This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

prime minister mark carney ukraine's president volatimer zelensky will meet with u.s president
donald trump today trump is trying to broker and end to the war between russia and ukraine
with zelanski making several concessions in its latest proposal the big question is will russia sign on
J.P. Tasker reports.
The attack on Kyiv shows just how important it is that we stand with Ukraine during this difficult time.
After getting support from Prime Minister Mark Carney,
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is hoping for some from U.S. President Donald Trump today.
I hope very important and very constructive meeting with President Trump.
He'll pitch his plan to bring an end to the Russian conflict.
We need two things, pressure on Russia and sufficient strong support for Ukraine.
That includes a request for security guarantees from the United States and other Western allies.
While a Trump-Zelensky deal on that and what the Ukrainian president calls territorial issues would be a breakthrough.
There is no progress when it comes to Putin ending the war.
Kurt Volker, Trump's former representative to Ukraine, tells CBC News there's only peace if Russia agrees and it's not looking good.
Putin has made it very clear, including in just the past few days, that he wants everything.

In Edmonton, the death of a man in an emergency room that was allegedly waiting hours for treatment
now has Alberta's government ordering a review.
And he's Haydari reports.
He was gone because I was slapping.
Prashan, Prashan, wake up, don't, don't, don't.
Miharrika Sri Kumar was there when her husband Prashant died.
She says it was after around eight hours in an ER waiting room.
He'd gone to the hospital complaining of chest pains.
But the one time in his entire lifetime in Canada, he needed that system, that treatment, that medical care, he was denied.
44-year-old Prashant Shri Kumar's surviving family says he should have been seen by a doctor far sooner.
And they believe he was not triaged properly at Edmonton's Grain's Hospital.
CBC News has not confirmed how busy the hospital's ER was that day.
It is run by Covenant Health, a Catholic agency within Alberta's health system,
who would not comment on specifics due to privacy.
On social media, the provincial minister for hospitals said he directed both the provincial health agency and Covenant Health to review what led up to Shrikomar's death.
The chief medical examiner's office is also investigating.
And he's had already, CBC News, Edmonton.
Malaria kills hundreds of thousands of children globally every year.
But now there's hope against the disease.
A recent real-world result study shows a vaccine is effective in preventing severe illness and hospitalizations.
Jennifer Eune explains.
I lost my baby. Malaria killed Permanent Acelo's baby at only five months old.
Nigeria, her home, is estimated to have a quarter of the world's malaria cases.
But now Acello is feeling hopeful.
She's immunizing her surviving child with a malaria vaccine that's showing a great deal of promise.
A recent study followed 45,000 children younger than five in three African countries.
It found those who received three doses of the vaccine.
RTSS were less likely to suffer from severe malaria, says Dr. Scott Gordon, who leads the malaria vaccine
program at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.
This is further data that really verifies the effectiveness of the vaccine, the safety of the
vaccine.
One problem with this malaria vaccine, Gordon says it's not cheap and requires four doses.
While the manufacturer and Gavi are bringing prices down, Gordon says,
countries must continue funding the fight against malaria.
Jennifer Yun, CBC News, Toronto.
Several weather warnings have been issued in most provinces in the Yukon, with rain, freezing rain, snow,
and extreme cold hammering various parts of the country.
An environment Canada winter storm warning says there will be up to 40 centimeters of snow along the west coast of Newfoundland.
Heavy snow is also in the forecast for the central and northern parts of Ontario and Quebec,
while freezing rain is on the way for the southern portions of those provinces.
And that is your world this hour.
For CBC News, I'm Neil Kumar.
