We're learning more about the vast collection of motorcycles
apparently seized from Canadian fugitive Ryan Wedding
and what it can tell us about possible money laundering.
The former Olympic snowboarder has been at the center of a massive
multinational drug trafficking investigation.
Mexican authorities found the high-end bikes in a series of raids.

Authorities showed off.
dozens of red, yellow, and blue motorcycles said to be worth a combined $40 million U.S.
The bikes were seemingly obtained by Ontario-born alleged cocaine kingpin Ryan Wedding as a way
to launder drug money. Now, the FBI confirms some of the motorcycles appear to be originals
that had been used in professional racing. Moto Grand Prix journalist Simon Patterson
tracked the source of several bikes. There's a bike that won a world championship. So all in all,
just an absolutely amazing collection of machines that wedding has somehow been able to amass.
The U.S. Treasury recently sanctioned John Luca Tupolo, an Italian accused of procuring high-end vehicles and bikes for the Canadian,
who was considered one of the FBI's most wanted fugitives.
Teopolo denies wrongdoing and insists it's all a misunderstanding.

Swiss authorities are investigating whether building regulations were followed after a deadly fire at a ski resort.
