Sabrina stepping into special crimes, where the stakes hit harder.
We want to find the person who did this so it doesn't happen again.
But this time, she can't do it alone.
I was brought here to be a partner.
Partners need trust.
And must learn to put her faith in others.
One last time, are you with us?
I didn't come this far.
To only come this far.
Allegiance.

from cbc news the world this hour i'm mike miles an ice agent shot and killed a woman today
during an immigration crackdown in the twin cities of minneapolis and st paul homeland security alleges
she was threatening to hit officers with her vehicle but the democratic mayor of minneapolis says
that's not what video of the incident shows james strassion has more
The video shows an SUV stopped.
Three federal immigration officers surround the vehicle.
One of them fires multiple shots into the driver's side of the front windshield as the SUV pulls away.
Minneapolis police described the deceased as a white woman who was not the target of any immigration enforcement.
Quickly, two very conflicting narratives of what happened emerged.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry called the shooting reckless.
They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense.
That is bullshit.
While Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem described the woman as a rioter who weaponized her vehicle.
It was an act of domestic terrorism.
An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him.
All of this comes amidst a massive DHS deployment of some 2,000 agents in Minneapolis and St. Paul's.

It states has seized a Russian-flanked oil tanker in the Atlantic as well as another ship near the Caribbean, both with ties to Venezuela.
Garen Paul's reports.
Grainy video shows troops fast roping off a helicopter hovering over the oil tanker and boarding the ship.
It was originally known as the Bello 1, but had recently changed its flag to Russia.
It slipped through the U.S. maritime blockade of sanctioned tankers and refused to allow American forces to board it.
The seizure is part of the Trump administration.
The administration's push to dictate oil flows in its backyard and force Venezuela's socialist government to cooperate.
Two more ships were seized.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the U.S. is selectively rolling back sanctions to allow the sale of oil on the seized tankers.
We are about to execute on a deal to take all the oil.
They have oil that is stuck in Venezuela.
They can't move it because of our quarantine and because it's sanctioned.
We are going to take between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil.
We're going to sell it in the marketplace at market rates.
Russia is describing the.
seizure as outright piracy. Karen Paul's, CBC News, Washington. The White House says plans to annex
Greenland are moving full speed ahead. In recent days, the Trump administration has renewed interest
in the self-governing territory belonging to Denmark. Spokesperson Caroline Levitt says if diplomacy
doesn't work, the U.S. could take it by force. She says President Donald Trump wants it for
national security reasons. He views it in the best interests of the United States to deter Russian
and Chinese aggression in the Arctic region.
And so that's why his team is currently talking about what a potential purchase would look like.
Greenland, Denmark, and several European countries have condemned U.S. interest in annexing the island.
The head of an independent panel looking at Calgary's water system says the infrastructure needs a complete overhaul.
Siegfried Kiefer says recent emergencies could have been avoided.
Calgarians have faced severe water restrictions in the past few years after breaks
in what's known as the Bears'Baw feeder main.
Kiefer says the water system meets better oversight and more proactive repairs.
I believe you would have averted having this situation of water curtailment.
There were several opportunities over the last couple decades to build in resiliency
and redundancy associated with that bear's paw feeder main.
And had they been, you would have been able to divert the flows around this rupture
and not interrupt service to Calgary.
experience. Keyfruit says the city needs a board dedicated to running the water system. The Quebec
Superior Court has authorized a class action lawsuit against ticket master. The plaintiffs
accusing it of charging abusive service fees on ticket sales. The lawsuit says those fees fluctuate
based on ticket prices instead of the actual cost of the service provided. The claims have not
been tested in court. That is the world this hour for CBC News. I'm Mike Miles.
Thank you.
