This ascent isn't for everyone.
You need grit to climb this high this often.
You've got to be an underdog that always over-delivers.
You've got to be 6,500 hospital staff, 1,000 doctors,
all doing so much with so little.
You've got to be Scarborough.
Defined by our uphill battle and always striving towards new heights.
And you can help us keep climbing.

from cbc news the world this hour i'm mike miles an ice agent shot and killed a woman today during an immigration crackdown in minneapolis
homeland security alleges she was threatening to hit officers with her vehicle but the democratic mayor of
minneapolis says that's not what video of the incident shows james strassion has more the video shows an SUV stopped
Three federal immigration officers surround the vehicle.
One of them fires multiple shots into the driver's side of the front windshield as the SUV pulls away.
Minneapolis police described the deceased as a white woman who was not the target of any immigration enforcement.
Quickly, two very conflicting narratives of what happened emerged.
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry called the shooting reckless.
They are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense.
That is bullshit.
While Homeland Security Secretary Christy Noem described the woman as a rioter who weaponized her vehicle.
It was an act of domestic terrorism.
An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him.
All of this comes amidst a massive DHS deployment of some 2,000 agents in Minneapolis and St. Paul's.

The United States has seized a Russian-flagged oil tanker in the Atlantic as well as another ship.
near the Caribbean, both with ties to Venezuela.
It comes in the wake of last week's capture of Nicholas Maduro.
Karen Paul's reports.
Grainy video shows troops fast roping off a helicopter hovering over the oil tanker and boarding
the ship.
It was originally known as the Bello One, but had recently changed its flag to Russia.
It slipped through the U.S. maritime blockade of sanctioned tankers and refused to allow
American forces to board it.
The seizure is part of the Trump administration's
push to dictate oil flows in its backyard and force Venezuela's socialist government to cooperate.
Two more ships were seized.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the U.S. is selectively rolling back sanctions to allow the sale of oil on the seized tankers.
We are about to execute on a deal to take all the oil. They have oil that is stuck in Venezuela.
They can't move it because of our quarantine and because it's sanctioned. We are going to take between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil.
We're going to sell it in the marketplace at market rates.
Russia is describing the seizure.
as outright piracy. Karen Paul's, CBC News, Washington.

An independent panel is calling for an overhaul of Canada, excuse me, Calgary's water system,
The panel says decades of underfunding led to two catastrophic failures of the city's main water feeder line.
Aaron Collins reports.
This is an emergency situation.
Siegfried Kiefer says Calgary's water system needs a complete overhaul.
The chair of an independent review panel says a lack of oversight the city's growth and repeated deferrals of maintenance led to two failures of the city's largest water feeder Maine.
Decisions to divert or delay projects was done without an understanding of what the land.
long-term implications of that work.
Calgarians are being asked to conserve water for the second time in 18 months after the
pipe burst again last week.
And Kiefer says replacement of the pipe scheduled to take two years should be sped up.
We all don't need to go to sleep at night thinking, well, maybe tomorrow I won't be able to have
my shower.
The report says no single mayor or council is to blame for the current situation but
insists that Calgary's water utility should be transformed into an independent corporate
owned by the city.
Aaron Collins, CBC News, Calgary.
