Starting point is 00:00:56 I was just giggling to myself because there's, you know, we didn't. have a show Friday. Yax Wilde's going to come out in like a monthish. Yeah, I think, I think beginning of November is the plan. Yeah, very excited for that. And thank you, Nick and KB, for all your hard work on that. Came out. It's going to be awesome.
Starting point is 00:01:15 So we weren't here Friday. You know, three days to recap. Brandon went to Mississippi State, tons of football, everything. And I just looked down, Che may have spoiled the movie Digger in his review. Che say it ain't. Spoiled Digger? So I didn't realize that I saw a
Starting point is 00:01:37 Well digger Don't spoil it again I saw a preview for it I mentioned some But I hadn't really thought about it I mentioned something that happened 30 minutes since the movie And everyone was like
Starting point is 00:01:47 That's a spoiler It was an enormous twist That like marketing They're accepting a box office bomb Because they didn't want to give away The twist in the marketing Yeah I don't know what the movie's about They weren't very clear with that
Starting point is 00:02:01 in the marketing either. Right, because so it's like it did terrible at the theater. This is a film called Yes. Gigger. Giger. Which is known for the twist at the end. There's a twist. No, it sounds like there's a twist
Starting point is 00:02:15 early. Did you spoil the twist? Yes. Oh. But it's early. I didn't realize that it was like being held. So the entire movie is built on the twist. That they didn't. They specifically didn't if you've watched any of the commercials
Starting point is 00:02:30 of the previews, you don't know what the movie's about at all. I'm going to go ahead and blame the movie makers. Che exists and Che exists before this movie came out. You got to know Che's out there. Do you think that Chee may have had something to do with the poor box office numbers? Yes. I know why it's doing poor in the box office is because this movie, I like this movie, but I also don't think about politics in my everyday life.
Starting point is 00:03:00 I have no, like, if you are any way politically, you're going to hate this movie. Okay. Are you spoiling it again? Yeah, it was a spoiler, right? No. So what, it's just political in general? Like, you can draw parallels to things that happen in the movie as to, like, certain things that are happening currently, like, in politics. And did you catch it as you were watching?
Starting point is 00:03:22 Someone had to point it out to you after. No. No, I mean, yeah, you can just, you can, some of the things they're talking about are things that are being talked about now. and it's just this movie is a few Like how big this is? No, he's, yeah, he's afraid. I was going to see it, but there's no point now. No, I actually want to see it again.
Starting point is 00:03:38 I was talking about it with Gooch. Guts saw it a second time, and they leave little like Easter eggs, but there is a scene in this movie that Tom Cruise is, we talked about this recently. He's one of the most decorator actors of all time. Is this going to be a spoiler? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:53 He has a 10-minute monologue in this. That is, I think, the best scene he's ever done in any movie ever. What? What about when he's flipping the bottles and cocktail? I'm not alone on that. He was incredible. What about show me the money? When he slides on the socks.
Starting point is 00:04:09 Yeah, slides on the socks. What about when he goes mock 10? Yeah, what about mock 10, dude? This is better. What about when he says? Fidelio, so he can go to the weird party where everyone fucks each other and then they like, you know, it's a secret Illuminati. Help me help you.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Help me help you. This is better. Secret Illuminati? It's like one shot. It's 10 minutes long. He does it all in one take. It's incredible. Were people mad at you for the spoiler?
Starting point is 00:04:37 Yes. Oh, they were. Yeah, they were. That's perfect. Which, sorry. When did men decide to become film buffs? It feels like in the last three years, every man is a film buff. Yeah, that used to be a traditional, like, email, beta male job.
Starting point is 00:04:54 COVID. Right. We have, every dude is, like, criticized. the living shit out of every movie, and they're seeing every movie. We can't have that. Yeah, we can't have our men just reviewing movies. We have a guy in that room that told me he was a film buff.
Starting point is 00:05:09 In that room? Behind you, Chad. Oh, maybe he's not in that room. He's not in that room? He's not in that room. He didn't want the movie to be spoiled, so he left the room. Should we spoil? What a pussy!
Starting point is 00:05:19 Anyway, this film buff didn't know who Tessa Thompson was a couple of weeks ago. Oh, really? And I was like, Tessa Thompson. I know where? He said, I've never heard of that person. You've never seen a movie. I've never seen a movie. I am the last great American straight male.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Che go undercover and go spoiled Digger to Wyatt. It's so mad. You're so right, though, K.B. So, wait, Wyatt isn't in the booths because he doesn't want to get Digger spoiled? Yeah, and he's already on, like, one HP mentally after the Yankees this weekend. I feel like they're down one-nothing. In his mind, they are on a 400-game losing streak where they've been no-hills.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Also, that game was like 48 hours ago. That does not. This is a take I'm working on. You can push back and maybe I'll readjust. I'll adjust the take. But I think you can only get one thing you're crazy about. I think you only get one. I agree that.
Starting point is 00:06:09 You can't be like a psycho about the Yankees and also a psycho about movies. Movies. Yeah. That's what's happening. Be in a room while you're talking about. Correct. You got to have one thing. Like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 I kind of like skipping work because you don't want diggers. Boss, I can't come. got ear plugs in I agree you can only have one thing it's also you can have interest but like to be that psychotic you gotta pick which one you're gonna
Starting point is 00:06:36 hmm it's Yankees for why why it's this you can only have one thing that you're like tough to be around about that thing that's the Yankees you know what's funny
Starting point is 00:06:44 he's kind of dressed like the bad guy from the Truman show the Yankees version of it today oh yeah he's combining the two passions he's dressed like George or yeah George Simon
Starting point is 00:06:56 or didn't he used to have the turtlenecks? Oh, I don't know. I'm wearing a turtleneck, I think. I know with like a little hat. It's like a... Like, first off. I would say my buddy, no escalators on Twitter,
Starting point is 00:07:06 he's a very good account. You probably follow him. You kind of count. He said, it's so perfectly put, he was like, do you know how hard it is to be the one in a one hitter and have everyone be mad at you? And that's what Austin Wells was.
Starting point is 00:07:20 He was the only one who got a hit. Yeah. And everyone's like, fuck that guy, fucking hate his guts. That's crazy. That's really hard to do. So this, he broke up another. They were getting no, they were getting no hit.
Starting point is 00:07:32 He had a double tried to make a triple got thrown out by like, oh, no. And everyone's pissed at him. And it's like, but he was the only one who got a hit. You would have been better off striking out. Yeah. He could have just, he could have just, like, faded into the, the failure of the entire team. Does Wyatt have more stuff? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:07:47 We need Wyatt in here. Yeah, get why. I want to know the whole list of Elmer done. I haven't seen, I will not see Digger. Can I ask the group of question about this? Wyatt was also a Ladd McConkey superfan for some reason. I was in the movie since we had no yak.
Starting point is 00:08:01 Wait, what is that? Was that the question? No, that was just a... That was a statement. That was just an extra statement. I'm going to lead to the... leads to the question here. We had no yak on Friday, so I saw a 12 p.n. movie by me. This was the opening day. You wrote a movie? He also said he was in the movie.
Starting point is 00:08:16 What? Wow. All right, continue, Che. What? Don't get bog down. I'm at the first showing... I saw a 12 p.m. movie by me. Keep, Che? Fight. Fight through it
Starting point is 00:08:26 You wrote a move Near me Near me Location of theater is near me Okay 12 p.m. There are three people Oh my God
Starting point is 00:08:33 Oh, ain't no fucking way Oh, come on What a fucking reveal Dude, you literally You literally look like You just came from Frasers apart Oh, no fucking right Miles Green
Starting point is 00:08:48 This is Late 90s Seattle He's got a picking ring off He's got a pinnagony Oh fuck What are you doing? What a look. It's a Monday.
Starting point is 00:08:59 God damn it, why. That was so good. Oh, fuck yeah, dude. 10 out of 10 reveal. Look at the belt. I have an outfit reveal for the game. Oh, okay. This is just your pre-outfit?
Starting point is 00:09:12 You got a couple guys who just ate. We don't say it anymore, but they are metrosexual. Oh, yeah. That's Manhattan casual. Yeah. Maserati Michael, I've been saying he's a metrosexuals gets. All right, go back to your. story. That was awesome.
Starting point is 00:09:30 So you were on a 12 o'clock? There he is. When a 12 o'clock movie, there are three people there. I hit some traffic, so I missed all the preview. Wyatt, we're talking Digger. Is that cool? I don't want a spoiler. We're not going to spoil. What movie do you see Friday? No, Stephen. Digger. Oh, cool. Okay. So I get there. There's three total people, including me. One of the guys has a selfie stick and is pirating the movie.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Kind of badass? What am I supposed to do with that? Nothing. I had to walk by him, so there is a copy of this movie where I am walking by. You should have been. We got to find it. You got a citizens arrest him. I was pretty uncomfortable because I've never seen anyone do that before.
Starting point is 00:10:13 He was so blatant about it. People are still doing that? He had a selfie stick and was just doing it on his iPhone. I don't know. He was just like stole the digital copy. I feel like you can just find it online. Yeah, definitely. He's probably the guy that puts it on.
Starting point is 00:10:24 No, but we're talking about the actual movie itself. Not a phone copy. I get an upload of it. It hits streaming a couple weeks later. Yeah, I know. Streaming, yeah. You blink and is streaming. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:37 So what'd you do? I didn't do anything, but like, would you guys say? You're an accomplice. No. Yeah, I would do a citizen's arrest. On the floor. I'd be like, you were arrested. So what'd that guy do during the twist and what was the twist?
Starting point is 00:10:51 It was like 30 minutes in. No, don't say anything. Jay, is that too early for a twist? That's what I'm saying. Wyatt, go to the mic real quick. We got a couple questions for you. She was in Creed. We should have him control us, like, in Truman Show.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Yeah, what? Why, movies or the Yankees? Turn the mic on for some. Sopranos, then Yankees. What? Wait, wait, what? What are you think? No, no, no, you can't be a bigger sopranos fan than Yankees fan.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Well, I'll show the day. doesn't exist. It's done. It's done. It's over. 50% of the things Wyatt says are Sopranos quotes. Who are Rico Bosco? I guess so. But the Yankees make me angry. The Sopranos never makes me angry. Wow. I love the finale. Well, no, no, no. What about season five? Yeah. So it's perfect.
Starting point is 00:11:46 What? No, the one, the season when, when Vito goes to New Hampshire, that season sucks. Six? That sucks. I love that story. Oh, my God. You. You like Johnny cakes? Yeah. They're addictive. So you'd rather never watch the Yankees again than never and continue to watch Sopranos? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:09 How do you continue? There are substitutes to if I couldn't watch the Sopranos, but Yankees, we'll see next year what will happen if I don't get to watch the Yankees. Are you actively rewatching Sopranos at all times? How do you just ask like Siri to pick a number one through seven and then that's the season? and then ask it to pick a number one through 13, and then I just choose that random episode and restart from there. So, like, when, you know,
Starting point is 00:12:34 hopefully many, many years from now when you pass away, your obituary is going to say he loved the sopranos more than anything else? Yeah. I don't really get that. Hmm. I just think it's the greatest thing that's ever been great.
Starting point is 00:12:49 It's a great show. It's a great show. No, I like it, too. I think it's, like, better than any piece art ever made. What's your favorite movie? But it's also over. Well, not if you just keep watching it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:13:04 True. I guess that's true. What's your favorite? Because you're a film buff, Wyatt? No, I mean, Brandon would disagree with me because there's a lot of movies I have not watched. Yes. Okay. But my favorite movies probably before sunrise.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Never heard of it. Why do you sound so down? He sounds so down. Yeah, why are you so down? Horrific. Because Austin Wells tried to get a triple out of that double. Yeah. Yeah. Are you always a pinky ring guy? No, this is my Yankees' pinkie ring. Oh, this is a giveaway.
Starting point is 00:13:36 He wanted to make sure if you, if you're like, if you see him from 30 feet away, you're like, that's a douchebag. But then when you see him from two feet away, you're like confirmed that's a dude. Oh, yeah. I was right. Well, it's like, Dom does the same thing, but everything's like straight from. No, I make fun of Dom for that too. When he goes, he goes full kit. Good.
Starting point is 00:13:54 You have a different outfit for later? No, I just have a New Jersey that I'm going to wear tonight because I was wearing this sweater for the first three games and it won the first two, but now that it lost, I have to switch. And there's something in your life that matters more to you than the Yankees? Well, no, it's, I mean. This is, Glad McAoffrey. The Yankees probably mean more to me than most things mean to anybody, but the Sopranos don't upset me. I don't have, you know. Supranos can't get one hit in the pile.
Starting point is 00:14:30 So is there like an equal but opposite reaction to Sopranos where like if we caught you after Sopranos marathon, you would be just bounce it off the walls and like a. No, it's just a more steady like. It's like a drug that makes you feel good. But I also. Well, I guess like maybe like quoting the Sopranos to somebody who doesn't want to hear it like Marash or Mikey Betts. Like that gets me high. But there has to be. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:14:53 Yeah. They're also. Yeah. I'm going to push back a little bit. There has to be a Sopranos episode where if you do the random Siri thing and you play it, you're like, oh, this one's not very good. Yeah. What do you think the worst episode of the Sopranos? He likes the mall.
Starting point is 00:15:05 The thing with the Sopranos to me is that it's the funniest show ever made. So I could pick a random spot anywhere in the entire series and within 15 seconds, I'd be laughing. 15 seconds? Yeah. Like Carmelo with the fucking priest? Guaranteed. That sucked. That was such a bad story.
Starting point is 00:15:24 Disagree. I mean, everything is like... Yeah, Meadows' boyfriend. If I had to say one... One plot line that I don't love is the... When Adriana has the... Like, massive genius, that whole thing. The rapper in season one...
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yeah. It's kind of weird, but... Okay. Other than that, it's all good. You seem to strot, man. Well, this is essentially an elimination game tonight, so... Yeah. Do you think the lucky sweater...
Starting point is 00:15:53 So, wait, what was it, a lucky sweater? Yeah. Do you think it was because you were playing a bad team And now that you're playing a good team So it had nothing to do with the sweater Correlates with how bad the team you're playing in you're playing a very flawed Red Sox team Now you're playing a really good raised team No I think the reason we actually lost on Saturday was because I forgot to wear my belt
Starting point is 00:16:12 The belt was two and oh and we What's the belt? What's the belt? Is it a just a Yankees belt? It was two and oh against a bad A bad team well I thought the Red Sox were a good team I don't know the Yankees just played better than I've ever seen them play But it's not an elimination game tonight You'll be, you know, like Yeah, but Seven games series, dude
Starting point is 00:16:31 Wyatt, how old are you? Teams come back from down- 25. Yeah. 25, so seven. You just got to win game three and four, and then... And then maybe game six and seven. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:41 So the last one when you were eight years old? Yep. If you were down 03 in like a seven-game series, then it's over. That can't happen. What would David Chase think of your nonsensical superstitions? I mean, I think
Starting point is 00:16:55 he would find it interesting. He found all those quirks about the Sopranos actors interesting and included him in the show. Basically, everybody in the Sopranos was playing themselves in some way. Yeah. Men have no true meaning.
Starting point is 00:17:11 They just have to role play essentially. Oh, the Livia Soprano episodes suck too. Like, they're, I love the Sopranos. They're definitely are bad episodes. Yeah, but just because of characters hateable doesn't mean the episode is bad in some way.
Starting point is 00:17:26 It's making you feel anger. There are storylines. Like I said, the veto storylines sucked. I guess so. I don't know. Broken. Man, we got to get you a win. Who's pitching tonight?
Starting point is 00:17:41 Cam Schlittler. All right. So there you go. I mean, yeah, it has to be a win. It has to be a win. It has to be a win. Okay. Back to digger.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Yeah, Digger. Let's get back to Digger. You know what, just tell us this twist. I'm with you though Kyle Some of the dumbest people I know When they talk about movies They talk about the cinematography And the lack of character development
Starting point is 00:18:05 And I feel like that's just things they think they have to say Right Right It's happened recently Yeah Is it letterbox? Men or I think it's the letterbox It's the letterbox phenomenon
Starting point is 00:18:14 Where you guys did this with beard Trend eat years ago Yeah Yeah Yeah I did it like the Nike movie Because there was no love scene Yeah
Starting point is 00:18:21 I liked it It just could have been better This is your new IPA We need something We need something to get excited about Yeah like a true A true movie reviewer It's kind of like a true food reviewer
Starting point is 00:18:38 Where they're gonna talk about shit That I'll never notice And I don't really care Is the point of like a critic Do you find one that you align with And then just follow that one? I mean, Che is the critic for the average movie He's the critic of the people
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yeah He will spoil the movie for you Yeah A lot of times I don't know. That's a good critic. I don't know about the movie. He likes bad movies and doesn't like good movies. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:00 He's a critic for the people. We're dumb people. A lot of people are not liking this movie. I like this movie. He also judges dramas as if they're comedies. Yes. Right. Well, I think he tracks his own laugh.
Starting point is 00:19:14 He doesn't do any research going into the movie or doesn't read about the movie or watch. Do you watch trailers? Sometimes yes, but sometimes if I'm like, all right, I have some free time. Let me just fire something up. So you go into the movie without knowing the genre. I don't hate that. I don't see how you do that. That one, you just go to the movies and then you just watch a movie without.
Starting point is 00:19:31 Yeah, sometimes. I can't. Yeah, and then someone will be like, oh, the movie was great because the character development. I'm like, oh, yeah, I guess that's true. Yeah, you didn't know. Yeah, I agree. I guess they did develop that character. Yeah, that is why I liked it.
Starting point is 00:19:45 That's pretty much how I operate movies. Excited for the social reckoning? It's Friday, right? I don't know. It's a new Aaron Sorkin movie. Okay. Then, yeah, I'm going to see, me and Nick, you're going to see a movie on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:20:05 We're going to see the Pito movie. The what movie? The Pito movie? Hunger Games? The Pito movie? The Primile movie. RR.R. Primetime.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Oh. Oh, Pito. You thought Pita? I thought Pita at first. I saw that this weekend. I feel like I wasn't really craving a backstory. So the pedophiles? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:29 To, yeah, all it was. Like, it was a hit show, but I was never really curious on it. And it was a hitch. I remember watching it live. Yeah. That was one of those shows I think it was out right around when I was in college and it was. It was a pioneer. Was it like appointment television?
Starting point is 00:20:44 Oh, yeah. I never watched it. Catch some pedophiles. Yeah. Never watched. Oh, it was awesome. Yeah. It was so sick.
Starting point is 00:20:52 It was a phenomenon. It was so great. watching these guys lives just be destroyed on National Telephone. I was watching the best of pedophiles, like on YouTube of like the best reactions. The best of pedophiles.
Starting point is 00:21:04 The best of the highlights. Yeah. The highlights. Yeah. So good. Imagine how. We got to come up with a different way to say. The best pedophiles. Can you imagine? Name your top ten pedophiles.
Starting point is 00:21:18 Who's your favorite? You're a real fan? Couldn't get any worse than getting caught and then it's revealed that they're on TV. Yeah. Oh my. God. I always, I like once a month, I think of that doctor, who I don't know if you guys remember that episode. Yes.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Freaked out. He, he was such a nerd. He spilled the margarita that he was about to pour for like a 14-year-old. What a dork. What a loser. Yeah, it's just like, hey, what are we going to do Sunday night? I can't remember what night it would premiere, but it would be like, well, let's just watch some guys' lives just be ruined. Forever and ever.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Well, did they actually arrest them? Yeah. They did. Yep. Okay. Yeah. I still don't get, how does it work with, like, showing their faces? Because there's some reality shows where, like, they have to sign, but for this, it's like, we don't even care what you say.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Yeah, I don't think that. Yeah, there's no way I'm signing. Yeah. Just simply don't sign. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know how that works. Just blur my face out. I guess, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Same with cops, I guess. Like when they would. But sometimes they're blurred on cops, but you would imagine they get some sort of money if they sign. who's not blurred. And isn't there, wasn't there like a legal, maybe I made this up, but wasn't there like a legal loophole that some of the guys got free? I think a lot of. Yeah, because I was like, I wasn't talking to a 14-year-old.
Starting point is 00:22:33 I was talking to a cop. Oh, literally. There was some problems with it. I sensed it. Yeah, yeah. I thought we were role play. It was obviously, obviously, dude. So clearly a cop.
Starting point is 00:22:46 He was doing a little much. Yeah, he was getting a little weird. I didn't like the whole young girl thing. Yeah. That was weird of the cop. really wanted to fuck the grown cop. Dude, if you want to fuck a grown cop, that's the best route to do. Yeah, it's the quickest way.
Starting point is 00:23:01 It wasn't even a cop. It was like a weird producer. Yeah, it's true. He was the freaky. Yeah, that weird producer was having some fun in the back. What were you going to say, Jay? Big Cat and others, I know you're big cops guys. Because America's most wanted people to?
Starting point is 00:23:15 I feel like John Walsh never really got the shine. Not as much. No? No. I always liked that show. He was a very good narrator. no i loved cops those the cops was
Starting point is 00:23:27 appointment television as well how much of that is the theme song bad poets that's a lot of lifting there was some funny moments though oh yeah that guy under the house he was like they were chasing him
Starting point is 00:23:38 like you got anything on you he's like uh you drop anything under there he's like there's probably like a gram and a half a crack but it ain't mine yeah yeah there was one that was the woman called the cops because the drug dealer stole her money and the cop showed up and was like
Starting point is 00:23:53 What are you doing? You're complaining about a crack deal? Cops. I'm not a drug dealer. I'm a prostitute. Oh, man. Brandon. It wasn't fair to the people involved.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Yeah? Exploitative. Probably a little of that. My cousin was on it. Really? Yeah. In which facet. Got a cop.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Okay. Yeah. He knows he'd be on it? She. She? No. We were amped up. Called my aunt.
Starting point is 00:24:30 You have a watch party? Brady, how was, I was Mississippi State? It was a wonderful weekend. Starkwell's a great place to go. I just love being home. And there was a three-hour period on Saturday that kind of sucked. That was the game. We got our asses kicked by a better football team.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Yeah, you got your dick stomped. Just got our dick stomped in. Did you go in with hope? Yeah, a little bit. I knew 2007 was last time we beat him, and I knew what was coming a little bit. But you always talk yourself into it. You're low-key smarter than you lead on. I know.
Starting point is 00:25:02 Ran into a very low-key. Yeah. But there was some hope that this time it's different. You talk yourself into it going in. But again, elite weekend. We got to go to the concert Friday night. Got to go eat some great food. You took Mama?
Starting point is 00:25:16 I didn't take Mama. Mama gave the tickets away. I gave her for her birthday. What? Yeah. whatever she texted me what'd she say it's between us well then why'd you say it was between you i wanted you to know that she texted right so share what did my uncle did my uncle doug text you too why are you are you yeah uncle dug texting me a video that was really old was it me being sad
Starting point is 00:25:40 no is you getting scared by the snake in your grill oh that sucked yeah um yeah mama tried to scare me the other day i called and said i was going to put the pardon my take in the portnoy book in her truck This was like 10 o'clock at night. And when I got there, I walked into the house instead of in the truck. I couldn't find her in the house and said, and then I was like, oh, fuck, she's trying to scare me somewhere. She was hiding in the truck. She told me about that. She took a sleeping pill.
Starting point is 00:26:05 She fell asleep in the truck trying to see her. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. She said, my dearest BC. What? That's how she started. Why is that so long?
Starting point is 00:26:15 Very long. It's the longest that don't read all that. I can't happen. She said, I was a bit loopy when BFW. you. I like that you were first. Got here is I had already taken the sleeping pill. I vaguely remember hiding in my truck so I could scare Brandon when he got here. But alas, I fell asleep in the truck and only awakened when his big foot ass pulled up in the driveway,
Starting point is 00:26:34 which caused my scare tactic to go awry. Yeah. Is Mama a good writer? Yeah. She wrote this like a love road. This is like a war letter, my dearest big cat. Your mom loves to scare you? Yes.
Starting point is 00:26:45 What do you think that is? I don't know. I think because you never really. I scare easily. She ended it besides. I would much rather. be seen with you than Brandon A day. That's needlessly hurtful.
Starting point is 00:26:56 And I wrote back tits or nothing. Let's get to the tities. That's what that picture is? So you got her tickets for her birthday and she just gave him away? She was going to go with a-treating it like a house. She was going to go with a young co-worker and then she just ended up sending the young co-worker who went by herself. So, yeah, or went with somebody else.
Starting point is 00:27:17 Yep. Yep. Did you feel cool, fist-bump and hearty? I did. The chicken parma I heard was really bad. It was awful because you don't order chicken parmen Anthony's. You order steak or seafood. Look at the proffish tails up there.
Starting point is 00:27:28 It was about. It was about. Cody being stupid. No, Cody wanting to get what he wants. Yeah, and he, I ended up eating it. Nick, you know how like sometimes you get, this has happened to Rone too where you get credit for things? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:42 That, like, you had nothing to do with it. I love it. Cody thought I had called Anthony's and was like, make sure he has a dog shit chicken. Like, Cody, I don't know what to say. Dude, I'm pretty bad. It was just bad. What, Cody can't even finish it.
Starting point is 00:27:59 He's definitely thinking about me and trying to prank me. Give him the worst chicken. There's no way it could be this bad. This has big cat's fingerprints all over. So did you email him? Yeah, oh, man, I should have. Should have. It was a good weekend.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I had fun. Yeah, and it wasn't like it was a season ruiner. Oh, I don't think it's a season ruin. It doesn't matter how bad you lost Alabama. No. Still in it. We're still in it. We can still go 9 and 3, 8, and 4.
Starting point is 00:28:25 We're fine. We're fine. Still a positive season, positive step forward. Would you have preferred me not to text you before the game? No, we were starting to whisper. Okay. I felt bad being the one to text. Camario wasn't in the dog walk,
Starting point is 00:28:40 which is all the team getting off the bus and coming to the stadium. So that sent up some red flags. And then there were some. I heard a little scuttle butt that he might be dealing with a tiny bit of an injury. You texted me some injury issues. And then he did start the day. He went straight to the trainer's room. So, yeah, he couldn't move, obviously.
Starting point is 00:28:56 So hopefully he gets healthy in the next couple of weeks. Brandon's at the saddest text to the mostly sports chat. Accidentally, he said, I don't know. I don't feel like a big dinner tonight. Whoa. And then he followed up and he's like, sorry, wrong group. And that broke my heart. That was, that was disarming.
Starting point is 00:29:13 Because like, the part of me that wanted to troll him, I was like, I can't. He's, this is the saddest I've ever seen. We had. We went to Anthony's Friday night. We had plans to go to Commodore Bobbs, which was one of my favorite Starville restaurants Saturday night. And about 4 o'clock, I just realized I don't want to go at all. And I just sent the boys and I stayed in.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Oh, man. Well, that's... Well, it was super hot. I was fighting off a migraine. Oh, really hot down there. I think that is the saddest thing you could text someone. I don't feel like a big dinner. I don't feel like a big dinner.
Starting point is 00:29:41 You know he loves to eat. Yeah. I had been looking forward. Yeah. What is that? You have many qualities Including your appetite That's accurate
Starting point is 00:29:54 You could always eat I usually do Every time you go down there I think it's a goodwill hunting situation You just you don't come back Every time I go down there I think about it How were you received by the people
Starting point is 00:30:04 Compared to past visits Oh they love it Yeah big time Did you get your name on the Jumbotron Or was that just Green Greg? That's just Green Greg Yeah Just Green Greg
Starting point is 00:30:13 What the fuck It's world That is Greg's world. It's Greg's world. An SEC school for a giant game had... Welcome Green Greg. And then he had... He had...
Starting point is 00:30:25 Nicky smokes in a caddy uniform. Shama zoo. Scoo! Shoeba! Shal Mazoo! We made it! We made it! How did he not say...
Starting point is 00:30:36 That's the one time where it's appropriate to go, what? Yeah. What the fuck? How does you get your name up there? I don't fucking know. What do you know? Huh?
Starting point is 00:30:45 Oh, that's awesome. They kicked the shit out of the Florida. Yeah. Everything's going right for Greg. Greg is hot. Chiefs are undefeated. Greg is fucking hot. By the way, the Chiefs, for anyone keeping scored home,
Starting point is 00:30:59 three out of four games thus far in this season, they've scored over 27 points. Oh, no. Steve Jay, they've never scored 27. Jay, you've got to be getting nervous. The worst part is, I don't think the Bucks are going to score 30 points this year. No.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Also, very funny, the Bucks could, go all the way to being mathematically eliminated from winning 11 games before they win their first game. Whoa, fun fact. And so wait, you have to do the arrow in your hair, arrowhead?
Starting point is 00:31:27 Yeah. Did we decide on a punishment? I will do whatever. I don't know, we've got to figure that out. I like Arrowhead. Yeah. That feels. I like, yeah, his hair being weird at the Super Bowl.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Yeah, that could be it. Or maybe one of those like gag arrows as well. Oh, yeah, and it looks like it's going startle. people. Yeah. Just wearing that the whole time. Be scary. It'd be funny.
Starting point is 00:31:51 Titus. If you saw a tube with a nozzle on the top and on the front of the tube, it was a little pictograph of a flame, and then it said burn, what would you think it is? A tube, a nozzle. How big is the tube? Like a flamethrower of some sort? Like something portable? It says. It says burn. It's on a keychain.
Starting point is 00:32:17 So something dangerous for sure, right? Yeah. Oh, like Mace? Yes. Yeah. Right. I would think that's made. It's around to.
Starting point is 00:32:27 You'd be wrong, though. What are we referring to? You'd be wrong. You'd be right. You'd be right, but you'd be wrong with what our friend did. Our friend upstairs found a tube of Mace. The man who forgets his head. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:32:41 I just saw it on the peremptu. Yeah, okay. What did he? White Sox Dave found a bottle of mace in his drawer. Funny that White Sox Dave has mace. Yep. Thought it was a lighter. Hit it and almost blinded Nick Addison.
Starting point is 00:32:58 You got Nick Addison in the back of the head with pepper sprays. Infomercials are like made for Dave. You can only put so many caution signs on it. Do you have the video? Yeah, when you buy something and has a thousand little signs on, you're like, who the fuck with this is? To know this. The plastic bag not being a toy. Yeah, Dave was- Why do we need that warning?
Starting point is 00:33:16 Sit crisscross applesau's playing with it. Oh, you're trying to here. That's all my shit. I just, I started, that's all my shit. You posters? No, not the post-ers. What are they? Watch out.
Starting point is 00:33:28 What was that? Isn't that me? Where did you get that? My fucking hair? What face? Oh, watch. Go watch your hands. I don't, I don't, I do it.
Starting point is 00:33:43 My talk. Oh my god I thought he got in himself in like a pickle where he accidentally pressed the spray button If you zoom in it's just him toying with it he thinks the lighter and he's trying to light it Yeah, he says watch out after he maced him It hits his reaction is so funny, he just All my shit is no not the pose is What are these?
Starting point is 00:34:05 What? Where did you get that? Where did you get this? Oh, my God. He blamed him. He meant to push it, right? He was looking at it. I think so.
Starting point is 00:34:23 He just missed his face, almost on purpose. Unbelievable. It's an apple. Where did you get that on you? He's perfect. There's still some, like, dangling from the ceiling. Like, dried up. White Sox Dave.
Starting point is 00:34:36 He's the best. Everyone tuned into the stretch today because it was a pure White Sox Dave. Pure White Sox Dave show. Well, it was his weekend. Well, he's hot. He's won everything. White socks, Northwestern. Yeah, Bears.
Starting point is 00:34:51 But, like, you know, it's Chicago Sports Show. You'd think we'd start with either the playoff team or the Bears. No. We started with Northwestern football. Wow. And he was like, let's start with Northwestern football. And then Eddie was like, okay, what do you want to do? And he's like, I don't know, Eddie, ask me questions about it.
Starting point is 00:35:08 Yeah. We really did Northwestern football for like 15 minutes. To start the show, yo yeah. So perfect. I watched all of his videos on Instagram toys. He's here with my beautiful Border Collie. He's playing fetch, giving a Northwestern review. Eddie filming him at Hork and Carey.
Starting point is 00:35:34 It was a good White Sox Dave weekend. Does being a Northwestern fan fit his person? Oh, it doesn't work. I can't get it. He's passionate about it, and it's just so funny. How did that happen? How did he become? Chicago, I think.
Starting point is 00:35:58 Is he the only, are there others like him? He is the only one that it actually worked when they do the billboard saying Chicago's Big Ten Team. He's like, wait a second. Yeah. Everyone else was like the private school in Evanston. Yeah. Chicago's Big Ten team? Everyone else was Chicago went to a different big ten team.
Starting point is 00:36:16 Wait a second. Dave was like, all right. I'm in. Yeah, Dave should be cheering for, like, Northern. No, it's so perfect. And it's so great to, like, I'll say it just, I said to my wife when she saw, I was pulling up one of the clips, she was like,
Starting point is 00:36:33 why is he a Northwestern fan? He was like, he went there and shit. What? I was like, no, I'm joking, but could you imagine? I imagine, like, any burner account that's talking shit about Northwestern football has to be Dave. Like no one else.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Yeah. Who else? Dude, he's, he said that he will be disappointed if they don't beat Oregon. In Oregon. Wow. I think I forget about Northwestern more than anything in the world. Yeah. I didn't know they had fans like that.
Starting point is 00:37:02 It's crazy. Every day I forget about Northwestern. Stadium looks sick. It does look awesome. Yeah. Insane facilities. Big Ten school. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:13 One of the biggest metros in the country that doesn't have any other. Yeah. Power 4 program. I got to think they'd have more fans. But it's the private school and it's, you know, private school. It's very hard to get into. I got to go up there. Apparently there's a plaque with one of my quotes on it in like the bowels of the stadium they put up.
Starting point is 00:37:34 Oh. I was talking to one of Pat Ryan's sons who's, who like basically built the whole stadium. He's the man. And he said that they put up a plaque of my, I used to joke like Northwest. Evanston, Illinois at 11 a.m. is the toughest place to play in the country. Because it was like you'd have like Ohio State show up. And it's a bunch of dudes from Ohio and Pennsylvania and Texas and Florida. And they played high school football in bigger environments.
Starting point is 00:38:02 That's right. Then Northwestern. And it would be like 11 a.m. half crowded. Late November. Yeah. Gray. How do you get up? No fan.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Yeah. So they had us last game I went to at Ryan Field. They had Ohio State beat a half. They were up at half time. Yeah. C.J. Stroud was like trying to throw into the wind and the balls. Dude, did. The line everywhere.
Starting point is 00:38:21 Many of Wisconsin started raining. He's died going to Evanston at 11 a.m. Beth Mowen's on the call. 11 a.m. Yeah. Like, all right, here we go. Western versus. Sneak up on you.
Starting point is 00:38:34 Are we, uh, are you and I suing NBC? Yeah. Cool. Were you on it too? Yeah, my voice right after yours. That's bullshit. What is this? Video of the year.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Genuinely. Oh my God. This is awesome. That's you. Give me my money. Dude, I was, I was just sitting in my office. was that my voice? Blake text me. He's like, I heard your voice on Sunday night football.
Starting point is 00:38:52 That was played on NBC last night. Oh, that got past me before I even heard it. Play it again. They used to be a couple times. Video of the year. Genuinely incredible. This is awesome. It's been a project now that's been ongoing 12 plus years.
Starting point is 00:39:06 This is on NBC. This is even bigger than we thought. Their first building was a boutique hotel. The internet is extremely impressed. Here's an executive spa. multi-purpose conference rule. I was really lighting conscious. Each floor and an aquarium.
Starting point is 00:39:21 Unbelievable. One block at a time. The man loves interior design. It is crazy. That's me again, yeah. By the way, is that... Is that all the Jim Rohn exists for anymore? Just the clip?
Starting point is 00:39:36 Yeah, just like the three-second clip. He didn't look normal. What was... He still... He still is. I think. How old do you think he is, Brandon? He's got to be...
Starting point is 00:39:47 59. Yeah, good Jim. Go great, man. 65. Like, if you told me Jim Rome doesn't do a show anymore, but he goes into the studio every day and just does like... Yeah. It's like, they give him a sheet, and they're like,
Starting point is 00:39:59 hey, here's your 45 lines. We're going to get it out there. Like, yeah, that makes sense. What a gig. Yeah. It's all I ever see him in. What was he ever... It used to be on...
Starting point is 00:40:10 It was all CBS Sports Radio. Yeah. The jungle. Teabobobob is co-host? Like, before? Barstow? Oh, Tebow did some stuff with him. Tebow did an hour, like, after or something.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Yeah. Huh. He's 61. Okay. Teabot looks good. I guess if you're that, if you're Jim Roman, it's like they keep paying, you just keep doing it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Who the fuck cares? Do you still beat your wife, David Stern? That's what he said. Did he? Right? Yeah. Not him? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:40:40 Chris Everett? Chris Everett's an all-time clip. Can we play that? No, David Stern said that to him. Yes. That's what it was. He was asking, like, antagonist. antagonistic questions.
Starting point is 00:40:48 And David Stern was like, Jim, do you still beat your wife? See how hard these questions could be? Yeah, that's what it was. I missed her ever. Was that in reference to an incident? No, he was saying basically, you're asking questions I can't answer. Like, how do you answer? Do you still beat your wife? That's an extreme example. Yeah, you can't answer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:08 Yes or no, you're kind of fucked. Stern. I bet you won't call me Chris again. Oh, the best. Chris. The best. What a... Jim, good to have you on the show.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Good to be here, Jim, thank you. Check that. Chris Everett, good to have you on the show. You know what? You've been calling me that for about the last five years. About two years, actually, Chris. Well, hey, you know what, let me say one thing. In that game, how many sacks did you have?
Starting point is 00:41:34 That we came back in one. How many sacks did you have? Yeah, how many sacks? Let's see, but this was back in 1989. You may have even been Jim Everett back there, but somewhere along the way, Jim, you cease being Jim and you became Chris. Well, let me tell you a little secret. This asswhippin was born.
Starting point is 00:41:47 You know, we're sitting here right now, and if you guys want to take a station break, you can. But if you call me, Chris Everett, to my face, one more time. I already did it twice. You better, you call it one more time. We better take a station break. Well, it's a five-minute segment. Our five-segment show. We've got a long way to go.
Starting point is 00:42:01 We do. We've got a long way to go. We do. I'll get a couple segments out of here before. Well, it's good to see you, though. Well, it's good to see you, too. You've been talking like this behind my back for a long time. But now I said it right here.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Right, exactly. Well, we've got no problems then. I think that you probably won't say it again. I bet I do. Okay. Chris? Real? This is real?
Starting point is 00:42:22 Yeah. Oh, my God. He went down easy. Continued with the show minus Everett. For his part, Everett apologized, saying the frustrations of his time in Los Angeles came to a head with a repeated taunts of his post. I think he was warranted. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Like, derogatory about Chris. Chris Everett. Female tennis player. Yeah, female tennis player. Chris Everett. Yeah. So he was saying, like, you play football. Like a chick, yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Those are fighting words. That's back when sports media, you could just say that. Yeah, he's called her a woman's name. Just called him a chick. That was the discourse. Like a successful chick? Very successful. Very successful.
Starting point is 00:42:59 The most successful chick, the worst quarterback of the NFL. Yeah. Oh, he was a unsuccessful quarter. Correct. He was okay. Yeah. He had a couple of years with the rain. So funny.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Bet I will. Chris. I fell down a rabbit hole of the 2004 49ers, like, harassment internal training video. It kind of got swept under the rug. I watched the whole thing. Naturally. I was doing that this weekend. And it is, like, super racy and offensive.
Starting point is 00:43:30 Whoa. And they showed it to the 49ers team. It was, like, a lot of, like, stereotypes and, like, voices. And it was in 2004. It's unbelievable. Was it in response to something controversial? It was an internal video that leaked that they trained. the players with for like PR and stuff.
Starting point is 00:43:47 Holy shit. Can you find it on YouTube? Like were you going to watch the whole thing? I watched the full thing. It's worth a watch. I went down a Brown's rabbit hole. Yeah. The one way of them in front of the Chinese restaurant isn't funny.
Starting point is 00:43:59 Oh no. Oh no? What? They made the players watch all this? They made the players watch all of it. She's like training them against sexual harassment. The PR director got fired. I was reading all about it.
Starting point is 00:44:10 But it kind of just got brushed under the rug. Hold, let me do an ad real quick. Roeback. college football season is here, which means Roeback's Game Day collection is fresh with new designs and schools, almost 80 schools total with new designs and products. The best part is everything is custom designed for your school, print polos

This isn't just slapping a logo on. This is custom design for your school. As James Winston-W-W-W-S-W-W-S-W-W-C-K we wear Ro-B-B-B-S-W-W-E-W-C-K, so before your team loses and your season's over by week four. Take a look because it's going quick.

Starting point is 00:44:59 Who plays the mayor in the video? Oh, no. It's long. It's worth to watch now. Role players? Yeah, it was crazy. Holy shit. Huh.
Starting point is 00:45:08 Yeah. Kyle, congrats on Efton. Yeah. You bet them? Well, yeah. We all text, Kyle. I should sacrifice a pound of flesh for my greed. It's never just afton Chisholm at any time.
Starting point is 00:45:21 It's always parlayed with Dejante Western or Efton twice. You have to be first. But I'm glad he got one. What a catch. Right. What a moment. For the win. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:38 Incredible. That's how good somebody of the status of Efton Chisholm the third is. It's how hard the NFL is. And C.D. Deuce called him a practice player. I saw that. He was never on the practice squad. C.D. D.C. He's always going to be like that.
Starting point is 00:45:56 I can love the name. Efton Chishol. Sounds like equal parts regal, but also lewd. Yeah. So we got to. It's a chivalrous orgasm. It's like noble but trash. You first, my lady.
Starting point is 00:46:10 After you. Is that guy doing it? Um, doing some work, it looks like. Huh. Huh. Oh, by the way, we got to add a special guest. Let's do that. So Vicky is here from the Cubs. Is she in the gambling cave?
Starting point is 00:46:29 Vicki, get over here. Get on in here. Oh, Vicki's here. She sells a 50-50 raffle ticket. She's the best. Yeah, tight as you know her. Yeah. It's brought to you by payday.
Starting point is 00:46:39 They're doing an awesome thing. You've seen them. I think Eddie did a video with Rizzo. So the real magic of baseball is built on hustle, the sweat, grind, and grit of the people who show up first and leave last. Groundkeepers, bat boys, longtime stadium crews. These are the true MVP's, and Payday is here to celebrate. So Payday is on the hunt to find the three hardworking heroes and give them the recognition and trip. They've always deserved.
Starting point is 00:47:05 Shout out to your low-key legend tag at Payday underscore bar on IG. Give props to the hashtag low-key legends. from your ballpark. Starting point is 00:47:35 Yeah, pull that closer. All right. So you're an unsung hero. I mean, you're also my favorite. You and Renee. You guys are the absolute best. You're grinding out. How many games did you work this year?
Starting point is 00:47:47 Between 50 and 60. I know. It's a lot. It was fun. That is a lot. Damn. And how many winners did you sell this year? Only one.
Starting point is 00:47:56 That's got to be. I know. When you do? Well, it's just fun to know you did. Yeah. It's very rarely meet the people who've won. I know that my machine number was a winning number. Yep.
Starting point is 00:48:09 Yeah, that's how it works. And you're the best. You always come to my seat and make sure that, do you know in the back of your head you're like if you look at my seat you're like I got at least like two three hundred in sales no problem oh sure yeah yeah you're easy you're good yeah you're a big support do you let you let everyone else know they're like oh he's here today go and get because you guys will just come come blitz me and I'll just keep going oh that's well maybe we'll maybe we'll start doing that if it's a slow day do you go back to double dip got it asked me to come yeah oh really that come back after the fourth and maybe
Starting point is 00:48:40 again after the seven so yeah absolutely right how many events are there? Usually we have maybe 15 of us during a game and we're stationed throughout the ballpark so in different areas. And I always know where to find you guys. David's my other guy. I love him too. Oh, yeah, he's great.
Starting point is 00:48:58 He also does socks. Oh, he does? He does a couple dips? Yeah. So. You have three guys? Yeah. Oh, I got more than that.
Starting point is 00:49:04 Okay. There's some bleacher people that don't come into the regular seats. But yeah, Vicki, Renee and David, bang, bang. And there's one other woman that I think always, she's a little smaller, but she comes, I can't remember her name. Tammy's got like yellow hair. Yeah, maybe it's Tammy. Yeah, so, yeah, lots of them. Yep, I got it.
Starting point is 00:49:28 So all of them. Yes, I do. Here they are. My team. Oh, there we go. All right. Let me shout out to my team. All right.
Starting point is 00:49:34 All right. Yes, and here's all their names. So, yep, got it. Because we're a team. That's what makes it fun. It's going to be all of them. How long have you been doing? doing that for uh since uh 2018 okay so um that was my first uh rookie year there so that was nice

Shout out payday. Where are some of your most memorable clients, aside from Big Cat? Oh, well, I did sell a ticket last year to Connor Bedard. Oh, that was cool. Is he a big spender?
Starting point is 00:50:24 He just got one too cheap. He just bought like one $200 ticket. Okay. Five. But, oh, no, he was good. So cute, great blue eyes. It was really fun to see him. So that was good.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Yeah, that was cool. Dan, what's the most money you've ever spent at a game on this stuff on these tickets? you ever spent 500 a thousand yeah more okay do you know
Starting point is 00:50:46 I don't know the most he's ever spent I've known yeah but 500 it's a very ridiculous yeah
Starting point is 00:50:52 I'm just asking trying to get where the I don't know like I couple three $3,000 yeah
Starting point is 00:51:01 okay I tried to that was when I was trying to win really bad and this time you were just you were just
Starting point is 00:51:07 doing it just to do it right the second time you won yeah I know you won the playoff game and then you won again this year. That was probably like 500.
Starting point is 00:51:15 That's usually the base line. Are there patterns like every time the team is up by a bunch, you're selling way more tickets? Oh, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. We really love it when the Cubs, you know, take the lead in the first inning. Yeah. Sales are up, so that's good.
Starting point is 00:51:28 And it helps when it's nice weather. Yeah. So that really makes a difference as well. And some of the traveling teams are very good at, you know, they like to buy 50-50. So when the Dodgers come, they're good. They buy a lot. The Red Sox buy a lot.
Starting point is 00:51:43 What visiting teams are spend thrills? Who's how to get it up? You are the cheap skates. I don't really know that anything is outstanding with it. And it depends on that. So almost all the teams do have 50-50, so they are familiar with it. Because my husband and I have tried to go to all the baseball stadiums that, you know, when the Cubs are playing. So we've been a 29 so far.
Starting point is 00:52:06 We've got one left to go. Which one? We still haven't gone to Philly. We're waiting now. It's like, okay, that'll be next year. We'll do that. How crazy is the Milwaukee 50-50? You've seen that, right?
Starting point is 00:52:17 Yeah. They do the old school. Yeah, it's like you're in an elementary school cakewalk. It's great. You know, with the tickets. Yeah, there are two bucks a piece. Yeah. So wait, if you spent 3,000 on it.
Starting point is 00:52:28 When we went to Game 5 last year, the vendor basically sat with us for like two in it. Yeah. Just ripping tickets. Yeah. They're on the, they really literally literally. are on the big like that. So, yeah, they do it different. They do it different everywhere, but
Starting point is 00:52:46 it's been fun. I always go when we go see another team in another city, I'll go and find the 50-50 and tell them that I sell it and will happen. I love that. Respect. Yeah. Yeah. And share it with the team, you know, what they do there and what we do. So that's
Starting point is 00:53:02 fun. Do you scream? Do you have like a catchphrase or a calling card? Well, I mean, I do yell 50-50. A lot of times I'll say raffle raffle 50-50. Let's go. Yeah. Have you gotten louder over the years? Were you more meek like your first your rookie year? Or did you go out there screaming? No, I'm not meek by nature. Yeah. But I guess I've gotten more confident over the years. So that works out. Your husband has tickets in the bleachers, right? Yeah. He wears the orange so you can see him. I always thought
Starting point is 00:53:36 that was so cute when you told me that. Yeah. Our son gave him that for Christmas one year, one bright orange one and one lime green one with the Cubs logo on it so that we could find him. Yeah. And they were watching the game. That's awesome. Yeah, so he does that. Yeah, he likes the right field bleachers. That's great.
Starting point is 00:53:51 That's where he's at. I love it. How'd you get into this? Well, funny, we first retired in 2017, and we have a condo up here in Chicago. And so we thought, well, you know, now we'll get to go to the games. And we actually, I won the 50-50 as well. Oh, wow. Oh, that's, that's, that's, before you started selling it.
Starting point is 00:54:11 Yeah, before, I can't win it now. Yeah. Yeah, so we won the 50-50 in August of 2017. I think the jackpot was pretty nice. It was $28,000. Wow. $14,000 win. We were just so excited.
Starting point is 00:54:25 It was amazing. And then I thought, well, you know, maybe next year I could, you know, work here and do that. And so applied and got the job. And so that's how I got started with it. So that was pretty cool. It should be a prerequisite to win. Yeah. You know how we're only understand.
Starting point is 00:54:42 Yeah, nobody else that I've worked with has won it before. And do you get to greet the winners after? No, we don't know who they are. You never get to even see them. Well, one time I sold, I think last year the winning ticket to an opening day. And it was a guy and three of his friends had bought the tickets together. And it was a big check. So it was a big check presentation because it was a, I think like an almost $80,000 jackpot for one day,
Starting point is 00:55:08 which was pretty nice. And you're the one who sold it. Yes. Did they give you a cut ever? No, no, it's not like the lottery. So we get, you know, we get nice, you know, regular hourly wage. And they do take really good care of us. They really are really neat with that.
Starting point is 00:55:22 We have mid-season parties for the employees and end of season. And it's a great place. So all good that way. I'm sorry. Yeah, I was, you guys invited me to your post-season party. I was busy that day, but that was sounded, I got to get to one. I got to get to one. Next year.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Next year. That'll be fun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:37 We wanted to buy you guys a drink, so that would have been good. No, you guys are the best. The check does have to get bigger, though. Yes. Did you see I brought my own last time? No, I didn't know. Yeah, I brought my own big check. Oh, geez.
Starting point is 00:55:48 It was like three times of size of the one they had. That's better. Yeah. And if I ever win it again, I'm going to bring you a bigger one. You will. Keep buying tickets, you'll win again. That's hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Good. Well, she's damn. She's really good. Yeah. Biggie, you're the best. Thank you so much for coming by. You're very welcome. You're a true low-key legend.
Starting point is 00:56:05 Oh, thank you so much. Day Day Day is awesome for doing this, shining some light on the people that make the, make baseball go, you know? It's on heroes. Round screw, you know, right. Thank you. Thank you so much for coming in. Thanks. Thanks for having me.

Starting point is 00:57:28 especially scary we're talking about a couple fake plague scares and you throw Russian in front of the plague it really like Russian in front of it doesn't This adjective is never... Yeah. Never what you want to hear. We're a Russian dressing.
Starting point is 00:57:40 I'm going to ignore this. You ignoring this one? We ignored COVID. Yeah. Yeah, I know. No, we mocked COVID. We mocked it. So I'm not going to mock.
Starting point is 00:57:48 Okay. We're going to ignore. Ignore. But what if... No. It's so easy to ignore these things. Okay. It really is.
Starting point is 00:57:58 It doesn't exist. Yeah. I forgot about it. I ignore so much shit. Mm-hmm. I do too. Like, tumors. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:08 Yeah. All right. I'm out. I was going to be worried. That's kind of an exception. Are you all right? Things are fine. You got lumps?
Starting point is 00:58:19 Yeah, I've had lumps. Illignant lumps? I don't know. Yeah, like the plague. Just ignore everything that's going wrong with our body. Yeah. Russian is one of the worst adjectives. You don't hear what...
Starting point is 00:58:31 Blake is bad on its own. In what world is Russian a good adjective? Ballerina. Vodkin ballerina. Oh, yeah. That's it. That's it. That's it.
Starting point is 00:58:40 It really is it. Bathhouse. That's good. That's good. Yeah. Novel even. Hockey player can be good. That's good.
Starting point is 00:58:51 Yeah. They might have some stuff. Maybe Russia. Yeah. Their bears are fun. They're always freaking. They're like driving cars. A penguin.
Starting point is 00:58:58 A Pittsburgh penguin. His dad just got killed by a bear and fishing in Russia. His dad. But he handled it like. Cool. Well? Yeah. He did like his first interview.
Starting point is 00:59:07 He's like, yeah. My dad fought it for an hour and a half, but That's a good fight. That's really fuck. Damn. That guy went out, went out of a letter. Some point, aren't you like, hey, I'm just going to walk away? Uncle.
Starting point is 00:59:18 Yeah. I don't think the bear's going to recognize your surrender, though, right? Yeah, probably not. You hold back there. The bear's just like, oh, it's cool. Russian's the worst adjective, I think. Hour and a half. That's what I said.
Starting point is 00:59:31 It's like, yeah, they're in the water, fought for an hour and a half. Like, like a lollipop? I don't know. I don't know. 90 minutes of fighting with a bear. That's crazy. A Russian grizzly bear. Do bears eat people?
Starting point is 00:59:45 Yeah. Like after they kill them or is it just like a... I think they kill them. No, I think they eat them. Really? I think that's what happened to that. Was it a food situation or... That documentary guy.
Starting point is 00:59:57 We're not really top of the menu. But I don't know if they'll eat, they'll attack. But if they take 90 minutes to kill us by the end, these tires, He's got to have an appetite. They don't even want to eat us. We're not good to eat, though. We don't have a ton of fat on us, right? He doesn't have to eat us, right? They'll do it.
Starting point is 01:00:16 Yeah. We're like a chicken parmint anthony's. Yeah. But we're not like a big-ticket menu item in the animal community. Do tigers like us? Once they get a taste for human, they have to put it down? They're man-hunters.
Starting point is 01:00:27 I thought we were little decent. I feel like sharks will just do it just because they're pissed off. Who loves it? Sharks will just do it just because they're pissed off. Sharks will take a bite me like, not for me. Yeah, sharks are like, ah. Orcas won't eat us. We don't need anything.
Starting point is 01:00:41 They won't eat us. Yep. That's what they say. God. Zero recorded, known. Alligators will take it. Human attacks by orcas. They'll take it.
Starting point is 01:00:50 Alligators weed anything. You'd think sharks would, too. I heard that about cheetahs, too. A cheetahs never killed a human. She don't want to kill us. Cheetahs are like dogs, right? Cats. The cats.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Well, no, but they like, don't they put like golden retrievers in the enclosures to, like, to, like, hang out. than Jersey. They're always just curl it up together. Hmm. A hippo killer. What animal likes the taste of man? I think it's tigers, polar bears, those are like the man. All the bears like us. Polar bears love us.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Really? Yeah. We're not up there with them much. Pigs? Pigs will eat babies. Rice or mice and rats? Mice, yeah. Rats will eat us, right? Rats would eat us. Don't cats eat you? Cat'll eat you. Cat will eat you. A little dragon. Oh, that's a problem.
Starting point is 01:01:32 Polar bears. Polar bears. Yeah. Snakes aren't in it for the taste. Yeah, see, polar bears are more like the-hina. That makes sense. A hyena will get you? They'll eat anything. They'll eat it. Yeah, they'll rip it apart.
Starting point is 01:01:42 Vultures would take anything. Vultures, yeah. But when it comes, I mean, we'll eat them back. We'll eat almost all those. I won't eat hyena. I'm not going to eat a muller. I'm not going to eat a polar bear. Boy, I'd eat a polar bear.
Starting point is 01:01:53 Yeah. I try it. Look at a polar bear. You have to try it. That looks so good. It does. What if that becomes your favorite food, though? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:05 I guess people probably have. I've eaten polar bear. I'm sure they've eaten polar bear. If they're in a situation where polar bear on a menu. Restaurant should put polar bears on a menu just to see if you're a monster. Yeah, Chris Anson comes out. He's like, I see you ordered the polar bear. You ordered a polar bear, huh?
Starting point is 01:02:20 What's the market price on polar bear? You kind of think we've tried everything. Nobody's brave enough. Yeah, I think we've tried everything. Like, somebody in South America's tried penguin. For sure. Oh, yeah. I feel like the native populations of these areas are.
Starting point is 01:02:31 I'd be shocked if penguin wasn't delicious. Penguin looks. Yeah, it's got to be. It looks like a macaroni penguin. Slice it sideways. Just kill the penguin and start. Yeah, like a slice of bread. Does anybody want to slice a penguin?
Starting point is 01:02:44 Is it cake? Every penguin is a cake. They just discovered a new species of penguin. What? They're always discovered. Why are you mad about that? I don't know. I'd like to see it.
Starting point is 01:02:56 We don't hang out with penguins enough to know all the species. They can't be pissing you all. They're not hearing about that too old. New penguin. They're fucking always advancing science. Oh, come on. I don't fucking name you. So sick of it.
Starting point is 01:03:06 Day ruined. I know that one and that's it. What is that one? That's a new one. It's a Gen 2, 2, Penguins. He said it like he's, said it like it's Avenger's movies. Another day. I got to go back to the fucking theater.
Starting point is 01:03:19 I got to see how the story continue. Another day, another penguin. Did you think penguins notice other birds and they're like, what the fuck? Yeah, definitely. I mean. Chickens do. Definitely. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:29 Chickens do? I think chickens do. And ostriches. Yeah. Although ostriches probably think they're bad motherfuckersers. They got a little attitude to me. don't they? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Like, they got long necks. They're stupid. Practically flying. They're stupid. Austrages are stupid. What are the smart? Emus? Crows are smart.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Crows are smart. Crows, ravens. Emus beat Australia in a war recently. What? In like the 50s, they were gunning them down with machine guns. Australia lost. They like gave up. They're like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:58 Wow. Yeah. Wait, emus don't have. What? I need to look into the emu, Australia, war. Yeah. Yeah. Gunning them down.
Starting point is 01:04:09 I guess they're hassling all the little. Eamoo war. Nuisance wildlife, man. We could just go ahead and call that the Great Eamu War. I'm tempted to call emos. Damn to call Emoos. We had an emu in Clay County for 20 years. They didn't even kill 1,000.
Starting point is 01:04:28 Damn. Did we lose any guys? I hope one or two. Didn't work. They were scary. He was a pet that got out and just wandered from farm to farm for two decades. We used to have people. Peacocks that roamed around our neighborhood.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Oh. Just walking around. Peacocks are always a disappointing bird at the farm because they never show you the feathers. Never cock. Yeah. Oh. You want to see it. Willie Colon had two peacocks.
Starting point is 01:04:56 Did he? Yeah, in his backyard. Whoa. Uh-huh. They're like Zulus when even Dumb Dumb Bullets could not stop. What does that sense? Oh, the Zulus. Yeah, they're impervious to Dumb Dumb Bullets.
Starting point is 01:05:12 Yeah, you always, is a Zulu impervious to a Dumb Dumb? It's like it does a bear shit in the woods. What did that mean? Isn't that a tribe of people? That is. You can't kill them with machine guns? Who tried? Can't be done.
Starting point is 01:05:30 Second attempt and then they quit. Damn. Well, that was a fun little animal diversion. It was nice. I don't even know how that started. There got to be some guys still fighting that war, though. Yeah. They never got told.
Starting point is 01:05:50 Or at least have emotional scars from it. Yeah. It's off an island. I've been families ripped apart. Bow and down me, emos, whenever they see. Doug. I see emu's in their sleep. What?
Starting point is 01:06:00 Doug. What about Doug? What about Doug? Oh. Oh, you meant our dog. What about the kangaroos situation in Australia? Oh, that'll fuck you up. I'd fuck up a kangaroo.
Starting point is 01:06:12 Let's say you got a little land. You wouldn't. 20 acres behind your house. Yeah. And you're just back there and you're looking for a place to put a pool and you're you and a contractor looking on the ground you think we put it there put it and all of a sudden a kangaroo comes up are you in danger are they gonna come no uh no no they they just punch on their tails and then like yeah they'll fucking slapbox they they claw you
Starting point is 01:06:35 i think is the fear whatever now then they'll hop and yeah they'll kick you with their legs yeah you just grab their feet i don't think you could do that i think they have powerful legs that you're not going to be able to grab remember that guy that uh had his dog taken yeah yeah right up with him spread it up and fucking yeah yeah knocked them in the face. Yeah. Oh, that's what you got a fear is they'll cut you open with one of those.
Starting point is 01:06:55 Yeah. I don't mean this in a sexual way, but I think there are some animals that are kind of hot and beautiful for the guys and girls. I think a big buck is kind of hot and a lady deer with her eyelashes. I think kangaroos can be kind of hot.
Starting point is 01:07:09 And horses. I don't mean that in a sexual way. I'm saying there's other animals. I don't look at like a girl. I'm not looking at a fair. and I'm like, that's hot, but I'm like, look at that buck. That's not in a hot nut. Beautiful.
Starting point is 01:07:23 I've never been like, whoa, but I'm like, wow. How about horses? Handsome, I guess I would say. Horses can be handsome. Yes. And I think, like, lady horses can be really beautiful. I think White Sox Dave got skewered for this same take in the opposite direction. This was an allah.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Oh, yeah. You guys are a perfect couple. You guys are, oh, my God. I have a question about fighting animals. is there an animal where if you kick it in the groin it hurts like a human? I would assume if you kick the dog in the nuts. I think if you hit anything in the nuts. Yeah, remember we saw the bear get hitting the ball?
Starting point is 01:07:58 Oh, yeah. That's on clip. Yeah. What did he, was it a clothesline? What did he hit himself with? Yeah, it was a clothesline, I think. Or maybe a tether ball? Yeah, something like that.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Yeah, is there anything? Yeah, here we go. A bungee cord. Where's the core that gets in? Oh, he's scratching his back. Really? That's some good scratching. Oh, such a bad nut tap.
Starting point is 01:08:45 Oh. Brutal. Yeah, but is there any, like, if you get attacked by a tiger, punch the balls? They never say that. No. Maybe they should. Hit its balls. It would just be so hard to punch a tiger's balls.
Starting point is 01:09:03 Maybe that should be the tip. You think so? Well, yeah, the tiger's going to attack you from the front. How are you going to get back there to get to the balls? It's your best hope if the tiger rears up and, like, is about to do this, and then you just kick it. Just kick it's balls. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 01:09:20 Like an elephant's balls? Because you get, you're not going to be able to do anything with those things. Is a Zulu impervious to dump up to us? I couldn't wait to use it. Yeah. We're lucky. Our balls don't get hit too often. Oh, they're a good, you know.
Starting point is 01:09:38 They're a good. open for some type of... They might be in a bad spot. Exactly. Where would they be? We're very lucky. We got the lowest hanging balls. Our shits are low hanging.
Starting point is 01:09:47 A lot of those. They're out in the open. They got them tight. Yeah, they got a real tight. They're real tight close to the body. But ours, our shit just fucking hangs. But if you could move your balls, where would you want them? Back of your back.
Starting point is 01:09:59 I mean, I like, where they're at. I just want them like tighter. You like back your knee? Yeah. No, because you back the thigh. Maybe back your thigh, yeah. What about running, though? I feel like under your armpit.
Starting point is 01:10:08 Behind your neck? Yeah. Behind your neck, I think. Like the top of your head. In a locket key. A little case that you carry around. What if we had to carry our balls in a cage? If they were detachable, that would help the most.
Starting point is 01:10:21 Detestable. Yeah, but I'd lose them. Yeah. You just show up and everyone's like, did you forget your balls today? It seemed like a little bit of a little bit of a little. I did, yes. Fuck, I forgot to put them on. Where are my balls?
Starting point is 01:10:38 Oh, man. Remember that ump thing I hit in the balls three times Yeah, that was great That was really great Was that recent? This year That was this year, yeah By the way, did you see your boy?
Starting point is 01:10:52 Sal Freelick Got engaged No, the win they had yesterday And so they won Did you see he was he figured out there Tipping pitches? He might have been the reason they won What did he figure out?
Starting point is 01:11:07 They figured out Mason Miller the way he was holding his glove. Fastball or off speed. Oh, that's why they got him? Sal Freelick. Oh, wow. I retreated a bit. Watch Sal Freelick in this.
Starting point is 01:11:18 So this is a fastball. He does nothing. Okay. And so it's a one-two count. This is with two outs, I believe. So it's like, this is the pressure moment. Bottom of the ninth, base loaded, down one. So he tells him sliders coming.
Starting point is 01:11:32 So he tells him sliders coming. He's seen Jackson Shurio stays off. Watch him go to his neck. He's looking at him. There you go. That's it. And the guy noticed? Yeah, he noticed, and he stayed up, he laid off it.
Starting point is 01:11:46 And then the next one was a hit. Baseball's so cool. It is. He just like, that's a badass move. Espionage level decoding. Yeah. It's just all like the angle he's holding his glove. A slider, by the way.
Starting point is 01:11:58 It looked like it was close to the zone, too. Oh, yeah. I mean, that's something you, it's hard to stay to take that pitch with one-two count. Speaking of Jake, Jake, Jake Megan got engaged this week. Yeah. Oh, really? A friend of the show, speaking of baseball players. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:13 There you go. Starkville? He got engaged Thursday. Before the game, hopefully. Yeah. Thursday, yeah. Although I did, I was sitting in the field, ready to leave. It was 4923, and I was like, we should leave.
Starting point is 01:12:28 And they said, no, it's going to look bad if you leave. I'm like, all right, I'll just sit here at the end. And whenever it gets really out of hand, we'll just sneak out. And I look up, and at 4923, somebody, I don't know his name, I don't, I haven't heard anything. I hear a cheer in the crowd. And I look up about 30 rows up, and a. a dude is on a knee proposing to his girl. Oh.
Starting point is 01:12:47 And I don't know who it is. And God bless you. If you're watching the show, if you're a fan of us, I don't know. I could just tell from, I was 50 yards away and I could just see what was happening. He stood up. They hugged and everybody applauded. He proposed during a 49-23 ass weapon. He had no plan B.
Starting point is 01:13:02 He had no plan. Plan A was like, we're going to beat Bama going into the fourth quarter. We're going to be up by two touchdowns. You got to wait for a game that's a guarantee. Or you just do it early when it's close, right? You do it at the beginning? I don't know if you wait till the fourth quarter. It was also hot as balls.
Starting point is 01:13:17 Like, it was miserable place to be. It had already cleaned out a little bit, and he proposed. Do you guys know anybody that was a Jumbotron proposal? I don't know any Jumbotron proposals. I witnessed one at an A's game. Oh, I've seen them. It was like right in front of us. I wonder what the success rate is.
Starting point is 01:13:34 I was at a Hawks game when Gucci Main proposed to his girlfriend. Wow. That's beautiful, man. Yeah. I don't know if they got married. Ian Johnson's the best. best sports proposal, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:46 Well, what did he do? But it was ruined by Chris Myers. That's right. Chris Myers ruined it. Yeah. That's the one. After Boise State, Oklahoma in 2006 or seven, right.
Starting point is 01:13:54 The guy that scored the winning two-point conversion proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend on the field. Classic. What a dream. And then it got ruined? Well, the reporter, they sent it down to Chris Myers and Chris said, all right, I'm down here with Ian Johnson. And Ian, I understand you have a proposal for your girlfriend?
Starting point is 01:14:10 What? Yeah. Yeah. And her eyes are like, what? Yeah. And what if he had changed his mind and he decided he didn't want to propose? Well, he jumped right down on a knee, but Chris Myers absolutely gave it away when he did it. I think it was Chris Myers.
Starting point is 01:14:27 I think we wrote a proposal. Did you? He wrote one? We ruined one. All of us. It was the bald stool duck guy that he was about to propose. He didn't know that he was being aired. He bumped into him at a bar.
Starting point is 01:14:38 He was like, yeah. That's the worst. You fucked that up. By the way, the Boise. player worst time to propose. Why? Don't do it after that. I thought that was great.
Starting point is 01:14:47 That was the best proposal of all time. That was a legendary. No. That was iconic. What's wrong with that? That's maybe the most memorable games of all times. I'm not sure I could disagree. It's like having your birthday on Christmas.
Starting point is 01:14:59 You separate the two. The proposal sex was going to be awesome. The post I beat Oklahoma sex was going to be awesome. Put them together. No, you just combined him. You missed out. He lost out on one sack. Well, he lost out on an incredible sex.
Starting point is 01:15:13 Yeah. No, he's the level of sex That he'll ever experience Yeah, I think so He was gonna have insane sex after beating Oklahoma You do it after you lose Yeah, yeah No, I think it's one of the most memorable things of all time
Starting point is 01:15:27 But he could have had two memorable sexes No, are they still together You have one mega-sex No, you guys split up those sexes Ian Johnson I think they're still married Is one mega sex not better than two No, I don't because I don't think
Starting point is 01:15:40 I'm a bonadie guy They're both 90 seconds, so. I've never had megasics. But 90 seconds of mega sex? Mega sex is fun. None of us in this room have ever experienced. Megasex. I think you get megasex for beating Oklahoma.
Starting point is 01:15:54 Then it's double mega sex. No, you got to split up your megasex. I mean, he's got it. I mean, what got it? I'm a team mega sex here. Yeah, I, what can she do differently? Right. I bounce on it harder.
Starting point is 01:16:07 Yeah. Yeah, she could. he was going to have double megasex and he just was like let's mash him no it was it was it was oklahoma plus proposal that makes it megasic oh he was going to get the megasex for beating oklahoma that was an incredible upset he like never lost a game in college you have megasex no but that was going to be mega sex that was the biggest winning program history but proposal plus oklahoma plus propose a week later then you double up on the megasex uh you're taking away two great days right but combining it's one his birthday on christmas
Starting point is 01:16:43 they'll talk about that sex they'll talk about Ian Johnson's sex forever can we get him on how was it speaking of which I did it spent 20 years we should ask him about it
Starting point is 01:16:55 yeah he'd probably talk about it by now I think they are still together right you regret nothing putting up the mega sex they were as of a few years ago I felt like someone did a
Starting point is 01:17:04 where are they now on on that couple female perspective please I'm kind of agreeing with the mega sex yeah I feel like Mega sex. He had the best night of his life, and then he's thinking of me right away after?
Starting point is 01:17:17 Oh, that's mega sex. Wow. You're getting. Yeah? Inger in your butt. That's something. Nice. Still together, 18 years later.
Starting point is 01:17:29 Oh, that's cute. He's probably staying with her because he's like, you still owe me one more me mega sex. I'm not leaving you until I get to the Vegas sex. I got to figure out how to have mega sex. Win a fucking bowl game. I don't think it's ever going to have. happen. Yeah. Bring home your Chili's
Starting point is 01:17:47 three for me. Tampal. A trophy. Babe. Babe. Mega sex tonight. I mean, you're already married. Yeah. So, mega sex is off the table. Yeah, it's probably gone.
Starting point is 01:18:02 Fuck. You might have to re- Fuck. Although. Is that why people do their, redo their vows for mega-sex? Yes. I think so. Oh, that could be. That's exactly. A vow or no one could be
Starting point is 01:18:15 mega-sex. Yeah. A second marriage. Like you make more money the second time around? You get bigger ring. A bigger ring. Destination wedding, mega sex. I'm going to have my wife lose her ring. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:26 Like she accidentally, we go on vacation. I steal it, throw it in the ocean. She loses her ring. I buy her a new one. And I fuck her. So hard. And then I fuck. Just thinking through that plan.
Starting point is 01:18:42 Just get to the fucking. Yeah. Starting point is 01:20:17 I think we should wait for Brandon and Titus to come back so we can talk about other things. Then I have a question for you. Interesting. How about Herbert? Yeah, I mean, the team blows. Oh, it's the team. He's going to be a steeler. Yeah, I mean, I've long said that, like, if he gets traded tomorrow, I don't give a fuck about the Chargers.
Starting point is 01:20:38 Right. I don't care. But, yeah, it looks like shit. Bad. He's bad. What about Virginia? All so bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:50 Everything sucks now. Oh, no. It's great. No, it's awesome. Football's sick. What's a good thing happening in your life? All right. I got a question.
Starting point is 01:21:05 What's up? Well, Ty's is back now. I get a question for you, Malasek. I heard something over the weekend. All right. Did you attend a black, tie wedding in a tan
Starting point is 01:21:18 suit. No. Okay, so then see ya. Why would Big Cat believe that? Why would I believe that? That's a weird thing to just. I went to a black tie optional wedding in a tan suit. Okay. It said optional. Optional. You know
Starting point is 01:21:34 that means like that means tucks or a black suit. So that was my second wedding ever. And I went to the wedding of my buddies this weekend. And, and And, yeah, black tie optional. I figured it was like, all right, wear kind of whatever.
Starting point is 01:21:52 What, uh, why? How many people were in tuxes at this wedding? Uh, not, not everybody, but like a lot. Almost everybody was. The problem wasn't, the problem was not the tuxedo. The problem was that everybody was wearing dark. Yeah, right. Black tie optional.
Starting point is 01:22:08 And so you were the only one in a tan suit. Very formal dark. Yeah, I look like an asshole for sure. Was the bride upset? No, no, no, no. But it was... I heard the bride was upset. I heard the bride was upset.
Starting point is 01:22:22 Who's the leak? He was different. He made a video about it. And you yourself said the bride wanted to shoot you in the face. Oh, I didn't even know there was a video. No, no, no, no. See, this is what happens on the show. People...
Starting point is 01:22:35 I'm not even paraphrasing. Things that I do and then they make things up in their brain. Okay, let's see if I made it out. Let's watch the video. Nobody told me black tie optional meant wear a touch. Wait, why? Time out. Time out.
Starting point is 01:22:46 Why are you in Gruden? And that's not your voice. Why are you in Gruden? All right. Why are you in Gruden in this video? I said at the end of that video that you would have thought I shot the bride in the face. No, no. Why are you in Gruden?
Starting point is 01:22:59 voice. That's how I speak. Okay. All right. Go ahead. Play the video. Wear a tucks. Oh, come on.
Starting point is 01:23:07 This weekend and wore a tan suit. And you would have thought that I burned down the venue. Nobody told me that that meant just wear a tuxedo. What is his voice? like you don't really I don't know what that means black tie optional I would think optional means kind of wear whatever
Starting point is 01:23:22 it was nice out tan suit looked good but you would have thought I shot the bride in the face nobody told me black that's never been your voice no you're not not doing it now that's how I taught yeah dude black tie option
Starting point is 01:23:39 you got to wear a dark suit yeah I did well now I know how tan was the suit how tan was it like I mean so tan. This is like when Obama wore the tan suit. That was fucked up. I was going around literally saying I was Obama at the wedding. It was a problem. Was that killing?
Starting point is 01:23:56 Some people liked it. Okay. How soon did it sink in that you were sticking out? Is this what we had to talk about today? Yeah. Malice like wearing a tan suit to a black tie optional wedding? Yeah, he summed it up perfectly. How quick, answer the question. Do you forget who we are?
Starting point is 01:24:13 Answer Nick's question. Answer what was what was next How soon did you realize that you fucked up? The night before. Oh, really? Oh, and you still went with it? That's all I had to wear. You couldn't go out and get one?
Starting point is 01:24:27 Where was the wedding? I, it was in Charlottesville. I went to the welcome party Friday night in like sport coat, dark sport coat, and they were like, oh, cool, what's everyone wearing tomorrow? Like, everybody was like, oh, I have a tux, I have a tux, I have a tux. I was like, oh, fuck, I do not have a tux. I wasn't even going to wear a tie. I had to borrow a tie. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Did you take a date? You weren't going to wear a tie to a... Black tie optional. You really, you really honed in on the optional part. Yeah, we're looking to show in a optional. That means everyone's wearing a tux or black suit. Why wouldn't you say that in the invitation then? That's a nice way of saying we don't want to be dicks, but we prefer for...
Starting point is 01:25:07 Right. The pictures are going to be ruined if you wear a tan suit. I did not know that, nor was I in a lot of photos. Was there anyone else in a light suit? I was the only asshole wearing not black. You ruined the wedding. Nobody else was wearing anything but like really dark blue or black. And it was me in Obama's tan suit.
Starting point is 01:25:31 Jake, can you get us a photo, like a group photo of the night? I got to see if I can get one. Yeah, I took zero photos on my phone because I was embarrassed of being in the tan suit. But essentially, I wasn't even there. But I'll try and track. Oh, there is. Oh, my God. Oh, that's real tan.
Starting point is 01:25:51 That's so tan. Yeah, there's a little bit of a blue one there. That's so tan, dude. Blue and black and the knee in my buddy's pot. Oh, Jake. That's a good look at suit, Jake. Not even my tie. Look at this.
Starting point is 01:26:06 Tucks. Oh, my God. Talks. Oh. Oh, my God. Surrounded by friends joining together. Everyone looks so good. We are celebrating the bonding of two of our very good friends and forever matrimony.
Starting point is 01:26:19 And it really puts into perspective what things are important in life. You know? Such as? The love and marriage of my friend. This is your normal voice. Who really cares that much? That's all that matters. So congratulations, Benipage.
Starting point is 01:26:33 And I don't even really know what the final score of this game is. Oh. Oh, yeah. You knew what the final score was. Didn't you? You did? Yeah. What was the final score?
Starting point is 01:26:48 Like 36 to 7. Oh. 37. Oh, man. Not good. Not good. Okay. But yeah, Tans, too, not all right at a black tie option of wedding.
Starting point is 01:26:58 Now I know. He's changing his voice a little bit to mess the video. Yeah. Okay. Are you in Gruden's office right now? Yep. Where is he? He's been gone.
Starting point is 01:27:09 Oh. We're going to the raise game the night. Oh, hell yeah. Sounds great. Wear the tan suit. Wear the tan suit. Where the tan suit? Where the tan suit?
Starting point is 01:27:20 Come on. I'll be retiring the tan suit. The worst part about the tan suit was I didn't own any nice clothes because I the last suit I bought was like two and a half years ago in Chicago and it didn't fit because I got wider. And I went to men's warehouse to buy new clothes for this wedding and opted into buying that suit. I bought it on purpose.
Starting point is 01:27:43 You bought the tan suit? suit for this wedding? For the specific purpose of wearing it to this wedding, and I still was the idiot. Oh, man. What town was it in? Charlestville. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:56 Went back to college. You get to the grounds at all? Do you to the grounds? Yeah. Fucked around. Yeah. It was fall breaks. So the students were gone, but it was still good time.
Starting point is 01:28:06 Yeah. Ben and Page. Congratulations. It was beautiful ceremony. Okay. Good people. Thanks, Miles. Happy for him.
Starting point is 01:28:14 Great job. No problem, guys. Miss you, Jake. Thanks for calling. Well, did the wedding, are you ready to settle down? No, I was telling people I was like, it's shocking how far away I am from this for myself. Yeah. A black suit. Did they give you the option to bring a date or they knew?
Starting point is 01:28:30 No. It was basically if you were not engaged or married, you were not allowed to plus one. Yeah. Right. How the brides was big wedding? How were the prize made? What was the situation there? Yeah, were they hot?
Starting point is 01:28:39 He played lacrosse at Arizona States. There were a lot of those people there. It was fun. Oh, so they were hot. The bridesways were hot? Hot bridesmaids? Good time. Everybody was lovely.
Starting point is 01:28:48 Yeah. Very, very nice. Did you take one down? You had to have. Or groomsman. Or groomsman? Yep, either way. Jake's gay.
Starting point is 01:28:57 Ha-ha. No, that's not what I said. Your words. And, no, it was good. It was a fun wedding. I had a good time. Nice. No, you met or groomsman took down a bridesmaid and he watched.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Yeah. That's what you meant. Yeah. What the fuck, dude? Yeah. Exactly right. Fun after party. And I'm glad I was there.
Starting point is 01:29:13 Mm-hmm. Jake, before you go, the reviews of your last Stevie were pretty disappointing that you sent to the group. Can you just give us a live? What is that? It's in the gambling cave. We always just say TV!
Starting point is 01:29:35 There hasn't been a lot of TVs. Is it a minion? No, we just like to say when he gets all excited, we just go, Stevie! Oh, Steve. No reason for that this year. No, bucks stink Oh
Starting point is 01:29:49 But we hit our group parley Yeah, that's true How, what were the odds on that? Well, they were 12 to 1 And then Tate didn't hit his But Jamar Chase got hurt So he was, I sent to the group chat He was Tyrese Halliburton
Starting point is 01:30:03 With the, the gold medal Yeah He was celebrating He was like, you did nothing But it was pretty fun Yeah, good time Yeah And Dave hit his parley
Starting point is 01:30:11 Yeah, Dave didn't know He went to sleep and didn't know He tweeted out, what a joke. Yeah, and then just was gone. All right, good job, Malasek. Bye, Jake. See you guys. See you, Mr. Jake.
Starting point is 01:30:24 What do you think Jake started really fucking hating us? Oh, a while ago. I think from the start. He tolerated us while he was here. I think he's down. He never liked us, but he finally got in a position where he can reflect that feeling. He's just so, I mean, the tan suited a black tie wedding. couldn't have to do better guy
Starting point is 01:30:46 also two backs okay brides if you're wanting everyone to wear you want to be the only one in the light white right he stole that he stole her moment that's a very light suit she he they're definitely like today they're probably like oh what a great weekend
Starting point is 01:31:03 except for that one tan suit he bought the suit for this way it wasn't like it was the only thing he had I thought that's what the circumstance was I thought it was like only had one suit I didn't know what to do he went out and bought that suit. If you're somebody who owns one suit, it should be a black suit. That's exactly right, yeah. Was this a failure by Gruden and Jake's dad? Yes. All the men in his life. Damn. It's friends, too. Like, I feel like if you're going to a wedding of your friends and you had questions about what to wear,
Starting point is 01:31:30 yeah. Just be like, yo, what are you guys wearing? Yeah, that's a very common thing. Like, hey, what are you guys wearing? Google still works too. Right. Yeah. What do I wear to? Yeah. What does black tie optional mean? Like he didn't show up in a flannel in jeans. Seriously. Jay, what do you want to do to lift the boss go-kers? Oh, my God. Me and Rick are fine. No.
Starting point is 01:31:53 But your team's 0-and-4? No, no, no. What are you guys not going to do with that? Yeah, he does. We were getting our ass kicked before he bet them. No, it was week one. Yeah, we're down 11 points. Yeah, no, but you've lost every game since.
Starting point is 01:32:06 Yeah, because our team sucks. Okay. Football season's over for me. It's October 5th. Oh, no. And Steve. I got a question. TV.
Starting point is 01:32:14 What's up? Can I eat this payday? Yeah. I was thinking that too. I was wondering if I could take a little nibble. I won't this payday real bad. Yeah, some too. I'm missing a few. Speaking of football teams that suck. Brando. Why? Dolphins? 29 to 2? You do GLD? What's 29 to 2? Oh, no. Oh, don't. No. Oh, no. No. Some lines you don't cross. West Point. They got safety. I told you guys last week. I told you guys last week. We're going to 0 and 5 because we're playing the hardest schedule in the country. And then we're going to go 5 in 5 and 5.
Starting point is 01:32:51 And we're going to win the district and go back to the state championship game. That's what I told you. And that's what's going to happen. We went out of state. We played Rustin, Louisiana. They're practically the best team in the country. Lost 29 to 2. I don't know how we scored 2 points.
Starting point is 01:33:03 Well, I do know how we scored it. I don't know the circumstances. Yeah. Is Rustin that good? I don't know. We're struggling. Let's see Rustin schedule. It's a rough year.
Starting point is 01:33:10 It's a rough year. It's a first rebuilding year in 25 years. and we're, oh, were you guys up to nothing maybe? I don't fucking know. I was worried y'all saw the other part. What's the other part? T.J., do you have any proof of this? I don't know you haven't said it yet.
Starting point is 01:33:32 Okay, well, you were part of the discussion. You're like Chobrook? We drove by the stadium the other day, drove by West Point High School, and there's a sign out front of West Point High School says, enjoy the unique dynamic lighting and nowhere on it does it say the brandon walker light show there's no signage there's a sign saying enjoy these awesome lights and it does not say brandon walker at all that's not why you do it though right did it used to say brandon walker do they change the sign it's 100% why i do it danny i want all the credit i want all that i want i want the glory
Starting point is 01:34:06 but wait did it did it at one point say your name they announced it as as the brandon walker light show but they don't there's no signage around the stadium they're fixing it they're going to put some signage wait did you send a text i made a call and sent a text yeah angry call oh yeah i'll call brack cox just to see what's going on and brad cox we're going to fix it they say they forgot it's a big thing to leave out well first of all he said first he said yeah when did the two points come i don't know was it like was it like seven to two or was it like i thought they were playing friday night it was like 26 to two it wasn't 26 because it lucky it was in the second quarter how many points you get if you uh run back a two point conversion or like
Starting point is 01:34:50 i don't think you can in high school you can in high school because that would be really depressing if that was how you got your two point west punt city so that's west point high that doesn't say west punt doesn't no it west point no but we we we call it west punt yeah get your get your yeah get your giggles that's fine that was mean by check oh what hey hey there he is no way one of our our favorite yak guests in the world come on in here looks very enthusiastic about coming in here Ryan Rosillo
Starting point is 01:35:22 on the yak did we used to call you I don't know I mean you used to fuck with me a ton before we ever talked but I feel like we called you on the yak I still my favorite thing you've ever done is when you used to call
Starting point is 01:35:39 Ravel oh yeah the sports I can't remember what we just called him you were like hey it's it's dan you're like okay what's the deal with e-sports then he'd answer i just like shut up pussy hang up and then he came on he wanted to come on when you guys did because one of the guys did the clips of when you came on the radio show and then shefter like wanted to call that's when you guys were like popping yeah oh mainstream dudes are trying to get into this and then shepter came on and it kind of took over the whole thing and then
Starting point is 01:36:12 pft got really weird with revel the though. Yeah, they have a little history. There was some history there, and PFT kind of was like going at him. Yeah. So, hey, Kate. Hey, how's it going? Hey, so we're allowed to hit on coworkers. What's up?
Starting point is 01:36:25 What's up? What's happening? Yeah, what's going on? I'm over at Swiss Hotel. That could work. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that could work. A lead in line?
Starting point is 01:36:38 Boats. As two people who fuck. Oh. Mega? Like that's a mega fuck? Mega. Mega. Yeah, here, settle this debate.
Starting point is 01:36:52 We were talking about the Boise State running back against Oklahoma and the Fiesta Bowl. Remember he proposed? My contention is it's similar to having your birthday on Christmas. He was going to have awesome sex after he beat Oklahoma and then he combined it with the proposal sex. Like, come on, dude, you could have split that up. And I would argue he had mega sex. Once in a lifetime. You can tell the show's going well today.
Starting point is 01:37:18 Stars aligned for a level of sex that no man will ever experience except for him in that moment. She has something she's allergic to to make her throat tighter. You know, that kind of thing. Good to have you back, right? I do have a bone to pick. I was going to do it next time I was on your show. By the way, just as an aside, I think older people talking about younger people, what are like, you're talking all from like married perspectives.
Starting point is 01:37:43 Yeah. Like those peak rare. sexual moments. There's a pretty good chance it was going to be really good at that age. Anyway. Yeah, true. That's good point. But they're older now too. Also, Idaho college-aged kids proposing they probably were Mormon. We're not going to have sex that night at all. Yeah. I felt like it was a little PJ Fleckish at the time. I was kind of like you can't give this a day. Oh, you thought it was a little glory-seeking at the time. I'm coming back around on PJ Fleck where he's just so in your face. It's incredible.
Starting point is 01:38:14 that it's like, I think I respect the fact that he just, he wants to make everything about just him. But my thing about this one, why didn't he pour the water in the job? I don't know. And the fact that he makes his whole team crowd surf him after every win is insane. So you interviewed him, Brandon, so you're not going to say anything? No, no, I will. I would say something.
Starting point is 01:38:34 I think when he's winning and he's doing this, it's very fucking entertaining. When he's losing, it does get a little, okay, what are we doing? But smearing the blood on your face last week and then doing the, Did he taste it too? Yeah. Taste it and then the jug and he clearly had. The 90s, you'd never do that. He clearly pre-planned it.
Starting point is 01:38:51 Princess Diana would. She wasn't a friend. Yeah, that's true. Carmelone. What's the jug thing? Every game in the Big Ten has a rivalry trophy. This one's the little brown jug. It's a jug.
Starting point is 01:39:03 And what he did was he ran to his team. He had a bottle of water in this hand and he acted like he was drinking the water out of the jug. Why he didn't just pre-pour the water in the jug? I'll never know. Okay. But, and then he hands a jug to his assistant. This is it. And then he makes them all a crowd suffering.
Starting point is 01:39:23 Like most coaches will be like, you know, it's about the team. It's not about me. PJ Fleck goes so far being like, it's me. It's about me. Oh, yeah. I did that. It is me. It's not anyone else.
Starting point is 01:39:34 Yeah. And I think he's so over the top with it now that I'm coming back around. Okay. The team seems into it. Yeah. It seems like they're liking it. So what I wanted to bring up But I was I said I was gonna do it on your show
Starting point is 01:39:45 But we might as well do it now How was everybody by the way? It's doing really well, thank you for us Thanks for yeah I got a bone to pick with you guys You Kyle and Sirudy for a life advice You guys did about two months ago Okay
Starting point is 01:39:58 And you might not remember it But I couldn't have disagreed with you guys more In the moment while I was listening We're in content it happens It was a life advice about a guy writing in and he said that his, he is like 10 years older than his fiancé. And the fiancé has a couple, like maybe a brother, a sister, whatever family, and they're on a group chat.
Starting point is 01:40:25 And the younger brother, so it's like, let's say the guy is like 35, the girl is like 25, and then there's a younger brother who's like 22. The younger brother in the group chat only refers to the future brother-in-law. a pedophile. Right. And you guys were like, that's fucked up. I thought that was the funniest.
Starting point is 01:40:44 I think that's pretty funny. That guy's so fucking funny. To be like, this is my brother-in-law and I'm gonna seriously call him a pedophile. This dude's fucking your sister. It's all you have. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:40:53 He had nothing else. What was his tone? Like joking? No, I think it was kind of serious. Yeah. It's an issue. It's like, the guy wrote in being like,
Starting point is 01:41:00 what do I do? Do I talk to the dad? Like, do I pull the brother-in-law aside and be like, hey, can you stop calling me a pedophile? I think you got to just be like, that's a, funny joke. He's just calling me a pedophile. So you didn't like that we took the emailer's
Starting point is 01:41:14 side? Yeah. Accepting that he's... No, yeah, no, the younger brother has every right to do that. Every right to do that. So it's not ballbusting? It's serious? I don't know. I don't care. I think that's just funny. It's a funny move to your future brother-in-law. Be like, hey, what's up, pedophile? I agree.
Starting point is 01:41:30 That's a funny one-off. You think of it keeps happening one time? I think it gets funnier. The more you do it. Oh, yeah. He's writing on Christmas cards. Yeah, I don't... Yeah, pedophile. No, it is. That's not funny later on. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:41:44 If he's seriously going through the routine, like, I get what you're doing. I think it goes through the wall where it gets funny again. Where he's like, hey, you see that new Chris Hansen movie? Bet you liked it, pedophile. Yeah, I probably wouldn't want to be around them much. But think about when they're like 60 and 50 on him a pedophile. That's funny. That's fun.
Starting point is 01:42:01 It circles back. Yeah, right. And if he's 40. That's 30 years from now. You've got to just stay the course. Long-term storytelling. What is the two ages? It's like 30 years.
Starting point is 01:42:10 And 25 and 25. Yeah, it was 35 and 25. Then he probably is. Stuck it out. But see, I think that's the younger generation. He's just our labeling stuff in ways that are more damning when it's like, hey, man, we used to think Pacino was the man. And then it was like, you had a kid at 80. That's true.
Starting point is 01:42:31 But then DiCaprio, I mean, he takes a lot of heat. Yeah. I don't think that happens to him in the 90s. So I don't know who's right with any of this stuff. And maybe that's where my defense of the e-mailer came in where I'm just along the mindset of like, I don't know, there's actually sometimes a gap where people start thinking you're the man again.
Starting point is 01:42:47 But I don't know if that happens anymore. I think if you're the emailer, you have to move in silence for a few years to get the other guy framed for pedophiles. You have to put him. Like actual pet. Yeah, the real bad kind. You have to really.
Starting point is 01:43:01 Send him to prison for the rest of his life type. Do you have to groom him into being a pedophile? Yes, unfortunately. You have to. It's a long con. just remember sitting in my car and being like, what the fuck? This guy's hilarious. We can try to link you up with him.
Starting point is 01:43:16 Because if he is like that stereotypical brother-in-law who's just such a meathead. Yeah. And I don't know if he, I couldn't tell if he was a meathead or if he was just a guy that was right. You know, a little on the soy side of things where he just was like, this is fundamentally wrong. Oh, yeah. If he actually says it's fundamentally wrong, that's not funny.
Starting point is 01:43:34 But I, I took it as like he's just an idiot who's like, yeah, this guy's fucking my sister. I'm going to have to talk shit. Just the group chat too. The family group chat where like, the mom is like sending pictures and stuff. It's like, oh yeah, look at the pedophile again. I remember getting defensive about my sister like the first time because I thought I just had to as the oldest. Right. Because I was like, oh no, I can't allow this to happen. And I had a friend who like just ruined it. He was like, hey, you realize none of us would
Starting point is 01:44:04 ever be here before I just went around trying to punch everybody that dated our sister. like it's just not it doesn't work like you don't have to get mad not like anybody was ever going to be afraid of me or anything but I just felt like oh instinctively this guy can't he can't come around and he was like so you're going to do this for how long and then I realized yeah this is kind of a waste
Starting point is 01:44:23 I got over it quick yeah but then the guy who defends who like Kate do have any brothers I defend his sister I do oh poor guy I've been around the block a couple times
Starting point is 01:44:36 he only gets called on this show when Kate has a suppressed memory of like a roving in a bucket on road trips in the city van they sell those now how are you with a boyfriends
Starting point is 01:44:50 I think that's oh yeah dad with daughter that's it's getting how many of you had I'm on my second one right now really second wife doesn't care so this is
Starting point is 01:45:01 I've gotten to the stage now where I'm making it useful yesterday I needed a bucket I needed a bucket I needed a bucket for my boat I had some water leakage I needed some bucket so I my daughter was home
Starting point is 01:45:12 and the boyfriend was over visiting and I said hey boy go to Ace Hardware and get me a bucket Wait you sent him to Ace Hardware to get a bucket? Yeah I sent him to Ace Hardware to get me a bucket. Not even Home Depot? What kind of man doesn't have a bucket? I needed a bucket I couldn't find my bucket
Starting point is 01:45:25 and I didn't have time and I said Hey boy go get me a bucket And you know what he did? He brought home three buckets Wow wow So this boy This boy is good. He's good.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Oh, you don't know Brandon had a boat? Kind of a boat. It's sort of a boat. I have a fishing boat. I don't have a boat boat. I have a little 12-foot John boat that I go fishing in. I don't have like a... But I am going to buy a pontoon next year.
Starting point is 01:45:48 I decided that. You guys have a hot tub boat? What? The hot tub boat? Yeah, it goes in the river. Oh, we did that. Now, if you get a pontoon, I'm going to respect you a lot more. I'm going to get a pontoon.
Starting point is 01:45:58 You can have a pontoon on your pond? Yeah, it has to be electric. Well, that's still a thing. There are cars that are electric. you don't look down on those people. No, I do. I do too. That'll be fun.
Starting point is 01:46:11 They're easy to haul out, too. Yeah. That's the big thing. Like, having a boat and a non-full boat season. Yeah. I just, you know, ice. Did you sell your boat? I did.
Starting point is 01:46:21 Damn. But you had like an ocean boat? Like a real boat, boat. Yeah, 47 footer. Jesus Christ. Damn. Why'd you sell it? I was making some moves.
Starting point is 01:46:33 I'm not done with a boating game. I can tell you that right now. Oh, hell yeah. I don't like the idea of you being out of the book. I was like Tebow. How we doing? Those are the guys from Blackhawks. I thought that was Tebowks.
Starting point is 01:46:41 Oh, that's Davidson? I'm not out of, yeah. It was not one of those things when I saw that it was like, oh, man, you did the whole, hey, I had it first. And by day you buy it, do you buy it, do you sell? I was like, yeah, I've heard it all before. I'm not done. But it was just the right time. We'll be back.
Starting point is 01:46:58 Yeah, we'll be back with a vengeance. Ryan, I know you've talked about it on your show a little bit, but I haven't talked to you about it. You have an uncanny ability to exist and piss every day off. Just like... Your ads are going viral. Just like a picture of you. You had an ad go viral? Oh, multiple.
Starting point is 01:47:19 Ryan, it just takes like a picture of himself and you post it and people just go fucking... It's crazy. It's unbelievable. I got to tell you, it feels like a lot. Because I don't... There's just a lot of narcissism that goes... on where, you know, some of my least favorite content right now is like football season person that goes up. Football again.
Starting point is 01:47:45 You're looking at me? It's so busy. No, but you're year-round. You're year-round. That's just an aside, right? So I always, like, you never want to necessarily, I think when you're in content, you can have, like, a vein of narcissism where you start to kind of like, oh, this is only happening to me or whatever.
Starting point is 01:48:02 whatever it is about any picture of me it just seems to make people to your point like I don't really get it yeah I've never felt it's so mad it's crazy I've never felt less attractive in my life I think that's I walked around the streets there's some ugly fucking people out of it oh yeah I guess I'm one of them I think that's it comes down to like the internet has somehow
Starting point is 01:48:25 put on you something that you I know you very well like they they think that you walk around being like I'm the fucking man it's like no you don't you're just a regular guy and so like oh this is bullshit like he thinks he's the man look at look at him a lot of projection yeah a lot of projection but it's
Starting point is 01:48:44 just I don't laugh at you I laugh at people I just laugh at like yeah you're just like hey guys try this candy bar people like the lighting could have been a little bit better I thought you know the spooky season right around the corner that made sense and then I don't know what the
Starting point is 01:49:01 fingers people wanted. This wasn't Herb Street with a camera crew. You know, this is me at my house trying to memorize six parts of the script and then Oh, Ryan. This is fucking hilarious. I get it. It's funny. A million.
Starting point is 01:49:16 Oh, man. Ain's got to be pumped. Todd Graves should be the happiest guy ever. That way better. The Reese's one, I think, did him. Oh, you're fucking good. Maybe that makes sense. He's got it.
Starting point is 01:49:34 Go, look at some of the comments. It's crazy. People get like so fucking mad. People are actually mad or they're getting jokes on? No, they're mad. No, they're like actually mad. But not mad. It's delete this.
Starting point is 01:49:44 Ryan is dead inside. I spent 60 seconds talking about the Reese's cups. It was like a freelance thing. I got to do another one pretty soon. So obviously I'll try to get makeup over here. But I don't know. I don't know why it's that people, want me to lose so bad.
Starting point is 01:50:05 They do. Right? I think they all want us to lose. Nobody wants. Oh, yeah. Nobody wants. We get it. Yeah. But there's something that seems like it has a little extra seasoning with me. Like the number of times that when I was at Ringer, it would go, this is what happens when you leave at ESPN, you know. I'm like, what, everything gets better? And then when I posted that, it was like, he's dead on the inside. This is what happens. And you go to bars stool. And again, it's very easy to label all that kind of stuff because you have this definitive point
Starting point is 01:50:35 of the timeline you can say well this is now happening I would have done that Reese's ad for fucking anybody yeah like the salespeople call you up and like is there any way you can do like five recap NFL weekend Reese's hey is it a good deal is a good deal for the company yeah no problem I like Reese's peanut butter cups my dad for my birthday
Starting point is 01:50:50 he sent me a used book and Reese's peanut butter cups you know so I was like it's a family thing no problem but I don't know maybe it's because I everybody talks about the working out and sometimes I'll drop a number and then there's the Utah live show where I was wearing that cashmere thing and because I have like a pelvis
Starting point is 01:51:07 that tilts forward you pulled the Utah live show we all we all know the pelvic tilt yes if you lift heavy for a very long time not only have I gotten shorter I also have like a slight pelvic tilt thing
Starting point is 01:51:23 that I'm realizing like I'd like to think when my shirt was off big cat noticed at Vegas he's like yeah an awesome body dude I said that's at the cabana it did 2.30 to have that kind of body at my age but what look here we go that's the pelvic tilt yeah pelvic tilt as just years of lifting muscle sticking out oh it's like Denver but way more yeah no I saw you with your shirt off you looked awesome the same guy I might have been actually lighter in that picture than I was at Vegas so here's what I know about human nature especially when you do something that is publicly consumed and I've been doing it now over 20 years is nobody actually wants you to be doing it well. It's true.
Starting point is 01:52:04 It's kind of what, like, if you could sum it up in one sentence, it's, you people like you, people like your show, people like, but like there's a general overall thing of none of us are that impressed or no one's that impressed with anything that we do. And it's like, well, if I had just fucking done that, I could have done that. You just watch the games. Like, give me a break. There's an arc. Everyone roots for the, when you're an underdog, they root for you.
Starting point is 01:52:25 And then the minute you do well, they're like, fuck that guy. Well, I think because I'm not married, though, and I don't have kids. So, like, I just think there's a lot of people that want to believe that I'm a huge, huge fucking loser. It is fascinating. I don't, I don't know what to say. Like, what am I supposed to say? Like, hey, let's do 30 minutes on why I'm not one.
Starting point is 01:52:43 Like, I don't. That would be so good. Right. Do a people. On why you're not a loser. Right. Like, every in writing thing I fucked myself on because I told people I was going to pursue it. And it's just fucking hard.
Starting point is 01:52:57 And so, like, some things have worked out. Some haven't. But I, I'm sorry. I just, I've felt a very specific, like, I don't, I don't know what it is. Like, if I were just a total fucking dork, then maybe it'd be easier to just go, well, he's just a dork and he's good at this job or whatever. But then it's like, does he think he's really fucking cool? And people are just, whatever the combo I came up with, people seem to hate it.
Starting point is 01:53:21 Yeah, I mean, we all get shit, but, like, you have a unique flavor of shit that gets served to you. It's like, I don't see the, the shit that they're serving up to you, I don't see it served anywhere else. It's like, what is going on? He's just existing. He's existing. Especially, though, like, what did they expect the chicken finger ad to be? That one, you knew what you were doing with that.
Starting point is 01:53:40 I didn't. You're smarter. Look at that. The chicken finger ad? But how do you do that any differently? They show up to your house with 200 chicken fingers and they go, you've got to film it yourself, and it's these six parts. Like, did you guys expect David Lynch? I don't understand
Starting point is 01:53:56 what people thought that was going to be. and then when it gets launched, I've had a couple podcasts where I went to bed and then I woke up on Monday and I was like, what the fuck? Like, that was the reaction of this? Every tailgate needs a game player. But it should, I mean, even if it does look or sound a certain,
Starting point is 01:54:15 you just look at it, you scroll past and you just give up, but everybody slams on the brakes. And they're like, I got to. I got to let them know. I got to talk to shit here. I'm glad you. said it because it's felt a little the temperature's been cranked up
Starting point is 01:54:32 at the feeling of it. Yeah, I mean, I feel bad I feel bad that you have to deal with that sort of thing, but as an outsider I'm not laughing at your demise. It's just like the most it's the most inconsequential thing, like the fact that a chicken finger video, it's an ad, people that mad
Starting point is 01:54:48 is objectively funny to me. It's just, so I just. It is funny. That could like ruin someone's day. To get to the point where I'm angry enough to comment on your ad. There's a guy who's like neglecting his children. He's like, not now, babe. Fucking Ryan Rissillo posted.
Starting point is 01:55:05 Still did his recap. But the other part of it has to be, though, like, things have gone pretty well, considering how long I've been on the air. And you're like, all right, well, I think this is all the people that would say something. Or there's a person that's like, I love his basketball. I'm not going to let the chicken thing ruin my day. So I think what you're doing is you're finding out, especially with Twitter now, never being worse that you just can't do anything.
Starting point is 01:55:31 No. No. I was, like, I would have done that. I'm going to do another one if Todd Gray has asked me to because he's a buddy and I met him 20 fucking years ago and I was pumped that Raising Keynes even wanted to do anything. And I don't know, man. That was a, that was weird. It was a weird and Surrey was like, are you all right?
Starting point is 01:55:49 I am, I am fine of the things that you don't like happening in your life or do like, this is easy. That was an easy one to get through. But I'm with you. I guess I was just like, God, this feels a little extra. Is it better than the inverse of everybody ignoring your chicken ad? True. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:56:09 No, I mean, look, if you're doing stuff, people have to, as you guys all know, you know, but I don't understand. I think Titus, like your point of why would that be the thing that gets everybody that gets everybody that mad? So. But it's a good skill to have. The facial hair. But I'm not trying to. The facial hair, though, you know.
Starting point is 01:56:28 I mean, the handlebar thing. I had a cowboy theme party. I had to go. Yeah, you were taunting them. You were like, go ahead and give me your best. But I do the handlebars. I do usually once a year. It's like people can't keep up with the schedule.
Starting point is 01:56:43 Oh, geez, no, man. It's good that you can't buy. This show doesn't have any commercials, huh? Oh, I do have to do one last ad. Let Ryan do it. Do you want to do a golf? Knee shoes. I don't know. Diplo wanted to do it on Friday and then he didn't show up to Chicago until Friday night.
Starting point is 01:57:05 All right. Worked out. Think about this for a second. Every guy has those go-to pieces, right? The shoes that can go with everything that one pair of jeans that fits just right. That t-shirt that always looks clean no matter what you pair it with. You don't overthink those pieces. You just grab them and they work every time.
Starting point is 01:57:23 But most guys are missing one thing from that lineup jewelry. That's where GLD comes in. Nice. They make the kind of pieces that become part of your routine, not just something you save for special occasions for once in a while. Starting point is 01:58:50 Yeah I did the wine thing with him Oh yeah that's right Yeah he's a weird one Sometimes I mean he touched me a lot in the video but it was fine yeah that's right right off the pit that's right he touched you some people but in the moment did you know like this guy's touching me a lot he like went two hand touched didn't he kind of trying to alpha yeah
Starting point is 01:59:11 yeah you got all over me what was that chee it's tough I gotta fit it all into a vertical phone screen so the touching what does that have to do it yeah I didn't complain I can't like get it's an observation it's trying to no we watched the clip we're like that was a lot of touching it never bothered me in the moment it felt earnest. Can we see it real quick, T.J.? That's good. But then some people afterwards were like, he was all over you. Yeah, he did kind of like a double thing.
Starting point is 01:59:34 Manhandled you. Throwing you around. I don't know, you get a couple of cores lights in a guy. He starts fucking bro-hugging, you know, it's fine. Oh, man. We enjoyed a nice shard. Did. A wind did well. A small I chair we're here with.
