Starting point is 00:00:02 Dude, someone tried to tell me John Williams was dead. He's my makeup artist. Oh, really? At the thing? Because we talked about Vemmo, and I was talking about how my name is John Williams. And she's like, oh my God, he died. I'm like, no, he didn't.
Starting point is 00:00:28 She's like, yes, he did. 100% he is dead. Wow. That's crazy. And I went, I went, a hundred? Because you can check. We all can check now. I was like, is it any less than, there's no wiggle room.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Because 100 is zero wiggle room. and she was 99.999. Okay. I go, okay. Okay. And I wasn't going to look it up because I knew he was alive. Because I would know if he died
Starting point is 00:00:52 because I named my shit after him. I like him. You are kind of soul-winked at this point. So I was like, I don't know. I just kept saying, I don't know. Anytime she says some of shit, she'd be like, yeah, I know it because two years ago, my dad, he's a huge fan.
Starting point is 00:01:04 He was really sad when he died. I goes, I don't know. And she Googles it. He's fucking alive. Okay, so what did her face look like when she Googled it? Was it humiliation? It's funny because she bought tickets to a John Williams tribute concert that's happening at the Hollywood Bowl.
Starting point is 00:01:23 It happened last week. So I think it changed that experience for her. I want to know what her face looked like when she looked it up and you were there right there in front of it. That's the moment. I think it was a quick, you was like, oh. Okay. Oh, you're right. It wasn't like she didn't fucking soy jack. Of course.
Starting point is 00:01:45 She'd go, boy, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo. Well, it feels like. I feel like you should. I don't know. I am, John. I am back from that. She didn't do all that. She didn't do that. It was a much subtler, like, well, wow. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:01:58 That was wrong. Needs context hat. Context. Waring the needs context. Context hat. Waring it needs context. I was here, but I was on my phone. Yeah, it wasn't for you.
Starting point is 00:02:07 You were essentially gone. You're essentially out of the room. I was said, not present. It was like I was late. It was like I was the third person in the room. Yeah. It wasn't for you to. I was at the mogul bala lingerie.
Starting point is 00:02:16 The balangerie. The mogul balangeree. I was at the mogul balangeree getting some denims. Dude, I gotta say it and I'll be brave enough to say it. All right. Vvette dog walking you. And imagine this.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Can you dream with me for this out? Let me dream. Wait, can I say some shit real quick? Please. He didn't even know what the vet was. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:37 I'm sorry. I didn't even know what about it was. I know. It's like so, it's like so sad. It's sad. That is a good word. You have to, you have to just be like, dude, let me show you.
Starting point is 00:02:47 You know, you can't even make fun of him. Because like, how are you that deep under a rock? What sucks is that you run the merch side of my company. So it's like the head of Motorola, not knowing about Apple. And it's like, bro,
Starting point is 00:02:57 how is our flip flow supposed to compete? It's blindsided at the Steve Jobs thing. What the fuck is that? It's straight up Blackberry. You are the Canadian guy who refuses to adapt to the much bigger, larger entity coming in with the touchscreen. We have a keyboard on our phone. Is this, if I can respectfully ask, is this like earlier where you're talking about me and I can't say anything?
Starting point is 00:03:17 No, no, no. You can speak. Which was also funny because a meeting was taking place with Kristen Yingling, who are Ludwig's slaves. And they were talking about Aiden's schedule. Aiden is at his desk 10 feet away. And he's like, wait, I am available that day. And they're like, dude, we're not talking to it. It was earnest.
Starting point is 00:03:39 I walked in the fucking warehouse and it was all chill and you go gives me a nod. I don't see Christian and then I sit down and they sat down within seconds. That was cool. And I was like, this has been planned. Dude, they, before you got here, I came in and the first thing I heard was Christian,
Starting point is 00:03:53 I mean, he's not even here yet, so. Like they were literally plotting your arrival. Dude, and Christian's shirt's crazy wrinkly. Yeah, man. Oh, that's what you called him wrinkles. I thought you're making fun of his age. Anyway, dreamily, guys. I walk into Caesar's Palace.
Starting point is 00:04:09 You have to tone Vivette. All right? You were in the heels? I'm in the boots. Yeah, look at the boots. We go, and I have the currently prototyped unreleased Vivette cross body. Oh, my God, he's got the Vvette.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Wow. Oh, my God, is that Vett? Wait, is that unfindable Vvette? He looks fucking God. I was feeling tonight, and it's playing over the shit. And I order a gin and tonic, okay? And I got it. And I got the little straw.
Starting point is 00:04:34 That one's not on the house. You look so good. You tried to order one. They just handed you one. And I sucked the whole thing down. immediately. It was just jet. I'm very anxious.
Starting point is 00:04:42 And so I go to the high roller room. Blackjack, right? Take out the Vivette Crossbody. Or don't take it out. I unzip it. Bandos. Ten rack pulling it out right there. Oops.
Starting point is 00:04:55 What just spilled out all over the floor? Tap caps. Whoa. Are those mine? So would you like black chips or yellow chips? I say one yellow chip, please. Of course. $5,000.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Of course. The pit boss of the pit boss sees. He says, oh, wait, sir, we also accept those. So, tap caps, there's payment here. So I get down, I get on my knees, scoop them up. Each one is worth $1,500. I guess, excellent, thank you very much.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Excellent, I'm on my knees. Excellent, thank you very, I scoop them up. So is that the gooey rare one? The gooey rare is one every ten boxes. You know what I do the pit boss? Not the dealer. I take it, put it in his pocket. Yeah, stuff it in the front pocket.
Starting point is 00:05:35 And then he is a nice to herself. mouse betting with him. He starts clicking it like Golden Eye while you're playing. And I, and I, and all, they, you know, they take a while account of my money. It's all real. Bring me back my chips.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I only play one hand. Oops. What happened? Two queens. I split them. Split the queens. Everyone at the table's furious. The president. I split the queens. I lose it all. Just another day.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Just another day. The last one of the vet. I'm an ambassador. You splash the table. with 50 more tap caps and you walk out. Yeah, that's fucking awesome. And that's the life that he's leading because he knows in Kaupavette. What are you doing?
Starting point is 00:06:19 And has a sold out because of it. And enter. Aidan walks in a Chucky Cheese. He's dressed into the nines in Ludwig Mogul moves gear. It's playing AI children's music. Gigi fucking E! He doesn't realize it, but his nuts have flopped out of his shorts.
Starting point is 00:06:36 he's walking around no come on we're nuts away he goes he goes to get the gold coins that you have to trade in your cash for his bill's getting rejected he only has hundreds they say 20 max he has one 20 to wrinkly they don't take it aiding can't leave an arcade until he has a thousand
Starting point is 00:06:55 sticky hands it's a video him getting mad at children's arcade games would be so perfect bro it's obviously rigged when you use when you move the lever, it doesn't move relative to the amount of time you spent pushing the lever to the right. No, he doesn't.
Starting point is 00:07:12 It took a video. It's in slow motion. Watch, watch the video. I just want you guys to see this. So you know that I'm not really failing at this. The system itself is failing in the machine. It over extends when you press the button late and it stops immediately when you press the button early. It's the machine's broken.
Starting point is 00:07:28 The machine's broken. Like, can you get us with it? Full kit. I want full of the press kit. Full kit. And we come to the nines. Just fucking full of it. episode where we're all dressed.
Starting point is 00:07:38 I'm 100 people. Buddy, you spend more on clothes. I really don't. I'm wearing mogul balanjure. This is made in China. Yeah, but... It's all made in China.
Starting point is 00:07:49 We also price hike it. That's cheap. What's the margin on this? I think it's like 3,000%. We make it for about 45 cents. 3,000%. We make it for 45 cents. For about like,
Starting point is 00:08:02 I don't even know the number at that point. That's why you don't. And typically, have to sell a lot and why you don't. They sell a lot. And then they buy it and they put a couple pins on it one that says like fucking glizzy goblin and one that says like one night stands.
Starting point is 00:08:16 And we do pre-order so you'll get it in about 12 to 18 months and maybe 24 depending on supply chain stuff. And honestly we sell 15 at most. We would be lucky. You saw it, you saw it, you saw a professor else sold $7,000 of merch. That's what it said.
Starting point is 00:08:34 Yeah, seven thousand dollars of merch. God, what a generationally. 7,000. If you had just showed the previous month. Ain't a surprisingly bad at merch. You know what is always a recession indicator? Is streamer slash influencer merchars included being offered up as sold items on subredits of said influencer slash podcaster? No, I actually think Goodwill is a bigger battleman.
Starting point is 00:08:59 I think goodwill is bigger because I think sometimes people are either flipping for profit. Or flipping for size difference, like they change size. Wait, Goodwill wouldn't be even recession. Because you're donating it. Right. You're not getting any money out of it. I'm specifically saying this is an indication of what can I get rid of for a little bit of money? I interpreted, I see.
Starting point is 00:09:21 My daddy's gone. The true meaning of recession indicator. I interpret it as like we felt off the recession of us, the podcast. The recession of blood weight. I'm talking about an economic, what do you call it? Canary in the coal mine. An economic canary. That's in the coal mine.
Starting point is 00:09:35 wine. And you know what? It's the old yard book. A couple of yard books. Once the straight of Hormuz was closed months ago, a couple of them yard books went up on the subreddit. They listed. And I said, I'm watching this space. Yes, this is expensive. I got to sell my book.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I copped a little of it. You copped? What'd you get, boy? What pieces did you grab, cops a little bit of that? You copped some pieces? I copped. Well, it made me feel like a bitch. Why? Gendered. Inherently always gendered. You are gendered bitch. Bich is a gendered word.
Starting point is 00:10:08 It's always been and always will be. It's inherent. You don't need to say it. Just to clarify, I emphasize the gendered there. Okay. That was an emphasis. He's saying, I want to use the more gendered bitch. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:18 There's a non-gendered. No, there's not. There's not a non-gendered version of the word. Bich R, bich-on, bitchamos. I copped the beginner hoodie in the beginner sweats. Because you could humble beginnings. It's funny. the beginner hoodie. It makes
Starting point is 00:10:37 me feel like I have no fashion when I purchase it and I don't. Because many, this is their first entry into expensive outfits. This is your beginner. Welcome to the world of high fashion. Let Vivette open the red carpet to you to high fashion. Also buy a streaming
Starting point is 00:10:54 backpack that has no gear. Dude, it's crazy. Nick thought it had gear. Nick it was funny. It was funny. I've only ever seen those streaming backpacks on the guys with phase who stand like this? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Yeah. And he always got it all the way up to sleeves. Outfits fucking like $8,000 by the way. Talking about gilly. And I just assumed that the gear came with the backpack. Like I don't like I didn't think anyone
Starting point is 00:11:22 had bought that backpack without the gear ever. Right. So when I was making one, I'm like, how could you sell something less than what the expectation of the public would be with that thing? You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:11:33 Yeah. Because you were, I didn't know how expensive it was. I didn't know. was a $20,000. Yeah, you look up the price of these things when you start getting curious about what is it like to the IRS stream and they get pretty fucking crazy. It is great because you would just imagine if I was like auto, build, build me the backpack.
Starting point is 00:11:48 He'd be like, well, I took a raspberry pie and it works and it's like a hundred bucks. Yeah, I don't honestly know. I think they have some proprietary shit that makes it like harder to recreate like if I were to have auto to do it. But I should try that. I do think they have a crazy. Well, you should try how cheap can auto rebuild the streaming backpack. It's, I guess,
Starting point is 00:12:09 what the hell is he doing right now? I, he's actually working on some, I'll tell you. He's working on a chess website so I can play against Levy, but every time we lose, we add one person. So it's like, imagine he has one chessboard, then it's two. Oh, it's an increasing simul. Yes, but he only gets five minutes per game. Oh, that's low.
Starting point is 00:12:29 So it's like, when does he cap out mentally? Does it, can he go back to any game? game or does it just show whatever, whoever just play, is it all the same screen? Yeah, it's all the same screen. Wow. It'll be like big fucking screen of everything and you just see which one you have to move on. How the fuck will he move when there's 20 people? Because he's going to beat a lot of people. I think he gets to nine.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Are you kidding? Just because time, bro. Time pressure. Well, then it's, is it not that interesting if he loses to time? Well, he's never going to lose to checkmate. If people, if people don't lame him, like just instantly move and force him to instantly move. He will just keep going. He'll get over 20. He has to instantly, his opponents have to instantly move, but in a way that's not a blunder. Because you can't just instantly move if it's a blunder.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You can if he has to address it with up to 10 games. The idea is like he has so many boards that all have his turn and time taking down at the same time. And eventually it's just going to be too much. Like if the goal is to just have him lose one of the games. The goal is to overwhelm him. Like when does he run out of RAM? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:30 Yeah. Because we, what's the rank of the players against? against him. Like there must be a standard there, right? The golden standard of 1100. Can I be one of them? What? 13. My fault still?
Starting point is 00:13:45 Yeah, holding down. 1,300. You've been, 13-active. You're 13-active right now. Do you promise me? I'll, I think I saw you play. It's 1300.
Starting point is 00:13:54 What was your peak? What my, I'm living my peak, buddy. I'm living it. You're 1300's you're picking you down right now. I'm living to peak. Did you hit 1,300 and retire? Uh, I hit. I retired. I played a game. I'm still in 1300.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Thirteen hundred. You said one game. Just a game. Yeah. And I won it. Wow. You won your 1300 game. You're 300. Uh, you want it in? Yeah, I've only play. Okay. Let's go, baby. I got, I got a text from, um, I think it was A Tiroc when he was like, he's like, hey, do you want to play in the simul that we're doing? It's like with Magnus Carlson. And I was like, yeah. Yeah. What is it? He's like, today. I can't, I can't drive to that today. He just stupid idiot. Fucked me. How? He fucked me crazy. How'd you fucking bad style? Because we were supposed to play Pokemon. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Yeah. And he goes, yeah, we'll play Pokemon tomorrow. And then at 2 o'clock. And then, like, noon hits. And he's like, ah, forgot about Blur's birthday party. Got to go to Blur's birthday party. But I'll be ready at 5. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:53 You were invited to Blurzber the movie? No, no, not a shot. I'm just a stream viewer. Were you invited? No. Interesting. Wow. That is interesting.
Starting point is 00:15:01 A line in the stand has been drawn. Me and Aden just talked about lines in the stand being drawn. by friends anyway. That's a line in the sand and I'm okay with I am a blur viewer so I feel like it'd be parisotial fire to show up right I feel that sure sure yeah the party you would take probably what four hours longer than expected well because yeah he'd want every four hours he's going through the line of door dash items yeah could get yeah and he's like no because you know in three hours if we eat this now we won't be hungry but he also didn't want to use some sort of calculator he wanted to do it in his head all in his head and he's not particularly fast at it
Starting point is 00:15:32 honest man. It's not bad. He's not fast. We don't need to be fast. Sometimes the party ends in seven minutes. And then, you know, what he loves to do is recheck his work because he thinks he might have got it wrong. So it's like, it's a mental calc. Let me recalc it mentally. Have you seen the clip of Blur coaching Zane actively
Starting point is 00:15:48 while he's playing? Yeah. Yeah, it's amazing. It's so good. He's like, no, no, no. Patience. Get on stage. And I'm like, brother, what do you? What do we do? It's so beautiful. But Zane, as a great player in a great mind, will listen to Blur and be like, okay, sure, yeah, yeah. He'll take it into consideration.
Starting point is 00:16:04 Zane unironically loves Blurts coaching. If you ask him about it, he's like, yeah, dude, Zane will be like, yeah, he's, he has great idea. It's like me watching Steph Curry and he's like dribbling the ball and I'm like, I'm like, going with him. Bro, it's, it's Steph Curry. It misses you get mad. I'm like, you got to hit that. But this is how Zane, this is how Zane got good at melee.
Starting point is 00:16:28 This is his famously high, like best quality. at learning things because I think Iceman wrote a post about it a long time ago. And he talked about how like, Zane was already better than him. And it was at that big house where he popped off and he beat Plop and all these things. And him and Iceman were playing friendlies the year before. Iceman like gives him a bunch of notes. Like he was losing, but he's like, I think you can do this and this and this better. And then Zane comes back and they play friendlies at the next big house like a year later. And Iceman's like, oh my God, you did all the things I gave you. Yeah. Like you do them now and you're whooping my ass.
Starting point is 00:17:02 Like, and this is, this is, Zane's not above any feedback. And that's how you become the best. He gets up and he goes, no notes. No notes. Stay the way you are.
Starting point is 00:17:10 I'm Zane, by the way. You'll see him in the big stage. Do you think if you, does Zane give notes? Or does he only take notes? He coached me. And he gave you notes.
Starting point is 00:17:21 He gave me great notes. He does not give unsolicited notes. Of course. He's smarter than that. If you, but if you ask for notes, yeah, he gave me a lot of notes in the matchup
Starting point is 00:17:29 versus Marth. it made me realize the matchup is unwinnable if the Marth deems it yeah if the Marth wishes if the Marth wishes Falco doesn't win it he just doesn't
Starting point is 00:17:41 he was like hey you see this pixel it's like kind of really close to me but it's not close enough to where I can grab you if you're not standing here 100% of the game you lose the game and me I kind of just do whatever I want and hope that when you're on that pixel my grab hits you and sometimes it misses
Starting point is 00:17:58 but if it misses is it's not the worst thing in the world. If it misses Falco gets 50%. Yeah, he resets to neutral. He gets a juicer. If I, but if it doesn't miss, I die. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:09 When Mark gets his, it's a bigger juicer. We should extend that question to the fans, by the way, because I was 3V1 on that, maybe 99 v1 potentially, but I was saying Falco at this point is more tortured than Falcon. No, I think, I believe this. Now we're just saying. The immediate thing you said was Falcon gets to play against Mars. And I'm like, honestly. Every single year.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Since 2000, let's say, 2015, Falco has gone down a spot on the tier list, and Falcon has not. Falcon has either stayed or people have considered him higher because of his matchup spread versus the peaches, the Marth, the, you know, anyone who can't just like instantly combo him to death every single time. So two things. One, I don't really care about all that. I'm talking about what it feels like to play Falcon. And it feels worse to play Falcon most of the time. But you don't play Falcon anymore. You don't care about it.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I played them both. Like I play them both. Not in the modern era. Yeah. I don't play Falcon in the modern era. So by that logic, I shouldn't even be talking. And then we can not talk about it. You do play Falcon in the modern era.
Starting point is 00:19:07 I haven't played Malian like a year. But you've been to tournaments in the past couple years. It's been longer than that. When's the last time you played Malian. I beat Graves. In 2023. With Falco. Is that not the modern era?
Starting point is 00:19:17 Uh, in 2020. That's the modern era. That's the modern era. Against a Falco. What is? What? What doesn't matter. Okay, listen to me.
Starting point is 00:19:24 He's the Graves slayer. I think it feels like Falcon is more oppressed. and it just feels that way because, and your immediate thing was he does, he gets to play against Marth. The thing is, he's not beating Marth in that grand, giant, Zane world. He doesn't get to do that. And that's, and I'm like, yeah, we both don't get to be Marth. It's interesting as a point of conversation, the oppression Olympics of melee, because the only
Starting point is 00:19:49 value out of it is maybe the respect that you garner when you play the character. But it's also like just the most pathetic sticks to pick up. up off the floor because it's like, it doesn't matter. You can pick whatever, like if you really believe your character is pretty, you can pick a better character. We all had the same character select screen. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:07 But there's no value in your character being more oppressed. Mellie ought to be played a certain way for the art of it. But that's irrelevant to the oppression. But I'm, I am defying. I'm defying the oppression from my oppressor by continuing forward. I'm, I'm unbreakable. I am holding the log. Yeah, yeah, but they're saying, drop it.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I'm saying, I'm going to keep downeering your shield. I'm just going to keep doing it. Okay, sure. I agree, you're like Atlas, but you're like Atlas, if everyone walking by, you're like, this is so heavy. Like, yeah, I promise you, this is so. And Falcons with their fucking rippling muscles. I would argue, I would argue Falcon holds a bigger boulder.
Starting point is 00:20:49 But he has more fucking muscle. And he's like, oh, yeah, man, I know it's heavy for me too, man. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter how heavy it is. I think this. when the holder of the boulder says so fucking heavy. Yeah. He's saying it when it falls out of his shoulders.
Starting point is 00:21:05 I think that's the moment that he gets to be like, guys, look how heavy that was. You could say, no, because that's it. That's if you were to quit the character, you drop it and you go, it was too heavy. Oh, I thought that meant when you're like lost. No. Dropping the boulder means you lost and you turn to your friends
Starting point is 00:21:19 and they're all behind you at Genesis and you stand up from the fucking chair. Because he didn't just lose this pre-cope in a way. This is pre-cope. It was funny because I was, okay. So in, in, in, And esports news, welcome to the esports news. The yard sponsored player Magi unfortunately got humiliated.
Starting point is 00:21:34 I messaged her after the tournament and I said as your sponsor we must talk about what happened. She was like 1,000 lashings for Magi. Dude, okay, she's like, what was it? Game 5 with Wizzie? She's game 5 with Wizzie. She is like, Wizzy's like 170%. She has like pretty much a fresh two stocks. Two stocks days one.
Starting point is 00:21:54 And I look at everyone in the room because I probably watch the most tournaments out of all of us through and through because I streamed them. And I looked at them like, guys, I don't think she wins this one. And everyone's kind of rolls their eyes. It's like, yeah. I'm like, okay. You were saying like, hey, I'd been written.
Starting point is 00:22:08 Yeah, he kept talking about the prophecy. I was downstairs in the bathroom watching Zane and Mokie's commentary of it. And Mokie spoke it into existence too. He was like, I think Madge I chokes it. It's just one of those things that you see actually a lot. It happens a ton. And it did. She basically,
Starting point is 00:22:26 Oh god, can we go. She goes for the backward laser edge guard. I'll say this. She was at more of an advantage before this even. Boom. Whizzy, this backward's laser, the game's over. The moment I saw that. Wizzie is offstage at 160% last stock to Madagize 2.
Starting point is 00:22:41 It's like a fun screenshot of who wins the game. Wearing our fucking logo. And she goes for a swaggy. Can you believe Falcon even fucking recovered here? Wait, how is this possible? What happened? Oh, he still has jump.
Starting point is 00:22:52 I watched this and I don't know what happened. He still has his jump. She misses down there. She misses down there by a lot. She back hairs. Oh, she back cares. Oh, Madi. That is fucked.
Starting point is 00:23:02 Oh my god. And then, and this is what you know. Okay, wait, wait, watch how desperate she gets. She starts doing like, like no short hop nairs into the corner and stuff. And there's the Smash. And there's a smash. And then she rolls it again.
Starting point is 00:23:17 You have to roll the Ledge Magi, but we keep rolling in. Oh, man, this is so sad. It drops it here. Oh, watch this in the air. It's our chance. We got that. And might I say, as a falcon player as well, beautiful, beautiful fade back downer.
Starting point is 00:23:34 You make a little, it's like Puff, you make a little C in the air. You don't leap. And it was just immaculate. Anyway, right before that stock, she, in the scary time where I'm like, she can lose this, she did this, like, brilliant shine horizontal wavelength on the top plat.
Starting point is 00:23:50 And me and Nick, at the same time, like, oh, it's like seeing a cool car. Yeah. Oh my God. It's brief. So you don't say much, but it's like, oh, wow. You're like, yeah, she's like that. I've been going to this smoothie store,
Starting point is 00:24:02 and they have the best smoothies in the world. But it's so annoying because I keep trying to tip them, but all they have is this, it's like a California Shapp. I don't know if you know the Shapp program. Shap? It's like CA Shap. I don't know what it is, but I don't,
Starting point is 00:24:16 I keep trying to give them cash, but they say you have to use the California Shap program. And I, and I've not given them a fucking dime. It's funny that you didn't get affected really by distance learning, but talking to you, you would assume that you did. You're reading the word cash app. It's cash app. Oh.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You thought it was California Shapp. Yeah, I thought it was California. No, it's not any sort of a puzzle. It's not a puzzle. I'm working on the Mr. Beast puzzle. Like, right. You haven't really strong. So I go to the smoothie shop.
Starting point is 00:24:44 I'm Mr. Beast book and I've been working on the Mr. Beast puzzle to make a million. Well, I'll say this. Cash App is not a government program or a California thing, or a puzzle. And it's, I mean, it's a California. It's an everywhere thing, really. It's not localized. Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles. You could use the app.
Starting point is 00:25:00 You could just send friends money with it. Super easy. But I know what you're thinking. You might want a little debit card to use the money that accumulates. I get points at the smoothie store if I do use the California Shep, yeah. Yeah. So it's not a California Shep. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Just Shap. It's just a private company, not owned by California government. Okay. Yeah. And all you have to do, by the way, to unlock higher borrow limits is spend at least $500 a month, which you've got down. Well, I'm in the smoothie shop every day Because it's a big puzzle Yeah, you have to
Starting point is 00:25:28 The smoothie shop itself is a puzzle No, the Mr. Beast book puzzle How is the Mr. Beast puzzle linked to the smoothie shop? I haven't finished a book yet I'm on page three but I've been going for months Okay You know what, you have a different problem too You just let money sit in your account
Starting point is 00:25:41 I see how much sits there And you don't do anything with it There's no interesting You can keep the money in cash app And earn interest on it So do I wear, who in California Do I talk to you for that? I actually, you know what?
Starting point is 00:25:52 I don't think phones are for you I think this is for other people But the funny thing is it doesn't sound like Buxar either. So he's kind of a man without a country right now. I think you need to raw dog the rest of life. And as a new cash app, cash app customer, you can earn $10 if you use the code
Starting point is 00:26:07 Cash App 10 Ludwig. Do you realize that? How do you, is it C.A. Shab. C.A. C.A. I do see what has been C.A. Shapp 10 in their profile at sign up
Starting point is 00:26:16 and said $5 to a friend within 14 days. Terms do apply. That's CA SHAP with 2Ps 10 in the profile at sign up. Maybe it is. a government program. I think it's a California government program. Not a government program. They're being convinced. How did he convince you in two minutes? I don't know he's charming.
Starting point is 00:26:33 You should tip your smoothie people. And guess what? There's one more screen. Oh, I got it. California shop is a financial services platform and not a bank. Bank. Bank. Bank. Bank. Cache services provided by California shop. Bank. Cards issued by Sutton Bank. Flax tax tax issue by Sutton Bank. N.A. Pursuant pursuant to a license for Visa USA. Incccccccccccuit for the Sunc prepaid card.
Starting point is 00:26:46 Cuts and debt card. Cashup Clause. Cash Applaughts. Carpolleflaughts. that California shop, a block ink brand. I say California shop. Dot app slash legal slash podcast for fullesclose.
Starting point is 00:26:53 How do you remember all that? You didn't even know what was called. It's literally on the smoothie shop door. That's why I'm not far in the book because I have to get through that. And by the time I'm done, I finish my smoothie so I leave. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe sign up for it.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I don't, I'm fucking, I hate you. I hate, I don't, I don't want to do it with you anymore. One day we'll be together. Anyway, she is humiliated. In other news, in sub, sub-esports news, I myself with my e-sports company, Goats e-sports. I sponsored
Starting point is 00:27:22 Elliot if you guys didn't know that. And Elliot played at Riptide on behalf of Goats e-sports. I didn't even notice that. He got some placing. I don't even remember. Is he on the broad? Do you get on stream? He got on the multi-stream. That's huge for the Goatts for Zones. And GoateeSport is currently funneling in
Starting point is 00:27:40 15 mil from their Series A. Yeah, we got our Series A, it's cute. They have Lace on board. Tap Caps is a big sponsor. Lace. Suno, the generative A-I music company. Oh my God. Gigi We got the two young Young kids from GG fucking easy
Starting point is 00:27:54 Ellie's gonna be meeting them For photo shoot It's gonna be really fun Dude I got a DM from someone I haven't talked to in like six months And he was like Dude have you seen that Valorant song I instantly thought of you
Starting point is 00:28:05 Like what does that mean It's mean I thought of you Flared your feelings And he was like you look just like the girl Dude I will say It would be such a good CST2 MVP song
Starting point is 00:28:18 Oh yeah Yeah Yeah yeah Yeah yeah The round wins Where does it Start and end I thought about this
Starting point is 00:28:23 I think you just I think you just need It's just need It's just need But do you include Hey don't say that Maybe I don't know
Starting point is 00:28:31 I wouldn't Because what if it's like You start on Hey don't say that GGG Farkin Firkin Easy is the second time
Starting point is 00:28:38 She says Because they're kind of long She does say Fucking for real And later It's weird It's the first one She says
Starting point is 00:28:43 She says fucking And they says Don't say that And then she's like Really Which is a weird thing to say back to don't say that really. Yeah. And then she says
Starting point is 00:28:51 Furkin easy, but the caption says fuggin easy. This is all very confusing. Furkin is fun. I've never said FERC. Perkin. I say, I say fricking. F-U-H-R-K-I-N. That's freaking insane. But you know what's funny? That's the Gen Z spelling of it. The Millennial spelling of it would be
Starting point is 00:29:07 F-E-R-K, like Yeah, that's how I spell. Yeah, like Erma-Gerd. Yes, yes, yes. I was saying it's sort of a callback to Millennial cringe that where they're finding it again. They're unearthing it from the stones and saying, ooh, look at this.
Starting point is 00:29:23 What do you think is this? Censor your, why was she, after someone says, don't say that and you're trying to be like edgy to censor yourself? Well, maybe, maybe I'm still saying that it was easy, noob, but I'm not going to swear, because that's what you were upset about.
Starting point is 00:29:36 You're mad that I swear. Also, kitten should, like, you should listen to kitten. If kittens in the call saying, don't swear, maybe listen to kitten. He's kidding. He's kitten? He's kidding. No, he's not kitten. was I think she's kitten
Starting point is 00:29:48 what is he kitten gets to say he's the lion he's the lion and the lion says don't say that and kitten goes okay I won't
Starting point is 00:29:57 kitten will kitten I'll fricking kitten immediately turns on him no no no no the lion shouldn't be telling kitten not to say Gigi
Starting point is 00:30:07 easy is she the lion maybe she's not the lion she's not the lion she's a kid I thought she was the lion is it possible
Starting point is 00:30:14 they're on opposite teams like is it possible these are two people against each other. No. I don't know. I haven't watched the full song. I watched a full song. Really.
Starting point is 00:30:23 So what is it? Many times. What is it? What is the lower? New skin. New whip. What does he say? What gives this so much pull right now?
Starting point is 00:30:30 He said, I'm going to get a new whip. I'm fin to get a new skin. He does say you got it. The first line of the song is I got a new skin. Yeah. And it's very general. What game?
Starting point is 00:30:40 Can we get the song up, maybe? He said, iced out and I'm flicking. Iceed out and I'm flicking. And then it shows him flicking. licking his wrist. And it looks like when you look at their hands, it's like Swiffer commercial gaming. It doesn't look like either of them
Starting point is 00:30:51 ever touched a video game. Why is it going viral? Yeah, what do you think? What do you think? What do you think gives us so much? Rage bait. It's rage bait and catchy. Yeah, it's both things.
Starting point is 00:31:01 It's low-key, crazy, catchy, that's why. But here's a thing. You haven't seen it? It's actually genuinely pretty hard to find on YouTube. The actual song doesn't have that many views. It's hard to have missed. I've seen the clip.
Starting point is 00:31:13 Fucking easy. The like five second clip a ton and have yet to see a link of the full thing. Doesn't it hell like a million views on YouTube? You liar? Yeah, yeah. But that's what I'm saying. I think that's not that many compared to the discourse on Twitter.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Just go on YouTube. Which is like multi-millions. G.G. Easy. They'll fuck it in the title. You do look like her. Don't say that. Really? Let her say it.
Starting point is 00:31:34 Frikin easy. Fucking easy. I will say great singers. They're clearly reading the lyrics, right? Yeah, like off of a Google duck. well I don't this is a music video they're this is not them singing it no but like they're to mouth
Starting point is 00:31:51 they're off the screen why would they just be looking at the screen the whole time sorry in the shoot this is in the shoot in the shoot this is in the shoot I don't think so did you think I thought that did you think I thought they were reading on their music video that they're using did you think that I thought they were looking at their own music
Starting point is 00:32:06 yeah because like you turned off Insta I can't listen this this is just I'm already tracing easy I'm already tracer it is I'm already sure that's a great for Valer The difference is here, Aiden, that the song was made by AI.
Starting point is 00:32:19 Oh, yes. By Suno? Then they made a cover of the AI version of the song. What? Yeah, yeah, yeah. To, like, reclaim it, which is... Oh, they didn't make the AI song. No.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Oh, they just covered it. Yeah, they like covered it. I think it's kind of badass. It's not bad ass. We're taking it back from the RoFog. We're taking it back. We're reclaiming art. Everyone who works for AI music should be holding their own entrails.
Starting point is 00:32:43 I'm not kidding. Redrawing all. of the AI art. What's wrong with the little AI music? It's brunt. Isn't that what music's all about? Yeah, it is. Yeah, hopping into an Uber and listening to this song. What would we rather have a Benny Blanco banger or this? You're into Benny Blanco now. He talked about a lot on stream. Benny Blanco. You're watching the podcast? Oh yeah. You tapped in, bro? Oh yeah. Him and little dicky are just a freaking out of house would feed that dirty. Who's the other? Um, somebody's wife. I forget. Well, that's, it feels like a, I have
Starting point is 00:33:15 I know, but she doesn't have... She's a little dickies. Isn't it a little dickies? She doesn't have the pedigree that I would know her outside of it. I know. She doesn't have the pedigree because she's just somebody's wife. She must have someone introduced her on the fucking show. It's not what I was saying.
Starting point is 00:33:29 She's somebody? Not what I was saying. I don't watch the show so I don't know her name. I just knew that she was married to somebody on the show. Crazy you're not watching that because everybody's watching that. We got to get on that. We got to get the whole yard on that show. The whole yard.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Whole ass yard. Sing and Gigi freaking easy and Vivette on Bernie Blanco and Lil Dickie's show. I think there's a way to connect this all to what we were talking about earlier is that there is a membrane that is hard to puncture of things that are kind of humiliating and not cool. One of these is streaming, the other one is playing Valorant and being a computer gamer.
Starting point is 00:34:01 And no matter how hard you try to make the Joe G-esque leap from Filthy Frank to Joji is way harder from this arena, right? This is looked at as something that's hilarious and to be made fun of. Counter. Counter. And I play it face down. You turn it around. It says Super T.F.
Starting point is 00:34:21 What are you talking about? A streamer who plays Valoran who's fucking cool. Yeah, he is cool, but he doesn't, he's not exiting that realm. The issue is people, anyone can be cool on stream within the confines of the stream itself and you are in a small box. If once the camera goes into the room and we can see you gaming, no one's cool. Super TF is alpha. When he goes around in the streets and people recognize them, they start shaking. Yeah, but again, that's because.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Because they're parisocial cups. Because they watch his stream to fulfill the power fantasy of being mean to a rich guy who's better at them at video games. And they start shaking and Superos grabs their hand. He goes, it's okay. Don't shake around me. Can I get your super? My Super? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:01 I watch him a lot these days. I don't know. You got a really interesting. What up? Slime! Okay. I'm not a boy slut. Bro, you can't call me a boy slut.
Starting point is 00:35:15 Yeah, why is everyone called me a boy slot? Wait, I can't do Super. He's like a Kermit. It's a little Gary V. There's a Kermit in there. It's a little Gary Vee. You know what he hits when he's upset?
Starting point is 00:35:25 He hits the Northern Lion. Come on, man. I want the Super T.F. Streaming Masterclass. The Super T.F. Streaming Masterclass. The Gary, the Gary V by my course for streaming by Super TV.
Starting point is 00:35:38 He's a Jersey accent. I will say he's a consistent guy. Or Philly rather. Very consistent guy. because he got fucking nothing going on day to day he's doing the same shit bro he loves being on the computer
Starting point is 00:35:53 he fucking loves it though he loves being on the computer he fucking loves you off Valerate he might go back and play Overwatch watch dude he was watching Overwatch championships yeah he was at LISC on this weekend it's funny so is brawl pro my two online friends are in town
Starting point is 00:36:07 but it's Anaheim and it's that LA moment where you're like sorry dude I don't address I can't hang out with you I'm not going to do it. Oh, he's in L.A.? Yeah, they're both in BlizzCon. Oh. I didn't realize I was in L.A.
Starting point is 00:36:20 Yeah, it's, yeah, isn't that funny? He didn't hit your ass up. I'm not a Blizzard guy. Yeah, I'm a Blizzard guy. Me and Zipper actually talked to like, you're a Blizzard guy. An hour after you guys left yesterday about Blizzard and being guys that are like
Starting point is 00:36:33 almost 40 and shit. It is the best time in the world to be a guy who's almost 40. All the games are made for you. Blizzard's like millennial core, right? Yeah. Yeah, and Genox, if you give him that, too. Uh, you also, it's like computers.
Starting point is 00:36:46 Yeah, I didn't have a computer when I was growing up. We played what? Switch. Switch. Switch. I like the Wii. And you had a MacBook, so it's different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:57 It's not a, you had to have a Windows PC. I played Armageddon Advanced. Which is like, Tron. I know, that is. That's like, Tron? It was like, Tron. We've talked about on the show. It's got a pretty crazy community.
Starting point is 00:37:08 The release in Classic Plus? Yeah, it was some bunch of shit. They're recently like StarCraft, like, Open World Shoot. that releases in four years, which is disgusting. It's all jerked. I don't have a respect for any of this shit. Sure. But I do think I'm the kind of guy who I saw a new Starcraft, I'm like, I'm gonna buy it.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Yeah. Because we're really starving. I'm gonna die shit. And guys like us are gonna buy shit. There are certain IPs. Every time they make a smash bros for the rest of time, I will buy it. I just have to play it. I'm gonna buy the Legend of Zelda remaster. Got me by the nuts. And again, great time to be a guy in his 30s. Yep. Everything is made for us right now. When did you play Akron out of time? When I was a little ass jit?
Starting point is 00:37:46 That was the last time? No, I went to replay with my friend Jake in high school. Y'all did not finish that shit. Jake went crazy. At a certain point, we were passing controllers, and then I passed it, and I never picked it up again. Damn. And I just watched Jake, and Jake was going fucking nuts.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Jake sort of the alpha. Ludwig used to like couch gaming with a friend. Yeah, I can't know. Coach gaming's awesome. One of the last times I hung out with just Ludwig where we were not waiting for other people was at his apartment playing Kingdom Hearts. I was at your house watching your girlfriend play Dark Souls. Does that it?
Starting point is 00:38:22 It doesn't count. I didn't say just us. Huh? Oh. The female was there. All right. Yeah, I guess that's a good point. Think about it.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Tell me I didn't think about how the female was there. And I apologize in advance for when the post comes out. The post comes out. I've been for it 100 times of the show. Every get mad, well, not people who get mad. They know we're joking. Some people don't think we're joking. And it is funny. And they still watch a show. I don't like this, by the way.
Starting point is 00:38:52 The pocket of people who just didn't know what Floyd meant was actually the largest. Which is kind of comforting. Yeah, it was actually, I think, and I was like, that's good. That's actually good. Yeah, I was, it was funny because I watched, who did I watch? I watch tens. And you go from watching a lot of super to watching a lot of tens. And the difference is, is kind of.
Starting point is 00:39:11 have. Well, there's gameplay. Okay, I'm about to talk about the guy who made your keyboard right now. Okay. He did hand-crafted mine. Yep. So just don't step to me. I do think it's weird. I do the factory.
Starting point is 00:39:23 He's in a content group now. He's on thin ice. He did the movements like a maestro and they would follow him in the factory. He'd go right hand up and then they would all follow suit. Yeah, I'm watching him and I'm like, the difference here is that I don't think, like, I think Super loves the, streaming the game. And I think Ten's just plays it.
Starting point is 00:39:45 At least the stream I turned tuned into, it was very like lights off doggy style. I'm not talking to chat for probably like an hour straight. He low-key like Trout. He like a Gen Z Trout. I think it's because it's you somehow, some guys just manage, they want to be the Kalua anime PFP
Starting point is 00:40:03 streamer that never says anything and they just get really good at the game. And there's a couple people who win the lottery and get to do it forever. And it's Tens and Troud. Well, hold up. I think there's a reason that Super's not doing that.
Starting point is 00:40:18 Because Super likes talking to people. I guess Ted's like he's conversation. Because he doesn't have the skill. He does not have the skill. He does. Wait, what do you mean? He was one of the best Overwatch players ever. He gets to have that.
Starting point is 00:40:31 Addendum. Addendum. I think it's not that he doesn't have the skill. I think that he is fine. He is okay with not having the skill, whereas Tens' image is intertwined. Intertine with the really good at games. So in order to upkeep that image, he must always be trying,
Starting point is 00:40:45 which means playing at his high elos, where Super Bowl is play Valorant and be shit and not really care that he's not as good as the other thing he does. I think Timmy, Timmy's very similar. He's held a skill, like super, super has lost his skill. Like if Timmy, if you, if Timmy touched the Monstars ball and had the power sucked out of him and he, and Timmy was stuck in silver. Which super touch, it was the mean of breasts. Nobody. Yeah, that's what did it. The mean of breasts took away his power. If Timmy did that, Yes. People wouldn't watch Timmy anymore.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Less people would watch Timmy or he would have to pivot. But Super does, Super was amazing at a game, is amazing at that game. No, he's not amazing anymore. He's not amazing. He's not amazing. He's not still good at Overwatch. Not in the same way Timmy and Tens are good. This is like, I don't, no one cares enough.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Brian Scalabrini is not good at basketball anymore. It's like, yeah, he fucking is. No, I think it's like Super's like Brian F now. Do you think that, do you think that? No, he's not. No thing to Brian. For one. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Sorry. It's not like that. Brian, I love you. It's not like that. For one. I think Super could become like amazing at that game again.
Starting point is 00:41:52 Never again. Just never again. Never again. Okay. Heard. Do you think that Super is a far, a further distance from the number one Overwatch player than TENS is from the number one CS player?
Starting point is 00:42:04 I'm not saying about C.S. Because that's, that is where Tens got his name. But what's the point in making it a weaker game? game for him. It's just to make your argument better. Because Super has not been an Overwatch pro for quite a while.
Starting point is 00:42:14 It's about the same distance of time. Yeah, but they also pivoted games, so I feel like it seems like a weird swap to make. Why? Because I think Tens is a valerent
Starting point is 00:42:27 gamer and that's what he plays. I mean, Super still plays Overwatch. He was a CS player for longer. Um, it just feels like an art. It feels like you're creating confines.
Starting point is 00:42:39 to empower your argument rather than what's maybe more natural to the people. I think what matters more is how long ago it was since they were a pro in that thing. Yeah, I would wager to bet
Starting point is 00:42:53 that Tens will be better at Valorant relative in the amount of years like in the future. Or he's better now than Super was this amount of years. But this is very nitpicky. Clarifying question
Starting point is 00:43:06 because I don't know the answer. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Did Super fall off? in Overwatch and start streaming? Or did he just start streaming as a choice because he wanted to? And like, he bowed out. I think he bowed out and Overwatch League fell apart.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Wait, by the way, Zipper, can you, this is the story. If you guys don't know over the weekend, Brian F has been addicted to this new Avatar fighting game that's kind of like, it's very fighting game-esque. It's very like fun for the core heads,
Starting point is 00:43:29 but it's very unpolished. He played a first 100 set with Idaum who he has a podcast with, who's a pro player. And yeah, go to the next picture. This was him like six out. Have you ever seen Brian look like this? No, he looks so different.
Starting point is 00:43:41 I've never seen this man look like this. He looks gaunt. He looks like two-faced. Both sides of his face are making different expressions. The left side is still gaming and the right side is eight hours into a stream. He played a first to 100 set. And in a pretty long fighting game, he got 170ed. Not the worst.
Starting point is 00:44:03 I mean, and the math kind of works out. I said it was kind of like a 2-1. It's like you kind of just didn't need to play all them. That's like, isn't that, that's closer to a three, two? I thought he was on Hassan's streaming setup. Doesn't it kind of look like that? It is a bunch of shit in the background, and it's lit pretty much the same.
Starting point is 00:44:21 Yeah, man, Redator shelves, bro. You need one in the back. But yeah, that was, uh, Brian, he did this this weekend, and it was, it was kind of generational. Like, dude, you're watching him, and you tune in every couple hours just to see what's going. Just to see how it is. I'm not on Avatar head.
Starting point is 00:44:34 I'm watching this game. But then you see, like, it says IDOM 99, and you're like, well, Brian's only got one game to lose, and he's got 30 to win. How is he going to pull himself out of this one? And he doesn't. He doesn't. He doesn't.
Starting point is 00:44:47 He doesn't. He doesn't too many games. But yeah, it was, honestly, it was a great, it was a great weekend in the fun world of gaming. Wow. Look at that. Video games are fun, dude.
Starting point is 00:44:57 Video games are too fun. Dude, fuck out Korean Time remaster. Fucked all that shit. You ever play the original game? Yeah, of course. Don't give a fuck. Why, fuck it's a remaster. I like that.
Starting point is 00:45:08 I like that. I'm gonna still buy it though. I'm gonna still buy it though. I'll still buy that shit. I will be playing. I'll fucking buy that shit. I'll still be mad at the company. I don't like them.
Starting point is 00:45:18 Can you do? Do you think they're gonna make the game all easier and shit? I think it's already pretty easy. I don't think they can. They change a water sample. Yeah, they did that in the 3DS version though. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Doesn't matter. No shit matters. It's all for 30-year-olds. Do you see Tafokin's flaming a brand of a hardcore? a hardcore Marine Corps Normie. Yeah, he got too upset at a normie. Tafo did?
Starting point is 00:45:43 Yeah, he just... Tafo got let off the chain? He got let off the chain. He took himself off the chain. Vicky, I know you're listening. What happened? For a case, you probably shouldn't have taken himself off the chain for him. Tafo was like, Ocarat Time was actually really hard as a kid if you didn't have guides and
Starting point is 00:45:57 stuff. And then a bunch of normies were like, you found that game difficult. You're an idiot. And he was like, no, actually, I think here are all the things in the game that I think are really hard if you don't look anything up and you're, And you're in your eight. Yeah. Like me.
Starting point is 00:46:09 And they're like, yeah, any kid in the world figured that out. We all figured it out. No guides, nothing. I think these guys are a little delusional. I think most kids looked stuff up to play O'Karean at time, at least like one or two things, whatever. And Tafo, and this one guy was like, like, he said something to the extent of like, oh, like, bro, I would like crush you and fucking you suck a gaming, whatever. And Tapo was like, I'd venture to say that I have more gaming prowess than you in anything and would put up 50,000 whatever to fight you. Rec.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Five bans, bro. Five bans? The thing is the guy was making a hard line. Go down. That one. I'm willing to bet. Go down. I'm willing to bet any amount of money
Starting point is 00:46:46 that my pedigree and accomplishments in gaming beats yours. But the guy said, I'll play you in melee if you use no glitches or cheats. The glitches are exploits. That's like such a tired argument. Just immediately telling. I didn't see this one.
Starting point is 00:47:00 This, okay, yeah, I won't wave dash, best of five will fly you out to Los Angeles and get you a hotel. This is awesome. Okay, scroll out, this, this is oral loss. When you start listing out, he put diamond in league, tafficants.
Starting point is 00:47:14 My favorite, diamond's pretty high. Wait, if he was diamond back in the day, I don't care. It doesn't matter. Diamond in the league isn't interesting. My favorite is when we get to the part
Starting point is 00:47:23 where he starts saying, I did stuff when I was seven without help. Cooked myself mac and cheese by eight. Yeah, that's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. I do think it's unnecessary to put his pedigree. I think most of his followers know.
Starting point is 00:47:36 No, Tafo. But he... To be fair, I didn't know that when he was seven to nine years old, he beat Final Fantasy 2. The guy was flying out of any hell. If that guy thinks Wave Dashit and is an exploit,
Starting point is 00:47:47 it's so funny to challenge a chic player. Yeah. He just doesn't... It's the wrong guy. And Taffo already did this. Tafo did the $1,000 money match back at fucking Apex 24. What was that?
Starting point is 00:47:57 You remember? The... It was like one of the big... It was the biggest money match for a long time in melee history. And it was Tafo versus Tope? Top. No.
Starting point is 00:48:06 No, no, no. It was another... Tien? Tien. Yeah, that's right. T. And then Tof, yeah,
Starting point is 00:48:12 this famous line where he went up to Tiet, he was like, Quay! Quim, boom! It's really mean-spirited. Yeah. You're like, damn, Toff?
Starting point is 00:48:21 Damn, Tov. Off the lead. Okay, Tafo said he would use Gannon, which was pretty funny. He's like, I can just stand and, like, use Gannon, and it's fine. But I think challenging a scrando
Starting point is 00:48:31 to a 1V1 is always funny. But telling a scrando that, guess what, I'm actually Diamond in League, is the wrong way to do this. And guys, I think I'm experienced here. I get in a lot of scrando flights. I think Diamond's beasts,
Starting point is 00:48:43 but I do think telling him your diamond is like. And then when the guy doesn't reply, when the guy doesn't reply to the invitation, it's go all the way to the top. Another, you find, no, no, sorry, go a little further down. You find a different tweet from him and send it again.
Starting point is 00:48:55 Another quote. It's still on the table. Yeah, that's fun to do. Offer still on the date. You know what I like to do? I feel like this guy, the person, as soon as you put money up and offer to handle all expenses,
Starting point is 00:49:05 you offer to solve all of the friction for the other person and then they just crumble. They say, I'm not going to do that. I have a life. They automatically lose. They automatically lose. Of course.
Starting point is 00:49:13 We had a company retreat. They went fucking great. I heard Bader fucking kegstand. Oh my. Bader hit a kegstand. Aiden was being a fucking huge pussy because he kept saying I'm sleepy at 9 o'clock. You're different and you're worse for it.
Starting point is 00:49:29 I'm not a pussy. Yeah, you're worse than different. But it went well, but there was unfortunately a nar- amongst us. That's probably Yingling. It wasn't Yingo.
Starting point is 00:49:39 Wait, no one, no one fest? Wait, Yingling did make a mistake on this trip though. What's that? You want to talk about that? Was it like the mistake? You tell me who was the NARC?
Starting point is 00:49:48 Was it the mistake I made the group chat when the distribution hit? We talked about that at the retreat. Yeah, that was a little much, bro. Like how that image came into my life. What image? The one of Lee Sin with his penis out.
Starting point is 00:50:02 And not just his penis. With his penis. With his giant, the biggest penis. In the world. The biggest Johnny Sins curved fucking meat ever was because Sanch got banned from Discord for posting that image in a Discord.
Starting point is 00:50:14 Wow. And then he sent it to me and I immediately posted it in Discord. If it was the image or if it was him? Yeah, you, uh, we hit we get a distribution, we get a little money hit the account and then you posted big penis I said when the yard distro hit and it was
Starting point is 00:50:29 big penis lease in. And we have one where it's just literally the four of us and I should have there it is. I should have put it in there. And somebody, I think it was Yingo, because he's in there, showed it to me. So crazy. On the trip.
Starting point is 00:50:42 And he was like, look what slime posted. I was like, that's crazy. It was one of the one. It was funny because nobody replied to it for so long. It's a fucking 10 person group chat. It was like 20 minutes. And then you replied to yourself and we're like on second thought, this should have gone in the smaller group chat.
Starting point is 00:50:59 But you didn't delete? It didn't get replied to, but it got skull emojied. Yeah. Let's jingling move. It's a yingling. Oh, hungry route! The doggy route. What?
Starting point is 00:51:11 What? You say that like, guys, Aiden, we're out of it. I've been living at Aiden's house. We're out of the hungry route. And I ate all his hunger room. We're out.
Starting point is 00:51:22 And he keeps crying. We don't have any of the pre-fucking free meals left, dude. Yeah, the issue is, he's got a lot of wealth. He had a private chef. His private chef was shot and killed. At all. I didn't hear me about that.
Starting point is 00:51:34 All I left to my house is cat food. Is this hard to eat the cappard? Does your... Okay, so I understand the idea of you not having hunger. You don't get access to over a thousand grocery items like Salah's movies. You don't get access to over two... They screen out over 200 additives like high-furtosed corn syrup, which you're probably eating now because you don't have any more hundred.
Starting point is 00:51:53 But maybe are you grieving because maybe your personal chef was shot and killed and maybe that's actually what the problem is. You have really unpacked that? I don't care. I don't care. I don't care. I think it's just the fact that he can't eat in 15 minutes. He's not going to eat the hunger root.
Starting point is 00:52:10 And I don't know where to get it. Because you got out of shit. When I had the seared steak tacos that you left in the, what is that you're slurping? What I had, when I had it, it was delicious. It went to a good cause, which was me in my hunger. I missed a halibing of chicken ash and the vodka chicken skillet. I had those two. I had those two.
Starting point is 00:52:29 The vodka chicken skills awesome. And that would just eat dry cat food. And my mouth feels fucking crazy. You could get, you could get other. other food, it would just be less nutritious. That's the only I'm in my house, Nick. The only way you can get other food, Aiden, I can tell you right now is by going to HungryRootcom slash the Yard and using code the yard.
Starting point is 00:52:45 You get 40% off the first box plus a free item in your box for life, dude. I've been sitting at home. I pretend like the cat food still is hungry root and I pre-ported. You are, you have like a million dollars. I understand what is stopping you. You go to Hungry root. slash the yard. Use go to the yard.
Starting point is 00:53:03 Hungry. Oh my God. You just go to the yard. You have 40% off your first box are free item to twist your life. But you're like freaking out emotionally instead of going hungry to com slash the yard. You're making a fake hungry with cat food for your cats.
Starting point is 00:53:15 This cat food is smoothie. It's hungry root. It's hungry root. It's hunger root.com slash yard. And whoever killed Anders will find you. So who's the narque on our lovely company retreat? We were at dinner. Last night it's a beautiful dinner.
Starting point is 00:53:28 We're having a great time. We're eating fucking Australian Wagyu. Wow. And it was fake waggy. It was fake waggy. It's way cheaper than regular ragu. But still good and whatever. Who gives of shit?
Starting point is 00:53:39 And we're talking about gaming. And Kelby's like, he's going deep into the conversation of like, now Ludwig. Okay, seriously. Who would win a brovie bro? Me or you. And then I'm telling him how the formats
Starting point is 00:53:53 kind of like about neutral games. And he goes, okay, okay. Out of everyone in the company. What games are you better than everybody at? And now we're talking about, like, that pedigree. And, and he's quite confident that he's the best gamer, or maybe it might be, uh, like, maybe shake, maybe Aiden. Shake.
Starting point is 00:54:14 Are you talking about who is the best at their best game? No, no, like overall. You enter a game. Why the fuck would it be shake? Are you the best at League of Legends? And then you go through or some shit like that. And shake is better than... What is Shake's second game?
Starting point is 00:54:27 Yeah, like what you can't even name it. This is what Kelby saying. Okay, interesting. I'm not here to defend the League of. I'm mad. You guys are mad. I don't care. What do I do with it? You just got to hold it. Because you're trying to argue me. I'm not the guy. I'm mad at Kelby, but he's not here. He's not here. And so then he starts, you know, talking about that, talking about league. It could be Aiden. And then he starts talking about you.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Fine. Yeah, because he's like, well, do you include slime? Like, he's in the office. Maybe slime is better than me at Dota. He's played a lot of Dota. Could be. And then, and then he gets over to hmm for league though it makes it dude it makes it sound like kelvi is just
Starting point is 00:55:07 saying this to himself with everyone watching silently yeah it's like like knife on plate everyone left the table 20 minutes ago we're cutting a pee
Starting point is 00:55:15 and half all right the salt takers me and the pepper slime and we're both in midlife and the question comes up of
Starting point is 00:55:24 it's Kristen he's passed out in a chair he's just talking to wait wait wait wait is slime gets broad the conversation I don't get brought in the conversation. I'm a part of this?
Starting point is 00:55:34 Like, no disrespect, not once. I'm melting, your name didn't come up one time. How many games does Kelby get it? I think that spiritually means I'm more a part of the office than Nick. Which means I was exempt. In Kelby's eyes, at the very least. Kelby's games were Apex,
Starting point is 00:55:52 a marathon. League? Was he kind of good at league? He said he gives league to shake. Let me guess the finals, uh, split games. Portal 2 PbPB. Dude in the group chat
Starting point is 00:56:06 When you guys were posted What a guy who Who plays the finals Who is into the finals looks like Just posting different photos And cut webwebs like Fucking come on dude Yeah I get on Steam and I see the gaming
Starting point is 00:56:21 Smiler is playing the finals And I said with Steam messrs that said Me after eating my cat like a hamburger Hey bro get on the finals Steam Joy And then my response to Nick Can he sent me that? Kyle posted it in our friend Discord and so now I got free reign in
Starting point is 00:56:37 front of everybody. So I found a picture of a guy who reviewed the dude perfect sourmelin blast of body armor flavor at 7-11 and he's holding to the camera. It's amazing. I think they discontinued it. And is a guy holding it to the camera in a Denver Broncos jersey and he's balding and he's like, bro, hop on the finals. Hop on the finals. Mandy gets back later. We can play until she comes home.
Starting point is 00:56:57 She's working a double. It's so funny that Kyle will be like, yeah, I don't play that luck, that's garbage. What does Kelby got in the bank, bro? He got a few games. I mean, to be fair, he's... I give him Apex. He's got a StarCraft, too.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Apex Halo, StarCraft, Marathon. Yep. And... You give him leak. Huh? No, I think you get this shake. Oh, in the whole office? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Oh, that was versus you. No, no, no, it's the whole office. But anyway, he's got a few. But, but, you know, it's hard to prove any of this. It's kind of just conjecture. But then he was like, who's better at league? You were slime.
Starting point is 00:57:34 Like who would get, I guess a higher rank in mid first. Talking to me. Yeah. And I said, I was at the table. You know, I'm fucking two glasses.
Starting point is 00:57:43 I got a red blend. Oh, look what he's about, look how he's setting this up, bro. And I go, I got, fuck,
Starting point is 00:57:47 me, no questions asked. Mm. And this is in the privacy. You say no questions asked? Oh. Do you allow yourself to space? To space?
Starting point is 00:57:56 They didn't lift that fire under me once. Do you have the space to allow yourself to maybe consider? that it's not no questions that I did it. It's the race and mid. It's the mid race. I didn't question it. I didn't question it.
Starting point is 00:58:09 Really? Is it no question? Is it because the blended red? This would be a stream of his fucking year. Maybe. Give me a two glasses of the blended red. There's no questions. I will make a, I will make a call she account for this.
Starting point is 00:58:23 Maybe I would have, maybe I would have questioned it if I didn't have the red blend. But I get to the same conclusion. It's just the confidence in my conclusion was quicker. Maybe I got a little confidence when I have wine. Lud. Can I get my opinion? Well, before that, there's a hole.
Starting point is 00:58:40 There was a leak. There's a mole. Because this is at the company dinner. And this, I get a message from slime within like 45 minutes. What did I say, bro? And it's like, he's just spamming the classic emote.
Starting point is 00:58:51 No, no, I'm stressing. I can't, I can't. I can't. He's spamming, I can't. I said, 1251 a.m. 9-11, never forget. did you really say you would beat me in a mid race to gold brother i grew up in mid you wake up at 710 a m i think i get there
Starting point is 00:59:08 i said i think i get there yeah 1119 i reply you don't even have any champs i can't ludwig i just get there i said i mean throw down the gauntlet or literally sit random kid i can't and then yes and you were saying i find a boring gallio mid or lux and i just get there yeah and so So this actually is... Oh my God, your luck. This is interesting because it does highlight the difference between me and Ludwig
Starting point is 00:59:35 and the ongoing theory that Nick has in the way we all approach games is similar to our personalities. But Ludwig would take this task as a task. He would use Claude to figure out what's the fastest way to get to Mid. He'd then fuck Claude.
Starting point is 00:59:48 I would not use Claude. And then he would ask Clod. Give me a little more credit. I would go to the biggest streamer on the league category. I would find them and I would say who's the best for Mid. This is essentially Claude.
Starting point is 00:59:59 Well, but Claude is... You know what I'm saying? No. You were looking for a neutral skip solution. I'm looking for a neutral skip solution to finding the fastest way to achieve this goal like a robot. Yes. Meanwhile, I am thinking...
Starting point is 01:00:11 You're thinking who's the most breathtaking? You put all the chances you line them up. And then you start licking your lips, you go, Zb. Take off the mask. Yes, yes. And I say, and this is my little toys, and it's Tom Kensfall, I burn Diana. And then Vigar joins the fight.
Starting point is 01:00:25 And I'm like, look at all my little toys who I love. I love it. Play with it. I love their feeling. Play with it for me. the way they look and the way they feel and the way they are. And I, and there's a, I love there. Is that you, Fiora?
Starting point is 01:00:36 Okay. Fior, could you play down in mid for me? I'd like to say something. I, I want a safe space for it to not come off as offensively. Can everyone agree or try to agree? It sounds like it's only going to be offensive to me. I don't think, I don't think he wouldn't preface for me. I think it'll be an interesting test between two play styles and mid.
Starting point is 01:00:52 One who is someone who limit tests much more, but absorbs a bit slower. the information being tested and someone who limit tests not at all I feel like wearing a beer helmet and someone who lit tests not at all but absorbs a bit quicker I actually
Starting point is 01:01:12 what is better more information in or less information in that you absorb more of I think Nick and it's interesting you set up the question this way because there's a definitively correct answer
Starting point is 01:01:24 do you think I don't know if there is I actually know there is and I think the way slime plays games trying to hit gold, if you're trying to hit a middle rank in a video game, it's the Ludwig way. I don't know that's true. Yes it is. I've proved it. In jungle, no, you shotgun in the bush. You're a gold player and you're talking your gold. I want. Bro, in mid, you're not even gold. He's not even gold in mid. I'm flat. Not in mid. I'm with Nick on this. It's a different game. I know
Starting point is 01:01:53 obviously you're also gold bro. We watched you play mid bro. I threw up in my lap. It's a holocaust. I You're a Gallio. It looked like it was your first week on. I hear you. It was. But I'm also a plat player. Right? So it's like,
Starting point is 01:02:06 and I appreciate you having a perspective because that's awesome. Like we all should have one. He had the conviction to hit plat. But bro, like tweet out on the five-faller fucking account about your League of Legends thoughts because us fucking plat plus,
Starting point is 01:02:19 that's what we call ourselves. Plat plus. Even grandmasters are still plat plus. I hate the world tour jerk off session of every time of rank resets in any game everyone hops on they play fucking two games cement their rank and then they don't
Starting point is 01:02:33 leave for seven months I hate it I hate it I hate it Will you guys please Erase in mid Please He keeps denying my pussy I want his pussy bad
Starting point is 01:02:43 He loves your pussy so bad Can I please Can I please Private message you ma'am Please Please please please Please give him a taste Please
Starting point is 01:02:51 I'm just busy Oh my god He said no I'm busy You're literally scared I was a random kid who's scared How are you going to be in all that vvette And not pull up
Starting point is 01:03:04 I'm busy You are literally scared They're almost everything in the blackjack table They're actually convincing me right now Yeah I eventually will do it I just can't do it because I got Shut up I got shit coming up
Starting point is 01:03:14 Can I ask you something Did nothing consider Okay by the way the way this leaked I play Valor for the first time in years Oh my God Which is honestly really funny stream I load into a group It's a four stack of people
Starting point is 01:03:25 Who are only speaking Chinese And like in a sense pre-round they are speaking Chinese to each other and I'm like oh okay I was like hey guys hate to be that guy for the purpose of this game do you guys know English which is kind of an ironic or a redundant question because if they didn't
Starting point is 01:03:40 but I think you know you get the point across and then this sounds like a teenage girl just goes yes dude we're not stupid my fault I'm sorry and then I said if they want to talk to me they will talk to me and that's okay and then they're like 10 year I think they're all it had to be like a family or something
Starting point is 01:03:56 because there was like a 10 year old in the stack and he's just laughing, literally laughing and just going, and I drop a gun because I wanted to peek with a scout and then pick up my vandal on cap and I, my vandal is just in tree and I drop it and I'm ready for you. The Phoenix, the 10 year old comes up, steals my gun, sells his and just laughs at me. Oh my God. And I was like, no, I was going to peek and then use that gun and he just keeps laughing at me. And then the round starts and I say six, seven and I miss my shot.
Starting point is 01:04:25 so this is kind of what I'm saying is doing this is living testing this was gonna ask you I'm streaming and Tim Tim 64 comes in my chat The 67P doesn't work Tim 64 comes into my chat and he says Which is crazy
Starting point is 01:04:43 He was the moment it happened What a fucking NARC Tim is Because Tim loves the league era Because he was streaming my offline League games and breaking it in as a streamer bro. He's got like a thousand CTV And so I'm I'm in there
Starting point is 01:04:58 And Tim just leaves a message And it's one he's never sent He's like Just wants you to know Ludwig just said in real life That you would lose to him In a race to gold By the way closing stream after this
Starting point is 01:05:08 So you'll never I'll never hear What you're about to say after this And I don't care Goodbye Beas That is so funny He's a genius
Starting point is 01:05:17 He didn't have a draw a wand Yeah He's not a genius Here's why Because after it I said Oh wow Interesting message Tim I just want to say that it's a pleasure to have you in the chat all the time and you're a really special person in my life.
Starting point is 01:05:29 You know what he said the next day? I appreciate what you said about me in the chat. Yeah. You're fucking looking. Yeah. I'm like you're waiting. Trick me. That's dude.
Starting point is 01:05:39 Great play. I think you right. Thank you. Thank you. Wow. That's smart. Dude, I know you were playing Valour because Aiden fucking. Aiden pissed me off this trip.
Starting point is 01:05:46 It sounds like he's a real fucking thorn in your side. I pissed you off this trip? Yes. Denham to Denham. What did he do, bro? So first, I'll just start, I'll just start for starters, very beginning of the trip. We get to the fucking airport. And he's being fucking annoying because I wanted to win the million dollars from the Mr. Beast book.
Starting point is 01:06:07 And they had a Mr. Beast book standout. And I was trying to film a video with him to send a Mr. Beast. But he wasn't playing a lot. He wasn't playing nice. Why aren't you playing nice with me? He wasn't playing nice with me. It's a dream to have a video of me sent to Mr. Beast. I know, bro.
Starting point is 01:06:20 And I had him next to it. And it was like he was at fucking gunpoint. I'll send you the videos. It was like he was that goddamn gunpoint. Why do you have an attitude now? He's got an attitude. Well, I'll tell you why he's got an attitude. Because then we sit down and we're
Starting point is 01:06:33 going, the plane's delayed. So he opens up his laptop. You know what he does on his laptop? Guess what he does? Oh my God. What does he use his eye message a lot? What does he do on his laptop? You couldn't guess in a billion years. It's the most insane thing. Okay, I'm going to guess. He plays a game of go. Yeah. He does work.
Starting point is 01:06:51 I like that guess, but it is. correct but I like that guy and I like it because it's accurate and infuriating to imagine you playing go on your laptop waiting for a delayed plane with your headphones with the earring Zippercup on the picture I sent first and then the video after he sits down he whips out his laptop
Starting point is 01:07:09 and he opens up Chase Bank and he starts pulling up his account net worth it's in this picture here's a picture in the act and he starts copying the amount of money in the bank account. And let me tell you, bro,
Starting point is 01:07:25 it's flush. Of course it is. And he's flexing on him, because you got no privacy screen protector. He's just flexing. Only you are sitting next. And everybody? Yeah, the phone's on military time. Yeah. In case I got a big fucking ready. I'm letting you get 2100.
Starting point is 01:07:39 Yeah. It's clean six figs. He's making high level trace. He's sending people the amount of money in his fucking account. I'm pissing you off with that. Yes, bro, because you're low-key flexing on me. I'm not flexing on you. You have millions of dollars in your bank account. You want to know the exact amount that you have in your personal checking right now.
Starting point is 01:07:55 It's millions. Well, it's not the exact amount, but it is funny to imagine that Ludwig might be mad at this because he doesn't know how to log into his chase account. Because I don't even know what a bank account is, right? I don't know what I'm chasing.
Starting point is 01:08:06 I'm just trying to fucking get on his level. Yeah. And that's not even my bank account. Yeah, it's the LS one. The LS bank account. Okay. Trying to do my job. And he's over a million dollars in that account.
Starting point is 01:08:17 And he's withdrawing. Yep, there's over a million. And he's withdrawing it all to his personal. I don't know why. Wow. I don't know why. He said it was for business. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:08:27 Man, you should buy a Bugatti, actually. So he said, why else was I pissing you off this trip? Name me another thing. Is that how I pissed you? No, you know what is important. Let's see. Let us judge. Yes.
Starting point is 01:08:39 Take a picture with Jimmy. You turn it up. Getting closer. Getting closer. Not afraid. Oh, he does not want to do this. Say, say, you could win a million. You could win a million.
Starting point is 01:08:52 Mr. Bees. What? Mr. Bees. I loved your book. I loved your book. Jimmy, I loved your book. What'd you like about it? What'd you like about it?
Starting point is 01:09:01 He didn't know. He didn't know. Say something. Get closer. I liked your grit in the book. Please give us a million dollars. He's so done. And that's a million dollars.
Starting point is 01:09:15 And now I realize why he didn't give a fuck about the Millie because he pulled out a Millie from the IRS. Because he already had a million pocket. He already had to look out. Why I care about a million? when you got a millie. Because we're walking through the airport and Ludwig keeps yelling like six feet behind me.
Starting point is 01:09:32 And I think, I kept thinking it's like, it'd be funny if I'm like his upset son who's embarrassed by his dad at the airport today. He does, that is a good, that is how it feels when Ludwig's around. You're like, dad, shut the fuck up. And I do this to people as well. Sometimes I'm the dad.
Starting point is 01:09:50 Josh man, mostly. I torture him. Then we get it on the plane, he starts raw dogging. He's raw dogging. He raw dogged for like a good 15 minutes. I don't know what the phone is going on. What did you think about during the raw dog? I'm thinking about...
Starting point is 01:10:02 I sent the picture of the raw dog. I got a picture of the raw dog too. I don't. You really were documenting it. I was documenting it. I was like, this guy's a fucking Nat Geo animal. Why were you a Nat Geo mode for that? And somehow I'm pissing you on.
Starting point is 01:10:13 That is a clean raw dog. I love when he does this. This is my favorite aid and tick. Dude, hey, hold on. Let's analyze. So one, drink in hand. He's holding onto it. That is a part of your brain that must...
Starting point is 01:10:23 Oh no, that's a naked juice, green monster naked juice. Like 50 grams of sugar. I didn't tell how much sugar it was. It's a lot of sugar he was because he didn't want to get it. Essentially a soda. He wanted to get an immunity boost, but they ran out. But yeah, it's a soda. He's not even his eye, his eyeline.
Starting point is 01:10:37 He's not even looking at his own screen. He is trying to avoid any stimuli, anything that might remind him of a phone or a Chinese device that he loves. Yep. And he's fully, he's covering his mouth. He is. Because he's like, I don't even want to speak. It's true.
Starting point is 01:10:49 I don't want to speak or be spoken to. If I was Aden's part. life partner, romantic life partner. This would be my favorite thing about him. It's just waiting for him to do this by himself and he doesn't think I'm looking. And I think, look how cute. It's my favorite thing you do.
Starting point is 01:11:02 The dichotomy is crazy because then you see in the background, someone who's just locked into their phone, can't even look away, zombie. Ben forward too, right? Scrolling. Like, it's such a beautifully framed image. And then Aiden, Aiden, the Chad raw doggar. The Chad, the plain raw doggar.
Starting point is 01:11:18 No, here's the thing. If he was Chad, that screen would be off. bitch. He would turn the screen off, but I think it's more Chad to have it on and look away. Yeah. I don't even need to look at it. I don't even need to turn it off because it's not even on in front of me. I am okay with temptation that I may not act on because the lion does not need to always act. He can sometimes observe. Do you guys ever feel like a passenger in your own life? Just watching what other people have to say about it. Do you ever feel that way? No, no. It's never come up for me.
Starting point is 01:11:45 It's been weird because it's been happening a lot like on the show and off the show. To who? It's just a feeling I've had. Oh, you know, did you have this. Oh, I spent 20K on this dog. Yeah, well, I'm serious. Unfortunately, you just can't see you in the dogs. You did spend too much money on this trip?
Starting point is 01:12:02 So we had a challenge. Oh my God, we didn't do it today. We didn't do it yet. I was kind of expecting it. Do we spoil? No, I mean, we should, we need to do. I mean, we can spoil what the challenge is. We just, we already talked about it.
Starting point is 01:12:13 So on the company retreat, the idea is like, you know, this is a team building, everybody's there together. Let's do something fun. we have this like scavenger hunt of sorts. We have a set of tasks for three teams of five people that they do around the town. And one of the main things that each group has to do
Starting point is 01:12:30 is five, it's called the penance of slime. So for all of the terrorism committed in the office over the years, each team gets to pick out an outfit that slime will wear on the podcast of our choice. And we'll pick it as a group from what we source
Starting point is 01:12:49 between everybody. And the question was asked, and I made a mistake, what's the budget? And I said, you know what? No, no budget. No budget.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Full of it. Keep it reasonable. And just think about it. It's supposed to be a funny outfit for slime. You know, we come back. The outfits are chosen. We're all sitting in a circle in the living room. We're having a nice time.
Starting point is 01:13:19 we're making jokes. The last thing we do is a fashion show of the outfits where each team captain. Who modeled? There's captains themselves. Me, Aden, and Nick Yingo. And Cam actually modeled. Oh, yeah, Candidants. So, so each there's one person in charge of the budget or
Starting point is 01:13:35 like spending money on the stuff you buy for the scavenger hunt, and that's me, Ludwig, and Yingo, the people with company cards. And I thought our group got a little overzealous. We're in this car, we're in Carmel by the Sea, this very expensive town with a bunch of rich old people. Is that the same as cake by the ocean?
Starting point is 01:13:53 I'm not making a joke. No. It's... They're cousins. Yeah. They probably know each other. It feels like the same thing. A lot of the clothes in this town are really expensive.
Starting point is 01:14:05 And we end up deciding to buy this one item that I don't want to spoil yet. And it's $350. It's pretty expensive. And I'm like, you know what? We're probably going to spend the most out of... everybody if we buy this item, but I think this whole fit as like a selection is really funny and the whole team really wants to buy it. We'll lock it in. Then we shared the budgets at the end of this. You, I spent a little more. I spent, I spent, I spent around maybe 850. And then,
Starting point is 01:14:36 because because there's a lot of pieces in our outfit because we had, we had, we had sunglasses. We had a, we had, we like, it's like a six piece. A six piece outfit. And I'm like, I'm like, this is perfect. This is perfect. Probably the most we'll ever spend. Bossman spent more than me. So now I can't be in trouble. Bossman doubled my budget.
Starting point is 01:14:55 That helps a lot. I'm in the green. Cam walks out. Really, Yingo. This is Yingo's fucking job. Cam is wearing the outfit. Yep. Walks out in front of everybody.
Starting point is 01:15:06 And everybody's like, wait, this is just an incredible outfit. Like, you didn't, this isn't really the prompt. He's scammed. And then we look at the whole thing. And everybody's like, how much did you guys spend on this outfit? And you know, they spent two grand on this outfit.
Starting point is 01:15:25 They spent two thousand dollars. And yet he put a gun barrel to my head for buying a Sibby in five years ago. And I'm looking at Ludwig. I'm looking at Ludwig. Like, say something. Too late now. And here's the thing is Cam thinks he's getting a piece of the outfit. He's not.
Starting point is 01:15:41 He's not. That's right. You can't reward him. I think that was the thing. It's like Cam clearly thought. that slime's going to wear it and then I'll get it. No, no. Slime gets to keep all of it and do what he pleases. I might burn it in front
Starting point is 01:15:53 of everyone. He might put it in the dumpster. I think their group just decided what if we bought a really nice outfit for camp? And to be honest, it would look great on, like you'll look great. You would look great. I think it's a good outfit because it juxtaposes maybe the other outfits because it's just
Starting point is 01:16:08 like, it's just a different look that would be cool to see on you. Is it like one a week for a while or how are we doing it? Yeah, so. I was thinking you do a couple costume changes. Oh like we do like a episode where he goes into the closet.
Starting point is 01:16:22 It was like the trash taste episode we did where we kept switching out. Timer. Timer. Every 10 minutes a new outfit. Yeah. How many outfits are there? Gart.
Starting point is 01:16:30 Three. Gart, what do you think of this one? Every 20 minutes is a lot. Gart. Gart. Gart, she liked the late from the shorts. Gart. Look at my monkey, Gart.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Yeah, you can look at my monkey, gar. Okay, hold on a sec. Hold on. Just hold your horses. now if I do this am I now forgiven? Yeah, it's your rent. Yeah, you're forgiven for a year.
Starting point is 01:16:51 You paid your rent. A year? Well, presuming you keep the same behavior up. Yeah. Let me tell you this for you guys. Okay. Everyone besides like three people in this office are in love with me.
Starting point is 01:17:06 Yeah, that's enough though. If one person in the office didn't like you, that'd be enough. Three people who work here don't are unhappy with you? They're not even unhappy with me. They just have a reason to be angry. That's what I'm. So that's what I'm saying. It's like, it's not about like hitting majority here.
Starting point is 01:17:17 You know what I'm saying? It's like, Everyone in the office is in love with me. Okay, 100%. They love me. But, but hypothetically, one guy. Yep. One guy farted on the back of his head that one time.
Starting point is 01:17:28 One guy is addicted to a dead game. And one time I farted into his mouth. One time. You fart in the background of a Nintendo call. And I have to wear, I don't know what's Nintendo. And he didn't have his on-air thing on. It's just kidding. It's just not, it's just not as fault.
Starting point is 01:17:44 It's not an excuse. Then why have the on-air thing? Kelby could be wearing a t-shirt that says, please fart in my mouth. I don't even think it's still probably not chill. Why? That's the t-shirt. I don't think we had them yet.
Starting point is 01:17:54 I mean, we got the on-air things because of that incident. Is that the case? Then this was literally two years ago, and you guys holding on to that is bad for your mind. I'm not holding on of it. I'm just saying that the penance is deserved. It's about my mental. It's about my mental health.
Starting point is 01:18:09 I said it. I think it's another episode where a guy was like, because there are people that just genuinely hate some of us on the pod, right? And they'll watch every single episode, and they'll be like, bitch about one single person. We all kind of have these guys. I think I have a couple more. But this one guy was so upset with me because he wanted me to get fired because he said it was a workplace violation that I may have farted into Kelby's mouth because he genuinely thought that I did that. And then at the second paragraph, he said, even if he didn't do that, joking about that is also not okay.
Starting point is 01:18:43 And I'm like, you're listening to podcast, comedy podcast. What do you want? What is happening? What is happening? What do you want us to talk about? What? Anyway, I just keep thinking about that guy because I want him to believe that I farted in Kelby's mouth, so I will make it true.
Starting point is 01:18:54 There was a guy on Atriok subreddit who confessed he hated me because he heard Aetriok talking about how I played Counter-Track at the office. Yes. And he confessed and he was like, I hate you because I am, he admitted it too. He said it explicitly. He's like, I imagine you playing Counter-Strike at the office. eight hours a day and I hate you for it. And I was like, that's crazy, man. That's crazy. We should have someone do all the research of like every time Reddit or YouTube comments has
Starting point is 01:19:24 complained about the show and then design from it like the ideal episode for the listener. And then we can we can perform the ideal episode. Dude, it's giving them too much. Because I don't know, like you're saying we all have some. I don't know one. Well yeah, because you don't read comments. You don't care. That's fine. It's better not to care. I do though. And Sometimes it's interesting enough. Because most people like it a lot. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:46 Yeah. They're having such a good time. Yeah. Most people like it a lot. Every time I learned there's a viewer who hates me, it is delivered to me by slime on a plate. He goes, look at what this guy said. And I'm like, I would have missed it. Not to hurt him or something.
Starting point is 01:19:58 I'm just like, look how crazy this is. Yeah. And it's not a lot of people. It's always a minority, meaning less. It's always a minority. Number one. A fewer number. And I look into their background.
Starting point is 01:20:12 I see who they are. I see where they're from. Dude, I've been downloading fucking apps recently. I heard about this. How are the apps? You got tech, you got tech,
Starting point is 01:20:21 maybe gear, you got some gizmos? He was saying, he was saying he just scrolls Rocket Money. He's, and not an ad, but he's just trying to get out of the vortex. Not hashtag ad,
Starting point is 01:20:31 but I have been scrolling Rocket Money. Just see what all sorts of things that I'm buying and whatnot. I want to see what your Rocket Money looks like. You're fucked up Rocket Money page. It's crazy. I spent a lot of money on my credit card. What else you're scrolling?
Starting point is 01:20:42 I got a, This one's been pretty cool. It's called MiaoDoku. If you play for 30 minutes, you'll sleep better. There's a cat and a hamster wheel. It's the number one game on the app store for casuals. Casuals. If you look at your phone before bed, you'll sleep better.
Starting point is 01:20:56 Does you tell me? If you play Miaooku, I guess. And then I got a couple more out. I got Substack. You're reading on Substack. Subsack turns out, though, really racist people on there. Really? Yeah, a lot of racist.
Starting point is 01:21:10 A lot of really racist, like, sort of. And I think it's like, I think it's like what you make of it, like who you follow. But when you just get that app, I was going to say, isn't it an algorithm? When you just, I just got the app. The algorithm. I just got the app. I'm browsing the app. Your default substack profile as you load into the game, level one starting zone is
Starting point is 01:21:28 one's your racist writing. They see the name. They see Ludwig Ogren. I think that's it. And then they're like, well, he probably. Would you like this Ludwig Ogren? I'm just going to scroll on apps. Dude, I've been on this app recently.
Starting point is 01:21:40 I basically just like stare at this. Like an hour I just stared at this for like an hour And I don't even remember the hour past And do you feel like good? Let me try Oh He looks serene
Starting point is 01:21:55 I'll say that Oh I feel better I think he likes it Suck it You know what Welcome back Do you guys ready to start
Starting point is 01:22:06 You know what I want What do you want I want from you Because You guys He did these league graces. We got all these games that we're good at. I think I want to see what it would be like for you to play Mogi Lounge.
Starting point is 01:22:21 How long it would take you guys to get good at competitive Mario Car Week. I was like, what is Mogi Lowe? They changed it, right? They have a little release recently. They didn't change Lounge. They did have a big update. And I straight of think I'd be the fucking truth, man. You might be. I think I'd figure it out.
Starting point is 01:22:38 Not bad, not immediately, but I think I would get there. I think I have potential. Nick has like a genetic racial. passive to Nintendo when Mario Party games get into Nintendo games Yeah like your World or Warcraft like Race has a as an ability
Starting point is 01:22:54 Like orcs can be stunned for less time You're better at Nintendo games I'll say when Yoshi in the game When Walloichi in the game I'd do better at game When Waluji in the game he's good He's good Wai Luigi number one
Starting point is 01:23:05 Wait so but what is it they have like Mario Kart We decompiled or something Yeah so they released like The PC native version of the game. So this mod called Retro Rewind got really popular because largely, I would say, because you can play it on Dolphin. And the previous popular mod, you had to have a Wii and a disc to play it, which is an
Starting point is 01:23:27 intentional decision by that developer because it makes it really hard to hack. And also his theory is that if you don't need a ROM for the mod, Nintendo's less likely to take you down. Of course. Probably true. Given how long it's been around, I would argue there's merit to his argument. Yeah. And that they don't throw tournaments, which is probably the bigger reason. Yeah. And well, but like Pokemon ROM things and stuff get taken down all the time.
Starting point is 01:23:51 Or like other like Nintendo mod projects get taken down. So why is this like... Videos using it get taken down. Why is this? The Pokemon stuff is that, is Pokemon Company still separate? Pokemon Company is separate. So it's tough. partially so it's one third owned by Nintendo. But it's pursued by Pokemon Company usually. Yeah. Good on them for holding strong for that long. But other Nintendo ROM stuff. Other Nintendo ROM stuff, yeah. Other Nintendo ROM stuff, gets taken down. And this mod for
Starting point is 01:24:15 Mario Kartwee has been CTGP was super super popular. So why is it survived? It's like it could be because of this. And then the competitive scene uses it because the anti-cheat. It's really difficult to hack and cheating in the game used to be a huge, huge problem. But
Starting point is 01:24:31 now the more popular more casual way of playing on Dolphin became more popular than the competitive mod. So it kind of like split the scene. So unless you're playing like, it's kind of like needing to download face it actually. It's like there's a smaller pool of competitive players that are willing to like download face it and go play. And then and that's CTGP. But now instead of this like dolphin way of
Starting point is 01:24:54 running the game, they have a fully native version on PC that's been really. So it's going to be easier to like add mods to the game. You can run it at like 120 or 180 fBS if you want to. Oh, easier to hack. But it's also easier to hack. There are cheaters. And they have like a really active moderation team, which like Nintendo never had for the actual servers, right? Yeah. But it still needs to be a moderation team versus like just not being able to cheat at all. Yeah, you have to have it staffed. Yeah. But it's out out already.
Starting point is 01:25:22 It's, uh, the beta is out. I guess it's a beta. You know what I'm surprised by in Counterstrike is how come like, okay, maybe anti-cheat is hard without going kernel level. Maybe Valves can't figure it out. I don't know what the fucking problem is why cheating is all even so bad. I never done anything about it. I think it has to be colonel. But why do they not moderate the leaderboard?
Starting point is 01:25:40 Yeah, they just don't care. They just let the top like 100. of the leaderboard, all be cheaters. This is exactly like how Mario, because Mario Kartwee had built in time trial leaderboards. And I remember booting them up as a kid and you'd like, oh, I want to see the Toad's
Starting point is 01:25:55 factory world record. And then the first four times are like zero minutes, zero seconds, 0.3 milliseconds. The name of the thing is TAS police. And it's like, we all know it's not real. The replay doesn't
Starting point is 01:26:11 load when you download it. What a sobering moment as a little kid to be like, ah, the wonder of the world, who's the best? It's just fake. It's probably some whackamol shit where it's like they... But surely, I know what you're going to say, but like that infinite whackamole. Surely someone's job at Valve,
Starting point is 01:26:27 all the people that are doing fucking nothing could be, hey, at 8 a.m., I show up and I delete the top 50 people on the leaderboard. I am. Because, dude, like the call to the leaderboard forever was just, okay, the first 5,000 people, their kills are a negative number and there's an E in it. I don't think they killed E players.
Starting point is 01:26:46 It's like a Bellatro score. Maybe we just get rid of that one. But what if we just got rid of it? You don't have to ban the player. Just take them off the leaderboard. Just have a true leaderboard. So the incentive to cheat to get on the leaderboard disappears.
Starting point is 01:26:58 I imagine it makes more cheaters because you're like, oh, I want to be number one on the global leaderboard. That's kind of funny. My name would be on everyone's screens. The big question is you are coming, you are arriving to this idea right now and maybe you've thought about it before.
Starting point is 01:27:10 and the idea is that the people at these game companies have thought about it for longer and yet haven't done this. What is the, why is that? That's the big question. The fucking guys at Valve that won a national math competition when they were 13 years old
Starting point is 01:27:26 and don't have a title and show up at the office and jerk off and make $600,000 a year. They, the thing is, they're incredibly smart. They're incredibly smart. You put the Descar on wheels, dude. It's given as a salad bar. And they...
Starting point is 01:27:39 And they... And I feel like one of them could be deleting the guys at the top of the leaderboard. I feel like that. But hey, at Valve, if you don't want to work on it, you don't have to. You get on the yacht and you eat the salad bar. And you go to Hawaii at the end of the year, man. What a dream. You're going to sign that contract there.
Starting point is 01:27:57 You get to, you get a commitment from Gaman. It's like, I'll take you to the promised land. When the nuclear holocaust and or AI Holocaust happens, you will join. You will join me on the fleet. And we will live in New Zealand forever. You gotta be in his inner circle and you can't be if you've banned one cheater. Like, yeah, maybe. Maybe Gaben has rules for himself.
Starting point is 01:28:17 Gaben says don't ban any cheaters. Let it figure itself out. He's a libertarian gamer. I'm Gaben. I wear sweatpants when I present the international. That's what? I don't care. You can go fuck.
Starting point is 01:28:32 I don't fucking care. Do you have a billion dollars fucking kill yourself. I'm Gaben. Can you let the N-word fly in Dota? like you do in CS. Is it the same? Yeah, that's a great place to go to the Patreon.
Starting point is 01:28:43 Dude, a place where we let the NWRD fly. Oh my God, that's the dog I bought for 20K. Okay, anyway, it's going to be delivered to the office soon. No.
Starting point is 01:28:49 No. I'd take a crazy dump. I've to take a crazy dump. Why did you buy that? See the Patreon. $20,000. That is amazing. I really do like it.
Starting point is 01:28:57 I love it. I really do like it. Guys, we'll see you in the Patreon episode. We'll see you there and there'll be more stuff like this there. Why did you do that?
