The Young Turks - Chicken & Waffles - September 21, 2026

Episode Date: September 22, 2026

Donald Trump is weighing whether to expand the Iran war as the conflict continues to disrupt the Strait of Hormuz and put pressure on U.S. forces and global energy markets. The administration also dec...ided against joining Saudi Arabia in strikes on the Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, for now, amid concerns about the wider consequences of opening another front. Meanwhile, Israel’s leading U.S. advocate is pushing for deeper integration of the American and Israeli military industries. Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to The Young Turks, the online news show. Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars. You're awesome. Thank you. When West Jet first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different. People thought denim on denim was peak fashion. Inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked, the Rachel. While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when West Jet welcomes you on board.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Here's to West Jetting since 96. Travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years. I don't play with lines. I don't play with those. I don't even do roller coasters. Well, hello. With today's show, and I promise you it was not intentional. It was kind of on accident. But a lot of the news stories today seem to have a similar theme. And that theme has to do with foreign countries and their way of influencing our policies here in the United States. States. And it's something that I think more and more Americans are awake and aware of, which is a good thing because for many decades, as this has gone on, no one has noticed, no one has cared,
Starting point is 00:01:53 and certain decisions were being made that we couldn't really understand, but now we have an understanding of just how many cooks we have in the kitchen. Welcome to TYT. I'm your host, Anna Kasparian. I haven't slept much. I was in Chicago just yesterday giving a speech at the annual Chicago Care Gala. And for those of you who aren't familiar, care is an organization. They have chapters throughout the country that seeks to provide a legal defense to Muslim Americans who might have been discriminated against or victims of hate crimes, things like that. Actually, there was a really touching story shared during the event yesterday about a man who ended up getting convicted for a crime he did not commit. He served 30 years in prison.
Starting point is 00:02:38 But while he was in prison, he learned about different faiths, and I guess he became Muslim. And it's really interesting how religion is interpreted differently by different people, because the way that Muslims are kind of talked about in the United States, they're described as like these angry, like evil, savage people. But this is a man who was wronged in the worst kind of way. He had 30 years of his life robbed from him. And he had this serene calmness about him, this peace about him that I think I could find a little bit of that in my own life. You know, not saying that I'm going to find it through religious doctrine, but it was really interesting to see that. And his story was really touching anyway. So thank you for anybody who caught the live stream. For anyone who didn't catch the live stream, I'm sure it's out there somewhere.
Starting point is 00:03:28 But for today's show, we're going to talk a little bit about the escalation trap that President Donald Trump finds himself in. That trap is very real. And unfortunately, escalation trap doesn't just mean that Trump is trapped. It means we're trapped. So we'll discuss some of the different facets of the Iran war updates. We're also going to talk about Trump not really knowing what he wants to do as it pertains to Ansarala or the Houthis, as they're commonly known. He's getting pressured quite a bit by Saudi Arabia to get involved. Is he going to get involved?
Starting point is 00:04:04 Well, there's a pretty big story in the New York Times today that's going to make you question whether Trump is into tacos or whether he's into waffles. But that's going to be an interesting story. Can't wait to share that with you. And later, we're going to discuss the neocons freaking out over the fact that the polls aren't lying. Most Americans at this point are sick of the U.S. alliance with Israel. So what type of proposal does Mark Dubowitz have?
Starting point is 00:04:32 We're going to talk about that and more. As always, just want to encourage you to like and share the stream if you're watching us live. Take it easy on me today. All right, guys, I got in this morning. I've been up. I got two and a half hours of sleep. So if I make any mistakes, please understand that I'm making mistakes. And I will correct them and apologize if I do.
Starting point is 00:04:49 So just bear with me. But we do have an awesome show. And many of these stories were produced by my incredible producers. And some of them were produced by me when I wasn't sleepy yesterday. So let's get to our first story. I just spoke with President Trump about the situation with Iran. He tells Fox News he's in a deciding mode and that very big things are going to be happening in the not so distant future. The president described the current choices on the table as wiping Iran out, letting them rot economically or making a deal.
Starting point is 00:05:24 He added, my question is, if and when do I blow the entire nation up, they better behave? Well, I mean, as you can see there, President Trump went to his usual course of action, which is embarrassing, but nonetheless, he's threatening Iran with complete destruction again. Despite the egg on his face, that's the reality. And he knows, on some level, the big baby knows. He knows he lost the war. And so what does he do every time he's backed into a corner really has no easy options, doesn't want to take his ball and go home, doesn't want to confess, doesn't want to concede to the fact that he lost this war, he lashes out like a child, like a toddler.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Sometimes it's on social media. Sometimes it's during late night or early morning phone conversations with Trey Yinks. But there you have it. He's threatening Iran yet again. Now what does that mean for us? So key diplomatic hurdles remain unresolved as the Iran war enters its eighth month. Remember what it was supposed to last two weeks? Remember when all those Israel lovers out there, people who have no idea what they're talking about, try to make people like me and Dave Smith out to be lunatics because we said that a two-week war was laughable, that this was going to turn into a quagmire, that this was going to turn into a forever war. Do you guys remember that?
Starting point is 00:06:49 Do those people ever apologize? Never, right? Never. Anyway, let me continue. So the strait of Hormuz still closed by the Iranians, and they have made it clear we are not going to open the straight unless the United States meets our terms. And their terms are very similar to what was in the MOU, you know, the very MOU that our president signed his name on the dotted line on, that MOU. But anyway, and the U.S. is doing the blockade of Iran's blockade of the Hormuz. straight. Okay, great. Okay, we're all struggling with gas prices. How great. Food prices are
Starting point is 00:07:26 through the roof and only going to get worse. Wow. Who's winning? No one's winning. This is a big nightmare. But okay, there's more. Israel still occupies 6 to 10 percent of southern Lebanon. And if you can recall, the MOU made it abundantly clear that Iran would not agree to end the war or even enter peace negotiations. If Israel didn't withdraw from land that does not belong to them in Lebanon, southern Lebanon. The U.S. maintains and continues to freeze $100 to $120 billion in Iranian assets. So we just froze their money. By the way, how would we feel if some foreign country had the ability to freeze our leader's money in order to extract concessions from him? Would you be okay with that? I wouldn't be okay with that. I'd be pretty furious about that.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Now, the truth is we do have a foreign leader that extracts whatever he wants from our presidents. And it doesn't matter who the leader of Israel is, they will extract what they want from our presidents. So it's not like I'm trying to speak all high and mighty as someone who lives in the sovereign country in the first place. But nonetheless, the conflict has spread outwards, as we all know. And of course, now there's this big war between Ansar al-A, the Houthis, and Saudi Arabia. and Saudi Arabia with all those hundreds of billions of dollars of weapons they purchased from U.S. defense manufacturers, they don't know how to use those weapons. Okay, they were living the good life, all right? They were living nice. I remember the real housewives
Starting point is 00:09:01 of Dubai and the expats that were like in Dubai and they're like, oh, I'm so much better than America. Is it? Is it better than America? You feel safe? You feel good? Yeah. Anyway, moving on. So yeah, it's absolute chaos in the Middle East right now. Both the United States and Iran are obviously unwilling to make, you know, any concessions at this very moment. In fact, Iran admitted that the United States has not signaled in any way, shape, or form that they're interested in diplomacy or interested in continuing negotiations. And making matters worse, UN ambassador, Mike Walts, spoke to CNN's Dana Bash yesterday, leaving open the possibility that the war will live. last much longer than we were all told in the very beginning by, you know, the experts like Gillian Michaels and Dave Rubin. Anyway, let's go to the next video.
Starting point is 00:09:52 More broadly on Iran, the Wall Street Journal reports the president's top advisors are warning that the Iran war could continue through the remainder of the president's term. We're talking 2029. Is that what you think? Well, I think that time with the president's strategy and Operation Economic Fury is on the president and on the United States side. The blockade is in place. When you say, so you said time is on our side. That means say yes, it could keep going until 2029. I don't, I wouldn't necessarily put a timeline on it, but I think the president is focused on his clear objectives that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon and that they are welcome to come back to the table when they're ready to negotiate in good faith. And meanwhile, maximum
Starting point is 00:10:42 pressure will stay in place on the regime's economy. And does this sound like you, you're lying in bed and suddenly you realize it's 2 a.m. And you've been doom scrolling for hours. That late night doomscroll doesn't just wreck your brain. It spikes your internal temperature. And when you're overheated, your body never hits that deep restorative sleep. The fix isn't in a new mattress or a renovation. It's your bed temperature.
Starting point is 00:11:07 That's where chili pad 2.0 comes in. This water-based topper slides right over your current mattress and runs from 55 to 115 degrees. While fans just push hot air around, chili pad uses actively chilled water to actually extract heat from your body. The 2.0 upgrades include a quieter dock with a bigger tank, a premium cover that zips off for washing, and my favorite, the nightstand remote has a sensor that knows when you climb in and fires up your schedule automatically. Dual zones lets you and your partner pick completely different temperatures and you both win. No subscription, just a two year warranty and built in the USA. Visit www.
Starting point is 00:11:46 www.sleep.m.me slash tYT to get up to $255 off your chili pad 2.0 with code TYT. That's www.sleep.sleep.m.m.m.m.m. E slash TYT, free shipping, free returns, and a 30-night trial. So you can test it out, dream big, and wake up better. The headlines will still be there in the morning. You might as well wake up ready for them. Okay, the only reason why I'm smiling is because there's nothing more entertaining than watching Dana Bash try to maintain her excitement.
Starting point is 00:12:23 Like try to compose herself as someone is talking about continuing destruction and and killings and the total like warfare on behalf of Israel. She's like, oh, you know, some people were worried about gas prices and people dying, but past 2029, really, could it go that long? Really? Anyway, all right, I'm speculating, obviously. And maybe I'm being unfair to her. But put that aside, look, what he's saying there is both delusional but also accurate.
Starting point is 00:12:51 So he doesn't want to put a timeline on the war because he knows full well that there's no end to this war, at least for now. We don't see a clear end to it. He's also very close to the state of Israel. That was Mike Walts. And he's, in fact, a big asset of Israel's. And Israel doesn't want the war to end, which is kind of interesting, given the weakness and vulnerabilities of the United States,
Starting point is 00:13:15 which is really the only country that's interested in providing the protection to Israel that it would need as this war continues. But okay. But he is telling the truth about how long the war is going to drag on. What Mike Walts is not accurate about and what he is delusional about, and maybe he's not delusional. I mean, he's lying clearly. No, time is not on our side. Homeboy, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:13:40 Trump got elected specifically because Americans or more Americans believed that he would tackle the affordability crisis in the United States. gas just hit $10 a gallon in some parts of California. And I get it. It's California. We've got the extra taxes. But I'm seeing complaints from Americans across the country. You got to remember, gas prices might be higher in California, but people make more money, generally speaking in California compared to, let's say, in the middle of Arkansas.
Starting point is 00:14:13 So the cost of living is higher, but people tend to make a little more money. So everyone is feeling it in the United States of America right now. everyone. The Iranian people see the war. And of course, the, you know, IRGC, they see this war as something far bigger than, oh, we want lower gas prices or we're being hurt economically. They see this as a fight for the survival of their country. So economic warfare hurts the West because we're spoiled babies. And we can't take this kind of pain. because this kind of pain ain't worth it. Our survival is not in jeopardy. There is nothing in it for us. So we are all paying a lot more for not just gas, not just diesel. Remember, higher energy prices
Starting point is 00:15:09 trickle down to every other sector of the economy. So we are dealing with inflation that is only to get worse. Americans don't want to deal with it. The West doesn't want to deal with it. People don't want to be rationing motor oil or diesel fuel. They don't want to go to the gas station and see that they can't get diesel fuel. And so the idea that the U.S. has this war on our side. The time is on our side is just, it's delusional. And he knows that. And I think the midterms will provide another data point for us to point to to prove it. But even though I'm just a dumb talk show host, I somehow understand something that our Treasury Secretary doesn't understand. Take a look.
Starting point is 00:15:55 On September 23rd, all the Iranian airlines, all the Iranian airlines will be shut down around the world. And how do we do that? That if they land, you cannot provide them with fuel. You cannot provide them with landing services. You cannot sell them tickets or you will be knocked out of the dollar system. And what we're seeing here, Joe, is we've seen enablers throughout the world. We know who they are, they know who they are, and we are putting a stop to it. So we've had now three banks that we have sanctioned.
Starting point is 00:16:27 The second largest bank in Egypt, the Dubai branch, funnel more than $1.8 billion into the regime. They will be closed down. About the 30th largest Turkish bank, same thing. They will be closed down. The reason why he sounds nervous is because he's lying and he is nervous. He knows that economic warfare against a country full of 92 million people who see this war as the fight for their survival. He knows that these economic sanctions ain't going to work.
Starting point is 00:17:00 He's lying to your faces. And he knows he's lying. That's why he sounds nervous. That's why he's out of breath every time you hear this guy speak. But anyway, again, I'm just a dumb talk show host who predicted every single part of this war correctly. So what are the experts saying? Well, Iranian officials said this weekend that they have no intention of backing down,
Starting point is 00:17:22 adding that to end the war, Washington must agree to its demands, including releasing frozen Iranian assets and lifting the blockade on Iranian shipments. I have an idea what if the United States actually sheds Israel as an ally and instead forms an alliance with Iran. Huh? Huh? Huh? Think about it. I think we'd be better off as a country, especially in this obviously multipolar world. But anyway, as we covered Friday, over 300,000 Iranians took to the streets in a government organized protest in support of Iran's war effort against the United States
Starting point is 00:18:03 and against Israel. So, you know, there is support for, you know, the current Iranian system and the Ayatollah that, I mean, it obviously made that clear when the Ayatollah's funeral was taking place. But this stalemate is absolutely dangerous. Now, as initial U.S. efforts to wage both military and economic warfare against Iran have failed, escalatory actions are kind of on the table now, and they're far more likely. And that's what a lot of people are worried about. So I'm sure many of you have heard of Professor Robert Pape. He is really the expert that's popularized, sorry guys, popularized the phrase escalation ladder when it comes to questions of warfare.
Starting point is 00:18:51 And I find a lot of his logic to be sound. Here's what he writes. With domestic gas prices skyrocketing and construction rapidly accelerating at pickax mountain, Iran's most fortified facility for weaponizing enriched uranium, the geopolitical clock is running out. Pressure is mounting on President Trump to deliver a decisive blow against Tehran before the pivotal midterm elections on November 2nd. I think that it would only hurt the Republicans if they did something about Pickax Mountain. And here's what they're actually thinking of doing. Rumors circulating through Washington suggests that this counter move could involve a tactical
Starting point is 00:19:33 nuclear strike. It's just a nuke. Like, I love how they're trying to rebrand nukes as like, you know, like a little baby nuke. You know, we don't be a nuk. No, it's a nuke. Like the tactical thing doesn't make it any better. Okay, but all right. So, yeah, a tactical nuke.
Starting point is 00:19:51 So proponents argue that because pig axe mountain is buried deep beneath hundreds of meters of solid granite, only an earth penetrating nuclear warhead possesses the raw kinetic power to collapse the facility. And I have no doubt that this is what Trump is hearing. People are in his ear. Netanyahu very likely is in his ear. And all he hears is this type of chatter. Like, ooh, pickax mountain, you said you would never allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon. I mean, he's the only one stupid enough to maybe actually believe that this is about nuclear weapons.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Anyway, and for those of you who are wondering, why is it that the price of diesel is so much more expensive than crude oil? Well, the biggest problem isn't actually the shortage of oil, although that is a problem. There's the added problem. Remember I was talking about oil and gas infrastructure getting destroyed as a result of this war and also the war between Ukraine and Russia. So you need refineries in order to refine crude oil into diesel. And refineries keep getting targeted in these wars. So there is a shortage of that. And there's also a shortage of oil tankers now because, you know, tankers keep getting attacked. So even if this war ended today, we are in for a lot of pain, economically speaking, and we have a government that hates us, so we can't really rely on them to look out for its people.
Starting point is 00:21:17 Anyway, so the Middle East is already kind of preparing for what they believe is going to happen, and they've been right every time, sadly. So they're getting ready for another round of bombing. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard warned that if an attack does take place, all U.S. bases and interests in the region will become targets of continuous, effective, and painful attacks without any limitations or considerations. I'm actually shocked that there are any U.S. military bases left. But I mean, I'm sure they have something in mind. Iran's leaders also pledged some of the reprisals would extend as far as U.S. naval forces in the Indian Ocean. And remember, they have fired some warning shots indicating that they are willing to potentially hit some of our carriers in the region.
Starting point is 00:22:09 Now, this is the backdrop. As president of Iran, Masoud Peseshkin, is scheduled to address the U.S. or I'm sorry, the U.N. General Assembly in New York tomorrow, which if you ask me, seems a little bit dangerous. You know, you have to be pretty brave to trust the U.S. in any way, shape, or form at this point, or the West in general. But nonetheless, he's planning on coming here to the U.S. for that UN General Assembly. And according to Iranian media, which could be inaccurate, but Iranian media claims that he plans to speak to the General Assembly and present Iran's perspective on the wars taking place in the Middle East. The Iranian delegation's attendance at the UN has renewed hopes for a diplomatic solution to the war, lifting market sentiment on Monday.
Starting point is 00:22:57 man, the markets are so stupid. It's so pathetic. With stocks rising, oil prices easing, and global bond yields falling sharply. Maybe people are just unbelievably optimistic. I don't know. I don't understand it at all. Like that news would not give me even an ounce of optimism. But okay. Now, despite his latest genocidal threat against Iran, Trump said that he would be open to meeting Possachian during the assembly. And with the midterms on the way, Trump's of course, just falling to record lows. This number is insane. So let's take a look at this. So look, I'm sorry, you're facing domestic pressure to reach an agreement on Iran and restabilize the global economy. Okay, Trump approval, job approval, only 29% approve. That is the lowest
Starting point is 00:23:48 approval he has recorded with any pollster in either term. That is wild. But well, Well deserved. Well deserved. Okay, well, we talked about Saudi Arabia a little bit, but let's flesh out that story when we come back from the break. Why would I want to blow up the global financial system? We got a moron here. What's up, everyone? Welcome to our first social break of the day. Music Matter says, I'm extremely tired of hearing the, we can never have a nuclear weapon. They can never have a nuclear weapon narrative, especially when Israel has nukes and is constantly attacking all of its neighbors. Totally. It's kind of interesting to see the before and after posts on X from people who are like, like, tepidly supportive of the Iran war just because they love Trump
Starting point is 00:24:56 and they're an occult. But once the gas price, I mean, who cares about like the 150 little girls that were slaughtered in like a U.S. double tap strike at the beginning of the war? Who cares about that? I support it. I support it. Okay. But when it comes to gas prices, suddenly like, oh, this is so bad. Live 18 white girl in our Twitch section says, if only Anna could swear during the main show. I think that to myself a lot. Kurt Signetti, I like that name.
Starting point is 00:25:30 It's a good name. Oh my God, I hope you enjoyed your time in our great city. Anna, man, I love Chicago. I got to say Chicago is nice. It was a bad weekend for weather. It was raining the entire time. But man, Chicago does food really well. L.A. is still better, but Chicago actually comes in number two. Sorry, New York. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:25:51 It's just true. Anyway, we've got 18 seconds. Time is moving by really fast today. All right, let's go or slow, I should say, not fast. I wish it was moving fast. John Taylor says Massey slash Casparian, 28. Man, his speech on the house floor was freaking fire. Let's get back to the show. Why would I want to blow up the global financial system? Yes, you did. Yes, you did. Look, President Trump is sending us all to the poor house, and pretty soon we're not going to get the nutrients we need.
Starting point is 00:26:52 If we're even getting the nutrients we need right now, and I want to look out for you. Okay, I want to look out for you by saying, save yourself, save your health, drink AG1. Okay, so if you're looking for an easy, consistent way to keep up with your nutrition, everyone's thinking about that. I highly recommend AG1. It's a daily health drink. It's really a multivitamin. And multivitamins are fantastic if you find the right one. And I personally think AG1 is great because it helps maintain my energy.
Starting point is 00:27:22 Even today, I had barely gotten any sleep last night, two and a half hours. And it supports my gut health and immune system. One scoop and eight ounces of water. And that's it. That's amazing. Their next generation formula has 75 ingredients, more than 75. ingredients clinically shown to fill in common nutrient gaps. We all have those gaps. We all have those gaps in our nutrients. Come on, let's keep it real. Everyone tests low for D, vitamin D.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Okay. All right. Anyway, if you want to learn more, all you have to do to get 20% off your first order or your first subscription order of AG1 NextGen or AG1 Pro at drinkag1.com slash t-y-t. That's the URL. That's drinkag1.com slash t-y-t, and you'll get 20% off your first subscription, which is pretty freaking awesome. Okay. Anyway, let's do other news. There's other stuff going on in the world, like Saudi Arabia, abandoned by their buddies. Maybe we're not buddies. Maybe we're frenemies. Okay. So not only does President Trump, like to taco, Trump always chickens out. Sometimes it's a good thing, I will say. But sometimes he waffles. And that is embarrassing. And that's the latest thing that happened between the
Starting point is 00:28:50 United States and Saudi Arabia. So let me set this up for you. Saudi Arabia, as we know, has asked Trump to get involved militarily in this ongoing war between Ansarla, also known as Zahuthis and Saudi Arabia. Now, Saudi Arabia has spent hundreds of billions of dollars buying U.S. weapons, actually buying them. Like, we didn't have a welfare program for Saudi Arabia as we do for Israel. In fact, Israel is the only country and Ukraine in the middle of this war that we do the war welfare for, right? But no, no, not Saudi Arabia. They're like, okay, let's let's bolster up our security. Let's buy these like super impressive advanced weapons from the United States. Remember, we would get up in arms about it.
Starting point is 00:29:36 And, you know, they killed plenty of people with weapons we sold them in Yemen. There's no question about that. But they don't know how to win a war. And the Houthis are spanking them, hard, so hard. So Mohammed bin Salman, you know, the tough guy who ordered the assassination and decapitation and dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi when he visited the embassy in Istanbul. That guy doesn't know how to fight a war. So he's hitting up Trump and he's like, please, please help me. Help me. We don't know how to use
Starting point is 00:30:09 his weapons. Get involved militarily. The Houthis, they're spanking us. And they are. The Houthis are spanking them. Okay. In their freaking thonged flip flops, they're spanking them, sometimes barefoot. Now, what's really interesting is Trump, behind the scenes, wasn't sure what he was going to do. And he kept going back and forth. And things almost got real. So let's go through how this all started. So Trump repeatedly said no. Then things came to a head on Thursday, last Thursday. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman called the president to implore him again to step in to help blunt the rapidly advancing group on Sir Allah. Just a day earlier, Trump had actually told his advisor that he had no interest in striking Ansar al-La. Why? Because he made a deal with them.
Starting point is 00:31:08 Basically, Ansarala will not strike U.S. vessels or any vessel other than Saudi vessels as they transit through Bab al-Mandep, which they now have control over, right? Okay. So as long as the Houthis don't attack U.S. vessels, the U.S. doesn't attack them. A little side deal. And that's pretty sweet for Trump. Like for once, he's actually thinking about what's in the best interest of the United States. Obviously, he's allowed to do that in the context of any country other than Israel. But he made the right decision.
Starting point is 00:31:46 However, just a day earlier, so Trump tells his advisors, I'm not interested. Okay. But after speaking with the Saudi crown prince, he reversed himself and told the Pentagon to prepare for airspace. strikes against the Houthis. Okay. So again, Trump, keep in mind, he made that side deal. And you know he's thinking about that side deal. He's thinking about it. He's thinking about how badly the U.S. has been spanked by Iran, also by the Houthis, who we gave up on. We gave up on fighting the Houthis last year. Trump knows. Like, yes, he is a buffoon in many ways. He's not so much of a buffoon that he
Starting point is 00:32:28 forgets that he got his ass beat last year. Okay. So look, and Trump doesn't want to blow up that deal. So by midday Sunday, the president appeared to have reversed himself again. There would be no U.S. airstrikes against the Houthis, at least not for the time being. So that was, again, in my opinion, because I care about what's in the best interests, you know, the United States, that was the best move. But it is worth noting just how close Trump came to involving our military in yet another war. Trump's decision to pull back from, or at least delay, striking hootie targets, came as commanders had approved target lists. Troops were loading bombs onto U.S. war planes selected for the missions, and the wave of attacks was just about to begin.
Starting point is 00:33:27 But look, he decided to pull back in the end. A senior administration official would say only that the U.S. has a defense agreement with Saudi Arabia, and we will always defend our allies. Like a major, major cope. So, you know, they commented on this story or they provided a comment to the New York Times for this story. And they're like, no, no, we have a security pact with Saudi Arabia. And we're all about protecting them. Are you? You know that feeling when you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing,
Starting point is 00:33:58 eating healthy, working out, getting sleep, taking supplements? And you still wonder, is any of this actually working? Because doing all the right things doesn't always mean it's working for you. That's why I'm excited about the true age tests from true diagnostic. It uses epigenetics, which may sound complicated, but it's really about tiny chemical tags on your DNA that change in response to sleep, stress, diet, exercise, and your environment. True age reads those tags to estimate how your body is aging.
Starting point is 00:34:30 And unlike many biological age tests, their methods are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and were developed with researchers at Harvard, Yale, and Duke. You get a clear picture of where you are and where you can improve. Plus, personalized recommendations around nutrition, exercise, sleep, supplements, and lifestyle. The process is simple. At home finger prick, send it back, get your report online in about three to four weeks. So if you want to optimize your health, true age gives you a much clearer starting point. So if you're serious about longevity or even just curious whether your body is aging faster or slower than your actual age, this is one of the easiest ways to find out.
Starting point is 00:35:09 Right now, go to truediagnostic.com and use code TYT for 20% off your entire order. That's true diagnostic.com code TYT for 20% off. They just, they bombed the airport in Riyadh like a few days ago. The East West pipeline, like the pumping stations? Like what? Like it's ridiculous. It's totally ridiculous. So current and former diplomats and commanders, by the way, who actually served in the Middle East, also do not believe that engaging in limited bombing campaigns against on Sir Laud or the Houthis is really going to make much difference anyway. You also have to keep in mind, like we bombed them pretty relentlessly for eight weeks straight last year. And it didn't work, which is why Trump gave up after two months. During that campaign, U.S. Central Command,
Starting point is 00:36:08 struck more than 1,000 targets, including radar systems, air defenses, ballistic missile sites, drone launch areas, and a drone production hub near Sana'a, the Ameni Capital. But Ansarala, again, proved to be a force to be reckoned with. They fought back by shooting down several U.S. drones. They even fired at naval ships at the Red Sea. We actually covered that as it was happening. By the way, including an American aircraft carrier. And they did succeed in their main goal.
Starting point is 00:36:40 Guys, it's not like, answer Allah, or Iran for that matter, or like jazzed about taking all this pain, all these airstrikes, all these bombardments. They're willing to take that knowing that it's part of a strategy. And so just take a step back and look at the entire landscape where the U.S. is, what are our vulnerabilities? Obviously, depleted munitions is a huge vulnerability. of the United States. And what OnStar Law is trying to do is get the U.S. to depleted stockpiles of munitions. So like, to some extent, Trump has the right instincts when he pulls back.
Starting point is 00:37:23 But he's so impressionable. So you really don't know what he's going to do. He could bomb Ansar ala tonight. I have no one. This video might be totally outdated by the time we upload it. That's how crazy this whole situation is. So the U.S. strikes burned through, these are the strikes from last year against on Star-law. The U.S. strikes burned through weapons and munitions at a rate of about $1 billion in the first month alone. It's crazy. During the campaign, $67 million F-A-18 Super Hornets tasked with conducting strikes against the Houthis, accidentally tumbled off America's flagship aircraft carrier into the sea. So Trump's 2025 campaign against OnSor-Law ended after two months, and you can see why.
Starting point is 00:38:20 Now Trump abruptly announced a ceasefire after that all happened, and he even announced, quote, they gave us their word that they wouldn't be shooting its ships anymore, and we honor that. Okay, great, everyone's happy. But then he started the war against Iran, encouraged Saudi Arabia to attack Ansarlaa. They did. On Surilah is like, woo, we saw this coming and fought like I even didn't even expect. So since then, Ansar ala actually rebuilt much of their capabilities and they're somehow even using AI. I'm not kidding. They're allegedly using AI to develop new types of missiles. So Gregory Johnson, who's a non-resident fellow at the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington,
Starting point is 00:39:07 gave a really funny, in my opinion, quote to the New York Times that I wanted to read to you because he's clowning MBS here. He says the anti-Houthi coalition, which of course is backed by Saudi Arabia, is really a Frankenstein of all the leftover parts in Yemen that aren't the Houthis or Ansarullah. the disparate Yemeni groups have vastly different and in some cases diametrically opposed goals for what they want in Yemen. So they spend more time fighting one another than they do the Houthis. They spend more time fighting one another than learning how to use those fancy weapons. Saudi Arabia spent hundreds of billions of dollars on. It's pretty wild. And then I want to leave with this one other thing.
Starting point is 00:39:54 So Brandon Weikert is the co-host on Mario Nafal show. And I actually, I like a lot of his commentary and analysis. I don't agree with everything, but he says a lot of smart logical things you can tell he does deep research. But this is what he says. What's amazing is that the BBC was shocked to find Saudi-backed forces being composed of ISIS and al-Qaeda elements. Aren't they supposed to be great and informed investigative journalists? This has been going on since, well, 9-11. Oh, yeah, absolutely.
Starting point is 00:40:26 I mean, why do you think I keep bringing up the fact that we armed terrorist groups in Syria during the Syrian Civil War? Why do you think I bring up the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu, even till this day, is funding, providing resources to ISIS-linked militias in Gaza to terrorize the Palestinians? That's what's happening. So I just, I love that little tidbit of information. And it's important to know these things. But again, Saudi Arabia is in a lot of trouble.
Starting point is 00:40:56 And what this actually messages to the rest of the world is that the United States cannot be trusted. The United States maintains its commitments with one country and one country only. That's Israel. The United States government doesn't maintain its promises with its own people. But when it comes to Israel, that's a different story. Let's get back to our break. When we come back, actually we have time. No, we don't have time.
Starting point is 00:41:19 Let's take our break. And when we come back, I want to talk a little bit just about this Mark Dubowitz guy and how brazen these people are in telling us why they want the U.S. military and the IDF to merge. It's amazing. So I'm going to tell you what he says. And then later, when people call me an anti-Semite, I'm going to just, I'm going to rip my hair out of my head. He's saying it.
Starting point is 00:41:43 We'll be right back. Enigo says we're losing, but no one is winning. You're absolutely right. It is pretty terrible. Let's go to eclectic miscellaneous. Tactical nuke is an oxymoron. Using a nuke would be the most counterproductive so-called tactic possible. It wouldn't help us win the war in Iran and would just turn us into a price.
Starting point is 00:42:27 I mean, I got news for you. We already are, but I mean, we would be irredeemable after that. And it sucks because I really think the majority of the American people are genuinely good people who don't, obviously, based on public opinion polls, they don't want this war. It wouldn't help us win the war in Iran and would just turn us into a prized state that no one except Israel would want anything to do with. Well, Israel would want to take advantage of us, but they wouldn't be a true ally. They've never been a true ally. So yeah, we're isolating ourselves. Funny enough, I mean, people like Dave Smith or like the anti-war libertaries, like
Starting point is 00:42:59 the dissidents in the country are like called isolationists. This is actual isolationism. Like we are making allies into enemies and it's not good. Let's go to, let me read some super chats. Titan of Olympus O3 says, how's it going, TYT, fam? I've really been enjoying my EV, which happens to be the most hated car in America right now, the Dodge Daytona, but TYT can share in my gas savings for the moment. Also, Anna, my dad saw you on Pierce and said you are a tank for truth. Thank you so much. I'm happy I'm happy you like your car. Like the worst thing is spending this giant
Starting point is 00:43:40 amount of your earnings, your money on a product that you have to use every day and you hate it, right? So I'm glad you like your car. I love my little Honda Civic. I love it. Welcome back to TYT, everyone. All right. This next story is so spicy and we have such limited time on the show that I'm doing the weave. So I'm weaving in so many different stories here, but they have a very similar theme and you're going to know exactly what I'm talking about after you watch this. About a week after Charlie Kirk was assassinated, his podcast, which was being broadcast on Salem media, was effectively taken over by a federally registered Israeli foreign agent. It's called Clock Tower X, which is operating this gigantic, I don't want to say multi-million.
Starting point is 00:44:46 It's like 100 million, 50 million. It's one of the biggest foreign lobbying contracts. ever, it's operating it on behalf of the Israeli foreign ministry. That was journalist Max Blumenthal over at the Grey Zone, speaking to Tucker Carlson, about the type of influence Israel has and the ways in which a foreign country is able to infiltrate various institutions in order to not just propagandize ordinary Americans, but to have real power, real sway over media members, policy makers, you know, powerful stakeholders in the country, in the government. And I thought what he said there was really interesting, not just as it pertains to Turning Point USA. You know, when you look at Brad Parscale and
Starting point is 00:45:35 Clock Tower and all of this, you know, foreign money that goes into this organization that's, that only has one objective and that objective is to serve the interests of Israel, you'll kind of understand how the tentacles of one organization spread and touch so many different parts of your daily life. But now that Americans have this negative view of Israel, I mean, every single public opinion poll indicates that Americans have really turned on Israel for good reason. Americans are good people. They are not genocidal. They do not enjoy watching children get slaughtered. Whole families get wiped out. They don't like to see villages erased from existence. They don't believe that Hamas or Hezbollah is hiding behind like every square inch of Gaza.
Starting point is 00:46:19 They know that the Israelis are lying. They feel like they're being taken advantage by Israel because we spend so much money fighting Israel's wars. We sacrifice so many soldiers fighting Israel's wars. You guys get the point, right? But rather than address those issues, the neocons are freaking out. They're freaking out so much that they are worrying. They're working overtime to ensure that the IDF merges with the U.S.
Starting point is 00:46:43 Now, every time I say that on a show, either this show or a panel show or a debate, inevitably, I get comments from like the mouth breeders who just regurgitate the talking points they were fed, like, it's not merging. We're just going to share intelligence. Okay. All right, right, okay. I'm sure you did deep reading into this issue. Like, I should totally trust you. But now, luckily, we have Mark Dubowitz, who just says it. He says it clearly. And I respect. Look, I disagree as much as one could possibly disagree with. someone, but what I respect about Mark Dubowitz and people like him, because there are many, they just tell you straight up what they're afraid of and what Israel must do to take advantage
Starting point is 00:47:25 of the Americans or play the Americans or screw over. Like, it's amazing. So this has to do with Section 219. So 219 is about merging the IDF with the U.S. military, not because it's going to benefit the United States, but because Israel knows, oh my God, people hate us. American, ordinary Americans hate us. And so we're going to have a hard time getting that memorandum, that 10-year memorandum of understanding where the U.S. guarantees billions of dollars in aid to Israel every year. So if we just merge our militaries, well, we could take as much advantage of that gravy train as we want, as much money as we want, and it'll look like a joint venture, you know, like that's the whole plan here. Now let's get to what Dubbo.
Starting point is 00:48:11 wrote. First of all, who is Dubowitz? You might be familiar with him already. He's a neoconservative, who I believe was the speechwriter for George W. Bush. So like, you know, this is a perfect example of failing upward, but nonetheless, he is the chair for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies or FDD. This is a pro-Israel lobby. That's really what it is. So the FDD's website claims to be this, like nonpartisan research institute, that's looking out for the best interest of the U.S., of course. It's really an Israeli operation full to the brim with Israeli terror-loving bozos. There's really no other way of putting it. So Dubowitz wrote one, Dubowitz actually wrote this genius piece, and I love it so much, because it gives us exactly the receipts that we need.
Starting point is 00:49:05 So he wrote this for the FDD and then later republished it on Israel Hayom. And if you want to read it, it's titled, Israel must prepare for the possibility of financial warfare, meaning the U.S. launching warfare against Israel. Let us whisper of a dream. The model Washington used against Iran could one day be turned against Israel. The president has already been said U.S. support is eroding and Jerusalem still has time to prepare for a threat. to its banks, companies, and the economy as a whole. Like, first of all, the paranoia here is so funny because this would never happen in a million years.
Starting point is 00:49:48 However, I'm so, like, I'm genuinely enjoying the panic. Like, at least we have that. So the piece, the whole point of the article is to detail how Israel should defend itself from a hostile American government. So Dupowitz sees the possibility that a future U.S. leader, U.S. president, would actually enact sanctions on Israel, which again, to me, I can't help but laugh. But he thinks this is a very real threat. The thing is, some of the sanctions that have already been implemented in the past, but then lifted against Israel, which they had no teeth and they impacted such a narrow group of people. Dupowitz, like, makes a mountain, turns a mountain into. a mohill into a mountain? Yes, that's what he does. Like, he turns a small issue that doesn't really threaten Israel at all into like, oh my God, this is, this is the worst attack against Israel that has ever existed. So if that's his baseline, the thought of, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:50:53 sanctioning a company in mainland Israel, like his head would explode. So let me tell you what he says. He sets the stage, which personally got me a little excited. Like, don't talk dirty to me. But here's what he said. Fast forward to January 29. A president hostile to Israel enters the White House. The White House stops blocking measures against Israel at the UN. Oh my God. I'm so excited. The U.S. shouldn't even have that power. No single country should have that veto power. The fact that the U.N. has that veto power, the Security Council, of course, makes the Security Council totally useless. But let me continue with the rest of the statement. European sanctions expand, and the Biden administration's sanctions order returns this time broadened and enshrined in legislation
Starting point is 00:51:41 extending from violent settlers to companies operating in Judea and the West Bank. Companies, Israeli companies operating on stolen Palestinian land. That's what he's referring to. They should be sanctioned. These are terrorists. They burn Palestinians as they sleep in their own homes alive so they can steal the land. Mark, it ain't going to happen in 2029, but it's going to happen. And that's going to be just the tip of the iceberg. So you're right. I think your timing is off, though. Biden sanctions, by the way, were pathetic. Like this guy, Oh my God, Biden's sanctions.
Starting point is 00:52:28 Okay, what were Biden sanctions? Do you guys remember Biden sanctions? I'll remind you. So his sanctions were pathetic. And look, the Israeli government did comply with them. But all he did, he sanctioned 15 Israeli terrorists living in stolen land in Gaza because they were killing people, including American citizens, by the way. And Mark Dubowitz, who.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Am I supposed to believe he gives a damn about Americans or this country? Please. Yeah, yeah. I use the trope, Mark. Okay? These terrorists were killing Americans in the West Bank. And he's complaining about Biden slapping 15 terrorists with these weak sanctions that Trump immediately lifted as soon as he got voted into office.
Starting point is 00:53:19 As soon as he was inaugurated, I should say. So he's suggesting that a future U.S. would adopt a sanctions model similar to the UK. What did the UK do? Which recently shut down all trade with companies operated by Israeli terrorists in the West Bank. They're not settlers. They are terrorists operating on stolen land, which is also a pretty weak way of sanctioning Israel. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:53:49 So Dubowitz argues that complying with potential, sanctions, harsher sanctions could be catastrophic for Israel. I'm gonna read this very slowly because I think what he says here, it really informs where I stand on whether or not a state should exist. Israel is particularly exposed because of its dependence, its dependence on international capital, meaning the United States of America, meaning us, the U.S. taxpayer. High tech accounts for 58% of Israeli exports,
Starting point is 00:54:32 while about 70% of venture capital investments comes from foreign investors. So let me ask you something when it comes to the question of a country and whether or not it exists. Because my view is very clear, and it's not just about Israel. It's literally about any country on this earth. If the taxpayers in my country, if I, along with my fellow Americans who work hard for a living, have a diminishing standard of life, lower quality of life year by year, higher inflation year by year, if your existence relies on us sending you welfare to survive, okay, then no, I don't care if you exist and in fact I don't think you have a right to exist. It's called sad day.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Like but we won't exist unless the US gives us everything. Okay, I'm sorry. I don't care. I don't care about it is real. Starting point is 00:56:55 So Dupowitz lays out a variety of measures Israel can take to avoid sanctions or survive them if necessary. Surviving them would be fascinating. I mean, so many countries we've sanctioned not only survived, they seem to be thriving. Russia switched its economy to focusing on war profits. And our sanctions did not harm them, really. So Dupilwicz, lays out a variety of measures. See, he says, look, Israel, I know it's hard. Okay, that's a straw man. He didn't say that. He's like, you could prosecute the settler violence. I'm going to speculate that Dubowitz doesn't prefer that option. Israel certainly doesn't prefer that option. He says, planned for the possibility of harsh sanctions in advance. That would be the adult thing to do. It would,
Starting point is 00:57:42 it would be nice to see Israel be the adult for once, yeah. Build stronger ties with U.S. governors and financial institutions. How much stronger can they be, Mark? But okay, enter international markets. And here's the real kicker. This is the reason why I wanted to talk about this story. Most importantly, pay attention to everyone. Most importantly, Israel and the United States should deepen their military, technological,
Starting point is 00:58:09 intelligence, and economic integration to such an extent that inflicting financial harm on Israel would also carry a significant cost for Washington. Israel excels at that strategy. That's what they do. That's what they do. That is the reason why Israel would like our militaries to merge. I mean, the play was obvious from the jump. This is their blueprint. The question is, okay, we read what they were trying to do. Experts weighed in on why Israel wanted this. Now you have Israeli agents telling you why this should happen. And it isn't because the US is like, oh, the minds in the US are just so dumb and buffoonish. And they need the brilliant geniuses in Israel to develop new systems for them.
Starting point is 00:59:07 Please. It's not about benefiting the United States at all. So a few sentences later, Dubowitz spells out where his loyalties lie. Yeah, I said it, but he said it as well. As someone working in Washington to defend Israel, I believe it is important to spell out the consequences. If the current coalition returns to power without changing its politics and conduct, defending Israel against a campaign of financial warfare will become far more difficult. Getting excited again.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Israel's friends cannot indefinitely compensate for decisions made in Jerusalem that erode international support for the country. So I don't know if he's actually pushing for the first option, which would be, I don't know, Israeli government change your behavior. But I would say that would be a far easier way to handle this if Israel were genuinely a developed country that wasn't being run by barbarians. But unfortunately right now it is. The American people are through with Israel. Polls now show more Americans sympathizing with Palestinians than with Israelis, nor in this solely a democratic phenomenon. So 57% of Republicans under 50 hold an unfavorable view of Israel. And look, there are people really crashing out about this, and I enjoy it. I welcome it. Let me reset quickly
Starting point is 01:00:34 to talk about Congressman Brad Sherman. So should I just use the sidebar that I have right now? They're, yeah, day, you guys are good. You guys are real good. So, Congressman Brad Sherman is unfortunately the congressman representing my district. And I haven't seen him do a damn thing for the people of my district, but he does seem very concerned about Israel. So Sherman, who allegedly represents Southern California, had a lot to say about some polling that came out recently. Let me read you his posts on X. Every Israeli official and voter should watch this clip.
Starting point is 01:01:16 And it needs to be translated into Hebrew. Yesterday I spoke with the Israeli ambassador. I don't think he or the majority of Israelis realize what is at stake. Oh, Brad, tell me more. What's at stake? It's not just $3.8 billion of traditional annual aid. That is aid U.S. taxpayers or our government here in the United States, provides Israel every single year.
Starting point is 01:01:42 And that's just the default amount of money. We give them every year thanks to the MOU that was signed under the Obama administration. I believe in 2016. So it's a 10-year MOU. It is set to run out soon. But anyway, it's not just the $3.8 billion of traditional annual aid. It's access to U.S. weapons and diplomatic support. Israel has been unwilling to take even a few steps to improve its image around the world.
Starting point is 01:02:09 They don't fund their foreign ministry. They don't fund their foreign ministry. Brad, where have you been? They spend a ton of money in their foreign ministry. And their foreign ministry has its tentacles all over the United States, trying to propagandize Americans into thinking genocide is normal and it's not working. Because red-blooded Americans ain't buying it. But okay, let me continue.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Ben Gavir in the cabinet poses an existential threat. Ben-Gavir actually has the largest share of new voters supporting him. You guys should know that. Israel cannot survive with no friends in the world. The anti-Israel sentiment found in much of the world and many parts of the American political system may be unjustified. Maybe unjustified. I hear from Israelis that their actions are justified and since they're in the right, they have no problem. That shows an ignorance of Jewish history.
Starting point is 01:03:06 Settler violence will continue until the relevant ministries are held by people who are really opposed to settler violence. The polling numbers that CNN reports will just get worse as long as settler violence continues. Look, Brad Sherman doesn't necessarily think what's happening in Israel, what's happening in the Palestinians is wrong. I've never heard him say a damn thing that shows he understands or values the humanity of the Palestinian people or anyone in the region that isn't Israel. really for that matter. However, he's worried about optics. I mean, he's a Democrat after all. They're worried about optics, but they're not worried about doing the right thing. And in this case, he's not worried about doing the right thing. He's just looking out for the homeboys over in Israel. So while his motivations are different from mine, mine have to do with, you know, just stop the killing.
Starting point is 01:04:02 If you want people to like you as a country, stop killing innocent people and taking land that doesn't belong to you and stop asking a foreign country to bankroll everything you guys do. That'll improve your image. Allow Palestinians a chance at self-determination. That'll improve your image. But they don't want to do that. So people like Brad Sherman don't want to keep having to defend Israel. They want to, but they know how bad it is. But more importantly, he's worried about Israel losing public support from Americans here in the United States.
Starting point is 01:04:40 So he just wants them to like, can you clean up a little bit? Well, over the weekend, Israel intensified their airstrikes against Palestinians intense. After everything we've seen over the last three years, when people try to fearmonger to me about Islam, oh, radical Islam is so dangerous. They're barbarians. I see a lot of barbaric behavior in the Middle East, and it's really hard to take anyone who tries to make those claims seriously. Anyway, when we come back, we'll talk a little bit about the Kennedy Center and some other things that we heard. There was a video I wanted to get to.
Starting point is 01:05:21 Oh, I definitely want to talk a little bit about the press in the U.S., you know, some of the bans that took place because Trump doesn't like hearing bad news about himself. And he's got some people who support the idea of allowing the executive branch to violate our constitutional rights. And I'll tell you why when we return. You have every right in the world, all those women who identify, who identify, who identify with your religion, have every right in the world to not get an abortion, to not take birth control, but they do not have the right to dictate my life. And what I decide to do with my body, I don't care about your goddamn religion. I'm so tired of having non-stop conversations about what the Bible says. You live your life in the way that you interpret the Bible. Again, I don't care,
Starting point is 01:07:59 but you don't get to take the Bible and tell me, while the Bible says this, in this chapter, in this verse, I don't care. I don't care. I don't believe in it. And I have the right, based on our Constitution, to not believe in it. It hasn't been left unscathed. Ain't a whole lot left. I don't know why they need any more bomb. Let us get clear. The United States provided $18 billion in military aid to Israel. Netanyahu indiscriminate department have killed more than 50,000 civilians, 60 percent, of whom are women, children, paramedics, and journalists, all of this is against basic human decency. You don't starve children with absolutely no humanitarian aid getting into Gaza.
Starting point is 01:08:54 It is a war crime. It is illegal for the United States government to provide Israel with more offensive weapons. History will not forgive us. We've been on our phones too much. I feel like we just need to touch grass or something. I told you. I mean, you know what? Let's actually do it. Let's touch the grass.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Andrew Yang? It's not racist, right? It's him. Yes, it is I. Andrew Yang out here giving money away, as usual. Wait, but literally? Do you use a phone? Noble mobile will cut your wireless bill in half every month,
Starting point is 01:09:39 and you get paid even more if you log off, look up and touch grass. Oh. I actually have some grass. I don't think that's a kind of grass. Not that kind of grass, unfortunately. Whoa. Wait, what the... Whoa. I guess that kind of grass works, too.
Starting point is 01:09:54 All grass works. All grass and we get cash? Did you see that, babe? Make it rain, make it rain, go, make it rain, make it rain, make it. That didn't rain so good. But now it's raining good. Corruption, injustice, the system is rigged against you. Every day, we're blasted by a flurry of terrible news from
Starting point is 01:10:18 every angle, which can make it challenging to stay positive and know how to fight back. The damage report is your solution. I'm John Adrola, and my daily morning show cuts through the noise and exposes the real damage being done to our country, the world, and how we can fight back against it. They want to make you drink Starbucks every day from now until forever.
Starting point is 01:11:17 Everyone, welcome back to the show, Anna Casparian with you. Jank will be back on Friday, I believe. Just want to read a few comments before we move on to our next story. James Kelly says, did you guys see Netanyahu is, I don't like calling him BB because it's like a cute little nickname and he's a warlord. But nonetheless, do you guys see that Net Yahoo is skipping town right after his speech? Buckle up. Let's see what happens tonight. Justin Oakey says Zionist passerby called L.E.
Starting point is 01:12:07 them to force me to take down Palestinian flag at my house because it's Yom Kippur, of course, told him free speech. Yeah, it's in your right to fly whatever flag you want. Rosa Roscoe, it was so good to see you yesterday. Anna, you work so hard for us. Chicago loves you. Thank you, and thank you for coming yesterday. It was so good to see you and meet you in person. Okay, so let's talk about what's going on with our education system. In fact, At some point in the story, I want to play that video of Max Blumenthal that I didn't get to in an earlier story, if you don't mind Alyssa. So we're doing it live, okay? But I want to talk about something that caught my attention over the weekend.
Starting point is 01:12:50 And it has to do with the Texas education system and how they have revamped their curriculum. But the Israeli government has turned Gaza into like a video game basically for killing people. And more specifically, the killing of children, right? I mean, the killing of children. And every time that it's like Hamas is hiding, that's Hamas. And it's like, that's a four-month-old. What it how can't, he can't even walk. He couldn't even walk into a Hamas office and sign up.
Starting point is 01:13:25 You know, they're like, he's hiding or something. What is he? He's hiding behind what? His own tears because his mother is missing. They won't let any calories in there. While they hunt down children, they killed every reporter who was trying to report on the war. And we see it on our phone and it's like you just become immune to it. Well, many Americans have not become immune to it, including comedian Theo Vaughn,
Starting point is 01:13:54 who time to time weighs in on the ongoing genocide in Gaza. And I'm grateful that he does it because every time he does, he demonstrates that what has happened in Gaza, the images, the videos, the tears, the orphans, the amputees, the starving children, all of those stories that we've covered on this show have reached a broader audience, an audience that's not typically thought of as political, certainly not an audience that's thought of as interested in geopolitics or foreign policy. And I'm grateful when people like Theo Vaughn talk about this issue. But you want to know who isn't grateful and who doesn't like what this signals to the world is real.
Starting point is 01:14:39 They're concerned because now people in America have seen things that they didn't think Israel would do. They are now privy to how much we sacrifice for this tiny little foreign country in the Middle East. And it's not just money, it's not just bombs, but it's also our own service members when it comes to wars that we fight on behalf of it. Israel. So yeah, the public relations for Israel, not doing a great job, they're hurt. And it's because you really can't put lipstick on a pig. The behavior is what people are taking notice of and they don't like it. It is counter to what our values are. And I'm happy to say that because I would never want, well, there's certain people in our country who share the values that we see demonstrated by Israel in Gaza. So I sadly have to take ownership of that, considering the fact that our government
Starting point is 01:15:37 under the Trump administration did a double tap strike on an elementary school for little girls. In Iran, killing 150 people. Well, no, they killed 175 people. They killed 150 kids. But most Americans have a problem with that. That's the point that I was trying to make. And so what is Israel going to do? Well, we know about the bot campaigns. We know about the paid influencers, but they want to go deeper. They want to go younger. And so they have lobbied pretty hard to accomplish something pretty big at Texas public schools. So Texas public schools will be required in its curriculum to bolster Israel's revisionist history. So kids are basically brainwashed into thinking that genocides and ethnic cleansing campaigns are just moral, that this was
Starting point is 01:16:34 Israel's land, that the Israelis deserve this. It was promised to them. And the Muslims are just these, the Arabs or the barbarians. So let's get into this. I first saw the report over at the Jerusalem post. So the State Board of Education voted eight to four to approve this new social study standard that will change what high school students learn about 9-11, religion. Gee, I wonder what they're going to learn about the different religions and other parts of history. Okay. Yeah, I remember what going to school was like. I remember glossing over the other parts of history and making sure that we focus on the Holocaust every single year.
Starting point is 01:17:17 I remember that. So that's already in the public education system. And I don't have a problem learning about the Holocaust. The Holocaust is an important thing to learn about. World War II is an important thing to learn about. But it's wild that it just wasn't enough for the Israelis. So what happened? Evangelical Christian Group proclaiming justice to the nation, said Wednesday,
Starting point is 01:17:43 that the Texas State Board of Education had accepted several of its curriculum recommendations. following testimony in which its president, Lori Cardoza Moore, challenge the participation of the Council on American Islamic Relations because CARE, the Council on American Islamic Relations, it turns out that there's an organization that cares about the civil liberties and civil rights of everyone, including Muslim Americans, including Muslim students.
Starting point is 01:18:14 So if your curriculum is going to, I don't know, misinterpret or misinformed students about what Islam is or whatever, they have the right to be there and weigh in. In a way that would provide an equal and fair curriculum for all students, including the Muslim students, because they exist, whether you like it or not. Anyway, what is disgusting woman, Lori Cardozo Moore. Its proposals address the influence of Judeo-Christian, totally made up traditions in the United States. Wasn't around until the 1920s. Okay. So of course, kids will be taught to hate Muslims. You can put that up.
Starting point is 01:18:59 Students will be expected to learn that the attacks were, the 9-11 attacks were motivated by radical Islam, a phrase that is now explicitly included in the standards. In world history, 9-11 will also be taught as part of the rise. Oh, the rise of radical Islam. So radical Islam didn't rise. It's a new thing. It didn't rise until 9-11.
Starting point is 01:19:26 So all of those terroristic acts that the Israelis carried out against Arabs, Muslims in multiple countries, radical Islam wasn't a problem back then, which they claim was a problem back then. It's really fascinating stuff. Okay. You see how their whole narrative falls apart because there's no reality behind it. So there's more. Oh, here's more. Okay, so then alongside lessons on terrorism, Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood in ISIS. Okay, great. But they probably won't be taught certain things that students should learn. And since we live in the age of the internet, I think this is going to backfire. And I'm going to make sure that the general public is aware of things like this. Oh, look at that. The Jerusalem. Post from March 13th, 2015. Report Israel treating Al-Qaeda fighters wounded in Syrian Civil War.
Starting point is 01:20:31 Why? Why were they doing that? Or this, there has long been speculation regarding ties between the Israeli government and the terror group Daesh, which is also known as ISIS. Such speculation has been fueled by Israel's reference to ISIS as a useful to. tool and its acknowledgement that it views a Syria under complete ISIS control as preferable to the continuation of the current Syrian government. Journalist Whitney Webb wrote this back in September of 2017. There's more. It is supported as well by the extensive aid and even medical treatments that ISIS militants have received from Israel.
Starting point is 01:21:20 So not just al-Qaeda militants receiving medical care in Israeli hospitals, but also ISIS militants. Fascinating. Really, really interesting stuff, you know. While they deny anesthesia for the children in Gaza as they're about to have more of their limbs amputated, they had no problem providing medical care in their fancy hospitals to al-Qaeda and to ISIS. Yeah, according to a report from the Israeli website, Inean Merkazi and Abna News Agency, Libyan security forces arrested an ISIS commander in the city of Benghazi, only to find out soon after that the man they had captured, Ibrahim Benjamin, you guys should look that name up,
Starting point is 01:22:14 was also an agent of Mossad, the Israeli intelligence service. Oops. Yeah, I'm guessing the high school kids in Texas won't learn about that. But let's go back to how Zionists intend to lie and brainwash Texas students. What are the other elements of the curriculum worth knowing about? So as our country, the United States of America has literally racked up tens of trillions of dollars in debt, partly a huge chunk of that was due to Israel's wars in the Middle East, the standards require students to learn about arguments over the negative effects of the modern welfare state that grew as those programs expanded.
Starting point is 01:22:56 Guys, Israel is a welfare state that would not be able to exist without the welfare. The United States sends their country and their agents here in the U.S. are trying to brainwash our kids into thinking, we're not deserving of a social safety net. It's bad. It's evil. its welfare. Amazing. This is so amazing. So less tax money for our social safety net means, you know, more tax money for Israel,
Starting point is 01:23:33 of course. So look, the changes scheduled for implementation in 2030 included teaching Christianity's influence on American history and identifying 1948 as the year Israel was established in the ancestral homeland of the Jews. So it's just a way of baking in propaganda into our public school system. And knowing the things that I know today, especially the fact that Robert Maxwell was the guy who published my history and social studies books, I would not want to put my kids in these schools. I don't have kids, so I don't have to make that difficult decision. But if I had no other option, I'd have conversations with my kids. Let's just put it that way.
Starting point is 01:24:19 and make sure that they know the truth. Because that's where the kids get the best education at home, the most effective and potent education. No mention of Palestine serving as the ancestral home of the Palestinians, of course. That's not in the curriculum. They want to pursue erasure of the Palestinian people, and they're doing it through the education system here in the United States. So let's talk a little more about how Israel was founded, since they love that topic so much. I love it too. I love learning more and more about it. Let's begin with the three Zionist terror groups that were later absorbed into the formal government of Israel. Let's take a look at
Starting point is 01:24:59 that. Before the formation of the state of Israel in 1948, and before there was an Israeli army, there were three underground Zionist militias, the Haganah, the Ergun and the Lehi. They were comprised of mainly Jewish migrants to the British mandate of Palestine With the aim of helping usher in the Jewish state by any means necessary They differed in their tactics and beliefs and at times fought with each other But together they terrorized Palestinian villages Committed acts of violence, terrorism and ethnic cleansing And executed bombings and assassinations against the British
Starting point is 01:25:36 To force them to give up control of the land They blew up hotels in Jerusalem embassies in Europe and assassinated a UN mediator. All of this happened before 1948, because after Israel was officiated as a state, these three groups will be brought together to create the IDF, and their militia leaders would go on to form Israel's government, become politicians, ambassadors, and prime ministers.
Starting point is 01:26:03 So three Jewish terrorist groups carried out acts of violence, bombings. I know about the stories from Haifa, because my grandmother was born there. So I've heard about the bombings that happened at workplaces where dozens of Palestinians would get killed. By the way, Rahm Emanuel's father was part of one of these groups, which one escapes me at the moment. But you should never believe a word that comes out of Rahm Emanuel's mouth when he's like trying to engage in this tough talk against Israel. No, no. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Starting point is 01:26:36 And honestly, that clothing is tattered as hell. You can see right through it. So the Zionist project of establishing Israel was even darker than most people know. And I don't blame people for not knowing about it. I myself didn't know about it fully until fairly recently because genocide will open your eyes sometimes and make you realize certain things that you otherwise wouldn't have realized. So they collaborated with literal Nazis. I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 01:27:03 The founding of Israel relied on collaboration with the Nazis. This is not new information. This is information you yourself can find. I know it sounds insane. It sounds crazy and conspiratorial, but I'm going to be specific. So you yourself can fact check it. So in 1933, so obviously this is before the formation of Israel, but the Zionists were already underway in trying to form the country. So at that time, in 1933, there was something known as the Havara Agreement.
Starting point is 01:27:36 I didn't know much about this, but I did some reading about it. And it was basically a pact between Nazi Germany and Zionist organizations that were trying to establish a Jewish state. In their minds, Nazis were helping them out because what better way to establish a Jewish state than to tell the Jews who are being persecuted by the Nazi regime, you have a safe place to go to? The Nazis love it because they're freaking Nazis and they can't live side by side. with others, including Jews, including certain Christians, including the Roma. So imagine looking at the persecution of your own people and seeing that as a freaking opportunity for some project that you want. Like it's so deeply disgusting.
Starting point is 01:28:30 So Zionists marketed this as a plan to allow German Jews to emigrate to, you know, British mandatory Palestine and if they did so, well, the Germans might allow them to transfer some of their financial assets. And then while the Nazis crack down on most Jewish organizations, they actually maintain complete tolerance toward and even promoted the Zionist Federation. The federation was allowed to continue operating because of the joint Nazi Zionist anti-Semitic. This is real anti-Semitism, interest in promoting European Jewish emigration. So I know people will see my commentary about Israel and intentionally, in some cases unwittingly, but in a lot of cases, intentionally conflate it with Judaism and say that I'm an
Starting point is 01:29:20 anti-Semite. No, I want Jews to live in safety all over the world. I don't think they deserve to be persecuted anywhere. The whole point is you should promote tolerant societies that are accepting of people from different backgrounds, different religions, as long as it's not genuinely violent and dangerous. Judaism is not a problem at all. What is a problem is the Zionist project. So Theodore Herzl, the father of modern political Zionism, wrote this in his diary. This is in June of 18, in 1895, he wrote this. The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends, the anti-Semitic countries, our allies. Because it wasn't about, protecting Jews from hatred, from persecution. It was about building the nation state that he had in his dreams, right? And then one more, this is Ben Gurian. He's the founder and former Prime Minister of Israel in December of 1938. He said this. Were I to know that all German Jewish children could be rescued by transferring them to England and only half by
Starting point is 01:30:35 By transfer to Palestine, I would opt for the latter because our concern is not only the personal interest of these children, but the historic interest of the Jewish people. Anyway, some of you might agree with that. I doubt it, but I don't agree with that. The whole thing from the very beginning was rotten to its core, and that cancer metastasizes. The whole point is to keep Jewish people who at the time were persecuted, who were killed, murdered, slaughtered, to keep them safe, to fight back. And these people saw it as an opportunity to build their project, which is really a secular project. But anyway, when we come back, look, Max Blumenthal's conversation with Tucker Carlson was real spicy, and I want to show you more of it. So don't miss it. We'll be right back.
Starting point is 01:31:41 And to sentimentism. Greg writes in, and I don't even know if I want to picket this wound after the debate that Jenk and I had. But anyway, in our member section, Greg says, I haven't voted in 20 plus years because the system is rigged. It's not even that the system is rigged. It's that the bureaucratic nature, the massive bureaucratic nature of our government, the deep state, the number of unelected federal workers who seem to be acting autonomously.
Starting point is 01:32:44 And we don't even know their names. Like that kind of stuff, I think, makes the elect. And of course, when it comes to the people we do get to elect the bribery baked into the system, you can call that rigged. It's rigged against us. It's rigged against a true democratic process. And that's what I think we need to fix. When I said during my debate with Jank, I don't care about the midterms.
Starting point is 01:33:09 It isn't anything personal against your preferred candidate. Okay, it's that I've just been paying attention too long to think anything is going to change. Even if the people you elect end up being real fighters, there isn't going to be enough of them. And the system, the system is broken. And I personally, it's my opinion. And I could be wrong, which is why if you think you need to vote, go vote. I don't want to discourage anybody. But I believe the system is too broken.
Starting point is 01:33:40 I think it's there needs to be big changes. That's what I think. Welcome back to the show, everyone, Anna Casparian, you're watching the Young Turks. And this next story is probably going to ruffle some feathers. I don't care. Mostly because I find what Max Blumenthal, who's the journalist over at the Grey Zone, What he says here is important to know about because this is his original reporting. If you read it, he does provide receipts for it.
Starting point is 01:34:49 A lot of what he says is his original reporting. Some of it isn't. But part of the reason why I didn't immediately brush off Candace Owens like everyone else did and just treat her like she's insane is because there is something strange about the investigation into Charlie Kirk's assassination. And more importantly, there had been reporting from Max Blumenthal specifically that I was privy to that made me suspicious. And when you have suspicious reporting and his reporting itself is not suspicious. What he was reporting on has to do with some suspicious things happening surrounding Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk. When you have that reporting coupled with inconsistencies that Candace Owens has been pointing out, Okay, look, you might not like her theories.
Starting point is 01:35:41 I don't pay attention to anyone's theories. I pay attention to the receipts. What are you showing me? And if you show me something, I could either find validity in your theory or not, but I'm less interested in theories, more interested in, wait, that video is strange. And it actually counters what we've been told in the official narrative. Okay, so that's my whole preamble to say that we're going to talk about it. but we're going to talk about it through the lens of Max Blumenthal.
Starting point is 01:36:09 He had this interview with Tucker Carlson, and they talked about a whole host of things, including the fact that our federal government seems to try to victimize him for daring to do journalism on the ground in Iran. But nonetheless, let's get into it. With one bullet, one of the greatest threats to Israel's control over the movement he represented was removed. He was like the only guy with that level of power who could get in the Oval Office. with Trump, who was even willing to lobby Trump against joining the Israeli war on Iran back in June 2025. He was the only one who could get in the way and get in tune with the younger conservative base that was filling up TPSA events, and he's gone. And what replaced him?
Starting point is 01:36:58 Erica Kirk, who seems to be herself a complete tool for the national security state, which is why she's on the board of the Air Force Academy now, whose mother was a defense contractor who helped kind of launch her first foundation and who has allowed Israel back into the building. Why is Erica Kirk, who was sold to us as this trad, stay-at-home mother who married Charlie Kirk, why is she now working for the U.S. military doing marketing for them? I do think that's a little bit strange. But nonetheless, Max Blumenthal was on Tucker Carlson's podcast.
Starting point is 01:37:42 The episode was released today. And they discussed the death of Charlie Kirk and the rise of Erica Kirk. Look, this is not a segment about Erica Kirk. It's a broader discussion about some of what Blumenthal's reporting has found in the aftermath and in the very, you know, right before Charlie Kirk was assassinated. And I think it's important to have a national dialogue about it. I think it's important to just talk about what the facts are, what is not true. Because, look, it could be that everything we're hearing from the federal government about this case is true.
Starting point is 01:38:18 But there needs to be some answers to some of these issues. And this all coincided with turning point USA's pretty hard pivot to what it was, which was very friendly to Israel. But in the last few months, Charlie Kirk, as we all know, was questioning his. support of Israel. In fact, in a text message made clear that he's going to have to leave the pro-Israel cause. Then after he's killed, there's this pivot, not just back to pro-Israel rhetoric and propaganda, but they're going pretty hard, way harder than, to be honest with you, I saw turning point go when Charlie was still alive. So let's talk about Zionist donor pressure. This is something that Blumenthal did dive into. He recounted two separate instances of Zionist donors getting
Starting point is 01:39:14 really mad with Charlie Kirk shortly before he was assassinated. So the first billionaire is this guy named Robert Shillman. I remember when Blumenthal first did a report about this. We covered it on the show, so you might remember. For those of you who don't, Max Blumenthal is going to give you some more information. Remember, I mean, I broke the story about Dr. Bob. Bob Shillman, the largest donor to TPSA, who is an Israel first centa millionaire, who also sponsored the career of Laura Lumer. He wanted his name on a building at TPSA's campus in, I think, Scottsdale. And days before Charlie Kirk was assassinated, he denounced him at a private gala, an awards gala in L.A. and said, I'm not giving him the $2 million. I managed to confirm that
Starting point is 01:40:01 and reported it. It's true. I don't know if Bob Schillman is funding TPSA. but I uncovered a contract. Why did he not give the money? What was he mad about? That's a great question that I haven't explained. Charlie Kirk was opposing the war on Iran. He was questioning the, he was questioning the pro-Israel control over himself. Yeah, he realized, because look, make what you will of Charlie Kirk.
Starting point is 01:40:35 And he obviously said some, especially when it came to Muslim, I remember, you know, at the very start of the genocide, he said something pretty gross about throwing people off the roof. But, okay, put that all aside for a second. He had a moment where he realized, oh, they're trying to control what I say or think in my own organization. Because he was very much against going to war against Iran. That had been very consistent in his commentary for a few years. And I don't think he realized that he was triggering something, at least in the very least, a certain fury that maybe he didn't expect. Maybe he didn't realize that he was expected to be a tool for Zionists. But once he was critical of the notion of invading Iran or going to war with Iran, especially on behalf of Israel, well, these Zionist donors were furious. And they made their thoughts known, not just verbally, but also by pulling very real financial support.
Starting point is 01:41:37 $2 million is nothing to F with. But he wasn't the only one. Now let's hear Blumenthal discuss what a lawyer who had like a total meltdown while on Pierce Morgan uncensored, Natasha Hustorf, which she herself said to Kirk before he was killed. I also exposed how there was a secret influencer summit convened by the pro-Israel billionaire Bill Ackman in the Hamptons in August of 2025. And Charlie Kirk was there and he was screamed at by this Zionist lawyer, Natasha Hausdorff, because he started questioning why he had to center everything around Israel and why he couldn't host you at his youth conferences.
Starting point is 01:42:25 That's what they were demanding. No Tucker Carlson on the stage. I spoke at a lot of them and really enjoyed it, everyone, you know. Now, if you watch Natasha Hausdorff's appearance on Pierce Morgan uncensored and how quickly she was enraged over the slightest pushback, I could totally believe that she would start screaming at Charlie Kirk over a disagreement having to do with Israel or a war that Israel wants. And remember, Charlie Kirk publicly discussed the pressure campaign that. that he underwent and this was before he was killed.
Starting point is 01:43:01 I mean, soon after this, he was assassinated. Take a look. The behavior by a lot, both privately and publicly, are pushing people like you and me away. I have text messages, Megan, calling me an anti-Semite. I am learning biblical Hebrew and writing a book on the Shabbat. I honor the Shabbat, literally the Jewish Sabbath. It is dozens of texts.
Starting point is 01:43:24 Yes. Then we start to say, hold the boat here. And to be fair, some of my really good Jewish friends are like, that's not all of us, it's all. But these are leaders too, though, right? These are these are stakeholders, right? So he was feeling the pressure. So much so, he went public about it, spoke about it with Megan Kelly. And, you know, during this discussion that Blumenthal is having with Tucker Carlson, he really gets into the weeds. And he discussed turning points ties to an organization known as the International Fellowship, of Christians and Jews.
Starting point is 01:44:02 This is actually something I didn't know too much about, and I thought his commentary about it is pretty fascinating. So it seemingly works on behalf of the Israeli government, and here's how it kind of plays a role in the whole Turning Point USA universe. Take a look. I got a leaked contract between them and a group called the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, which is a very shady organization, which is the second largest non-governmental donor to the government of Israel.
Starting point is 01:44:35 Its president is based in Israel. And they had pledged $700,000 to TPSA in May of 2025 when Charlie Kirk was alive. And he was, I think what he was saying about Israeli control over the movement, about Iran, was threatening that donation as well as many others. But under Erica Kirk, it's very clear that that donation has continued. And now the TPSA faith events that you see, including one recently in El Paso, where an Israeli flag was draped on the stage, those are being sponsored in part by the international fellowship of Christians and Jews. And these events are in churches? They're in churches.
Starting point is 01:45:21 So something I haven't talked about on the show at all. By the way, I didn't know that the president of this organization was literally based in Israel. So we did talk about this story as it broke, but it's even more tied to Israel than I even realized. I knew it was, you know, maybe it was a group of Christian Zionists who, whatever. But no, literally their president lives in Israel. Okay. Something I haven't talked about on the show at all is that apparently the contract that was signed by a turning point representative for this. international fellowship of Christians and Jews contract.
Starting point is 01:46:00 The person who signed it wasn't Charlie Kirk. So you can look at the contract for yourselves. He's not the one who signed it. And then you also find out that Charlie Kirk wanted an audit of the company's financials, that he felt something fishy was going on. So did Charlie Kirk know about this contract? Was it signed behind his back? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:46:24 But something very strange is taking place. turning point USA. And so it gets worse because the IFCJ, okay, that's the international fellowship of Christians and Jews, the IFCJ supports some other actors. Some would say nefarious actors, including but not limited to Ben Shapiro. They raise money from poor and working class Christians around the, not just in the US, but in Latin America, where like half the population lives below the poverty line. And they give it to Israeli organizations and extremely wealthy pro-Israel American Jewish organizations like the Jewish federations. They also are giving money to failing media organizations like Ben Shapiro's Daily Wire, which has had to lay off executives.
Starting point is 01:47:16 They have like dwindling viewership. He's been bleeding YouTube subscribers. And so he has a paid partnership with IFCJ and he hosts interviews with their. new president, Ja'I.L. Eckstein, who else gets paid partnerships with them? Mark Levin, I think, has one. Ted Cruz. Mark Levin? Ted Cruz? Ooh, great get. Wow. Okay. So, look, there's no denying it. In the final months of Charlie Kirk's life, some of the videos that would come out about Charlie Kirk's commentary. It was really, it was just different. It was different from what I expected from Charlie Kirk because he was waking up to just how lopsided this alliance between
Starting point is 01:48:11 the United States and Israel is. You could tell that he was genuine in wanting to protect free speech because he definitely didn't want anyone controlling what he could say or think. So even if you hated what he said or thought, at the end of the day, he believed in the right to allow everyone to say and think what they want. And that's one of the most important values the United States is supposed to have. And I think that he was kind of shell-shocked by the kind of reaction he received once he was willing to take a few jobs at Israel that were obviously well-deserved. But also more importantly, he was able to think for himself and assess the situation with Iran. He knew that it was going to be a disaster. And he didn't talk about it once or twice. He talked
Starting point is 01:48:57 about it on his show a lot. And he was right. He was totally right. So we'll end with this last clip regarding Erica Kirk. So here's the story of how she pulled out of accepting some sort of award from the IFCJ. So I haven't actually seen this part of the conversation yet. So let's take a quick look at that. After Charlie Kirk was killed, the IFCJ International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, which channels money. from working class Christians to powerful Jewish groups and Israel, hosted an event in Jerusalem alongside the Israeli foreign ministry. And they gave an award to Erica Kirk in the name of Charlie Kirk. And they wanted to basically claim Charlie Kirk and bury this whole thing that,
Starting point is 01:49:46 you know, this whole crisis that he had caused for them. And Erica Kirk started getting criticized when word leaked that she was going to accept the prize because, you know, as we understand, younger conservatives are not very happy about the way Israel is influencing the U.S. government. And so Andrew Colvitt, who's their PR guy, said, no, this is all fake. Erica Kirk had nothing to do with this. And it was too soon. It was too soon for them to embrace Israel. I mean, I think Blumenthal makes a really great point there.
Starting point is 01:50:24 Now, it could just be that, you know, It was only Charlie Kirk that was seeing the issues with Israel. Everyone else in the organization, including his wife, loved everything Israel was doing. And so they didn't really think about the optics. They just did what they wanted to do with Turning Point after Charlie Kirk died. There's nothing nefarious going on here. I don't know. But it is strange how hard of a pivot turning point USA took.
Starting point is 01:50:53 As I said, months before Charlie Kirk died, shockingly, there would be a video. that would go viral here and there and I would be shocked. Like the comments that I was hearing from young conservatives, some of the things I was hearing in terms of policy analysis from Charlie Kirk. And then it did like a hard pivot back to pro-Zionism, but like even more hardcore than before Charlie was questioning things. And I think even if there's nothing shady at play, it's going to raise eyebrows, especially among those who are suspicious
Starting point is 01:51:26 about the narrative surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination. So there you have it. I mean, I think it's fair for people to be curious, skeptical. And, you know, there's reason to believe that the January 6th pipe bomber, the suspect that the FBI has detained, might actually be the wrong person. They might actually be trying to frame someone. So I got to do a deep dive on that, but the person that they have detained is an autistic black man.
Starting point is 01:52:02 And again, some pretty big inconsistencies with the FBI's narrative on that. So we'll talk about that at some point on the show. Didn't have time to really do the deep dive I want to do for today. But it is your duty as an American to question your government, period. So people can shame you all you want. If you think something is strange, bizarre, it doesn't quite fit. Common sense tells you, look, the sirens are blaring. There's something wrong here.
Starting point is 01:52:36 That's okay. It's okay to ask questions. It's not okay to blame people or accuse someone who's innocent of a crime. They didn't commit. It's not okay to accuse people of things without the evidence. But I can't help but say the issues surrounding Turning Point USA and Charlie Kirk right before his assassination, really make one wonder about what really happened here. And even if there was nothing nefarious, one thing that's abundantly clear is that the Zionist
Starting point is 01:53:06 project will not give you an inch. Once you're a supporter, you have to support them in everything they do and everything they want 100%. The second you deviate from that, doesn't matter how long you have been a loyal supporter, the second you deviate from that, they will do whatever they can to ruin you. Totally destroy your organization. Pull money out. It's wild to see it. Anyway, let's take our final break. We'll be right back with an update on Trump's pathetic attempt to silence media platforms that aren't, I guess, adequately nice to him. We'll be right back. Serenity now in our TYT.com member section says dubious or dubowitz. Dubious Dubowitz.
Starting point is 01:54:25 I think that's a good nickname for him. Susan One says, when has America ever cared about what its people wanted? I think there were better times in America for sure. I remember what it was like before 9-11. And I feel sad for people who were younger than me that never got to see the U.S. before 9-11. I mean, it wasn't perfect. but honestly, the aftermath of 9-11, we really took a hard dive. No Math Dragon says Trump golf this weekend.
Starting point is 01:54:56 Whatever, I just, as long as he's not talking. Can we just let him golf all day? It would be nice. I wouldn't mind it, to be honest. Kurt Signetti says, President loves the Waffle House. I had a breakfast sandwich today. It was like two sweet waffles with a fried chicken sand. fried chicken thing in the middle.
Starting point is 01:55:20 It was so naughty, but so good. Okay, YTP renewed says, between this and CIA, complicity and drug smuggling, I'm kind of left wondering why the CIA hasn't been abolished. That would be real nice, wouldn't it? That would be real nice. Abolished the CIA.
Starting point is 01:55:36 I would not mind that. The whole thing seems, I'm sure there are some good people. I'm sure some people are good. But the CIA as an organization has gotten us into a lot of messes. Let's get back to the show. Super chat section. We've got Viva Samud Pak resistor.
Starting point is 01:56:32 Muslim Arab states rented their security and defense from the same camp that arms Israel. When Gaza and Lebanon are under fire, their jets and radars still need U.S. licenses. That is a leash, not an alliance. Build a real Muslim defense pack. Consider ASAP by partner with China or Russia or Europe. European countries are not going to be a good partner in this project. I guarantee it. The West is very much in the camp of doing what Israel wants, sadly.
Starting point is 01:57:04 Build a real Muslim defense pack. Consider as soon as possible partner with China or Russia or European countries that hate the guts of Israel, get air defenses, drones, and start prepping up military now. Technology is sovereignty from alliance with the rest of Muslim countries for God's. Yeah, I just, look, I mean, the Israelis say it out loud. If you listen to them in their media interviews, like they, let's talk about Lebanon as a specific example.
Starting point is 01:57:34 They like pitting Muslims against each other. They like pitting people in any given country against each other because that disempowers you. So while like Muslim majority countries are warring with each other, like, you. you're getting played. So I don't, I mean, I see it so much more clearly. And I know there's complicated history, blah, blah, blah. But how about like focus on the immediate threat?
Starting point is 01:57:58 Okay, but I don't know. Israel's really good at getting countries to fight with each other. Or civil wars to, you know, pop off in countries they seek to destabilize. Dawn 39 says, and thank you for the Jordanian currency. USA will be sacrificed for Israel after using it. it to destroy as many countries and international organizations and UN sabotaging international economic system. I think you're right. I'm worried that it might be too late. I think you're right. James Kelly says it's funny that they already wrote our history books for decades and the US
Starting point is 01:58:31 population for the most part came out on the rightish side of history because Western values or at least the values of those in a true liberal democracy, they don't They don't like genocide. They're not in favor of apartheid states. Yeah, it's about our system of values, guys. That's what's important. And my biggest fear, because that's not, I don't think those are values that you're necessarily born with, right?
Starting point is 01:58:59 It's part of our culture. And that culture can change. And that's what I fear the most. You know, the way that the war in Iran has been carried out, the bombing, the double tap strike on Menab's elementary school. I know that the U.S. has committed war crimes in the past. I get it. I know that.
Starting point is 01:59:18 But I think the brazen way in which it's being played out right now is, I'm worried that it's going to completely sacrifice whatever we have left of our values. Okay, the final story for you, an update on, you know, Trump banning certain media organization. So we are beginning to get a lot more clarity on why Trump banned MS now, CNN, and politics. with the latter, by the way, hurting the Feefees of Mark Levin. So he himself is very supportive of the ban on Politico. We'll get to Mark Levitt in just a second. But first, let's begin with what can only be described as a deeply embarrassing
Starting point is 01:59:59 Wall Street Journal piece with the subhead line, quote, The president has told associates that he thinks there aren't enough political allies defending him on television. What is there to defend? What would they defend? Is it that Costco is rationing motor oil? Would they defend a war that's gotten out of control? Would they defend the gas prices or the destruction of the refineries or the tariffs that have been a complete nutter disaster? What would they defend? And I've seen them try. I've seen his cabinet members and mouthpieces do their best. You can't put lipstick on a pig. At a recent closed door meeting in the Oval Office, the president expressed deep frustration to advisors that prominent figures in Washington hadn't
Starting point is 02:00:51 publicly thanked him for trying to overhaul the Kennedy Center. He has destroyed. He has destroyed the Kennedy Center. It might go under. It might go under. I just, you don't want people to think about the Kennedy Center. You don't want any of your aides or cabinet members to bring up the Ken. What happened to the reflecting pool? He tried to like imprison some random runner who was by the reflecting pool that Trump himself destroyed by trying to redo it. Okay, he's having the most childish meltdown for the most ridiculous reason. On Tuesday, following his latest legal setback, the president threatened to block renovations at the performing arts venue, unless his name is put on the building, 25th Amendment.
Starting point is 02:01:51 Please, he is not competent to lead. 20 months into his second term, Trump isn't getting his way. And he isn't happy about it, according to advisors, administration officials, and others close to the president. This is so embarrassing. So he became super irritable last week on Friday after his favorite aid, his top aide, Natalie Harp, showed him video clips of anchors on MS Now criticizing the administration. Because that's what MS now does, obviously. But he became irritable about it. According to the Wall Street Journal, hours later, Trump banned the network and two other news organizations from the White House.
Starting point is 02:02:34 CNN Politico were the other two, and we'll get to Politico, more on them in just a minute. But look, there was luckily some dissent internally. People realized how much, first of all, it's unconstitutional, and the courts are going to reverse this. I mean, I hope. And to be fair, the courts have been pretty good at reversing some of the more egregious things that Trump has done. One senior administration official reacted with exasperation to the decision, arguing that the move would do little to achieve the president's goal of improving press coverage. And this person is right.
Starting point is 02:03:09 In fact, what Trump did actually led to the opposite. Because when it comes to mainstream media or legacy media platforms getting targeted by the government, you will see this circling the wagons type thing among legacy media people. because they see it as a potential threat to themselves. I mean, if the administration is doing this to CNN or MS now or Politico, oh my goodness, can't have that. So most major news organizations decided to ban, like they're not going to the press pool anymore when the White House is announcing something, which is hilarious because today Trump had a press conference
Starting point is 02:03:55 And since no one in the media showed up, there was no audio for it. So keep my mic up as we look at video of this press conference in which President Trump is speaking. And I mean, you hear like a little bit of white noise, but you don't hear his audio. Because the media's not there. He's not like miced up. He's not being, his voice isn't being fed into any major network. There's no microphone because there's no microphone because the pool cameras aren't there. So maybe, Tim, this is one example of it backfiring just a little bit.
Starting point is 02:04:29 So good. Some of things. Michael was saying. And obviously the ramifications are right here. Can't hear what the president said. Oh, yeah. Those ramifications. Oh, it's so good.
Starting point is 02:04:40 It's so good. So there is a Mark Levine angle to it. And I'll talk about that a little for our members, t.yt.com slash join to become a member because, man, Mark Levine is just as corrupt and disgusting as you. can get. But he is supportive of Trump especially banning one of these organizations. And I'll give you the details as to why in the bonus episode for our members, t.t.com slash join or you can hit that join button if you're watching us on YouTube. But just a few more details about this. Look, the truth is that Trump is highly unpopular and even lost some of his supporters from his base.
Starting point is 02:05:16 Like people who voted for him three times abandoned him. And that's because of how unpopular these wars are, okay, the war that he started for no reason against Iran. And people are upset about the high energy prices. Diesel prices hit a record high last week. And on Saturday, regular gasoline reached a national average of $4.48 a gallon. And that's according to AAA. The price went down a little bit today. But if you're optimistic about it, you shouldn't be because what's causing the problem is the destroyed refineries, the disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, you guys already know. You get the picture. So a September poll from the New York Times and Sienna research found that 29% of surveyed Republicans believe the economy is in better shape than a year ago, just 29%. Those are
Starting point is 02:06:11 Republicans. So they used to actually think, no, the economy is better than it was a year ago. So the result last January or the earlier poll, 73% of Republicans. Anyway, members only is next. TYT.com slash join and I'll see you there.
