You're listening to The Young Turks, the online news show.
Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars.
You're awesome. Thank you.
We control the hormone straight.
Oh my God, man.
The Gagherz.
Jake U.S.
Janku Granik is very much with you guys.
Just before the show started, I decided to be in a weird mood.
So God knows what happens next.
So on today's show, very serious topics.
Some fascinating topics, silly topics.
They're in the news, they're real, but they're ridiculous.
So first on the serious stuff, as we're gonna show you in a little bit, Iran reconstituting
their ballistic missiles.
Oops, I thought we had them totally destroyed, doesn't look like it, we're gonna bring on an
expert talk about it.
Yemen has renewed its civil war.
Houthis have taken huge swaths of land, including the town of Moka.
So we will explain why that is so important.
later in the show.
And then on the lighter side, Donald Trump promises $5,000 to everyone if they win the elections.
I'm just trying to see if there's a single person in the country dumb enough to believe
that.
Please, I hope not.
There were people clapping after he announced it.
I know, all right, but we'll get to that, we'll get to some of the right-wing reaction,
like, oh, for God's sake.
Anyways, and then finally, you know, we've got Socialists.
And they say that exercise is fascism.
I did fast as night.
I think it's weird.
Yeah, they'll take that out of context.
And losing weight could also be fascist, just in general.
So watch out.
Okay, so anyways.
Are we gonna have a debate about whether or not exercise is fascism like we did with Trump and I ended up being wrong?
Oh, oh, interesting.
Okay, no, I don't think we're gonna have that debate, but we are gonna have, we might have other debates on the show.
So buckle up everybody, brace for impact.
Let's get started.
So if the Republicans win, you win with us and you get $5,000.
It will be called the Trump dividend.
We'll call it the Trump dividend.
Congratulations.
Oh man, they are so excited.
But it's not the $5,000 because no one believes that.
They showed a picture of Hassan and his underwear.
And they're like, yes, yes, finally.
the homoerotic image they were looking for.
Anyways, we'll get to that in a second in this story.
This is their dumbass convention and Trump is promising this dumbass prize, which is never,
ever going to happen.
But one of the things that we'll talk about is, is it legal?
There's actually two potential legal problems with it.
One I think is not a problem, the other one is.
We'll get to that in a second as well.
Anna, what's the whole story here?
Well, as we all know, the Republican Party is holding its first ever convention for the midterm.
And the whole point is to rally the voters, get them to show up to the polls, even in the face
of Trump's incredibly low approval rating, to help either reelect or elect Republican candidates
for congressional seats, and also in gubernatorial races as well.
But Trump made this offer during his speech at the convention, in which he said that he
would be providing $5,000 dividends or $5,000 checks to Americans if the Republicans win.
And he's calling it the Trump dividend.
Now he gave no details on how it would work or how it would be funded in a country that's
grappling with $40 trillion in debt and an ongoing deficit that only adds to that debt.
But he did say that the money would have to be spent here in the United States.
Unclear how he would enforce that, but the fact of the matter is he's not being serious about this.
That's my take, but let me give you more details.
There are nearly 270 million American adults, meaning a $5,000 payout would cost the United
States government some $1.3 trillion.
That's trillion with AT.
So Fox News's Brett Baer actually sat down with Vice President J.D. Vance to get him to kind
of weigh in on some of the criticism that was already coming out in response to what Trump
said.
And the vice president decided to lie to the American people.
Take a look.
President is bribing voters to vote for Republicans to take over the House, and then he's bankrupting the country because the deficit and debt is huge, and inflation would come back if this comes into place.
So how do you answer those criticisms?
Well, I say, first of all, what the president's talking about is fundamentally a dividend for American workers.
We're taking in an extraordinary round of revenue because the President of United States is actually standing up to both foreign companies, but also foreign countries who've been taking advantage of America's workers for people.
much my entire life. Those penalties have generated a lot of revenues. They've helped us pay
down debt. What the president is just saying is, if you keep it going to the American people,
if you keep us in power and allow us to continue to do these things, then you're going to share
in some of the benefit of this incredible wealth that we're creating in the United States of America.
The tariffs did not help us pay down debt. As I've said, multiple times on the show,
our debt continues to increase, which is why we're having trouble with Bondi,
yields, but that video, which was posted on X, immediately got slapped with the community
notes. So why don't we read it? Annual tariff revenue under $300 billion cannot fund a $1.3
trillion payout and distributing funds requires congressional approval. Previous cash dividend
promises were also never delivered, including the 2025 Doge dividend and proposed $2,000
tariff rebates. In fact, Senator Bernie Sanders really wanted to emphasize,
all the broken promises from Donald Trump, similar broken promises from Donald Trump in the past.
Yes, the Doge dividend checks, that was a lie. The $1,000 checks for repealing the Affordable Care Act.
Do you remember getting that check? Because I don't, because it never happened.
Oh, yeah. A 10% cap on credit card interest rates, that ended up being a lie. The lowest drug
prices in the world, another lie. $2 a gallon gas?
Where are we out with gas?
It's not two dollars a gallon.
It's actually more than twice that.
It's over $4 now.
Yeah.
And it's a dollar more than it was a year ago.
And don't worry, he says it'll come down immediately after the elections.
Right.
All right, right.
Okay, hold on.
Now look, I want to be fair because naturally many Democratic voters saw that.
And they're like, well, he's trying to bribe voters.
Voters, this is wrong, this is illegal.
I just wanna be clear that Democrats have made similar promises.
For instance, Democrats in Georgia promised $2,000 relief payments if their party took control
of the Senate at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you guys can remember, it was the special Senate elections that took place in Georgia
that year.
And Biden seemed to make good on that promise to some extent.
It ended up being $1,600 checks instead of $2,000 checks.
Now, Robert Moran, who's a former Republican strategist and a current pollster, said that Trump's
pledge should be seen for the BS that it really is.
Now, he didn't say it that way, here's what he actually said.
It is an extraordinary promise, and I'm not sure where that money is going to come from,
but it's campaign season, meaning it's campaign season and you should expect our politicians
to lie to you.
Okay, the other thing that Trump accomplished during this convention was one of the best promotions,
promotions for nuclear weapons imaginable, but before we get to that, let's do a little with the
$5,000 dividend claim.
Yeah, and we are gonna get to Haas in his underwear, right?
Yes, that'll probably be in another video.
You guys are watching this after the live show.
I see, okay.
Hey, watch the live show, 6 to 8 p.m. You'll get all the underwear pictures you need.
Okay, Monday through Friday.
Okay, seriously, there's a lot of things going on here.
First of all, he's like, yeah, I gotta spend it here, okay, cannot spend it in, can I
which apparently is our number one enemy now or Germany or China.
Now he didn't mention Israel because of course if you want you can take the whole
$5,000 give it to his don't even spend it just give it to them and go like you know
how like charities are like how many kids how many orphans can you say with this in
Israel's how many orphans can you make with this $5,000 you know offer so okay
but more importantly and relevant to us here 1.3 trillion dollars a lot of money
right so we can't afford that that
That's crazy.
But I want you to remember that they're proposing a defense budget that's one and a half trillion
though, it's even larger than that.
We also cannot afford that.
Correct.
And if you said to me, take one out of the one and a half trillion and give it to the Pentagon
or give it to the American people, that's a no brainer.
I'm gonna give it to the American people right away.
Which leads me to what Anna referred to there.
No, no, no, saying that, hey, I'm offering this money if we win, it's a no, it's a
is not a bribe, it's not illegal, okay?
So Elon Musk, I know some of you, some of the members are writing in like Nord Ferguson
did, et cetera, on t.com.
Well, how about Elon Musk?
Well, that's a little bit different, and that was a very arguable case.
That's a really interesting case.
But he was kind of doing it to get them to physically vote, whereas Donald Trump is making
a campaign promise, right?
And campaign promises are normal, is they're the most normal thing in the world, they're not
remotely illegal. And by the way, for progressives, we don't do what Fox News claims. Like,
hey, vote for us. I want to give you a check. Like, it's literally what Trump just did, right?
So he's a blunt instrument, et cetera. No, we're talking about policies that help you, right?
So we're not going to give you the money, but we want to increase minimum wage because that
increases your wages. And it pushes up wages for everyone else. We want to give you paid
family leave. But those are not bribes. Those are policy positions that help you, instead of
corporations, foreign governments, et cetera. So overall, you couldn't, there's no reason why you couldn't
do an amount back to the American people. Now, Trump, as Anna pointed out, has never delivered
on any of those promises. You remember the 1776 promise? Oh, because of, you know, our 250
anniversary, I'm going to give you $1,776. He promised that to every citizen. He promised it to the
veterans, to the soldiers. He's given it to no one. He's just giant, giant liar. But there is a
But it is legal, but there is one potentially illegal thing, which is he's like, oh, no,
it's okay, I don't need congressional approval.
No, you definitely do.
Of course you do.
What you mean?
Congressional approval.
You do.
You need.
So look, I know he's never read the Constitution, but I don't know, does anybody, like,
to be fair to the people who voted for him, a third have already broken off.
And now you see it in the polling, right?
The polling is like, no, no, no, no, we're done with this guy, right?
But the two thirds that remain, I mean, can you, like, defend him in any way, shape, or form?
Do you really, are you really that gullible that you think for the billionth lie in a row?
You really think he's going to send you $5,000?
I mean, you've got to be a world-class sucker to believe that.
But also, doesn't it bother you that he doesn't care about our Constitution at all?
Congress passes spending bills.
Congress, Congress, Congress, it's not unclear.
It's one of the clearest things in the United States Constitution.
If the president gets to spend any money he likes, he becomes king.
Weren't you opposed to that at some point?
Don't you care about the Constitution?
I think, look, you're making a legitimate point about what is constitutionally allowed.
Congress controls the purse strings.
That's their role in the system of government, in the system of what's supposed to be checks and balances.
everything feels, and I think to some extent is fake.
Like everything just feels like BS because there is no enforcement of actual constitutional
violations.
So look, can Trump actually do this on his own unilaterally?
No, he can't because you do need Congress to allocate the money for something like this.
That being said, as much as I would love to receive a check for $5,000, at the end of the day,
I care about the future of the country a lot more, and we do need to pay down our debt.
We do need to cut spending.
Yeah.
When I say cut spending, look, let's start with the Pentagon, okay?
There's all this talk about like, we need to modernize our military.
I agree, actually.
How about we stop spending money on these like antiquated carriers or these military bases that just
end up being targets in the middle of our conflicts as we're experiencing right now in the Middle East.
Right, that's an incredibly expensive thing to maintain, you can do away with that.
Maybe we focus more on ballistic missiles and drones.
Yeah, guys, two important things here. First of course Anna is right about the money we waste,
because right now we'll tell you a little bit later in the show, super worried that they're
going to sink one of our ships. The two ballistic missiles that were on fire towards one of the ships,
Apparently it was a super close call.
And as experts have said, well, what if they send four or 20 ballistic missiles next time?
So as I'll explain later on the show, we're cooked, okay?
So building more aircraft carriers is beyond moronic.
The only reason they do it is to rob you of your money and give it to their donors,
Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, whoever builds aircraft carriers.
But there's a second thing, you know, if we didn't spend a trillion on the,
the defense budget, the extra trillion on the defense budget, well, we get to keep it.
You see what I'm saying?
If they give you, because that's the taxpayers' money, if they give you $5,000 since we're in
massive debt, we'd actually have to borrow the money.
Exactly.
So we'd have to borrow from China to give to ourselves.
Japan these days.
Yeah, both, both.
Japan historically China more these days.
And so we have to borrow the money, pay interest for the rest of our lives to give it to ourselves,
That doesn't make any sense.
Why don't we just keep it and not pay the interest to China and Japan?
So it's just moronic in 8,000 different ways.
And look, it might surprise you when I say I'm a fiscal conservative if you're not a
long-time viewer of the show, but I have called this out under Democrats and Republicans.
When they say deficits don't matter, that's just not true.
It's not even close to true.
It just doesn't understand economics at all if you say deficits don't matter.
They matter a lot.
And I don't want to keep piling up deficits.
And I certainly don't want to do that for nonsense programs and 98% of what we spend our money on,
helping corporate donors and helping foreign government donors.
And remember, after the Supreme Court ruled that Trump's trade wars and Liberation Day tariffs policy was unconstitutional,
and that these companies, U.S.-based companies, would have to be reimbursed for the tariffs,
They were reimbursed for tariffs.
I just heard a report today about American Eagle, one of the clothing brands in the United
States.
They were able to bolster their revenue for investors, you know, when they have the investor calls
and everything.
But a lot of the money that bolstered their earnings came from the tariff payback.
And the American people, the American consumers who actually ended up, you know, bearing
the burden of those tariffs, because it ends up being a tax that's passed on to consumers.
Did we get any money back for that? No, of course not. So it was a way of redistributing wealth from ordinary consumers
to corporations that are already doing pretty damn well given the tax cuts that they received under Trump,
given the fact that they were reimbursed for the tariffs that, you know, at least partially we paid for.
It's just- Yeah, so that adds a second element of absurdity to this, and this is important.
So it's not like Trump didn't have the opportunity to give you the money back from the tariffs in the first.
He says he's gonna get the $5,000 to give to all of us from the tariffs.
The Supreme Court already ruled that he has to return the money from the tariffs.
So I don't even know why we're having this conversation, but so he returned a hundred
billion dollars already and that's why you got a check.
Oh no, you didn't get a check and neither did any of us because he gave the $100 billion
dollars directly back to the corporations.
Why?
Because you didn't donate to Donald Trump.
Or if you did, he thinks you were a sucker and you didn't donate a big enough number.
But all of those corporations gave to Donald Trump.
So Donald Trump's like, oh, $100 billion, I'll lie and say I'll give it to the American people.
And the Supreme Court said he could give it to anyone he likes.
He just has the return to terror money, and we're the ones who spend it.
And he's like, I'm not gonna give it to the stupid people.
They didn't give anything to me, they didn't give me millions.
These corporations gave me millions.
Here, here's a hundred billion back.
So he's a proven liar.
All right, since I promised it, we'll end on this video featuring Donald Trump
Trump letting the entire world know, you must develop nuclear weapons immediately.
Take a look.
A nuclear weapon right now, and I would be addressing them as Supreme Leader.
Mr. Supreme Leader, sir, how are you?
But now I don't have to do that.
If they had a nuclear weapon, I'd be calling the Supreme Leader.
And I'd be saying, Mr. Supreme Leader, how are you, sir?
Is there anything we can do for you as opposed to bombing the crap out of them?
I would try to develop a nuclear weapon immediately.
Yeah, and-
What was that?
That was painfully stupid.
Like, you're encouraging them to do the thing we don't want them to do.
I mean, we told you about he has verbal diarrhea.
They, I'm sure that the officers who advise him from the military have told them, sir, we can't
attack the countries that already have nuclear weapons.
I mean, we'd love to attack everyone on behalf of Israel, but some of them have nukes
and we can't do that.
So we've got to attack them before they develop nukes, because that way we can steal their oil,
we can make Israel happy, you can make all your donors happy.
But we gotta make sure that they don't go in that direction so that we can do illegal
wars against them.
Right, so they won't have a deterrent.
And so I disagree with you.
I actually think it would have been better if they did have a nuke.
I don't think we would be involved in this war at all.
Well, Donald Trump just-
That's right.
It reinforced your point, no question.
He just said that Anna's right.
If Iran had a nuclear weapon, we wouldn't be in this war.
The Strait of Hormuz would be open.
We wouldn't have wasted $100 billion so far on the war.
We wouldn't have high gas prices, et cetera.
So apparently there is one thing that even Israel can't get past, which is San Antonio
and Seattle getting nuked, right?
So Trump just told the whole rest of the world, you better hurry and develop nukes as quickly
as you can, which is so counter to our interests, but he's too stupid to know to keep his
mouse shut about that.
And of course, last thing is that he is best friend, Kim Jong-un, the one he said he literally fell
in love with.
A communist dictator in North Korea built eight nuclear weapons while Trump was in his first term.
They had none when Trump came in and they built a giant nuclear fleet.
Why?
Because they wrote Trump a nice letter.
No, no, no.
Trump started writing the love letters back and forth after the nukes.
That's what happens, you build the nukes, Trump goes from talking about his big butt.
and how he's gonna annihilate you to, we wrote love letters to each other.
But why didn't we attack them before? Because North Korea is not next to Israel.
So we didn't have a reason to attack them.
Now I could have, you know, I don't wanna attack them. I don't want any of these wars.
But if you'll notice, you know, outside of Venezuela, which is a very specific case where we knew at an inside person who could get us the president basically for free, and we get all of their oil, outside of Venezuela, every war has been for the benefit of Israel.
That's why we're like, oh, North Korea, develop all the nukes you want.
It doesn't matter, you're not next to Israel.
We have not been ordered to attack you.
Now, we are gonna take a break when we come back, the Hassan Piker scandal,
which I believe proves a large portion of the Republican elite are gay.
We'll be right back.
I'm gonna read these blind.
Let's go to members on t.yt.com.
CB1 says, yeah, you can promise anything when you have no intention to following through.
It's Trump 101, totally right.
Theater goddess, is Jenk being in a weird mood the equivalent of having the zoomies?
I think it's weird.
I actually don't know what the zoomies are.
So maybe I'll get educated on that in a little bit.
Radical Republican 1854 says, the left are their own worst enemy.
I can't believe exercising and being healthy is fascism.
Apparently losing weight also fascists.
Yeah, you'll get those clips in a little bit.
And by the way, remember it's not the left.
It's a tiny, tiny, tiny minority of the left.
Again, we'll discuss.
Boomer Dragon Cat says, 5,000 plus gas will go down and your energy bills will be cut in half,
and the war will be won.
Yeah, all right after the election.
Those are all promises he actually made.
And again, I mean, like I kind of want to meet the people who believe that because I'll
just tell them, hey, give me $1,000 and tomorrow I'll give you $10,000, and then they'll
just give me the money right away, and then I'll never see them.
Like you can just take their money, you can take their house, take anything you want,
because they're so incredibly gullible.
Pessimistic Progressive says, wait a minute, I just give the Israelis idea.
They're like, what if we took a people without a land to a land full of people who will give us anything we want?
Hmm, anyways, pessimistic progress says, want to give everyone $5,000, cancel the memorandum of understanding to Israel and all the corporate subsidies worth around $300 billion.
Give that directly to the people annually.
You literally could do that, and that would be great, but they won't because Israel's superior to you.
Putt says the $5,000 thing has major running for student council president energy, LOL.
Yes.
LOL indeed.
That's really funny.
Nice job.
We'll be back.
On the Young Turks, Janku, Anna Kisparan with you guys and cheesy finger 79, gifting five memberships
on YouTube.
We appreciate it.
Doritos.
Oh, for me, football season is Dorito season.
So I got my fresh bag in Doritos and opened them last night in the first NFL game, loved it.
Oh, I meant I was checking out the Republican midterm convention.
At least you weren't engaging in fascist workouts.
No, I was doing neither.
I was eating his sub and having door.
He doesn't go.
All right, anyways, let's keep going.
The Republicans had a convention for the midterms, I guess.
It's mainly a Trump show, but it turns out, no, wait a minute, my nephew was involved.
Hassan Piper with a big, big showing in his underwear.
And Republicans apparently loved it.
Let's tell you all about it, Anna.
Okay, so if you were at the first day of the GOP midterm convention and you were paying particular
attention to the Jumbotron, you might have seen this image.
Let's take a look.
So that is Jenks' nephew, Hassan Piker, and he appears to be in his underwear.
Now it turns out that it was actually part of a video that the event displayed on the Jumbotron.
And I want to give you a little taste of what that video look like.
Take a look.
It's never ever worked.
It's not going to work this.
Okay, the only thing funnier than that, I would, I mean, I would have died.
If we were there, we would have died.
That's hilarious.
Okay.
But the only thing that was more funny than that was Hassan's reaction to it.
So here he is reacting to it once he realizes it happened.
Take a look.
What is going on?
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No.
No shot.
Oh, oh my God.
Fox News complaining about spring break vibes.
Oh, yes.
Okay, I don't think they do this anymore, but this is like oldie but goody.
They used to have like the B-roll meaning like video playing while the anchor would like
Bill O'Reilly especially like, can you believe these young spring break or scantily clad?
And you like all these women like boobs bouncing around and everything.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They loved it, they love it, they love it.
They love to wag their finger whilst loving it.
Their finger.
So, you know, Sean Hannity is the king of that.
He used to do it every spring break, look at these terrible liberals.
And they're like women with their chest out like this.
Are they all liberals?
Are you kidding me?
A lot of them are conservatives too.
Like especially the ones in Florida, like with spring break in Florida, you think they're
all liberals?
Come on.
Yeah, I mean, speaking of underwear, most of their, the old.
older male audience there was watching that stuff in their underwear.
And so like they and but what's interesting about this one is like it hadn't, they're talking
about communists and what are communists known for being new posing in their underwear?
Like this like it had no logical connection to anything other than I guess they thought
it was a thirst trap for the people attending.
Well, why don't we talk about that?
Okay.
So naturally what occurred led to what the internet.
internet does best, memes.
And this is why I don't quit the internet, because these memes are hilarious.
Let's start with the first one, let's go to Graphics 6 here.
Lindsay Graham's ghost.
Totally.
Okay, now that he's dead, by the way, can I just say there are mainstream media with all the,
oh my god, this guy's tattoos and that one's uncle and that one's cousin and now we're gonna attack everybody?
Do you know that everyone in DC knew that Lindsay Graham would be carried out of gay bars at night,
like regularly?
And all the reporters knew, and they never reported it.
So I-
Because he's for war in Israel.
I know.
So you had to protect him and never, ever investigate him.
Why was he so staunchly defensive about Israel?
Why was he such a big supporter of Israel?
Was it genuine or did Israel have some dirt on him that they,
But by the way, so that's totally true.
Is that possible?
100% possible.
If you think it's not possible, you're a giant sucker.
Oh yeah, no intelligence agencies would never use honeypot operations or blackmail, never.
Well, you're the only an ignorant person or a reporter would say that.
But Anna, Israel had the goods on him, I'm sure, right?
Everyone had the goods on him.
But so did everybody else, right?
The Washington Post, New York Times, and they're like, no, no, no, no, no.
He's wonderfully corrupt.
Do not report anything negative about him.
And by the way, being gay isn't negative.
being against gay people and against gay rights while being gay is the actual problem,
but mainstream media would never dare touch one of their beloved insiders.
Yeah, and look, after Lindsey Graham died, there's a YouTube channel, I believe it's called
Soft White Underbelly.
I could be mistaken, but the content creator interviews all sorts of people, sex workers,
drug addicts, like, and he interviewed a transgender escort who never came out, was never
public about her rendezvous with Lindsey Graham, but after he passed, she did, and was very detailed.
Apparently they exchanged text messages, which is how he was able to confirm that she's not
full of it. She's not making this up.
But anyway, let's move off the uncomfortable discussion about that and get back to the fun memes,
including this next one featuring a well known, you know, conservative commentator,
content creator, Benny Johnson, when he sees it.
I just thought this was hilarious.
There are rumors, rumors have been made.
I don't know how true those rumors are, so I'm gonna move off of it.
I do.
Okay.
But this was my favorite one.
Let's take a look.
Hassan Piper haters when they see Hesan Piker, it's like a little character wearing an APAC hat.
And he has like an angry, like, disappointed face.
And he also has a boner.
Yeah.
Look, there's just no reason to show that picture unless you thought it was appealing.
And now.
How jazzed is Hassan?
Oh.
How jazzed is he?
Because like honestly, they're like a giant PR machine for him.
They really are.
They really are.
I mean, they posted a photo of him looking, by the way,
what made him think it was a good idea to post that picture online?
Well, apparently it was because the Republicans loved it so much.
Now maybe he's going to have a lot of right wing fans.
It ended up being a win.
But it's just, I don't know.
I don't know if I would post something like that.
But it's different for women, right?
I know, but especially because he didn't get the note from the socialist that fitness is fascism.
I wonder what they think of them now.
No, I thought about that.
We'll talk about that later in the show in that story.
I'm not joking, I thought about that.
But to be fair, now I remember the connection to communism.
Maybe they were referring to the hammer and sickle.
Okay, okay, final, final meme.
Let's take a look.
This one features Republican lawmaker Tim Scott.
It says Tim Scott saw this and damn near tore his shirt off.
Now you might be wondering, what is this a still image from?
Well, I'm about to show you.
Let's take a quick look.
Will you keep the majority that came across as a bit insincere?
Yeah.
Yeah.
They don't love our country.
We love the things that happen in our country.
Put up Hassan's underwear again.
We will make America nearly naked again.
Okay.
What culture are you referring to that people like?
All right, keep going.
By the way, did he ever wind up getting married?
I didn't see a ring on his finger.
Because the only time I ever heard that was when he was thinking of running for president
and all of a sudden there was a Mrs. Tim Scott potentially.
And then now she's out of the picture.
What is it about Republicans in South Carolina?
Maybe they're still engaged and the wedding hasn't happened yet.
Maybe that's the reason why we haven't seen a ring on his finger or anything like that.
We'll see, we'll see.
And honestly, I don't care.
I think it's pathetic if you might be gay.
We don't know for sure, but that's the rumor.
And you're literally like prancing around with a beard in order to try to get elected to public office.
It's gross.
Don't do that.
Just be who you are.
Anyway, let's move on to our next door.
You ready?
Okay, now we get to substance because there's a lot going on internationally, especially
when it comes to the Houthis.
Jank, take it away.
Let's roll it.
With fists raised in the air and shouting, God is great.
These Houthi rebels are celebrating amid reports the group has taken control of the Red Sea
City of Mocha.
The move gives the Iran-aligned fighters further leverage over the Bab El-Mandib
Strait, one of the world's most important shipping routes.
An advance would enable the Houthis to strengthen their ability in threatening maritime navigation
and restrict the energy exports of Gulf states.
I want to tell you about a new podcast series I'm enjoying from future hindsight, Occupy an unfinished uprising.
Occupy Wall Street is the story of the improbable becoming possible.
In 2008, millions of people were devastated by an economic crash caused by Wall Street greed.
But it wasn't until 2011 that there was a mass response.
from the left. A call to protests went out and thousands of people responded. I know I was there.
They raged against a system that was rigged against them and tried to create their own anti-capitalist
village in a small Manhattan park. The movement quickly spread across the country inspiring hundreds
of occupations and a new generation of activists. Occupy an unfinished uprising is told through
the voices of activists who camped out in Zucati Park for almost two months, getting inside the drama
of a movement that grew rapidly, felt both transcendent and chaotic, and then violently
flamed out.
Occupy changed the national conversation about capitalism, popularized the language of the 99%
and inspired a generation of activists.
As we approach Occupy's 15th anniversary this September, this series offers a reminder
that collective action can reshape what seems possible.
To listen, search for future hindsight wherever you get your podcast.
Things are not going well in Yemen for Saudi Arabia or Israel or us because the Houthis are on the march and they are marching quickly and easily through their competition in Yemen.
That is going to have huge effects for us in a little bit, but especially for the Saudis and the Israelis.
And on top of this super serious story, which you have to know about, otherwise you won't understand what's happening next in the Iran war.
There is a fun little fact about the town of Mocha that I will tell you later.
Oh, okay, I can't wait for that.
Well, you may have noticed that Brent Crude hit $107 a barrel this morning.
And if you're wondering why, it could have a lot to do with the developments in the war
between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia.
So the Houthis have managed to capture a critical port town of Mocha.
And this victory is huge for the Houthis due to the geographical.
like location obviously of this historic port city.
Now in order to really fully understand and grasp that,
let's take a look at a map and why this is so important for the purposes of the Houthis.
Take a look.
Amoka is located on the Red Sea coast, making it a gateway for maritime trade.
It's also less than 80 kilometers away from the Bab al-Mandab straight,
where the Houthis are trying to gain more leverage.
These are the latest images which appear to show Houthi vehicles in the city of Mokka.
The group has intensified attacks targeting Yemen's western coast in recent weeks in an attempt
to take control of the entire Red Sea coastline.
Okay, so why is the Babal Mendeb Strait so important? Well, the Babal Mendeb, or the Gate of Tears,
as it's called, named for its perilous navigation conditions is the southern outlet of the
the Red Sea between Yemen and the Arabian Peninsula and Djibouti and Eritrea on the African
coast, making it a major prize for the Houthis who control Yemen's most populous areas and
much of the north.
It is one of the world's most important routes for crude oil and fuel from the Gulf bound
for the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal or the Suez Mediterranean pipeline on Egypt's
Red Sea Coast, as well as commodities bound for Asia, including Russian oil.
So this essentially gives the Iran-backed Houthis a lot more control and power in regard
to the flow or transit of oil and incredibly important commodities.
Additionally, the port of Mocha will offer them a new stream of revenue, which is a pretty
big deal when it comes to consolidating power for the Houthis. And they now have direct over
oversight over the Babal Mandab Strait because they can implement a blockade.
What we've heard from the Houthis since this developed is that they intend to allow for
vessels to transit through the strait with the exception of the Saudis, which I think is obvious.
I think we could have expected that.
Now here's more on how the Houthis have now increased their leverage through capturing this port town.
Take a look.
Most of the control of the Ansala Lahoutis was taken place in the northern Red Sea,
but now they have access to the southern Red Sea and access to the Gulf of Aden
and access to monitor the shipping that's coming through the Arabian Sea and even the Indian Ocean.
What we can expect is the biggest advantage that the Ansala al-Huities have right now is taking the city,
basically they cut off three main supply lines, three main supply routes,
for the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
They cut off the main road that links between al-Muha and Ta'ez,
a main road.
This was the lifeline for the internationally recognized
Yemeni government forces stationed in Taiz.
That has been cut off with the takeover of the city of Al-Muqa.
It also cuts off the other supply road that feeds and reinforces
Yemeni government forces in south of Al-Muha,
in places like Aden, and also in areas of Lahjj,
and Abien and further south.
Okay, so this is a pretty big deal and after that was reported, the Houthis only continued
to advance.
So before I talk about how they've advanced land wise, let's just discuss something else that
they did today.
So it looks as though the Houthis possibly struck the east-west pipeline at several points,
both this morning and later this evening.
So it's a Saudi pipeline that runs across the width of the Arabian Peninsula to the Yanbu
at the Red Sea.
And it was specifically built during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s in order to bypass for the
Saudis to bypass the Strait of Hormuz because it was dangerous to try to transit through
the Strait of Hormuz during that war.
And so the straight that we're talking about, the pipeline that we're talking about here that
was struck. These were the go-arounds in order to keep the flow of oil going, regardless
of what happens in the Strait of Hormuz. Now, the Strait of Hormuz is still incredibly
important, but the idea was to have a workaround for the Saudis, which has now been
basically destroyed by the Houthis. Okay, so this is a really, really big deal, and that's why
we're starting to see it reflected in the price of Brent Crude. Now NASA's firms detected fire
less than an hour ago and satellite images showed a significant plume of black smoke over the
south of Medina, indicating that the pipeline was struck. Additionally, when it comes to other
advancements by Ansar ala, better known as the Houthis, the Houthis have reportedly seized
Zooker Island in the southern Red Sea following rocket attacks and a ground assault using
boats carrying armed forces. So seizing this island gives the Houthis major,
military leverage over the Babal Mendeb straight, and that is the vital narrow water passage
for global trade and oil. The island sits directly in the southern red sea near the Babal Mendeb,
where about 10 to 12% of global shipping and huge amounts of oil pass through daily. That is a big deal,
and that was reported. The sourcing for that was the AFP and BBC. So what happens now? Okay,
Well, Tarek Saleh, who is the nephew of the assassinated Yemeni President, Ali Abdullah Saleh,
said on Thursday that he directed his group, remember, these are the Saudi-backed Yemen military
members, right?
He directed his group on the West Coast to establish an alternative command center in a safe location.
So the Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces and their allies were supposed to relocate to an area
known as Dubob, which sits directly on the straight across from the island of Perim.
But Ansar al-a took that over to.
Oops.
So yeah, the Yemeni forces had said that control of the Dubob and the island that the Houthis have
now taken over is key to gaining hold of the Babal-Mendab Strait.
So it doesn't appear that that's going to happen.
Look, guys, I'm not a genius.
I just, I have pattern recognition.
I speak to actual military experts to figure out what's going on, what's possible, what's
impossible.
And here's what I know.
I know that President Donald Trump pulled out of the war against the Houthis, he just gave
up.
And the reason why he gave up is because we, the United States of America with our fancy military
and our fancy weaponry were unable to defeat the Houthis.
What made anyone think the Saudis would be able to defeat the Houthis?
Yeah, so a lot to get to here.
Number one, why are the Houthis winning so easily?
So there's the official government of Yemen that they're fighting against.
Those are real forces that they were locked in a battle with for over a decade.
But now they have so much popular momentum on their side, so much energy on their side.
Because think about it, guys, the other side is backed by the Saudis, and the Saudis are allies
Israel. Like you might not know that if you watch mainstream media here because they make it
seem like, oh, what a big deal that Israel is allied with an Arab. See, they're not racist,
they're wonderful or whatever, right? However they want to spin it. But the reality is that they've
been allies for a long time because the Saudis are dictators who oppress their own people,
and Israel helps them oppress those people. And so now the Saudis have been attacking Yemen for a long
time. And by the way, ironically, some of the Israelis will then say, like, did you guys criticize
them? Oh, yeah, we did. Go back and watch the clips of us saying, this is a terrible war.
We shouldn't be supporting the Saudis. What they're doing in Yemen is totally unacceptable.
But so, no matter what you think of that conflict, on one side, you have a bunch of popular
forces, whether we like it or not, who are saying we're opposing the Saudis who the people in Yemen
hate because of the giant war. Plus, we're doing this to oppose Israel. That is a deal.
deeply popular position in Yemen.
On the other side is we're doing this to help a couple of dictators in Saudi Arabia.
Now who do you think is going to have the energy on their side in a civil war?
It's not going to be close, and right now that's why it's not close.
Before it was more of a stalemate because the Houthis had barely, you know, gotten to a point where they could even engage in a conflict.
They had very little resources.
But I think the big difference maker here is Israel, because now they're going to be a difference maker here is Israel, because now they're
clearly against Israel and it looks and the Saudis are on Israel's side. So that makes the local
population 100% on the side of the Houthis. 100% is too much. There's still ethnic and racial,
not racial, but religious divides, sectarian divides, et cetera. But overall, the Houthis have
huge momentum. Number two, it's important that you know that the Houthis didn't do this out of
nowhere. They had sent a delegation that was coming back to Yemen and the Saudis bombed the airport.
and kind of restarted hostilities.
And I guess in their infinite arrogance, even though they couldn't beat them for over a decade
with so much more money and firepower, they still thought like, ha ha, we could show the
Houthis and we'll boss them around.
And it turns out, no, it's not so easy to boss the Houthis around.
So now they're getting blowback from it.
And of course those guys hated the Saudis to begin with because they've been killing
him for over a decade in the past.
And so now you get to, how is this going to affect us?
Well, now if we've got not just the Strait of Hormuz, but the Red Sea blocked off, that's
two giant routes for oil, fertilizer, and so many other goods to get through, and they can't
get through.
And not only the ones that start at the top of the straight can't get through, but now the Saudi
oil can't get through either.
But on top of that, they're bombing the oil pipelines in Saudi Arabia.
That's why oil is skyrocketing.
And remember, they were barely keeping the price of oil together with duct tape with Trump's
and Besson saying every other day, oh, any second now, the war is almost over.
The gas price are gonna go way down.
It's gonna be like $2, $3 at most, right?
And the idiots in Wall Street are like, oh, oil's gonna go down soon, okay?
So now that everything is blocked and all the oil pipelines are getting hit, they're like,
oh, Trump might have been lying.
I guess they're like the last people in the country to realize that.
What is it guys?
Like ask yourselves this question because it's important and we need to really consider
what our values are.
Isn't all of this worth it to help Israel out?
Special ally.
And guys, enjoy your higher gas prices.
And soak them in because you're going to be around for a while.
Because later in the show we're going to share a really important article saying that we might
stay in the Iran war all throughout Trump's term, right?
So that's years more war, that means years more of those two routes being blocked.
Yep.
That means gas prices are going to be astronomical.
That means more- This is the tip of the iceberg, we haven't even hit the iceberg.
No, you're totally right about that, Jank, because the longer this war goes on, the more
instability you have in the Middle East, the more likely it is that more oil and gas infrastructure
gets bombed to smithereens, and that's not an easy thing to fix once the war is over, right?
This is a complete, utter disaster.
Now, one other thing that I want to show you is, well, much like we experience with the Taliban
in Afghanistan, with the Houthis now being victorious in these areas of Yemen, taking control,
they now have access to the tanks and weaponry.
Let's take a look at the footage of this.
These are the US supplied tanks that were given to Saudi Arabia to try to fight off.
And also the Yemeni forces to try to fight off the Houthis.
Now the Houthis have access to all that weaponry and these tanks.
So congratulations everybody.
But this is what happens.
You play dumb games, you win dumb prizes, and we shouldn't have gotten involved in a war that even if we were victorious in, even
If we won against Iran, what would we be winning exactly?
Like, what was the benefit to the United States of America, a country that Iran did not have
the capacity of harming? They don't have the missile capability to harm us, and they weren't
building nuclear weapons. As our own director of national intelligence, former director
of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, had testified under oath before Congress.
Yeah, so it looks like a giant loss for us. But remember, who is us?
Because if you think the American government represents us, the American taxpayers and citizens,
that's a funny joke, right? You'd have to be as dumb as a mainstream media reporter to think
that. They represent their donors. So it's not just Israel. Israel wants this war, and they want
to be a regional superpower. And if you have to pay much, much higher gas prices, and by the way,
oil goes into all of our plastics, so all the prices are going up big time. But you pay a lot more
on your limited budget, plus you get pay Israel directly, plus you buy them more weapons.
But to be fair, the Israelis then get to be a regional superpower and dominate their neighbors
and take more of their land and do more ethnic cleansing.
And I know how much you guys all love that, because mainstream media tells me all the time
that the country is so Zionist and loves Israel so much.
We would sacrifice everything for Israel.
Or maybe those outlets are owned by radical Zionists who want to plant that thought into your head.
Yes, yes, Jank, yes.
So that's-
You said it.
I didn't have to say, you said it.
No, but that's a fact.
It is a fact.
It is a fact.
I'm not talking about every outlet and there's-
Most.
But Larry Elson is indisputably a radical Zinnis.
Rupert Murdoch is indisputably a radical Zinnis.
That's after media right there, let alone every other radical Zionist that runs every other media organization.
And don't tell me they're not, because they say,
If they say that I'm wrong, great, I'm super happy to report it to you guys.
Okay, it doesn't matter, let's keep going.
So now, but it's not just about Israel guys, it's about all the donors.
So the defense contractors, we lose when they take all of our weapons.
We paid for all those weapons.
Now the Houthis have them, now they're gonna use it against us.
But guess what that means?
Their opposition in Yemen and in Saudi Arabia has to buy even more weapons.
Wait a minute, didn't this happen already?
Oh right, it happened in Afghanistan.
It also partly happened in Iraq, right?
where we sent them a whole bunch of weapons and oops, the weapons got captured.
Now both sides are gonna have to buy even more weapons.
That's a loss for us, a giant gain for Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing, and all of the defense
contractors.
Yes.
So they're not unhappy, but this is a donor class.
Both A-PAC and the defense contractors are like, oh, we love this, more war, more lighting
your money on fire for their benefit.
This is not lighting it on fire, it goes right into their pockets.
That's how this robbery is structured.
Now back to Yemen, we keep making the same mistake.
It's a racist and arrogant mistake.
Like Iraq could fight back against us.
Iraq's gonna be so easy, a bunch of dumb Arabs.
And we'll take it over in a couple of weeks.
Iran, four to five weeks, a bunch of dumb Persians.
You think they could, like they could match America.
And our genius leaders like Donald Trump, who wears the pens at this point, and doesn't
Like, one of the dumbest guys in the whole world and you think, and then the Houthis, they're like,
Houthis, a lot of them are black and they're Muslim and they're poor.
They're running through you like a hot knife through butter.
So who's the dumbasses now?
Yeah, that has been my experience.
Usually it's the poorer people who are weak and lack resilience.
It's usually the like fat, wealthy, you know, constantly comforted people who are the real warriors and fighters.
Yeah.
And so by the way, though, maybe that's their plan because now the Houthis, since they were going to be able to control that body of water, are going to get a lot richer.
Then maybe we could defeat them after they get wealthy.
Yeah, after we become poor.
That's a good point.
Yeah.
Last fun fact, I promised you.
Some pronounce it as mocha or mocha.
Wait a mocha.
Or mocha.
I heard that as well.
Or mocha, right?
So that sounds familiar like mocha, the coffee.
Well, fun fact, that used to be a coffee port.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Because coffee originally comes from Yemen.
I didn't know that.
Wow.
All these fun facts.
And the mocha you drink is named after that town.
It's not a coincidence.
It is literally named after that town.
That's pretty cool.
So next time you have a mocha.
Think of the hoothies.
Think of the hoothies.
If you like it or you don't, they now have the mocha.
We'll be right back.
Let's go to Super Chat.
Metalhead says, I just found out that Zionism was designated by UN as a form of racism
and discrimination.
It was only revoked because Israel made the revocation a condition for participating in
the peace process in 1991.
So look guys, I've now come to a new conclusion on that.
And this war has revealed a lot of things about Israel.
Zionism is obviously racism.
That's literally racism.
It should, Jews should own that land.
and control it, not Palestinians.
Well, that's the definition of racism, my race over your race.
And by the way, the Palestinians didn't ask to control the land and not let Jewish people
have any say.
Like the whole point originally of a one state solution was we share the land, we coexist,
we live together, Zionists didn't want that.
So I don't- They wanted to be a Jewish state, that is by definition racist.
If you say, well, the Saudis are a Muslim state, is that racist?
Obviously. Okay, but Israelis always say no, we get to call everyone else anti-Semites and racist.
You are not allowed to do that to us. I don't give a damn what you think we're allowed to do.
It's obviously racist by definition.
Miyaga wrote in Kamala Harris failed her presidential campaign partially because she failed the distance
to herself from incredibly unpopular president. So happy to JD.
Anti-TJJank, Anna and Marissa Juanita. Thank you for sending in five memberships on YouTube.
Really appreciate it.
Guys, that join button is beautiful.
Participating that we appreciate it.
And then a super chat I was reading during the break.
I was making fun of J.D. Vance for going with Kamala Harris's strategy.
Oh, why don't I wrap myself around a really unpopular president?
Which is a funny point.
All right.
Now, let's do our next story.
To the election.
Why?
I think the war will end immediately after the election.
Because they can't hold out any longer.
They're desperate to try and affect the election so that we can't.
so that we can get a nice, weak group of people in there and leave them alone and let them
have their nuclear weapon.
All they want is a nuclear weapon.
And if they had a nuclear weapon, the whole world is in deep trouble.

This is literally the same guy who said he destroyed their entire nuclear facilities
and that they have no chance of being able to make a nuclear weapon until Israel ordered
his stupid, dumbass back into the war.
So now he wants you to be dumb and think, oh yeah, I bet right after the war, after they'll
elections the war will be over. Okay, but wait till you see what the reality is. It turns out his
own administration is planning to stay for years and years. And has got the whole story.
I sure do. So Trump not only created a mess for himself, according to a new Wall Street
Journal exclusive, both the vice president, J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other
advisors have basically told Trump, listen, homie, this ain't ending any time soon.
In fact, this economic blockade is unlikely to work.
It will not bring Iran to its knees.
And that this could potentially extend the conflict past inauguration day in January of
29.
Now look, if you are someone who happens to have two brain cells to rub together, you already
knew, if you've been paying attention to the war, you already knew it's not going to end
anytime soon. In order for it to end, you would need a president who's willing to take his ball
and go home because we've lost. And we've lost big. We need a negotiated settlement.
Trump is unwilling to engage in that. So we're stuck in this quagmire war. Now, Suzanne Maloney,
who's an Iran expert and the vice president of foreign policy at the Brookings Institution,
that's a think tank, says that the U.S. naval blockade is unlikely to,
to produce a decisive outcome in the near or even medium term.
So the only realistic use of this tool would have to be predicated on plants for a long term siege.
Something that we don't have, I think, the appetite to do because obviously that hurts us economically.
It hurts the entire globe economically.
Further, she says that even then its prospects for success are dubious, mainly because of the unintended consequences, she added.
such as attacks on energy and economic targets in the Gulf states.
Now, this all checks out, considering the fact that Defense Secretary Pete Hegeseth has already
extended some Middle East troop deployments through 2027.
Also, the Pentagon has planned to extend the deployment of some air defense units in the Middle
East with no firm end date.
A third Marine expeditionary unit is preparing to deploy.
to the region this fall, a U.S. official said, signaling a continuing rotation of the amphibious
units that operate from a group of warships. We need to just get the hell out of there.
Yep.
Further, the Pentagon also is rotating Air Force fighter squadrons in the region with Air National
Guards or Air National Guard F-16s replacing warplanes that are returning to the U.S. base
in Italy. Now obviously what Trump is being told behind the scenes conflicts significant
significantly. I mean, it's a complete 180 from what Trump is telling the American people publicly.
He says things like, you know, this is going to end immediately after the midterms. Iran can't hold
on any longer. And this is why history and learning history matters so much. And I'm not even
talking about history from hundreds of years ago. I'm talking about history from decades ago.
If you study the Iran-Iraq war, you could have predicted that defeating Iran would be very difficult.
We literally supplied Iraq with chemical weapons that they deployed on Iran.
And Iran still didn't bend to their will.
Anna, that's such a great point.
And I'm bummed, I didn't think of that earlier.
You're absolutely right.
We gave Saddam Hussein weapons of mass destruction.
There's the infamous picture of Don Rumsfeld shaking Saddam's hand back in the 1980s when he sold
them those chemical weapons.
And then we instructed him to use it on the Iranians, because we hated the Iranians at that time,
and we were friends with Saddam.
Later, we would invade Saddam's Iraq pretending he still had those weapons of mass destruction,
which we sold them.
But we know he didn't have him because he used him on Iran.
And so Iran, after getting gassed, still didn't surrender.
You think they're gonna surrender because they're having slight economic problems?
This idea that they're gonna surrender after the midterm elections, again, you'd have to be totally
detached from reality and completely delusional to believe that.
Trump at this point is just talking to whatever is left of his base.
He's like, those morons will believe anything, right?
Even though I told him it's gonna be four to five weeks and now we're in the seventh month,
I'll tell those idiots two more months and it'll magically go away, right?
He really does on a daily basis, insult them, scam them.
I mean, it's pretty disgusting and I hate to see it.
But anyway, I wanna just add a few more details to this story, a little more color to it,
if you will, because fascinatingly enough, you know, Marco Rubio was named as one of the advisors
who basically told Trump, this isn't gonna end anytime soon.
And this timeline obviously harms the chances of the Republican ticket winning in 2028.
I mean, this is a deeply unpopular war, which is precisely the reason why Marco Rubio has announced.
I'm not gonna run in 2028.
Marco Rubio privately said that he's not planning a 2028 presidential bid.
According to a person familiar with the matter,
Rubio has said he would support J.D. Vance, who he knows is going to lose
as the nominee if he runs.
And again, this Iran war is deeply unpopular.
And look, if you don't trust me, you should trust someone who's actually a conservative on the right.
And that's Tucker Carlson, who just yesterday in his monologue, pointed in
pointed to Trump's massive betrayal when it comes to his promises on the campaign trail versus
what he has done as president in his second term. Take a look.
What made Trump different was he was going to avoid foreign entangments. He wasn't going to
have another neocon war. And he knew that going into a regime change war with Iran would spike
energy prices. He said that privately, including to me. So it's not like he didn't know this was
going to happen. But for whatever reason, and again,
historians will maybe untangle this mystery, he chose following Israel into this war over lowering
energy costs for his own population. And so that was inevitable. Like this was always going to happen
once he decided to follow a foreign country into an unwinnable regime change war. So maybe the
lesson here is don't do that. And of course, this gets the core of everything. It gets to the
reason that Trump betrayed his voters because he followed not their wishes, but the wishes
of a foreign government. That's just a fact. Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, and on
February 4th, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, was at the White House.
Here's the first press conference between the two. This is again February 4th, 2025.
Today I also took action to restore a maximum pressure policy on the Iranian regime,
And we were once again enforced the most aggressive possible sanctions.
I just got word that diesel is now at $216 per barrel.
Jesus, man, that is unreal.
So there's different price for diesel and Brent Crude.
Brent Crude is the one that is most often quoted.
Diesel's usually a little above them, but over $200.
Oh my God.
That's going to impact the entire economy.
It's gonna be devastating.
And guys, now what was holding oil prices in the market together was this, the unbelievable
phenomenon of those guys believing Donald Trump.
Trump, and Scott Besson was a huge part of it, because remember, Scott Besson is one
of those elites from Wall Street.
So when he comes in and goes, and his stupid elitist, oh, God, we almost won the war,
I was about to get up.
They all go, oh, Scott said it, Scott he says we're about to win.
Oh yay, keep low prices low.
And now they realize, oh my God, we're going to stay there for years.
There's no hope at all.
Nahuthis have taken huge portions of Yemen, and now we're going to have two different
straits that are blocked.
And Trump has been telling us the whole time the straight of horror moves open, and it turns
out it's not remotely open.
Oh my God, and panic has said it.
We were wondering when panic was going to set in.
It turns out it's right now.
So now, look, what Tucker Carlson said in that video is indisputable.
Did he choose Israel's war over us paying higher gas price?
Of course he did.
So we're not paying that.
Everybody knew we were gonna pay higher gas prices.
Everybody knew Iran was gonna block the Strait of Hormuz.
And Trump said, yeah, but I prefer Israel to Americans, period.
And of course, guys, this is not anywhere near in dispute, because he said he was against
the forever wars, especially in the Middle East, and now he's in a forever war.
Like his entire administration is gonna be war.
in the Middle East.
And why do they keep doing these senseless wars in the Middle East that never help us?
All they do is drain our resources, trillions of dollars, our boys and girls get killed
and injured and maimed.
So what the hell are we doing this for?
Because Israel is occupying our government, it's not subtle, it's not close, the only
people that deny it are the media that work for Israel and the politicians who work for
literally everyone else knows we have no interest in this war like we honestly had no
interest in the Iraq war. Iraq didn't attack us, Iraq and Iran, in case you don't know
this yet, and you won't know this because mainstream media never ever tells you that.
They're both dead set against al-Qaeda.
They were enemies of al-Qaeda.
Saddam would hang al-Qaeda on the spot.
Iran is from a different sect of Islam and despises al-Qaeda.
But maybe we don't actually hate al-Qaeda as much.
as we were led to believe, right, Jake?
Because we were arming al-Qaeda in Syria.
And you know, Netanyahu after 9-11 said that it was good for Israel.
And now that America's felt that pain, we would do what Israel wants and attack all of his Muslim neighbors.
And so I guess that was good for Israel what happened.
By the way, ISIS and other dangerous, radical terrorist group never attacks Israel.
They only attack Israel's neighbors.
Again, it's probably a giant coincidence, but so far al-Qaeda and ISIS hasn't hurt Israel one bit.
In fact, if you're being very empirical about it, whether it's on purpose or not, they have helped Israel a great deal.
And then you take out two of Al-Qaeda's enemies, Iran and Iraq, and also happens to be Israel's opponents, regional opponents.
And so all of this makes a lot of sense if you're Israel.
It makes no sense if you're America.
Gee, I wonder who's controlling us.
It's not close.
And so buckle up, guys, because if this is not going to end anytime soon, which of course
it isn't, and now it's confirmed, the Trump team internally saying not going to end ever
under Trump, then economic collapse is imminent.
Yeah.
And I'm not exaggerating, it's not hyperbole, it has already begun.
And I think what's going to happen next, my spidey sense is screaming.
We should talk about this more as we go along.
No, no, no, no, not about that.
That's a different thing.
But so last night, sometimes I get these senses and you remember three days before 2016 election when I was like, oh no, Trump's gonna win, right?
Sense of doom and foreboding.
That exact same sense last night, like something terrible is gonna happen.
Yeah.
Like something we haven't seen in our lifetimes because you know, Mark Twain's old quote about,
you know, change happens really gradually and then all of a sudden.
Yes.
Last night I had this sense of all of a sudden is right around the corner.
And we haven't had an economic collapse like this one.
And it hasn't happened yet and we had 2008 and we had the bubble crash in 2000.
And you think like, well, I can't get worse than that.
I think it definitely can.
I think we're about to hit a perfect storm.
You got AI who's gonna take unbelievable amounts of jobs.
Now they're warning, there's a 10% chance it might kill us all.
You've got this war that's totally out of control.
You've got a budget, that deficit totally out of control.
And the Treasury 10 year yields is the most important number.
Yeah, they can't get under control.
And they're in a panic.
Besson put $6 billion in.
It didn't even dent the markets and it continued to rise.
Inflation is gonna skyrocket.
The fed's thing of raising interest rates to try to get ahead of inflation.
So all of our debt is going to be compounded, both personal and the government debt.
And I'm worried about a tsunami that's about to hit us.
And this report saying, that's it, we're under Israel's orders to stay in Iran forever until
Israel is satisfied that we've destroyed them enough.
Oh, that's it, the economic collapses.
Yeah.
Is definitely going to happen.
And then we move on to Turkey for Israel, because that's, war is all they want.
Oh, by the way, they're now.
Cisteriest MFers on the planet when it comes to bloodshed in the Middle East.
Anyway, we got to take a break.
They're threatening Qatar as we speak.
Of course, of course they are.
Okay, pariah state, at some point, a responsible party on the international stage needs to stop them.
Unfortunately, it's not going to be us.
We got to take a break.
Treata Parsi is next.
They blurred my penis.
Can use a little bit of a softer touch?
Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein?
Rich and powerful men, abusing, assaulting, and abandoning young women.
These rich and powerful men donate to the politicians in Washington, D.C., play golf with the elites in Washington, D.C.
They are foreign leaders who we don't want to offend.
They interact with our intelligence agencies that we don't want to disobey.
there is something rotten in Washington.
And are people still talking about this guy, this creep?
All those congressmen you just saw there are on the record as protecting the child rapists who were clients of Epstein.
They have not prosecuted a single person outside of Epstein and Maxwell.
Yep.
Not one.
Is Trump engaging in this cover up because he's in the Epstein files?
I don't understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody.
It's pretty boring stuff.
So as the government keeps selling us, yeah, there's other people.
Yeah, and they rape those girls.
So what?
We're going to cover up for them.
Why are you guys so mad?
A nation that chooses impunity for the rich and the powerful at the expense of our children is a nation that has lost its moral purpose.
Are you on the side of the people?
Are you on the side of America's children?
Or are you on the side of the rich and powerful who've had their thumb on the scales and shafted America.
for decades.
The rest of the news media says you should not fight for positive change.
If you do, you're not really a reporter or a journalist because reporters and journalists
don't care what happens.
I don't agree.
That's not written anywhere, that's not a law.
It's just a rule that they invented so that reporters didn't actually challenge the people that
are in power.
Well, we don't agree with that.
We think we should challenge the people in power that that's actually makes you a better
journalist, not a worse one.
Who do you guys use?
We have AT&T.
And how much do you pay per month?
$3.45, and that includes a company discount.
How many people?
Five phones.
$70 a line, right?
I've started a wireless company called Noble Mobile
that is trying to cut everyone's bills in half.
What would, like, a family of four costs?
The average Noble mobile user is paying 42 a month,
but also they're using their smartphone 17% less.
Okay.
How's that work out?
We give you $20 back in cash every month
based upon how much data you use or don't use.
You know when you're doom scrolling or messing around on your phone,
you're like, oh, wait, I'm actually costing myself money right now.
The goal with Noble Mobile is to encourage us to look up at our children's lovely faces,
like touch grass, appreciate life.
A friend of mine calls these things are rectangles of sadness.
So we're trying to change that and improve everyone's relationships with their phones.
It's a very noble cause.
Well, thank you, sir. That's what he is.
Been on YouTube for 20 years.
The original political partner on YouTube, The Young Turks, the Young Turks.

Favorite news platform by far.
Oh, it's not even close.
The Young Turks, it's the largest online news show in the world.
I watched you guys before I had a channel at all.
And I watched Jenks, so Jenks really the start of it all.
Big shout out to Cheng from Young Turks.
Jenk Yugar, founder of TYT, a man who probably needs no introduction.
Jenk, so great to talk to you.
Great to talk to you, David.
The man, you worked for a long time, man.
Anna Kasparian is one of the most followed and influential progressive women online.
I love Anna.
Your presence has been essential for me to really grow.
Do all of you know the young Turks?
This is why what young Turks are doing is so important.
I've watched you for many years.
You are insightful.
I thank you for that.
I was going to introduce myself, but it sounds like you guys might know it.
First, Jank and Anna with you guys.
We've got a lot more news, but a fun interview first.
Well, an interesting interview.
Also fun because we love having treata Parsi on, especially when there's a lot going on
in the Middle East and with foreign policy.
Treata Parsi is the executive vice president of the Quincy Institute and the author of the
Trita Parsi substack where he shares his analysis on geopolitical events.
Everyone please check that out.
Trita, welcome to the show.
Thanks so much for having me. Love to be on.
So there's a lot going on. We're going to talk about what's going down with the Houthis.
We'll also talk about how long this seemingly forever war with Iran.
is going to last. Before we get to that, though, a video that caught my attention on X this morning
featured Hillary Clinton saying what a lot of liberal Zionists tend to say about Israel.
So I want to take a look at that and get your reaction. Let's watch.
I love Israel and I hate Netanyahu's government and his policies. I love America and I hate
Trump's government and policies. I think it's bad in the first case for Israel what's happening.
And I think it's really bad for the United States what's happening.
Netanyahu had been literally called by, you know, Sheikh Mohammed, Mbz from UAE and warned that Hamas was planning something.
And either he didn't believe it or he wants it's horrible to say.
He wanted to see what they could plan so that then he could come down hard and it would enhance his position.
I don't know what his thinking was.
But the bottom line, talk about a failure of imagination.
This was a failure of leadership.
If the Israelis want to vote for that again,
then I think the United States has to take a very tough position.
I think we could work with a new government.
And I did an interview with Mike Froman a week or so ago.
He said, well, does it really make a difference if Netanyahu leaves?
I said, yeah, I think it really does make a difference.
And of course, it depends on who's in the coalition.
He said, well, give me one example.
I said, well, I would hope that a new prime minister would crack down on settler violence in the West Bank.
So Trita, this is again a common statement that I hear from liberal Zionists who want
us to continue supporting Israel, but want to fool people into, in my opinion, fool people
into thinking this is just a Netanyahu problem.
It's just a Netanyahu problem.
Can you explain to our audience whether she's right or wrong and then elaborate?
Well, obviously she's wrong.
Keep one thing in mind, there's a long list of things we can say about what Hillary Clinton
has done in the Middle East and with Israel.
on the Palestinian issue that is quite disastrous.
But we don't have to go that far back.
We can just go back to the op-ed that she had just a couple of weeks ago in which he endorsed
the Trump Board of Peace, which is an absolute disaster, which is nothing more than justification
for the Israelis to annex all of Gaza.
It's already under 70 or plus present control of the Israelis at this point.
So I think it's very clear what's happening.
This is Operation Make Netanyahu the fall guy.
Save Israel, make sure that the US goes back to the previous policy of just giving unchecked,
unfiltered support, a blank check to the Israelis on almost everything and just say that whatever
happened before was just because of Netanyahu.
That was the problem.
It's not a systemic problem.
There's nothing wrong with the occupation per se.
It's just what Netanyahu and Smokritrich and Ben-Givir did.
And I think this is the hope of a lot of centrist Democrats, that they can just have any other
face, even if it is someone like Naftali Bennett, that in many ways is actually more hawkish
than Netanyahu, just someone that they can say, well, this is not Netanyahu, and now we
can go back to business as usual.
One other thing I want to say about this, keep in mind, that article revealed, of course,
that the Biden administration knew a lot about these things.
And that Tony Blinken did not intervene, or they try to put some pressure on Netanyahu when they
When it didn't work, they went back to just defending whatever he was doing and blaming Hamas for everything.
I think it is a reasonable conclusion to draw that as a former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton was oftentimes consulted by the Biden administration and probably was informed about a lot of these different things, but chose not to go out and say anything about it until now.
Meaning that for a very long period of time, a lot of these people sat on this information.
They could have come out and said actually the hostages could have been released on day one.
Let's put some real public pressure on Netanyahu in order to save the hostages, and they chose not to do so.
Yeah.
Look, you're in D.C., but look, I'll just say I think Anthony Blinken and most of the folks in D.C. work for Israel.
So I don't think it's that complicated as to why they hit all that damaging information for Nanyo.
But that goes to the point I want to ask about in the case of Hillary Clinton.
It feels to me that there that there's now a battle between the two different sets of Zionists here in America.
The Zionists who are hardcore Netanyahu supporters and say that genocide wasn't big enough.
Let's go keep killing and killing and taking more land.
This is our moment.
We control America completely.
Let's just, you know, we're going to lose control soon anyway.
We might as well milk them for everything we got.
And the other group of Zionists who go, no, no, no, let's go back to long-term control and make people forget that we're in control.
The problem with the genocide isn't even so much the genocide for that group of Zionists, in my opinion.
It's that it's exposing what Israel actually is.
So hence you sent Hillary Clinton out here.
And you could hear it in her language.
Because she said if you can go back and rewatch the tape, she said like, first of all, this is really bad for Israel.
And then also bad for America.
Like, like, as if she's talking to her Zionist donors.
And a lot of Democratic politicians do this.
If you listen, like, as an average voter, you're like, I don't, it's kind of a weird thing to say to me, right?
I just want to get out of the war, et cetera.
But they seem to be talking to their donors instead.
Now, remember out there, I'm here on Morning Joe on purpose to remind all of you the strategy.
We blame Netanyahu and say Israel's great right after the elections in Israel, right?
And so am I seeing that wrong or is that basically what's happening behind the scene?
No, and I think your first point about these two different categories of Zionists, I think is a very valid point because this is what always has been the case.
People who are willing to just go straightforward, they don't care about the backlash, you don't care about the bad press, they just want to give Israel whatever it wants and then justify it.
And others who are more in the business of war crimes management, which means you're still supporting it.
You just wanted to be done at a lower pace, at a lower level of transparency, just to make
sure that the backlash against it doesn't create problems for Israel or doesn't create problems
for you so that you can sustain that policy for as long as possible.
But the trajectory of what they are doing, of the situation they're creating is the same.
That's why when Trump came out with the Abram accord back in 2019 or whatever it was.
To me, it was the logical conclusion of longstanding American policy.
It was not a paradigm shift.
It was just skipping all the intermediate steps and going to the logical conclusion, which
is you're going to throw the Palestinians under the bus, you're going to give the entire land
to Israel, and then you're going to pressure or give incentives for the Arab countries,
To go along with this, normalize with Israel and just forget about the Palestinians altogether
throw them under the bus.
There was never a difference in the trajectory or where the end station of this would be.
The question was always, how fast would you do it and how blatantly would you do it?
And that's the difference we're seeing now.
She's in the camp of saying let's blame Netanyahu, let's go back to a slower pace, but
it's going to be pretty much the same policy.
We're gonna blame a little bit on some of the most extreme settlers, as if that is the problem.
Whereas in reality, the settlers are a symptom of the larger problem of occupation as a whole.
Well, let's talk about what appears to be the only group on the international stage that has any interest in defending the Palestinian people.
And that would be Ansar al-Lah, the Houthis, who the latest news is pretty big.
They managed a major victory in their fight against Saudi-backed forces in Yemen.
They've now captured the port city of Moka, and that gives them more control over transit through
the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
And so we're losing this war against Iran, that's clear.
Our military bases have been annihilated by the Iranians.
On top of that, you know, you have the issue with the Strait of Hormuz, which is a major choke point, that the Iranian
Iranians are using as leverage.
Then on top of that, the workaround for the Saudis happen to be the Babalmandub
straight, which now the Houthis control entirely.
So my question to you is, regardless of our corrupt politicians on both sides of the political
aisle doing the bidding of Israel, none of that is really gonna matter when we lose power,
we're running out of interceptors, we're not able to bring Iran to its knees,
Iran is more empowered and actually at this point does pose a threat to Israel, when the
US does not have the capacity to come in and defend Israel as we've been doing, what happens
to Israel?
And does Israel believe they have a right to exist because they're not acting like it?
So first of all, in terms of what the Houthis are doing, I think what you're pointing to
is something very, very important.
There's been a narrative that has been created that has some elements of truth that almost
all narratives do.
that the efforts that the Trump administration has done in this trade has partially opened
it and put a lot of pressure on the Iranians.
Here's where things go off the rails.
As a result, the narrative in the Western media has been, the US is winning this, Iran
doesn't have time on its side, this is soon going to be over with.
And that's where everything goes completely wrong.
Because reality is that the Iranians still have a lot of leverage that they have not exercised.
We're seeing already that they're willing to be more aggressive in targeting U.S. ships,
targeting U.S. bases.
We saw what happened in Jordan.
We know now, at least I spoke to a former U.S. official who told me earlier today that
the only reason why the Iranians have not blown up an American ship is simply because
they have chosen not to do so, not that they can't, that they have chosen not to do so.
And it could be many different reasons why they have not chosen to do so yet.
But the other element of it is the Houthis.
And we knew that already before.
that one of the additional escalatory steps, counter escalatory steps the Iranians could take,
was to work with the Houthis to close the battle mandate. And what you just pointed to is that
now we're seeing that taking place. And this is the problem with the narrative, the very superficial
narrative that we have had in Washington, which is just because the Trump administration has managed
to get some additional leverage vis-à-vis Iran, perhaps, does not in any shape or form mean that the
the strategic situation has changed.
Because for that to have happened, you have to then assume that the Iranians do not have any
counter-escalatory options.
And they clearly do plenty of counter-escalatory options.
And now we're seeing two of them.
What they're doing against ships, and of course, even more importantly, perhaps their willingness
to choke the global energy markets by closing also the Babelamandab.
And I think it's going to be extremely difficult for the United States to simultaneously fight
the Houthis in the Red Sea and fight the Iranians in the Persian Gulf.
And we see all prices are now around $100, $60, $107 gone up about $20 just in the last
couple of weeks, which clearly shows that any belief that the U.S. could just maintain the situation,
calm it, have some level of stability before the midterms was truly false and over exaggerated
in terms of what the capacity of the US is.
So Trita, I'm gonna ask you two questions that follow up on that.
So you know, we reported here that trade of hormones about 25% open, 75% closed, roughly speaking.
So yeah, we did manage to open a little bit of it as you just alluded to there, but not enough.
Because it's all about how much oil can come out.
Now if you block the straight by Yemen, then okay, we're in bigger trouble than when it was just a
straight of hormones, even if it was 100% earlier.
So those things are clear, those are leverage.
We're hitting our basis clear leverage, and they've done that very, very effectively.
No one can deny that.
But the two biggest ones on the board are hitting the Gulf countries oil and gas fields, which
would affect gas prices massively.
They've held back from that a little bit because they don't want their gas fields hit.
And so, but that's certainly an option for them, and they could do that at any point.
And then I'm gonna ask you to correct me where I'm wrong here if I'm wrong at all.
And then, but to me, you alluded to it there, the, I said it on day one of this war.
I think they're going to sink one of our ships if we keep going.
And they, what it looks like from the reporting is that they fired two ballistic missiles.
They barely missed, right, through our actions to counter them, et cetera.
But that leaves me with the impression.
Well, if they fired four or eight or 20, they'd almost certainly sink one of our ships.
Is that, do you think that's true and accurate?
And then the follow question that is, so when do they press that button?
When does this?
Because now that it looks like we're not leaving at all, period, according to the Wall Street
Journal, we're gonna stay for the rest of Trump's term, well, then they have less incentive
to hold back.
So do they do it before the midterms or after the midterms?
Okay, on the first one, I think there's different narratives out there.
What I've been hearing is that they shot these missiles, it's apparently not ballistic missiles.
some sort of a new missile, deliberately exploding it above the ship, causing some damage,
but not a direct hit at all, deliberately as essentially a warning.
And those ships did leave that area after this warning and apparently did take the US
a bit by surprise.
So now, let's say it was the other marriage of the one that you mentioned, that they shot
two and they miss.
Yeah, absolutely.
If they shoot four or eight or so at some point, they're gonna hit.
And if it's directed, it will cause significant damage, large number of casualties, and
potentially even sinking one of those ships.
So I think it's only a question of time if this gradual escalation continues in which that
unfortunately will happen.
And then it comes to the question of when will they do it.
I think they are now under the impression that Trump simply is incapable of making a deal,
he's uninterested in making a deal, and he is waiting to do a major escalation after
the midterms.
And in that major escalation, the Israelis likely will participate.
The reason why Trump pushed back against the Israelis being part of round two, these 13 days
in between in which there was some fighting, was because he doesn't trust the Israelis.
He knows that the Israelis will escalate beyond what the Trump administration wanted at the time.
They didn't want to see desalination plans, et cetera, be attacked.
But if Trump now is under the impression that the only thing he hasn't tried, he's tried
diplomacy, he has tried sanctions, he's tried limited war.
But in his mind, he hasn't tried all-out war.
Well, if that's what he's going for, he's going to want the Israelis to be part of it, because
then they're actually aligned.
The Israelis want all-out war as well.
This is part of the reason why the Iranians are hitting Jordan.
Those bases in Jordan are crucial for defending Israel in case the Iranians shoot missiles
at Israel, which they likely will do in round three if the Israelis enter the war.
And that raises the question, okay, when will they do this?
If they believe that Trump is destined to do this after the midterms, if they come to the
conclusion that it's no other way, there's no way to avoid it, he will do so after the
midterm elections, then I find it to be more likely that the Iranians themselves will
trigger the third round of this war and they will do so a week or two weeks before the
midterm elections in order to maximize not just the military impact but also its political
impact.
Wow.
Trita, your analysis is indispensable.
Thank you so much.
Everyone, please check out Trito Substack.
Of course, our pleasure, and we'll talk to you soon.
Have a great night.
Thank you so much.
Talk to you soon.
All right, everybody.
We're gonna take a brief break when we come back.
We've got more news for you, including, what are we gonna talk about?
The compatible left, as it's called.
I don't even know what that means.
Well, you're about to find out.
Yeah, we're gonna find out together.
All right, look back.
Hey guys, so we're on Substack and X as well, so I'll go to GW.
B on substack, seasoned generational warriors versus mercenaries paid by the Saudi perfume
princess.
So basically saying of course the Houthis are winning because on the one side we have
princes who have put on their perfume and the other guys who are seasoned warriors.
I think that's true.
Clara Hart, a little less true but we still love you.
Hello there, Alex and Turk.
Prince on Malian on eggs, writes in, of course Grindr broke on the first day of the GOP
midterm convention in Texas?
That tends to happen.
That does tend to happen.
That does tend to happen.
Yeah.
Viva Sumud Pack, a resistor says,
and is an Israel-led U.S. war with Iran dragging on for years means gas at $20 per gallon.
Netanyahu gets us forever war and you pay $300 to fill up a civic.
Debt to the moon, trillions doesn't drain the, doesn't the drain so Trump can tweet total victory.
They continue while the economy crumbles.
superpower and decay, America burning trillions on foreign misadventures while its own infrastructure
crumbles, showing the world a decaying empire that can't even govern itself but servant to genocidal
Israel.
This thing's, the whole thing's gonna blow.
I mean it politically and culturally and socially.
There's going to be a giant, giant change soon.
So, and it's gonna come with a lot of pain.
That's my opinion.
Microdave says the 25 year of members of 9-11, keep in mind the same country that 15 of the 19 hijackers
were from, the country were almost all of the funding for.
for 9-11 and the US as coal bombing originated is getting nuclear technology from Trump.
That's true. That is Saudi Arabia was not Iraq.
Back on TYT. Now, it's Jenk and Anna, and I've got to share important news with you guys with a gallon

Just don't post any photos of yourself in your underwear, okay?
Okay, oh me?
Oh yeah, you could rest easy on that one.
Leave that to your nephew, who I hope also stops.

Now, let's go to our next story.
You have to give up the fantasy of being fitter than the fascists.
It's not just that it's cringe or strategically bad.
Though it is.
The point is not to beat the fascists at their own game.
It is not to lay a better claim on their own territory by being fitter, more eugenic.
In fact, the more dysgenic, the better, I think.
Revolution is not a contest between optimized and properly prepared bodies.
That idea is fascist in and of itself, and erases the history of left struggles around
the world.
So apparently fitness is now fascist, and that's obviously why I haven't been doing it.
Okay, this is a socialist conference, and they have said some absurd things are gonna break down.
But hey, for the first time, we're not the only ones on the left saying, guys, can you cut this crap out?
So Ryan Grimm is waiting and others have weighed in as well.
Let's tell you the whole story.
Well, I just wanna quickly make sure and emphasize that she said dysgenic is good.
we should root for more dysgenic.
That means biological deterioration.
Why are you advocating for that?
Why do you think that's a good thing?
What are we even doing?
Like, okay.
Fitness is a bad thing, being healthy is a bad thing.
I know, I lifted some fascism last night, okay?
I did some curls while squatting and like now I'm a bad person.
I should pursue being more dysgenic, I guess.
Okay, anyway, let's talk about it.
this. Now this was the Socialism 2026 conference. It is different from DSA.
DSA also has their conferences, but this was not a DSA event. This took place this
past weekend in Chicago and over 3,000 people attended and the speakers included
Hassan Piker, Angela Davis and more. I watched Angela Davis's talk and it was interesting.
in a weird way, not in an impressive way, to be honest with you.
She was talking about justice for animals, but not in the way you would expect.
It was rambling.
I don't think she really had a thesis to her speech.
But anyway, putting that aside, Aidan Grogan, who someone named Aidan Grogan and Stu Smith
documented the conference in detail on X.
I don't know too much about Aiden, but Stu Smith in particular is part of the very right-wing
Manhattan Institute.
So you can understand some of the motivations of sharing clips from the event.
Now they're the ones who broke all of the viral clips.
And we're gonna watch two more featuring a speaker arguing that GLP1 drugs are fascistic.
And a professor admitting that defunding the police would be catastrophic, but insist that it should
be done anyway.
Let's watch.
The political deployment of GLP-1s is fascistic.
Not because individuals take them, but because the conditions under which
they become necessary are shaped by a world fixated on genociding fat people.
I was in LA 10 years ago.
I was talking to, you know, kids who had been on the wrong side of law enforcement.
And I had just ran Golden Gula.
And I was like, y'all, we should abolish a whole bunch of stuff.
Let me tell you.
And I brought up the police.
And, you know, I think five or six different people said, well, that's crazy.
We can't do that.
But they go left immediately if we abolish the police.
And I don't think that that, even if that's true, that doesn't mean abolition as
the horizon isn't true.
Okay, I am against abolishing both police and prisons.
I think policing needs to be reformed.
And I think our prisons need to be reformed in order to be rehabilitative as opposed to just punitive.
I've been consistent on that.
And I was under the impression that that was always the goal until I realized that wasn't the goal
for some on the left.
Okay, but putting that aside, Aiden Grogan apparently went to the event and he watched
some of the panel discussions that were not broadcast.
They were not on camera.
And he says that included family abolition workshops, discussions of communist sex forests,
which actually sounds kind of fun if you're into that kind of thing.
I don't know what's happening here, but I kind of want to find out.
Again, there might be some hammer and sickle action there.
But like family abolition workshops, what does that mean?
I don't know what that means, what does that mean?
Okay, don't start a family, I don't know, trans feminist abolition, I don't know what that means,
and lectures about the cis sexist motherhood regime.
Okay, what does this have to do with labor power?
What does this have to do with the working class?
What is this?
And also, it is okay to have your own hang-ups about things, your own issues with whatever.
But centering yourself in what is supposed to be a movement focused on labor power,
empowering ordinary working class people seems selfish to me.
Yeah, all right, look guys, so I have a unique opinion on this.
So Anna and I have gotten into some of these battles with these folks on the left,
and we were the first ones to engage on the idea of abolishing prisons.
And people came at us with two different things there.
One was you're wrong, of course, prisons should be abolished, and you haven't read any books.
That was we heard a lot about that.
And I read the books and I read the books and they gave me no answers.
Yeah, and by the way, none of the people we debated have read those books and they never
had a single point from any of those books.
They never had a single point to begin with.
And so it's easiest for us to go, ha ha, right?
But I'm not going to do that.
Like, I think it's absurd.
So everything they're saying is patently absurd.
In fact, let me stay on that for a second and then I'll come back to what I think we should do.
Look guys, that gentleman was talking about earlier how people are fixated on genociding fat people.
Nobody's genociding fat people, okay?
And I mean, and the GLP-1s get rid of your fat.
Maybe you genocide the fat.
I know, and then you're not fat anymore, which means a genocide has been committed.
Yeah, I mean, you have to stop talking in these acidine ways.
You don't have to stop.
You can do it all day long.
So that brings me to the point that I want to make.
Just like as long as you say, look, we know we're a tiny minority.
Not a lot of people agree with us, even within Democratic Party or the left.
We are nearly microscopic.
But we're going to grow in might, and we're going to convince everyone that fitness is terrible
and we should all be obese.
And we're going to win the country over.
No problem, no problem.
But don't tell me that you speak for the left because that does damage, right?
Because then you wind up ironically agreeing with Fox News.
Fox news and these guys, oh, we're the left, we're the left.
And we, you know, and fitness is fascism.
No, brother, like 99.8% of the left does not agree with that.
So, okay, before I get to the good stuff, Anna, you disagree with that?
Yeah, I do disagree with that.
I think that you're underestimating the influence that they do have.
I mean, I've seen that influence in Los Angeles, specifically.
They've had success on a local level.
So for instance, Los Angeles, and I wrote a lengthy investigative report about this before
real clear investigations fired me because someone on their board doesn't like my commentary
about Zionism.
But okay, putting that aside, I did a lengthy investigation into it because after 2020,
the L.A. City Council actually made good on their promise of defunding the police.
And they actually did defund it.
They got rid of a ton of sworn officers.
So then we ended up with a shortage of sworn officers.
And we ended up as taxpayers in Los Angeles spending a lot more on policing because the
remaining sworn officers ended up getting paid overtime because we had a shortage of cops.
So that's empirically true.
We covered it on the show.
We showed you the numbers.
Look, but what I'm saying, Anna, is not that they have no influence at all.
And we've talked before about why they do better in local elections as opposed to
national elections.
But if you poll Democratic voters across the country, do you want to abolish prisons,
I don't think it would get higher than 2%.
Do you think it'd get higher than 2%?
Probably not.
Right?
So my point is, but they don't say that.
Whenever we've debated them, they always say, we're the left, and you guys are right-wingers.
All of the left wants to abolish prisons.
Well, that's maniacally untrue, not remotely true.
And they have to stop saying things that aren't true.
So also we pay, oh, it'll lower crime to get rid of cops and it'll cost less.
Well, those things prove to be untrue.
So you, like we have to deal in the reality-based world, not in the fantasy world you'd
like to live in.
Now having said all of that guys, we can keep that fight going forever.
And there's nothing wrong with debates within the party and within the movement.
Why are we all supposed to agree?
We're not all supposed to agree, and they don't agree with me, so what?
And we've had those debates.
I said my side, they say their side.
No problem.
I would rather focus on the things that we agree on.
And so I say that when it comes to Tucker Carlson being anti-war.
I disagree with them on a lot of things, but you're anti-war, great, I agree with you on that.
And DSA or Socialists, you're for Medicare for all, I love that.
You want to get money out of politics, I love that, you're anti-war, I love that, okay?
So let's do the things we agree on first.
Can we run on that?
Because those are super popular.
Let's run on things that we all agree.
on and that the whole country loves, instead of then coming out and be like, oh, we're
going to abolish Thanksgiving or fitness or whatever.
Because then at that point, you're helping the other side.
And it doesn't make any sense.
We should all fight back and go, no, no, no, no, no.
That's for another day from a tiny little group.
And maybe they'll get larger, but they're not large yet.
Let's focus on the things that we all massively agree and prioritize like Medicare for
all money out of politics and the war.
Yeah, but okay, but just look, putting the whole political strategy part of this discussion
aside because I just, I don't even want to get into that, okay?
I think political lines are, they don't make any sense in today's day and age.
I think the left-right paradigm, as we have come to know it, makes absolutely no sense in the
world that we're living in right now. So putting the political strategy aside for a second,
I just want to talk specifically to the individuals who see that message, they agree with it,
they nod along. You need to take care of yourself too. Okay, I get it. Fitness is hard.
It's annoying. Okay, we want to not have to worry about exercising regularly. We want to eat what we want
to eat. And we want to feel good about the fact that we're making those decisions.
But the fact of the matter is, if you are not taking care of your personal health, that is a bad decision.
You should care about your personal health.
That is not fascistic.
Okay?
I just, and more importantly, when you're putting a message like that out there, are you trying
to make people who do care about their health and their fitness feel bad?
Also, we have a broken health care system.
There's no question about that.
But if you look at the statistics in the United States versus other developed countries,
one of our big problems is that we are overmedicated and we are overweight.
And that is leading to an extreme amount of cost to our health care system.
Right.
So if you want to push for Medicare for all, for instance, well, how are you going to make the
case for Medicare for all under a system in which we're $40 trillion in debt?
we are spending a lot more on health care because of administrative costs and all of that,
I agree, but also because of the fact that Americans, unfortunately, are unhealthy.
We're eating poisonous food because we have a broken corrupt FDA and USDA and just political
system in general. Again, we're overmedicated. And yeah, we're overweight as a nation.
Yeah, look, again, empirical reality, if you're overweight like I am, you are going to be
unhealthier, period. It's not in debate. It's not, you could want being fat to be better,
right? But it isn't better health-wise. So snap out of it. And so I just can't stand,
whether it's on the left or the right, everyone pretending that these guys represent the entire
left, when you know what percentage of Democratic voters believe fitness is fascism, near
zero, zero point zero, and then a bunch of jackasses wearing masks.
eight years after COVID, which I can't understand for what reason that happens.
But anyway, let's keep going because there's good pushback against it now.
Okay, so the pushback comes from people who are firmly on the left.
So I'm happy to see it because it used to be a lonely place to be back in the day.
So Julian Andrioni from DropSight News, can we, by the way, he's very young.
He's in his early 20s.
Can we leave this utterly insane stuff in 2020?
I agree.
I do not want a return of 2020 culture wars.
It was terrible.
You also have Rania Calic, Lebanese-American and also the host of dispatches who says we should never concede health and fitness to the right.
Fitness and taking care of one's overall health are important, not to demonstrate genetic or class superiority,
but to improve health and quality of life as much as possible.
I totally agree with her on that.
You should want to be healthy and you should want to encourage your friends, your family,
the people around you, your political movement to also want to be healthy.
This is not a debate.
This is not a debate.
Ryan Grimm, let's go to him.
He says he had a back and forth with the woman who wants us to be more dysgenic, I guess.
Now that the left is actually within reach of attaining real power, this kind of antisocial
behavior should be thoroughly shamed.
And she responded by saying, everyone taking the bait from right winged.
control accounts to lean into fitness as a virtue is just proving my point, by the way,
which- What's your point?
I don't get it.
And he says exercise is good, physically, mentally, and spiritually, telling people that
exercise is fascism is, fill in whatever word you prefer that isn't ableist.
That's hilarious.
So I get what she's saying.
She thinks Ryan Grimm is a right winger.
I know.
And since Ryan Crim is disagreeing with her, she thinks that's it.
You see, I told you the fascists we're here to make us healthier.
We've got to resist them.
Ryan Grimm is not remotely on the right.
It's cuckoo for cocoa puffs to think that Ryan Grimm's a fascist.
This is the way I see it.
You don't want to take care of your health and you don't want to feel guilty about it.
That is your hang up.
So go deal with it in therapy, but you don't have to voice it in the middle of any conference,
in my opinion.
Okay, like this is nonsense.
Again, in my opinion, they could voice anything they're like.
I'm not in the business of canceling anyone.
I just don't want anyone pretending that these people are in any way representative of the left.
So that's why I love that the rest of the left is pushing back.
We're pretty lonely out here.
There are a few people and I've named all of them who have pushed back openly.
Look, I'll say it, I'm curious what our old rivals or whatever think about all this,
Because they pretended that this was super popular and this is what the left wanted.
So is it still that or are they going to now move the goalposts and go, nobody wants that.
So I don't know why you're talking about it when nobody wants it.
But what you told me earlier that everybody wanted it?
So which one is it?
I would like Americans to thrive, not live in poverty, and have a say at the workplace.
That's what I want.
Yeah, we want higher wages.
higher wages, we want universal healthcare, we want paid family leave.
And if you're on the left or you call yourself a socialist, these should be core demands.
Paid family leaves at 84%.
Getting money out of politics is 93%.
Ending the wars is 80 to 90%.
Why don't we do these things first, right?
Now I'm gonna go and talk about absurd things about that it's gonna turn off every voter.
Like it's almost, I know they're not, I think they're not.
But it's almost like what a right wingers would plant into the left wing movement to destroy it.
Well, this is the reason why right wingers will highlight these moments from these conferences
and make these videos go viral all over the internet.
And then that's what gives people the impression that this is representative of the whole left wing.
And that forces us to push back and say, of course, it's not representative of the whole left.
It's not representative of 1% of the left.
All right, there's a breaking story that I really want to cover, Jank.
So bear with me, he hasn't read it.
I just got word of it and read it.
So I want to share it with the audience.
So let's get into it.
It has been one year since Charlie Kirk was tragically assassinated before the entire world.
And the gray zone has just published an investigative report, Max Blumenthal, in particular, regarding what turning point USA.
has been engaging in following the assassination of Charlie Kirk that raises some
eyebrows, that's for sure. So the piece is titled Charlie Kirk's TPUSA sponsored by
Israeli government-aligned outfit leaked contract shows. So Blumenthal got his
hands on this leaked contract and here's what we know about it. And I'm gonna
read verbatim from his piece. One year after Charlie Kirk's killing, the Charlie
Kirk Show is distributed by a federally registered agent of Israel and his widow, Erica,
has reversed his critical positions on the US Israeli special relationship.
Remember, in the last few months of his life, he had become very vocal and critical of Israel.
Now the gray zone can reveal that the TPUSA organization he founded is holding faith events sponsored
by an Israel based nonprofit with close ties to the Israeli government.
A leaked contract obtained by the Gray Zone reveals that TPUSA entered into an agreement with
international fellowship of Christians and Jews, IFCJ, to sponsor a series of Christian faith-based
summits between 2025 and 2027.
So this contract was apparently signed when Charlie Kirk was still alive.
It was in the last few months of his life.
So this was in May of 2025, the contract was signed, the contract committed IFCJ to pay $700,000,
just $700,000 to TPUSA over two years.
In exchange, the group was to receive a series of promotional benefits, including main stage
speaking slots for its president, okay, Yael Eckstein, and the distribution of pro-Israel
activism kits to over 200 college campuses.
So this is based in Israel and Chicago, IFCJ presents itself as a charity which raises money
for Christians, from Christians to assist Jewish people supposedly suffering from poverty
and anti-Semitism.
In fact, in reality, it's a fundraising behemoth, which is currently on a spending spree,
plowing millions into American conservative media while partnering closely with the Israeli government
to spread Zionist propaganda.
Yeah, so I'm actually not remotely surprised, partly because Charlie Kirk has already said
that he was getting enormous pressure from Jewish donors who were supportive of Israel.
And there was, he talked about how there was a donor who withdrew $2 million from Talking Point
USA when he allowed Tucker Carlson to speak at their conference.
So he raised over $500 million for Turning Point USA.
They're nonprofit, so it wasn't an investment, it was people giving him money, let's be honest,
to do propaganda.
And you know who was honest about it?
Was Charlie in a lot of ways.
And he said they wanted pro-Israel propaganda.
And so here's more Israeli groups, Israeli supporting groups, paying T.P.USA to give propaganda
for Israel. By the way, Charlie stopped doing propaganda for Israel after having taken $500
million from groups like that, and Charlie's not around anymore. And now the people that
are around are like, oh, yes, of course, we meant Israel. Forget what Charlie was saying. Israel, Israel.
Now to be fair or accurate, Charlie used to say that. That's what he used to say 90% of the time.
Before he was murdered, he stopped saying it. And now turning point USA is back.
to saying it, and look at that, they seem financially healthy.
A few more details. So IFCJ's president, I mentioned him earlier, Yael Eckstein, even boasted
that her organization effectively supplements the Israeli state. This is a direct quote.
We're a non-governmental organization, but we effectively distribute the aid so well that the
government of Israel asks the fellowship to build projects for them during times of emergency.
Now this contract that TPPUSA signed with IFCJ was inked in the midst of a severe crisis
at the house that Charlie Kirk built. That's what Blumenthal's writing here. At the time,
Kirk was publicly anguishing over the increasingly onerous demands of those he described
as Jewish stakeholders who were threatening to pull their support for TPSA,
unless he stopped providing space at his events to conservative critics of
Israel, including Tucker Carlson and Megan Kelly.
Let me give you the quotes.
Charlie said at the time just lost another huge Jewish donor, $2 million a year because
we won't cancel Tucker.
I'm thinking of inviting Candace.
So he did not like it.
He went on to say further that quote Jewish donors were playing into all the stereotypes.
I'm quoting Charlie Kirk and said they were pushing him to quote, leave the pro-Israel
cause.
And he said, quote, I cannot and will not be bullied like this.
Well, he wasn't bullied, he was killed.
And so if you can't move someone one way, I don't know what happened to him.
I would be very surprised if it was Tyler Robinson.
But hey, look, the donors are back in charge in Talking Point USA and back to 100% supporting Israel.
From a group that has USA in its title.
Yeah.
They were pretending to be America first.
But whatever you think happened to Charlie, put that aside, they were paid to be pro-Israel.
Charlie Kirk is telling you that.
He told you that when he was alive.
And now you see another story about how they're paid to be pro-Israel.
And now that Charlie's out of the way, they're back to 100% propaganda for that foreign government.
And guys, if you think it's only TPUSA, you've got a lot of waking up to do.
So many organizations in this country are financed by radical Zionists who want all of them to do propaganda for Israel.
So you think it's a coincidence that all of our politicians and our media weirdly declare,
I am a proud Zionist.
Zionism is Israeli nationalism.
It would be as if all of our politicians came out at once.
We're like, I am a Bolivian nationalist.
I am a Bolivian nationalists.
And then you have these giant media organizations funded $500 million by Bolivia nationalists,
and they all come out and go, we are Bolivian nationalists.
And somebody tells you that's a coincidence.
No, that's not a coincidence.
They are trying to manipulate America, not Jewish people.
Max Blumenthal is Jewish who's reporting on this, okay?
But radical Zionists who want us to serve their beloved Israel has bought off a lot of our
media, a lot of our organizations, a ton of our think tanks, and certainly our government
officials.
And almost all those people in Washington and New York that are in power work for Israel.
They do not work for us, and their job is to deceive you so that you don't mind when Israel
takes hundreds of billions of dollars from us and makes us go into their wars that cost us
American lives and trillions of dollars.
Normally you would deeply object to that unless you had this propaganda that was built
in to manipulate you into supporting a foreign government over your own.
And if you stop supporting them, well,
Well, apparently a left winger comes and kills you because of trans issues.
Maybe we're gonna find out in that trial though.
And I'm very curious how that trial is gonna go.
Yeah.
Because I know someone had motive and it wasn't Tyler Robinson.
Okay, we gotta go and I appreciate you.
I'm gonna come back and rant Rashida Tili versus Anthony Blinken and John Stewart outs to
Democrats.
I love what he did and I'll give you a lot more detail on it.
We'll be right back.
