We'll get to them in just a bit. We also have Tucker Carlson sitting down with NPR to talk about how desperately he would

like to see President Donald Trump removed from office. So he not only said that previously, he is repeating that call. So we'll get to the details on that. He actually disclosed some details about a private conversation he had with Trump. And what Trump said to him is terrifying to say the least. in the show, we'll get into other details of what's going down. I don't even remember because there's so much news to get to, to be honest with you. But in the second hour, Julian Andrioni, who is one of the fantastic on the ground reporters in DC for DropSight News, will be joining me

Now before we get to the UN General Assembly speeches, I actually wanted to start off with the Tucker story just because it kind of gives you a sense of where we're at as a country and where President Donald Trump's head is at when it comes to, I don't know,

human life, including our own. Let's watch. Do I annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly, never giving them a chance to kill and destroy people and countries again. Do I drive them into hell with no chance of survival and no hope of future greatness or generations? He should be removed from office. He should have been removed from office by his own cabinet secretaries the moment he threatened a nuclear attack.

You're talking now about the 25th Amendment where a majority of the cabinet. That's correct. He should have been bundled up and taken out. Here you have a guy threatening to eliminate the human. human race, and that's not considered a crime. It tells you how deranged our moral scale has become. So he should be removed from office for threatening first use nuclear strike. That wasn't the first time Tucker Carlson had uttered those words that he believes that President Donald Trump should be removed from the White House given his statements about using nuclear weapons

against Iran. Now, he sat down with NPR to repeat those statements. which he had made earlier on his own program. But what really stood out to me the most in regard to this interview was what Tucker Carlson disclosed about his conversation with Donald Trump days before the Trump administration decided to go to war against Iran. Now Tucker traveled to the White House in order to sit down with Trump and attempt to do what Charlie Kirk did earlier, which was to persuade Trump not to go to war with Iran. Trump wasn't buying it. And what he said about human life really stood out to me. Take a look at this. But you've quoted him as waving off the wrist by saying it'll all be fine, which could

You all know what he said? Go on. I'll tell you exactly what he said. And I haven't said this, but I'm just going to tell you. Sure. This war is being pushed by Israel with three aims. One, its own regional hegemony, take Iran off the map. They don't have freedom of movement as long as Iran is a regional.

power. Two, diminishing the power of the GCC, the six Gulf states, which are a rival to Israel and are becoming this kind of Switzerland in the Middle East, and that's bad for Israeli interests. And three, getting the U.S. out of the Middle East because we constrain their ambitions, getting our bases out, destroying our bases. Israel wants our bases out of the Middle East. I said this to Trump, to his face in the Oval Office days before the war began. And he looked at me and said, yes, you're right. But in the end, we all die anyway. So it doesn't matter.

That's exactly what he said. In the end, we all die anyway. And I said to him, shocked, but what about our kids and our grandkids and like our country? And he goes, ah, that's that's a verb. I don't know. He didn't respond. That's a verbatim exchange. In the end, we all die anyway.

I might spark a nuclear war, who cares? We're all gonna die anyway. And the cowards in Congress, the members of Trump's administration who are sick of things, of course, who only enable Donald Trump, wouldn't dare to attempt to remove him from office, given the fact that based on what Tucker is saying about their private conversation, He doesn't value our lives at all. We're all going to die anyway. We're all going to die anyway. Who cares? We're talking about a president who oversaw a triple-tap strike on an elementary school in Iran. He obviously, clearly, doesn't value human lives. You know, the guy who succeeded in getting the Supreme Court to reverse reproductive freedoms in this country because he, what, allegedly cares so much about human life, he doesn't care about human life at all.

I wonder how many women he pressured to get abortions. We all know what kind of nasty, raunchy behavior that sick man likes to get involved in as his wife is pregnant at home. But putting that aside, we're all going to die anyway. And the worst part about all of this is he's unhinged. And we're supposed to live in a country that has a government that was intentionally built around this whole concept of checks and balances. But Congress is useless. Useless. Totally useless.

It is shocking to me that like Marjorie Taylor Green has tried to fight more aggressively. Tucker Carlson has tried to fight more aggressively against Donald Trump than sitting Democratic members of Congress. But hey, here we are. We're all going to die anyway. So I just wanted to bring that to everyone's attention. just to give you a sense of how utterly irresponsible and careless this man is when it comes to human lives in general, including the lives of American citizens. We're all going to die anyway. And that's what he told Tucker in the lead-up, just days before he decided to go to war against Iran,

and then on multiple occasions threatened to deploy nuclear weapons. This is the guy who during his UN General Assembly speech had the audacity to, again, both threaten to nuke Iran and literally in the same speech said that Iran can't have nuclear weapons because they're so dangerous. No, no, no, no. Our president is dangerous. Our president. He doesn't care about our lives. He doesn't even care about the absolute pain and suffering of the American people as this insanely stupid war that's being fought at the behest of the Israelis is tanking the global economy. And this is all happening. It's perfect timing, right? This is all happening when our federal debt has led the bond market to reel with incredibly

high yields because investors don't trust us. They don't think we're good for it. They don't think that they're going to get their return on investment when they buy U.S. Treasuries. Over $40 trillion in debt, trillions of that debt was so we can carry out wars on behalf of a foreign country that seeks to build its empire. That's what's going on. And a lot of it, by the way, was allowed, enabled by the Democrats. It's amazing to me, man. The Democrats were willing to go through this like cumbersome process of trying to impeach Donald Trump over his withholding of military aid to Ukraine. This guy is playing with our lives and the Democrats can't be bothered. They can't be bothered.

Because they love the war. Not all of them, but most of them. They love the war. So please tell me again how we supposedly live in a two-party system. There's no cop on the beat. So we find ourselves not knowing what the future is going to look like or whether or not Trump is going to make a decision that could lead to very violent backlash toward our country.

So that's where we're at. I just want to let you guys know, kind of set the tone. of this show today because those words are seared in my mind now. He just really doesn't care about a single person other than himself. Doesn't even care about his own grandkids, really. But think about that. He's just a sick, sick man. Anyway, let's get to the events of the UN General Assembly today.

If there are any other moral cowards who haven't yet left this hall, please do so now. Thank you very much. You count as friends, people like Hassan Piker, who said America deserved 9-11. I speak to you today as the Palestinian people faces one of the most dangerous times of its history. The danger is no longer limited to undermining the two-state solution and preventing the realization of the Palestinian state. It has now come to threaten the very life and existence of the Palestinian people on their homeland. Israel's warlord prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas,

had dueling UN General Assembly speeches today. Now, before we get to Netanyahu's wretchedness, let's actually discuss Abbas, who had to basically provide a pre-recorded speech since the Trump administration yet again denied a visa to Abbas in order to be able to attend in person. Now, Abbas spent a considerable amount of time listing all the different ways in which he danced for the Israelis and conceded to the demands of the West, including reforming their education system to Israel's liking. And he seemed, you know, somewhat surprised and angry, understandably so, that his compliance with the demands of the West and Israel in particular did nothing to hinder the Israeli terrorists who have been raining terrorists. on the Palestinian people in the West Bank. Since October 7th, even before October 7th, obviously, but after October 7th, they really ramped up their violence

against the Palestinian people there, driving them out of their homes, burning them alive as they sleep in their homes in the middle of the night. You get the picture. We've been covering those stories in great detail. Well, here he is, Mahmoud Abbas, describing the brutality of the Israelis that most of our legacy media downplays regularly.

Take a look. In the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, Settler expansion is accelerating. The West Bank is being fragmented, and Jerusalem is being isolated and Judaized. Settler terrorism is escalating under the protection of the occupying forces, while the crimes of land theft, home demolition, checkpoints, and raids continue under a system of laws, measures, and practices. built on racial discrimination, ethnic cleansing, and state terrorism. The danger is no longer limited to undermining the two-state solution and preventing the

realization of the Palestinian state. It has now come to threaten the very life and existence of the Palestinian people on their homeland. Do not allow terrorist gangs protected by the Israeli occupation forces to burn Palestinian homes while their occupants are sleeping inside them. Now, during Netanyahu's speech, he made sure to downplay the terrorists that have been terrorizing the Palestinian people in the West Bank. The West Bank, of course, not led by Hamas. The West Bank was actually, and it continues to be led by Mahmoud Abbas, who plays ball with Israel, who tries to collaborate with Israel, who tries to get Israel to, I don't know, be friends with the Palestinian people. you don't negotiate with terrorists, clearly.

But it is interesting because I want you to compare the two different paths or options for the Palestinian people. So you have the West Bank where they're led by a man who's deferential to the Israelis, does as the Israelis say, caves to their demands. And the Palestinians and the West Bank are terrorized anyway. You go to Gaza where there's more resistance. There's a genocide in Gaza. You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't.

It shows you the very clear intentions of the Israelis. It's very clear. You can't really deny it. Because what did the people in the West Bank do on October 7? They didn't do anything. But they're being terrorized anyway. And then during Netanyahu speech, he has the audacity to bring up some IDF reservist who was run over by a Palestinian yesterday or a few days ago.

He's in critical condition in the hospital. He's a legitimate military target. They're occupying forces on land that they don't belong to. That doesn't belong to them. You don't want to get killed. Get the F out of the land. How about that? I'm supposed to sit here and cry over an IDF reservist.

What are the IDF reservists doing in the West Bank? They're occupying it, number one, and had been occupying it prior to October 7th. By the way, the reservist is the son of the Israeli ambassador to the United States. He has another IDF son who was killed earlier. I don't know the details of that. And I don't really care. So I'm sorry, you don't want your sons to get killed. Then they shouldn't be in the West Bank.

They shouldn't be occupying people. They shouldn't be brutalizing people. And more importantly, they shouldn't be providing protection to the terrorist settlers who are lighting homes on fire and killing innocent people. Okay? Anyway, Abbas also brought up the reality of Trump's Gaza Board of Peace. And I wanted to focus on this a little bit because liberal Zionists, I don't use that phrase often on this show because Zionists or Zionist period to me.

But liberal Zionish try to put a friendly face on their, you know, terroristic supremacy. That is what it is. It's a supremacist ideology. And one of the best examples is actually a man by the name of Joel Rubin. Some of you might be familiar with him because he served as the assistant secretary of state under Obama. So he's a liberal Zionist. And during a recent interview on Pierce Morgan show, he decided to make some racist comments about the Palestinian woman, Nardine or Nardine, who was on the panel. But aside from that, he kept bringing up the Gaza Board of Peace as some sort of gotcha.

I want you to watch that interaction and then we're going to go to Abbas and his accurate comments about the Board of Peace. Take a look. Netanyahu needs to be arrested that there's a warrant for him at the ICC. And yes, I'm disappointed in every single political leader that has not taken action. The United States is not a member of the ICC. So we have no standing to arrest Netanyahu anyways. I think what she's engaging in quite frankly is far, far, far beyond anything we're actually. in our discourse. It's clearly anti-Semitic. You're not calling for peace. You're not calling for

two-state solution. You're not calling for negotiations. You're not demanding that the United States support the board of peace that was created. Are you literally caused me to the target of a firebombing plot? Do you support the board of peace? Do you support the reconstruction of Gaza? So there you have a man who served as Obama's deputy assistant secretary of state, a liberal, okay, for promoting Trump's Gaza Board of Peace, which is what exactly? What is it exactly? Now he sold it to the audience as, oh, it's going to help rebuild Gaza for the Palestinian people. He knows that's not true.

And by the way, don't think I didn't notice the fact that he just immediately landed on the same tired, insanely weak argument, which doesn't engage with the substance. You want to know what that argument is? Oh, you're just anti-Semitic. Okay, wrap it up, home boy. wrap it up. Okay, you need to engage with what she's saying. And he has a difficult time doing that because you can't defend the indefensible. He knows his genocide. He knows his persecution of innocence. And he knows the Gaza Board of Peace is complete and utter BS. So before I fill in the details,

why don't we hear from Abbas and what he had to say about the Gaza Board of Peace? So what is the international community waiting for in order to protect the Palestinian people, ensure their continued presence on their land and the Israeli occupation and implement the two-state solution on the basis of international legitimacy. This solution guarantees peace for all instead of the threat

emanating from Israeli extremism which seeks to expand its colonial project towards establishing the so-called Greater Israel and completely erasing Palestinian presence. We welcomed President Donald Trump's 20-point plan. We also welcomed Security Council Resolution 2803

and the roadmap for implementing the second phase. This was to hold the aggression against our people and their humanitarian suffering and secure the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the Gaza Strip and begin rebuilding the government. Gaza Strip. However, regretfully, we have not seen any of this materialize on the ground.

Agreeing to the demands of the Israelis or the Americans, at this point, I mean, I don't know how much they need to prove it to you, how much more they need to prove it to you. No one involved in the negotiating process was ever serious about a two-state solution. No one ever, and I'm talking about the West in Israel, no one ever had any interest in respecting or taking stock of the humanity of the Palestinian people. Everyone got played. Everyone who believed in the two-state solution, myself included, got played by the Israelis. They never meant it. I mean, they literally assassinated their own prime minister who was trying to secure that deal.

So that's what the Israelis are. How can you trust them? How can you trust the U.S. government? Now, Xi Jinping, the leader of China visited today. And honestly, not much came out of it. We're going to cover it later in the show. But the reason why not much came out of it is like, what do you expect to have? You think any world leader is going to want to make deals with the United States government as it stands today? I wouldn't. Like, what a waste of time. So that's where we are.

When we come back from the break, I want to dive into some of the, moments both surrounding Netanyahu's speech and some moments from his speech. But we got to take a break first. Let's do that. And when we come back, we'll dive into some of Netanyahu's ridiculous shenanigans. Remember section, Ice Draco 7 says, I think Tucker speaking out is important. And a lot of the cult fear him because Tucker has an influence and ear of Republican voters. He was the face of Fox for four years. I'm very grateful that he's speaking out. I know that that's also leading to a lot of hatred toward him from people in the Republican Party, obviously within the administration. I just, this man, I'm not saying that everyone in their 80s,

like doesn't really care about everyone else because they're going to die soon. But people like Trump are a danger to human life. Victor, in our ex community, or watching us on X, says Trump supporters think he cares about them fools. If he loses one of his children before he dies, he won't shed any tears. He didn't even go to his own son's wedding, which by the way, was largely funded by a Russian oligarch. Yeah, no, I agree with you. He won't shed any tears. That's what pathological narcissists are. I know. Can you imagine having him for your father? I just, like I know my dad loves me. I can't imagine having a father like Donald Trump. Can you imagine your own father not coming to your wedding? That's so insane. All right, let's go to Javier

So let's start with how he was received by the good people of New York City. So today was the day that unfortunately the prime minister of Israel, Benjamin Nanyahu, was in the United States to give his UN General Assembly speech. Before we get to his speech, and I'll be honest with you, I can't stand to hear this man's voice, so I don't have too many clips, but I'll summarize the important parts for you. But before he even got to give his speech, he received a pretty warm reception. So here's actress and comedian Hannah Eindbinder getting arrested while being part of a major protest in New York City ahead of Netanyahu's speech.

Take a look. I don't really know what she got arrested for, to be honest with you. I think the only person who deserved to get arrested today was Netanyahu himself. But unfortunately, our government is shameless. And while we speak out against the authoritarianism or the bad acts of other foreign leaders, Putin being one of them, for instance, we'd love to aid and abet the war crimes of Israel, of Netanyahu. So Netanyahu is free to come here while the president of the Palestinians, Mahogu Abbas is denied a visa and has to deliver his pre-recorded speech on tape.

Anyway, so before Netanyahu even landed in the United States, he did issue a threat to the mayor of New York City. Zoran Mamdani, take a look at this. Shame on you, Mr. Mamdani. Shame on you for supporting the Hamas terrorist monsters who butchered our people. Shame on you for inciting riots against New York Jews. I'm coming to the UN. I'm going to tell the truth about our heroic soldiers.

And I'm going to tell the truth about you. So Netanyahu's a foreigner who's running his mouth about one of our elected officials, in this case, the mayor of New York City. And he can take his words and shove it. Who cares what a foreigner, foreign leader has to say about an individual who won an election here in the United States, meaning the people of his city wanted him in that seat, wanted him in charge of the city. But anyway, so honestly, it seems like most of the international community actually sides with Mamdani. Now, why do I believe that? Well, if you can remember last year, as Netanyahu took the podium at the UN General Assembly to give his speech, there were a lot of people, diplomats, ambassadors, you know, delegations from different countries who walked out. And it's amazing to me because while behaving this way on the international stage, he can't maybe look inward a little bit, do a little bit of a self-assessment as to why so many people loathe him and loathe the Israeli government. Iranian delegates left a picture of Qasem Soleimani, the former commander of Iran's Quds force, who was killed, assassinated, actually, in a U.S. drone strike in Baghdad in 2020. during Benjamin Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations. So obviously you don't see anyone from Iran actually sitting there. There's no one from the Iranian delegation sitting there. But they did leave that photo of Qasem Soleimani.

nonetheless, if we're going to have a conversation right now about who was absolutely jovial about 9-11, why don't we revisit Netanyahu's statements? Because he sure was happy. He sure seemed to be celebratory after 9-11, slaughtered 3,000 American citizens and then drove us into wars on Israel's behalf. Yeah, I said it. So Netanyahu told the New York Times that 9-11 was quote, very good for Israel because it will generate immediate sympathy. That's what this disgusting pig was thinking about as our country was reeling from a tragedy like 9-11. He's like, oh, this is great. This is very good for Israel. It's going to generate sympathy for the Israelis. You're going to talk about Hassan statement? Okay. Netanyahu also said that Israel is,

and I'm quoting, benefiting from the attack on the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq. Oh, I know. I know Israel benefited from that. We didn't, but Israel did. But Israel did. Anyway, I can't bear to listen to another second of this demonic man's voice. So instead, let me just summarize other things that he said. He just decided to attack. various countries. Nothing conciliatory, nothing positive, nothing optimistic.

It was all. Hamas is bad. Qatar is bad. Turkey is bad. Everyone's bad. Syria's bad. I know. I know.

All the different countries that you want to, you want the United States to invade on your behalf. So you can take their land. I know. I know. Right.

He talked about his brother getting killed during an IDF mission in Uganda. Don't care. He, you know, like, Of course, he talked about October 7th as justification for all of the treachery that Israel has carried out since. Then he bragged about the beepers because he loves it. He's so proud of the beepers.

He's like, oh, we had the beepers. We killed a bunch of Hezbollah people, but also we maimed and killed innocent civilians with the beeper stunt that we did. He's very proud of that. By the way, they have a hand in the new iPhone that just came out. not going to get it. I would rather not even have a phone than spend a cent on the new iPhone. iPhone is so dumb for allowing the Israelis to get involved in the technological development of this.

And by the way, like, how about you guys make a phone that we can just use for years on end and not have to like upgrade it to like another phone that has nothing of value added to it? But okay, God forbid that happens. We live in a country where anyway, okay, that's totally beside the point. He also claimed that Iran's military capabilities are now non-existent and that the nuclear program has been destroyed. Then why are you so desperate for us to continue sacrificing our service members in that war? I mean, it's the same. Honestly, in that portion of the speech, he sounded a lot like Trump.

You want to know why? Because he feeds Trump the talking points. Trump's his little slave. He talks about how Israel is. the country that's keeping us safe. Right. Okay. I'm sure that's what Israel did when it attacked the USS Liberty or when it detained American citizens in the West Bank who continue to remain detained with absolutely no charges. Oh, what about the terrorists in the West Bank who killed American citizens? Okay, over 10 American citizens since October 7th have been killed by Israelis.

Are they keeping us safe? He said that. the Golan Heights, which actually belongs to Syria, and the West Bank, which belongs to the Palestinians, actually belongs to Israel. And then he also downplayed the settler terrorists by saying, it's only like a handful of teenagers who throw stones. It's not a big deal. Okay, I think they've killed like two or three people. He said that. He is one of the most evil men in existence. And I sure hope that if there isn't justice served in this lifetime, he'll see it for eternity because he deserves it. In the meantime, though, we're just going to have to stomach the fact that our government is in bed with these leeches.

As you can see, Trump was struggling with the noise, whereas Xi Jinping, who I just learned today from Ryan Grimm grew up in a, like a literal cave, he seemed unbothered, totally unbothered. So that whole piece through strength thing that Trump promotes, you got to actually look strong and that rarely happens. Anyway, to make matters worse, Trump had been glazing his Chinese counterpart on social media. Although, let me just say, I don't want to go to war with China. I don't think that's a good idea. So I don't mind that Trump is being overly diplomatic with

Xi Jinping. Because China is not only ascendant, it is a world power. We don't have the capability to beat the Houthis in Yemen. What would make anyone think we'd be able to defend Taiwan from the Chinese. Come on. Come on. But anyway, here's what Trump had written on social media. I met President Xi at the plane airport. Okay, thanks for that clarification. Yesterday, and he looks he looks strong, vibrant and fit. Okay, you don't have to do that. Like, diplomacy is good, but you don't have to comment on how strong and vibrant he looks. Better than ever, Madame she, of course, beautiful President Donald J. Trump. Again, I'll take it. I think that's in my opinion.

I know that there were some Republicans like Senator Kennedy who were like not very happy about this. Laura Lumer, not happy about this, but who cares? I mean, any day that Laura Lumer is not happy is a day that we win in America. But I don't want to go to war with China. So I think this is better than the alternative. Now, according to an anonymous source who spoke to the Wall Street, Trump is doing this flattery or engaging in this flattery for a reason. Now what is that reason?

Trump is offering the same red carpet treatment she gave him in Beijing and May and most of all a senior White House official said wants to impress his Chinese counterpart and keep the relationship steady heading into November's midterm elections. And look, you might think maybe Trump is hoping to get some concessions from China because China is friendly with Iran, still does business with Iran. But on multiple occasions, it's been clear that China is not willing to play ball. They are still willing to conduct trade with Iran, still allow Iran to use its airspace. You get the picture.

Now, today, Trump and Xi Jinping discussed pretty serious topics, including artificial intelligence, or as Trump likes to call it, superintelligence, which is a thing. Superintelligence is a thing that's distinct from regular AI. Let me just give you his statement, then I'll clarify for you. He says a big day with President Xi of China, superintelligence SI will be a big topic of discussion, but I want to leave it exactly where it is. That is China's position also, meaning they don't want to regulate it in any way.

They don't want to hinder its development in any way. Our guardrail is the DOJ, the Department of Justice, which means there are are no guardrails at all, at all, at least under Trump. So look, to clarify, the concept of super intelligence refers to a form of artificial intelligence or an AI model that's actually supposed to be better than humans at performing all tasks. Now there are some who are still skeptical of super intelligence or if it's possible.

I'm not as skeptical these days, especially after that interview we had last week on AI or on the topic of super intelligence. But sadly, what Trump is referring to or alluding to is actually not super intelligence. He just thinks that's, he just thinks that superintelligence like sounds better than artificial intelligence. And he thinks like he's the one who coined it. Like it's so embarrassing. Now, Trump and other Republicans have repeatedly claimed that the US can't afford to slow down to potentially, you know, dangerous AI development. Because if he did, while China would overtake us in that field. Here's more on that. We're also making sure that we lead. So we're leading China in AI by a lot. China has virtually

no controls. It's freewheeling a little bit. So we have to be careful in both ways. We don't want to restrict them. We're all of a sudden we're coming second to China. Whoever wins with AI is going to win. If Congress just races in and does some sort of emergency session to try to regulate AI, We will lose the race to China, and that is a threat to every single American. If we all of a sudden unilaterally limit our ability to iterate and to stay ahead, we're just benefiting China. Now remember, Tucker Carlson disclosed to NPR today, or at least in an interview that was published today, that when he was trying to persuade Trump to avoid going to war with Iran, Trump responded by effectively saying, we're all going to die anyway. So this guy doesn't really care about our future. He doesn't care about protecting human life.

What would make anyone think that he would have any interest or the Republicans in Congress or Congress in general, full of like the oldest people in the country literally, okay? Like what makes you think that they have any interest in regulating a damn thing? The only thing they're interested in is engaging in insider trading and fundraising to get reelected for some unknown reason. I guess so they can continue insider trading. So I don't really have much hope that we will allow these companies to pursue superintelligence with guardrails to keep us safe.

I don't think that's at all on the top of the minds of members of Congress and certainly not the Trump administration. But look, the two nations do have other disagreements that are worth bringing up. So even though the pomp and circumstance might actually deflect from their disagreements, Those disagreements still exist. China remains aligned or allied with Iran and again, will allow Iranian airlines and planes to continue using its airspace. The Trump administration isn't happy about it, but what are you going to do? What are you going to do about it? I mean, depleted munitions, weakened presence on the international stage. Our country is an

embarrassment right now because of our leadership. So what are you going to do about it? And there's still this lingering issue of China's potential aspirations when it comes to Taiwan. And I look, I understand the concern with Taiwan because they're the ones who make the semiconductor ships. But, you know, maybe we, since semiconductor ships are so important, maybe we manufacture stuff here in the United States. I know that's a crazy concept because companies want to exploit cheaper labor, whatever it is. Maybe they don't see enough of a profit in But if that's the case, if we're not seeing innovation, if we're not seeing manufacturing, if we're not seeing that happening here in the United States, because the capitalists don't

think it's going to make them enough profit, maybe in some areas, maybe in some sectors of our economy, we shouldn't leave everything up to the capitalists. You know what I'm saying? I'm not in favor of living in a fully communist or socialist society. But, I mean, how about the government actually work for us for once? And if there is a need in the market and it has to do with our national security, it has to do with something that we desperately need in almost all of our electronic products, maybe that's when the government steps in and works for us instead of working for the capitalist, which is literally all our government does. Business interests, that's all they care about. By the way, is that a right-wing comment to make? I'm just curious for all the people who attack me as a right-winger, which, by the way, I don't think there's anything wrong with being a right-winger. You just have a different ideology.

Anyway, despite all of that, it seemed like both Trump and Xi Jinping were going out of their way to kind of downplay their potential conflicts, which I support it. I will allow it. I think that's better than the alternative. And we already showed you Trump's obvious brown-nosing. So today, she stated that he wants to work together with the U.S. even using. utilizing Trump's infamous catchphrase. Take a look at this. Ladies and gentlemen, dear friends, achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and making America great again can go hand in hand. Let us meet the people's expectation and show our historical initiative. Let us keep advancing the cause of friendship between our two

peoples and work together to build a better world. And both Trump and Xi Jinping talked up their friendship with each other. Look, Trump is unhinged. So the people who were like up in arms about this, like what, what do you want? Do you want to inch closer and closer to another war with China? I don't think so. And honestly, I'm personally not threatened by China. So maybe it would be better to do what we should have done with Iran, which is find ways to collaborate.

And by the way, you know what happens when two countries collaborate with one another? They have a little more influence. We might have a little more influence in a positive way if you engage in soft power as opposed to constant threats of military force. China understands the importance, the significance of soft power with their belt and road initiative. in Africa, for instance. See, that's how we at least used to exert influence on the international stage. And then, you know, USAID got co-opted with all sorts of weird programs that I didn't agree with, but also had programs that were important, and I did agree with.

But we threw the baby out with the bathwater when it came to Elon Musk. So I guess congratulations. Instead of soft power, what are we exerting now? Constant threats of military force. And how is that working out for us? Not so great. Not so great. And by the way, when it comes to China, we're going to need rare earth minerals, right?

And they're the ones who are able to take the raw material and go through the process. It's kind of like refining it. So it's something that we can actually use and something that we actually need. They're the only ones who are able to do that at the moment. So either you play nice or what? What's the other option? You're going to go to war with China for the rare earth minerals? Like I just just think this through. But when it comes to thinking things through, Laura Lumer is not known to really tap into that part of her brain if it even exists.

So she was upset. She says, wow, there was an actual red carpet waiting for Xi Jinping today at Joint Base Andrews. Okay. We use the term red carpet treatment to explain the opulence of an event, but I didn't think there would be a literal red carpet, but there was. By the way, she was also upset that she didn't put his hand over his art during the national anthem. You know that he's the leader of China, right? Like it is not a custom for foreign leaders to put their hand over their chest or their heart during our national. Anyway, okay, whatever, she's a moron.

A pro-public investigation found that a Russian oligarch close to Vladimir Putin spent a lot of money paying for Don Juner's wedding reception. Now, Trump was downplaying it there. He doesn't think it's so much of a big deal. It is a big deal when you're the son of the president of the United States and you are taking money from a foreign oligarch who might, you know, seek to gain influence over your father. So are you selling influence or are you just greedy and don't want to spend the net worth of $300 million to pay for your own damn wedding? Can you imagine? Can you imagine? This is what rich people are like. It's amazing to me. Because I'm not rich. And it's that time of the year where every niece and nephew sends me a request for a donation for their school. And like, I wish I was rich because I want to donate like $500 to every single one of them, but I can't.

Then you have Don Jr., whose net worth is $300 million, and he won't pay for his own freaking wedding reception. You've got to get a Russian oligarch to do it. Okay, so here are the details, as reported by ProPublica last week. And the whole point of the story is now Republican lawmakers are calling for Don Jr. to be subpoenaed over this. We'll get to that in just a minute. But first, here's what we know. Apparently, Don Jr. had this three-day wedding in a Bahamian island that they rented. He got married to Bettina Anderson.

Anyway, they rent out this fancy island in the Bahamas. Anderson said it was everything we dreamed of and more. She said that in a Instagram post. And there is someone you should, you can kind of see him in my sidebar. Well, right there. Yeah, right there, right there. So if you see this guy in the back, that's a guy by the name of Ulmar Kremlin. Yes, his last name is Kremlin, believe it or not.

And he's close to the Kremlin. He's the head of the International Boxing Association, who's also very close to Vladimir Putin. Now, whatever, I don't care. I've got no beef with him. However, he shouldn't be spending hundreds of thousands. of dollars toward Don Jr.'s wedding reception in the Bahamas. I do have a problem with that, and every American should have a problem with that. So how close is Umar Kremlev to Vladimir Putin? Well, he accompanied Putin to China days before Don Jr's wedding. He did attend John Jr.'s

wedding as well, by the way. I mean, it's the least Don Jr. can do, right? Hundreds of thousands of dollars contributing to his wedding. Putin presented him with a state honor known as the order of friendship, and he's even sanctioned by the Ukrainian government due to how close he is with Putin. So he is friends with Putin. So his proximity to Putin, the fact that he is a foreigner providing all this money to the son's president, it's a problem. Kremlin did spend an insane amount of money on Don Jr's wedding, and it was so he could rent out this. private island. He also contributed to a fireworks show. It's so cheesy. And also provided a team of people to help Don Jr. and his now new wife plan the event. So you might be thinking, okay,

this one Russian oligarch provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for Don Jr.'s wedding. They must have had a huge guest list, except they didn't. The guest list included 50 people. Jared Kushner was there, Eric Trump was there, President Donald Trump was not there. Kremlin was there, though. Kremlin was part of a large group whose presence puzzled other attendees. They sometimes stood off by themselves speaking Russian. Okay, well, they're Russian, so I don't have a problem with them speaking Russian. I have a problem with him bankrolling Don Jr.'s wedding, though. Why would Don Jr. accept the foreign cash when again, Forbes recently estimated his net worth to be $300 million. In response to detailed questions, a spokesperson for Trump Jr. Did not dispute the wedding payments from Kremlev. Quote, Umar is a personal friend of Don, he said. The spokesman said that Kremlev is not someone he has a business relationship with and that the men met through a mutual friend.

I'm sure they did in the hunting world and bonded over their love of boxing and the outdoors. But that's not true. it turns out that he only recently met Kremlev. So corrupt. And for a gift this extravagant, obviously he's going to expect something in return. So what is he expecting in return? So I'm speculating at this point, but I think this makes a lot of sense. Kremlin is probably seeking to exert influence over Trump.

Also, here's a little bit of context that might be helpful. In 2023, the International Olympic Committee stripped Kremlin. Kremlev's IBA of its role organizing Olympic boxing. It has cited a host of governance issues and the group's refusal to transparently explain the sources of its financing or to explain its full financial dependency at the time on a single state-owned company. So this deprived Kremlin's organization of its main source of international influence and also the next summer Olympics, as we know, my God, it's going to happen in 2028.

It's coming up so quickly. But anyway, the next summer Olympics will be held here in Los Angeles, which is such a bad decision, but it's going to happen. It is what it is. And once Trump was back in power, Kremlev, I believe, saw an ally in Trump. So after Trump's second inauguration in January of 2025, Kremlin sent an open letter to the president asking him to look into the Olympic committee's actions in advance of the 2028 Los Angeles Games.

quote, we look forward with great optimism to the possibility of working together to make the Olympic movement great again, he wrote. It's hilarious how they pander to Trump and his little sayings. Now he's also trying to expand bare-knuckle boxing into the U.S. market. So we'll see if that happens. But now let's go to the reaction to this reporting because something I didn't expect actually did happen. All of a sudden, you have Republican lawmakers, calling for Don Jr. to be subpoenaed over this. So earlier this week, Senator John Curtis, he's a Republican from Utah,

wrote a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee asking to investigate Don Jr. over his business dealings with Kremlin. Curtis called on the Judiciary Committee to subpoena Trump Jr. As well as another presidential son, Hunter Biden. I mean, just let the Hunter Biden thing go. I know that he's probably doing it so it doesn't appear like it's, you know, he's being a bad guy by attacking or, you know, a Republican president. son, but like the House Oversight Committee under Comer found nothing. Like just Hunter Biden,

like just let him go. And it's not because I like Hunter Biden. I actually think he's pretty scummy, to be honest with you, especially with his little meme coin rollout. But like, just let him go. You guys didn't find anything. Now Hunter Biden over his relationship with foreign interests, including financial benefit, he may have gained. Now, In a surprising move, other Republicans started to join in in support. That includes Senator John Cornyn or Republican from Texas. And partially, Senator Tom Tillis, Tillis says that he has no problem with the committee investigating this after the, this after the midterm elections, I guess.

But he didn't say that he would support a subpoena. Quote, after the election, if everybody's still interested in it, then let's do it. If I were Donald Trump, Jr., I'd be offering this up immediately. Oh, I'm sure, I'm sure you would. Just lay it out there. How on earth did this happen? Because on its face, it looks pretty dumb. If the House flips next year, you know where, you know there's going to be an investigation one way or the other, of course, because that's all Congress is useful for, carrying out these, like, phony hearings and doing phony investigate.

I mean, Democrats will probably do a legitimate investigation to Don Jr. that will lead nowhere. Just keep it and honest with you. But that takes up time that should be used on trying to pass legislation that benefits the American people. And they want nothing more than to have a distraction like an investigation into Republicans, including Don Jr. Now, the chair of the Judiciary Committee, Senator Chuck Grassley, Republican from Iowa, told reporters that he hadn't yet looked into Curtis's proposal here.

But ranking member, Senator Dick Durbin, who is a Democrat, is obviously all in on this. Here's what he says. For the committee to ignore this matter is to run the risk of being complicit in a cover-up. Oh, yeah, I'm sure you're very concerned about cover-ups in Congress. I will join in supporting Senator Curtis's request of the Senate Judiciary Committee. So it's very likely that Don Jr. will be investigated once Democrats, once the midterms are over and Democrats have controlled the House, which is increasingly likely. In fact, there are now some polls showing that there's a pretty good possibility. Democrats might have a majority in the Senate. And Democrats want nothing more than to, again,

spend their time investigating Trump, Trump administration officials, Trump's family. That's what our Congress has turned into. And I don't have a problem with that if they also had interest in passing legislation that, again, benefits our lives. I'm not going to hold my breath on that, though. Hey, Anna, thanks for having me. You know, AOC is still willing to answer your question, so I'll give her credit for that. Even though her answer to one of your previous questions led to a lot of heat, you know, it is what it is. The short-caught question, I assume you're referencing, yeah.

And the military aid to Israel question, yeah. We've had a lot of fun videos. But I love the fact that you're, I mean, you're a young guy, you're in your early 20s, and you are so unafraid. You'll go up to anyone, you'll ask any question. You'll ask the questions that journalists are supposed to ask, journalists used to ask. You know, questions about substance as opposed to nonsense and drama. So I am grateful for you for doing that. Now, before we get to that fun Boston Globe story about the lesbian bar,

let's check in on Donald Trump and the American people. Let's see where he's at and whether or not Republican lawmakers really want anything to do with them, as they seek re-election in the midterms. Republicans are playing defense in red states as voters become tired or are kind of fed up with high prices. It's putting Republican House and Senate seats in contention for the midterms. This comes as President Trump's approval rating is at a new low, 32% approval. Is there time to change the messaging ahead of the midterms and turn things around? Yeah, well, that's not helpful having 32% approval.

tend to in a midterm. The party and power tends to lose seats. So it's an uphill battle. Yeah, he started a war that you pushed for in Iran, you moron. He knows that. He totally knows that. But nonetheless, this is an uphill battle for Trump and the Republicans, putting it mildly. And Trump's approval numbers hit record lows.

And as a result of that, Republican lawmakers are kind of starting to do. distance themselves from Trump as we get closer and closer to the midterms. But honestly, it's unlikely to help them that much. So let's talk about the new lows that Trump finds himself in. Earlier this week, President Trump's approval ratings did drop to a record low of 32 percent. And that's according to the latest Reuters Ipsos poll. Take a look at this graph, which will give you a sense of just how poorly he's doing. Even more damning, Trump's support among his own party members has dropped below 80%. Now 80% is high. Even a little lower than 80% still sounds high. But remember, we're talking about a base of voters that like was

almost 100% in support of Trump. I mean, it was like 98%. And now suddenly you have fewer Republican voters approving of the job that he's doing. And on top of that, it's having some pretty big effects down ballot. So in the same Reuters poll, generic Democratic candidates recorded an eight point advantage over generic Republicans. And that happens to be the largest Democrat lead Reuters has recorded during this term. And so not good news for the Republicans. It's pretty obvious why, in my opinion, these approval numbers are at record lows. The Iran war is deeply unpopular, broadly speaking, but even among Republicans. His reckless tariffs policy has harmed people who would typically vote for him, like farmers and ranchers. He did some other things to

farmers and ranchers that I'm sure they're not happy about, including importing a ton of Argentinian beef that he implemented price controls on. Anyway, also his tax cuts for the rich, the ramifications of that are starting to hit ordinary Americans as we speak, rising inflation, cost of living. You guys get the point. He has not been a good leader for the American people. And the polls reflect this. He's behind in nearly every important metric, even historically strong issues for Republicans like immigration. So he's scoring a 19% on immigration, 32% approval on foreign policy. I can't believe it's even at 32%. That's too high if you ask me. Forty-four percent the economy? Like what? Do you need to pay like $15 a gallon for gas or diesel in order to realize

that this guy's wrecking the economy? And also 57. Oh, it's negative, my bad. Negative 57% on cost of living, negative 45% 44% on the economy, negative 32% on foreign policy and negative 19% on immigration. Sorry about that. So let's take a look at the cost of living poll numbers. And this is from Fox News. It's from earlier this month. I'm going to go ahead and make the bold prediction that the numbers would be even worse today. But from earlier this month, they found that for 90% of voters, gas and grocery prices are either a major or minor problem. So it's a problem for them. 80% say that health care costs are either a major or minor problem. And 77% say that housing costs are either a major or minor problem for them. But of course, Trump refuses to even acknowledge

or validate this reality that people are experiencing. He says that his approval rating in the Republican Party is now 95%. Remember, it's actually below 80%. And he says it's a record. Anyway, as a result of this, you have Representative Byron Donald's, who is running for governor of Florida, basically scrubbing his website of any mention of Trump. Eight mentions of Trump's endorsement on the homepage were removed.

So was a photo of Donald's and his wife posing with Trump and a section titled enact the Trump agenda at the top of his policy priorities. All of that was removed. And he's not the first Republican to do this. At least seven Republican House candidates in battleground races have de-emphasized or removed mentions of Trump and his priorities on their campaign websites ahead of the general election. And that's according to Washington Post analysis. So Julian, you know, it's interesting because Trump had said during his goofy midterm convention that he wants Republican voters to pretend as though he's on the ballot, you know, that'll galvanize them and get them to show up to the polls.

Do you really think that's going to help Republicans who are currently trying to distance themselves from Trump? Probably not. I think I think that they are really screwed right now. the issue is that, you know, in 2024, when he won, the conversation about 2026 was, are the Democrats going to be able to hold the swing states? Now we've gone into all of these Republican states or states that were expected to have a Republican elected being Iowa, Kansas, Florida, even South Carolina, there are polls in Mississippi and Arkansas showing those Senate candidates within single digits, three points. And there's this candidate for Senate running against Tom Cotton, Halley. She's like really popular with farmers down there.

There's Scott Colum, who is like in the police force down there. He's like super back the blue in Mississippi. And so there's these candidates across the board who are creeping up. And the Republicans are the reason why that's important is the Republicans are having to send out all of their resources to states where they weren't ordinarily going to have to spend. Also Nebraska. You know, you saw John Kennedy, the senator from Louisiana. They sent him out as a surrogate, the NRC did this past weekend. He went to Iowa and Nebraska. Crazy.

Campaign. Those are not swing states that were expected to be on the map for Democrats in 2026. I think this actually really proves our theory, though, about why people voted for Trump, his low approval ratings. It wasn't because they were super drawn, I don't think, to the racist rhetoric. I think they liked that he didn't play within the civil discourse and he didn't play within this decorum that goes on in DC. And so some of the racist comments alluded to that,

that he had that characteristic and wasn't going to put up with like the insider Washington inside baseball stuff. But when he went back on the campaign promises that they actually cared about, which was no new wars, which was a strong economy, which was strengthening American manufacturing, lowering prices, lowering gas prices, he went back on all of it. No subservience to corporate donors or no subservience to foreign special interests like Israel. I mean, that's way, out the door. No corruption. Drain the swamp. He's the most corrupt president that in the history of the modern world potentially. I mean, especially in democratic countries. I mean, the crypto coin, the foreign dealings with the UAE and Qatar, his son just got a wedding paid for by a Russian oligarch.

I mean, there's not a country where he's not dealing in corrupt ways right now. And so I think this really proves like his approval is down to 32%. And it's like, yeah, all of the people who thought he was going to follow through on these things like releasing the Epstein files. and stopping all these wars and not definitely not starting a new war, are saying, hold on, we're gonna jump ship. And it only helps that people like Tim Dylan, Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens are breaking the propaganda chamber on the right by using the massive platforms that they have to, in some respects,

tell the truth about what's going on in the administration. Tucker Carlson just came out recently and said that during a conversation that he had with Trump to discourage the war, he told Trump, Israel is trying to push us into this war because they want U.S. bases out of the Gulf so that we can't restrain them. They want, they want to weaken the IRGC in Iran and they want regional hegemony. And Trump said, I know you're right, but at the end of this will all be dead anyways. What? I know, I know. That story, I mean, that disclosure by Tucker Carlson, like, put the fear of God in me because he doesn't, he doesn't care about our lives.

And he doesn't care. Because think about the context in which Tucker Carlson made that statement. He's trying to persuade Trump not to go to war against Iran. And he's also terrified of nuclear war. And here he is saying, we're all going to die anyway. It's, yeah, that's, that was a terrifying realization based on what Tucker says about their conversation. And I think you're absolutely right in regard to, well, actually, you're right about everything you said. Two things that stand out to me. You're right that he, he had a base that was willing to overlook his pretty disgusting and bigoted comments or unhinged comments because they thought, whatever, he's just talking, but like he's saying the right things when it comes to the issues that affect our day to day. Cost of living,

we don't want to start new wars. He reneged on all of that. And the cost of living is higher. higher than it was under Biden at this point, thanks to the war that he started against Iran at Israel's behest. So the other thing is, I totally agree with you, Julian, and people have a hard time understanding. Like, it doesn't mean that you have to co-sign onto everything that Candace says or Tucker says or some Republican who has actually broken from Trump says. But there is obviously, obviously value in these individuals speaking the truth. on how much Trump lied to them, betrayed them, turned their backs on them, because there's some portion of conservative Republican voters who are going to be persuaded by that.

These are influential people. And I see value in that. And for some reason, you're not allowed to give them props for speaking the truth. Even though, by the way, by doing so, they have become targets of hate among a portion of the Republican Party, right? the portion that's still in that cult of Trump. By the argument that is being made by the people who are saying not to take what Tucker and Candace and some of these other right wing voices are saying about Trump in a critical manner

at face value is that they're doing it for cynical purposes. They're trying to distance themselves. They're trying to jump off the ship. The Titanic is sinking and they're trying to save themselves. But they're still, let's just take that at face value and say fine. Maybe they're doing it for cynical purposes. Maybe they don't believe anything they're saying. They actually agree with the war.

They actually agree with not releasing the Epstein files. They actually agree that Charlie Kirk was killed by that guy on the building or whatever. But they're doing it for cynical purposes to endear themselves to a younger base of conservative men who are breaking from the party. It's still valuable to have them saying those things in public to their massive audience because it sways public opinion ahead of midterms like this. And it keeps people who otherwise would have voted for their neocon Republican rep in their district or their neocon Republican senator in their state. either at home or switching to a candidate who more represents the interests of working people in that state. So even if Tandis Owens and Tucker Carlson are doing it for cynical purposes, you still take it in stride because it helps the cause of getting a more representative government by swaying public opinion in your direction.

I don't understand why it has any relevance that they're doing it for cynical purposes. We're not saying we want them to be president in the United States. We're saying that they're messaging on the Iran war, they're messaging on the Epstein files, their messaging on corruption is useful to us because they have credibility with the base of people we're trying to access. 100%. I totally agree with you. Now, other Republicans have broken with Trump on key issues. So for instance, on Monday, and I talked about this a little bit, but just to remind everyone, Republican Senate nominees, who I've got no love for, like Mike Rogers for Michigan, and Ashley Hinson from Iowa called on the president to end the war in Iran. I mean, it is tough out here

for a Republican nominee, right? So they're like, we've got to, let's end at the gas prices. They're unbearable. By Tuesday, Republican gubernatorial candidates, John James, two first names, that's fun, from Michigan and Tom Tiffany, also two first names from Wisconsin. And Ohio Senator John Hustead did the same, right, called for a rapid end to the war against Iran. And on Capitol Hill, Republican senators John Curtis of Utah, John Cornyn of Texas, and Tom Tillis, who's been pretty critical of Trump of North Carolina called for, yeah, North Carolina called for an investigation into Don Jr. as you had alluded to earlier, Don Jr., taking all that money from a Russian oligarch to pay for his wedding, even though, according to Forbes, his net worth is $300 million. I just feel like I have $300 million in the bank. First of all, I never have to work again, you know, just based on putting it in like a freaking interest earning savings account. I'm good for the rest. Like you would probably earn enough interest to pay for your entire wedding on your own.

But like, no, I got to I got to tap the Russian oligarch who seeks to, you know, influence the White House to pay for my wedding. It's ridiculous. It's just greed. I mean, it's just greed. And I also think that, I mean, this is a really important point because I think when Republican lawmakers like Tillis or like Corny or Cassidy break with Trump after they've already had their political future sealed, right? So Tillis decided with the big beautiful bill, he didn't want to vote for that and he knew that meant the end of his political career. So he's decided he's going to retire. Cassidy lost his primary to Julia Letlow, who was more MAGA and got the endorsement. Cornon lost his primary to Ken Paxson, who I guess is more MAGA because he's corrupt or whatever and he lost.

And all of these guys then start voting for war powers resolutions and they start criticizing the president. Everybody in Washington says, what a great thing. Look at how honorable these men are for standing up to the president. I think it's worse. That means that they were operating against their constituents best interests for something that they knew was wrong the entire time. And then when they didn't have any personal interest in the game, they decided to start saying what they actually believed. But all the way up until that point, their constituents were suffering from the policies of the Trump administration that they greenlit because they wanted to save their personal political futures instead of do what they knew in their brains was right as evidenced

by the fact that they're doing it now. I want to go to tinfoil Mama 57 in our super chats because I told Tinfoil Mama, I'm actually on your side. And some people in the audience aren't going to be happy with me for saying this. But this is just where my head is at after. doing this job for nearly 20 years. Quote, I wish y'all would stop making this a left, right thing. Former Trump supporters moving middle are listening to you and you're still making it us versus them. No, I am not.

Anyone who is understanding that this partisan game only seeks to divide Americans who actually want the same things, I'm going to work with you. Like, I don't see it as an us versus them. When it comes to the cult that's still defending Trump, how am I supposed to work with those people. There is no working with them because they've bought into a cult of personality. But for people who understand the current moment we're in, and believe it or not, for the audience watching right now, there's a lot of three-time Trump voters who agree with us on so many things. And I want to welcome them. You get what I'm saying? Like, I don't want to drive them away.

I don't want to point at them and say, you did this. You voted for him. I'm not interested in any of that. I want to bring the country together. So tinfoil mama, I'm on your side. Okay. And I love hearing. For what it's worth, me too. Exactly. Yeah. So if anyone who voted for Trump but has like changed their mind about him, if you're feeling any animus, please don't misinterpret what I'm saying. I want to work together.

We need to. I think we're doomed if we don't, honestly. Anyway, with that in mind, let's take our one and only break in this hour because there's a lot I want to talk about. Peace Dove in our member section says the Clinton sold USA out to China with NAFTA. I think NAFTA is not, so there was a free trade agreement with China. NAFTA is the North American free trade agreement. So that has to do with Mexico and Canada. But point taken, I know what you're talking about. And you're right about that. And corporate, U.S. based corporations screwed over American workers because they wanted to tap into

cheap labor in China. And then those very companies started to whine and cry about how their intellectual property was stolen. Oh, was it? Sorry. Are you enjoying those profits? You enjoy those profits after shafting American workers? Okay, so I'm not really going to cry over your intellectual property getting stolen. You should have understood that risk going into it. But anyway, Kushranata says, China has been known to kill senior business executives for serious cases of corruption.

Like I've said, only money or death will make these CEOs act right. I don't really care what China's up to. They're not a threat to us, really. So if we can find a way to keep diplomacy alive, I'd like that. As long as they're not killing our people, okay? What they do with CEOs and business executives, that's their business. I'm not really interested in learning more about that, to be honest. Let's see what else is going on.

Dirk writes in our member section and says, I'm pretty sure Trump thinks the world will end when he dies. Yeah, because he thinks that he's the only thing that matters on this planet. So I'm not surprised by that at all. Russ Thomas in our member section asks, should Taiwan be admitted to the UN? Will China leave if that happens? I don't know. And I don't really think it matters.

The UN is useless. What is the UN done in the face of literal genocide in Gaza? Like the security council is useless with the veto power the United States has. I think it's important to have an international body like the UN, but what has the UN actually accomplished in recent years, given all of the crimes against humanity that we've all witnessed with our own eyes, heard with our own two ears. Come on. So I don't want to downplay the UN, Julian, but I just, the last three years for me has really taken every blinder off. And so like people think I'm too jaded, especially when I say things like the midterms don't really matter that much.

But that's really how I feel. It's not that I don't want you guys to vote. It's just that I don't want you to think, okay, this is all. we need to do. And then when it comes to these international bodies, they don't really, like, also the I like that the ICC exists, but member nations or states don't have to co-sign. So if they're not signatories, the ICC has no power over them. Yeah, I mean, the United States, like, political class has enveloped itself in this intellectual exercise of how to police the world and how we can control this school yard of like countries that are running around

like kindergartners and like make sure that everyone's acting right and meanwhile the teacher's room that we're sitting in is on fire so I think that it's I think that it would be worthwhile for us to take a moment and stop playing this like chess board game with the rest of the world. Stop worrying about who's going to be in the UN and who isn't. Stop trying to put our thumb on the scale, allow countries to handle their own disputes. And if it gets out of hand, then we can come in and exercise our power for the interests of the global economy and world peace. But we don't need to be going around in every conflict and

telling people what we believe. I think sometimes less is more. And I think that right now, especially, we have a corruption problem in the United States. We have a health care crisis. We have 60% of people living paycheck to paycheck. It's time for us to look inward, take care of our own workers and people and make sure that everyone's all right here because we are the most powerful in the wealthiest country on earth. We have the resources to be able to take care of our own people instead of playing games with other countries people.

And I think that's got to be priority number one. Then we can get to Taiwan and the UN. Yeah, I couldn't agree more. Well, said. Well, let's have a little bit of fun and just weigh in on a story. that everyone seems to be talking about. And honestly, it really does give you a sense of some of the insanity that did reign supreme not too long ago.

Like, this is the type of culture that had real power in this country. Seems like it doesn't have much power anymore. And I'm happy to see that. Hopefully we can prevent it from reemerging in the future. Let's get into it. I want to first start with the biggest story in the entire global media today, which comes to us courtesy of the Boston Globe. This is our top story of today.

Well, a Boston Globe article went mega viral for its in-depth look at a lesbian bar in Massachusetts. I'm telling you, this is in the running for article of the year. It is absolutely incredible. Everyone is talking about this hilarious and kind of tragic story involving a lesbian bar in Massachusetts. Now, its own patrons are now accusing the establishment of facilitating the, genocide. Okay, so a lesbian bar is facilitating genocide. Why? Well, because the bar made its COVID mask mandate optional on Saturdays. So before we get into the details, and you better not share the details, I just want to get your surface level remarks, Julian, as a young guy.

I am praying for all of them. I don't even know what to say. I don't know how an optional mask mandate on a Saturday at a lesbian bar would be facilitating a genocide of what population. I guess people who are immunocompromised, but I guess the way that the world has typically worked is that we feel sorry for people who are immunocompromised because they are exposed to diseases. but we don't alter the conditions around all of us to tend to those people in the same way that, you know, we have things like the ADA to make sure that everything's accessible and people can operate in the world like an equal human being. But the idea that at a nightclub, it would be a genocide to not have a mask mandate in 2026. It's like the only disease in the world that has existed is COVID when it's not.

There are plenty of diseases that existed in the world before that. But I guess the COVID stuff just made people create this portion of their identity that's rooted in like mask supremacy or something. I don't know. There was a time in my life, certainly in the early 2020s where I sadly enabled this kind of culture. And I regretted it, deeply regretted it because when I tried to break out of that prison, I suffered the consequences. But it was worth it. Okay, I'm free now. But you guys will get a sense of what I'm talking about as I give you the details of this story. So the story was originally reported by the Boston Globe, but has since taken the internet by storm.

Everyone's talking about it. It was about a lesbian bar named the last ditch bar, okay, and arts venue in Greenland, Massachusetts. So last month, the bar announced that like, hey, you know, now we're going to be changing our mask rules. previously K-N-95 masks were required at all times. I don't know how you drink a cocktail with an N-95 mask on your face, but okay. The IV. You put an IV in. That's what they do.

Okay. Fun. No, that you have to, because you have to, you got to get loosened up, but you got to keep the thing right here. Go ahead. I would rather do anything else. But per the new rules, patrons would no longer be forced. to wear a mask on Saturday nights only, one night only, one night only.

And it wasn't taken well. People freaked out. So here are some of the comments on an Instagram post sharing the update, the new rules. Quote, just say you're being complicit in a mass disabling event and get it over with. Here's another person. People like you, people like you kill disabled people in the name of your own leisure and convenience. So These people are what you would refer to as narcissists who think that the entire world should be inconvenienced over their perceived issues. And I'm here to tell them to F off. Okay?

All of us have challenges in life. And what people tend to do, good people tend to do, is they go out of their way to avoid inconveniencing a large population of people for their own personal hangups. So like I actually got angry. You're reading these comments, but let me give you more. I hope your venue gets firebombed for robbing my fellow immunocompromise people of their Saturday plans just to scrape extra revenue from ableists and ableists. I mean, yeah.

Wait, sorry. So, so they're upset at the bar for allowing people to be there without a mask because they're saying that might kill immunocompromise people. And their response to that is we need to fire bomb the bar and kill everybody in it. Yep, yep, yeah, yeah. What is that even? That just shows you this is like a total identity crisis, right? Like this is them not knowing who they are and clinging on to external things and trying to internalize them so that they have a sense of self that they can project onto the world and force everybody else to adopt so that they can feel more secure in everybody else's insecurity and discomfort.

It's a ridiculous. It's like totally ridiculous. It's like this hysteria. It has to stop. Well, I mean, I think the good thing about this story that everyone's talking about is everyone's talking about it because everyone finds it absurd. Right. Like, but this, this was our culture not too long ago, guys. Like, I was accused of spurring transgenocide because I didn't want to be called a birthing person.

Like, I don't think people realize our moderators quit in. mass protests and put out a document full of lies about me. Like, it was insane. And of course, I didn't bend because I don't bend to terrorists. Okay, that's not what I do. But like, this type of culture was very real and it was dominant not too long ago. I'm so happy we're moving away from it because these people are absolutely insane. Do you know what a mosh pit is?

Yeah, like when you jump around and that's a nice way of putting it. Mosh pit, like you're literally in a pit of people pushing each other pretty violently and aggressively. And like it's my best friend used to love going in the middle of mosh pits when we'd go to shows. Getting kind of thrown around. It's like being in the tide and the waves, right? Yeah, like she loved it. I don't know how she didn't get banged up. She's even more petite than I am. I didn't get involved in the mosh pit. But can you imagine if I like protested the existence of the wash pit because I'm too frail to be able to withstand the shoving and therefore you're calling for a genocide of petite women.

Like it's just, how about you don't go to the bar? How about you don't go to the bar on the Saturday night? You can go to the bar every other night of the week. Then they wouldn't be able to be the center of attention. So that wouldn't work. We have to go to it. Fair. No, it has to be a new solution because if they didn't go to the bar, then they wouldn't

be there to cause a problem and have all of the eyes on them. So it doesn't work. The Boston Globe notes that while some comments were actually supportive of the new change, others went so far as to accuse the last ditch of instituting a eugenicist policy. The bar opened last year. It was started by three roommates in their 20s. And this is part of their original vision for the venue. No one would be turned away from the space for lack of funds.

poor and unhoused people are welcome in the space. Okay, great. But the idealistic promise made running the bar, I think you can call it difficult, right? A little more difficult than it otherwise would be. So as time passed, a growing number of patrons stated that they were unable to pay the cover fee, because of course they would state that. Even if they were able to pay the cover fee, of course they would state that.

So you need the cover fee. I mean, not necessarily, but I'm getting. guessing it was an important stream of revenue for them to keep the bar going. So by the time the last ditch announced that it would no longer require masks on Saturday nights, the establishment was woefully behind on bills because that's kind of how the real world works. You need to collect revenue in order to pay the bills associated with running the bar. Two of the bars, three owners have since left. Mattelian, the remaining owner, explained her financial difficulties during a zero.

Zoom meeting about the bar's new rules. Quote, I never really wanted to do this. Mattelian says, beginning to cry under her mask. I don't think I'm doing a very good job. Mattelian tells the group her credit score is trashed. For six months, she lived in her truck because she was pouring money into the bar. She is working four different jobs. Oh my God.

She is responsible for paying off a $50,000 loan, the three took out to launch the business. So yeah, comment, please. Sorry, I was just going to say I'm kind of amazed. Like the reason I laugh is I'm kind of amazed that she still put on the mask. Like I think I think this like she cried under the mask on a Zoom meeting. Like I think the amazing thing here and the lesson to take away from this is that you never capitulate and apologize to a rational or bad faith actors. If somebody is accusing you of something ridiculous or something that you didn't do and your you're feeling public pressure, it is best to sit there and continue to operate with the level

of integrity that you did beforehand when you didn't do that thing that they're accusing you of doing. And so you said I'm a young guy, right? I just got out of college. So I think my theory on what's going on here, especially after I heard that they said it was like eugenicists or whatever, these are like young people whose parents put them through college and they were like in these college classrooms and they learned a bunch of terms and history about injustices that were done to other people.

And they didn't know who they were. And so in the process of trying to find their identity, they latched on to external factors that were going on in the current world. And they also latched onto the victimhood of people who suffered actual tragedies in the past and tried to make it their own. And so they're applying all of the terminology they learned in the classroom about genocide and eugenics and all of this stuff to their own lives so that they can feel significant without putting in the work to do something properly significant, like going out and helping people

in the world or making a change or writing something of note, doing art, doing something that contributes to the community around you instead of pumping up your own ego. Purpose. Purpose over a person. Put your purpose over yourself and stop trying to force everybody to be as insignificant or insecure as you are. Just go out and do something great. Everybody has passions, everybody's unique. We're all human beings. These people who are suffering clearly in identity crisis are human beings. There are things that they could do that would be productive in the world. And we need them to be fulfilling those purposes, not to be forcing their like weird dictionary on us and trying to like purity test and shame us for not agreeing with their ridiculous and ludicrous ideas.

You know, that is so well put. And I never really thought about it in that context. But it's true that I think every human being is searching for meaning in their lives. And most people find meaning in either it's a hobby or something they do for a living, but it gives them purpose. This is, by the way, just a quick tangent. It's part of the reason why the whole notion of like, oh, AI is going to be great because everyone's going to lose their jobs. And then you'll get like a UBI check from the government. No, that's not going to be great because some people actually get a lot of purpose from the work they do.

They get a lot of enjoyment and fulfillment from it. And technology could potentially rob them of that. And that's actually pretty depressing. So getting back to the story, though, in response to what Mattelian had said about her financial woes and she's crying under the mask and everything, someone with the alias so noir writes in the Zoom chat, you chose to use your time to spill tears and center your feelings. This is incredibly racist and deflecting behavior. Racist to who? Racist to who?

It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You just use the lingo in order to engage in these authoritarian tactics. And that's the other element to this. So I think you're right about the majority of people who act this way or behave this way. There's also an authoritarian element to it, Julian, that I think people need to accept. It's real. and this is how they can control people, right, by using emotional manipulation and also

smearing them as racist. It's actually, it's reminiscent of what you see from Zionists, right? They use the word anti-Semite to smear people in order to emotionally manipulate them. And it's gross. It's gross behavior. I hate it. Now, when asked to attend the next meeting in person, that commenter wrote this, there's a lot of emotional and feeling. I can't get through this quote. There's a lot of emotional and physical labor. There's no physical labor. Emotional and physical labor that goes into this.

So for you as a white person, okay, so this person's actually racist. Yeah. For you as a white person that asks for me to stay for another meeting for free is incredibly disingenuous and right. No, you're racist actually. You're racist. Because there was nothing this person said that was racist toward black people at all, at all. And you decided to comment on the color of her skin, which is totally irrelevant to this conversation, meaning you're racist.

I don't know who this person is. She went by an alias, but you're a bad person. And I'm sick of this. Yeah. That is the same thing that I was talking about, though. It's just another historical development and term that they learned in a classroom and they are insecure about their intelligence. So as they stepped into the real world, they started calling on everything that they learned in the classroom as like, flash cards and then tried to repurpose all of the history that they learned as their own personal

trauma that's happening in the present. And so they're like, oh, I learned about slavery and people were subjugated and it was horrible. And then we went into Jim Crow and reconstruction and all of this stuff where black people were subjugated. And so if somebody asked me to attend an in-person meeting, that's racist. It's like, no, no, no. The thing that you learned about was racist and horrible. And the thing that is happening now doesn't necessarily equate to that. It actually doesn't at all. You are just experiencing an inconvenience. And you're going to have to deal with that adversity in a way that doesn't deflect or minimize other events that have happened to try to like victimize yourself.

It's a really weird thing to do, like to try to make everyone pity you because somebody like invited you to a meeting. It's like, I just don't even understand where this, this like instinct comes from. It's authoritarian control. That's where the instinct is. That's the impulse. And it's using very real crimes of the past that were committed against a group of people, in this case, black people, the racism committed against them for your own sick, selfish narcissistic purposes.

But guess what? Despite all of this, Mattelian likes to negotiate with terrorists, apparently, because she insists that her critics are acting in good faith, saying, quote, they have passion for the space. No, they don't have passion for the space. They have passion for being able to push you around because you're letting them. So I guess enjoy your debt. I don't know. I don't know what else to say. It's crazy. That is the key, key lesson to take away from this because we've been going back and forth and batting around the absurdity of it and it's fun. But the key lesson here is that there is going to come a time, especially as these people continue to like persist in these echo chambers

and spaces in all of our communities. There is going to come a time in your life, the person watching this, where someone is going to try to misrepresent something you said or did or accuse you of something that you did not do. And you're going to face some public pressure from within your community about it or within your family or your friend group. And you're going to have to decide, do I want to become immediately apologetic and lend credibility and give air to the fake things that that person just came up? Or do I want to continue to be confident in my own integrity, in my recollection of the events that happened, which are rooted in reality and not hypothesis or supposition? And if you do that, people will sense your stability and your conviction,

and they will want to understand why you aren't reacting to the public pressure campaign. Then they will ask you, and you can take a step back and have an empathetic conversation and help them try to understand where they got that misconception, where they went wrong. But if you immediately start apologizing and say, oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I didn't mean to offend you, they're going to say, I knew it he was guilty or I knew it she was guilty. In reality, you were not. You do not need to become overly anxious if somebody accuses you of something. One of our viewers just wrote in and said that, let me, let me read it verbatim because I want to do justice. Julian is cooking so hard. Okay, you are cooking so hard. And you are. It's so true.

Because of the fact that you're so young and you just got out of college, you're giving me a little bit of hope because, you know, many think that this type of culture comes directly out of universities and institutions like that. But no, I think we are past this, but I will ask you one final question. Do you think because of how awful the Trump administration has been that woke will make a comeback? I don't think so because I think some of the people who are disapproving of Trump are not disapproving of him because of his bigotry. I think they're disapproving of him because of his lack of follow through on promises and his dismal economic and foreign policy record. I mean, like he promised to challenge the economic and geopolitical status quo and he has been the strongest reinforcement of it since Reagan. And perhaps even more so now. I mean, I feel like we'll need a little bit of like removal from this period to actually

look at it and evaluate it on the merits to see who's the worst president of all time, Ronald Reagan or Donald Trump. But as it lies, he has been easily the worst for workers, easily the worse for business, easily the worst for the global economy, the domestic economy, and for foreign policy. He's handed over our government to Israel, basically. He's controlled by his donors and he is a microcosm of the corruption that led us to this point throughout the neoliberal order. And so I think that people are starting to realize that, even the people who were kind of appealed

by his humor and lack of decorum, which is something that we all want clearly because we don't want what's going on now where they're like forcing you to wear a mask or else you're like a genocide enabler or something. But I think that people are going to go towards a more populous sentiment rather than like a woke one. Hope so. I really do. And it's not to say that some of the concerns that were uttered by the woke crime.

weren't legitimate, but it just got too extreme and out of control. You know? So it's just the truth. And I'm happy to see the reaction to this story. Everyone seems to be clowning it, including people who were part of that woke crowd who terrorized me for a long time. They're pretending like they weren't part of that. I see you.

I remember the things you said. I remember the things you did. But it's okay. If you've moved past it, I'm willing to accept that and move on. Anyway, let's read a few comments before we wrap things up for the main show. Blooded Ego says they are distancing themselves only to try to get reelected. Don't fall for it. That's in regard to the Republicans who are now distancing themselves from Trump.

Obviously, they're doing it because they want to get reelected. They're total powers and they're pathetic. It's hogwash, says Anna, your show needs a stuffed body and a hammer to slam to get your frustration out. Well, funny enough, I've been lifting lately, mostly to get my frustration out. It's like I need a physical, I need to physically exert myself to get all that. It's poison. I don't want to have it. We'll hit the gym together when I'm back home. Yeah, let's do it. Maybe you'll show me some, like, what do you like to do when you're lifting?

Like, what's your favorite type of weight lifting? I actually haven't been in the weight room in a long time. I've been on the bike, the elliptical. I just got myself one of those drinks, the stationary bike, so a lot more card. But when I was lifting, just, you know, trying to convince myself that it's worthwhile to do squats and then some of the arm stuff, the curls and stuff like that. Just like, you know, you're doing the curls and the arm stuff because you want to look good on your upper half of your body and you're doing the leg stuff so that you don't look like two pencils walking around with that good upper body. So you have to convince yourself to do it, I feel like as a guy. You got you.
