Welcome to TYT. I'm your host Anna Casparian and I am caffeinated yet very sleep deprived.
I was on CNN last night. We're gonna weigh in on that later in the show, probably with jank,
given how loaded the first hour is, but I'm really excited about today's rundown.
We have so many amazing stories to share with you today, beginning with some foreign policy.
Yes, obviously we're gonna give an update on Gaza, but I wanted to talk a little bit about
a little summit that took place or has been taking place in China, and what that means
for us here in the United States in this new multipolar world.
We're also going to give you some updates on the drama unfolding with the Epstein files.
You've got this bipartisan effort to release the Epstein files.
The DOJ pulled a little trick, a little stunt, if you will.
But I mean, the more they try to engage in these stunts, the more it becomes clear to Americans
that there's a cover-up transpiring right before our very eyes.
So we're going to give you updates on that.
the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Galane Maxwell have come out and they're actually taking
some matters into their own hands. One of my favorite stories of the day. Can't wait to share
that with you. And some dirty, dirty trickery when it comes to the New York City mayoral race.
We're going to tell you what kind of schemes the Democrats are up to in an effort to destroy
Mamdani's chances at winning the general election to become the new mayor of New York City.
So stay tuned for that. But as always, just want to encourage you.

on the Habibi House podcast and it was awesome. And I really enjoyed the conversation. It's a
smaller podcast, but go show them some love, go show them some support because I think they're
doing some great work over there. And you can find them on YouTube.
I've also been posting some clips on my personal Instagram page.
So it'll redirect you to the podcast. If you're interested, please check it out if you are
interested. All right, with that in mind, let's get to our first story.
The leaders of Russia and India were having a love in, note the hands, and then a huddle with
their Chinese hosts. President Trump has imposed 50% tariffs on India because it continues
to purchase Russian oil. President Trump's erratic foreign policy.
One minute self-assigned global peacemaker, the next aggressive isolationist, has allowed China to present
itself by contrast as a stable, predictable partner in a multipolar world.
Okay, come on, that video was amazing. And honestly, in a sign of America's waning global dominance,
India will continue buying Russian oil and Trump can't do anything about it.
Even though the president made good on his threat to slap Indian imports to the United States with a massive 50% tariff, India remains defiant.
After all, they've been a major purchaser of Russian oil since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, and Putin just sweetened the deal even more.
And more on that, some few details on that later.
But first, I actually want you to take a little gander at Putin, sharing a tender moment with
India's prime minister, Narendra Modi.
Beautiful.
A guy who poisons his political opponents to death, exploring the gentle palms of the guy
responsible for democratic backsliding and anti-Muslim riots in India.
Isn't it interesting that while we all see diplomacy on full display here, all Trump sees
is a middle finger?
Because that's really what it is.
They're broadcasting a big FU to Donnie.
In fact, Modi affirmed his relationship with Russia at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,
SCEO summit in China on Monday, and the handholding was basically an overt gesture of India's
solidarity with Russia, which of course is a Western adversary.
The Financial Times reports that during a breakaway meeting during the summit, Modi told Putin
that even in the most difficult circumstances, India and Russia have walked together, shoulder
to shoulder. Our close cooperation is important, not just to our two countries, but for global
peace, stability and prosperity. Now, Modi's words of affirmation were rewarded pretty handsomely
by Putin, who offered India additional savings on its already discounted crude oil. The price of
Russian oil has dropped to a discount of three to four dollars per barrel for India for cargos that will
load in late September and October. Pretty sweet. Well, for India, of course. And as you can imagine,
Trump was not pleased. In fact, he expressed that displeasure the only way he knows how in one of
his signature social media rants. So take a look at this. In a truth social post, the president
declared that the United States does very little business with India, but they do a tremendous
amount of business with us. Now, of course, in reality, India is the ninth largest trade partner
to the United States. So what Trump is saying is just not true. To start with last year,
the United States was India's biggest trading partner with bilateral trade worth $190 billion. But
here are the numbers President Trump is upset about. India sells a lot more to America than the other
way around. So last year, the U.S. ran a trade deficit with India of almost $46 billion.
Proof to President Trump, the relationship in his view is unfair.
Okay, look, U.S.-based corporations have been offshoring American jobs to exploit cheap labor abroad
for literally decades. The obvious and inevitable outcome is that we don't make most items that we
need here in America. Sounds like a big factor in this whole trade debt.
deficit thing. Now, is that India's fault? Is India being unfair? Or maybe corporate greed
running the show in America since 1970s is a bigger factor? Anyway, Trump was already annoyed
about the trade deficit, but he really up the ante over this whole India buying Russian oil
thing. Most Indian goods imported into the US face a 50% tariff. The US imposed a 25% import
tax earlier this month because of what the administration sees as an unfair trading relationship
between the two. Now, it's doubled the rate as punishment for buying oil from Russia. India imports
most of its oil last year, almost 40% of its crude from Russia. Well, President Trump is saying
India is helping Russia fund the war in Ukraine earlier this month. He accused it of not caring
how many people in Ukraine are being killed by the Russian war machine?
I just want you to take a moment to think about how oil works on the global stage, basically,
right? You have these OPEC countries, right? These are oil producing countries who produce
oil, which is purchased on the global market. Now, less supply would translate to higher prices
for everybody. So if a massive country with a massive population like China is getting 40% of
its oil from Russia, well, if they're banned from doing so because the United States wants
to bully them from avoiding purchases from Russia, what do you think that does to oil prices
across the globe? Anyway, just something to think about.

Of course it depends on who's playing, but I got that at more.
You're looking at Joe Burrow more or less than two and a half passing touchdowns?
Oh, I love that one.
I'm going to go more on that too.
But your call and you see how super easy this is.

Now, it's unclear how damaging these tariffs will be for India.
But a 50% tariff on Indian imports to the United States could crush small businesses in the United States that rely on Indian-made textiles, precious stones, machinery, and steel.
And I should note that pharmaceuticals and electronics from India are exempt from Trump's trade war.
And as I referenced earlier, Modi made clear that India will keep buying Russia's oil and said so during the SEO summit in China.
Dear Prime Minister, dear friend, Russia and India have maintained special relations for decades, friendly, trusting.
This is the foundation for the development of our relations in the future.
Your Excellency, our special and privileged strategic partnership is representative of the depth and breadth of the relationship.
In the most difficult situations, India and Russia have always joined hands with each other.
Our close cooperation is not only for the people of both countries,
but also for global peace, stability and prosperity.
Back in Beijing, people are anticipating Wednesday's World War II 80th anniversary commemoration
to be characterized as a Chinese and Soviet
rather than an allied victory over Nazi Germany and Japan.
The People's Liberation Army is training for the Perel.
which will feature China's latest military technology,
much of it more advanced than the American equivalent.
As the US absents itself from global leadership
and Europe fails to assert its collective influence,
China is marching ahead,
attracting other countries with technology and wealth
and a sense that it can rethink the past and redefine the future.
Remember when the United States did that kind of stuff anyway,
Look, we should take a little bit of time to just talk about the SEO summit itself,
which is hosted by China and aligns countries that feel increasingly ostracized by the United
States, either due to sanctions, in the case of Russia and Iran, or by Trump's tariffs,
which has impacted pretty much every country we do trade with.
Initially, the SEO emerged as a counter to U.S. influence, specifically in Central Asia,
but later expanded to include several other countries, including India and Pakistan in 2017,
Iran in 2023, and Belarus in 2024.
In addition to SEO member states, the leaders of around a dozen other countries participated in the summit as dialogue partners or guests,
and that includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia.
The size and scope of these anti-U.S. alliances seem to be growing as well. So SEO members now
represent a whopping 43% of the world's population and 23% of the globe's gross domestic product.
So this is really shaping up to be a serious competitive challenge to the West. So much so that
economist and public policy analyst Jeffrey Sachs argues that American global dominance really
isn't what it used to be now that we're living in a multipolar world.
I don't know what's falling faster. Trump, Star, Macron, and Mertz's approval ratings,
or the standing of those countries in the world, or the U.S. economy, or the role of the dollar.
They're all on the way down. This is a failed policy. It makes no sense.
There is no strategy, there is no thought, there is a complete failure to recognize that there's a big world out there and the Western world can't just boss it around.
Trump, who represents these 335 million people or 4.1% of the world population, thinks that he by himself runs the world.
It's all a delusion.
It really is a bit of a delusion.
And what Jeffrey Sachs was referring to when he referenced policy is the 50% tariff on Indian imports to the United States.
Because what that did is essentially push an ally of the United States, India, away from the U.S., away from the West, and into the arms of Russia and even China.
And look, perhaps President Trump does deserve the Nobel Peace Prize because his policies
have led to such resentment toward the U.S. that India has been bonding with its long-time
faux China over it. The Associated Press reports that Modi remarked on steady progress in
improving relations with China after meeting its top diplomat in August and noted, quote,
respect for each other's interests and sensitiveness.
So the two pretty much loat each other.
Let's be clear about that.
They don't agree on anything, except when it comes to Trump and how neither country trusts
the United States.
So China wants to expand its sphere of influence and is in fact taking full advantage
of Trump's penchant for essentially destroying long-term U.S. alliances.
While the White House pulls the trigger on military strikes against supposed Venezuelan
drug cartels in an obvious regime change ploy, China is exercising soft power and building
economic partnerships. As the U.S. funds Israel's genocide, China bankrolls mutually beneficial
infrastructure projects across the globe. But look, don't mistake China flexing its soft power
as weakness. They've also been flaunting their growing military might.
New weapons unveiled like this intercontinental ballistic missile, over 100 aircraft,
and more than 10,000 troops. The huge parade in the heart of Beijing marked President Xi Jinping's
ambition to transform China from one of the world's biggest arms buyers into a maker of
all the weapons it needs for itself, and an increasingly formidable exporter on target to
hit $3.2 billion across dozens of countries. The parade to commemorate 80 years since the end
of World War II, following the surrender of Japan, fits Xi Jinping's modernization push.
For China, this is a question of prestige. Over the last six years, China has made a lot of
inroads in a lot of areas of military technology. And so this parade, it's an opportunity
for China to demonstrate the growing power of its defense industry. China's defense imports
have been steadily dropping reaching its lowest point in the period of 2020 and
2024. At the same time, Beijing has emerged among the world's top five arms sellers.
I mean, look, that's pretty impressive, isn't it? I mean, the world leader who has the physical
aesthetic of a lovable Winnie the Pooh has some pretty big bombs, more advanced than the
United States. And look, China's growing military might certainly mitigates the impact of
US sanctions against countries like Russia and Iran, much to the chagrin of Israel, it's
important to remember that China's rising global influence did not happen overnight, and it didn't
happen alone. Trump's foibles and unforced errors only accelerated this ongoing trend.
And this is not good news for the United States. Rather than flexing soft power, building
alliances, finding ways to cooperate on the international stage, both economically and in other
ways. You know, you have a president at this moment who thinks he could just constantly
use tariffs as a cudgel, either on behalf of U.S. corporations, on behalf of certain goodies
that he personally wants. You know, his tariffs policy initially was sold to the American
people as something that was going to benefit the American people. But that hasn't really
happened. And if anything, it has pushed some of our most important global allies away from
the West. So it's not shaping up to be great. And to be honest with you, everything I've heard
from Trump ever since the relationship with India kind of started to fall apart is that, no,
no, no, the U.S. is good with India. We're good. We're homies. We're best friends. We'll see.
But the fact that India is essentially brushing off the 50% tariffs and continuing to buy Russian oil really does show that U.S. influence has been weakened considerably on the global stage.
All right, we got to take a break. When we come back, we've got two major updates on the Epstein files.
You don't want to miss it, so come right back.
I've got to read some of these super chats and member comments because I think they're on point.
Let's start with 25 karat golden Labubu, who says it's only a matter of time before Bricks,
meaning the Bricks Alliance, that's Brazil, Russia, Iran, China, and I believe South Africa
passes us. We're sick of our imperialism and they're sick of our imperialism and I don't blame them.
Yeah, I think you're right about that. And look, we have to find ways to pursue diplomatic
relations. And I think that the U.S. has been a bully on the international stage for a long time and
has been able to because of our military might. But, you know, there's a new military competitor
in town and China is not messing around. They really, really want to, you know, kind of exploit
this moment to increase their influence on the global stage. And it's working. Rage Rock for now says
mega respect to countries defying Trump. Yep, let's go to our members where Will Sanchez says,
all she needed last night was Charlie Kirk. Oh, I'm sorry, this is not what I meant to read.
There was a comment in our member section that I just lost, but I'll find it and read it during
our next social break. For now, I want to move on to some pretty big updates on the potential
release of the Epstein files. They haven't been released yet, even though the DOJ would like you
to think they've been released. So with that in mind, let's get into it.
There's some very rich and powerful people that need to go to jail.
I think everyone's been frustrated as to why that hasn't happened before.
But it is very much so possibility that Jeffrey Epstein was a intelligence asset working for our adversaries.
But also to, I think the questions that we have is how much did our own government know about it.
Wow, you just heard that.
That was Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, who went further than any other lawmaker on Capitol Hill yesterday.
demonstrating her willingness to suggest that Jeffrey Epstein was possibly working with a foreign intelligence agency.
Now you all know what I think about that. I am inclined to believe it.
However, her comments came on the same day, the House Oversight Committee tried yet again to pull a fast one on the American people by releasing tens of thousands of Epstein-related records, including flight logs and court filings.
which sounds pretty good, right? That's what we want, except that the overwhelming majority
of those documents were already in the public record. Like, do they think we're stupid? Like,
do they think like no one's going to go through the 33,000 documents that they're releasing
and figure out that they had already been released? It's just, it's insane. So here's what
Democratic representative Rokana told MSNBC last week when the DOJ first released the documents
to the committee.
We're up all night, and we now have a fact that only 3% of the documents that were given to us
were new.
97% were already in the public domain.
And less than 1% of the Epstein files have actually been released.
The Epstein files are 300 gigabits.
We know this because that's what the FBI has said.
And they've released less than one gigabit.
So they've released less than 1%.
And of the less than 1% they've released, 97% is still in the public record.
Bottom line, they're still stonewalling and not releasing things.
Okay, so that's what Rokana said last week, right?
The DOJ gave the House Oversight Committee documents that were already in the public record.
And then the House Oversight Committee releases those same documents, which were already in the public record.
So along those same lines, Representative Robert Garcia, ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, said a new disclosure, said in a new disclosure.
In Tuesday's release, I'm sorry, let me read that again.
So Representative Robert Garcia, ranking member of the House Oversight Committee, said a new disclosure in Tuesday's release is less than 1,000 pages from the Customs and Border Protection's log of flight locations of the Epstein plane from 2000 to 2014 and forms consistent with reentry back to the United States.
The 33,000 pages of Epstein documents, James Comer, has decided to release, were already mostly
public information. To the American people, don't let this fool you. Don't worry, I am not fooled.
So why, that's why lawmakers like Rokana and Thomas Massey, so you have a Democrat and a libertarian
who caucuses with the Republicans are holding the DOJ and the Trump administration's feet to the fire.
So here is Massey taking a direct shot at the Trump White House.
I think the best way to clear President Trump's name is to release all the files.
I actually don't think he's done anything criminal.
I think he may be covering for some rich and powerful people that are friends of his.
And in fact, some of those billionaires are running ads against me in Kentucky right now.
One of them is in Epstein's Black Book.
So we're, you know, we're getting close to the center of power here.
And I think, you know, embarrassment is not a reason to conceal all of this stuff.
We've got to get it out in the open, regardless of whose friends might be incriminated.
Look, usually when you see media figures saying laudable things about bipartisanship on Capitol Hill,
it's usually because there's a corporatist Democrat and a corporatist Republican working together to screw you.
This is actually one of the few and rare cases where you have a bipartisan effort to do the right thing.
And I really do love it.
Like it warms my heart, even though it has to do with, you know, these two horrific people, Jeffrey Epstein and Galane Maxwell, who were child predators, did unspeakable disgusting things.
The fact that you have, you know, members of both sides of the political aisle coming together, demanding justice, demanding transparency.
On behalf of the American people is a really, really good thing.
And look, Massey's not just talking the talk, he's also walking the walk.
Earlier on the House floor on Tuesday, Massey formally filed a discharge petition.
Now, what is that?
A procedural tool to bypass GOP leadership and force a vote on a measure to compel
the Justice Department to publicly release the Epstein files.
So Massey and Kana just need at least 218 signatures.
That's half the members of the House in order to force this vote.
And Kana says that he's certain that all 212 Democrats will absolutely sign on,
along with at least six other Republicans.
But Speaker Mike Johnson and other GOP leaders are opposed to the vote.
I wonder why. Why are they opposed to the vote?
They argue that it's not needed because the House Oversight Committee,
which is increasingly appearing to be part of this cover-up, isn't very
He's investigating the matter. Nothing to see here. They're investigating the matter.
Okay, yeah. Now, Donald Trump is doing everything that he can to essentially stand in Massey's
way, including his favorite tactic of public condemnation. Here's a clip from the Oval Office from
just this morning. Thomas Massey, who is sponsoring a discharge position to get the house to vote
in the least of his documents, says he doesn't be here located in these files, but many of your
friends and donors may be, and he says that's why the Justice Department is redacting them
and slow walking.
Are he's the Justice Department protecting any friends or donors, sir?
So this is a Democrat hoax that never ends.
You know, it reminds me a little of the Kennedy situation.
We gave me everything over and over again, more and more and more, and nobody's ever satisfied.
From what I understand, I could check, but from what I understand, thousands of pages of documents have been given.
But it's really a Democrat hoax because they're trying to get people to talk about something that's totally irrelevant to the success that we've had as a nation since I've been president.
Is it a Democrat hoax when you have Republicans wanting the release of the Epstein files?
Is it a Democrat hoax when your base, which of course consists of Republican voters,
patriotic Americans want the release and the transparency of the Epstein files?
I don't know.
Seems like Trump is backed into a corner here.
And it is interesting that he brought up, you know, the Kennedy files in the context of this
weird argument that he's making about how this is just a Democrat hoax.
It's not.
And people deserve justice. Obviously, the victims deserve justice. The American people deserve
transparency. And we absolutely should figure out without a shadow of a doubt whether or not
Jeffrey Epstein was engaged in blackmail operations on behalf of intelligence organizations,
whether it's the CIA, Mossad, or any other intelligence organization. Now, a White House
official also commented on this discharge petition in the House saying that helping Thomas
Massey and liberal Democrats with their attention seeking, while the DOJ is fully supporting a more
comprehensive, really comprehensive file release effort from the oversight committee would be viewed
as a very hostile act to the administration. I really want to know what's in those files.
And more importantly, I want to know what exactly changed with Donald Trump.
where he was willing to push back against certain foreign leaders like, you know, Benjamin Netanyahu.
He was willing to stop going to war with the Houthis, for instance.
He wasn't willing to engage in a hot war with Iran.
And then something happened.
Suddenly he did a 180 and became Netanyahu's bitch.
I want to know why.
Is there something in the Epstein files that's, you know, maybe persuading Donald Trump to act a certain way?
I have no idea, but it sucks to even have these questions at the top of mind, right?
Now, that brings us to an unlikely opponent to Donald Trump, and that opponent happens to be
Marjorie Taylor Green, who continues to surprise me. I got to be honest with you. So the congresswoman
is usually a diehard backer of President Trump's. But today during a press conference where
victims of Epstein spoke out, she took a clear shot at the Trump administration.
This is the most important fight we can wage here in Congress is fighting for innocent people
that never received justice. And the women behind me have never received justice. And do you want to
know why? It's because Jeffrey Epstein somehow was able to walk among the most rich, powerful people
not only in America, but foreign countries.
The truth needs to come out.
And the government holds the truth.
The cases that are sealed hold the truth.
Jeffrey Epstein's estate holds the truth.
The FBI, the DOJ, and the CIA holds the truth.
And the truth, we are demanding come out.
Hell yes.
That was amazing.
And I love the fact that she is willing to fight on behalf of the victims, on behalf of the American people who want to know, despite the fact that it will definitely attract Donald Trump's ire.
That's strength. That's being a leader. And I got to be honest, I didn't expect it for Marjorie Taylor Green. I thought she was always going to be like a lap dog for Donald Trump.
But she has proven herself to be a fighter specifically on this matter. And she deserves respect for that.
Now, our members have a lot to say about this story, including Tugging the Tubin who says
Cash Patel was highlighting some sex trafficking work he did today, which feels like he's laughing
in our faces with the Epstein files or lists still outstanding.
They're doing everything they can to kind of distract or give Americans like some red
meat that might, you know, placate them. But this has been, look, the thing about the Trump
administration. And Trump himself, when it comes to his campaigning, there was a lot of focus on
the deep state. And so there are a lot of theories about how Epstein was working on behalf of the
deep state. So when you renege on promises made, and when it's clear that those promises
are not kept, yeah, that's going to direct a lot of ire toward the Trump administration,
which isn't following through on what was promised, right? And then on top of that, I mean, all we've
seen from the Trump administration is one foible after another after another that makes it
clear that they're covering something up. So even for Americans who didn't think that there
was anything, you know, additionally nefarious about what was going on with Jeffrey Epstein,
you know, outside of him being a disgusting child sex predator, all of a sudden they're like,
wait, it certainly looks like the Trump administration is covering something up. What is going
on here? So Pam Bondi seems to be an idiot. You know, first there was the
little binders stunt that she did with conservative influencers, and then it just got worse from there.
So it is depressing that people like Pam Bondi have worked their way up to the highest echelons
of power here in the U.S. But here we are. I'm just really happy that Americans are waking up
to the lies and they're calling Trump administration officials out for it.
All right. Well, with that in mind, let's move on to the next part of the story,
because I do want to focus on the victims themselves and how they might be taking matters
in their own hands when it comes to the release of the Epstein files.
us Epstein survivors have been discussing creating our own list.
We know the names.
Many of us were abused by them.
Now together as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know.
Who regularly, who are regularly in the Epstein world.
And it will be done by survivors and for survivors.
Someone needs to protect those women.
They need security and they are.
incredibly brave. You just heard from the survivors of the disgusting sex predator,
child sex predator, Jeffrey Epstein, and by the way, Galane Maxwell, who groomed the victims.
And in some cases, even partook, decided to partake in the abuse of these, at the time, girls.
Now, they spoke out during this press conference that was organized by representatives Thomas Massey and Rokana.
And one of the victims who you just saw is Lisa Phillips.
She revealed that in the face of federal government inaction, she and other survivors are compiling their own list of men they were trafficked to.
Which is incredible, which is brave.
I'm so proud of them for being willing to do this because I know how scary something like that could be.
But you'll recall that back in July, the Department of Justice put out a memo claiming that the systemic, I'm sorry, the systematic review revealed no incriminating client list.
There was also no credible evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.
We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.
Now, no one was really buying that, okay?
And I'm glad no one was buying that.
But according to the survivors, you know, this so-called systematic review was total BS.
They don't believe that there was a review or a real investigation into this.
Many of the victims and their family members, in fact, told NBC News that the DOJ never even
bothered to speak with them.
Show of hands.
Did any of you hear from the Justice Department before they released that memo, that two-page
memo earlier the summer? No hands. Were any of you told that Todd Blanche would be speaking
with Gilane Maxwell prior to that interview over the course of two days? No. No. No.
Were any of you told about the prison transfer that Gillian Maxwell? No. Were any of you,
do any of you feel that the DOJ has communicated with you enough this year? No. No. Have any of you
had any communication with the DOJ? No. No. Nobody in this room has heard at all from the
Department of Justice? No. No. No.
That is telling if you're gonna do a review and you're gonna do a thorough investigation,
wouldn't she want to talk to Jeffrey Epstein's victims?
The fact that the DOJ didn't speak to the victims is telling to say the least.
And while there may not be a literal list procured by Jeffrey Epstein of his clients, these
women have made it clear that there were absolutely other co-conspirators who abused them
alongside Jeffrey Epstein and now they're ready to come together to put those names on a list
themselves. So you might be wondering why they haven't come forward with the names of their abusers
already and that question was in fact addressed in the press conference. So let's take a look.
We're reaching out to survivors that are scared to come forward and that also know who they were
traffic too. So that's the list that we're compiling. We're not quite sure, you know, how we're going to release that or even if we're going to, the Department of Justice needs to release the list.
Right. For folks at home, they might be confused. You know, survivors know the names. You've seen these powerful people. Why can't you say the names? Could you just explain? Why do we have to say the names when the government knows the names? And we're also scared to do so. Look what's happened to so many of the survivors that have revealed names.
And look, we've also heard some of the people opposing the release of the file site,
the victims.
They're so concerned about the victims as the main reason for not wanting more information
out there.
But these women have made it clear, as clear as they can make it, by the way, that they do
want transparency and they do want accountability.
Take a look.
And some people I talked to today are not signing a discharge petition because they say you don't want them to.
Do any of the survivors here not want the bill to pass?
I think all of them are on the same page.
They want everything released.
Yes, unequivocally redact personally identifying information and release everything else.
God, I just, I know I've already said it, I'm going to say it again.
I'm really, really proud of these women.
I'm really proud of them.
This is one of the bravest things they could possibly do.
knowing the kind of harassment they might have to deal with, knowing that this is exactly
what Donald Trump does not want, wow, it's just, it's incredible, they're just so strong,
so brave, and they deserve a lot of love and support, and I hope that they feel safe.
I'm worried about that, but you know, let's see how this develops.
Now, while none of the women made any suggestions that Donald Trump was one of their abusers,
one woman by the name of Shantae Davies did reveal something pretty interesting about Jeffrey Epstein's relationship with President Trump.
Let's take a look.
Epstein surrounded himself, I'm sorry, with the most powerful leaders of our country and the world.
He abused not only me, but countless others, and everyone seemed to look away.
The truth is, Epstein had a free pass.
He bragged about his powerful friends, including our current president, Donald Trump.
It was his biggest brag, actually.
Jeffrey and Yelan were always very boastful about their friends.
They're famous or powerful friends.
And his biggest brag forever was that he was very good friends with Donald Trump.
He had an 8x-by-timed-framed picture of him on his desk with the two of them.
Like, they were very close.
Okay.
It's just, you know, when you know the more granular details about what Jeffrey Epstein and Galane Maxwell did,
They would intentionally target girls who came from broken families or were living in poverty.
Like every element of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal is so utterly disgusting.
I really, really hope that these women get the justice that they deserve and that Americans get the transparency they deserve.
And the transparency, of course, that was promised to them by members of the Trump administration who have now fully reneged on that.
promise. Now Davies, by the way, also said that she was taken on a trip to Africa
with Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton. So the plot thickens. And reporters later
asked the women to react to Trump's claims that this whole deal, this whole ordeal
is nothing more than a Democrat Party hoax. Well, here's how one of the survivors
responded to that.
President has said that this Epstein issue is a hoax is the word that he used.
Can we get your reactions to what you think we hear him say that?
President Donald J. Trump, I am a registered Republican, not that that matters because this is not political.
However, I cordially invite you to the Capitol to meet me in person so you can understand this is not a hoax.
We are real human beings. This is real trauma.
These women are real.
We're here in person to say that it's a hoax is just not, please humanize us.
There is no hoax. The abuse was real.
You know, the point that she made there about how this isn't political is a really important
point to just focus on for a minute because I get really irritated whenever I'm talking to
anyone. I'm on a panel or something and a panel member wants to make it about left versus
right, Democrats versus Republicans. It ain't about that. And it's really important.
to take your mind off of this tribal political culture we unfortunately live in and kind
of see this story for what it is. Because the names that have been brought up, the associations
that Jeffrey Epstein has had with powerful people really did go across political lines or went
across the political aisle. So it's not about Democrats are bad, Republicans are bad. And you
guys know where I personally am at when it comes to the two political parties. I think they both
do a poor job in representing the American people. And I'm really not in favor of either party
at this point, right? And once you get yourself out of that mindset and you're able to see
these issues for what they really are, that really opens up opportunities to work with
individuals, regardless of how they identify on the political spectrum, who are like-minded in
wanting to get something done. I think that's why we're seeing this, you know, alliance with
Marjorie Taylor Green, Thomas Massey, and Rokana. You know, you have a wonderful Democrat
like Rokana working with someone like Marjorie Taylor Green who's always been thought of as
one of President Donald Trump's biggest defenders. But in this particular case, she's not
defending Trump. In fact, she's pushing back against Trump, even after the Trump administration
referred to what the house is doing, what these, you know, specific members of Congress are doing
as a hostile act. Now, we'll see how this all develops. I'm looking forward to seeing what
the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein have to say, what they want to release, the names that they're
going to name. And again, I'm really, really proud of what they're doing. I do want to just
take a moment to read a few comments from our members, including one from Boomer Cat Dragon,
who says everyone deserves a chance at redemption, even Marjorie Taylor Green.
Here, here, I agree.
And, you know, I again, disagree with her on pretty much every policy except for this
and her efforts in getting, you know, foreign money out of our politics.
But with that in mind, I mean, what she's doing is also brave because she has the almost
entirety of the Republican Party against her.
She has Trump against her, and she's doing it anyway.
Let's go to Teddy Lucy Linda, who says, where would 47 be, if not for the word hoax?
I know, anything he doesn't like, anything that makes him look bad.
It's just a hoax.
That's all it is, it's just a hoax.
And finally, I'm just going to read one more comment from Cat Lady Man who says, you're so right.
This is extremely brave.
I'm so proud of the survivors.
Absolutely.
I'm proud of them.
I'm really hoping that they have a good group of people supporting them, enveloping them in love.
And we'll see how this all develops.
And we're going to stay on the story.
We'll give you updates as we get them.
And for now, we'll just take a quick break when we come back.
I don't know what I want to cover.
Maybe the conspiring against Mamdani in some of the grossest ways imaginable.
So stick around for the details on that and more.
We'll be right back.
Harkin writes in in our super chats and says, Anna, I'm an atheist, but some of these sick bastards are going to hell.
Yeah, a lot of the stuff that's been going on in our country and around the world, especially
over the last two years, it makes you, I don't know how to explain this, right?
Because I've identified as an atheist for so long, but the evil in the world almost makes
you want to find a source or a place for solace, for comfort, for an ex-exam.
or understanding, and I really, really, really, really want to believe that hell exists.
Because I want to believe that all the people who do terrible things in this world,
who are never brought to justice, will at some point experience justice.
And it gives me comfort thinking about people like Epstein or Benjamin Netanyahu burning in hell.
Just keeping it real.
So anyway, let's move on to our last story before we bring Jank in and talk about,
bunch of other things, including, you know, my exchange with Ben Shapiro on CNN last night.
I want to talk a little bit about what's happening in this New York City mayoral race.
So let's get into it.
An anonymous source who spoke to Politico has indicated that New York City mayor, Eric Adams,
has been offered a job in the Trump administration as long as he drops out of the race for reelection
as New York City mayor, which would have.
course help solidify the percentage of voters that would back Andrew Cuomo.
Because like, let's keep it real. If you're supporting Eric Adams, you're not going to turn
around and support Mamdani, right? The one who's further to the left, you're likely to back
Andrew Cuomo instead. And it looks like this was the plan all along. So again, that would
leave just three candidates, Zoran Mandani, who up until this moment really did seem poised to
win, Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa. Now political reported that Adams' position would be, of course,
in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which, okay, just note to all administrations
in the future, you can appoint people to HUD who aren't black. Like, I feel like there's this weird
trend going on and it's it makes me a little uncomfortable to be honest with you. But look,
that's that's an entirely different tangent. The fact that Democrats are willing to work with
Donald Trump in order to destroy Zoran Mamdani's chances at winning the mayoral race in New York
City tells you everything you need to know about corporate Democrats. This is what corporate Democrats are,
guys. I need you to really take it in. And when I say take it in, I'm not saying take it in, be
upset about it now and then when it comes time to vote, you end up supporting the Democrats
anyway. Yeah, I'm saying it. Okay, Democrats need to learn a lesson. If you're not going to do
right by the American people, if you're going to go against the will of Democratic voters,
there will be consequences. Unless they get that message across, they're never going to change.
So anyway, again, Eric Adams, a Democrat, according to Politico, has been offered a job in the Trump administration,
specifically to get him to drop out of the mayoral race. So a White House official would neither
confirm nor deny that Trump advisors are talking with Adams. Adams did not directly deny meeting
with Trump, probably because he did during his recent jaunt to Florida. And he notably did not give
a definitive no when asked if he plans to drop out of the race for mayor.
Adams and Trump have a history together, as some of you may already know. So the Biden Justice
Department hit Eric Adams with a slew of corruption charges. So Adams went out of his way to
win Trump's favor in order to maybe get a pardon, maybe get the charges dropped if he, you know,
won the presidential election, which of course he did. So the charm offensive absolutely worked. And
the Trump administration has let Adams off the hook. Now in August, Andrew Cuomo reportedly
told donors at a private fundraiser that given a three-way competition between himself,
Sliwa and Mamdani, Trump would intervene to help him out. Are you not proud, Cuomo? Like working
with Daddy Trump in order to increase your chances of winning the mayoral race. I mean,
this is like a disgraced former governor of New York, got a bunch of seniors, kids.
in nursing homes, has a bunch of credible sexual harassment and assault allegations
lodged against him.
And this guy feels entitled to be the leader of New York City.
What a freaking joke.
But anyway, there's more.
I heard Chris Cuomo gets really upset when people attack his brother.
His big brother, his disgusting, entitled, pathetic, you know, politician brother.
Now, Cuomo said, again, this is back in August, I think we can minimize Sliwa's vote because
he'll never be a serious candidate. And Trump himself, as well as top Republicans, will say
the goal is to stop Mamdani, and you'll be wasting your vote on Sliwa. So I feel good about that.
Of course you feel good about that. Now, during a different meeting with New York City business
leaders, Cuomo reportedly stated, quote, I know personally Trump doesn't want to fight with me.
Personally, I don't want to fight with him, right? So I don't think he's going to be eager to
create a conflict with us, because you guys are the same, really. Like when we talk about the
Uniparty, this is a mask off moment, proving that the Uniparty exists. All the theater about how
these guys hate Trump and all MAGA is so terrible, when push comes to shove, it's all theater,
and they will work together to destroy a candidate who, you know, actually wants to offer
something different to constituents, who wants to, you know, stay in the United States, stay in
New York City, and represent what's in the best interests of his constituents, rather than travel
to foreign countries or ingratiate himself with the Israeli government as a mayor, by the way.
Like the fact that all of the mayoral candidates were asked where they would travel for their first, you know, out of country trip after winning the election is pretty pathetic.
It really is.
And the fact that most of them said Israel is even more pathetic.
We're talking about the mayor.
Anyway.
So today the New York Times reported that the Trump administration is also considering a federal position for Sliwa.
Wow, what a surprise.
Apparently, they believe that Cuomo has the best odds of beating Mom Donnie in a one-on-one general election.
So Cuomo is still polling far behind Mom Donnie in the general election, but some survey suggest he could defeat Mom Donnie head to head, thanks to support from Republican and independent voters.
But Trump's intervention in this race could be very risky.
So New York City is deeply democratic, making Trump's brand a political liability for someone like Cuomo, who honestly isn't really that popular to begin with.
And that's what Mamdani is hoping for and capitalizing on.
So here's what he wrote just a few hours ago.
Today's news confirms it, Cuomo is Trump's choice for mayor.
The White House is considering jobs for Adams and Sliwa to clear the field.
New Yorkers are sick of corrupt politics and backroom deals.
No matter who's running, we will deliver a better future on November 4th.
Speaking of which, I want to correct some of my previous statements about Zoran Mamdani,
because he has clarified some of his positions that I was a little bit concerned about,
which by the way, doesn't even matter, I don't live in New York City.
All that matters here is what the people of New York City want in a mayor.
Okay, so let me be clear about that.
But previously I had said that I was like a little bit hesitant about Mamdani's view.
views on policing because he used to be a hardcore defund the police type of person, type of guy.
I also used to preach about how I favored, you know, defund the police type policies.
But obviously I have changed my mind. And in a new New York Times piece, they delve into the
fact that Zoran Mamdani has also changed his mind. He doesn't want to lower the number of
NYPD officers, but he does want to add mental health professionals who would respond
to certain calls, which I think is a really, really good idea.
So I just want to clear the record on that because I don't want anyone to be misinformed
about where he currently stands on that matter.
And honestly, the fact that he is focusing on the cost of living, he has the right priorities.
He wants to stay in New York City and focus on the people of New York.
City. He's the best candidate. I mean, Sliwa's a joke, let's just keep it real. And Andrew Cuomo is an
embarrassment, an embarrassment to New Yorkers. So I don't think that he should, you know, be the next
leader of New York City. But speaking of corrupt politics and backroom deals, Sludge just
reported on who's donating to fix the city, which is the number one pro Andrew Cuomo
super PAC. So last month, donations to fix the city picked up.
With the Super PAC receiving nearly $1.3 million in one week from a trio of repeat donors.
On August 21st, the pack received another $500,000 from billionaire William Lauder,
an heir of the cosmetics company Esté Lauder and its board chair.
So wealthy people want Cuomo, they don't want Mom Donnie.
On August 20th, the pack received another $500,000 from John B,
Hesse, the former chairman and CEO of oil and gas company Hess Corporation, similarly bringing
his total given to $1 million.
And in August, Fix the City received another $100,000 from Walmart heiress, Alice Walton,
a conservative donor.
The month before, it received $300,000 from hedge fund CEO David Rosen of Rubric Capital.
So all you need to do is take a good hard look at who's supporting Andrew Cuomo, what their
priorities are.
And I got news for you, their priorities are not what's in the best interest of ordinary New Yorkers.
So we'll see how this develops, but this is what corporate Democrats do.
They would much rather work with who they consider Satan himself, Donald Trump, then allow
someone to the left of them to win a mayoral race.
And I find that pretty gross.
All right, we'll stick around when we come back.
Jank Yuger joins us.
We're going to get into some of the highlights of my exchange with, you know, Ben Shapiro and others on CNN last night.
And we're also going to give you some updates on Gaza.
We are not going to get off that story because it's an important story to cover.
So we've got details on that and more.
We'll see you in just a few.
Thank you.
