You're listening to the Young Turks, the online news show.
Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars.
You're awesome. Thank you.
All right, welcome to the Republican National Convention Day 4, Jake Eugher, Emma Viglin, Young Turks coverage.
Ready to rock and roll. We've got a lot of speakers. They're all horrific.
We will comment throughout. And obviously at the end,
Donald Trump speaks. And boy, can't wait for that train wreck. It'll be hard to turn
your eyes away though. So Tom Cotton also speaks tonight. Ben Carson does. It looks like
Ben Carson might speak right before Trump. And I'm telling you, all the stuff that I've
seen about this conference, they're apparently also convinced that black voters are going
to decide the election. They stuff more African Americans in this conference convention
than there are African American Republicans, literally, because they brought in a couple of Democrats.
So, and then also Mitch McConnell tonight, Kevin McCarthy, Jeff Van Drew, who used to be a Democrat,
corporate Democrat, Ivanka Trump. He saves, of course, his special favorite child for the
last day, Rudy Giuliani. No, I mean Ivanka, not Rudy Giuliani, although Rudy's also
So a special child in different sorts.
Franklin Graham, he's not the evangelical that's watched while his wife slept with a pool
boy. That's a different one, that's a different one, okay? And then Dana White is with the UFC,
so obviously he's going to speak. So all that. Emma, how are you doing?
Doing good, feeling good. I learned from last night to have coffee tonight because the RNC
was such a snooze fest, specifically Mike Pence's speech. I couldn't get over how uncharismatic
and boring he is. And I said to Anna last night, you could have made that speech in 2012 of the
Republican National Convention. I wouldn't have known the difference. It was so standard,
barely touching on the current realities of the coronavirus pandemic, Black Lives Matter.
The fact that 30 plus million Americans are unemployed, it was this odd focus on killing
Qasem Soleimani and foreign policy and ISIS and jingoism and anti-terror.
That I just, it sounded like a standard Republican speech from another era and didn't seem
to connect.
And it doesn't help.
He's the most robotic, boring dude alive.
Yeah, 100%.
Well, look, that's the thing.
I mean, with the Republicans, sometimes you get incredibly boring and sometimes you get, whoa,
What the hell did they just say?
Right?
So I have a lot to say about the Democratic convention too.
Obviously look, this is supposed to start at 830.
The minute there's anything interesting, we'll show it to you guys.
We'll pop it up on the screen.
I won't go back and forth is if you watch any of the DNC or RNC coverage we did.
That's how we do it all throughout the day.
We'll comment as soon as we can on all the speeches and then at the end, give you
a summary obviously of the whole event.
Now you're wondering, hey, Cenk, what's that red shirt you're wearing?
I don't often see you with a red shirt, or that's Franklin Graham.
Oh, it's a mystery.
Okay, we'll find out after Franklin Graham.
We are forever grateful.
As we come tonight, our country is facing trouble.
Tens of thousands are in the path of a deadly storm.
The pandemic has gripped millions of hearts with fear.
We're divided.
We have witnessed injustice.
Anger and despair have flowed into the streets.
We need your help.
We need to hear your voice at this crucial hour.
We ask that you would unite our hearts to be one nation under God, for you are our only hope.
We declare today our total dependence upon you and our need of repentance as a people.
I thank you tonight for our President Donald J. Trump.
We pray that you would give him wisdom from on high, clarity of vision, and strength as he leads this nation forward.
Bless him. We pray for our First Lady, Melania, their son Baron, and all of the family. Protect them and keep them strong and safe.
We thank you for Vice President Mike Pence, for his steady hand and clear voice. We pray for Second Lady Karen Pence and their family.
Father, we know that you can make this nation great once again. If we turn our eyes and our hearts.
hearts to you and follow your word and obedience. May your will be done on this earth as it is at
heaven. And we pray this in the mighty name of your son, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic.
Did the young church just turn away from the Pledge of Allegiance with two super cute kids?
Yes, we did. Okay, so Franklin Graham, first of all, he sounds like a Muslim Imam.
I'll explain why in a second. But I've got to comment on these things first. We have total dependence
on you, O Lord. I wouldn't go with total. I'd leave a little bit to the scientists and the doctors,
Because total dependence on the Lord has not really worked that great for us during the pandemic.
I'm keeping it real. Democrats, well, no, don't say that. We'll lose a religious vote.
All right, anyway, he said, we thank you for Donald Trump. Man, that is a wicked lord. If he sent
us the plague of Donald Trump, I'm not exactly thanking him for it. I mean, I don't know if it's
like some sort of omen of the apocalypse and they're thanking him for in that twisted way. But, okay,
That's not the Lord I pray too. Well, I don't pray to any Lord, let's keep it real. All right,
anyway, and then he said, and thank you for giving Donald Trump wisdom. Did he?
Okay, man, I thought God was supposed to be omnipotent because this, I mean, if anything
is going to make me lose faith in God, it's if I'm convinced that he gave Trump wisdom. That
dude is like three cells away from, or three IQ points away from being locked up in an
institution if that's all God's got. We gotta put your back into it, big guy. And he sounded
Muslim because he's like, your will is the only thing that could be done. Us humans, we're
nothing. I mean, that's how a lot of imams are in Islam. Islam in Arabic means submission. We submit
to the will of God. Us poor little humans can't do anything. That's why the president decided
to do nothing during the pandemic. Well, I don't know how good or bad we are, but I say let's give it a shot.
Sounds like Trump wants to implement Sharia law. That's really what I'm taking thus far from
the convention. Tucker Carlson had a guest on about three weeks ago who talked about how, because
Joe Biden said that we should teach more about Islam in schools, that Joe Biden is in favor of
implementing Sharia law, which is, by the way, redundant because Sharia, I believe, means law.
So Sharia, if he were to be president, which to me, it's just amusing to me, why did they try
to make these huge leaps in terms of attacking Joe Biden when there's just so much material
readily available that he's a socialist or that he's going to implement Sharia law?
Guys, come on. I mean, I know that this appeals to the 25%, the Fox News base that will literally believe
anything bad about Biden or the Democrats. But can you just attach it a little bit more to reality?
Why Trump's messaging was so effective in 2016 was because Hillary was a part of the swamp. So
Drain the Swamp was effective, talking about corruption, talking about how she was crooked,
crooked Hillary over and over again. That's because it was based in the kernel of truth.
Biden being beholden to AOC and implementing Sharia law, not so much.
Emma, I don't know what you're talking about. I told the other night, I told the members two stories
about the two different times that I met Joe Biden in real life in person.
And so by the way, become a member, check to get those stories.

Anyways, he's a, he's a very close talker. And so he leaned into me once and he said,
I shah, Allah, Allah, Joe bind the Imam.
It's more than your imam.
Okay, here we go again. Okay, they found every African American. It's ridiculous. It's, it's,
they talk about identity politics on the left. They talk about it, we do it too. I mean,
the left does it too. Democrats do it too, but my God, are they brazen in there.
Yeah, if you watch the Republican convention, do you think half the Republican Party was black?
Yeah, sorry. Let's just listen to it for a minute.
of people who don't look like me.
They never seem to show people like my mom
who worked two jobs as a gas station clerk
and a mom.
She showed me how to persevere.
They never seem to show people like my dad
who plowed snow in the winter
and paved streets in the summer,
who stood by me through thick and thin
and taught me strong values every day.
They never seemed to show people like me.
At first, I didn't live the values my parents taught me.
I won a starting spot on the varsity football team, but I only had a 1.9 GPA.
But then I broke my leg.
It took a broken leg for me to really get moving in life.
I prioritized schoolwork, went to Howard, and ended up working for the president of the United States.
Growing up, I'd never really known a Republican.
I believed all the stereotypes.
It took a meeting Republicans who shared my values to show me I was wrong.
Donald Trump knows that in the work of revitalizing communities,
America's strength
is America's people
and I can tell you
he really cares
and he takes action
every issue
important to black communities
has been a priority
for him
prison reform
rebuilding broken families
bringing jobs back to America
jobs in Cleveland
jobs in Detroit, jobs in Milwaukee.
President Trump knows that education is the great equalizer.
That's why he secured record and permanent funding for historically black colleges and universities,
and is fighting hard for school choice.
In the wake of the murder of Ahmad Aubrey, George Floyd,
in legend Tala Faro,
a moment of national racial consciousness.
I have seen his true conscience.
I just wish everyone to see the deep empathy
he shows to families whose loved ones
were killed in senseless violence.
President Trump has made it clear
that if you want,
But safe communities, you must have police departments with the highest standards.
I'll never forget Strand Hill Road or the people of Cleveland.
They're tough, smart, and tell it like it is.
That's President Trump.
For a New Yorker, he's got a lot of Cleveland heart.
And I'm proud to say that he's my president.
President, God bless America.
People assume that if I'm not a Democrat.
Okay, yeah, if I thought he was Floridian now.
He said for a New Yorker, he's got a lot of Cleveland heart.
I am pretty sure he's doing mail-in voting from Florida.
Anyways, okay Emma, you wanted to say something.
Well, it just goes on the theme of last night as well.
They're trying to portray Donald Trump as empathetic, that has clearly been a push throughout
the RNC.
They must have some polling that indicates, because he's not empathetic at all, that that's
a weak spot for him.
Guys, why are we trying this?
have two eyes and two ears and understand what is right in front of them. He was elected
precisely because he wasn't an empathetic person. He was a brick thrower, he was aggressive,
he was gonna do whatever needed to be done, make a deal, whatever. I mean, obviously none
of those things panned out, but it's such a fool's errand, I think, to try to say, I wish you
could have seen the empathy he showed to X, Y, and Z, the families of this. We know that that's
that's not true. It's the same thing with trying to portray Biden as a socialist or beholden
to Sharia law. Everyone knows this isn't true. So I don't like these pushes that are clearly
designed based on polling that don't pass the smell test. It's just a waste of everybody's time.
Well, Emma, I'm glad you're saying that because it gives him more faith that the Republicans
are also screwing up their convention. And I think you're right. It's a lot of misdirected energy.
Even the Trump voters don't think he's more empathetic.
And they're running against a guy who seems to be the most empathetic candidate we've had in a long time.
I'm not saying that he actually is.
That is the rational way to look at empathy is through policy, and Biden hasn't been great on that.
But in terms of the optics of empathy, you're never going to out empathy Biden.
If you're getting into an empathy contest, great, because you will definitely lose that one.
I mean, even the deplorables, or especially the deplorables, they hate empathy.
They love crushing the other guy, they don't want Trump to be empathetic.
And when these guys are like, oh my God, when he talks to people, he cares so much about their
families, no one believes that.
It's not one person in America believes that.
It's, anyway, so the Democrats, I think, blew it, will hold in their convention.
I want to go back and talk about that more, but I promise you guys to show you what this was about.
Get a load of this new shirt we got.
Person, woman, man, camera, TV.
And the TV's got TYT in there and hashtag cognitively there.
Okay, so you can get this at shopTy.com and boy do I have good news for you.
20% off site wide. Okay, right now it's actually for the next couple of days.
And then as usual, we sell out, we close everything down, you're screwed, it's time to panic.
ShopTyT.com, 20% off.
Okay, now speaking of things that make this show possible, let me read your names real quick.
These are people who just signed up as YouTube channel members.
CC-477, Tiger.
Oh, no, let's listen to Benedict Arnold.
And then this is the guy who used to be a corporate Democrat, is now a corporate Republican.
Big change.
Changed nothing, none of his policies.
Let's listen.
Neighbors and care about our communities.
Years ago, I was a local dentist and was asked by the Democrats to run.
for a town council seat.
I had my doubts and I explained that my views were middle of the road to conservative,
but the local leaders said the Democratic Party was a big tent
and that they accepted people like me.
I was elected to counsel as a Democrat.
But as I won seats for county office, state legislature,
and then Congress, I noticed things were changing.
The Democratic Party had become less accepting of,
American tradition, less believing in American exceptionalism, less supportive of traditional
faith and family. This was not the party that I knew. In 2018, after being elected to Congress
as a Democrat, I was already uncomfortable with a San Francisco liberal running the House,
which is why my first vote in Congress was cast against Nancy Pelosi for Speaker. But imagine how I felt
after seeing members of the squad quickly take control of the Democratic Party just weeks after
being elected. The party had moved from liberal to radical. This new Democratic Party wasn't just for
higher taxes. Now they were four open borders against our police and against our God-given rights.
When the radical Democrats went after President Trump with impeachment, they made another
mistake. Democratic leaders told me that I had to vote for impeachment or my life would be made
difficult and I wouldn't be allowed to run again. Listen, I'm from South Jersey and you'd better come
at me with more than just loud words and empty threats. I voted no on impeachment and it was an easy
call. Soon after, I met with President Trump, and he made me feel more comfortable and welcome
in the Oval Office than Nancy Pelosi ever made me feel in her caucus. And a few days later,
I officially changed parties, and I became a Republican. Let me tell you about Joe Biden.
When the Democrats tried to order me around, I was ready, willing, and able to say,
I've had enough with their radical socialist agenda.
Do you really believe Joe Biden is ready, willing,
and most of all, able to do the same?
As Joe says, come on, man.
Joe Biden is being told what to do
by the radicals running my former party,
the same radicals trying to install him as their puppet president.
When I'm at my local diner,
I tell people that America is the best,
nation in the world, and that President Trump has helped make it that way. Republicans,
independence, and even Democrats, they all know that in President Trump's America, we have
a strong military, strong support for our police, strong support for our veterans, and strong
support for our seniors. In President Trump's America, we have a strong supply chain, good
schools. We're energy independent, and we protect our environment.
There are a lot of Democrats who support our president and are disgusted for what their old party, what my old party has become.
Here's my advice.
Be true to who you are now, not who the Democrats used to be.
That's why I'm a proud Republican and why I will be voting for Donald Trump.
Thank you.
And may God bless you.
God bless our president, and God bless the United States of America.
For me, the most important issue is jobs.
We need to be able to pay our bills.
I trust Donald Trump on jobs.
Okay, yeah.
So I don't, I'm not sure I know anyone in Congress more despicable than Jeff
Andrew.
I guess Mitch McConnell and Izzy Graham.
Ted Cruz fine, okay, but he might make the final four. So, and I don't know who I despise
more, Jeff Andrew for now going and licking Donald Trump's boots after pretending to be a Democrat,
or the Democratic Party who opened him with welcome arms as he voted the same way while
he was a Democrat and then said, hey, to progressives, don't challenge Jeff Van Drew. He's such a
good Democrat, and we like him licking Donald Trump's boots as long as he calls
himself a Democrat, or the media for not noticing anything about politics.
I mean, when he just called Joe Biden, he said he's not going to be able to resist the
radical socialist agenda of the Democratic Party.
I mean, it's preposterous in every way.
And what did the media tell you?
They lied to you all throughout the primary.
Say, oh, you just picked Joe Biden, they won't call him a socialist.
If you can pick Bernie, they'll call him a socialist.
And the only thing that matters is what Republicans call people.
And so just don't, whatever you do, don't pick Bernie, because they'll call him a socialist.
And what did they do?
Now they're calling Biden a socialist.
Every speaker is calling Biden a socialist.
I'm not gonna listen to any more people.
We don't need this speech.
It's there all the same thing.
Donald Trump is so empathetic.
Oh my God, he loves black people so much.
And by the way, Donald Trump did increase funding to historically black colleges and universities.
And so I always give credit where credit is due.
He has never once talked about it publicly.
He's never emphasized it, never gone on a Twitter storm about it.
We never heard about it until the convention and all of a sudden they need black votes.
They throw up 28 black speakers, like literally more black people than they have in their own
party. They bring in a couple of Democrats as well. And they're like, oh my God, do you know
about historically black colleges and universities? And how much Donald Trump, oh, shut up.
Like, no, you never keep, you might have cared about that, but Trump didn't even know,
he probably didn't even know he did it. It's like when he did criminal justice reform,
he yelled at Kushner later. He's like, it's not working with my base. They don't like,
when I help black people. Why did we do that? No, no, no, that was a mistake. Okay, so keep it,
none of those guys keep it real. Back to Jeff Andrew. So he says, oh, Nancy Pelosi is the San Francisco
liberal. I only wish. Then he says, oh, you know, if the San Francisco liberal was bad
enough, but then this, within weeks, the squad took control of the party. That would be
awesome. How did I miss the memo? We've been trying to dig over the party for a long time.
Turns out we did it within a couple weeks and I didn't even know.
Oh, man, hey, congrats everybody. I'm Medicare for all. You're all covered now. You don't have
to worry in the middle of a pandemic. We have hell universal health care for everyone,
because apparently the squad took over. Green New Deal is already done. Don't worry,
we saved the planet. None of it is true. He's an unbelievable liar.
Every Republican is an unbelievable liar. There is no such thing as a moderate
Republican. There is no such thing as an honest Republican. It just doesn't exist. He said,
And now the squad and these radical socials are trying to take away your God-given rights.
Really? Name one. Name one. God-given rights?
Which part of the Ten Commandments are we taking away? What are you talking about?
I know what you know what he's talking about, right?
Freedom of speech, man. Donald Trump should be allowed to block people on Twitter.
And we should be able to make sure we put people in prison and end their contracts,
etc. If they ever say anything against Israel, we should be able to run them over with our cars
of their protesting oil pipelines, freedom of speech sucks when it's for liberals and black people.
Oh, but for us, freedom of speech to say racist things. That's the rights that they think are
under attack. And of course, the Second Amendment. Oh, and now they're gonna take away rights
of poor right wing militia to go in the middle of a protest and murder people. I mean,
Tucker Carlson's all bent out of shape and apparently so is Jeff Andrew about that. And then he says,
oh, trust me, I'm a tough guy from South Jersey, he said. He alluded to him being tough. Dude, you got a
kerchief on. I grew up in Jersey. There's nobody who walks into a diner, as he said,
in South Jersey, talking BS politics with a kerchief on and telling us how, you know,
tough he is. Get out of here. You look like the least tough guy on the planet. And every other part
of it was nothing but lies. Let's listen to more lies from Dan Skavino. By the way, who used
to be Donald Trump's caddy. That's how he got the job.
President Trump's side for almost 30 years.
All these years later, there's a part of me that still feels a sense of wonder every day
when I consider the journey we have taken together and taken with so many of you watching
tonight.
Because my personal story with Donald Trump, in so many ways, is yours too.
He saw a potential in me, a spark, the possibility that I could be more, do more, and achieve
more than even I thought was possible.
That's how he views this country, too.
We have all just scratched the surface of what we can do together.
If there's one thing I hope you will hear from me tonight, it is this.
President Trump is a kind and decent man.
I wish you could be at his side with me to see his endless kindness to everyone he meets.
The media could be a fog machine, creating a partisan mist.
around everything that's hard to see through.
But in 2016, you navigated through it all.
You found your way through the swamp,
and you arrive safely on the other side,
with Donald J. Trump as your new president.
There are some things that were true then,
reasons why you choose him as your country's leader,
that remain true today.
You know, the president cannot be bought.
The American people must know their president isn't building his life.
He's building yours.
He knows the president cannot be bullied.
President Trump is the first leader who's been too strong, too tough, and too savvy to be crushed by the status quo establishment and the political media class.
You know the president cannot be beaten.
He's got a fighting spirit.
like so many of you do.
And winning for America is what he does.
While they call it chaos, President Trump calls it change.
Just think about what we achieve together with President Trump.
The strongest economy in history, the lowest unemployment rate for almost all demographic groups.
Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, women, and so many more.
He did that once, and he will do it again.
You know it, and I know it.
We all just need somebody to believe in our capacity to do great things.
Donald Trump believed in me when I was a teenage golf caddy,
and he was already one of the wealthiest, most famous people on the entire planet.
He saw my potential, even when I couldn't.
He sees greatness in our country too, and in each of you.
He believes the world you dream about at night can be yours.
He truly is a man of the people.
Just think about what he has done with this convention.
You've heard from real Americans with real stories.
People who are just like us, people whose lives have been forever impacted by the president
and his policies.
You've heard from people like John Peterson,
who has a factory in Ohio.
Tanya Wine Rice, who has a small business in Montana.
Jason Joyce, a fisherman from Maine.
And Chris Peterson, a dairy farmer from Wisconsin.
You've seen a man who turned his life around
get a second chance with a presidential pardon.
You've seen brand new Americans become our fellow citizens
in a ceremony at the White House.
you felt the passion of pro-life and religious freedom advocates
and listen to the heartfelt words of a man whose family fled communism and oppression
who needs a non-stop parade of politicians
when you got an army of the people behind you
on November 3rd vote for the man who believes in America
and believes in you
vote for my friend
your friend
our friend
Donald J. Trump
thank you
and God bless the United States
of America
Good evening
it's an honor to come before you tonight
from the Commonwealth of Kentucky
as the only leader in Washington
and not from either New York or California
I consider it my responsibility
to look out for middle America.
This election is incredibly consequential for middle America.
President Trump knows he inherited the first generation of Americans
who couldn't promise their children a better life than their own.
He's made it his mission of this administration to change that.
I know because I work beside him every day.
Today's Democrat Party doesn't want to improve life from middle America.
They prefer that all of us in flower over country, keep quiet and let them decide how we should live our lives.
They want to tell you when you can go to work, when your kids can go to school, they want to tax your job out of existence, and then send you a government check for unemployment.
They want to tell you what kind of car you can drive, what sources of information are credible, and even how many hamburgers you can eat.
They want to defund the police and take away your Second Amendment rights.
They want free health care for illegal immigrants, yet they offer no protection at all for unborn Americans.
They want to pack the Supreme Court with liberals intent on eroding our constitutional rights.
And they want to codify all this by making the swamp itself, Washington, D.C., America's 51st state.
With two more liberal senators, we cannot undo the damage they've done.
Now you understand why Democrats spent an entire week telling us about who Joe Biden is,
not what he intends to do.
I'm immensely proud of the work the Republican Senate has done.
We are the firewall against Nancy Pelosi's agenda.
Like President Trump, we won't be bullied by a liberal media intent on destroying America's institutions.
We will stand our post on behalf of the millions of Americans whose stories
aren't told in today's newspapers.
Whose struggles are just as real.
We'll continue to support American families
as we defeat the coronavirus
and return our economy to the envy of the world.
The stakes have never been higher,
which is why I'm asking you
to support Republican Senate candidates across the country
and reelect my friend, President Donald Trump.
So all of these titans of American sport know that many of life's most valuable lessons
are learned on the field of competition and the ability to- Okay, a couple of things. First,
they're doing a video here, celebrating the American athlete. That doesn't make any sense.
Donald Trump just went after the NBA. A week before that, he went after the NFL.
There's almost no sport he hasn't gone after. And he, most of all, he goes after golf
by going and playing golf nonstop.
So, and the only other sport that he's now kind of commended is hockey.
Gee, I wonder why he picked hockey of all the sports.
Could it be that it's because hockey's the whitest sport?
No, probably not.
Maybe because it's the most Canadian and you know how much he loves Canada.
All right.
So Mitch McConnell said, I come to you from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
And that actually is part of the story there.
McConnell, even McConnell wouldn't come to the convention.
So he's like, okay, I'll do a video from Kentucky to try to get you to vote for Republican
senators.
Man, if McConnell's tiptoeing out of the room, you're in trouble.
So I think that was probably telling.
I'm too exhausted to break down every lie of Mitch McConnell.
Just assume that every single thing he told you was not just false, it was the exact opposite
of what reality is.
Well- I know, that's an assumption you could almost all.
always may. Yeah, Jank, I mean, he talked about how Joe Biden wants to regulate how many
hamburgers people eat. If that doesn't send up alarm bells or I'm mixing metaphors, but
put off alarms in your head that he's lying, maybe, maybe reevaluate. Oh, wait, there's
Dana White, UFC. So speaking of sports, do you want to hear a talk to? Yeah. Yo, got to kick
some eyes without Trump. Let's listen.
and we weren't facing the lawless destruction that now is occurring in a few of our great
cities. It blows my mind how quickly some of the leadership in this country has forgotten
the critical role first responders play in our society. Police departments and other law
enforcement, even some fire departments have faced opposition from many in this country.
But they are always the people who are asked to step up when things are at their worst
and put themselves at risk.
That has certainly been the case during this ongoing pandemic.
Come on, America.
Defunding these vital positions is not the answer.
The first responders have always taken care of us.
And now, more than ever, we need to take care of them.
Now, let's talk about COVID.
And let's be very honest about it.
No one person and no one place could have anticipated the challenges that COVID would bring.
But President Trump has faced all these obstacles head on.
He immediately put protective measures in place, and he reached out to the best and the brightest
leading American businesses across all industries to discuss what he and his administration
could do to get the economy back up and running safely.
Let me give you more detail.
In early April, President Trump organized a task force of business leaders across the country,
and I was fortunate enough to serve on that task force.
First hand, I had the opportunity to witness how hardworking and determined President Trump was to solve unprecedented problems our country was facing.
I personally observed his ability to listen and understand the issues impacting Americans of all backgrounds.
It was clear. His highest priority was always the health and safety of everyone in our country.
not just Republicans, not just supporters, but every single American.
President Trump recognized that one of the small ways to instill a sense of normalcy in people's lives was to bring back entertainment options.
The president went above and beyond to help all sports leagues involved.
Figure out a way to overcome the challenges of staging live professional sporting events in the middle of a pandemic.
And you know what? We did it.
The UFC was the first to do it, and we are continuing to do it.
Now, other sports have joined us, and some of the lessons learned are being used to help reopen other types of businesses and schools.
Make no mistake about it.
We still have a long way to go, and that is why we need a leader with President Trump's unique attributes at this critical time.
I have said it before, and I will say it again.
He is one of the most loyal human beings I have ever met.
The man has unstoppable energy.
No one, and I mean no one is going to outwork this guy.
But most importantly, he truly loves and believes in our country.
He believes in the people of this country.
America is a place.
Everyone wants a solid job.
They want to take care of their family.
They want to support the community.
Assist the less fortunate and enjoy the freedom this country has provided to all of us.
While we have certainly experienced a ton of negativity in 2020,
President Trump's mindset is to work tirelessly to find solutions to problems and help restore America.
He did it once, and I'm telling you right now, he will do it again.
And remember, President Trump may be the only president in modern times who has actually done everything he said he would do during his campaign.
there's this quote that I love from Ronald Reagan where he said there isn't any problem we can't
solve if government will give us the facts, tell us what needs to be done, then get out of the way
and let us have at it. And what that means to me is as Americans, we work hard to overcome
adversity and we face the tough times head on, irrespective of your gender, race, religion,
or sexual orientation, what unites us as a nation is freedom, equality, and opportunity.
That's what it means to be an American.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's reelect President Trump.
Let's figure out what the problems are and continue to find solutions to those problems.
Then let's get to work.
I'd like to close with this.
While it's critically important to reelect President Trump, this pandemic has also taught us
to be very, very careful, who you select as your next governor, senator, congressperson,
and mayor. It is so important to vote. And don't think that your vote doesn't matter,
because to be honest with you, it has never mattered more than it does right now. Thank you.
And have a great evening, America.
And then Gabipo, aloha, and good evening.
I'm Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes.
I'm a proud American and proud descendant.
Yeah, yeah, they had to reach deep and far to find a Latino, Republican, and
Amit, Utah dog catcher assistant, I'm here for you.
All right, anyways, so by the way, I'm in Utah.
Hey, how you know?
Don't know.
Okay, so I didn't know Dana White was that much of a jerk.
I don't know much about him, I'm sure that if I did, I would have known earlier.
Everything he said was a lie. Let's break it down. I don't want you thinking that I'm just saying
that. So Donald Trump is the most loyal guy you'll ever meet. Are you kidding me? I mean,
you guys have all seen it with your own eyes. Look at what he did in Jeff Sessions.
Look at what he did with Michael Cohen. Anybody, anybody, anybody that he doesn't do anything.
Sometimes people do who do exactly what he wants, but then it turns out it was a stupid idea.
Then he blames them and throws them out of the bus. You've seen it a hundred times.
even if you're a fan, you've seen it a hundred times. There's one thing I would, I mean,
of all the things to describe Donald Trump as, the only thing that's like, like, kind is what they
keep saying, that's probably ranks number one as, is most outrageous. Smart, probably number two
most outrageous, but loyal would be number three most outrageous. Then he said, he really
believes in our country. No, he literally doesn't want to do elections.
And if he loses, he wants to do a redo.
That's not believing in our country.
He doesn't believe in our principles at all, would end our democracy in his second.
It's the exact opposite.
He said he's done everything he promised, really?
He promised universal healthcare.
Anybody see universal health care?
No, he's just a big loud mouth.
He just spouts off things.
It doesn't care at all and hasn't delivered on anything, including his stupid wall.
And then he says, you know, this one thing we found out here is, you know, I looked at Reagan quote, tell us what we got to do and have the government.
What way? Really? The government got out of the way during coronavirus. How did that work out for us?
Because Donald Trump's a moron who didn't know how to react to anything. So he got out of the way.
And hey, we reacted the absolute worst out of any country in the world. Most cases, most deaths,
you know why? Because the government got out the way. Turns out sometimes the government has to
coordinate things. And so Dana White is wrong on every count. I've got more, but go ahead, Emma.
Yeah, so he was obviously factually incorrect. We know that all of these Republican speeches
are riddled with misinformation. But the problem with it is that it's all about the perception
of reality and the marketing because people feel so disenchanted by both political parties and
feel lied to and like all politicians are going to lie to them that almost policy and the
connection to reality, it's it's become so muddled that I'm fairly pessimistic about it and why
I fear that might have been an effective speech is that when I talk to people who aren't
super informed or more apolitical people who don't pay attention just, you know, in this area,
specifically older people, they'll go, well, what could Trump, what could it Trump done differently?
It was a pandemic, it was a virus, what could he have done? What could he do? I, and you list all
of these things, and here at least people will be like, well, what about Cuomo, nursing homes,
etc. But there is this tendency where people don't understand how we proportionally failed
when it comes to other countries and how they dealt with the pandemic. It's part of the American
exceptionalism that's embedded in everybody's thought processes. And so I do fear that when you
have a personality like white, someone who's visible, it kind of enforces what people who aren't
paying too much attention to the proportional response to coronavirus, how they kind of want
to excuse it away and think it's just this uncontrollable thing that we couldn't have done
anything differently about.
It's almost like it's too large to grasp, so they kind of toss it away.
And I've multiple older people that I've spoken to kind of have that same mentality.
Yeah, no, no, I'm not saying he's ineffective.
He, Ryan, I mean, an old school Republican that's really good.
seeming like a common guy and lying to you and speaking to you out of both sides of his mouth.
He said, you know, Donald Trump doesn't just care about republics because he cares about every
single person in the country. Here's a guy who said out loud, well, if you got governors
who don't like me, you know, maybe I won't get them the help they need during coronavirus.
I mean, he's again, the exact opposite of what's true. It reported a thousand times over that Donald
Trump was withheld things from blue states because they didn't vote for, including his tax
cut, where the cuts went to the red states and people in the blue states had to pay more taxes.
Okay, why? Because Donald Trump doesn't care about every American, he just cares about me,
me, me, me, how do I look out for me? And the people who are good to me. And so then that comes
to the issue of loyalty that Skavino brought out up and White and a couple others did. Look, he's, again, he's
the least loyal guy on the planet. But he does favor you if he thinks you're not gonna be a rat,
okay? So I don't like Dan Coveino was a catty, so what? AOC was a bartender. I don't begrudge
him that at all. I'm the last guy on earth to begrudge him that. That's great, he made it up to
what. But how did he make it up the ladder? Only through Trump, and all Trump did, he didn't
win any elections, he didn't do it, accomplish anything. He was just like, yes sir, Donald Trump,
sir, I'll carry your golf court, sir, and I'll lie for you. I'll do whatever Aaron you need.
And who's kneecap, do you need me to, you know, go after? And so Trump's like, I don't care that
you're not competent. Here, you, you, the Aaron boy, who'll do whatever I want. You're now
deputy chief of staff to the president of the United States. So and then I don't know if it's Dana
or Dana and I don't really care, but the UFC guy. So he says, you know, our first responders
They're the greatest men that they protect us.
If by us, you mean rich white people like you? Yes, that's true, okay?
If you mean all of us, that's the most preposterous thing. They do a job that's really risky,
really? Hey, a guy's going towards his car, he might or might not have something inside
his car and his three kids are inside there. Who cares? Let's shoot him a point blank rage
in the back seven times to try to murder him because we do such a risky job. No, the cops don't do a
a risky job at all, the minute they think that there's even that there's any kind of tiny little
threat. Oh, there's a chihuahua around the corner three blocks away. Murder everybody in sight.
Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. That's what they're taught. That's what they're trained for. And that's
what they do. So don't give me this thing about all cops do a risky job. It's like the least risk.
Imagine that you had, if you, let's say you operate a machine, you're out of a Ford plant or
whatever you're at. You're like, oh man, that could cut off my finger. I got an idea. Why don't
I'm bringing a Uzi in here and fire at the freaking machine because I don't want to take any
risk. That's like the cop's job. The minute you see at risk, just murder anything in your
sight. Okay, anyway, you get the sense how pissed off I am about Jacob Blake. You know what
happened with Jacob Blake? They probably told you on the chair earlier today, but I'm on the warpath.
Since dad went to go visit him, he's handcuffed in the hospital. He's paralyzed. He's paralyzed.
He's paralyzed. You shot him in the back seven times. Where is he going to go, you monsters?
That's a risky job. Oh, you never know. The paralyzed guy might get up and attack me.
Oh, let's handcuff him. Oh, such a risky job. Such a risky job. We didn't murder him yet.
So he couldn't come back. He's black. I don't know, he's black. Maybe he's got superhuman
strength. So that's risky my ass. You don't murder people and you actually see if they have
a weapon, then I'll call it risky. All right, anyway, I'm going back to Scavino. He said,
Donald Trump has, quote, endless kindness. Come on, let it go.
Let it go.
Let it go.
Absurd.
Totally absurd.
Again, I can't get over that theme.
It's also antithetical to why his base loves him.
Why are they doing this?
Why are they pushing this?
It just seems like a misallocation of everybody's time.
Look, CNN's of the world think they're tough on Trump.
You think any of them are saying this?
Like, the minute like Maddo says anything slightly tough is like a giant headline, right?
No, support us, and we'll tell you what the reality is.
We're not gonna pull any punches.
You think Maddo or, and I'm not trying to pick it on Rachel, okay, Nicole Wallace, who used
to work for the murderer Dick Cheney, but you think she's gonna say that cops have something
wrong in their culture and that their job is not at all risky?
They're never gonna say that.
They're all gonna say you will turn on local news, they're kissing cop ass 24-7.
Okay, anyway, look, support the show in any way you can.
Join buttons below, what t-y-t.com slash go.
So we want to grow, we want to grow, we got to be the fourth news network so the progressive
can win next time. So when they call us radical and say, oh, these guys, these guys are going to
take away your private insurance and give you better insurance. And next to you know,
everybody's going to be covered. At least it's going to be true then, okay? So anyway,
I got more and then I'll read your names. He said, Donald Scovino said, Donald Trump can't be
bought.
to come out here and say this done with a straight face. I'm not even gonna bother disproving
that. Yeah, everybody knows. Yeah, I don't care if you're MAGA, you know, you give that guy
10 bucks, you'll do whatever you want. Billioner. It rips people off 5,000 bucks at a time.
Anyway, and then he says, and you know Donald Trump, he's not just my friend. He's your friend.
No, he's not. And forget me, like he's the very last thing I would want is to have Donald Trump as my friend.
friend. To me, I mean, there's nothing in the world that says you're, as you're a terrible
person like being Donald Trump's friend. Anyway, but he's not anybody's friend. He's not
even Scovino's friend. He's not Dato White's friend. He's just looking for advantage. And the
minute he can, you think he won't throw Scavino after all these years under a bus?
You throw him under a tank. He doesn't give a damn at all. He's not your friend,
you idiot. He's a gravy train for now for you. Okay, so enjoy it while you can.
But to me, the most offensive thing Skavino said was, he said, and you know that Donald Trump
is too strong. Hey, hey, hey, whoa, whoa, that's our thing too strong. Okay, and Donald Trump,
by the way, out of all the lies they've said about Donald Trump and how great he is, the fact
that he's too strong might be even more outrageous than calling him smart or calling him kind.
He's the most pathetic weakling I've ever seen.
I went down to the bunker, I just inspected, like maybe like two and a half times, two and
half times. There's no such thing as going down to somewhere two and a half times, okay?
And there's no such thing as inspecting a bunker when the White House is surrounded with protesters.
No, you went because you're a weakling, you're pathetic. So don't give me that, plus
too strong coffee.com slash t-y-t. All right, I'm reading your names, give you one,

programming and Nasa Bakaria also just upgraded. You guys rock the world and we're rocking
this RNC with you guys. We're gonna keep it going all night long. Emma, go.
I mean, you made so many points, but the thing that sticks out to me more just about
cops and their culture, I've been thinking about it a lot and I'll go even further than
you, Jank. I'll one up you. I'll one up the one upper. That's how I, that's how I like to roll.
There's not just something wrong in cop culture. I think it literally attracts.
bullies. And I'm not saying every cop's a bully, but this is something you're not going to hear
on mainstream media either. The guy in high school who wants to lord over people who's insecure,
who wants a badge and a gun so that in every interaction with somebody, specifically black people,
so it also attracts racist and white supremacists, but they want to feel superior and they're
insecure fundamentally, not all cops, but some. And it attracts that kind of.
kind of person. And so it's somebody who needs to feel big by having a gun and by having
inherent power when they put on a uniform over literally anybody that they talk to.
So that's I think even a bigger problem, or not a bigger problem, but a part of the issue
of policing in this country is literally just by its definition and the culture around
it then compounds itself because it attracts people who are attracted to that culture.
Yeah, so look, I know that's a common argument that's made and I hear you and I think
that that's a some percentage of the problem. I'm more in the camp of it's the culture. And so
even if those types of people went into policing, if you trained them right and you had the
right culture, you can get past that problem. But we take good people that go as cops and
turn them into bad people by teaching them the culture of don't ever take any risk, just shoot
people, the minute you think that there's 1% of a 1% chance, black people are larger than
they appear, they're older than they appear, they're super dangerous and scary, take even
less chances with them, and you're supposed to abuse people, you're supposed to kick the living
crap out of them, it's a fun thing to do, you're supposed to assert your authority,
you're supposed to escalate all violence, I mean, I can go on and on, and they'll say,
oh, no, no, we're taught some de-escalation, we're taught some de-escalation, no, you're taught
to kick ass. And the last part of it is, by the way, if you ever see a fellow cop breaking the law,
do not ever turn them in. Otherwise you're a rat and you cross a thin blue line. Instead,
you should encourage criminality. That's, it's a giant, giant cultural problem. And nobody
talks about it, including Joe Biden. And Dana White talked about, oh, he's gonna defund
the police. How many times does the guy have to say, I'm not gonna do that, I'm gonna give
the police more money, which I think is dumb. I think Joe Biden is wrong, okay?
But you just stop lying about him.
I wish he would go and actually fundamentally restructure policing, which would involve
some defunding.
But he's not going to do that.
He's a Republican light.
And the only thing I'll give to Dana White is that he did a good job of being in direct competition.
And the only one really in direct competition with Kimberly Guilfoil for who could give the most
shouty speech.
Yes, I tweeted that they went to the same scream academy.
They must have graduated both cum laude in yelling at the top of their lungs when it's not
needed. You guys have mics and you're on camera. It's all good.
To be fair, I live in a bit of a glass house there. So, but still, I know when there's a room
that's full and a room that's empty. And they just think if you talk louder, then by definition,
you're gonna be right now. Speaking of guys who do not talk loud, you're gonna have to lean
in to listen to Sleepy Ben Carson.
The rest of the world, how humans are supposed to treat each other.
America is great when we behave greatly.
In order to succeed and change, we must first come together in love of our fellow citizens.
History reminds us that necessary change comes through hope and love, not senseless and
destructive violence. Abraham Lincoln once said to an America divided that, quote,
your purpose then, plainly stated, is that you will destroy the government unless you be
allowed to construe and enforce the Constitution as you please on all points in dispute between
you and us. You will rule or ruin in all events, unquote.
These words of warning are relevant today.
We have a choice.
Do we want big government that controls our lives from cradle to grave?
Or do we believe in the power and wisdom of the people and their ability to self-govern
with help from a limited federal government?
Our president, Donald J. Trump, believes in the people.
He is one of us.
He makes promises, and he keeps them.
He is transparent, and we certainly know what he's thinking.
He does not submit to political correctness or to its enforcers the media.
He is real.
Right now, we need real.
We need courage.
We can't cower in the corner and hope that no one calls us a name,
believing that will keep us safe, that is not courage, and that will not lead us to a good
and just place. We must remember all those who sacrificed everything in order to give us
freedom, and we must be willing to do the same for those who come after us. President Trump
does not dabble in identity politics. He wants everyone to succeed and believes in adage,
rising tide lifts all boats. Many on the other side love to incite division by claiming
that President Trump is a racist. They could not be more wrong. Years ago, Jesse Jackson gave
Donald Trump an award for the economic opportunities he created for black people. In Palm Beach,
Florida, Donald Trump led the crusade to allow blacks and Jews into private clubs and resorts.
One of the first things he did as president was bring the office of historically black colleges and universities into the White House so that it could get proper attention and financial support.
Before the pandemic, African American unemployment was at an all-time law.
President Trump accomplished prison reform.
He created incentives to encourage investors to become involved with economically deprived areas of America.
He strongly supports school choice, fully recognizing that no matter what circumstances a person
is born into, they can achieve success with a good education.
It was true for me.
When my mother forced me to read books about doctors, entrepreneurs, inventors, and scientists,
I began to recognize that the person who has the most to do at what happens to you in life
is you.
My mother always told me, Ben, you can do anything, but I will never allow you to become a victim.
It was then that I stopped listening to the people who were trying to convince me that I was a victim and that others were responsible for my victimhood.
What is racist is the fact that African Americans have the highest abortion rate.
President Trump is the most pro-life president in the country's history.
He will continue to fight for those who cannot yet speak.
The vision of a shining city up on a hill came from Jesus' sermon on the mount.
America is that shiny city.
We are the beacon of hope for the world.
At this moment in time, President Donald Trump is the man with the courage, the vision, and the ability to keep it shining.
shining brightly.
I'm Pat Lynch, President of the Police Benevolent Association, speaking to you on behalf of
50,000 active and retired New York City police officers.
We are the proud men and women who wear a shield on our chest and put ourselves in
harm's way to protect our city.
We are proud to endorse our president, Donald J. Trump, for re-election because the
stakes have never been higher. Like cops across the country, we are staring down the barrel of a
public safety disaster. More than 1,000 people have been shot in New York City so far this year.
Almost 300 have been killed. These are not just numbers. These are real people. A father gunned down
while holding his seven-year-old daughter's hand. A beloved neighborhood peacemaker killed by a stray bullet.
A 17-year-old who made all the right choices who worked hard to go to college and earned a sports
scholarship murdered before he can tell his mother the news. A one-year-old child shot dead in his
stroller. Innocent people, innocent lives lost. One tragedy is too many, but every day the number
keeps growing. And every day, our communities are asking us, why is this happening? The answer is
simple. The Democrats have walked away from us. They have walked away from police officers,
and they've walked away from the innocent people we protect. Democratic politicians have surrendered
our streets and our institutions.
The loudest voices
have taken control, and our so-called
leaders are scrambling to catch up
with them. In city after
city, they've slashed police
budget. They have hijacked
and dismantled the criminal justice system.
They've passed laws that
made it impossible for police officers
to do our job effectively.
Here's the sad truth that every cop in this
country knows. The violence
and chaos we're seeing now isn't
a side effect. It isn't
an unintended consequence, it's actually the goal. The radical left doesn't really want better
policing. They don't really care about making the justice system fairer. What they want is no
policing. What they want is a justice system that just stops working altogether. In places
where Democrats are in power, the radical left is getting exactly what they want, and our country
is suffering for it. I've been a New York City police office for 36 years. I've spent 21 of those years
protecting the cops who protect New Yorkers.
I've never seen our streets go this bad so quickly.
I've never heard from so many cops from every corner of the country who are saying the
same thing, our hands are tied.
If we're going to turn the tide and restore law and order, we cannot fall into the left's
trap.
There is nobody who hates bad cops more than good cops.
But that doesn't matter to the radical left.
To them, we're all just bad because we're all just blue.
Their anti-law enforcement campaign isn't about a single incident.
It isn't the result of one bad law or one bad policy.
It's about a message.
The message is police officers are the enemy.
The message is criminals have the right to resist arrest.
The message is if you commit a crime, if you victimize the most vulnerable of people,
the justice system will not hold you accountable.
That's the message echoing through city halls and state houses across our country.
It's playing on a loop in the media.
The criminals have heard that message, and they're taking full advantage.
We must stop that message.
We must expose the left's lies about police officers and the job that we do.
And we will do that because we have something that they don't.
We have a real leader.
We have a powerful voice in the most powerful office in our country.
We have President Donald J. Trump.
Unlike the Democrats who are running in fear of the mob in the street,
President Trump has never apologized for supporting police officers and standing up for law and order.
Unlike the Democrats who froze in the face of rioting and looting,
President Trump matches his words with his actions.
He gives law enforcement the support and the tools we need to go out there and put a stop to it, period.
And the story.
It has never been harder to be a police officer in this country.
But there are two things that keep us going.
We look at the victims, the vulnerable, the regular working people.
who count on us. We keep strapping on our duty belts and bullet-resist invests because we know we
can't let them down. And while we do that, we hear the words of our president, who says to police
offices everywhere, I will never let you down. We know that he hasn't, and we know that he won't.
We've been fortunate to have him in office these past four years, and we know that we cannot afford
to lose him. When it comes to your safety, your family's safety, and the safety of all Americans,
no other choice. You won't be safe in Joe Biden's America. We can have four more years of President
Trump, or you can have no safety, no justice, and no peace.
