Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to the Young Turks, the online news show. Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars. You're awesome. Thank you. The Young Turks, Jake, you're Anna Kasparin with you guys on a lovely Monday evening in America. So I'm in a fun mood and that'll dissipate probably within 30 seconds of us starting the news. But nevertheless, I'm trying to bring a little bit of old school and Operation Joy into the main show. And so today, we have an interesting set of news events. CBS has decided we're going to just drop the mask and go fully bigoted article against
Starting point is 00:01:15 Abdul al-Said. He should apologize to them. He should apologize to them. He should apologize to them. Okay. He should apologize to them. Anna's the only one in the country who says Abdul's not going nearly hard enough. But- He's not.
Starting point is 00:01:27 He went into a room full of Zionist scumbags and apologized to them. Why? So we'll save that for a little bit later. And speaking of Zionists, settlers attack an NBC news crew and an older Palestinian woman and beat them mercilessly. Of course they do, because they're savages. Oh my God, have I offended people? Do I need to apologize to them? Do we all need to apologize to terrorists?
Starting point is 00:01:55 Okay, anyways, you can see we're kind of worked up about the press's coverage of a lot of these races. And then a story about Pentagon ass kissers, Hegsith has apparently hired people for the express purpose of kissing his ass and making us pay for it. We'll get to that a little bit. But first, disastrous news on Iran. Okay, let's do it. I believe we're starting with a video, isn't it? The attack came after US forces struck Iran's Larrick Island after identifying preparations
Starting point is 00:02:28 for an IRGC rocket launch that was meant to place new sea mines in the Strait of Hormuz. This is the first known U.S. strike against Iran since late July. Iranian President Masud Pazekyan spoke today about the exchange of fire. We do not seek war. That has been our message to the world until now. However, in the face of aggression, we will not stand by. We are capable of delivering decisive response. Instability in this region would affect everyone and create serious problems.
Starting point is 00:02:58 All right, Iran war is back on physically, militarily. We have struck Iran over the weekend. Iran has struck us back. Did it do any damage? We'll talk about that. And what's going to be the next step in this? It appears to be escalation and disaster, as our entire military seems to be warning both Hegseth and Trump.
Starting point is 00:03:18 Don't! So Anna's got that story for you. Well, it's very clear that the expertise of our military leadership doesn't really matter much to the weekend Fox News anchor, an alcoholic, Pete Hegeseth because Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has just announced that he is resigning because of the ongoing tensions with Hegseth that's been going on for months, by the way. Now, before we get to military leadership and what they've been saying and what type of advice they've been giving Secretary of War, Pete Heggisth, let's start off with some of the military
Starting point is 00:03:54 strikes that the U.S. carried out over the weekend. Because after nearly a month without any kinetic warfare, the U.S. claims that it had carried out targeted strikes against Iranian rocket launchers on Lurark Island in the strait or near the Strait of Hormuz. So Central Command spokesman, Navy Captain Tim Hawkins claims that the rocket launchers were going to be used to disperse sea mines into the waterway that the Iranians want to have control of because they want to transit oil as well. So that storyline doesn't make much sense to me. And to be quite honest with you, even though we're unable to confirm any of this, I just don't believe our military at all, not even a little bit.
Starting point is 00:04:37 But let me continue. Iranian authorities say that these strikes killed two people and wounded others. Now, Iran has already retaliated with Trump saying that he will retaliate against Iran's retaliation. So Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps quickly warned that the U.S. strikes would result in the punishment of the aggressor and fired ballistic missiles at a Jordanian. air base housing U.S. troops. There have been no reports of any U.S. casualties. However, as we know, our government likes to withhold information about U.S. casualties,
Starting point is 00:05:10 so I'm unclear as to whether or not anyone was harmed in the Iranian retaliation. Jordan said, though, that they had intercepted eight missiles, and the UAE also claims that they shot down an Iranian drone that was close to their territorial waters. And remember, just last week, President Trump, declared mission accomplished when it came to the war against Iran and the blockade of the Hormuz Strait. In fact, this was the incredibly cheesy AI generated image that he shared on social media. It says mission accomplished. On the right hand side, it says mission not accomplished 2001 to 2021 with Bush's face on it. And then you see mission accomplished
Starting point is 00:05:54 2026 essentially taking credit for, I guess, accomplishing something against Iran. The only thing that I've noticed we've accomplished is higher gas prices, inflation, and uncertainty about our future. But as a result of, you know, how this war has kind of played out and the fact that we have depleted our munitions, there is some backlash coming from military leadership that I'll give you details about in just a minute. But also keep in mind that today Axios published a peace jank indicating that the, I guess, latest strategy by the Trump administration is to periodically strike Iran. So I'm reading specifically from the Axios report.
Starting point is 00:06:39 They say one U.S. official said the idea behind the plan is to reduce the risk of Iranian attacks on oil tankers, U.S. Navy ships, and Air Force aircraft, and get a load of this, to mow the lawn as this person said it. Now where have we heard the phrase mow the lawn? Oh, that's right, when it comes to Israel just going in and slaughtering Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for no reason at all. That's been a longstanding policy of theirs. CENTCOM told Pete Heggzith, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Dan Cain, and
Starting point is 00:07:09 the White House in recent days that the military might need to strike Iran periodically in order to keep moving dozens of oil tankers out of the Gulf relatively safely every day. Yeah, so this is very important development out of that. You're right, Maudelon comes from the Israelis and it usually means... Picture this, it's 1 a.m. You tell yourself just one more scroll through social media and suddenly you're spiraling over the latest political dumpster fire. That spiral doesn't just exhaust your mind, it actually spikes your internal body temperature. And when your body stays hot, you can never hit that deep restorative sleep.
Starting point is 00:07:45 So the fix? It's not a meditation app, it's your bed temperature. Enter Chili Pad 2.0. It's a water-based mattress topper that gives you total climate control from 55 to 115 degrees. No new mattress, no hassle, it fits right on top and water is the game changer. A fan just stirs hot air around. Chili Pat uses actively chilled water to pull heat away from your body like a heat exchanger. The new 2.0 has a quieter dock, a washable cover, and a remote that senses when you climb in and fires up your sleep schedule automatically. Sharing the bed, dual zones let each side pick their own temperature. No subscription, no hidden fees, two-year warranty made right here in the USA.

Free shipping, free returns, and a 30-night trial. The headlines will still be there in the morning. You might as well wake up ready for them. Killing indiscriminately, including civilians. So I hope that's not what we're intending. But it doesn't really quite matter because once the war starts, restarts in a significant way, it's a lot more people killed, including civilians. And by the way, when we hit it. Laroq Island, two dead, two injured. That's what happens when you drop a bomb in a place.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And so what I'm most worried about is that is a combination of what happened over the weekend in that Axios article. So apparently we've got a plan ready to hit all of Iran again because we think, oh, this time we got him, right? But Trump didn't quite want to go to it yet, theoretically. But it's so easy to go to them because all you have to say is, oh, Iran is doing X, and that will make us look weak or weak in our position. And then Trump goes, oh, well, I don't want to be weak, bomb them.
Starting point is 00:09:46 And that's what happened this weekend. And then every time Iran bombs us back. Every single time Trump, at least acts surprise, he's always like, what, they're counter attacking? That is outrageous. Oh, you didn't bomb them more. Right? And since he's a moron, it's super easy to trick him, if in fact they're tricking him. I mean, in reality, he's doing, like, so far in this term, he has done literally
Starting point is 00:10:09 100% of what Israel has asked them to do. 100%. And Netanyahu bragged about it today. He bragged about how he manipulates Trump today, literally today. Yeah, he said a thousand times I got America to do what we want, okay? And he said, and I do it by going on their media. And obviously they also have tons of Israeli assets all over our media. It's owned by Israeli assets.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Basically, right? Certainly some of the giant media companies are unquestionably owned by radical Zionists who work hand and glove with Nanyahu. So that's why you see the press that we have. It is absurdly pro-Israel, pro-genocide, pro-war in a preposterous way. Okay, so now back to this piece, if they've got this plan to basically re-engage in the war full throttle, and that's what this plan is, and they've already gotten Trump half of the way there, can you believe Iran responded to the thing that they would obviously respond to,
Starting point is 00:11:04 and he's theoretically enraged about that, well, just any little nudge, is gonna get him to do this plan. And once he has a plan to bomb things, he's a child, it's really hard for him to resist. Every single time he thinks like, this'll do it. This, not they're gonna break, they're gonna capitulate, their economies and tatters, their inflation is up. They just, like every once in all,
Starting point is 00:11:26 they'll put that out as propaganda to all of us, and we'll just ignore it as like the usual noise and bluffs that they're giving. But you have to remember, in Trump's orbit, he is surrounded 100% of the time with Israel first people go, oh no, no, Iran's about to lose. They're about to surrender.
Starting point is 00:11:41 They're like their inflation is out of control. They can't feed their people. Any second they're about to surrender. Hit him again. Hit him again. Go to war. Go to war. Go to war.
Starting point is 00:11:49 Right. And so now the generals, on the other hand, as Anna's about to tell you, have started to realize, no, this is an untenable situation. So it's an interesting counterbalance. Maybe we hope to all of the civilians who are almost universally working for Israel and not for us and telling Trump, go. Go, go, go, do more war for Israel. So we're this close because of the strikes to reengaging in full military combat, which
Starting point is 00:12:17 will have massive consequences. We'll come back to that in a sec. But let's hope the general has got his attention. So what did they say, Anna? Well, before we get to that real quick, jank, let me comment on some of this. Because the fact of the matter is, this proves that Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessence, so-called economic war, which he purportedly launched last week, was nothing. It meant nothing.
Starting point is 00:12:39 It was a giant bluff. Okay, first of all, the Trump administration has no strategy. We were to believe last week that the strategy is to crush Iran economically by implementing secondary sanctions, meaning we would go after any country that does business with Iran that buys oil from Iran. But as we know, 80% of Iran's oil is purchased by China, and ain't no way we're gonna go after China economically considering how intertwined our economic systems really are. I mean, if we were to force them off of the US dollar, for instance, that would crush the US dollar.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Like it would be such a dumb move to make. So he was bluffing from the beginning. And I guess now the idea is to be stuck in this, let's keep it real, this is a forever war. This is a forever war, Jank. If you say we're just going to keep striking Iran periodically, and there is no end in sight, there is no end date. And in fact, our sole, soldiers in the region are being told, expect to be there into the 2027 year. That tells you everything you need to know. This is going to go on and on and on. What happened?
Starting point is 00:13:48 I thought it was going to be like a quick two week thing. Yeah, you know, quick asterisk here. Right after we threatened to take people off the dollar and deep economic sanctions, the only story I saw related to that afterwards was our threats against UAE. And I think that what might have happened is that that might have been driven, I know you're going to be shocked, but by Israel to say, hey, get UAE back in line. They used to be our dogs and our servants, but now we're worried that they're going to rebel because all we've gotten is them in trouble and them bombed and hurt their economy. And they're beginning to realize that we're the problem.
Starting point is 00:14:24 And so they are looking now at Pakistan and Turkey. Not only that. And maybe even Iran is an alliance. So I think that taking people off the dollar, et cetera, that deep economic sanctions might have been mainly aimed at UAE and Saudi Arabia and saying you better not, otherwise America will punish you on our behalf. That's not a bad theory, Jenks, specifically because of the fact that UAE was actually having conversations and making deals with Iran because they want, like, okay, the US isn't
Starting point is 00:14:55 going to protect us, they're running out of missile interceptors. So we want Iran to stop striking us. So let's make a deal and they actually started transferring money to Iran. So I have no doubt that, you know, Besson's definitely what this is. Yeah, that's what Besson's whole stunt was all about. But anyway, the reality is we're now stuck in a forever war with Iran on Israel's behalf. That is the reality of the situation and we are bleeding resources, we're bleeding money, we're bleeding munitions all for a tiny irrelevant pariah state in the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Now let's get to what we're hearing about the military commanders, the chiefs, the leadership essentially and what they've been saying behind the scenes. So US military leaders are essentially warning Secretary of War or Defense, Pete Hegseth, that prolonging large-scale military operations against Iran is not sustainable and in fact would jeopardize U.S. national security. which is what we the taxpayers fund the Pentagon for. Not for Israel's expansionist policies, not to destroy countries in the Middle East
Starting point is 00:16:07 on behalf of a prior state, but we American taxpayers shell out over a trillion dollars a year to our military to keep us safe. Now the military is saying, yo, our involvement in this Iran war is actually making us less safe. So they also say it risks
Starting point is 00:16:25 weakening the military's ability to protect the US homeland, Homeland. Now, these warnings were detailed in an August 14th classified Secretary of Defense Orders book, and the Washington Post managed to get their hands on it. Someone leaked it to them. And basically the heads of the Army, Navy, and Air Force and the four star commanders who are overseeing the operations throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America warned Hegsith
Starting point is 00:16:53 to stop doing these large-scale military operations against Iran because we don't have the weapons for it, it is not sustainable, and it is putting us at risk. So the SDOB outlines the worldwide availability of U.S. warships, aircraft, personnel, and weapons systems. And as we've been talking about on this show, since the war began pretty much, we have depleted our interceptors. We have depleted other weapons as well. So the Iran War has drained U.S. supplies of terminal high altitude air defense interceptors, which are vital for. the protection of American assets in the Middle East and regional allies as well, but we've depleted them. Long-range Tomahawk missiles, we've depleted that. About 25% of the Pentagon's
Starting point is 00:17:38 Reaper drone fleet is left, meaning we've depleted 75%. And US bases there have sustained billions of dollars in damage because Iran in retaliation for what we're doing to them has been striking and destroying U.S. military bases in Gulf countries in the Middle East. So the August 14th orders book direct some troops deployed in the Middle East to remain there through September and some others into 2027. The prospect of extending those forces further compelled military leaders to voice their concern. So I'll give you some names that were actually noted in the Washington Post report here. So Admiral Daryl Klaudele, who is the chief of naval operations told Hegsith that the Navy
Starting point is 00:18:24 cannot sustain its current level of support for the Iran conflict because there is no anticipated end date. Thus, we find ourselves in a forever war. He specifically told Hegsith that only a quarter of the Navy's destroyer fleet is ready to deploy. But it gets worse. Leaders of the U.S. European Command, the U.S. Pacific Command, and the U.S. Southern Command, along with the Navy's top admiral, responded with what is characterized in the SDOB as a non-conquer. Meaning, they disagree with the secretary's order to extend their forces, but will execute it nevertheless. They warned about how military assets from across the globe are being repositioned to the Middle East or in the Middle East in order to fight Israel's war against Iran.
Starting point is 00:19:15 And that is jeopardizing certain things. So the Post notes that the geographic combat commands overseeing U.S. operations in Europe, Asia, and Latin America have had their ships, aircraft, and other equipment pulled away to support the Iran conflict, and this has limited their ability to conduct missions and ensure proper training. The Navy in particular has had to stretch its capacity to keep up with wartime demands. Overall, the tenor from the military leadership is that the ongoing Iran operation, having reached the six-month mark, has been too much for too long. Wayfair's Labor Day clearance is on now. Right now at Wayfair, you can get up to 70% off everything home. Shop Wayfair's Labor Day clearance now through September 7th at Wayfair.ca.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Wayfair, every style, every home. They also said that the outlook in Iran is now more dire, and that certain generals and admirals were more aggressive in telling Hegseth that they disagreed with the orders that he was putting out. Admiral Samuel Paparo, the chief of Pacific Command, disagreed with the level of support he was ordered to continually provide, including an aircraft carrier strike group and naval destroyers. And more disturbingly, this is the part that we've been warning about. I've been warning about on this show. More recently, General Grinkewitch, the head of European command privately warned the Pentagon that he lacked adequate naval forces to shield Israel. I don't care about that. And the U.S. homeland for missile attacks.
Starting point is 00:20:54 The U.S. homeland for missile attacks. Do you understand that, guys? Do you understand that we are being made less safe because of this war that we are having our military fight and expend its munitions on behalf of Israel? Yeah. So these non-concurs are not normal. Of course, in response to the Pentagon, it's like, it's nothing to see here. It's very normal for all of the commanders to say at once.
Starting point is 00:21:24 to the Secretary of Defense and also the President, you're making a terrible mistake and we're now prone to attack. That's not normal at all, not within a billion miles of normal. And it got leaked. So one of them is saying, as Anna pointed out, I can't even defend the homeland anymore. That's crazy. And he's like, I remember covering that story when he originally said it before it went into the non-conqueror, and it got leaked. And he was basically saying like, sorry that I can't defend Israel anymore, but I've got to protect the homeland. Like now it's in either or, right? And we've got to choose America over Israel. And he's like apologizing for it. Like, I'm so sorry that I'm, I'm forced to prioritize America over Israel.
Starting point is 00:22:11 But it was unclear if he got the permission to authorize America over Israel. Jank, Israel and the Israelis do not pay for our military. We are paying a trillion dollars a year for our military. A trillion dollars a year, guys, a trillion dollars a year. We, American taxpayers, are funding our military to do what? To fight Israel's wars to the point where they've depleted their munitions, their interceptors, and they can't protect the American homeland. And the head of the Navy and the person in charge of Pacific Command are saying, you're taking our only aircraft carrier in Asia and moving it to Iraq. Iran because they've got to get relief to some of the other aircraft carriers there that have
Starting point is 00:22:51 been there forever now, right? And people are jumping off the ships as we reported to you last week. So he's like, but now we won't be prepared for anything in Asia. Like if North Korea does something, China does something, we got nothing left there anymore. So Israel has drained us of almost everything we have. They've destroyed our country, okay? Let's be very clear about, I don't understand how people are so calm. How are people so calm?
Starting point is 00:23:15 How are Americans not out on the streets enraged about the fact that your government picks your pockets on behalf of Israel? Picks your pockets, hands it to the military industrial complex on behalf of Israel. Not to keep you safe. Our military is warning Pete Hegsith that they are not prepared and they are not armed to protect the U.S. homeland. How are people not enraged by this? Well, generally they are.
Starting point is 00:23:41 That's why 60% of the country's turned on Israel, but there's two days. different things that are going on. One is that we've got the 60% that have now gotten the actual news and they're like Anna, a lot of them are enraged. So why are we betraying our own country on behalf of this tiny country? Oh, look, it turns out 94% of Congress and every president we've had in our lifetimes has had their life number one donor be APAC or a gigantic donor be APAC in the Israeli lobby. And then, oh, look, our press says that the hundreds of millions of dollars that the Israeli
Starting point is 00:24:18 lobby gives to Congress and to the president is irrelevant because they're so moral that those politicians would never do what they were paid to do by the Israeli lobby. Oh, so it turns out almost our entire media also works for Israel, because that's the most absurd thing that anybody's ever heard. But remember, at least 40% of the country is still hooked onto the matrix. And they have no idea that any of this is going on. They're just reading the papers and watching television. They're in a different planet.
Starting point is 00:24:47 And on that planet, Israel's still the victim and still doing defense and has not used up any of our resources. In fact, on that planet, Israel is only helping us. They have given us so, by when we gave them $320 billion, we got way more back. When we spent $8 trillion doing there, it wasn't their wars, it was for our benefit that Israel dragged us into those wars. So that 40% is 100% brainwashed. So they have no idea what's going on, Anna.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Over the weekend, Israel put out some BS Hasbara that was so pathetic and so laughable. And they really presented themselves as the saviors, the protectors of the West. When in reality, they drain the life out of the West. They've drained the life out of our country. They've made our country less safe. They have killed American citizens while like constantly fearmongering about, ooh, the Muslims. You should be afraid. No, I'm afraid of you guys.
Starting point is 00:25:41 I'm not even afraid of you guys. I want nothing to do with you guys. You guys are the problem. But we're supposed to believe that it's our greatest ally. Mike Pence, what a pathetic, disgusting goon today puts out a post on X about how oh, Israel is our greatest ally. And then he shares a, you know, op-ed that he wrote about how much he wants to like get down on his knees and fillate the Israelis.
Starting point is 00:26:01 It's disgusting. Mike Pence. Does your wife let you do that? Did you get permission? Did you, did mommy give your permission to talk to Bee that way? So look guys, there's a number of people. that has been around in our politics for a long time, that I believe go beyond just doing normal,
Starting point is 00:26:19 hey, Israel gives you millions in campaign contributions, and then you support them no matter what. I think they should be investigated. Let's put it that way, okay? I can't give you conclusive evidence yet, but I can't wait for the investigations. I believe there are a certain number of people like Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Mike Huckabee,
Starting point is 00:26:36 maybe you have to be named Mike to do it, I don't know, that are Ted Cruz, the former late Lindsey Graham who are literally Israeli assets that they get talking points from the Israeli government and then they deliver those talking points here in America so we don't know for sure if we ever had an honest president I would certainly dig into it my peck is a very at the top of that list always Israel we have to do everything for Israel and I want you to understand that how strange this is because again if you only watch
Starting point is 00:27:03 mainstream media you would actually hear that that is not strange us complaining about it is some sort of deep irrational hatred for a religion, right? But they say that so often that the people who watch TV believe that. They think, oh, well, they must really hate Jewish people, otherwise. Of course they would all support and bow down to Israel. No one cares. We should give all of our money to Israel, is what the people who watch mainstream media believe,
Starting point is 00:27:28 because it's probably in it. Okay, so those guys, they're all pushing for us to get further involved in the war, and they're doing propaganda nonstop on their behalf. And so guys, these assets have been around our entire lives telling us, I'm a Zionist, I'm a proud Zionist. Pause there for a second. Think about how strange that is. Because Zionism has nothing new with religion. It's Israeli nationalism, right?
Starting point is 00:27:57 Imagine if all of our politicians throughout your whole life kept saying, I'm a Bolivian nationalist. I'm also a Bolivian nationalist. The most important thing in my life and why I went into the Senate is to be a Bolivia nationalist. We'd also go, that is, have they all lost their minds at the same time? That is the strangest thing in the world. But then if you found out they all got paid hundreds of millions of dollars collectively by the Bolivian lobby, you'd go, oh, okay, I get it, that makes sense. And imagine if our press said, no, the Bolivians have absolutely nothing to do with it. In fact, the real problem is anti-Bolivian racism.
Starting point is 00:28:31 So this is preposterous, they have our country completely under control, and our Pentagon is now screaming, we're in danger. You're supposed to care about us. Our homeland, our troops. And the Trump administration owned lock, stock and barrel, 100% by Israel. Hegsith, Rubio, Stephen Miller, Susie Wiles, and Trump himself. Go, no, we don't give a damn about the American people or the American troops. Troops, you are to go back into that war and expend every dollar and every piece of our military for the benefit of Israel. And not America.
Starting point is 00:29:11 And that's just a stone cold fact. And now the Pentagon is screaming it. And yet our politicians and our media go, I don't see it. No big deal. No big deal, nothing is amiss. Of course, every country is controlled by another tiny country that bribes all of its government officials and makes them do trillions of dollars of war endlessly and forever. That's super normal.
Starting point is 00:29:33 It's not. We're occupied. And until we fix the occupation, we're never going to end these wars. Everyone should be rioting, but we're having polite conversations. Anyway, we gotta take a break, we gotta take a break. Let's do that, when we come back, we'll talk about the Israeli terrorists who have now assaulted yet another American news crew in the West Bank. Let's go to our members. A little MacMuchee says, all you need to say is news on Iran, and I will already assume that it's disastrous. Very fair brother.
Starting point is 00:30:30 T01790 says Iran is not afraid to fight back. Look, one of the things we didn't get to there is I've been worried from day one that they have a sense of how to knock out one of our giant ships. And so they keep saying, don't test us again, don't test us again. And now we're at the point where the next attack means that they're gonna have to show us if they're bluffing or not, right? And so we're this close to something deeply perilous. And if they sink one of our ships, Trump's gonna go ballistic.
Starting point is 00:30:58 And by the way, we didn't get to another part of this story, which is the nukes. They're now hinting it, potentially using tactical limited strike nukes. So these monsters, the Israelis of course cared nothing about any other life form. So that's why they're telling Trump, who cares, murder them all? And he's open to it apparently. Stella Live Free 61 says, I bought a membership today. Well, love it, great to have you here. It's absolute pleasure.
Starting point is 00:31:25 Thank you for doing that. Holly Berry 84 says Anna, the ladies need to know where the dress or blouse is from and where can we buy it? It's from the 80s. It's vintage. Carol Anderson is the designer. All right, great. Sort of word says as Chief Dan, George once said, my heart soars like a hawk every time I see you two. Thank you. That's incredibly kind of you. Yeah. Teddy Luceland worries, Ann 47 will try to use this forever war to cancel the midterms. He won't be able to cancel the midterms, but I am worried about the kind of damage you can do in the midterms. Back on TYT, Jank, Anna and Leonardo Ramirez, 6383. And you get all of our commentary with you guys during the ad breaks.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Tiott.com slash join. All right, let's go to the next story. I'm recovering. I got hit twice on the arm. Actually, every member of my team, including the producer, the cameraman, and one of the drivers we were with, they all took hits. They smashed our car windshield, hit our crew with clubs and beat Aida unconscious. Are you okay? There's the terrorist settlers attacking yet another media crew. This one's NBC News. Earlier, they attacked CNN News, and before that they attacked Congressman Rokana. When they attack Kana, since he cares about Palestinian lives, they didn't bother to apologize. And our own ambassador betrayed America and supported Israel. This one was so vicious and so visible that even Huckabee criticized that attacks of Israeli terrorists. Now that he normally never does it.
Starting point is 00:34:02 He loves Israeli terrorists. So now apparently Israel's got some serious PR damage over this. Will it hold? Well, let's find out the whole story. Well, before we get to the details, let's be clear that Mike Huckabee deserves absolutely no credit. He paid lip service to something that he should actually care about, but is just pretending to care about it to shut people up as they rightfully call him a traitor to our country for valuing Israel over our own country.
Starting point is 00:34:29 But anyway, let's get to the details on what happened. So three members of an NBC news team were in the middle of interviewing a Palestinian woman by the name of Ida Ahmed Abdullah. They were also speaking with her family in the West Bank near Nablis when a group of massed Israeli terrorists who are euphemistically called settlers decided to attack them violently. Completely unhinged, we're going to show you the video in just a minute. Now the group was apparently walking downhill toward the home Ida and her family have been driven out of by Israeli terrorists.
Starting point is 00:35:06 And video of the incident shows that a gray car with an Israeli license plate then drove in reverse up the hill toward them. A mass man in a blue track suit holding a stick was leaning out of the rear passenger window as the vehicle approached when the car stopped at least four men in dark clothes and with their faces covered leaped out, hitting Abdullah and the crew with sticks and throwing rocks at them. In fact, here is some footage of the violent attack carried out by Israeli terrorists. We were interviewing a Palestinian woman yesterday named Aida Ahmed Abdullah, her home in the West Bank, now occupied by Israeli settlers. She says she dies a hundred times a day watching this scene.
Starting point is 00:35:55 As Aida took us closer to her home, massed young men in a gray car with Israeli license plates armed with sticks and stones rushed on the scene. They smashed our car windshield, hit our crew with clubs, and beat Aida unconscious. Are you okay? You. I sat back. We were able to get her to an ambulance, and our team was treated for minor injuries. The attack comes amid a surge of settler violence across the West Bank in recent weeks. So far this year, 76 Palestinians have been killed by settlers, according to the United Nations. Among them, 18 children. Now, Ida Abdullah's injuries luckily are not life threatening, although she did have to spend
Starting point is 00:36:40 a night at the hospital. The producer, Lahaz Jabari, says that suddenly a car came to us, the settlers had sticks. I saw a gun, but they didn't use the gun. And as we know, the Israeli government arms these terrorists with weapons like guns in order to drive Palestinians out of their homes and also kill them. Speaking of killing them, let's check in on what the latest. Death toll is, let's go to graphic five, please. More than 1,100 Palestinians, some of them combatants, as the New York Times, weirdly
Starting point is 00:37:14 describe them without providing a shred of evidence, okay? No evidence. They're just gonna say, some of them are combatants? Oh, are they? Based on what? Based on what? Okay, 1,100 Palestinians have been killed in the territory, the vast majority of them at the hands of Israeli forces, the terrorists, IDF soldiers.
Starting point is 00:37:35 And what is known as the settlers who are just Israeli terrorists. That's the reality of the situation. So is NBC surprised? Were they surprised? I mean, considering the fact that a sitting member of Congress was violently assaulted by these terrorists? Were they surprised considering the fact that earlier CNN News crew suffered the same fate that they did in the West Bank? Are they surprised? Yeah, they're definitely surprised.
Starting point is 00:38:00 But don't worry, they'll forget it by tomorrow. The entire press will have collective amnesia over it, and they'll go right back to kissing Israel's ass. And he covered it with Willie Geist today. Well, just the last show they had on Friday, they did this giant ad for Israel on that same morning Joe. They talked about how it's the 25 year anniversary of birthright Israel, everybody go back to Israel, give them your money, and get brainwashed by them.
Starting point is 00:38:29 And they go on and on about how awesome and great and wonderful Israel. Yeah, I'd rather get a root canal. Okay, and so then, so like they'll do the same segment tomorrow. They don't care that their own people were assaulted. They care for that split second. They're like, oh my God, that's so surprising. Oh, you guys got attacked by terrorists. Tell me it was those dirty Muslims, right?
Starting point is 00:38:48 It was Israelis, the beloved victims? How did that happen? They're so shocked. And tomorrow they'll forget it. They'll have no rem memory of it. Every one of their anchors will go back to being on their knees and groveling to Israel. Oh, our greatest beloved ally, Israel, right? They could kill that guy.
Starting point is 00:39:07 He's the NBC reporter and the Palestinian lady right in front of them. And I guarantee you the very next morning, Morning Joe would tell you how great Israel is. And how you should give all of your money to Israel. And by the way, you know Morning Joe pretending to be Democrats these days and pretending to be against Trump? The Royal Canadian Legion is celebrating its 100th anniversary. And now our change has a $2 coin to mark this milestone. Honor the Legion's mission to carry forward stories of service and sacrifice to new generations and their dedication to supporting veterans and their families from coast to coast to coast.
Starting point is 00:39:47 Celebrate this enduring legacy. Find the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion $2 coin today. Every time I've seen them in the news now, it's been a pro-war. segment. Well, you know, so we should probably stay longer. You know, we're kind of against the war. But we love the war. Israel says, don't leave, don't leave, don't leave, right? Okay, no, the Israelis are, the settlers are religious lunatics. Terrorists. Again, they, again, think about the contrast, right? You have Muslim fundamentalists, they do violent acts, and our entire media goes, Muslim, Muslim, Muslim, Muslim, radical Muslims,
Starting point is 00:40:23 Muslims, Muslims, right? Jewish settlers in Israel do these type of attacks 24 7, they've done on October 7th already. And our press goes, oh, October 7th, when it happens to Israel is the most important thing. Another October 7th happened to civilians in the West Bank for no reason at all, other than the fact that the terrorist Israelis want to take their land. Well, some of them are combatants, according to the New York Times. Yeah, some of them are commands. And did they note the October 7th that has happened to the Palestinians of the West Bank?
Starting point is 00:40:53 No, because they don't care about them. They view them like the Israelis do as subhuman. The Israeli lives count, same number of lives, even more civilians, dead in the West Bank. Who cares? Not even newsworthy, not newsworthy. So I'm shocked that they bothered to send people there to interview a Palestinian. I didn't know NBC News thought that Palestinians were humans. So this is the first time I've ever seen them give one iota of care about anyone who's Palestinian.
Starting point is 00:41:26 and who isn't Israeli. So yes, I'm glad that NBC's outraged. My heart's broken for what they did, that poor lady and attacking the reporters. But you're right, Anna, the idea that they're surprised is preposterous. Israelists killed more journalists in Gaza than journalists that have died in all of the conflicts in the world combined. How many Palestinians assaulted U.S. journalists and news crews? How many? New York Times maybe bother doing a report on that. Maybe some of them are combatants.
Starting point is 00:42:01 I just love how effortlessly they declare, okay, that some of them are combat. We don't even have a specific number. We don't even have a specific number. Yeah. You know, 11,000 Palestinians have been slaughtered by these disgusting terrorists, but some of them, we're not going to give you a specific number or any evidence. Some of them are combatants. They're so, that's what I meant, 1100.
Starting point is 00:42:21 They're so disgusting. But anyway, I got to say one last quick thing about that. Okay. Iran, you know, so in Gaza, 76,000 dead, but it's pulling teeth until the IDF agreed to the number of at the time, 71,000. The news every time would be like, but no, it's not true. The Israeli states are masses numbers. Don't believe them, right? Iran has protests.
Starting point is 00:42:43 A number of people died. It's 100% unclear how many died. There's absolutely zero evidence about it. And every one of these lying reporters in mainstream media goes 30,000. Then they increase it to 40,000. Then they increase it to 50,000. And now Trump in the last post he had had it at 100,000. 100,000.
Starting point is 00:43:02 And the press goes, oh, it's the Israelis reporting that? We don't need any evidence at all. Don't worry about it. Yes, absolutely, 40, 50, 100,000. The Iranians are murderers, Muslims are murderers, and they're all murderers, right? Israel, I don't know, you can't trust the numbers. You can't trust, and there's no numbers. Israel's the greatest, greatest, greatest.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Look, guys, the good news out of all this is, I think we're past the tipping point. I think that mainstream media is now looking like hacks and buffoons to a majority of the country. Terrorist sympathizers. Yeah, they look like terrorist sympathizers. They look like they're trying to trick us into supporting a different country. And so their days are numbered in a way that I have not seen before. I've told you for 20 straight years, mainstream media wasn't going to make it. But now we're at a different level where it's going to accelerate significantly from here on out.
Starting point is 00:43:52 Because now the majority of Americans know that almost everything mainstream media writes about foreign policy is a lie. When we come back from the break, we'll talk a little bit about how the Pentagon is picking your pockets, taking your money, and paying veterans to spread their propaganda, pro-war propaganda without disclosing it. We're going to tell you who those propagandas are and more when we come back. All right, let's go to Super Chat. Shat. Viva Sumud Pack Resistor says IRC respondent. with dozens of missiles after U.S. struck La Rock Island. Trump is completely brainwashed by Netanyahu into fighting Israel's wars.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Meanwhile, Israel's and U.S. moral status is collapsing at record speed with every new aggression provocation. I hope IRGC has eye on Trump Hotel in Dubai. Look, I don't want anybody get bombed in any way, but let me just clarify some of the things he's saying. Yes, Iran fired at least eight missiles back at our bases in Jordan. We claim we got them all, but we often claim that and then we find out later that it was a lie. So, but we're worried that they're going to do something bigger. And Trump might be brainwashed by Nan Yahoo, or he might be blackmailed by Netanyahu. He doesn't believe any of it, but he thinks I don't want you seeing me with God knows how young a girl doing God knows what.
Starting point is 00:45:30 James Kelly says Epstein was Israeli agent. Let's just be honest, okay? And if you don't know that, this is because the press is actively on purpose lying. to you. James Kelly says, sounds crazy, but I'm starting to worry that that's part of the plan. What's the best way to get the U.S. on board? Make us think the war is on our front door. Yeah. Oh, look, America was unguarded. Oh, look, another attack on America. Oh, look, you have to hate the Muslims and attack them all on behalf of Israel. So we should be super worried about a false flag operation from the evil government of Israel. If that offends you, there's
Starting point is 00:46:02 something wrong with you. Why are you defending a maniacal genocidal terrorist government? Okay, Trojan C2P says, neo-liberal outsourcing might finally end the military industrial complex. That would be quite quite ironic. All right, I'm out of time. We'll be back. All right, back on the Young Turks, Jen and Anna with you guys. Tomorrow, Rokana is going to be on the Young Turks, so don't miss that. All right, let me save you some money.
Starting point is 00:46:43 That's at six o'clock Eastern. He might be the only other person who's as awkward as you are when you try to smile for a picture. I just have such a hard time, just do it a normal, natural smile. I don't know. I laugh all the time so I don't know why my smiles are awkward. But okay, so let me save you some money. Noble Mobile, switch now, don't be crazy. I don't know why you guys pay more.
Starting point is 00:47:08 I really, really don't get it. It took me 10 minutes to switch, nothing on my phone switched. My cell phone service is excellent. So right now they have a promotion where you only pay 10 bucks for the first month. I'm paying like infinitely less. I probably saved over $1,000 already. So why switch later? Switch now.
Starting point is 00:47:26 so you can save the money and get a good deal. TYT.com slash switch. TYT.com slash switch. All right, let's go to our next door. The Pentagon, it turns out, have been hiring conservative veterans to kiss Pete Heggs's ass. Are they using our taxpayer dollars to make sure that people compliment Hegg's enough in social media? Let's find out, Anna. Well, this story is actually a continuation of something that broke last week involving a pretty popular
Starting point is 00:47:58 right wing account on X known as Data Republican. Turns out Data Republican is a woman by the name of Jenica Pounds, and she was hired as a special government employee by the Pentagon to spread the Pentagon's propaganda, namely Pete Heggsett's propaganda without ever disclosing the fact that she was working for the Pentagon. This started in July, and now the Washington Post decided to dig a little deeper and they discovered that there are other personalities, if you will, on X, on social media that have been hired by the government, have not disclosed that they've been hired by the government, namely the Defense Department, the Pentagon, and are spreading all sorts of pro-war propaganda that Hegsitz certainly would favor. So let's get to the
Starting point is 00:48:47 details on what we're learning from this exclusive Washington Post report. They write that those Those involved include Rob Manis, a retired Air Force Colonel, and Kurt Schlichter, a retired Army Colonel. Pentagon records show that both have active official government email addresses as of this past week and are assigned to the office of Anthony Tata, the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. Man, that guy turned out to be a real piece of work. Teta, not Tata, but still.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Now the email addresses include a .CIV suffix, meaning that they are labeled as civilian employees rather than as military personnel or contractors. But the point here is they're working for the government. They are not disclosing that as they are weighing in on foreign policy decisions and questions of military action in the Middle East. So another retired army colonel, they write, and influencer, Thomas Anderson, was listed in Pentagon Records earlier this year with a .CIV email address and assigned to Tata's office. So Madness and Anderson are assigned as special government employees, which are limited to working
Starting point is 00:50:08 for a maximum of 130 days in any given year by law. Schlichter, though, appears in a government database with a highly qualified, expert designation after his name. And so the HQE status means that a person can work either full time or part time with or without compensation. So we don't know for sure whether Schlichter is getting paid. But there is reason to believe that all of these individuals are getting something out of their special government employee status. Now, so what is their secretive work for the Pentagon? Like what have they done? What kind of messaging are they putting out there? I want to give you some examples. So let's start with Manus. So in July of this year, the Washington Post published a letter
Starting point is 00:50:52 that Manus wrote to the editor. So of course, at the time, the Washington Post had no idea that he was actually working for the Pentagon, that he had been hired by the Pentagon. But nonetheless, they published his letter to the editor. So in it, he wrote, he defended Heggsett's efforts to reduce the number of military officers who attend elite universities for fellowships. He describes himself, the, there as a retired Air Force officer, but no government role is mentioned. A post spokesperson said that Manus did not disclose any connection to the Pentagon before publication. And much like Data Republican, this really stood out to me, Jank, and this will probably grab your attention.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Much like Data Republican, after getting hired by the Pentagon, Manus decided to also focus his attention on attacking Candace Owens over her investigation into the Charlie Kirk assassination. So the real question is, are these attacks directed by the Pentagon? And if so, why? Yeah, what does the Pentagon have to do with what's supposed to be a domestic homicide? Weird, right? Why is the Pentagon interested in like a theoretically left wing, you know, pro trans guy? Why would that even capture the Pentagon's interest? Let me show you what man is. I wonder if it was something else. So there's an account on every. called Brave Report and this person has been doing screenshots of what these
Starting point is 00:52:23 Pentagon special employees have been writing about Candace after getting hired. So here's one example from Rob Manis. Charlie Kirk got no due process. Tyler Robinson killed him on live video. By the way, there's no video showing Tyler Robinson shooting a gun and actually firing the shot at Charlie Kirk. No such video exists. It doesn't exist and it's important for you all to know that as these people open lie to you. Candice Owens and Kraut are liars who need to be held accountable. Okay, so at a minimum, he's Israel first, right? If you don't know, Tyler Robinson is
Starting point is 00:52:58 very unlikely to have shot Charlie Kirk. The evidence that the government has presented so far has been abysmal. They told us it was airtight. We had preliminary hearings and the evidence was, I don't think the, like the judge, the judge is about to rule whether they can proceed with trial and proceed with the death penalty. I'm curious what he's gonna rule. Of course, there's gonna be all the pressure in the world to just move on to the trial and to the death penalty. But there's some chance that he might balker the death penalty because they have presented
Starting point is 00:53:30 terrible evidence. I agree with you on that. I think that they will proceed with a trial because of the burden of proof is very low when it comes to deciding whether or not we should proceed with a trial. It's probable cause as opposed to like, you know, convicting him, the burden of proof is going to be incredibly high. Without a shadow of a doubt, you gotta prove that this guy actually killed Charlie Kirk and killed him in the way that prosecutors allege.
Starting point is 00:53:53 But for the point of this story, why is the guy being paid by the Pentagon talking about the Tyler Robinson story or Candace Owens? Right, same with data Republican. Why has Israel first entered the chat, is my question. By the way, the data Republican example is far more severe because of the fact that she gets hired by the Pentagon. She says this herself, she gets hired by the Pentagon at the start of July. And the first thing she puts out on X is this lengthy thread accusing Candace Owens of directing
Starting point is 00:54:25 violence toward Erica Kirk. Oh, you're right. Yeah, that's right, we covered that last week. Last week, yeah. Yeah, and ha, so all the guys being paid by the Pentagon are randomly attacking Candace Owens as well as supporting Pete Huggs. That is awfully strange. So there's more.
Starting point is 00:54:43 Let's get to Schlichter. So Schlichter actually works in news media as a columnist for Town Hall. Unclear whether he informed his employer of the fact that he was hired by the Pentagon to do propaganda for them. But anyway, just an example of the kinds of headlines you'll see from Schlichter over at Town Hall. When the War already is an example from August 6th of this year. So in the column, he writes that Trump could.
Starting point is 00:55:13 could have waltzed into the midterms dragging Republicans behind him towards success. But he had the courage to do what was necessary to stop these bastards before they made it impossible to prevent them from getting a nuclear bomb. Yeah, so the same garbage we've heard for the last 20 years. Yeah. But so he's backing Trump, he's apparently being potentially being paid to back Trump and Hegseth and the Pentagon and the war. So okay, I get that part.
Starting point is 00:55:42 But again, there's an Israel first tinge to it, which is, you don't, who care. And he acknowledged America is being hurt. Trump had the courage to do it, because why does it require courage? Because it's going to hurt the country, it's going to hurt the Republican Party in the midterms, is going to hurt Trump. But Israel has ordered it, so you're to hurt yourself if Israel tells you to. And she'll just like, yeah, hurt yourself, hurt this country for Israel. Again, super strange.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Super strange, right? Now he actively spreads pro-war propaganda on behalf of the, of the Pentagon on social media as well. So he posted a video earlier this month, for instance, featuring Hegsith praising sailors on the USS Abraham Lincoln. I mean, he loves to praise them while obviously neglecting them and ensuring that like he does nothing about the terrible conditions they were operating under. But let me show you what Schlichter posted.
Starting point is 00:56:33 He says, we are lucky. We are lucky to have Pete Hegseth. In fact, one of our soldiers felt so lucky that he tried to jump off board. Yeah, well, I mean, to be fair, To Schlichter, he might be lucky. I mean, he's getting paid for the husband he'd normally do anyway. Grades, so he's gotta be thinking, how did I get this lucky? I normally kiss Israeli ass for free.
Starting point is 00:56:53 But here we go. To be fair, I don't know that it's free. Yeah, and by the way, the other thing is he says in one of his other columns, it's titled, Don't listen to the idiots about the Iran war. Were we supposed to listen to you? Are you supposed to be the smart one? Yeah, Iran war is only in the last four to five weeks. It's six months in and we're totally intractable and we can't get out of it.
Starting point is 00:57:16 We told you that we'd get regime change easily and they couldn't block the straight of horro moves. Oh, it turns out Schlichter was the dumbest guy in America. Oops. And he's still running his mouth. Hey, listen, we have eyes and ears. We can see the Iran War. We can see the 18 guys who came home dead. We can see the over 700 that are injured, all for your beloved Israel.
Starting point is 00:57:36 We can see it's not going well. We can see we're running out of interceptor missiles, our high-tech offensive missiles. Our top generals just gave non-concurring opinions at that same Pentagon saying, hey, we gotta get out of the war because now we're worried America is exposed. And yet, you're still rah, rah, Israel. I love Israel so much more than America. I hope America crashes and dies on behalf of Israel, right? Kurt, Trader, Schlichter.
Starting point is 00:58:03 How much are you getting paid for this? And is it by the Pentagon or is it by Israel or both? And look, remember, guys, our federal government picks your pocket. pockets and pays people like this to lie to you about war and what's happening in the Middle East. By the way, Schlichter attacked me recently. I wanted to share that with you, going along with the Israel First narrative. So it started with me quote posting a Reuters article about, you know, how Israeli settlers, terrorists in the West Bank had cut off like the irrigation pipes back in June to basically deprive Palestinians of
Starting point is 00:58:42 water, then they diverted the water to a tourist attraction, like a theme park type thing that they're building. And I wrote a cancer on mankind, because they are, they're a cancer on mankind. Schlichter writes, leftists are Nazis. No problem with these disgusting terrorists depriving innocent civilians of clean drinking water. No commentary on that. No, no. Anna, to be fair to them, most of mainstream media agrees, the feelings of those settlers, as they enjoy the
Starting point is 00:59:12 The park and their amusement is way more important than the lives of the Palestinians. So what if they don't have clean water or the ability to farm or have enough food to eat? They're just lowly Palestinians, whereas the Israelis want to have a good time. And remember, supporters of Israel, their feelings are way more important than the lives of any other human being, Palestinian American or otherwise, right? Yep. So before we move off of Schlichter and talk about Thomas Anderson, do you want to guess whether or not Schlichter attacks Candace Owens over her investigation to a Charlie Kirk assassination?
Starting point is 00:59:46 I'm sensing a theme here, so I'll go with, yes, he does. He sure does. Of course he does. He recently shared like an AI video mocking her and that kind of stuff. Anyway, now let's get to Thomas Anderson. So Thomas Anderson, well, you will, who will find being extremely critical of like fellow veterans and others who opposed the war. Or like he attacks veterans and members of the military who are critical of the war against Iran. So writing for the Federalist in April, he assessed that there is a cancer in America's military ranks.
Starting point is 01:00:24 And it must be expunged before it's too late. This past week, he repeatedly defended Jenica Pounds, that's Datta Republican on X, for serving as a special government employee, as he also declined to answer questions from several people about whether he was a special. government employee too. Spoiler alert, he is. And he claims that the law does not view such people the same as civil servants, and they are legally allowed to continue whatever other private endeavors they were undertaking. In many cases, they are prohibited for revealing their status because of the sensitive nature of their work, which is complete and utter horse crap. Okay, he's trying to provide cover for himself because he is a propagandist, a mouthpiece for hire by the Pentagon.
Starting point is 01:01:16 Yeah, so first off, that is such an interesting thing to say there's a cancer inside the Pentagon. Is he referring to Americans trying to represent American interests? Correct. He's like, I mean, we're all supposed to be working for Israel, and I found this cancer that's working for America. We've got to root it out, okay? And so then I realize, wait a minute, what's the theoretical job that these guys are working on? The article does explain it at one point. It's theoretically a task force on woke policies at the Pentagon.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Okay. Now, to my knowledge, they haven't released any report or anything like that. I'm sure they will at some point. I think they will at some point. But my guess is, ahead of time, that they will interpret that mandate of wokeness to somehow include Palestinians, right? Because when you start talking about woke policies, yeah, it's easy to say, oh my God, they didn't even hate trans people or gay people or black people or whatever they're gonna say, I don't know, right?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Oh, they once honored an African American war hero, how dare they? So I'm sure they'll have some of that as their cover story. But my guess is they'll somehow conclude that not supporting Israel 200% is woke. And so like, oh, we have some woke policies that doesn't want to go to war for Israel or Is it woke to have a problem with slaughtering over a hundred little school girls at an elementary school in Iran? Is that kind of woke? I'm sure that they would say that is.
Starting point is 01:02:41 Yeah. So okay, look, and guys, they try to, one of the reasons is they're trying to get the right wing back on their side. And a lot of the right wing are now super pissed at Israel because they realize we're occupied. And they've taken our freedom and our money and our military. So they're trying to get them to hate someone else. It's like that Indiana Jones trick. You gotta replace it with an equal weight.
Starting point is 01:03:02 So they're like now, okay, okay, don't hate Israel, hate Muslims, hate woke, hate trans, hates anyone, anyone, just hates someone else, okay? So that's why they hire goons like this. So now to the heart of the story, look, if you want to coordinate with Hegsiv and Trump because you all love each other or you agree to the same policies or you're all working for a different country, Norway, Poland, whoever, right, fine. But when you say American taxpayers should pay for that propaganda, like if it's true that Hegseth is paying these guys to compliment him, no, that's a big, big problem.
Starting point is 01:03:43 That's a giant problem. And if you're on the right, you could see this super easily. Imagine if Biden was like, oh yeah, I hired a bunch of left-wing influencers and their job was to kiss my ass with your taxpayer money. How livid would you be, right? I'd be super livid. I imagine everybody would, right? So that's the situation we're in here.
Starting point is 01:04:02 And second of all, tell your audience, right? So like guys, there's nothing wrong with liking people. We're pundits, right? Like we supported Bernie Sanders. I support Roe Kana. Now I think he's been amazing lately, right? One of the only politicians who's done anything to help us. So but I'm super transparent with you guys about it.
Starting point is 01:04:19 Nobody hides the ball. Meanwhile, these guys are like, they might be getting paid by Hegsith to do all this propaganda for exeith in Israel and they don't tell any of you guys. They pretend that it's their authentic opinion. So then how do you know is that their authentic opinion? Did they get paid for it? Who's paying them? And that's the problem right now.
Starting point is 01:04:40 There's just, there's people interested in propaganda and they're paying a lot of money to take up a lot of the influencers and to have them deceive you. All right, we gotta take a break. When we come back for the second hour, we'll talk about Abdul al-Said apologizing to a room full of people who aren't interested in his apology and just want to use it as an admission of guilt when he did nothing wrong. We'll also talk a little bit about how those discount gas stations that Trump was touting, it looks like stolen oil might have a lot to do with them. We'll be right back. I don't care if you're Christian. In fact, I will fight for you to have
Starting point is 01:05:25 your religious liberty and practice your Christianity. I believe in that. I don't believe in Christianity, which means that you do not get to dictate the way I live my life based on your religion. I don't care what the Bible says. You have every right in the world. All those women who identify with your religion have every right in the world to not get an abortion, to not take birth control. But they do not have the right to dictate my life. And what I decide to do with my body, I don't care about your goddamn religion. I'm so tired of having non-stop conversations about what the Bible says. You live your life in the way that you interpret the Bible.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Again, I don't care, but you don't get to take the Bible and tell me, while the Bible says this, in this chapter and this verse, I don't care. I don't care. I don't believe in it. And I have the right, based on our Constitution, to not believe in it. That's been left on Skate. Ain't a whole lot left. I don't know why they need any more law.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Let us give you. The United States provided $18 billion. in military aid to Israel. Netanyahu indiscriminate bombardment have killed more than 50,000 civilians, 60% of whom are women, children, paramedics, and journalists, all of this is against basic human decency. You don't starve children with absolutely no humanitarian aid getting into Gaza.
Starting point is 01:07:01 It is a war crime. It is illegal for the United States government to provide Israel with more offensive weapons. History will not forgive us. We've been on our phone too much. I feel like we just need to touch grass or something. I told you. I mean, you know what? Let's actually do it.
Starting point is 01:07:28 Let's touch the grass. Whoa. Andrew Yang? It's not racist, right? It's him. Yes, it is I. Andrew Yang out here giving one. money away as usual. Wait, but literally? Do you use a phone? Noble Mobile will cut your
Starting point is 01:07:44 wireless bill in half every month and you get paid even more if you log off, look up, and touch grass. Oh, I actually have some grass if you... I don't think that's a kind of grass. Not that kind of grass, unfortunately. Whoa, wait, what's the... Whoa. I guess that kind of grass works too. All grass works. All grass and we get cash? Did you see that? Babe! Make your brain, go make your brain, make it... That didn't rain so good, but now it's raining good.

Starting point is 01:10:01 Okay, let's do the next story. So CBS News is actually receiving flak, believe it or not, for an over-the-top bigoted article they had Abdul al-Said. I don't know what's more shocking that they had the article, not at all shocking. Or that they're getting pushback for it. Hey, okay, we're getting somewhere. So Anna, what was the article about that made people so angry? It was about, in my opinion, innocuous comments that Abdul al-Said had made, but that CBS
Starting point is 01:10:30 with Barry Weiss at the helm has exaggerated about in order to make him out to be some sort of bad guy. So that's the reality of the situation, bad faith framing. to make a big deal out of nothing, in my opinion. So the following post was published this morning and soon went viral. Take a look at this, it's from CBS News. As the nation prepares to mark 25 years since September 11th, 2001, Abdul al-Said, the Democratic nominee for US Senate in Michigan, may be facing the risk of renewed scrutiny and
Starting point is 01:11:02 fresh political attack. Fascinating. Now, while I read you his supposedly offensive statements, I just want you to remember that Al-Qaeda allegedly carried out the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil, that was 9-11, and we then went on to arm al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria during the Syrian Civil War, but CBS isn't complaining about that, are they? Now let me continue. The piece itself is titled Michigan Democrat Democrat Abdul al-Said's deleted tweets on September 11th attacks
Starting point is 01:11:38 invites scrutiny of past remarks. I don't know why he deleted them because I don't find them offensive at all, but I'll read them to you. In one post from April 2020, El-Said compared the nearly 3,000 Americans killed on September 11th to the mounting COVID-19 death toll and argued for a response commensurate with the nation's post 9-11 mobilization. Like literally everybody said that. Chris Rock said that, Donald Trump said that, several Fox News anchors said the same exact thing. Are we not supposed to do that? Are we like so there's a global pandemic and tens of thousands of people are dying? Are we just supposed to?
Starting point is 01:12:19 Or are we only supposed to do things like mobilize and use every resource for foreign wars? Is that what we're supposed to do? Yeah. So there's two different issues here guys. One is what CBS is mainly doing here with taking these innocuous tweets and going, aha, is look, he's a Muslim. You know he wanted 9-11. That's their implication. It's super clear from the headline, from everything in the article, and other reporters,
Starting point is 01:12:48 and this is what's unusual about this story, not just people on the left, not just people who are concerned about Israel, but other reporters are going, guys, this is over the top. Like you're just, this is nothing but bigoted. That's the most benign comment we've ever seen. But there's a second issue that almost no one's talking about, which Anna is about to get animated about in a second, which is Abdul, please stop. deleting things and apologizing for things. I know, I mean, come on.
Starting point is 01:13:12 Like there's no reason to delete that tweet. There's nothing wrong with it. You're just drawing attention to it so that Barry Weiss can use it to smear you. So anyways, tell them about the second one. In another, El-Sayed wrote that because more Americans had died from COVID than in the September 11th attacks, he hoped that means we'll spend the next 10 years fighting a war for public health and against poverty. Like we launched a global war on terror after. 9-11, we could save lives rather than take them.
Starting point is 01:13:43 That's 100% true. To be fair, that is offensive. I mean, he is advocating for our government to take care of our people and how dare he when those resources could be used for Israel. Yeah, and by the way, that's why, I mean, if you can find a way to get offended at that quote, the only way you can is if you say, oh, is he saying the global war on terror was not good? Well, of course it wasn't good.
Starting point is 01:14:07 We wasted $8 trillion and got absolutely nothing in common. So what do you like is that a controversial position? It is if you're Israel first because Israel thinks no no no that was a global war on our neighbors and our enemies. On our behalf. And so how dare he object to the $8 trillion global war on terror that cost thousands of American lives and was counterproductive? How dare he and just spend it on American healthcare and poverty to spend it on Americans instead of Israelis? That is outrageous.
Starting point is 01:14:38 Look at this dirty Muslim. That's the essence of this article. There's more. In another deleted post, first reported by the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative outlet, El-Sahed wrote on September 11th, 2021, today I mourn the 3,000 lives, 6,000 injuries, and infrastructural devastation in New York City perpetuated ignorantly in the name of my faith. Supposedly. Tomorrow, I'll mourn one million lives.
Starting point is 01:15:07 lives, millions of injuries, and infrastructural devastation in three countries perpetuated ignorantly in the name of my country. So he's talking about US foreign policy and how we go in and we destroy countries, especially in the Middle East. That's what we do. Okay, so he says he hated what happened on 9-11, I think 100% of America agrees. Then he says he hates that we did the Iraq war and destroyed a whole bunch of countries and wasted a lot of our money and our soldiers died for no reason.
Starting point is 01:15:41 And now, what, 85% of the country agrees to that, 90%. How are these in any way controversial? But they're like, Abdul Sahid 9-11, benign quotes. What is this? And the irony is that the same CBS article explains how and why the media is running a smear campaign against him. So the more El-Said is questioned about his prior rhetoric, the less he will be able to wage successful attacks on his opponent, the Republican Mike Rogers, said Democratic strategist and CBS News contributor Joel Payne.
Starting point is 01:16:22 Well, that's the point, that is the point. And you literally have sitting Democratic members of Congress who are playing into this, knowingly, wittingly, they know what they're doing. They are helping the Republican in the Senate race win that Senate seat. And the last thing I saw before I got on air was David Seroto and Glenn Greenwald, both pushing back against this and going, what are Democrats doing? It's not just Republicans attacking Abdul El-Sight. It's not just the mainstream press who hates Muslims and are deeply bigoted and loves anything that relates to Israel and war that are doing this, that we're kind of used to. of that, right? But Democrats are attacking Abdul al-Said.
Starting point is 01:17:06 Yeah. And I'll add from my perspective, meaning what I've seen, every time I've seen a Democrat on TV the last two weeks, they have not been attacking Trump or the Republicans, they've been attacking Abdul al-Said. Yeah, why would they attack Trump and the Republicans? Trump and the Republicans are doing exactly what the mainstream Democratic Party wants. You think the mainstream Democratic Party has a problem with the Iran war? They're not a problem with the Iran war, if anything, they're probably upset at themselves. for not being the party that launched it.
Starting point is 01:17:34 Yeah, and whenever we talk about that, we mean the politicians. The voters are 100% on the side. I never, whenever I say the Democrats or the Republicans, I'm never talking about the voters. Just like when I say the Israelis, I'm talking about the government, not civilians. Yeah, and so look, as I wrote in response to that CBS news tweet, ma'am, I'm sorry, I hate to bother you, but your mask is slipping off, right? And so that's true of CBS and that's obvious, but everybody knows that,
Starting point is 01:18:02 that once Larry Ellison bought it, he's the largest contributor he gives to the IDF as charity. And so he's a super radical Zionist who believes Israel hasn't killed enough. And so that's not surprising that CBS is now basically pure Israeli propaganda, right? So but even so, by the way, it's critics in the media. Never say that. They go, it is too right wing. Larry Ellison used to give it to Bill Clinton in the Democratic Party. He's not left or right. He's only pro-Israel.
Starting point is 01:18:35 Same thing with Barry Weiss. So, oh, I'm against cancel culture. Barry Weiss started cancel culture at Columbia's campus by trying to fire anyone who criticized Israel. And all the Palestinian protesters, just because they were professors, I should say, just because they were Palestinian or all the Muslim professors because she's deeply bigoted. So this is everybody knows that CBS is going to do this. I'm gonna go further and say, first of all, all the mainstream media, you're like, some of you, such an obscure thing through some of you, but for the older folks in the
Starting point is 01:19:06 audience like me, you'll remember our whole lives that Jesse Helms ad was considered the most racist ad in politics in our lifetime. So white hand crumpling up a job application saying, you know, you deserve the job, but they gave it to a minority because of quotas, right? And everybody's like, deeply racist. They're doing about a thousand times that against Abdul, like almost all the media. Abdul al-Said, Muslim against Israel, terrorists, 9-11, Dhan Piker, 9-11, Husson Piker, Muslim, Muslim, Muslim.
Starting point is 01:19:41 And it's not one outlet, it's almost all the outlets. And then on top of that, the Democrats go on team and they're like, remember, vote against us. This is absurd. Washington is obviously occupied. The only Casolas I take from any of this, Anna, is that they're making it so obvious in the Abdul case that they're risking like an independent rebellion. Like the independent voters going, you know what?
Starting point is 01:20:08 No, no, you and the horse you rode in on, brother, man, it's obvious you're trying to get Abdul to lose. It's super obvious. And if the unit party and the establishment and the disgusting mainstream media is against Abdul El-Said, oh my God, he's probably gonna represent us. They never get that animated unless someone is about to represent us. They do this literally every election cycle, they usually get what they want, so I have no hope at all. But one of the reasons why I have no hope at all is rather than realizing exactly what's going on here,
Starting point is 01:20:43 and rather than refusing to cave to the demands of these disgusting, loathsome propagandists, dishonest scumbags, okay? Abdul al-Sal-Said has decided, you know what, I'm gonna go into a room of Zionists, and I'm going to apologize for doing nothing wrong. Now he claims he didn't do anything wrong, or that he's being misunderstood, but let me tell you exactly what happened. So this was posted on X yesterday, but I want to read you word for word what this account said.
Starting point is 01:21:13 This is Naraj Warriku, who says, at a private event today in a Detroit suburb, Abdul al-Said pleaded with Jews to forgive him. Quote, I'm asking for forgiveness and a moment of grace, El-Said said in a Burm, in Birmingham to the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus, Summer Simka. I made a mistake. Okay, wow, all right, well, what was the mistake? What did you say? That was so terrible, I'm so curious.
Starting point is 01:21:41 So here's the context. In March, a man attacked Temple Israel Synagogue in a Detroit suburb ramming his car into the building an opening fire on a security guard before dying by suicide. Okay, horrible terror attack, horrible thing to do. Abdul al-Sayed in no way justified it, in no way said that it was warranted. But what he did say in a video response at the time, he condemned the attack and added that hurt people, hurt people. Now why?
Starting point is 01:22:13 So the man who carried out this attack, Amin Ghazali, had lost four relatives in an Israeli air strike on Lebanon the week earlier. So four of his family members were killed by the Israelis in Lebanon. And so Abdul al-Said was trying to make a point about this cycle of violence is not good. It is bad and it needs to end. But of course, dishonest hacks intentionally pretended like they didn't understand the point he was making and made a big deal about this. And what did Abdul al-Said do?
Starting point is 01:22:46 walk into a room full of people and apologize for something that he shouldn't have apologized for. I have a guess as to why he did that. So look, guys, all of this is first about trying to explain why things happen, right? And maybe you don't say it exactly right, like Hassan, instead of saying, hey, our foreign policy had blowback, and part of that blowback was 9-11. And now that is accepted by almost every foreign policy analyst. He shortened that to deserve 9-11, and then he took it back immediately. Similar thing here, condemns the synagogue attack. Of course, any person would, there's no question, and he did, there's no question about that. And this is, but let's look at why these terrible cycle of violence is happening.
Starting point is 01:23:37 But in American media, when you look to see why things are happening, that is when the media gets most upset. upset. They're like, no, you have to be dumb. Do not try to get knowledge or information. What do you think we are? Reporters or journalists? No, be purposefully stupid and do not investigate why. Why? Because if you look into why we keep getting blowback, it's because we're supporting Israel and it's evil occupation of the Palestinians for the last 60 years. We've been oppressing them, humiliating them, and killing them. And now we've got to in an open air concentration camp and what it was 30% of Gaza. So if you look at what is causing the violence against us, you will find out it is because
Starting point is 01:24:22 we are allied with Israel, which has done great evil in the Middle East, and people are justifiably super angry at it. Yeah. That is why whenever you talk about the causes, they go, no, anti-Semite, apologize, get on your knees, right? And they get super animated about it. And so that's why Anna's right, you should not feed that beast. No, you should not apologize.
Starting point is 01:24:47 Look, this is really important to understand. You know yourself, okay, when you have actually stepped in it and you said something that was wrong. Everyone knows when they've said something wrong. Abdul al-Sayyad knows that what he said there was not wrong, but he probably thought, if I apologize to them, they'll understand where I'm coming from. But these people are not interested in your apology. They see your apology as a confession of wrongdoing and they use it against you.
Starting point is 01:25:14 So never give into that, never, never, do not, when I'm wrong about something, I know it, and I do apologize. You guys have seen it on this show, you've seen me post apologies online when I've gotten something wrong. But when I am dishonestly attacked, I do not apologize and I refuse to apologize because I know what's going on. Yeah, I'm gonna get a little philosophical here kind of literally. So this weekend, I read a lot more about Hannah Arendt, and she was originally a Holocaust
Starting point is 01:25:42 survivor who was a Zionist and was trying to get people to go to Israel to save their lives in the beginning. And then she turned against Zionism, and she covered Adolf Eichmann's trial in Israel and wrote about the banality of evil. It's actually a landmark book, and she's absolutely brilliant. And Israel has hated her ever since. And so they did enormous propaganda against her. Why am I bringing her up in this context?
Starting point is 01:26:10 Because in the Adolf Eichmann trial, she expected to find someone super evil, makes sense. As a Nazi led to the deaths of so many people, including people she knew and that she barely escaped from, right? But what she found instead was a bureaucrat. And it was a super interesting observation. And she was absolutely right about it. And everybody at the trial confirms that she was right about it. And she said that's scarier because it's actually,
Starting point is 01:26:34 that means you can get normal people to do terribly evil things for, you know, reasons X, Y, and Z. Part of the reason they were so angry with her is because they're like, no, don't show the reasons that led up to this catastrophe. Just paint the other side as evil so we can kill them. So now killing Aidoff Eichmann is easy, he's a Nazi and he did on speech speakable things, even as a bureaucrat is signing away people's lives. There's no, that's not the issue at all, right?
Starting point is 01:27:09 What the issue is, should we try to solve why this came about? Why terrible things like 9-11, the Nazis, the Holocaust came about? Or should we just be purposely ignorant so we can go other side evil, kill them, right? So now when you fast forward to today, whenever you look into the sources of why we're hated, we get morons like Joe Scarborough going, they hate us because they hate us. Don't look, don't look, don't look. They hate us because they hate us. Remember, the Muslims are evil.
Starting point is 01:27:37 Bill Maher, same thing, Sam Harris, same thing. Don't look into why the Muslims hate us or are upset with us. The Muslims are just naturally evil and the only answer is kill them, right? So that's why they do these things where they don't want you to figure out why that synagogue attack happened. Now the reality is synagogue attack was horrible, killing innocent people, doesn't solve a damn, thing, but is anyone going to say with a straight face, they can't figure out the mystery of why the guy did what he did? That doesn't justify it, it just says you're an intelligent person that tries to solve
Starting point is 01:28:16 why it happened so you could prevent it from happening again. So- That's the thing, they don't want to change their behavior. Exactly, and they don't want to change any behavior, they don't want to look into causes, and instead they want to go, oh, Abdul looked into the causes, and he's wasn't perfect. evil, just because he's Muslim, he's evil. By the way, I mean, they do these over the top bigotry. The same exact people, if you just say that Israel committed a genocide, they're like, anti-Semi, the biggest, they're saying we're not allowed to murder 23,000 kids.
Starting point is 01:28:51 So if you're thinking about running as a Democrat for any congressional seat or in the Senate, whatever you want to do, you have to understand, especially if you're going to take on Israel, okay, you have to understand that they're little operatives and agents here are gonna try to destroy you. So if you are, I don't know, if you are easily swayed to apologize for wrong doings that you didn't actually commit, please don't run. Don't run. Okay, so Anna, let me get to why I think he did it. So do I think that he thinks he's going to get like radical Zionist votes of Michigan? No, Abdul is way too smart to think that. What did he think he was going to get out of it. Okay, my guess is that what's happening to him is what I described last
Starting point is 01:29:36 week happened to a politician. Again, I got it, you know, off the record, so I can't tell you who or which state, okay? But that person described to me, they were also Muslim, that they had to go and do a tour with not just Jewish organizations, but Israeli lobby groups. Repulsive. And why did they have to do that? Because The moderate Democrats, which is almost the entire establishment infrastructure in almost every state, right, said if you do not do this, we will actively make sure you don't win, okay? So Democrats threaten to take out their own candidates behind the scenes all the time. They would much rather have Republicans win if the Democrat is going to defy Israel.
Starting point is 01:30:23 So my guess is his number one issue now perception wise is actually not this stuff. It's that all the Democrats in Michigan having unified around him. So what they're telling the voters all the time, and I'm sure he's seeing it in the polling. I don't have any inside information. This is my, based on my experience in covering politics for quarter of century, that he's seeing some polling going, some of the voters think that maybe there's something wrong with you because Democrats they like in Michigan are not backing you. So it's the same thing AOC did this shortcut Chukharbarthi in California 11, Classy, yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:57 Where they were like, she refused to endorse him. So his opponent started running ads saying, well, he was her chief of staff and her campaign manager. If she's not endorsing, there must be something wrong with him. And that was really persuasive to the voters. So that's the strategy they're now using against Abdul al-Said. So in order to get the super corrupt Democrats to at least be neutral, he has to do things like this.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Yeah, well, good look with that. Let's see how it works out for you. For now, we gotta take a break. When we come back, we'll talk about stolen fuel and the phony nonsense discounted gas stations that Trump had touted earlier. All right, let's go to Super Chat again. Little Max Corner says just doing what I can, when I can. TYT is more important now than ever, and Anna's sincerity keeps me sane now more ever too.
Starting point is 01:32:06 Thanks to all of you for doing what you do. Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Anyone who says it is is a dishonest hack and basically either works for Israel for free or maybe gets paid for it. But there's Israeli assets all over our media and all of our government. And all they do is these Israeli talking points. Of course anti-Zionism is an anti-Semitism. That's like saying being against Nazis is being racist against Germans. No, Nazism was a specific ideology, nationalist ideology at that time in that country.
Starting point is 01:32:41 It doesn't have anything to do with the inherent nature of German people. And fascism goes around the globe. But they demand it. They say, no, we want you to lie on behalf of Israel. Well, we refuse to do that here, okay? Trojan says neoliberal outsourcing might finally end, oh, I read that already. 0.083 says the orange buffoon is completely compromised our entire defense posture. Trump is an actual Manchurian candidate.
Starting point is 01:33:06 It's more than obvious. Well, if he is, it's that Israel versus Rome thing that Netanyiote. who talked about. Oman J. Meza says at this point we need a coup to get these genocidal traders out of our government, and I don't want it to be like that. But no, no, no, no, don't talk about coups. America has a system to replace a government entirely. It's called an election, okay?
Starting point is 01:33:26 So 2028, make sure all of your energy goes towards picking an American rather than an Israeli to be our president. That makes all the difference. Kevin Shea says, Anna, still sporting a nice tan. All right, thank God. We'll be right back. Back on the Young Turks, Jen Canana with you guys. At 8 o'clock Eastern, I host a show called The Revolution Right here, so you stay here.
Starting point is 01:34:09 It's available to everyone. And tonight I'm gonna interview the candidate running as another A-PAC back candidate in New Hampshire, another internal Democratic Civil War, and she's closing fast on him. Has she apologized yet? No, and she's being outspent 56 to 1 and has almost caught him anyway. So make sure you're checking that out at 8 o'clock Eastern. And then after that, I'm going to do a bonus episode for the members where I'm going to read a lot more your comments because you guys had terrific comments. And I want to interact with you guys during the members-only episode.
Starting point is 01:34:39 So hit the join button below or t-y-t.com slash join to become a member and get that extra bonus episode for the members. And you guys are going to love these comments. Okay, let's go to our next story. I saved money. I had to go back and get my change. I thought gas was more expensive, but it's not. So thank Trump for saving me some money. We're here at the first Freedom Fuel Network gas station right here in,
Starting point is 01:35:00 Philadelphia leading the charge to lower gas prices. $3.47.47. That's for our 47th president, President Donald J. Trump. Thank you, President Trump. Thank you for helping our country. It's President Donald J. Trump leading the charge to lower gas prices right here at Freedom Fuel Network's gas stations. America! Bing! Okay, we'll get to how absurd and funny that is in a second. But now we find out why they might have been able to do lower prices than everybody else. Because the oil might be stolen.
Starting point is 01:35:35 Oops. Now, to be fair to Freedom Fuel, they didn't do it. Anna's got the whole story. This whole thing is a mess. And the poor Americans who decided to be part of that commercial don't hold it against them because they probably had no idea how much of a scam this all is. But let me walk you through it. So if you can recall back in early July, President Donald Trump announced the launch of gas stations
Starting point is 01:35:59 that would be selling discounted fuel to, you know, combat the higher fuel prices that were all absorbing because of the Iran war that we got dragged into by Israel. Yeah, that. So gas would be offered for $3.40 a gallon at 29 locations in just two states, Philadelphia, New Jersey. Like, it's hard to believe that anyone actually believed, like that anyone actually fell for this notion that we're going to have discounted gas across the nation when obviously this was only in two different states. Now, the average price in Pennsylvania at the time of the launch of freedom fuel was $3.99. So Philadelphia, New Jersey, those are the only two states where they had these freedom fuel gas stations. And the price was a little bit lower, but not to the point where you're thinking, okay, like this is going to save us from war-related inflation.
Starting point is 01:36:58 Now, in his announcement of this network of discount gas stations in just two states, Trump wrote the following. As we approach America's 250th birthday, I am pleased to announce that a very smart retailer located throughout the northeast is stepping up and wishing the people of Philadelphia a happy birthday. On July 3rd, the Freedom Fuel Network will be lowering gas prices at 25 freedom fuel stations across the greater Philadelphia area. This retailer is taking the lead and others should follow. Or you could, you know, not go to war against Iran, but heaven forbid, you even consider that. I mean, you gotta do what the Israelis want you to do, right? Trump,
Starting point is 01:37:37 you gotta do what your masters tell you to do. At the time of Trump's announcement, CNN noted that it was unclear who was running the gas stations or how long they'd be operating. And while these stations are still active, their prices have actually gone back up to market prices, okay? So. Really? That's so surprising. Ain't no freedom fuel operating or flow in at these gas stations. So now, thanks to a new lawsuit, we're actually learning more about what's actually transpiring here. Okay. So let's talk about that lawsuit. It was filed by the Georgia-based Mansfield Energy against KRSM, a company based in New Jersey, and its president, Syed is a guy by the name of Syed Cosmi.
Starting point is 01:38:25 So from May 21st to July 7th, KRSM picked up 1.1 million gallons of fuel worth nearly $4 million from a fuel supply terminal in Pennsylvania, according to this lawsuit. Then KRSM sold that fuel to a two gas stations that were part of the Freedom Fuel Network, which was able to sell gas at lower prices compared to its competitors, according to the lawsuit. All right, great. But then it turns out, Mansfield Energy puts out a statement with their lawyer representing them. So their lawyer says this, quote, despite the fact that the last delivery was more than five weeks ago, KRSM has not paid $1 toward the $4 million that KRSM owes Mansfield.
Starting point is 01:39:15 So they took the fuel and they never paid for it, according to the lawsuit. Well, that'll make it cheaper. It'll make it cheaper, but not much cheaper though, 50 cents a gallon cheaper, roughly. But they just took the, according to the lawsuit, obviously it needs to be proven in court. According to the lawsuit, they just took the fuel never even paid it. Yeah, and remember guys, it's not freedom fuel. There's a couple of people in the supply chain. So it's the suppliers of freedom fuel that are being sued based on these allegations.
Starting point is 01:39:45 KRSM, yeah. Yeah, and they're the ones who got it from the original wholesaler of the oil and apparently didn't pay, according to the lawsuit. So the head of this company, KRSM and his company have disputed the allegations brought forth by Mansfield Oil in an emailed statement to Politico. I totally deny this. So the head of KRSM argued that this was an accounting dispute over misplaced invoices. Really $4 million worth of invoices have been misplaced, okay, not buying it. It's hard to believe that that's the case. So this is an old trick actually.
Starting point is 01:40:24 The guys who invented this trick are the Koch brothers, David and Charles Koch, and they made way more than $4 million. So they used to buy oil from Native American reservations and land. And they systematically cheated them. And they would each time measure the oil as less so they could steal an enormous amount of oil. And then they didn't, it didn't get notice until a long time later. And by that time, they'd already become spectacularly wealthy off the oil that they'd stolen. That allowed them to come up with a strategy, which actually changed American politics in a lot
Starting point is 01:41:00 This is why I won't get my ring sized. They're gonna, they're gonna take the stem, the gems out, they're gonna replace it with fake gems. Like this is how people get rich, okay? They scam you in scammy ways and like, you don't know it until it's too late. So the second half of the Koch brothers story is really interesting because they're like, wait, now we're gonna go to jail, we can't go to jail, we're too rich to go to jail. So they came upon a strategy. Oh, instead of bribing the prosecutors of the judge, why don't we bribe the politicians
Starting point is 01:41:30 to change the law. So the first guy they spent, gave money to was a backwater senator from Kansas named Bob Dole, who later got so much money from corrupt criminals like the Koch brothers, that he wound up being the Republican nominee for president at a later time and the Senate majority leader. So then that's when the coax realized, and then other people quickly followed afterwards, oh, just by the senators, by the politicians, that was. That way you can rig the laws in your favor so that you make the stealing legal, because
Starting point is 01:42:06 they already made bribery legal, the Supreme Court did. So since they made the bribery illegal, we could just make all of the laws that you feel like that's why loan sharking is now no longer illegal. Those are payday lenders and others. That's why Oxycontin is basically heroin, but was sold by guys in suits, because they all realize you just bribe people, the politicians. and you get everything you want. So in this case, look, the ad was hilarious in the first place because they're like,
Starting point is 01:42:36 look, guys, all the other gas now is unaffordable because we went to a war with Iran for Israel, having nothing to do with us. But if you want to pay the old prices and be nostalgic for when we served our country instead of Israel, you can come to freedom fuel where you get the prices you used to be able to get before this nonsense war ever started. That's a great way of framing it because it's totally true and accurate. Yeah, absolutely. And by the way, obviously everything needs to be proven in court. You're innocent until proven guilty.
Starting point is 01:43:10 However, if you look at history, turns out that KRSM has gotten hit with massive fines for doing exactly what they've been accused of doing in this case. Many times before. Many times before. So Syed Cosmi and his brother, Shamki Cosmi, control at least 14 of the stations in this network through their companies. However, they've been sued in the past
Starting point is 01:43:38 for doing the exact same thing. In February, a federal judge in New Jersey ordered the Cosmes to pay over $600,000 to a fuel supplier that accused the brothers of stealing gas. The supplier alleged in court filings that it cut the brothers off after they refused to sign a new contract. contract, but the Cosmeys exploited a security lapse and gained access to the suppliers'
Starting point is 01:44:00 fuel depot. They've got some balls on them, that's for sure. Yeah, well, it could be just a coincidence that they've been accused of this multiple times, or they might have read the stories about the Koch brothers and thought, we'll just take some of the ill-gotten proceeds and use it to buy off politicians and other folks. And nowadays, judges run for office. Prosecutors run for office so you can just do money in politics and buy them. So you just take a small portion, give it back to the corrupt guys.
Starting point is 01:44:32 Now we don't know how they're going to be adjudicated. We don't know if they stole anything, let alone enough to have enough left over for the bribes to get them out. I guess we're just going to have to wait and see. We have become a country that seems to incentivize criminality, scammers, thieves, robbers, all sorts of maladjusted, terrible people, those are the people who get rewarded by our government. Yeah, and if you're a hardworking American citizen who earns a wage for a living, the government will pick your pockets and waste that money on anything other than improving your life. That's the country we live in right now.
Starting point is 01:45:08 So usually Donald Trump pardons guys like this is part. Like it is a stunning number of fraud cases. But if it goes to the justice system, I trust the justice system so far, not the Supreme Court, but the rest of the justice system. And so we'll find out guys. We could all reserve judgment on these guys and anyone we report on until the court adjudicates this mess. And maybe it was all a giant misunderstand.
Starting point is 01:45:33 Right. Several times of. All right, when we come back from the break, we'll talk about how the Wall Street Journal, despite all of the pain and suffering, ordinary Americans are experiencing economically, they believe that corporate America's profits are booming, so everything is great. Good times ahead, we'll be right back. At tyot.com, we've got Haba Mustafa 92 says, you're my favorite part of the day, guys. Well, that's a lovely thing to say, thank you.
Starting point is 01:46:25 Theater goddess says people are enraged, but we aren't protesting because it seems pointless. After the Occupy Wall Street movement and Black Lives Matter protest didn't really do anything, protesting doesn't seem to be an effective option. I hear you on that, and I'm also frustrated by it, but there's a second reason that nobody tells you about. I once mentioned it, but I'll come back to it now. A lot of the groups who organize a protest are in D.C. And they are deeply connected to Democratic leadership. And Democratic leadership doesn't want you protesting the war.
Starting point is 01:46:55 And they most definitely do not want you protesting Israel. So those groups are never, ever going to organize a protest against Israel. Not going to happen. Okay. So just so you know how controlled everyone is, sorry to depress you. Okay, but I job is to give you the truth. Aussie Andy 127 says you look lovely today Anna. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:47:15 James Mandelor says, Jenk looks right too, laid back with the open collar. Oh, okay. No, thank you James, appreciate it. Nani Dragon says, and yet NBC anchors will still support Israel and use their talking points. Guaranteed, very next day, probably later in the day. Glass onion, I spent $45 filling my mini today.
Starting point is 01:47:35 This is some bowl, you know the rest. Francis Stardust says, Hegsith is a puppet, Nenia, who is running the war. Trump is owned by the Epstein Files. We need accountability. Yep. Reney-Marie Anderson-Glen says Trump is determined to ruin everything about America from manufacturing to farming complete bankruptcy. Turks, Jane and Anna with you guys.
Starting point is 01:48:18 Also, a Titan of Olympus O'3, who's back from vacation. Good to have you. Box and Women AF, all TYT stalwarts, gifting five memberships apiece on YouTube. We love you guys. Let's do our next story. Americas are making record profits, if you believe, the Wall Street Journal. There's one big problem. They're sitting on a giant House of Cards.
Starting point is 01:48:39 So first, we're gonna tell you how excited the Wall Street Journal is about the economy. I don't, you might not know this, but they think the economy is doing great. And then we'll tell you why it might not be, Anna. The economy is doing so poorly that the head of the Federal Reserve is considering raising interest rates to try to tackle and inflation. But on the other hand, the Wall Street Journal notes in one of their latest pieces that corporate America's profits are booming and signal more good times ahead. The subheadline tariff refunds, which by the way, consumers paid but won't get a dime of, we paid the tariffs, okay, but the corporate, the corporations are the ones that are going to get the tariff
Starting point is 01:49:28 refunds. Tariff refunds and the ever resilient U.S. consumer are fueling the heftiest rise in big company profits in years. Now they don't note that consumer spending is up because of inflation, and that most Americans can't afford it, so they're putting their needs on credit cards. But I digress, let's get into the excerpts of this article. Across S&P 500 companies, per share earnings soared 53% in the second quarter from a year earlier, earlier, while sales rose nearly 16% according to data from the LSEG. S&P 500 earnings rose the most since fall of 2021.
Starting point is 01:50:13 Quarterly sales also climbed more, by the way, let's just pause for a second. Oh wow, profits increased compared to since 2021. What happened in the fall of 2021? What was going on in the fall of 2021? But anyway, all right. Sorry, and sales also climbed more than they have in years by a nearly two to one margin. More companies raised their profit guidance for the current quarter than lowered it. So let's break down what's actually going on here, okay?
Starting point is 01:50:43 So we'll start with the tariff refunds, which again, it's all about giving corporations or companies refunds for the tariffs that were forced upon us all by the Trump administration. Some companies such as Dollar General and Walmart are choosing to pass some of those refunds on to their customers in the form of discounts, so good, at least they're doing something. But those companies are an exception rather than the rule, and as the Wall Street Journal puts it, at many companies, the refunds flowed primarily to the bottom line rather than into lower prices for shoppers. So how is this a good economy for ordinary Americans?
Starting point is 01:51:27 It's not, but I guess that doesn't matter at all to the writers over at the Wall Street Journal. So then there's consumer spending. American companies are, for the most part, claiming that their sales are going up. But right about here is where the cracks start to show. So again, from the Wall Street Journal. A booming stock market and high home values are helping many shoppers keep spending, even as plenty of others struggle to absorb rising prices.
Starting point is 01:51:54 And guess what? Voters are actually pretty furious about inflation, and they should be. I think they're not angry enough. So here's Harry Enten expressing what Americans are feeling. Take a look. Independence on Trump and inflation. In August of 2024, look at that. He was more trust than inflation by 12 points over Kamala Harris.
Starting point is 01:52:13 A very big reason that he won. Look at this net approval rating now, though. Whoa, way down there. We're talking about what is that? We're talking about a 76 point switcheroo. What's the top issue for independence right now? It's inflation at 38%. And you look at what number two is it's the economy,
Starting point is 01:52:30 very closely related at 14%. We're talking more than 50% of the public either saying inflation of the economy. And then the Iran war is three at 10%, which also has a lot to do with inflation. And if you're wondering, well, if inflation's a problem, But Americans are spending more. How are they making that happen? How are they making it work?
Starting point is 01:52:51 One more video for you and then we'll hear from Jank. Consumer spending, where is the money coming from? Americans swiping the plastic going on to credit card debt. That is largely what's keeping the engine of the US economy running right now. So record credit card debt, inflation is crushing Americans. But hey, Jank, corporate profits on the up and up, that's all that matters. So there's a couple of interesting parts of the story. So number one, Wall Street Journal being totally oblivious to the rest of the country. And this happens all the time in media,
Starting point is 01:53:25 because almost everybody in mainstream media has money in the stock market and is generally wealthy. Certainly the editors are and the publishers are, right? So when they see the market now past 53,000, they're like, it's never been better. And from a stock market valuation point of view, that's true, right? And they look at these giant corporate profits and they go, this is amazing and wonderful. Why? Because they own and run corporations, right? Or they're the executives in those giant corporations. But what they don't realize is that the corporation is doing that well these days is inversely proportional to how well we do. It's not an accident that they're making record profits at the same time as Trump having a minus 60.
Starting point is 01:54:12 percent approval with independence on inflation because they're making record profits because they're passing all the costs onto us. That's why we have the inflation and the rising prices. And Anna's right, the one time we were supposed to get money back because the tariffs turned out to be illegal, they're like, oh, that's a great excuse to take even more money, taxpayer money, and just gift it to those same corporations who passed the cost onto you in the first place, right? Who screwed you the first time? Now they're not going to give you the money back. And then what drives me crazy is in some of the articles when they say, and surprisingly,
Starting point is 01:54:50 most of the corporations did not pass that back on in cost savings to the consumers. Oh, was that a surprise? Oh, come on, man, if you're a reporter writing this story and you're still surprised by that, please retire, it's embarrassing, right? Of course the corporations kept 100% of the tariff refunds that we paid. The whole thing was an excuse to funnel more money to them in the first place. So the better they do these days because of how they rig the rules, the worse we do. That is why the country is enraged about the state of the economy and the people in power are ecstatic. They couldn't be happier.
Starting point is 01:55:29 And guys, you've seen me on the show talk about these two runaway freight trains set for a head-on collision. The establishment in the populace. The country is livid over the Iran war, over inflation, over the corruption. None of our politicians ever serve us. And now we realize it, right? So we're headed towards you've got to change us. Otherwise, we're in a fury. But the establishment isn't moving an inch.
Starting point is 01:55:55 Why? Because they don't even understand there's a problem. They're like, what do you mean? These are the best of times. We're all stinking rich. So rich, we're writing articles rubbing it in your face. Record profits and more of your money funnel to us. Right. And they brag about it. And so they're not going to change anything. They couldn't be happier. In regard to the Fed now considering raising interest rates in September, okay, there's going to be a September Fed meeting, there's going to be an announcement, whether they're going to keep the rates the same, or raise the rates.
Starting point is 01:56:30 Okay, I was listening to the CNBC today and, you know, they're trying to speculate on what the decision is gonna be by the Fed. And one of their analysts started bragging about the increased unemployment rate and how likely it is that it will discourage the Fed from increasing interest rates. Like they, Jake, you're wrong. It's not that the Wall Street Journal is disconnected, they're totally unaware of what ordinary Americans are dealing with. They look at what ordinary Americans, what workers are dealing with in this economy, and they jump in it, they love it, they revel in it. Because this system of
Starting point is 01:57:09 inequality helps those at the very top. And that's who the Wall Street Journal serves. Let me give you a sense of just how lopsided this economic situation really is. So you look at the stock market, that's all they care about. Oh, stock markets do so well the stock market, that's stock market. Keep interest rates low. Stock market, stock market. Okay. So 87% of the stocks in the stock market are owned by Americans who are earning $100,000 or more per year. You'll be shocked to find that the vast majority of Americans do not earn $100,000 or more per year. Okay? The top 1% of Americans hold more equity value than the entire bottom 90% combined in the stock market.
Starting point is 01:57:55 Yep. So when they talk about how great the economy is because the stock market is performing well, they're only talking about something that overwhelmingly benefits the top 1%, but also like the top 10% of the country. The rest, you guys can just F off, who cares? Enjoy your low wages or your unemployment. Maybe you'll get UBI, maybe at some point in the future. But in the meantime, F off.
Starting point is 01:58:22 So I want to clarify two things that are important in that. So you might be wondering, wait, why do they love higher unemployment on Wall Street? Well, if you have high unemployment, you're worried about needing to stimulate the economy so more jobs will get, more people will get hired, right? So you won't want to raise the interest rates because raising the interest rates cools off their economy because it's overheating. The prices are going up too high, too quickly, right? So, but why does Wall Street care so much about the interest?
Starting point is 01:58:55 interest rate because the interest rate is the percentage that you get charged. That is your baseline, right? In order to have an investment that's successful, you have to then make above that baseline. And the more you move up the baseline, the harder it is for an investment to make money beyond the baseline. So what that does is it discourages investment, the higher the interest rate is. So what is the stock market? Investment, it's a vehicle for investments.
Starting point is 01:59:25 So you'll have less investments into the stock market and into private companies if there's a higher interest rate. So but if there's a high interest rate, the only way that they, or if there's higher inflation, the only reason the Fed wouldn't raise the interest rate is if there's also high unemployment. So that's why they're like, yes, more people are losing their jobs. That way they won't raise the interest rates, that way we'll have more investments juicing up the economy in the stock market. One of the main reasons why the Fed increases the interest rate is.
Starting point is 01:59:55 is to cause more unemployment to basically deal with the demand side of the economy, to basically handle an inflationary environment. Yeah. It's sick. Like the way the system works is kind of sick. I understand the need for balance and I understand the need to make sure inflation doesn't get out of control and that unemployment doesn't get out of control and to find the right balance. But these days we've lost any sense of balance.
Starting point is 02:00:20 All that anybody cares about is what do the richest people in the country want? and everyone else can pound sand. And more accurately, it's not even the richest people. It's the richest people that are donating to politicians, right? If you're super rich and you're not a donor, they don't care about you either. They just care about their benefactors, the people who are literally give them millions of dollars. That's not complicated. Anybody could figure that out.
Starting point is 02:00:46 But the reporters these days are either complete liars, as Anna is suggesting, or they're like, their brains are frozen. They don't know how to do reporting at all. They're not teaching reporting anymore. The editors are not asking for reporting. That's why they'll do a story like this and go, oh, I wonder if the economy isn't great for some people because Donald Trump is at minus 32, 33, 34 on the economy when he used to be in positive territory with independence on inflation, is at minus 64.
Starting point is 02:01:17 I wonder if Americans are not happy with this. Generally, you know, the population is not happy. with this population, with this development. But for reporters in New York and DC now, they've stopped asking that question. Journalism, they don't care about you at all. You don't even enter their minds. They just go, stock market, rich people doing great, great, I write article about how wonderful it is and how the economy is amazing.
Starting point is 02:01:40 Yeah, all right, well, we gotta go, so. Okay, all right, guys, I'm gonna talk to Karizhima Manzoor running a really important race in New Hampshire next, so stay right here. And then I forgot to tell you about a poll real quick.
