You're listening to The Young Turks, the online news show.
Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars.
You're awesome. Thank you.
All right, welcome to the young church,
you were Anna Gasparian.
This is what I'm supposed to say live from the Polymarket Studio in LA, but we're
not in the Polymarket Studio right now because I'm sick, so we're from our home studios.
But nevertheless, God bless those guys.
All right, so big stories ahead, unfortunately, more bad.
news out of Israel. I know what's new. So I don't want to depress you with that. We do
have to do the news and you do have to, you know, get caught up on it for sure. We do, as always,
we will have many lighter moments in the show. And we do a show that's different than everybody
else's. So today we're going to talk about K-pop stars and some of the controversies
surrounding them because the world is larger than just the small number of topics that people talk
about in politics. So we have the important updates for you guys on everything, including the
Trump trial, more missing documents. He's unreal, as always, right? So we got them all for you,
light ones, serious ones, and every topic you could imagine. So Anna, let's get started.
Well, I wanted to start the show off today by discussing some of the updates in regard
to humanitarian aid that is not getting into Gaza. And it's certainly helping with the
case that the ICC is building. So let's get into those details. It appears that officials in
Israel are really helping the international criminal court build its case against Israeli officials
for blocking humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip because there are some pretty big stories
in the news today regarding how there's evidence of authorities from Israel colluding with
settlers to essentially share details about the location of humanitarian aid convoys so the
settlers can attack them. There's also evidence indicating that Israeli officials do not want
authorities to essentially protect the humanitarian aid convoys as they're attempting to get to
Gaza. And we've got some pretty brutal announcements by the United Nations about how they are
halting the distribution of food within Gaza. So why don't we start off with an insane story
reported by the Guardian. In an exclusive report, the Guardian found that members of the Israeli
security forces, including police and members of the IDF, are tipping off settlers about the
location of aid convoys so settlers can basically attack them. And we have seen footage of
settlers attacking aid trucks and aid convoys. There was a recent example out of the West Bank.
You're watching a video of humanitarian aid convoys that had been set on fire by Israeli settlers.
And so the Guardian was able to review internal internet chat groups as well as accounts from
witnesses and human rights activists. And they found that there is absolutely evidence of
collusion here. So let's go to some of the graphics, including this statement from Rachel
Tautu, who is a spokesperson for the Israeli group known as Tzab 9. She said that the group had been
blocking trucks as they made their way through Israel since January on the grounds that
the aid they carried was hijacked by Hamas once it reached Gaza. Now this is a talking point
that is repeated by the United States, although there's been no evidence to prove that that's
the case. We have seen endless videos of Palestinians desperately trying to get humanitarian aid
from these convoys. That kind of footage exists. There's no indication that Hamas comes in,
steals the aid, and then tries to sell it to Palestinians. Now, Rachel Tautu also says that
when a policeman or soldier's mission is supposed to protect Israelis, and instead he is sent to
protect humanitarian aid convoys, knowing it will end up in the hands of Hamas, we cannot blame
them or civilians who notice the trucks passing by their towns for providing intel to groups
trying to block that aid. Yes, some of our intel comes from individual members of Israeli forces,
she said. And by the way, she also continues to say that Israel has been delivering the
humanitarian aid without expecting anything in return. Okay, I'm going to, I'm going to,
I'm going to pause right there. What kind of statement is that? What kind of statement is that?
What do you want powerless, Palestinian civilians in Gaza to give you in return for life-saving humanitarian aid that has been effectively blocked by Israel?
And now we're hearing word that you have security forces colluding with settlers in order to attack those aid convoys as they attempt to enter the Gaza Strip.
Anyway, let me read the rest of it to you.
And 80% of the population agrees with our stance.
That's actually true, unfortunately.
She continues, Hamas is reselling this aid to civilians, which is meant to be distributed for free.
We will continue to block this humanitarian aid until they can prove that it is reaching the civilians.
I mean, I think maybe there needs to be some evidence that Hamas is intercepting this humanitarian aid and that it's not getting to Palestinians.
The main reason why the aid's not getting to Palestinians is because of Israel blocking the aid.
And then they'll turn around, have some of their spokespeople go on national television and gaslight the American people into thinking that no, no, no, they're totally allowing aid to enter the Gaza Strip with no problems whatsoever.
Obviously, that's not the case.
Now, Ben Gavir also wants authorities who are doing their jobs in protecting the aid trucks to essentially stop doing that.
I'll give you the details on that element of the story in just a moment.
But, Jank, really curious to hear what you think so far.
I think anyone stopping humanitarian aid from reaching starving human beings is disgusting.
I think they're the worst people on earth.
And there is absolutely no excuse for it.
So first of all, they say, we shouldn't let any aid into starving babies and children,
because until the starving people can prove,
somehow prove that Hamas is not stealing it.
How are they going to prove that?
What proof would Israeli forces and maniacal Israeli settlers accept?
They would accept no proof.
They would just say, oh, you're Palestinians.
We discount everything you say, you're all liars.
That's why we're starving you in the first place.
You deserved it.
And by the way, if you ever dare accuse us of doing anything wrong, we'll say you're the hateful ones.
Now go starve to death, go starve to death because you're hateful, not me.
No, those settlers doing that action right there and the Israeli forces helping them, the very, very worst people on earth.
And so the second thing is, even if it were true, so let's say we're trying to get aid to starving Jews in concentration camp.
And we find out that the Polish guards or whoever is stealing some of the food.
Does that mean we shouldn't you send them any food at all? Just let them starve. Well,
I hear some portion of it is being stolen. So I don't want to help the people who are stealing
it. So let's just let them starve to death in the concentration camps. I would hope to God
that no decent human being would ever say that. But here we are having debates about whether
we should let the Palestinians starve to death because of these monstrous, monstrous
settlers, IDF, that is actively starving them to death right now. So don't tell me that it's
facts are biased against you. No, they're not. Facts are just facts. All you're doing, all the
defenders of Israel are doing is, hey, I get to ignore the facts and do whatever I want and
crush the living crap out of my opponents, as long as I can hide behind,
Oh, I bet you're biased against me.
Yeah, it's it's tired, man.
It's super tired.
Israel, like if you watched American media or, you know, not all of it,
and some of it has been good.
And we're getting a lot of these stories from good American sources of AP, New York Times, etc.
Okay.
But cable news has been atrocious.
And if you watch American politicians,
you would think that the Palestinians are occupying the Israelis.
But the Palestinians are starving to Israelis, that the Palestinians have dropped tens of thousands
of bombs that have killed 35,000 Israelis.
No, it's the reverse, it's the gaslighting that drives you crazy.
Unless of course you're Palestinian, then the gaslighting is the least of your problems.
The number one problem you have is Israeli bombs falling on your head and incinerating your
entire family alive.
The number two problem you have is if that doesn't happen, they're going to slowly starve
you to death as they're doing right now while pretending that they're the victims.
Yeah, and might I add, you know, yesterday and today, there was just wall-to-wall outrage,
both in Israel and the United States, in regard to ICC prosecutor, Karim Khan, noting that
he is seeking arrest warrants for the leadership of Hamas, for the atrocities that they clearly
committed, but also for the leadership of Israel who are starving Palestinians to death.
And the outrage is over this, what they believe is a false equivalency between the current
Israeli government and Hamas. Yeah, it is, it is. To be fair, it is a false equivalency,
because Israel has now done 30 October 7th. And if you're still in the deluded, diluted group
who says, oh, no, 24,000 dead women and children burn to death, crushed to death.
We're all an accident by the most moral army on earth.
Golly, gee, did we murder 24,000 citizens, innocent human beings, six-year-olds, two-year-olds,
84-year-olds, moms, dads, who cares?
It was all an accident.
they're so evil on the other side.
You should really be racist against Muslims.
They're violent savages, they intend to kill.
We never intend to kill.
We're just so incompetent.
We're just a bunch of buffoons who accidentally murdered 24,000 women and children.
Yes, some people actually believe that.
But the rest of us can see who has done 30 times the number of killings.
And it is Israel.
And if that hurts your feelings, go take it up with numbers.
And go tell the family members of the dead six year old that, oh, when the IDF came and murdered
her in the case of him and murdered the ambulance drivers who came to help her, that it was all
an accident.
And besides which, those dirty Muslim savages deserved it, right?
But you're the one who's suffering from bias.
Oh my God, it's not that you killed all these people and then you've done 30 October 7th.
It's that the world is against you.
If the world wasn't so biased against you,
well, then Ghali Chita would let you murder all those people and applaud you for it.
I mean, the world is currently,
with the exception of the United States, Italy,
and maybe one other Western nation is pretty much against Israel right now.
But not because of bias, not because of it.
No, no, because they're murdering people.
They're killing innocent people.
That's why they're starving people to death and they're bombing
people to death. That's why. Okay, it has nothing to do with anti-Semitism. The entire international
community was behind Israel by its side, you know, mourning the loss of innocent people on October
7th. And the current Israeli government took that goodwill and just shoved it in the trash,
absolutely shoved it in the trash, and continues to refuse to take any responsibility for its
actions. And just quickly going back to the media point that you were making, Jank,
I think every media outlet has a mix of awful reporting on this issue and instances of
excellent reporting. That does include the New York Times. That includes CNN. I was just listening
to Jake Tapper's disgraceful broadcast today where he was allowing Israeli officials to gaslight
the American people about the blockade of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, essentially
repeating the same talking points that we're hearing and reading about from
Israeli officials in this story. But let me move on to Ben-Gavir because Itamar, Ben-Gavir
was absolutely furious when he found out that there were police tasked with
guarding and protecting the humanitarian aid convoys. This is not reported by some
left-wing news organization. It's not reported by a student newspaper that's more
sensitive to the student protesters and in favor of what they're doing. No, this is
This is reported by Heretz.
And according to their reporting, the national security minister Itamar Ben-Gavir does not want
to use police to guard the aid convoys from these rabid settlers who are attacking them and lighting
them on fire.
Last week, right-wing activists demonstrating against aid transfers to Gaza, physically assaulted
two truck drivers.
Three trucks were also set on fire at the Tarkumia at Tarkumia at at Tarkumia.
and near the Kochov-Hashahar settlement.
No arrests have been made to date.
Ben-Gavir does not want the police to focus their energy on preventing those types of attacks.
A security source told Heretz that Ben-Gavir got out of his car and appeared surprised by the numerous
police officers stationed there saying, this can't be what my cops are doing.
Instead of fighting terrorism, that's not why I do what I do.
your salaries, I don't want you doing these missions.
Now, Ben-Gavir was enraged over the fact that police were assigned.
Or two different units, special police units were assigned to safeguard the aid convoys.
That includes the coastal district tactical unit and the Yoav unit.
Witnesses say that the southern district commander police major general Amir Cohen
arrived at the scene and responded to the minister's criticism saying, quote, this is a policy
decision and this is the job of the Israeli police. We are exercising our responsibility.
So look, there is a divide within the police enforcement. There are some Israelis who actually
do take what their task is seriously and they're doing what they can to protect the aid convoys.
But of those members of the police force who are doing their jobs appropriately, you have Ben Gavir coming in and saying, this is outrageous, you should be fighting terrorism, I guess, assisting us in dropping more bombs in the Gaza Strip.
Now, the UN has also noted that, well, we are running out of food and we have to suspend the distribution of food within the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations has now announced that.
They are suspending distribution to the southern Gaza city of Rafa due to the lack of supplies and insecurity.
No aid trucks entered in the past two days through the floating pier that the United States
set up to circumvent the genocidal Israeli regime.
The first 10 trucks, though, came through the pier on Friday and were taken to a World Food
Program warehouse.
A second shipment of 11 trucks on Saturday was met by crowds of hungry Palestinians
who took supplies, Palestinians, not Hamas fighters, stealing the aid, notably.
And only five trucks made it to the warehouse because Palestinians were so starving that they had distributed food or most of the supplies and food that they had before they could even get to the warehouse.
And while Rafa was evacuated somewhat for Israel's latest bombing campaign in the southern town, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are thought to still be there as the bombardments take place.
Jank.
Yeah, as always, we're going to be fair.
Israel's not a monolithic, cops that are trying to protect their food convoy.
Thank you, that's great and the right thing to do.
Ben-Gavir is literally convicted of supporting terrorism.
He's literally said that Gaza should, the Palestinians should be pushed out of Gaza.
That is a call for a very, very literal ethnic cleansing and genocide.
He's a monster, he's one of the worst terrorists of my lifetime.
So Smotrich who said that all Palestinians should be annihilated.
That's not a call for genocide, that's a call for a Holocaust.
That's a sitting Israeli cabinet member.
The Israeli government is disgusting.
Not all Israelis, not all Israeli governments,
but this current right-wing government of Israel is monstrous.
If you're hiding behind charges of anti-Semitism to protect these monsters, you're being deeply immoral.
They're not, this is not a rhetorical game, guys.
Those Palestinians are actually starving.
And every bomb actually incinerates the people underneath the bomb.
It lights little children on fire, burns them to death.
That's not a rhetorical thing.
It actually happens.
It's happened to 35,000 people.
And it's happening to more right now.
And so Israel told outrageous lies about UNRWA.
Has any of our press corrected all of their false reporting about UNRWA?
Now UNRWA, why are they have limited resources?
They're out of money because we cut off their funding.
The sick barbaric politicians in America gorging on AIPAC bribes, legalized bribes by
APEC, who are the most soulless immoral cowards I have ever seen, all go out there and go,
yes, cut off funding to UNRWA, starve the Palestinians to death.
And if anybody accuses anybody of Israel or doing anything wrong, just lie and lie and lie.
and call them all anti-Semites and terrorists and pro Hamas and arrest them and make sure there's
no protest of Israel. This is disgusting what they're doing. So I don't know, after they starve
how many more people to death, they'll come up with new excuses and they'll blame the Palestinians
again for their own occupation. Do you know who's morally responsible for an occupation?
The occupier, not the occupied. Well, hey, we offered to give them 45% back of the land
and they didn't take it. So we get the occupying for another 50 years. Oh, well, they didn't
take this deal. They didn't, oh, we didn't like how they were talking about us. They don't love us,
they don't love us. Star from their death, starve them to death, and blame unrued,
because they're trying to bring them food. They're trying to bring them food. Let's just lie about
Unrun, pretend they're working with Hamas. What's your evidence, Israel? Zero. The UN says zero.
America says zero. Every reporter that's reported on it says zero. They have no evidence of it.
But unrose out of money, Israel's blocking the ports of entry. Whichever ports are open,
the settlers are attacking at the encouragement of the Israeli cabinet. And no one in the world,
look, all of our hearts pry out for the Palestinians. And I'm going to say something that's
outrageous in American media. You ready? The Palestinians are heroes. And one,
Once they get their independence, God knows how long it'll take.
The world will turn around and say, can you believe what they suffered?
Can you believe what they went through and persevered?
They persevered through the most sickening assault and siege that we have seen in our lifetime.
And the American media has been lying about them my entire life, painting the occupied,
the victims, five and a half million people, bruising.
Oppressed and humiliated every single day painted as terrorists and savages and the violent ones.
No, the people doing the occupation are the violent ones.
The people dropping the bombs and murdering tens of thousands of people are the violent ones.
It is not based on any religion or ethnic background or any of that guys, it's a power dynamic.
dynamic, the powerful almost always oppressed, the powerless. Do not let American media and
politicians gaslight you into believing that Israel is the powerless. America is the powerless.
They're poor little David against the Goliath of the Palestinians. The Palestinians have
almost no, they're the most powerless people on earth. And all they have had against them is not
not only violence, occupation, and oppression, but this sickening propaganda as if they are the aggressors.
They are the guilty ones. They are the violent ones. No, I'm here to break the gaslighting.
They are the ones who are victimized. They are the ones oppressed. They are the ones starved.
They are the ones butchered, butchered in Gaza.
So that's the reality, that is 100% true.
And anyone telling you otherwise is doing brazen propaganda on behalf of the glorious Israel
that can never be criticized based on this sickening mythology and propaganda here in America
from American politicians that are almost completely bought by APEC.
And that is a stone cold fact, I can show you every number associated with.
Oh no, you can't say that. Even though it's obviously true, you can't say that because it would be
criticizing the beloved almighty Israel. I don't think Israel's almighty. I think it is a government.
And a government always does things that are wrong. And this government is totally unaccountable.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. It is a thing that is related to all
human beings. And right now Israel is completely corrupted. What they're doing is horrible. And they are
definitely the ones that are the oppressors. And they're the ones there that is wrong in this
completely. They should stop the bombing, stop the occupation immediately. And if they don't,
it is a deeply, deeply immoral act by the government of Israel.
All right, we're going to take a brief break. We'll be back with more news.
all right back on t y t yank and a paul peabody harold the hatter uh and they just joined by hitting the join button guys you guys are the best look we got no powerful people

with what we got. Box, thank you for gifting your membership. Jesse gifted five. Larry Miller
gifted 20. You guys are all the best. We appreciate you. Anna. Well, let's talk a little bit about
what it's like to do journalism in Israel or attempt to do journalism in Gaza. Israel's assault
on reporters and journalism continues with the latest debacle involving Israeli officials
seizing a camera and broadcasting equipment belonging to the Associated Press in Gaza.
They had a live stream set up. The live stream simply showed what the horizon look like
as Israel continued its aerial bombardments of the Gaza Strip. Now officials with Israel's
communications ministry went to the town of Siddharat and they decided, we're going to seize the
equipment. We don't, we don't like what this live stream is revealing about our military
operations in Gaza. The Israeli communications minister Shlomo, Kari, ordered the equipment
taken from the AP. So let's give you some more details here. The Israeli communications ministry
accused the news organization of violating a new media law by providing images to Al Jazeera.
The Qatari satellite channel is one of thousands of AP customers,
and it receives live video from the Associated Press and other news organizations.
See, something that maybe Israeli officials didn't know is that the Associated Press isn't simply a journalistic platform.
It's a wire service. A lot of different media organizations,
will license content from the Associated Press in the form of video, footage, photos,
and they'll use it in their own reporting.
And I guess some of that footage or maybe some of the photos were licensed by Al Jazeera for their own reporting,
and that rubbed Israeli officials the wrong way.
Now, Israel closed down the offices of Al Jazeera on May 5th,
and they also confiscated its equipment, banned the channel's broadcasts, and blocked its weather.
websites, Netanyahu has called Al Jazeera a, this is hilarious, terror channel that spreads incitement.
Now, the seizure of the AP's equipment follows a verbal order Thursday to cease the live transmission,
which the news organization refused to do. They weren't doing anything wrong.
Shortly before the equipment was seized, it was broadcasting a general view of northern Gaza.
The AP compiles the, with, I'm sorry, the AP complies with.
Israel's military censorship rules, which prohibit broadcasts of details like troop movements
that could endanger soldiers. The live shot was generally shown, basically would show
like smoke rising over the territory, kind of showing the aftermath of some of the aerial
bombardments. Now, AP obviously condemned the move, saying that the Associated Press decries in
the strongest terms, the actions of the Israeli government to shut down our longstanding live
feed showing a view into Gaza and seize AP equipment. The shutdown was not based on the content of
our feed, but rather an abusive use by the Israeli government of the country's new foreign
broadcaster law. We urge the Israeli authorities to return our equipment and enable us to
reinstate our live feed immediately so we can continue to provide this important visual
journalism to thousands of media outlets around the world. I should also note that journalists,
broadly speaking, have been banned from even entering the Gaza Strip.
Hundreds of journalists who are already within Gaza have been killed from Israel's aerial
bombardments. I'm sure many of you have noticed that the death toll of Palestinians has
stood at 35,000 for a few weeks now. We aren't getting updated death toll numbers, and I think
that's very much on purpose. Now, the AP is also reporting that U.S. officials privately urged
Netanyahu's office to return the seized equipment to the associated press, and it appears that
that has happened. They have returned it. So here's a comment from the Israeli communications
minister Shlomo Kari, who says, since the Ministry of Defense wishes to examine the matter of
the broadcast from these locations in Surat, regarding the risk of our forces, I have now
ordered the cancellation of the operation and return the equipment to the Associated Press
until a different decision is made by the Ministry of Defense. And so, yeah, they're they've
returned or they're going to return the equipment after they got some pressure allegedly
from the Biden administration. But I don't think this is the end of their assault on journalists.
Journalists are unfortunately, like unfortunately for them reporting, you know, some of their
behavior, which is leading to criticism internationally.
And they don't want that.
So they would rather squash the journalist like any shining democracy in the Middle East would, right?
Yeah.
So I guess there's two different theories on this.
Let's see which one you believe, okay?
One, so first let me tell you the facts, Israel has killed 105 journalists so far in this conflict.
That is a record in modern history.
And it is more than all the journalists killed in all other conflicts in the world combined.
And remember, Russia invaded Ukraine.
And the Russians are not overly kind in their invasion, okay?
And okay, so the two theories are, one is the IDF is the most moral army in the world.
So every one of those was an accident.
Oops, they just happened to set the record.
They just happened to kill all those journalists on accident, more than all the other journalists killed in all other.
conflicts. It was all an accident. Because by definition, if it's Israel, they're moral.
So there you have it. The other theory is they don't want Gaza being covered because
they're butchering the people of Gaza. Seventy percent of the buildings are destroyed.
90 percent of the people are homeless. Every time you look at a picture or video of Gaza,
it's Israel dropping a massive bomb. They've destroyed, for example, out of the hundreds of
of examples. They've destroyed every university in Gaza. Why? I mean, here in America,
there was all this hubbub about, oh my God, there's peace protesters at a university. And some of them
have criticized Israel. So, oh, we shut them all down. Oh my God, it's the anti-Semites who are
against education or something. Meanwhile, Israel has destroyed literally every piece of higher
education in Gaza. Congressional hearings, giant media coverage, nothing, nothing, nothing,
nothing, right? Okay, so the other theory is that Israel doesn't want you to see their barbaric
actions in Gaza. That's why they keep shutting down different journalism organizations, anyone that
could bring you the news, and if they can't shut them down enough, they just kill them.
But of course, the counter to that is, well, they haven't killed every reporter there.
Wow, I didn't know they were that merciful.
So you make such a great point.
I'm sure all 105 were axes.
Shereen Abwakle, an American reporter, shot in the neck before any of this even began.
It's clearly assassinated.
And they assassinated an American reporter, just like the Saudis killed an American reporter, right?
We went nuts when the Saudis killed an American reporter because we should.
They dismember the poor guy, their butcher in Riyadh, right?
But Netanyahu and the Israeli government assassinates an American reporter, barely a peep.
So yeah, of course they shut down the AP video and they'll keep shutting down more and more news because that's what fascist governments do.
And Netanyahu's right wing government has cabinet ministers that are calling for the total annihilation of the Palestinians in Gaza.
Well, if that's not fascist, then the word fascist doesn't mean anything.
So, but there are real dangerous terrorists here, and they're inside the Israeli government.
All right, last thing is Jaira Lepid is the left-wing opponent to Netanyahu, and he
forcefully attacked the Israeli government, in criticism, obviously, saying that this is not
what Israel stands for.
Israel stands for free press, and historically it has.
Historically, it has a terrific free press, but not under this fashion.
government. So I encourage the forces within Israel to remember what the country was supposed to be
about and to get back to that instead of this horrible turn it's taken.
We come back from the break. We'll get off the topic of Israel and focus a little bit on
domestic politics, notably some updates on the classified documents debacle involving
Donald Trump, some unsealed court documents worthy of getting into when we come back.

Those are super fun handles that just join. We appreciate you guys.
Every person, you know, our audience member just said, no, we are the powerful.
You're right. This audience is too strong. That's why we're
among the two or three remaining digital media companies in all of America
because our audience is too strong.
G.D. Wig 60, thank you for joining it through t.com slash team. Anna.
All right. According to new documents unsealed today, former President Donald Trump's
attorneys found additional classified documents in his bedroom four months after the FBI
searched Mar-a-Lago. It just doesn't end. Okay, look, I have to say,
before I give you more details to the story, isn't it a bit of a problem that the FBI didn't find
the additional classified documents when they raided Mar-a-Lago? Like, what kind of rate is this?
What kind of rate is this? But anyway, because of these newly unsealed court documents,
we have some more details. And the revelation was among several cited by the U.S. District Judge
Beryl Howell in a newly unsealed 2023 opinion that found prosecutors had presented compelling evidence.
that Trump knowingly stashed national security documents in his home and then tried to conceal them
when the Justice Department tried to retrieve them because he's his own worst enemy. He can't help
himself. Literally, all he needed to do was just return the documents. He wouldn't have been
raided. He wouldn't be facing a trial as a result of this. To be fair, he might not ever
face a trial because of his very successful delay tactics. And should he get elected, he could
dismiss the case. We'll get to that in a moment. Now, Trump's lawyers,
carried out at least two more rounds of subsequent searches of Trump's properties following the
August 22 Mar-Lago raid, including searches of Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster,
the Trump Tower, Mar-Lago, and then storage units and other offices. The additional classified
materials were found at an off-side office storage unit and Mar-a-Lago, specifically a box with four
documents, including classified materials, was found in Trump's closet at Marlago.
An empty folder and a mostly empty folder marked classified evening summary was found in Trump's
bedroom at Marlago, Howell noted, remarking, no excuse is provided as to how the former
president could miss the classified marked documents found in his own bedroom at Marlago.
Additionally, in a footnote, Howell also noted that another Trump advisor connected to his Save America pack had acknowledged scanning the contents of the box that contained the classified materials in 2021 and storing them on a personal laptop provided by the pack. That's also new information that we were not privy to until today. Trump's office provided the box that contained the four
records to the FBI in January of last year, January of 2023.
Howell noted that they did that. Now, according to Howell's ruling, Trump purposely obstructed
the government's investigation after it subpoenaed him to turn over all the remaining classified
documents in his possession, saying the government sufficiently demonstrated Trump violated
the obstruction statute by showing he intentionally concealed the existence of additional documents,
bearing classification markings from his attorneys.
So far, over 11,000 White House documents have been recovered from Mar-a-Lago, more than 100 of which have classified markings.
So that's the update.
But, Jenk, as we know, the judge has agreed to indefinitely delay this trial.
And should Trump get elected, he can just dismiss it.
And it's over with, so.
Yep.
So look, here's one thing you learn covering the news.
Almost everyone is biased.
And unfortunately, the great majority of people,
it's nearly impossible to pull them out of their bias,
no matter which side they're on of anything.
So in this case, for the MAGA guys, I mean, what do you need?
So he takes home an unbelievable number of documents.
It wasn't like Republicans and Democrats in the past,
Oh, they took home a box. They took home two boxes. What the hell did they do that for?
Hey Mike Pence, Joe Biden, whoever the hell, give it back.
Oh, Hillary Clinton, you burn those emails. So we're honest, we're unbiased.
We go, what the hell did Hillary Clinton do that for? That was terrible, don't do that, right?
And there should be appropriate consequences, et cetera.
When it comes to Trump, he takes home more than anyone else.
All the people who said, oh my God, Hillary Clinton, lock her up, lock her up.
No, don't lock him up, even though he took home more.
He took home home way more top secret information.
Way more classified there. He lets him lie around in Mar-a-Lago, in bathrooms, in ballrooms,
unlocked, right? The top secrets of the United States government. Nope, I don't care, I don't care,
I don't care, I don't care, I don't care. The FBI asked him multiple times over and over,
please, Mr. President, please give it back. We know you have it. Please, please give it back
already. What are you keeping it for? No, no, no, no. And then they go and raid his house,
and as is they suspected, it's all there. Like, not all, but a lot of it is there.
They were 100% right.
It's not like they raided the house and they found nothing.
No, they found everything or a lot of it, right?
Nope, doesn't convince Maga.
Nope, nope, nope, nope.
I don't see it.
I don't say it.
All right.
So, okay, I know he's an angel.
He's an angel.
He's the one angel, right?
All right.
Now, look, best case scenario is, when in this case, by the way,
if I classify documents in his bedroom that he still didn't.
turn over after the FBI raid.
Nope, not, not, no, no, then no,
yop, no, angel.
Okay, fine.
So you got two choices.
Either Donald Trump is the dumbest man alive.
Why?
Why would you keep the top cut?
Of course you're going to get raided.
Of course you're going to get brought to court.
If you keep the top secret information when you're not supposed to keep it.
Of course.
So is he the dumbest, dumbest man in America?
Who the hell would do that?
That's your best case scenario.
Your worst case scenario.
Go ahead.
Your worst case scenario is, of course he was going to sell them to the highest bidder.
Of course he was.
We don't know.
We don't know.
We don't know that.
We don't know it.
We don't know.
He probably just took it home because he's a goddamn moron.
Oh, go ahead.
Root for him to be the dumbest man in America.
Yeah, look, I just think.
I just think that these are the actions of someone who's been able to skirt responsibility for his actions for his entire life, right? So I don't think he genuinely believed that he would face prosecution for what he did. I don't think he genuinely believed that he would ever be rated as a former president. I think he was genuinely under the impression that he has complete immunity from any legal action taken against him because he was once the president of the United States.
You have to recognize that that is a
scientifically stupid thing to believe.
Of course I think that.
Of course I think that.
Of course I think that.
But he has been conditioned his entire life to think,
no consequences for my actions,
Teflon Don.
So I'm just trying to explain the psychology of a man
who had multiple opportunities
to return the classified documents
to the federal government after they asked him
multiple times to do so, but refused to do so
and ended up getting raided as a result.
So at the end of the day,
I really don't have any patience for the
victimhood mentality coming from Trump and his supporters, because again, he had multiple opportunities
to return the documents, refuse to do so, and suffer the consequences as a result, and might
never suffer the full brunt of the consequences given the fact that he's running against
a pathetically weak Democratic candidate who very likely could lose in the general election,
allowing for Trump to serve in the White House again and dismiss the case. That is the truth
of the story. Full stop. That is the reality of the situation. So.
Yeah, I just Maga, for once, just be honest for once in your life, why didn't he return
the documents? It's their time, they like they have information as sensitive as how to invade
Iran that Saudi Arabia and other countries would love to get their hands on. That might have
our sensitive information about our capabilities, let alone, uh,
other countries. Why didn't he give him back? Come on. You know he's a criminal. If the deep state
is after him, why would you keep those documents? Why would you help the deep state by keeping
documents illegally when it's super obvious that it's illegal and it's super obvious that they're
top secret because it writes top secret on the folder? Even a guy as stupid as Donald Trump
could understand that. But MAGA has no answers because they're just
as biased as everyone else.
Well, let's move on to bias on the other.
because there's a story that has been frustrating to say the least
because of how it's being exploited for political purposes,
even though, in my opinion, it was an obvious mistake.
So let's get to it.
Former President Donald Trump's sparking backlash this morning.
After a video posted to his social media account seemingly suggests
there will be a unified Reich if he wins the 2024 election.
Donald Trump wins.
What's next for America?
Those words are largely associated with Nazi German.
and Adolf Hitler's Third Reich, another name for his Nazi regime.
Well, the Democratic Party are at Donald Trump's throat this morning after his campaign reposted a video essentially referencing a united or unified Reich, which of course, we all know, invokes Hitler's Third Reich during Nazi Germany.
Now, before we get to what Trump has to say about the ad and how his opponents have reacted,
let's actually watch the full video so you have the full context of what has led to so much outrage.
What happens after Donald Trump wins? What's next for America?
The economy booms. American energy is unleashed and an end to crushing taxes.
The border is closed and the largest deportation in history is underway.
No more wars. As we focus on home, law and order is restored.
The American dream is back, and the best is yet to come.
Make America great again.
I love the inclusion of the best is yet to come, of course, reminding us all of Kimberly
Gilfoyles on Hinge speech. Anyway, now, under the big headline that says,
what's next for America, there's a smaller headline that appears to read industrial strength
significantly increased driven by the creation of a unified Reich. That looks pretty bad, right?
That looks pretty bad. Why would you include that in your ad? Well, there is an explanation for
it. And so let's get to that explanation. So it looks like whoever put this ad together
didn't actually write out those words.
So the controversial text appears to be a placeholder,
or placeholder text from a video editing template for Adobe After Effects.
So the newspaper vintage historical headlines template,
which can be downloaded as part of a subscription service,
includes the same text about World War I that was spotted in the Trump ad.
So whoever put it together apparently didn't pay close enough,
attention to edit that text from this video template that they utilize to make this pro-Trump
ad. So that's the explanation. Trump later took it down after receiving a ton of backlash over
it. It is possible whoever made it just neglected to take out the placeholder text. After the
word was spotted and called out the video did stay up for a while. So the video which was posted
at 158 p.m. Eastern time when the trial in Trump's hush money trial was at lunch.
The video was taken down Tuesday morning after existing on Trump's social media page for more than
18 hours. Now the Trump campaign said in response to the backlash that, quote, this was not
a campaign video. It was created by a random account online and reposted by a staffer who clearly
did not see the word while the president was in court. But Biden's team, of course, has
taken full advantage of the situation for campaigning purposes. Kamala Harris, for instance,
had this to say during remarks in Philadelphia at the Service Employees International Union
SEIU, of course, convention. Let's watch. This kind of rhetoric is unsurprising coming from the
former president and it is appalling and we got to tell him who we are. And once again, it shows
Our freedoms and our very democracy are at stake.
Are they? I mean, is that why you have a feeble, 81-year-old man who's doing poorly in the polls,
especially in the swing states running against the guy who serves as a threat to democracy?
Okay. And Biden has weighed in as well with the same, you know, scare tactics, fear-mongering about Trump.
You guys get the point. So, Jank, I'm curious what you have to say about this.
Yeah. So I think this is a relatively minor story because it's not Trump's ad. He reposted it. And then when it was called out, he took it down. So it's not the biggest deal in the world. Now, having said that, why is it stick? Like, so if Biden had made this mistake, Biden has a thousand problems. But being a potential fascist isn't necessarily one of them. I know, I know Republicans will say, oh, he is, he is, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, right? But like, talk of it.
the Unified Reich, Biden would never do that. So why did this story stick? Because Donald Trump
has had dinner with Nazis, Nick Fuentes and Kanye West came over, they paled around. They both
have said that Hitler's a good guy. And so, and then he said that there were good people on the
Nazi side of Charlottesville. I know, you can keep making a thousand excuses, a thousand
excuses. Can I give you another example, Jank, before you continue? Let's go to the next video.
Because you're right, like Trump doesn't do himself any favors. And so when like a mistake like
this is made and there's a real explanation for it, it's understandable why people immediately
jump on it and believe that Trump meant to like celebrate the Third Reich. So I want to give
you another example of Trump really not helping himself. They're poisoning the blood of our
country. That's what they've done. They poison mental institutions and prisons all over the world,
not just in South America, not just the three or four countries that we think about. Nobody has ever
seen anything like we're witnessing right now. It is a very sad thing for our country. It's poisoning
the blood of our country. It's so bad. And people are coming in with disease. People are coming in
with every possible thing that you can have. They're ruining our country. And it's true.
destroying the blood of our country. That's what they're doing. They're destroying our country.
They don't like it when I said that. And I never read Mein Kampf. They said, oh, Hitler said that
in a much different way. And they're destroying the blood of our country. They're destroying the
fabric of our country. So he uses rhetoric that is reminiscent of Nazi rhetoric, including
referring to political opponents as vermin. Just use other words. Like, don't you?
Don't use those words. They don't help you. But obviously, he won't take that advice.
And he keeps using the kind of language that leads these types of stories where an actual mistake
was made, you know, sticking and making headlines for a full day.
Yeah, poisoning the blood of the country's direct Nazi quote. Nobody uses poisoning
of the blood other than the Nazis. Sorry, just hasn't happened historically.
That's the, those are the guys who used it. Because it's why the blood, he's mentioned the blood like
three, four times, right? Because that's the genes of it. So the Aryans had pure genes.
And Trump in the past has talked about his pure genes. And he even once said pure German
genes. Okay, so immigrants poison the blood of the country by bringing in different gene pool
of the inferior races. And he's talked about how he wants to be dictator,
pretending that it was just for one day, blah, blah, blah. He said for one day in that one
interview but he said it in other places and he said it a hundred times how much he likes
how Kim Jong-il and Xi Jinping and other and Putin etc you see the strong men or
dictators how they command the respect of everyone yet because otherwise they get murdered
and so he said he talks positively about them all the time and and how they're listened to
and no one could ever defy them so if you go around cheerleading for dictators tell
us how great Nazis are and paling around with them, when you have a Nazi statement in your ad,
even if it's an accident, people wonder if it's an accident. So, you know, cry me a river
on, oh wow, that's a little bit unfair to Trump. Okay, fine. But here we are, we're fair,
we're not like the other media, we're not saying he did it on purpose, we're not implying he
did it on purpose, and we're telling you that he eventually did take it out. But the problem
is this is a pattern with him. And it's a very, very dangerous pattern. And if you can't see it,
you're trying not to see it. Right. And you know, I am happy that President Joe Biden
seems to take issue with rhetoric that might imply that someone would be in favor of exterminating
innocent people, you know, because Biden would never be in favor of that kind of rhetoric or that
kind of action, right? No. Like if our top so-called ally were to say from the
to the sea as he's actually wiping out a race in in that area.
I mean, it's not like Biden would send him $20 billion and go,
out boy, go keep going.
No, no, no.
No, no, Biden's the decent one in this race, right?
Biden's the moral one.
He's the good guy.
Anyway, we got to take a break.
When we come back, we've got more news for you.
We'll see what it is.
We'll be back.
