All right. or Jordan Yule with you guys on a day that is going to be a bit of an extravaganza for here for us here at Young Turks. So we got Jordan in the first hour, we got Sharon
Starting point is 00:01:40 read in the second hour, Anna Kasperi enjoys us for the third hour. What's going on? It's our 20th anniversary on YouTube. It was actually technically Sunday. We're celebrating it today, so we're going to do a look back on the 20 years at Young Turks on YouTube. We are originally the first YouTube partner and arguably the original YouTubers. So, so fun celebration today at 8 o'clock Eastern for everybody. Now, on tonight's show, of course, we celebrate the good news. Well, not so much good. So we've got Epstein fallout, what's been released, what hasn't been released, one of the consequences. We've got Israel, of course, wanting to bomb Iran again, or of course, more accurately, make us bomb Iran again.
Starting point is 00:02:27 CBS is in a state of free fall, so much more to get to. So Jordan, what do you got for us? Take a look at this. Blanche was on this morning saying then Massey and I have a problem that it's taking too long. That's not the problem. The problem is this was a slap in the face of survivors. What do they want? They want to know who are the rich and powerful men who visited Epstein's rape island and
Starting point is 00:02:51 covered up the abuse. And the key documents that our law basically said needed to be released, the 60 count indictment that actually implicates a lot of these people and the prosecution memo were not released. It's not about the timeline. It's about the selective concealment. On Friday, the Department of Justice released a fraction of the Jeffrey Epstein files replete with redactions. And now Thomas Smith-Massie and Rokana are threatening to find Attorney General Pam Bondi in contempt of Congress for violating the Epstein Transparency Act. Before we get to their threats and the excuses coming from the DOJ,
Starting point is 00:03:32 Jank, your two cents. Yeah, so a lot of you saw Rokana say that here first on the Young Turks last week, and they're really sticking to their guns here on the program. He said that not only could they do impeachment, but they could have Pam Bondi arrested with the sergeant adores. We'll get to that in a minute. But what did they release? That's the heart of this.
Starting point is 00:03:54 and what they didn't they release. As you'll soon see, not much is what they released. And I'm going to tell you what the single key thing you should be looking for in all the Epstein stories. A stone for if people are going the right direction or not, that's after Jordan gives you all the facts. So the law passed by Congress last month required the Justice Department to release all Epstein files in its possession within 30 days. But the deadline was last Friday when the DOJ only produced part of their trove of files. The law allowed for some redactions to protect victims, and there's also a carve-out for national security concerns. But many of the images and documents released so far have been heavily redacted with no explanation as to why.
Starting point is 00:04:47 More than 20 files that the Justice Department initially released were also deleted without explanation from their website. including one photo of Epstein's desk of Donald Trump posing with women in bikinis. The Justice Department later said it temporarily took down the photo over concerns that it might include images of victims, but they were posted it, quote, without any alteration after determining it didn't. Here was Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche coming up with excuses for why the DOJ isn't following the law during an interview on meet the press. Why didn't the Justice Department meet that Friday deadline? It's very simple and very and very clear. The statute also requires us to protect victims. And so the reason why we are still reviewing documents and still continuing our process is simply that to protect
Starting point is 00:05:44 victims. But content creator Aaron Parnas says that Blanche's claims are BS. He says this is not true. I have confirmation from a Jane Doe Epstein survivor that her name was not redacted in publicly released files. The DOJ redacted the names of wealthy and powerful people, but failed to redact the name of a survivor. And today, survivors of Epstein's abuse put out a blistering letter slamming the DOJ for failing to redact multiple victims' identities. So not only is the DOJ unlawfully withholding thousands of Epstein files, they're not even doing the thing that they claim was their main priority and cause for the delay, protecting the victims. And now Thomas Massey and Rokana are threatening to seek punishment for Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Starting point is 00:06:39 The quickest way, and I think most expeditious way, to get justice for these victims is to bring inherent contempt against Pam Bondi. And that doesn't really. require going through the courts. We only need the house for inherent contempt, and we're building a bipartisan coalition, and it would fine Pam Bondi for every day that she's not releasing these documents. The problem here is that there are rich and powerful people. We all know this. They're 1,200 victims.
Starting point is 00:07:06 They're rich and powerful people who either engaged in this abuse, covered it up, or were on this island. And what the American people want to know is who are these people? And instead of holding them accountable, Pam Bondi is breaking the law. And this is the corrupt system, the Epstein class that people are sick of. So I believe we're going to get bipartisan support in holding her accountable. And a committee of Congress should determine whether these redactions are justified or not. Before the Friday deadline even hit, Kana proposed these options for punishing Bondi and other DOJ officials during his interview here on TYT.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Massey and I have talked about introducing an impeachment resolution against Pambandi, where we could get Republicans breaking and supporting that if the release of the files is not in compliance with the law. Second, she could be held in inherent contempt of Congress. That means the sergeant of arms of Congress could actually arrest her and there could be a trial in Congress about whether she was transparent. And we are pursuing a number of those things. And as NPR explains, inherent contempt refers to Congress's authority to fine or arrest and then bring to trial officers who are obstructing legislative functions. It was last successfully used in the 1930s, according to the American Bar Association. Blanche said Sunday that he doesn't take seriously even a little bit threats to impeach
Starting point is 00:08:35 administration officials or hold them in contempt. Bring it on. We are doing everything we're supposed to be doing to complain. with this statute. And Congressman Massey and these other congressmen that are coming out speaking negatively about FBI director Cash Patel and the attorney general have no idea what they're talking about. Jack. Yeah. So to be fair to Blanche, he might, when he says they're just trying to protect the victims, he might mean the rich and powerful donors that have given to his boss and to all the other bosses. And he views them as the victims. Like both guys, they just abuse underage
Starting point is 00:09:12 girls. And now we're giving him a hard time and hassling them. And now you want their pictures and names? You want to prosecute it? No, poor victims. We've been trying to protect them all along. Yeah, that's what we thought, Blanche. Okay, now, what's the key that I'm talking about, where you can tell if they've released enough or not? So overall, in this particular case, it's not really a close call. I thought they might have, give us some morsels here so that they could say, well, look, we gave you that and we gave you that, and that about covers it, right? But they didn't really even do that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 People look through all the files, there's barely any new information at all. When you get to the, you know, the grand jury testimonies, the actual witnesses, the evidence, they're all redacted, right? So, okay, so, but let's assume that they had, then the next time around they put out some portions that seem interesting or relevant, maybe name some names. Well, that's really the beginning of the key. So if none of these documents ever name a single other abuser, well, then they're an obvious joke, right?
Starting point is 00:10:25 I mean, there is over a thousand girls who were abused. There are at least dozens of men who did it. And if the Justice Department doesn't release even a single name of one of them, they're obviously protecting them. And then an even bigger key is, does anyone else ever get prosecuted? And so far the Trump Justice Department has been screaming what others have also done quietly, which is no, hell no, we'll never prosecute anyone related to Epstein. They put out a statement like that, and that's what led to all this.
Starting point is 00:11:01 you know, push back from Massey and Kana, et cetera, to begin with. So now here's something we've never talked about and I think is super important for you to know. Why are they so reluctant to maybe even do a couple of sacrificial lamps, right? Oh, here, Priss Andrew, another guy, okay, let's throw them to the wolves. They don't have much power and then we'll hide behind that and say that's enough, right? Why not, you know, and why was Epstein killed? I know, I know. You're a national media reporter.
Starting point is 00:11:38 No, the cameras were out by accident in the hallway, and the guards were out by accident and coincidence. And his roommate got moved by coincidence. Okay, all right, like if you're stupid, there's nothing I can do for you. But why was Epstein killed, right, in prison? That's a hell of a thing to do. That is a giant risk for any entity to do, to go and kill someone inside a U.S. prison, somehow get the guards to go off, get the hallway video killed, make sure the U.S.
Starting point is 00:12:06 government either doesn't find out about it or covers it up for you. And in this case, we know it's a cover up because they say, oh, we didn't get the video from the hallway, that video was broken at that time, okay, sure, just like we predicted. All right, and then they say, okay, but we found one in the common area, and then that's doctored by three minutes, and then there's a mysterious figure in the video. Okay, so obviously the US government is in on it because they're not just can't find it. They found it, doctored it, and then put it out, and that's not even the right video. The hallway video is the one we want in front of his cell.
Starting point is 00:12:40 So guys, as we've discussed many, many times, what's the only thing powerful enough to be able to do that? One side's couple of political figures, no hell, no way, the other side would rat them out in a second, right? Oh, there's a lot of rich people involved. No, rich people do get prosecuted from time to time, okay? No, it's intelligence agencies, and to me at this point it's blaringly obvious. But that gets us back to the main thing that I wanted to put your attention on. The same reason why they'll never prosecute anyone and why Epstein couldn't go to trial is if anything goes to trial, the victim or the accused is going to say, I have information rights.
Starting point is 00:13:19 I want to see what the government has. And what the government has is that Epstein was run by an intelligence agency. So they cannot ever go to trial. The only person that went to trial and got convicted was Galane Maxwell. So why didn't Galane Maxwell ask the government for information on the intelligence agencies? I don't know, maybe because her dad was the biggest Mossad spy of all time. And if she was intelligence, she then couldn't use intelligence as a defense. So that's the very last thing she'd want to say is, oh, by the way, I'm a Mossad spy.
Starting point is 00:13:51 can I get that as my defense? No, so she's the one person who definitely wouldn't use that defense and wouldn't ask for the intelligence agency information. But anyone else would do it to defend themselves. So that's why no one can go to trial, including FC. That's my sense of it. But one thing that I think Jordan we could all agree on is if they never charge anyone and they never name anyone, obviously it's an enormous cover-up that continues through both Republican and Democratic administrations. Yeah, I mean, you remember early on the language and the reasoning from Bondi, Bungino, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:14:30 Oh, no, there's not something to see here. No, there was no trafficking whatsoever. It was just, it was just Epstein and Maxwell. Now all of a sudden, it's like, well, we got to, you know, protect all of these victims. And it's like the details are starting to shift a little bit. But then now, today, shortly before we went live, Trump is at a mini presser for, new Navy ships, which you may talk about tomorrow, but also his comments in response to reporter questions, which we will certainly talk about tomorrow. He's now upset. He's deeply
Starting point is 00:15:03 stressed, bothered, Jank, that pictures of people with Epstein are being revealed. And it's making people angry. And these poor people are having their lives upended. Just for being in photos with Jeffrey Epstein. It's like, how is that your concern? You have all of these victims of this guy, purportedly only victimized by this guy, and you're worried about the other people
Starting point is 00:15:30 that he was palling around with. You allegedly thought he was a bad guy and kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago way after other people started to know about who his true self was. I mean, the speculation and I think the shared understanding is that there was a conflict over poaching happening at Mar-a-Lago. And that's why he got kicked out. It wasn't out of some sort of, you know, situation where
Starting point is 00:15:58 Trump was frowning on his behavior at all, only that it affected him. But I think some of the spin from the Trump administration is pathetic, but this is a consequence of their own rhetoric. You have multiple figures in their administration who demanded this, who latched onto this issue for years on their own podcasts, they ran on it, they promised it, now of a sudden they don't want to deliver them because they know their base will revolt. So I think it's important to keep stoking those fires because I do think a lot of people on the right want complete and total transparency and are not buying the justification for some of these redactions. Yeah, look, I'll add one last thing. At this point, I don't know if there is a difference
Starting point is 00:16:40 between the CIA and Mossad. Because if it's Mossad, what? The CIA, apparently, in our government, is covering up for a different government. And instead of saying, oh, these are terrible people who were spies inside our country and got information on powerful people and maybe use it against us, that's awful and terrible and we should go get the sons of bitches. Doesn't look like it. Robert Maxwell stole our nuclear secrets.
Starting point is 00:17:08 We never even arrested him. I mean, does the CIA still even exist or is it just Mossad? So is it, or maybe in this case, look, I'm open-minded. It could mean that it's not Mossad, it's just that Epstein loved Israel. And so he wanted to do everything in his power to help Israel, as you see in all of the emails, Israel, Israel, help Israel, help Israel, get America to do this and this for Israel. But he was CIA. It's not impossible.
Starting point is 00:17:41 I mean, look, even I'm a little bit surprised that Mossad would have this kind of power to block everything in the U.S. government, right? And no matter how much political damage it does, you are never, ever allowed to cross Mossad or Israel. Is that possible? Yeah, it's totally, totally possible. Okay, but it's also possible that it's the CIA and they just go up to the politicians and go national security. That's it. Shut up. There's nothing you could do about it. Yeah, we had the girls raped. So what? And we were collecting information for American interests. I've never seen the CIA work for American interests ever, ever, ever, okay? But all right, it's definitely CIA or Mossad or both, and I'm not sure that there's a difference anymore.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Got to take a break? All right, yep. When we come back, the guys who run our country, Net and you Yahoo and his friends are trying to force us into another war with Iran and we will go, oh no, golly gee, maybe not, and then do probably do as we're ordered when we're come back. I'm not you're doing I'm I'm I'm
Starting point is 00:19:13 I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm I'm
Starting point is 00:19:24 I'm All right, let's go to our members. First, the eclectic mistletoe says, Jank, have you told your kids that you're the original YouTuber? And if so, do they think it's cool or do they roll their eyes? That's a great question. First of all, my kids give me the epic eye roll, right? So they're like, oh, okay, all right, all right, all right.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Okay, but their friends are generally impressed. Like when they, their friends find out, they're like, no, the first YouTuber, right? So that's kind of cool. Jack Callahan says, if nobody's guilty, why are there so many redactions to protect the victims, Jack? The victims are the people who did it. Maybe by victims, they just mean Mossad. I don't know. CB1 says Massey and Kana don't F around, just do it and go after scam, Blondie.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Yeah, I took guys, I mean, did I tell you Rokana? Who's the one guy that I supported through all of this, Rokana? Who's the one guy who's actually doing something in Congress for all of us, Rokana? It's all we're doing is paying attention on your behalf. That's all guys. So all right, urban hermit says the White House is out of Sharpies and redaction pens until the next order arrives after they clear tariffs. That's a good theory. Okay. So also today, 20th anniversary special Anna and I watch some old clips, have great time. Make sure you're here for it. So that's at 8 o'clock
Starting point is 00:21:06 tonight. And then next Monday, we're going to do Turks and Jerks. As usual, the jerk category is so full. It's filled to the rim and we've got to make super hard choices. Turks, that's a little bit easier. Less choices, unfortunately. All right, Jake's left trisepteper furious, says need distracting from, distraction from the Epstein files again, let's start another war. It's not just that. Israel is demanding perpetual war, and we should all shut up. Otherwise, we hate Jewish people, that kind of usual garbage that comes out of Israel.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Hectually Active says on Twitch, the start lack of accountability indicates that we trusted those in power, the Dems, to protecting against these actions and Zilch. Oh, no, the Dems are super guilty. I mean, I don't like, yeah, Republicans are guilty now, but the Democrats never released anything, and they never prosecuted Epstein or Maxwell. They never did anything. Finally, they got Maxwell, right?
Starting point is 00:22:03 Just window dressing. So, no, they protected guilty just as much because they are guilty. They're part of the same corrupt system. MJSC-7655 says, whatever happened to Q? That's a good question, isn't it? Bad Shaw Knight of Gotham says, harm toward people who are not part of any fight is always wrong.
Starting point is 00:22:22 What happened on October 7, including at the Nova event, was widely rejected. No group should ever bring danger to regular people. When one side says the other puts people at risk by staying close to them, it's important to look at every claim with the same fair view. Real care means wanting safety for everyone involved. Some say off-duty people who are mixed with the crowd and others could argue they believe the same about the concert group. Still, using nearby people to explain harm is never fair or acceptable. I think that's certainly true. All right, we'll be right back.
Starting point is 00:23:07 All right, back on TYT, Jane and Jordan with you guys. Also Fat Satter and CDN Norse Dog. Dad, they both sent in Young Turks memberships for one of you guys on We appreciate it. That's awesome. I love when the community sticks together. So guys, we're trying to save you a little bit of money through the holidays and beyond. So if you pay more than $50 for your cell phone bill, don't.
Starting point is 00:23:30 There's no reason to go to t.wit.com slash switch. I'm now hearing reports of people getting $20 back. I got about $10.5 dollars back, et cetera. So it's not even $50. It's somewhere between $30 and $50. It's so much cheaper than Verizon in AT&T, same phone, same numbers, same contacts. Nothing changes except your bill. By the way, if for some reason you have some service issues which shouldn't happen at all,
Starting point is 00:23:58 but if it didn't for me, not 1%, but if it does, you can just switch back to AT&T and Verizon and they'll pay you a lot of money to switch back. So either way, you're going to save a significant amount of money by going to t.com slash switch. All right, Jordan, what's next? Take a look at this. They're up to no good. We obliterated the Iranian nuclear facilities. We did not obliterate Iran's desire to have a nuclear weapon.
Starting point is 00:24:31 The regime hadn't changed at all. They still want to kill all the Jews, consider America the Great Satan, and purify Islam. Are they regenerating their nuclear capability? Are they building more ballistic missiles that could hurt Europe and Israel? I don't know, but there's evidence that's just they are. Is the U.S. gearing up to enter yet another war with Iran on behalf of Israel? Well, it seems to be what Lindsay Graham and Netanyahu want. So before we get into the details, Jank, you are two cents.
Starting point is 00:25:10 What should people be worried about? Yeah, so Israel's definitely going back in, and now they say, as you're going to hear from Jordan, that, well, just knocking out their nukes is not enough. We have to basically destroy everything they have and ever possess. We don't feel safe if any other person could ever defend themselves against us, ever, ever, right? So that's normal, that's Israel destroying all of its enemies at all times, right? a warmonger imperial government in the middle of the Middle East, causing nothing but endless war. But on top, as always, they also want us to pay for it and us to do the bombing. And Netanyahu's coming back to the White House to slap Trump around and go, hey, boy, I told you to attack Iran.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Shut up and do it again. Okay, and let's see if Trump listens to Daddy or not. Find out the facts first. According to a recent report from NBC News, Israeli officials have grown in, increasingly concerned that Iran is expanding production of its ballistic missile program, which was damaged by Israeli military strikes earlier this year and are preparing to brief President Donald Trump about options for attacking it again, according to a person with direct knowledge of the plans and some four former U.S. officials briefed on those plans. Israeli officials are also concerned that Iran is reconstituting nuclear enrichment sites the U.S. bombed in June. sources said, but they added, the officials view Iran's efforts to rebuild facilities where
Starting point is 00:26:44 they produce the ballistic missiles and to repair its crippled air defense systems as more immediate concerns. According to these sources, Iran's production of ballistic missiles could increase to 3,000 per year. However, this is a slow process, according to Israeli sources that spoke with Axios, as they're still recovering from the previous strikes. Israeli sources told Axios, that Israeli intelligence sees early signs of a renewed buildup of Iran's missile capabilities with more motivation than the Iranians had since the 12-day war in June. The Iranians started taking steps to rebuild their forces but haven't returned to the level they were at before the war, Israeli sources said. They also said that at the end of the war,
Starting point is 00:27:35 At the end of the war, Iran was left with 1,500 missiles down from 3,000 it had before, with 200 launchers out of the 400 it had before. According to one former Israeli official, there was no real question after the last conflict that we can gain aerial superiority and can do far more damage to Iran than Iran can do to Israel. But the threat of the missiles is very real, and we weren't able to prevent them all last time. But how big is that threat, really? Well, according to Joseph Rogers, the author of a report on Iran's development of nuclear weapons, the top line is that the Iranian nuclear program appears to be in limbo without clear leadership guidance.
Starting point is 00:28:22 We see some activity building new nuclear facilities nearby the facilities that the U.S. destroyed. And simultaneously, it appears that the three facilities, the U.S. struck there have been basically no attention. to rehabilitate whatsoever. And an American source told Axios that U.S. intelligence currently has no indication an Iranian attack is imminent. And other sources said, the biggest risk is a war between Israel and Iran will break as a result of a miscalculation with each side thinking the other plans to attack and try to preempt it.
Starting point is 00:29:00 And it seems that's where Bibi's mindset is at right now. It was announced last week that President Trump and Netanyahu are set to meet at Mar-a-Lago before the year ends. At that meeting, the sources said, Netanyahu is expected to make the case to Trump that Iran's expansion of its ballistic missile program poses a threat that could necessitate swift action. They said part of his argument is expected to be that Iran's actions present perils not only to Israel, but also to the broader region, including, U.S. interests and present Trump with options for the U.S. to join or assist in any new military operations. Now, the timing of this is interesting because Trump had recently announced the potential of reopening talks with Iran. He said Iran can try to rebuild its ballistic missile program, but it's going to take them a long time to come back. But if they do want to come
Starting point is 00:29:59 back with that a deal, then we're going to obliterate that one too, Trump said. You know, we can knock out their missiles very quickly. We have great power. And Iran has expressed interest in resuming talks. So we'll have to wait and see what actually comes out of the meeting between Trump and Net and Yahoo. But we do know what Lindsay Graham is ultimately hoping for. That Iran is going back into the enrichment business at other sites, that they're trying to build more ballistic missiles to terrorize Israel and maybe.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Europe that we hit them before they can do that. The one thing I've learned about radical Islam, the only language it understands is force. Jake, there's a lot here. I'm curious what you make of it. And also, what has Lindsay Graham ever done in recent years to put South Carolina voters first? Yeah, no, absolutely nothing, of course. He couldn't care less about his voters. He's obsessed with Israel and starting wars and let's go kill people and make profits and at their expense. He's one of the most disgusting people I've covered in politics. So did you notice what he said at the end there?
Starting point is 00:31:14 I love that. This is, that's classic neocon Israel first ideology. These Muslim Iranians are the worst people ever. They might do something at some point. So we should hit him first, strike and attack and kill and murder them. Because the only language they understand is violence. And force. No, brother, that's you. You're describing yourself. Like literally in the same sentence. And same goes for back in the day, John McCain and Joe Lieberman and all of them,
Starting point is 00:31:47 all of them. Almost the entire government is neocons. Let's do massive violence. Let's put American lives in jeopardy, spend trillions of American dollars, kill, attack, attack, attack, anyone who's even the slightest threat, who even looked at Israel slightly awkwardly. Don't you look at Israel, that was attack murder, right? That's Lindsay Graham. He's a total bought bitch of a different government. And by the way, now people on the right know that just as much as people on the left, at least in the online community, younger people, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:32:22 I know the senior citizens are still on cable news. And I'm like, we hurt Israel's our special ally, and my grandson should die for them. Here's all my savings Israel, please, the Fox News and MSNBC agree, we should kiss Israel's ass. Other than that, just, guys, if you see someone advocating for Israel these days, they're either biased, and I get that, that I should excuse a lot more, or they were, they're literally paid to, like, grovel at the feet of Israel. It's the most disgusting, saddest thing I've ever seen. So, okay, let's go to the heart of this. First of all, I'm going to say something that people will find outrageous, in traditional media and politics.
Starting point is 00:33:02 So what if Iran is a threat to Israel? I mean, I don't think they are, but so what if they were? How dare you? It is our moral responsibility to murder anyone who Israel considers a threat. No, it's not. Israel is the aggressor. Israel keeps attacking Iran. Israel has bombed their capital.
Starting point is 00:33:21 Israel has killed their civilian scientists and their children. Israel has bombed Iran over and over and over again. And so why do I have to protect the aggressor? Why do I have to help the aggressor commit more offensive wars and destroy their neighbors? And if their neighbors attack back after Israel has attacked them, that's not my responsibility at all. Here's how you could cure that Israel. Stop attacking every single one of your neighbors. There, I solved it for you.
Starting point is 00:33:52 It's not my responsibility when you start the war, okay? We don't have any responsibility to Russia. Oh, yeah, oh, but the Ukrainians might hurt some Russians. And or fill in any other blanks. The Saudis, when they attacked Yemen. Did we have a responsibility to defend Saudi Arabia? No, they started the war. By the way, they also start people in Yemen, just like Israel did in Gaza.
Starting point is 00:34:16 No, we don't have any more or responsibility. They have warmongers who would like to start wars and expand their empires. And the Saudis wanted to control over Yemen. And so now that leads us to the very core of the issue. Now, Israel says, as Jordan partly explained to you guys, you have four options, they say. One is Israel does it by itself, the other is Israel does it with limited American action. Third is joint operation, fourth is America does it on its own. We laugh by our asses off at you, right?
Starting point is 00:34:42 And so, okay, if that's our four options, I'll take option number one, Israel, F off, do whatever the hell you want. I mean, I don't want it. I think attacking Iran's a terrible idea, but I'm not the boss of Israel, okay? American voters. And as Americans, we go, if you would like to unfairly attack another country for no damn reason, that's kind of your business, brother, that ain't my business at all. And you want me to do it for you?
Starting point is 00:35:10 No, no. I have no interest in your expansion and your greater Israel and all of that. And now, by the way, the reason why later in the show we go back to Magna Civil War is because now people on the right are just saying it. Like Ben Shapiro comes out and gives a speech, you all have to cancel everyone. And I am a postal. How dare you even talk to anyone who doesn't kiss Israel's ass? Right?
Starting point is 00:35:33 And Steve Bannon came out. I'm no fan of Steve Bannon, that's for sure. But he was one of many voices and he said, this isn't about protecting Israel. In front of all of T.P. USA, he said, this is about their expansion to form greater Israel. And we have no obligation to help them expand their empire. So now the right and the left completely and utterly agree. utterly agree. The only people left are the crooks in Washington who are all Israel first. The rest of the country's gone. God, we don't want to fight another war for Israel. And don't
Starting point is 00:36:08 tell me it's not for Israel. Israel's literally saying, you're better do it for me. You better pay for it, and you better do the bombing. And then you're going to come and to threaten Trump personally. Again, again, I don't know what he's got on Trump, but every one of those business This works. Trump for a while, when Netanyahu leaves, goes, oh, I might stand up to Israel. I don't know if I'm going to go in again. And then Netanyahu comes and grabs his ear and goes, get into my office. And then go into the Oval Office. And then after they come out of the meeting, Trump's like, oh, yeah, I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. Of course, sir. Of course, sir. I will. Please, I'm so sorry. I will attack anyone you like, sir. Okay. So why are they so gung-ho on
Starting point is 00:36:49 attacking Iran again, after even they agreed that the nukes have been, there were no nukes, the nuclear facilities that were beginning to enrich uranium have been wiped out. So number one, they say ballistic missiles are a threat to us. But everyone has ballistic missiles. So what no other country is allowed to have any weapons at all, otherwise Israel is going to attack you. Soon, it'll be like, well, Australia said the Palestine should be a state, and the Irish said it, and they have ballistic missiles. America, you must destroy Belfast for me, and Sydney, and anyone who dares to have ballistic missiles
Starting point is 00:37:31 that hasn't groveled at Israel's feet. No, brother, you don't have that right. You don't have the right to destroy every country that has ballistic missiles. That's insanity. That's not a thing that exists other than the absurd, grotesque entitlement of the Israelis. And finally, yes, a couple of missiles got through in Iron Dome. They're like, we're not invincible. We can't just slaughter all the Muslims.
Starting point is 00:37:56 We might lose one or two Israeli lives. I mean, hundreds of thousands of dead Muslims don't count at all. But one or two Israeli lives. America, snap to attention, America. Come on, give me the money, give me the money. Give me the war. Give me the bombs. Attack around right now.
Starting point is 00:38:14 And that's what Israel is doing. They're slapping us around, busting us around, and when they come, Trump will probably fold. And if you don't know, they're working on a memorandum of understanding that is going to give Israel a 20-year guarantee that we are going to fund them $4 to $5 billion a year. So that is an $80 to $100 billion that the Israelis in their infinite arrogance say, we are. owe them. Jordan, I've never understood why we owe Israel anything. To me, by my county, they owe us over $300 billion. On just the money we gave them, let alone the trillions of dollars we wasted attacking all their enemies. So I don't know. I don't know if you think Trump, what Trump's going to do, is he going to be there dog again? And I don't, I don't know
Starting point is 00:39:10 why we have a single interest in Israel. We should get toxic. We should get rid of them. as an so-called ally and never deal with them again. That would be the best case scenario for America. Yeah, it routinely puts the United States in difficult and impossible situations, maintaining that alliance. It doesn't really, I mean, I guess from a military perspective, it might benefit the U.S. because it's an easy point of entry into that region where we have waged forever war for decades.
Starting point is 00:39:44 If this is something that Trump, the guy who so desperately wants the Nobel Peace Prize, if he really truly did care about no new wars, I think his behavior even in just this first year reflects the fact that he isn't really passionate about not starting wars. It's just a talking point. But that would be something I think a large portion of this country would celebrate. It is a drain on our resources. We are routinely told we can't have universal health care in the states because it's too expensive. Every other developed country has it. But never do we hear, Jank, talk around affordability or how we might finance billions and billions and billions of dollars going to Israel for military aid or the costs that we sink into our own military and weapons purchases.
Starting point is 00:40:41 and missiles and whatnot to wage wars on behalf of Israel. All of that money would be better spent here. I think you could find a good portion of this country who, when you calmly, rationally, whatever, make that point to them, it'll resonate with the average American. Yeah, sure, I want problems domestically solved first. This is not just a Trump or a Republican problem. This is a Democrat, this is a uniparty problem, for sure.
Starting point is 00:41:11 But the idea that Iran also, my final point is just that the idea that Iran is on the precipice of yet again having a nuclear weapon is laughable. When you look at Netanyahu's comments from the past 15 years, Jank, every time Netanyahu would speak at the UN or would focus on Iran again for that week, whatever, he routinely would make these outrageous, like demonstrably false claims about their country. time frame until they obtained a nuclear weapon. Never once did we ever see any evidence that they were enriching uranium to weapons grade. But we were told time and time and time again that we had to strike Iran because they were just days or weeks or hours or minutes away from having a nuclear weapon. And we never saw it. They never had one. Now again, they're building toward one. and again, he wants to bomb Iran.
Starting point is 00:42:11 That's all he wants. That's all he's ever wanted. He's willing to lie about it then. He's willing to lie about it now. I don't trust these Israeli sources who say they are working toward a nuclear site. I mean, possibly show some evidence. At the very least, they're probably, or at the first, for me, at the very most, they're doing it for energy. Because for them, they see it as a reliable source of energy to power their country.
Starting point is 00:42:41 But if we saw any evidence that they were enriching uranium to weapons grade, then that would be a different conversation. But we haven't seen that. It's just Netanyahu's claims. Okay, so first of all, Iran's trying to get into a nuclear treaty with us again. So they have actually reached out to us. That's another thing that's upsetting the Iranians, the Israelis. least because they're saying, well, if you guys are in a treaty, well, we can't have regime change. And so this isn't about their missiles guys. It's mainly about, yeah, a couple got through, they're a little worried about that, but it's mainly about regime change. Why?
Starting point is 00:43:16 What a lot of you might not know is a lot of the governments in the Middle East, the Arab Muslim governments, are totally subservient to Israel. Their rulers are. So they realized, hey, if we don't do exactly as Israel tells us, Israel either will murder us themselves or we'll get America to murder us. So we're going to betray our own citizens, they're dictators anyway, so they're like, we'll work with Israel. And I know people from the Middle East that say that in certain countries, like Egypt is a good example, if you say anything against Israel, the Egyptian secret police come and get you. And they take you from your house, et cetera, etc, okay? So what they want is Iran to be neutered as well and to be another lapdog for
Starting point is 00:43:59 them. And they want to impose Israel friendly puppet regimes throughout the Middle East that just say, of course, sir, take our people's land, sir. No, we'll never fight back, sir. You're a demigod, sir. So that's what they want. And that's why they're unsatisfied. I mean, we took out the nuclear facilities. What else do you want? Iran says they'll get back into a treaty and give us all the uranium. What else do you want? It was never about that. It was about subservience and obedience. Since the Iranian leaders will not submit to the Israeli leaders, they must be murdered and they must be replaced with Israel friendly puppets. So that's the game that's being played. A lot of you, of course, you don't know the Middle East, so how do you know that Jordan
Starting point is 00:44:44 and Egypt and Saudi Arabia have leaders that are totally work for Israel and are dogs of Israel, Right? But they are and you can go ask anybody that lives in those countries and they'll tell you personal stories. Okay, the last two things is, yeah, Jordan, you're absolutely right about Netanyahu for decades coming. Oh, Iran, Iran, why it keeps, like this is 15, 20 years before they even had the ability to fake a nuclear threat, right? Why was he saying nuclear back when Iran could barely figure out a slingshot, right? Because regime change, the Iranian regime is not friendly to Israel, in other words, is not controlled by Israel, so we must murder their leaders and put in leaders that will bow
Starting point is 00:45:32 to Israel. And that's what they've done in almost all their neighboring countries. So lastly, and so if you've seen the video, there's a video from Netanyahu around 90s, I think, where he's talking inside a house and I believe in Israel, and they asked him about the Americans and he says, oh, there's two of these videos. One of them, he says, oh, the Americans, they're no problem at all. Don't worry about the Americans. They're super easy to control. We'll be able to control them no matter what we want. He said it, and he's been doing it. And I mean, it's an incredible shame on our disgusting politicians that they serve that man,
Starting point is 00:46:11 okay? And finally, you know, we don't have the money. We're borrowing. So if we get the Israelis $100 billion now, we'd have to borrow, I mean, assume a super low interest rate of 5%. We'd have to borrow an extra $5 billion a year in interest to pay for the $100 billion. And that accumulates every year. So far we've given them inflation adjusted over $300 billion. That's arguably, again, super conservative rate, $15 billion in interest alone that we're paying to borrow the money to to give to Israel. I mean, you really have to be the world's biggest suckers to do that. And Israel's not a little baby country, oh, goo-gou-gaga, I don't know how to defend myself.
Starting point is 00:46:59 It has nukes, it has one of the top economies in the world, it has single-payer health care, it has free college, it has Iron Dome, it has the best military in the Middle East. Why are we go-go-gag-gawing one of the best developed militaries in the world? You're a grown-up country. Go on your own already and find out what life is like without big daddy paying all your goddamn bills. So Israel is a scourge upon this country. I can't wait to free America from it.
Starting point is 00:47:27 But for now, Netanyahu will come over and slap Trump around and then Trump will probably make us do whatever the Israelis want. That has been the 100% unbreakable pattern through Republican and Democratic administrations my whole life. All right. You gotta take a break? Yep. And when we come back, CBS caves into Trump, takes down a story from, of course, with all national
Starting point is 00:47:54 media is propaganda anyway. We'll come back. All right, meowsers close, establishing rights, and Israel still believes their insanely aggressive plans will slip past criticism like it's 2003. No, they think that they could just get anyone who opposes them fired and ruin their careers because they have a bunch of thugs and assets inside this country that try to do that for them. Anytime if somebody criticized Israel, they call them an anti-Semite and try to ruin their lives, it's Israeli 101. So 2% of the time you hear someone's an anti-Semite,
Starting point is 00:48:58 it's real. 98% of the time is to protect Israel and it's done by thugs here in this country who don't even believe it, who just want to destroy, utterly destroy any American who dares to oppose Israel. Okay, Asimov's prophecies, come. on Joe Rogan and Tim Dillon, get your boy before he sends us to two wars in two different hemispheres. We're gonna spread real thin so you can say it's a national security risk. Well look, good news, Dylan's gone. Dylan's off that Trump train big time and he's leveling Israel and not interested in any of the wars. Rogan is much more, like Rogan is generally saying the right things whenever the issue comes up for about five.
Starting point is 00:49:43 to 10 seconds apiece, but it looks like he's trying to desperately avoid that issue. God knows what kind of pressure is he has. Ecclectic mistletoe rites back in his 2025, so we're at quarter century mark. Maybe TYT should also do who's the biggest turk and jerk so far this century. Now that would be a hard choice. Man, we're 20 on YouTube, but 23 overall. My God, we're almost a quarter of a century of the young Turks. Jack Callahan says, we could bypass this whole debacle by
Starting point is 00:50:13 by talking to Iran and re-upping their nuclear treaty we had with them. But Jack, not only would that not help, that would actually motivate Israel more to immediately start the war, because we might get to peace with the Iranians. Iranians want peace, we want peace. And Israel is trying everything to can, they can to prevent that peace, and make sure that we stay in perpetual war on their behalf. And every national media report is like, oh, Israel's influence on America, I can't see it. I don't see it at all.
Starting point is 00:50:43 I mean, come on guys. The national media reporters are such a colossal joke. They're the biggest jokes in the whole country. Israel's influence on American politicians? What name so? I never saw it. And if anybody says it, you're anti-Semites. That's what they are.
Starting point is 00:51:03 You should destroy anyone who criticizes Israel. I'm a reporter for national media, okay? Hundreds of millions of dollars by the Israeli lobby. How dare you mention that? That's not a problem at all. They bought 94% of Congress. That's not a problem at all. You mentioning it, though, you should be destroyed.
Starting point is 00:51:25 Says the news, reporters, reporters. Okay. Tech stand says, oh, look, it's IDF reporter Barack Ravid, reporting that Iran is dangerous and out of control. Who would have believed it? That's like literally what's happening. He's literally an IDF soldier. Anyway, a theater goddess says,
Starting point is 00:51:42 I've been re-watching old episodes of NCIS. When I first saw the Ziva episodes where they just portrayed the Mossad and the Israeli government as shady AF, not as a good ally to the U.S., I thought them to be overly dramatic. Turns out the writers knew what they were talking about and pulled their punches. Guys, I've seen it as Superman, I think in Zootopia 2. All right, back on TYT, Jake and Jordan with you guys also, F Hanna. Thank you for joining through the website. We love that. TYT.com slash join and Patrick Roister, 2569. Thank you for gifting a membership. Fatsata, thank you for gifting another. You guys are awesome. We love you. Jordan, what's next?
Starting point is 00:52:42 Over the weekend, 60 Minutes teased a new investigation into the notorious prison in El Salvador, where the Trump administration had been sending alleged undocumented immigrants. Then, suddenly, that teaser vanished, and an editor's note was posted, claiming the segment will run at a later day. Almost immediately, media reporters and just casual observers suspected that newly minted CBS editor-in-chief, Barry Weiss had something to do with it. And it turns out, yes, she did. We'll get you into the details momentarily. But, Jank, what was your reaction when you heard this? Not one percent of surprise. I don't know why everyone was brought in to help two people.
Starting point is 00:53:33 98% in favor of Israel. And so everything is going to be skewed towards Israel. The greatest Muslims are all dirty and dangerous. It should all be attacked and killed right. away. So that's going to be ZBS 101. And the 2% is to protect Trump so they can stay on the air and go to, oh, daddy, Trump, we're serving you well, right? Right? Please start another war for Israel. Yep, yep, okay. Anyone who doesn't know that is a joke. That CBS is totally trash now, utterly useless. So what are you even looking at 60 minutes for? From here on out, as long as Barry Weiss is in charge and this company that bought it is in charge, Their whole point is to serve Israel, that serving Trump is only a means to serving Israel
Starting point is 00:54:14 because they want to make sure he stays on Israel's side. Okay. Let's get into the details. The teaser clip showed footage of people arriving in El Salvador and being removed from planes by heavily armed guards. Then buses of detainees arrive at Seacot, the purportedly brutal terrorist confinement center in El Salvador in the largest prison in Latin America. Then detainees are shown shackled and stripped down to their underwear before being whisked off screen. A testimonial from one of the detainees rounds out that teaser clip and he describes the horror that they felt and the fear they experienced while in Seacot. That seems like solid reporting.
Starting point is 00:55:03 What does the full segment say? Well, we can't know because of Barry Weiss. On an editorial call Monday morning, Weiss explained to CBS News staff why she held the piece. However, it remains unclear why Weiss, who should have been aware of the Seacot segment for weeks, felt an urgent need to pull the 60 Minutes report just a day before it was set to air
Starting point is 00:55:26 after CBS News had already broadly promoted the segment. Weiss continued, the public knows that Venezuelans have been subjected to horrific treatment in this prison. So to run a story on this subject, two months later, we simply need to do more. And this is 60 minutes. We need to be able to make every effort to get principles on the record and on camera. The journalist who worked on that segment, Sharon Alfonzi, sent an email to her colleagues on Sunday night shortly after the decision to spike the story was announced. Our story was screened five times and cleared by both CBS attorneys and standards and practices.
Starting point is 00:56:10 It is factually correct. In my view, pulling it now, after every rigorous internal check has been met, is not an editorial decision, it's a political one. Now, part of Weiss's opposition to the piece running was the lack of a Trump administration comment on the record. Something Alfonzi points out, she saw multiple times. We requested responses to questions and or interviews with DHS, the White House, and the State Department. Government silence is a statement, not a veto. The refusal to be interviewed is a tactical maneuver designed to kill the story. If the standard for airing a story becomes the government must be interviewed, then the government effectively gains control over the 60 minutes broadcast.
Starting point is 00:56:58 We go from an investigative powerhouse to a stenographer for the state. And Jank, I love that last line. What do you think? Okay, so look, the only reason why I care as Centilla about it is because it's 60 minutes. And 60 minutes, to be fair, has done some great reporting through the decades, right? And from time to time, even recently. But it's dead. The owner decides.
Starting point is 00:57:25 And so the owner is not going to let you do objective reporting ever. They're not going to let you be objective about Trump or any of their allies. Not only that, soon there'll be hit pieces against Democrats and against any of Israel's opponents, et cetera. So it's over. When the minute they bought it, it was over. Jordan, to me, this is the equivalent of us having. a conversation about MySpace, right? Once Murdoch bought it, MySpace sank because everybody realized, no, you can't trust it,
Starting point is 00:57:53 it's garbage now, right? So CBS and it's sad, it was a great American institution, some wonderful anchors there throughout the years, Walter Cronkwright, Dan Rather, etc. But now it's just, Barry Weiss is not subtle, she, this is not like, oh, I think they might like Israel, I think they might skew it a little bit. No, the whole career of Barry Weiss is to do, is to protect Israel, serve Israel, and to attack Israel's opponents. She's the one that started cancel culture on college campuses. She would go around and make a list of any professor or student that was pro-Palestinian and try to get them fired. She's the queen of cancel
Starting point is 00:58:42 culture. She doesn't care about the news. Bias is. is everything that Barry Weiss does. So when you put Barry Weiss in charge of an organization, what you're saying is we've stopped doing news. This will only be doing propaganda from here on now. And even when they brought the same group that bought CBS, Bought her organization free press, they practically advertised on the New York Post. We paid way more than we should because she's pro-Israel.
Starting point is 00:59:11 And then Netanyahu said the same guy's Ellison's bought. TikTok or in the middle of buying TikTok, and he's like, now we've purchased TikTok, so that's good. Netanyahu says that. So like they're literally purchasing different news or news organizations to basically light them on fire and serve Trump in Israel. That's it, period. Yeah, I mean, I think CB or not CBS as a whole, 60 minutes in this case specifically, they're still capable of doing good journalism, but I don't think we're going to see anything that really holds the powerful to account, like you say, under this current. ownership and administration.
Starting point is 00:59:48 We've seen some flashes since she has taken over. J.D. Vance did an interview. I believe it was with Margaret Brennan. I can't remember exactly. But he made some comments on his own that made news because they were so outlandish. For instance, he tried blaming immigrants for the cost of housing. He's not going to call that out. She could have done a better job in that interview, of course.
Starting point is 01:00:13 but this type of reporting exposing the horrors of our immigration system and the consequences of the Trump administration's actions, I just don't think we'll see anything like that. It's pathetic. It's sad. Barry Weiss is totally and wholly unqualified for that. I mean, just flashback, what, two weeks ago? She's putting herself in the spotlight to conduct a softball interview with Erica Kirk that totally flopped. Advertisers wanted nothing to do with it. We covered it on this show. They had to run Chia Pet commercials during that special event because so many advertisers wanted nothing to do with it. I mean, that's what's happening. It's not just like a matter of editorial disagreement. It's that an objective observer is looking at this and
Starting point is 01:01:08 saying, no, this is trash. I'm out of here. It's, it's bad for the brand. It's bad for the show. And it's unfair to the many, many producers, writers, editors, reporters who do good journalism that occasionally can end up on 60 minutes. It's sad every way you look at it. Yeah. I guess I'm too flippant about the story because I already thought CBS News was dead. So the minute they bought it, it was that. So, oh, they're doing the same thing that we predicted with 100% accuracy they would do, of course. And guys, I don't want anybody get the wrong idea. So it's not that Barry Weiss is Jewish, just tons of Jewish owners and editors and producers of the news stations and non-Jews owners, editors, et cetera, managing editors, all across the country,
Starting point is 01:02:01 right? Nothing wrong with that, never had an issue with that. etc. No, like I'm saying this preemptively, because, you know, whenever you criticize Israel, anti-Saman, anti-Semite, anti-Semite, they'll invent some trope, okay? No, it's a well-known trope that if you criticize people in news named Barry that you hate Jews or whatever, right? No, her entire career has been built on supporting Israel, period. That's all she cares about. And so, and the Ellisons have declared, I mean, look, Larry Ellison, the guy providing all the money for this, the founder of Oracle, went and spoke to Marco Rubio in 2016 to, and he told the Israeli ambassador, I'm going to check to see if he's pro-Israel enough. This is again, me, mails the drop site news found.
Starting point is 01:02:47 And then he tells the Israeli ambassador afterwards, yes, he will serve Israel. And that's why I gave him $5 million into a super pact. That's who bought CBS. CBS news is gone. Get used to it. Don't get outraged by it. I just move on. I mean, it's only 89 year olds watching anyway. So sad day for 60 minutes, which is a great program. Okay, oh shoot, we're out of time. All right. Thank you, Jordan.
Starting point is 01:03:16 Appreciate it, brother. When we come back, the Magos Civil War doesn't just continue. It gets larger and larger and larger. And I'm here for it. I love it. We'll be back. Damn it, they failed us! And if you're not angry about that, Michael, and any of you out there, then you're goddamn wrong, because you should be angry. Young Turks! It was genuine. He was mad.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Jank Yuger, known online as one of the Young Turks, isn't afraid to throw some punches. Three, two, one, fade up. Jank, the Turk Yuga. What kind of TV station is this? The whole point is for me to yell a scream and tell you what I think. I think. It was right out of like Wayne's World. This guy on this little rinky dink website is speaking truth to power. We've been averaging 600,000 views a day.
Starting point is 01:04:13 Beating most of the cable shows in America. We're the largest online news show in the world. We're celebrating our one billionth view. Television, we're coming. More politics ahead with Hank Yugar. He knew that the MSNBC opportunity was an experiment. And Phil and host beat CNN in the headline news combined. At some point, they want to give me a show.
Starting point is 01:04:34 Every single year, that comes out of our paycheck. We put it in, and you're saying we were suckers. When you as a host tells someone you're interviewing to shut up, that's going to raise a red flag. That guy needed a tall glass of shut up. If President Obama's doing the wrong thing, I'm not going to tell you that he's doing the right thing so I can, quote, support him. He says to me, you won't believe the meaning that I just have. The head of MSNBC talked to me. They won him off the air.
Starting point is 01:05:03 Check took an incredible risk. We're supposed to challenge the government. That's the role of the media. The Democrats and the Republicans are here to screw you. And who on the air is saying it? I wouldn't have done what he did. That if I'm going to be a talk show host, I should be the biggest talk show host in the country.
Starting point is 01:05:19 I don't think anyone else does it better. I don't think anyone's even close. Before you know it, I'll be back on your TV doing a national show. I guarantee it. Magic, it's showtime and say 45 minutes. I'm hosting today. Now, I know what you're thinking, Jay, your face is already perfect, but you know what?
Starting point is 01:05:48 I still need to apply some makeup. I went through this process, right? A few years ago, when I realized I was going to have to wear makeup on the show. I had to go through, like, finding out what my undertones were. You guys know those are? I got my mad cousins. It says SPF-15 foundation broad spectrum. But apparently what I have is red undertones, and I think pores are not supposed to be seen.
Starting point is 01:06:10 I need all these things to be confirmed for me. These sponge things are working for me. You got to use your hands with this idea. That's how the magic really happens. So we're going to go through a tutorial. How to make the magic happen from beautiful to beautiful earth. Let's go. I've already been moisturized.
Starting point is 01:06:27 That's the first thing. But most utilization already happened. We go raw. All hands. Take up. Couple streaks. This is the guy we're putting on makeup. We got dots.
Starting point is 01:06:38 There's some shining points that generally happen. First of all, here we go. You dust here. I'm putting way too much, but you dust. Oh, get the excess off. You don't want chunky powder. There's like a T zone, I think, right? Mine is a double T zone.
Starting point is 01:07:00 on because I went middle and another cross make sure nose isn't all at all shiny people get on you for it don't say it's not a good point you made on air jr your nose is shiny you guys are pick you like that sometimes I think that's about it fellas and ladies see you guys next time Maybe Santa can turn into fire, but probably not. Merry Christmas. Sharon Reed with you guys. Good to see you, Sharon. Great to see you, Jenk. All right. So in a little bit, we're going to do a 20th anniversary special. Anna will join me at the top of the hour at 8 o'clock Eastern. Don't miss that. That'll be a lot of fun. Look back at the 20 years that we've had here,
Starting point is 01:08:17 including some of the spectacular moments and some of the hilarious moments. So that's coming up in a little bit. But first, we have this. Well, I found it kind of funny that Ben thinks, he has the power to decide who gets excommunicated from the conservative movement. And the Israel first crowd is Ben Shapiro, Tel Aviv, Mark Levin, and many others that want to put that ahead of America's interests. Truly, Ben Shapiro, fuck you, and the midget horse that you wrote in on. And I say that on behalf of the world. That was funny.
Starting point is 01:08:55 Okay, she also says some things that were not great. But right now, we're in the middle of Maga Civil War. So on the one side is Israel first, on the other side is America first. In the old days, Israel first was the undisputed champion. But as you saw in some of these clips, and we're going to show you a lot more, America First is beginning to fight back, and it is a hell of a brawl. So Sharon, tell us all the facts, and I'll come back in and weigh in on who makes sense and who doesn't and who goes too far and who doesn't. Yeah, better than some of the best soap operas I've seen lately, Jank.
Starting point is 01:09:32 Here are the details. Turning Point USA's America Fest turned into an all-out bloodbath with conservatives, tearing each other to shreds. If you'd kicked off on Thursday when Ben Shapiro gave a fiery speech condemning Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Steve Bannon, Megan Kelly, and Nick Fuentes. Let's watch. And the people who refused to condemn Candace's true. really vicious attacks, and some of them are speaking here, are guilty of cowardice.
Starting point is 01:10:03 Yes, cowardice. Even if it were true that other public figures were our best friends, our very best friends, that does not relieve us of our duty to speak out of principle, and not to cover up evil or shy away from addressing it out of friendship. So no, Tucker Carlson, it is not an excuse to go silent on Candace's targeting of TPUSA. Or to mirror her lines of questioning because you love Canada. friend is personally. The same holds true of Megan Kelly, a person I consider a friend.
Starting point is 01:10:33 There is a reason that Charlie Kirk despised at Nick Fuentes and indeed even chided to Nesh D'Souza for debating him. He knew that Nick Fuentes is an evil troll and that building him up is an act of moral imbecility. And that is precisely what Tucker Carlson did when Steve Bannon, for example, accuses his foreign policy opponents of loyalty to a foreign country, he's not actually making an argument based in evidence. simply maligning people that he disagrees with, which is indeed par for the course from a man
Starting point is 01:11:00 who was once a PR flag for Jeffrey Epstein. All right, tell us how you really feel. Over the past few days, Shapiro's rivals have hit back. We begin with Steve Bannon. Let's face it, Ben Shapiro is the farthest thing from Maga. Let's be blunt. He is a hardcore never-trumper. He's a hardcore never-trumper. He's a hardcore never-trum. When President Trump gets sent back to Mar-a-Lago, the very first individual that jumped on the Ron DeSantis train, the Israel first train, was Ben Shapiro. He's consistently been against Trump, and now the President Trump doesn't back the greater Israel project. What is greater Israel? It's not about Israel itself.
Starting point is 01:11:45 It's about an expansionist Israel, an imperial Israel, that Netanyahu in that crowd have thought up. And the Israel first crowd is Ben Shapiro, Tel Aviv, Mark Levin, and many others that want to put that ahead of America's interests. Then there was Megan Kelly. She said Ben Shapiro cares more about Israel than he does about America. Watch. I found it kind of funny that Ben thinks he has the power to decide who gets excommunicated from the conservative movement, which shows a willful blindness of about his position in it. So it's a similar situation with Barry. None of this is about them calling me out for anything I've said or haven't said or it's certainly not about Erica Kirk, as Ben tried to make it sound last night.
Starting point is 01:12:35 It's about Israel. Those two are very pro-Ardened Israel activists, which is fine. But they don't get to dictate how the rest of us feel about Israel or what we do with respect to our friends and our friends' opinions on Israel. What about Candace Owens? Well, she was not present at America Fest. Instead, she addressed Ben Shapiro on her show. She didn't just talk about Ben Shapiro, though. She attacked Jewish people as a whole. Listen. Look at you, and I just think you are such a little worm. I could see you right now, probably.
Starting point is 01:13:09 What can we get out to her? We're going to sue her into bankruptcy again, right? Sue her for every infraction, every word that I don't like, and every time my feelings are hurt. because what you really believe in is Balbarith. That's what your people believe in. You believe that you are contract lords and that people are not allowed to violate contracts, so you will ruin them for years. You describe yourself as a Talmudic Jew, and I've learned what's in that Talmud,
Starting point is 01:13:35 and I encourage other people at home to learn what is in that Talmud that you know what Ben thinks of you, because he doesn't just hate me. He hates you too, white men. He hates all black people, okay? If he's following the rules of the Talmud, I mean, when I say hates, they think that we're animals, that they have a right to own us, that they have a right to make us worship them, that they have a right to lie to us, that they have a right to sue us and take everything that we have.
Starting point is 01:14:02 Wake up and learn the true history of slavery, because that wasn't exactly a white men sport, okay? Jewish people were the ones that were trading us. Jewish people were in control of the slave trade. They've buried a lot of it, but it's there. And you can find it. All right, well, you won't be surprised to hear that Nick Quintas had a similar response. We'll put it up for you, stereotypically classless decision by Ben Shapiro to use Charlie Kirk's stage to disavow half of the American right by name.
Starting point is 01:14:37 Jews like Barry Weiss think this is courageous putzpah. Everyone else rightly sees it as tasteless and self-serving. The reign of Zio conservatism is over. So, you know, Jank, parts of this were interesting to watch anytime MAGA is in this internal civil war, sure. Other, though, sections of it and this kind of speech, incredibly difficult to hear. What does it mean? And who got through on the messaging? Yeah, so there's two different things here.
Starting point is 01:15:14 we think and what does the right wing think, right? So what do I think? I think that Fuentes and Candace Owens go way too far. So Fuentes says that it was classless. Yeah, maybe so, but coming from a guy who thinks Hitler is really cool, I'm not sure that you're the right judge of class there, right? Let alone a million other things he says that are terrible, but that would have done it in and of itself.
Starting point is 01:15:39 So Candace Owens, what is with the Talmudic Jewans, I put that crap aside. guys. I know tons and tons of Jewish people. I don't know any, they were like, oh, let's get our secret Talmud plan out, right? No. So Israel does so many maniacal things. You don't need to go beyond that. There's this whole, like, the Mossad's not calling random Jewish people and going, okay, you guys in on it, you know, all my Talmudic Jews with me? No, no. There's no need for that crap, and it is crap. Oh, you found some bad things in the Talmud. I got bad news for you, read the Bible, read the Quran.
Starting point is 01:16:19 You're gonna find oodles and oodles of death and murder, and we are better than the other ethnic tribes and God slaughtered the other ethnic tribes for us, et cetera. Old Testament, New Testament, Quran everywhere, everywhere, okay? So it's out of bounds. To be fair to Candace, the midget horse you wrote in on was hilarious. Okay, so fair a show in America. So now, the Ben Shapirs of the world would say, well, okay, then you wait in on it. Candace is wrong, and so that means she's wrong about everything, and you should, no one should
Starting point is 01:16:54 ever talk to her and we should put her in a cave and seal it. No, she can talk to anyone she likes. And people can agree or disagree with whichever things that she says. I think when she goes out of bounds like that, it hurts everybody, and it most certainly hurts her credibility, right? But does that mean that by definition, the things she said in the past about Israel or whatever is wrong? No, we all agreed the sky is blue and the grass is green.
Starting point is 01:17:21 That doesn't mean, you know, that we have to disagree on that if we disagree on other things. Okay, but that's easy, guys. And Nick Fuentes wasn't at TPUSA and Candace Owens wasn't at TPUSA and Amfest. But Shapiro basically is saying, if you even talk to any. anyone that I have deemed to be anti-Semitic. Now, you could tell that he's lying and it's all about Israel because he then also takes it to Tucker Carlson. Now, Tucker Carlson hasn't said the things that those guys have said.
Starting point is 01:17:55 In fact, he has said now literally dozens of times, being anti-Semitic, being judging anyone based on the religion they're in, the race, the ethnicity that they're in, and not as individuals goes against his core faith and that it is deeply wrong. Now, I know, and there's a lot of good folks on the left who believe, no, he's lying, it's a trick. He's telling everybody to be good guys because he secretly wants them to be bad guys. Okay, well, that trick is executed so well that millions of his listeners have heard now dozens of times be good guys. I don't know when he pops out of a cake, right, and goes, supplies, I was just kidding. Maybe it happens, maybe it doesn't.
Starting point is 01:18:38 but to cancel him and that no one should be allowed to talk. No, no, no, no, no. You don't get to tell us who we talk to and who we don't talk to. But we almost gotten used to it. It's actually an absurd conversation to begin with. Like, when did we ever come up with the idea of, if I don't agree with something that person has said, no one should ever be allowed to talk to them ever again? That's honestly just an Israel first idea.
Starting point is 01:19:04 And the reason that they came up with that idea is there's so many things to criticize. Israel on. So what do you have to do? And if you start a conversation on Israel, it's super obvious, right? They go, oh, we're a special ally. You ask them, what does that mean? They have no answer. So they say anti-Semite. And then you say, okay, what do you mean Judea Christian heritage in the 1940s? It didn't look like we had that, right? Anti-Semite. Hold on. I'm trying to have a conversation. Shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up, shut up. Everyone should shut up, otherwise they hate Jews, right? Oldest trick in the book, Ben Shapiro and Mark, Levin, have used it 2,000 times.
Starting point is 01:19:40 And now everybody's sick of it, that poor old pony, the one-trick pony, they beat that midget pony to halfway three-quarters away to death and then back and they Lazarus them and then they beat him again to death. Everybody's an anti-sammai. So everybody's sick of hearing that crap. It's not true. It's used to bully Americans into submitting to a foreign country. So that's obvious.
Starting point is 01:20:04 Look, I feel uncomfortable agreeing with C. Bannon. He came around to our position, we didn't come around to his position. So he now, Steve, you didn't know about Israel first before? Well, now apparently he thinks, okay, I'm going to start talking about it now and make that distinction. No problem. And so, okay, last thing on what I think, and then we'll move to the Maga guys. So when Ben Shapiro was giving that speech, he said, you know, you have an obligation not to cover up evil. Yeah, that's why Tucker's speaking out against Israel, right?
Starting point is 01:20:37 So thank you for making our case for us. But as he's doing that, he's like, hey, look, 20,000 children murdered evil. And Ben Shapiro's like, shut him up. You have an obligation to speak against evil. Shut him up. Shut him up about our evil. And when I say are evil, Ben Shapiro, I mean, you'd have to be brain dead to not know that he cares more about Israel than America. I mean, is anyone really think that?
Starting point is 01:21:00 Like, oh, Ben, you know, he really is looking out for America first. Oh, Israel. Oh, he happened to hear me. Is that it? Oh, that's one of the foreign nations, right? Oh, yeah, I guess they're an ally. They're one of our allies. It's important.
Starting point is 01:21:11 No, all he can, everybody knows. Ben, you can keep calling everybody an anti-Semort. You can call 350 million Americans anti-Semite. We all know, dude, it's not, you're not very good at hiding it. That's the only thing you care about, only thing Mark Levin, Laura Lumer, et cetera, care about. Then he called Nick Frontes an evil troll. Ben, we're calling people evil trolls, are we?
Starting point is 01:21:34 Takes one to no one. So, okay, that's like his old career is being a little evil troll. Yeah, yeah, America should serve Israel. All right, brother. Oh, no, trope, trope, trope. Okay, no, but it isn't about, see, and the way that they hide behind all Jews is also extra vomitous, right? You say, hey, Ben Shapiro, you like Israel too much. This is anything about my friend Dave, right?
Starting point is 01:21:59 And you're trying to get America, and he's like, no, you're saying that Dave and Ben and Jason are saying, no, I never said that. You're saying that because you want to hide your disgusting pro-genocide policies behind good Jewish people who never signed up for it, okay? So all right, now more importantly, what does MAGA think? This is, Sharon, this is turning into a route. Like, it started as like, wait, can we say something against Israel? It feels wrong. It feels like we're going to be fired at any minute. And then it started to grow and grow and grow and now it's an inferno.
Starting point is 01:22:33 And so I feel like when I talk to people in the establishment that they live in a fantasy land. They think Ben Shapiro canceled Tucker Carlson at TV USA and it's already over. He doesn't exist anymore. What they don't know is Ben Shapiro got his ass handed to him there. Like they live on a completely different planet where Israel is the good guys and angelic. And the whole country, the whole rest of the country are filled with vicious haters of Jewish people who are like, let us attack, but they won't let them because they're the forces of good. I mean, they're hilarious. I've never seen people so detached from reality.
Starting point is 01:23:11 And those are all the people pretending to be objective reporters and politicians who represent us. It's become a big joke. So I, but the question is, yes, but all the people in power are still, almost all of them are Israel first. So what happens when an immovable object runs into an irresistible force, right? And on the right wing in America, we might soon find that out. Because Israel is an immovable object. They will not move. You must serve us.
Starting point is 01:23:48 Otherwise, we will ruin everyone who criticizes us. And MAGA, when they get ahead of steam, they're usual an irresistible force. So I don't know who's going to win that battle. Yeah. I mean, it's a train wreck, and it does feel like this one could be something. Don't look away because there seems to be that growing momentum. The final speaker, Jank, at America Fest, Vice President J.D. Vance. Vance didn't address Ben Shapiro by name, but it was still clear who the vice president was referring to.
Starting point is 01:24:20 Watch this. President Trump did not build the greatest coalition in politics by running his supporters through endless self-defeating purity tests. He says, make America great again because every American is invited. I didn't bring a list of conservatives to denounce or to de-platform, and I don't really care if some people out there, I'm sure we'll have the fake news media denounce me after this speech. But let me just say, the best way to honor Charlie is that none of us here should be doing something after Charlie's death that he himself refused to do in life. And we have far more important work to do than canceling each other. We have got to build. Meanwhile, MSNL commentator Joe Scarborough stated that the likes of Ben Shapiro and Mark Revin are being attacked by radicals who aren't.
Starting point is 01:25:21 even conservative. Here's the deal if you're a Jew at turning point, right? Watch out. If you're bin Shapiro, a guy who got pummeled with more anti-Semitic trash during the 2016 campaign and beyond. If you've been Shapiro or Mark Levin, man, you have been, you have just been totally savaged by this so-called, nothing conservative about him at all, the radicals. They're not even close to being conservative.
Starting point is 01:25:50 being conservative, but you're getting absolutely trashed there, a turning point. But yeah, I guess Jews not shouldn't apply. Yeah, I don't know, I guess, I guess there's a problem when you have a guy who's openly anti-Semitic attacking Jews, and he gets crushed for that? Crush for that. Jank, final thoughts on who's, I mean, it's hate to put it like this, but the winner or the loser of this one. I mean, as you said, Israel's not going anywhere. So what now?
Starting point is 01:26:28 So I think I know where the rubber hits the road. We'll see. So first, Morning Joe, perfectly emblematic of the establishment as usual, totally clueless. All these anti-Israel people are radicals, they're not conservative at all. Hmm, how dare anybody be anti-Israel? Nobody said anything about Jews need not apply? Who said that, right? So tons of Jewish people are in the Democratic Party, the Republican Party,
Starting point is 01:26:55 institutions of power, et cetera, and as well they should be. But nobody said that, and he's just making that up. And if they're attacking Fuentes, Fuentes wasn't at the event. They're attacking Fuentes and Owens who weren't at the event, but also anyone who happened to see them. Tucker Carlson once said, did an interview with them, so that's it. Cancellation by proxy, right? So, and eventually if you do that enough, all of Israel's critics are canceled in that,
Starting point is 01:27:25 then you have cable news. Cable news is, you know, Israel ass kissing 101 24-7, right? Not one cable news anchor is called it a genocide, when almost every genocide scholar is called it a genocide, Because they would never dare to criticize their beloved, beloved Israel that they value over anything else, including America. So that's my opinion. And J.D. Vance, where does he stand?
Starting point is 01:27:50 I have no freaking idea. J.D. Vance was created in a Petrie lab by Peter Thiel. So I, you know, but what that speech tells me about what J.D. Vance, who J.D. Vance thinks is that he thinks that the Tucker Carlson side is winning. That is why he said, no, Charlie's idea is not to cancel people, and I'm not going to do purity tests. So he's siding with the Bannon and Tucker Carlson. And really, at this point, the reason he's citing with that side is because when it comes to the voters, that's like 90. It's not 90% of all the voters, to be fair, 95% of the voters that are under 50 and online, right?
Starting point is 01:28:33 Some of the older voters still have been brainwashed by the Morning Joe's and stuff. Israel is our special ally. We owe Israel hundreds of billions of dollars. We should serve Israel, but we should borrow money from China to give to Israel because Israel is real, right? So yeah, those people still exist, but they're getting smaller and smaller. So Vance thinks America first has won. But none of that means anything other than policy. So the rubber meets the road on the memorandum of understanding.
Starting point is 01:29:07 Right now, Israel is demanding a 20-year guarantee from America that we give them another $80 to $100 billion, that we borrow that money from China and Japan and Germany, wherever we need to, we pay interest on it for the rest of our lives just so we can give it to beloved Israel. And what's Israel going to do with it? They're telling us every day, we're going to do greater Israel. We're going to attack all of our neighbors until we have half the Middle East. And they have maps of it. They're very clear. They call West Bank and Gaza Strip, Judea and Samaria. They're in Lebanon as we speak now, and they're in Syria as we speak now. And they're demanding that we attack Iran again, as we covered earlier in the show. So while America
Starting point is 01:29:52 of first has won hearts and minds in the right wing circles and voters, the overwhelming winner. In Washington, I don't think the Republican Party's moved one inch. I think they all still 100% serve Israel. And other than Tom Massey and Marjorie Taylor Green, I've seen no rebellion at all. So what happens when the voters wake up to the fact that their own representatives have been betraying them this whole time and working for a foreign government? government, let alone all the other donors, big formal oil, et cetera, wait till they find
Starting point is 01:30:26 out none of our so-called representatives to represent us at all. And their job is to rob us, to take our taxes, give it the governments and companies that are their donors. So that's the great awakening. That's what's happening now. And nobody knows how this collision ends, because the powerful won't move. They will only serve themselves. They will not serve the American people under penalty of law and the American people are super pissed about it. So we're all going to see how this movie ends together, but right now nobody knows. Yeah, we'll see if inside the Washington bubble, they continue to serve. I don't know how to commitment, fear, necessity, whatever it is, you would think, as the
Starting point is 01:31:08 tide seems to be turning, as there seems to be this shift, someone would say, you know, Maybe that's the winning side. I'll go over there. Much more to come. We'll take a quick social break. Tucker Carlson, a terrible friend. All right back on TYT, Lubey says Vance won't make it through the primaries, massive sleep fest. Lobbies for big poor says I grew up on 60 minutes in the 70s and 80s.
Starting point is 01:32:07 When I started paying attention to TYT, my thoughts were that I had finally found something as honest as 60 minutes. Well, you know, that's a big compliment and I appreciate you because 60 Minutes was the best in the business for a long, long time. And it is sad to see them get, you know, basically neutered just like almost all of our other corporate media. So, but thank you for that comparison. I appreciate it. Nerd for Ferguson says, right wing MAGA influencer drama is becoming more outlandish and cheesy than pro wrestling. Yeah, I hear you guys. But look, at least they're having an ideological battle, right? And they're hashing it out.
Starting point is 01:32:47 Our side is so calcified. We're like, when do we actually fight? So we're beginning to get frustrated Democratic leaderships and some fight is brewing, et cetera. But no, we need to have a really counting. I mean, this is number one problem from the Democratic Party is that our voters are unwilling to say, hey, that Democratic senator right there is a crook. He doesn't work for us at all. He works for the donors.
Starting point is 01:33:14 That's considered third rail, heresy, hair on fire. You cannot say that about the beloved Democrats. But that's 90% of them. Sorry, but they take the same donor money. It's just good cop, bad cop. We need to have a reckoning within the Democratic Party. Because it's so that the voters are represented. If you don't have that reckoning, you're not going to ever fix the problem.
Starting point is 01:33:39 So I think they're doing it right over there. I mean, they go to way extremes. I get it. And I'm against the extremes. But it's better than us. We were like, oh, they don't see anything. It's breaking a little bit, though. Like when Cory Booker, Gavin Newsom, et cetera, get challenged.
Starting point is 01:33:58 That used to never happen. Emberjack 09 says 20th anniversary, especially. I swear it was 15th anniversary like a year ago. Time has no meaning. Yeah, it is flying by. Tug and the tube and says, I was visiting a, around when the first treaty was under negotiation, the people there were full of optimism, and there was nowhere safer on earth for an American doctoral student to attend a TB conference.
Starting point is 01:34:20 And unless you're still in to Belmar, Iran, the minute you step in, they murder you. All Muslims are evil. My murderers, that's why we have to kill them first on behalf of Israel. Okay. Greg Hill says, jank, if Israel is all so powerful, how were past U.S. presence able to shut down their wars? No, no, we never shut that. Look, guys, first of all, nothing's black and white, right? Are there other factors?
Starting point is 01:34:43 Of course, there's other factors. Have they gained power and receded in power at different times, yes. Are they at near maximum power now, yes. But their wars overall have not ended. They just take a pause, and then they wait for things to calm down, and they go back to slaughtering. Oh, I'm sorry, doing self-defense and grabbing more land and more land. Where's the day?
Starting point is 01:35:03 It just attacked seven of their neighbors. So which wars have ended? None of them have ended. They're never going to end until they get almost the entire Middle East for greater Israel. S.M. says this dude, Bibi got his own room at the White House. He left his toothbrush last week. Yeah, apparently. Okay.
Starting point is 01:35:21 Check out shoptytot.com for TDR hats, a limited time. All right back on TYT, Jenk and Sharon, check out Sharon on Rebel Headquarters, check out our podcasting network. You get to listen to any of the shows anytime you want. So the promo code is gear up, use gear up as a promo code and get limited edition TDR hats and the activist collection 15% off. All right, tonight YouTube's our 20th anniversary on YouTube.
Starting point is 01:36:23 That's at 8 o'clock tonight in under half an hour. And then next Monday, Turks and Jerks. So everybody stick around for that. All right, Sharon, what's next? Vance, 28, Jenk. We're going to ensure that President Trump has Congress for all four years. We are going to get my husband's friend, J.D. Vance, elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible. Way to jump the gun. Erica Kirk raised a few eyebrows during her speech at Amfest over the weekend by publicly endorsing
Starting point is 01:37:03 J.D. Vance for president in 2028, despite the fact he has not yet announced plans to run. Zhang, you're two cents before we get into the rest. Yeah, we're going to show you a poll in a second of how the different contenders are doing. What's hilarious is that the polls don't include anyone who can actually win, in my opinion. So, and the second part is Erica Kirk endorsing J.D. Vance this early is curious. And others have also noted how curious it is. So come back and talk about both those things. Word of the day, curious.
Starting point is 01:37:41 Well, let's get to that poll jank talked about. According to the latest real clear politics, polling average, J.D. Vance, leads as the top contender for the Republican nominee with 48.8%. Don Jr., 11%. Marco Rubio, 9.3. DeSantis 9. Haley, where's she been, four and a half, and Kennedy, 4.3, we'll see. While Trump has been very noncommittal on the topic, Erica Kirk has been pushing for it over the past few months. She says it's what her late husband wanted. That was the thing that my husband was very direct about.
Starting point is 01:38:24 It was interesting enough, one of the last few conversations we had was how intentional he was. about supporting J.D. for 28. Yeah, he was totally behind J.D. And he was largely responsible for Trump picking J.D. Marco Rubio also backed the idea telling Vanity Fair this. If J.D. Vance runs for president, he's going to be our nominee, and I'll be one of the first people to support him. But is this really what Republicans want? Let's go back to that polling, shall we? A survey by Atlas Intel. shows that while the largest proportion of Republicans, 46.7%, would pick Vance in a hypothetical
Starting point is 01:39:05 contest between him, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and other figures, this is less than the 54.6% of support he accrued in Atlas until September polling. A few top Republicans have already refused to endorse him, including Rand Paul. What? I know it's early. What do you make of this? Is, is, Jady Vance, the era parent there? I think there needs to be representatives in the Republican Party who still believe international trade is good, who still believe in free market capitalism, who still believe in low taxes. See, it used to separate conservatives and liberals that conservatives thought it was a spending
Starting point is 01:39:48 problem, we didn't want more revenue, we wanted less spending. But now all these pro-terror protectionists, they love taxes. And so they tax, tax, tax, and then they brag about all the revenue coming in. That has never been a conservative position. So I'm going to continue to try to lead a conservative free market wing of the party. And we'll see where things lead over time. And that's not J.D. Vance. No.
Starting point is 01:40:13 Okay. Okay, so Rand Paul saying don't crown him just yet. Surprisingly, Lindsey Graham is also in that camp. Lindsay sidestep the question entirely when I asked on NBC if he would join slain conservative activist. Charlie Kirk's widow, Erica Kirk and endorsing Vance. I'm worried about tomorrow, but that's a big day for JD. He's somewhat cryptically told the network, quickly pivoting to praise President Donald Trump, escalation of tensions with Venezuela.
Starting point is 01:40:44 But after Vance's speech at Amphus, I wouldn't be surprised if more people hopped on the bandwagon. Jank, it's so early, as you said, you tease that there's no way anybody on our, on that polling list could win. So what does happen? What shakes out here? And why was Rubio so quick to say, oh, I don't want this when we believe, or at least I do, that he entered this administration because he saw it as a next step? So the establishment jury seems to be in. It looks like they're going J.D. Vance, Rubio is a ticket. Trump even talked about it. And he said, oh, Vance is great and Rubio's really good. My God, if they partnered up, that would be formidable. That's why Rubio is going, oh, no, no, I'm good with it. I'm good with it. He'd love a VP slot.
Starting point is 01:41:34 And so the fact that the establishment is supporting Vance so thoroughly all the way through to Erica Kirk, I think is an interesting sign. I wouldn't be on the side of the establishment if I'm on either party. And so the fact that the donor class seems to be thrilled with J.D. Vance is a huge warning sign if you ask me to America First, MAGA, etc., that he might not be the right guy. And I think that in the beginning they were noncommittal. In fact, when Trump was first asked about it, he's like, I don't know. And that's the correct answer, by the way. Nobody knows now. And why do we have to decide now? It's like years from now. So part of the reason that the mainstream media asks about it is because they love the horse race stuff, right? They don't want to comment
Starting point is 01:42:25 on policy because then they'll be called biased. But horse race is safe. So they like that kind stuff. But the second reason is when you ask early on, like in 2016, it's a trick. And so who's going to win the Democratic primary? They would ask in the year 2015, the year before. And everybody on TV would go, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton. It has to be Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Hillary Clinton. It's a way of doing propaganda and marketing, right? So then somebody alone voice, if ever, almost never, right? But I would scream from the internet, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:43:00 And very rarely I'd make it on the TV and say Bernie Sanders. And then the whole table would laugh. Bernie Sanders. So that's what they're doing in this case. And the fact that they're doing in favor of J.D. Vance speaks volumes. So now, J.D. was a little naughty, though, at TPUSA, at the Amfest thing, where he didn't agree with Ben Shapiro about canceling every single person that doesn't agree with Israel. So then Isaac Shore, another Israel first guy at Mediite, who loves to call everybody Jew haters, jumps out and goes, oh, you have to condemn the Jew haters. And J.D. Vance was not supine enough. He did not grovel at Israel's feet enough. He's been a naughty boy. So that's a warning to J.D. Vance.
Starting point is 01:43:45 Okay, not that Isaac's that powerful. He's just a random pipsqueak, but like he's just a symbolic of the Israel first crowd. And every once in a while when someone in public doesn't 100 support, 200% support Israel, they'll start to write dirty articles about it's a questionable moral character, Jew hater, et cetera, et cetera. And that's how they smear people. So that's a little warning shot to JD. Hey, you better get back in line, okay? And J.D. is apparently sophisticated enough, savvy enough to know I should pretend to be America
Starting point is 01:44:18 first at a minimum before I get into office. And then, of course, I'll be Israel first. And Palantir first, and Peter Thiel first, and Silicon Valley first, et cetera. So Rand Paul, of course, is not going to agree to this because Rand Paul's probably going to run against them. So keep it real on that. And he's right, there is huge differences on things like war and taxes and tariffs, et cetera. And then finally, none of these people on the list, it's not that they don't have a chance. J.D. Vance certainly has a chance. I don't think Rubio does.
Starting point is 01:44:48 I don't think Trump Jr. does. DeSantis, Ailey, Kennedy Jr., no, those guys don't have a chance. No, I think the leading candidate is Tucker Carlson. They won't put him in a poll because they're like, he's been canceled. And the idea that someone on TV or radio would run or online. No way. No, we only pick reality hosts like Donald Trump and actors like Ronald Reagan. Okay, so I think Tucker's most likely to win and I think Marjorie Taylor Green and Massey. I don't know that they'll run, but they could be interesting.
Starting point is 01:45:21 They could be interesting characters in this. I think Tucker beats all these guys easily. I don't, and I think that he'll, but I don't know. Like there's a lot of games behind the scenes that I don't know, Sharon. Right? So so far Tucker seems to be on Vance's side. I'm not sure I believe it and I and I don't know what to make of it. But sometimes you're on somebody's side until they're not. Right. So we'll see how it goes. But if you haven't let's this I do know. If there is a clear Israel first candidate and a clear America first candidate in a Republican primary in 2028, the America first candidate will win by a landslide. So that's why Israel first has to work around the clock now to try to prevent any America first candidate from running, because they'll trump the whole thing and be able to win. I mean, I know we're not supposed to do this, but if Tucker were to win the nomination,
Starting point is 01:46:27 who does he partner up with? Candace, his friend? No. No. I mean, you know, then he'd get more establishment. Boy, interesting stuff. Much more to come. We'll be right back. Do you view Vice President J.D. Vance as your successor? No. All right, let's go to super chat.
Starting point is 01:47:22 Jeff Stowe says, thanks for 20 plus years and God bless T.Y. Jeff, you're awesome. Thank you. Look, guys, you know, I have calm days. Well, do I have animated days, but thank you for sticking with me and us all through all these years. We appreciate you guys. We appreciate that you didn't get tired of my antics and that you want someone fighting for you. So I can't say enough good things about our audience.
Starting point is 01:47:53 All right, Metallica writes in or I Metallica, I wonder if this is all planning to make all Jewish people around the world feel unsafe and have them move to that colony. That's interesting you say that because I saw a video by Orthodox Jewish groups making that same point. So those are the guys who have been against the nationalism that Israel created from day one. They're like, it's not a good idea and it'll seep into the religion and pervert the religion, right? Oh my God, they turn out to be a totally right. And they're going around saying, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. They're trying to make you all scared so you run into Israel. This is all about nationalism, and they're putting Jews in danger to do that, right?
Starting point is 01:48:35 I think they're totally right. Ludebace says, I'm more convinced than ever that leverage Epstein had is the true power holding together an increasingly fragile geopolitical status quo. Well, there's a lot of evidence to that effect. I mean, he's apparently was, as I've told you, one of the most powerful people on earth. He was in the middle of the Iran-Contra affair. It's amazing the things that he did while being a civilian.
Starting point is 01:48:59 I know a lot of civilians who organized Israeli secret intelligence and the CIA to trade arms for weapons and run the planes that did that whole operation. There's a lot of civilians who do that. To this day, the New York Times says it's a conspiracy theory that EPSC might have been, might have been involved in intelligence agencies. I mean, it's hilarious. They're joke, their total joke. Michael Catalano says the idea of a foreign leader telling our president what our options are is absolutely nauseating. I wish Trump would play strongman now. By the way, I mean, that's my theory is that why, so the people in Israel love Trump now
Starting point is 01:49:40 because he's given them everything they wanted, go on heights and move the embassy, crush the Palestinians, et cetera. So he's super popular. But the reason why the leaders have not been on Trump's side, sometimes overtly and a lot of times covertly, the Israeli leaders, is, is because they think Trump's a wild card and they don't like wild cards. They like people, they can 100% control, like Joe Biden, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio. They don't want their servants disobeying them ever.
Starting point is 01:50:11 They think it's insolent. So Gray Scott, Epsilon says, the right is experiencing an awakening right now. Don't diminish it by calling to war. Israel is being exposed as a source of evil in multiple areas. This awakening is desperately needed by the left. No, no, but there's nothing wrong with a war. Like I said earlier, I wish we had a war on the Democratic side so we can clean out the corporate goons and the people oppressing us and fight for real Americans. All right, special is coming up in about 11 minutes, so stay right here for me and Anna as well.
Starting point is 01:50:42 We'll be right back. All right, back on T.I.T. Jank is sharing with you guys also. Big Stand 402 and Fat Saturday did it again. They both gifted Young Turks memberships on YouTube. We love this audience, open-minded, open-hearted. You guys are the best. Okay, Sharon, what's next?
Starting point is 01:51:13 Geheman Hakeem, Jank. Hakeem Jeffries remains the same guy we always thought he was, a guy who does the donor's bidding. And in this case, keeps those elected to lead the American people rich, all the rest of us get crumbs. House minority leaders actively undercutting a bipartisan effort to finally, finally ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks. I know you have a lot to say about this one. We'll get to the details and the tactics, but you're two cents, Jen. So I just mainly want to tell people this is a really interesting story because it shows you
Starting point is 01:51:51 how Democrats pretend to be on your side while actually being against you. Now, this has played that they've run hundreds of times, but this is a good example of it. So let's pay attention to what they do here to be able to pull that trick off. Here it is. For years, of course, we've talked about how corrupt this is, 80 to 90% of the public wants this ban. There's actually momentum, a discharge petition started by Republican Anna Polina Luna, had said, 74 signatures, including 15 Republicans. If every Democrat signed on, it would force a floor vote, and this could very well become, well, law. That easy. Finally.
Starting point is 01:52:33 But instead of taking the win for the American people, Jeffrey's got to work introducing a spoiler bill. His team is telling members not to sign the Luna petition. Instead, back his bill, which adds a key component. It's a ban for the president and vice president. It is a non-starter, though, of course, for Republicans who would never sign on to that effectively killing all chances. Any real reform gets done. It's all by design. Anyone who mistakes Minority Leader Jeffrey's efforts as well-intentioned extra toughness on the unfair practice of basically insider trading for members of Congress,
Starting point is 01:53:13 need only to recall recent history involving then House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's trading ban effort. That was back in 2022, not that long ago. That time, it extended to the Supreme Court, which also derailed bipartisan momentum. As Dylan Hettler Gaudet, the project on government oversight puts it, this is exactly what Pelosi did a few years ago. This is not only an unserious effort. It's an attempt to undermine and kill off the only bipartisan legislative vehicle that is gaining momentum. It is really bad faith all around.
Starting point is 01:53:51 According to reporting from the American prospect, Jeffrey's team is telling outside advocates to get in line with the leadership or risk losing access in the future. They're literally threatening people to prevent a popular anti-corruption bill from passing. Consider that. And let's just take a look, shall we, at the person they put at the front of this. it is Representative Seth Magiziner. The lead on the Democratic side for the bipartisan bill, yet he's the one sponsoring Jeffrey's partisan distraction.
Starting point is 01:54:25 Akeem Jeffries and Mike Johnson are playing games, blaming each other, of course, while ensuring their members can still profit from insider information. American publicist left alienated, of course, once again, disgusted too. They'd rather have a campaign slogan to yell about in 2026 than a law that actually stops the corruption when it comes to political insider greed, there are not two parties, of course, just one. And I'm wondering, I mean, I see them as not even particularly creative here.
Starting point is 01:54:56 It's kind of lazy, like they're running the same play. You don't even have to scout the other side. Yet this continues. And I don't know what can either wake up the American public or, you know, distracted with just affordability issues, but get people to call it out and get real change here. It seems like this will never change. Yeah, we need more brave representatives like Rokana. I mean, he's like a one-man army, but it'd be nice if there was three or four of them. Maybe they could take different avenues. This is the hardest one because it's pointing out
Starting point is 01:55:29 the hypocrisy or the lies of a fellow Democrat. And in Washington, that's considered like anything you can imagine, like to them, like us authorizing the death of hundreds of thousands of people is not anywhere near as bad as being impolite to a fellow Democrat. So let me explain the game that's being played here first. So on the surface, if when Hakeem Jeffries comes down goes, I'm trying to hold Trump and Vance accountable. The voters go, yeah, we want to hold Trump and Vance accountable. That sounds like a good idea, right?
Starting point is 01:56:03 So that sounds like a win for them. And so they say, plus look at the Republican hypocrisy. They say Congress should not be able to trade stocks, but the White House should be able to. Oh, yeah, we get people on our side. But the reality is totally different. The reality is, yes, the Republicans are hypocrites, I'll come back to them in a second. So, but whether they are or aren't, they're not going to vote for the bill that includes the White House in it.
Starting point is 01:56:32 Hakeem Jeffries knows that. He inserts that not out of naivete, but purposely to tank the bill to make sure it doesn't pass because he doesn't want it to pass. Now here's a counter proposal, for example, that could easily get this done. You say yes to this bill, you got the 15 Republicans, you all vote on it, and you, the Democratic Party looks like it's anti-corruption because it literally passed the bill that was anti-corruption. A minority Republicans agreed with you, the entire Democratic Party agrees, we should be against corruption, and that would get 90% of the job done at that point anyway.
Starting point is 01:57:10 And that is very rare, because almost never do Republicans cross over. Here we have a beautiful opportunity for Republicans to cross over to our side, in terms of at least anti-corruption policies, and get a huge win. And then after that, there's nothing stopping you from introducing a bill saying, hey, since we just passed it for Congress, it should also apply to the White House. So it's a trick, guys. There's no reason why you couldn't do that after you get 90% of the job done. It's just that the Democrats in Congress want to be able to trade on stocks.
Starting point is 01:57:48 And maybe they have a legitimate argument, but they've never made one. Instead, they've pretended they're in favor of this while quietly, secretly killing it off. And so what we need, Sharon, is in this case, Like, establishment media has covered up all the crimes of the corporate Democrats and the corporate Republicans, right? So if you talk about this in Establishers, they never even talk about this. But if they talked about it, they would tell you that Hakeem is fighting for the Democratic voters. And Hakeem's an amazing leader and a masterful legislator and a blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, right? No, we need more people calling BS.
Starting point is 01:58:29 So we've been doing it for 20 straight years and we've been battered by the Democratic leadership. And guys, whenever I say the Democrats are lying you, et cetera, of course I mean the politicians and the leadership, they're lying to their own voters. The Democratic voters are the ones we have to protect, along with all the voters. So, but you can't, like so far online media has not been able to, at least on the left, been able to overwhelm establishment media. And now we're making a lot more headway. Now people realize democratic leadership sucks, as we've been telling them this entire time. They take donor money like we've been telling you this entire time. They're corrupt like we've been telling you, et cetera.
Starting point is 01:59:09 But it still hasn't crossed a tipping point in my opinion. So but the way you get into establishment media is you get esteemed legislators to say it on the record. So for example, if AOC came out and said what Akeem Jeffries is doing is ridiculous. We should take the win, apply the stock ban to Congress, and then introduce a bill to go get Trump advance. We hit both birds with one stone, but she won't say that because then, oh, she has offended Hakeem Jeffries, she's been naughty and all the other Democrats will yell at her and mainstream media will yell at her. And she doesn't want that, she doesn't want that fight, she doesn't want to be uncomfortable.
Starting point is 01:59:49 That's why, and I'm just, I say AOC because she's a big example of it, but apply to literally everyone else in Congress minus Rokana and Bernie Sanders. Where are they? So they'll never oppose Hakeem. So this is just going to go around and around. And our own voters, Sharon, honestly get lied to more than the Republican voters do, because at least the Republicans fight within themselves. And you get to hear the two options, right?
Starting point is 02:00:16 On our side, we're like a voice in the wilderness going, they're lying to you. They're never going to do the policies. And we could prove it like we do in this case. And the rest of the media and politicians are like, bow your heads, otherwise you support Trump, make sure that the corporate donors win, all right? There's a little bit of a rebellion. I hope the rebellion gets much, much larger. But for now, the fix is in.
Starting point is 02:00:44 I mean, that's just the way I feel about it. For now, the fix is in. What good is being a minority leader if you're not really the leader and Nancy Pelosi's telling you do this and yep, I'll do it just because I want that position and the power of the money that goes with it, I guess. It's been real. I'm gonna be watching this special. All right, sounds good. That's Akeem Jeffrey's entire career in a nutshell, by the way. All right, when we come back, a 20th anniversary special on YouTube, you're crazy dog.
Starting point is 02:01:11 We're gonna have a really good time going over the 20 years, so come right back for it. and 30 other networks. We tell the truth on indisputable because the truth is indisputable. We go places that other news, media outlets refuse to go when there were human rights abuses happening at the Victorville Prison.
Starting point is 02:01:44 Guards and members of the community contacted us. You, through your investigative reporting, unearthed, very troubling allegations about specific forms of abuse and discrimination in the federal prison system. It really doesn't take much to be a trusted boy.
Starting point is 02:01:59 All it takes is to be fearless, report on matters, be an advocate. I called it the bullpen intentionally because it's a place of preparation. We present individuals who may have an opposing view, so we debate. Sometimes we interview individuals because their stories deserve to be heard. A survivor of significant police misconduct and his attorney. We covered this story earlier and to remind you of the horror of one man being shot at damn near 100 times by the police. take time on this show to showcase the temper tantrums of Cairns in the wild. We do this not because we want to see people's emotional outburst in public, or because these incidents are emblematic
Starting point is 02:02:38 of a bigger societal issue taking place across the nation, and it has to be checked. My friend, my big homie, attorney at law, Benjamin Crock. I just want to thank you, man, an educated, articulate brothers like yourself speak truth to power. It makes a great difference in changing the landscape in America. Listen, no matter what you do, don't allow the politics of ideology to evaporate the soul that still exists inside of you. They don't stop, I don't stop. Racism won't stop. I won't stop. Systemic bias won't stop. I won't stop. People still need health care, so I won't stop. People still need criminal justice systems reform, so I won't stop. You won't stop. I'm wearing one of our pieces of merchandise. So the funny thing about
Starting point is 02:03:27 the Dragon Squad, and that's what our viewers call themselves. That's the name of the group, but every individual chooses their own name. You might have Cincinnati Dragon. You might have Harry Potter Dragon. We have a Grandma Sunshine Dragon, is one of those that I remember. These are people that like to have an element of themselves, their lives what's significant to them reflected as a part of the community. But the concept of the Dragon Squad is just something I threw away as a joke. I was mocking the proud boys, these like right wing groups that come up with a name for themselves that they think is cool, but it's actually really lame. And I thought, you know, off the top of my head, I can come up with something that's still kind of lame, but much cooler.
Starting point is 02:04:02 And so I threw out Dragon Squad. And I just moved on with my life. But everybody liked it. And so they kept it going. And so we've embraced it. And I think again, it was this was during the period of the pandemic. I think it was it was sort of nice to have a renewed sense of community, a feeling that you're a part of something when everything seems so chaotic. And as a result of that, we've got independent artists on streaming, making beautiful digital art of dragons. We've got, you know, we've released a number of pieces of merchandise that people love sending us photos of them. And then by the way, for me personally, people send me, like you can probably see in the background, like a knitted dragon, someone sent me. There's a dragon book they sent me. Dragon board games they send me. People have done like custom ironworks making dragon bottle openers. Like the fans are super invested in diamond art and things like that. And so it's great that they send this stuff. Sometime we're going to have to set up a wall of all of it. But yeah, it's definitely brought
Starting point is 02:05:04 the community a lot closer together. The fact that we were no longer in this big studio, I felt a lot more personally attached to people. It felt very immediate. And I know that I personally needed the connection. All right, welcome to the TYT 20th anniversary on YouTube. Jake Ugar, Anna Kasparin with you guys. Anna, you're off this week, but you're coming back to do a special, so we appreciate it, sister. Of course. I mean, how could I not be here for the anniversary special? I feel like that would be kind of lame. So 20 years here, I'll do a shout out real quick to the folks who just joined, but people have been joining for the entirety of this time here.
Starting point is 02:06:12 We actually came up with membership back in 2005, so it's our 20th anniversary for that as well. S. Box Shalian just joined and Mark Sayers upgraded to premium through the join button. You guys are amazing. You're the heart of this show and this network. We, you know, when we first started, we had nothing, and we did it out of my living room. Anna wasn't around for those days, but that was 23 years ago. We started out at Sirius Satellite Radio's first original talk show. And then we moved to a small radio, well, it wasn't a radio office.
Starting point is 02:06:44 We took the tiniest little office you've ever seen, and we turned into a radio studio. By the time Anna joined us, we had moved on to online video. We just kind of started. So Anna, has it been, what, 19 out of 20 years for yours along those lines online? Yeah, so in April, it'll be 19 years, which is depressing, to be honest with you. So depressing. That's literally half your lifetime. Okay?
Starting point is 02:07:13 Okay, so anyways, but I'm super proud of it, to be honest. honest with you. Look, I'm proud that we built it with a community. I've told a story many times of folks coming in and literally giving us equipment worth thousands of dollars, giving us advice. We built this thing together and we raised money for this studio. We wouldn't have had it without the audience. We did hire reporters with money that the audience gave us. On and on and on it goes. And at this point, let me give you some stats on. on the Young Turks channel, that's the flagship show, TYT, of course. Ooh, stats.
Starting point is 02:07:55 Stats are fun, always. Excite. Okay, you ready? So right now, Young Turks channel on YouTube stands as 6.37 million subscribers. We have over 70,000 videos and over 7.2 billion views. So, a lot of views. Yeah, let me give you a little bit more. Let me give you some context for the TYT network over.
Starting point is 02:08:19 overall, which is many more shows, damage report, indisputable watch list than it goes on, Rebel HQ, etc. We overall on YouTube, we have 14.3 million subscribers. We had over 164, nearly 165,000 videos, and over 13 billion views. And these are all just on YouTube. When you include Facebook, Snapchat, and all the other platforms are on, we're at over 31. 1 million, no, 30 million subscribers and 31 billion lifetime views. Last set of stats here. Hours watch to give you a sense of context on that. 561 million hours or 23,3,375,000 days, or 64,041 years, or 640,040 centuries.
Starting point is 02:09:16 people have watched us for the equivalent of 640 centuries. So Anna, A, if I told anybody, but B, probably if I told you, you know, when you came in 18, 19 years ago, oh, we're going to get to 31 billion views and 30 million subscribers, et cetera. Not very many people would have believed us, right? Yeah, I guess you're right about that. a lot of people wouldn't believe us, but I believed in us. You obviously believed in what you were doing and what you were launching with TYT. And the fact that you believed in it made me confident in its success. You know what I'm saying? And it's interesting because all these years have passed by, all these
Starting point is 02:10:03 decades have gone by. And we've hit so many different milestones and it's worth celebrating. but something that I bring up to you privately all the time is the fact that like the early years of TYT are the years that I long for the most because no one was really listening to us. There was a certain level of freedom to that. And honestly, I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that reaching your goal is like the ultimate, you know, like it's going to feel so good. It's the best thing in the world. But sometimes the journey is even better.
Starting point is 02:10:37 So I think about the journey and even though obviously we've had plenty of downs to go with the ups, I think fondly on all the work that we put into building TYT. Yeah, absolutely. And I'm going to show you our first ever video on YouTube at a minute. But first I wanted to say, look, when I first started and I'd say to people that were on YouTube, they snicker or they'd ask what is that? and people were enormously dismissive. Now somebody asked earlier in the show, one of our members did,
Starting point is 02:11:11 do your kids think it's cool, eclectic did, that you're the original YouTuber or do they roll their eyes? And my answer was, no, they rolled their eyes, but their friends find it impressive. Like now people, people are like, oh my God, you're a YouTuber. And if you told me 20 years ago, somebody's going to say, oh my God, you're a YouTuber, I would have been like, wow, really. I mean, I believed all along, but I'm not even sure that I would have thought that that would be a big deal, right?
Starting point is 02:11:40 Right. I have a nephew. So I'm in a Florida visiting family, and I have a nephew who's around like 10, 11 years old. And, you know, he's savvy. He knows how hip online content creators and influencers are. And I guess he never thought to like look me up because I do news and I talk about politics and he's a kid and he doesn't really care too much about that. But I guess he like looked me up and saw our following on YouTube and he like came up to me with like his own business plan. He's like, you should be a billionaire by now. You have you guys have a lot of subscribers. I saw your Instagram. You have a lot of followers. You must, you know, if you're not a billionaire yet, you're doing something wrong. And it's like it doesn't quite work out that way. But I do love that. I now have kudos from my, for my nephew who previously didn't seem that interested in my career at all. Yeah, like YouTube is now like the number one most wanted career path when they ask kids in polls. So God help us all. But anyways, and no, instead we use the money to build a network so we could have more collective strengths. God help us and it's been a ride.
Starting point is 02:12:53 All right, last thing before I show you the videos, all these people started being super generous. center throughout the day, but just sent another 25 memberships on YouTube. Constance Guvira sent 20 and sent $20 in a super chat, collecting miscellaneous five as well. You guys are awesome, guys. We love you. All right. So here is a part of the first Young Turks video on YouTube.
Starting point is 02:13:19 First of all. So it's Iraqis and insurgents that are killing Iraqis. And if we leave, there's going to be a whole lot more than 30,000. So now you're changing the topic, Marty. So now you're changing the topic, Marty. So you understand that we're needlessly fighting 90% of the people we shouldn't be fighting and that they weren't going to come over to America, that they weren't part of the global war on terror, that we picked the fight with them.
Starting point is 02:13:42 We picked the fight with them. I walked in one morning and I saw the second plane live on TV. Marty, can you, listen, can you tell the difference between an Iraqi and a Saudi Arabian or an Afghani? Can you? My guess is no. Saddam Hussein, intelligent There it is. Saddam Hussein had links with al-Qaeda.
Starting point is 02:14:05 No, I did it, Marty, you're crazy. You're crazy, Marty, what is it take? What is it take? Do you read the paper? Do you do anything other than watch Rush Limbaugh? And Fox News, listen to Rush Limbaugh and watch Fox. Come on. So good.
Starting point is 02:14:21 So good. Even though, like, I'm constantly telling you, Jank, less yes, less shouting, less yelling. There was a lot of yelling in the early days too. And it was justified as it is now, as it is now. But, you know, I just, I just loved how we find ourselves in the exact same position foreign policy wise today as we did in the early aughts.
Starting point is 02:14:45 Like, I love watching those old videos and thinking about how we are currently getting dragged into a war with Iran, which I don't want to get into too much politics, but it's just amazing. No, I mean, it's identical, right? 20 years later, history repeats itself, nothing ever changes, and the young Turks stands a post, right? And we've been screaming into the abyss for 20 straight years, don't, don't go into Iraq, they're not associated with al-Qaeda, don't go to Iran, they don't have nukes, and they're
Starting point is 02:15:17 not with ISIS, they hate ISIS, don't, don't, don't listen to the donors, don't listen to the media, they don't have your best interest in mind. But I'll tell you, Anna, so first of all, that was a normal for me to yell, apparently, from literally the first video ever to today where Anna's right, I was yelling on the first hour about not going into war. But one of the rare times that Ben yelled on air, that was like one of like maybe three times that's ever happened. Ironically, it was in the first video.
Starting point is 02:15:47 That's Ben Manquitz, of course. For those of you who don't know, and these days he's the host of Turner Classic movies comes on old school every once in a while. We used to do all the election coverage with Ben for a long time. But Anna, while things have not changed if for the establishment, and they're doing the same exact tricks, in fact, we wanna go to war with Venezuela now, they just called fentanyl weapons of mass destruction. I mean, we're really perfectly full circle in 20 years, right?
Starting point is 02:16:15 But I feel like the media has changed, partly because of YouTube, and that the Voters now are in a rebellion that we did not have at all 20 years ago. Well, I think what's different today is that so many of those soldiers who were sent on multiple deployments to the Middle East in the early odds after being lied to about Iraq, it's alleged role in 9-11, which didn't exist, and the weapons of mass destruction, which also didn't exist. You know, these are people who saw firsthand and experienced firsthand the ramifications of being lied into war. And a lot of those folks happen to be on the right, Republican voting individuals. I think that they've wizened up to the reality, which is why you're starting to
Starting point is 02:17:03 see more and more voices, more dissident voices on the right or on the conservative side of the political aisle. Whereas in the early odds, you didn't have that at all. You know, the anti-war crowd was mostly on the left. And yes, there were also some libertarians who were very much anti-war, steadfastly so and remain anti-war today. But the early odds were a really difficult time. You know, when I get frustrated with all of the lies that some people in this country buy into as it's being spouted by Israel and its supporters, I try to remember the fact that for the first time, unlike the early aughts, we have bipartisan support for a crazy concept. And a crazy anti-war concept that actually seeks to put Americans in America first as a priority.
Starting point is 02:17:53 So I have a little bit of hope because of that. The real question is, you know, will this opportunity be squandered or will the momentum die down? I don't know. But what I do know is I want to be nimble and I want to be open-minded and I want to work with like-minded people to save as many lives as possible and avoid going to wars that we really shouldn't be involved in at all. Yeah, you know, I think that that historical context might be the difference between how we view some things and how some of the younger leftist view things online, to be honest. Definitely, definitely. And I don't blame them. I don't blame them because I have to remember, I became politicized at a completely different time. And so for me, getting lied into war is one of the most infuriating things imaginable. That is what politicized me when I was in high school and the lead up to the Iraq war. We didn't have any allyship or anyone on the right who agreed with us at all. And honestly, when it comes to fighting back against the weapons contractors, the military industrial complex, that's going to take more than a partisan battle.
Starting point is 02:19:02 It's going to take people from both sides of the aisle, voices who actually believe in the anti-war cause to push for foreign policy that actually benefits the American people. You know what I'm saying? So yeah. Yeah. In the past Anna, my experience was the Republicans were a brick wall. There was no point in talking to them. They were never going to diverge 1% from any of their policies. And it wasn't just that they didn't diverge, they would give you the exact talking point
Starting point is 02:19:31 that Sean Hannity or Rush Limor or Bill O'Reilly had put in their heads. And it never varied. So it was a useless exercise. So just a little while ago, about a year and a half ago, and it actually partly started with Charlie Kirk. He comes on, and Charlie Kirk said a lot of things we don't agree with, et cetera. I think it's obvious, but you have to explain it to people anew again, right? But he started saying some things that we were shocked that we agree with,
Starting point is 02:20:00 banned private equity from buying residential real estate. And even earlier than that, an anti-war movement started on the right. if you grew up with an anti-war movement on the right, you would think that's normal. But for 80, 90% of the time we've been doing news, anti-war on the right was not a thing anybody had ever heard of, right? It just didn't exist. So when we see anti-war coming from the right, as old-timers, and I'll speak for myself there, Anna, sorry, okay, but of having done this show and against,
Starting point is 02:20:38 fought all these battles against Republicans, right wing, et cetera. For the first time, we see anti-war saying, yes, we agree with you. Iraq war was wrong. Dick Cheney is a monster, we should be anti-war. And I'm blown away by that. And I want to say, oh, fantastic. The cavalry in some ways arrived, and we'll take yes for an answer there. But for young people that just grew up with that, they're like, not good enough.
Starting point is 02:21:04 They have to agree to everything we want. But why would they? They're on the opposite side. So look, I do think that that group exists, the one that you're describing right now, but I actually think, and I don't blame people for feeling this way. I think there are a lot of people on the left who just don't trust the right when they claim, you know, the members of the right who say they're anti-war. Like, I don't blame anyone who is distrusting toward Tucker Carlson because it took me a really,
Starting point is 02:21:33 really long time and consuming a lot of his programming to really believe that he had evolved on issues that are huge and matter to me, right? Now, he's also very much anti-reproductive rights. Obviously, I am against his views on that. He is, his views on the LGBTQ community, I don't agree with. But I am able to put that aside for the, I would argue, the biggest geopolitical issue of our time. And it's the ongoing, unmitigated U.S. support for Israel, which has led to us invading countries preemptively, which has led to us creating hostility toward the United States in the Middle East, which has led to us funding literal jihadi and terrorist groups in the Middle East on behalf of Israel. So all of this stuff really, really matters to me.
Starting point is 02:22:29 And I have to accept the fact that it might not matter as much to other people. people, whether they're on the left or the right. The question is, are you willing to put your differences aside for the issues that really, really do matter to you? And for me, this issue really matters to me. I see this as honestly a crisis that will determine the future of our country. Because if we continue on with this, honestly, parasitic relationship that we have with Israel, I don't think our country is going to be in a good position. I mean, we're not in a good position now. We're $38 trillion in debt. And we're still providing billions of dollars. to Israel. And not to make our special about it, but I'm just trying to really emphasize what
Starting point is 02:23:09 my priorities are. I accept that my priorities are going to be different from other people, but don't judge me if I'm willing to work with others who I have other disagreements with if I'm working toward a goal. And in this case, it's better foreign policy and hopefully eventually a decoupling from Israel. Yeah. So again, if you had told me five years ago, let alone 20 or 15 or 10 years ago, there'll be an anti-genocide group within the right wing that says that Israel should stop abusing the Palestinians. Honestly, you lost your mind. There's no way that's going to happen.
Starting point is 02:23:45 You know, I love predictions. And in fact, we have a prediction I got wrong, the one I got wrong later in the program. The one. The one. The one. It is the one. Okay, but anyway, we can debate that. And we've got our weirdest videos coming up, our most viewed videos coming up.
Starting point is 02:24:02 All that is fun. But this stuff is important, right? So, and the changes that's happened in those 20 years is important and interesting. And I think that the core of it is media. So my theory has been all along that the reason why the Republicans sounded like ditto heads, as Rush Limbaugh used to call them, is because they would literally be fed an assembly line of propaganda. But to be fair, the Democrats, as we've been telling you all along as well, have also been fed propaganda.
Starting point is 02:24:27 One is Fox News, the other ones MSNBC. They agree on economic issues, they agree to serve the donors, but they disagree on the culture war stuff and get us to fight. So the fact that there is what I'm calling a great awakening where people are beginning to see that dynamic with their own eyes. They're beginning to realize that politics is theater. They're beginning to realize that the donors control everything, and it's not just about Israel.
Starting point is 02:24:50 The core of the great awakening about is about whether we control our own government, own government or not, do we truly live in a democracy? And way before this Israel issue became a huge hot button issue, Princeton and Northwestern had already done a study showing you studying 20 years of bills, 2,000 pieces of legislation that the bottom 90% of Americans had zero impact on policy in America, zero, statistically insignificant. So we've been under corporate rule and a little bit of foreign government rule for as long as we've been doing this show, the thing that has, that has not changed. What has changed
Starting point is 02:25:28 is people beginning to realize it. Why? Because the assembly line got crushed to pieces. The assembly line is broken up now. Mainstream media is in a lot of trouble. They still have substantial power. They still drive the narrative but by an inch. And in online media, which also now has begun to drive the narrative on a lot of issues. In online media, people work for themselves. They don't have to lie on behalf of Rupert Murdoch. Why could we never have an honest debate with a Fox News channel host? Because they worked at Fox News, and they were paid $5 million, $20 million, $40 million a year to do exactly as Murdoch ordered them to do. Murdoch was pro-Israel.
Starting point is 02:26:10 Murdoch was pro-war. Murdoch was all of these things. So they were a bunch of robots. Now they're doing their own shows. Media has begin to separate out and have so many independent shows. shows and those shows are beginning to tell the truth because they have no incentive not to. In fact, they now have an incentive to tell the truth because that's the only way that you can get a large enough audience. So the media dynamic has changed and
Starting point is 02:26:36 it's partly because of YouTube and online media and online video and I'm super proud that we were there in the beginning and saw all of it evolve and we're, you know, and you say I'm the original YouTuber, you could say I'm father time, right? But we've standing a post for 20 years telling everybody the same thing. The fact that the rest of the country is in some ways catching up across the political spectrum is awesome. It's great news for our 20th. So one last thing here for this segment, I want to show you all the different shows within
Starting point is 02:27:09 the TYT network because what happened guys is we started doing Young Turks, then we're like, well, we do a bunch of interviews and Anna used to book the interviews back then when she was a producer and we're like, why don't we do a second channel, call it TYT interviews, right? We'll just take the interviews, we'll put it up there. And then Ben loved the movies, and we all love the movies, but obviously he's an expert on it. So we started What the Flick, and we started doing movie reviews, and we brought in Mad Achity from Rotten Tomatoes and Chrissy Lemire from the Associated Press. There's a beautiful show, but a lot of you might not know all the different shows and channels
Starting point is 02:27:42 we have, so let me just real quick go over them for you guys. Obviously there's TYT meaning the Young Turks, then there's rebel headquarters, damage report, TYT sports, indisputable with Dr. Rashad Ritchie, TYT investigates, the watch list, democracy watch, comedian destroys, Karen's gone wild, resistance report, TYT network, No More Wars, Police scam network, WTF politics, the conversation and the revolution. And that doesn't even include our past channels like what the flick, nerd alert, and many, many others. No more wars is our channel, that's hilarious because I thought someone was just like taking
Starting point is 02:28:21 our content like reposting it. Yeah, we are. That's amazing. Okay. Because people repost our content all the time. In fact, all the time. Yeah, that's going to get to one of the most popular videos we've ever done. Okay, Anna, before we should we take a break? Yeah, okay. Let's take a break real quick, guys. Weirdest videos, most popular videos. Then I want to ask Anna more questions about these last 20 years. We'll be right back. Every day, the Young Turks delivers two hours of solid, fact-based, timely news, and progressive commentary on all the day's most important stories. We keep our viewers informed while also providing perspective and insight on the news we cover, so you understand not only what's happening, but also what's happening behind the scenes, the stories behind the stories. We play musical chairs and put these children in one awful detention facility.
Starting point is 02:29:21 to the next. That's what's happening at the border. The things that got him banned, he's still spreading. So presumably, I think it's reasonable to say that if you allow him back on the website, he's going to do it again. Any legal voter that we deem not willing to vote for my side shouldn't vote because it'll replace me that's supposed to vote for my side. That's not how voting works. That's not how democracy worked. And while many people following today's political news can get discouraged about the direction of the nation and the world, that's not us. At TYT, we're genuinely optimistic about the future. And with good reason, today, wide majority of Americans agree with our progressive stances on issues ranging from health care and education
Starting point is 02:29:56 to climate, immigration, and wages. The rising generation of young people are also overwhelmingly progressive in their political beliefs and policy objectives. And they're increasingly flexing their muscle as voters and activists to demand change from our elected officials. The traditional mainstream media is mostly AWOL. They, along with the government and many other cherished institutions, have been captured by corporate interests. Audiences sense that they're not getting the whole story or even the truth from once trusted outlets, whether broadcasting cable TV news networks or national newspapers and magazines. The antidote is the Young Turks. Unlike mainstream corporate outlets, we're not beholden to corporate advertisers, the defense contractors, the Wall
Starting point is 02:30:35 Street, or to Big Farmer, and we don't carry water for the Republican or Democratic parties. So watch us Monday to Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Pacific, and join the thousands of progressives around the globe who tune in every day for TYT's unmatched award-winning content and see what it's like to experience a news organization that only answers to you. All right, back on TYT, 20-year anniversary on YouTube, Jank and Anna with you guys. With it, gal, thank you for gifting five Young Tourist memberships on YouTube. We appreciate you. You guys have written in some beautiful things.
Starting point is 02:31:42 We are going to do a bonus episode for the members, the super chats, and other member comments. I'll read them. And then Anna has a bunch of videos that she wants to, you know, give us in the last part, which are our favorite clips. I was going to say largely making fun of me, but that's dispersed throughout. Okay, so we'll see. We'll get to all that. But first, we promised you some of the weirdest and most viral videos we had. So let's start to to show you that. Woman in Ukraine is getting a lot of media attention because she looks like a real life anime character.
Starting point is 02:32:23 There she is. That can't be real. That's what everybody's saying. It can't be real. You're telling me that that's a real person not Photoshop. I don't know, look, there is a possibility that these photos might be photoshopped. However, I watched a few of her videos on YouTube and that's what she looks like. Jesus, I want you to go to the picture.
Starting point is 02:32:43 And, okay, so. Oh, Jesus and Lord Mercy, what is that? That's, look, hold on. Ice cream is good, except it would be gigantic. Okay, that's a good guess. The second thing I thought was that it was like a boa constrictor or something. So what does it turn out to be? It's actually mechanically separated poultry.
Starting point is 02:33:00 That sounds delicious. And this substance that you see here, which is known as poultry paste, is used in mass-produced chicken nuggets. Don't. Oh, the thumbnail for that video, by the way, top notch. Yeah, top notch. So look, we'll show you some of the thumbnails here. And these got monster views back in the day. So which will lead me to a little bit of a discussion of algorithms.
Starting point is 02:33:31 But our most popular videos, women shows face after chimp attack, 15 million views. That was such a terrible story, like absolutely heartbreaking. Yeah. You forget they're actually wild animals. So you gotta be careful. Yeah, she doesn't forget. What are chicken nuggets made of? 13 million views, the anime girl, 13 million views.
Starting point is 02:33:54 Cops freak out when armed residents answer door, 12 million. Cupp arrest cop, 10 million. I remember that one really well. You'll never flirt the same way after watching this, 10 million. So look, this is gonna be a little bit of a ironic, compliment to YouTube. So YouTube has been the best in being objective and fair with their algorithms. Some of the algorithm changes helped us. Some of them hurt us. But they were fair throughout, in my opinion. And so, and back in the day when we first started, we could do a
Starting point is 02:34:30 super interesting show that is, was half politics or two-thirds politics, but gave you interesting fun stories, et cetera. We still do that from time. to time. But honestly, YouTube punishes us if we do that. And so they don't make an active decision. YouTube's not a person. But their algorithm is built. You must do the same content over and over and over and over and over again. And if you don't, then the algorithm gods will curse you. And so for a long time, we did entertainment videos that were fun just like that. But you know, your political videos would get a lot of views and then the other videos would get no views. And so slowly, YouTube crushed diversity. They don't want you
Starting point is 02:35:17 to do diversity at all. And that's why a lot of the channels, they maniacally repeat the same things. We still do a great variety. And to people, sometimes to people's frustration, right? But a lot of the channels are like, Trump bad, Trump's about to lose, Trump's about to lose, or Trump great, Trump great, et cetera. So I wish they'd go back to some of the older algorithms that encourage diversity and having fun and learning about new things, different things. But at this point, we're severely punished if we do that. We still do it, but not as much as we used to. And what's your take on that?
Starting point is 02:35:52 My take is we should probably talk about something more uplifting and interesting to the audience than algorithms. Yeah, that's my take. No, no, but like, that's why I give it in that context because I don't like, some people look at those old videos, Oh, what do you care what chicken nuggets are made of? You should do serious political commentary, right? Everyone cares, everyone cares. Of course everybody cares. That's why I got 13 million views.
Starting point is 02:36:13 Name a single parent who doesn't give their kid chicken nuggets because it's literally the only thing their kids eat. Like what is it with kids and chicken nuggets? They're obsessed. No. So everyone cares, everyone. I know, I know. And I wish we could do more of it. I just wondered, because people might be wondering, why don't you still do way more of that stuff?
Starting point is 02:36:32 Because, yeah, it'll, the algorithm will despise it. So what are we going to do? You've got to live in the battlefield you have. All right, so now our most impactful video I present. I don't care if you're Christian. In fact, I will fight for you to have your religious liberty and practice your Christianity. I believe in that. I don't believe in Christianity, which means that you do not get to dictate the way
Starting point is 02:37:02 I live my life based on your religion. I don't care what the Bible says. You have every right in the world. All those women who identify with your religion have every right in the world to not get an abortion, to not take birth control. But they do not have the right to dictate my life. And what I decide to do with my body, I don't care about your goddamn religion. I'm so tired of having non-stop conversations about what the Bible says.
Starting point is 02:37:29 You live your life in the way that you interpret the Bible. Again, I don't care, but you don't get to take the Bible and tell me, well, the Bible says this, in this chapter and this verse, I don't care. I don't care. I don't believe in it. And I have the right based on our Constitution to not believe in it. So Anna, that was not, so that was on a video that we did. It was in the middle of a video, a much longer one.
Starting point is 02:37:55 Somebody, it wasn't us, somebody else took that clip, put it up on. on TikTok where I believe the original clip got 56 million views and then a lot. Yeah, and a whole bunch of other people also put it up and those got millions of views. So how do you feel about that one video alone getting viewed at least 60 million times? I feel fine about it, but what I think about is how much I've come to realize since 2018 that our constitutional rights don't really seem to mean much according to our politicians. So while I certainly believe in religious liberty, okay, meaning just because I don't practice one religion or the other, it doesn't mean I don't respect your right to practice your
Starting point is 02:38:46 religion. But as we're learning with the First Amendment, our rights really don't matter that much. I mean, there really is an endless power struggle. And if the powerful decides, that our government should violate our First Amendment rights, they'll do it. And they've been doing it, certainly over the last two years. And those efforts have been ramped up over the last several months. So I look back at 2018, Anna, and there's something very endearing about how naive I was in thinking that the rights that are afforded to us in our Constitution are actually being protected. They're not. Okay. Well, then you're going to make me, ask you a kind of a serious question there. So how has your political viewpoints? I don't mean
Starting point is 02:39:39 policy and ideology, but how you view politics at large and how you view media and the entire ecosystem changed overall this time. I have completely moved away from partisan politics, which has made navigating my career a lot more difficult, certainly because the bulk of my career has has been very much, you know, part of this partisan divide narrative. But at this point, I see politics as right versus wrong, good versus evil. And what's been happening over the last two years and the mass slaughter campaign that's been carried out using our taxpayer dollars, it's been a bit of a black pill, yes. But it also enlightened me to the fact that there are plenty of Democrats, so-called liberal
Starting point is 02:40:27 Zionists who are very much in favor of the mass slaughter campaign, who are very much in favor of Israel blocking humanitarian aid into Gaza for three months straight. Those are supposed to be people on my side. No, people on my side understand the value of human life, of humanity, know the difference between right and wrong. And I'm seeing a lot of people on the quote unquote Democratic side or quote unquote left who are just as bloodthirsty as the neocons of the Bush administration. So the real question to me is, on a case-by-case basis, issue-by-issue basis, do I side more with the quote-unquote right? I don't know. It depends. Where do they stand on the issue? And honestly, when it comes to something as serious as foreign policy, I don't see it as a
Starting point is 02:41:14 partisan issue at all anymore. Now, when it comes to social policies, yeah, I think that's where partisanship might play more of a role, right? Because politics has devolved into nothing more than culture war nonsense, manufactured culture war issues constantly to kind of distract us from the big issues of our time that I think the politicians on both sides of the aisle actually agree on, right, geopolitical issues, economic issues, neoconservative foreign policy with neoliberal economic policy. That is what has ruled our lives for many decades now. And there are people on both the left and the right who are sick of it? The question is, are we going to allow the power players in this country to continue to
Starting point is 02:41:58 divide us based on the manufactured culture wars? Or are we going to be willing to have the courage to work with people that we work with people that we have common ground with, right? And so that's my worldview right now. And I've just kind of completely moved away from the partisan shilling. And that's been a really difficult and uncomfortable thing to do. But for anyone who's trying to figure me out, I mean, that's where I'm coming from. I'm not really part of a tribe.
Starting point is 02:42:27 And it can be alienating sometimes, but it's also incredibly liberating. Yeah. Well, so I would say those things a little bit differently from my perspective, right? So from my perspective, it's always been the voters versus the donors. It's just more clear these days, which I'm thrilled about. So the donors don't want almost anything that the voters want. And the voters don't want almost anything the donors want. And so, and our politicians betray us.
Starting point is 02:43:02 And so on our refrigerator door, there's a magnet from 10 or 15 years ago of a quarter of mine that at some point we made into like refrigerator magnets apparently, which said, it's not the Democrats versus the Republicans, it's both of them versus us, right? So we've been preaching that gospel for a long, long time. And it's another way of framing it is, it's the people versus the powerful. And the powerful don't want to let go of their power. And so, you know, Frederick Douglass was right. You know, power never concedes, never has, without a demand.
Starting point is 02:43:47 Never has, never will. So we are trying to make that demand of the powerful, we hope, on your behalf, right? And our journalism is supposed to, if you're doing it right, comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. But, and as we've seen, you know, and lived for the last 20 years and gets more heated at different times. and it's very heated now, when you afflict the comfortable, they don't like it. And they afflict you back, right? And maybe even in the beginning, I probably saw it as Democrats and Republicans and left versus right. But slowly it became obvious that it was the corporate Democrats and the corporate Republicans
Starting point is 02:44:36 who kept agreeing on all the economic issues. And then the press would cheer, why partisanship? You remember those days, right? and how that was so great. Now bipartisanship, when we agree, hey, we shouldn't give Israel any more money, they're like, boo, bipartisanship sucks, these radical fringes are uniting, boo. But to me, all of this comes back to the form of the media, because that video would have never been made, let alone viewed by 60 million people if online media never existed.
Starting point is 02:45:14 only allows this range of opinions, same thing with New York Times, Washington Post, et cetera, tiny, tiny little range and all pretend fights. Oh, Democrats who are hate are fighting so hard against the Republicans and Republicans are fighting so hard against Democrats. And now all that fiction is breaking apart and everybody's beginning to see. Online media, YouTube, and again, I'm proud to have been at least a small part of that. we we began to lift the curtain and show people the Wizard of Oz right and the Wizard of Oz is the are the donor class the powerful and they've been against us this entire time and so that's why I mean as much as I get frustrated on any particular thing that's happening
Starting point is 02:45:58 in social media from a business perspective etc YouTube has changed the world and I I think largely 98% for the better, and it's changed media for the better. And so lastly on this stuff, for me, my role, like none of my policies have changed, et cetera, but I viewed in the beginning for the first 18 years or so more of a gladiator role. Why? Because our side, the left, you know, people with open minds, open hearts, reasonable policies, etc., we were besieged and we had no voice. And all the Democrats were mealy-mouthed and never fought for us and never did anything for us, et cetera. So we had to scream on your behalf.
Starting point is 02:46:47 We had to fight, fight, fight, fight on your behalf for 18 years. So why change as Trump is coming into office and has arrived and he's maybe the worst of times? Because guys, when the other side wants to make peace, remember we're on the left, we're supposed to make peace. Not as suckers, not as we'll do it on your grounds, but when they come to your grounds, that's not the time for gladiator. That's the time for, oh my God, I finally have an ally after 20 freaking years, at least on that issue. Oh my God, on that issue too. And now all of a sudden we're seeing three, four, five issues that we have allies on. It's never appeared before.
Starting point is 02:47:30 So when the cavalry arrives, for God's sake, take it in on that issue. It doesn't mean you lionize them and you say they're great and they're infallible, et cetera. So I'm just telling you that just because it comes up in the context of these 20 years. And right now, if you just go and bash Tucker Carlson and you bash other people, Rogan or Dylan, who are anti-war and now beginning to realize that we're occupied by Israel, what are you bashing them for? That doesn't make any sense. And on stuff you don't agree with them on, let him have it. That's okay. So anyway, that's where we are today and how I view it.
Starting point is 02:48:07 Let me show you one more video. It's our most popular short form video that we've done on YouTube. It's got 12 million views. Let's watch this. Can you tell me what happened in the last hour? I'm sure. I was given the citation. What happened was we fed probably over 100 people that were hungry.
Starting point is 02:48:26 and got a citation for feeding people that are hungry. We feed four days a week, 7.30, on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and crime. This is true. They're actually making feeding people illegal in a lot of different jurisdictions. If you're a corporation giving money to politicians, that's not illegal. That used to be called bribery, but not anymore. If you're someone charging like 400% interest, that used to be called loan sharking, now it's called payday lenders. That's totally fine.
Starting point is 02:48:55 If you're a heroin dealer, that used to be illegal, but then they turned it into Oxycontin, and that's totally fine. But this lady was feeding the homeless. I mean, who would do that? Like maybe Jesus, the right wing would have literally arrested Jesus Christ if he was around right now. Fact. So, the only people, the only people who should ever be considered for a citation or arrest because they're feeding someone, the people who feed Randy Fine. That's really the only justification for sitate, you know, doing a citation of someone who's feeding anyone else. So look, what's interesting is that was only two years ago, right? And I said the right wing thing that. And but even like on that issue today, are there people on the right that
Starting point is 02:49:42 are still like, oh, no, we shouldn't give money to snap, et cetera, who cares about the health care premiums doubling? Yeah, there are. But way less, right, among the vote. voters, like, and even among the politicians that have been liberated, like, I keep talking about how Marjorie Taylor Green was doing three things that I found amazing. One was arguing that the Obamacare premiums shouldn't double, and the Republicans shouldn't be responsible for that. And then she signed on to Rokana's bill, honestly, literally because of the Young Turks audience, to lower drug prices.
Starting point is 02:50:21 And she was against reducing SNAP benefits. And she said, you know, 10% of my district is on SNAP benefits, and they're almost all Republicans. So again, Anna, even on that issue, it looks like there's a little bit of a right wing rebellion because they're beginning to realize this right wing, left wing is nonsense. Most decent people don't want to arrest folks for feeding people, right? Yeah, look, we've been, listen, let's just keep it 100. We've been siloed from each other. and I'm talking about normal everyday people. I'm not talking about the political elite or members of the media.
Starting point is 02:50:57 We have allowed the media to tell us what voters think, whether it's all voters on the right or all voters on the left. And so I realized at some point that I was operating based on false assumptions that were being spouted by the media, please go out and have a conversation with someone who votes differently from you and understand what their actual positions are. because it is not only liberating and enlightening, it will help you understand this country a lot better. And for all the people who are living in constant fear, because they think half
Starting point is 02:51:32 the country is Nazis, how about living a life that isn't just constantly dealing with fear? Have a conversation with the so-called Nazis and see if they're actually Nazis. Just consider it. Yeah. And by the way, you'll find out that some are really radical. And you'll find out the some are not, a lot or not. A lot of them are human beings who got told something that oftentimes wasn't true. But our side also got taught things and told things that weren't true, like Joe Biden's young and dynamic, Democratic senators really care about you, things like these, right? So now we're gonna get to a timeline of the 20 years in our coverage in a second and the
Starting point is 02:52:10 most interesting interviews we've had. But before we do that Anna, there's one more clip, it turns out. It's about the potential of me running for president, and apparently they found some old footage on this. Let's have fun and watch. I'm the most optimistic guy I know. Can I run for president? I will be running for president of the United States of America.
Starting point is 02:52:31 Cenkforamerica.com and the idea here guys is let's change the course. And that was changing the course of how that election was going in Democratic primary. Obviously, I was trying to knock by a nut. Look, I'm still the most optimistic man in America, so that hasn't changed. And, man, you know, when I ran for Congress and I ran for president, I know no one, like, believes it, but I don't want to do it. I love this show. I don't want to do anything but this show.
Starting point is 02:53:08 And I'm perfectly happy, content doing this show and getting our message out and thrilled about it, et cetera. Anna, it was born of such enormous frustration that we can't find a single person to do the right thing. We can't find a single person to go inside Congress and say all these other people are corrupt. They're all doing exactly what the donors want. That Democratic Congress, that Republican Senator, are taking money from these people. And that's why they're doing what they're doing. That's why we can't negotiate drug prices.
Starting point is 02:53:37 Like Roe has come a little close to that these days. He's asking for Schumer to leave 20 years into. our show on YouTube, we've gotten one congressman that's almost there on that issue. And then of course in that presidential run, we couldn't get one big name to enter so that we wouldn't just submit and lose by default because we're running someone who can't speak. So anyway, I know you don't, you didn't love it when I ran, and it's my rough sense of it, but looking back on it, I don't know, I don't know if your feelings have gotten any different. No, they haven't.
Starting point is 02:54:15 God bless honesty. That's what we do on the young Turks, right? But okay, so all right, can I make a difference? Maybe and apparently a little bit, yes, because we did push Biden out. And whatever percentage role I had in that, I'm thrilled about. But certainly I didn't win those contests. So, but Anna, you know, But Anna, it's not like you don't see that there really isn't that problem, right?
Starting point is 02:54:50 You're just hoping someone else addresses it. Yes. Yeah. No, those problems definitely exist. Please, please, why can't we find people to do these things? So please, you know what we should do? A pact to make sure that I don't ever have to run again. Like we could find one person in 350 million people who's willing to go into the house and go, sorry, but my colleagues are also taking money from the drug companies.
Starting point is 02:55:23 They're also taking money from Israel. It's so obvious that that's why they're serving them. What's amazing about it is they have no idea how popular they would be. No idea. But even Bernie when he says, oh, they're bad guy, you know, et cetera. But he won't name names. He won't name names. And round and round we go.
Starting point is 02:55:46 Anyways, okay, let's hope for the next 20 is the lucky 20. And that we have so many people we never needed. And I'm hoping a lot of the rebellion candidates are that way. All right, Fat Saturday gifted another five memberships. That's amazing. You guys are awesome. I'll read the comments in a little bit. All right, let's go over our timeline.
Starting point is 02:56:03 It's a fun perspective on the history of the last 20 years in our coverage. So 2005, TYRT joins YouTube. 2007, Iraq War Opposition, well, actually the Iraq War Opposition started when we started the show in 2002. 2008 is Wall Street bailout. That's back when people kept telling me, Chank, will you ever shut up about finance and how the banks are robbing us? I'd go on, I went on for what, a year, two years straight of the banks are robbing us, the banks are robbing us. 2008 Obama elected, it was one of our moments where we were most excited.
Starting point is 02:56:45 2010 Citizens United, and by the way, we have some excitement coming up in some of the videos we're going to show you in a minute. 2011 Occupy Wall Street happens and I announce Wolfpack at Occupy Wall Street. 2012 Sandy Hook shooting, 2015, Justice Democrats founded, 2016, Donald, Trump elected. Oh no, that's actually a little bit wrong. Just Democrats was after Donald Trump was elected. It was in response to Trump being elected partly. 2017, Women's March, 2018, blue wave, 2020 COVID, 2020 Biden beats Trump, 21 January 6th, 2024 Israel and Gaza, 2024 Trump elected. So as I look at that list, I think, it's a lot of bad news on
Starting point is 02:57:28 I mean, it was when Obama got elected, we thought for a second, I remember screaming, we docked the ship, we docked the ship. You know why? The thing I was most nervous about was that if the Republicans won again, especially because it was John McCain, one of the biggest warmongers we've ever had, that we were going to not stop in the Middle East, that we were going to go on to attack Iran. And here we are, we attacked Iran anyway. Right? No, I mean, come on. It's not even. Even that, I mean, Obama did not go, the one good foreign policy thing Obama did was he did not invade Iran and actually signed a nuclear deal. That was a good thing that he did. But aside from that, Obama's foreign policy was even more vicious than George W. Bush's foreign policy. He took the Iraq war. He took what was going on in the Middle East. He took Bush's drone wars and expanded it. He expanded it. So this is honestly what has also led to my political evolution.
Starting point is 02:58:33 And yes, I'm going to call it an evolution, just realizing that when it comes to the big issues that matter, geopolitical issues, foreign policy issues, economic issues, there is a lot of continuity regardless of whether it's a Democratic administration or a Republican administration. The question is, is there corporate influence in the administration? Are these people who are corrupt? What is their philosophy? And you know, with someone like Donald Trump, I think he wanted the first time in 2016 because he was so much of a wild card.
Starting point is 02:59:06 He wasn't, he was unlike any other candidate who had run on the Republican side. And he just ended up being more of the same, really. Yeah, so I mean, that's when we realized, no, it's over. It's the unit party and the corporate Democrats, corporate Republicans are playing games on us. and corporate media is the main getaway driver, right? So, and we've been talking about that ever since. Okay, we're about to show you some of our biggest and most interesting interviews, clips from them in a second, but I just wanted to read a couple of quick things here.
Starting point is 02:59:38 First, Peter Griffin, thank you for joining. We appreciate it. They had the join button below, and it's a fun name. Lily Negron writes in on YouTube member section. I love Ti-T, my introduction was Jinx, famous crash out on the war in Iraq. I was in high school and felt so unheard. Now I'm proud to say I'm progressive and suggest TYT for honest news coverage. Well, you know, that's beautiful to hear.
Starting point is 03:00:00 Thank you guys. Appreciate it. I love it. And yeah, I do tend to crash out sometimes. And every time people tell me I'm wrong. And then people say 20 years later that they enjoyed it. Okay, so both things can be true. And I'm glad I yelled at him over to Iraq.
Starting point is 03:00:19 And I did it a lot and I'm glad I yelled at him over the bank bailouts and I'm glad I'm yelling at Israel now. Just bring it 666 says on super chat. Congrats, TYT family and 20th anniversary. You helped me realize my own biases. Wow. Love everyone in TYT family, especially Jenkinana. TYT then, now forever borrowed from WWU.
Starting point is 03:00:39 That's beautiful. Thank you, brother. Really, really appreciate it. Or, yeah. Okay. So let's go to some of our interviews. Here's a compilation of some of the more prominent and fun ones. David Soror.
Starting point is 03:00:54 Is Adam Green Drop by? Charlemagne. Congress, great to have you. It's great to be with you, Chang. Your show is a great thing. You're informing people. A lot of the shows that I live on, you know, my CNN and my MSNBC and even Fox and any of the other shows, NPR.
Starting point is 03:01:07 They are so quick to decide that they know what this building means today. The one thing that I hate that politicians do, you know, they talk about the people. They should be talking to my favorite news platform by far. It's not even close. It's not a country and a principle and that's what you and I both work to achieve. I'm so glad that at least half the battle has now been one. If you want to go really hear what's going on, honestly, you should tune into the Young Turks. Thanks for doing such a great job.
Starting point is 03:01:34 Please keep it up. Hang tough. That makes me so happy. Oh, I like making that. I didn't know about that. This is a happy Anna Kasparian. And a lot more than that too, of course. This is a recent clip.
Starting point is 03:01:46 Here's another one I'm proud of when Bernie was running in the 2016 primaries, we were the main show covering him. A lot of folks found us back then because of that. We were fair to him and we liked what he was saying. For a while, we were the only ones in media who did that. And then other online shows joined, et cetera. And the first interview we had with Bernie, we had got six million views more than anyone on cable news. And of course, so this is now just a frustration of mine. For 20 years we've been telling traditional news outlets, I have, not Anna, and the marketing
Starting point is 03:02:23 team, et cetera, like, hey, we got 6 million views on Bernie Sanders interview. And they're like, yeah, whatever, it doesn't count. So for 20 straight years, nothing has ever counted, right? So anyways, but I'm glad we did the unconventional interviews. I'm glad we did the ones we learned from. Anna's got a bunch that she's going to tell us about in the members-only section, ones that were more fun. But Anna, what's your sense of, you know, here, let me show you recent examples and then
Starting point is 03:02:55 ask you one quick question about it. So recently we've done Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Marjorie Taylor Green, Vivek Ramoswamy, Matt Gates, George Santos, Patrick McDavid, etc. And so why did we do those? Well, first of all, we interviewed RFK Jr. when you, he was an independent because we interview independents. We interviewed Marianne Williamson, we interviewed Andrew Yang, we interviewed Tulsi Gabbard. Anybody who comes along, whether they're initially Democrats or at some point
Starting point is 03:03:22 are independents like Gary Johnson, that's another guy we interviewed. We do it, we give everybody at Jill Stein. We give, I remember we did a town hall for Jill Stein before the 2016 election and traditional media reporters said just when we thought you guys were getting legitimate, you actually listen to Jill Stott. I'm sorry, I know in media, we're not supposed to listen to anyone. We're supposed to have closed minds, et cetera. We've been stubbornly open-minded throughout. So generally speaking, Anna, what are your favorite kind of interviews? I mean, I like all interviews. It depends. Does the person have something interesting to say,
Starting point is 03:04:02 I like the hostile interviews, as was the case with Vivek Ramoswamy and Matt Gates. I like the enlightening interviews. You know, I love talking to Scott Horton, for instance. He's the head of the Libertarian Institute, but libertarians like him are, first of all, he's got an encyclopedic knowledge of, you know, world history, foreign policy, he's incredible. So like, to me, those types of conversations feed my soul. Like I love having those types of conversations, but I also like to, I like to scrap, you know, I like to get a little rowdy, but the main point I want to make is I'm going to talk to whoever I want to talk to. Okay, I don't have to justify it and I don't have to explain myself. That's it. Yeah. So look, here's, I guess a couple of quick things I'll say
Starting point is 03:04:59 about it. I match the tenor of the of the guest. And same thing when I'm on somebody else's show. So if Lex Friedman is talking calmly to me and asking me questions, we'll go for four, four and a half hours before we know what happened. And no one will ever raise their voice because why we're having a conversation about what do you think, what do I think, etc. I only raise my voice and things get out of hand or we get into a conflict. It's not better based on whether they're left wing or right wing or whatever. It's our reaction to them. So Marjorie Taylor Green on the issues we are talking about, agreed with us. So she came on to say, oh, you guys are right about funding of Israel and
Starting point is 03:05:40 whatever else we were talking about on that day. Whereas Vivek Ramoswamy came in hostile and seemed like he wanted to pick a fight. And if you want to pick a fight, then we'll certainly be your huckleberries, right? And then Matt Gase came in halfway friendly, then turned hostile. So the beginning of the interview was fine and the end was a disaster. Not a disaster, but like MS, where we're brawling. But if you want to brawl, I mean, we're pretty famous for brawling. But we don't have to brawl. We could just have a conversation and go, okay, that's what you think and this is what I think. Go ahead, Adam. No, sometimes I'll throw the first punch. Am I going to pretend? Oh, no, I'm so much better than, I'm better than that. No, sometimes I'll
Starting point is 03:06:26 throw the first punch. If it's, if it's necessary, it's going to happen. My point is, you're Right. It depends on the guest. It depends on the topic at hand. And, you know, look, sometimes you go into a conversation. Sometimes you're the one being interviewed. And you think you have a strategy or a plan in mind. And you should just throw that plan out the window because you really don't know how a spontaneous conversation is going to go, especially when it's live. And so just be true to yourself and have an honest conversation. And if you want to throw, I wouldn't even say throw a jab or throw a punch, if you want to ask a tough question that might be considered hostile by the person you're interviewing, so what? Oh, yeah, yeah. But I mean in terms of the decibel level, right? Because it's not like, so when David Duke was on, I called him an anti-Semite half a dozen times and a racist and a bigot. Why? Because he was saying deeply anti-Semitic and racist things, right? So I'm not afraid to say that. And I'm not afraid to mix it up with anybody in terms of, you know, I asked Joe Manchin about his top donors.
Starting point is 03:07:36 And he said, Jenks, I don't know who my own top donors are. Fascinating. So the decibel never rose. We got the information we wanted both out of David Duke and Joe Manchin. By the way, that's why you talk to people. So for example, with David Duke, I thought he was going to be against Latinos and black people. No, he was mainly against Jews. Okay, he barely cared about Latinos or black people or even gay people. He's just like, ah, I'm obsessed with Jews. And everybody said, don't. You're no, never. Don't find out. Be ignorant. Don't try to find out what their real issues are, et cetera. And then with Joe Manchin, we found out some hilarious excuses. In fact, we have a clip of that for the members
Starting point is 03:08:20 in a minute. But that's what we're supposed to do. We're supposed to have conversations and we're supposed to figure out what different things folks believe. All right, before we go to those fun clips that you picked out for the bonus episode and I'll read some of your comments there. Any other reflections on the last 20 years? Any like favorite moments? I'm afraid to ask about non-favorant moments. Anything that you have as a takeaway from doing this for this while? I've learned a lot about myself in the last, I mean, almost 19 years now. And It's good to know who you are, and I'm the kind of person who doesn't like to be told what to do. So that's it.
Starting point is 03:09:08 That's it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Look, I'm going to say it in a funny way. I love being right. And so I love that I was right about online media. You know, everybody who said, you know, and everybody meaning the folks who worked in traditional media, who were literally competitors of online media, they all said,
Starting point is 03:09:30 Oh, it's terrible. It's disinformation. It's the worst. We should shut it down. Everybody go back to watching me. Right. And I'm so glad we didn't. I'm so glad we won that war. You remember net neutrality? Like they were going to try to shut down basically anything that could oppose the establishment on the internet. And that's a battle we won. That was like a, that's a super rare battle we won. But it was such an important battle. And it was all the internet at the same time, left wing and right wing, if you remember, saying we don't want net neutrality. We don't want it. It's a corporate trick.
Starting point is 03:10:05 It's a Trojan horse, et cetera. And as it turns out, I think we were right that that was the most important battle. Because since we defeated that, guys, we wind up getting all this different online media, independence, right, left, whatever. And now I feel like the people are so much more empowered than they were before. But 28 is, you know, end game. 2028 is definitely end game. Because after 28, Palantir and those guys start to put their claws in us in a way that
Starting point is 03:10:42 might be irreversible. So we've got to fight that fight one more time. And we're here for it. We were built for it. And so over the next three years, we're going to get into that fight. and we're going to try to fight for you, for the people, and for the voters, and we got your back, and we're going to do it again and again and again and again. And I'm sure we'll be attacked again and again and again. But that's how this merry-go-round goes around. And now we have a new
Starting point is 03:11:15 awakened population to work with. And I think that that is very different than anything we have seen in the previous 20 years. And so I'm excited about it. It's that populous woods I was talking about. And we can win in these woods. These are our woods. They're on our home turf now. So I'm super excited about the future. All right guys. Well, as usual, very classic of TYT, we ran over time. When we come back, we'll do it for the members. I'll read some of the wonderful super chats and comments you guys wrote in that are members. But the fun stuff is, favorite clips of all time. It's mainly Anna's. I finally, no, I got three clips in here, okay? And so Anna picked most of them. I picked three at the end. So I want to show that to you
Starting point is 03:12:03 guys. So if you remember, thank you guys for building this show. You built it and you allowed us to do this. And our biggest bottom line for this 20th anniversaries, thank you. Thank you for allowing us to do an honest news program and for backing it for all these years, we don't, we didn't have any of the big guys, we had you guys and you've carried us for 20 years and I love you for it. We all do. So with that being said, dy.com slash join or hit the join button below so we can give you the rest of the fun videos for the members that sustain us. We love you, we appreciate you. Members, we'll see you there. Thank you.
