Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to the Young Turks, the online news show. Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars. You're awesome. Thank you. I don't play with those. I don't even do roller coasters. Well, hello. Jay and Q Granite is sparing with you guys. Lovely show ahead. Joe Kess going to join us, talk about Israeli treachery.
Starting point is 00:01:05 And they apparently tried to kill the peace negotiators again. Of course. Of course, of course they did, because they don't want peace. Every rational, sentient human being on earth knows that, except for all the reporters in America. So, and on top of that, of course, we've got even more right-wing attacks against Donald Trump. I remember day when that wasn't, of course. This time they're attacking him on his obvious brazen over-the-top corruption. Other Republicans fighting on other issues as well, a couple of those.
Starting point is 00:01:40 And how much has this war in Iran cost us so far? And why are we paying it? So a lot to get to on the show. Casper, how are you doing? I'm doing well. Getting real excited for the long Fourth of July weekend. Excited for the summer. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:56 I'm feeling good. What about you? Well, as my daughter would say, America. Exactly. Exactly. For those of you who missed one of the bonus episodes for members or whatever, wherever I told that story, that's her version of the Eagle Sound. Which she says that's their company every time you say America.
Starting point is 00:02:16 It's so good. Where did you get Bing from? But anyways, okay. All right, now that we've had a little bit of fun, let's ruin it by going to the first story. Drawing from Gaza, Israel has expanded its control, demolishing entire communities and occupying more territory. We were at 50%. We moved to 60%. my directive is to move to first 70%. Let's start with that. Squeeze them from all sides.
Starting point is 00:02:49 We will deal with what's left later. The killings also continue. Israeli forces have killed at least 1,000 Palestinians during the so-called ceasefire in place since October 2025. So as many people killed us on October 7th, that's why our press has said almost nothing about it because they're deep racist who don't think Palestinians are human. That's almost every cable news anchor in America and every mainstream media reporter. Now they're not going to tell you what we're about to tell you, which is that Israel's about to stuff 2 million Palestinians into concentration camps. Anna, tell us more. Well, Jank, I think that we should be fair to the Israelis. We don't know if the population
Starting point is 00:03:33 of Gaza is at 2 million. They've killed so many people. And the official death is about 75,000 individuals slaughtered by the Israelis, of course. But that number is likely to be much higher. So we don't actually know what the current population of Gaza is. But with that in mind, you're absolutely correct. They are in fact done building a massive concentration camp near the Rafa border. And I want to give you some more details about it. So according to the Israeli paper, Israel Hiam, which is owned by Miriam Adelson, they're the first ones. to report on this. So I want all of the Israel glazers to understand. I am sourcing this from an Israeli publication. I'm not making it up. This isn't from Al Jazeera, which I find to be very
Starting point is 00:04:23 credible. But nonetheless, here's what they're reporting. The Board of Peace, remember that? The Board of Peace will launch a pilot program in the coming weeks to manage humanitarian, they call them shelters in areas of the Gaza Strip that are not under Hamas control is Israel Haim has learned. So understand what they're doing here. They are framing this as we're just looking out for the Palestinians. We want to separate them from Hamas and keep them safe. In these concentration camps, of course, multinational forces under the Board of Peace's management will also arrive in the area and will be based at a facility built for them at camp. Amitay near the strip. They are expected to be equipped with non-lethal weapons, I'm sure,
Starting point is 00:05:12 to maintain order in these humanitarian zones, while the Israel defense forces will continue to hold its positions and deepen its grip on areas beyond the yellow line. So that goes back to what you could hear Benjamin Netanyahu say at the very beginning of this video. He says, look, we're expanding to control 70% of the territory. Let's start there. But make no mistake about it, they intend to take over the entirety of the Gaza Strip. And in an effort to do something about that pesky Palestinian problem, there's going to stuff them into concentration camps. Now, in reality, this is going to, you know, radicalize even more people. So let me explain how. The Israelis think that placing Palestinians in concentration camps will somehow defeat Hamas.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Israel Hayam further writes, as long as Hamas remains armed, the Board of Peace, the Israeli political echelon, and former senior military officials argue that this is a way to deepen the blow to Hamas by disconnecting it from the population. The IDF will continue to deepen its hold on territory in the strip and bite off more areas under Hamas control, while the Board of Peace will bite off population from it. Later, according to officials who have seen the plans, the hope is that Hamas will be left without population, territory, and resources, and that this will be the way to bring about its elimination. But, you know, anyone with two brain cells to rub together understands that when you stuff millions of people into concentration camps, what tends to happen in that situation? They become radicalized. If they aren't radicalized already, considering the fact that many of these individuals have had their entire family members wiped out through Israel's endless bombing campaign, slaughter campaign in the Gaza Strip.
Starting point is 00:07:05 And it looks like the set is being staged for more slaughter. So the Board of Peace officials say that the intent is for the area to not be a prison. They're assuring us. No, no, no, no, no. This isn't going to be a prison. Don't worry. They claim officials familiar with the risks, warn of similar phenomena that occurred at food distribution compounds.
Starting point is 00:07:26 So basically what they're saying is, look, we need to be a little bit careful, though, because as we know, things got a little bit out of control as these starving, intentionally starved Palestinians were lining up for food. Now, does Israel Haim outline the fact that they were shot at and killed as they were waiting for food by IDF soldiers? Of course not. They claim that Hamas could control civilian movement into and out of the humanitarian compound. I love that they're calling concentration camps humanitarian compounds, prevent it entirely or use it for its own purposes. So they're already setting the stage for Hamas is going to use these humanitarian camps for their own purposes, which paves the way for Israel to do what, jank? Yeah, so look, this is now absolutely clear and obvious what they're doing.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And before there was, at least an excuse that the media could use saying, well, we don't really know what Israel is going to do. They say self-defense, they say October 7th. Now that happened three years ago, but it doesn't matter, they get to do self-defense for decades if they want, and no one's ever allowed to resist them. We've been through all that, right? But they said, you guys are being ridiculous and conspiratorial about this saintly, beloved, wonderful Israel, they're of course going to give Gaza back.
Starting point is 00:08:46 This is about self-defense. Once Hamas gives the hostages back, they're going to withdraw from Gaza. In fact, that's in the peace plan. Step one was getting a ceasefire. Step two was Israel withdraws from all of Gaza. Now, is Israel ever going to listen to a peace plan or a ceasefire? Of course not. So they murdered over a thousand people during the so-called ceasefire. And Gaza has not, Hamas has not attacked Israel from within Gaza. us in that time. So only one side has violated the peace deal, and that's Israel. Only one side wants endless war, that's Israel.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Only one side is setting up a giant concentration camp, that's Israel. All of these things are indisputable. Did they give the land back? Of course not. Not only did they not give it back, as you just saw, Benjamin Netanyahu with this big smile in his face, I would use that 53%, now 60%, and now 70%, and now 70%. And so, and our media goes, I don't see it. I never am going to cover Israel honestly.
Starting point is 00:09:45 We're all still going to pretend that this is an ally. No, this is a sick fascist government. So is it a concentration camp? Is that fair? Well, they're saying that they're going to stuff all of the 2.2 million, at least that we had people in Gaza before Israel started their slaughterhouse into potentially just Rafa city. So they'll just take all of the rest of God.
Starting point is 00:10:11 and set up this big concentration camp. Now wait, how do you know it is? I mean, I hear that Israel is the best democracy in the Middle East, the only democracy, right? So I'm sure that since the Palestinians are under Israeli rule, they get to vote, right? They get to go about their business and do anything they like, no, of course not. They, not voting, of course, they, the Israeli government has already voted that they will never, ever allow the Palestinians to be free. Again, that's, we have to go and get that from the Israeli press, because the American press will not report anything that is critical of Israel under penalty of law.
Starting point is 00:10:49 So they're like, no, no, no, no, no, no, God forbid if the American people find out how vicious and disgusting the Israeli government is, they might not finance every single atrocity that they do. And of course, American media would cry over that. Their beloved Israel has to get everything, right? So I'm challenging everyone in mainstream media who said that Israel would withdraw, that Israel was the victims in doing self-defense. Are you now going to be honest with your audience, with your viewers and readers, and tell them
Starting point is 00:11:20 that you were wrong, at a minimum, if you weren't lying, that you were wrong, that Israel did plan to keep Gaza. It was not about self-defense, it was about conquest, and they're bragging about it. Now, and yes, you cannot leave that concentration cap without permission. from the guards, the fascist guards who are guarding it. The Israelis, you can't go in, you can't go out, and right now they've cut the aid going into Gaza, which is also part of the deal.
Starting point is 00:11:48 It's just yet another violation, because Israel doesn't have to follow the rules, because according to our government and our media, they are superior to us and all other human beings. So the rules are for you, okay? Give me your money, and Israel's not going to follow any of the rules, and our liars that are pretending to be reporters are all going to pretend that they're our ally. So yes, they've stuffed them in there with absolutely no rights, and now they've cut the assistance
Starting point is 00:12:16 to about a third of what was supposed to go in there. So now the United Nations and other groups are warning about another famine, a forced famine. Imagine putting people into a concentration camp, and then starving them to death like monsters. Only Nazis would do that. And so that is what Israel has become, what they most feared and despised. I hope you're all proud if you're Israeli supporters, because I can't imagine anything more disgusting than this. And people are still defending this? How deeply immoral do you have to be to defend this?
Starting point is 00:12:48 They don't even have the capacity to realize that they're immoral. They're incapable of feeling any shame. And so I'm already at a point, Jank, where I don't expect Zionist controlled media, and that's our legacy media to report the truth about what's going on. And I don't expect people who have defended Israel throughout all of this to ever have a, you know, come to Jesus moment where they realize what's going on is deeply, deeply immoral and inhumane. But with that in mind, I think that it's pretty clear what the end game is here, because all you need to do, guys, all you need to do is listen carefully to what Israeli ministers
Starting point is 00:13:25 and members of Netanyahu's cabinet say out loud almost every single day. So the plan is to cram these people into concentration camps, but then what's the end goal? Are they just going to stay in those camps? No, no, there's a plan. Let's take a look at the next video. The board is also out of money. The billions of dollars countries pledged have not arrived, a sign perhaps that there are growing doubts that the board can deliver.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Israel is clear, though, on its preferred path forward. So what remains will be ruins. In the end, there will be immigration from there. How many of you guys are guilty of doom scrolling late at night on social media, looking at the news and then wondering why you can't fall asleep? Nothing pairs worse with trying to wind down than a bright screen lighting up your face and headlines playing on a loop in your head. Here's what's actually happening.

Starting point is 00:15:36 Cram them into camps, torture them, a bunch of them will probably die under those conditions, and then force them out of the Gaza Strip. That is the plan. I mean, can you imagine a situation in which Israel openly confesses that they will take control of 100% of the Gaza Strip and allow Palestinians to remain there? Of course not. And if you're saying, Anna, come on, be fair, okay, you're engaging in hyperbole. Netanyahu said 70%. He didn't say 100%. Okay, well, I bring you Graphic 7.
Starting point is 00:16:07 This is an Israeli publication, Israel National News. And they reported on a minister in Israel who openly said that Israel on the path to 100% control of Gaza. So this individual is the energy minister, Eli Cohen, who is a member of Israel's security cabinet. And here's what he said in an interview. Quote, if two months ago we controlled 53% of the strip, about a month ago, around 60%, and today we're approaching 70% of the Strip's area. We already see that we are progressing. I assume you will speak to me again in a few months. Our control of the territory will only continue to expand until we reach 100%.
Starting point is 00:16:54 So please spare me the BS about how these are humanitarian camps. They're concentration camps. So the very people who have weaponized the tragedy of the Holocaust to expand its borders and carry out what it's been carrying out, decided, hey, you know what, why don't we rip a page out of Hitler's book and create concentration camps? You know, the kinds of camps that our ancestors were slaughtered in. Congratulations. So these people are an absolute disgrace.
Starting point is 00:17:24 The Israelis, the Israeli government, absolute disgrace. They are the new Nazis. And the next time someone asks me, how could you, it's so offensive that you're calling them that? Well, I mean, what would you call a regime that slaughters people? and places them in literal concentration camps. They're the new Nazis. That's the truth. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:46 So first of all, who cares about offending Israelis? I mean, that's only a trick that the people empower use to say like, oh, no, don't worry about the concentration camp. Don't worry about the 23,000 dead children. You should only worry that, oh, this guy offended the Israelis. And remember, the Israelis are superior to you and everyone else on earth. So offending them is worth more is a bigger problem. murdering a child.
Starting point is 00:18:10 I mean, that's how our media reacts and tell me that's not true media. So have you made a giant deal out of congressional hearings, a story after story after story about 23,000 dead children in Gaza? No. Did you make a giant deal out of people saying that others who are criticizing Israel are anti-Semitic? Yes, you cover that a billion times over. Non-stop stories, everyone's an anti-Semite, anti-Sem-Semort, everyone bowed to Israel.
Starting point is 00:18:36 Oh, the Palestinians are slaughtered and and Israel, did steal 70% of Gaza and they are starting a concentration camp? So what? Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I'm a reporter. No you're not, a bunch of propagandists for Israel betraying the American viewers and readers and telling you all sorts of propaganda on behalf of another country. So let's again go to facts here, okay? So they say, well, look, you know what?
Starting point is 00:19:03 You know, you're quoting Eli Cohen. He doesn't represent Israel, it's just a small part of the government. And Smoutrich and Ben-Gavir. Well, wait a minute, now we're like nearly half the security cabinet. And Israel Katz, the defense minister, and Netanyahu, the prime minister. Well, that's the whole freaking government. But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But the Israelis themselves, they're just such wonderful humanitarian people.
Starting point is 00:19:28 They're so misunderstood. That's why 93% of them said that we should start the war against Iran. And of course, their assumption is that we pay for it, we fight it. So 93% of Israeli Jews said, Hell yes, war, more war. Give us Lebanon, give us Gaza, give us one's, get an attack around. Those are polls.
Starting point is 00:19:49 Those are reality. But no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We have to just lie about it and, oh, how are their feelings? Are they okay? How about the Palestinians? Are they okay? Oh yeah, that's just their lives. That's totally irrelevant to an American scumbag politician
Starting point is 00:20:05 or a media figure who thinks that the lives of other human beings are worth nothing compared to the feelings of the Israelis. Well, you say, okay, but look, Netanyahu, they don't like Netanyahu. He might lose the next election. He might lose it to Naftali Bennett, who is now currently arguing to the Israeli citizens that he's a bigger monster than Netanyahu, that he'll continue all the wars, but will add Turkey on top and maybe Egypt. And the Israeli citizens go wild, yes, more war, right?
Starting point is 00:20:35 That's a reality. That's a stone cold reality. We lost Israel. Israel's right now is in a fascist culture. They're in a cult and they can't see straight. And enabling their worst instincts makes them go further down the fascism road. If you think you're helping Israel by going, out of boy, slaughter more. Yeah, that'll be great for Israel and Jews across the world.
Starting point is 00:21:00 When the whole world sees us killing kids, you know what we'll do? We'll accuse them of being anti-Semites and they try to ruin their lives. That'll be a great strategy. I bet people love us after we do that. So this is just disgusting in every way. One last thing, so if you're saying that it's okay for Israel to kill all those kids, because they had a coming. I mean, they were gonna be terrorists one day, right?
Starting point is 00:21:26 Or Hamas was hiding right underneath the baby, right? I mean, they believe this insanity because they wanna believe it. They wanna take the land, they wanna have a greater Israel, and they don't care about Arab lives, whether they're Christian or Muslim, 1%. They don't care about them at all. So when they, Israelis murder, the IDF murders kids on purpose, assassinates them, head shots and chest shots. That's according to American doctors with overwhelming evidence reported by all the human rights groups.
Starting point is 00:21:53 By the way, including Israeli human rights groups, when they rape detainees, when they urinate on people, including kids in the West Bank to try to drive them out, when they murder a thousand innocent civilians in the West Bank, the same as October 7 and 1,000 in Gaza since the ceasefire, same as October 7th, are disgustingly corrupt. American media says it's no big deal. Those are just Palestinian lives. No Israelis were hurt in the rape and the slaughter and the concentration camps. So it's all good, don't worry about it, America.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Keep giving us the money for Israel. Meanwhile, pretending to be objective reporters. When we come back, we're going to have a nice lengthy conversation. with Joe Kent. We'll give you some updates on what's happening with Iran. Also, his name came up in a recent podcast episode with Sean Ryan and Candace Owens. And I can't wait to hear what he has to say about their statements. Stick around. We'll be right back. Forward is keep fighting forward, okay? But we don't fight with arms and physical and anything of that, right? We fight with love. We fight with peace. We fight with hope and belief and faith
Starting point is 00:23:12 to one another and we do that's right with knowledge and facts and truth and things that are real objective reality matters so much of our audience scientists teachers engineers data analysts people who believe in objective reality right so thank you guys for believing in that thank you for believing in hope and thank you for making it happen i appreciate all of them i really love what y'all do um on the young turks man and it's just it's just it's a very refreshing you know, voice, you know, y'all don't lean to one side. I tell people all the time, if you want to go really hear what's going on honestly and in our society, you should tune in to the Young Turks. Thank you, Charlemagne. We appreciate that. That's awesome. Really appreciate
Starting point is 00:24:20 a brother. In the bonus episode for members, we do things that are really productive and healthy and good for you, like fruit. Ah, just kidding. We get the inside scoop. Ice cream cam. Come on, man. Come inside the bonus episodes. And you're going to love it. Embarrassing details about our lives. What kind of ice cream we eat?
Starting point is 00:24:48 No, way saucier than that. They're t-y-t.com slash team. Get the inside scoop. Mmm. Ice cream cam. I'm on TYT, Chink, and Anna with you guys on the online news show. All right, let's go to our next story. Jared Kushner and Steve Whitkoff are on their way to Doha
Starting point is 00:25:45 Qatar, actually they were there on Tuesday. And they were ready to do some more indirect negotiations with the Iranians. Well, it looks like that that meeting didn't amount too much. Wait to you hear the twist in this story. Anna's got more. Yes, Jank. I think that it's not helpful to continue relying on Jared Kushner and Steve Whitkoff to engage in these indirect peace negotiations. I mean, we don't even have the U.S. directly negotiating with the Iranian delegation. And so nothing seems to have come out of that meeting. I'm glad that they're still pursuing talks as opposed to a full-scale war. However, we do have some reporting from the Wall Street Journal that I want to bring to the audience's attention because it's kind of being framed as, oh, Trump is considering full-scale war again.
Starting point is 00:26:36 But if you read the piece, it seems as though he's been briefed on various options, including full-scale war, but he keeps trying to pull it back to a more diplomatic approach. So in this exclusive Wall Street Journal piece, they write that the diplomatic stalemate has led Trump to consider alternative courses, probing aids for new ideas. Hegzith and Kane have provided options on resuming large-scale airstrikes on Iranian military sites, which shouldn't come as a surprise. It seems like our Secretary of Defense likes to lean into more war as opposed to diplomacy. But nonetheless, Trump is allegedly still willing to pursue the diplomatic route. Trump has told AIDS that he is fine if negotiations with Tehran blow up or blow past the August 18th deadline for a nuclear deal,
Starting point is 00:27:29 a decision that gives the talks more time to work. So that's good news. But we also learned through the Wall Street Journal that Trump was briefed by military leaders back in March. They told him that they would just need like several more weeks to completely eliminate Iran's military capability. But if you can remember, Trump agreed to the ceasefire by April 7th. And so to me, that is an indication that he really wants to wrap this up. But he keeps getting dragged in. And on top of that, the president said he is currently satisfied with ordering one-off strikes on Iran, when it violates the memorandum of understanding, which sparked back and forth fighting over the weekend that undermined a fragile ceasefire clinched two weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:28:13 So what I worry about here is, I mean, there was a vessel that violated the rules that have been implemented by the Iranians, right? There is a distinct route that they're supposed to take. If they're going through the Strait of Hormuz, these vessels didn't do that. And as a result, Iran attacked. And then that led to the United States retaliating against Iran. And that's when we had those tit for tat strikes. Now, it's hard to make sense of what's going on here and whether or not there's any strategy at all moving forward.
Starting point is 00:28:43 But luckily, we have a wonderful guest here to help us understand what's going on. And that would be Joe Kent. Joe, thank you for joining us. Thanks for having me. Great to be here. So let me just start off by asking you. You know, what do you make of the tit for tat strikes that took place fairly recently? like with Iran attacking the vessel, the U.S. kind of framing that attack as Iran violating the MOU
Starting point is 00:29:09 and then engaging in strikes, retaliatory strikes against Iran. I mean, the situation seems very fragile and it seems that even if Trump wants diplomacy to work, his actions don't necessarily prove it. What do you think? Yeah, I think he's stuck in this situation that he can't get himself out of because I think he very soberly realizes that, look, if there was a viable military option, then they would brief it to him and he would say, okay, great guys, go do it. He's not afraid to use force. The problem is he saw essentially the reasonable limitations of our application of power in this last iteration of the war. And thankfully, whatever that pilot recovery operation truly was, thankfully we didn't lose anybody on it, but it also gave him a taste of how challenging boots on the
Starting point is 00:29:53 ground operations could be. So I think Trump has a healthy skepticism of escalating. But he's locked in this box where he really wants a piece of paper that says that we have a deal with Iran. But that gives Iran the upper hand of being able to basically dictate terms in the Straits of Hormuz, which they've been very, very clear that that's what they're going to do now in order to get some of the money back that they lost in the war. And they're asserting themselves now. The moderates have been killed. And now the hardliners are in power. And they're like, no, whenever we want to, we may just even reset the rules and we control the strays of Hormuz now.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Trump doesn't want to walk away from that without some form of an agreement. and then the Iranians in an additional show of power, they said, actually, we also want Israel out of Lebanon, which they weren't really able to do before the war, but now they are. And then we had a parallel deal come basically negate the MOU, unfortunately. MOU is going in the right direction for, I don't know, a couple days. And then Rubio went over there and said, no, we have this whole other separate deal that basically is going to allow the Israelis to stay in Lebanon. So I think he has to realize he's been painted into a box. And so he needs to, I think, get new advisors in there and then extricate ourselves.
Starting point is 00:31:00 He knows the military escalation would be a disaster. Otherwise, I think he would just do it. That's why I've advocated it all along. Get our guys out of there. Get our guys out of striking range from the Iranians. And if you're okay with occasional strikes, I wouldn't advocate for this, but he still has the capability through power projection to strike them when we want to. We don't need to run the risk of this escalating further by having some of our guys get killed in striking range.
Starting point is 00:31:21 Yeah. So Joe. Sorry, Jane. Yeah. Can I just ask a quick follow up? Sorry, because you mentioned Lebanon. And so I've been dying to ask you this question as someone who's the director of national counterterrorism of the National Counterterrorism Center. So the excuse that the Israelis are using, I know that it's land annexation. But the excuse that they're using is Hezbollah poses a threat to us. Now, Hezbollah, to be fair, did direct some rockets in Israel's direction. And then there was that ceasefire that Israel violated over 10,000 times. And so how? How much of a threat is Hezbollah, both to Israel, even if they're not engaging? Let's say Israel stops. They don't attack Lebanon.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Let's say they pull out. How much of a threat do you think Hezbollah really is to Israel? And how much of a threat is Hezbollah, more importantly, to the United States? This spring, Denham gets a softer, lighter update. Introducing Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg, a new fit that moves with you. It's everything you want denim to feel like for summer. easy, breathable, and effortlessly cool. With a fit that creates natural movement and a wide leg that feels modern, not overwhelming.
Starting point is 00:32:32 Plus, that signature, wait, for this price, moment. Old Navy's drapey denim wide leg. To the United States, Hesbala only threatens America when we go over into their territory. That's historically backed up by numbers, that backs up pretty much everything that Hesbola has also publicly said. So Shia militants, by and large, they do kill Americans, but they only kill Americans. Americans when we come and present a direct threat to them. So there's nonsense that like we have we have to fight them over there. So they don't fight us over here. And you know, we need the, the Israelis to act as our proxies in this case. That's absolute nonsense. This is where I think we need very serious people
Starting point is 00:33:08 who understand counterterrorism operations to go to the Israelis and be like, okay, cut the talking point nonsense. We see what you're doing here. We're not going to restrain you from doing a targeted strike against those who pose a threat against you or those who have already struck you. But we see what you're doing here. You're doing large-scale military operations where you've already killed thousands of people and you're seizing and holding ground. And you're not seizing and holding just ground where you've been shot at from. You're continuing to expand. And we saw you guys do this in Gaza. And again, we're paying for all of this, both in terms of dollars, but also all of this blows back on us. So if you want to even have a modicum of support from us going forward, you're going to stop. We won't
Starting point is 00:33:46 stop you from defending yourselves. That's nonsense. So, you know, we just tell them we understand. We are mature enough in our military operations to understand the difference between a targeted counterterrorism strike and then a straight up land grab and occupation. Yeah, so Joe, New York Times with a story out today saying that Israel trying to kill Iran's negotiators again. So they previously killed two relative moderates who were the peace negotiators for Iran. And my understanding is that was against our wishes. and that this new round of trying to murder Aragchi and Ghalyab, the two remaining peace negotiators for Iran, is also against our wishes. So why are we still calling them an ally?
Starting point is 00:34:34 I mean, isn't it painfully clear that they never listened to anything we ever say, we definitely won out of this war, and they keep trying to drag us back in? Yeah, I mean, this is why from the time that I resigned, and even before the time I resigned, I have been advocating that we have to actually not just say things to the Israelis, not just post things to the Israelis on social media. We have to take things away from the Israelis because right now, we can go to them and complain and be like, guys, stop killing the negotiators, guys stop going into Lebanon, et cetera, et cetera, you know, until we're blue in the face, which I think we frequently do. I feel like the vice president has made a good faith effort. And even the president, to a certain degree, the things that he was saying in, you know, in Europe, he was trying to restrain them with words. The problem is the Israelis have no reason to actually believe that we're going to backing this up because we've never backed any of it up.
Starting point is 00:35:21 We've never actually changed the relationship. So again, this is back to a huge leadership decision by President Trump. Does he actually start taking things away from the Israelis to show them that we're serious about this? Or is he going to let them, you know, literally blow up the negotiations that he is basically hinging his entire, not just presidency on. but really the success going forward of the country. He even said it himself, we had to get to the negotiating table. We had to do the MOU because of the Straits of Hormuz. That means we need to be able to have communications of people and we need to be able to negotiate.
Starting point is 00:35:51 I'm not sure what the number is, but if we continue to burn through moderates, at some point, the guys who keep basically, you know, launching drones back in the Straits of Hormuz are going to be the only ones running things in Tehran. And then we're not really going to have anyone left to talk with. So we've got to, we have to start calling the shots here in a very meaningful way. And the Israelis just, they don't take our words seriously anymore because they have no reason to. No, that's all. Can I just let me do a follow. Yeah, go ahead. Sure. You know, you see Trump's in a box and we all acknowledge this. And it's not binary in this case because I now see Israel first writers and publications,
Starting point is 00:36:26 including the Murdoch owned publications that's subtly attacking Trump on other issues. That's kind of a warning shot to him. So that means that Trump actually does seem to want to get to peace. And the Israel, are furious about it, they're ordering us and demanding that we listen to their commands, as we always do. So, but Joe, if we're being honest and realistic about this, there is no reason for Trump to be in a box. He's the president of the United States and the commander in chief. He could just say, no, we're taking our military and going home.
Starting point is 00:36:58 No, I don't have to listen to your stupid orders. And if you don't listen to my orders, now we're gonna have a conversation about forget ally, whether you're an enemy or not. But obviously, Trump's not gonna do that. No other American president in our lifetimes had the courage to do that. Congress won't do that. The American media pretends there are allies. So I mean, what do we, we're all having nonsense, fake conversations, aren't we?
Starting point is 00:37:22 The reality is the only reason why this box exists is because Israel has captured our government. Otherwise, this would not be a rational conversation. These guys don't do anything we want, and they constantly drag us back. in a war and this war has already caused us over $113 billion. So can we be honest with the American people and say that our government is controlled by Israel and that we're occupied? There's like no other conclusion to come to. I wish I could argue with you.
Starting point is 00:37:53 I wish I could say like, no, actually it's not that bad because of X, Y and Z. But when you simply lay out the facts, the fact that we can't get out of this, even though the president clearly wants to get out of it, it does speak to, hey, what are the external pressures? what are the internal pressures that are on the president and on all of our political leaders right now. I think there is some degree where this is just pride. We can't say that we got our butts kicked. We need to restore our pride. We can't go out like this.
Starting point is 00:38:18 There's definitely some of that at play. But for us to not restrain the Israelis, to not have them in a box right now, to not say, like, we are going to start cutting off aid. If we get one more even, like, hint that you guys might be targeting the negotiators, that you guys are going to go start blowing up apartment complexes inside Lebanon. I mean, the president said, stop blowing up apartment. complexes in Lebanon. And then we basically go over there and say, well, yeah, but you can stay in Lebanon. I mean, again, the Israelis have no reason to take us seriously. And it's hard to come to a conclusion other than what you just laid out. I keep hoping that at some point, the president gets so frustrated with, you know, those of us who keep saying these things, Tucker Carlson, you guys,
Starting point is 00:38:55 myself, and he just says, I'm going to show them. And he does put Israel in a box. He does pull our troops out. And then he's like, now it's going to be the best deal ever. And those guys are just losers. Like I really, I truly hope he does that. But until we actually see some real change in the way that we behave towards Israel, this has always been my theory of the case. Like really, I'm not even mad at the Israelis at this point. Like they kind of drive me nuts a little bit. But really, it's the fact that our government continues to pay, pay the bills and let them call the shots in the relationship.
Starting point is 00:39:21 That's truly the issue here. Yep. And aside from the bills, I mean, our service members have had to pay with their lives when it comes to this global war on terror, which is really about, you know, helping Israel expand its borders. It's just, so I'm actually, I'm furious with both. You know, I'm furious with Israel using and abusing our country, our people, our service members. And I guess you're right. I mean, I'm doubly upset that our government allows it to happen.
Starting point is 00:39:50 And, you know, there's a litany of reasons we can point to. Of course, there's the, you know, Israel lobby. I do think that the president probably fears for his life. These Israelis don't even hide their threats. I mean, they threatened to use nukes against us if we don't give them what they want. So anyway, let's move on to something a little bit lighter because, so Candice Owens was on Sean Ryan's podcast. And I was listening to it and I noticed your name came up a few times, Joe. And I want to show you two clips.
Starting point is 00:40:20 Let's start with the first one and I want to get your reaction. Something happened to Trump, right? There's something to happen to all of them. Yeah. Well, every single one of them. Who? Who else? Except Joe Kent. I hope Bassie runs. I hope Joe Kent runs.
Starting point is 00:40:39 He's great. I really like Joe Kent. Yeah, he's fantastic. I'd like to see him run as well. And I think he, the way that he resigned and wrote about his conscience. So Joe, yesterday it was reported that Tucker Carlson is launching a third party. I don't know if you heard about that. I don't know if you're interested in that. but I am interested in asking you, are you considering a run in 28?
Starting point is 00:41:05 You know, I ran for office twice, and it was pretty brutal. I'm glad I did it. It was a good experience. I hate asking people for money. But look, I want to be able to, much like Tucker, I want to be part of presenting an option for people, so that especially on like the Republican, whatever MAGA was, that side, we don't have a bunch of disenfranchised people who, number one, don't show up to vote. And then number two, that allows the establishment to give us somebody.
Starting point is 00:41:29 who basically is what the GOP was before President Trump. And as I think we're learning more and more, that's really just the Unip Party at its heart. And so I do think what Tucker is expressing that frustration with both sides of the aisle and saying, man, you know, if 60%, I think it's around 60% of the American people self-identify as independence, why wouldn't we at least make a concerted effort to present that choice? Now, there's a lot of mechanics, I think, that go into how viable actually is that, getting ballot access, all those different challenges that have prevented third parties before, those still exist. But again, presenting that option, I think it's critical.
Starting point is 00:42:06 I mean, I've said publicly before, I want to help build a, you know, a populist coalition that really cares about the big issues that we talk about here. Because all the other cultural issues that we fight over constantly, it's just like they're not going to matter if, you know, our country is at the behest of a foreign lobby. If we're constantly getting involved in foreign wars, we're trying to prop up an empire. and we're driving ourselves into debt. Yeah, I mean, I agree with you. I do have to ask you a follow-up, though. Wouldn't you argue that Trump's administration today seems a lot like the neoconservative Republican establishment
Starting point is 00:42:41 prior to his first term? It pains me to agree with you, yes. I mean, again, if you look at all the data, we've had 18 months plus of Trump being back in power, and it's really hard to say that we've gotten anything else. but, you know, wars in the Middle East and all these different betrayals on things that he said that he was going to fix. And we believed in good faith that he was going to fix. So, yeah, I think the neocon establishment is back with a vengeance.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Absolutely. All right, one more clip. Let's take a look. I'd like to see him run as well. And I think he, the way that he resigned and wrote about his conscience and also the nastiness that Trump threw at him about his wife. I couldn't. I mean, I was just absolutely. Nothing makes my skin crawl more than a piece of a person who served the country.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Talk a guy who served the country whose wife was assassinated by al-Qaeda with one of my really good and Scotty words. I'm glad I did it. I'm glad I did it because I think servicemen and women needed to see that because that is the perspective that Israel holds of the men that serve. I believe that it is you are toy soldiers and we're slaves. Yeah, you're slaves. We're slaves. We're all slaves. I've had a real awakening about that. We have to be tax mules sending our money to Israel. And our sons and daughters to die for them. And people should not serve. I can't tell you how much of that exchange was cathartic for me, but I'm curious what your thoughts are.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Yeah, I mean, I obviously appreciate both of them saying those things. But they're right. I mean, there is a certain awakening that you have as a soldier after a while, that your country, the establishment, however you want to put it. They love you when you're willing to say, yeah, I'll go off and fight and die for you. And we're all volunteers, too. Like, we're not victims. I volunteered for it. I loved my former job. Even when I was disillusioned with why we were over there, I felt an obligation to the men and
Starting point is 00:44:38 women on my left and right, love my profession. However, the second that you say, I don't agree with this. And actually, I was there on the ground and I know exactly why we were doing what we were doing and it's wrong. Then they hate you. And they really hate you. And they try to destroy you because the thing that they fear the most, and this is hopefully speaking to a bunch of veterans in your audience, the thing they fear the most is those of us
Starting point is 00:44:59 who've seen inside and understand how these levers of power work who understand how the intelligence community works, how the Department of War works, they do not want us stepping out and speaking out and saying, actually, you guys have gotten us to this point and now we're going to take charge. They are absolutely terrified of that. Yeah, so Joe, that leads me to my last question. And it's an impossible one, so good luck, which is how does this movie end? because it doesn't look like the establishment is going to give an inch. So as we see plainly with our own eyes, they said Gaza was for self-defense, but now they've taken 70% of Gaza and they're bragging about it every day.
Starting point is 00:45:38 They pretended southern Lebanon's for defense and the media goes along with it, our government goes along with it. No, they're stealing that land. We all have eyes and ears. They keep insulting our intelligence and they treat us like morons and oh yeah, yeah, yeah. The guys that are putting the two million Gazans into. to a concentration camp are the good guys. And the guys inside the concentration camp are the bad guys, the terrorists, the savages,
Starting point is 00:46:02 etc. So like they're not, and they're not gonna change. Everyone in media is disgustingly corrupt on behalf of Israel. 94% of Congress works for Israel. They're talking about merging our military technology, insanity Tom Cotton's talking about, hey, why don't we merge, at least formally, the CIA and Mossad, which I think are already partly merged if you ask me. And so, and we don't want to give an inch. None of us are gonna go back to sleep.
Starting point is 00:46:28 We're not gonna go, oh, okay, well, what are we gonna do? I guess we're ruled by Israel and we're gonna have to go and die for them and work a second shift for them and pay more taxes for them. And we're okay with subjugation. Well, we're not. And every day, the number of Americans not okay with subjugation grows and grows and grows. So this is two runaway freight trains on a direct collision course. neither side giving an inch. So how in the world does this end? Well, for now, anyways, we at least
Starting point is 00:47:02 have a democratic way that we can address this. And we're going to have an opportunity with the midterms in 2026. And we can petition President Trump through social media and through all the different ways we can reach the administration and put pressure on him. Because I think people who still desire to have a political future, they can read the polling. They can see the direction this is going. They can see that, you know, even though Miriam Aadelson and all our supporters have a lot of money, they don't have all the money. And the tides are changing. The only thing I fear is that something happens dramatically in the war that escalates it into a situation where things get much worse where we take a lot more casualties. I don't want to take one more casually,
Starting point is 00:47:40 but a situation where we get involved in a ground war, et cetera, I'm worried about that because a big problem that I think we have right now with leaders in Washington, D.C., is they believe they can control everything. And so they're like, well, it's okay right now. We're just doing tip for attacks strikes and because so few of them I think have experienced combat they don't realize how unpredictable it is so that does have me very very concerned but I just think in terms of the way these next two elections the midterms and the 20 and the 28 presidential election are going to go this issue is going to be front and center like there's not a consultant out there I think that can craft a narrative or a talking point that's going to let a candidate dodge this and people are
Starting point is 00:48:19 becoming more and more aware of how the money's moved the APAC tracker all those other folks who who are out there looking at who's who you know which is really a lobbyist is giving money to which politician so i think this issue is going to be front and center that that's why i'm very excited about the things that Tucker carlson saying you know about creating a third party or at least some kind of a populist movement i think the more we can educate people too that like hey if we don't agree on you know abortion and health care and these types of things like for the for the presidency those issues don't really matter we've got to keep the main thing the main thing we've got to stop foreign governments for influence our country and we got to get out of all these wars and
Starting point is 00:48:53 focused on our own nation. So I do have some hope there. I do think that's how this ends. That's why the Israelis are going for broke. That's why they're trying to codify it into law. But just like these things were done through the ballot box in some way, shape, or form, they can be undone through the same ballot box. Yeah, I share the same hope you do, that it's electoral, it's peaceful, democratic. And that's what's great about America. That's what we want. I'm proud of the, you know, the left that has woken up and throwing out the bum incumbents. So they panicked about the revolution that would happen in New York and now Colorado. And so that's a beautiful thing to see.
Starting point is 00:49:27 I hope the right wing throw out more incumbents. Almost all of them work for Israel. And so let's make this a political revolution, not a physical one like 250 years ago. And our founding father set up a beautiful system where we can do that. All we have to do is ignore everyone in mainstream media. They're obviously lying to you. And so go forward and vote and make a difference. Joe Kent, thank you so much for joining us. Really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:49:53 Thanks, Joe. Great to see you. Thank you. All right, guys. All right. When we come back, we're going to actually get into the numbers. How much has the war against Iran cost the American taxpayers so far? And the number is much higher than our government is willing to admit. We'll be right back. All right. Let's go to our members on t.yt.com.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Karen Ola says, well, now Joe Kent agrees the foreign government of Israel is controlling the U.S. government. What a way to celebrate 250 years, huh? Look, you could argue that it's a great way to celebrate by regaining our independence. I think the first presidential candidate that says, let's end our alliance completely. And if Israel pushes us any further, they might turn into an enemy, wins the election in a landslide. But of course, all the media will be like, how dare you? Why haven't you bound to put Israel? By the way, we're objective and we're not pro-Israel.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. If you work in legacy media, that's got to be such a sad, humiliating job. Ecclectic miscellaneous writes in, what gives me hope is that the voters are finally waking up about Israel's genocide, despite legacy media as an Apex gaslighting. I just hope it's not too little too late for the Palestinians. Well, obviously, it's way too late for a lot of Palestinians, but we've got to keep fighting so that they can get their freedom at some point. We can't just leave them in Israeli prisons and concentration camps. Black Mamba 97 says, well, what if the goal was for Israel to kill all the moderates so that it can heat up?
Starting point is 00:51:34 I imagine the triple tap on elementary school was meant to anger Iran to the point where the U.S. couldn't possibly get out of it like they did in the summer of 2025. All of that is of course true. Yeah, Israel is doing everything they can and murdering everyone they need to to have more war that we pay for. Mo Larry Cheez says, Jenk, thank you. Thank you for you guys. We don't exist without you. Bloaded ego says the first president that would stand up to Israel end funding and actually tell them the F off would be a hero. That could be Trump, but that won't happen. No, because he's not a hero, he's a Israeli servant. Micrograms on Twitch says they were already in concentration camp. This just sounds even more concentrated.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Fortunately, that's true. Back on TYT, Jane Canana with you guys. Also, Faith Smith, thank you for gifting a membership on YouTube and our favorite handle. Cheesy Fingers 79. Thank you for gifting five. And then on our website on tyt.com, some wonderful people have joined through there. Lucky dwarf and Dandelion 24. Everybody's got funny handles.
Starting point is 00:53:07 All right, love you guys. Thank you for using tyt.com slash join. It matters a lot to us. We got to stay in business and it ain't easy. If you think forces of Israel are not besieging the young Turks in TYT, you are mistaken. Of course, those vicious people attack everyone who dares criticize Israel. They must get all Americans to serve their country and not this one. Okay, so now let's go to our next story.
Starting point is 00:53:35 If you're wondering how much we Americans have had to shell out for this disastrous war in Iran, don't worry. Well, you should worry because it's a big number. But don't worry, we have the facts and the numbers for you. Anna, what is it? Well, the number is actually a lot higher than what our Secretary of Defense, Pete Heggseth, testified before the House of Representatives. Now, we'll get to that in just a moment, but real quick, the data coming out of Brown University shows us just how much the war in Iran is costing
Starting point is 00:54:08 the American people. And the numbers are super alarming. So not only have we provided Israel with $30 billion since October of 2023, okay, this pointless war against Iran, which we are, of course, fighting on behalf of Israel, has far surpassed what Pete Haxeth has to say. So let's take a look at what Pete Haxeth told Rokana during this hearing. And then I'm going to reveal the number, which is not what Pete Haxeth is citing. Take a look. You've testified that it was $25 billion in cost in terms of the munitions we used and what we paid for it. But when you add to that, the damage that was done to our bases and today's dollars for
Starting point is 00:54:54 buying replacement munitions and replacement aircrafts. What has the total cost been over the last 60 days? That number right now reflects the total cost that we're seeing. Including buying in today's dollars, the new weapons and replacements and including the damage there? That's your testimony. If there's adjustments to that, I would defer to the coptroller on that. And how much are you seeing in terms of, are you asking in terms of supplemental funding just for the Iran mission from this committee? If and when a supplemental is submitted, the majority of it would not just be for, would not be for
Starting point is 00:55:31 Iran. Munitions related to the entirety of what we want to get done. A number. What would you submit? It would be within the, on Iran, it would be less than $25 billion. But there's a lot more we would ask for beyond just Iran. You're saying it's $25 billion. Okay, I would just, if you come back, you want to revise those numbers because all the experts
Starting point is 00:55:50 are disagreeing with you when it comes to today's dollars and damage. The reason why Hegsith was struggling in that Q&A is because he was lying and he knew it. In fact, that hearing took place in April, to be fair, but the war from February 28th through June 16th, according to an analysis done by Brown University, has costed our country over $113 billion. I mean, and they have other trackers as well, Jank, including how much we Americans are forced to pay additional energy costs, right? As a result of the inflation due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and all of that. And so take a look at this next graphic. The cost of oil has jumped up to 40 point, jumped up 40.9% since the start of the conflict. And as you can see, you know, that has increased
Starting point is 00:56:53 the cost per gallon of gas by $1.15. Now, of course, that does fluctuate quite a bit. But at the end of the day, we are paying a lot more. The Iran War has cost Americans roughly $1,000 per household in higher fuel, food, and other expenses since the start of the conflict in February, according to an estimate shared last week by Moody's analytics chief economist Mark Zandi. Okay, so that is, out of control. And remember, it would be one thing if we are shelling out all this money for a necessary war to protect American national security. But that's not what this is. That is not what this is at all. We are losing American soldiers and bankrolling this war on behalf of a foreign country. Back to you, Jake. Yeah. Or if we were doing a war and it costs this much and it's
Starting point is 00:57:47 heartbreaking at super tough times for Americans, but at least we're stopping at genocide. like we did in Kosovo or Serbenica, etc. Or the Holocaust. I'm super proud that America stepped up and saved all those people from, you know, getting further, you know, annihilated in those horrible concentration camps during the Holocaust. But in this case, we're paying for a genocide and for more wars. And 80% of Americans don't want this war, 82% of Israelis do. But if you look at it closer, you take out the Palestinians.
Starting point is 00:58:23 that Arabs that are Israeli right now, and 93% of Israeli Jews say, yes, we want this war. Then I have a very simple question for them. Where is my $1,000 check? Every one of us had to spend $1,000 for the war you wanted, and 8 out of 10 of us didn't want. So when are you going to pay for it? Like whenever we ask for health care for Americans, which, by the way, every other development has universal health care, and every liar in mainstream media pretends like it's some extraordinary thing that's impossible to pay for.
Starting point is 00:58:55 But whenever Israel wants more war, Jake Tapper and everybody else on cable news goes, never asked the question, how are you going to pay for it? They're like, they say you must pay for it. Otherwise, we're going to call you an anti-Semite, okay? So all of you Americans back to work, you haven't given Israel enough money and enough war, and get a load of this stat. This war is costing us $42 million per day. Just kidding, $42 million per hour.
Starting point is 00:59:25 Every hour that goes by, so you watch all those World Cup games, boom, that's $84 million that this war cost us. It just keeps going and going and going. And our government and our media says you have no choice at all. What did you think you were in a democracy? Did you think you had freedom? We don't care if 8 out of 10 Americans don't want this war or 98 out of 100 Americans, war, 100 Americans don't want this war because this war isn't for you. You're the dumb mules who have to pay for the war of the country that Washington actually
Starting point is 01:00:02 loves, which is Israel. And there is no disputing that. These are all stone cold facts. The polling is absolutely real. Americans despise this war and don't want it. And our government and our media says, shut up and get back to work, Israel needs more money and more war. And now the question is, how much are we going to, how long, how much longer are we going to tolerate that? And elections in New York and Colorado show, not much longer. I hope not. I hope not.
Starting point is 01:00:30 But for the moment being, you have the Trump administration asking for additional funding for the war against Iran, which makes me worry, Jank, because on one hand, you have these Wall Street journal articles making it appear as though Trump is pursuing, you know, a diplomatic route. At the same time, why would you need another close to $100 billion in additional war funding? So the White House is seeking an additional $87.6 billion with a B, dollars, to help with the war against Iran. In a letter outlining the Iran war funding request, the director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, Russell Vote, wrote that 60, $27.1 billion of the fund would be used to cover costs related to the conflict with Iran
Starting point is 01:01:21 and would include $21 billion for munitions procurement and the defense industrial base. The request also contains $11.1 billion to U.S. farmers who have been negatively impacted as a result of this war. As I've repeatedly said on the show, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz not only impacts energy costs, but it also has an impact on fertilizer. A third of the world's fertilizer transits through the Strait of Hormuz. And because of this war, because of the closure of the strait, farmers have been unable to either have access to fertilizer or if they do have access to it, obviously due to the lack of supply and regular demand, the price rises significantly. So they're looking to get Congress to allocate another $11.1 billion in order to provide
Starting point is 01:02:12 some relief to the farmers. The latest funding request comes on top of Trump's proposed $1.5 trillion with a T trillion dollar budget for the Pentagon, while appropriators in the Senate and House of Representatives have advanced legislation to authorize $1.15 trillion of those funds. The White House's request that the remaining $350 billion be approved in a party line measure has been met, luckily, with skepticism from senior Republicans. Maybe those senior Republicans understand that the American people are paying attention, and this is just outrageous and ridiculous. Now, Democrats claim they're going to push back or have been pushing back, although I think it's been largely performative. They did express more explicit concerns about the request, though.
Starting point is 01:03:02 Patty Murray, the top Democrat of the Senate Appropriations Committee blasted the supplemental funding request saying that the Pentagon currently has $100 billion in unspent funds. So we've already spent over $100 billion fighting Israel's war for them. We've lost 13 service members that we know of. Hundreds of others have been wounded or injured. And then on top of that, you have the Trump administration asking for, you know, close to another. hundred billion dollars to fight Israel's war. It's ridiculous. Yeah, so 87.6 billion dollars, now what do we do on the young tourists? We predict
Starting point is 01:03:44 things for you guys, why do we do that? So you see how things work, that everything is scripted. This is all theater. And so if it was the real world and everything wasn't already pre-scripted, we wouldn't be able to predict with any degree of accuracy, would come out 50-50 on a lot of these issues, is a bill going to pass or not, right? But we have, what I would say is a nearly perfect track record on legislation. So I'm going to predict to you that, yes, they will get the funding that they want, $87.6 billion or something along those lines in that ballpark. Why?
Starting point is 01:04:21 The Democrats said they were going to block it. There's all these Republicans who say that they're disgruntled with a war. So, wow, the media says, it's 50-50. Oh my God, I wonder what's going to happen. And every article said, oh my God, the Democrats are going to block it. Is it going to be successful? They're not going to block it. It's all fake.
Starting point is 01:04:37 They're going to get just enough votes to be able to pass whatever appropriation they want for Israel. Because if they need Democratic votes, you think Fetterman won't help them? Federman threatened just yesterday to say that there's one litmus test for him. He can stay in the Democratic Party no matter what they do. But if they betray Israel, that's it, he's out, right? I mean, he's so brazen. He's saying I love Israel more than America, and so you can betray America, I don't mind, in a thousand different ways.
Starting point is 01:05:08 But if you don't do exactly as Israel orders, I'll vote with the Republicans. So he's gonna vote with them if they need the vote, and even if they don't need the vote. And then you think they can't find other Democrats, of course, again. But it doesn't matter, they're gonna find enough Republicans to vote with them. Israel always gets what it wants from our government. This is not complicated at all. This wouldn't be a debate, it wouldn't be controversial if it weren't for the industrial lying of legacy media.
Starting point is 01:05:36 Because every reasonable, rational person knows, do you think the Israeli lobby gave money to 94% of Congress for their health to cure cancer? Do you think that the politicians who took millions of dollars from APAC and the Israeli lobby are gonna vote against them out of principle? You'd have to be so incredibly stupid as to be a national reporter to believe that. That's almost never happened. So no, they will do as they are told by the people who funded their campaigns. And in this case, that's the Israeli lobby.
Starting point is 01:06:12 So we will get more wars, you will get robbed, and all of Washington works for Israel. And good news, I'm saying it ahead of time, so if I'm wrong, and they said, that's it, we're not funding this war anymore, and the war ends. You can come out here and go, oh, Jank, you see that. You didn't know anything about politics. And Israel doesn't control America at all. Let's see what happens. Yeah, let's see what happens.
Starting point is 01:06:35 All right, we've got to take a break. When we come back for the second hour, I've got some more clips from that conversation with Candace Sones and Sean Ryan. And man, they tear Trump to bits. You don't want to miss it. We'll be right back. Are you still talking about Jeffrey Epstein? Rich and powerful men, abusing, assaulting. and abandoning young women.
Starting point is 01:07:03 These rich and powerful men donate to the politicians in Washington, D.C., play golf with the elites in Washington, D.C. They are foreign leaders who we don't want to offend. They interact with our intelligence agencies that we don't want to disobey. There is something rotten in Washington. And are people still talking about this guy, this creep? All those congressmen you just saw there are on the record as protecting the child rapists who were clients of Epstein. They have not prosecuted a single person outside of Epstein and Maxwell. Yep. Not one.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Is Trump engaging in this cover up because he's in the Epstein files? I don't understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody. It's pretty boring stuff. So as the government keeps selling us, yeah, there's other people. Yeah, they rape those girls. So what? We're going to cover up for them. Why are you guys so mad?
Starting point is 01:07:56 A nation that chooses impunity for the rich and the powerful at the expense. of our children is a nation that has lost its moral purpose. Are you on the side of the people? Are you on the side of America's children? Or are you on the side of the rich and powerful who've had their thumb on the scales and shafted Americans for decades? The rest of the news media says you should not fight
Starting point is 01:08:27 for positive change. If you do, you're not really a reporter or a journalist because reporters and journalists don't care what happens. I don't agree. That's not written anyone. That's not a law. It's just a rule that they invented so that reporters didn't actually challenge the people that are in power. Well, we don't agree with that.
Starting point is 01:08:45 We think we should challenge the people in power that that actually makes you a better journalist, not a worse one. What do you guys use? We have AT&T. And how much do you pay per month? 345 and that includes a company discount. How many people? Five phones. $70 a line, right?
Starting point is 01:09:07 I've started a wireless company called Noble Mobile Mobile that is trying to cut everyone's bills in half. What would, like, a family of four costs? The average Noble mobile user is paying 42 a month, but also they're using their smartphone 17% less. Okay. How's that work out? We give you $20 back in cash every month based upon how much data you use or don't use.
Starting point is 01:09:29 You know when you're doom scrolling or messing around on your phone, you're like, oh, wait, I'm actually costing myself money right now. The goal with Noble Mobile Mobile is to encourage us to look up at our children's lovely faces, like touch grass, appreciate life. A friend of mine calls, these things are rectangles of sadness. So we're trying to change that and improve everyone's relationships
Starting point is 01:09:48 with their bones. It's a very noble cause. Well, thank you, sir. That's what he is. Been on YouTube for 20 years. The original political partner on YouTube, The Young Turks, the Young Turks. The Young Turks.
Starting point is 01:10:01 Godfather of independent media. Favorite news platform by far. Oh, it's not even close. The Young Turks. It's the largest online news show in the world. I watched you guys before I had a channel at all. And I watched Jenks, so Jenks really the start of it all. Big shout out to Cheng from Young Turks.
Starting point is 01:10:17 Jank Yugar, founder of TYT, a man who probably needs no introduction. Jenk, so great to talk to you. Great to talk to you, David. Dan, you worked for a long time, man. Anna Kasparian is one of the most followed and influential progressive women online. I love Anna. Your presence has been essential for me to really grow. To all of you know the Young Turks?
Starting point is 01:10:37 This is why what young Turks are doing is so important. I've watched you for many years. You are insightful. I thank you for that. I was going to introduce myself, but it sounds like you guys might know it. The United States and Israel got spanked. Yes, yes. Bad.
Starting point is 01:10:57 You spank that ass. Back on TYT, Jank and Anna with you guys. You know, I forgot to mention in the last segment. We have a poll both on t.y.com and on YouTube post. The U.S. spent 113 billion on the war with Iran. Has it been worth it? A, yes, B, no. So is that a poll that's like a nail biter, especially on t.com?
Starting point is 01:11:41 No, it's almost just to see how many bots are left on YouTube, on the YouTube post poll. Because is there really a single non-Zionist American who's like, oh my God, I think this war's totally been worth $113 billion. I can't wait to spend more on it. I don't think there's literally one non-Zionist in the country who believes that. And so far, it's 100 to nothing on our website. So that's not surprising.
Starting point is 01:12:11 All right, so we've got more. Let's go to this. Something happened to Trump, right? There's something to happen to all of them. I wasn't, I mean, what did you expect from Marco Rubio? Absolutely nothing. Exactly what we see. Exactly.
Starting point is 01:12:29 I, the person that I think I placed stock in was Trump. And we got played. I mean, there's no other way to say it. So to answer your question, no, I don't consider myself to be Republican. Damn. So Candace always went on Sean Ryan's podcast and they let it rip. And mainly against Trump, fun for everyone. Anna's got more.
Starting point is 01:13:00 Yeah, it was a. four to half hour long conversation. So clearly they spoke about other things, including Charlie Kirk's assassination. I got to say it was a very interesting listen and it didn't feel like four and a half hours. But I do want to talk a little bit about, I mean, just how black-pilled Sean Ryan especially is when it comes to not just the Trump administration, but I think he's like just fully disgusted by our government so much so that he doesn't think that he's ever going to vote again, which I hope that's not true. But either way, one of the most fascinating portions of this conversation was something that Candace Owen said about Trump's ties to the Aitelson.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Now, we all know, and we've talked about it multiple times before on this show, that the Aitlesons provided hundreds of billions of dollars in campaign donations to Donald Trump. But I got to say, Jank, even me, like I'm so naive that I didn't connect an important dot. Take a look. It's kind of shocking the ways that he lied. And so you have to then go, why? This is nothing like Trump 1.0. Trump 2.0 is totally different.
Starting point is 01:14:15 He took $300 million from Mary Madelson, something that he once mocked Marker Rubio from doing. He tweeted once about Sheldon Aedleson owning Marco Rubio. and you don't take 300 million from people who run the Vegas. A very generous woman. You don't take 300 million from people who run Vegas and tell them no about anything. That's how it works. You know that you could talk about that in the micro level. You know this stuff growing up, basic survival skills.
Starting point is 01:14:45 Like when people, you know, you don't borrow money from people unless you know who they are. Like, and that can apply to gambling. bangs, you know, you're time to pay up. And so Trump is not his own man, plain and simple. Now remember, the $300 million that Trump received from the Aedelson's wasn't just from Miriam. He received some of that money during his first term. And that was when Miriam Aedleson's grotesque hog of a husband, Sheldon, was still alive. And with that in mind, I just want to really emphasize, Candace is not wrong. In fact, take a look at this. Addelson is pretty shady. He made most of his fortune building casinos in Macau, one of only two regions in China where gambling is legal.
Starting point is 01:15:37 In 2012, the Justice Department launched an investigation into his company after a former employee accused him of suspicious business activities. Those activities included rampant prostitution and loan sharking, potential money laundering, and involvement with Chinese gangs known. as Triad. In 2014, Adelson donated $2.5 million to stop the legalization of medical marijuana in Florida, despite funding marijuana research studies in Israel. Is he high? In fact, he's so staunchly pro-Israel, he's casually suggested nukeying Iran just to send them a message. He was being investigated for criminal activity, including loan sharking. He was messing around with Chinese gangs. Back to you, Jank.
Starting point is 01:16:25 So I actually wrote about this in my book, Justice is Coming. I spent a good deal of time on it because I used it as a perfect example of corruption in our system. So once the Supreme Court legalized bribery, my point was, well, what's going to stop people from giving hundreds of millions of dollars? Eventually billions of dollars. And in this election cycle, Elon Musk gave over $250 million to Donald Trump, the Adelson family, has given. given over $317 million to Donald Trump. And some people say, wow, you guys are being outrageous, these wonderful, outstanding citizens. You're, you know, alluding to Vegas and potential mafia ties.
Starting point is 01:17:10 Well, first of all, he was literally charged with having ties to the triad, which is the mafia in Asia. And money laundering, long sharking, prostitution, all the things that the mob do, right? And if you didn't know this, most of the idlson money comes from China. So it's a company that makes most of its money in China that is legally bribing our president to serve a third country, Israel. Do you see how insane our system is? This isn't about Donald Trump. Remember Joe Biden also was like, oh, yeah, yeah, you want a genocide in Gaza?
Starting point is 01:17:47 I'm perfectly happy to fund it for you and gave the Israelis over $21 billion. You want to take a wild guess as to who the number one lifetime donor to Joe Biden was? Of course, the Israeli lobby, of course. Everybody knows this, only the legacy media reporters pretend not to know it. And then they'll say things like, oh my God, are you saying they might be, it sounded like Candace Owens was saying that they might be threatening Trump's life. Oh, that is outrageous. I mean, you think the Israelis, hold on it.
Starting point is 01:18:14 You think that Israelis would do that? The Israelis killed 23,000 children and they had American doctors reported head shots, chest shots. They were assassinating kids under the age of five. They're raping detainees with dogs. You think they have any moral boundaries? And the Edelson's are Israelis as well as Americans. And so, and Anna, one thing about, like, we're looking at the Lebanese prime minister,
Starting point is 01:18:42 and he's doing this, the most corrupt deal we've ever seen. He's letting Israel steal southern Lebanon and invade the rest of Lebanon anytime we want. Why? Well, he knows, like the mobsters that the Israelis are, if he doesn't agree to whatever they want, the Israelis will call him a terrorist and then murder him and his entire family. And then our press will dutifully report, the Israelis have been heroic and killed another terrorist. And so, yeah, they rule by threats and violence and death and murder.
Starting point is 01:19:14 That's great. Then in that case, I think it's just a fantastic idea to merge the IDF with our military and do what Senator Tom Cotton is creaming his pants about, which is merge Mossad with our intelligence. In fact, make it so our intelligence agencies are mandated to share intelligence with Israel. It'll work out real well for us, right? Like this is just, look, I think that the inn, like the Israelis got their foot in the door with the money, the bribery. And then the neo-conservatives, the deep state, I mean, our government is littered with people who don't value our country and just see it as the host for Israel's, you know, resources essentially. Okay. agree with, but I can see why she thinks what she thinks. So it is true that Trump's second term is different from his first term. There's no question. I mean, there are no brakes on this car. He is just going for it, whether it's the greed, the corruption, the, you know, the warring.
Starting point is 01:20:28 The thing with Trump is, yeah, he didn't start any new wars in his first term. But he did things that were extremely hawkish that flew under the radar essentially, right? So ripping up the Iran nuclear deal is what he did in his first term. That was in 2018. That set the stage for what we're experiencing today with this stupid nonsensical war against Iran. Remember, he was the one who dropped the mother of all bombs. I believe in Syria, if I'm not mistaken. I mean, he did all. He expanded the drone war to such an extent that the collateral damage, meaning the number of civilians killed by our drones was so extreme that he ordered the government to stop reporting those numbers because the federal government would put out reports about, you know, casualty numbers and things like that. He was very hawkish. But again, I think it flew under the radar because you have the left that's like screaming from the mountaintops about what Trump is up to. They're also screaming from the mountain tops about Trump's self enrichment. The fact that he's super corrupt and he's like, making all these deals for himself as he's sitting in the Oval Office.
Starting point is 01:21:41 But the right didn't trust the left at all. Like there was no one on the left who they would listen to. And I think it's because, I don't know, there was no crossover, jank. Like the left was 100% convinced everyone on the right is demonic and vice versa. So everyone existed in these bubbles where I don't know if this information ever got to people like Candice. You get what I'm saying? So he dropped the mother wall bombs on Afghanistan, and I want to really go off on how important it is that Candace and others and Sean are talking about his hypocrisy this time around. But let's watch the clip first. Trump is not running this administration. It wasn't a gift. It wasn't, hey, I really love what you're doing. Here's $300 million.
Starting point is 01:22:29 It came with contingencies, demands, one of it being that they wanted to annex the West Bank. which was something that was told to me by Charlie and Andrew Colvette, who were present for that meeting between Mary Madelson and Donald Trump, that she said that. I'll cut you this check. But when we want to annex the West Bank, that's what they wanted in exchange. So now I think he probably has a little bit of regret taking the money.
Starting point is 01:23:01 You think so? I think so. I don't think he likes not being his own man. I think that's what a lot of the lashing out is about. I think Trump at his core wants to be liked, and I think he knows he's not liked right now. You think he'll ever be liked again? No. Me neither.
Starting point is 01:23:18 Damn. Look, I value that. And the reason why I value it isn't because I'm not a fan of Trump. I value it because those are two people who are guided by their principles and their values, which is so rare to see in today's like grifter-filled environment. You know what I'm saying? So you still see people who have been betrayed by Trump. He broke every promise. And they're still like in this weird cult where they're defending him. You know, at least Candace Owens and Sean Ryan are willing to tell the truth. He promised us things. He didn't live up to those promises. Now we're against him. And I really do appreciate that. Yeah. Probably the post I'm most proud of on X is is one of the most controversial ones I've had where I said I'd rather be in the populist woods than in an establishment prison. after Trump won. And is it because I like Trump? No, the exact opposite.
Starting point is 01:24:13 Because I get estimated that the populace woods, which is online media, would break free of the talking points of establishment media, which is corporate media, that's cable news, New York Times, et cetera. So the establishment in my lifetime has done nothing but propaganda for the rich and the powerful. They hate outsiders, constantly viciously attack them.
Starting point is 01:24:37 They love inside. constantly protect them. So now here we are and you just saw what's happening in the Poppius Woods. They're shivering Donald Trump as he rightly deserves politically. And so, I mean, if I told you a couple of years ago, Sean Ryan, who was, you know, one of the bigger right-wing podcasters and Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson and Megan Kelly and on and on, Marjorie Taylor Green, Tom Massey, are all hitting Trump harder than any Democrat. You'd have said there's no way In fact, I don't know about you in particular, whichever viewer you are, but we do know, and understandably so, that a giant percentage of our side said there's a zero percent chance
Starting point is 01:25:20 that'll happen. And here we are, you're seeing it with your own eyes. And let me explain why that's so important. Because it's not like, to Anna's point, Trump's hypocrisy didn't exist before, and we would point it out until we were blue in the face. But it's it hits different when someone from the right tells their viewers on the right, hey guys, you're not imagining it. The left wing isn't lying about it.
Starting point is 01:25:45 It's true, Trump did say about how Rubio was owned by the Edelson's, and then Trump became owned by the Edelson's. And that is enormously hypocritical. So when we said it, the right wing and some of the independents just shut it off, oh, they've got Trump derangement syndrome, they're biased, they're on the left. I'm not going to count it. Well, now everyone is saying it. And Anna, I think that just makes a world of difference. It makes a world of difference because the way that I see it is that for the longest time, certainly my entire adult career. Like, I've noticed that there's been this paradigm where, again, the left defends the left, the right defends the right, and there is no honest assessment of your own side.
Starting point is 01:26:32 And here at TYT, we do an honest assessment of our own side every day, you know, and some people get upset at us for it. But I want to be honest because I don't want to be guided by, oh, I defend a tribe. I want to be guided by who I really am as a person, what my principles are, what my values are. And if you're not living up to the values that you purport to have, which made me want to vote for you in the first place, why would I continue defending you? So the reason why I appreciate this, Jake, is because it's breaking that, I guess, corporate media paradigm of divide and conquer. I don't think they intend to divide and conquer, but that's what happened. And you're just not getting the full story. So if you're looking at MSNBC, you're not getting the full story.
Starting point is 01:27:15 You're not really doing an honest assessment about how the Democrats are effing up, you know? So that's why I think this is important. And you're seeing it percolate. You're seeing it grow in independent media. And that's happening for a reason. Yeah, I'll just add one quick thing and then I want to go back to the clips. Look, I'm super proud that we challenged the Democratic Party from the left for the last 15, 20 years, right? I love being independent that way.
Starting point is 01:27:39 And so it's, and unfortunately it wasn't reciprocated for 18 out of the 20 years. But finally, the fact that some on the right are being honest and calling out their own, it's such a relief. Absolutely. So we do actually have more clips, but we do have to take a break. Let's do that and when we come back, we're going to dive into the topic of Trump's corruption. They had a lengthy discussion about that. And we have some updates on how other media figures are attacking Trump for corruption, but for an ulterior motive.
Starting point is 01:28:11 We'll be right back. Back on T.YT, JCDC, writes in on X. We're on X now. So we're reading some of those comments. Hello from Ireland, Jen Canana. Hey, that's a country that I can actually go to. I do. I am thinking of doing a trip to Ireland, not anytime soon, but where we,
Starting point is 01:28:39 tease the British, so look forward to that. Polina, Palestine 1 writes, and what about contributing to a public opinion shift in Israel? They need to understand state terrorism is not something you're support in a modern state that expects to be respected or at least not despised. It's a great idea, and in the long run, I definitely want to do that. I want to bring the Israeli citizens back into civilization and in a developed world and out of fascism, and then I want Israel to be safe. independent state. But right now, they're currently in a place where they're kind of hopeless.
Starting point is 01:29:17 Now, the only thing that's going to snap them out of it is some losses in war because they feel invincible. And so whenever you feel invincible, fascism begins. And so we're not going to be able to talk them out of it. We're not going to be able to convince them that Palestinians are human beings with equal, like, worth in their lives as Israelis. There's Israeli citizens do not believe that at all at this point. Mekar Dave writes in on Super Chat, I grew up in the 70s and 80s and Candace is dead wrong. Trump doesn't give a crap for what average people think about him. He does care about what the wealthy think about him because he knows he's daddy's boy.
Starting point is 01:29:59 I think you're half right, I think he cares way more what the wealthy think is a good point. But he cares about his popularity ratings and his television ratings. He cares about all of it in my opinion. And, oh, Malamore, thank you for contributing on Superchat. Back on TY, Jank and Anna, with you guys. We're gonna read one quick super check. Qualimar Rap, Wap, wrote in, Jank, Anna, you are on fire.
Starting point is 01:30:55 This merging of populace is key to have a chance to prevail against the oligarchs and foreign interests and forever wars. But thank you for saying that. We appreciate it. And yeah, if we are not strong enough, if we're divided, will never be able to beat the establishment in their infinite amount of money and infinite amount of propaganda from mainstream media. All right, this is the time of the show when we try to help you guys out by giving

Starting point is 01:32:44 All right, Anna, what's next? All right, well, I wanted to show a few more clips from Candice Owens' conversation with Sean Ryan. So let's get into it. As we all know, the Trump family has certainly been enriching. As we all know, the Trump family has certainly been enriching themselves during Trump's second term. Trump did a little bit of that in his first term and a lot of it in his second term. And we here at the Young Turks are not the only ones noticing. The left aren't the only people noticing.
Starting point is 01:33:14 It turns out that there are people on the right who are also paying attention. Take a look. How much wealth has he amassed since he took this presidency? The better question is how much more do they need? How much more is the Trump family need? I mean, Ivanka swimming to Albania. I was like, what, like, how much more money do you guys need? When is enough enough?
Starting point is 01:33:37 never. Yeah. And that's why you feel like they fully have given themselves in because none of them were like that before. You don't think so? No. I think I spent a lot of time with Don Jr., Don Trump Jr., and he was a real person.
Starting point is 01:33:55 He was certainly a very close friend of Charlie's. He shocked me the most after the assassination because I knew Don. And I challenged right away. challenged him. I said, if Don Jr., who hunts, that's the guy he knows the wilderness, if Don Jr. comes out and says, he believes that Charlie's neck stopped a 30-od-6 bullet, I'll back off. I don't think Don Jr. has even spoken about July assassination since. Yeah, you can tell that she's in a lot of pain. Every time they talk about Charlie Kirk,
Starting point is 01:34:32 you can just feel it. But anyway, I mean, she's absolutely right about, so is he, about the unbelievable level of greed. You drank just yesterday on the. the show, I was covering the fact that Trump had $2.2 billion in revenue last year, his various businesses. He's using the office of the presidency to enrich himself. And the bulk of that revenue, bulk of that money came from his various crypto schemes and ventures. Yeah. So what people are doing is if they want to get out of jail, literally, they are paying off him through the meme coin, the crypto and all of that, if they want to deal with the government, they put in some money.
Starting point is 01:35:16 I mean, it's just outright bribery. It's the most outrageous thing I've ever seen. On top of that, Trump is literally doing trades right before he announces deals. So, oh, we're gonna do a pause in the war, we're gonna get rid of the tariffs. He'll make hundreds of trades making tens of millions, hundreds of millions of dollars. I mean, that's what everybody was pissed at Nancy Pelosi and wanted the Stock Act for, right? Trump's doing it on a thermonuclear level. But Candace is definitely wrong.
Starting point is 01:35:44 She misread them the first time around. We didn't misread them. Trump has always been a deeply corrupt, greedy goon, who is a sociopath and doesn't care about anyone but himself. Yeah, and in fact, I mean, Jared Kushner got that fat Saudi investment into his equity firm on the tail end of Trump's first term. I mean, it's just, the list goes on and on. So yeah, the corruption was there.
Starting point is 01:36:10 I think what's catching people's attention now is how brazen the corruption is, and it's on a grander scale. And on top of it, when a politician that you have all this faith in betrays your trust by reneging on all of those campaign promises, suddenly you're going to pay attention to what he's up to with the corruption. You know what I'm saying? So I think in his first term, in their minds, he was doing things. that they liked, and maybe they either turned a blind eye to the corruption or didn't notice it
Starting point is 01:36:43 because it wasn't as brazen as it is this time around. But the corruption was there. You're right about that. I want to go to one final video. Here is where, man, Sean Ryan really lets loose. And this was yet another cathartic moment for me personally. Let's take a look. So to answer your question, no, I don't consider myself to be a Republican.
Starting point is 01:37:05 Yes, I do consider myself to be a conservative. Yeah, I'm the same. I don't even know what the . I don't even know if I'll ever vote again. That's what I feel. Probably not. I just, you know, going through this and uncovering everything that we've uncovered, nothing's changed. I don't know about you, but for me, it's a ton of stress.
Starting point is 01:37:34 Being associated with these people, now they have my number, they can reach me. I hate that . And then, what was it all for? This that we see. Do you think this needed to happen? What did happen? This veil to be lifted. Yeah, I have to believe that. There is true evil being exposed. I pity a man who has relinquished what was a real power.
Starting point is 01:38:05 People loved him, believed in him, you know, thought that he could change things. I pity for earthly riches. I almost wish I had pity for him, but I just don't. Yeah. He said, how do you not? He's a slave. How do you not? He's a slave. Incredible. So, Jank, while you have Sean Ryan and Candice Owens turning on Trump for the right reasons, they see his corruption, they see that he broke his campaign promises,
Starting point is 01:38:36 you also have some people in right-wing media who are calling Trump's corruption out for other reasons that are unsavory if you ask me, we can get to that in just a second, but I want to get your thoughts on that last clip we just watched. Yeah, so look, a lot of people on the right and the left are feeling what Sean Ryan's feeling, which is, oh, it turns out this was all a play. It was we've gone to the theater and we thought it was real. And when you find out that everybody's an actor, the news anchors or news actors, the politicians or actors who are just servants for their donors, that's greatly disillusioning and disheartening in a way that it's hard to avoid getting either depressed or furious, right?
Starting point is 01:39:27 Because so you sons of bitches on television and at the New York Times and in Congress, you've been lying to me my whole life. And I believed it. And that's, so I feel the same way that Sean does coming out of from the other part of the political spectrum. Anna, you could tell my rage on the show about the media more than anyone else because I went to the theater and I didn't know it was the theater. I thought that I remember being a kid 10, 12, 14 years old watching meet the press.
Starting point is 01:40:01 Yeah, I was a political nerd. And I thought those things were real, that the politicians were really having debates and they had ideology and they had principles. It turns out everyone on TV was lying to us. They don't have any principles. They just cash the checks and do whatever their donors tell them. And in fact, on the Young Turks, we've shown that and proven it to you 100 times over. So every report in the country doesn't have access to the same materials.
Starting point is 01:40:25 They can't see us being controlled by the donors? Come on, of course they can. So they've been maliciously, malignantly lying to your whole lives. It's unforgivable. Yeah, it's definitely unforgivable, Schenk. I think the difference between you and me is you're fixated on it. I've accepted it and they're dead to me. Like they're totally dead to me.
Starting point is 01:40:47 I've had legacy media reporters reach out to me for various pieces they're writing about other public figures. And I ignore them. I'm not going to help you with your piece. Do not reach out to me. I'm not interested in helping you. Okay? Like they're dishonest. And I grew up admiring legacy media.
Starting point is 01:41:04 I grew up aspiring to be accepted by them. Now I am the danger, okay? Like I'm not interested in them. And so you're right, okay? I just, I just want you to move on at this point though. Like accept it, it is what it is, and focus on defeating them. No, I get it, I get it. But Anna, part of defeating them is waking everybody up, right?
Starting point is 01:41:28 So that's why these days, you know, we still, of course we still have this plenty of disagreements with people on the right, like Sean and Candace and stuff. That's normal, that's healthy. That's a democracy and and some disagreements are significant. But that's not the point. The point is that in this critical time when we need everybody to wake up together on the left and the right and the middle and realize, oh, okay, I'm, I need you to ignore legacy media. I need you to get your parents and your grandparents off the television set.
Starting point is 01:41:58 That's the matrix plugged into the back of their necks because it's getting them to vote for disgustingly corrupt politicians who sell us all out. If everybody's voting against incumbents in their own primaries and we, you know, politically slaughter the establishment and we get a whole new Congress and we get money out of politics, oh my God, I'll never talk about it again. I'll be the happiest man alive. I hear you, I'm gonna say something a little bit controversial. Bear with me.
Starting point is 01:42:28 You said something about division in America and how the media likes to heart, like really focus on some of these like wedge issues that are, sure, they are important, but in the grand scheme of things, I think are intentionally framed in a way to get Americans to fight each other, right? And my mind wanders back to the whole Tyler Robinson, Charlie Kirk assassination thing. Obviously, there are lots of things that don't make sense with the official narrative. And so I personally don't buy the official narrative. Sorry. As controversial as people by I think that is, it is what it is. That's what I think.
Starting point is 01:43:05 It was too on the nose. Like the whole, oh, he had a transgender lover. So this was obviously a leftist who assassinated a right wing, you know, prodigy and whatever. You know what I mean? Like I feel like it was a narrative meant to spark a civil war in this country. That's what I think. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:43:28 And luckily that didn't happen. Yeah, certainly to divide us, right? Right? I don't know, and I do know that of course Israeli strategy is have installed puppets. If you're still hilariously worried about tropes, that's very cute, right? No, the Israelis always try to install puppets with little strings attached, the Lebanese prime minister, the Jordanian prime minister, the leader of Egypt, the leader of America, whether it's Biden, Trump, or really any president in our lifetimes. But if the puppet part doesn't work, then they go and try to destroy the country by creating a civil war.
Starting point is 01:44:05 So the country's too busy attacking one another instead of worrying about Israel. So now, look, I don't think we're at that stage now because it's not like Israel's lost control of our government. They still have a very, very firm, vicious grasp on our government. We're still fully occupied. I mean, look at the right wing lamenting the fact that their hero, turn to the very, turned out to be an Israeli servant. So, and what did Biden do? He was an Israeli servant.
Starting point is 01:44:34 There's no disputing that. That is an empirical fact. The largest donor to Biden his entire life was the Israeli lobby. And what did he do? In the middle of a genocide, he sent them a $21 billion gift from us, all of us, to murder more Palestinians. That's what an Israeli servant looks like. Okay, now on Tyler Robinson, Anna, I don't know your opinion is even controversial anymore
Starting point is 01:44:57 in terms of who did the killing. We don't know for sure who did the killing, but the official story is garbage. No, I don't believe it at all. And look, I know there's people who still watch TV and think the New York Times is the Bible, and they find our opinions outrageous about this. Okay, good, we're even, because I found your opinions outrageous. You think that that weapon didn't go through Charlie Kirk's neck? As the guy from Torquaint, USA said, because Charlie had a really thick neck, you think
Starting point is 01:45:30 the assassin, instead of having two different guys, the official story is, no, there aren't two guys in two different sets of clothes. Tyler Robinson was doing a fashion show and changed twice in the middle of the assassination. Oh, come on, and he dis- They paved over the crime scene, guys. They paved- Oh, Charlie Kirk gets assassinated and days later, they paved. over it? Yeah, so really? Come on, come on.
Starting point is 01:45:58 Now, a lot of people don't know the whole thing about the rifle being disassembled and reassembled and the whole thing. So, oh, I wrote it on the bullets and my text say I acted alone, not with Israel, whatever, right? Okay, and I get it, if you haven't, don't know all those facts and you just believed whatever you read in the papers or whatever, no problem, okay? But if you know all those facts and you still think Tyler Robinson did it and that it's wild conspiracy theories to think of anything else, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:46:25 Honestly, you're a bit of a sucker, like a giant, giant sucker. And it's super easy to fool you. So if you're feeling, have feelings about, oh, you guys sound conspiratorial, brother, our feelings about you or, I'm sorry. I mean, you, because they love throwing stones, right? Oh, you guys are crazy if you don't believe the government. Have you conspiratorial nuts, right? Okay, you're calling me nuts. I'm calling you an idiot, to be honest.
Starting point is 01:46:50 No, no, they're being fair, Jank. I put my full faith behind Cash Patel. I mean, he has done such a great job as FBI director. By the way, there'll be tons of like left wing Zionists who are like, Cash Patel, what a moron, what an idiot. Tyler Robinson, I believe him 100%. I know, I know, I know. Anyway, let's move on to our next story, shall we?
Starting point is 01:47:11 There's a lot to talk about. So let's get into this. This is not an easy speech for me to give. I am a private person by nature. And I spent most of my life talking about the people that I represent. the issues facing our communities, and the work that continues to be neat done. Talking about myself has never come naturally. But I believe that I owe an explanation to the people of New Jersey's 7th District,
Starting point is 01:47:40 to my colleagues in this chamber, and to the American people for my absence. So that's Tom Kane, Jr. He's a Republican congressman, and he's telling you why he was absent for four. whole months. And now the brother doesn't want to talk about himself. That's why he's a politician. Wait, what? What was the mystery about? We're going to sort it out here. And is it right to criticize him despite his excuse? Anna, tell us more. Oh, we're going to criticize him. Listen, I struggled with depression, especially in 2016. It was pretty bad. So I know how serious depression is. And I want to be clear that we are not going to chide him for struggling with
Starting point is 01:48:25 depression, which is his excuse for not showing up to work. But I'm going to chide him for his past votes and also the fact that so many Americans, so many struggle with anxiety and depression and are expected to show up to work. And we do have a Congress that could provide paid time off for illnesses, mandatory pay time off for things like illnesses, childbirth, you know, stuff like that. But it looks like he's not a big fan of those types of policies. We'll get to that in just a second. But first, here's the congressman describing his battle with depression. Several months ago, due to health concerns, I entered the hospital for some testing. I did not believe that this would result in a long-term stay. I was given the diagnosis of depression.
Starting point is 01:49:14 Now when people hear the word depression, many people think simply feel it means feeling sad. But depression is so much more than that. It is physical. It is emotional. And until you experience it yourself, it is difficult to fully understand how powerful this illness can be. The doctors recommended that I remain in the hospital to address my illness. They explained to me that this would be the fastest way. to recovery. And to be honest, I was hesitant. I didn't think that I had time for it. But as the over
Starting point is 01:49:52 48 million of my fellow Americans being treated for this illness have come to discover, there is no timeline for healing. There is no timeline for recovery. Only the work of getting better one day at a time. Even cited the 48 million American struggle with depression statistic, meaning he knows full well what Americans are going through in regard to mental health. I'm sure he knows nothing about, you know, postpartum depression, which is sometimes so severe that, you know, the mother will end up carrying out a terrible act as a result of that very, very terrible depression. Does he think that that mother should have, you know, paid time off after giving childbirth?
Starting point is 01:50:42 No, he doesn't. based on the way that he has voted in the past. So before I get to that, Jank, I want to give you an opportunity to weigh in on what he said on the House floor. Yeah, I'm going to say something. I don't know if it's controversial or not, but. It's going to be controversial. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:50:58 I don't really believe him. Oh, okay, okay. Yeah. So like, I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm not even sure what the odds are. I don't know if it's 50, 50 or 70, 30 in one direction or not. But he's a politician, they're giant liars. So if you said to me generic politician says he was away because of depression, my first
Starting point is 01:51:20 guess would be he's on drugs. So politicians haven't earned my respect or trust. So I don't believe, I'm not saying he definitely doesn't have it. But if we found out he doesn't have depression at all and this was a giant lie, I wouldn't be 1% surprised. And think about it. If you've done something that's going to get you in a lot of trouble, what's the best excuse you could have?
Starting point is 01:51:43 Depression, you can't criticize me, it's an illness, okay? In fact, you should have sympathy for me, right? But as you're about to point out, he doesn't seem to have any sympathy for anyone else. And if you're wondering, hey, why this brother says he doesn't even like talking and he doesn't like voting, he doesn't like anything, so why do you become a politician? He's a member of the elites. His dad was a governor of New Jersey, and his grandfather was a longtime congressman from New Jersey. So he's like, well, you know, I, this is how my family makes this money.
Starting point is 01:52:11 We're corrupt. We become politicians. We sell you out to our donors. And then I don't even show up for work. So you expect me to trust this guy? I don't trust him one one bit. Was Tricky Harry Pizziky, his father? No. See, as it turned out, so we had this hilarious ad that Anna is referring to when I was growing up in New Jersey. And they, they were like, Tricky Harry Pizziky, right? So good. Yeah. It turns out Harry Pizziky was for getting money out of politics. Oh no.
Starting point is 01:52:40 Yes, and he was the good guy. And they were spending a lot of money to get us to believe that he was the bad guy and he was the one doing tricks. But remember, back then, we didn't know that all the ads were a lie, all the news was a lie. So that's the great irony. That's terrible. Yes. That's terrible.
Starting point is 01:53:01 Although it was a catchy, catchy ad. Anyway, getting back to Keene. Getting back to Keene. So he has missed 142 votes in Congress. By the way, I'm shocked that Congress voted on anything during that time. He had been absent from the House of Representatives since March. The House floor speech you just watched was his first day back. Again, he missed 142 votes. And by the way, he was still receiving his full congressional salary. Keep in mind that Congress is is on recess more than half of the year. So it's amazing to me that, you know,
Starting point is 01:53:43 he's been missing in action for this long. Now making matters worse during his two decades in the New Jersey Senate, he has consistently opposed paid sick leave for his constituents. He voted against Jersey's Earned Sick Leave Act, which mandates just five paid sick days per year for the state's employees.
Starting point is 01:54:03 And when I say the state's employees, I mean workers in the state. I don't mean public workers only. Workers in the state. He also voted against New Jersey's No Surprise Medical Bills Act and two of its paid family leave laws in 2008 and 2018. He voted in favor of Trump's so-called big beautiful bill, which of course establishes work requirements for people who are so low income that they qualify for Medicaid. On Tuesday, he seemingly introduced legislation to provide cover for his pretty shady and hypocritical past, given how he wants empathy when his past shows that he had zero empathy for his own constituents. So what he's proposing is called the Mental Health Parity Enforcement and Funding Act.
Starting point is 01:54:50 And here's what he had to say about it. Yesterday, I introduced the Mental Health, Parity Enforcement and Funding Act to ensure that Americans have access to mental health and substance use challenges. This is a cause that I championed in the New Jersey Senate and I'm proud to help lead this fight in Congress. As we all know, it's easy to propose legislation, especially when you know that that legislation is unlikely to go anywhere. And this legislation is unlikely to go anywhere. But in the comments, many people are not buying it. In fact, one person says he only cares now because it's directly affecting him.
Starting point is 01:55:24 It's the conservative way. To be fair, I think it's everyone's way. I think everyone is under a certain impression about any particular issue until it hits them. And then they realize, oh, I guess I was wrong. But I don't know if that's the case here. By the way, he wasn't too depressed to engage in stock trades while he was missing in action from Congress. So Keene signed off on five stock trades between April 14th and May 17th, according to the document obtained by Not Us, which reported it's the second. In the second time in two months, he's filed a congressional stock disclosure form.
Starting point is 01:56:03 The first, he digitally signed on April 13th, and it indicated that he bought and sold shares of eight stocks from mid to late March with a combined value of between $50,000 and $190,000. Yeah. So. Oh my God, I'm so depressed. I can't do anything. Buy, sell, buy, sell. Okay. I know.
Starting point is 01:56:28 so you're not too depressed to make money. So look, since he is a giant hypocrite who voted against paid and sick, paid family and sick leave, then he shouldn't get it. So he should pay back the four months of salary that he didn't show up to work. I mean, it was his idea that you're all bums and you don't need sick leave and you don't need family leave. And you're what, I presume he thought you were all freeloading or something. Hey, freeloader, why don't you give us four months of salary back?
Starting point is 01:56:58 So you just expect us to give you a four month vacation? I mean, it's your ideology, right? That sick leave is not important. It's not important at all. Oh, but when it's you, we have to care. No, I don't care. Give me our goddamn money back. And then about the stock trading is absurd.
Starting point is 01:57:18 And look, Anna, again, I don't even believe him, so I have zero sympathy for him. And if you find that outrageous, not you, Anna, but anybody watching out there. I remember we were covering Mark Sanford when he was a governor of South Carolina, and he was missing for quite some time, about a week or so, and everybody started to get like asked questions. And then they, his staff put out a statement saying, oh, no, no, he's just been hiking on the Appalachian Trail for a week. And I said, no, he hasn't, that's an obvious lie, right?
Starting point is 01:57:50 And I swear to you, at the time, there were people in media who were outraged by what I said. They're like, how could you possibly say that? That's the governor of South Carolina. You think he's making it up that he's been on the Appalachian Trail? I'm like, yeah, I do. And it turns out, of course he wasn't on the Appalachian trail. He was with his Argentinian lover. He was on the trail of something, okay, but it wasn't an Appalachia.
Starting point is 01:58:15 So these politicians are disgusting liars, and he's super happy to deny you sick leave and you family leave after you have a kid, but when it comes to him, oh, oh, oh, oh, no. No, no, zero sympathy. And why don't you give us back the money you did you made from stock trading when you were so depressed? Yeah, I know, I mean, you make a great point. Now, he's getting some heat for members of his own party, which is really interesting because Lauren Bobert in particular is just continuing to take jabs at him. She says, I mean, sure, take care of yourself, get healthy, but who gets to take four months off of
Starting point is 01:58:55 work because they're sad. I don't care what party you're part of. It's not okay. Now, of course, depression is much more severe than just being sad. So I want to correct that. But nonetheless, she also says, I think not showing up for work is discounting the voters. True. It's not right. It's wrong. That is literally taxation without representation. It is absolutely awful. I can't imagine missing one or two days. This is honestly, the only thing that's more shocking than the number of days Keen was missing in action is the fact that Lauren Bobert made a great point. She's right.
Starting point is 01:59:32 I mean, he is shortchanging the constituents. And what's amazing about this, Jenk, is a Republican took jabs at him. But Democrat Representative Richie Torres slammed Bobert for her comments telling TMZ. that's that's the world we're living in now telling TMZ that you know she should be more compassionate and empathetic but many feel just the way Lauren Bobert feels about Keene you know missing this much time showing up to work so Richie Torres is talking about two different Republicans Bobart and Kane so he could really take either side as a theoretical Democrat so which side does he take well
Starting point is 02:00:17 Bobert did do one thing Richie Torres did like, which is she voted with the Democrats to release the Epstein files. And that hurt his beloved Israel. So she's wrong. And Tom Kane, of course, is a loyal foot soldier to Israel. So he doesn't really have to show up to work. That's okay. And to be fair to Tom Kane, Jr., or in this case, actually, to be fair to the Israeli
Starting point is 02:00:41 lobby, Tom Kane Jr. will vote for you as long as you pay him on any given issue, right? So really, like, what difference does it make if he's there or not? Now, what difference does it make if any of these servants are there or not? They're not the ones making the decisions. Their donors make the decisions and say, hey, boy, boy, go vote for oil subsidies, go vote for not negotiating drug prices, higher drug prices, boy. And Tom King Jr.'s jobs go, oh, yes sir, of course, sir. I don't know, maybe his donors will spank him like, hey, we needed more corrupt votes.
Starting point is 02:01:14 Get back in there and give me your goddamn vote. So- It might cheer him up. Yeah. Oh, more money, that's the one thing that does to your man. Anyways, seriously, guys, look, this is important. There's two different issues in this story. Tom Kane Jr. and depression. So Lauren Bobert's totally wrong about depression.
Starting point is 02:01:32 It's not just being sad, right? You don't just not show up or have huge difficulties because you're, oh, golly gee, you're just not feeling that well. No, it's usually a chemical reaction. It is an illness. It is super serious. That's why I'm more angry at Tom Kane Jr. for hiding behind it when he had enough time to do stock trading and enough energy and et cetera to be able to do that and to serve all
Starting point is 02:01:58 of his donors. But oh my god, golly gee, I just couldn't show up for this. Anyway, if he's telling the truth that I have a slightly different point of view on it, but since he's a politician and I don't believe him at all, then that for me takes the depression conversation out of this issue. All right, the revolution is next. Yeah, I got two amazing candidates for you guys. You guys got to check him out. We'll be right back.
