We're all over the radar.
We're a fun show in disastrous times.
Deal with it.
You're insane.
You're just, you're crazy.
Agreed and insanity is fun.
All right, Jake Hugar and X-Ferite, next time I run for Congress.
Kidding.
He admitted he was insane on air.
He said it.

I'm not saying I have no idea how we're still in business. I'm just saying help us stay there.
TYT.com slash go. Can I see a thermometer before we get started?
We were trying to get the 40,000. Did we get the 40,000? The answer is no. Not really at all.
But we still have today and many other days, but okay, hopefully we can pick up the pace.
We do need it to stay healthy and strong throughout this time.
But I'll tell you, I see the light, not a bad way, not like I'm not walking towards it.
Don't get me wrong.
But there is a tunnel and is that blue I see?
Okay.
Oh, my God.
Get us to 2021 and I got it from there.
Okay, that's what I'm saying internally.
That's what I'm saying externally.
get us to 2021 and take off, all right, t.yt.com slash go. We love you guys.
Casper, go.
All right, before I start, I just want to, yep, there's a little bit of an echo.
Okay, it's good now. All right, let's get started.
So Trump continues to repeat all sorts of misinformation when it comes to coronavirus
in an effort to minimize the severe impact it's having on people's lives.
We now know that while coronavirus numbers have been increasing for quite some time,
time now, unfortunately, the number of deaths is also now starting to catch up with the increase
in the number of cases. So it's devastating, clearly that there needs to be more done. Dr. Anthony
Fauci made it clear that states that are experiencing this surge certainly should consider shutting
down for a second time. But Donald Trump, again, has minimized it. And the latest example is
during an interview with Sean Hannity. Let's take a look.
we do testing like nobody's ever done testing and when we test the more you test the more cases you find
other countries you know when they test and i ask them all they test when somebody's not feeling well
or when somebody walks into a hospital so we have cases all over the place most of those cases
immediately get better they get you know people they're young people they have sniffles and two
days later they're fine and they're not sick disorder of test everybody test pull up parking lots
everything else. What we've done is we've created a tremendous number of cases. The testing
is just showing up all these cases. And if you turn the news on, you'll see it's always the word
cases. They don't talk about death because deaths are way down. They talk about cases, all the time
cases. And those cases get better. And they, in most cases, in almost, I mean, literally in most
cases, they automatically cure. They automatically get better.
Okay, so we have seen data that shows that while the amount of testing has remained consistent,
the number of new coronavirus cases, meaning the percentage of people who end up testing positive,
has continued to increase. It increases literally every single day in a row.
And yesterday it was reported for the first time that the number of deaths have now spiked
when we had been experiencing, you know, a decline for weeks.
And so this is not a good situation, but of course, Donald Trump wants to give the appearance
of normalcy when in reality a lot of people are struggling right now.
ICUs are at capacity, especially in states like Florida, where they're going to have to
put elective surgeries on hold again in order to make room for coronavirus patients.
And he repeated similar talking points during his speech on the 4th of July.
Let's take a quick look at that.
Now we have tested almost 40 million people.
By so doing, we show cases, 99% of which are totally harmless.
And you know, during his interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci, I'm sorry, during his interview with Hannity, he took the opportunity to attack Dr. Anthony Fauci and essentially argue that, you know, he's a nice guy.
but he's gotten a lot of things wrong, as if Donald Trump is someone who's handled this
virus appropriately. And so I want to go to those comments real quick. And then after we do,
I'll give you the response from an actual competent adult, Dr. Anthony Fauci.
What do you make of these hot spots, as we call them, in Florida and Texas and other states
and Dr. Fauci's comments?
Well, first of all, the mortality rate, and Dr. Fauci's a nice man, but he's made a lot of mistakes.
Like, you don't have to ban them coming in from very infected China. I did it.
it anyway and we saved hundreds of thousands of lives. I banned Europe from coming in when
Italy and when France and Spain were having all the problems that we saved hundreds of thousands
of lives. A lot of people said, don't do it. They've been wrong about a lot of things, including
face masks. Maybe they're wrong, maybe not. But a lot of them said, don't wear a mask. Don't wear a mask.
And now they're saying wear a mask. So a lot of, a lot of mistakes were made. A lot of mistakes.
inject themselves with disinfectant. So I just don't think that he gets to be the arbiter of who's made
the most mistakes during this novel coronavirus pandemic. And I just want to be clear that, yes,
in the beginning of the pandemic, we're dealing with a novel coronavirus, meaning that this is a
first-time virus that a lot of people in the health community scientists were trying to really get
a firm grasp on and understand. And so in the beginning, of course, there were certain things that
weren't exactly right. But the right intentions were in place when it came to actual experts
like Dr. Anthony Fauci. When you look at someone like Donald Trump who's only motivated and
fueled by his own political interest, I mean, there's no question that he is the worst person
to listen to and trust when it comes to something that could put your life at risk or put the lives
of your family members at risk. Now, with that said, Dr. Anthony Fauci did respond, Jank, and he told
the financial times the following. I'm trying to figure out where the president got that number,
indicating that 99% of coronavirus cases are harmless. What I think happened is that someone
told him that the general mortality is about 1%. And he interpreted, therefore, that 99% is not
a problem when that's obviously not the case. Now, this is classic Fauci, trying to get actual
information out to the public, while also trying to let Trump off the hook in order.
order to prevent negative or any tension between them.
But it's already too late.
Donald Trump is now publicly attacking him.
And Fauci hasn't even spoken to Donald Trump since June.
So this is a pretty devastating update.
It doesn't seem like Trump is in, you know, it has any motivation to take this seriously.
All right.
First of all, I'd like to note that it appears Anna is trying to do meditation.
So when we come back from the Trump clips, I see like an um before she tells you the rest
of the story.
All right, now on a serious stuff.
So look, there's actually a sliver of truth in what Trump is saying.
Some percentage of, and significant percentage of cases, folks are completely asymptomatic
or it is really minor, and it has to do with your T cells.
Beyond that, I'm not a scientist, Jim, I'm a talk show host.
And so I can't explain the details to you guys, but some folks have said as many as 35% of
the cases basically show very little symptoms than not, okay?
Now, is it true that that means 99% of the cases are totally harmless, as Trump said?
No.
And the mortality rate reported by a lot of folks is also too high, because ironically, we actually
are not seeing most of the cases. If we tested more, we would see there's so many more cases
and that would bring them mortality rate down because the deaths are indisputable. There's
a certain number of deaths, and if there's more cases, that means the mortality rate is smaller
as a percentage, right? So I know a lot of that sounds confusing. Let me see if I could
boil it down further for you guys. Of the cases that we know, and there's plenty of cases we don't,
But of the cases we know, 20% wind up getting hospitalized.
I'm actually shocked at what a gigantic number that is.
If you're hospitalized, that is nowhere near sniffles.
I mean, it has to get real bad before they allow you to be hospitalized.
And so, you know, in the early on in the epidemic, I had a fever.
Turns out I had a flu and an infection, I did not have coronavirus.
But I had 103 degree fever and they're like, no way, we're not even going to test you, let
alone hospitalized or anything along those lines. So it has to be very severe to get hospitalized,
and 20% of the cases do. So the idea that it's 99% of the case or no big deal is a total
misunderstanding of the situation. And by the way, though, it is true, like I explained before,
that some percentage of the cases are no big deal, but it's impossible to know what you're
going to get. It's like a crazy lottery. Dr. Fauci said, look, it's the perfect storm,
because there's this giant range of symptoms from almost nothing to death.
And it jumped from animals to humans.
It's transmitted super easily and has a relatively high mortality rate.
So when you put all those things into one batches we have here, we have a very dangerous virus,
but it's impossible to determine if you're going to get nothing or death.
Oh, Jesus Christ, and that is boiled down by Trump to,
Oh, it's totally hardness for 90% of people and I knew every day and he said,
I prevented hundreds of thousands of cases. Get the hell out of here. That is insane
number to throw out there. Also, I mean, there's so much that we don't know because how many
people are sick with coronavirus have symptoms but don't feel comfortable going to
going to the doctor because it's going to be too expensive. Who knows how many people have died
from coronavirus, but it's not recorded, right? Like there are all sorts of things. And by the way,
you might not appear to have any symptoms from coronavirus, but there's growing evidence indicating
that even among young healthy people who never experience any symptoms, there could be blood clots,
there could be internal organ damage. This is something that's also rapidly mutating and getting
stronger. So to minimize it, especially at a time when we're starting to see the number of
death spike in relation to the coronavirus cases spiking, it's the worst possible time to minimize
this and pretend like it's a non-issue. And that's exactly what Trump is doing while also
distancing himself from actual health experts like Anthony Fauci.
And guys, one last complication and then one simple fact. There appear to be different
strains of the virus in different parts of the world.
So, and Trump trying to understand this, these complicated facts is an impossibility.
I mean, he brags that he can tell difference between a lion and an elephant in a
drawing.
Literally, that's later in the show.
And so a mind that simple, that sad, has no ability to figure out any of this though.
And that's why, can I see the graph between us and Europe?
So this gives you a sense of the enormous incompetence of the.
Donald Trump. That right there is Donald Trump's presidency. Europe cases and our cases start
exactly the same way. We both skyrocket because in the beginning there's almost nothing
you can do about it in terms of before you find out about the disease. Then Europe handles
it effectively. It goes way down. Trump clowns the hell out of the disease and it goes way
up for us instead of going down. And that's the Trump effect. So the simple number is, I know
It varies by website that you go to, but right now, the most reliable site that I use has
USS at 136,000. We lead the world in deaths. That is in arguable, and by a lot. And you saw
the chart there. So we have bungled this through and through. And Dr. Fatsch was polite in the
ways that Anna described. But in other parts of the interview, he was just, he said, look,
He said, I have a reputation as you probably have figured out of speaking truth at all times
and not sugar-coding things.
And that may be one of the reasons why I haven't been on television very much lately.
He said he hasn't talked to Trump.
This is June 2nd.
Can you imagine not talking to the top expert, medical expert you have on a pandemic?
As 130,000 people are dead for over a month for nearly six weeks, that means I don't care.
I don't care that you're all dying.
The only thing I care about is politics.
And finally, why he's Fouchy getting fed up and saying things that are a little bit harsher?
He said, look, I've gotten death threats, my family's been harassed, my wife and children.
So in Trump's America, if you actually dare speak to truth as a scientist and warn people
about something that might kill them, Trump's goons come out and threaten to kill you, your wife,
and your kids. That's why we have more spikes, more cases, and more deaths than anyone else.
Because our leader is a malicious idiot who spread this plague among us.
All right, let's take a break.
When we come back, we'll talk about whether or not anyone can expect any more stimulus,
even if there is a second round of show.
We need to talk about a relatively new show called Un-F-The Republic or UNFTR.
As a Young Turks fan, you already know that the government, the media, and corporations
are constantly peddling lies that serve the interests of the rich and powerful.
But now there's a podcast dedicated to unraveling those lies, debunking the conventional wisdom.
In each episode of Un-B-The-Republic or UNFTR, the host delves into a different historical episode or topic that's generally misunderstood or purposely obfuscated by the so-called powers that be.
Featuring in-depth research, razor-sharp commentary, and just the right amount of vulgarity, the UNFTRTR podcast takes a sledgehammer to what you thought you'd
knew about some of the nation's most sacred historical cows.
But don't just take my word for it.
The New York Times described UNFTR as consistently compelling and educational,
aiming to challenge conventional wisdom and upend the historical narratives that were taught in school.
For as the great philosopher Yoda once put it,
You must not learn what you have learned.
And that's true whether you're in Jedi training or you're uprooting and exposing all the propaganda and disinformation you've been
fed over the course of your lifetime.
So search for UNFDR in your podcast app today
and get ready to get informed, angered, and entertained
all at the same time.
Downs.
All right, back on a young church,
Jane and Anna with you guys.
Remember, aspiration is a great place to keep your money
if you were progressive. Among other wonderful things that they do, they plant 10 trees for every
person that opens up an account. It takes just a couple of minutes to do it. I did it. It's super
easy. Asperation.com slash TYT, even if you transfer just a little bit of money there, you get
the 10 trees in it, we've got a giant forest growing now. Thanks to you guys. All right,
members, Gabby Marita says, did Jen get another haircut? Because it definitely doesn't make him
look like a crazy Greek deli owner who scream greets his favorite customers, says,
Do a lot of meatballs.
So apparently that's what I looked like yesterday, Gabby.
That's what I'm hearing from you.
Cousin Vinny says the look on Anna's faces, she looked up after that first Trump soundbite
was priceless.
He said cases like 50 times in a row. He just said cases, like I'm just, I'm tired,
I'm tired. It's not funny, it's not cute, I just want him out, I want him out.
We need to get this guy out.
Anyway, keep going.
Black Diamond 115 says, as a teacher that is about to be forced to go back to work by a red county in California,
I would just like to say that schools can't handle lice.
What makes people think they could handle COVID?
They don't care.
They don't care.
They don't care about you.
They don't care about your kids.
They don't care about your lives.
I mean, it's so abundantly clear and obvious.
I'm not yelling at the viewer, by the way.
It's just like we need to stop pretending like the Trump administration is thinking about.
this as if they care, they don't care at all, at all. The red states, the red districts don't
care. Zero percent. Another series one, Melissa Sherman says, I'm a public defender in Florida,
trials are delayed till mid-September. Clients are rotting in jail being denied their right to a
speedy trial. Haven't seen coverage about this, please help spread the message.
So Melissa, I hope we help a little bit there, but God, there's a lot going wrong right now.
Now back to fun stuff on YouTube super chat as well, Maddie Ice PVD says, happy belated to Anna.
We love you and happy haircut to Jenk.
Okay.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yes, thank you.
One on Twitter, Tom Zawaki says, I think Jenks already been to happy half hour on
TYT.
No, no, not yet, brother, not yet.
And finally, Ancient Wisdom 22 just gave out 10 gifted subscriptions to community members on Twitch.
We love you for that.
for that. Appreciate it. We're lying on Twitch as well. All right, Anna, what's next?
The number of new coronavirus cases and deaths is spiking to the point where Dr. Anthony Fauci
suggests that states that are the most impacted by it should go through the second round of
shutdowns. Now, it's unclear whether some of these red states would actually follow through.
In fact, if I had to bet on it, they probably won't. But what about the states that would
likely take this very seriously and shut businesses down? More people would lose.
their jobs or be laid off or furloughed? Is Congress planning on helping in any way? Will
there be another round of stimulus? Well, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has made clear
that the Senate Republicans certainly do not want to continue on with the robust unemployment
benefits that were granted from the previous stimulus bill. In fact, he's considering
dispersing funds to people who are making $40,000 or less per year. The previous stimulus
bill set that number at $75,000. And as you guys know, I find means testing, especially
in the middle of this pandemic, highly problematic, because it relies on your taxes, the taxes
you filed in either 2018 or 2019. If you lost your job today, or if you aren't making
any income today, the government would have no way of knowing about it and you wouldn't qualify
for some of the stimulus money. And the next version, if it passes the way that Mitch McConnell
would want, many more people wouldn't qualify because it lowers the income threshold
in order for an individual to qualify. So with that said, I do want to go to the first video
featuring Steve Mnuchin. He does not like the unemployment benefits that Americans have received.
And once we come back to the video, I'll explain why.
As it relates to the enhanced unemployment, we've been very clear.
We knew there was a problem with enhanced unemployment in that certain cases people were paid more than they made in their jobs.
That was a technical fix.
We were an emergency.
We went along with that.
We're going to fix that technical fix.
We're going to make sure that people are incented to go back to jobs.
I've heard stories of where companies are trying to get people back to work and they won't come because of the enhanced unemployment.
But we'll fix that and we'll figure out an extension to it that works for companies and
works for those people who will still be unemployed.
No one has shown any data proving the fact that companies are desperate for employees
but are having difficulty finding people who are willing to work.
I haven't seen the data.
They might cite anecdotes, but anecdotes do not show a trend.
They do not show an actual problem in place.
We need to see what the data says.
And we still have tens of millions of Americans who are laid off.
So this talking point that people are lazy and they don't want to go back to work because
they're earning more in unemployment is ridiculous.
And let me just also note, I would argue it's more of a problem if there is data showing
that these companies can't get people to go back to work because $2,400 a month from
the federal government is somehow more of an incentive to stay home.
then go back to work. Wouldn't that indicate that maybe, just maybe, these corporations
and these companies, many of which got a ton of money in bailouts and stimulus, should probably
increase their wages and pay people enough so they're actually motivated to go back to work?
But by the way, I'm saying that only if, and I don't believe this is true, only if there
is data indicating and proving that people are literally refusing to go to work because
is they're earning more in unemployment?
Yeah.
So I have something to say, unfortunately, at the end of this month, I think we're going to hit
an iceberg.
So in the beginning, we knew very little about the disease, and we knew very little about how we
were going to react to it other than the Trump's president, so probably poorly.
And so we didn't know how long it was going to last.
We didn't know if we were to get a vaccine soon.
Now we, the juries come in on a lot of those things.
And so Brett, I want to show that graph of America versus Europe one more time.
And case in America never even got to a second wave.
It was a one wave and it flatlined for just a tiny amount of time.
And now it's re-spiking.
And so you see it there.
Europe is in blue, America is in red, and we are going way.
way back up, okay, to levels that the rest of the world has not seen.
So now they say they're going to give less unemployment benefits, and they're going to give
less stimulus money to real Americans.
We know I had Reverend William Mark on the show a couple of days ago.
He reemphasized the same thing, 43% of Americans are either poor or low wealth, and what
that means is that they, one metric is that they cannot survive a $400 problem in their lives.
And we're gonna have a much bigger problem than $400. And the businesses are screwed.
The small businesses are totally screwed. I just give you, I know it's an anecdote,
but I was at my dry cleaners, she's like business is down 35%. I don't know how I'm gonna
stay in business, how long is this gonna go on? You saw that chart. The answer is this gonna go on for a long
time. And the talk of vaccine, vaccine is great. I hope it arrives by the end of the year.
That seems to be the most optimistic. How many businesses are going to survive to the end of the
year? It's six months from now. And then everybody has to get it. It's going to take a long
time for people to get it after it arrives, right? And how many folks can survive on the
amount that Manuchin and McConnell are talking about now? Like, oh, no, no, we're done with
you guys. We gave most of the money to big businesses and we're not going to give you guys
anything. I hope I'm wrong, but I think a calamity is about it about to hit us at the end of the
month. And it's going to be when people realize. Yeah, you're absolutely right. You're absolutely
right. And it's incredible because these people who are multi-millionaires, someone like Steve
Mnuchin, who made a living, you know, doing these fraudulent foreclosures on people who had no business
losing their homes during the financial meltdown in 2008. He's telling you, someone who has
worked hard, who's done the right thing, he's telling you, you don't deserve help when something
that's completely out of your control, something like this pandemic happens. But then he'll
turn around and take the $500 billion that was given to the Treasury Department allocated
by Congress and just hand it out to his corporate buddies with absolutely no transparency.
There's no discussion at all when it comes to the corporate welfare that's been taking
place. And it's not just the Trump administration that's offered help to the wealthiest
people during this pandemic. Then you have the Federal Reserve coming in and loaning trillions
of dollars in incredibly low interest loans. And then you know what the banks did? They turned
around and they said, hey, you average American, are you looking to refinance to take advantage
of these lower interest rates, oh, that's cute. We're actually going to make it a little more
difficult for you to do that. We're going to have to make you go a little further with their
savings account in order to prove that you can pay this low interest loan back, just making
it so restrictive that the average American doesn't even qualify for a simple refinance.
That's what's happening, right? I mean, the redistribution of wealth in this country
has been happening for a long time, but it's not the kind of redistribution millionaires
and billionaires cry and whine about. It's actually the kind that we should be angry
about. It's the kind of wealth redistribution that takes our money, our hard earned taxpayer
money, gives us the middle finger, and distributes that money to people who don't deserve it,
didn't earn it, and have only fought hard to destroy this economic system. That's what's happening
right now. Yeah. I just can't stand these people. And I mean, this is the swampiest,
administration possible. Sorry, go ahead. No, that's okay. And while that's happening,
unfortunately, we have wild misinformation throughout the country that they're spreading. So I'm going to
read a really amazing quote from somebody watching us on Twitch. Kiki wrote in, for my husband
that is a Trump supporter whom I'm divorcing, they are trying to act like COVID is helping with
overpopulation. So sick. Disgusting. That's disgusting.
I'm excited for you. I hope you enjoy your new life because I would not want to be around someone
who thinks that way. But anyway, that's just horrible. And the fact that these people are
judging average Americans while hoarding all this wealth for themselves and their buddies
is unbelievable while all these people die, while all these people suffer. And we haven't even
hit that iceberg yet. People aren't going to be able to pay their rent. They're not going
to be able to pay their mortgages. They will not receive the help they need. And by the way,
the last round of stimulus was a little bit disastrous. People who qualified didn't even get the
money because some people in this country are so low income, jank, that they don't even have to
file federal tax returns. Those people would qualify for those stimulus checks, the $1,200
check that was given out earlier. But 12 million people still have not received that money.
12 million people who would have qualified have not received that money.
And I'm actually going to go to two tweets here.
You could tweet during this show at hashtag TYT Live.
We more often read our member quotes at tyt.com slash join to become a member.
But two great tweets here.
Lost in the social distance says correction, jank, we already hit the iceberg.
And Anna, you just mentioned the iceberg as well.
This is like if the captain of the Titanic announced, well, folks, we hit an iceberg just to show just to show and who's
boss, we're turning around and hitting it again. That's actually true. That is a good analogy.
That's what Trump is doing. It's unbelievable. And Steph B says, let me just read it to you
real quick. This is a ridiculous talking point. If someone on unemployment refused to return
to their previous job, they will lose their unemployment benefits. Employers can report them to the
state. So it's not even true what they're saying. And final point is, it's just,
so disgusting that every turn in the middle of this calamity, which they have bungled to no end,
what do they do? They blame you guys for. So they'll say, oh, wait, if they had just
going to, you know, they like their unemployment money. That's why they're not going
back to work. Then why don't we just take it from them and, and, you know, adjust that.
So they have less money while they're sick. And then that'll show them. And then they'll
have to report back to the minds. And whether they get sick or not, they'll be forced to
work. So that's the brutality of this Trump administration. Every time we cover any story about
these guys, I'm sickened to know that about 35% of this country loves them. They see all that stuff
and they celebrate the death cult. It's really grotesque.
Well, I do want to just quickly discuss where some of this money is going because, well,
the Catholic Church certainly lobbied hard to make sure that they qualified for some of this
stimulus money and they got quite a bit of it. So an Associated Press investigation has found
the Catholic Church has brought in billions of dollars in stimulus funding when as a religious
organization, they're not supposed to qualify for this type of money. But apparently according
to this investigation, they lobbied the Trump administration for an exemption in regard
to the small business loans aspect of the stimulus bill. So the Associated
Press reports that the amount that the church collected was between $1.4 billion and $3.5 billion.
The Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference, an organization of Catholic financial officers,
surveyed members and reported that about 9,000 Catholic entities receive loans.
Now, keep in mind that they are tax exempt.
Religious organizations are tax exempt, meaning that they took taxpayer money that they've
never contributed to as a religious organization. The Archdiocese, for instance, of New York
received 15 loans, 15 loans worth at least $28 million just for its top executive offices.
Its iconic St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue was approved for at least $1 million.
A loan of at least $2 million went to the diocese covering Wheeling Charleston, West Virginia,
where a church investigation revealed last year that then Bishop Michael Brandsfield embezzled funds
and made sexual advances toward young priests. Oh, really great that our, you know, hard-earned
taxpayer money is going to that kind of church when there are still people in this country
who qualified for stimulus checks, for instance, and they still haven't received them, 12 million
to be exact. Now, overall, nearly 500 loans approved to Catholic entities were
in the amount exceeding $1 million. And it's the rule that they were able to get an exemption
on is the one, it's referred to as the affliction rule. And it has to do with the small business
loans. You're not supposed to qualify for them if you have employees above 500. And the Catholic
Church certainly does. And on top of that, they're not supposed to be funded by the government
in any way because it's a religious organization, but there was an exemption in regard to that
as well. So a couple of issues here. First is the exemption. Stop. Do you know how fast you were
going? I'm going to have to write you a ticket to my new movie, The Naked Gun. Liam Nissan.
Buy your tickets now. I got a free chili dog. Chilly dog, not included. The Naked God. Tickets on sale
now. August 1st. And how did they get it? They lobbied for it. Now, here are the comical numbers.
and shows you why bribery in America is the best investment you could make.
So the Catholic Church, it appears based on the AP's reporting, spent about $50,000 lobbying politicians.
In return, it looks like they got $1.4 to $3.5 billion.
Who would be enough of a sucker not to do that?
So if somebody said to you, somehow muster up $50,000, that's a lot of money, right?
I mean, I mean, okay, all right, fine, and give it to a politician, just bribe them.
And in return, he'll give you $3.5 billion.
Everybody would do that.
Of course, of course, and everybody is doing that.
And so the Catholic Church looks at corporations that do it every day, and they go, what are we, suckers?
Let's bribe them and get our money.
And they did.
So they needed the exemption to basically break these rules so that they,
get the money, even though they have way over 500 employees, they got the exception.
And so, and now look, small business part of this loan is what's going now to nonprofits.
And that's a really interesting decision the government made.
But I think that it's, you know, it's certainly a justifiable decision.
It's a debatable one, but a justifiable one.
Now we reported earlier in the week, some horrible nonprofits are getting it like Americans
for tax reform.
I fight for lower taxes for billionaires, an I and Rand Institute.
And now religious organizations are getting it.
And that's problematic because we're supposed to separate church and religion.
Public money, our money is not supposed to go to religions that we don't necessarily believe
in.
And by the way, if you're a Christian or a Catholic going, so what, man, I love that the Catholic
church got the money, I love it.
Remember, theoretically, mosques can get it too.
So you don't like Sharia law and Muslims.
So is the government giving money to Muslims?
Are you happy with that?
Do you want billions of dollars to go to Muslim groups?
We should be fair, obviously.
I know that there's a lot of right-wing Christians in this country who don't think we should
be fair.
And if they found out a dollar of their money went to a mosque, their heads are going to blow
up.
And so that's the situation here.
And whatever we do, we should apply evenly to all these people.
And it's not to say, look, the Catholic Church and the AP focuses on this almost too much.
has had these horrible crimes that we've talked about endlessly and no, I don't want any of my
taxpayer pay or money going to it. At the same time, they also helped the poor, the needy,
et cetera. Let's be fair across the board about it. But that doesn't mean that taxpayer dollars
should go to religious institutions. Right. I think the AP chose to focus on the predatory behavior
that happened in a lot of these churches, Catholic churches, because a lot of them have massive
legal settlements to deal with. So they didn't overtly report it this way. But the sense that I got
by reading the full report was that it could be that these churches were cash strapped as a result
of those lawsuits, as a result of that money that they owed. And some of this stimulus money
could be helping them get out of that hole. And I think that's a legitimate thing to be concerned
about, especially when you look at when the majority of these loans were approved, they were
approved in the first two weeks of the stimulus. And as you can remember, Jank, in the first two weeks
of the stimulus, the money for the small business loans had already run out. So you kind of see that
they were in front of the line when it came to getting approved for billions of dollars.
In the meantime, actual small businesses were struggling to get approved. We're struggling to get
through the system. And, you know, it's just these are people who have done their due diligence.
They've paid their taxes. And it is really frustrating to see how, again, especially in the
middle of a pandemic, people who do the lobbying, people who do the legalized bribery,
always get to jump ahead of the line. They always get what they want. They always get a massive
return on their investment.
All right, we have. Oh, sorry. Also, Trump said in a meeting with Catholic leaders, I want
you guys to vote for me. So I'm going to get your money. You know, remember what they always
said about Obama and Democrats? Oh, they just want to do handouts so that people will vote for
them. Trump just says it. He's like, yeah, I'll get you money if you vote for me. He doesn't
know that he's not supposed to say the quiet parts out loud. And finally, big business got
$500 million. And unlike the churches, unlike the nonprofit groups, and unlike the small
businesses, there is no scrutiny for the money they got. And they got the most amount of money
that Congress kept that secret because big businesses are the ones that bribe them the most.
So they wanted to be able to funnel the most amount of money to the people who needed it
the least because they take the most amount of bribes from them. So that's how this sick government
works. All right. When we come back from the break, we'll discuss some fighting over TikTok.

lot. Lastly, on our members, glowing child says happening now, a group of protesters in
Detroit have gathered near the scene of an officer involved shooting. So we'll try to keep track
of that. Unfortunately, it happens far too often. This is a really important one.
Jenks, Instagram, Coffefe writes in, to be fair, when I was laid off, I made more money than
when I'm working. As soon as they call me back, I jumped at the chance to work. My family's
healthcare is connected to this job. If I said no to going back, I'm ineligible.
for unemployment. These guys are just driven by money, get it out. Okay, so there's such
great points. And I'll end on a fun one. Only mostly dad writes in Wendy's doing a great
job of keeping Jenks' hair up to Bundesliga standards. That's the German soccer league.
Wendy's my wife.
We got to ask my dad about that because he's Bundesliga fan number one. But I don't know because
Mikitadian moved to a different team, I think. And you know, I have never.
heard that like an Armenian name more than Mikitalian because of my dad's obsession with
that player.
But anyway.
It's really funny.
I'll say one last quick thing about it.
There's a bunch church players in the Bundesliga and now in the UK and other parts of Europe
too.
And now a really good one is named Jank.
So sometimes the word the name Jank will trend on Twitter because I said something and he scored a goal.
So it's really funny.
All right, Anna, let's keep it going.
All right.
The Trump administration is having a tough time with TikTok and the TikTok users.
First, they trolled Trump during his Tulsa rally where they reserved a bunch of tickets and, of course, never showed up.
And now they're flocking to the Trump 2020 Apple app and leaving negative reviews.
Now, why would they do that?
Was there anything that could have led to their decision to target his app?
Well, it could have something to do with the fact that the Trump administration itself wants to get rid of TikTok and possibly ban it in the United States.
In fact, here's Mike Pompeo talking about it with Laura Ingram.
With respect to Chinese apps on people's cell phones, I can assure you the United States will get this one right too, Laura.
I don't want to get on, I don't want to get in front of the president, but it's something we're looking at.
Would you recommend that people download that up on their phones tonight, tomorrow, anytime currently?
Only if you want your private information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.
No, I wouldn't want that. I mean, I only want my private information in the hands of multinational
corporations and the U.S. government and law enforcement agencies. You know, that makes me feel a lot
better, a lot better. Now, the CEO for TikTok is an American. He claims that the private
information of its users has never been given to the Chinese government. I don't believe
anyone. I don't trust anyone. We've heard the same lies when it comes to other social media
apps. So just know that anything that you share with a private company is going to be used
by that private company. So you should be suspicious, you should be skeptical, protect yourself,
protect all of your private information. With that said though, TikTok users love TikTok,
and they didn't love that interview with Pompeo. They didn't love the Trump administration targeting
TikTok specifically. And so one of the more popular TikTok users, Yori Black, actually came up with the
idea of targeting Trump's app. Take a look. Now, we all have heard by now that the Trump administration
actually does plan on completely banning TikTok from America. But I got a plan. Now, I know everybody's
kind of freaking out right now, because if they do for whatever reason decide to ban it, then there's
not really much that we can do besides switch to other platforms. But Gen Z don't go down without a fight.
So with that being said, let's go to war.
All right, now step one, we did this before, but I think it's how we do it again.
All right, now I need you to open up your app store and go to the official Donald Trump app.
Step two, I need you to go to the section where you actually give a review.
Step three, I need you to leave the worst possible review that you can think of.
I remember being that happy and enthusiastic before like my soul died.
But, you know, that was his call to action.
And the whole idea behind it is, you know,
If you have enough negative reviews, maybe the Apple store will take the app down.
But that's unfortunately not how it works.
It's not going to impact Donald Trump's election app or campaign app, I should say, in that way.
But if you do want to know what the reviews look like so far, I did get a screen grab and it
does include one of the reviews.
So right now, Trump is at 1.2 out of 5 stars for his app.
But to be fair, he's used to low approval ratings.
So it's not like, you know, this is something he isn't prepared for.
And, you know, you can read that review right there where the person says, I'm not even part
of the whole Gen Z thing trying to remove the app.
I seriously got the app because I wanted to see what Donald Trump's plans were for the
election on all that kind of stuff.
But unfortunately, the app kept making my cell phone crash.
So that's actually a genuine, sincere, one-star review.
But yeah, it's pretty funny.
No, I love the way that they're fighting back.
You know, we try to do this systematically.
And these kids just came up and it was like in like a world wind.
And they were like, hmm, why would just go step one, step two, step three, bam, you're
screwed.
Keep it going brothers and sisters, I love it, I love it.
So that's a great way to fight back.
And I love that they're politically active.
And just like I told you, both millennials and Gen Z, massively.
Progressive.
Yeah.
Well, look, it's not just the Trump administration that's trying to get rid of TikTok and possibly
ban it in the United States.
You have right-wing politicians like Matt Gates, who recently tweeted about how people in the
U.S. should delete the app.
It shouldn't exist in the United States and Patriots should delete it.
And so TikTok users who are also on Twitter started trolling him and Jim Jordan.
And so this is my favorite and also Brett's favorite example.
Matt Gates is taking this adoption thing too far.
First he adopts Nestor 19, now some 56 year old guy named Jim.
There is something really weird about that picture.
And I'm not just talking about Matt Gates' suit.
Matt Gates is listed as 5-7.
Jim Jordan is listed as 6 feet.
What kind of weird trick photography is this?
I thought that was Dave Rubin.
Like how much does Matt Gates look like Dave Rubin in that picture?
Oh, I know you mentioned Jordan.
Yeah, yeah, no, he looks like he's struggling there.
The hair, that shirt, like everything's just kind of a mess.
Yeah.
But anyway.
And then there was a lot of tweets about how Matt Geese looks like he's auditioning for Godfather's
father seven. And Jim Jordan looks like he might be a guy who was a former wrestling coach
who covered up for perverts who were molesting kids. Oh, right, he did.
You know, it does blow my mind. I mean, when you consider the fact that like Devin Nunes
was implicated in the whole impeachment investigation because of the communications that he had with
Ukrainian officials and he didn't disclose that during the investigation.
You have these insane and disgusting accusations against Jim Jordan when it comes to the accusers
of that molestation and how he helped to cover up for that.
And there's still, I mean, nothing, nothing, not a big deal.
I mean, there's a big discussion and debate about cancel culture in this country.
And there's many critiques, we don't have time to get into it all now.
But I will say that the people deserving of getting canceled, very rarely get canceled.
The Jim Jordans of the world, not getting canceled, constantly get supported by the Republican
constituents.
It's amazing.
Well, I'll say one last thing about that.
I remember when there were rumors that Dennis Hastert had molested kids as a wrestling coach,
he was a former leader of the Republicans in the House, turns out, he did, he got convicted.
And that's only after he stepped down from power though.
There was Larry Craig, rumors that he was with men in bathrooms all over Washington, D.C.
It turns out that was true while he was passing anti-gay legislation.
There were rumors that Republican Mark Foley was trying to sleep with interns, young boys.
That turned out to be true.
So now they're like, oh, Jim Jordan, what are the chances that he covered up for child
molester while he was a wrestling coach?
Well, the chance there's sky high, there's five witnesses that say so.
So that's the reality.
Okay, and he's a Republican.
Okay, anyways, giant post game.
You can't miss it.
We got Donald Trump's dementia.
That's an amazing story.
And the last story is best.
