Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to The Young Turks, the online news show. Make sure to follow and rate our show with not one, not two, not three, not four, but five stars. You're awesome. Thank you. No one has paid the price like you have paid the price. I'm a double. And you guys are in for a solo show today. Jank Uger will be out today and tomorrow. But he will be returning on Thursday.
Starting point is 00:01:05 But we've got a lot of great stories to share with. I mean, when I say great, I don't mean that it's good news, of course. But of course, you're going to get details, deep dives, and perspectives that you are unlikely to hear in the legacy media, corporate media, or overall mass media in the United States. Luckily, there are independent sources that are cutting through the BS and the narratives. And luckily, you're going to get a lot of that on the show today. We're going to start off with a deep dive on Lebanon. There have been some updates in regard to direct negotiations between Israel and. the Lebanese government, which I am going to make the case happen to be incredibly irrelevant and will not lead to an end to Israel's brutality and mass slaughter that's going on in Lebanon as we speak. Later, we'll also talk about the reality of Trump's so-called blockade on the Strait of Hormuz. Like, what is the reality behind that? I'm going to give you the details. And then later in the show, I really want to do a deep dive into something that I don't think I've noticed with many other groups of people before, right? Like this cope, peak cope that I see
Starting point is 00:02:16 going on with, you know, supporters of Israel, Zionists, they're willing to blame anyone and anything other than Israel's behavior for why Israel is losing support. And so we'll dig deep into that. We'll feature a video of a dude that I've seen on the internet, but I didn't really know who he was until today when I actually did a little bit of digging to find out. But he goes after Megan Kelly and her change of heart when it comes to supporting Israel. But without further ado, just want to encourage you to like and share the stream if you're watching us live. It helps to spread TYT to people who might not know about our program. It's a free and easy way to support the show. You can also support the show by becoming a member by going to tyt.com
Starting point is 00:02:56 slash join or just hit that join button if you're watching us on YouTube. The great thing about becoming a member is not only do you get the members only bonus episodes, which we will be having it today after the main show, but you help to keep us independent from advertisers or corporate influence that would maybe try to censor us and rein in some of our commentary, which I've got no interest in. So thank you to our members. Thank you for your support. All right. Let's get into it. Let's talk about Lebanon. Southern Lebanon is being cut off from the rest of the country with at least seven bridges destroyed by Israeli missiles in the past few days.
Starting point is 00:03:38 This is what's left of the main bridge that connected the city of Tyre over there with the rest of Lebanon. And the Israelis have said they plan on seizing all territory south of this, the Latani River. Israel has been brutalizing the Lebanese people, particularly in southern Lebanon, where they have displaced 1.2 million people. and let the Lebanese people know that they will not be returning because Israel will be annexing that land. Now, the bombings continue, the targeting of hospitals, emergency workers, and civilians continues. In other words, Lebanon is getting the Gaza treatment. But some might be fooled into thinking that there could be a little ray of hope today as Lebanon's president, Joseph Aoun, has entered direct talks with Israel today.
Starting point is 00:04:37 And apparently he hopes that these meetings will result in actual peace. So his country's people stop suffering. He says the following. I hope that the meeting in Washington will mark the beginning of the end of the suffering of the Lebanese people in general. And those in the south in particular, stability will not return to the south if Israel continues to occupy its lands. He further tells the press that the only solution lies in the Lebanese army redeploying up to the internationally recognized border of Lebanon. And so being solely responsible for the security of the area and the safety of its residents without the partnership of any other party. So what he's referring to there is the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon, an area of Lebanon about 10 to 15 percent.
Starting point is 00:05:33 that the Israelis intend to annex. Now, they claim that they're doing so in search or in pursuit, I should say, of a security buffer. But if you pay attention to Israeli media, you will see all sorts of Israeli figures, all sorts of extremists within the Knesset, who are salivating at the opportunity of settling that land. So how exactly would that be a security buffer? Now, the other thing that's important to keep in mind is that these direct talks between the Lebanese government and the Israelis will resort in no progress. And the reason why I say that is because what Israel has done to justify their invasion of Lebanon is they've pointed to Hezbollah. The Lebanese government is not Hezbollah. Hezbollah is an established political party in Lebanon. And they also
Starting point is 00:06:23 serve as a militia that resists Israeli occupation and invasion in southern Lebanon. And so as you can imagine, Israel is not a fan of Hezbollah. Israel would like to expand its borders and do so unchallenged. Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran, of course, is a massive challenge to the Israelis. And so they're using this notion of disarming Hezbollah as their excuse. It's very similar to the narratives that we heard from the Israelis in regard to Gaza. Oh, we have to defeat Hamas. This is a war between barbarism and civilization, as Netanyahu said, over and over again. Now, did they actually defeat Hamas? Of course not. All we saw the Israelis do is go in, slaughter a ton of people, level Gaza, and now they're occupying about 34% of Gaza as we speak.
Starting point is 00:07:14 So they have pushed more Palestinians into an even tinier strip of land thanks to, again, this expansionist project. Now, let's get back to Lebanon because I do want to explain this in greater detail. As I mentioned, Israel is using this notion of disarming Hezbollah to justify their invasion and land grab operation in southern Lebanon. But the Lebanese army was basically pressured by the Israelis to either disarm Hezbollah. And if you can't do it yourselves, we're going to do it for you, right? That was the argument made. So if you guys can remember, prior to the March 2nd Israeli invasion into Lebanon, there had been a ceasefire that Israel had violated thousands of times. But nonetheless, there was a ceasefire, right? Now, during that ceasefire, there were some messages exchanged between the Israelis and the Lebanese government. And the Israelis basically told the Lebanese government, we need you to disarm Hezbollah. And again, if you're unable to do it, we're going to reinvade. Now, during this time, during the ceasefire, again, Israel is still bombing Lebanon. They rained in a little bit, but they're still terrorizing that poor country.
Starting point is 00:08:26 Okay. But the Lebanese army is insanely weak, insanely weak. So they don't even have the capacity to disarm Hezbollah. On top of that, the Lebanese government is fully aware of the fact that if they were to attempt to disarm Hezbollah, not only would that lead to members of the Lebanese army getting killed, but on top of that, it could spark a very serious civil war. You've got to keep in mind, Lebanon is kind of unique in the region in that you have a sizable population of Sunni Muslims in Lebanon, a sizable population of Shia Muslims in Lebanon.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Now, Shia Muslims are, you know, what the Iranians practice. Like that's the form of Islam that they believe in, and so does Hezbollah. You also have a sizable Christian population in Lebanon as well. And so attempting to disarm Hezbollah could lead to unrest, destabilization of Lebanon. It could lead to a full-blown civil war. And guess what? The Israelis know that. Take a look.
Starting point is 00:09:33 Alon, it's niris that we're giving up medinae, to give him, militia, whether it's not wronged to fight with Hezbollah. It's only a sheafed from the first. Not sure, now, that's a matter of a situation, nooky, has to the power. So there are more two itutim, we're going to tell you about someone that is a partner of ours that our audience loves. If you know me, I'm always out of time.

I recently tried jerk chicken rasta pasta in my last order. Why did I pick that one? Because the name sounded fun. And it turned out it was delicious. That sounds fun.

Starting point is 00:11:12 You got to pay attention to what's being said in Israel. media because that is where you will get the truth for audio listeners who are like, I don't understand Hebrew, what the hell was said in that video. Basically, the host of the program said, it appears that we are sparking or we're attempting to spark a civil war in Lebanon, but maybe that wouldn't be so bad for us. You see, with the Israelis, they're perfectly happy to destabilize countries. They don't necessarily need a full-blown regime change. They just need a failed state, just like we have in Libya, just like we have in Syria.
Starting point is 00:11:47 and just as Israel would like to see in Iran and clearly in Lebanon as well. So you tell me which country in the region is the biggest obstacle to peace? So it's not like the Israelis don't know what they're doing here. They know exactly what they're doing. They would like to see a civil war. And they also know that they're kind of dangling this poison pill as the ultimatum toward the Lebanese government, you know, the poison pill of disarming Hezbollah in order to prevent Israeli invasion. Well, the army wasn't able to disarm Hezbollah. And Israel did invade Lebanon on March 2nd.
Starting point is 00:12:30 And, well, things haven't really been going so well for the Israelis. That doesn't mean that they haven't caused a lot of damage to southern Lebanon especially. It doesn't mean that they haven't killed a ton of civilians, which I'm going to get into a little later. But I first want to actually talk a little bit about what, well, what the Israelis have been experiencing. Now, what Israel really wants is land. In fact, they've been announcing that over and over again. So maybe, just maybe it's time to believe them. Take a look. While Israel has said that it will negotiate directly with the Lebanese government for the first time, Israel's defense minister previously stated that the Israeli military will occupy and control areas south of the Latani River, even after
Starting point is 00:13:19 fighting ends. If Israel does indeed occupy large parts of southern Lebanon, then questions remain as to what will happen to more than a million displaced Lebanese. So Israel invades southern Lebanon just a few days after the United States launches its war against Iran. And, you know, the Israelis claimed that they had a chance to invade Lebanon specifically to disarm Hezbollah because the Lebanese government and army can't. That's their excuse. However, Hezbollah has proven to be a formidable opponent. You wouldn't think so, right? Everything we heard from the Israelis after previous strikes on Lebanon indicated that they were certain that they had defeated Hezbollah. Hezbollah had been so weakened, it was no longer a threat to the Israelis in the northern
Starting point is 00:14:13 part of Israel. In fact, there were some individuals who were thinking, hey, maybe it's a good idea for us to evacuate as hostilities continue with the Israelis and Hezbollah, but the IDF chose not to evacuate certain parts of northern Israel, which was really interesting. because that signaled to people that the Israelis, the IDF generally thought that they had weakened Hezbollah so much that it was no longer a threat. And then they invade southern Lebanon under this premise of we need to disarm Hezbollah. They're a huge threat. Okay, fine. So what's been happening? Have the Israelis made any progress in defeating Hezbollah? Well, Military Watch Magazine reported that the Israeli army takes heaviest tank losses at over 40 years as Hezbollah ambushes destroyed 21 Markovas in one day. In fact, that story goes into detail about various ambushes, attacks, missile strikes that have been carried out by Hezbollah.
Starting point is 00:15:10 And the IDF has reportedly lost around 100 Marcava tanks in their border expansion operation since March 2nd. Other consequences of engagements have included the firing of over 60 rockets at targets in the Galilee region that day. Complementing much longer range strikes against Israeli targets launched by Hezbollah's close strategic partner, Iran. And there have been some IDF deaths as a result. I'll give you an example of what was reported by the Times of Israel just today. IDF soldier killed as vehicle crashes in South Lebanon, 10 hurt in clash with Hezbollah. There was a gunfight with members of Hezbollah. So in total, so far, since March 2nd, 13 IDF soldiers have been killed in Lebanon as a result of this effort to expand Israel's borders. Let's be very clear about that under the false pretense of disarming Hezbollah.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Now, Hezbollah, of course, is resisting these efforts because they don't want to see 10 to 15 percent of Lebanon annexed. by the Israelis. But the Israelis, you got to give them credit, man. They sure are persistent. Because the whole existence of Hezbollah has to do with the fact that it seems every decade, Israel has attempted to invade Lebanon and annex land. 1982 is when Hezbollah formed following an Israeli invasion. And so this hasn't been an easy fight for the Israelis. And to be honest with you, I'm glad it's not an easy fight for the Israelis. Israel thinks, that all of their neighbors hate them because what, they're jealous of you? Or could it be that you keep trying to expand your borders? Could it be that you have destabilized multiple countries
Starting point is 00:16:59 in order to ensure that you have complete dominance over the region? Maybe that's the reason. And when you try to displace people from their homes, when you wipe out entire families, don't be surprised when resistance groups pop up, a group like Hezbollah comes along and fights you as you try to annex the southern part of a country that you have no business taking. That's what's happening right now. But I want to be very clear about something else because the war crimes in Lebanon are certainly real. And the damage being done by the IDF, by the Israeli government is so unbearably cruel, heartless, inhumane, and no one's stopping it. No one is stopping it, including, by the way,
Starting point is 00:17:45 the president of Lebanon, who has been incredibly meek in the face of Israeli aggression. So even though Israel is losing its war against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, much of their failure in basically defeating Hamas can be seen in how they're handling Hezbollah. But I want to talk a little bit about that damage. Take a look at this video and then I'll fill in some blanks. The Gaza war, which the world has watched horror, and a UN commission has described as genocide, seems to have become doctrine for Israel. And now it seems they want to apply that doctrine in Lebanon. The Dahl, you see as much Hanyon.
Starting point is 00:18:39 Raffa, Baitanun, Israel reduced both cities to heaps of rubble, and along the way killed more than 72,000 people, many of whom were women and children. In Lebanon, the number of people killed by Israeli bombings grows by the day. And Israeli attacks on medical infrastructure have targeted hospitals and killed dozens of health care workers, including a 16-year-old volunteer. I was looking at some Earth Day and climate change designs on Shop TYT and really wanted to order a few. shirts. I was ready to check out, but then I realized I left my wall in another room. So for audio listeners, Israel Katz, who's basically Israel's defense minister, said, yeah, we're going to use the Rafa model in Lebanon. They just say it, guys. They just say it. They just say it.
Starting point is 00:20:41 So like, for those who think I'm a rabid anti-Semite, because I simply repeat what the Israeli officials say, what do you want for me? Do you want me to pretend like they're not saying it? Because they're saying it out loud. And you know what? I choose to believe them. Why don't you believe them?
Starting point is 00:20:58 Why are you pretending like Israel cats didn't just say, we are going to do to South Lebanon what we did to the Palestinians in Gaza, what we did to the Palestinians in Rafa. They're leveling homes. They're displacing literally over a million Lebanese people. When is enough enough? Can someone please explain that to me? When is enough enough?
Starting point is 00:21:22 How long did it take for the international community to try to fight the Nazi regime? I want to know. And how long is it going to take for the international community to finally fight back against this brutality? I don't care what anyone calls me. What's happening is wrong. should be called out. So let's talk about the death toll here. Let's take a look. Courtney Bonneau, one of the independent journalists who risks her life every day to give us the facts. She reports on the
Starting point is 00:21:48 ground. She shared the latest death toll figures. So as you can see, the Lebanese Ministry of Health indicates that 2,124 people have been killed and 6,921 wounded in Israeli attacks since March 2nd, Since March 2nd, guys. A little over a month. The Gaza model is being implemented here in Lebanon. Next, it could be your country. Don't think you're safe from the violence of the ruling class. I think that's an important warning to keep in mind.
Starting point is 00:22:23 But I want to get into the numbers a little more here because 88 medical workers have been killed. You think that's an accident? That's no accident. Another, by the way, 88 medical workers have been killed since March 2nd. I want to be clear about that. Another 206 have been wounded, meaning medical workers. There have been 160 attacks on emergency workers, EMS workers, 102 attacks on emergency vehicles, ambulances, 25 attacks on medical centers, and six hospitals have been shuttered.
Starting point is 00:23:00 Do you think that's an accident? Southern Lebanon already looks a lot like Gaza as well. Take a look. The Gaza war, which the world has watched horror, and a UN commission has described as genocide, seems to have become doctrine for Israel. And now it seems they want to apply that doctrine in Lebanon. Israel Beitaine, Israel reduced both cities to heaps of rubble, and along the way killed more than 72,000 people, many of whom were women and children. In Lebanon, the number of people killed by Israeli bombings grows by the day. And Israeli attacks on medical infrastructure have targeted hospitals and killed dozens of health care workers, including a 16-year-old volunteer. I think it was important for you to see that video twice. I really do. Because I'm sick of the excuses.
Starting point is 00:24:12 I'm sick of seeing this brutality and genocidal behavior in multiple countries now carried out by the same government, the same military. Yet all of the attention is on made up anti-Semitism, imaginary anti-Semitism uttered by people who are clearly critics of the genocidal regime in Israel. And finally, here's Netanyahu's mouthpiece. Her name is Shosh Bedrosian, an Armenian last name. Unfortunately, she should change it. She was a local news reporter in New York City just a few years ago. Now suddenly she's working for Benjamin Netanyahu as his spokesperson, fascinating. Let's take a look at how she refers to Lebanese villages that are currently being demolished by the Israelis as we speak.
Starting point is 00:25:04 Prime Minister Netanyahu visited our heroic soldiers in southern Lebanon just yesterday with the security. within the security zone. Our forces are pushing Hezbollah away from the border and dealing with the terrorist villages that are adjacent to us on our northern border, while also defending our border at all times. Terrorist villages. And remember, we're talking about a country that has a sizable population of Christians who are also getting killed. So is this really about Islamic terrorism? Or is this about painting those who resist Israel's aggression and attempts at stealing land as terrorists while Israel actually carries out the terrorism. You know, questions that our media would never want you to ponder, but maybe take some time to think about it.
Starting point is 00:25:57 Anyway, we got to take a break. When we come back, we'll give you an update on the Strait of Hormuz and how much Trump continues to embarrass the American people. We'll be right back. What's up, everyone? Welcome back to, well, the show of the social break. Let's start with our TYT members. We've got Be able to Beirst. who says, Anna, please do a story on my state of Indiana giving Israel $15 million. It was just announced yesterday. I believe it's something to do with tech companies. Yeah, you know, I don't know if it has to do with tech companies, but one thing I do know is that aside from our federal government, you know, just rolling out the big bucks on behalf of Israel, giving Israel a ton of money going into further national debt in order to fund Israel's wars on a state and local level. Israel also gets money, right? So the state of California has given money to Israel, so I'm not surprised by this at all.
Starting point is 00:27:33 But yes, I will definitely look into it. And for those who aren't upset about this, how are you not upset? How are your resources being used on this garbage, on genocide, on destabilizing countries, brutalizing people, killing innocent civilians, including women and children and elderly people? You're okay with your resources going to that? Ben Jamin says, sadly, the world leaders prioritized their own economies and people, over saving the Jews back in the war, history repeats. All right, let's go to our YouTube members when we come back from the break.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Welcome back to the show, everyone. I'm Anna Casperian. You're watching TYT. And I just want to take a brief moment to tell you about a wonderful phone company that'll save you money when it comes to cell service. Noble mobile gives you unlimited talk, text, and data on the team. mobile 5G network, and they actually pay you back for the data you don't use. And for your first month, you'll only pay $10. This is the smarter phone plan, and you can make the switch today by going to t.yt.com slash switch. That's tyt.com slash switch. All right, I want to read from our TYT members, our YouTube members, particularly. We've got six Jason, six Mel Six, who says Netanyahu is a threat to humanity, but he's the tip of the iceberg of a very sick and deeply embedded ideology. And it's really important to identify that it's an ideology that wishes to play puppet master with the world for their pleasure.
Starting point is 00:29:33 It's not even for their pleasure. It's for their greed is for their expansionist policy. They want more land. More land means you have control of, I mean, look, Israel is not a resource-rich piece of land. But the Middle East is resource rich, that's for sure. They would like to have dominance over the Middle East. That is their goal, which is why they're already drawing up the narrative to get us to go to war with freaking Turkey.
Starting point is 00:30:00 So I'll go into more detail on Turkey and that relationship between the United States and Israel on tomorrow's show. But I don't think it's just that they're sadistic people. I mean, sure, those people exist. But I think it's due to greed more than anything else. We've got silver XD1GE who says Eric Swalwell took over a million of Zionist blood money. Well, Eric Swalwell is done. Okay, put a fork in him.
Starting point is 00:30:30 He just resigned from Congress over some sort of sex scandal, which, look, he hasn't been to court. And so these are allegations. I have to be responsible in what I say. However, I will say this. There seems to be a problem. maybe a perverse incentive structure with Congress, with our government that seems to attract some pretty unsavory and questionable and easy to blackmail individuals. Let's just put it that way. And I would just like those people to F off. Okay? F off. Go find another job. Because you are
Starting point is 00:31:06 risking the future of this country by seeking a position of power knowing how easy it is to blackmail your ass. Anyway, all right, let's get to the news. We've got more to do, including an update on the Strait of Hormuz. So what is going on with the Strait? So President Donald Trump announced that he would be implementing a blockade, I guess a double blockade of the Strait of Hormuz following the failed negotiations that took place between J.D. Vance, Steve Whitkoff, Jared Kushner, and the Iranians over this past weekend. Now, Supposedly, this blockade of the Hormuz Strait has officially gone into effect or has it. And we should really ask whether it's even possible given the military assets that have been accumulated in the region.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Because based on those military assets, we don't have the capability to take control of the Strait of Hormuz, which means we're not really able to block it. And blocking it would have some pretty serious repercussions for the global. economy, which is why Saudi Arabia literally begged the Trump administration to avoid blocking the Strait of Hormuz. So we'll get into that detail in just a minute, but here's what you need to know first. On Sunday, Trump announced this blockade in this lengthy truth social post. For those of you who might have been on vacation, weren't paying attention to the story.
Starting point is 00:32:34 Let me just refresh your memory or let you know what he said. He said that the blockade will begin shortly. Other countries will be involved with this blockade, which, by the way, wasn't true. no other country agreed to take part in this blockade. Okay, our NATO allies did not take part in this. Everyone thinks that we're crazy because our president is incompetent and is having public temper tantrums on a regular basis after being manipulated into starting a war that we Americans cannot win.
Starting point is 00:33:06 That's the reality of the situation. All on behalf of Israel because they desperately want Iran to become a failed state or a accomplish regime change by installing a puppet like the former Shah's son, Halevi, total embarrassment, who by the way recently said that he never called for military action against Iran. Anyway, all right, so the British Prime Minister, Kierre Starmer, responded to calls to engage in this blockade with the United States by saying, we're not supporting the blockade. My decision has been very clearly what, that whatever the pressure, and there's been some considerable pressure, we're not getting dragged
Starting point is 00:33:48 into the war. In fact, yesterday, the French prime minister, Emmanuel Macron, announced plans to entirely sidestep the United States and maybe look for other means of diplomacy to maybe get around the problems that our government unfortunately started. He says that as regards to the Strait of Hormuz in the coming days, together with the United Kingdom, we will organize a conference with those countries prepared to contribute alongside us to a peaceful, multinational mission aimed at restoring freedom of navigation in the strait. This strictly defensive mission, separate from the warring parties to the conflict, is intended to be deployed as soon as circumstances permit. Now, unclear what that would look like. So we'll follow this thread and see
Starting point is 00:34:39 where it lands, but at least for now, the U.S. plans to block the Strait of Hormuz. It would have to happen unilaterally with the United States and only the United States involved. But this morning, we got some really interesting disinformation from U.S. Central Command. Here's what they said. During the first 24 hours, no ships made it past the U.S. blockade, and six merchant vessels complied with direction from U.S. forces to turn around and reenter. in Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman. But here's the thing. There's tracking data available to everyone.
Starting point is 00:35:19 It's public information, and it suggests otherwise. Here's what it suggests. Some of the vessels that pass through the straight on Monday, both before and after the 10 a.m. Eastern deadline, had departed from Iran, were carrying Iranian products, or were under U.S. government sanctions, according to the trade analysis firm Kepler. In other words, ships be splish-splashing through the Strait of Hormuz.
Starting point is 00:35:49 That be happening. So what kind of blockade is this? By the way, I want to be clear, doing a double blockade of the Strait of Hormuz solves nothing. It literally solves nothing. In fact, it could make the matter a lot worse because it doesn't take into consideration how the Iranian-backed Houthis will respond to it. And that's when the Saudis come in.
Starting point is 00:36:13 But hold on. Two ships that reportedly passed through the strait, the Christiana and the Elpice, appear to have left from Iranian ports. Okay, for now it's unknown how or why they were able to slip through the blockade. The Elpice was in transit around the time the blockade went into effect. it could be the case that they were allowed to travel the straight for that reason. It could be, or it could be that Trump was bluffing. He didn't have the capacity to do a double blockade of these or move straight. And instead decided to play this ridiculous game of rhetoric and chicken
Starting point is 00:36:50 to see if the Iranians will cave, but the Iranians aren't stupid. So Arab officials who spoke to the Wall Street Journal claimed that Saudi Arabia is actually pushing to squash the idea of the United States implementing a blockade on ships transiting through the Strait of Hormuz. Take a quick look at that. Oh, I'm sorry about that. Okay, I'm supposed to talk. This is not a video. My bad. That's hilarious. Okay, I'm sorry, guys. So Saudi Arabia is worried that the Houthis could actually shut down the Bob al-Mandeb Strait, which you can see here. That's what we're looking at on the screen. The Wall Street Journal reports that Saudi Arabia has been able to basically compensate for the Strait of Hormuz being blocked by shipping barrels of oil through the Bob al-Mandeb straight, right?
Starting point is 00:37:48 So that's what you're seeing on the screen right now. Now, here's the problem, though. The Houthis have threatened to close access to it if the United States decides that they're going to retaliate against Iran by doing a double block of the Strait of Hormuz. And it turns out that, well, the Saudis don't want that because it would destroy them. It would completely destroy really the one and only way the Saudis make money. So that's why the Saudis who, by the way, urged Trump to enter this war stupidly, are now urging him to avoid doing this blockade.
Starting point is 00:38:29 So what happens next? Well, President Donald Trump is signaling that he wants more negotiations with Iran. But it goes without saying that by now you should take his remarks at face value. So here's what the New York Post is reporting. In an initial phone interview, Trump had claimed that discussions were happening, but, you know, a little bit slow before indicating that a second round of direct negotiations to end the seven-week war would likely happen somewhere in Europe. About half an hour later, Trump called back with an update.
Starting point is 00:39:01 you should stay there really because something could be happening over the next two days. And we're more inclined to go there, he said, of Islamabad. So Islamabad is where, you know, the U.S. and Iran held talks just this past weekend with the Pakistanis mediating. We'll see what happens. But honestly, I think that what we've seen with Trump, his, you know, threats about the Strait of Hormuz and all of that, it's just bluster. he's bluffing. And I don't know what he thinks he's accomplishing by doing that because no one trusts him. You know, the American people don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth. At this moment, what's even worse is that the Iranians don't trust him at all.
Starting point is 00:39:44 So how are you supposed to engage in negotiations, good faith negotiations when you don't trust the other side at all? And you think they're literally preparing to attack you again in the middle of peace talks, which the U.S. has done not once but twice. Visit BetMGM Casino and check out the newest exclusive. Gas prices, we all can see for ourselves, have gone up significantly. And there's no insight in regard to how much more oil prices will rise.
Starting point is 00:40:48 And that translates to, of course, inflation all throughout our economy, not just the United States, but the global economy. And it is not a good look for the U.S., especially since there was nothing that the U.S. was going to gain in entering this war in the first place. So that's where we're at. We'll update you on this story, of course, as it develops. But for now, let's take a brief break. And when we come back, we've got a lot more to get to. I really do want to talk a little bit about how pathetic J.D. Vance is as a man who purports to follow the Catholic religion. Well, did he defend Catholic religion as the president of the United States has been attacking the Pope and depicting himself as God?
Starting point is 00:41:31 Come back and I'll show you. What's up, everybody? I'm going to read a few member comments and then I'll move over to super chats. Let's actually start off with Chantal Carrier, beautiful name. Thank you for becoming a new member and supporting the show. We have LGA 3523. USA and Israel are the biggest criminal organizations in the world. Hypocratically, they define all resistance against their illegal occupations and resources robbery. Resources robbery as terrorists. It is surreal. Yeah, the gaslighting is insane.
Starting point is 00:42:38 And I actually want to address that gas lighting a little later in the show. It's probably one of my favorite segments in the show today. We'll probably get that in the second hour. Let's go to Ronald Fan who says, Happy Taco Tuesday, TYT family, and to you, Solo, Anna. Netanyahu is a madman. I pray to God. that if Netanyahu gets voted out of office, he will be in prison for the rest of his life. I mean, at a bare minimum, at a bare minimum. Spirit of Pakistani, Gergal force writes it in our super chats and says, so this is how demon Netanyahu is remembering the Holocaust victims through illegal violent colonization. No wonder why people are slowly doubling down on why Osama bin Laden did 9-11.
Starting point is 00:43:22 It's all there. Unlimited funds has to stop. Yeah, I mean, that's part of the reason why the letter to America from Osama bin Laden isn't really talked about in the press. And in fact, is censored significantly. So anyway, let's get back to the show. I like tacos. Welcome back to the show, everyone. And welcome to our members, including Mr. Anderson 3369, who says a country the size of New Jersey is the reason for a global recession.
Starting point is 00:44:14 Of course, you're talking about Israel there. And yeah, yeah, it's, it is unbelievable how much destruction we are willing to carry out on the entire globe on behalf of that tiny country. It is amazing. Anyway, let's move on to something a little different because it turns out that one of the major public figures who's been a critic of aggression in the Middle East, border expansion, land, theft, genocide, happens to be Pope Leo. And as a result, he's been attacked by the president. The real question is, what about the vice president? You know, the guy who purports to be a Catholic, what does he have to say? Let's get into it. I certainly think that in some cases, it would be best for the Vatican to stick to matters of morality, to stick to matters of, of, you know,
Starting point is 00:45:07 what's going on to the Catholic Church. This is unprecedented. It's unprecedented for an American Vice President to come the week before an election. The reason why we're doing it is because we thought there was so much garbage happening against Victor and this election that we had to show that there are actually a lot of people and a lot of friends across the world who recognize that Victor and his government are doing a good job and they're important partners for peace. Well, Vice President J.D. Vance has basically ordered the Pope, Pope Leo, to stay out of U.S. politics and focus on questions of morality. Well, he spent some time in Hungary trying to get Victor Orban reelected and, oops, he gone, he gone. But that's not what this story is about.
Starting point is 00:45:59 The story is actually about the fact that J.D. Bance, who claims to be a devout Catholic, turned on Catholics and Catholicism and instead decided to side with the unhinged president of the United States, Donald Trump, who took time out of of his day to attack Pope Leo because he doesn't like Pope Leo's commentary and stances on the brutalization and murder of innocent civilians in the Middle East. So let's get into the details here. So as a reminder, Trump attacked Pope Leo in a lengthy truth social post, writing that Pope Leo is weak on crime and terrible for foreign policy. I don't want a Pope who thinks it's okay for Iran to have a nuclear weapon. The Pope is not. The Pope is not a
Starting point is 00:46:43 never said that he's okay with Iran having a nuclear weapon. It's just, okay. Like the false binary thing here, right, where it's like, oh, you're against the war. That must mean you want Iran to have a nuclear weapon. No, no one said that. The straw man here is ridiculous. But I'll continue with the statement. He also said, I don't want a pope who thinks it's terrible that America attacked Venezuela. Well, I do, actually. I do want that kind of pope. Because honestly, what is morality if The Pope is advocating for the kidnapping of foreign leaders because you don't like them. Okay, but I'll continue. And I don't want a Pope who criticizes the president of the United States because I'm doing
Starting point is 00:47:21 exactly what I was elected in a landslide to do, setting record low numbers in crime and creating the greatest stock market in history. Again, none of that. I mean, the stock market's doing fine, but the stock market is built on a house of cards, which is terrifying considering the fact that hardworking Americans have their retirement accounts invested in that garbage. But here's what happened next. So this is all because Pope Leo had criticized Trump. Most of the time, without even naming Trump, by the way, that's how sensitive Trump is, because he's someone who's calling for peace. That's what the Pope should do, right?
Starting point is 00:47:57 He doesn't want bloodshed in an unjust war. Take a look. Once again, what I said in the Urbi at Orby message on Sunday, asking all people of goodwill to search always for peace and not violence, to reject war, especially a war which many people have said is an unjust war, which is continuing to escalate, and which is not resolving anything. In fact, we have a worldwide economic crisis, energy crisis, situation in the Middle East of great instability, which is only provoking more hatred throughout the world. So come back to the table. Let's talk. Let's look for solutions in a peaceful way. And let's remember, especially the innocent, children, the elderly, sick, so many people who have already become or will become victims of this continued war. warfare. People want peace. I would invite the citizens of all the countries involved to contact the authorities, political leaders, congressmen, to ask them, tell them to work for peace and to reject war always.
Starting point is 00:49:15 Jady Van said he wants the Pope to focus on questions of morality. Did the Pope not just address morale, morality? I mean, he just talked about the necessity of peace, the protection of human lives. In fact, if you are triggered by what you just heard from Pope Leo, maybe it's time to consider you're the bad guy. Maybe you're the bad guy. If you're triggered by the Pope calling for peace, an end to war, an end to violence, you are the bad guy, just to be clear. which takes us back to Vice President J.D. Vance. So he did not in any way try to push back against the president, either privately or publicly, of course. Now, there's a subtle way you can do it without triggering Trump because he is
Starting point is 00:50:14 very thin-skinned and egotistical. I get that. But this is a guy who wants to run for president in 2028. What are you doing? What are you doing? Okay. So instead of doing the right thing, As someone who purports to be a Catholic, he decided to tell the Pope to back off, take look. Do you think that when the president says it's hurting him very badly, going catering to the radical left is hurting the Catholic Church? Do you agree with the president there? Well, look, I think the president has the prerogative to set American foreign policy. He's got the prerogative to set American immigration policy.
Starting point is 00:50:50 He has to look out for the interests of the United States of America. And that inevitably means that when the Vatican, comments on issues of public policy. Sometimes there's going to be agreement, of course, and sometimes there's going to be disagreement. I think that's a reasonable thing, Brett. Again, I don't think that it's particularly newsworthy, but I certainly think that in some cases, it would be best for the Vatican to stick to matters of morality, to stick to matters of, you know, what's going on to the Catholic Church, and let the President of United States stick to dictating American public policy. But when they're in conflict, they're in conflict. I don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:51:27 it too much, Brett. I think it's a natural thing. I'm sure it'll happen in the future, and it's not that big of a deal that it happened in the past. Total clown. No backbone at all, at all. Let me remind you that Pope Leo happens to be the first U.S. born Pope. And as an American especially, he has the right to speak on the decisions made by the American government. And more importantly, regardless of where he was born or what his citizenship status is, what matters the most is the fact that he is the Pope. And the Pope should not be preaching violence. In fact, I agree with J.D. Vance, the Pope should be addressing issues of morality.
Starting point is 00:52:15 So let's talk about this issue, which I believe is an issue of morality. Why? Well, according to U.S. human rights group. This is the same human rights group that has been methodically tracking how many protesters were killed in Iran. And no, it wasn't 35,000. They're attaching names, the actual people who have been killed, and it's somewhere in the 6,000 range. But nonetheless, HRA-A-H-N-A-Hurana, I believe it's called, found that 3,636 people have been killed in Iran since this war began. 1,701 were innocent civilians, including 254 children, because of course, of course. I mean, 168 of those children were killed in the opening salvo when the U.S.
Starting point is 00:53:05 decided to use Tomahawk missiles to bomb an elementary school in Monab. So how is that not a question of immorality that should be addressed, especially by a religious leader who people have faith in, who people trust, and who people listen to. You know, someone like Pope Leo. I'm not even a Catholic. It is insane that non-Catholics are defending the Pope harder than J.D. Vance has ever done, honestly. But let me continue. In the same interview, he told the Pope to stay out of foreign affairs, in the same interview where he told the Pope to stay out of foreign affairs, He also said this in regard to the peace talks that have been kind of taking place between the U.S. and Iran. Take a look.
Starting point is 00:53:55 Made clear where we're willing, again, to be accommodating. And we've made clear where we absolutely need to see the nuclear material come out of the country of Iran. We actually made very clear what our red lines were. We also made clear, Brett, that we actually would be very happy. The President of the United States has said he would be very happy if Iran was treated like a normal country. if it had a normal economy, if its people were able to prosper and thrive. But in order for Iran to be a normal country economically, it's going to have to be a normal country from the perspective of not pursuing a nuclear weapon.
Starting point is 00:54:29 And it's going to have to be a normal country from not pursuing terrorism. And so there really is, I think, a grand deal to be had here. But it's up to the Iranians, I think, to take the next step. Let's identify which countries or which country in the region, Donald Trump and J.D. Vance consider to be normal. Obviously, I'm talking about Israel, whose wars we're forced to bankroll and sacrifice our soldiers in. That's a normal country. So, okay, let's see Iran start behaving like Israel, since Israel is a normal country. If Iran just begins leveling the whole of Israel the way Israel leveled Gaza, that's normal.
Starting point is 00:55:16 right? They can do that. Why shouldn't Iran be able to obtain nuclear weapons, considering the fact that the normal country in the region, Israel, has a nuclear arsenal and is not part of the nonproliferation treaty as every other nuclear power is? So maybe the big problem here is that we're not letting Iran have a nuclear weapon. Let's let them have a nuclear weapon so they can be a normal country. Maybe Iran should seek to expand its borders and annex land from its neighbors like Israel does. Maybe that'll make them a normal country. Vance is not a man who is guided by principles. Vance is not a man who is of conviction, who's willing to fight for his core values because he has none. Jady Vance was grown in a petri dish by Peter Teal.
Starting point is 00:56:19 Peter Teal's, the company he co-founded, Palantir, is profitable specifically because it is now one of the major defense contractors that profits off war. Jady Vance, like every other corrupt politician, is beholden to his donors. the idea that this man is some peace nick. And by the way, this is my speculation. I want to be clear about that. I think it's J.D. Vance who leaked that story to the New York Times about what occurred in the situation room where, oh, it painted J.D. Vance is this, like, hero that's like trying to prevent the war from happening.
Starting point is 00:56:59 He's pushing back, pushing back. He's working overtime leaking stories to Maggie Haberman, who dutifully does her stenographer work. He's like, oh, J.D. Vance was so great. He was pushing back so hard. No, he wasn't. No, he wasn't. J.D. Vance will go to war on behalf of Israel and he'll like it. That's who J.D. Vance really is. He was never a peace nick. There's never been a shred of evidence to indicate he's a peace Nick. And he doesn't even have the courage to stand up to the president of the United States as the Pope is getting attacked by said president.
Starting point is 00:57:41 So I don't trust anything coming out of J.D. Vance's mouth. So many people were like, oh, well, that J.D. Vance is going to be part of the negotiation. So maybe we'll get peace as two Israeli assets were standing behind him, Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner. Please. I just don't want you guys to be hoodwinked by these scammers and these loathsome individuals who think you're dumb enough to buy their BS. I don't think you're dumb. I think you're way smarter than that.
Starting point is 00:58:14 And in fact, despite how hard J.D. Vance has been working behind the scenes to paint himself as, you know, the anti-war candidate for 2028. He was recently thanked by APEC. Fascinating. So AAC quote tweeted a post from J.D. Vance where he says, we've made clear that we absolutely need to see the nuclear material come out of the country of Iran, the ball is in the Iranians court because we put a lot on the table. Wow, great quote. A-Pak thanked him for that. Thank you, Vice President. Kiss the death. So maybe we shouldn't be meddling in other countries affairs, right, Jady Vance, right? Since you think it's inappropriate for the Pope
Starting point is 00:58:58 to comment on questions of war and peace. But I think the Pope speaking out on this makes him courageous. moral and beyond qualified for the job he's doing as the Pope. If I were Catholic, I would feel incredibly proud to be represented by Pope Leo because we don't have enough public figures who are willing to speak out against atrocities that are currently being committed in the Middle East for no reason other than greed and land expansion. So there you have it. All right, we're going to take a actually, you know what, let me read some member comments since we've got five minutes before we go to break. And right now it would be a great time to send in your comments. Let's start off with our t-y-t.com members where Burrito Bandito, it's been a while since I've read one of your comments,
Starting point is 00:59:48 says the Pope should exercise Trump, not like exercise, but more like take the demons away, you know? I don't even know if that's possible, to be honest with you. The demon character is very, you know, ingrained in who Trump is as a person. In our Twitch community, we have A watch streak reached by Blue Sand Rhythm, 35 months, or actually 35 streams. Duh. Thank you for watching our show and supporting what we do here. And the comment is that Israel will never stop. They need to be stopped.
Starting point is 01:00:23 And I totally agree with you on that. We also have Bradshaw crew of one who gifted one TYT, gifted sub, Tier 1 sub, specifically and says that they, and by the way, thank you for giving six subs total. Really, really appreciate the support. We also have Ronald Fan, whose comment, I think I read earlier, but I'll read it again, Happy Taco Tuesday, TYT family and to you, Solo Anna. Netanyahu is a madman. And I pray to God that if Netanyahu gets voted out of office, he will end up in prison for the rest of his life. And we also have Arctic Koki. I hope I said that correctly.
Starting point is 01:01:01 America refuses to accept we lost, and some things are going to be worse now. You're totally right about that. Don't know if the Epstein regime has anyone that reasonable. I don't think so. I mean, look, Trump hates to admit loss, and he's not going to admit loss. So he's desperately trying to find a way to spin this, get out of the war and spin this as victory. But we see what's happening at the gas pump. This ain't victory at all. And we all remember what Trump. Trump had listed as his objectives in this war against Iran. How many of those objectives have been accomplished? Okay, you decapitated the regime.
Starting point is 01:01:39 The regime is still in place. At this point, regime change war is a fantasy. Well, the war is not fantasy, but regime change is a fantasy. And on top of that, it looks like what we have done is create a situation in which Iran has more power, not less. So, congratulations. Anyway, I don't believe in cope. I believe in understanding and recognizing what the reality is. But the same can't be said of others.
Starting point is 01:02:12 And when we come back from the break, I'll tell you exactly who I'm talking about. Hey, Andrew, what's up? Hey, Jank, you ready to make the switch? Yeah, I guess. I promise it's easy. Universal, basic, and you get income. Yeah, you keep saying that. But you're sure I'm going to have coverage?
Starting point is 01:02:38 Of course you will. You think I would have bad service? I'm Andrew Yang, of course. I have good service. All right, let's try. But I'm so bad at tech. So, wait. Should I do this thing of the hashtag business?
Starting point is 01:02:52 Andrew, you're still on, right? Yep. Oh, I see it. Oh, wait, I don't see it. Oh, yeah, I do see it. Here we go. I actually did not realize that you'd be searching in real time, but I love it. How much do people actually normally say?
Starting point is 01:03:07 Yeah, the average American is going to say between. $500 and $1,000 a year on Noble. Yeah, no. You know what I'm going to do, Andrew? Are you ready to become a Noble member? The two buttons are do it and go back. There's no going back. We're doing it.
Starting point is 01:03:20 We're doing it. Here we go, Noble Mobile. Oh my gosh, I just called you and are you now on Noble and not Verizon? Why didn't you tell me it was going to be super easy? I know, man. Now you just stay away from your phone and watch the money roll in.
Starting point is 01:03:35 I can do that. You can a phone, yeah. Jake, you still there? Andrew? Oh, Prue. Well, at least I got an Oval Mo. It was really just one take. The whole thing is wild.
Starting point is 01:03:51 It's in my shoes. It's in my shoes. Hi, I'm Brett Ehrlich with Breaking News with Brett Ehrlich. This is Breaking News with Brett Ehrlich. Hi. Red Ehrlich here. According to EPA head Scott Pruitt, climate change is not happening. He cited a meme on Facebook you saw.
Starting point is 01:04:06 When pressed to back up this source, he said it must be accurate, because the watermark said it was made by a scientist. So your move, truth. At TYT, our mission is to boldly pursue truth, challenge the establishment, and drive positive change. At a time when corporate capture of our media, our government, and our politics is nearly absolute.
Starting point is 01:04:36 Everyday working people need a champion a fight for them and a pushback against the powerful interests that threaten our democracy itself. At TYT, we're proudly progress. and call out corruption and duplicity wherever we see it from Republicans, Democrats, or anyone else. And unlike mainstream news media outlets, we're not beholden to corporate advertisers to defense contractors, to Wall Street, or to Big Pharma. We only have to answer to our audience, and for nearly two decades. We've accomplished that by delivering honest, timely, and insightful
Starting point is 01:05:08 perspectives on the day's news without fear or favor or concern for whose toes we might step on or which powerful elites we might offend. And while we're super serious about the news, we also manage to do it in a way that is fun and lighthearted. We can do this together and serve our audience. And yes, have fun doing it. Much needed. TYT, TYT.
Starting point is 01:05:44 The place is like 95% TYT on. The people who support us on the internet, that's what gives us strength. That's what allows anyone who was in there who was undecided to think. One side seems to be winning. They seem to have a bigger army. It might be a reason for that. So thank you guys. Rutro.
Starting point is 01:06:24 Everyone, welcome back to the show, Anna Kasparian with you. All right, send in your super chats and your member comments. I will be reading them during our breaks. And for our members, we will be having a members-only bonus episode tonight right after the second hour. And we'll talk a little bit about a moment on the Pierce Morgan show that I thought was fascinating. because it looks like you have representatives from pretty much every side of the political aisle agreeing on something and might be a sign of things to come when it comes to U.S. foreign policy. But anyway, for now, let's talk a little bit about this.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Israel is losing support here in the United States, even amongst Republicans. You go back to 2022, two thumbs up, two thumbs up for Israel amongst young Republicans. But by 2025, look at this. Already a 30 point shift away, their net favorability down to minus two. Today, look at this, minus 16 points. And now the net favorability of Israel amongst all adults, minus 23 points. That's a 36 point change in just four years time amongst all adults. Well, as you just saw Harry Enten from CNN display very clearly, Well, Americans across the board have lost support toward Israel, and you would think that this would lead to Israel's most ardent defenders, maybe doing some self-reflection, maybe urging Israel to reconsider some of these slaughter campaigns they've carried out in multiple countries in the Middle East and beyond. But unfortunately, that's not what's happening here, okay?
Starting point is 01:08:20 that self-reflection, taking personal responsibility, not really something that's seen or common among Zionists. And I want to show you a few examples of what I'm talking about. For example, Victor Davis Hansen, who's a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute and has a podcast of some sort. Now, he shited Megan Kelly recently over her criticism of Israel, but wait till you see why he thinks that Megan Kelly, has had a change of heart when it comes to the Zionist project. Take a look. She was very supportive of Israel and very critical of the Palestinians. And Tucker was not so much so, but he wasn't as critical of Israel and Trump as he is now.
Starting point is 01:09:11 Candice Owens had already gone off the deep end. What changed was not the actual realities, but world opinion, and the propaganda of all the rubble in Gaza and in Beirut and none of the reasons of the causation for it and the mood on the campuses in the United States and the democratic radicalism with Mondami and then we've got all of these socialist governors coming in and the Democratic Party changed
Starting point is 01:09:38 and it became cool or became the status quo for the left and the center to try to excuse the United States not that they didn't criticize Trump. They said he's a fool and he's stupid, but he was hoodwinked by this Jewish guy who's clever and diabolical. Nobody said that.
Starting point is 01:10:06 Nobody said that Trump was hoodwinked by this Jewish guy. No one said that. In fact, the New York Times piece that Davis Hansen is referring to, which relied on a leak very likely from Vice President J.D. Vance, who understands the toxicity of being associated with a devastating and disastrous war against Iran, indicates that Prime Minister Benjamin Nanyahu, the leader of a foreign country who has been lusting for war with Iran for literally decades lied to Trump about the ease in which the Iranian regime would be toppled and Trump
Starting point is 01:10:48 stupidly took his advice and went for it. There's no discussion about the Jews, okay? No one said that, ooh, the manipulative Jews did this. But of course, like all Zionists, Victor Davis Hansen refuses to look at the fact that the, you know, the reality has changed for a lot of Americans who have witnessed a genocide in 4K over two and a half years. who have seen Israel mock the United States in consistently talking about how much control they have over our government. Netanyahu just bragged about it yesterday, literally.
Starting point is 01:11:34 What did Netanyahu say yesterday? That during the talks with the Iranians this past weekend, J.D. Vance immediately called him to brief him on the talks, right? Yeah. So it, the rubble in Gaza that he referred to, oh, it's propaganda. No, no, they leveled Gaza. 80% of all residential homes weren't just damaged. They were demolished. The rest were damaged. But 80% gone, leveled, finished, finished. Entire families were wiped out. Iran blocked, I'm sorry, Israel blocked humanitarian aid into Gaza for three months straight on purpose. The UraMed monitor just came out with additional reporting about the systematic sexual torture that's carried out against Palestinian hostages in Israeli prisons.
Starting point is 01:12:40 Do you want me to keep going? Do you want to address even one of those points? No, of course not. Oh, they just hate Israel because they're anti-Semitic. They hate the Jews. Okay, for the narcissists out there who are so obsessed with their delusions about how everyone hates them for no reason at all, please, for the love of God, take a look at your behavior. Please, I'm begging you.
Starting point is 01:13:08 Because unlike Zionists, most human beings value human life and they don't like to see children slaughtered. So when they speak out against children being slaughtered, that isn't about speaking out against the Jews. It's about speaking out against a government and military that continuously engages in these types of violent, destructive, destabilizing military campaigns and drags the United States into it every time. That's the reality. That's the reality. And you know, what he had to say there reminded me a lot of the delusional commentary in the aftermath of the Dave Smith, Douglas Murray debate on the Rogan podcast. In fact, why don't we check in with what Sam Harris had to say about his buddy, Douglas Murray, who's literally working for the Israeli government. So that should have been disclosed by Murray during the debate. It wasn't. But we found out later. Anyway, here's what Sam Harris had to say about it.
Starting point is 01:14:07 Douglas was great. You know, I think I might disagree with a couple of things he said, and I think I might have taken a slightly different line in that conversation. But in many respects, he was much better than I would have been in having that conversation, too. So it's just he's, I thought he was spectacular. I looked at the comments, and, you know, at that time, maybe things have changed. I can't imagine, but it was 100%. I mean, not even 99%,
Starting point is 01:14:38 100% against Douglas. Douglas was just a pompous. Just arguing from authority. There's no value in what he said. I can't believe Joe even had him on. Dave Smith's a genius, right? That was the center of narrative gravity there. Obviously, all of that is completely delusional.
Starting point is 01:15:01 and symptomatic of the problem that we have in our culture and the problem that Joe has created for himself over there with his immense audience. I mean, Joe has cultivated that audience. Ah, yes. The real problem isn't the genocide in Gaza, the brutality carried out by the IDF, not just in Gaza, but in multiple neighboring countries. The problem is the audience. The audience is just too stupid to understand the genius of Douglas Murray's amazing arguments, amazing arguments. And when it comes to the audience's reaction to Douglas Murray's brilliant argumentation, you know, it's because of that pesky Joe Rogan who's just propagandizing people to
Starting point is 01:15:56 what, reject bad arguments? Because Douglas Murray made terrible arguments, but nonetheless, rather than addressing those terrible arguments, rather than living in reality like the rest of us who saw that exchange and saw how bad that debate was for Douglas Murray, well, Sam Harris is going to blame the podcasters. In this case, Joe Rogan, take a look. When Douglas was trying to perform an intervention on him, pointing out the obvious fact that he has he has played footsy with some very dangerous conspiracy theories. He has had people like Daryl Cooper on the podcast and not had the searching conversation that was ethically necessary in the aftermath of Daryl Cooper's appearance on Tucker Carlson.
Starting point is 01:16:40 He didn't, you know, he can use the phrase sunlight is the best disinfectant and perhaps it is, but he brought none of it to that conversation. And he brings none of it to any conversation where he hasn't done his homework in advance so as to detect the lies and the delusions of his guest. Listen, home boy, the only one who's delusional here, the only one who's lying here is you, Sam Harris. Okay, because his friend Douglas Murray was actually far more interested in debating about the credibility of Dave Smith,
Starting point is 01:17:16 as opposed to debating the substance of the arguments Dave Smith was bringing forth in regard to Israel and what it had carried out in Gaza at the time. That's the reality. And if you don't believe me, here's a little taste, a little reminder. I got four-star general Wesley Clark, Supreme Commander of the NATO forces. Why is it that he told me that he saw the plans in 2001 to overthrow Gaddafi? And that this was part of a strategy to overthrow seven governments in five years.
Starting point is 01:17:51 And all of them except one have been done at the day. this point. Nice to hear the end word again. The end word? Did I say that? Conservatives. Oh, that one. And then you say that the people who are doing it are these people with Jewish names, I think you should be more judicious than that because you probably know what bubbles up underneath you online by now. I have a journalistic rule of trying never to talk about a country even in passing unless I've at least been there.
Starting point is 01:18:22 Okay. It's a sort of normal. It's a normal thing to do. You're talking about, hang on, you're talking about crossing points. And not only of you've never been to a crossing point in either Egypt or in Israel, but you've never even been to the region. Okay. Again, I think this is a non-argument.
Starting point is 01:18:37 I don't understand. No, no, it's not an un-argument. Yeah, it is. It was a non-argument for sure. And Douglas Murray never hesitates at engaging in commentary about countries he's never being to. Iran happens to be one of them. Hey, Douglas, go visit Iran. I mean, if you want to stick to your fast and steady rule of avoiding any commentary about a country you haven't been to, then either you should shut up or you should visit Iran.
Starting point is 01:19:10 But anyway, similar nonsense was uttered by the likes of Brian Kilmead over at Fox News, who seemed to really want to rewrite history, but the facts are the facts. So what you're about to hear is Kilmead demonstrating why conservative boomers are really the only people who watch that cable news channel. Take a look. And then you listen to some of the most popular podcasts, which I like. And they don't pretend in many cases to be a source of news, but a lot of it are so popular they become just that. I'll give an example. Joe Rogan talking about, I guess the genesis of our prime. problems with Iran. And he went on to say that in the 50s, we overthrew a Democratic government and put in Islamic extremists and that he looked at Gemini in lifetime, a live time, an hour
Starting point is 01:20:01 and a half later, he said, well, that didn't happen. But for the people who listened in the beginning, it did happen, Lydia. It's all about the severity of the accusation. Even if you roll it back months later, it kind of doesn't matter. All right, well, two morons. Certainly propagandists who are spreading disinformation. The fact of the matter is the United States absolutely orchestrated a coup to overthrow a democratically elected leader in Iran in 1953. This isn't a secret. This isn't a conspiracy. This is reality.
Starting point is 01:20:34 All you have to do is, I don't know, read and not just watch TV and absorb propaganda Zionist garbage, which is what Fox News' whole existence is about. So, Mohammed Mossadegh was democratically elected. He wanted to nationalize Iran's oil, the United States. United States had a fit about that and decided to overthrow him and install the Shah. And the Shah was a puppet of, you know, the West, the United States and Israel in particular, of course. And that was a brutal authoritarian situation, despite all the Iranian women in mini skirts that the, you know, Zionist, Iranian diaspora likes to shove in our faces to show
Starting point is 01:21:22 how free the people of Iran were back in the day. They weren't free. There were secret police known as Savak. And they terrorized people. There was mass surveillance. It was incredibly authoritarian, which is why there was popular support for the revolution that occurred later in the 1970s. But one must wonder what Iran would have looked like if, you know, the United States didn't overthrow a democratically elected leader. But let's get back to the topic at hand because I'd like to help the, you know, the copium merchants, maybe touch base with reality a little bit, maybe help them understand why Israel has lost so much support among Americans, almost across the board. Really, older conservatives are the only ones who still support Israel. And they don't represent the majority of Americans, not by a long shot. And so if they want to know why that lack of support is now trending, it could be because of this reason.
Starting point is 01:22:28 Here's one of the reasons. There's many, but I want to provide one. This was reported by Heretz, an Israeli paper. a Palestinian family reported settler attacks and then ended up in jail. That's because the Israelis back the extremist Israeli settlers who keep stealing land and homes in the West Bank. So when these poor Palestinians thought it would be a good idea to report the settlers, they were punished instead. But you know, that's a smaller thing. Let me give you more.
Starting point is 01:23:02 Here's a recent post from Palestinian poet Omar Hamad. And we had to blur it because of YouTube's guidelines. But on the right hand side, you'll see a photo, and you could look it up on X if you'd like to yourselves. It's a photo of human body parts and plastic bags in Gaza. It represents 70 bodies, 70 individuals who were bombed to smithereens by the Israelis. Yeah. And here's what he says about it. A year and a half has passed and this scene is still etched in my mind.
Starting point is 01:23:36 It's haunting me. How those plastic bags were distributed, how a bag weighing 20 kilograms was labeled as a child and a 70 kilogram bag was labeled as a man. It stuck in my mind how flesh was mingled with flesh and packed away. It's haunting me that 70 human beings had their bodies turned into pieces of minced meat. Israel is the greatest evil in existence. Yeah, it turns out actions have consequences. When you do stuff like that, people turn against you.
Starting point is 01:24:10 Shocking. Wow, what a surprise. What a surprise. So people have turned on Israel because it's hard to find, it's not hard actually. It's not hard at all to find videos of IDF soldiers who openly brag about slaughtering children and innocent civilians. I'll give you one example. And this is just one, but there's many others. Take a look.
Starting point is 01:24:32 Do you like killing Palestinian children? Yes. Does it make you feel good when you bomb a hospital? Really? You guys killed children in Lebanon. Is that okay? Yes, this is okay because in Hamas. What about the children, the babies? The babies is good to kill.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Really, in Lebanon? Yes, in Lebanon and Gaza, in Iran. Really? It's a lot of Lebanon. okay to kill babies in Iran? Yes, yes. And in Gaza? Yes. And in Lebanon? Yes. You really believe that? Yes. Really. Have you ever killed any Palestinians? I killed. Have you ever killed any Palestinian children? I get. How many? I don't know. You don't keep track. No, but I get. But you've killed Palestinian children? Yes.
Starting point is 01:25:34 You know, according to the Zionists, Americans have lost support for Israel because what? They're suddenly all haters of Jewish people? Or could it be, could it be that we've all witnessed this stuff with our own two eyes? We've heard the wailing of mothers who lost their children with our own ears. We see it every day.
Starting point is 01:26:03 It's inescapable. There's more. Israel has consistently blocked humanitarian aid from reaching the Palestinians in Gaza. In fact, they blocked humanitarian aid from entering for three months straight. The IDF is currently occupying 54%, 53, 54% of the Gaza territory, while land continues to also get stolen in other parts, you know, belonging to other countries and the Palestinians, for instance, the West Bank, as I talked about earlier, where Hamas, by the way, does not operate, but it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 01:26:37 They don't even have to use an excuse when it comes to the West Bank. They're just doing it, and no one is pushing back. No one is pushing back in the international community. By the way, the whole notion of international law is now a joke. IDF soldiers slaughtered Palestinians as they lined up for food, humanitarian aid in Gaza. And in fact, the latest whistleblower to blow the whistle on that is David McIntosh, who worked for the GHF, that was the organization distributing humanitarian aid, but in reality they were lining Palestinians up to shoot and kill them.
Starting point is 01:27:08 He said that the soldiers, IDF soldiers, would use deadly force on people who pose no threat, including one incident where he personally witnessed a 12-year-old boy getting shot. Israel currently carpet bombed, or recently I should say, carpet-bombed Lebanon dropping over 100 bombs in a 10-minute span. How are you going to argue that you're targeting Hezbollah when you're, carpet bombing. They've announced that they're going to annex southern Lebanon, keep it for themselves, settle that land, of course. That's 10% of Lebanon stolen by the Israelis. Gee, are we allowed to comment on how we hate that and how we think that's wrong or does that make us Jew haters?
Starting point is 01:27:54 There's more. There's a growing body of evidence showing that Israel is intentionally targeting medical workers, rescue workers, and hospitals. Obviously, they did a lot of that in Gaza. Now they're doing it in Lebanon, of course. And French lawmakers are considering a bill that would land critics of Israel in prison for up to five years. I'm not kidding. If the French don't write over this, then you guys have totally lost your spirit because you usually protested right over less. Okay, I'm just keeping it real. But I want to share what I posted about this last night. So Middle East, I had done some coverage of this bill saying that French lawmakers set to push bill criminalizing speech on Israel with penalties of up to five years in prison. I used an excerpt from the article where they write
Starting point is 01:28:42 that the bill introduces sweeping new offenses. It criminalizes denying Israel's existence, while no law criminalizes denying France's right to exist. Also outlaws comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany, as Israel, by the way, behaves like Nazi Germany. Yeah, I did it. They're like Nazi Germany. So we've seen hundreds of people arrested in the UK over their restrictive policies on criticism toward Israel. And people's livelihoods have been destroyed here in the United States by various Zionist groups viciously and persistently attacking critics of Israel and demanding that their employers fire them. So you tell me, when your livelihood is destroyed because you dare speak out against atrocities committed by the Israeli government and military, do you think that's going to make you like Israel? Or is it going to make you loathe Israel? Just a question I'd like to pose to all the various people that I played videos of in this segment.
Starting point is 01:29:47 How about you actually address the atrocities for once? Other than that, how about shut up? because you have nothing of substance to offer people when all you do is smear individuals who have a conscience as anti-Semites. You're the bad people, not us. Anyway, we got to take a break. We'll be back with a positive story. So we're going to follow up on this copium with some hopium. All right.
Starting point is 01:30:15 Come right back. Have you been there? All right, welcome back, everybody. We've got Jay LeVar, who says, I consider myself agnostic. atheist leaning, but this is sure looking like the end of times as it was written. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I feel exactly what you're saying. Ricky Rage Dorazio says, I'm an atheist, but I agree with the Pope and his statements are, sorry, guys, I'm just, give me a minute.
Starting point is 01:31:22 I'm an atheist, but agree with the Pope and his statements that are totally moral. Vance obviously doesn't have a clue what morality is. Vance is a typical politician. Vance is really not novel in any way. So I don't know, for some reason, it's like particularly triggering for me when I hear people pretend as though he's like this brilliant peacnick who's working overtime behind the scenes to prevent war. No, he's not. No, he's not. Okay, please. I mean, it's about as credible as AOC's speech at the DNC, where she claimed that Kamala Harris was working around the clock to secure a ceasefire in Gaza. No one believe that. And you shouldn't believe that Vance is a peacnick, please. All right, let's go over to our Twitch community where we have Green New Dealer Dragon. Iran should write love letters like Kim Jong-un. Actually, it's a good. Welcome back to the show, everyone.
Starting point is 01:32:42 There's one thing that I forgot to do in that last segment. And I know this is a curveball for the production team and the crew. I apologize. There was that last sought in that last segment that I do want to play. Because for all the seething I did in that last segment, there was one individual that I want to give a lot of credit to. And that individual is actually Harry Enten because the video that he posted today, showing how Israel has lost support, actually gets into the reasons why.
Starting point is 01:33:10 And it's so rare to see this, especially in legacy media, that I think he does deserve credit for it. We can't show you the entire video, but we do want to show you at least a portion of it. So you get a sense of the analysis he did and how much I respect the fact that he did this analysis in the first place. Take a look. This is a change. Who Americans sympathize more with the Israelis or the Palestinians? Back in 2022, before the October 7th attacks, it was the Israelis by 20. That would even climb into the 40s, 50s, depending on which polling you looked at in terms of who Americans sympathize with the margin very much on the side of Israel.
Starting point is 01:33:49 But look at where we are now. In 2026, Americans sympathize more with the Palestinians by an 11 point margin. That is a shift of nearly 40 points in just four years' time. And when you compare it to 2023 after the October 7th attacks, we're talking about what? A 50-60 point change? My goodness gracious, but it is not just the Israelis and the Palestinian conflict in which why we're seeing these shifts among all these different groups and overall as well. It is because of the man who right now is the prime minister, the longtime prime minister of
Starting point is 01:34:24 Israel in early 2024, he was on the plus side of the ledger at plus nine points. But look now, look now, minus 23 points, again, an over 30 point shift. So he gets into even more detail in the video and he talks about how there was a sea change following Israel's atrocities in Gaza. My point is that Harry Enten decided to look at the facts. Rather than smear the American people as disgusting anti-Semites, and by the way, he's Jewish himself, right? Instead, he decided to look into why this is happening in the first place. And that is what you're supposed to do, live in reality, analyze trends in public opinion based in reality. Because if all you're going to do is smear people as anti-Semites and never contend
Starting point is 01:35:24 with why it is that Americans are so critical of Israel these days, then all you're doing is excusing Israel's brutality, inhumanity, genocide. You're emboldening them to do more of it. And I don't think people are going to like where that ends. So they're not doing Israel any favors, to be clear. Anyway, a big shout out to Harry Enton. I really, really appreciate the fact that he, A, covered the polling, which I think is important to know about.
Starting point is 01:35:56 But on top of that, actually took some time and effort to explain to Americans why this is happening. All right. Now let's move on to our next story. We don't agree on a lot of issues. We don't agree on abortion rights. We may not agree on everything related to gun violence, but she cares about the dignity of human beings. That's why she has spoken out against the president when he says, I want to wipe out Iranian civilization. That's what I'm concerned about more than social media post.
Starting point is 01:36:30 That's why we've spoken out for survivors. These aren't political issues. These are moral issues, rooted in and. our Constitution rooted in our fate traditions. That was an amazing moment on CNN recently. Former Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green has joined forces with Democratic Representative Rocana to basically form a new political coalition meant to challenge Washington on issues that there are commonalities that they share, right?
Starting point is 01:37:04 So for instance, we'll give you a few examples. You've got the Epstein files. They were both adamant about pushing the Trump administration and the DOJ to release the Epstein files. They joined forces to make that happen to some extent. They want to prevent endless wars, especially endless wars on behalf of Israel. They want to stop writing blank checks to Israel. They want to stop bankrolling the atrocities carried out by the Israeli government and military.
Starting point is 01:37:32 And yeah, they also want to address our $40 trillion in national debt. In the past, and I'm talking about way in the past, I do feel that the national debt was used as an excuse by our corporate lawmakers to justify how much they were abandoning the American people when it came to programs that could really better our lives. But the fact of the matter is they have squandered American treasure in these endless wars on behalf of Israel. And as a result, we are $40 trillion in debt. and we are spending now over a trillion dollars a year on simply servicing that debt. That is a big problem. And I'm glad that now you have Democrats who recognize that problem, not in a cynical way meant to screw over the American people,
Starting point is 01:38:21 but in the case of Rokane, he realizes how damaging it is to get dragged into wars on behalf of a foreign country, knowing how expensive that is, knowing that the American people are being abandoned, and knowing that our national debt is already outrageously high. Now, Rokana last, you know, had first floated this whole idea of this coalition last Thursday. So this was after Trump had announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran, very fragile ceasefire, as we all know. Kana gave conservative voices a lot of credit for being brave enough to speak out against the war in Iran, especially in lieu of Congress, which has really failed to stop Trump in doing anything. So without further ado, let's take a look at what he had to say.
Starting point is 01:39:08 As a human being and as an American citizen, I am relieved that Donald Trump has accepted a ceasefire and would draw on his threat to destroy Iranian civilization. But let's be clear. This did not happen because of Congress, which barely made a whimper. This happened because of the force of the American people, not just progressives and liberals, but conservatives like Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Green, and even Ann Coulter's. spoke out against the horror of threatening genocide against another people. This tells me one thing. The only thing that will save this country, the only thing that will save our democracy is a broad populist social movement, anti-epstein class, anti-war, pro-working class. I love it.
Starting point is 01:39:57 I mean, I think this makes a lot of sense. I think it makes sense to build coalitions based on issues as opposed to refusing to reach across the aisle and get things done because you're worried that it's going to look bad, that you're willing to work with Republicans. I mean, how stupid is that? And look, guys, I also want to just address and acknowledge that certainly in the past, the corporate media pushed for bipartisanship on things that actually end up screwing the American people over, right? So it's like, ooh, Congress passed a bipartisan government funding bill that further, you know, destroys public programs further takes certain, you know, things away from the American people.
Starting point is 01:40:39 But hey, it's bipartisanship. Isn't it great? No, it isn't great. Like that isn't great. Oh, wow, we have donors, corporate donors, who bribe both Democrats and Republicans, which is why they agree on policies regarding deregulation of industry, which, of course, allows for chemicals in our food and all sorts of really unhealthy, terrible things. And of course, additional tax cuts that disproportionately help corporations in the rich. That's what they usually agree on. But in this particular case, you have members of the left and the right wanting to work together on something that's really important. And that is foreign policy that actually benefits the American people and doesn't terrorize others in sovereign
Starting point is 01:41:24 countries. And they want to not necessarily sever ties with Israel. I don't know if Rokana wants to go as far as I would want to go because I want to. to completely decouple from Israel, period. But he wants to cut off the money entirely. And I really respect that. Marjorie Taylor Green agrees. Marjorie Taylor Green says that Roe, I agree with you that we need a strong populist coalition of the right and left
Starting point is 01:41:51 that can come together on the most important issues for the future generations of Americans. This is no easy task, given years of deep political divisions between the right and the left on issues both sides are passionate about. For the sake of my children's generation, I'm willing to come together, go to the whiteboard, and begin to try to sketch something new. Have you guys noticed that most of our politics over the last, I don't know, a few decades, certainly kind of exploded in 2014.
Starting point is 01:42:23 The focus was all on social issues. And I'm not at all minimizing or belittling those issues. they're important issues. But while we were fighting about transgender people in sports, we're shelling out more and more weaponry and money to Saudi Arabia, to Israel. Okay, we're seeing additional deregulation and tax cuts. Under the Biden administration, we saw the privatization of public lands in his infrastructure bill, which infuriated me but didn't get much attention to the corporate media.
Starting point is 01:42:57 Gee, I wonder why. Let me continue with what else Marjorie Taylor Green had to say. We both know the powerful political industrial complex of the Democrat and Republican parties will do anything to stop the right slash left true America first coalition, supported by ordinary Americans and not big money special interests and foreign agents and their donors. This is likely the only way to break free of the corrupt system from both sides that controls everything. constantly goes to war and only enriches themselves while average Americans continue to lose. It's definitely worth starting the conversation. And Roe agrees. He responded, saying that, as you know, my policies are about creating prosperity for left-out
Starting point is 01:43:46 Americans who have been shafted and tackling the massive economic divide. I call it a new economic patriotism. I'm willing to work with people of goodwill from both parties or no party to advance that vision. Understanding we will certainly have serious disagreements on many individual issues and our general view of the role government can play. Spirited debate is what this nation is about. And then he ends with I am gay. You love to see. I mean, I personally love to see it because this isn't like that phony pro-corporate bipartisanship.
Starting point is 01:44:23 This is an effort at really pushing for a paradigm shift as it pertains to some of our economic policies and certainly as it pertains to our foreign policies. Which brings us to last night when Rocana and Marjorie Taylor Green sat down together for their first joint interview with Caitlin Collins on CNN and take a look. Rocahna and I both are willing to say that the current center of right and left that have been coming together for decades have failed Americans. And Roe and I, just like he said, we're completely different. I'm unapologetically pro-life. I'm against a trans agenda on children. I'm against the Green New Deal. I'm for very secure borders and a strong economy and a smaller government. But the current
Starting point is 01:45:10 center right and left that coalition in America have got us in $40 trillion in debt and debt have funded foreign war after foreign war after foreign war and now funding another one. I think that is a question of what you think this could potentially look like, even if people are skeptical of it being realistic? Well, first of all, more than the policies, I think it's the way Representative Green and I treat each other with respect, not looking at the worst possible thing either of us has said over the last 10 years and trying to sensationalize it, but trying to actually have a dialogue to understand where the other person is coming from, where we disagree, and where we could have more common
Starting point is 01:45:52 ground. So you can notice that both of them are kind of signaling to their own supporters. Like, we still disagree on plenty of things, but there are things that we do agree on and we want to work together to accomplish something on those things, right? So Roe actually went on to provide an example of an area where he sees that there's agreement between himself and Marjorie Taylor Green. It has to do with health care, which is tremendously important. Take a look. And Marjorie Telegrina's talked about how people don't have health care. Now I'm for Medicare for all. She may have different ideas on that, but we both recognize that the system is broken. And in my view, unless we start to have these conversations in a civil, thoughtful way,
Starting point is 01:46:38 we're not going to actually address the fundamental issue, which is the working class. And many people in the middle class have gotten shafted in America. It is a real problem. And Republicans refuse to face the issue. You know, they complain all the time about Obamacare, but they're under. willing to do anything to fix it. And I think there needs to be a real solution there. I'm not for Medicare for all, but I am for a strong solution that can help Americans. And look, at the end of the day, if we can get, you know, populist Republicans and, first of all, get populist Republicans elected, number one, who are open to a public option, that's already a lot better than the system that we're
Starting point is 01:47:22 living under, clearly. So you have to be willing to negotiate and then keep pushing, keep fighting. But where we are right now is we're not getting anything done. And things just keep devolving. The quality of life for Americans continues to be degraded. And if you're wondering, okay, well, how exactly is Marjorie Taylor Green going to be able to accomplish a damn thing when she resigned from Congress out of fear that her family was going to be harmed because Trump was targeting her and threatening her. Well, she did address that. Let's take a look. I have the capacity to drive the conversation and the willingness to do so when there's very few people on the right willing to do that. I completely agree with Roe. Americans are really sick and tired of the divide,
Starting point is 01:48:08 and they're sick and tired of the political drama in their lives. This is something that I'm willing to involve myself in because I think the political pressure on the outside, is actually becoming more powerful than the ability to get things accomplished on the inside. That's what I found firsthand. Many Americans today are getting to the point where they think both parties have fully failed them, Republicans and Democrats. We have real problems coming in the future, and it's the forward-thinking leaders that are going to be the problem solvers for that.
Starting point is 01:48:44 Well, Republicans and Democrats have failed the American people. There's no question about that, which is why the largest voting block now, Independence. People registered as independence, not Democrats, not Republicans, not because they're low information voters, but because they know that both parties will shaft them. I'm going to end on this. I was really curious to see whether lawmakers like Representative Ilhan Omar would be supportive of this effort, especially because, you know, Marjorie Taylor Green, before she had a little bit of growth was pretty vicious to Muslim members of Congress. There's no question about that, right?
Starting point is 01:49:27 And we were pretty brutal in our commentary in response to that. However, Ilhan Omar has weighed in on this. She commented on it during a recent appearance on Pod Save America. Let's watch. Shifting gears a little bit. I did want to uplift us for a minute and play some comments from your former colleague, Marjorie Taylor Green. watch this. The American people have to open their eyes and deal with reality and deal with truth. And the truth is, look, you may have supported President Trump for 10 years like I did,
Starting point is 01:50:00 like you have, but this is not the same man. What's your reaction to seeing comments like that for Marjorie Taylor Green? Someone has not always been, I think, as collegial to you as she should have been. They are not just coming out like the other ones that you'd mentioned where they're saying this action is wrong, right? They're saying, I am done with you. We should give them credit for that. The fact that they've had this wake up call to finally seeing this con man, this corrupt, chaotic man for what he is, the fact that they understand that he never really had any principles outside of uplifting his ego. True. I mean, where is the lie? You have to give Marjorie Taylor Green credit for being one of the most vocal conservative critics of President
Starting point is 01:50:58 Donald Trump. And that's as someone who was an ardent supporter of Trump's. So I believe in redemption. I don't have to agree with everything that Marjorie Taylor Green believes. But I do believe in positive reinforcement and forgiveness. When someone grows, when someone change, when some changes, or when someone realizes that they were wrong in the past. I don't think that's a sign of weakness. I actually think that's a sign of strength and maturity. So we'll see if this goes anywhere. I'm really hoping it does because we deserve representation by the government that we fund.
Starting point is 01:51:40 And we're not getting that right now. So I'm really happy to see Rokane and Marjorie Taylor Green launch this effort. And hopefully we'll finally get policies that serve the American people. people rather than corporate and foreign interests. We'll be right back. All right. So you got a message for John Idroll? Tell him to be nice to me. What is up, everybody? Let's go to Dragon Slowly in our member section.
Starting point is 01:52:32 People have never heard the Palestinian perspective before social media change that. Israel's actions have been inexcusable even before October 7th. preach. You know, you know, I agree with you on that one. Boomer Cat Dragon says Roe could go down as the most effective Congress member of Trump's second term. I mean, where's the lie, girl? Where's the lie? Okay. He succeeded in passing that legislation in Congress that forced the Trump administration, forced the DOJ to release at least half of the Epstein files, right? Yes, heavily redacted. Yes, there's still 50% of the files that they haven't released. But big shout out to, Congressman Thomas Massey, who was also part of that effort. And it appears that Thomas Massey, based on the polling, is going to win the primary race for his congressional seat, despite all that money that the Israel lobby, along with Miriam Adelson, funded for his opponent. So it's great. Anyway, even though, like, look, Thomas Massey, he's a libertarian, right?
Starting point is 01:53:37 His economic policies are totally opposite of my economic policies. But at least he's a man of principle. At least he's not lying to his constituents. And you can tell he's not lying by looking at his voting record. He is who he says he is. And if the people of Kentucky like that and want that, they should get that. It's that simple. Let's get back to the show.
Starting point is 01:53:59 I want to read one super chat and then move on to our next story. Elliot says, I'm an audio listener. And I thought the last sentence in Rose tweet was, I'm gay. And I thought, wow, that is one hell of a way to come out. And especially to Marjorie Taylor Greed, that is not what he said, just to be clear. But I was amused by that comment. All right, thank you for the super chats, everybody. Thank you to our members.
Starting point is 01:54:42 Let's get to our next story. My friends, that's it. Other than Fox News boomers, there's no one left. There's no one left in the original MAGA coalition. Megan Kelly has declared that President Donald Trump's 2024 coalition is dead, gone, fractured, destroyed. And honestly, she's not wrong. So in fact, Harry Enten makes it abundantly clear that she is absolutely correct about this. She's onto something. Take a look. This is a rut row moment to quote the great Scooby-Doo. Trump's net approval rating with non-college whites.
Starting point is 01:55:21 Look at this. In February of 2025, it was plus 32 points. Down it goes, look at those. Look at it goes. Johnny. Johnny is just shocked by this number and now it is minus two points. That is a 34 point shift and I will note this is an average of pulse. This is not just one poll. I've averaged three different polls here, three big pollsters. It's the economy smarty when I'm talking with Mr. Berman. Just take a look here. I mean again look at this on the economy is net approval rating non-collarge rates. You go back to February 2025 he was 26 points above water. Look at this shift. Minus 15 points. What about the war?
Starting point is 01:55:54 While the war ain't helping him, because just take a look here. Non-college whites, net approval rating of U.S. military action against Iran, minus five points. You think that's low come over to this side of the screen. How about Trump on Iran? Minus 13 points, a very unlucky 13 indeed for the president of the United States. I mean, name a demographic in America, excluding Zionists, who Trump hasn't offended or angered in his second term. seriously. And in fact,
Starting point is 01:56:24 Megan Kelly has some insight on that in the next clip. Take a look. It would do him very, very well to remember not the people
Starting point is 01:56:34 who buy the buildings from him, but the people who build them. It was his special sauce. It was like the thing that made him
Starting point is 01:56:41 invincible is that he came from money but he could understand and relate to the working class. Get back to that for the love of God.
Starting point is 01:56:50 Stop waking up thinking about how you can bomb the Iranians, send troops in on the ground, and offend 1.4 billion Christians across the country and the world. And today, Axios detailed all the various demographics in America who previously supported Trump and no longer do. So let's get into it. Let's go through them one by one. First up, Catholics. I think for obvious reasons, if you've been paying attention to the news, but for those who haven't, well, Catholics make up a... fifth of the United States, and Trump has been attacking the Pope pretty viciously,
Starting point is 01:57:28 Pope Leo. He also posted an image depicting himself as Jesus, which further upset Catholics and Christians. Then he took the image down and claimed that he only posted it because he thought he was being depicted as like a medical worker or doctor healing someone. Come on. Second, crypto enthusiasts. And sorry, crypto guys. I'm not shedding a tear over you being shafted by Trump. But Trump promised to be the crypto president, but it looks like crypto prices have stagnated. So these crypto investors are not so happy. And all of Trump's worthless meme coins didn't really do them any favors either. So that demo, for lack of a better word, they've turned on Trump. Third, you've got the farmers.
Starting point is 01:58:19 So, man, farmers, especially small farmers, I'm not talking about big ag, right? Things have already been incredibly tough for them. It is incredibly difficult to keep a farm afloat. Trump's policies are hitting his rural base from every direction. Tariffs that squeezed margins, deportations that thinned the farm labor force, trade tensions with China that sent soybean prices tumbling and now an Iran war that sent fuel costs soaring. Not good, pretty bad. But there is one other group I want to talk about. And of course, those are the Latinos, because Latinos did break from the Democratic Party in the last presidential
Starting point is 01:59:03 election and took a chance on Trump. Now, look, I think that Democrats need to learn lessons. and really understand why that happened, rather than just fall back on Trump failing and just doing nothing to regain support from Latinos. Like, I can't stand Democrats who do that, maybe improve, maybe do better, a line that they love to use, do better, do better, okay? But getting back to Latinos who previously supported Trump and no longer do, considering that Trump is a Republican, he did perform unusually well with the Latino vote in 2024. But a February CNN poll found that his approval rating among Latinos is just 22%.
Starting point is 01:59:50 So yeah, his coalition is fractured, but he probably doesn't care because he's not looking to get reelected, right? He's already serving his second term. Do members of the Republican Party care? Because it's definitely going to hurt them. Yeah, they care. But here's the problem with the Republican Party. They're cowards. And I'm talking about members of Congress.
Starting point is 02:00:11 I'm talking about Trump's enablers. They see the iceberg. They've been seeing the iceberg. And they just want to crash right into it because they're so scared to do the right thing, which is rain this MF or in. He's doing a lot of damage to the country. He's doing a lot of damage to you. And I mean, if there's one thing I thought I could rely on when it came to members of Congress
Starting point is 02:00:38 is that they're selfish. They look out for themselves more than anyone else. But as Trump is committing political suicide for the Republican Party, they're all just sitting back and giving him everything he wants. It's amazing, a sight to behold. So that's where we're at. Anyway, guys, we have a members-only bonus episode immediately following the show. So definitely tune in for that.
Starting point is 02:01:02 If you're not a member, have no fear. You can become one by going to t-y-t.com slash join. or just hit that join button if you happen to be watching us on YouTube. Spirit of Pakistani Jirga 4 says, also can we try to minimize bringing that demon Netanyahu's face on a thumbnail or general coverage before I punch my TV or phone? Don't do that. Don't punch your TV or phone. I've had my days, by the way. We're seeing the B-roll of Netanyahu's. I just can't stand it. So I feel your pain. Imagine how funny it would, how funny it would be if the same people did that insurrection on January 6th, now do that to Trump. I hope no one does anything violent.
Starting point is 02:01:45 Okay, I'm not a supporter of violence, but there is an increasing number of, as we just talked about, Trump supporters who are furious with him. In fact, that's why Trump attacked some of the public figures who got him elected, including Alex Jones, Candice Owens. man, Candice Owens, she went all in. She attacked Trump brutally on her show after he did that true social post, which very clearly wasn't written by him and didn't really do him any favors, to be honest. All right, let's read one more comment. This is from our member section. Let's see, Old Dog New Tricks, who's been a member for nine months, nine months, and I'm reborn as a progressive. Well, we love you. Thank you for supporting the show. There's a lot more show to get to. So if you're a member, stick around. We'll have our bonus episode very soon.
Starting point is 02:02:33 Jay Bill's 3000 says, hey, Rocana is the only one I trust now. You know, I think that the failures of various lawmakers, people that we had a lot of faith and hope in really damaged our trust toward these institutions, toward these lawmakers. But you're right. I mean, Roe is really proving himself to be someone who is willing to do what it takes to actually accomplish things on behalf of the American people, and I love to see it. I really do. So I want to keep an eye on that story, see if the coalition actually forms,
Starting point is 02:03:07 if it really accomplishes anything. But just the willingness to face reality and work with people across the aisle that you share common interest with is a good sign. So we'll see where it lands. Anyway, bonus episode is next. TYT.com slash join to become a member. We'll see you there.
