You ready to go?
Welcome back to the Zach Nichols podcast.
The behind the scenes this week is Fowl.
It was bad.
I'm here with the co-host, the Big C.
Alex. More importantly, Uncle Polly's in town. That was a great. That was a great applause.
And from one Uncle P to another, thank you for being here, bro. Thanks for coming to Detroit.
I know you're a Florida guy now, so this weather might not be ideal for you, but we appreciate it nonetheless.
I was just telling Pierre, I actually kind of love the cold weather because I don't get it anymore.
So like that brisk air is amazing. Like, I've thoroughly enjoyed my walk this morning. So I, I've thoroughly enjoyed my walk this morning.
And so thank you guys for having me.
I mean, you guys are family at this point.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, dude.
It's official.
Anytime we can have somebody like, and Michael, if you could look back and see what the
official episode was that Pauley came.
I want to say it was like seven or eight.
But we're talking single digits is when we started doing podcast together of the Zach Nichols
podcast.
One of the founding fathers of the Zach Nichols podcast.
Michael's going to let us know when he knows.
But thank you for being a big part of this program.
Yeah, dude.
And I just have the first fan question is,
when you work out, do you just play like, you know how like people listen to like rain to
sue them? Do you just have like soundtracks of like creatures getting like killed in the woods?
Like a whole hour of just like coyotes killing rabbits in the woods and that's what Pauli works out to.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's that.
That's it.
I, I listen to the serial killers describing their murders.
Like that that really gets me going.
Just Dexter without the.
Who's your favorite serial killer?
Favorite serial killer, man, I would have to say it would definitely be the, fuck, I don't know his real name.
Edward Ramirez.
Is that it?
The night?
Fuck.
Is it the zodiac?
Is that the zodiac guy?
No, not the zodiac guy.
Although, you know, Zodiac guy definitely a Scorpio.
Yeah, I'm a Dahmer guy, to be honest with you.
Domer?
Yeah, just because he was making, like, human sandwiches and going up to his neighbor being like,
I made you a sandwich.
Something like ultimately creepy about that that resonates with me.
That is that is ultimate creepy.
Yeah,
I don't know what this guy is talking about today.
What did you do?
That is ultimate creepy.
Whatever.
Oh,
so you know what I watched on Netflix?
I watched the first season of you.
Okay.
Where he would just lock people in his bookcase down seriously.
That explains it.
Penn Badgeley,
talented actor.
Not a huge fan of him,
but anyways,
I had to turn it off.
Season two sucks.
But season one,
legit. Oh, Polly likes that show about time travel that you were telling me about.
Yeah, it is. 11.22.
This vibe. You guys run out of 1122. I had to watch it like three times. And you know what?
Would you stop going back in time to see your girl? Or would... Spoiler, spoiler, spoiler.
Fast forward if you're not. Would I stop going back to see my girl? No. Yeah. I'd go back. I'd go back
like every day. Yeah. Like, bro, like imagine having a one night stand every day of your life.
And like, none of the extra shit. You know what I mean?
It's true love. He found true love. And then next question, and I asked Jenna this, we watched it. And when he went back and saw her when she was an old woman. Yeah. Would you take her down then? I feel like you still gotta just to see how it like progressed. You know what I mean? Like you got to sit there and be like, dude, like imagine saying to somebody after all the years, like you get done banging him and you're like, I just had sex with you yesterday in your 20s. And then she has that like moment of like, oh my God. Like you just you do, you do. You. You do. You.
you go back, you do this one like little trick to her, right?
Like first time finger in the butthole, right?
Which definitely didn't happen.
Didn't happen in the 60s, right?
No, no.
And then you do that same trick and she just knows it's you.
And then you just leave her forever.
You just say, hey.
It's like the web bandits.
Everyone has to have their calling card.
So if it's a finger in the rear, that's what it is.
The only thing, though, the stinky bandits.
The only thing, though, is when he went back to the future,
all her whole memory gets erased.
So she wouldn't remember the finger.
So she would just think she was just a wild-ass younger dude.
Just a cat in the sack.
Yeah.
Just a cat in the sack.
Did it get erased?
Because remember when he actually stopped the assassination and he went back,
the kid who he saved from the family being murdered remembered him, remembered seeing him.
Oh, yeah, that's true.
Wow.
Yeah.
So.
All right.
For us that are not watching it, now I have to watch it because I want to talk about it too.
but we got a lot to discuss.
Yeah, we do.
So much to discuss.
We're going to bring Polly back for another monster episode.
We're going to get an update on your life in the next one.
But today we're talking reality TV.
I wonder what we're going to talk about on the next podcast.
Buckle your seatbelt.
So we're going to talk about Vendettas, episode six.
And then we're going to talk traders, Survivor, and House of Villains,
which for the life of me, I don't understand why you have not been on that show yet.
because if there was a reality show villain between 2015 and 2020, it was you.
Like, you lead the charge there.
Yeah.
I was there for it.
The motherfucker was number one villain.
If there was ever a show built for you to dominate on and off the field, it's the house
of villains.
I'll be honest with you.
I just watched it, you know, for the first binge opportunity.
I'm watching it.
I'm saying, look, Paul's great.
I think they got the wrong Paul from season 8.
Yeah, I mean, fun fact, I was in the final rounds for House of Villains and Traders.
Last year in the casting process, they went with Paul for House of Villains.
I don't, they didn't go with a big brother or challenge anybody on the men's side for traders.
So maybe they just kind of were like, we're tired of these motherfuckers.
They went with Ian instead of you, actually.
But my next thing is, what's crazy is you were the villain.
Another villain that's been on that show got you canceled from reality TV for some time.
So I really think like if your resume should speak for itself at that point.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm the villain that other villains couldn't handle being in a house with.
Like I'm the villain that other villains could not handle my villainry.
Exactly.
Your favorite villains hated villain.
Episode seven.
Since episode seven, round of applause for Paul.
So, but right now, we are.
are going to hop in the time machine and we're going to go back to tony time let's go back to tony
time real quick you were supposed to be on vendettas i was supposed to be on vendettas i broke my ankle
the night before flying out and uh they didn't replace me they wanted me to still fly out but i was
trying to push them and be like hey i might have a really good social game and this would heal in like four to
five weeks. So I could kind of like play like I suck and do whatever. I said, but if there's like
something physical right out of the gate that could eliminate me, I may be a liability. In hindsight,
I kind of wish I still did it because Rogan died. And I would have been there. But yeah,
they literally called Victor and Corey last second to make that trip. And yeah, the rest of it played
out the way it did. Victor had a great role in this episode. And honestly, I like watching Vendetta's
back because now that I know you and know,
how you play. I like to think of what it would have been like if I went into a game not attached to
somebody that you hated from the season before. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's true. Because you weren't
really attached, but it just, see, it flushed out that way on Final Reckoning, to be honest with you.
And in all honesty, the hatred that you sent my way, I don't even think that was warranted.
No, it wasn't. It wasn't. No, it wasn't at all.
watching back, everyone came out to me.
It was like, hey, everybody's voting for Polly.
And I was like, okay.
Yeah.
I couldn't afford to go into a living nation rounds with fucking Satan's asshole as my partner.
So I was just like, listen, cool.
Well, I mean, you didn't like Natalie either.
So it's like, I came in and like I feel like on Vendettas.
The dynamic would have been different because I would have came in as like one of the boys.
Yeah, you were Natalie's partner.
I forgot that's who we're talking about.
Yeah.
No, Natalie's partner, I was not a fan of Natalie.
Actually, more so Natalie wasn't a fan of me because as you watch in
vendettas, I just screwed her over time and time again and talk shit about her the entire time.
But, yeah, so, but, you know, it all happens for a reason.
Anyways, Pierre, back to your notes.
Yeah, well, this episode starts off with Sylvia.
She wins.
She gets this power.
Polly, what do you think of Sylvia just as a person, as a competitor?
What do you just, I just like your opinion on these types of things, man?
I like Sylvia.
I've always said that I think Sylvia is.
