Welcome back to the Zach Nichols podcast. I'm here with the Elimination King. Still, still the elimination king. He never used that. He was harder than a, okay, the big blue chew, harder than a rock in that elimination run, especially afterwards. I might have, might have got some action that night.

Because all the blood from his, from the thong that the harness created, got pushed to his nether regions. So he- A lot of, a lot of nether regions. He had to go take a cold shower after that one, guys. Did you not? No, I did not take a cold shower.

I thought you did. No, I did. Oh, no, that was for fun of it. You just got bathed in barbecue sauce. That is more accurate. Yeah. That is more accurate. Got all in the crevices.

elimination, pinkies, whatever. We talked about it last week. Those scissors were dull. Mm-hmm. You know what I'm saying? We can sharpen them up. She looked good. She looked good back then. Listen, her and Lisa both look good. Always.

Stop it. They do. They absolutely do. Next up, we had Tori and Cam break down this elimination from what you saw. Jordan talked about it a little bit last week. We did talk about it a little bit last week. And I think Tori protected her health in this elimination run. Not saying that had Tori given her all of her, all the gas in the tank into it that she would have won.

I think she came out hot and beat Cam. but she felt Cam's strength in the second one and was like, listen, I can't win the half-milly. So why am I going to go 110 right now? Which I do understand to an extent. Are you going to, like, injure yourself, potentially break a rib, a wrist, a finger, you know, for the week? For, yeah, for a weekly check. Yeah, I mean, I get both sides. I get, I totally understand.

Derek had something to prove. he wanted to have his Glyath moment. He got it. We see that later on. But like I didn't see 100% effort from Tori. She was, you know, she was on vacation with her boo at the time. Like that's what that was about to her. She's there getting the check.

And also like there may have been a little bit of like, hey, are you the one strong female to female? Like, I'm not going to take this from you. There's also probably this aspect of Cam, which is like, all right, cool. Like I didn't realize we're really about to scrap right now on the first. one she gets whatever she gets physicaled i think physical yeah like you you know how you get woken up a little bit yeah and then cam was like okay like you got it i'm gonna bring it now i understand i understand it now i get i get yeah i get the assignment and then yeah torrey must might have felt that and cam's first elimination so i don't think she was 100% like prepared for the heat that was about

to get brought to being around both women i'll tell you right now they are the way that cam explains it going it basically going against herself that's legit you know they're i would say they're both about 5, 9, 510 in that range. But in very similar stature. So Cam just needed to know, hey, actually get physical. Yeah. And she did. And she was able to win.

And I think Tori was like, do I really want to break an arrest on this one? No, thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So there's literally glitter on her face before she goes, but Cam is a badass and gets it taken care of. I do have to say, I only know Leroy and Cam personally as these two people who are in love

and sharing life together. but it is really sweet to see how much Leroy cares about her even this early on in their friendship, which was really cool. Yeah, I got to see the courtship. It was pretty cool. Like, Leroy just absolutely worship the ground. She walked on. Yeah.

The one thing about Cam that pissed me off this whole season, though, was we had to be ready. We had a call time. We had to be in the living room. Cam was notoriously 15 to 30 minutes late to every single call time. Like clockwork? Like, we were always waiting on Cam. And I like, I mean, me and Cam got along great this season. I didn't think that we would end up being.

as close to friends as we are now because, you know, she lived in New Jersey. I lived in Michigan and she was a rookie. You never know if rookies are going to stick. But, like I said, Cam got the shit end of the stick for a lot of things all season. She got, she saved herself out of this vote and then she gets thrown in. So it's like, yeah, you know, I looking back on it, technically she could be thanking everyone for throwing her in because it created, it started to create the legend of Gila Cam. of Queen and Killicam. And, yeah, she does her thing.

Next, we have the Derek and Joss, which we've talked about several times. Is there anything else we want to add to this scrap? I mean, I couldn't have been happier with the result. It was an emotional roller coaster for me because I was like, okay, good. Joss is going against Derek. And then I'm like, but Joss still is much bigger than him. And then the longer it went, I like, the human side of me took over.

And I'm like, I feel really bad for comedians. hearing and getting Josh thrown into this. We're orchestrating this beat down. Yeah. And it wasn't even, no, no. Like, let's get it straight. Joss beat the living hell out of Derek for most, if not all of it. And Derek just, Derek was like a pit bull that locked his jaw on that crazy eight and would

not let go. And Joss was stomping on his face. He was slamming him into the ground. He was, I mean, he tried to win straight up for a while. And the longer it went, the dirtier. got and Derek every everything that Josh did he would just be like is that it is that it and what ended up happening was like after they'd get thrown out of the ring joss was getting up slower and Derek was bouncing up and sprinting back to the center to the point where you were just like

at one point they were like kind of contesting this elimination where like because like Derek like outsmarted him but like you know you watched this tape and he clearly outsmarted him, but like we didn't know. And people were complaining about it. And a producer literally said, Joss's arm, because I think he actually tore a bicep is so injured, he's not even going to be able to compete.

So like he lost. Yeah. And it just his, his performance, Derek's performance in this reminds me of that meme where the girls like, if you want to stop me, you're going to have to f***, yeah, from the Ozarks.

Yeah. One of the greatest characters ever. That's literally what it was. And I think, Derek said too like I mean my kid's gonna watch this someday and I want to teach him a lesson. Shout out Derek Jr. Yeah. And I mean, he took, I mean, it was every, I mean, people were like, talk about how long it took.

I think it was every bit of an hour and a half to two hours. Which for those of you guys who watch MMA, those guys kill each other for 15 minutes. Now multiply that by seven. It was brutal. Yeah. It was actually brutal to watch where like a lot of times I was like, I don't even want to watch this anymore. Yeah. Like they were like, like Derek had a cut over his eye.

bruises all over the place. I think he might have broken a rib or fractured a rib. Joss, like I said, he had a, like I saw him. So the day after I got taken to do interview. And as I was going into do interview, he was coming out. And his arm was in a sling. Like, it was one of, it was, I'm not even going to say one of, it was the most brutal elimination round I had ever seen.

And I know Jordan said it was two dummies going at it. But like, Joss is in his first elimination round. And like, what is Derek supposed to do? He did what he had to do. He wore him down to a point where he was like, okay, mentally he's kind of checking out. Let me, I mean, what else was Derek supposed to do to win? He couldn't get it out of Joss's arms because he's in a situation where no one would think any different of him if he lost. I'm going to be honest with you.
