I truly believe that the main reason people don't actually go after their goals and make them happen
is because of this one simple thing.
This thing that everyone can relate to, it's that feeling when you tell someone the incredible
things that you're about to do as your New Year's resolution and then you don't do it.
Stop telling people about your goals.
Why are you telling people about what you're going to do before you've even done it?
Well, I'll tell you why.
because the dopamine you get from telling somebody that you're going to make something happen
is way, way bigger in the moment than actually thinking through how you're going to make something happen.
And that's why a lot of us fall short is because we have this idea, we have this thing we want to make happen,
and we are so eager about it that we want to share that eagerness and that passion with other people.
But what happens when you do that and you share it with the wrong people is, well, you don't really have the motivation to go and do it.
And it's funny because in my life, every time I've given an idea out and I've been like, I want to do this,
I actually haven't been met with that much hatred or opposition.
Most people have been very, very supportive of me and saying, yeah, go out and do it.
And that has hindered my ability to actually execute things.
It's almost like, oh, I got the validation that I was looking for.
And then I just don't make it happen.

Via Rail, love the way.
All of the good things in my life that I have wanted to make happen.
for example, whether that was moving to a new city,
going on an awesome road trip with my best friend from Poland on the East Coast,
visiting Europe, working with brands, doing video content and art,
being able to interview people on camera.
I didn't tell really anyone about it.
I just did it.
And when you do and show instead of tell,
well, you are able to execute so much more.
You're able to make so many more things happen.
So I want you to think, 2025 is right around the corner.
You probably have things that you want to do this year.
You have things you've been holding on to for a long time,
whether that's getting back in the gym,
whether that's figuring out how to start that business idea
and start drop shipping.
Not really.
But you probably have something that really resonates with you
that you really want to get done.
Stop telling people.
think through it yourself.
Talk to yourself about it.
That's the person who's going to make it happen.
Even if you have an idea that requires someone else to get the ball rolling with you,
you have to be that initiator.
You have to be that person who's going to go out of their way and make it happen.
Because ain't nobody coming to save you.
And no one's going to come and hold your hand through it.
So you just got to make it happen.
You have to sit down.
You have to think.
You have to internalize that feeling and that thing that you want to actually make happen.
Because if you do it, if you don't do it, nobody will.
But if you tell people and keep yap in your mouth, then it won't freaking happen and you're going to be done.
It's just another year is going to go by and you're going to be sad.
You're going to wish that you did something.
So make that shit happen.
If you need someone to believe in you, I believe in you.
But don't tell me what the idea is.
I don't want to know.
I want to see it.
I want to see it.
I want it to be a product.
I want it to be a video.
I want it to be a YouTube channel.
I want it to be whatever it is.
I just want it to be a thing that you can show me.

Amazon presents Jeff versus Taco Truck Salsa,
whether it's Verde, Roja, or the orange one.
For Jeff, trying any salsa is like playing Russian roulette with a flamethrower.
Luckily, Jeff saved with Amazon and stocked up on antacids, ginger tea, and milk.
Habaniero?
More like habanier, yes.
Save the everyday with Amazon.
Because if it's not that, then it's just an idea and you're going to be another person with an idea
where you could be somebody who has proof of something and has done something.
Even the smallest effort towards your goal, towards your idea, that will compensate.
and make you work harder for the next step.
So take the first step, and the first step is stop telling people,
please make it happen this year.
