I used to be so scared of those animatronics at Chucky Cheese.
What the heck was, why?
Why would anyone do that?
Why would somebody create an animatronic?
Then you got Scott Cawthon, who made that whole five nights at Freddy's FNAF stuff.
That is the most insane nightmare fuel I've ever witnessed.
I went and saw the FNAF movie not too long ago.
I think it was like a year ago, and I know the next one is coming out.
And I thought it was kind of Schmidt.
I'm not going to lie.
I was not scared as scared as I was watching the game.
plays of the FNAF universe. I'm not like a huge FNAF head. I definitely tapped into some of that
Matt Pat lore that he was dropping because those videos at the peak of Fanaf were insane with all the
Golden Freddy lore, all that stuff. Man, I loved that. I just appreciate when something has
really good lore. Law is beautiful. I think if you're a human being, you should aspire to build
lore within your life. And I think that I have been a little bit, um,
stagnant with building lore in mind.
Like, I've been comfortable,
and I've been really comfortable for a while
because I kind of know what my routine is
and what is expected of me,
and something in me is telling me to flip it entirely on its head
and just go and try something different.
Lore is built from experiences,
from thought-out challenges,
and from life.
And I think that a lot of people,
there's this quote,
I love, and I reference it all the time, that some people pass away, you know, in their 70s,
and some people pass away in their 20s and live to be 70. And I just don't want to become
complacent. But I am right now. Like, I want some Fanaf lore in my own life, dude. Maybe I need
to build a Zerky animatronic. Hot, Lalka, Tazarka, Shau. You know, maybe I got to do that.
but man do you feel like your life is exciting like it's cool and not even from like a comparison to
like a travel influencer that's in like borah borah or like you know turks and kakos every weekend like
do you feel like your life brings you excitement in the way that you wish it did because right now man
i just like it's it's chill it's cool i'm very grateful for it i'm in the mountains right now in
Colorado and Cripple Creek and it's beautiful and I'm like oh my gosh it's awesome but like I've been
here no squid games I've played these games before so how do we make our lives exciting we have to
romanticize it you know the reason those those games were so good is because people
romanticized the lore and there was this cryptic aura
to having to figure out things about, you know,
Bonnie and Chica and all these, you know, animatronics.
Like, I want the same in my life.
I want to have not the visible, like, scars,
but I want to have the nicks and knacks to show, like,
oh, yo, like, he's done some cool stuff.
But then again, who is it for?
Is it for me or is it for some other person?
Because honestly, when I talk to people,
I don't really talk about myself that much.
I love to learn.
I love to ask questions.
And I'm kind of used to people not really asking questions or giving a stigma about me, and that's cool.
Like, you know, but is it an egotistical side of me that just wants to seem cool to other people?
Therefore, I want to, like, uproot my life and change it so much.
I was going to sing the Amongas theme song.
But I don't, I don't really, maybe, maybe it is.
Maybe it completely is.
But lore makes humanity great.
you watch like an arsenal versus spurs fixture not because it's two teams but because there's history
and they don't like each other and they play like they don't like each other because it's deeper than that
and in the same sense like i want my own north london derby in my own life maybe i got to make some
enemies do you ever feel like that like maybe i got to find some people to be my enemy so i could
build some lore against them. Or maybe I'm my own enemy. Maybe I'm my worst critic. I definitely am.
I'm definitely someone that just will, I will just listen to the worst parts of me that want the
worst for me and I'll be like, oh yeah, you're right. I do actually want to stay up until 4 a.m.
No, I don't. I have been better about that, though. I will say, I haven't been staying up super late
And it's actually been very, very good.
But, man, I want, I want more.
I want more out of life than this.
I want more.
I want more.
Real ones will know.
If you know, you know.
Yeah, man.
Maybe the solution is in front of me.
Maybe it's as simple as just interacting with more people.
Putting my mind to projects that are more challenging,
actually calling my grandparents instead of in the back of my mind being like I should call them
because they're pushing 80 and they're going to, you know, they're old.
Maybe it is being more spontaneous with my love for people.
What?
And getting them a gift once in a while.
You know, surprising them.
These are all things that make life so good.
And when we become very domesticated in our routine and in our life, we think that we just forget about these things.
When we don't have them, we yearn for it.
And the minute that we have some kind of freedom, we immediately were like, oh, we need to have a routine.
Like, oh, my gosh, if I, if I'm not organized, if I don't know where I'm going to be or what I'm going to do or who I am, then I'm cooked.
instead of just like, let's go with the flow for the one time.
Let's just figure, let's see what happens.
Your bro's like, yo, come visit me in Ohio.
All right, I'm there.
Let's see what's up.
You know, one of your other homies says, hey, do you want to go finger painting?
Yeah, why not?
You want to go ice skating after?
Sure, let's go.
The lore is built on spontaneity.
It's built on doing and not saying that you're going to do.
And I think that's a lesson that I've had to.
to learn this year is if I want to just make some stuff happen, I can't yap about it and I just
got to do it, man. Come on. So what are you going to do? What are you going to do to build some lore in
your life? What will be your, you know, Freddie Fasbears pizzeria of your life? Like, what are you going
to build that will make it a little more exciting? Because life is boring, man. It's pretty like
Cut and it's pretty dry.
Like, you wake up, you go get a $20 breakfast burrito, maybe, or you'll make eggs with
turkey sausage and some saracha.
And then you drink your coffee that you make in a curing, and then you go work or whatever
and go to the gym and run out of swipes on dating apps.
And that's your life.
Like, come, we got to build something.
We got to build something.
You got to have something that leads you and makes you look forward.
to existing in your life.
And this is actually bringing up a conversation that I had with one of my friends who I'm not,
I don't really have contact with her anymore, but she was such an inspiration to me
because she always had something to look forward to.
She gave me this piece of advice and I'll never forget it when we were hanging out
because I told her, I'm like, hey, you're out of college.
This is when I was still like a sophomore or junior at UGA.
I was like, you're out of college.
Like, what advice do you have for me?
What could you tell me about just the adult world?
And she was like, Zerk.
Frozen lasagna, medium power, 15 minutes.
Sounds like Ojo time.

plans for yourself to look forward to.
And that just like, something about that hit me of like, why do I not do that more?
Why do I have this rigidness when it comes to the patterns in my life instead of just being
like, if I can do it, I will do it.
If it calls to me, let's figure it out and let's find some kind of way to make it happen.
And I think the culprit is always fear.
Fear is just that thing that likes to hold you.
And it's the worst.
It's the worst.
Oh, man.
Maybe I need to just make plans to see the next five nights at Freddy's movie.
I don't know.
Maybe that's the meta.
But, man, build lore in your life.
Build lore.
You know, they say that an interesting person is someone who's interested.
that will always be the sign of someone who has a lot going on in their life.
And they might downplay it.
They might be like, no, no, no, let's move on.
But if somebody is really intrigued about you, they know ball.
They know ball.
They are interested because they're probably interesting themselves.
And I would urge you to learn about their lore.
See where you guys have common ground.
See if you guys are actually a lot more similar.
than you think.
I miss being around more people that excite me, that are just cool, that are nerds, that are geeks.
And that's something in this new year that I'm really considering is how do I bring that
energy and that understanding of like I want to spread my wings, talk to more people,
consume more good information that isn't going to, you know, rot the good neurons in here.
I think a part of it is
surrounding yourself with people with lore
well we all have lore
you probably have lore you probably have things
that you can talk about experiences that you've learned from
and no matter how good or how bad
it's all valuable in some kind of sense
there's something that you can give to another person
as like a nugget of information hey
take this chicken nugget dino shaped
of you know something I went through
that might help you in a situation
share with people.
Because we get
a FNAF series
or a Chucky Cheese
when people care
and they want to build a story.
And if you don't have a story in your own life,
I feel like that's such a beautiful opportunity
to build it.
Because what do you have to lose?
You don't really have much.
Like, dude, make something up.
Make something up that's completely, you know, random.
And go after it.
like I want to live like a monk in, I don't know, a monk temple.
Okay, dude, go do that.
That sounds sick.
Or I want to go work on a farm in Europe for two months.
That's awesome.
Or even if that's not a possibility for you, what can you do in your community?
Like, are there any cool people in your community you can shadow, you can talk to, you can
befriend?
Build lore.
Do fun things.
Don't put yourself in harm's way all the time.
Sometimes you're going to have to.
You're going to have to get tested.
But if you can do something that you know will bring some kind of value or make your life a little spicy, why would you not?
Zerkees Show.
Today's episode of the Zerkees show is filmed in Cripple Creek, Colorado, here in the beautiful mountains, Colorado, Estere State.

The choice is yours.
If you want to tap in, these are the best ways to tap in.
do the things that bring you joy
romanticize a place
go there
get your heartbroken because it's kind of Schmitterton
I felt that way about New York
I was like oh my gosh New York is going to be like in the movies
and then I went there as a 14 year old
and I'm like there's trash everywhere
there's rats in the sewers what is going on
and then I fell in love with it again
because I was like this is sick
this is actually really really cool
romanticized things get your heartbroken
it's good and it builds lore
If you're trying something new, just know that I believe in you.
And as always, Zirky Show, I am sending you lots of love and peace.
