Starting point is 00:00:00 I feel like a boomstick should go to Lorena Wevis. Okay. We're talking the first boomstick, and I think it's well-deserved, making a climb that say sprinters can't make it over, and this girl owned it, waxed it, second-leaders jersey, and so far, unless somebody's going to call in right now and say it got taken away from her, she is our first yellow jersey winner. So, boom-stick, Lorena Wevis, you deserve it.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Move of the day. Move of the day. Oh, move of the day, too. And we are back. Welcome back to the Moog podcast. I'm Lance Armstrong, joined by Mari, Holden, who's on the mend. I'm on the moon.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Got the hot tea, you know, honey in there. I'm trying it all. I love this, though, real quick. Can you just move the tea for a second? Look at this. This is how Mari makes notes. This is her notes. It says shit list.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I mean, who in their, that's a minute. That's actually great. And she's the sweetest one of the bunch. Exactly. Do not get on Mari's shit list. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay. And, of course, the real shit starter.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Alacin Tetrick down there. And Alan, of course, is we put him in time out. We've got Mel Hinkapi going to join us sort of virtually, telling us every day what we did. None of us want to try to pronounce French. But Mel, what happened here on stage one? Stage one from Lausanne to Lausanne. Okay. Lozanne to Lausanne.
Starting point is 00:01:42 I feel like we could have done that one. I was going to say that. If there was one day that you could have let us say it, it was today. But she did make it sound better than we would have. We could have done it, but. And who doesn't love a little redemption story? Right? All right, Lorena Wevis.
Starting point is 00:01:59 We talked about her yesterday, went in the first stage. Stage of the Giro, clearly some miscommunication, I guess, with the mechanic and they weighed her. I'm assuming they're weighing her bike as we speak, was not relegated, was disqualified from the entire race and redemption. Incredible. Second Grand Tour this year that she's donned the leader's jersey on stage one. Guaranteed her bike is being weighed right now. For sure. Her mechanics double and triple check that.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I'm curious if she's riding on one by today or not. I don't think so, though. I would venture to say she's never going to have that happen again. Right. Right. And she will be riding tomorrow by the UCI headquarters. So if we see a little bird flying by, we will know what. In a yellow jersey.
Starting point is 00:02:49 In a yellow jersey. The very first yellow jersey of this Twitter France fam of Beck Swift. With probably the best nails out there, too. Nails. We got it. We have a snapshot of the nails. Yeah, we do. Of course, we talked about her nails over the years.
Starting point is 00:03:00 She never disappoints with the nails. I love it. Yeah, a lot of work goes into that. Got the aura ring on there. We all are wearing her orator rings. And she is just like us that way. But her nails definitely steal the show. And Lance, like you are very perceptive.
Starting point is 00:03:18 I mean, you're really in tune with a lot of things. Okay. Where are you going on? You're noticing my decorating the bookshelf. Yep. Well, that was easy. And you notice Lorena's name. like first and foremost all the time.
Starting point is 00:03:30 So, well, it's a big. It's a big deal. These are storylines. I love storylines. Um, exciting. I thought it was an exciting day, but some of it for the right reasons, some of it for the wrong reasons, uh, had the early breakaway. Um, a lot of crashes.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Um, some of them, uh, sort of self-inflicted. I was also concerned just with the road furniture. And we've talked a lot about this since this is a, is a factor in cycling now with, with, the races being in Europe and Europe, you know, having different strategies for managing traffic when there isn't a bike race. I was, we were watching the finale. I'm like, what? Just these constant dividers, divider.
Starting point is 00:04:12 And nobody's standing there, alerting the riders. I'm like, this is, this isn't, this is going to be a problem. Like my spidey sense was like, and sure enough, and yet that was our eighth crash that we saw there. We counted eight crashes. Yeah. I mean, I think that, yeah. And normally there is an official or a policeman or somebody.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Somebody with a flag and a whistle. And they're whistling and they're in the ring, beep, beep, beep. And you think it looks silly, but you need it. Yeah, I mean, I would think especially in the last part of the race when everyone's going full on. That was pretty dangerous coming into the finish. You know what I think is also interesting is the average person would probably say, come on. I mean, you guys are in the middle of the race.
Starting point is 00:04:53 You're totally focused. there's noise all around. Is that really going to help? Like, are you going to hear that? Are you going to see that? And you all know this. Like, it's, you become so focused on that and so alert to that noise of a whistle and looking for a flag.
Starting point is 00:05:09 It does help. I mean, it's a simple person there just. Well, and the fact that it's up higher. And so when you're down in your drops and stuff coming into town, totally focused, like you're saying, having someone standing up there making noise and everything, you see it through a peloton, not just. not just a little sign on a post. I mean, and they knew it was dangerous,
Starting point is 00:05:29 otherwise they wouldn't have put shit on, or stuff on the post. Ooh, yes, that's a shit list for Mari. Oops. It is on Mari's shitless. I see it there. That's because Mari's so nice and she wants to keep riders safe. I mean, I suppose, look, it wasn't uphill finished technically,
Starting point is 00:05:44 so that, you know, you could say, you know, that the rider's potentially going slower and these impediments wouldn't be an issue. but I mean, it's still an issue. But even coming into the finish, what was it, two or three K to go? There's road furnisher. I know they're going uphill, but they're going mock gas and there was a crash. Yeah, yeah. Like they're losing some hitters there.
Starting point is 00:06:07 They were going hard enough that some riders lost time. I think we talked a lot yesterday about Paula Blasie. And perhaps this is, you know, and I also said yesterday, this is the type of finish on stage one that I would just hate. right out of the gate, an explosive stage, the potential to lose time, which is not ideal. And she did. She lost eight seconds. I mean, Anna Vanderbringen, too. Another big name.
Starting point is 00:06:35 There were time gaps. I thought Demi Bollering looked great. Pauline was there. I thought she looked less great. But she's staying on the same time. And it was the first day of the race. and she doesn't have as much racing in her, like... The big three we talked about, all on the same time.
Starting point is 00:06:56 So Cassia was on the same time, Pauline, and of course, Demi. Demi, the interesting thing to note. And Halle, you've got some tidbits on this, but she did get third. So she gets a four-second time bonus. Yep. And there are apparently other time bonuses throughout the race on intermediate sprints. Yeah, so every time bonus, so every stage finish, regardless of it's mountain top or flat, everything. So every nine stages, we have.
Starting point is 00:07:20 have 10, 6, and 4. So time bonuses on all stage finishes, I assume, except the time trial. And Vantu? Vantu has time bonuses. I hate it when they do that. That's insult to injury to me. I don't know. Oh, that because you like to climb.
Starting point is 00:07:35 You get up there first. Why do you get 10 extra seconds for not having the burger? I'm just asking. I think you get there first. You get, yeah. But this is something we can look forward to in future stages on stages 3, 5, and 6. there are going to be three places. So stages three, five, and six,
Starting point is 00:07:54 there are going to be time bonuses of six, four, and two. So little hotspots that could kind of shuffle around GC that could be points of contention. So that'll be an exciting way to see where the brakes form and who wants to control those possibly very important time bonuses. So stages three, five, and six, we have six, four, and two seconds up for grabs. And then every stage finishes.
Starting point is 00:08:19 10, 6, and 4, minus the time trial. I'm assuming. Yeah, I don't think so. Oh, no way. Wait, whoa, wait, though. Excuse me. Let me ask this question. Why do you get a time bonus for finishing Von 2 ahead of me, but I beat you in the time trial?
Starting point is 00:08:34 And I don't get 10 seconds for that same effort. You time trial? Never happened. I would also be fine with that, too. I just think historically anywhere in the sport, they haven't done it for time trials. And they have done it on mountain top. Although it's not that common, they're, they're a year. I mean, there were years in my day where you had, um, big time, 20, I think there was one year
Starting point is 00:08:55 as 20, whatever that is, 2012 and eight or something that even in the mountain stages. Um, so hate it. Yeah. I do. I really hate you're on the record with that one. I hate mountain top time bonuses. Like I said, if you don't eat the burger, you don't need the time bonus, but there's that. Mari, what are your thoughts on time bonuses on mountains?
Starting point is 00:09:15 No, time bonuses on mountains. I mean, I think it makes it interesting. For someone like Kacha, it probably is great to have a time on us up there, you know. And also, I think for PFP, too, like in the sense of if she loses time in the time trial and she can get any back on the climb, then it's awesome. Give me one of the time trial. Yeah. Well, that would make it less interesting. That's true.
Starting point is 00:09:37 We have two abandonments today because of our eight crashes already. I know. Both from UNOX. We did see today that FDJ announced that Red Bull is one of their major sponsors of the team. So Red Bull going into women cycling. I think it's just to get to cool validation. Well, and with bringing Kate Courtney too, you know, and then doing the whole, you know, bringing Red Bull in,
Starting point is 00:09:58 I think, you know, for development in general, for the U.S., especially, having someone like Kate moving over to road racing and, you know, validating how cool, cool it is to all the young women coming out at NICA and all of our mountain bike programs, I think it's awesome. We need to get more than five, six women in the tour from the U.S. That's got to be a goal. Okay.
Starting point is 00:10:19 On it. You're not into that. I'm totally into that. I'm totally into that. No, I'm 100% into it. What made you think I wasn't? You kind of dismissed it a little bit. Not at all.
Starting point is 00:10:28 No, I was. He's on an agenda. He's wondering about his tea time right now. Anti-American. You know, I am the boogeyman. You are like the captain. Kim LaCourt. Kiss Kim LaCourt.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Every time you look out, every time I look up, she's at the front of the bike race. She's an amazing bike racer. I mean, incredible. And she's just coming back from a big crash in the classics. So she was one of my picks. She was, and she got second today. I think that she's got a stage in her, definitely coming up in this tour.
Starting point is 00:11:00 She's a hell of a bike racer, of course. First African stage winner of any tour. No. I still thought Longo Burgini looked really good. She positioned herself really well the whole day. I think she just kind of missed it when Demi went. And then, yeah, what do you think about Demi's attack? I was hedging yesterday because I am a fan of Pauline.
Starting point is 00:11:25 But there's something, I don't know, I think. And I touched on it, but I think Demi looks good. I think, and if you were just looking as I was studying the helicopter shot, you really, I mean, you can see the riders. And maybe Pauline was sitting up. She said, look, I'm in this front group. I'm not going to win. I'm not going to get a time bonus. All I have to do is stay in contact so I don't get gaped off and lose time.
Starting point is 00:11:54 Dimmie looks good. I mean, if I, if I, but Pauline knows that. Like, she's not, that's not going to be a surprise to her, right? She's the big three that we talked about are all right there. I'm sure they all looked around and saw Lorena Wevis and thought, oh. I was surprised when they sat up when Lorena, Webus makes this. They still had what, like 600 or 800 meters to go before it flat. I think they realized she was there and that was it for them. Yeah, they all looked each other and I felt like they started smoking a cigarette.
Starting point is 00:12:25 But Lance, let's talk about your favorite jersey. Okay. Which is the polka dot jersey. Yeah, we do have a storyline. Listen, I don't want to, I'm not going to, I'm not going to, my, uh, resistance. to the Pocodat jersey. The resistance. For the Tour de France femme. And so there is a sweet story. So tell us a story. And I am in full support of it.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Well, we have a young 24-year-old French writer named Oceon, which is also a beautiful name. It's like Ocean. And she's on a tiny French team, one of the smallest teams at this race called La Petit Enterprise. Okay. We needed Mel. Yeah, we did. We needed Mel for sure. But, you know, so she is dawning the most.
Starting point is 00:13:15 like, you know, a famous jersey on a French team. I'm looking at her up, you know, not a lot of results to mention, but she's out there in a break from basically kilometer zero, give or take. And she gets to wear a jersey for a few days. And I think that's an incredible opportunity for a small French team. Yeah, you have the podium ceremony. This is all on TV. This will be in Laquip tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Like, this is what they come into sport to do, right? Not just the writers, but also the sponsors and the. the entire team. So yeah. And you can see what it's doing for, you know, the young French up and coming generations because there wasn't many, there weren't many French riders for a lot of years who were doing very well. And now all of a sudden, you're seeing, you know, young girls coming up and doing better. And I think it's, yeah, it's awesome. Yeah. Today's show brought to you by Pioneer Pastures. Honeystinger, anybody who's gone out on long rides know that what you put in your gut really matters. Honey Stinger has been fueling endurance athletes for over 25 years. I've been around with them for most of those 25 years.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Real fuel, not candy dressed up as sports nutrition, and they're right up the road and over the hill in Steamboat Springs. But they aren't resting on their loyles and have just launched two new incredible products, the electrolyte gels and the 100 milligram caffeinated shoes. Starting point is 00:15:51 You were talking as we were watching about, because we touched on this during the men's race, and of course there was so much discussion about Paul Seishas being 19 years old, which was incredible and is incredible. Youngest writer since 1937. But you had done some digging on the youngest rider in this race and the oldest rider.
Starting point is 00:16:12 and then you have some other follow-up there. Yeah, I'm not trying to, like, steal any of Spencer Sunder here, but you do know me well enough, Lance, for, like, I don't know, 20 years, and I am a big dork. Yeah. No, I know. Massive dork. I know.
Starting point is 00:16:25 But I was diving in. So we did watch Mavi Garcia. She races for UAE, win a stage last year. She had that horrific crash a couple years ago during the tour. She won the stage last year at 41. She is racing this year at 42. So that is our oldest rider. She spanned.
Starting point is 00:16:42 lovely person. Our youngest writer is also 19, weird, pulsatious, and we've got Paula Ostice. Also, she's Spanish and she races for movie star. So she won the juniors nationals for Spain and then signed as a stagiar at movie star, and now races there. But then I dived in a little deeper. So you were talking about this too, because if you look, like, I think what was the stat, like how long Paul would wear the white jersey was like seven years.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Seven years. He's eligible for seven years. So the men's Tour de France, the Tour de France, the Tour de France, Evec, the men, is U2,5, so under 25 years old. So if your race age is 25. The Tour de France Femme of X swift is U23, so race age 23 years old. So there are 26 eligible riders in the Tour de France Femme of XWift out of 147. And the Tour de France Femm, Avec the Men, 41 riders out of 184 riders. So that's...
Starting point is 00:17:40 41 out of 180 or under 25? Uh-huh. Wow. Yeah. So that's 22.3% of the men's field is under 25 years old. And 17.7% of the women's field is under 23. Yeah. So it's kind of hard to play with those numbers because we could start pulling in 20 under 25, but we're talking about the white jersey.
Starting point is 00:18:04 So I stuck with who's eligible to be considered the best young rider. And I don't know why. in the women's, it's under 23. I actually like under 23 versus under 25. It would be nice to have it the same as the men, though, because it doesn't really make any sense for the women to be younger than the men when women develop later than the, I mean, women develop later or race at their best at an later age than men. I mean, men typically earlier.
Starting point is 00:18:28 I suspect the men's races will go sooner than later, will be U-23. It has to be. I would think. I mean, that's what we're talking about. I mean, these guys are getting younger and younger and, you know, I mean, it was a, year or two ago, Tade was, it's like, no. Yeah, it's going to go. The women are leading the way. We are leading to win in this one. Boy, Lozanne showed well. Damn. You all, yeah, y'all were watching the race. I was looking at these houses along the lake.
Starting point is 00:18:57 Yeah, you were going to buy us our next team house. Well, I didn't say I'm buying one of those. I said, I'll take one of those. I'm sure those go for a few Swiss francs, but it was gorgeous. I love it when a start or a finish town just shows off. That's why they come, you know, want to be a part of events like this. And I thought Switzerland really won. It is by all accounts or by what you said, I don't know, National Swiss Day or their Fourth of July. They're independent. It's hard to imagine Switzerland ever got.
Starting point is 00:19:29 They've already, anyways. But they, yeah, they were a big winner today too. It's gorgeous. Except for the traffic control things they have at the event. Maybe they need to work on that. But maybe, like, the Swiss just assume everyone abides by the rules. Olympic capital of the world. It has, the last time I hosted a tour de France, a vect the men stage, was July 9th, 2022.
Starting point is 00:19:50 So the men have finished there recently. They did host of start of the women's tour de Romandy. But they did a beautiful job, I thought. And also, you saw them pass that Olympic capital. You like that, Lance. No, I know. And there's probably some really cool stuff. I mean, I don't know, like Jesse Owens.
Starting point is 00:20:08 his shoes or something. You know, that would love to go tour that. And you still want the lakehouse. Yeah. Short drive from my lake house. We'll be there for the summer. You want to dive in tomorrow or you got more? I do.
Starting point is 00:20:23 I do. By the way, Mavi Garcia rode pretty well for a 40, you know, we're talking about 42 years old. Like this is. I want to also. I could still be racing. She's older than me. She was 12th on the day.
Starting point is 00:20:32 She lost a few seconds. I think some of the stuff too, you get gapped off. There were crashes. That crash at the end. certainly could have gapped you off. I think that Marlon's crash was pretty bad too. Like when you saw her go down on that curb, she flew over her teammate and hit on her hip. And she's never had good luck at this race.
Starting point is 00:20:51 So hopefully she's okay because she has a chance for that jersey after the time trial. Yeah. Let's look at stage two. Okay. All right. Let me see here. What's our total vert? A little bit of a lumpy day, right?
Starting point is 00:21:09 And this, Ali, is this intermediate sprint is actually a time bonus sprint or nothing? No. So those don't start yet. That's just for the green jersey. So this is technically our flattest stage of the tour. So this is classified as a pure sprinter stage. So this is the one we thought is pure wevis.
Starting point is 00:21:31 So I think tomorrow she is no problem. Charlotte de Kuhl was my other pick for just. today. So we're looking to some categorized climbs, five categorized climbs all in the middle, third, but they're not particularly sticky. I love how when we look at profiles or talk about courses and say this is considered the easiest stage or a true sprint stage. Look, I'm looking at the elevation game. So for you folks sitting at home who ride your bikes and whether you ride in Texas. It doesn't matter where you ride. I am always counting like vertical elevation and that sort of is one metric that I really look at. Still a 6,000 foot deck.
Starting point is 00:22:15 Not easy by any way. So all your folks at home like, oh, this is a chill day. Okay, why don't you go pedal around and climb 6,000 feet? Let me know how chill it is and then field sprint at the end. It's still lumpy. And the intermediate sprint is actually on an uphill. It's on a kicker. So, I mean, we'll see how that. There's no time bonus. No time bonus. So it's purely for the green jersey.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Lorina. I feel like Lorena is going for it. But what's interesting, anything, tomorrow, we do start from UCI's front door. So Lorena just gets to show off her bike again. Maybe she has a different nail colors or uses specific expressions. No, she won't. She'll be great. I'm surprised they didn't ask her about that at the finish.
Starting point is 00:23:03 in the interview, the official interview, they didn't ask about that. Take a good point. She stayed at the Giro for several days and fed her team. And then she did a huge training block. I mean, she was going through some demons. But the last climb tomorrow crests 47 kilometers from the line. And what I think that we should look at, and Lance, you're always better. You and Mario are better at this than I am.
Starting point is 00:23:27 But the final 8K, it goes along the lake, the look. and I'm thinking, I mean, the wind, I looked at it this morning, and you guys are usually a little better at that than me, but the wind, it could be when you're driving in 8K to go on the, ideally on the course description, this is the most pure sprint we have, most pure. It's the straight. I mean, there's no turn, but, but they're still going to, you're going to have these. Some wind. You're going to have traffic furniture or road furniture. And possibly wind. You could have wind.
Starting point is 00:23:59 I haven't looked at the weather, but. But there's no, you know, there's no sharp corners. It just, there's other factors. Yeah. Yeah. A lot of self. It caused a lot of their own issues, too. Some of those.
Starting point is 00:24:12 Self-influed. And then while there was the one, you know, 40K to go that just. Australian national champion. Yeah. Yeah. That was bizarre. We just crossed the wheel. Well, look like she was trying to get something from the other side, like a bottle or something or a music bag over across other people.
Starting point is 00:24:30 Yeah. Yeah. And she looked like she was trying to get something from the other side, like a bottle or something. lost your front wheel. Well, I do think, Bulge takes very good care of us. You know, everyone knows Dave Bolch. So I think this is like stapled down
Starting point is 00:24:42 so I don't hurt anybody. I thought you were going to give it to him. And I'm like, for what? No, but I feel like a boomstick should go to Lorraine and Wevis. We're talking the first boomstick, and I think it's well deserved, making a climb that said sprinters can't make it over.
Starting point is 00:24:58 And this girl owned it, waxed it, second leader's jersey. And so far, unless somebody's going to call in right now and say, got taken away from her, she is our first yellow jersey winner. So, foam stick, Lorraine Owebis, you deserve it. Move of the day. Move of the day. Oh, move of the day too. First yellow jersey, redemption story. Yeah. Hell of good nails. Yeah. Yeah. We're a fan. Good job. Like we did, and I didn't do a great job of the yesterday in the preview show of making sure you guys have the number of So the call in number, there it is, for the voicemails. Call, let's leave us a voicemail.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Say whatever you want. You know, may or may not play it. I can't, I would love to hear, so I don't listen to these things. It's my husband's personal phone line. Yeah, Blaise is out fishing right now. He will probably not pick up, but you can try. 970-7-182736. Boys, that is the same number as the other tour?
Starting point is 00:25:59 Yeah. Okay. That's the same. number. So there it is. 9707182736. We have a voicemail today and then we'll, I don't know, we'll do two or three going forward. All right. What do we got? Hi, this is Ken from California. I've been a long time fan of you as well as Allie and Marie and was wondering what you guys think of who might be dark horse stage winners this year. Maybe one of the smaller teams, like to hear your thoughts on that. I'm going to go.
Starting point is 00:26:27 All right. Go ahead. Okay. Sweet and savory. We're like Sour Patch Kids. over here. Lance and I are more sour patch kids. Mari is like the equalizer. Oh, that's sweet guy. Are you? I mean, no, I'm not. You know what I meant.
Starting point is 00:26:39 Just go. Give us a dark horse. Dark horses, I think what we can really be looking for is a Kristen Faulkner. I see a good chance for her to win. I have a couple stages picked out for her later, maybe a stage five or six. Zoe Beckstead are my two picks that are going to be incredible finishes. Those are my two that I see happening. I think Allison Jackson always tries to get in a break.
Starting point is 00:27:05 So on those flatter stages or less hilly stages, I think, you know, if she gets in a break, there's a chance and she's going to do everything she can to get in one for her new French team. And she was in between the field and the break today. There was a couple of Canadians kind of floating out there. I was going to say Kristen Faulkner, too. I think I haven't tracked it that closely. She's obviously coming off. you know, a couple seasons ago of just incredible, incredible seasons.
Starting point is 00:27:35 So, but also busy. Yeah. I know she's super busy. As she should be, right? You're the Olympic champion. Yeah, I'd love to see her. But she's got the nose. Like she's the nose for the rea.
Starting point is 00:27:45 You know, she always finds a way. Wasn't right when we were talking about her yesterday. Gosh, my friend. I don't even know this lady. My girl from last year, the two stage ones, the glass. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Squibble. Squibble.
Starting point is 00:28:00 I'm going with squivel. For sure. Yeah. She looked at today, she looked like she was smiling. I think she's just, she's going to be a heck of a racer. I don't know if it's like there's enough like uphill finishes for her. We'll see. Plus her team.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I don't know. Are they going to let her go? Well, maybe they would just. Oh, yeah, they have. Yeah. We don't know. No. All right.
Starting point is 00:28:23 Well, call us and leave us a voicemail for future episodes. Of course, you got now eight more days to do that. Anything else, ladies, we covered tomorrow stage? I did see a very funny. Not a funny, but I saw, and I know, no, we're wrapping up. This is going to be funny. Me? No.
Starting point is 00:28:44 So I saw this quote from, now she lost eight seconds, but we were talking about Paula Blossie and wondering what the leadership is like on that team. And they asked her this morning and she said, well, I've got like two sides of the coin. We don't know. I know what my role is. I'm very clear on my role. I'm here for the experience, blah, blah, blah. She goes, the road speaks, but the roles are clear.
Starting point is 00:29:06 I'll be here for them. I was like, ooh. No, the road does speak. Yeah. I know it does. I mean, the road sorts out these things. Yeah. Especially the road, Devon, too.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Yeah, we'll see. You will see. And I did hear that they might have to change that route. So we will, the fires. We are going to have to stay updated. That's down, that's some scoop. Yeah. We're, I didn't want to really, because we're not going to know until
Starting point is 00:29:30 Tuesday. There are, there are, there are a few ways to go up Alptawez. I'm sorry, Montu.
Starting point is 00:29:37 There are also a few ways to go up to us, but that would be, okay, that's a, that's a big scoop. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:43 That's too bad. Yeah. I mean, on every level. I think we'll still be able to finish up Von Tu, but it might make the
Starting point is 00:29:50 stage easier, like flatter, leading into it or shorten the stage. So we're going to, and I think they make the final decision on August 4th.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Okay. So we'll keep a praise to that. I don't know if that was the right word. If they still have to go up, Vaughn, too, from Malo San at the bottom, that's, that's fine. I mean, that's not, it's like it'll matter. Yeah. And, I mean, fires are serious. If you had to go up a different side.
Starting point is 00:30:18 No, the fires in Europe and the heat, the heat wave over there is very, very serious. By the way, I just checked the weather. Lausanne's going to be hot tomorrow, 90 degrees. So you start this heat starts, I hear the heat's coming back to Europe. So. All right, everybody, thanks for tuning in. We will see you tomorrow for stage two of the Tour de France fam of X-Swift. All right.
Starting point is 00:30:38 See you tomorrow. Bye.
