What if your virtual reality video game is now a virtual reality bedroom? And I won't get too graphic, but this is a Patreon only, so it's not super public. But what if you have the ability to mimic the very sensation of having sex with another person? But you're not having sex with another person. It's really no different than, or is it different than porn? And most people, given the widespread use of porn in the church, most people are, you know, nobody, I know the church says it's right. Like it's okay, but they still are much more prone to use porn than to

Starting point is 00:01:22 have a full on affair with somebody else because, oh, that's, it's just different. It's like, okay, I can watch it. It's right there. I messed up late at night. It was just, you know, was tired, was lazy, whatever. And I've got on porn. I feel guilty, whatever. But I did, but I didn't go out and like sleep with a prostitute. Like it's, we would see as categorically different, right? Or is it? That's an interesting question. Okay. So what, what do we do or how do we view VR sex? Are you, if you go and engage in VR sex, virtual reality sex, maybe even all the way to having an orgasm. And yet it's still just a video game. It's still just kind of like porn on steroids. Like, did you actually have an affair? What does the Bible say about VR sex? The answer to that is nothing directly really, but until we build a coherent,

Starting point is 00:02:12 constructive theology of what sex is, I don't think we will be able to address things like VR sex with any sort of cogent compellingness.
