THESE GUYS! - DEATH ROW SCHOOL LUNCH + FALL FITS + SNICKERS GOAT CANDY? | These Guys! 205
Episode Date: September 29, 2026Is a Snickers bar actually a magic power bar containing healthy fats and essential energy, or did your dad just gas you up at 8 years old so you'd play better in the second game of a Little L...eague double-header? We are back in the clubhouse today making the ultimate case for Snickers as the avocado of candy and admitting that we're both empaths who feel genuinely heartbroken for the unworn shoes in our closets. We recall the tragedy of elite NFL cornerbacks falling off and going to the Steelers for 2 years (Patrick Peterson) We relive going to your homie's house with an older brother who had all his friends over which felt like hanging out in an All-Star locker room with LeBron, AI, and Carmelo Anthony. Then we talk cliché post-college jobs—from Enterprise rental car salesmen and cold-calling life insurance reps in an Applebee's to corporate quarter-zip guys and Instagram-verified realtors pitching "two-story ranches" in Carmel. To close things out, we construct our ultimate Death Row high school cafeteria last meal (featuring Wednesday Papa John's, country fried steak with extra gravy, and those legendary unbaked freshman-year chocolate chip cookies in thin plastic bags), we pay homage to Chiller for walking into lunch with zero money and leaving with $100 in cash, and debate the most unforgettable ESPN ticker moments in television history🤝 *JOIN THE CLUBHOUSE DISCORD*TG CLUBHOUSE https://discord.gg/7X63C4HF8y📬 *SUPPORT THE SHOW*Hit us up on the email line: teamtheseguys@gmail.com🎧 *Listen to the full pod*https://open.spotify.com/show/0DCF4F4r78p0eXiD3fyh2Lhttps://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/these-guys/id1649757408🍻 *Follow us on Instagram*These Guys! https://www.instagram.com/theseguyslolBenedict Polizzi https://www.instagram.com/benedictpolizziJoey Mulinaro https://www.instagram.com/joeymulinaroFollow our Facebook Page!https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61579678466463🧢 *50% OFF ALL MERCH with code BALD at checkout*https://www.benedictmerch.com

He's like, bro, I have like night terrors.
I'm just warning you.
And like, so every night I'm like, I can't wait for you to wake up and like scream at the wall.
I'm going to be so, I'm going to be like recording it.
Never did it.
Or maybe I was like, maybe I slept through it.
Not bad for a fat guy.
You hear that upstairs?
Was that thunder?
Is that Tinky Barber or wrong day?
That was Brandon Jacobs, dude.
Is that my call stuff upstairs?
Nah.
I have a dog.
Just my two dumb ass dogs.
that drink was my new nighttime drink me and I've been doing so there's something in it
some pro biotics it's uh it's whatever hell those are they're good for your belly
belly pro bellyotics um gut health right when people say i'm like you couldn't say anything like
a little nicer it's good for your gut it's uh it's it's it's either uh it's either water or
water mixed with magnesium.
You're on that sparkling water.
Magnesium powder.
And then cherry tart juice.
Wow.
That wasn't you.
That was right for sure.
Cherry tart juice.
Guess that has some good sleeping magic in it.
It's a good sleeping drink.
Like, I thought it was a Pop-Tart.
So I was like all about it.
But then the magnesium is supposed to be good for the body and the muscles.
I don't know.
It tastes good.
It's a good substance.
two for it's sort of saying like, yeah, I think I'll have to do a glass of red
the night.
A little magnesium drink.
In the mason jar with the ice cubes?
Good color too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Real refreshing color.
That'll sell me.
I don't care what's in it.
Could be a beach drink.
Well, straw?
You hit that with a straw?
I've been on straws.
Right now and then.
I'll straw it every now and then.
What a special surprise.
Been eating a lot of things with a knife and a fork, too.
Got a theory.
You Castanza?
Clubhouse conspiracy makes everything taste better.
Knife and a fork.
Pizza?
Yeah, so you're being like Costanza.
You eating a dessert with a fork.
You started doing that in the Yankees front office.
You have a Snickers bar.
The fork, that'd be fired.
Fork and knife.
It works on the episode.
Other people started doing it.
His boss is kind of like, what's going on?
Yeah.
How do you eat your dessert with your hands?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, dude.
So then it's actually, I mean, and I've done it.
before. I've done it with the Snickers
Pecan Snickers.
Yes. Pretty solid.
They've got a banana bread one now.
You're kind of the Snickers guy.
I love Snickers.
I mean, it could just be number one.
We're talking top five candy here.
The five of these kids.
Snickers is like a huge, huge argument, like,
could be number one.
It might just be number one.
I don't know if it was just my dad or if anybody else out there
has the same experience.
But growing up,
My dad pretty much had me convinced that Snickers were a magic power bar.
Yeah, same here.
That's just fat math.
My dad would like, I remember vividly being like eight, nine years old, like in between baseball games.
You're like double triple header.
You'd like, hey, there's ice cold powerade.
And I got you little Snickers.
What a treat.
It gives you a little bit of good sugar, good sugar, you know?
That's a thing.
So I was like nine.
I was like, hell yeah.
He's like, this is good for it.
You know.
Not like good for you, but it's like, at this time.
Yeah.
It's a good little replenish.
Yeah, you've burned up in the first game.
It's got peanuts.
Sugar, good amount of sugar.
Nice amount of sugar.
You're good.
Right, right.
And so now, still to this day, 33 years old.
Like, if I'm feeling kind of like a little like, ooh, I need a little something.
Snickers.
This is before the whole campaign.
This is before the whole campaign of, yeah, you're not you when you, when you're hungry.
Yeah, it was before all that.
Same thing happened to me.
dude, we were doing like a 7-on-7 tournament
at Indiana State.
Tire and fake.
Some at the gas station, Speedway.
Two king-sized Snickers,
two Gator-Age. He's like, never know.
He like always had something like
to say, too.
He always had like a witty, like tagline.
I'd be like Snickers and he'd be like,
not me when I'm hungry.
Like he'd always went off during
seven-on-seven too. I'm like, dude's eating
snickers out here?
Yeah.
He's like, it's energy, bro.
Yeah.
I was like, all right.
I trust he weren't anybody.
Snickers is like the guac or the avocado of candy.
It's got that good fat, you know, healthy fats.
I don't know.
Just can't trust it.
Snickers bar.
Snickers bar and ice cold powerade.
You're good to go.
That's it.
Give it a test one time.
Try it out.
You know, one of those times maybe you missed a meal.
Maybe it's, you know.
Meal replacement.
Yeah, you're just, you're feeling a little.
like,
maybe not woozy,
but you got that feeling
where it's like,
I kind of feeling a little low
on the sugar low
and the energy.
Kind of feel a little shaky,
maybe.
People doing IVs
at halftime,
just bang a snickers.
They started putting them in two,
though.
Oh my God.
Nothing looks better in that.
Yeah,
I was never,
I was never really
wanted to branch out
from just the regular,
regular snick,
right?
I was like,
just giving the classic snake.
The king,
OG is so good.
But then I started
trying to
The pecan.
The little almond snickers.
I think there's like a strawberry one too.
Probably.
Really weird.
I didn't know how to feel about it.
I was very welcoming into the family.
Hey,
here we go.
Peanut butter just never hits right.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm like,
leave that to a reason.
It's a little too much.
You already got peanuts in there.
You know,
the,
the snicker is not founded on the peanut.
That's a lot to do with it, though.
But it's not, when you think of Snickers, you think of the chocolate shell, you think of the nougat, you think of the caramel, you think of the caramel, pulling out when you're taking a bite.
The peanuts, just that nice crunch factor.
Oh, okay.
I'm kind of thinking about peanuts when I think about Snickers.
I'm like the peanuts and the caramel.
Like, it separates from like, because like what's, what's a Snickers in a Milky Way?
Like, what's the difference?
You know, peanuts, dude.
Because sometimes, like, I have like a soft spot in my heart when I see.
You walk by a Milky Way, you're like, man, nobody really likes him, you know?
I'm going to pick him on my team today.
You never do?
You ever start feeling bad for like inanimate objects?
I'll be walking by candy in the gas station like I can't look at him today.
I just like that for him, man, we're just a popular phrase and zeitgeist now, empaths.
We're just empaths.
Yeah.
Maybe you said this before, but this legitimately did happen to me.
Like, when I was little, sometimes I,
I would like flip my pillow over the other side because I felt like it needed some love.
See some shoes in your closet.
Damn.
Bro, never even touched my feet.
He's just looking at me every day.
It's okay.
It's okay.
He's looking at the Jordan Forge.
He's like,
maybe today's the day.
Guy doesn't even know him back here.
Start feeling bad, dude.
It's always shit.
shoes, candy.
Dude, I started out.
Man, this happened to be a Halloween night.
Halloween night, you're like...
I ain't getting touched.
You're like, hey, all right, all right, three musketeers.
Okay, let's do this.
I was into three musketeers, like, weirdly when I was a kid.
Like, I was the only one holding it down.
Right.
I was the only one keeping them in business.
Man, good.
Hey, talk about three musketeers.
Four.
Wait, are they, like, high or something?
Like, why are they talking?
about candy for this long.
They're just talking about snacks.
Wee.
Well, it's episode 205.
It's our annual email
episode, man.
Hey, open it up to you,
the listener. I don't know. We're still, we're
getting a good role there talking about the
candy stuff. We ain't done.
I still happens to me, though, feel bad for
inanimate objects that was my son's toys.
It's not even my shit.
It's my son's toys.
Damn, hasn't even touched Buzz Light.
I'm like, man, you were so excited for that on Christmas morning.
Nothing?
And you gave it kind of like one or two go rounds.
You start rooting for it.
Why don't you play with you?
Right, yeah.
Lead them in that direction a little bit.
Yeah, that happens for sure.
I'd be looking at stop signs.
Like, is that thing cold in the winter?
You ever see a stop sign with ice iceicles hanging off?
I'm like,
to brush it off.
Throw a blanket over top of it.
Warm up, babe.
Not bad.
Hey.
Shark tank.
Stop sign blankets.
He did sleeves for signs in the winter.
They need love too.
Hey, but like that way they never, you don't have to worry about them getting covered with snow.
Maybe somebody missing.
It's a very, we're kind of like, you know, really reaching for how much do we really need this.
But at the same time.
Never know.
Maybe that causes, you know, like 1,200 less accidents because people can see street signs,
stop signs.
That ice on bridge sign?
See that in the summer?
you're like,
Mm.
The hell's going on here.
I do do.
Man,
can we get a little,
can we get a little fall fit off here real quick, though?
Talk.
I couldn't wait to put this on.
It's a nice one.
Do you know how good that feels, too?
What a fit.
Late September when this comes out,
probably,
maybe even early October.
No idea at this point.
Might be the first week of October,
but I was,
we came back,
we're out all day doing shit.
We're at the kids' school.
I had the shorts,
long sleeve,
a combo going.
enough to work up just the healthy little good feeling sweat
and the Steelers dry fit long sleep that I had on, right?
So we put the kids down and go to bed and in my head,
I'm like, all right, kids are going to go down,
waiting for Ben to get here.
All that happens,
I'm going to go take all this shit off
because I'd actually gotten past on my shorts and shit anyways.
I was like, eh.
But hey, there you know, it's starting to get real dark.
745 is dark.
I'm like, yeah, maybe a little warm, but I'm going.
I'm putting on the comfy fabletics.
Right? With the elastic coach P around the ankles, feeling good.
Good look, dude.
When helmets match pants, bro.
Yeah.
Nose ball.
Hey.
The Rose Bowl.
Throwback, Rose Bowl, Purdue U-dub shirt.
Best logo all the time.
Let's go.
And then how about the new, new balances that I got on there?
A little bit of old school, a little bit of like Tom Hankson big, maybe.
White socks showing.
Cozy mode, activated.
Cozy mode for sure activated.
Talk about.
Slap my ass with a crispy fall leaf.
Slap my ass, throw me down the stairs.
Slat my ass, put a snickers in my mouth.
Throw me down the stairs.
Wouldn't feel a thing.
Never been happier.
Hope there's two flights.
These guys out of well on YouTube to check that out.
Fits.
Fits, Colt Brennan.
Craziest jersey pole ever on eBay.
Can't believe it was there.
Just one of those I got to do it, you know?
I've been coming across a few of those myself.
Oh, like what?
A few of those that you got to do it.
Well, one.
There's been two in my life on eBay.
Well, yeah, this is two that come to my mind.
I'm like, I got to just do it.
One, PCA.
I got to just have a PCA one.
It's going to be the MVP.
You know, been good to my kids.
I know I'm a good dude.
Mm-hmm.
Who is that?
Pete Carl Armstrong, centerfielder for the Cubs.
Whoa.
him and Caleb Williams are best friends
and he's going to be the MVP
God when guys in the same city on different teams
are best friends
I'm right I know
thank you
and then a Rod Woodson Steelers
Steelers or Purdue's
I got to Purdue I need to get the Steelers
and I wore my Purdue one while I was interviewing him
oh bro I think I remember that
I knew what's crazy what do you say
nothing he didn't even recognize it ever
What?
He like, I'm like, I go down and grab him, walking up with him, kind of making small talk and stuff.
I can't remember if I brought this up on this show, but how would he not?
It was kind of crazy because I was like, you know, you think Rod Woodson and Rod Woodson's like the best athlete ever.
Like the coolest, like hottest looking guy, best athlete, house and pick sixes, taking puns back, right?
And then I get with him there and.
It's kind of hobbling.
Sad to see.
I'll never forget about what you said about Patrick Peterson.
What I say?
Tell me this.
You're like, dude, Patrick Peterson, like, when he was at LSU and, like, with the Cardinals, like, like a major problem in the NFL.
Like, one of the best players in the NFL.
He's on the Steelers?
Not that big of a guy.
Yeah.
How did that happen?
Yeah.
The change up that happened with Pat Pete from.
Yeah.
from LSU first three years of the Cardinals
to when he got to the Steelers.
But even
Pat Pete,
Arizona when he had the visor,
he was 21.
He had the sick
Dion Sanders socks set up
with those,
I'm pretty sure they were
the Dion Sanders cleats,
too.
Like,
he was just looking.
He had the best.
Yeah.
He looked taller.
He's faster.
Yeah.
This guy's unstoppable.
Like in the tallest
corner I've ever seen.
Dude,
gets to the Steelers
wearing low cleats.
No sock get up.
Playing like weird hybrid safety.
I was like,
this sucks.
That's not even him.
That's a clone.
Oh my God,
dude.
It's just cloned Pat Peterson.
So bad.
I mean,
I was so excited when they signed him
because I wanted that for so long.
But Steelers always get D.Bs on the way out.
Yeah.
Steelers,
D.
D.Bs on the way out is like the Titans with receivers.
Like if a DB goes to the Steelers,
it's like,
uh,
probably going to,
move to safety.
Playing a lot.
Playing a lot of nickel.
Okay.
He'll be coming in seven times a game.
Damn.
I hate when that out is.
I know.
Yeah.
It's a sad reality,
but I just realized that.
Yeah.
Everybody always,
nobody's made that joke yet.
Everybody always talks about how Randy Moss,
D.Hop,
Braille and Edwards.
Titans.
Liz goes on and on.
Red gloves.
Julio Jones.
Julio Jones.
Sad, dude.
It goes to the Titans, see, yeah.
And that is DVs for the Steelers and quarterbacks.
Mm-hmm.
Tough.
Anyways.
Both start flying.
Rod Woodson Steelers and PCA.
That's top of my list for sure.
I saw Randall L and I saw this cold brand and I was like, okay, well,
doesn't matter how much money it is.
This is meant to be.
And like the thing on eBay, they're like,
like 18 people have this in their cart right now.
I'm like, oh my God.
Got to now.
18?
Don't buy it.
I don't ever buy that.
Me neither,
but I always do.
Because has it ever like got you before?
No.
You're on eBay enough that I'm sure it has.
Well,
I'm like,
I'll just get it in the morning.
I might be like tripping right now,
you know,
let me sleep on it.
Wake up gone off the site.
I'm like,
nothing,
nothing.
Freak out mode,
dude.
Then you're on Google
and you're like trying to find it.
You find a fake one.
in China. You're like, should I just get it?
Stupid ass.
It hurts, bro. I hate that.
You got any more on the top of your list right now? Is that waiting?
No. Oh, I do, I just,
I just want like a Navy
Charles Woodson, Michigan.
Just like, but I can't find the right one. You know, there's a whole bunch
like new ones, fake ones. Jordan,
Charles Woodson.
Nothing works. I'm like, dude, that's not that.
Like, no. And then the Mitch
and Ness ones like I get it they made it really good but it's like it's still not the same like I'm
trying to get that screen print I know with the Mitchell like the Mitchell and this one I have a rod
Woods and Purdue like it is it's nice it's it's almost like I don't really want to wear this out too
much oh Mitchell yeah it's like one of those like 400 dollar ones those are insane but they're
like actually real yeah like oh my god did he wear this that was a drunk birthday pole for myself
Those are the best
I just gave it for myself
I deserve this
2.30 a.m. Literally
1 teeth so red
I never treat myself
Just had six glasses of one
Yeah
I'm too hard on myself
Just you
Nobody else up
What's on TV
What's on TV
Oh shit
It was my birthday
So it's probably like
No, you're watching like ESPN classic or something?
No, it was like Nebraska, Texas Tech
Have to?
Oh shit.
Yeah, look into that, but Charles was that that would be.
That's like not even for a bit.
That's just a good one to have.
Yeah.
Uh-huh.
Navy.
Come on.
They don't have the, those ones don't have the shit on the shoulder.
It's just straight Navy with two, two, two.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah
Michigan's unis are like
inconsistent like that for some reason
Yeah never know what you're getting
Never know what you're gonna get
All right depends man
Team these guys at gmo.com
Let's get into it
How about Andrews?
Sleepover Sleepwalk
Here we go
Dudes
You're talking about the family
Who said clicker instead of remote
Reminded me of a deeply repressed memory
As a kid I was a sleepwalker
It started when I was about seven or eight
And continuing on for about a decade
One such episode occurred
When I was in sixth grade
and staying in my friend Josh Schenkel's house.
God, what a classic man.
Not a Lansing, Michigan pod.
Hey, friend names.
There you go.
Josh Schenkel?
We all had a Josh Schenkel.
We did, man.
Let me just find out more about Josh here
and then we can decide who ours was.
He and his older brother,
who had a waterbed, by the way,
had the entire upstairs of his house.
With their own rooms, sometimes when I stayed over,
we would go into his brother's room
because the PlayStation was in there,
and sometimes we'd sleep in there too.
And the brother would sleep in my house.
friend's room. We had fun night playing twisted metal and listening to the wallflowers.
And then we went to sleep in his brother's room. Next thing I know, I wake up in the other
bedroom on the floor. There's a sleeping body in the bed, but it's dark and I can't tell if it's my
friend or his older brother. Panic, grip my body. What am I doing in here? Did I go to sleep in
this room? Who was in that bed? I quietly crept out of the room and back to my sleeping bag on the
floor of the brother's room, praying to God that I was clear-headed enough to remember that we did
indeed sleep in the PlayStation room.
I laid awake until it got light enough
to see the face of the person in the bed.
I made the right choice. God only knows what would have happened
if the older brother woke up and I'm on the floor
spooning a Nebraska Cornhuskers mascot stuffy.
Either of you sleepwalk.
It's a real liability when you're a preteened
sleepover. Smank my ass with cops
nightstick that harassed Ben while he was polite
cat calling.
Andy.
Old Josh Schinkle.
Yeah.
And the older brother,
mostly upstairs.
Yeah, that your friend older brother, that's a whole like,
you have to experience that when you're growing up.
The friend's older brother, like puts you on so much game.
That you're like, what?
You just learn some.
What an inspiration.
Yeah.
They're like so scary.
Yeah, this was for me.
Josh Engel?
You're Josh Schengel?
Is that?
Jordan Reiser.
Yeah.
had the older brother.
Yeah, I was thinking about that.
I was like, who's Joey's older brother?
Like a friend's older brother.
He had the older brother.
And then he did have also him and his older brother,
just their domain was the entire upstairs.
Nuh.
Do they have the,
they had the loft?
God,
I remember their house.
I knew I had a loft situation going on.
I never went in.
Yeah.
But I was like,
I think there's some real long.
Yeah.
Many, many of nights,
uh,
spin up there.
Dude, basketball hoop on the roof.
that was insane
I was like they don't do that anymore
yeah attached to the
right above the garage
yeah yeah yeah yeah
yeah did he's like no we don't need
the goal real pole
nah good
go up on the garage
I can't believe
that wasn't against code
I was thinking that when I was
when I was like 13
I was like that's not against
the neighborhood code
yeah but see Jordan's stepdad
was like the guy that just like
he did everything
he was like so funny wasn't he
he was
he was
fuck
Oh my god
He was just so handy
No like
I don't even you know
People who would be they'd be like
It's against code
And they wouldn't insane things
They'd be like I'll Polly just did it
Like he's not causing me
Right
Get away with anything
But
So they had that
Yeah they had all upstairs
But it was a nice balance
Because that's another part of this
When you have the friend with the older brother
That's two years older
Is that if you get in
If you get in
If you get in
it's a nice
safety net
because
you feel
close of them
and you feel good about it
and you feel like
they got your back
but there's also like
that healthy distance
of like
he's still the older brother
yeah know your role
still got another role
a little bit
you know
he'll teach you the way
but it's good
it's necessary
um
gotta have it
no
I didn't
I didn't sleepwalk
thank God
I did you ever have people that
had really bad night terrors and would like scream and shit
yeah Luke Burkart
but I never
I never experienced it
like I spent the night like
all the time with him
like two days like in college
I'm like dude I'll sleep with that like because they had a house
and right by campus and I'd be like dude I'm sleeping here
like for two weeks straight, I don't care.
He's like, bro, I have like night terrors.
I'm just warning you.
And like, so every night, I'm like, I can't wait for you to wake up and like scream at the wall.
I'm going to be so, I'm going to be like recording it.
Never did it.
Or maybe I was like, maybe I slept through it.
But he was always saying it.
And I was like, all right, I'm proven.
Big Dog.
Like, where are they at?
You just bashing your head against a window and I'm not here at night?
Like, when's it happened?
Only you.
Everybody else would be like,
this is a good point maybe I should try to find somewhere else asleep and you're like please I need to see you running through the door yeah is that what that is because I was always kind of like what the hell's night tears I probably have them too I don't know so I experienced it twice do what happened and it wasn't as bad as I'm sure there are varying levels and degrees but it wasn't as bad as I expected it was a lot of
of, I remember one time.
It's like some sleep paralysis stuff.
I don't know.
What is sleep paralysis is when you're like frozen and then there's like weird stuff
going on but you can't,
you're paralyzed.
But there's like a lot of weird things happening.
Did you guys ever, not a reminiscent pod, not a high school football pot,
did you guys ever go away to some random kind of like military camp for like an overnight,
one or two nights overnight and then during the day doing like team bonding military activities?
you guys do that?
Dude, yeah.
When I met Luke Kigley, you mean?
Oh, yeah.
Big moment.
Yeah, so this is probably the same.
You remember exactly where it was?
I think it was kind of out by Cincinnati.
I swear, yeah.
Somewhere far away.
It felt like two hours away.
Yeah.
Barracks where it was just kind of like a cot on wheels.
Everybody had the road.
Oh, yeah.
Same thing, yeah.
Okay.
He was in my 10.
He's going to be a senior house.
was going to be a sophomore.
Blue Burger?
Another A.
This is a great.
Listen,
we give him a hard time,
but he's great.
Like,
he's taken under the wing,
right?
Like,
on two years younger,
he will take,
you know,
guys like me,
video,
and it's like,
cool,
this is good.
We got like,
the all-star linemen
is looking out for us,
whatever.
So you're in these barracks,
right?
And it's meant to be,
like,
a military training
type of situation,
situation.
And so,
at nighttime pitch black.
Yeah.
Like so scary.
So dark you hold your hand four inches away from your face can't see it.
We're trying to scare each other too.
Well, we had we had hurricane.
We did too, but we're still like, we're still.
Dude, our thing like as a class was like scaring each other.
And we had like exly and he'd always be like two.
What was that?
So I remember one night though, I'm like,
I'm like 16, I'm 15, I'm 15 years old.
I'm like rolling around, you know, probably like homesick, you know, just all this shit and everything.
And can't really go to sleep, but then I'm all of a sudden kind of like a woken up because I just hear like,
and I'm like, oh my God, I don't know where he is.
I don't know where he is.
Like I'm staying curled up in my God because I'm like, I think I kind of hear some movement.
I wonder if anybody else heard it.
I don't know, but I remember that vividly.
And then, yeah, other couple of rapids out.
He has sick house.
So, like, everybody's always staying over there.
Damn, I never went.
What?
No, I never went.
Crazy.
Maybe you picked him up on, who knows.
All six, six night tears.
Yeah.
Pretty sick nickname, though.
I hope that that would have hit.
Left Guard, the night tear.
Ooh.
okay there you go you flip it
okay um hey
you're gonna poll
you know follow what makes you
you you
well I'm glad that worked out for you Andrew
that could be a tough situation
I did that but it
like older brothers
Craig Adams
older brother Kyle Adams
crazy tough man wow it's a tough one
dude we had Nolan Bernard over a lot
little cameo by Eric Duncan
every now and then
crazy crazy
Nolan Bernard's in your class
no no no you Kyle
so like I'd go over to Craigs
and like the boys would be
would be there
talking about girls and stuff
what different school
I'd be like this is insane
we're at like an all star team
hang out here
yeah yeah like
you know when it's all start weekend
like AI and LeBron
in the same locker room
I don't know what to say to you guys
That's what when you're at your buddy's house
And he has an older brother
And he has like three or four friends over
That's where it is
I'm in the Eastern cop
Oh my god Carmelo and LeBron
And AI are on the same team
There's chilling before the game
We're just sitting here
We don't know what to say
Same uniforms
Mm-hmm all in here
What the fuck Joe Brittner shows up
Shack
It was like that dude
It was a weird like
Like
Like dude
Who knows
Dominic Phinell
he walks in this bitch next?
What are we doing?
Like so,
their class was so stacked.
I was like,
who knows who's going to walk
through this door next?
Good Lord.
Hey,
Paul Czar.
Oh.
Wow.
Who knows,
dude?
Oh, my God.
I might get a little jakey's hell
every now and then.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
But like,
that was,
that was a crazy,
like,
experience.
Because you're just like,
what are they talking about?
I want to know so bad,
but what are they talking about?
You don't know anything.
Hey,
there's always my thing.
Where are they going?
I know.
And they never really had a destination.
It was always like,
they never said it,
but they said they're going to meet up with like girls,
but they never said where or what or when or like I was like,
okay,
guess we'll see when you get back.
Well,
we'd always be like watching like.
Right.
There's a thousand ways to die.
Right.
That's all you could do.
I had a little sleepwalking incident because they had like call of duty or like a
so calm.
remember that that like war game it was like before call of duty really popped off
PlayStation 2 online they're like the only people that had it like really fast while it was crazy
we played NFL street online there all the time is insane I'm 3,000 years old but uh went from that
room we played video games all night and then they had like a front room we'd watch TV in
and I slept walk from the video game room to like the entry room and I woke up and I was like
how the hell I got on this couch?
And then I went back into
the video game room where I was sleeping
where all my stuff was and I was like, I'm glad nobody
saw that. Who knows?
The old ring cameras around back in the day.
You're paranormal activity.
That's so many good snacks.
Let's see.
Here we go.
Here we go.
It's from Garrett.
Hey, hey, these guys.
We've got 20 clubhouseers fired up to draft
their fantasy football teams.
Obviously,
we're catching up on emails.
So yeah,
shout out to the inaugural
Clubhouse Fantasy Football League.
20 of you.
Insane.
Is that a lot for league?
I really don't know anything.
That's like.
That's beyond a lot.
Let's go.
That's a good feeling.
12 is like good names in there too.
Yeah, 12 is like the sweet spot.
Bed bath and be jean.
That's good.
Ooh.
Hey, definitely not Jordan Rees here.
Imagine explaining that to your, that guy explained it to his wife.
Like, what's your, what's your fancy football name?
Don't worry about it.
The funniest, the funniest part of all this is that, like, I was just over at his house last week.
Jordan Razor.
Oh my God, legend.
Has no idea.
Yeah, no way.
There's no idea.
No idea.
We even have a podcast.
No clue.
he'll never know
it makes it so much better
makes it so much better
A Joe King
No clue either
No idea
Just the biggest stars of the show

your friend and pal
Commissioner Garrett
Thanks for putting that together
commission we appreciate you
we do
Yeah it's like a full-time job
Really is
Dude I feel like everybody out of college
This is a good
This is a good
These guys
Males best here though
Very clubhouse
They're all just like recruiters
but I'm like for what?
It was so confusing to me.
Remember like for a second
everybody had some money like two years out of college
you're like whoa, whoa, is this like what it is?
Me and you were the only ones who didn't it.
I actually did for a second.
Really?
I went to work.
Yeah.
I went corp for a little bit.
God.
Corporate Benny.
That's crazy.
Didn't know what to do.
I would just get like get blasted.
You know, you like still go out.
Mm-hmm.
You go with all your friends.
can finally buy drinks.
I would like buy rounds for people
because I didn't know what to do with my money.
I was like,
here's 12 shots.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's just like,
yeah,
yeah,
where did those come from?
Dude,
that was the best feeling though.
When somebody,
yeah,
yeah,
when somebody's like,
dude,
I don't know,
bro.
And then a whole tray of shots
gets sat down.
And you're like,
oh,
I think I know.
This is so funny.
Those are the best nights.
And then you just get like the,
though you just get crazy food and pass out.
Whoops.
Yeah.
I never did that.
That was,
it really was hot time.
It really was a moment in time because.
Everybody still lives there.
Yep.
That's just what I was about to say.
That was,
yeah,
it was,
we were all either just about 323 or over 23.
So we had all graduated from college.
All the fellas had their first real desk jobs.
And we're bringing in,
you know,
which, you know, and 2015, 2014, you know,
as compared to making, you know, bringing in $5,000 a year.
You're like, professional athlete.
Like I used to have, I had $738 like two weeks ago.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
And so that was all happening.
We're all living here at the same time.
Nobody had a girlfriend.
No.
No.
Hey, your boys were on the prowl though.
Your boys couldn't wait.
But it was just, it was just this moment in time.
Backup plan, dude.
Everything, like, there didn't need to be a plan put together because the plan was already in place.
It was once Friday is over, everybody's meeting at the guy's apartment or house that's close to everything.
Yeah, yeah.
You were doing, you were getting ready.
Everybody was, hey, in our time, at least in my time.
Everybody was thrown on, like, the polo shirts or long-slee polo shirts, khakis.
and like the casual brown dress shoes
Co-loan on
Ready to rip was never me
Dude I thought
I proud
Never me
As I would get was to that
It was like thrown on a Cubs polo
One time for New Year's
One time for New Year's
It was when New Year's my senior year
In college
And that was my Christmas
Where you know you have like themed Christmases
Snipes Christmas
It was my Christmas of like
Hey you're getting ready to be a young professional
So you're getting all
different kind of shit, you know?
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I've got like a couple,
two, three new suits
to pair of dress shoes.
So I was like ready to be a grown up.
Ew.
And so for that in New Year's,
I remember being like,
yeah, fuck it,
I'm gonna fucking wear one of my suits.
I didn't go tie,
but I had it on like my suit,
my nice dress shirt,
New Year's, right?
But most of the time,
I was always like,
summertime,
I just watched the Cubs
were once six in a row.
You guys care if I wear those,
Rizzo jersey?
Oh, hard.
Yeah, I would have never worn a jersey.
I feel like that kind of weren't allowed to like go places with jerseys on.
I kind of felt like that too, but at the same time I was like, I got khakis and like cool
shoes on.
So I just got a Rizzo jersey on.
Like, who cares?
Yeah.
Good call.
Anyways, but that was.
That was the plan.
And then you do that on Friday night and you'd sleep over.
You go your kind of separate ways.
Maybe you'd crash at your buddies, you know, or if it didn't or if a different situation
worked out.
you'd go somewhere else.
And then you probably end up back at that friend's house that next day,
friend,
friend's apartment had like five p.m.
Oh,
nah,
you're a good setup.
So you go to the pool.
Uh-huh.
Keeping this thing going,
man.
Yeah,
we're going back out of the broad.
That night.
Same shit.
Brod-rub, yeah.
Different,
like just 30 minutes away.
Yeah.
The little spot.
And then Sunday,
Hey,
Colts game.
All over again.
And you're fine.
Total piece of shit.
Total playground.
Total adult playground.
And then Monday, all right, cool.
Lock back in.
Yeah, you should.
Easy.
Autopilot.
Go to the gym, you know.
Hey,
you're already looking forward to maybe Wednesday,
a little happy hour.
Thursday drinks.
Lock.
Lock for drinks.
That's such a crazy week.
It was a special time.
It was a special time from like 23 to 25.
Yeah.
And I started falling off there.
But then, yeah, I was one of them.
You start,
everybody starts kind of just.
just, you know, it's like at the end of a movie, you know, when they're doing like,
where are they now situation?
It's like one by one, they're like, you know, Gerbach fell back in love with Sophie.
And we never really saw him again.
You really don't ever again.
That kind of situation.
I haven't seen them since.
Right.
You know, like the end of the sandlot, that should be, you've seen the sandlot?
Yeah, I mean, just because Coach Kay made us doing P.E.
because Coach came in his watch Sandlot and P.
Just because he wanted to watch a windy peppercorn scene.
He just wanted to see Wendy Peppercorn.
Anyways, that's scene at the end of Sandlot where, yeah, Smalls is going back through
and then one by one, the shots at all of them playing at the Sandlot.
And he explains what happened to the Timmy and Tommy, the twin or the brothers.
And what happened to Porter or Porker.
And it's what it is when you can be like 25, 26.
It's the end scene of Sanlott.
one by one.
Bertram got really into the 60s.
Never heard from him again.
Again.
You know?
Tyler.
Tough.
Tyler,
you know,
met that girl from St.
Mary's Notre Dame
and I don't even know where he is now.
I think it worked out for him.
St. Mary's Notre Dame.
The all-girls school.
How does that work?
Never understood that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
A lot of hanging out the football team.
A lot of hanging out the football team.
Yeah.
Yeah, so that was a special time.
Life insurance sales, yeah,
recruiting, yeah, medical sales, yeah.
Medical sales, what a cop out.
It's medical sales.
I'm like, okay.
Like, so when you're a kid, like this was your dream.
Medical sales?
My dad was trying to gas me up on medical sales
And I was like a junior in high school.
He's like, hey, coach Laf medical sales guy.
She talked to him.
I was like, I don't know.
Like, uh,
that's insane.
And then when all else fails, hey, can always become a realtor.
Oh.
Yo, what's happening with realtors?
What is going on with realtors?
You've been to a realtor's Instagram page lately?
I'm like, oh.
Yeah.
verified. Nobody's been more verified than a realtor on Instagram.
Man, are they okay?
Oh, man, that's so funny.
Dude.
You know, that's what happens is that those people are the people who make fun of people
like us and made fun of people like us when we were 24, 25, and like we're doing local
radio.
But they were doing that.
But then now we come full circle, those people also now starting a podcast.
the most Instagram videos.
About the best neighborhoods in Carmel, Indiana.
I can't even listen to that.
Oh, what are you talking about?
Two-story ranch.
Go to hell.
Ranch is one level.
Yeah, bro.
Who knows what I got going on in there.
Oh, shit.
Man, if there was any of our friends or neighboring people
who listened to this show before,
now they're definitely not going to be.
I mean, every job is like, come on.
I know.
It really is.
Come on, babe.
It is funny.
You'll run into some of those.
Like, this happens to me sometimes.
You know, like I was at the Indianapolis Indians game.
And I was doing a deal with them.
So I had a sick setup and,
that night that we were there, actually we ran into these people who I grew up playing baseball with.
And their dad owns some sort of local business.
And so there's two boys and his sister.
They're all grown up now and everything.
But the sister was like, oh, wait, I know him.
I watch his videos, blah, blah, blah.
And so it was one of those situations where then all of a sudden her brothers were acting overtly annoying and like kind of dickish.
Oh, there he is.
He's right there.
You want to take a picture with him?
You want to take a picture with him?
Well, I'm like, oh, yeah, okay.
Yeah.
Hey, good to see you guys.
Yeah, it's been a while.
Like, you're doing it right.
And he's just like, hey, man.
Yeah, no, we were just giving her hard time.
You know, I just hate influencers.
I was like, oh, yeah.
I mean, me too.
Yeah, what do you do?
Oh, a printing t-shirt company?
Cool.
Fuck off.
go slam that down on Monday, bitch.
That's crazy.
But everybody makes fun of everybody's job forever.
Everybody's got their shit and has to do what they have to do to make their money, you know?
But it's like, don't fucking come throw your shit at me when, I mean, Jesus Christ.
Your sister, bro.
What?
I'm just here.
Hey, yeah.
I just threw out the first page.
Okay.
Yeah, right.
Like you said, so when you're 10, does that?
All right.
Right on, man.
Yeah, good deal.
Aldard
A minute
And like
Luckily I've grown up
So man
But damn
If I didn't sit down there with my dad
And I was just like
It's insane
I'm like
Yeah I'm sorry I get to do cool shit
I don't
What's the problem here
Have your fucking chicken bowl
On Monday
And your fucking titty shirt
All right
Titcher for sure
That is like the worst part of that
Like fuck
You gotta wear a quarters of it
My tits look like cones
My teeth look like
Tee
All right C Tee
See you buddy
C Tee Tee
Yeah cone titties
Okay
Ben always gets the uncomfortable laugh going
When I get the Mollinard coming back out
But
Sometimes
Sometimes like you got me going on it
It just reminding me of that shit
I'm like
I think I remember hearing
What fuck is this?
All right from Tony.
Death Row School Lunch.
Nice.
Here we go.
Whoa.
Boys.
Longtime listener,
first time emailer.
You're on death row.
You get to choose your last meal,
but it has to be one
from your high school cafeteria.
What are you going with?
Love you guys.
Keep up the good work.
Slop my ass with a piece of the net
you cut down from winning the little flower holiday tournament.
Oh my God.
Tea Hizzle.
Sent from my Palm Pixie.
Who is this, dude?
That was a...
Little flower holiday tournament.
Kind of a big deal.
Little flower.
Big deal.
Yeah, exactly what the announcer would say.
It may be little flower, but folks, it's a big deal.
Short courts.
Short courts, but also, dude, the...
Dang.
Oh, my God.
Stuff hanging from the ceiling.
This really does feel like Christmas.
Ponsettas everywhere.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
Like, how did they pick up?
this school to do it.
All right.
Death row school lunch.
Your last meal, but it has to be
from high school cafeteria.
Got to rack the brain here.
Like, how many
entrees are we talking?
Is it just one?
He didn't specify.
So I think you're good to
really wild out.
A groundbreaking moment
in my high school career was
when we had like Papa John's
Fridays. Papa John's Pizza
Or was it Wednesday?
Wednesday.
That's why I was so tough because it was on,
it was like,
one today.
Yeah,
I know.
It was a little nice pick me up.
A nice pick me up,
but also kind of like,
you always had practice and sure.
Like,
God,
like this is going to be weighing on me,
but like I can't miss Pop Johns.
In high school,
you got a different like type of hunger.
You do,
but it's still would kind of just like,
is on my stomach,
step outside 87 degrees with 94% humidity.
Like,
yeah,
it's rough.
Just house and half a pizza.
split it with your homie.
$5?
$5 a piece for
four pieces, I think.
Deal.
I mean,
that would have to be
cheese sauce
in pocket.
Yeah.
Cargo pocket
full of cheese sauce.
Then you open it up
all of your face.
Jesus Christ.
That's what I get for stealing
six cheese cups.
So you really,
it's Papa John's.
I mean, it was gas.
If we could pick like three, I don't know what the, what are the rules here?
I mean, I was going country fried steak next.
Yeah, it was mine.
And then Turkey Manhattan after that, like.
Yeah, mine was, yeah, it's for sure country fried steak.
They had something else.
You like chicken poppers then, you know.
Bosco steaks were kind of it.
Okay, so let's do this.
Let's do one, so let's do a full meal.
one little appetizer
one entree
one dessert
all right
main course for me
I'm going country fried steak
I'm getting an extra gravy too
I'm like doing I'm like being
like double scoop of mass
fat lineman friend
lineman friend
yeah
situation
stretch mark situation
side bosco sticks
and sometimes kids
would really be like rich
rich friend would be getting this
like this would be a normal lunch for
him. Rich friend that needs to gain
weight. Nees getting 15 pounds or else
his dad won't let him play football.
Bosco steaks.
Country fried steak
stretch mark style.
Dessert?
The OG
freshman year
chocolate chip cookies in the
thinnest plastic bag of all time.
With the chocolate chips
melted on the inside of it. Did everybody have those cookies?
you know those cookies never had a cookie like that since
what happened to them and then they went extinct
my junior year they're like we change the rest of the
cookies I'm like why you're like why
no one had any any like problem with them
am I going to get salmonella from these
you know what were they all they were yeah what was it
it weren't even baked I was like I don't want them baked
literally someone put two slices of cookie dough in the microwave
I've been put him in a Ziploc bag and I was like
Not even a zip lock
Are you gonna eat your cookies?
Me at lunch
Are you gonna eat that one?
Dude Kevin Monich gave me one every day.
It got me spoiled.
How did he give up one for you?
That's insane.
I don't know.
I think he like felt bad
or like
Not bad for me.
Like he just felt like
I can't eat two cookies.
Like we got practice.
Like he's kind of on it.
I don't know why.
but he just kept giving me his extra cookie.
And every day I was like, it was amazing.
I was trained like a dog.
Pavlog dog you.
He really did, dude.
Every day.
And then when I didn't have it in my lunch the next semester,
I was like,
oh,
there goes my cookies.
I'm never going to find a cookie guy again.
Oh,
he's the only one that would do that.
It was amazing.
Yeah.
Did you ask anybody else from your class?
Dude,
I wasn't even asking him.
He was just like,
yo.
Yeah.
I was like,
ooh.
all right
Chiller doesn't even have them
Dude,
Chiller didn't even bring
lunch or buy it
How chiller is that?
Dude,
Papa John's Wednesday
He'd come to lunch
empty-handed
I feel like I remember
See this
And then he'd pocket the money
for the week
So he just had 20 bucks every week
I feel like I remember
Yeah,
I just like have his book bag on
Just like walking around the cafeteria
I was like
This guy's a coolest
What the fuck is he doing?
Bro.
How crazy.
If I was walking around doing what he's doing right now,
people would think I was literally insane,
like planning to shoot up the whole fucking fucking.
Gotta do what you gotta do, bro.
Dude,
but chillers just like,
yeah,
I'm like,
he's running the show right now.
Dude,
just scraps.
Yeah,
it would end up with like eight pieces of pieces of pieces sometimes.
Doesn't bring her buys the lunch.
Nothing,
just $20 at the end of like a couple months.
It's a hundred bucks.
what's up that's a new pair of jays it's gas money we're going to the mall
i didn't spend money on this shit
you guys are sitting there eating that that's fucking shit you're eating i'm not
doing that dude but honestly he wasn't stealing like he wasn't like doing anything wrong
either so it's like i ate like some people would do that but they'd steal
food so he'd be like you're a piece of shit but he wasn't doing that
so it's like okay can i get him cookies them are bangers though
Girls would be giving up food so easy at lunch.
I was like,
nobody hated school lunches more than girls, dude.
It's like,
shut up.
I know.
Like,
you're not,
you're not starving.
No,
every girl just,
yeah,
just all brought their lunch.
It's kind of like,
if a girl bought lunch,
I hate to say it,
but yeah,
oh,
yeah.
Not one girl in like the hot lunch main line.
They're getting the salad shaking it up with the chicken poppers
are just brought their own shit.
Kind of a weird look.
Like Hannah Kern would be caught dead
in the Penny's pizza line.
I would actually lose my shit.
I'd transfer.
I'm so mad.
Yeah, it's like why we have fucking body issues.
No, but for really, right.
Hey, you ever feel bad for some of those lines?
Talking about feeling bad for stuff.
I'd be like, damn, nobody's getting pizza.
today. She looks kind of sad back there
the lunch lady. I might go just to go grab a little bit
just to brighten it up.
Shit. Yeah, I would go country fried steak
double mashed potatoes.
The craziest two packs of cookies
with a... Two? So four?
Total? Four total. That's wild.
Yeah, with the chocolate shake. Break the cookies.
Oh, I forgot about the shakes.
Oh my God, dude.
Break the cookies up, put them in the shake.
You're a wild animal.
Dude, the people that would get shakes every day with cookies in them were wild.
How rich are you?
I can see all the people in my head right now that you should do that.
Got to drop one, please.
Stephen Elliott.
I'd just be like, you're crazy, bro.
How do you know?
How do you, like, instinctively?
Like, my dream was to do.
do that.
Never did it.
I just,
I got to take a second here because I'm just thinking about this show and the people
listen to it.
And I'm just like,
I really don't think there's another show on the planet where you could,
you know,
have a 50 minute interview with Scott Hanson.
And then the next week,
Aaron,
a month's time and you're just,
where literally this has just been the most high school show of all time.
Like it's so funny.
But like,
bro,
the questions are high school.
I know.
This isn't a reminiscent podcast.
I know.
I just,
I just had to point that up.
This is an all-time high, like, name drop.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Tickers going crazy here.
Oh, B-1 here.
B-1, day one here.
It says, favorite ticker memory,
Bay 1.
Sorry, not B-1, Bay 1.
Fellas, so probably be read after week 1,
but I just want to say congrats on getting through another long football off-season.
Take it all in.
men, we know our quick ghost.
Last week, Ben mentioned ticker memories,
and I just had to share one that instantly pops onto my head.
The night Mike Bibby got traded to the Hawks.
From the Kings?
As a kid, Bibby and the Kings were my life.
Yeah, me too.
King's room, full Jersey shorts combo to school, all of it.
Jersey shorts?
That news was so crazy to me.
I'll never forget it.
It's safe to say my room changed to the Atlanta Hawks pretty quickly.
Clubhouse Conspiracy. Let's take the ticker away to just hype up its return in the future.
Hey, nice conspiracy.
Peace, Perry Weed kid.
We should have a little like a show for Clubhouse conspiracies.
Send a million.
You're conspiracy.
Let's talk.
We'll do a couple too.
I got a couple in my back pocket.
I've been waiting to put out there.
Pretty interesting.
Thinking a few steps ahead of the game.
Yeah.
Work up all that.
Oh, the ticker's back.
For the Super Bowl, you know.
Everything's nostalgia now.
Yeah.
Take it away.
Who's the mastermind?
Take it.
It's up there pulling the strings.
I always tell that it'd be you pulling the strings.
All right.
Mike, baby, the hawks, ticker, etched in your brain.
Dude, this is, I just can't get over that.
That bibby, that baby Jersey shorts combo to school.
That is so fun.
Hey, do you have a headband on too?
How real we talking here.
I don't know if it's just because of the time that we're recording this mixed with this question
and just kind of what's been going on in my head the past few days.
I think the ticker that stands out to me most is when Osama bin Laden got killed.
Oh, that was on ESPN?
No, well, like, yeah, they put it on ESPN because.
ESPN's ticker?
It's at Osama Bin Laden.
Yeah, dude.
I was watching.
It was a Phillies Mets, I think.
That's a legendary tinker moment.
In Philadelphia.
And it was like a random Wednesday night baseball.
It might have been Sunday night baseball.
I can't remember.
It was in May.
But I'm trying to think back to all the different because ESPN used to have
baseball on like three or four nights a week.
It felt like.
But it might have been Sunday night.
But I know it was an ESPN game.
It was Philly's Met.
And I just remember like all you know they kind of started painting the shots in the crowd
I was looking at their phone people were kind of cheering all of a sudden random USA chance started
happening I'm like what was it's insane what a moment and then they started kind of talking about it
on the broadcast but then like as they're talking about it ticker do do do do do but it was you know
it's crazy is when it gets it's such a big story that it's not the ESPN graphic style ticker
it pops up as like an ABC news.
Oh, override.
Override.
ABC news over there.
We'll take it from here.
All caps, breaking news.
You're like,
what is actually happening?
President Obama to speak to address the nation at 11 p.m.
whatever, you know,
and you're like,
oh my God.
United States has captured, you know,
reports the United States has captured and killed a summit of a lot.
Realist moment of your life
Dude, I was
17
It was May of 2011
Yeah, so 17
And I remember being up in my room
Just have this random game on
And I'm like, oh my God
I remember I went down to my parents' room
Because I was like
What did you say?
There's such big deal
I was like yo
Did they know?
Yeah, my dad
They had on
I already had on ABC or whatever
Like they were locked in
My dad is he's a special
He's especially a night owl
I think my mom was ours.
She's already already.
My dad,
like I swear to God,
I don't think I've ever seen my dad sleep.
That's a good dad.
Like,
we'll go on,
you know,
we've seen me and my dad will go on,
like,
he'll come with me to do when I'm doing stand-up sometimes.
Just like go on the trip.
Yeah,
or he'll go to,
you know,
if I'm going to Pittsburgh to do something,
he'll come with me.
Hell yeah.
We're sharing a hotel room,
you know,
two separate,
you know,
we'll have the two queen beds or whatever.
And I,
sometimes I've kind of tested it.
Yeah.
It'd be like 12,
25 a.m.
And I'm like,
I'm holding on.
I'm kind of like,
alright, motherfucker.
Let's,
you go to sleep first.
We're having a fucking sterile.
Standoff.
Yeah,
we're having a standoff at the Hilton Garden.
Oh,
and GSP in all day.
Bro,
is it all of a sudden.
I'm thinking he's making his move to go to bed.
Bro, pulls out a yellow legal pad.
He's got ideas.
Bro.
Just when he thinks it's around,
he's got ideas.
You know, dude,
you know when,
dude,
you know when you're like,
Like, hey, you're.
Never been more awake.
I'm sorry to God.
Nobody's bringing a yellow little fat of anywhere anymore.
Oh, my God.
I know.
No, I like, I'll, I'll be laying there.
Man, I'm cash.
Like, I'm not, I'm not doing nothing.
I'm not on my laptop.
I'm just watching family guy or a game.
Barely on my phone.
Yeah, I'm like this, dude.
And my dad's scrolling on his phone or he's on his laptop or something.
He like puts it up.
I'm like, finally.
All right.
Now you're going.
Yeah.
Now we're going.
does that.
I'm thinking he's making his move to kind of like go brush his teeth or whatever.
Go to bed.
Nope.
Puts the laptop in there.
Op was up the next thing.
Legal pad.
At that point,
I'm like,
fucking fine,
dude.
You win.
Okay.
And then like,
not even thinking about going to bed, bro.
And then he'll be up before me.
That's,
that's where it's at when you're a dad,
dude.
So insane.
He said that one time when we were hanging.
We were like at,
your old house with the pool.
He's like,
as you guys,
I'd make videos all day and night.
I'd never sleep.
I was like,
he's right, dude.
I know.
Yeah.
Got a point.
Do you have any crazy ticker mims?
No.
I can't really think it.
It's tough to beat bin Laden.
I know.
That's not going to be beaten.
You can't beat that.
Dude,
the ABC override.
Yeah,
that's insane.
Bro.
You know what a moment.
Happening.
no yeah comes in like red you know it's typically it wouldn't be that color that it's red like
the life world changing shit is happening here i saw luca on the ticker and i was like i think they got
hacked like i thought the ticker got hacked because i was like why wouldn't this be on and then
all of a sudden breaking news i was like ooh ticker beat him to it mm-hmm um let's go to uh let's go to
let's go to Zach.
Spookiest game nomination.
Inspired by last week's topic,
I have a nomination to submit.
I guess I think he's going off
for our college football preview.
Excuse me.
Birdby, boy.
I love you.
Spookyest game of the year for 2026.
Like this.
Says Wisconsin at Iowa,
October 31st.
Halloween night game
at Kinnick Stadium.
Whoa, unheard of.
Wisconsin.
crispy white away jerseys Iowa home black jerseys
enough said
Q Biddy's saying oh my god
side note Wisconsin's jerseys against Notre Dame at Lambeau
were tripping all of those both of those
slap my ass with Jerome Bettis's rubber yellow elbow pads
said for my AOL email account I still use as my Facebook login
I set up in eighth grade yeah that's a weird thing
you ever think about those I remember my
original Facebook
I probably shouldn't
give this information out
some fucking cybertext
and do what
and do what
with your Facebook
from 09
yeah
but it was still
it was like my
AIMM
was like JNBB's
B2 at Yahoo
dot or whatever
on Facebook
and up until literally
like 2020
that's what my login was
where does that go
what emails are being
sitting there
yeah you ever think
about that
dude
It's kind of I can't think about it for too long because I'm like, yeah, that's...
I got that Yahoo!
I had to tap back into every now and then to like find something.
I haven't gone there and like...
Scary.
Almost 10 years, I bet.
Scary time.
Still on the password.
Weird.
Scary hours.
First email address.
Yeah, I like that nomination there, Zach.
I like that.
I like that category and I like that nomination a lot.
Who else is playing that day?
Yeah, hold up.
I know I'm going to be...
Have I told you this?
Have I talked about this on the show?
Uh-huh.
I'm going to be doing sideline reporting at Penn State on Halloween.
You?
Yeah.
Here for this.
I'm already,
you on the sideline?
I've already asked.
I've already asked.
Wait, for who, though?
We!
What?
They can't make sure they're spiders.
They call it a wide out for a reason.
Yeah.
Um, so it's, I'm doing it, uh, for Purdue.
So it's Purdue Penn State at Penn State on Halloween.
And I'll be for the, uh, for the radio broadcast.
Purdue.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
So I won't be on TV.
But it's at, it's in, the, in Happy Valley.
That's so.
Yeah.
At night.
No, we don't know yet.
Kick off TVD.
It'll be.
It'll be.
I mean, Penn State's a daytime school, but it will probably be at night.
Yeah.
Did you see who's playing?
No, hold up.
I got distracted by you wearing a...
Mike?
Good to have you back.
Good to have you back.
Utah, Cincinnati.
Ooh.
Wait, wait.
Notre Dame Navy, Utah, Cincinnati.
Stanford, Louisville.
Still don't know how to say Louisville correctly.
Louisville.
Miami, North Carolina, I like that matchup a lot.
It's a good, it's a good color game.
Auburn, Ole Miss.
Ooh.
Sheesh.
Pretty Penn State.
Washington, Nebraska.
Arizona State, BYU.
Arizona State, BYU could be a sneaky, spooky game because Arizona State
the devils, BYU is kind of the holy school.
Arizona.
Sun Devils.
Yeah.
Doesn't get any better than that.
Missouri, Arkansas.
like that a lot
SMU Syracuse
Ohio State USC
Halloween
at USC
Nighttime
TBD
I'm not going to know
Until Arizona Texas Tech
Minnesota Indiana
Virginia Wake Forest
Northwestern Oregon
Mississippi State
Texas
Johnson Iowa
Right there
Ooh
South Carolina Oklahoma
Oh Florida
Georgia Halloween
The world's largest
outdoor
Rockdale party.
Florida, Georgia.
That's a heater.
Jacksonville.
Oh, they're playing in that.
What?
They're playing that game in Atlanta?
I thought it was in Jacksonville every year.
Mm-mm.
That's not.
What a match of.
I don't like that.
I like Jacksonville where it's weirdly rainy outside
and it's split stadium with the end zones being blue
and then red.
Who did that with their end zones?
Someone did something with their end zones.
Oh,
they had two separate ones.
Yeah.
Texas A&M.
Is it then?
No, because I could just want it was a blue and red situation.
I know,
but I think it was like not a blue and red school.
That's why it was like,
whoa.
Bum,
but dam,
but dam,
but um,
let's see.
Who do I want to get to here?
Da-da-da-der.
All right, let's go to Eric.
State your name.
Hi, guys, playing Oddsmaker here.
We all love the in-state rivalry football game,
but what state would have the largest spread
between the two state teams?
Try to run through them alphabetically,
giving some highlights.
Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Colorado State,
Florida, Florida State, Iowa, Iowa State,
Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State,
Ole Miss Mississippi State.
One is the left in-in-state, Alabama, Alabama State,
Georgia, Georgia State.
I'm going Texas over Texas state.
Is there even a Nebraska state, Missouri State?
Oh.
He says some not nice things at the end.
He says, drop the hunting bit.
It's getting worm and cringy.
Peace out.
Ev in Pittsburgh.
That's why we do it, man.
Wow.
Sorry, Eric.
What was the question?
We're just going to do it now even more.
What was the question, Henley?
Eric doesn't want us to do it anymore.
Do you want us to do, Anthony?
Anything for you, pity.
Basically, what would be the biggest blowout for schools that are in state?
It'd be Georgia, Georgia State, probably.
Probably.
Indiana, Indiana State.
Hey, hey, yes, a bleeder's on one side.
What?
Really?
Only stadium on one side?
Just made me want to puke.
Nothing.
Maybe they changed it, but like until a few years ago probably, it was just one home side.
Like, looking good.
Other side, nothing.
I was like, I don't even, how did this work?
Tough sell.
Yeah, I was like, why would I, that'd be so weird to bring your girlfriend to the game?
should be like where's the where do we sit so we have to like bring our lawn chairs so like
they sit on with that I don't know like damn even key stadiums got a some side for
that's unheard of to have nothing on the other side unheard of unless it's like a weird
soccer field that you're playing on in like fifth grade maybe maybe yeah maybe they
it was like their bright idea they were trying to go for something different I don't know
like to play on the prairie or something
It's really weird
I think it's funny how like people who
Do construction for stadiums are just kind of like
We'll do what I really want
It's always doesn't make any sense
I'm like who drew this up and how do you get approved
There's seven seats on the on the visitor side seven
Yeah we bring bleachers in every game on the
I'm like
Yeah it's like that unless you play
Unless it's an NFL stadium that you're designing
and now they all look the same with a glass ceiling
and can slide open and has a big round
video board all the way around
and has the same like set up for the suites
all so they can host concerts
and Monster Truck shows
and
Cirque de Soleil in the off season
Yeah, it's Morgan Wall and concerts.
Yep.
basically yeah
when designing NFL stadium
now people are just like
okay I'm gonna be opposed Malone in here right
yeah
makes sense though
on their end but I'm like God
just what would I give just for a football
stadium just sex that's just where we are
and everything's come to that we've smarted
up enough for our own good
you know
just give me a dome
give me a dome with turf and then
just let it be what happens
when we're not playing there nothing
Nothing.
Our best receivers catching kickoffs in there.
That's what's happening.
There's no concerts.
We're 58 years old.
Honestly,
bring back,
like we're all the nostalgia stuff.
We're bringing this back.
We're bringing that back.
Bring back AstroTurf,
but make it safe.
You see an old picture of like Michigan State Stadium
and they got straight AstroTurf.
I'm like,
oh,
the color of it.
Like, it makes me want to watch a game.
Like a ball.
turf. Yeah, that's one of them.
It's like sour apple turf.
Yes. Carmel out. It's good.
What are those? What are those? Carmel apple suckers.
Where are those at right now?
Right. I haven't seen so many of them.
Apple cider been coming through a lot though recently.
It's seeing a lot of apple cider.
I haven't. Yeah.
I see a lot of apple cider.
Seeing a lot of the pumpkin, um, seeing a lot of the pumpkin reesees, that kind of thing.
I have not seen any of those. It's so Halloween.
Yeah.
All right, team, these guys at gmail.com.
Thanks for hanging with us.
We appreciate you.
We do keep sitting them in.
Clubhouse conspiracies.
We're going to get that going.
I have an episode of just that.
The best conspiracy theories in there is we're getting a little spooky.
You know, heading into the Burr months.
Can't wait to walk back to my car and have a seven-foot clown follow me all over there.
Right outside your house.
There's one in my backseat right now.
Can't wait to drive home.
Think about that 15 minutes in.
It's going to be so quiet
Walking out to that car too
All you're gonna hear you all of a sudden
Yep
It's just me
