Starting point is 00:00:37 Plus, John Stamos, Hayden Christensen from Star Wars and more. And I guess I can share that, uh, no way. Listen to the latest episode of Hey Jonas on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast, Hollywood Handbook. Each week, we talk to someone in show business and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, Adam Scott, Danny McBride, Ben Stillard, and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. If your bookshelf and your for you page
Starting point is 00:01:22 are equally important to your personality, welcome home. Pro Society is a weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for anyone who thinks pride and prejudice and Love Island to serve the same level of discourse. Each week, we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and pop culture, with your favorite writers, book talk creators, and plenty of overthought opinions. Yeah, I'm obsessed. I'm obsessed.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Listen to Pro Society on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome to This Is Important, a production of Iheart Radio, the show where we talk about what's obviously most critically, crucially important. Today on this is important. Ten inches of the foulest cock you've ever seen. Give me your mass potatoes. You want to know the truth? I think we're in heaven right now.
Starting point is 00:02:20 Let's go! Yeah, man. This dude just did this. Brat. Disapplied up. It's disgusting. drinking water. Let's talk.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Let's get ready to talk. Let's talk. Let's fucking talk. Are you ready to talk? Dude, some of these other podcasts, they fucking chit-chat, we're here to fucking talk. We're fucking talk, dude. We are boys talking.
Starting point is 00:03:00 Unreal. That's what's different. You know, you see these podcasts and they're just gabbing. They're just gabbing. Not us. We fucking talk. And you know what? It's because we're men of a certain age, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:13 That's right. We take it back to talking. Nobody talks anymore. Yeah, we don't chit-chat. In other words for what I'm about to say, which is talk. Gab. The gift of gab, we talk. Welcome to T-I-I-Talk.
Starting point is 00:03:32 T-I-T talks. And what is one more way to say, talk? It's not chit-chatting or gabbing. I'm racking my brain. I can't think of it. If you're at home and you're listening to this right now or you're in the car, just scream it. Just scream it as loud as you can.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Survey says. We'll channel it somehow. And it is. We're chatting. Come on, baby. We said gab. We said chit-chat. Which I'm going to throw chatting in there.
Starting point is 00:04:02 What is another word for talking? I mean browing down? Broying down. Okay. All right, all right. Guys, take it easy on me. Where is your mustache, you son of a bitch? Yeah, can we talk about what the fuck happened to your face, dude?
Starting point is 00:04:15 You can't say bro down anymore because you... Yeah, you just took 28 years off of your actual age. Oh, my God! What the fuck? What the fuck am I looking at here? Yeah, what is going on? Disaster, my guy. I like it.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I like that. This is so lame. This is going to be so lame. My hair... Your wife wouldn't kiss you with it? It's a little bit of that. Okay. Hang on.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Are you ready for this? So, like, my hair's super long right now, and I hate it. So I want to get a haircut, like, this week. Wanted to get it this weekend. Couldn't get it in. And Emma was like, I like your hair long. She's like, you know, don't love the mustache, but I like the hair long. And I was like, why do you have a mustache?
Starting point is 00:04:56 And I was like, you know what? I feel like it just finishes my face. That's what I said. Yeah. You know, and I'm glad we're just here to talk about it. You're a man of a certain age, so you're Norwegian, you're not finished. I feel like men of a certain age feel like they have to have a dad stash. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:13 And you got some young kids and you want a dad, you want a strong, masculine dad stash to throw those kids on the couch. And I feel like I had it. And maybe take some photos with it. And sometimes they miss the couch. Sometimes they hit the coffee table. And so then she goes off for like a bike ride. She goes for a bike ride. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 00:05:32 I'm in the gym. I'm working out and I go, I'm going to go upstairs. I'm going to shave it off. When she gets back, she's going to be like, what? She noticed it, and then that's enough. That's actually who cares. She was like, oh, huh? I have a Zoom.
Starting point is 00:05:45 The fact that it took her this long to notice your white-ass mustache. Yeah, you've had that mustache for a long time. It's not even notice. It's that she tolerated it, you know. I feel Chloe would have, on week, one and a half would have been like. You would have got papers. What are we doing? Right.
Starting point is 00:06:05 Not even dropping clues. Just gone straight up. What are we doing here? Before we leave the house, I do need to say something. This is grounds. Does your wife ever say this is ground? This is grounds? And I'm like coffee grunts?
Starting point is 00:06:16 What do you mean? Okay. This is, what do you mean? This is grounds. This is ground. This is whole bean. Is it whole beans? What is it?
Starting point is 00:06:24 Hey, sweetheart, this is ground. Are we talking kachava? Hey, hon, your face and what the hair that's growing out of it? It's grounds. It's ground. It might be grass. Giving grounds. Grounds.
Starting point is 00:06:37 And by the way, you don't even want them to finish that sentence because you know what it's grounds for. Hey, you go, shut up, shut up. Don't finish that. And just to make sure she knows you're talking to her, you say, woman. Woman, shut up. And then you just go, and she goes, is that a vibrator?
Starting point is 00:06:54 What the fuck, that's grounds? And I go, no, no. I go, oh, that is. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I tried to hold eye contact. I grabbed the wrong thing. My bet.
Starting point is 00:07:02 I keep it in the same drawer. why do I have it? I don't know why you've never seen it. It's called manscaping. And why it's small enough to fit in a man's butthole. Sweetheart, it's called manscaping. But this is part of it. Forget you ever saw it because that's not what we're doing here.
Starting point is 00:07:18 That's not what we're doing. And this is grounds. This might be grounds. Hey, you're grounded. You got grounded. Is there more grounds? I guess that's a little more grounds. No for Todd.
Starting point is 00:07:29 I'm echoing like crazy. I'm hearing echoes. I'm echoing like crazy. Oh, my God. We're all over the place on this spot. I'm sounding crispy. I blame Netflix. Yeah, it might be Netflix.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Hey, let's talk. It's got to be. Let's talk. Let's talk about it. Hey, this wouldn't happen on Pluto. I'll say it. Hey, if we're on Tooby, crystal clear.
Starting point is 00:07:48 But we're on the flicks. All of a sudden, we got technical issues. Thanks, Netflix. If I was, if we were podcasting live from Fubo, okay. It would be crystal clear, no echoes. I have a lot. tapped in with Fubo in a minute.
Starting point is 00:08:05 I actually, I don't know if I... Did you say in a minute? As in, like, you used to... I don't know if I ever have. I don't know if I ever have. I fuck with Fubo. I watch Fubo Erde. What are you watching on Fubo?
Starting point is 00:08:18 You've got the floor. Local news. Oh. I like... I love local news. Really? K-Cal? You're hitting K-Kal?
Starting point is 00:08:25 I do. I love Kekal 9. It's a bagel 9. I haven't watched the news in a long time. I'm pretty tapped out. I watch local news every day. In the morning, because we don't let Bo watch TV, but, you know, I'm trying to watch the news and catch up on my sports center.
Starting point is 00:08:41 And I go, Bo, in the morning, what do we watch? And he goes, sports and news. Right. And then he says, I love news. I'm like, okay. I mean, he doesn't. You're trying to raise him to be a weatherman. He said news and he had your phone.
Starting point is 00:08:57 He doesn't. You know, he doesn't even watch it. He's, like, really bored when it's on. He wishes it was, you know, Mickey Mouse. Are we watching? Is Mark Brown? Did he retire? Ooh, that's a good.
Starting point is 00:09:09 Is it Mark? No, it's not sure. You know what I'm talking about, though? That's he the black dude? Oh, yeah. Legend. I saw him in person once. Shook.
Starting point is 00:09:21 Oh, shoo. Fully. Dude, those news people, when you see him out and about. Oh, my God. Fuck. They are bigger celebrities to me. Like, if I saw, like, George Clooney, I'd be like, oh, fuck, dude.
Starting point is 00:09:31 That's George Clooney. Holy shit. That's pretty crazy. Clowny. If I saw Dallas Rains, who is the L.A. local weatherman, who is a goddamn living legend. If I see him, I mean, I'm shocked. And I'd have to come to the podcast and talk about it. I kind of want to watch a biopic of Dallas Rains.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Okay. Played by George Clooney. I feel like... Ooh. I feel like that's... That would be hard. I feel like Clooney, it's right there. I wonder if there's...
Starting point is 00:10:00 You know there... Because you know there's... something there. There's something there. With Dallas. Wait, what do you mean? With just, if you don't know, you have to look up what my boy Dallas Reigns looks like and how he I believe we've talked about him quite a bit. Because if you don't know what, what he looks like, he's, he's, he's stunning. He looks like a leather man. He looks like his name. He is Dallas Reins and he's born to do this job. And I, I imagine that's not his real name, right? Yeah. Maybe it is.
Starting point is 00:10:31 I imagine it's not. Sometimes we're born to become Usain Bolt becomes a fast movie. Do whether people name themselves goofy names like essentially porno stars? My local weather guy in Omaha, Nebraska for years and years and years and years and years, Jim Flowers.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Good name. And you don't think that's real. I mean, that's huge. Is it real? Is it real, bam? No one knows. Damn. Damn.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Do we still have, is that real? Mark Stommer. No, well, that's, and it's real. It's real. No, we, I'm talking, is it real, bam? Is it real? We have it somewhere. We have it somewhere. Okay. Well, on the board is where we want to have it. So you can easily push the button.
Starting point is 00:11:13 There it is. Found it. Or we just talked. Or we just talked. We just get back to talk. No, I'm done with the board. I want to talk. I'm sick of all. We know you're done with the board. I'll take the board. I would love the board. I think it'd be over. I think I'd be overboard is what it would be if I had the board. Good movie. Overboard. Good. movie. Great cover. There's something deeper with Dallas Raines that we haven't tapped into. What is his personal life like? Because something...
Starting point is 00:11:39 I don't super Christian. You think? Yeah. I feel like a lot of people in the news are mad Christian. I think he's doing the Lord's work. Why is that? I just, it just feels kind of churchy to me. You're up early. You're dressed in the morning? Oh, dude, I mean, the fucking today show, do you think it's churchy when Matt Lauer has a fucking lock the door button underneath his desk? That's different. Fucking plowing PAs. I mean, that's a little, what's the name of the guy?
Starting point is 00:12:06 What's the name of the guy at the pearly gates? Who's like, you're going to heaven. You're going to hell. There's a guy who checks you in? Yeah, I think it's Jesus Christ Superstar. No, it's Peter, isn't it? Peter's at the game? They gave the jobs to the, uh, Paul?
Starting point is 00:12:18 Paul's at the one of them. Oh, if it's Paul, I'm getting me. The ring goes back there checking the fucking IDs. Me? Me and, okay. I like that. I just took his joke and added to it. Yes, Andy. Who gets the points there?
Starting point is 00:12:33 If Paul is at the gates, I'm getting in. Because Paul seems like a down-ass home. Are we talking Apostle Paul? Are we talking Paul McCartney? Because he's not dead yet. I'm not talking Beatles. I'm talking Apostle Paul. Wings, you are talking wings, technically.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Well, angel wings, brother. That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying. Round wings! Now we're talking. Yes, points. Hey, this fucking Chavez' chava's hidden today. Get Bell Pure Fiber Internet with Crave, Netflix, and Disney Plus from $94 a month.
Starting point is 00:13:10 Price guaranteed for two years on Internet with a two-year term and auto pay credit. Visit bell.ca for details and to check availability. Bell, connection is everything. Can I get serious for a second? Can we do some serious talk? Yeah, shut up. Hey, bitch, shut up. Do you think, this is ground?
Starting point is 00:13:30 Do you think, do you think you're getting into heaven? Yeah You're in You think you're going Dude me? Yes Fucking come on You know what I think
Starting point is 00:13:41 There's only one thing you need to do To get into heaven What? Believe in Jesus Oh okay Christian man Okay Christian man This is my middle name Wow
Starting point is 00:13:52 Dude I'm Catholic I just need you Right before I die I go Motherfuck atone me For my sins And a priest A priest will run in
Starting point is 00:13:59 And be like I'm all the way up You think that's You say bitch you're good Splice some water on me Mm-hmm. It's that easy? Dude.
Starting point is 00:14:05 Why are people going to church if that's all you have to do? Dude, the fact that everyone isn't Catholic, because Catholics, they give you such a sick out. I mean, there's a lot of other bad shit that comes with it. But they give you that sick out where they, you can just be atoned for your sins. And then bingo bingo. At the very end, on your deathbed. So you can be, you can be like a rotten person. And then just on your death bed, you have a priest come in, spray your ass with the water.
Starting point is 00:14:31 Spray your ass. Yes. He's basically running... He's got a tushy up there. You have to believe. You have to believe. Believe in... But at the end of your life, when you're literally dying,
Starting point is 00:14:43 you're believing, right? You're believing. You're all in. Oh, yeah. What else are you doing? Your hope... People... I don't know if people are believing.
Starting point is 00:14:50 They're hoping. They're hoping. I feel like I believe. I feel like I don't pray on the regular. But on my, like, darkest days of my life, I've been like... Oh, that's when you ask for your help? You know what?
Starting point is 00:15:01 I'm going to fire this. swim upstairs and I truly believe in those moments. Well, why didn't you cry about it? You have to look in the mirror, you have to look in the mirror and go, we're worm food and this is it. Just go kiss your boys. That's it. When's the last time,
Starting point is 00:15:16 if ever, have you ever prayed? Not prayed, not prayed on people. Before my, what do they call it, the prefrontal cortex? Definitely before that was formed. Really? This is not, I just, I'm... You're not a prayer guy.
Starting point is 00:15:30 Well, no, we know that. But you know what I believe in? The sun. No. I mean, yeah. I mean, that's, I get that. I do understand that. You worship raw?
Starting point is 00:15:41 I believe the sun set us up. You worship raw. Okay, but we are talking, so that means if you... Son, son of Christ. Done dead. Son of God. Fucking flatlined. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:53 You're not throwing one up. And all of a sudden, eyes of flutter, you come out of a cloud and you're standing there, and all of a sudden there's these dope. That's not how it would come out, first of all. Well, there's these dope-ass, pearly gates. Well, everyone does. Everyone does. Like you smell cookies. I would come out like this.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Okay. I would come out like... I would come out like... Ooh, shit, this is hot. And if you're subscribed to Netflix, you know what that's like. I would come out like the Undertaker, WWF, like, sit up. Look around.
Starting point is 00:16:22 That's true. Choke slam the doctor. Boom. I'm back, bitch. I'm back. I'd be like, ooh. I feel like Paul Bear. Blake's alive.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Blake, you did a wonderful job. That's a modest plan. I shed a prayer. I shed a prayer and he's back. Out, out. RIP. Dude, RIP, legend. So, do you think then they're just going,
Starting point is 00:16:48 uh, no, we're good here, fam, with you? You're a stupid, dumb ass. They're saying, we're good here, fam. Mm-hmm. Um, right? And they send you along, along your way. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:16:58 And then when we're, Blake comes. Blake, do you think you're getting in? What do you think? Do I think I'm getting into heaven? Yeah, when you come. Honestly, I hate to be on record, but I don't think, I don't think a heaven exists, really. I hate to be on record.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Bro, life is a record. Because I know when I pull up to Paul, he's going to pull up this episode of the pod. Just back you up. You said, you talked about it on T-I-I-I. You said there was no heaven. You're not getting in. You're talking, yeah. You want to know the truth?
Starting point is 00:17:28 I think we're in heaven. That's why we're talking. Oh, beautiful. I think this life is heaven. Oh, I thought you meant this podcast, sorry. I think this podcast. This very moment. I thought you meant with the three of you.
Starting point is 00:17:42 The Netflix data towers where we exist and live. Here, let me give you the dopy. I love you guys. Take the doppy. Oh, my God. It's getting bad. Damn. That's where my twin is.
Starting point is 00:17:55 It looks like you have an alien inside your palm. Yeah. Let's see that doopy again. I don't. Dude, I don't. Let's see that doppy trends. We need to... You are so Norwegian.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Also, why did it take Durses' camera so long to focus back up? Because his mustache is gone. Back up. Yeah, that's what it is. Damn. Dude, don't be a dick. Don't be a dick. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a dick.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yeah, no, no, I think heaven is on earth, personally. I think this life... Who said that? I think it was like Louis Armstrong or something. Yeah. Oh, baby. Um, I just... Oh, heaven is a place.
Starting point is 00:18:30 on earth Wow Oh dude That song Wrips Can we replace Sweet Caroline With that song
Starting point is 00:18:38 Please Oh man Dude I was in Dublin Dude I'm so Heaven on earth Talk about heaven Fucking
Starting point is 00:18:46 That Isaac and I were talking We were walking Through the streets of Dublin And we're like Blake would love it here So much Because every
Starting point is 00:18:54 There are so many bars Sleeping on the street Oh yeah Yeah No it actually was The cleanest city and saw very, very few homeless people. It was, and just like no graffiti.
Starting point is 00:19:07 It was like very nice. Oh, okay, now you're talking my own language. And every bar was like, if you started a bar in the 17 or 1600s, it didn't close. It didn't close because every bar. There's not a new bar in that fucking city. Every bar and there's like one every 15 steps is like established 1732. I was 1691. Right.
Starting point is 00:19:31 We went to a bar that was 1168, and that's one of the oldest bars. That's him. 1168, dude. 1168? 1168. That's at least, that's long, long time ago. That's so long ago, dude. Did it, like, what, is it solid?
Starting point is 00:19:48 Does it stink? Like, what? That's hell of old. It's great. It's great. I mean, like, like, the doors are, like, super tiny. Like, yeah. Especially for America.
Starting point is 00:19:57 Like, DERS might not be allowed. Um, everyone is like my size and looks like a cousin of mine. You're like, oh shit, what's up? You might as well call this place heaven. Um, that's odd. It was fucking. I'm not getting in. Sick, dude.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Cool. And so the whole city, like, because I don't, I've never been. Yeah, walk me through it. So does the city look, obviously these bars are old? Does the city look old? Are there new buildings? Like, what's the men? There are some new buildings.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Is there a Dave and Buster? I didn't see a Dave and Busters. Maybe way on the outskirts, but no, it seems. Uh, uh, Actually, no, I take that back. There was, like, an arcade-type place, but it wasn't D&B. Let's go. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Okay. So were you guys just at the arcade the whole time, just playing Time Christ? We didn't really swing through that, unfortunately. But every night was like an absolute throwdown. Like, every bar, we got there on a Monday. Had to check it out. But every bar was just, like, jamming on a Monday and a Tuesday and a Wednesday and a Thursday. And every bar that you walk past, there's people in it.
Starting point is 00:21:01 It doesn't feel empty and dead. I'm drunk now. And we walked past and people were singing the killers. Are we human or are we dancer? And it was a crowd of 300 people in this bar. It was a Friday night. It was packed. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:17 And they're all singing it. And I'm like, look at this. That's the one they're singing, huh? Yeah. Because during the World Cup, that was the song. That was the song. Somebody used that song. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:27 I think it's the millennial super anthem. Right, right. Like, I feel like Sweet Carolina is a generation too old. Yeah. But killers, are we human or are we dancer? That was an absolute streak. Damn, dude. For us millennials, dude.
Starting point is 00:21:43 And it was, I stopped and videoed it. I was like, this is perfect. It made you wonder, are we human? Are we human or are we dancer? The place was wonderful. We did talk about how if you were there, Blake, we would lose you to the same. city. I believe that. It's in my, it's on my bucket list. I definitely have to go to Ireland.
Starting point is 00:22:05 It doesn't even have to be on a, it could just be on your list of places to go next now. It's definitely in my top three. I think it's Tokyo, Ireland. I really want to go to Antarctica, but that's on some like science, science shit. Also, just go there. Yeah, you could just go there. I have friends that have been there. A travel agent away from sorting it all out for you. Yeah, Blake, like, looks at that travel as if it's, like, out of reach or it's impossible. You aren't a poor person that can't afford to just go on a trip, you know. You can do it. I just, I get scared to leave home.
Starting point is 00:22:41 I feel like, I don't know. It's just a lot. It's a big to-do packing bags. You're not needed. Yeah, you're not needed. I promise. You're not needed. Everyone you know will be okay.
Starting point is 00:22:52 Yeah, you're not needed. Wow. Thank you. Yeah. Your family would be like, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you're still here. You come back and you bring gifts and they go,
Starting point is 00:23:04 you're right, yes, you left. Yeah, you were gone. And you just bring, your gift from Antarctica. Everything is busy being. It was just snow, but it's just melted. So it's just like you just have like a cup. Cup of water. Daddy's home.
Starting point is 00:23:22 Damn, man. There's just another guy there like all. rocked up like, what's up? They're like, I'm pissed now. Now it'll make sense. You were gone. We've gone, don't worry. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:23:36 That's not nice. But no, I think... Go to Tokyo. I think you can go to all these places. I want to. Tokyo is great, dude. Tokyo's fucking fantastic. Do you know who's there all the time?
Starting point is 00:23:47 You're fucking BFF, a TBA and Aco. I know. They're there constantly. They were going to take me. They're there like every four months through there. And I don't think that's a overstatement. Yeah, I know. I want to go.
Starting point is 00:24:00 I even think you could go with them as like a guy who holds lights. Dude, that would be kind of cool if I was like sort of the lighting bro. I could be down to that. Yeah, or you could just go when they go and have fun. Well, now I, okay, you know, I could do that, but now I'm starting, I need a purpose. But also I'm starting to like, I'm kind of in the realm of like family vacations, save it up for like family vacations. That seemed like...
Starting point is 00:24:27 You could do both. But yes, absolutely. Just took my whole family to Stockholm, Copenhagen. How was it? We went on a road trip up to Oregon and then Montana through Idaho and back through Utah, went to Zion. Now, when you do that, are you guys just in your car? Constantly screaming.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Because you don't have like a giant escalator. Don't have one of those pandemic sick, like... Or like an RV or something or like a sprint or... van or something. You just have like a regular We have Rivian. Arrivian. But like is that three rows? O'Rivian? Oh, it is. Okay. What about a like an ID buzz? The Volkswagen
Starting point is 00:25:07 Bus bug? Dude, love those and they have them tricked out with a tent on the top. But those are topped out at 200 miles charge, which is just atrocious. Yes. You need to get that's why they're not selling. I love that car. I love that car. I wave at people who drive those. I go, hey, you

Starting point is 00:26:38 Listen to Pro Society on the Iheart radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. See you between the pages. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B.
Starting point is 00:26:59 I'm Julie Pinheiro, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people, and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind, or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:27:45 Hey, this is Hayes Davenport. And Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Big Money Players Network. Our show is extremely accessible to first-time listeners. Each week we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz, and try to help them with their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, not that great.
Starting point is 00:28:10 Actually, can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head, right? How about we flip the script? What is the surprise woman? Actually, you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott This entire time You've been expecting
Starting point is 00:28:29 Adam Sandler to come to visit the show I would never expect I have I would never set expectations for something like that to happen If the universe allows for something like that to happen I'm open to it I'm always going to accept Danny McBride
Starting point is 00:28:47 Fine Yeah it's all this fragile masculinity Exuding I could smell it walking on the hallway To be honest with you I was like, is that weed? Nope. It's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. You know what I mean? They're like, oh, it's so stupid. Everyone's so dumb. And fake. Right, fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. And a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally, loves the show and he wants to be a guest on every episode but he's just so busy listen to hollywood handbook on the i heart radio app apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts i did uh i drove to the bay area last weekend and i took sam's car which is electric and i had never taken a road trip with an electric car it's fucking stressful dude it's not it's not cool i love i got we got to one of our destinations i was like we're going to put push it. We're going to skip this charge and we're going to go to the next one. And we got there with three miles left on the charge.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Because I was like, because I go. With your whole family, that is absolute psychotic. That's grounds, bro. That's grounds. That's grounds, dude. That's grounds. It was like stop at 11 and then stop again at 1230 or something. And I was like, no. Because how long does it take to charge?
Starting point is 00:30:22 Fucking 40 minutes. Let me just give you this short. Here's a short answer. Here's a short answer. On a trip, they want to keep you between 20 and 80% of your battery, right? So they don't want you to fill up too high because it takes a long time to like, it protects the batteries when it's under 20 or over 80. So the fastest time to charge is when you're at 21% up to 80 and then you leave.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Sure. I don't want to have four 15 minutes stops in a day. I want to have 120 and 140 I think that's the same And so my point was like I don't want to stop at 1115 and 1230 I want to stop at 1230
Starting point is 00:31:03 Which is like lunchtime And we'll just go This is what you're telling your children Wow we charge for Yeah And boy They couldn't care less We pulled the fuck up
Starting point is 00:31:13 I mean Emma's like White knuckling it like What happens If a car dies Like this is grounds You have to like This is rounds When a
Starting point is 00:31:23 When an electric car dies, they can't just, like, tow it, right? Doesn't it, like, fully seize up? Like, you can't even exit the car? Yeah, it's like the doors don't... It's like a calf muscle. It's like a Charlie horse. Doesn't it lock you in? It's like that movie from Disney Channel from the early 2000s, Smart House?
Starting point is 00:31:39 Yeah, isn't it, like Smart House? Is it like exactly like Smart House? You can't exit the vehicle, correct? You can... Dude, what are you talking about? You sound like every old person I talked to at this wedding who found out we were driving an electric car, they're like, all right, so now we're hearing about these things. I'm like, you lose!
Starting point is 00:31:58 Yep, electric cars. How does it work? Dude, I didn't know any of this about the battery like that, the middle charge thing, everything you're talking about. I didn't know about any of this. So I left on a Friday, and when I got to the grapevine, that's kind of like the mountain you have to drive through. And why did you take Sam's electric vehicle?
Starting point is 00:32:15 Because I would... And what kind of electric car does she have? She's got like a little BMW, like an electric BMW. Okay. And I just thought it was. would save on gas. I didn't want to pay for gas on the way up. It would use no gas. It did. It does save on it. But as I was driving through the grapevine, a fire started. And they shut the hill down. You couldn't get it. Get over the grapevine. And then the car is telling me, like, you have to find a charging station. So I ended up, like, driving around the mountain,
Starting point is 00:32:45 but I never got to the charging station. I was driving for seven hours and I only got one hour away from home. it was really bad. I turned around. What is that mean? You got seven hours and you only got one hour. I went up for grapevine. I got turned around. I tried to drive around the mountain, but then I drove back into the fire
Starting point is 00:33:06 because the car is telling you where to go charge. The charge stations are. But it doesn't know there's a fire. So I drove back into the fire. Mm-hmm. So I just turned around. I do love the idea of seeing a fire in front of you and the car's like, a head and you're like, I have to.
Starting point is 00:33:23 I have to drive. Literally what I was doing. At that point now where I'm like, I guess I got to listen. It's telling me and I'm like, I'm like looking at the smoke and I'm like, I don't be a bitch. I'm like, I don't think this is the right way. Come on, pussy.
Starting point is 00:33:37 Do you must drive ahead. Keep going, pussy. Bavarian motor vehicle says drive. It was a nightmare. So then you just came home? Yes. Well, Blake, why do you? I mean, you guys.
Starting point is 00:33:51 drive all the way up. You went home? I went home. Dersa's driving to Oregon and shit. Why not fly? There's a direct flight that flies into Concord where you're from. Why not just get on a plane, get there in an hour and a half, and be done with it? Well, I don't like airports, and I enjoy... You like the drive. I like the drive. I like the five. I do think that that is a NorCal person thing. I don't think any Southern California person loves the drive. up north, but because... No, it's ugly. It's flat land.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Sure. It's not pretty, but I just... Harris Ranch. Classic. Great stop. We should go there. But people who live up north who move south, they love that fucking drive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:35 It's a good time to... What is it? Seven hours? Six hours? In an electric car, it probably is. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, it adds quite a bit when you got an election. Oh, that sounds miserable.
Starting point is 00:34:47 But what's dope is it on the way back? I've made it with no charge. all the way home. And the car's like, when I'm pulling. Because again, it wants you to get home with like 60 miles on your battery.
Starting point is 00:35:01 And I'm like, I don't need 60 miles. I need six. Yeah, it's bullshit. If it tells me I got six miles, I'll have, because it tells you what you're going to have when you get to your destination.
Starting point is 00:35:10 But if it tells me I got six miles, that's far off. Is it like, I'm always worried about, and by always meaning I've never driven an electric car, but I would be worried about it just,
Starting point is 00:35:21 It just not, like the gauge is not quite right. Oh, yeah. And the six miles is actually zero miles and you're fucked. Yeah. You have to really trust the robot. That's what a wild man dur is, dude. Why is you really? I love it.
Starting point is 00:35:37 I'll go to Orange County on a fucking half battery for a water polo weekend. And then I'm on driving back and I'm like, I think we can make it. Damn. That's crazy. My kids are sleeping in the back seat. And I'm just like, we got this. We fucking got this. never ran out of battery before?
Starting point is 00:35:52 No, no. I mean, I've also been, I'm like, not risky. I wouldn't do it if it was like... He's planning it. Yeah, yeah. He's looking ahead. He's seen where the charging station. And there's a charger, there's a charger on the way
Starting point is 00:36:07 where if I see it's down to two miles and I'm 10 miles from home, like, I'll pull over. Okay, this is another thing. This is real electric car charger talk. It sent me to... It sent me to... It's just... into it. We're talking, boy. We're talking, boy. This is just guys talking. It sent me to, it sent me to somebody's house. It sent me to a personal residence. Why did it do that?
Starting point is 00:36:33 There was just some jacked dude there. It was like, you always charge here. Yeah, there's just some fucking dude there with a, when I got, why don't you go to your second house? When I got to the fire, the nearest, like, I was starting to really panic because I didn't know any of this information. And it goes, go to Jeff's house. It sent me to a neighbor. It sent me to a neighbor. Go to Jeff's house. On my road trip of thousands and thousands of miles and tens of hours, we did get sent to one charger where the chargers were not operable. They just weren't working for some reason. So then we had to go another mile across the freeway on the other side.
Starting point is 00:37:11 Damn. And charge it there. Walmart, by the way, Walmart? Oh, we've fucked with Walmart. They got chargers in the parking lot at every Walmart. Fucking thing sucks. Dude, Walmart is crazy. You go in, you get some sugar snap piece, some healthy snacks, maybe a whole outfit.
Starting point is 00:37:25 Walmart's crazy. I guess it's the same as I love, I see your riskiness because my favorite thing to do when I'm flying is be the guy where they're closing the door. And you go, hey, right here. And you slip in. And then they tell you, oh, you're so lucky. We were just closing the door. And then get on and everybody's like, oh, wow, you fucking just, thank God you made it. We were just about to leave without you.
Starting point is 00:37:57 I love that feeling. And you go, but you didn't, did you? But you didn't. I guess I timed it perfectly. I guess we don't have to wait at the airport for two hours. Will you hold my enormously crazy large coffee while I put my bag up? Can I scoop my fat ass? I can just see Adam's whole fit.
Starting point is 00:38:18 I can see the whole vibe. You know. Sunglasses down for just the, But you didn't close it, did you? But you didn't. Fucking dude brings on a tuna sandwich. He's baking in the bathroom. No, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:31 God. If anything, I'd bring on a whole rotissary chicken. I ate the bones. I ate the rope. Swallowed a rope, bro. I swallowed the rope. Dang. That's a flex.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Dude, yeah, the flight to Dublin is 10. and a half hours. And the way there, we slept for a large chunk of it, you know, because it's overnight for us. And then you get there and it's like mid-afternoon and you're kind of turned upside down anyways. And then you just get really drunk and then you kind of pass out. And that's the way to do it. But the way back, you're the best. You're trying not to sleep because when you land, it's like eight o'clock at night and you're going to have to turn around and go to bed. So I just stayed up. What are we watching? What are we watching? Dude, I watched And I don't know if there was the right move
Starting point is 00:39:20 because I didn't particularly like it but there was just so much of it to watch. I watched the morning show. I watched like nine episodes of the morning show. Oh, the Apple show. The Apple show. Got it. I was like, this dude's local news game is strong.
Starting point is 00:39:35 He's on flights. Mark was watching Dublin News. I'm just watching all the morning local news. Just every state you fly over, you just tuning in. I was watching some Dublin local news. What is that like? Exactly like it is here and it's fucking awesome.
Starting point is 00:39:53 It's just great. It's just they're just talking about there was a heat wave in Dublin so it was like 80 degrees which was awesome. Really? Because normally it's like kind of cold and rainy and wet in Dublin.
Starting point is 00:40:06 It's a little hot out. Oh, that was good, Blake. But what's the air conditioning situation? The air conditioning situation is not a awesome. Right. And the first two days, mine wasn't working. at top speed.
Starting point is 00:40:19 You're telling me the place built in 1186, doesn't have good air. Adam is stepping over like bodies. He's like, these people were partying last night. There are old people with no air conditioning. Look at the Irish too, yeah. I'll have what he's having.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Split the G. Like Europe lords, how awesome they are over America all day long. And in a lot of ways, it is fucking awesome. Watch it, watch it. Watch it.
Starting point is 00:40:47 Dude, our HVAC guys. we got it going on over here. Thank you. We can put air conditioning fucking anywhere. And we will ruin the architecture and make it look ugly, but we will have AC.
Starting point is 00:40:59 And that's what I think we need to have... Are you talking about the splitters? The splitter things? Oh yeah. It needs to come like right through a room and fucking... It looks gross.
Starting point is 00:41:10 I had to put those in my cabin, but those are the European, those are the Euro style, man. Oh, what? The splitters, they're like long, plastic fucking Mitsubishi things. You like those? No, I just, I like what we're talking about today.
Starting point is 00:41:25 We're getting into it. Yeah, we're getting into it. Brash tax. No, I'm talking, I want, I want central air. I want central air everywhere. White people be like this. That's what I want. What is, why is it called central air?
Starting point is 00:41:38 Well, it's because you don't just have a unit in a room. Oh, okay, gotcha. Thank you. You fucking idiot. Isn't it because there is one unit? Oh my God! There's one unit. Central and a central.
Starting point is 00:41:48 and blasts it out. Amazing. Dude, this is a thing I looked into a while ago, and I just remember being like, this is talking. This is way too expensive, and I don't want to buy into this. But the fact that like every room,
Starting point is 00:41:59 like some rooms are sunnier than others, and so the temperature is all fucking weird. They have these vents that have like thermometers on them, right? And they open and closed based on that, and it's all Bluetooth took up to your phone or whatever. And I remember they were like $2,000 or $8,000. $800 per vent and I'm like,
Starting point is 00:42:20 No. I'll just turn it up and have it freezing in one room and just fine in the other. But like, just freeze out a child. Who's not, yeah, who's not developing this to be like, dude, get another blanket. These are $40 event now or $99 event. And now you're thinking about like, all right, well, I'm saving. That just seems like it'd be a game changer. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:41 I feel like you need to retire and get into whatever business that is. You need to quit acting. But Adam, I'm at the top of the podcast game. You gotta quit acting. You gotta quit podcast. That's easy, actually. Your ass needs to retire. Remember how you left for a vacation?
Starting point is 00:42:59 I leave the industry and then I come back and they go, Oh. Right. Yeah, no, no, no. Welcome back. Yes. First off, he left everyone. And you're back.
Starting point is 00:43:08 He was gone. You are back. And good for you. And you are back. Right. And you are back. You inspired us, actually. When you were gone, couldn't stop talking about you.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Felt weird. Right this way, Steve Howie. Right this way. Where is your mustache? Did you say Steve Howie? Yeah. We actually fuck with Steve Howey now much more. He's in shape and you're not?
Starting point is 00:43:33 We like him and he is basically you. But a little taller. A little hotter. More confident. That's the best. Funnier. He's better. Funnyer.
Starting point is 00:43:46 A gooder hang? Did we say hot? Did we say hotter? We say hotter? Do we mention hotter? Did we already say hotter? Yeah, a couple of times. Did we say nicer and human?
Starting point is 00:43:56 More personable. Yeah. Yeah. More human? We did say that. We did. Well, just messing with you. Welcome back.
Starting point is 00:44:02 All right. Take care, Andy. Take care. And we will call you. Now that we know you're back, here's your chair. Here's your chair. Okay. See you.
Starting point is 00:44:11 God, that was awkward. That was so awkward. He's still on. But you're back. I would like to shock. I know we're not there yet, but we ate at the number six restaurant, number six steakhouse. And I want Isaac to drop in the... Sorry, is that the name of the place?
Starting point is 00:44:31 You were like, I don't want the top five. Wait. It was the number six rated... Steakhouse in the world? Steakhouse in the world. Where's this... Where's this steakhouse book? Dublin.
Starting point is 00:44:44 No, no, no. Like, what's ranked in? I have no. Let him say this. Just let him say no way. Double it. Number six in what? Fuck if I know, dude.
Starting point is 00:44:53 It's just, it's called FX Buckley. Yeah, it was ranked as the number six best steakhouse in the world by world's 101 best steak restaurants award. Sounds real. Wow. So that seems like a real thing. And shorter name? It was fucking awesome, dude. Thebomb.com.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Oh, my God. So good. It also was like reasonably priced. I mean, Isaac paid for it. I don't know exactly how much it was, but I think it was reasonably priced. He was crying, but it seemed cheap. It wasn't pretentious. This is pretty reasonably priced.
Starting point is 00:45:24 It was free for me. Do y'all have Klarna? You know how sometimes you go to like a really nice restaurant? And it's just like too much. Like they're doing too much. Yeah, yeah. And this was just like, no, it's steak, it's potatoes. It's all the classic.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Nobody hits you with salt? Oh, dude. Did you go to salt bay? Damn. No, you wish. I went to Salt Bay fucking beer. That's number one, boy. Salt Bay's got me.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Yeah, I wonder how Salt Bay is doing. He's doing it. I'm glad that the steakhouse was cool, but the website sounds like something made up for a person to go to steakhouses and say they're from a thing. Wait, but what's the vibe of an Irish steakhouse?
Starting point is 00:46:06 Is it like red leather booths? Is it like... No, no, it was the opposite of that. It was like, we walked in and I, I thought it we were in a long restaurant because it was... It was like a... an old from the 1800s,
Starting point is 00:46:19 an old butchery. So they have like updated and turned in the windows and stuff. And then they've turned it into a steakhouse. And it's owned by the same family for the past 250 years. What's the family's name again? Buckley. FX Buckley. FX Buckley.
Starting point is 00:46:37 His name is FX. I don't fucking. Franklin Xavier. That's a sick ass name. Or something. I don't know. Seems like that'd be. Zender.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Xavier Buckley. And what'd you get? What'd you come with? Yeah, what'd you get, bro? Give us the order with. Please tell me you got some potato. Potato skins. I got ribby.
Starting point is 00:46:59 Ribby. The fucking ribby, a little extra fat on it. And then I said, give me your mashed potatoes. They gave me a big old pot of mashed potatoes. I wish you did go into the crazy American accent. And then I said, and then I said, hey, could we actually get? I said, I want a mashed potatoes. I said I want a mashed potatoes.
Starting point is 00:47:17 And then I said, I want a mac and cheese for the table, for the table. Hot, hot, hot. Put it down the right of here. I want a side salad that I'm not really going to eat, but I feel like I should order it. Now, is that a hot, hot dish? I have a side salad. And it was fucking great. I want a cream.
Starting point is 00:47:35 I want a cream spinner. Give me a cream corn. Uh-huh. Give me a cream corn for the table. I like an extra ice in my water. Yeah, give me some big old slices of tomato. I want you. What do you like to drink?
Starting point is 00:47:47 Are you, Adam, have you reached Rich Guy status where you'd pair it with a wine? Are you there yet? No, I mean, I do like a red wine with a steak, and I'll do that at home more, but I don't know enough about red wines. The cause of diarrhea.
Starting point is 00:48:03 And when I'm out, I'm out to get drunk. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So I've been, I either was drinking Gennis. Did that a boy? Or I was drinking, dude, by the way, I'm so good at splitting the G.
Starting point is 00:48:15 wildly good at it. Come on. There's no way you're not. Tell me what that is. Splitting the G. So, again, is... Because when I was in prison, splitting the G was a whole other thing. Uh-oh. The cost of diarrhea. Split in your gaping ass. I'm gonna split the G tonight. Home, get over.
Starting point is 00:48:32 The G. Get over here. Go ahead. The deleted scene from Shawshank. Go ahead. Hey, Holm, get over here. About to split your G. Split the G. I'm off to split the G.
Starting point is 00:48:45 the jeet. Tim Robbins is fucking. And that's what I knew. That's what I knew I had to split his jeet. He crawled through 10 miles of butthole that you can't imagine. It's Morgan Freeman doing the voiceover. Andy Dufrean. Ten inches of the foulest cock you've ever seen.
Starting point is 00:49:05 Andy's dude was rearranged. He split. I ruined his Dufrain. Oh, boy. I split his jean. He was going to. wish he was on death road. They found 10 chest pieces
Starting point is 00:49:20 of his butt hole. Yes, points! So the Gennis glass... I took that soap. Okay, go ahead. It says, Gennis. Yes. And it's like this far...
Starting point is 00:49:30 It's farther down in the glass than you remember it being. So the Gennes, what they do in Dublin, which is awesome, and I wish they did it here, every beer that you would order, if you got a Coors Light, the glass said Coors Light on it.
Starting point is 00:49:45 If you got a Guinness, it says Guinness. If you got an Amsthal Light, it says Amstelight. Oh, that's cool. And so on. It's pretty fucking cool. That's unreal. Yeah. God damn.
Starting point is 00:49:55 Well, I mean, like, no, that's cool. In America, we're not doing that fuck. We're not going the extra mile. Nah. Absolutely not. We don't give a buck. So it's pretty far down. And it's, for me, it's, the goal is to get the line of beer through the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, where the top.
Starting point is 00:50:15 connects to the bottom right there. Yeah, the little line. What do we call it? The G line. Is to try to get it right there. Yeah. And I fucking got it. A poor?
Starting point is 00:50:24 Is this what we're saying? A poor? You drink it. You drink it. You drink it. And then you, in one drink without like going down and looking at it, you try to split the G. So that's like when people do their first sip, it's got to be that and you drink it to the G. So essentially for me, it's two big gulps and a half gulp.
Starting point is 00:50:44 And I'll split the G. the G, baby. You've got it down to a science. I fucking nailed it. I was just gifted. Isn't it cool that we're still stoked to be able to accomplish things that like a senior in high school would be legendary for?
Starting point is 00:50:58 Oh yeah. Heaven on earth. Heaven on earth, baby. I went to the party, Adam Devine fucking split the G. Oh, the 40 year old. It was on, we were playing asshole. Dude. Did he be doing high school? And what does he get for doing that? I went to high fives.
Starting point is 00:51:15 from his friends that are the same age. Endless pussy. A couple of high fives from Isaac and his assistant Michelle. I was going back to high school days. Hey, Adam, honestly, thanks for representing for the USA, man. I'm so proud of you. Did everybody in Ireland just be like, oh, he's splitting the G? No, I mean, they would be like, oh, you fucking split in the G.
Starting point is 00:51:35 That's a bad Irish accent. That was not a bad Irish accent. It was a good English accent. Yeah, it was a good Aussie Osborne. God damn. Yeah, boy. Hey, boy. Sharon, he split the G. RIP.

This is Prose Society, the weekly podcast that's part book club, part group chat for thought daughters, pop culture obsessives, and anyone who thinks Pride and Prejudice and Love Island deserve the same level of discourse.
Starting point is 00:52:28 I'm Eli Rallo, and every week we're connecting the dots between books, the internet, and the conversations everyone can't stop having. I'm going to have to look up this story. I'm obsessed. From bestselling authors and your favorite book talk creators to the latest pop culture moments, nothing is off the table. It's like if you can hide some real messages inside compelling characters, then that is a Trojan horse. Whether you're looking for literary deep dives, smart pop culture conversations, or a community of readers who love to think a little too much, you're in the right place.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Listen to Pro Society on the Iheart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. See you between the pages. On the new podcast Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I chose option B. I'm Julie Pinero, and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word solita, trading the pity for possibility. Every time I tried to be alone, I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us. Not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're
Starting point is 00:53:44 alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. Hey, this is Hayes Davenport and Sean Clements. We host the podcast Hollywood Handbook on the Money Players Network. Our show is extremely accessible to first time listeners. Each week, we talk to someone in show business, aka the biz, and try to help them with
Starting point is 00:54:24 their careers and see what they have to offer us. Everyone has a good time, and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show. We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman. Can you help me shape this? How about we flip it on his head, right? How about we flip this script? What is the surprise woman?
Starting point is 00:54:43 who actually you think is the straight man is actually the one who's acting weird. Adam Scott, this entire time you've been expecting Adam Sandler to come to visit the show. I would never expect. I would never set expectations for something like that to happen. If the universe allows for something like that to happen, I'm open to it. I'm always going to accept. You know, Danny McBride, fine. Yeah, it's all this fragile masculinity exuding.
Starting point is 00:55:16 I could smell it walking down the hallway, to be honest with you. I was like, is that weed? Nope, it's fragile masculinity. Ben Stiller, no. Because a lot of times out of context, people don't get it or even know what a circle is. You know what I mean? Like, you're like, oh, what's a state. Everyone's so dumb except for you.
Starting point is 00:55:34 And fake. Right, fake and also not interested or just like, oh, I've got my life. I don't care about your life. and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us. Oh, and by the way, Will Ferrell told us personally he loves the show
Starting point is 00:55:49 and he wants to be a guest on every episode, but he's just so busy. Listen to Hollywood Handbook on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. By the way, Irish people, the nicest people.
Starting point is 00:56:03 The nicest people. I love to hear that. Look at the Irish. And I thought Australians were nice. And they are. But fucking Irish people. Bud fucking Irish. Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Bud fucking Irish people. You split the G. I split their g. They're nice. They're nice people. Wildly nice people. It was so cool. Do they get a little rowdy?
Starting point is 00:56:23 Like, what's the bar scene? Are we like... Irish people? Yeah, we're getting turked up. Yeah, well, we didn't really go out on the weekend, so we didn't see... And also... I mean, no. It just mostly was...
Starting point is 00:56:39 What was so cool is it was 80 degrees. So it was even warm at night And for there, that's like kind of unheard of It usually gets pretty chilly And humid? A little bit, not too bad But like warm It felt like you're in Southern California
Starting point is 00:56:53 And like now when it's the Now that global warming has hit And it's just 75 degrees at night The dog days When you're in the dog days And so everybody was outside the bar Drinking outside And it's just allowed
Starting point is 00:57:07 And by the way No one checked an ID There was not a bouncer anywhere. I didn't see like security. Damn. It was fucking awesome. Dude, did you hear Adam Devines didn't even get fucking carded? And then he split the jeet? Well, you know what I mean? There wasn't like a guy standing outside checking IDs. That's awesome. I think in Europe you can drink. Everybody's allowed to drink. Yeah. I don't think. Well, I mean, unless you're 16, then you can't.
Starting point is 00:57:31 But you could. No, you can't. It's 18 and over. 18 and over. But you can like drink wine, right? But you know, like if we were 16, we're going to the bar. Oh, hell yeah. Right, but, like, I think that because it's 18 and up, they don't need anyone at the door because it's probably, like, easier to spot a 14-year-old going to a bar. Pretty obvious.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Then it is, like, in college where you're 19 and you're, like, not yet 21. Right. Yeah, but if you're 16, you're not yet 18, I'm like, I don't know. That's true. There's gross dropping knowledge on me. That is true. You never been to Ireland. That's true.
Starting point is 00:58:08 You just split your G, bitch. You just put your fucking D-Dong. Nucky Grandma! You got split, homo. I did, I did, uh, I thought I got in a little trouble. I go, can I have a black and tan? Oh. And a black and tan is half,
Starting point is 00:58:24 Gennis, half harp, I believe. And by the way, they're delicious. Have you had one? They're fucking great. Um, and the, the, the, the, um, the, not bouncer, the bartender goes, We don't do that here.
Starting point is 00:58:41 And then he moves on real quick. Like he was pretty offended. I'm like, fuck, what did I step into? And then I look up, of course, it's like a military thing. And when they were fighting the British, and it's something to do with that. And I just looked at it quickly and I'm like, oh, fuck. I stepped into some of their pretty horrific history.
Starting point is 00:59:03 And I'm like, oh, no. And so I go, hey, man, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend you with the black and tan. I'm an American. I just, I didn't, I didn't know what I was saying. And he goes, oh, I wasn't offended at all. We just don't ruin a fucking Gennis by mixing it with another beer like an asshole. So you imagined it had more context?
Starting point is 00:59:25 No, it does. No, I did. I looked it up. And it does. Have like, like, this historical context. And I was like, oh, shit, what did I step into? So you got to stop watching the local news. And he was just like, no, no, no, I just didn't want to ruin a Gennis.
Starting point is 00:59:39 We took a Gennis. tour too. We went on the tour of the factory, which was fucking sick. Awesome. And what about the World Record Book factory? Yeah. Was it free... Is that there? I would... Isn't it the same company? Oh, Guinness World
Starting point is 00:59:54 Records? It's got to be. It's just a bunch of drunk people back in the day were like, World Record Watch, mate. Oh, that's actually a great... They didn't mention the World Record, and I feel like that'd be part of the tour. I've never connected that. If they're not related, they're fucking up. If we're having all these global
Starting point is 01:00:10 mergers and Guinness and Guinness and Guinness are different. Yeah. And Guinness didn't gobble up the book. Damn. I wonder. Yeah, it was cool. It was a lot of like pretending to care about how beer was made. And I feel like I've done like tours of brewer.
Starting point is 01:00:25 You know, when you go in a brewery, the owner will be like, hey, fuck, let me show you how we melt our hops or whatever the fuck. You go, oh, cool. And then you pretend and then they give you free beer, so it's cool. Yeah. That essentially was what happened. Oh, cool. It doesn't smell in here. Yeah. Fucking...
Starting point is 01:00:44 It rings. Right. Huh. Yeah. No, that doesn't smell like foot. But then the history of it is pretty fucking cool. Like, because it's...
Starting point is 01:00:53 I mean, it's been going for hundreds and hundreds of years. And you're like, where's the born-on date? And they're like, that's not what we do here. Oh, hang on. Gennis World Records franchise was literally created by the Gennis Brewery in 1951. Managing Director of Sir Hugh. beaver. Holy sure.
Starting point is 01:01:12 He said the first world record for biggest beaver. Huge beaver. Argued over Europe's fastest game bird, realizing no reference book could settle pub debates. He hired researchers to
Starting point is 01:01:23 follow a book of facts published on October 3rd. Wow. This is great. 55. This is great. And by the way, I don't know if you guys
Starting point is 01:01:30 have seen a Guinness book of world records recently, but they're kind of becoming trash. Yeah, they suck. They look like giant stupid collages. And then now the records are all like...
Starting point is 01:01:41 Dude, I bet they always looked like trash, but we were 11-year-old boys, and you're like... No, no. They used something. No, no. They were way closer... No, dude, I'm not saying they looked like an encyclopedia or whatever, but they looked kind of like a reference book.
Starting point is 01:01:56 They looked official. And now they look like, I don't fucking know. Yeah, like a magazine, like Teen Tiger Beat or whatever. It's fucked up. Yeah, it's wild. And the records are like, most pancakes eaten by a clown farting fucking. No, we know the ones that really should count.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Longest fingernails. Dick? Oh, God, I'm sorry. Longest fingernails. We all remember that bitch with the phone. We all remember. And they curls up. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:22 Nardly, yeah. Indian dude? Who had it, like, wrapped up in the bag? Yeah, yeah. Of course, longest neck. That's a, that one's dope. Oh, she? Fatest twins.
Starting point is 01:02:31 Put all the, uh, the rings around it. Yeah. Mm-hmm. That shit was dope. Throat. Remember the show? The dude who could pop his eyes out? Largest throat.
Starting point is 01:02:40 Largest throat. And it's Heather. It's Heather. Shout out. It's Heather from. Heather, I.D. Deep throat. High heart deep throat.
Starting point is 01:02:48 Oh, man. Such a legend. What's she up to? Shout out. Every once in a while, I'll get the, I'll get the, you know, like, it'll be in my feed. You know who this is. In Instagram where it's like, you know what you did last summer? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:05 You know who this is. Yes. You're not that guy, pal, trust me. Gauka. Back in the lime wire days. Remember? Man, I miss head. Yeah, my lime wire.
Starting point is 01:03:15 My lime was wired. My nap was stirred. She was stirring my nats. My nap was stirred. There you go. You got it. You know, I do want to move on, but I also just want to live right here for a little while longer. Because what a time to be alive that was when it was still kind of like, I guess we can make this at home, huh?
Starting point is 01:03:38 Oh, you're talking about. She was just dad. Yeah. Yeah. You're talking, we're talking porno. Yeah. Are we switching? I'm glad it took us.
Starting point is 01:03:45 It took us 50 minutes to get here, but we got here. Are we parking? Are we parking? Are we parking? Heather. I think the battery ran out. We're sitting right here for a while. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Okay. So you're talking. We're at the charge. So for those, for those, by the way, 100% of our listeners know what we're talking about. For the one person who's traveling in the car with their dad. Mm-hmm. Let us educate you.
Starting point is 01:04:11 And they don't know who this is. Let us educate you. Hold this hand. Hold this hand. Let us educate you. And ask your dad and your dad knows. And your dad knows who Heather is. But Heather could gobble a penis unlike anyone has ever seen.
Starting point is 01:04:24 And dude, let's get into like, obviously. New on. There's some porno out there where like dudes are just face fucking. And you're like, nope. Not for me. Not for me. Whose box is this checking? No pun intended.
Starting point is 01:04:36 No. Heather was like. Mm-mm. into it having a good time Had a great time There was no like shame involved By the way, didn't look painful That's what
Starting point is 01:04:47 Right, exactly What's getting wrong now Is it looks painful Right For the girl Yeah, I don't like that Why why this? When Heather
Starting point is 01:04:56 You have to talk to this girl afterwards Yeah, aren't you dating this girl? You're a monster Aren't you in love? That's what I assume Is every porno star Like Adam thinks Aren't they in love
Starting point is 01:05:07 Aren't they married? Yeah Don't they have a family? These are the real names. Aren't you in love? I will say it goes a long way when they're kissing at the up top and you can tell they like each other. Yeah. I like that.
Starting point is 01:05:18 Except the fact that they're kissing is absolutely banana. Disgusting. They're like, let me just tongue fuck your nose hole. But yeah, yeah, no, I'm with you there. Yeah, yeah. But this girl, Heather, she was a phenomenon. And the whole generation of elder millennials know exactly who she is. Heather Rocked.
Starting point is 01:05:39 And, you know, more power to her. I think her name was a true savant. And if she's trying to put all this behind her, we get it. But, but like this, if anything, we're not giving flowers. God, that'd be, that'd be the worst. No flowers. It could be dead. No, flowers could be dead.
Starting point is 01:05:55 There's no way. No, we would have heard. You do. Adam would have been a pallbearer. I would have been alerted. We would have heard. I have Google Alerts set. I think I would know.
Starting point is 01:06:07 At the few. At the funeral, they're like, I'm so sorry. Did you see who's here, though? Yeah. Is that the manny? He's from modern family? He's, uh, he's wearing a foot door.
Starting point is 01:06:23 Does he know the family? Does he know the family? By the way, the three of us would have been there, and we would have lifted that casket so high. But thank God she's not, she's not dead. Adam makes a speech. He goes, my name is Adam. I love her.
Starting point is 01:06:41 No, I start to play an acoustic guitar. Adam, I creep throat. I'm singing, hey there, Delilah, but I'm changing it to, Hey, there, Heather, what's it like up there in heaven? Heaven. You're a thousand miles away. But tonight you look so pretty. It's so crazy.
Starting point is 01:06:58 Workaholics are just like, they did like hour-long speech in each of them. Adam performed a song. She's an appadmeister. know those movies where the family goes on vacation and then like something happens and then like the kids maybe the wife knew a little bit and that's why they hooked up in the first place but the kids didn't know that dad used to be like a savage green beret or something like that or a game with a certain amount of skills like i'm just imagining a situation where heather's on a vacation shit hits the fan and kids find out that mom had a very specific set of skills i can get us out of this i think i can she was
Starting point is 01:07:37 Liam Neeson from Taken. I think I know how to take this boat back. Let me gobble. I know how to commandeer this ship. And by the way, I'm the captain now. Maybe they find out maybe they don't one day, but there is this superpower that they just may or may not
Starting point is 01:07:57 ever know about. That's crazy, man. Which is wild. Would you imagine? Good for her. Good for her. And I bet you didn't expect to be such an absolute legend.
Starting point is 01:08:08 Well, then why'd you do it? Yeah, no. Yeah. You know, I feel like it might just be a fun thing to do to spice up your relationship. Do you think she thought... Heather's getting into heaven. That, like, everyone could do what she does?
Starting point is 01:08:23 Or do you think that the husband and was like, dude, this needs to be documented for his story? Yes. I think the very... This is going in the Smithsonian. I think the second penis that she gobbled. the first penis was in high school
Starting point is 01:08:39 and maybe that guy had never experienced a gobbling the way she gobbled the second penis the guy in college that has had his penis gobbled before it wasn't gobbled in that same way that guy goes this is special and you're special dude had a pipe and so he might have been like
Starting point is 01:08:57 well this has never happened been gobbled and I'm going to stop you it right there what's your name again is Heather right and what do you do where do you work I
Starting point is 01:09:11 I think I we need a better broadband cable or fucking we need an plug in the internet I think we might I think we might have something here Hey guys Heather I think we might have something
Starting point is 01:09:27 Hey guys we talked We just talked We've been talking We've been talking for a God I love talking with my boys Netflix We talk You're welcome.
Starting point is 01:09:37 You wanted it. You got it. You got it. It's a loop. We've been talking about. Hey, can I give a shout out? I know we're doing takebacks and apologies. I want to give a shout out to everyone who watches the little tiny,
Starting point is 01:09:51 itty-bitty clips that we still put on YouTube. And I see you in the comments because sometimes it gets pushed to my feed. And I go, what is everyone saying? They're not saying nice things. And I stand with you. I wish we were still on YouTube in a. certain way. And that is that the community they get to get in there and talk. There's no way to really do that on
Starting point is 01:10:14 Netflix yet. And Netflix needs to add that. Let's do it. Let's figure this out. I feel like we could add a comment section on the podcast. That would be sick. Flicks. Yeah. We like that was half the fun was people being like, we miss Kyle first, like whatever. Oh, a group of Irishmen came up and they were like, TII Nation. And I fucking lost it, dude. I was like, that's the best. It was three Irish guys.
Starting point is 01:10:45 They listened to, this is important. Oh, wow. And then they said, one guy said, fuck Kyle. And then another guy said he misses Kyle. And the other guy didn't really say much. And you know what? And then the rest of the night,
Starting point is 01:10:59 they just talked about that, I assume. Yeah. Maybe they wanted to go online and enter a fan community like our old YouTube page So guys I see you I don't These guys don't care
Starting point is 01:11:10 I see you I appreciate you I encourage you to just get Netflix There's other cool stuff on there Yeah I'm also just like I think they have shows and movies

Starting point is 01:11:31 Maybe Monday Yeah there's no way to tell But There's literally no way to tell. No way for someone to quickly love us. No. I don't know if I have any take breaks. On Netflix expanding the live sports programming
Starting point is 01:11:43 through its extended four-year partnership with the NFL. Look at that. Five game annual live broadcasts late. So five games. Five games. Including International Week 1 opener in Australia down under. Thanksgiving Eve matchup. That's sick.
Starting point is 01:11:56 That's a big deal. Christmas Day games. I'm loving it. But a da-da-da-da. And a week 18 finale. And the global streaming rights. for the NFL honors. We're doing lots.
Starting point is 01:12:08 You guys watching Hard Knocks? No, who's? What team? Oh, who's on the Hard Knocks? Seahawks. Oh, the champs? Fresh off a win. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:12:15 Damn. Oh, really? That shows. That's all-time. One of my all-time favorite shows. You love it. Even when it's boring, I just love behind the scenes of these guys.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Football players are just a different breed. I wish they did basketball players. I wish they did. Just because I like basketball a little more. I'm more of a basketball head, but... it's just... It's so. individual though like football like forces you to be like a brotherhood yeah yeah that's probably
Starting point is 01:12:40 right think i think though i i know that there are the what if it's like three podcasters is that also like that's deeper than brother not good enough for you there shouldn't be a show about we are we are we are a football team we are a football team in what position are you blake tight end you're one tied in huh i was gonna say quarterback but no you're the quarterback but no you're the quarterback motherfucker Get out of here. All right. Okay, I'll take that back.
Starting point is 01:13:09 That's a take back. That's a take back. By the way, saying it was your confidence is... Yeah, I would like to shout out. Yeah. I also don't think I'm the quarterback. I would say maybe... Maybe Ders or Kyle is the quarterback.
Starting point is 01:13:24 Kyle is the quarterback. Kyle is the quarterback. Now we're just running around. We don't know what's happening. Yeah, no, no. We're just fucking... I'm just like a... Probably a pretty sick running back or wide receiver, maybe.
Starting point is 01:13:34 I'll go along and catch a ball. I like that. Hey, I got the white part right. E. I would like to shout out. My buddy Nathan in the band Waves, and he sent me a care package. He has a cannabis company called Wavy. And these are all individual.
Starting point is 01:13:53 These are all individual. Did they mail that to you? I mean, somebody tried to mail me something when I was gone. And they were like, you have to sign for it. It might be alcohol or something. And I was not there ring style. Oh, no. This, this, no, we didn't have to sign for it.
Starting point is 01:14:08 Let's science. And this is individual, uh, little vapes. Very cool. Very cute. Almost like, perfect for your kid. They look like, uh, it looks like a fucking eraser from elementary school. Oh, yikes. Yeah, but remember yikes.
Starting point is 01:14:23 I took this away from, from the children. But, um, and I say that in all honesty, it looks awesome. You know, I used to, I used to not be into this, but sometimes you just want one hit. You don't want to do a whole thing. Dung-Nay. Pretty exclusively smoked joints. That's a whole to do. Next thing you know, you're falling off a boat.
Starting point is 01:14:41 Then you reek. Happens to us. That's Blake, for sure. Take me back. So shout out to Wavy. Go to WavyV-V-V-Y. Get at it. Wavy.
Starting point is 01:14:53 Wavy. Supply.com. It does say wavy supply. That's sick. All right. Well, that seems like it's another episode. Yep. This is. It's important.
Starting point is 01:15:06 It's been it. I'm your Brea. I told you. You dude. Breed up. This is the way. This is the way. Pizza pizza.
Starting point is 01:15:15 Do you hear the new episode of the Hey Jonas podcast? We are at D23. So we'll see who stops by. The cast of Frozen stopped by. Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, and Adina Mansell. I auditioned for Frozen. What? For Christoph.
Starting point is 01:15:31 They said, okay, what are you going to be singing today? I said, I don't know. That must have been why you didn't get it. That's probably one. Plus, John Stamo. Hayden Christensen from Star Wars and more. And I guess I can share that, uh, no way. Listen to the latest episode of Hey Jonas and the Iheart radio app, Apple podcast, or wherever
