Starting point is 00:00:00 Just a reminder that tickets for Bus Boys, the movie, with myself and David Spade, are on sale right now. Pre-sale tickets, you can get them. It's in theaters April 17th. But if you get tickets now, it'll show the movie theaters that we're going to sell them or that they are selling, and then we can expand to more theaters. So if you know when you're going to go and you can support, that would be great. And no pressure if you can't. Again, the pre-sale tickets are available. Busboysmovie.com.
Starting point is 00:00:34 I'm excited. Thank you. I'll be doing a show in Nashville, Wednesday, April 15th at the Riemann. It's the last theater stage. I will be on practicing for the Netflix taping. So if you want to come out to that, it's return of the rat still. But I promise you, the rat is almost returned. and he's returned. So, yeah, that's it.
Starting point is 00:01:00 April 15th at the rhyming. I'm looking forward to it. Theo Vaughan.com slash T-O-U-R. Today's guests are two of the realest fellows you'll ever meet. Woo-woo! They're fighters, M-M-A artists, and now they're actors. Those are my words, not theirs.
Starting point is 00:01:21 One of them is one of the most beloved athletes in UFC history. His fight with Mike Perry is the high-law. of the upcoming May 16th Netflix fight card and he's joined by his friend and fellow fighter from Stock the 209 Mr. Chris Avila
Starting point is 00:01:38 who fights Brandon Jenkins on the same card ladies and gentlemen we got Nate Diaz and Chris Avila So I can't believe so you're opening a restaurant I'm opening
Starting point is 00:02:08 Yeah I'm gonna open a restaurant Where I live I'm not open it. I got some people opening up. Yeah. It's just going to have options like, same thing, a regular restaurant has, but with vegan and gluten-free options
Starting point is 00:02:22 also. Oh, damn. Do you eat vegan? Yeah, I like, I like vegan. I'm not full vegan, but yeah, mainly vegan. Lentils? You eat a lot of lentils and stuff like that, or what do y'all eat? Nobody. Yeah, I eat yeah, I eat all vegan food, but I eat seafood as well, and I eat eggs, too.
Starting point is 00:02:40 I love fucking seafood, boy. If I I was in the ocean, bro. I think I wouldn't mind it because I know I do like seafood. Yeah, it's the best. But anyway, thank you guys for coming in, bro. You guys are fucking only three hours late, dude. You guys, you both, you guys, you got the only dude that, y'all were later to
Starting point is 00:02:58 Boosie's the only guy that really been late. So when y'all are later than a black guy, bro. That's fucking late. But we would wait. Come on, dog. Does he say that? Yeah. No.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Remember when they were trying to cut off that on somebody's kid? Talking about his kid going like transgender. He's like, No, come on, Come on, come on. He ain't there. He ain't there.
Starting point is 00:03:24 He's like 12. Oh, yeah, I think they're talking about Dwayne Wade. Oh, his other kid. He ain't there yet. They got into it about that.
Starting point is 00:03:33 They got into it, huh? Yeah, they got into it. I'd support Boosie. I'd support Boosie. Yeah. That was one of the best episodes.
Starting point is 00:03:43 We had to have a big bag of weed for him, and we had to have like a, like a lot of weed. Oh, wow. Two pounds and specific kinds. Like, I was on a scavenger hunt. Yeah, they had like, Hello. Hey.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Tell these things we need two pounds of weed. Yeah, Tom three. We should be good. We'll make sure, bro. Thank you guys for coming in, man. Thank you for having us. Where did you guys even meet each other at? The gym?
Starting point is 00:04:16 Did I meet you at the gym? No, I met you at the 24-hour. Tending windows. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My dad had a tent shop in Stockton, and then he got his tent. His truck tended, my dad tended his truck, and that's where we met. My dad's shop. And he was like 15 or 14 or something like that.
Starting point is 00:04:38 And did you always find the shit? And his dad, I was getting my windows tinted in my truck, and I went to pick it up and him. And I think your brother was there? I think it was just me and my dad and Ernie. Yeah, and we all took pictures. Bernie Reyes? No, the guy back home. He's a sponsor.
Starting point is 00:04:54 E-Ride. Shout to E-Ride. Let's go. He was the guy who sold me the Honda Civic when I went for a Cadillette. Yeah, yeah. A kid. He's my first sponsor, though. He's the man.
Starting point is 00:05:05 He's cool. He sponsored your fights early. my first fights and my brother's fights too when we're young and uh he always take care of us with cars and my whole family's cars and stuff like that so he was the man and then i was like i need my windows tin he's like yeah i got you and he called his dad and then that's where i came to pick my car up and they were all there and then he came to train with me because uh i think his dad was talking my brother he's all hit my son boxes he wants to come train with you guys so he came in the spar with my brother and then he came and sprawled my brother nick introduced me to him again
Starting point is 00:05:37 and him and Eddie's son, and then we started training together after that. Because y'all talk about Stockton a lot. What is it about Stockton that gives it that grit, do you feel like? Because you guys always, you know, I mean, you guys kind of represent the 209. I don't know if there's any other fighter that represents, like, a place as much as people correlate you guys with Stockton. Yeah, well, that's just where we come from. And everything started there. and that's the core, baby.
Starting point is 00:06:08 You got to wrap where you're from. I think I had Gianci Madero's come out from Hawaii one time to train with us, and he started training with us, and he's like, yeah, woo, ooh, and he was telling me all about Hawaii. I was asking about Hawaii and growing up there, and I was just like, that's, I was interested. I was like, that's cool. Yeah, like, you're like a, you're like a, yeah, there's my boy right there.
Starting point is 00:06:32 And then he's telling me all about all kinds of stuff that I, culture that I knew nothing about. And I was like, that's badass, dude. And then we're talking. And he was like, yeah, 209, well, because he's a soldier. He was down with us. And I was like, bro, you need to, like, tell people where you come from and represent all that shit. Because it's like, I could listen to it all day.
Starting point is 00:06:53 I'm like, if people, people see you as the fighter. If they could hear what you're about, dude, you're a rock star. So I'm like, you should be. And I feel like that about anyway. because it's interesting where people come from. So he kind of put you on that kind of energy a little bit? No, that's just a thought I had off of where I come from. I'm like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:13 I don't know. That's where I come from. That's what you see is what you get, when you come from. That's the core. And wherever you go, I think it comes from the core of where you're from what you do. Not to get all deep and shit, but that's fucking tight. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it's important.
Starting point is 00:07:28 People draw where they're from. And you see them too, and you know, like, we see you. And you're like, New Orleans. dude, you know what I'm saying? Right, New Orleans? Yeah. Yeah, Louisiana, that's my place. You can see, and that's cool.
Starting point is 00:07:40 That's different than just people sitting there like, yo, whatever. Well, who are you, dude? That's a New Orleans dude right there. So I think that my, my, what do you come from? There it is. Two or nine, what's popping? That's it. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:07:54 That's it. How did the Stockton slap start? How did that start? My brother would slap him people in the UFC the whole time. Was there Robbie Loller? Far as Pete, yeah, he slapped Rob Robbins. Lola right on that's the second fight in the UFC so in the mainstream that's where it came from that's it he started it and that's
Starting point is 00:08:16 Robbie Loller so it's like bro you just smack that full that's crazy yeah Robbie's a fucking boss dude look it's crazy to see how young he was there too um I seen people just get slap growing up like bam and scaring a life out of people and no fight even happening and been like man you just own somebody with a slap so it's like Yeah, I just slapped this honky one time at a pizza spot. For what? Yeah. What happened?
Starting point is 00:08:43 It was just shit. It kind of escalated in there. His energy was kind of saying stuff. And I could tell he knew that it was like that I didn't like it. You know what I'm saying? And I think once you put off that energy, like I don't really like I don't like what you're saying. If somebody keeps going.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Yeah. Yeah. And he was with his girl, bro. And I just had to pall him up. Oh, good. And my friends still talk, bro. And I think I was. is scared.
Starting point is 00:09:05 And it's almost like a nice gesture, too. It's like, bro, I don't like, I don't like, I don't know where, like, someone gets mucked right in front of you and hit his head on. Like, bro, you just kill that guy. Bro, you're like, here's a warning bitch. Get the fuck out of my face. Yeah. So it starts nice.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Yeah. It's nice. You could be a bitch or now you could get melted because you're coming back and you can shut up or get it. Yeah. So that's it. That's it. It's like a warning flare.
Starting point is 00:09:33 It is like a. It is like a. Shut up, bitch. I could have just slept you, but I'm going to slap you and give you a chance. And I ain't walking around to slap me. I'm just saying someone being rude like that. Yeah. You need that.
Starting point is 00:09:45 Get out of my face. You can't feel it? Here it is. Yeah. And I think it's just, it was like a moment of like, I'm not afraid to have a little bit of energy if we need to have it here today. Yeah. Which a lot of times. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:57 Yeah. You got to slap that motherfucker. I'm thinking of shit. There it is. And then I stood there and waited for a fucking medium pizza dude. And I was like, dude, do not say medium pizza when you hand it. I just wanted, I don't want people to know order to medium, bro, because I was feeling it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:16 That's all right. Anybody else need a slap? I got you. The dude's like medium sausage, bro. And I was like, oh, medium sausage, brus. Sorry, slap my guy, everybody. This is actual large. And I was like, bro, that's the last thing you want to hear somebody saying, and you go and accept them.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Because I've been dealing with medium sausage my whole life, bro. You know what I'm saying, bro? But that's another conversation, dude. What, outside, like, outside of, like, you guys' energy in Stockton, what else the Stockton have? Like, what else do people do there that's, like, kind of a joke? Like, does Stockton have a zoo? It does have a zoo?
Starting point is 00:10:53 No, that's a lot of that. Mickey's Grove. This is a golf. It's pretty good? Yep, they got birds, squirrels. There's a golf course next to it, though. Hey, Mickey Grove, step your game up. We need a tiger.
Starting point is 00:11:07 They got monkeys there. Oh, shit. That bitch looks like Trump. Look at that. We need a lion. There used to be a bear. My grandma lived like a mile away, and we could always in the morning. You hear the SEALs in the morning.
Starting point is 00:11:18 You could hear them from my grandma's house. Really? Yeah, you can hear my life. Like Trump. Oh, that's dope, dude. That's a Trump monkey. Was your family pretty close up there? Like, was y'all's, like, it seemed like a lot of, like, family type of energy up there, is it?
Starting point is 00:11:33 Yeah, my, I got to. A bunch of family in Stockton, yeah. When they, do they travel with you to the fights or no? To the fights. Like when you fight a big fight, we like, everybody's invited. I'm always like, what else anybody at? I don't go invite. I don't, like, fighting is a crazy thing.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Everybody's like, I don't invite people to my fights, but it's a public location. They're invited. You know what I'm saying? Fuck, you ain't at the fight. I don't know, I never been a one of your friends. I'm like, well, why not, motherfucker? I think people get offended at me for
Starting point is 00:12:07 for not bringing them to a fight I'm like bro come on yeah you know where it's half I gotta fight somebody you know the risk of that please come I want you to you know what I'm just like yo it's open the public pull up if you want to pull up I don't go fuck um what so what the so if you guys became so you guys became friends around 15
Starting point is 00:12:26 did y'all go do shit together like did y'all go to y'all's first con like I'm older than him though oh you are so yeah I met him and he came in and then he could fucking box I was like this kid's Lizzie he could box and then so we started he came in to train with Nick
Starting point is 00:12:40 I seen him boxed when they can do really good and like I like and then and then I was like that's cool and he came and started working at and then and then I seen him without even knowing
Starting point is 00:12:51 I came to jihitsu class and I'm training with everybody and then he comes up to me and we start training jih Tijuana and my jih Tzu that's what I'm talking about I think I was in high school because I'm from like
Starting point is 00:13:01 a lot of the boxer kids And everywhere It's like boxers are boxers And jit-s jit-but Then I'm like I was like oh a little boxer kid Well that's because he's fine amateur and stuff And all they
Starting point is 00:13:14 And when he did jihits I was like hey When he did jitza they hey Respect And then we became training partners And homie And he was there more than everybody else I was like that's my guy That's it
Starting point is 00:13:25 My home boy Did you learn from him like Or would you learn from Nate When you got first? Yeah he cracked me in the face and I'm like, what are you doing tomorrow? We're sparring again at five. So that's how I kicked off with me and him.
Starting point is 00:13:41 I was bugging his brother all the time because I was texting. He put me in and then he was like, go spar my brother. And so I was always texting Nick. Like, hey, what's up? Can I come back and train? He's like, yeah, go in there at this time and go spar my brother. And then I was in high school. So I would just leave class and go and he was already, what, he fought.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I was like 24. Oh, then you have seen stuff. You was a damn adult, bro. That's fucking grooming, bro. That's funny. So, yeah. That's fucking grooming, bro. You fucking bringing those youngsters in.
Starting point is 00:14:13 But you just respected his talent so much, huh? Yeah, well, he had a lot of people who ain't got it. Dude, what 15-year-old would fight a fucking 20? Me? Yeah. I did the same thing when I was 15. I saw him and I met him all that. Come on, you like me.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Let's go. That's it. That's it. Yeah, but we didn't talk about it. It just was like that. Yeah, we just hit. I don't think we ever even talked about it. That's how it went down.
Starting point is 00:14:38 But he was fighting consistently. Didn't you amateur fighting? Yeah, I was always fighting. I was fine like every weekend. Oh, so you were fighting? So, yeah. I was almost 18. I was like 16, 17.
Starting point is 00:14:48 So would you go corner him and shit like that or it wasn't? No, not that. He had a boxing coach, and he was boxing. Let's not pull up the pro fights, but. You guys. We have fought the records, but we ain't been finished by nobody, and we've been fighting top competition. the whole time.
Starting point is 00:15:03 So it's like, you know, fuck a record. In MMA or boxing, you've never been finished. No. Yeah, either one of you guys.
Starting point is 00:15:10 No. I got, I got, they gave me a TKL against Josh Thompson one time, but it was like, I'm chasing him around. He's scared for his life.
Starting point is 00:15:19 I feel like, and he wants to fight me now. He's like, oh, he's calling me out. I'm a little, he's a podcaster, he's calling out. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:15:25 but who really won? Like, I never beat nobody and then been like, I want a rematch. So, my day. How about that?
Starting point is 00:15:36 What was... Was I supposed to bring you back to life? Keep podcasting my boy. Chris, who got the closest to finish you if there was somebody they got close in one of them? Eddie. My brother. No. Is your brother tough?
Starting point is 00:15:51 No, he's my older brother. Yeah, he grew up fighting. That's how I wanted. I wanted to fight because he was always fighting and shit. Sorry about that. Like at school and stuff. Yeah, he's not a fighter. Is that why you kind of got into it, you think?
Starting point is 00:16:01 Yeah, because he was a fucking... He was always fighting. Does he still fight? No, he never fought like professional or anything. But yeah, he was a little gangster at the house. So I was like, I want to fight. He always come home with stories and shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:15 It is funny. Like brothers want to do kind of what brother. You just, if you're a younger brother, you want to do what your brother does, you know? And sometimes your brother will quit doing that shit like two weeks later. And you just keep doing the rest of your life, bro. Sure. Was who fought first in your family was it you or Nick? Oh, Nick's been fighting since I'm a little kid laughing and shit.
Starting point is 00:16:35 Like, what the hell's going on? Why are you fighting people? Nick's been a fighter his whole life. My brother, my brother led the way. He was, dude, the first, actually, the first Dias I ever met was Nick. See if you have that. I know New York podcast, right? Yeah, on the Opie show.
Starting point is 00:16:53 I seen that recently, and I'm like, fuck, I didn't know you were around then. That was a long time ago. Yeah, it was almost 10 years ago now, I think. When was that? You didn't even have the hair yet. Uh-uh, dude, I was so scared, too, bro, because they brought in, like, a fucking fighter, bro. I've just recently watched that.
Starting point is 00:17:09 I don't remember that. And a fighter who I knew his name, yeah. I was, like, one of the first American black belts under a Gracie or something like that. Like, back, you know, way back, yeah. Like, I've had my black belt for a long time. And it's a big deal. I mean, like, it's not, like, I haven't given anybody any belts. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:17:26 And who are these, you know, these people passing around belts? Like, it's a, you know, I'm like, go win a competition with that belt. Let's see how you do. It's not going to happen. You know what I mean? Like, it takes a long time. I think Lucas is the only guy. The Bullbell.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Yeah. Go and do boxing, like traditional. They're going to do kickboxing, and that's just going to be enough for them. And then they want to go home to their nice wife and nice life. And they've got a whole bunch of other stuff to worry about. I'm over here, Miles, Jiu-Jitsu, pro boxing, kickboxing, and judo. And ensemble. And I'm doing all of it, taking all of it into consideration.
Starting point is 00:18:01 and always have. What about jump, bro? Damn, I look fucking homosexual in that bitch, bro. No, I just saw that. I like, damn deal with it. Because I remember the interview. I didn't remember you were in it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:13 You know what I was in? I didn't remember I was in it either. Is that the guy from fucking, that's in New York, right? Yeah. That was in the building where they also had Howard Stern was in the same building as Opie.
Starting point is 00:18:23 And they're like... Is that where Shady 45 is? I did one in there too, I think. Yeah. And you go through the hall. There's like just a bunch of them in the windows and stuff. I did it.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I did a podcast. I was telling them earlier. I did a podcast with Everlast in there. Did they have you guys freestyle rapping and shit? No, no. It was Shady 45 and it was Everlast. And I was sitting there, Nick brought me there. It was me and Nick didn't there together.
Starting point is 00:18:47 And I'm sitting there and I'm like, why am I sitting by Everlast? I shouldn't be by this motherfucker because I was, I was, I was fucking on M&M side. Oh, you had a different promotion? No, you know, Eminem dissed on Everlast back then. And I was like, bro, I don't know if Eminem would be cool with me being here like this. I don't think I should be here. The fuck we're doing with Everlast. Because he was dissing Everlast hard on thing.
Starting point is 00:19:14 And me and Eminem fucking are homies, you know what I'm saying? Really? No, I don't know him. I never met him. But I was committed. I was like, well, I was in the music all day. So I was like, I'm on his side. Yeah, fuck.
Starting point is 00:19:26 And then we're talking and then asking questions. I'm just sitting there and they ask me something. And I'm like, are you cool with Eminem now or what? He's like, yeah, man, come on. What do you think? He's like, we're on Shady 45, all right, right. I think I was like, he's about bringing up a beef that happened five or ten years ago. I was like, I shouldn't ask him now.
Starting point is 00:19:46 I was young, though. And I was like, I shouldn't ask him. Dude, bro. I remember one time. I was on Eminem's side, though. At least you were on his side too. Like, you were a real dog for it. I did, like, ever last.
Starting point is 00:19:56 But when he started this one, like, no more ever laughed for me. And then, but now I like Everlast. And he was always cool, too, when I met him a few times. You met him and him? No, I'm talking about him. I never met him. You never met him. Damn, dude.
Starting point is 00:20:08 He rapped about me in the song, though. Yeah, what's wrong was you? I forget the name of the song, but he, uh... Yo, Cap, I know you out there. Send me the song with a... I forget the name of it, but... It was a new song. Here we go right there.
Starting point is 00:20:20 And he rapped about, he rapped about me. And God's my alias, so if I don't have faith in me, then it basically makes me an atheist. Nate Diaz got the world by the tracheas. and they choke, cold, and a sleeper. Dang, bro, that's amazing. Bro, that's crazy. I made it.
Starting point is 00:20:36 It's all I needed in life. It all came back. I all circled back. I came back. I was. I came down Everlast, and then... Here you are. We made it.
Starting point is 00:20:45 That's wild, bro. Did you ever get to... Have you ever got to meet him set? Have you ever... I like, Everlasts, too. I like, I like, Everlasts. I mean, we see each other. We're like, whatever time, but...
Starting point is 00:20:57 Oh, Everlis is a person? Everlast is a person? Everlast. It's a music group. That's what it's like? Yeah, you don't know what it is. I got you. I was thinking about evanescence, I think.
Starting point is 00:21:07 No, Everlast. He was thinking about Evan essence. I was thinking about the fucking boxing. The boxing rap? That's Everlast. And I was sitting there, hey, this song was on in my head, too. And I'm sitting there next Everlast and Nick's talking to interview. I'm like, fuck we're doing in here, man.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And on the real, I only went there because we were doing an interview on Shady 45. Like, sick. And it was ever last. I was like, man, I shouldn't be here. Huh? Turn it off? Oh, yeah, because the audio stuff. We ain't got the trademark for that.
Starting point is 00:21:44 What jobs did y'all have before you? Before fighting like took over for you that was like heavy. Did y'all have work? Did you all have employment? Are we all like? I sold weed. I worked out about. burger spot too. I was just telling him I worked at a place called Bonham Burger.
Starting point is 00:22:05 I used to barbecue tri-tips. I was probably 14 years old. And my brother started training with this guy, Steve Heath, and his brother, Gary, who trained a little bit. He worked next to the gym at this burger spot, and he got me a job with him. And he worked inside, ran a restaurant, and I barbecued across the parking lot on the grill. And then when people hit me up for a demer or an eighth or something, I pull up to the spot, so they pull up to the barbecue, I dropped my eighth, flip a tri-tip, go inside and make a cheeseburger, I'd get down. That was my only job. That was fine.
Starting point is 00:22:38 What about you, Chris? I didn't really have a job. What? Were y'all real rich? No, hell no. Broke as far as a problem. That was a broken. But if you poor and not working.
Starting point is 00:22:48 I know, no, I had jobs, but me and my homies, we'd get jobs, but we didn't last for that long. They were bus boys. Were you really? No, I worked out of winery. I worked out of winery for a long time. and then I worked at my dad's shop here and there for some money. But I didn't have like a job job. And the tenant windows, bro, they only let you go so dark.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Dude, I remember one time I got mine done and they always put bubbles on mines. Nah. Creases. Like, I can't see out this part of the way. Man, I knew I shouldn't let crazy bubble my window. That's when that shit's bad when you have to fucking drive. That's why some people started driving like this because that's the only way they can see how The front.
Starting point is 00:23:31 The judge's the crease. Bro, they had this setup over in, not even far from here where you would get your windows tinted and they had to deal with the cops that right after the cops would pull, they were just pulling people over right as they left those joints.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Damn, a villa. Yep, that's me. That's me. Come get your window tinted. 50% off. Yeah, I'll put it. That's a CTE version. I can afford that.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Over time with fighting, Is CTE, does it feel like a real thing to you guys? Is that something? Do you think that fighting has affected the way that you're able to think? When you do comedy, did CTE fuck with you? That's where it was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You see my kinds of comments off.
Starting point is 00:24:13 They give me with CT every time, man, I'm hot. Oh, they do? Oh, I didn't even know that. What? CTE. Like, does it really affect? Because you guys have taken a lot of punches in your life, you know, like not as many as a lot of guys, I'm sure, but you guys are real fighters. Yeah, I feel like, I feel like it's, uh,
Starting point is 00:24:29 Yeah, I felt like football Probably a lot more than the fight. Yeah, I had a document Because I played football too I remember when I fucking would hit How much of the people? I don't have a headache on it. I had a headache for 12 years old.
Starting point is 00:24:41 That was fucked up. I don't know what the question was about CT I just started thinking about it. What did you say? My CT's kicking in. I think that answers it, bro. Did you guys have to get vaccinated? Did you guys get vaccinated?
Starting point is 00:24:59 I don't get vaccinated ever No, did you? No, I didn't. Fuck yeah, dude. Fuck you. Fuck them. Vaccinate yourself, motherfucker. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:09 You guys is Jim over in Stockton. It's the Nick Diaz Academy. And you guys have had a lot of great fighters out of there. Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez. How has it changed over the years there? Like, has it evolved? What's it been like? Well, they're not out of the Nick Diaz Academy.
Starting point is 00:25:31 We're all from Caesar Gracie. Okay. Nick and Jake and David Derell, those were three black belts under Caesar Gracie. And spread out for them with Tyson Griffin and Nate Dusharm and a couple names out of David Terrell's, who was the first blackball under Caesar. And then Nick was me and him and our team at Nick Diaz Academy. And then Jake Shields had Gilbert Melendez and a whole team. Oh, so it's different than I thought. Yeah, but we're like a family tree type of thing.
Starting point is 00:26:06 And we all come from Caesar Gracie fight team. And then we're the Stockton team. Does the energy feel as alive there as ever with young fighters coming up? Yeah, there's young kids in there coming out of wrestling and jih-jitsu kids and boxers and shit. and everybody's in the day. We're like, we're going to go back. Right now. I've been gone for two weeks.
Starting point is 00:26:30 Going to go back, and they're all going to be ready for us, ready to kill and shit. So it's on and popping when you go to the gym. Are you guys training people as well in there? Like, or what is like, I know you guys train yourselves, but. Yeah, I train with everybody.
Starting point is 00:26:44 I'm more of a, like, I just train with everyone. I'm like, you want to learn something? Let's train because I learned a lot of my, and most of this stuff I know from experience and training with them. people and I've got better from that so I let the guys run the show at the gym and then I come
Starting point is 00:27:02 in and I just participate with everybody and then he's right he's right on the same yeah I'm just doing with everybody really do you guys feel like fighting should be taught in schools I think jujitsu should be I think jujitsu 100% should should be
Starting point is 00:27:17 law enforcement yeah but if they didn't in the school then by the time they get to law enforcement they would know and then if you're going to do law enforcement And you'd be like, well, I better step them my game up because you would be conscious and aware of it because you learned it in school. You're like, that's the only thing that's going to protect me. Did they have boxing back in the day? Look at this, dude. Today it's crazy to think boxing used to be.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Like in high school, an high school. This was in school. This is in London in the 1930s. Okay, in high school. Yeah, not the mountain. But look at this shit. They used to have this. Watch this kid.
Starting point is 00:27:49 This kid's good. That's how I was. Imagine this at, school though. You gotta be sick. Why he got all the girls time? Damn, what happened? That's gentrification. That's how it happens, dude. That's how you make friends. One mixed guy showed up and everything fucking went in there.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I've been wondering if there was ever a time when you were with your family and your car broke down because I've been there. Starting point is 00:31:16 everything you know kind of like common sense type of thing like I think people would get hurt last more and think a little more about what they do. I can go in all day, but, you know, like, Jiu-Jitsu, I think is necessary for everybody. It's like learning how to swim. Like, I think everybody should learn how to swim. What if you fall in some fucking water? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:36 So that's what I think about Jiu-tut too. Yeah, like, people are walking around acting cool and shit. I'm like, what if somebody just drowns you? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So that's why I started training. I'm like, you know, people actually will walk around
Starting point is 00:31:52 can do this to you? Yeah, right. I'm gonna master this shit. Is that what your kind of mentality was, starting out with it? Yeah, you're walking around helpless and you don't even know it. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:02 You know what I'm saying? A fucking title way it might come. You're gonna fucking drown. So that's scary to me. Yeah. So I would learn how to do that. Yeah, it's fucked up. That's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:32:18 No, you're right. People don't even think about it or considerate. though. People are, oh, I can fight, when's the last fight you got in? Yeah. You don't even know that you can't fight.
Starting point is 00:32:28 And I know that you don't know that. You know what I'm saying? It's like, and people aren't even conscious or aware of that. So I think that's a scary situation. So, just get all deep again about it. No, that's not deep, bro.
Starting point is 00:32:41 That's real shit. Just because you slapped a guy one time at a pizza parlor that doesn't mean you can fucking defend yourself. It's true, though. He might have been able to just drown you and you don't even know it. So it's like. It's true.
Starting point is 00:32:51 He might have saved my life. that day he might have said i'm but i could fucking you're too down for him yeah he's like no fuck that this guy just drowned to me i'm out yeah i think definitely the confidence building um yeah learn how to talk to people and like i would go to train when i'm when i'm a kid 15 and i'd get smoke i'd get high as fuck all the time and i would go on to train and it would be like i'd hate coming on time because i'd be like if i go on time when we got to sit there and talk about these guys who who were training there, like, cops and work at a bakery and doctors, and everybody was older than me.
Starting point is 00:33:26 I was a kid, and I was, like, social anxiety. I was like, I don't want to go talk to these people. I don't know what I talked about. You ever talk to a kid who's chentzer? You know what I said? So I'm like, I can go talk to these people. I could only talk to my friends, so I'd go there. And then I'd train with them, these 35-year-old dudes and shit,
Starting point is 00:33:42 and I'd fucking choke everybody because I was there more than them. And I'd be like, and then all of a sudden, I asked me a question about the movie, and I'm telling them about the moves, and they're going here, and they're like, what do you do? Are you in school? I'm here. And also I'm in a full-on conversation.
Starting point is 00:33:55 And I'm talking to 35-year-old cops. And I'm selling weed and training and not talking to anybody older than me. So I learned how to talk to people and understand people and, you know, communicate. So it helps with just falling into the social pipeline. It's not funny. Yes, sir. So that helped me there. And then, because especially after training,
Starting point is 00:34:20 You're getting an orphaned off. You're having, like, I'm not asking you something you know about it. And so you're explaining, look, you go here, you pass a guard like this and do it like that. And then they're going, well, what are you doing the daytime? I go run and I can do this. And I want to go get lunch? And now you got a friend. And all of a sudden, your friends with some 35-year-old cop.
Starting point is 00:34:36 And like, what kid do you know that sells weed is friends with a cop? And now you got, they're just homeboys. And then it's like, I learned a lot from all that training. And it helps with everything. Yeah. yeah dude there was something oh the endorphins after a class even if you just got choked out by a fucking
Starting point is 00:34:55 like a 35 pound girl right you'd be like fuck yeah I'm gonna get that bitch next week it could be a dude I got choked up by this fucking 13 year old girl I will say this I think she had taken some Thai Thai bow or whatever it's called
Starting point is 00:35:12 Taekwondo Taekwondo right and so I was like okay so this obviously you know this bitch knows what she's doing or whatever. But anyway, I fucking got leveled out by this chick in one class. And I just remember driving home in my head thinking, I'm going to fuck that kid up next week, dude, which was a crazy thought.
Starting point is 00:35:29 But also, yeah, the endorphins people you would meet. Yeah, if you're choking on a fucking baker, you like fucking smell those cinnamon rolls, bitch, you know. I better get a free fucking. Oh, that's Typho. My role. My bad. That's some other shit, bro.
Starting point is 00:35:44 That's that fucking, look at the dude on the right, bro. That dude. fucking, he'll put a full Nelson in your ass. That fella right there, bro. He'll half Nelson some dude's balls in his throat. Fucking crazy,
Starting point is 00:35:59 bro. Is fighting fun for you guys now? Does it change over time once it becomes a career? It's the best thing to do, like training-wise, I think helps out with life and shit. So I think. Yeah, I've been fighting for so long.
Starting point is 00:36:17 I think him, too, It's like once you, once you're, we've been doing this for so long. If you're not fighting, it's like, that's what I do. Right. So, and then we're like, when you train for a fight and get done with the fight, like, fuck that shit. I ain't going to, what the fuck I just put in all kinds of work and did all this? Because nobody could do that.
Starting point is 00:36:35 It's a lot of work. And then not even the work, too, just the mental, just go to slur. Like if somebody in the normal had to fight, you're fighting three months and be like, okay, they're going to go and go to sleep. I can't sleep. Yeah. They can't even make it to a fight. So it's like, it's the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:36:49 And once you get done, you're like, man, I was finding a cool. I'm glad it's over. I ain't fucking doing that shit. Two months goes by and you're like, man, what the fuck? I need to get back to what I do. It's just what I do now, you know? So it's like, when you're not fighting, you're like, I got to get back. I got to be, I got to do what I do.
Starting point is 00:37:07 So that's how it is for me. For you. Yeah. At a certain point, I noticed, even with comedy, like, it choose, the thing, the thing you do, eventually it chooses you as well. It's like, I have to do this. Right. Because this is what I do now.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Like, I can make millions of dollars doing all kinds of things. I'm like, fuck, there's nothing like doing what you do. Yeah, I got to, I got it. It doesn't feel like you're doing the right thing. So fighting for me is just what I do now. And it sucks and it's great and all that. Yeah. Yeah, what's the part about it that sucks the most for you guys?
Starting point is 00:37:41 Dieting. Wow, what's you're thinking about? You'd be sitting there thinking about something type of like. It's like fasting. When you were talking about it earlier. How many zinj you got in? None. One.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Damn bitch would be big. I know. I don't like swallowing the spit in your zin. It's fucking... Spitting that jar. It'll hurt your stomach. You do zins? No, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:03 I'm vaping right now. And I'm fasting. I feel like a fucking Native American over in this bitch or something. I feel like a damn Hindu or something. I got enough problems, bro. Damn, Chris is fucked up. You fucked up?
Starting point is 00:38:17 No, no. Just have a zim. Yeah, go pee, man. I'm going to PIP. All right. Bro, I've had some fun times in there with him, bro. I've had some fun times in there. Yeah, he'll love that, dude.
Starting point is 00:38:33 Yeah, Joe's been supportive. He's the one who told me he said, like, a year ago, we were staying busy, like, with podcasting, and he's like, if you start doing two episodes a week, then nobody will be able to stop you. That's what he told me. Oh, wow. Yeah, so that was it.
Starting point is 00:38:51 And he just said, yeah, and so we started to challenge ourselves. And it's kind of wild, like, because there'd be, it used to be hard for me to even go like an hour with podcasting. And now some conversations I'll go, it'll be two and a half hours. And it'll be. His are like that long as fuck, you're like, yeah. His have so much information. I'm like, fuck, I'm dumb.
Starting point is 00:39:11 I'll leave out of there feeling like, like, fuck, I got to go study. I just feel dumb. He just is interested in so many things, right? And he really is interested. That's the thing. Yeah. He really fucking wants, he just like, it's like walking in the library. I feel like, oh, I'm fucked.
Starting point is 00:39:25 I'm fucking. Yeah. Like, I can study forever and I won't get past the fucking magazines, you know? You know, wind up just trickling off to all kind of shit. And you're like, damn, now I'm in some situation when I don't know what the fuck we're talking about. Yeah, yeah. And so you see this one fire, right? You saw that?
Starting point is 00:39:40 Cool. We got to circle back. Yeah. Oh, a lot of circle. Dude, yeah, they should. I wish I could call timeout. So, I was in Joe's podcast, just to give myself. My brain a chance to me to get my brain a pep talking those bitches, bro.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Because he's just so smart and so interested. So you got the MVP promotion, and it's Netflix. It's the Mike Perry fight. That's what's coming up. How did the fight come to be? Well, me and Mike Perry have been the biggest thing on the outside of the UFC. Yeah, I've been following the big of the UFC. For a cool minute, and he's been doing moves.
Starting point is 00:40:19 and making shit happen and respect because nobody's doing knows how to do shit. People who are the talent are just the fucking talent. And I'm like, bro, I have to get out of here because I'm not, that's not what I am. You know, so. And I get out and I'm like, what I do is fight. I need to do what I do. So I'm like, there's nobody out here. And then he's out there doing the same.
Starting point is 00:40:50 and we got offered each other a few times and it was in the direction of it happening. And a couple of things happened. It didn't happen and now it's happening. So that unfortunately, this is the only way to make it happen. Because it's time. He's been doing a great job. He's been knocking people.
Starting point is 00:41:15 He beat fucking beat middleweight champion. The hell of the name? Rockhold. He beat rock hold. and he beat Eddie Albright's lightweight champion for years. He beat, he beat Jeremy Stevens up. He'd be, who else? He'd be this back-to-back whipping everybody.
Starting point is 00:41:35 Michael Ben Page. He beat MVP. I didn't even know. That was a great fight, bro. MVP does a good job. He out there knocking people on doing a good job. That's a close one. That one went to the cards, didn't it?
Starting point is 00:41:45 Yeah. And everybody complains about MVP's boring fights, but you need someone like Mike Perry who's going to go forward. That made it a fucking war. It was dope. He dropped. Yeah, that makes a good fight.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Yeah. And that's what I said back in the day. Like, I don't find people who aren't fighters. I'm fine fighters because that makes good fights. And that goes down in the brain, in the memory bank for fucking fights in history, is good fighters fighting each other. And I think that was the best thing to do out here is beat somebody who's doing a fucking great job at fucking whipping ass and making bigger moves than just being a fucking meat,
Starting point is 00:42:19 hit-ass fighter. And that's what I'm attacking. is the best is the best. And Mike's a fan favorite. People love him. People love both you guys. You guys have such huge fan bases and stuff. It's, fuck, that's going to be a tough one to watch, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:34 It's going to be fucking tough one to watch. And I remember earlier I was like, are you excited for the fighting? You're like, bro, that's not exactly the way to say it. Yeah. It's not the feeling. What is the feeling more? Because as a fan, yeah, you kind of ask this dumb question. Like, are you excited?
Starting point is 00:42:57 The feeling is just get in there and get out of a bit of life and don't fuck up. So fuck excited. Fuck, bro. I'm fucking scared. And I'm not even getting out. I'm just going to be, I'm going to come to, I'm going to go. But yeah, I'm fucking scared. What, you have a training camp?
Starting point is 00:43:19 I'm scared now, bro. Damn. Your training camp starts tomorrow. You're not even fighting. That's exciting. Yeah. Yeah. You're right, though.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Yeah, that's cool, though. You're right, though. That's kind of, it's hard to be, like, so few people could put themselves into that perspective, bro, because so many, there's so many people, a fight is one of the scariest things, bro. It's like public speaking with your fucking face and fists, you know? It's the scariest thing to people. And the fact that you guys do it, man, I think that's what makes all the fighters warriors, like, when I go watch UFC, dude, I'm like, these people are, fuck.
Starting point is 00:43:55 They do something that's so foreign to so many people. foreign to so many people. Remember on Gladiator when the way, the Russell Crows is like getting ready to go on, he does that. He's been in war forever. And he's standing there. And he's getting ready to go out like, fuck, we got to war around like some fucking slaves. This is crazy.
Starting point is 00:44:17 And he's looking at the other slaves. You got to go to one and that's a guy from shaking and peeing. You know what I'm doing? Yeah. Fuck. Yeah. Everybody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:29 You don't know nothing about that. He's just sitting there, that's a good fucking scene right there. Yeah. He's like, calm that, we don't make it out alive. So that's,
Starting point is 00:44:40 that's, a gladator. Remember he's standing in the back and they're all there and they're making them and we're going to fight. They're like, you're going to fight right
Starting point is 00:44:48 and for entertainment. And then the guys in front of him, but that's what he does because he's run right way. They were hunting them down. And he went, he ran the whole, army.
Starting point is 00:44:59 So that's what he does. And he's going to go out there to go to war with a bunch of rookies. He's like, come on, let's go. And then the guy in firm is just peeing. He's shivering. He's peeing. He's going out and he's looking like, damn, that's fucked up. Stay by me, dog.
Starting point is 00:45:12 You be all right. Stay close, bro. Stay fucking. I would be hiding there or somebody. So that, when people say, are you excited, the guy who says, are you excited reminding you that guy? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:23 You're like, come with me, bro. Let's go to war. Amen, bro. And you have a fight too, Avila, just announced on the card against Brandon Jenkins? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:45:34 Brandon Jenkins. So it's the same day, May 16th, and, yeah, he fought in UFC a few times. He fought in PFL. He fought a lot, too,
Starting point is 00:45:43 so. And it's, it's MMA, yeah. Yeah. So, yeah. Do you prefer one of the other
Starting point is 00:45:47 these days? Not really. I've been fighting boxing. My last MMA fight was in 21, so, yeah, I'm excited to get back. in there.
Starting point is 00:45:57 He boxed. When I fought, too, he fought. Who did you fight last? My last fight? Well, my last fight against a guy on MVP. It was against Ariel Perez. But the fight before that, no, yeah, that was in August. But the last fight I had, oh, before that was Ben Henderson in the UK.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Yeah. And then he fought, who did you fight, Pattis, he fought, Pattis, and then Stevens. Jeremy Stevens. Yeah, beat him both. And then. And that was all boxing. It was all boxing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:27 But, yeah, we're getting back in the M. M. M.A. Right. And will you guys train to get, you guys will be in camp together?
Starting point is 00:46:34 Yeah. So what does the camp look like this, this time? Does it look different because of these fighters that you're fighting? Like, do you start to shape it for that? Yeah. Well,
Starting point is 00:46:43 with boxing, just boxing all the time. Now we got wrestling, wrestling coming in, uh, MMA fighters coming in, kickboxers is coming in. It's a lot more work than easy-ass boxing.
Starting point is 00:46:54 But yeah, We got everybody coming in for four, full war zones. We get the best, the best in every yard. We get the best kickback. I'm going to bring, I'm going to bring Joe Schilling out. He's got to fight too, right? Yeah, he's got a fight too. And they got a bunch of kickboxers they're going to bring out with him,
Starting point is 00:47:12 and we'll drill and train that. And I got my boxing coach, Richard Perez, and then me and him and about a dozen other pro fighters at the gym. And then we're going to bring sparring it. We're going to bring sparring in for that. And then I got Nick Saldvar runs in my wrestling program at the gym, and he's going to bring in wrestlers. And I got Ernie Reyes out here, rolling me everywhere.
Starting point is 00:47:33 He's the best, dude. Remember when he hit Bobby? Yeah, that's fine. We're not going to say, we're taking that out, Ernie. Don't even worry. Asian on Asian crime. We're going to beat some brown-on-brown-brown crime. Dude, yeah, a lot of people think you and Mike Perry should fight for the winner gets to say the N-word, bro.
Starting point is 00:47:52 That's what it really should be. I feel like. And I heard you guys are going to train right after this. Yeah, my boxing coach just flew in, so we're going to go meet him. I wanted to take a nap, but it's good. Remember that one guy who don't like naps? Oh, yeah, he had beef with naps. Who was he?
Starting point is 00:48:11 John Berthold. I was on Instagram. You know what it is? Yeah, John Berthol. Yeah, that guy hates naps. Oh, he hates naps. I know who John Berthold was. He was sarcastic about a podcast.
Starting point is 00:48:20 Yeah, he appalled. No, kind of. Yeah, he was. Um, I, I don't like naps if you ain't doing shit either, but if you're doing shit, you need a nap. Yeah. I'm not going to do. I can't, if I know I have a lot of shit to do, though, it's hard to fucking. I don't call out a nap either, pussy.
Starting point is 00:48:33 I'd say I fucking close my eyes for five seconds. I don't take naps. I don't have time for naps, man. What's this guy's beef with naps? Dude, this motherfucker takes naps. I don't trust people to take naps, dude. I just found that he doesn't take naps, dude. He's grown ass man.
Starting point is 00:48:46 No, you don't, you don't, you did. Yeah, it's like, dude, like, the whole world's moving while you're napping, bro. It's fucking, I can't fuck with a nap. I just, I can't. Hey, you want to know something? I take naps. Hey, I take naps. I don't sleep.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Hey, if that dude came with me for a day, what's the name again? John Bernthal. I like him, too. He's cool. Remember on the movie? He was on the zombie show, too. He beat the zombies out of, in Atlanta. But if that motherfucker came with me for the week, that boy would be sleeping.
Starting point is 00:49:14 He'd be taking naps. And I'd be waiting him like, I hate naps. Get up. This time of grind. That guy should have hang out with me. That's funny. He'd be napping up. Will this fight will be, will this be y'all's biggest payday for fights?
Starting point is 00:49:33 Same for me. Okay. And if that's too personal, I'll ask, to somebody know if I'm being on the line. Same. No, regular payday. Yeah. Because it's, I mean, Netflix, it feels like to me,
Starting point is 00:49:44 he's trying to get into the fight game, obviously. You know, this is going to be kind of their first MMA card. Is that right, Nick? Yeah. And they're just doing live events, like spectacles. and that's why they need the big names. Did you feel like something like this would come along? Did you feel like just the way that's the way that the business was headed?
Starting point is 00:50:04 It was kind of like when the pay-review models kind of flipped over, you could tell some change. We may have needed to know about it. So you're like, but now you're like, okay, we can work with that. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah, we didn't know what to expect before you didn't see it coming, but now that it's here, it makes sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:22 You feel me? Yeah, but I got my own promotion that I'm planning on kicking off the whole bit since I was trying to get out since I was trying to get out years ago. So I understand it. And it's cool that I'm starting to understand better and I'm going to learn more as I go. And then I plan on running shit over with it too. Did you learn a lot from just like the experience with the Jake Paul fight? Like how? Like just like the, just like seeing like the business like more just having to know.
Starting point is 00:50:59 No, I seen that developing. I could see them. I could see them picking up game and understand that I went. And I'm always learning something about something. So I think every, every experience, yeah, you're picking up as you go. Yeah. Not specifically. I learned that they're doing the same.
Starting point is 00:51:21 Yeah. As we go, you know. Yeah. Was there a chance that you. that there was going to be a, you were going to come back into UFC? I want to be, I want to go back to the UFC, yeah. I fucking, I have bigger, I have bigger, I have bigger, I have bigger offers from the UFC then I got from these guys.
Starting point is 00:51:53 But, but the, the, the opponents weren't the right opponents at the moment. And I believe everything in this, in this fight game. in a lot of things, but the fight game is timing. And I think that if I would have went to the UFC, I wouldn't have been fighting the fighters that I want to be fighting. I want to fight the best of the best. And if I'm not going to get that, then I'm going to fight the biggest, biggest thing I could.
Starting point is 00:52:23 Yeah, like, all right, for instance, I think that if I went back to the UFC, they want me to fight Connor McGregor right now. For me, Connor McGregor just pull up his record. Do we got his record? Okay, I know this, but I'm like, I'm thinking about it. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:52:49 Connor McGregor just fucking lost to Porier, I think. He got knocked out on his ass. What's is the last two? So I can refresh my memory. Porier, right? Okay. So Porienne knocks his outside, right? And then he breaks his leg, which was horrible because poor
Starting point is 00:53:08 Yeah, the fucking, sorry little bitch. Disagree. And he, yeah, what can he say? And I'm like, I'm like, he knocks him out and then he gets his leg broken. And then it's like, fuck, that's fucking horrible. Like, we're adversaries by my bro. You broke your whole shit. I don't wish that on nobody, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:53:28 And then he got knocked out. And then I'm like, okay, I hope he comes back and does good. I hope he does it. You know what I'm saying? And then everybody's kind of mounting down. And I'm like, all right, cool. And then he's going to come back. And I know he's having a hard time with the UFC because I've been having my hard times with
Starting point is 00:53:43 the UFC. And I'm like, yo, good vibes to him, handling your shit. And in the meantime, I'm doing whatever I'm doing. And then when he is ready to come back now, and he's motivated and doing what he's got to do, and I'm like, okay, I want to fight. the fucking BMF motherfucker who's claiming my belt that's running all around. Charles Alvarez just won the fight, right? I'm like, right, you're rocking my belt now and you're running around like you're the
Starting point is 00:54:11 baddest motherfucker. So that's when I'm like, yo, what's popping with the UFC? So I'm like, let's link up and get this fight popping. And then I go back to talk to them about it. And they're all ready for me to come back and fight. I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Listen to what I'm talking about. I want to fight the best of the best, when they are the best.
Starting point is 00:54:30 of the best. Connor's great, but I'm not trying to go kill off Connor when he's on his last dying fucking leg. Yeah, literally. That's fucked up.
Starting point is 00:54:41 But I'm not trying to be the ending to some fucker's story like that. Like, we ain't friends, we ain't none of that. But I ain't trying to finish this dude off. I want, and that's what I plan on doing if we're fighting.
Starting point is 00:54:54 And at the same time, I ain't trying to get fucked up by nobody who just got knocked out on his ass and broke his leg all the time. And they're like, this guy's down and out. Now he's none but motivated to fight me. Right. Because who else are going to fight in there?
Starting point is 00:55:06 And they're probably going to end up giving him a fucking BMF belt, fucking bitch-ass Olivera, who I believe I'll beat the fucking shit out of. You know what I'm saying? Out of Bolivaro? Yeah. He's been in the guy. People I've been beat, beat him. I beat Pettish.
Starting point is 00:55:21 Pettus choked that fool. I beat Sonorani. He kicked him all up in his ass, pugged him like a little bitch. And then I. But if he took you into the grass. He's walking around with my belt, though. Yeah, he got the jewelry. He walking around with my belt.
Starting point is 00:55:33 And this fool actually one time he won the title, and I was, I'll fight all right? I know I'll beat Oliver. And then Olivera is like, no thanks, homie. I put a tweet out, like, I'll fight him. And then he put a tweet out like, no thanks, homie. I'm trying to fight for big stuff world championships and this.
Starting point is 00:55:49 I'm like, oh, I'm okay, I'm not. I understand you have the right to big league me because you're missing champion anything. And then, go ahead, but you're sorry, I said. And then a few months later, a little while later after Connor breaks his leg all up and gets knocked out all the place
Starting point is 00:56:06 this was like, I'll fight Connor McGregor. I'm like, I thought you wanted to bigger and better things. You picking on people who are on the downfall and that's my perspective on the whole situation. Got it. So then they want me to come back and fight. Oliver. I believe they want me to come back
Starting point is 00:56:23 and fight Connor McGregor, not Oliver. I see. You know, I'm like, well, I'm going to fight from my belt that I created. that I deserve since I started a whole division to bring value up to all these fucking fighters. Right, you started the BMF, though.
Starting point is 00:56:37 I started the whole shit. That's me. That's my belt you're wearing on my hip. So, yeah, you just got tatted with a BMF belt. That's me that you're holding, okay? And they're like, okay, we want you to come back
Starting point is 00:56:49 and then maybe later we'll do the... I'm like, okay, well, you know who's doing a good job? The same, almost close to the same amount of offer for Mike Perry, who's the fucking most violent. motherfucker around right now doing things, taking over businesses,
Starting point is 00:57:04 running shit, doing his own promotion. And I'm like, that sounds a lot more, a lot more, I'm a lot more enthusiastic to get up and run and get ready to train for this motherfucker who's going to knock me out or I'm going to knock his ass out and we're going to take what's,
Starting point is 00:57:21 who's the bigger dog or the bigger, best motherfuckers there are, you know what I'm saying? And then in the meantime, I'm not fighting for MVP. I'm fighting for Netflix. I'm fighting for Netflix. and I'm fighting from Real Fight Incorporated, which I'll probably be doing next with Netflix anyway,
Starting point is 00:57:38 Real Fight Entertainment on a thing and show you how to throw a real MMA fight show. I've been in the UFC for 20 years now, so I'm like, yo, I'm gonna do that from Real Fighting with, you know, I'm not working for fucking MVP like all these other motherfuckers are.
Starting point is 00:57:58 I'm a UFC fighter. I'm working for me for real fighting and I'm hunting Jake Paul's motherfucking ass not taking a fight with a guy who's on the comeback. Me and fuck Connor will fight again when the time is right and it's time to fight
Starting point is 00:58:13 but it's going to be when we both on the uprising not when someone's dying out or I'm not a nobody's comeback story either so I'm fighting the most dangerous most violent motherfucker there is on Netflix and then I'm hunting his
Starting point is 00:58:30 boy that he works with that MVP. So that's what I'm doing right now. That's my objective and that's what I'm doing. I didn't want to talk about it, but that's what's happening. Oh, no. And I didn't know that. No, it's all good, but if it came up, that's what it is. And is real fight incorporated that's your group?
Starting point is 00:58:47 And you guys are co-promoters on the fight? Yeah, a little bit. Then we're having it. I'm like, do your thing, whatever. I'm just going to do this because I stay active. I want to stay active fighting because that's what I do. It feels good to do what I do. And not fighting is not.
Starting point is 00:59:00 it. I fight. That's what I do. So I plan on fighting forever, and that's what I'm doing right now. Finding the best guy I could fight on the outside. I'm bigger than fighting some no-name-ass motherfucker than UFC or somebody on a downfield. I'm like, but as far as the UFC's concerned, I'm fucking in love with the UFC. That's my shit.
Starting point is 00:59:21 That's where I come from. And that's what it is. And all this shit came from it. Like, even Jake Paul's fucking ass. And he's obviously. here having a beef with the UFC. I'm like, the UFC made you, motherfucker, because you found a loophole
Starting point is 00:59:36 and you went to box a bunch of UFC fighters. I know, too. I'm in on the joke. M.M.A fighters cannot box. You know what I'm saying? Who was the fight that, when you hear him say this stuff, Chris, how do you feel about it?
Starting point is 00:59:49 I was just listening. That's on it. That's his thing, so. Yeah, I feel it, though. Yeah, I don't know. That's his situation. I don't really know, but... Do you think he needs any different type of prep
Starting point is 01:00:05 to fight a guy like Mike Perry? Nah, I think Mike Perry's a good... That's right up the alley for a real fight, yeah. Yeah. Fuck! The good part about him is he comes to fight. Oh, yeah. He comes down and he tries to take you clean out,
Starting point is 01:00:19 and that's what I'm trying to do too. And if you're going to try to take me clean out, you know, it's hard to fight a guy who's trying not to fight you. And a lot of my losses on my record or any fights I've lost have been motherfuckers who are trying not to fight me. You know, a loophole around the whole fighting. Even like, even like Paul, I feel like I beat ball. But a lot of people felt that way. But it was his like big show.
Starting point is 01:00:45 So it's like, okay. All right. But I know from experience, I ain't winning no decisions, even if I do. So watch that fight over and read the punch count in your own count without somebody else's. I won that fight too. And you mentioned a couple of guys in that. And you mentioned Porre, who I'm obviously a huge fan of and I love. What was the, and yeah, and I obviously disagree with how you feel about it.
Starting point is 01:01:10 But you guys are fighters. And I'm not. I'm not in you guys' universe. So, except as a fan. Why didn't that fight ever kind of show up for you guys? Because he had pussy surgery when we were supposed to fight. There's a video. But pull the video up at him in the hospital.
Starting point is 01:01:28 Oh, wait, no, we had part of his knee scope, didn't he? No, his hip. Pussy. Yeah, that fight was lined up when we had Dustin Porrier on in 2018. Right. Yeah, he's got a pussy. Pull the video when he was in the hospital and they fuck you, Nate, you know what I'm digs. If it was a pussy, I will say this, it looked just like a hip.
Starting point is 01:01:48 Pussy. Pussy removal. Didn't he say fuck you? Talking all that shit about steroids. Fuck you, Nate. He's on anesthesia. Yeah, bro. His penis was removed.
Starting point is 01:02:04 His penis was removed. Yeah, penis removed on surgery. So we didn't get to fight. Y'all like, did you? Was that one that like, did that... Let's make fun of him a little bit. Come on. Louisiana's pussy boy.
Starting point is 01:02:24 I'm kidding. It's all good, baby. Dustin, we love you. No, no. You're a pussy. You guys are one of those guys that... He quit his job and it was like, I don't want a box and a thing.
Starting point is 01:02:35 I'm like, why did you quit too early, stupid? He fucking was hurting it. He couldn't even move one of his legs. He's emotional. I mean, he didn't have much motion. He's emotional. His fucking, what is it? His fucking estrogen levels were high.
Starting point is 01:02:51 He got estrogen high. I would never want to get hit by his estrogen then. That's for sure, dude. If he rubs off, that's why I'm like, I'm cool. I'll find that. pussy because it rubs off it does you hang out with pussies
Starting point is 01:03:04 you know what if you fight one too and it's like you can fucking try to hold on to you too much you got pussy on me bro he's a fucking one of the toughest UFC fighters ever bro he's one of the great toy yeah whatever dude
Starting point is 01:03:20 I'm kidding no he's one of the great yeah he's done good all right I'll change your subject can't fight huh I'm kidding I'm just giving you shit Do you think Jake Paul will ever fight M.MA? Or do you think that's all just a kind of... And what you think I'm doing here?
Starting point is 01:03:35 I'm on the hunt. I'm going to take his ass clean out. I got to fight Perry. Get through the fight who's a really big task at hand. And then we get the Paul fight. And that'll be M.M.A. Yeah, we'll see. Time will tell, though.
Starting point is 01:03:55 And I ain't going to... But he said a lot that he's going to have fight MMA. Jake has said that. He says that. That's what he said. That's what he says. Well, see, I think he will, I think he will, though. I'm just saying, what are they saying?
Starting point is 01:04:11 Project it into a fucking existence. He does that good, so yeah. Speaking it into existence. Yeah, I think he will. Do you think Jake could win an M.MA fight? Not against him, no. We're going to do just a little bit of word association. We're going to put some pictures up with some guys and just throw the first word that comes into your head, Nate, on these guys.
Starting point is 01:04:30 Can I want that I'm ready for example? Yeah, sure. I'm ready for it. We've all been there. The watch party finally makes it out of the group chat and uh-oh, you volunteered to host.

Starting point is 01:06:36 That's the wife or the daughter? That's the wife. Michael Jackson married the daughter, right? That's the wife, dude. Speaking of groom. Yeah, speaking of grooming, bro. What did that mean, grooming? Grooming is when, like, somebody, uh...
Starting point is 01:06:49 Like, what do you mean, though? What do you mean? Grooming is, like, if somebody's, like... Like, when somebody ever is them or... Like, somebody, like, it becomes, like, when an adult becomes friends with a kid. Mm-hmm. So like when I was a bus boy, actually, it's true.
Starting point is 01:07:05 When I was a bus boy, I met this. Yeah, yeah. I met this dude. That was that grooming? I'm your grooming. Don't swap me. Stark you, stop. I got psyched and slept for grooming.
Starting point is 01:07:17 But grooming happens, bro. I thought it was going to shave. Because why? It's become a popular American pastime amongst a lot of our politicians. And I didn't get it until Andrew came in. He got groomed. He got groomed. He's the one who got groomed, bro.
Starting point is 01:07:31 All right. I ain't nobody got groomed, running. Okay. God damn it, Theo. I'm coming here no more. What about, what do you all think of the UFC
Starting point is 01:07:41 of the 250 card, the White House card? Who's on the card again? Pereira? Main events, Elliot to Perea and Justin Gae. Kyle Dawkes, Boe Nickel.
Starting point is 01:07:52 Pereira's on there, right? No, they, I think they wanted to do Pereira. I thought he was going to fight the game or something. Can you pull the card? Yeah, I think that's on. I think it's in a good guard.
Starting point is 01:08:06 Tepore Gagee. Parra Gansi. Shana Mali's in Menda. That's cool. It's going to be tough. Chandler's on there? Who? Where?
Starting point is 01:08:16 Where? Who's he fighting? Marisa Ruffy. Go to Nicol. Who the hell's Bonnecoe fighting? Diego Lopez? That's going to be dope. They're just pumping up by a nickel.
Starting point is 01:08:25 Who the hell is that guy? Kyle Dawkes from Philadelphia. He's good. Look at Diego Lopez, a little mustache. That's funny. That's a good picture, dude. That's hilarious, dude. They're doing, like, extensive background checks for people that are even going to the fights.
Starting point is 01:08:40 Do you think you guys would even be able to clear the background checks, do you think? Yeah, right away. I don't know. I go to Canada, and then my homies can get in. They all got D-U-Ass. I'm good. I'm flying colors, baby. And Trump's my...
Starting point is 01:08:54 Trump came to... When I fought Madidol was the first time my president ever came to a fight. Really? Yeah. I didn't know that I invited him Did you? Yeah I was like
Starting point is 01:09:06 Yo We found him for the baddest Motherfucker in the game belt Right here And he said I gotta go to that I'm like yeah Come through
Starting point is 01:09:14 Yeah I dabbed him up When he were walking out That was Anyways I've seen him With the fights was wild I'll take full responsibility For that one
Starting point is 01:09:21 Shit Who brought a president To a fight Nobody Mike Tyson No That he wasn't the president Then
Starting point is 01:09:27 Was he No No, when Mike doesn't fight. No, oh, yeah, hell, no, no. No, I just know Trump was at Mike Tyson fight that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, bring up some pictures. Do Ward Association.
Starting point is 01:09:39 Fire through some pictures here, Nick, first word. Nate, sorry, first word that comes into your head. Carter McGregor. Next. Next. Elijah Gutieres. That fight that. Pussy.
Starting point is 01:10:00 Champion. That's right, that we keep getting him up. I'm sorry, Dustin. when we're this plane. GSP. OG. Yeah, you go. Fasting.
Starting point is 01:10:14 He's the guy who taught me about fasting. Abnoxious. Gay. Hoto. What's Hoto? Yeah. Look it out. The Grinch.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Okay. Here you go. The man. Yeah, the man. Who's that? That's, Who is that? Well, that's Lindsey Graham.
Starting point is 01:10:47 He's the guy who, he's the guy who, everybody is saying is, that he's, like, just supporting Israel because they have proof on him that he's like, like,
Starting point is 01:10:56 like, like, closeted gay dude. I don't know. I'm gonna say, I don't know. Uh, poor,
Starting point is 01:11:02 he's the guy in the back fat, cat's cappuccetti. Yeah. Here's the clip. I didn't mean, do you like that, Eli? Hey,
Starting point is 01:11:08 Lizzie, why don't you just admit that you're gay and then people won't mock for you anymore. That's funny. You don't want. Why don't you just admit that you're gay? Hey, see that right there?
Starting point is 01:11:17 No deal. That's why people should learn jiu-jitsu. Right. You know what I'm saying? Right, if he'd have stepped up right then? Yeah, because I'm going to fuck you up for doing that to me. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:11:28 And what if you can't? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So why wouldn't he want to learn jiu-jitsu? Like everybody. Like girls, kids, everybody. Are your kids in jiu-jitsu? Yeah. Yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 01:11:42 Would you teach Lindsay Graham Jiu-Jitsu? The gay guy? No. Absolutely not. I'll send him to somebody, though. You guys know somebody in D.C. that could train him? I don't know anybody in D.C.
Starting point is 01:12:00 No. Or Virginia, maybe. Theo, talking to Mike. Okay. Do you ever honor what they asked for telling me you? Talking to Mike, what? Do you ever do you ever want to? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:12:13 I haven't trained enough. No. Yeah. But sometimes, you know, like, because my boy out there, I'll be like, hey, pick up your thing and fix your shirt.
Starting point is 01:12:22 I'm like, sorry, guys. I'm just trying to relate here a little bit. You know what is it? One, a great moment that you had after a fight. John, groan that boy.
Starting point is 01:12:37 I'm playing. A great moment you had after the fight with Michael Johnson when you called out Connor McGregor. And they took them, like, Rogan, like, kind of stopped you from talking to the mic. Did you have more you wanted to say on that?
Starting point is 01:12:47 Yeah, I was about to go off on everything. I was going to be like, bitch, rich motherfucker, I fight harder than you, a traitor harder than you, everybody. Fuck everyone here. Fuck your mama. Woo-woo, woo, but he stopped it with a good thing. Because anything could have happened, endorphins. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:03 I'm like, yo, I told you this was going to happen. So I would have went off and I'm glad it got stopped when it did. But then I was telling my brother, man, I shouldn't have said that because he said, Because he's like, who kids? My brother knew. He's like, who gives the fuck, bro? You think anybody didn't see that? Like, oh, yeah, I forgot.
Starting point is 01:13:19 So it worked out. It was good. Well, uh... Shout out to Joe. It was a good stoppage. Yeah, good stop. Because I could have said anything. It said just what I needed to say, if I would have kept going, I wouldn't embarrass myself.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Amen, bro. I already am kind of still was embarrassed about a little bit of it, but I always am, so it's cool. Well, like you say, you got, but you put it out there, bro, you know? you're running on endorphins, that's different. Will, um. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You have the confidence to say whatever, right? Yeah, no, I'll say anything.
Starting point is 01:13:49 Fuck everybody here. Like, what if they turn on you? I shouldn't have said that. Sorry, guys, I was high. I was high. Can you fight high or no? I wish. I was kind of high when I fought Pettis.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Not really. I smoked a fat blunt right before we walked in. I remember when we walked in Illinois. You know how I smoked weed now? Yeah, well, well, you can't just bring in the locker room and smoke at the commission, in front of the commission. So I got really high and then we walked in, but that was like an hour and a half, two hours before the fight. So I was lingering high, but it would be great to, when they're, when they're, when I was going to say when you walk out to smoke them up, but the best part would be to like smoke some right when they're going out in the boat corner, Stanax, five bad. Hurry up, please.
Starting point is 01:14:40 That'd be the best, I think. That's me right there. There you go. That's me. It is. Didn't that? That's me. Did you, because I know that Nick got part of his thing, his suspension was for weed, right?
Starting point is 01:14:57 Whenever he got suspended? You know what you should pull up is that one fight? Yeah, Nick got in trouble for weed. Can you guys pull up a fight? Who's that, that Hawaiian guy that you fought, that you went? Dink, cracked after a shocker. remember the guy who you hit after he knocked out and he cracked him with the
Starting point is 01:15:14 think about it I forget Drake Bowen pulling Chris Vila versus Drake Bowen and let's watch that I laugh at this fight every time that's hilarious that's funny Nick got suspended for
Starting point is 01:15:27 for five years or some shit like that when he was already fucking older and it was like ridiculous I forget the situation Was there ever a part where they were when you were like heavy in UFC? Yeah, yeah, why too?
Starting point is 01:15:44 Where you, oh here, let's watch it. Can you go to the end? Yeah, just go to the end. Oh, there's, hold on. It's coming. This is fun. All right, you can start it right here. Dink, what's up, realize, wise, wise, right?
Starting point is 01:15:57 Blam! I never get a win like that. I'm trying, though. Do one more time, repeat. That's fun. That's fun to watch. That makes you want to fight. That's not going to do to anybody who groomed me.
Starting point is 01:16:15 You almost had it against Leon Edwards. I know, I did almost get it. Leon fucking ass. Respectfully, do you have any regret for not going after him? I did go after. But you pointed after you rocked him. Let's clear it up. Put that fight on.
Starting point is 01:16:30 Put on in right that part. I'll show you. People don't understand. They just like to make that the narrative of what happened. Yeah, thanks, Nate. But don't forget to everybody. does so. Not good looking out, but everybody does, though. If you watch a fight, let's
Starting point is 01:16:43 take into consideration real quick. Let's take into consideration that this is 23 minutes of fighting in. Okay, and let me tell you beforehand, my eyes, my eyes right here, my eyes and right here, like
Starting point is 01:16:59 after a certain amount of time, I had sweat in my eyes, hold on, posit it. I had sweat in my eyes so I could see them. I could see them all completely clear. But, like, my eyes were all sweated out, and I couldn't see his eyes. So when he went like this, I thought he was playing with me. Because I couldn't see his eye, but if I could see his eyes, I could see that really
Starting point is 01:17:22 you could see some of these eyes that if they're conscious or not. And, like, when I cracked him, I thought he was, when I pointed out of him, I was like, ha, bitch, shut up. Because I thought he was playing with me. And I was like, I was like, oh, shit, he is fucked up. And then watch from, watch from that point. how many punches I throw and how much I actually really attack him. Let's see it.
Starting point is 01:17:43 But I was slow on it for sure at first. I couldn't see. My eyes were blurry. I could see perfect, but I couldn't see his eyes. I thought he was fucking with me. Like, oh, I'm knocked out. And I knew he had a minute left. So he was like, I'm going to get out of live.
Starting point is 01:17:59 I'm like, shut up, bitch. What? I was in Arizona, huh? Yeah, Arizona. That's fun. Yeah. Watch. Okay, it's happening.
Starting point is 01:18:07 Bing. Okay. One minute left. Now watch how many punches I throw from here on. Like, right now I'm realizing, oh, he is actually footed up. Okay, one. And he's grabbing a hold on. Ding.
Starting point is 01:18:18 I'm like, come here, bitch. What's up, motherfucker? Ding, ding, ding. Trying to get him. 24 minutes in, though. I'm not some fucking energetic first minute of the fight. Look, I'm chasing this fool. Get off me.
Starting point is 01:18:31 Come here, bitch. Look. What's up? You over here going to get out of life? No. I'm got you. What? Ding.
Starting point is 01:18:38 30 seconds. Look, I'm not chasing him. I'm trying to get his ass. You know what I'm saying? But, of course, I look at it and think what I could have done, but it's like, what it could have should. I was trying to get his ass. But initially when I socked his ass,
Starting point is 01:18:53 I couldn't see his eye than he went like down. I thought he just kind of doing that. Oh, he is fucked up. And I started chasing him down. So I wouldn't think, you just took a picture. And I thought, no, I wasn't even like that. I was trying to get him. I was fucking fighting for 24 minutes.
Starting point is 01:19:08 Hey, everybody, go fight for 24 minutes, then try to get a motherfucker. You know what I'm saying? Like, you'd be like the guy on Gladdy or peeing on himself. What fuck you're talking about? Fight me. But if it would have went on anymore, I would have finished that fool, too. But could have should have, and there's only 25 minutes to what you should have done. I knew that.
Starting point is 01:19:28 My bad. I was just clearing it out for other people. I knew. I know. That's my guy. I like the guy in the back. That's my boy right there. He knows dumb and dumber.
Starting point is 01:19:36 He knows all the references. That's my guy right there. What's your name again? Nick Davis across Wisconsin. Nick Davis from Wisconsin was popping. He liked the cheesehead. Green Bay Packers, huh? Look at a Niner Game.
Starting point is 01:19:48 Name a game. Is that your stuff, gang gang gang? That's your brand of it? Yeah. Yeah, shit, that's tight. We came in with that. And I'm upstairs. That's another one that we came through with.
Starting point is 01:20:00 This has been... Let me get a hat. We've been a good group. Oh, yeah, we got some pretty on the way out. Shoot me a hat to put on. Yeah, I'll trade you with... Gang, gang, gang. I'll trade you a hat for a ticket to your fight.
Starting point is 01:20:09 I want one. I got a ticket for you. Come on, man. You already know. You got a ticket from somebody anyway. But you and me, though. I'm going to get you a shirt. I can't wait.
Starting point is 01:20:17 Put me in the fucking. You got my shirt. I'm kidding. I'll get a Diaz shirt, bro. I'll get a Diaz army shirt. Dang, gang. I like the camera. Dude, perfect.
Starting point is 01:20:26 I'll get a Diaz. Who are you going for Chris? Yeah. What the phone? You guys left out Chris. That's cold. He added it again. Kevin Baker from Cheeseheads.
Starting point is 01:20:36 I'm just kidding. What's your name again? Nick. Nick Nick what You have the fights early Nick Davis Shout out of the Nick Davis
Starting point is 01:20:43 I love the hair Yeah They're cool It's the best bro These are cool house Just seeing all the people there Yeah thank you At the fights
Starting point is 01:20:51 That's cool you go to all the prelims And everything Because that's well You're gonna see Some of the better shit People don't even know what's happening Oh right That's tough
Starting point is 01:20:59 It looks tough Yeah it's good Huh Turn of the rat Why is it the rat Are you the rat? You're the rat You're the rat king
Starting point is 01:21:05 You're the rat king Yeah, they called me the Rat King. Whenever Brendan Sharpe and I had a podcast, he's called The King and the Sting, and they called me the Rat King because... Is Brendan Sharp still gay? I never... I'm kidding. I never been with him.
Starting point is 01:21:21 I got it with him. I never been with him. I mean, he's always seen his wife says he's straight. His wife says he's straight. That girl lying. No, man, but he gave me that nickname. And then that's kind of all... I've always been a phone.
Starting point is 01:21:37 fucking like I'm gonna survive no matter what bro. I'm playing with a... That's my whole idea. Brennan Shaw, I'm just talking. No, all good, bro. He's cool. We had a little differences, but that's just the name of the game. Yeah, that's the name of the game.
Starting point is 01:21:48 You guys do, that's part of it. You guys also have to be your own, uh... I have a real problem with, like, um, motherfucking, um... What, spelling? Analysts. I'll out spell you or anybody in the UFC, straight out. People don't know that about me. What's that?
Starting point is 01:22:06 Give me a word. Don't give me no word. Nick Davis was hunting the word right there. He was. What the fuck, Nick Davis? Hey, but I can't spell well good. I always shit out my girl. Like, watch this.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Shoot. Hey, yeah. What, uh... I don't like... I have a problem with... I have a problem with fighters who start analyzing... Is that what it's called, like, analysts,
Starting point is 01:22:33 or try to think they're Erie of Juania or some shit? But all the... Like, you... But those guys like... Chale Son, there's all those guys that talk about. I like Chale. Chale's my guy, though. But he, like, should have done that before even.
Starting point is 01:22:45 That's him. He should be, he should, that's the guy who should do it. But then everybody else starts thinking. And then what they do is they go out and give criticism to a fighter like an analyst. I'm like, bro, you weren't never even a fighter. If that's what you do, you're a bitch. And you're going to fucking analyze and talk about how fighters, on what they should do.
Starting point is 01:23:04 And you know it all? You know it all? What the fuck happened in your career then? Why are you analysts now, Mr. No-it-all? Why are you, Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, and the best of the best? Talking about negative about what I should do when I made more money than you ever made in your whole career
Starting point is 01:23:18 at any fight, Mr. Champion. Talking about D.C. and fucking... All of them. You're going to talk about people fighting? Those are the kind of motherfuckers who need their asses to be. Just a quick little thought for you. Fuck out. Fuck a fighter analyst, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:23:35 Shit, annoys the fuck out of me. Well, yeah. And we'll keep it moving. But they'll get themselves into shit like that too. Like Brandon Chob got his ass pumped a little bit because just because he does that stupid shit. I wouldn't talk about fighters. You know, unless it was to insult them
Starting point is 01:23:53 and be like, I'll beat your ass. I see what you're saying. You know what I'm saying? But you don't, so you would never get into, you would never be an analyst. Like, I went, if I wanted some funk, I would. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:24:05 If I wanted some funk with them, I'm like, okay, let's talk about fights. this five fucking sucks this dude's boring as shit I've never seen a single DC fight in my career except for when I was on the same car to this him one time and he was picking up the dude and walking around like he just
Starting point is 01:24:20 owned him like he was hell and tight like damn he's schooling that dude and then I look back at the screen and he was knocked out on his ass that's the only DC fight I ever saw and he wanted to talk about what I should do and how I'm not a good fighter and I should I'm like are you mad
Starting point is 01:24:36 because you were the champion and And like, when I was nowhere near champion, I got paid way more money than you. That's a fucking bitter little bitch who's analyzing fights. Who, Daniel Cormier? Yeah, all the analysts, though. I just saw the other than what. You don't like the analysts. I can't think of the names.
Starting point is 01:24:52 Well, I'm just saying they're putting yourself in a position to be roasted. But the bad part about it is is they get the favor of me talking and roasting on them. And that's what they wanted me to do. So I take it back, D.C. You cool. You're the man. He traded me one time a tub of popcorn for a third. thing of, um, beef, big thing of beef jerky.
Starting point is 01:25:12 And that was pretty, that's like, like, I don't know. As a fan, I like what those guys do, especially ringside because I need that information. I understand from another person you like to hear from the pros. Yes. So it's cool too. So I understand that too. But from a final perspective, I'm like, I wouldn't do it just for the, just for the, the, um, respect I have for the arts.
Starting point is 01:25:37 I'm like, you're a great wrestler, D.C. You can't fight for shit. You win fights, but you're not. You're a fucking big old pussy. Remember he cried? I didn't see him crying. He got knocked up by Johnny and he cried. I would.
Starting point is 01:25:53 And he always got, and his record sucks. I'm like, you cried. I didn't mean to even talk about it. No, it's okay, bro. We can cut that out. Fuck! Cut that out, bro.
Starting point is 01:26:05 I'm serious. We can do whatever. We can cut it out. It happened. I'm kidding. It happened. I did want to ask you... Shoot the shit.
Starting point is 01:26:12 I did want to ask you. We're going to talk about the busboy movie and you guys acting experience because I know there was a lot of it. What's the busboy movie? It's this movie we did. Who was in it? A couple gooners.
Starting point is 01:26:24 Gooners. A couple fucking gooners, bro. From outside of... A couple goodies. A couple goodies. From outside of Modesto. Um... Outside of Minnesota.
Starting point is 01:26:34 Stank. No, I did want to ask... Was there ever a point? Though, because we talked briefly about Nick got sent out for weed. I did want to ask you, was there ever a point where you tried in your own negotiations to see if they would like, like you were able to grant, like get him back into the UFC? And if that's something that's inappropriate. No, I didn't, I never even thought about even, how would I get them in?
Starting point is 01:26:59 I never even thought about it. It was like, you know, like when the cops take you to jail and I don't want you to go to jail, I'm like, I know I can't get you out. I ain't talking to cops. So that's probably the situation. I didn't even think about it. Oh shit, they kicked my, that fuck. But what was that going to do?
Starting point is 01:27:14 I just didn't know if you had it, because you're just such a name in such a... Yeah, but even then, though, I don't think I was as big as the name TV when having the effect. And even though, even if I am now, right now how I am, I don't think I could help that, you know? I'm not going to go fucking go ahead to the commission. They're going to do me or him in the game. Oh, so it wasn't just up to the UFC. It was a commission thing. It wasn't the UFC at all.
Starting point is 01:27:38 I think it was the commission, right? That's on me then. I don't know. I didn't even thought about it like that. But yeah. I couldn't. Will Nick help you train in this? Do you guys still train together?
Starting point is 01:27:50 Yeah, he'll pop in and get me up about everything I suck at. That's what he does. So that's what I need him for too. So it's perfect. Hell yeah, bro. It's so cool that you have a brother. All right. Let's talk about,
Starting point is 01:28:04 let's talk about bus boys, the movie. What was y'all's acting experience? Be honest with me. me, bro. Because y'all's manager told me you guys that acting experience. What was y'all's acting experience? He told you that? Yeah, he did.
Starting point is 01:28:17 We don't have any acting experience. We keep it real. Oh, damn. Do you have any acting experience? No. Real. That's the best. I don't have any acting experience.
Starting point is 01:28:32 We never act at a fucking moment. Hey, but now I do. Facts, bro. Let's go. Shut out to Theo. Now I do. All right, let's look at some bloopers from the movie from Bus Boys, man. And thank you guys so much, bro.
Starting point is 01:28:45 Hey, first and foremost, before this even happens, I'm embarrassed. Yeah, yeah, same. Nah, dude. And I do want to tell people this, though. Go, if you, if, what David and I try to do is we wrote this ourselves, we paid for it ourselves, right? So we want to try to change the game of how we didn't go to a studio. Nobody's, we don't, there's no big dogs in this kennel, right? We just have, we did this on our own and we got.
Starting point is 01:29:10 great friends that were able to come in and help out like you guys who are, you know, just coming in and being a part of it. And so we need people to go and buy tickets early because then they'll add it to other theaters. Look at two motherfuckers don't know what they're doing. And then if people will go get tickets early, we can add it to more theaters.
Starting point is 01:29:27 So I just want to let people know that in advance. All right, let's check out a little. Let's check out some of you guys. This is just some behind-the-scenes stuff. You can find where it's playing busboysmovie.com. Busboysmovie. Yo, you fuck out of his neighborhood. You know, that reposition, Chris, come over here right here by the door, you're good?
Starting point is 01:29:51 Stupid. Sorry. All right, you get in the back feet. Yeah, I know. Fuck out of you. Fuck out of you, bitch. Fuck you guys do that. How's my aunt's car, bro?
Starting point is 01:30:06 My ass car. Your ass probably going to like that. Yeah, you want to die, pussy's? That's cool. That's funny. He got the mirror. Get in a car. I got to get gas.
Starting point is 01:30:19 All right, right, right. Sorry. Yeah, you can move side to side, but don't come more forward than that. What? Fuck, what. He gets in the back. You running away? Donnie, bitch.
Starting point is 01:30:31 Okay, hold on. Leave it started. Leave it started. It's good. It's good. It's good. Bitch, yeah. Fuck yo.
Starting point is 01:30:42 Yeah, you better run. What, bitch? We're gonna do better. You gotta eat little shit. You're pulling up. Fuck you, you, that's hit you off. I'm gonna hit you up.
Starting point is 01:30:53 My ass and be fucking pissed. That's not even acting. That's just being me. Oh, that's embarrassing. That's what they expect out of it. That's what the worst part. Her favorite CD was in there. Fuck.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Oh, fucker TV. I got you. Let's go. Fuck them. You all right. Fuck them, fuck them, fuck you.
Starting point is 01:31:17 We should have kept that car. I know. That car would have been coated. Fucking cock. Take David's face. David's face a man. Do not take those guys to an apple bees. Who's that?
Starting point is 01:31:40 Get up, Theo. Get up, Theo. Bro. That was fun that part. That was fun. You were tight up. Remember that? That was cool.
Starting point is 01:31:47 Yeah, dude. And then there was like, you guys were hilarious, bro. Because y'all would sit outside. The car would just be fucking, some type of music would be playing. Smoke would be in there. And we'd be like, okay, are you guys ready to go? Oh, yeah, yeah. That was fun.
Starting point is 01:32:00 It was it, bro. How did you guys feel like doing it and how do you feel after it? Would it be something you'd want to do again? Yeah, it was cool. It was a good experience. I never acted either show. I was like, wow. Why that might be doing?
Starting point is 01:32:12 How do you feel about an ink? I felt like I wished that I could have done it again and do it all over again. Because it was a cool experience and I didn't think about it at the time I was thinking like it was work. Like, man, what are we doing here? We got to be acting and stuff. And then when I laughed, I thought that was actually really cool. And then I saw the clips that you guys sent us to. And my daughter the whole time has been like, do I get to see the movie you in?
Starting point is 01:32:39 And then I watch the clips, I was like, damn, I already told her, yeah. I'm just being like, fuck you, motherfucker. And it's like, so I'm not allowed to see it, though, because she has. But now I have to come back and be a good, now I have to come back and be a good guy. Yeah. If I come back, because by a lesson learned and evolution, now I know, now I know. Now I know, okay, I'm going to do this. I want to be a good guy.
Starting point is 01:33:05 Yeah. Or a medium guy. That's fair to be At least I think being a medium guy is pretty good Had you ever had you been a person But it was fun do
Starting point is 01:33:13 It was cool Dude that's how I have fun to hang out with you And we get David Spade Bro, that's legendary Bro, that's fucking the guy So I know That's how When I think back on it too
Starting point is 01:33:23 I'm like man I wish there was a way That I could make more of like Just to have been there with Spade You know It was just crazy bro Yeah now that's way cool Yeah
Starting point is 01:33:31 It's cool that Spade's still around Doing what he's doing Bro That guy's been around forever And that's the man He's a fucking boss Oh yeah hilarious.
Starting point is 01:33:38 Tommy boy. Was there other movies that you got offered to be in? They offered me to be in Roadhouse. They called Roadhouse, the one that Connor McGregor did. They offered me that part that Connor did. I didn't do that
Starting point is 01:33:54 because I ain't losing no fight to no gay. Jake Jindal broke back mountain ass. But if I could beat him in the fight, then yeah, but I was like going to lose no fight. no broke back mound. Yeah. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:34:10 But it would have been cool too to do that, but I'm glad I'd still stick to my word. I wouldn't have done that. And it's easy to be gay on a fucking mountain. Try being gay at fucking sea level all the real motherfuckers are. Deal with somebody who might punch out. But, so I got offered that part.
Starting point is 01:34:26 They did a movie in Stockton when Leonardo DiCaprio. That just came out. Oh, what is that movie cool? I'm not trying to brag, but they did it. But I didn't get into it, but I should have, that would have been way cool to do. What is that?
Starting point is 01:34:39 Now I'm more interested that this all happened and I did your thing. I'm like, now I'm like, okay, I want to do over. And now I want to be,
Starting point is 01:34:47 now I want to do some cool. But I just want to be like, you know, I want to be like a Spanish teacher or a doctor or somebody. Somebody nice. You know what I'm saying? I don't need to be all that meme.
Starting point is 01:34:58 Goet fucking peaking on people. At least we got to punk you and David Spade a little bit. That's all. Bro. I didn't want to punch you. you guys, but I'm just... No, dude, this shit was hilarious, bro.
Starting point is 01:35:09 The best parts were hanging out just with Bobby Lee being around him. The fun part was going there and seeing it all happened. You were there and President David was there and a bunch of guys on the set were hell of cool too. I couldn't even believe it was a real movie until the first day I got there because we just been doing emails and shit.
Starting point is 01:35:23 Remember when we throw the guy in the trunk? Yeah. That shit was hilarious. That was that guy's? That was the one we first showed up. You were like, yeah, you threw him in the truck. I'm like, what? It was some honky.
Starting point is 01:35:31 I thought I was going to come in there and be some romantic guy and going on a day would have gone to movie. And then they're like, you just got to, remember you guys were telling us the lines? They were telling us the lines and I was like, and I was hell early. And I was reading it and I was like, the way they were having me talk was all weird and shit because I was reading lines. And then I got to the point after we did a couple of takes and you're like, no, look, dude.
Starting point is 01:35:54 I'm like, oh, you guys want us to punk you. Yeah. You guys want us to punk the fuck out of you, like some little bitches. Okay. Hey, Chris. And they just want us to punk the fuck out of you. Let's just punk their ass. And so then I mean, you watch this and we're like, hey, fuck you.
Starting point is 01:36:09 Fuck bitch-ass, motherfuckers. I seen people get punks, you're like, let's punk these guys. You guys are the only people that know that can say, fuck you, like 70 different ways. That was embarrassing. My girl, my daughter wants to see it. You know what we'll do? She's going to see it. We have a cartoon.
Starting point is 01:36:24 I told her she can see it. We created a cool cartoon animation that we'll do as well. I'll make sure to send you that. You can show with that. The busboys version? Yeah. Or it was like something else. of you got like the characters.
Starting point is 01:36:38 That's cool. So that would be something you could show her for sure. Well, how about, and how about this, dude? If we do another one, if we do another movie, we'll come back, we'll give you guys a more... Thank God. Different type of character.
Starting point is 01:36:55 Maybe a baker or something. Yeah. I like that. Yeah. A savant. Say chef, though. Okay. Say chef.
Starting point is 01:37:06 I don't want any good. Be no bitch-ass baker. Yeah, fuck that shit. Fuck that. Bartagnar. Baker. Oh, dude, what if it's the Stockton Doctors after we'll have, we'll do a movie called
Starting point is 01:37:19 The Stockton Doctors? You guys. Yeah, but let's throw them off and I'll be a chiropractor. I don't know what that meant. Did I just disc chiropractors? That's fucked up. No, dude, I don't even know. This is as high as I've been in fucking 11 years.
Starting point is 01:37:36 This is fucking great. You're sober. Let's hit a new story, man, and then we'll get you guys out of here, bro. Fuck, I'm ready for the fight, dude. What fight? Yours and yours. I'm ready to fucking see you guys.
Starting point is 01:37:49 Let's go. Versenkins, versus Mike Perry. I'm ready to see this shit. Quadriple amputee, professional coronal, what did they say? Cornhole. Oh, yeah, I saw this earlier. He got no arms or legs.
Starting point is 01:38:01 Yeah. I don't understand. Quadruple amputee, professional coronel player faces murder charges. Hornhole player with no hands and no legs is accused of firing a deadly shot all while driving We want to get out to our home a back What the flair? That really happened? You could be a defense attorney right there. That's it. That's your next role Yeah, yeah, he's out. He's free
Starting point is 01:38:24 Let him alone now even if he didn't let him go Let's see what they say here. Let's see what they say Not really no let him go And bizarre to say the least but before we get any further into this story, I just want to try to answer the question that so many people have right now.
