When your guest guesses that both Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have won the European Cup/UEFA Champions League - before either team made the Champions League Final!   This episode was recorded in 2020, just before PSG made their first Champions League Final appearance (they finally won it in 2025) and a year before City's first Final appearance (they won in 2023). From our second episode with Lucas Stoneking and Daniel Rains, which was also a Fringe Festival episode.

How many European Champions League slash European Cup winners, just the clubs, could you name? Well, I'd say, I don't know, maybe a couple. Like Manchester United? Man City, Manchester United? Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, I don't know if Tottenham Hospers are won. I don't think so. What's the other one? Chelsea.

Okay. So of those clubs you mentioned, yes, the two great satans of English football have won at least once. Mani and United have three and Chelsky have won. Nancy's never been to a final.

Whoa. Yeah. They always seemingly were like heavy hitters. Well, in terms of England, yeah, city are heavy hitters. but in terms of Europe. The big scope of it, yeah, true. True, true that.
