Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey Um-Dum-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-dun Turn it up It's time to go I'm not gonna be on camera But my brother is here We've contributed at one point Is pick up Conrad
Starting point is 00:03:02 Stop at that Stop at that diner Not too far from his house And find out they had a new Heights sandwich We had posted to Reddit And not even Aaron Travis is a butcher my username on
Starting point is 00:03:26 Reddit and be reading my post verbatim ingredients in that that spawned was now a running joke on that podcast and it's trying to get Travis to not be disgusted by mayonnaise coverage which is coupled by his
Starting point is 00:03:56 Mayo ASMR which I'm not going to attempts to do here sorry we are behind a garbage truck as I'm driving. But I got in the New Heights about the same time because this is when you were starting your
Starting point is 00:04:14 treatment. And it's about the time when Travis went public with Taylor. So I went back and I went back. Both segments I really liked. Like, how many holes
Starting point is 00:04:32 is a straw half? Which had devolved to his hot dog, a sandwich. Here's a taco's a sandwich. fucking burritos a sandwich. Still funny that a simple question, but what I'm strong is one hole or two holes can cause that much debates
Starting point is 00:05:02 and talk about the nature of sandwiches. And the other club that I really likes from around was Jason's painful analysis of the Twilight series. Yeah, this would be the series of vampire movies. The creator of which is LDS. Jason just get painful detail to this movie series that he himself said he didn't like it. I thought it was absolutely terrible and said that this movie shouldn't exist. And Travis being tortured by this painful description.
Starting point is 00:06:02 Funny stuff. But I'm glad he told me about it because I still enjoy listening to it from time. times of time, especially when it comes out to fresh and everything. And this is coming from someone who's not even a Chiefs fan or, or Tendagon, I'm not Philly fan either, but still good stuff to listen to. And I think it's interesting, the two most, uh, listened, uh, the two most, two most watched episodes rather of that podcast involved their
Starting point is 00:06:48 with all the brothers as significant others so at the time I'm recording this number one on that podcast is Taylor Swift 24 million views 10 million within the first
Starting point is 00:07:05 24 hours of that episode being posted live streamed everything he has to do, watch the live stream, and I think it is. Hey, I appreciate her in her side of how she and Travis met. It's just a, I want to tell you. Here in the insights of how music ownership works,
Starting point is 00:07:39 her talking about making sourdough bread and announcing her 12th album in that episode, which I've heard every song on that album, Fado Ophelia is the best song on that album. My opinion, but I'll be honest, I like wood to. That was another funny moment, was Jason making fun of Travis over that song, Wood. Redwood tree in Arnesi. And Spawning at another recent meme where he's comparing himself to Japanese maple trees.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Number two is Jason's wife, Kylie. Noble for a couple of things. One, the intro where she's off-camera just going, I am not nervous, I just don't want to do this. Infuse and spawned a podcast of its own with Kylie, and number three at six million is Patrick Mollum's so I do recommend listening even if you're not a fan of either of those two teams I would suggest to listen to it because it's it's fun it's two brothers that just talking about football and talking about life in general and and recently they've been interviewing all different types of guests a different actor and musicians and fellow athletes.
Starting point is 00:09:42 So I do highly recommend. I think that I'll do for this particular post. We will see a letter. I didn't say have you veterans out there. I'm not drinking and driving. This is energy drink for your service too. And I say this is, I don't know if I qualify really as a veteran. and I was in the Navy for, I don't think that's long enough to constitute.
Starting point is 00:11:05 To you, be clear not, be going to friends of the podcast who I know have served. The rest of us, uh, council. How's everybody doing this engine? It currently, I, um, yeah, I'm here at the chess club office and, uh, you know what? How about we, uh, take a, uh, good sort. That's place. So, so, your place, when you see this. we got chairs up
Starting point is 00:12:19 I'll up it down when the door is closed we have this they come in you see we have three tables set up with two boards apiece chess player parking only
Starting point is 00:12:42 because there's a friend of the podcast Conrado in that photos and we are display more on some stuff so this game is a friend of the podcast Nick Manley
Starting point is 00:13:04 playing a day on Yovalich who's a Sporting KC player check out that video this is another friend of the podcast Dalton Chavez playing the same guy both the same day and
Starting point is 00:13:21 credit to the Ovalich team for providing the games there so yes that is a Fisher another one with Conrado and over here we have the world chest champs the first few from Steinitz all the way to Casparov his last one and we don't have anyone after Kasparov well is not the photos right here is my desk for one here
Starting point is 00:14:00 All the setup, this is a photo of the World Chess Hall Fame in St. Louis across the street from the St. Las Chess Club. This giant king right there is the world's tallest chess piece. And we've got our bulletin board here. So here's our anti-cheating thing with Sedacas quit cheating. I'll start smacking. And right next to it, it's a, just printed a bunch of long, no water cooler. Water cooler's right here. See the cups on top.
Starting point is 00:14:38 And no wireballs. This means you, me. All right. So that's the grand tour at the chess club office. We do have cases in the restrooms. And now, if you're ever in KC, just stop by here. We're at the corner of North Oak and Englewood in Kansas City's Northland. On the southeast corner, you can park on the back side and just walk right in.
Starting point is 00:15:18 And coming here on the Tuesday or Saturday, at least until for the notice, you'll see me. here so all right bees hey guys so one more video for today friend of the podcast Dalton is here coach doll yeah and yeah you're getting ready for chess school here indeed going over the lessons yeah absolutely yeah a little rehearsal in my head and with this Dalton joins the three-timers club We had his interview earlier. Check that out. And he showed up late to the chess notation,
Starting point is 00:16:14 which you didn't know I was recording that, but now he do. So we were recording that. I'd definitely go on YouTube. Check out his game against the sporting player. Yeah. Aon. It serves me up.
Starting point is 00:16:33 Yeah, there you do. All right. Well, peace everybody. Check this up. This is that view, folks. That is Interstate's 470 that you're looking in right there. My workplace for this morning.
Starting point is 00:17:21 There will be more today. It's Legend Asia, Chinese buffet, and Blue Springs. So we've got beef and broccoli. low main noodles french shrimp that's salad there mac and cheese tempera broccoli chicken skewer and chicken doublin and chicken doublin so all right that's lunch today uh yep later generation is in the place once again welcome to our net pot pome or uh month of november yeah we're getting along of stuff recorded here.
Starting point is 00:18:30 So a while back, we learned about the state of Oklahoma forcing teachers from pretty much anywhere else, but especially place in New York and California, moving to Colorado. If they wanted to teach, no, not Colorado, Oklahoma. If they wanted to teach in Oklahoma, they had to take this civics test, if we will, put together by Prager U. Well, I took that test just to prove, well, to see what the fuss was about. It's not a quiz. It is literally a right-wing indoctrination thing. You can't get any answers wrong because they'll make you redo the question.
Starting point is 00:19:22 every time you give a wrong answer. I recorded that for the podcast. That will be coming up in season 10. And you can actually see the video because I recorded video with this. On our YouTube channel, our YouTube channel is simply uncalled for video interviews. Anyway, those bastards sent me this in the mail today. I had to block out my address there. The reason why Charlie Kirk is take his upcoming book to Dennis Prager, I have not opened to this yet.
Starting point is 00:20:03 We're going to open this now. By the way, Dennis Prager can go fuck himself. I agree with absolutely nothing that these people are about. And I think they are a danger to society as our most. right-wing media in this country. And they, first of all, send me a reply envelope. Okay, so let's read this shit. So this is excerpts from David Prager's recent interview with Dennis Prager.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Recorded August 26, 25, 9.5. months since his spinal cord injury I was not aware there was a spinal cord injury involves here how are you feeling I want to ask you dad oh god this this some bitch procreated in general relative to how you've been since the accident how are you currently feeling Dennis, I tell people it's a very complex question. I'm paralyzed from just below the shoulders to my toes. You don't want to wish bad things to happen like this, but it happened.
Starting point is 00:21:47 I can't remove my arms or my legs. That's a heavy blow to someone who's traveled the world regularly. Lectured all over the place, mostly lies. and flew on average every week of the year. And there's no denying that, on the other hand, I speak better than I have most of the time since November 12. When I fell in the bathroom of my home slipping out of the shower, wet on a wood floor,
Starting point is 00:22:25 my biggest bouts as November has been to breathe well. The spinal cord controls so much of our body, and that includes breathing. I feel a Big Bang Theory joke coming here. Yeah. Yeah. So I've been working very hard, along with the doctors, nurses, and others, to enable me to breathe normally. And I'm getting there. So in that sense, I'm doing well.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Everything in perspective. What do you come? What do you? concentrate on what you've lost or what you've gained. Have you gained the ability to tell the truth there, pal? Okay, next depression. I am not going to read this. Realizations.
Starting point is 00:23:24 Okay. I'm being loved, loving God. All right. I think we can torture us here. So we'll do realizations because I'm pretty sure. there's going to be a lot of bullshit here so then david the next question i have for you is about realizations that you've had since your injury that these full shit of what i didn't think you'd have too many because you've said you largely knew yourself prior to this injury
Starting point is 00:24:09 but one of those that you said was that you've developed a higher sense of empathy for those suffering. This is answer. So I have a lot to say about that first. I wouldn't say that there were new realizations, their heightened realizations. I'll explain, but I just wanted to make that clear. and on again with the empathy issue that I've talked with you about. I have always, I wrote about it, I spoke about it on the radio, had a very strong sense of effects of evil and of disease on undeserving people like Prigger. One of the reasons I have devoted much of my life to fighting evil is my sympathy for its victory.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Funny, I hear about what you're all about, and in my very strong observation, I think you are evil. Continuing. Stalin famously said or infamously said, one death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic. He was right, for most people. I don't see this as a criticism. just an observation when many people killed does not mean more than a hundred thousand even though it's ten times as many I think for example when I lie here on my hospital bed that there are people 24-7 working to save me and to reduce my pain and then I think of people
Starting point is 00:26:00 tortured where they lie maybe on the floor maybe in some awful mattress and people are working 24-7 to inflict extruseating pain on them. Okay, we're going to skip being loved and loving God. We're going to skip all the way to on Israel, and I guarantee you we're not going to agree on this. So I'll give you one about Israel. Israel at the time is the most widely hated country in the world. Why do you think that is? Moron.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Given the fact that Israel is one of the most decent countries in the world, what? For example, one of the greatest experts on urban warfare. A professor at West Point has said that Israel is one of the most decent countries in the world with regards to urban warfare. And given the fact that the charge of genocide is the greatest liable, it's, oh, okay, I'm done reading the this. I'm done reading this garbage. You're going to defend genocide. Fuck you.
Starting point is 00:27:31 And then here's another one. Immediate reply. How about I just sends back with fuck off and get me off your email list. That will not be happening. uh all right and uh this one okay we're going
Starting point is 00:28:04 i'll go on and read this one because this was addressed to me specifically dear michael we are all deeply concerned about conservative players being taken off the board i'm not conservative never have been i never claimed to be all right so where the fuck do you get this idea that i am i'm about as far from a conservative as you can get yeah Too many patriots. Okay, stop there. Do not use that word in association with yourself because you are not. You have demonstrated time again that you are not patriots.
Starting point is 00:28:40 So stop it. I've been silence canceled, physically assaulted, and in the case of our beloved Charlie Kirk, fuck Charlie Kirk. He didn't deserve to die, but fuck him. Assassinated for simply speaking the truth to young people. No, he was speaking. lies and bigotry. All right.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Attempts to silence us will only make us bolder and more convicted. That is why it has never been more important to amplify our voices influence and those yet to be, okay. And
Starting point is 00:29:20 I'm going to stop you there because this is garbage. All right. and state of Oklahoma do the right thing and stop giving that that bullshit indoctrination test
Starting point is 00:29:40 this breaker you do not ever send this shit to me again okay and that is going to do it I'm just I'm disgusted So, all right.
Starting point is 00:30:03 Peace. Thursday, 13th. We might get another one today because I'm doing it. It's today. The first is a duolingo. A duolingo for those who don't, you can say a language learning app. I would say it's a good app to use
Starting point is 00:31:21 if you're doing remedial stuff or trying to remind yourself to venues and it lately to brush up on my Nihongo. For those who don't know with the whole, I also have Spanish lessons on there. A few languages in Esperance or other. But in terms of Pratt, actual languages, I guess Spanish, that's relatively easy for English speaker. English speakers. It still astonishes me. That's all English on me. America, you speak English.
Starting point is 00:32:36 How many state may, was that direction? From Spanish, the country like most of the South, the entire Southwest, we gained from Mexico, probably in your history before you stay stupid things like we speak English. Your American place names are in Spanish. like Los Angeles, our second biggest city. I'm pretty sure that's Spanish, you know, Los Angeles, the Angels, the Angels. Pretty sure they're a lot of Spanish names throughout. Certainly I brought a country. Florida, also the Spanish territory.
Starting point is 00:33:48 Spanish, Hispanic, his Spanish, is very facile for speakers. Nihongo will say is the most difficult language. If you say that, it's different, it's different, but, no, it's the pronunciation. By the way, the vowel pronunciations in both Spanish and Japanese are identical. Spanish and you get the vowels, right? You know, you got that part of Japanese out of the way. I think a lot of people think Japanese is hard because of the kanji. Right, you're right in Hiragana and Katakana.
Starting point is 00:35:01 You should be fine. Kanji, the Chinese characters, you don't even know as many, one, to you can write just about any word in Yatana, Kafkaana and still be and even further
Starting point is 00:35:16 you can write them in Romachi and Sillia all right Romaji being the Latin alphabet in English and Spanish and Alama which is anyone difficult
Starting point is 00:35:28 I would like to introduce it to Polish but back to to Duolingo they now offer chess lessons and I have I designed you out of tracts on these chest lessons.
Starting point is 00:35:46 And if you're based of your entire chest knowledge on the lessons on Duolingo, I got any news for you. Those lessons are not entirely useless. They are garage.
Starting point is 00:36:01 Use at your own risk. I will say if you want actual chess lessons, I was justJest.com. Actual chest lessons. there or if you have the minds
Starting point is 00:36:23 do so find a chess instructor then take lessons there lessons so can see chesscope.com but the other thing you may have heard
Starting point is 00:36:50 that Daniel Naredeski the chess grandmaster who died recently it wasn't even 30 yet he died he died he died
Starting point is 00:37:03 And they haven't really see the cause of his death. I think it's safe to say he may have OD'd or committed suicide. But I hear the back story of another Grandmaster of Vladimir Kramnik, who was a world just champion, the first to reunite the title. So he's the start after Casparov, he'd be the next one undisputed. Found by Anand Carlson, Ding, and the current guy, Goukesh. Nick, though, this guy is a piece of work, let me tell you. He led Anerdeski to commit to him his early grave accusation of cheating.
Starting point is 00:38:12 with them. Uh, baselessly, I think, um, I don't know the specifics, but if you're, but,
Starting point is 00:38:21 uh, that's only as worst. Uh, driving me in. So, uh, that's just wrong. So,
Starting point is 00:38:34 I don't know, as a complicit in this guy's, uh, untimely death. But, uh, if I'm cram-neck,
Starting point is 00:38:42 I'm shutting the fuck up about, uh, cheating because, uh, you know, I talked about sweet night
Starting point is 00:38:48 in the titles. there was an incident involved with that called Toilets game which Cramnik participated in he was the guilty party for what happened was it was that world chess championship one of the players it was identified as Cramneck not total of a lot it was the other guy
Starting point is 00:39:23 Keep going to the bathroom during the match. After that match, I guess there was some complaining going on. And they found a cell phone or some device in that bathroom stall. This motherfucker was going to the bathroom to cheat. and chess so so yeah mid
Starting point is 00:40:03 tournament they they um they uh yeah you're both using the same bathroom and uh no phones
Starting point is 00:40:12 we'll be checking Miss Neiman forgot that part about getting caught all right so that's what I want to talk about today
Starting point is 00:40:30 Oh, on the subject to chess, you will find me at the Kansas City Jusco tomorrow night. And on Saturday. Well, Saturday, as usual, my usual hours, but on, bye, we'll be there tomorrow. And my long has the shirt right now, up the villa. Up the Villa is sixth place in the prim. And so up the villa. So, just finished DoorDash. Got a bonus sandwich.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Slotskis. They asked up on someone's order, so they let me add this. Because this has a salami on it, and I've never, in 47 years I've never had anything with salami, because it just doesn't appeal to me. But a sandwich is still warm. Is that, oh, are you fucking jimmy? There's olives on this thing, too? Okay.
Starting point is 00:42:14 Also, something else I can't really stand. Well, we could go back to a picky eater test and try to find that. What else on this thing and this here? Just need to my reaction to this fucking sandwich. But shot to Schlazky's where at least sit. Give me the option of taking this off your hands. All right. We do the cardboard corner cafe in Ovalon Park and some food prawn we can get behind.
Starting point is 00:43:33 Ships and dip. Usually this has guacamole, but I'm allergic to avocano. And the idea is to meet Brand later to play that game. Get my glass out of the way. And then bring it get soon, we'll do another thing and we'll get a game started soon. Or I might do another one. and show you the game itself. Back at the cardboard corner,
Starting point is 00:44:19 I'm playing save the smash up copy that I have. So here we go. Alright, we'll start with the, okay, so the D20s, these are not standard, those playtests thing. There's a coin for, they're playing with a goblin faction. Those are the player, Tokyo. Those are hump chips and also done it for the two. also done this three points these we're going to put the base cars on these and these are
Starting point is 00:44:55 power can break point for each be so we're going to do this is the big board that'd be that'd be a that be a certain mode that we should don't play with but we and that these are all the rule books so this is the uh this comes with the uh with the box there construction pamphs from from the box four and let me show you something really neat there's me and then right here these are randomizer tokens that have more point tokens more base pads extra sleeves because sleeve everything and sleeves break down over time and now it comes to the actual cards so starting with our bases on jett base card real quick this is on the base game breakpoint that's how much medium power has to be on base that's
Starting point is 00:46:18 the name of the base uh 436 137 first place which we're 6 place which points third place vector points and each base has different ability because i have it for at these for all of the sets so that's the basic game right here we have a madness which only comes in the play if there's a catholic and they're all and they're all the same draw two guards or return this to the madness deck if we're playing with The Munchkin expansion. We had monsters and treasures. And this is action heroes.
Starting point is 00:47:08 This is a playtest copy of the house that with geckos. I will be gaining the final version, but that's our base. That's our playtest for now. Aladdin, Alien, Anonzi Tales, and Egyptians. ancient Incas, Astronites, that's Star Wars, Adventures, that's Back to the Future. And Big Hero 6, first trough, okay, so the second trough, we have the change her bots, that's Transformers. That are clowns, I'll begin to event, eventually two other kind of apes. That's good dancers.
Starting point is 00:47:57 other things geeks this is one of my favorite factions the geeks which has a Will Wheaton in it G.I. Gerald will begin that adventure but it's a basic G.I. Jill. Okay, my pep-pe-peh. That's trot two through the Cree. All right. And drop three, we start with Kung Fighters, Lion King. One of Amazitha Kthu, that's one of my favorite. And I have a ninja. So, notes A&G, the plural of Ninja is Ninja, not Ninjas.
Starting point is 00:48:46 Orcs, the guys have the towns to do nothing. Prong them and Chis. these two are coming eventually on Asians oh Russian fairy tails always a good one and the last shruff sheep and there is a wood for sheep card
Starting point is 00:49:13 slasher's this might have turned around because that's not that amount I did share with the shit sumo is a fun one Terry bears and motherfucking Terry bears. As you see, they are half-beckle. So, yeah, Brian will be here shortly, and we will get some of the We're about to do a smash-up.
Starting point is 00:50:04 I got Brianne here from the podcast. Welcome to the Three-Timers Club. And what factors are you doing? I'm doing Astronite. and ancient eagles. And astronauts are similar to you, legally disdain from Star Wars. And I am doing, I'll be shuffling them in the same, but this is geeks and sumo wrestlers. So, thank you.
Starting point is 00:50:32 So it makes these looks like we're doing Anansi's Wed. Great point is 17. We're doing the Aston Saint-Ger Race. the transformation spring. That's it, let's have a good game. Let me finish. Let me finish, thank you. It's a folly yard game from two sides.
Starting point is 00:54:31 You have pins set up to throw. Our object is to have all the center pin, only the center pin. You knock that down on the first throw. It's a great workout in high school. school. Once I'm about tonight is I was a yeah called to office tonight. It affects podcast. So you'd say they want to freeze out Lipson. Lipson 5. Cool shit I could do with Lipson 4. Think Lipson 4 is he's guys decided he wanted to tellgate me and if I can't see the bottom, I can't see your tires. If you're behind me I can't see the tires meet the road. You're too
Starting point is 00:58:15 fucking close. All right. That's what this guy. Halfway through the month happy November 15 and yeah we're going to talking about what I was a bitching about yesterday with lips and changing the platform on us so here is important interface update notice try the latest version today the legacy publishing interface will be updated in early 2026 check out the latest version today. So, in fact, I find it clunky and difficult to use. But we continue. The Virginie are used. Using the Libson 4 interface will automatically update to the latest version of Libson in early 2026. Starting point is 01:02:15 Lipsin for and clearly need help with the transition schedule the event so this would be 8 a.m. All right, I'll go on. Yeah, we can go ahead and share this. So we are scheduled with Matthew. I'll go and put it on my. So we're scheduled with Matthew 8 o'clock on the 20.
Starting point is 01:03:04 eighth we my web conferencing details to follow okay so Matthew you're going to help me figure this shit out and there is so okay so this will add it to my Google calendar which I've been using Google counter for everything including what we use it with a with Chescalum is on the schedule let's see a quick look yep oh I'm going to take an opportunity talk about some other things we got going on this with this month outside of work so I am working this afternoon two o'clock at our office we're going to a general in the show tournament. Tomorrow is
Starting point is 01:04:47 Planet Anime orientation. More mundane stuff the rest of the week. Oh yeah. Friday is my one and only day doing Planet Anime, which is it's a sister
Starting point is 01:05:07 convention of Planet Comic-Con, which is the big sci-fi convention here in Kansas City. But this one is dedicated to anime. As of right now, I have an episode of the podcast scheduled to record a week from today.
Starting point is 01:05:31 So hopefully that goes without a hitch because we've had some issues with people not showing up. And we might get another one on Thursday. We'll see. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday.
Starting point is 01:05:56 Oh, yeah, Wednesday, Wednesday, 26th, I will be on the, I'll be on, I'll be interviewed for the podcast, fuck the standard. That should be fun. It should be fun. Of course, the 27th, that's Turkey Day. Probably not going on a lot that day. the 28th of course is this ellipson thing
Starting point is 01:06:33 29th is going to be a long day 29th is going to be a long day I'm not going to like we got a day long chest tournament happening and the 30th well how we close this out I'm going to be pre-interviewed
Starting point is 01:06:49 for another podcast with Danielle Young on December 5th And on December 17, I'll be doing another podcast called Drink O'Clock. So I'm sorry, I'm Brian Chan getting on to other people's podcasts. Brody, if you're watching this, I do need to get back in touch with you to re-record our fandom's episode.
