And yeah, let's do a board game play-through, at least the online digital version of a board game. So the game I'm choosing to play through is called Stone Age. This is a game that is a game that has, and played on the tabletop. This is a good example of a worker placement game. We put dudes ads on the board,

and they do certain things for you while whilst on the board. All right, that looks at. All right, there we go. So we're doing a two-player game. So this should go very quick. quickly and uh... your your stone age game will start in 26th so yeah work replacement as the name would imply it takes place in the stone age

uh by defaults I'm going to start with five dudes and the 12 food and it looks like I'll be the first player this and so I said no I won't the other person will be first player and is going for ag I'll go for tools tools ag I'll place a couple dudes over there on wood so the resources are wood brick rock and gold and of course you can hunt for food so you have ag right here you have your tools right here and you get the fuck huts where you place two dudes down and you get another dude so all right is my turn why are we playing how's it's this early in the game and you can buy huts down here or get resources over here including the including the lottery which is these cards right here

right here with the six dice on them and I don't want to I just keep collecting wood redwood tree ain't hard to see and agriculture allows me to feed my people after each round without spending food so being able to feed your people that is a key concept in this game. So, yeah, I'm making sure people are fed. Okay, he's going for ag. I am going for another tool.

I have recently gotten back into playing on this website. Boardgamearina.com is the website. And I will go for some food. And you can play all sorts of board games in digital formats. And this works great.

if you're in a situation like I'm right now with not being able to go anywhere I count so the fucking street hasn't been plowed yet six food and the thing about the tools is that I'll ask me to up my dice roll I'm going for the lottery

I'll go here try to get some rock Let's see what you're doing. Okay, and I'll place a dude on the huts. Try it's 12 points. All right, so we'll do that. And my ag is up. I use a wood.

Redwood tree, ain't hard to see. And I'll take the gold and leave. All right. So we'll do that. Okay, we'll use the tool to get a rock and then we will

purchase our hut and these cards by the way they give special bonuses at the end

of the game oh you're just going to leave the the ag space open genius

okay we'll go for that lottery let's go put a couple guys on wood and

it's still hunting as well so okay so what's going on here is that after everyone's

placed their dudes they can take their dudes back and do and that's how you actually do stuff okay

I got one wood uh let's going and use both tools and just get extra food

and I'll use that one wood and I'm going to up my egg alright and we're going to up our egg again because it's so damn it all right yeah let's go for that one

roll for rocks and let's do two guys on brick and now place a dude to do some money and uh

I noticed nobody's gone to the fuck hut yet cool I'd start doing that okay now we'll do the two I use those for food and this one will use a

all right unless I'm just getting the one and that's better than nothing oh nice you know go for that hut next round it could be stupid and try to go for both

okay he's going for the lottery I'm going to go for ag and I've reached the point now that okay we'll do that don't even

oh you bastard put the rest on the brick and then next round and I got brick from the lottery it looks like

so all right So now I'm going to gain food for every... So I really don't need two huts anymore. Okay, so we'll continue up in my agriculture. At this time, I place on my dudes on wood. All but one. That one, I'm going to place on this huts,

which I can buy for a brick of rock and a gold for 15. and the game's going to continue until one of these a hut stack huts stacks empties or until the cards empty all right

that's pretty good turn out I'll place your dude okay I will place my dude on the tool and normally I wait until when I've been playing this game I wouldn't tell the the ag

is full before I try to yeah I went to Ag is full before I try to go to the fuck hut

you go every one it won't be more p.g. You won't be more p.g. about the love hut. It's like that old South Park the chicken fucker. I said,

Oh please, when we're around children we prefer to call the chicken lover same idea and that blocks me from game tools okay so I will it's it

I'll go for some lottery so of course to the fuck it's two dudes had to go there which makes sense to basic by It has to do with biology, captain.

All right. I want to take a... And you get a brick. All right, pleasure, dude. If you don't take that ag, I will. Okay. If you don't take that... Okay.

I'll take the tool and prevent you from fucking. I'll take that hut. as well yeah I'll take this card as well and I have a feeling this game is going to end very soon

because I think that's the last hut on oh okay I'll try for some brick then my only hope is he runs out of resources before

yeah I think I think this dude's going to run out of resource no no he he got his head so so this will be near the end of the game and I'll

tally up our points with bonuses and shit okay so we'll do the ag tools uh let's let's use a tool to

get two brick a brick for the uh three points and then we'll go on purchase uh

the huts and I think it's sweet time and now we're getting the points and I'm getting my I got my ass kicked but um

GG let's look at that final solution yeah so 49 points off of these artifacts and versus four

for me 15 from these are from buildings he had five five but I only had one of these

multiplier dudes tools he had five these dudes to mine none which had three of the farm tools and three and one for the dudes these are left over resources

and these are the games the points we scored in game and uh... yep all right so I'll do for this edition of the podcast
