And welcome once again to the unofficial fan lounge.
My name is Mike Chernepsky.
Let's talk week four of the United Football League,
2026 season rather.
And we start with the first win for the Louisville Kings, 24, 22, in overtime over Houston.
In time, just in time for a minor rules change that now say,
overtime cannot end on the penalty.
Attendance was
very bad. We're getting
Memphis showboat numbers almost
4,880
in Houston
on a Thursday
night. The Friday night
game
Columbus. Columbus
Aviars got their first win.
2814 over
Dallas in
Columbus. Attendance was
8,700-29.
So
a bit of a
bit of a drop from their first
week, but
at the end, they're not
playing very good. And then the two
Saturday games, so we'll start with the one
I watched
part of, unfortunately, St. Louis
and D.C. I say unfortunately
because we fell behind
and
could not
come back.
DC 28.
St. Louis 22
and from 7,940 in
D.C. But they did get
nice beer snake
going. So what is
up with the depressed attendance
this week? I wonder, but
that was not the problem in
Birmingham.
They had 18,340
show up
for the stallion's home
opener, which
they lost to Orlando.
16 to nothing.
So this is the first
regular season shutout
in UFL
history.
So your standings going into
week five are
Orlando
4 and O
not too bad. Dallas
3 and 1, D.C. 3 and 1,
St. Louis 2 and 2.
And then Birmingham,
Louisville, Houston, and Columbus
are each 1 and
3.
Birmingham beats
Louisville
Littleville beat
Houston
Houston beat Birmingham
and
Columbus hadn't played
anything yet
so we are
now going into
week five
and it's got to be
shorts this weekend next
because of the
200th episode of
Uncalled for
taking up so much
space
but we start the
Sunday
the Friday night game
is a DC
at Birmingham.
Could go either way.
Could go either way.
I hope Burnham get off the snide.
Then we got the Bell Hawks at Orlando.
Good to see again.
Coach Beck.
Assuming we fix our quarterback
play and our receivers
to keep dropping passes
and our defenders can
actually defend the pass.
I'm going to pick Orlando to win, but I really want St. Louis to win.
Columbus at Houston.
That should be an interesting one.
And then the last game of the week is Louisville at Dallas.
And that will do it for this edition.
It's going to be a short one.
Next week's going to be short, too.
So we will see you in next time.
Thank you.
