Starting point is 00:00:20 And welcome back to the unofficial fan lounge, your host source of all things you have found, at least within this podcast feed. I'm Mike Chernivsky. I'm your host for the fan lounge. And it's going to be in another short week for us here. We'll do some more stuff next week when we have a little more bandwidth. So real quick, week five results, we have the Friday night game. DC 45 Birmingham 28 in front of 8,120. So a significant drop-off, but Birmingham are now second average in the league behind, of course, St. Louis. That's being of St. Louis.
Starting point is 00:01:11 Saturday night, St. Louis, 27, Orlando 17, in front of 9,737, in front of 9, 735. this marks Orlando's first loss. So good job. The Battlehawks there. And then two games on Sunday, we had Houston 17, Columbus 13. Houston, what is up with our attendance here? 5,166. Still better than Memphis last year, but come on.
Starting point is 00:01:48 Got to do better than that. And then the last game, major upset here. Louisville, 47, Dallas, 25. Attendance was 7,10023. And then really quick, we are at the halfway point of the season. So our attendance averages. Battlehawks, of course, still lead 25,700 average attendance. Birmingham is second 13,230 Louisville is third 12,558 Columbus 11,770 DC the
Starting point is 00:02:36 defendant champs 10,054 Orlando now we're getting the sub 10k territory 9,816 is their average Dallas 600 6,601 that is not good also not good for dead last is Houston 6,312 again still better than the Memphis showboats last year current standings DC and Orlando are both four and one and both of them have lost to the battlehawks. Dallas is third at three and two and St. Louis is fourth at three and two. Dallas beat St. Louis earlier this year. Those are your playoff spots at non-playoff. You know Louisville, two and three, Houston two and three, Columbus one and four, and Birmingham one and four. So how in the mighty have
Starting point is 00:03:48 fallen. Now let's look forward the week six real quick. So we start with a Thursday night game. St. Louis at Louisville. I'm not going to sleep on the Kings right now,
Starting point is 00:04:06 but I expect a battlehawks win. The Friday night game is Houston at Columbus. I don't know. Do Columbus come back and get revenge this time I don't know but that should be a good one to watch and then Saturday we have Dallas at DC so once again in front of the
Starting point is 00:04:33 bear snake and then on Sunday we have Birmingham at Orlando round to McCarran versus Beckt and we will see how it goes and And that will do it for this very quick edition. We'll go into more detail about stuff next week.
