Yeah, it was very loud. And very frightening. It wasn't, you know, like seeing a ghost or anything like that. I feel like it was a little bit frightening. Like seeing people confu-fighting. It was like, yeah, a lot like confu-fighting.
Starting point is 00:01:00 Yeah. Those cats though. They're quick as fast as lightning. They're quick as fast as lightning. They're quick as fast as lightning. They're quick as fast as lightning. They're quick as fast as lightning. Is that a shirt? Yeah. They're quick as fast as lightning.
Starting point is 00:01:13 We can come on and we can't have. We've barely established it as a fun thing. Here's what's going on. We have too many shirts. Too many shirts. Too many shirts. Hey, yeah. I think we'm going.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 00:01:34 Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. HiT Justin to Timberlake. Jonathan Timberlake. Jonathan Taylor to Thomas. Oh, okay. Um, was with Chevy Chase. Oh wait, something to Africa? No, it was. It was. It was. It was. It was, um, a movie about a boy and his father. About a boy? Yeah. It was about a boy. It was about a boy and his father. About a boy? Yeah. It was about a boy. It was about a boy and his father played by George Wentes in it and it's and that song isn't it? That like sort of like powerful and well it's not even it's like more like what it was commercials
Starting point is 00:02:21 for like like pure moods it was like that. What's a pure your move those CDs from the 90s where it'd be like Anya and like different types of songs like that you'd hear like an oranoko flow. Yes We only know we only know freedom rock. We're a little bit older. Yeah, turn it up man. I don't know that was Freedom rock brother. There was a commercial for some compilation of, you know, like 60 reboot. This is a great morning song. I want everyone to hear it. Okay, let's hear it.
Starting point is 00:03:12 All right. It's like if a family member dies. And you're a group thing. It wants to be sent off over the side of a cliff. Yeah, yeah. Wait for it to really kick in. OK. Still waiting. Stop.
Starting point is 00:03:35 You know it's kicked in. Still waiting. I won't be able to prove anything to you with this. Who is this? Shevon. What? Get on my head. What?
Starting point is 00:03:51 He leaned away from the mic to say it. And it was a loud music is playing her ears. A negma? Oh, a negma. Excuse you. Let's hear a little, uh, sodness by Enigma? Oh, man. Wait, I still love it.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Wait, wait, wait. Enigma, the guy with the puzzle tattooed on his face? What? I don't think so. No, Enigma, who does sodness? Sodness? Yeah, based on the Marquitos. Marquitos sod.
Starting point is 00:04:22 Are you serious? This is sadness. Yeah, this is like church cool man. When the monks break it down. Well, I'm a funky monkey. I'm here to say it's fun to be funky in a monkey way. Monkey, funky, funky, funky, funky, funky. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:04:41 And they're all shaving like the center of their... Hit a big rig like a concentric It looks like Westworld's When they scout the Anyway freedom rock had these two old hippies Okay, can I say about the past song that I was obsessed we will get back to this but I was obsessed with Musque about the past song that I was obsessed, we will get back to this, but I was obsessed with, we must get back to it. I was obsessed with doing a mashup,
Starting point is 00:05:07 before mashups were anything. You thought of it first. Or swear I come up with mashups. Or swear I come up with mashups. Oh. I like parties. I die of parties. That's something that guy, I have parties. I have parties. I come up with. That's something like that guy.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I have parties. I have parties. I call them mashups. I don't know how to do that much of. It had the same beat as Soul to Soul, keep on grooving, I think. You're thinking of jungle to jungle. Simply understand yourself.
Starting point is 00:05:38 So I, what? I didn't have any DJ equipment or anything like that, but I wanted to put those two songs together to bleed into it. Can we hear Soul to Soul keep on grooving, don't stop? Play under a step. And I think Tom's dire too, maybe has. Oh, not that again.
Starting point is 00:05:57 The same ish beat. But I love it. Yeah. Oh, Soul to Soul. Okay, wait, can we talk about this? Can we talk about Soul to Soul? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. I was just thinking about this in the way here when songs sample other songs. Yep. And how I think it should be necessary for it to say on the track that it is a sample.
Starting point is 00:06:18 In the title? Yes, because it drives me crazy when I can't figure out, or if I like love something and then I find out like a Kanye song and then I find out it's like some old song I'm like I would rather listen to that old song. Yeah like the one the the one the one the one. Oh yeah there's no. But what got me thinking about it was I was listening to how soon as you're the wires. That's why I'm thinking. No. Yeah but yeah. No you're not. How soon is now by the Smith., and then it was a meter my name me of so I'll be chick by So I was like oh well I always knew that those were the same song but I was like that's crazy
Starting point is 00:06:56 I didn't I didn't realize for For like three years was shut up and drive by Rihanna is blue Monday I've never realized that let's play a little shut up and drive by Rihanna is Blue Monday. I've never realized that. Let's play a little shut up and drive. We'll never realize it. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not.
Starting point is 00:07:11 I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're talking about.
Starting point is 00:07:19 I will not acknowledge what you're talking about. I will not acknowledge what you're, drive. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. And do do do do do do do do do.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Wait until it kicks in. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest.
Starting point is 00:07:38 I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. I'm a one, step into my rest. we go. Oh, bro! Yeah! This is gonna be the best day of your life.
Starting point is 00:08:06 We're gonna play Blue Monday, or you're just gonna change your life. It's gonna blow you mind! Is it gonna blow you mind? Is it gonna blow you mind? Yeah. How does it feel to treat me like you do? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:08:15 No! Okay. Sing along. No. Feel. Just treat me like you do. What a baby! I don't know this part.
Starting point is 00:08:24 It's upon me. I'm show me like you do. What a baby. I don't know this part. It's upon me. And show me who you are. What? Something like it. Oh, I'm a doll. Don't forget to make me. It's sad up and down.
Starting point is 00:08:34 When we went down to the beach. A B C D E F G. Hey, I J K L M N O B. This just rip off of the alphabet. Yeah. You can do it. You can rip off of the alphabet. The FG This just rip off of the alphabet. Yeah, you can You can see the alphabet You can see the alphabet over the whole floor Every single song includes every letter of the alphabet By law
Starting point is 00:08:56 By law That's why so many songs have the word quiz in them There's so many songs said the quick brown fox Shoped over the lazy deer The time for all the time to come to the end of the party There is a way to ruin the you've done one of them this singing the alphabet over I'm gonna wait ruined another way to ruin any song is can we play a little more blue Monday? Oh great. This is another way to ruin any song for anyone
Starting point is 00:09:20 spider man spider man Does whatever a spider can. I would argue that you only have anything different over another song would ruin the song. I would say it enhances every song. Here, what's that? It's great.
Starting point is 00:09:37 Cute woman. Hey, Mickey, you're so fine. You're so fine, you bum, I'm fine. Hey, Mickey. Hey, Mickey. Hey Mickey you're so fine you're so fine you both my mind hey Mickey Hey Mickey oh Say can you see by the dawns early like this is like stars on 45 It hits was last stars in for let's explain stars on 45 and free to rock Okay stars on 45 was there it was like disco
Starting point is 00:10:05 medley rock back yeah still can't hold on rock up up again 10 minutes ago apologies to freedom rock we were at the time we'll have you on a Suzy again freedom like is the new mat Damien so star's M45 was in the early 80s I believe relate 70s they would have disco isish medleys of whatever the popular hits of the day that would have this clapping beat behind it.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And it would be like, you know, what were some of them? Can you find a stars on 45? Here we go. So this is just one song. And normally it doesn't have this clap. Okay, this is the theme song. Yeah. I know this one.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Yeah, the first one was the theme song. I know this one. Yeah, the first one was the theme song they would do at the beginning of the act. Oh, okay, oh, it's all songs I know now. Yeah. Okay, oh cute. Oh honey, honey. I love what's happening. You are my candy girl!
Starting point is 00:11:25 And you got me wanting you to transition into another one. How do I keep going? Let it live. Remember when he was on Brady Bunch? The girl baby Jones. Oh yeah. This is the baby Jones. This is the art piece. Art piece. Three, yeah, I don't think this is a baby Jones. This is the art
Starting point is 00:12:00 Fade it out right when you win you Was really cool. Thank you Lauren. I'm proud of that was really cool thank you Lauren I'm proud of me I like me my wife likes me faded out right when he did that oh wait so many tangents there was like a thing this happened once before is where you went oh because it went into the Beatles we were talking about Davey Jones then I went this happened once before. Jones on the Brady bunch. Then before that there was a guy say about that song this happened once before I used to work in a restaurant called Cafe Cordial still there in the valley. Pardon me. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:12:32 Everyone to go visit. There's a plaque dedicated to. Of course. Most famous alumni on this spot. But I used to work Saturday nights and they would have bands on Friday and Saturday and the owner of Peter, great guy. Peter Cordial? Still there. Peter Cordial. He owned it with his parents who were English and he was not English.
Starting point is 00:12:52 But he was really when he hired me, he was like, we have great bands and, you know, the members of Chicago play here all the time. And so, and that was like a selling point. So you were saying Chicago is not impressed? No And so, and that was like a selling point. But, but. So you were saying Chicago's not impressive. No, no, but I immediately told Jimmy Pardo was like, why does he hate them? No, he loves them. They're his favorite band.
Starting point is 00:13:14 So, that's interesting. In any case, there was a Beatles. There's like four good Chicago songs. Oh boy. There's more than that. I like, I like, there's a solid. I'm like, there's a solid. I don't know less than that.
Starting point is 00:13:24 What about 20 That's not one because I don't understand what that's about at all What is that about waiting for the break of day? 25 to six Break up day if I had to guess it falls off from there. I don't I don't know I don't know I don't know but is think I do. I don't know. I don't know. But is it subways or buss?
Starting point is 00:13:48 It's about drugs. It's about drugs? Of course it is. What drugs? Number drugs. Have you ever had 25? It's crazy. It'll make you had six or four?
Starting point is 00:13:58 It'll make you six to four. If you take 25 and then you do six and then you go to four. Okay. You will sing like Chicago, the rest of your life. No, I know what you guys are talking about. I've done it. Yeah, that's right. You're in the Oranoko Flo.
Starting point is 00:14:10 I went to a block party recently. Well, it was not a block party. My friend was living, this was two weeks ago. She lives around the corner. Oh, hold on. I'm just saying because she was living. I don't know why I'm saying it this way. She was living at the time.
Starting point is 00:14:24 Okay, at the time. We did a friend who's going, currently. Currently. No. She, we're on the corner from our house. There was a house that every year does a Chicago cover band. I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:14:37 Let it go. Yeah. They do a Chicago cover band at the house. Yes, and so they invite everyone in the neighborhood so they don't bother anyone because they're going to be playing loudly and we went to it. Holy shit, does Parto know about this? Wait, are you not allowed to complain about it if you were invited? Basically, it's like a way to go, hey, we're doing this.
Starting point is 00:14:56 We do every year. It's our midlife crisis. It's our thing. I wrote like a whole thing. Is it an afternoon thing? Yeah, yeah. It's our thing. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:04 And it's also fun because we could hear in her backyard but then we went over there and watched it for a whole thing. Is it an afternoon thing? Yeah, yeah. So that's a hard day. Yeah, yeah. And it's also fun because we could hear in her backyard, but then we went over there and watched it for a little bit. And I was thinking, when are they gonna play the hits? And they did it at one point, but then it was like, a lot of these Chicago songs I don't care about. I like like five of them, and I want to hear them. Cool, but I went to go see them at the Greek, and we were similarly disappointed because we, when we first got together, I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them.
Starting point is 00:15:25 I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them.
Starting point is 00:15:41 I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. I would have to hear them. are a bunch of bandings. I have the meaning of the song. The song's title is the time at which the song is set.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Which is called what? 25 or 26 minutes before 4am. Because of the unique... 25 or 6 to 4. So it's like 25 or 26. Or 6 to 4, yeah. That's not how you say that. You don't, yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:02 It has been incorrectly speculated. 35. A veiled reference to drug quantities or a mystical illusion. not how you say that. You don't. Yeah, it has been incorrectly speculated three to five, a veiled reference to drug quantities or a mystical illusion. I was joking around. Right. And it was banned. It was banned for a while in Singapore.
Starting point is 00:16:15 It was banned in Singapore. Yeah. Is there like the socks? Don't more like don't sing a poor. If you play the song, we'll cane you. Sing a word. That one of the canine in country. Sing a word. I think it was. Don't more like don't sing a poor if you play the song will cane you That one of the caning country sing a more there it was yeah, can I just finish the fact that That's the that the Beatles cover band always opened with that song and I grew to hate it like Beatles cover band Never been. Ad Corneal. Oh, yeah, yes. They played every Saturday night. So that's why you're talking about the cafe.
Starting point is 00:16:45 Yes, just couldn't let you get to it. I don't think we forgot. I don't think we even got to the Beatles. No, the Beatles cover. We did, but you were saying something. But the Beatles cover band played every Saturday. Oh, we're saying shut up. And you didn't listen.
Starting point is 00:16:55 Hey. You guys, it's a mean lie. I think you're saying that. Good morning. It feels like we're doing a morning radio show, which I'm not opposed to. We should get a serious XM show. We should. Let's do this.
Starting point is 00:17:06 Oh my God. What the fuck are we doing? Fuck up all of our careers and just become radio people. Why would that fuck up all of our careers? That would be weird for me to do another time now. Michelle Collins, Nikki Glazer, come on! When my friend did the morning show at Indy1031, which is the whole reason I started comedy bang-bang.
Starting point is 00:17:23 He had to get up at 3am or 4am to do it. I think he has. Yes, sounded awful. Yeah. No, that sounds awful. Well, that's why when I would do comedy clubs and they would want you to do the morning radio, it's like, it doesn't make sense. First of all, nobody goes to those shows because they heard someone.
Starting point is 00:17:42 No, because they heard someone. They didn't know on the morning radio show. Yeah, it was pretty funny. But then also, it's cruel because I have a nighttime job and you've made the choice to have this weird daytime job. Like, they have nothing to do with each other. You're talking to do all of society. No, no, because more, no, morning radio people, they get up, like, you just said it.
Starting point is 00:18:03 No, I know. But I'm saying the listeners, when you're on. The listeners aren't getting up at 3 a.m. No, but I'm saying that you are, when you're on is early enough that everyone is up because they're going to their morning job. Yes, I know.
Starting point is 00:18:17 I'm not talking about them. I know, but I thought it was funny to say that. I know you did, honey, I know. Okay, you're hugging. It's getting better. Um, I'm going on KTLA next week. Okay. With Sam.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Oh, yes. Oh, boy. And I always feel weird talking at that hour. That's like seven something. Oh, yeah. And then also when people can see you, it's even weirder. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:44 What do you, I'm promoting my new's even weirder. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:00 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.. One time. So, with his song. Tell him. Let me talk about Freedom Rock. Yes. The time has come.
Starting point is 00:19:09 So, what is it? Freedom Rock was one of those, it was a commercial for one of those compilations. Can we hear a little bit of it, Kevin? You've been hearing it, aren't we? Are you just going to play the commercial so then there's no. We were hearing Star of the Unfortified. No, but I want to. We were?
Starting point is 00:19:23 I want to hear your take on it. No, no, no, don't play yet. I wanna hear your take on it and see how closely it aligns with the reality. Okay, here's what I recall. Okay. Is that there's these two old hippies. Some 60's song comes on.
Starting point is 00:19:34 The one hippie says to the other, is this Freedom Rock? Something like that, right? I thought you wanted to hear his. Yeah, he says, I'm excited because I know it. Hey man, is that Freedom Rock? Oh, so you remember the same. Yeah Makes me think I'm true
Starting point is 00:19:49 And he says He says then turn it up then turn it up then turn it up Does he say man does anyone say man? I think he says that freedom rock man He says that freedom rock man or he says that freedom rock turn it up man. Okay. Let's let's check the tape Let's see where the man lies. I Bearing here This song I'll melt in John they say man a lot
Starting point is 00:20:28 I'm Elton John. They say man a lot to rewind rewind all these songs represent freedom. I said I was John I meant okay Eric clapped him I think I just Man on every single line three man's in as many seconds. What about a baby? So to love train the stars on 45. Alright, alright, I can't do this anymore. So this is now, this is music for the 70s, basically. Was this an album? Yeah, it was a two record set, I believe, that you could order for like $20. Now that's what I call music.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Yeah, by the way, it starts on 45 is the reason that Weird Al's song is called Polka's on 45. I don't think anyone remembers that. Thank you. That's kept me up. You have been slept in years. I have it and I feel a thousand and I'm so thankful. You're just You're now climbing under the table and you're pulling covers. This is my final moment. It's just blankets come from. I've been waiting. My gravity blanket. Oh, OK, but I watch Little People Big World,
Starting point is 00:21:30 which is a fantastic reality program. I don't know if you've seen it. It's on TLC. I've heard of it. It's been on my whole life. It's about Little People's. It's been on my whole life. I've watched these people go from children
Starting point is 00:21:43 to having kids of their own. Like, I'm like, they is not a long time having kids of their own like I'm like they It's not long time. Yeah, so it's like to grassy, but with little people No I don't know what this is. Oh, so all it is is the reality show about this family and the two parents are little people and they have Four kids one of whom is little and the others are average height and then you just kind of see their life they live on a farm on the North West Coast whatever. Oh, no Lauren the North. They're dead. Wait. Why?
Starting point is 00:22:13 The show's telling you they live on a farm They're dead. They're dead. This is heaven. Oh, they went to go live on a farm. I understand They went to go. Oh, they went to live in a bar. Get out that ghost! I understand. And now it's really wonderful because the show, I'm loving it because the parents got divorced. Da, da, da, da, da.
Starting point is 00:22:32 Yeah, McDonald's. The parents got divorced. It's right up your alley. I don't know why you're quibbling. Are you afraid you're gonna be penalized if you don't? Yeah. I love every interjection. Do you really? Yeah. I love every interjection. Do you really?
Starting point is 00:22:45 Yeah. I love every other one. Ah! That one is one that you didn't like. Yeah, exactly. And then what I did ask you last. Did you see the next one coming? Oh.
Starting point is 00:22:56 But I think that's what's fun about it. So. So now their kids are older. And then the kids are like in their 20s and some of them are married with kids, the twins. So they fuck. Yeah, yeah. The twins are one is average and one is little and then they are both married to women and
Starting point is 00:23:11 have kids with them. The little person had a little person child and the average height had an average child but it could have been gone anyway. Could have been either because it doesn't work where it's genetics. Yeah, it was us like for the average height personally because he married an average height woman. I don't know. I think that makes it automatically less.
Starting point is 00:23:32 Did they, did they, did their farm and this is not me like searching for comedy. I'm just genuinely interested. Did, did their farm that they had before they have children was it, was it, uh, everything was because I think there was a show. No, I was saying where every, they got a farm after they had the kids. I think so because because, because was their original was it everything was, because I think there was a show I was thinking where they got a farm after they had a kiss. I think so, because was their original house everything was scaled down for them?
Starting point is 00:23:51 And then they're like, oh no, we need some stuff that's gonna be average height, or do they have a collection or? There's multiple shows that are about little people that are on TLC that you might be thinking about. This, they have a farm, they run a whole thing where they have like pumpkin season and they have like a pirate ship that they built.
Starting point is 00:24:06 It's far people to come and... Wait, you just said two weird things that I need to understand. It's pumpkin season. They built a pirate ship, Scott. I watch it so regularly that these terms are so normal to me. Pumpkin season is October. They have a giant... I know what pumpkin season is, but in what relation to them?
Starting point is 00:24:22 Then they have, they're far, they host, like, you know, like we can go pick out a pumpkin and go on like a hay ride and do all these things. They have, the whole farm is like, pimped out with all these things. They have a pirate ship for kids to play on. They, so my point is, what got me to this is that, the parents are divorced.
Starting point is 00:24:42 They're both divorced. The parents are now divorced. Yeah, which is why I love it because the stories are more intense because they're both dating people. The people they're dating both average height, which I just find interesting. So they both were like, I'm not satisfied with this. I want you. You could see them through the years hating each other.
Starting point is 00:24:57 No, well, they just have been together forever and they just started fighting. But that doesn't happen with people who have been together forever. Well, not necessarily, but it did for them. And it was like watching them fight. It was like crazy, but then finally to know, okay, they just started fighting. But that doesn't happen with people who have been together forever. Well, not necessarily, but it did for them. And it was like watching them fight. It was like crazy, but then finally to know, okay, they are getting divorced. They do hate each other. It was like validating as a viewer. And then now they're kind of making it work, but they're trying to figure out where they
Starting point is 00:25:15 can really live to like both have the best experience because they both love the farm. It's like a huge thing. But they each want the farm. That's the problem when you get divorced. I know. One of them doesn't want the pirate ship. Oh, I would absolutely live there. They. Thank you. The mom. I follow all the money Instagram now because I was like, you know, let me just double down because I like them all so much. I want to
Starting point is 00:25:34 see them. He's just double down on this shit. He was super sloppy double. And the mom was split aces on these guys. The mom posted a story yesterday from bed and she's wearing a weighted blanket. I said, we said, we said, some of blankets, which is anything else. Wait, if you're a little person blanket, fly off your body. They're for everybody. What are weighted blankets? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It's a gravity blanket. It's this kind of trendy thing. Every blanket is a gravity blanket. Well, they're heavy. They're very heavy and Well, they're heavy, they're very heavy, and everything is gravity, everything. But...
Starting point is 00:26:06 Ah! Exept space, space force. They're the, I actually kind of want to try one because I keep seeing everyone talking about them on Instagram. Are they like comfort shirts or thunder shirts for dogs? Yeah, so I always put on my thunder shirt when it starts raining, and this will help me.
Starting point is 00:26:20 So... No, what do they do? It's a weighted blanket, so it's for people with anxiety or people can't fall asleep. I don't only have those issues, but I think how nice to put on this weighted blanket and just like, conc out, it seems great. So Amy, the mom, posted this video and add for a weighted blanket and she is talking like an actor and it's fascinating
Starting point is 00:26:40 because she doesn't act on the show. They don't, they really don't do that. So she's reciting lines. I love my weighted blanket. It's so wonderful. I fall in the sleep so quickly and she's like smiling and it's so bizarre. Do you think she's being held hostage by this person?
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yeah, so what are you gonna say about the blanket? Well, Jayny, some people just like that feeling. It doesn't, I don't think it's necessarily an anxiety that you can hold the time. I think some people just like it. For some it's more than a feeling. Jayny't, I don't think it's necessarily an anxiety. No, yeah, I think it's not some people just like it. For some, it's more than a feeling. Jamie, when we were, I would say most of our relationship until, probably until like five, six years ago, she liked like really being weighed down by, she had two comfortors on her
Starting point is 00:27:21 bed. Right. And so for most of our relationship, we had that. And I just were sweating up there. Learned to get used to it. Yeah, yeah. And then finally, I think we got new, when we got a new bed, we got new bedding. Good news like bed.
Starting point is 00:27:34 Can we try this? New bedding. New bedding. And now we just have like a normal set up where it's with a weight of like a... She and we have a duvet. No, we don't have a weight We don't have a way to blanket So she's more over her. Yes, she got you she's the one who's hating you. She got you no she got used to the other way
Starting point is 00:27:53 Yep I love this blank will blanket. I love it soft and every time I use it I feel like I'm getting a great big. Oh dear, acting 101. Last stress with my blank well blanket. Oh dear. One thing I've noticed as well is that I sleep so much better. It is like community theater actor. Like she'd be a great community theater actor. In the morning.
Starting point is 00:28:18 I've always, I've always wondered why. I'm like, wait, wait. I'm like, I do. Blank well blanket. Blank well. Blank well. I've always wondered why... Wait, wait, wait. I do. I do. I don't do it so many ways. I do. Well, she's trying to make it natural with your sleep. So why don't you swipe up?
Starting point is 00:28:34 Why don't you swipe up? Hello, would she disappear? I love it. It's so endearing to me though, because I like them so much. And just so funny to watch her do this ad. I've never seen her act so happy. I've never, I've always wondered why people when they're giving speeches,
Starting point is 00:28:54 or like when a minister in church is reading his sermon or what, why do people always go into the sing-song-e speech voice? It's like I part, part of me feels like that's why Trump was elected because he never does the Sing Song-E speech voice, you know? That's what I think. If you're not, if you're not a, I don't know, I think it's hard for people to make a written statement sound natural and sound like, kind of a sound novel, because I think you have it in your head, like, this is what a speech sounds like.
Starting point is 00:29:25 When we did the Between Two Friends with Hillary Clinton, every time I saw her on a comedy show, she did the Sing Song You Speech voice with whatever comedy line they gave her, and that's why we were insisting to do it all improv. Because we just want to break, some people can't break out of the Sing Song You Speech voice. She's not a gifted
Starting point is 00:29:46 performer in order. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I semi-enjoy watching Chelsea Clinton Call out people who insult her on Twitter. Do you follow her? I don't follow her. People call her ugly every day Which it's just so stupid But she like writes back to them with like kind of a plum. Yeah, and then I Sometimes I'm like, oh, that's nice. And the other time I'm like, why am I seeing this hate? Like I kind of don't like to acknowledge the bad,
Starting point is 00:30:10 like bring it up to my feet with like some insult to her and then she responds. I'm like, she doesn't like that. I don't think humans are meant to process as much ugly as we are currently seeing all day every day. That's a good theory, yeah. Yeah. You know, like even if we don't agree with it,
Starting point is 00:30:24 it's like every day we're seeing a bunch of people insult each other and going, well, hey, fuck you. It's so bad, I know. And I think any time I open my Twitter and I see, I see for sure something that makes me feel bad on some level, either if it's something to me or something about politics or whatever and I'm like, this is not good. Yeah. I need a cleanse.
Starting point is 00:30:44 It's hard. I want my piece is not good. Yeah. Right? You need a cleanse. It's hard. It's hard. I want a piece of my brain, or... Yeah. It's different than a cleanse. Uh-oh. I either need a spa day or to have some
Starting point is 00:30:55 really... A spa day. A spa day. Do you think if you could do the eternal sunshine thing? A spa day. A spa day. A spa day.
Starting point is 00:31:04 A spa day. It could do eternal sunshine for like. I love body. It could do, would you do a turnl sunshine for like anything in your life? It's just a race, something. It's just a race. It's just a race. I sometimes wish I could erase. You know what, I've had trouble sleeping the past couple of days because I've somehow
Starting point is 00:31:20 have thought about people with baseball bats and like hitting me in the face with them, I don't know. And it makes my eyes like I'm laying there. I'm like, I can't go to sleep because all I can think about is a guy with a baseball bat with a knee in the face. I don't know. You know, it's similar to me watching helicopters
Starting point is 00:31:42 and movies and closing my eyes because I feel like the blades are gonna hit me in the eyes. I've told you about that. I told you about that. Yes, I think so. Yes, really did on tour and you brought it up on stage and said, oh, I may have betrayed that in confidence. But yeah, that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:32:02 So you just wanna get rid of thoughts that bother you. Yeah, well, there's also these things where like conversations I've had that now I think of any time I do something where like, anytime I, and I don't go to cross junior anymore, but any time I would for a while, I would remember this time I went in there when I was 20 and we were there, we were the last people before it closed, the only went in there when I was 20 and we were there we were the last people before a close the only people in there and this you told us this show get a spanking on this show on this show the fries the fries yeah on this show freedom all right come on I'm pretty sure who's gonna give me this let me tell the story yeah okay I'm right I'm having us Kevin says
Starting point is 00:32:42 Kevin says Kevin gives a thumbs up and now he's very excited about it. He was like, yeah, he's told it. He's told it. All right. Wait, should I get a video? Kevin, Kevin, this is part of your job. Hold on, wait, wait, phone's not going to say that. Okay. Oh, I can look. I can look. You're writing. You're gonna turn this in a way. What do you think? That's the, that's the freedom promise.
Starting point is 00:33:11 Um. No, but anytime I, Oh, Anytime I've had a weird conversation with someone where I feel embarrassed like, Oh, I was in the wrong about that. Even though I've reconciled it in my mind of like, well, I'll try to do better. Anytime I do a certain thing related to that thing now, I'll remember.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Yeah, or just anytime I've done something that I said something I shouldn't have said or whatever it is. Those moments I cannot get rid of. I would love to erase every stupid thing I've ever said. Do you know what I've thought about this so much? Because I don't want to erase as embarrassing as my thoughts are all the time. I would like to
Starting point is 00:33:48 erase some experiences so I could experience them again for the first time. Oh, like what? Yeah, like going to a dinny man? Like going to dinny man, what about time? It could be, I mean, I think of it in terms of like art. I don't teach by the way. Oh, like the Mona Lisa or perhaps- Well, Mona Lisa is the most disappointing thing to see in real life.
Starting point is 00:34:11 What if the sonnest of the immortal bard? No, that's like I love. If I could read a book again for the first time where I could see a movie again for the first time. I tend to forget books. So when I- You don't want to fuck with the first time again. So first, Hey, Jayny, could you erase this from my memory? Cause I
Starting point is 00:34:29 weren't doing it again tomorrow. So what I so I was kind of wish I did. I also wish I didn't know so many bad things about the world. I think this is going to be too dark probably, but like I remember really learning and understanding about molestation, and I know I'm sorry, but I remember learning about that in Oprah,
Starting point is 00:34:52 actually there were so many horrible stories that were exposed to me, probably at a too young, even just as a teenager, things I didn't really understand about things that happened people, and I don't know. And I feel that then I did a deep dive like wanting to understand those types of stories and like reading like memoirs from people and all these types of things. And now it's so in my head that it makes me feel sick and thinking about that happening people makes me so sad that I truly wish I didn't know so much about that.
Starting point is 00:35:20 I watched the whole thing about, she, Oprah interviewed Child molesters who were who are molesters and she interviewed them and they talked about their process for like the grooming children to Don't but do you think I hate knowing that but does it Are you able to a I mean Print I guess were you able to protect yourself in those types of situations or I was too old to have that To have that be something that I could be... So, but do you think that it will help out if you ever have children who you really do?
Starting point is 00:35:53 Yeah, I do think so, but I think I'm so worried about that for children. Did you keep the videotape? You'll just show them that. Yeah, so don't listen to guys like this. But I feel so concerned about that for all children in the world that like, it's almost incapacitating in a way, just like if these hairs are going on,
Starting point is 00:36:11 how can I experience any joy myself? Yeah, or like not knowing that that's happening to somebody because so often you don't know until someone's an adult and then that's devastating. So I don't know. Well, the hairs of the world, when you're confronted with them, it's like difficult to find any joy, but it's sort of figuring out that balance, I guess,
Starting point is 00:36:32 of like I don't wanna be, you know, sleeping through life where I'm just like, my life is happy, I don't care. I know. But. Well, the idea of, you know, when people say I wouldn't wanna bring a child into this world, it's, I
Starting point is 00:36:47 mean, on the one hand, yeah, I get what that argument is, but on the other hand, there's a lot that is great about being alive and being in the world, you know, and you never know what an individual's experience is going to be. It's a gamble no matter what. I mean, well, yeah, I've been having this thought that I don't know if I'll be able to articulate because it's kind of just like, it's a, it falls in the category of like a stoned thought, but it's not when I was thinking.
Starting point is 00:37:13 But I'm just, I was thinking about how, but I am really high right now. So we're high guys. We're high. We get high for every episode. Yeah. But I was thinking about how when I was a kid, I had the idea that all adults were always adults,
Starting point is 00:37:27 and it was very hard for me to wrap my head around the idea that people were all children at one point. And even now, I think I'm still understanding the fact that everyone's getting older and their experience in that for the first time. It's not like everyone is just older and they know everything. You know what I'm trying to say?
Starting point is 00:37:44 I do. And then I think about kids and I'm like, oh God, like when you have a kid, it creates this person who like has all of their own feelings and experiences and they just go through life completely autonomous of you and everything that you've experienced. And then that makes me feel crazy. I don't know, I don't even have a full point to that.
Starting point is 00:38:03 It's more just like the thought that everyone is experiencing life for the first time. There are as many lifetimes as there have been people. What? What? What? Look, look, we need to take a break. We have to argue with, we need to take a break.
Starting point is 00:38:20 We'll be right back. We're back. We're back. Hello. I was thinking about life. How, you know, how movies, they pretty much like all movies are based upon Star Wars. Predicated upon Star Wars. No, they're all based on Happily Ever After, right? Every movie ends on Happily Ever After, or if they're a tragedy. Tragedy ever after. Yeah, but you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:38:52 They're all, they all end. There's a two basic story. They all end like at the point where it's like, had everything worked out, and then everything was horrible forever, but like really lifetimes, if you were to make them into a movie, it would be like, everything's really interesting and then the movie just ends
Starting point is 00:39:10 because the person died accidentally. Or like everything is so great, happily ever after, and then just like, you know, 50 years of boredom. And then. You know there's a lifetime movie channel. Is that what those movies are? That's what those movies channel. Is that what those movies are? That's what those movies are.
Starting point is 00:39:26 I gotta check this out. How many people out there do you think are like really bored all the time? All the time. Oh god. No. I think that people, no, I don't, I don't think, I think that that's something that artists tend to think about. I do.
Starting point is 00:39:43 I don't, I don't even assume, but I don't even assume that about people. I think people are actually people who are like, that artists tend to think about other people's lives. I don't even assume that about people. I think people are actually people who are like, what's life? I think even if people hate their jobs, they find wonderful things in their family and in their, you know, out of their job experiences. I think, you know, people, people all,
Starting point is 00:40:04 for the most part, they really enjoy what's going on. I don't know. I agree. I like to think of it that way. I just imagine that there are some people. I guess I'm talking about the privileged people who live in this country are well off.
Starting point is 00:40:18 And. Yeah. There's definitely a line. But I mean, I'm just thinking about people who are just retired and they're like 70 and they're just like bored. Yeah. Like I think there are people who are actually like unfulfilled and they cannot find it.
Starting point is 00:40:37 I think they're, I think they're, I don't wanna make that for sure. For sure there are people that are unfulfilled. I mean, I think about my experience of retirement was, my best experience of retirement was, you retired. Is that why we're all here? In three, two, one, one, one. Good bye, men, great.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Oh, Paul's gone. My in-laws, my mother-in-law and her husband, when they were both retired, they were traveling and they were just spending time with each other. And they were so awesome. But they were like extremely devoted to each other. They loved just being together and it was fucking great. And it made me feel so good.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Like, oh my God, that's a thing to look forward to. It's so nice. You know, in their twilight years that they're having this wonderful time just being together, you know. I don't know that I'll ever retire. I want to be like Betty White. I can't imagine that either.
Starting point is 00:41:33 I can't imagine retirement. But I can't imagine a time when, you know, I'm older and I'm not working as much. I'm always thinking, because the system is telling me, there's nothing for you. There are questions about you. Yeah, but there are also currently, or just so many excuses not to do things of like, well, we can't really do that because this is coming up and we can't really fit it into the thing,
Starting point is 00:41:53 you know, that I look forward to a time where it's just like, hey, we got, I have six months where I don't have to do anything. Yeah, that'll be so cool. I think what I mean, because retirement is not, for a lot of people, it's like the way things are now, it's pushed farther and farther away to where people have to work much longer than they used to. And with Social Security, maybe going away. It's just God.
Starting point is 00:42:16 Yeah. Yeah. But I guess for me, it was, you don't necessarily have to find a, you know, a bunch of a million things to fill your time. You know, it could just be that you're leading a quiet or life than you did and you get to be, if you're lucky you get to be with someone that you love being with and that sounds like a, it looked like a very nice life to me.
Starting point is 00:42:41 I think when my dad retired, I think he was looking for stuff to do. So he started like a fishing fly business. Yeah, I think that can happen a lot though that people are immediately like, oh, I need something. I need something. Well, I mean, yeah, every, you know, I don't know. Life is just what you're doing while you're trying to go to sleep.
Starting point is 00:42:59 Oh, what? What does that mean? You know, it's like, God, I just woke up. I can't sleep for another 14 hours. Oh, that's the most depressing way to think about life. Okay, what do I do during these 14 hours? Do you love sleep? I, when it's good, it's fucking good.
Starting point is 00:43:20 No, a good night's sleep is great. And I feel like my sleep lately has been really, really good, but I don't relish sleep in that way. Jamie loves sleeping. She loves sleeping. Yeah. She loves it. And she's very good at it.
Starting point is 00:43:33 But one time she said, one time she said, we were talking about, like, she slept late. She sleeps later than I do usually. Lately, we're kind of like flip flops. And I was surprised when that turn started happening where I would be in bed after her. Right. But one time she slept, like for a long time, and she said, oh, I wish I could just sleep
Starting point is 00:43:59 and sleep and sleep and never wake up. And I said, honey, that's death. And she said, I know. Oh man. That's funny. Sleep. I like sleeping, but I do feel like a little... I wish we didn't have to do it.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I wish I could just like reboot. I wish we could just sleep for, I wish we could sleep when we wanted to and for as long as we wanted to, like you could program it and say like, I wanna sleep, today I wanna sleep from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and just do that. I wish we didn't have to do it because I,
Starting point is 00:44:40 but during the time that we would be sleeping, we would be constantly shitting. Well, you want that? Lauren, I cut you off. What were you saying? I was gonna say the same thing. Oh, okay. No, I wish we just didn't have to sleep.
Starting point is 00:44:53 We had the energy and we just, I mean, think of like a third of your life is gone. I don't, I hate thinking about that. It's gone. Yeah, but that's true for everyone. So it's like, this is if it never existed. Well, that's true. It's almost like, yeah, every. That's all the playing field. That's gone. Yeah, but that's true for everyone. So it's like, this is if it never existed. Well, that's true. It's almost like, yeah, every-
Starting point is 00:45:07 That's all the playing field. That's true. But I guess that's the argument for people who are like, I only sleep four hours. Yeah, but then those people like aren't well. Yeah, well, yeah. There's like no way to actually be functioning on that little, did you follow the whole like Ariana Huffington thing
Starting point is 00:45:22 like when she like collapsed? Huff-puff, yeah. Well, but you know her whole story. No, she wanted a big sleep crusade. Yeah, so she like was someone who worked so hard and like barely ever slept and pushed herself all the time. I was always working and then at one point she fell asleep like from exhaustion and her desk and hit her face on her desk and like broke her face. Like it was like totally a problem.
Starting point is 00:45:44 Whoa. I'm sure I'm such a skirm. Like it was like totally a problem. Whoa. I'm sure I'm such a skirmish. It was like totally a problem. It was totally a problem. I broke my face. It was totally a problem. And totally a problem. My face felt broken.
Starting point is 00:45:53 That's good. And I just listened to a podcast interview with her. I can't remember what it was, but it was about breaking up with your phone because I'm trying to do this. Let me see if I can jog your memory. To start with, lock the gates. Yes, it was in a garage And did you find yourself fast forward? But
Starting point is 00:46:17 She um she made a whole crew like she went on a whole crusade basically to change her whole to change her offpost and like the whole environment So the whole working environment of every other People can like the whole environment. So, everyone should have. The whole working environment of everyone. People can nap during the day. They're encouraged to nap. You're encouraged to get a full night sleep and not respond to things until the morning. Like there was just, and I love a good job where they're like,
Starting point is 00:46:36 you know what, go nap for a half hour. Because it changes the environment for everyone. It's so good. I couldn't school when I think about myself in high school. I was the most tired of ever been. Well, I, you know, I couldn't believe my dad once said to me, he was like, you know what, I used to get on you about sleeping late
Starting point is 00:46:51 and how you were, it was just so terrible to try to wake you up, you know, and you had to go to school or church or whatever. But now study show that, you know, in the teenage years, early 20s or something that your bodies are meant to be like a sleep until 11 or new. I remember my mom screaming at me or just making me feel so bad for sleeping late in like
Starting point is 00:47:09 the summer when it was like 11 o'clock and I'd be like, hello. Hello. Hello. I remember how hard it was to wake up. It was painful. It was so hard. So to my dad with her a water on me. So he would get like a, He would get a pale of water.
Starting point is 00:47:25 He was from the military background. Oh, boy, boy. No, I mean, I don't think that he ever had that experience of like, he never had a life where he could. Where a basketball wasn't being bounced in his face. Mine was like, my mom would open my door and then just be like, Lauren, for like so long, I'd like to stop, stop. From downstairs, just say, hear it.
Starting point is 00:47:48 So why doesn't school, in high school, why doesn't it start at noon then and go till 10? So go to noon to six would make six. Noon to six? Yeah, makes dollars in cents, my dear girl. Well, absolutely my dear man. I would have loved it. I would have loved it. I would have loved it, but I hated getting up so early and I
Starting point is 00:48:06 remember like falling asleep in classes and it was like no chance that I'd retain me. I got caught napping at Mr. Show one time. I just I had my head down on my desk. Right. Because it was like you were in high school when you joined. Yeah, I was a prodigy. I joined when you was listed. I was drafted. I, Mr. Show. But yeah, I remember Bob owning it. Oh, no, it's coming in. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall.
Starting point is 00:48:29 It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall. It's the hall.
Starting point is 00:48:37 But I'm an American citizen. So it's Mr. Show. I remember Bob coming in and just like laughing in a ruf way, like, oh man. Oh man. Because you were tired? I didn't know what else to do. Like it was, I think it was also like a crunch time for the show where we were,
Starting point is 00:48:55 because we were writing the show, but we were all also in it and shooting stuff on location and then coming back to the office and writing. And getting paid for half the time that you were. Yeah. And I just like it was just one of those days where I was like I this has to happen. Yeah. This has to happen.
Starting point is 00:49:12 He kind of he playing solitaire once. It was very embarrassing. I got to play a computer game. Yeah. Yeah. We had those back. Yeah. Bob couldn't understand this.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Like it was you got scolded or mocked for doing something like this. But then I remember one time he let Jay Johnston bring a PlayStation into work and play Tomb Raider. What? And I remember looking at the like, how does he get away? How is not all easy getting away with this? How is this encouraged?
Starting point is 00:49:39 I bet that he wanted like Jay was talking about it and Bob was like, bring it in. I want to see what this is. Yeah, I want something like that. And then everyone just played, they played Tomb Raider, they watched Jay play it for a while. Like, you motherfucker, I played like, I had a window open on my desktop, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:49:55 I just realized though that I feel like I'm always on myself for being my phone so much, but I used to sit on the computer and play solitaire, waste my life, play the Sims, I loved that stuff, but that's like equally lame. Like I don't know. I don't know. It's not new that I'm doing this. Yeah, but everything, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:13 you could look at anything you do as though this is a waste of time. No, I know, I mean, I'm saying like, I'm giving myself a break, so I'm like, wait, I've been doing that myself for a break, everything I do is worth. I was giving you a break too. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:50:22 Hey, speaking of breaks, let's give ourselves one. We'll be right back. We'll be right back. One more minute. One more minute. Break. Okay. One more minute. So that podcast. I'll give you a break. 60. 50. Okay. We'll see you after this. Bye. We're back. We're back. We're back. I love us. Century Boulevard. We love us. Um, wait. Santa Monica. He's back. Max Madsen. What was that? Well, I don't know what that is. He's back. He's back. Mac Madsen. Shefan, do you know what that is? You with me? He's back Mac Madsen. Mac Madsen. So presumably Mac Madsen left at some point.
Starting point is 00:51:08 But. Mac Madsen commercial, it's a Mitsubishi company. Oh. Oh. Mac Madsen is a Mitsubishi company. Are you gonna play it? She's. So are you gonna play it or what?
Starting point is 00:51:21 Are you gonna play it? Are you gonna play it or should I make it tinny for my phone? From my phone. Should I play a feature? Well, we gotta hear this goddamn max-matten. That max-matts and that's right, or pay the price. A Mitsubishi company. Shevon can't even find it.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Play it, shevon. This is how stupid this is. Let's play it, Sheffan. Someone out there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sheffan. That Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh,
Starting point is 00:51:49 Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh, I don't know why you. Oh, remember this is Max Madsen and not we wish you a Miss. That was the Christmas version. That was brutal. That was brutal. That was the Christmas find out who version. Christmas find out who version. Christmas find. Okay, what's your feature?
Starting point is 00:52:11 The game is called the laughing game. The laughing. I've got that. I wish well. We're having a laugh. Fun. The rules of the laughing game are straightforward. One player begins by saying the word ha with a straight face. The second player continues saying ha ha
Starting point is 00:52:29 followed by ha ha ha and so so and so forth. And so so. And a circle. The object is to keep going as long as possible without cracking up. If a player breaks so much as a smile, he's up again.
Starting point is 00:52:41 So much as a smile. Okay. Who wants to get a start? So you add up a ha every time. Okay. You at wait, you keep adding laugh sounds? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Let me get into my headspace. Now, the versionally of life, and the... Said you could use other laugh sounds like he. Oh, okay. But do we have to remember that? No, I think you just have to do more than the last person. Okay, so we need to, okay, got it. Let me think about, uh, Oh, maybe it makes sense to try to copy what they did. That's more fun.
Starting point is 00:53:11 We're already adding wrinkles to this. Oh, and also you have to wrinkle. Okay. Listen, wait, okay. So we're counting. We have to count. We have to keep track of how many. Yeah, I don't think it's going to get that high. Come on, come on. We're breaking our, we're breaking our, I got it. Okay, let me think about this. Ooh, it's breaking. Who's that? We're breaking our oath.
Starting point is 00:53:30 No, I gotta get in, I gotta get prepared for this. I gotta think about this Oprah episode. I know, cracker smile. You know cracker smile. Wait, where's your Mitsubishi? Mm-hm. Wait, where's your Mitsubishi? Oh. Wait, where's your? That's the next layer is you have to sing that without smiling. Okay. We wish you a nice and easy. We wish you a nice and easy.
Starting point is 00:53:45 Next layer is you have to sing that without smiling. Okay. Ready? Ha. Ha. You have to say ha ha. I'm so sorry. Let's start again. Wait for it. Ha. Okay. Back to note and not smiling.
Starting point is 00:54:01 All right. Ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. You're out. Wait, you're out.
Starting point is 00:54:14 It's when you do it. It's when you say it. Oh, you're allowed to laugh between. That's what I thought. Okay. I was allowing myself to laugh between. I don't think that's in the rule. We got to start again.
Starting point is 00:54:23 Okay. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Okay, I was allowing myself to laugh between I don't think I don't think that's in the rule. We gotta start again. Okay Ha You're not it's not my turn. I'm laughing Okay, we just decided that wasn't allowed. Oh, it's not allowed. Okay great ready listen Listen listen, okay, all right everyone everyone. Listen to me, Linda, you know that video? No. My mom and I quote it all the time.
Starting point is 00:54:51 No, we've talked about it. You get the spanking now. I never talked about that. Yes, you have. Kevin, we've talked about listening to you, Linda. I don't know, listen to me, Linda. You don't have to film it. I feel like we've talked about this.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Because it's only not HR if you film it. Oh, not HR. All right, here we go. HR puff and stuff comes. You can do it with something Kevin like a pen or whatever. Yeah, definitely use a pen. I like your cool getting spank stance. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, do it for me to open up my story.
Starting point is 00:55:17 Okay. All right, ready and go. I'm in trouble. I need to fill it. Yay! Let's go see, good luck. Don't give me the pen. And may I present you with the ceremonial pen?
Starting point is 00:55:32 I swear we'd talk about that before. Well, what is it? Well, if you can't tell me what it is, I get my spanking back. What is that being? Did you spank him? Okay, this is nothing you spank Scott. I don't want to do that.
Starting point is 00:55:42 This is like Scravel or what? No one does. I don't get it to her. This is like scrap or no one does. I don't get it. Okay. Okay. Ha ha. Ha ha who? Ha ha who he.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Ha ha who he ho. Ha you're out. Lauren's out. Okay. We should start over because I can't remember what it is anymore. Well then you're out. I won. What? No. Ha ha. It just happened.
Starting point is 00:56:07 Then there was like your house. No, go go go. We should start over because I'm losing. Start with four. Four. Okay. Ha ha, he, ho. Ha ha, he, ho, he. I can't do it. Did you ever do make me laugh? Oh, yeah. I loved it, but you didn't do it. Did you ever do make me laugh? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:26 I loved it, but you didn't like it? No, it was, it make me laugh was this, for people don't know, it was a game show that got revived a number of times. It was an old game show, and when I, I was here for just a few years, I guess it was after, or around the time of Mr. Show. Yeah, it was around the 90s, mid 90s.
Starting point is 00:56:43 It was, I did it, I did it in 96, I think. Okay, yeah. And it was my first TV credit. The idea was you, it was a game show. It was a game show where comedians are trying to make contestants laugh. Who are just like regular people? Just regular people.
Starting point is 00:56:58 60 seconds to make someone laugh. And the longer you didn't laugh, the more money you got. Yeah. And you were a committing on that? Yes, thank you. You were not a regular person. I didn't mean like that. I just meant you were on it.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Yeah. I remember watching both versions, old and new of that. I believe Ken. Ken, over, yeah. Over from remote control did it for a while. And then when I did it, Mark Cohen, our good friend Mark Cohen was the host. I did it under both regimes. Oh, you did, over, yeah. Over from remote control did it for a while. And then when I did it, Mark Cohen, our good friend Mark Cohen was the host. I did it under both regimes.
Starting point is 00:57:28 Oh, you did, right. Yeah. Have you ever been interested in hosting a game show? I would do. I love game shows. It would depend. I mean, I've tried to create a few. I'm still like trying to develop one.
Starting point is 00:57:39 It's tough. It's a thing that's come up over the years. I might be more inclined to do it now. I don't know. The problem of hosting the game show is, if it's like a regular straight up network game show, the job is mostly like the heavy lifting of explaining the game.
Starting point is 00:57:54 And I was like, I'm like, I'm saying the same thing over and over. But like, if you do it like Dick Clark or Steve Harvey, like, there's fun to be had. Well, Steve Harvey is having a great time. He's, I like watching him when he gets so upset with what people say. Um, what was I just gonna say?
Starting point is 00:58:10 Oh, I was thinking the other night, why didn't I create the proposal? The worst issue. Oh, I wanted to talk to you, but I almost texted you about it. Oh my God, do you watch it? I watched it and it's, the first episode is like, they picked the worst one to start with. It was crazy. Or maybe it's the best episode is like they pick the worst one to start.
Starting point is 00:58:25 It was crazy. Maybe it's the best one of them. The way the proposal works. It's this news show that comes on right after the bachelor. And it's a person who wants to get married and there's behind a shroud. There's 20. There's a shroud. They're behind a wall.
Starting point is 00:58:38 A shroud of turn. A wall. What's a shroud? I think a shroud is something that goes around. Like a curtain you mean. Yeah, but they were trying something. Yeah, right. And then there's a whole bunch of women who kind of do this horrible Miss America-esque
Starting point is 00:58:53 pageant where they're all- Some episodes it's men, four women. Yes, but in this first one it was a man and then all women. And then 20 women who come out and then they- And they say like little facts about themselves. And then they're like a mirror bikini sometimes. Yeah. And that was really weird because they're all not used to that. And then they're like in their bikinis sometimes. And that was really weird because they're all not used to that.
Starting point is 00:59:07 It's not like Miss America where they've been practicing. Yeah, no, they're all like, I have to be in a bikini. And they're kind of sitting there like, they're kind of like old-fashioned. They look uncomfortable. Yeah. And then, then like there's a point where the guy behind the thing goes like, and are you comfortable marrying a, um, an amputee? Right.
Starting point is 00:59:24 Because he lost a limb. And then, but... By the way, the prize for these women is to marry a police officer from Bakersfield. Where is it so like, you could get that girl, go to a bar, you could meet him tonight. And then it's like... The one thing I have to say is it was more regular people
Starting point is 00:59:43 than the bachelor is. Totally, and the people were pretty normal looking. They were pretty normal looking, and it was like, it was storing to me actually, because. Because I was like, wait, these are not models who are trying to gain fame after this. These are like kind of regular people who are looking for a regular person,
Starting point is 00:59:59 but they didn't live in the same city, so how's it work? But at the end, the man proposes to the one he chooses. And then there's no follow up. No, and then there was a little bit of a video I was like, I didn't see it. I see the answer. Right? You see the answer.
Starting point is 01:00:13 They're still together. Okay, you see the answer, but. No, but it's so weird because they're like, they act as though they really are in love with the person. Like, you're the type of person I've been looking for. And it's like, you have so little information about this person. Because this is not like the bachelor
Starting point is 01:00:28 where they spend all this time. It's been five weeks. Which is already ridiculous. No, this is literally like 20 minutes. Yeah, they've had 20 minutes here. I mean, it's an hour, but like you talk to each one, each the man is talking to each woman for a total of five minutes.
Starting point is 01:00:42 I mean, like not even by the end. So like, it's crazy. And I was like, why did I not think of this? And then at the same time, I'm going, because it's so crazy, I would never think that would be an idea. Like I would never let myself suggest that to somebody. I was wondering, why aren't there female hosts
Starting point is 01:00:57 of game shows? I can't even think of one. Jane Lynch. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. But that's one. But isn't that weird? Yeah, it is weird. I don't know
Starting point is 01:01:05 I think I did Rosio Donald has to game show at some point may oh Ellen does your game show Oh, that's funny. What you talked about that too. I don't want to spanking It's a deterrent see it works it works it works I still don't know what listen to me Linda is It's a viral video of a little boy talking to his I don't know what the relation is because he called her Linda But he she's trying to punish him and he's like Linda listen He's trying to reason with her Okay, but I have to yell at you guys.
Starting point is 01:01:46 I don't know that we talked about this. I think I got a spanking for you. I think it was a false spanking. I feel like on tour at least. I'm sure I've mentioned this. That's not the rules. I know. And I'm sorry if I got you an unwarranted spanking.
Starting point is 01:02:04 We will label it as unwarranted when I post it Look we need to wrap it up. We need to wrap it up guys Oh 45 I had fun Can you see by the dawn's early light What's a proudly we hail At the twilight's last gleaming
