Starting point is 00:00:00 Freedom! Freedom! Six, seven, five, four, freedom! Six, seven, five, four, that was fun. That was so fun. Can I tell you something? I had a great time doing this. It's so weird. Here we go. Numbers go in any time doing this. It's you, and you, or here we go. Numbers go in any order you want.
Starting point is 00:00:27 It doesn't fucking matter. Do you remember the drummer in... I pick up the phone. You don't know, Lauren, but Paul, do you remember the drummer? This is Paul, by the way. He's one of the three to members. Don't want to show it up without a gift for our Lord Jesus? Yes, I do.
Starting point is 00:00:41 On the Easter Sunday? Yep, on Easter Sunday. Where'd you show up? You showed up without a gift for Lord Jesus. The drummer who showed up without a gift for Lord Jesus. On Christmas. Oh, wait, wait. No, we've returned on Easter. Oh, oh, again. Yeah. The little drummer boy came back on Easter. Okay. That's a story as a man. He's a man now. Yeah. He must be 33. He's like 38 probably. Would you be surprised that I think you're talking about a real drummer and something that really happened on Easter? I wouldn't because you're stupid. I'm a master manipulator. Hey, I'm dumb. Um, no, the drummer on Johnny loves
Starting point is 00:01:20 Chachee. Do you remember him? In the band? Oh, it sticks. Sticks. Sticks was on Joni loves Chachi. Wait, Joni loves Chachi. No, I remember the, the happy days. Oh, oh, oh, oh, maybe stick. Oh, I had your time from the band sticks, suddenly, like you're, no, no, he's in sticks. Wait, wasn't Joni loves Chachi the drummer in sticks?
Starting point is 00:01:41 That would be amazing. My name is Joni loves Chachi. And I'll be playing the drums for you today. I like that name of that show. Joni Lozcacci. Well, you know, it was a play on an earlier show called Bridget Lozberni. I did not know that.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Yes, yes, yes, yes. And that was a show that I think the hook of it was, it was a regular old white girl loves a Jew. How long Earth? How did that happen? was a regular old white girl loves a Jew. How? How did that happen? I think that was the hook. Like she was either Protestant or Catholic. Weird.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And then she was dating a Jewish guy. Speaking of weird. Weird premises for TV shows. I went down the rabbit hole of like, I was, you know, I've stayed kind of away from the info about it. Like I know it as a cultural reference, but Amos and Andy, I was like,
Starting point is 00:02:26 I got to figure out exactly what happened with this. Like one day I was just like enough being in the dark about the ins and the outs. Is there any way it's redeemed? What is that? No, I wasn't that, but I was. But I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm, I It was a radio program where upon the actors who were, and I believe the writers who were white, portrayed people who were black.
Starting point is 00:02:50 Oh. And what I found actually interesting about the story is that by the time it became a TV show, people were like, thought it wasn't right. And they did blackface on TV. They started with blackface on TV and then they realized that wasn't gonna fly. And so then they cast, they did blackface on TV. They started with blackface on TV and then they realized that wasn't going to fly. And so then they cast, they cast black actors in it. And then people were upset that it wasn't the voices that they'd come to know and love on
Starting point is 00:03:13 the radio. And so the whole thing just kind of fell apart. The voices are insane too. It's like, it's a crazy caricature. It's horrible. Right. But I was, I was glad. I just assumed that it was on for years and it was popular and everyone loved it. But I was, I was glad. I, I just assumed that it was on for years and it was popular and everyone loved it. But I was, I was interested to learn that by the time it came on TV, people were like, this should not be happening. That's good. And so it was not, so that was the part of the story that I thought it had a happy ending. It was, it was canceled. And now you know the rest of the story.
Starting point is 00:03:41 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We need you to come back. I'm story. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We need you to come back. I'm here. Okay. I'm here. I just didn't know what you're talking about, but now I'm ready for the next thing. So whatever happens next, I'm so excited to talk about that. Okay. Well, let's update our references from Joni loves Chaachi and Amos and the Drummer on Happy Days, figured into a couple episodes. There was one. Maybe it is Joni on Chachi. Joni on Chachi.
Starting point is 00:04:07 So Joni on Chachi was a spin off from Happy Days, which was a spin off of. I don't know. Oh, you know what? I do think it was. I love American style. Right. One of it, something. Yes. And then that was a spin off of. It was not as good. Although it was similar to another show, wasn't it? I don't know. Sad weeks. Great. Sad weeks. I'm looking at Johnny Lipschache's if I can see sticks. Was the drummer. That's a switch to the pitch it right there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:37 Yeah. This week, second week, sad weeks. Third week, fourth week, sad weeks. I'll tell you who I'll tell you who we have a marble week with you. Rico, Master Ellie was one of the characters. See, uh, Bingo Pierce, Mario Master Ellie, and a net Master. Oh, I didn't realize they were all related. This is general. Chachi. Yeah. So no one namedix. Was that Chachi's last name? I told you Stix was unhappy day. No, Chachi, our cola.
Starting point is 00:05:08 Chachi, our cola, of course. I wondered if Stix went over. Who were the Masteryelles or whatever? I guess they must have all been related on the show. They were part of the band or whatever. I'm just saying the drummer would count it off like this. You know how you're used to a drummer going, one, two, three, four.
Starting point is 00:05:21 It was always funny. He went, one, two, three, four, really bored. That. He went, one, two, three, four. Like really bored. That is pretty funny. Hey, at the time, there was only so much comedy that I would have been made. So to you, that was very funny. Well, it was, it hadn't seen a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:05:32 There were only 50 shows ever. And I live Lucy started them all. Yeah, only been 50 TV shows. We could only watch Lucy and the chocolates so many times. They stopped numbering them. Like, it used to be like Yeah, number one, we're pleased to announce Lucy a 60th TV show So you remember when they stopped doing that and I must have been really exciting for you guys
Starting point is 00:05:55 I do I missed it the first time I wasn't there. Yeah, I was like what this is number 83 Come on keep counting. It's fine She count now. It's like this Netflix show is number a million and two. There's so many shows. Lauren boy, I'll never get all the content in the world. That's what's so cool. My I believe like like
Starting point is 00:06:21 after love believe that from a great song by the way. I said great. Well, have you heard the Adam Lambert cover from the Mark Twain Pendy? Oh, gorgeous. I bet it's where he dresses up as Mark Twain. Did I play that's already because it's abs? No, I think I might have even played. If he had done that, no, no, no, I don't think so. I think it was on Twitter. Kevin, she haven't bring it up. That would have been amazing.
Starting point is 00:06:41 What are you doing? Just sitting there reading your email. Come on, chef. Adam Lambert at the Kennedy Center. At a Lambert believe it's absolutely it's incredibly moving, stunning arresting performance. Mm-hmm. And then you got share watching it and being moved to tears. She cries a single tearfuls out of her stone face. Stone solid. It's here for us out of our stone face. Stone solid. I don't know what this hearing is. Hill throw him out. Throw him out?
Starting point is 00:07:11 That only means he's a dramatic. He does take one out at some point. We're talking about, of course, as any of your monitors, which... That's not actually a notoriously give people a hard time. Yeah. That technology is yet to be perfect
Starting point is 00:07:32 So he slows it down It's not just that like he really acts They're already crying just George Washington from Hamilton think. I can see something inside of me. I really don't think it's wrong enough now. Who are they? There's Jasmine and Ceefus Jones. They're on Hamilton's side. They're on Hamilton's side.
Starting point is 00:08:04 He's in Starisborne. There's no one there. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here.
Starting point is 00:08:12 There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here.
Starting point is 00:08:20 There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here. There's no one here I really like it. Bring it down a little bit and we'll talk over it until the very ends because the very end is just like the bitter end. He fucking goes for it. It makes me want to see Queen just this performance even though he'll be singing Queen songs.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I would love to see Reba. He is one of the best people to ever come out of American Idol. Yeah, he is. He is. I always like him. I always like him. Um, the chick from Reba singing along? Reba was also honored to the same as his share.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Did she invite her to the whole cast of Reba? Hmm, at least one of them. My wife and I watched her share. Shares like, I think I'm feeling something. I love shares so much. Me too, I love her. I love her so much. I love her Twitter.
Starting point is 00:09:02 We watched a clip of her with then Chastity Bono on the Sunday in Cher show. And it's like this was the days of TV where like no one there were no rules like us. Yeah. And she brings Chastity out who's wearing an identical outfit to share. And they just do this extended thing where they have a conversation. And then Cher says, do you want to host the show? And so they pretend like like she's going to come out and do the same show open that share just did. This is like
Starting point is 00:09:36 it's not playing you off it's giving you the courage to be going on this story that's not what happened. Look at her, the shares in tears. Everyone needs to go watch this. She looks better now than she did then. How many views does this have? This has 2,884,000. Okay, so judging by everyone who's listening, we can attribute it to them.
Starting point is 00:09:57 At least 100 more by the time this episode is going to be. There's Lim Manuel. Share guests. Whoo! Mm. Oh, my God. It made me really think about it. Do you believe in it?
Starting point is 00:10:20 I don't even know anymore about that. After love, life is over. Hey, call me cynical. So they brought us Chastity. And they did the thing where it's like, hey, do you want to host the show? Yeah. And it's fucking adorable.
Starting point is 00:10:32 It's unbelievable. It's like they, they, it's something you don't really see that much. Like they clearly, they have like a regular mom and child relationship. Right. They're very sweet together. It's I have three great moments that we just watched. Right. The Chastity Bono thing and her, her butt on that ship.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Yeah. And I think that what a career. People should also listen to shares covers of Abba songs because they're pretty fun from that recently. Yes. Or did she do a whole album? She did an album, but I think it was related to the movie. I don't know, because I didn't see that. What does she do? Take a chance?
Starting point is 00:11:10 She does. Yeah, she might, but she also does. Lulee Vu? She does. She goes, wait, hold on. What is the one in? But she goes, she goes. Wait, she goes.
Starting point is 00:11:19 She goes. She goes, she goes, she goes, she goes, she goes. What's the song? I've seen you twice in a short time. What's the song? Just speed it, speed it. I've seen you twice in your time. It's the name of the game. That's the song. That's my favorite one. She does it all. When it takes it all.
Starting point is 00:11:33 When it takes it all. She did a whole album called Dancing Queen. She does Dancing Queen. Give me, give me, give me, give me. Name of the game. SOS, Waterloo, Mama Mia, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, What is that one? Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chiquit, Chamia, Chikita. What is that one? Chikita. It's Chikita.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Fernando, the winner takes it all in one of us. For now. Damn. That's solid. Solid album. Those are all album songs. And the name of the game doesn't have a star next to it on my Apple music as if people aren't loving that one the most.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Well, let me tell you what, it's a great song. Okay. Don't just judge for what other people like. Oh, you know what that makes me think of this the that footage of George Michael doing some of the thing is in the bathroom. Did he get a durable up his ass? Oh, that's right. Everybody got a terrible. I know. But you know, I've told you, they did for real, but there was, there was a local, there was a local newscaster in Philadelphia that that rumor started about as well. That's so after the Richard, after all, it's so funny. It's so funny to like go off on some local newscaster, just start a town rumor.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Yeah. Everyone's like, Hey, that random person that we see on the news specifically does this thing. That's funny. He went just like Richard Geer. He was in the hospital with a gerbil. He's so strange. If you said Dallas, that was real.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Dallas Reigns also did that. I'd be like, I get it. Yeah, get it big. So what video of George Michael are you talking about? Wait, but this guy moved out to LA. And then the rumor followed him out to LA, which is like in Los Angeles. There's no way, but but people, how were you an adult when that room? I don't think anyone believed it. No, I was a, I was in high school because it feels like only kids would be saying that. It wouldn't actually
Starting point is 00:13:21 affect anything because you're doing it. Do you think you, hey, you're the guy from the news guy that gerbil up is us. Did you get from the news man? He gerbil us. But okay George Michael video George Michael singing so many to love the queen. Oh, yeah. Was it Ed Wembley or rehearsal footage? Oh, that's right. I did see that.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It's the most joyous. And it isn't David Bowie's watching. Well, also didn't, uh, of course, there's Christ is there. There's also spirit. Yeah, there's everywhere. There's video of David Bowie singing under pressure with any Lennox.
Starting point is 00:13:55 Wow. Wow. I haven't seen that. That's the really cool stuff where like, oh, so mine sucked. No, no, no. You got to find it. The way you described it, it was bad. The other one that he's seen is good. Can I put my clip here? No, that it's really cool, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, I got to see this. Oh, I got to see it.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Yeah, let's check a little bit of this out. That is not what I'm talking about. He's him out of it. Is that Peter Satera? Is that something to do? I mean, that's the actual, that's not the rehearsal footage. She's just like a Harlequinau. Yes.
Starting point is 00:14:40 Yeah, this is the rehearsal footage. Okay, this is it. Turn it up, bro. This is, is this freedom rock? This is the rehearsal footage, okay. This is it. Turn it up, bro. This is freedom rock. This is so fun. For us. Yeah, for the rehearsal. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:54 I wouldn't have done that. I'd be worried right there. You wouldn't have done that. I was so. Oh, it looks great. It's good. Very striking. It's really soft.
Starting point is 00:15:04 I'm the plus of the parts of building up. So right now, she's kinda singing like, But we look great. Very striking. It's really sad. So right now she's kind of singing like the lower interregister needs like the shirt. And she's just doing the V-Bag. That's okay. The two of us are going with this world is a lot. And it It's a little it's for her soul. She's in it out. She's a little shaky. I want to cancel this. Who is that guy? What's he doing? Why is he doing that?
Starting point is 00:15:45 I don't know what that is. She's the best. Oh, she's the best. There's the kids from Jurassic Park. What? Me? He plays him in the movie. He's the one who speaks.
Starting point is 00:15:57 People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the streets. People in the movie.
Starting point is 00:16:07 He's a better smile than you. He's smoking while he's crying. That's gonna come back to my jimbo. He does look pretty happy. He's giving her like, really great eyes. Like he's giving her like, and George Michael's in the background. He's just fucking like,
Starting point is 00:16:44 here comes the blue guy. Michael's in the background. He's just fucking like an angel. Oh, here he comes. He's just doing some fun. He's dressed like a New Zealand guy. He's dressed like a New Zealand guy. Oh, that's somebody's favorite. He's not one of the New Zealanders. I Dress my Oh, I Dirt Michael And his somebody loves sounds great. Yeah, the George Michael. It's really true. I don't have my own time I guess I will say I was always a George Michael I was always a George Michael fan I was always a George Michael fan in...
Starting point is 00:17:46 Were you a George Michael stand now? I think I was thinking we're at a point where you don't have to say stand to everyone. You know who I stand? You don't stand everything. And them. Okay, fine, that's the original stand. He's the only one I stand. You don't stand everyone.
Starting point is 00:18:00 I did send a threatening letter to him. You say that you're standing for very specific people, okay? Yeah. I agree. Hey, Lauren, I agree. I would say I'm generally a fan of things. Yeah. A fanatic.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Yeah. Airplay passcode is 8197. Guys, guys, get over here. 8197, you can do it. If you could be over in the next 10 minutes. Get rid of it. Kevin, get rid of it. Get rid of it, Kevin. God, Ryan, Ryan, what Get rid of it. Kevin get rid of it. Get rid of it, Kevin.
Starting point is 00:18:25 God, Ryan and Ryan, what a rid of it. It's our play pass code. It's the security breach. We don't get on my Sam. Security breach. Security breach. What are you doing, General? Maybe. This is a weird episode.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Security breach into my heart. Are we still in the show? Okay, well, let's talk about stuff that's not videos. Maybe this is a weird episode security beach into my heart. Are we still in the show? Okay, well, let's talk about stuff that's not videos. Okay. All right. How about this? This is gonna be tough.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Okay. Did you guys see that movie? You got to crash your about the cars? You got a question. I'm gonna have one by the time I met him. By the time I met him, I met him. By the time I met him, I met him. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:05 If you had to work at a specific, we never got to the answer on this. What? From the last one, if you were sponsored by a company, what company would you be sponsored by? And you had to wear a jacket that said it. But they paid your whole mortgage. But your clothes had to say yeah. Anybody? I know. But everywhere you went, everywhere you went.
Starting point is 00:19:30 Bright Bart. It had that logo over your clothes. Would you, how much money would it take for you to have bright Bart? Oh, no, I could, I could, you just couldn't know. No matter what, you have any couldn't. I could. You just couldn't. No matter what. You don't have any morals? 10 million dollars?
Starting point is 00:19:48 No. For 10 million dollars, you would think money changes morals. You have posed questions like this at what? No, you think you know, how much money would you do this? I just think that certain people would start to justify the behavior of it. You also said somebody could buy your birthday for a thousand dollars. Yes, please. I don't need it.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Buy your birthday. I want to ask you a question to based on a previous episode. All right. You asked me. Lauren, bring in the receipts. If I would just give you 20 bucks for no reason. Yeah. Would you give me 20 bucks for no reason?
Starting point is 00:20:22 Sure. Really? If I was like kind of 20 bucks, you just go here and you wouldn't even have to say like, I need it. Yeah. Of course. I would do that too. You would do that. I would give it to you, but I'd really wonder why you wanted it. Because in normal human interaction, you would say, hey, do you have $20 that I can have because of this thing? You wouldn't just say $20. $20 the end. I want to kind of clarify because I,
Starting point is 00:20:49 when we talked about it, it was it- I thought that was very telling. You put, wait, I think you thought there was some big message there that I wouldn't just give you $20. I would give a homeless person $20 before I would give you $20. What?
Starting point is 00:21:01 Because I know you have $20. No, I don't. I need $20. If you were, Because I know you have $20. No, I don't. I need $20. If you were, like, I just want to make clear my point is not that I'm so stingy that would never give anyone $20. I give money away to charities and people. Sure. But it's weird.
Starting point is 00:21:16 I don't want to give you $20. It's weird that you don't want to give me $20. But I will. If you really want it so bad. Can I give both of you $20? Okay. And what do I have to do? Just shut the fuck up. If you give us both 20s and Can I give both of you $20? Okay, but then I'll give it to Scott.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Just have to fuck up. If you give us both 20s and then we give it to each other. No, I don't want your money. This is what I want you guys to give each other 20. No, it actually doesn't. I don't want to take $20 from you. I want it to be uncomfortable. It makes me uncomfortable.
Starting point is 00:21:40 I want 20 from Lauren. What I'm saying. I don't think I have. I want it to be her $20.'m saying. I don't think I have. And I want it not. I want it to be her $20. I was saying I'm not $20. I'm willing to fund this. No, I want it to be money that she has earned. I want to understand what you think is being shown by me not wanting to give it to you,
Starting point is 00:21:57 but I would give it to a homeless person. Yeah, it's really what does it show you? What does it tell you? It just tells me a lot about your personality. Such as about how you raised and to value the dollar. Oh, you value a dollar more than me more than friendship. You don't need it. You have I don't know why I don't need it to what? I don't need my dollars. You talk about your money all the time.
Starting point is 00:22:21 No, I don't. You're constantly saying. You robbing it, I'm spending money on something else, guys. Guess what it is this time. And then you spend $20 on it. OK, so what brand would you be able to wear all of your body? Porsche! That's what you'd be. Of course.
Starting point is 00:22:43 I feel that I still need to go back to this. This is a weird question because it's like, what brand would you? Well, it's not real. It's completely fake. No, but that's why it's a bad question. It's like, well, I pick. I don't know if I've got bad questions. I pick Cartier.
Starting point is 00:22:56 I pick like the most luxury brand. You have to wear shirts and say that everywhere you go. Yeah, great. So lame. That is lame. I hear you. Here's what mine is. Everyone would make fun of you. Here's what mine is. Everyone make fun of you. Here's what mine is.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Tasty cake. That is the local baked goods company in Philadelphia. So you're actually trying to get them some good advertising in addition to the mine. If it works for them great, but they're paying my fucking mortgage. Absolutely, I'll wear a tasty cake.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Sure. I like their font. I like the product. What are they taste like? Tastes like their fart. I like the product. What are they taste like? They taste like sweet things. They're delicious. I just got to agree. I would you like Driscoll's fruit. Driscoll's fruit. What's Driscoll's fruit? Some strawberry brand or something. And people would be calling you like fruity. Yeah. They'd very short cake.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Hey pineapple head. Oh, no, you don't do pineapple. Wow. This is a real Twilight zone. It came back to my tummy. Well, because you don't know. Just pay people calling you pineapple head. That's true. I would bet everything. It's got come on. What would it be? I want everyone to know. I'm a generous friend. I don't really don't understand the question. I feel that he is held on. No, they're sitting here. No, because he's clinging. I just think it's weird.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Okay. I just think it's strange that if I were to come up to you and say, Oh, do you have $20 that you would ask me what for? No, I'd give it to you, but for you, I'd say why? It's Kevin said, hey, do you have $20? That's weirder. I'd actually probably give a to him without as many questions as with you.
Starting point is 00:24:27 With me, you'd, I just don't, I don't have $20. You don't think he's gonna spend no, here's the thing. He needs that. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, I'm telling you, this is why you think it's weird
Starting point is 00:24:37 because I'm telling you I don't need it. I just want $20. That is why it's weird. But why is that strange that what, because I would rather have $20? No, because I would rather have my own money that I've worked hard for. Work hard for?
Starting point is 00:24:51 Please, I work hard. She worked hard for it, honey. Or you think you work harder than me? Come on, no, man, we work here. I'm carrying this. We work equally hard. That's such a joke. But anyway, all I'm saying is,
Starting point is 00:25:03 if somebody who needs money and isn't need would like to money, I don't need the money. That's why I want the money. This is almost a pointless argument. Thank you. But here's my point about your question. I'm going to give you $100 for your birthday. You are?
Starting point is 00:25:19 Yeah. Okay. Great. So here's, but then you'll never celebrate your birthday ever again. And I'm owning the date. Wait a minute. I thought I was accepting a thousand for this. You gotta talk to yourself down.
Starting point is 00:25:32 If you, honestly, if you give me a thousand dollars, just because I want it, I'll give you something in return. Like I'm buying something from you? No, no, I'm saying. What are you gonna give me? I'll give you something. How about this? I'll give you a thousand dollars and you never celebrate your birthday again.
Starting point is 00:25:52 And if anyone's a civic birthday to you, say, shut up. Shut up, that's Lauren's now. All right, look, we have to take a break. We'll be right back. We're back. We're back. We be sedibo. Lauren, you said you had a question. No, I didn't.
Starting point is 00:26:19 I was actually fully kidding. I have a question. I would love for someone else to ask a question. Okay. I have a question. Paul, what's your question? I made a tweet. I would love for someone else to ask a question. Okay. I have a question. Paul what's your question? I Made a tweet Recently, congratulations. How many characters? Me. I made a tweet 143
Starting point is 00:26:33 I said it was a joke tree, but it's also kind of it was also kind of serious, right that you're straddling the line between Drama this is what I do This is why I'm doing that is what I make people think. This is the art of what I'm doing. That's right. That's why I'm different. I said, like most people, I keep a running list in my head of people that I don't know if they like me or despise me. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:00 And then Lauren, I started talking about it on text and I actually wrote out my list. I wasn't involved in this. No, you're on my list. You didn't ask about it. Lauren did. No, no, no, but I did, I did follow up and say, who are you talking about? Yeah. And then I actually wrote them down. And then I was going to do mine, but then I feared it would be too long because I I always think that somebody hates me or something everywhere. Well, I was going to be too long and then I realized, well, there's some people that I don't, I don't know, but I don't care about so much.
Starting point is 00:27:29 There's people in a list that I showed you that I don't necessarily like them, but I don't know what reason I've given for them to not like me. But I think that's usually the basis, like if you really investigate you go, maybe I have a problem or something and that's why I think this person doesn't like me. I've never come to that conclusion. It's the same thing as like when you, like the faults you see in other people are problems with yourself or something.
Starting point is 00:27:52 It's like that you're going like, I think this person is like me because I'm putting out the energy of I don't like them. Right, yeah. But I'm like a friendly guy, and I don't think I don't think I put that energy out to these people. Friendliest Casper the ghost himself. Yeah, I'm dead. What? So I, so I sent my list to Lauren and then it was, I see the list. I'll show you the list. It was, of course, you cannot say any of
Starting point is 00:28:16 the names out loud. Right. Everyone assumes that I'm on the list. I'm not on the list because you're going to show me the list. People, anytime you got, because we do so many shows together, anytime you tweet something like that. No list. People anytime you got, because we do so many shows together, anytime you tweet something like that. No, anytime you tweet something like that, people joke around like, oh, yeah, Ocrumbs on the list or whatever. I think I saw. That's how Hollywood people don't understand.
Starting point is 00:28:32 They want to eat my hair and stuff. I'm the wicked man. All right, let me see this. Parents simply don't understand. Parents. What is it with them? So I sent this list to Lauren and there were a couple people that she responded about like saying yeah I get that from that person too and or
Starting point is 00:28:48 Oh that guy is just like he's on some sort of spectrum or something But then there were other people you did not say anything about it. I was like it's true They don't like me. Oh, I need more than I just like have no opinions. I don't know what your actions are One at least one of these is insane. Insane. Yeah. There's one guy I can take off for sure. Cause what? What?
Starting point is 00:29:10 No, it was fun. Well, cause he's the best man in my wedding. Let me highlight the one that I think is insanity. Okay. Let me see. All right, that's the one that I just, I know that's not insanity. I just don't understand that. Well, because this person is extremely hard to read.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Stranger, that's the one that I said, he is actually, can't make him off the way to a lot of people because it seems like that, because he doesn't really outwardly show a lot of affection. That came up in the Hawaii trip, we talked about this person. Who is, by the way, a person that I do like a lot? And I was relieved that other people people had the same feeling and essentially
Starting point is 00:29:47 saying nobody knows nobody knows for sure. And I was like, okay, I feel better now that it's not just me. Yeah, I feel like I get that a lot where people go like, I don't know if you like me or it doesn't like me. I don't I just. I think about you at all. Let me tell you, little Don Cooper. I think about everyone. Every night. I'm not. You sit down for your prayers.
Starting point is 00:30:12 I'm not about every single person. And I think positive thoughts about them. It's such a weird thing to be on the earth for what feels like an eternity. Well, when you're always as old as you ever have ever felt, right? You're always, I feel like I may be dead.
Starting point is 00:30:30 Exactly, I may be dead. I'm like, I'm dying so. You're older than you've ever been, and now you're getting older. Now you're even older. But the ship that stays, the insecurities that stay with you, that you think, I'll be done with that by the time I'm that age.
Starting point is 00:30:45 Well, certainly, I'm realizing that life is short and why would I bother caring about such a thing. You don't care as much, but you do think about these things. You can't control your thoughts, but it's not like, I am definitely not lying awake at night. Like, what can I do to make sure that I can sleep like a normal person? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:03 No, I'm not even. You're getting bad. I sleep at night and I wake up during the day. But do you have a list where you think that people, you could name a few people where you think, I can't tell if they like me or not. Or do you know what to do? You know what to do?
Starting point is 00:31:14 No, don't like me. And then they made it clear. Yeah. And then as far as like people who I don't know, I don't know. Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe you don't spend as much time considering such things. I will, I feel.
Starting point is 00:31:28 I'm looking at myself. Laura looked over at me so slowly and meaningfully. It was as if like, E.X. I said, I need to figure it out. I will say that when you're not the boss and you're working with people, there's a lot of me. There's a lot of me. You're not the boss, you're working with people, there's a lot of me. You are not the boss, I mean, I know they might be giant songs.
Starting point is 00:31:48 When you're like, because I had my own show for a while, when you're the boss of something, it's like just one unending fight with people to get what you need from the show or the project, whatever you're doing. It's just like, you're constantly being told, we can't do this, we can't do this, we can't do this, and you're saying like, but we need to do this, we need to do this. So like all that stuff kind of goes out the window at a certain point where you're just like,
Starting point is 00:32:12 we have a business relationship, and I don't care if you like me or don't like me. It's like, purely about getting the end result done. And yes, we all want to be pleasant to each other, but we're here for a purpose. Never going from never being a boss to suddenly being a boss, which you, which can happen in this weird line of work is a, is a really strange thing. And the, you know, it's hard to be, um, uh, I don't know, it's, it's difficult to walk
Starting point is 00:32:37 the line of getting things done if you're not, and not be a crazy asshole, you know, anything, because you don't want to, you don't want to have the bad news of saying to somebody, this isn't right, or this needs to be different or whatever. It just feels like you're being difficult. It feels like you're saying it's still horrible. Respect the way. That's the horrible thing about being doing, like, sort of,
Starting point is 00:33:00 what we do when you are suddenly, you know, either directing something or in charge of your own show, you just feel like you're being difficult all the time. Because you want, because you want to achieve greatness or whatever. And I'm not saying that you, like, like I flip out and yell at people, because that's not good, you know, to be,
Starting point is 00:33:20 but I'm just saying like, I have a constant feeling like I am difficult to people because I'm saying like, because I'm saying like, hey, can we do this better? Can we, can we, it's a drag, it becomes a drag on, like, I feel like I get home at the end of the day. I'm just like, oh god, I just want to be, like, feel normal and have like a normal interaction with someone where I'm not, you know. When the reality is, like, when you have been an employee of someone in a creative endeavor and they've asked you for changes, you're not thinking, oh my God, this guy is insane. Why is he, he never shuts up.
Starting point is 00:33:53 It's like, no, this is part of the job, I get it. It's also because you're dealing with, someone has an idea in their head that they're trying to make a real thing. And so that requires a certain amount of translating, and it's not going to be right out of the box the first time. I also wonder a process. It's a process. If it has something to do with the very nature of art where people are bringing, you
Starting point is 00:34:17 know, like if you're if you're working out a job where I don't know where you have to have numbers or something, the numbers are there, the data is there. It's I need those numbers. We have to have numbers or something. The numbers are there, the data is there. It's it's I need those numbers. We have to have them. But when it's art, it's like someone's coming to you with their vision and you're saying, Oh, but actually I would rather it be this. And you feel like you're disappointing them because they came to you. I don't know. Yeah. Lauren, you seem like you're zoning out or looking at the TV. What's going on? Well, I did glance at the stopwatch behind your head, but it wasn't really.
Starting point is 00:34:45 Wow, you're talking. I was praying for time to speed up. What was that? What, you could do that all the time. That was an eternity. You could do that all the time. I was interested. I was.
Starting point is 00:34:57 Who's the operative? I don't really think I've ever really been a boss. You were sort of in charge of your characters episode. Yeah, yeah. Definitely, but like but there were a lot of other people. Certainly in charge of the special thanks. There were a lot of people. Understood. And working together on all of those two,
Starting point is 00:35:15 I got to dictate certain elements of it and choose a lot of things. But then other things, I wasn't in control, but I wasn't the director. So then that immediately changes a bit of the perspective because there's another person who's deciding how things go. So then, but like I directed a short film in the fall. Yes, I was really excited.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Did you send it to me and I still have never watched that? Don't watch that one because I'm getting a new edit that I really watched. So you're laziness. Hey, no. Yes. I watched the old one. Not lazy.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Yeah, well, there's a new one. It's going to be much better. I hope so. Because this is okay. Hey, don't. Yes. I watched the old days. Not lazy. Oh, yeah. Well, there's a new one. It's going to be much better. I hope so. I hope so. Wow. He's the next you, not me. But with him, he's so jovial. I'm wearing my goggles.
Starting point is 00:35:54 It's because of how he's dressed. Yeah, it does a lot. A very first off, that's fine. But I had, and it's fine here. I just, I did feel there was a different sense of pressure being the director on the day. We did it all one day, but that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Do you feel like that pressure was pushing down on you? Yeah. Pressure. Any Atlantic's in here to think about it. I felt like. But not great at first. Kind of phone it in for a little bit. I liked it a lot.
Starting point is 00:36:20 I liked being able to control elements that I normally as an actor don't get to control, but I also was realizing just how much work goes onto that side where it's just like every single question is directed towards me. And then everyone needs information and you're the only person with the information and you can spend the entire day answering questions or you can make the thing. Right. And you know what I mean? And hope that some of it gets delegated and just you can make the thing. Right. You know what I mean? And hope that, you know, some of it gets delegated and just people can work with themselves.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Yeah, I was thankful that I had a crew of people who were like really independent. Like they were able to come up with their own thoughts and ideas to like move it forward. So that it wasn't just me going like, here's what has to happen. But it just gave me a newfound appreciation for the role of director. Well, I hope you get to do more of it because from what I've heard about this short, it's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:37:13 Well, hey, I've not watched it. So I see you being supportive now. It's nice. I would like to direct more, though. And we'll see. But I thought it was really fun. Did you wear job purse? Did you ever wear anything? likes to direct more though and we'll see. But I thought it was really fun. Did you wear a job purse?
Starting point is 00:37:26 No. Did you ever bring a microphone? I was in it as well, which is another element that's a little different. I was like, thinking about multiple things. How do I look? How do I look? Do I look thin?
Starting point is 00:37:36 Do I look pretty? I'm always wondering if I look thin. Do you look thin? I've never been able to tell. Have you ever directed? No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:37:48 No. And don't for that reason. Well, you're one of America's great entertainers. You should be directed. Not. You know anything? I like to think so, but I'm also director proof. Did you read that thing when it was like the old Morgan Freeman was in it?
Starting point is 00:38:01 The old guys. The Freeman Kevin Klein. Kevin Klein was in some movie. Some movie together. And they did. Old Vegas, it was called. That's was in it. The old guys, the Freeman Kevin Klein, Kevin Klein was in some movie, some movie together. And they did old Vegas. It was called. That's how clever. And they did it in entertainment weekly. Let's talk about the title for a second.
Starting point is 00:38:14 That's not a play on anything. Last and old are not. It was called all your city old Vegas. Oh, Vegas. That's it doesn't rhyme with loss. No, it's not the opposite of loss. It's not even in the universe of loss. No, or is it last Vegas?
Starting point is 00:38:30 Oh, you think it's last week? Oh, he just googled something. I think it was. That's tricky. Oh, old Vegas. So Paul, your whole brain. This support from the Siri, that old Vegas is a terrible title. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:43 No one even used it. No one even used it. No one even used it. I Very much was convinced that it was called old Last Vegas You're really working yourself up about it too. I do have other things like that though I'm sure there have been other things but not this thing. I know. I want to try to think of one. So they're in entertainment weekly being interviewed like the one bit of press they're doing. They're doing an interview together
Starting point is 00:39:16 and they're talking about I forget if it's just Kevin Klein and Morgan Freeman. Okay. Was it the director of this particular project or was it the director's general project? Yeah. Okay. Well, this particular project? Yeah. No, both. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So they're talking about this director and they say he was fine. He didn't tell me what to do. So that was good. And then they start saying like, oh, God, all I allow a director to tell me is faster or
Starting point is 00:39:37 slower. Yeah. One time, this guy came up to me and tried to give me a direction on how I should be feeling about something. Like, I already know how I'm feeling. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Just tell me faster or slower. That was Morgan and Kevin. Which is so insane because in the exchanges that I've had with people, it's always about like what are you thinking and why would you say this? You know, I feel like as somebody where like he can just talk and it sounds
Starting point is 00:40:04 like there's meaning behind it. Yeah. So like he does mean like faster or slower. Like he's maybe, I'm going to say everything the exact same. Yeah, you know, exactly the same. Yeah. I'm going to say it exactly like Morgan Freeman. I'm going to do it at Morgan Freeman stuff.
Starting point is 00:40:15 So you happen to 30 seconds or happens to the mean. Morgan Freeman. What do you like? What do you want? You like the 30 second version? You like the minute version. I give you both. You like the minute Morgan.
Starting point is 00:40:24 What's the wrong time with this picture? Oh, you wanted to be two hours long? Yeah, time with the playlist. That's not. That's not. I had an experience recently where I was doing something where I was being directed in a character that I had done for many years.
Starting point is 00:40:41 Oh, yeah. And by a new person I had never met before and did not know was going to be directing years. Oh, yeah. And by a new person I had never met before and did not know was going to be directing me. Oh, okay. And so I had to adjust on the fly of like, the thing I tried, like there was a time when I would have been very insulted by that and very upset and like would have felt like,
Starting point is 00:40:58 I was supposed to say something, I should say something to this person. And I would have let it really annoy me. And it was annoying, but I was like, I will, I'm just going to do the professional thing and I'm going to take the direction and do it. But I should, I should have a talk with the person who hired me for this to say, hey, what's the deal here?
Starting point is 00:41:18 No one told me that this was going to happen. That's even worse than the deal with this guy. It was Jerry Senfield. It was Jerry. He loves to direct characters to the previous movie. No, but there's anything deal with this guy? It was Jerry's henfield. It was Jerry. And he loves to direct characters to the previous movies. No, but there's anything wrong with that. Hey, there's not.
Starting point is 00:41:32 Oh, well, well, you know, you know, the careers are going to be long and Lauren. I think that yours is going to have wonderful twists and turns. I think so too. Peaks and valleys. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no up and down. Oh, man. What did you rather just go up and keep some things keep happening? But at a certain point, won't you have got like, you know, you look at like someone who's been nominated for an Oscar or even wins an Oscar undoubtedly their next thing is not
Starting point is 00:42:17 going to be as good, right? But there's so few Tom Hanks is who went back to back. But don't you think like what they should do as they're going up, up, up, and then no, they'll never ever be able to top what they just did. That's when you pivot and you do another hobby. Another hobby, meaning a different job. No, like something else that's challenging. That must be very difficult.
Starting point is 00:42:42 I just feel like it must be very difficult to have achieved that kind of success of like winning an Oscar for something. And then and you're relatively young and you're like, oh no, 30 years. Yeah, those things you wouldn't ask her and then they never do anything. Yeah, yeah, I've 30 years left and it's never going to. And I'm not going to. It's never going to get as good as this, you know? Tatum O'Neill.
Starting point is 00:43:03 Yes. But you know, Sashine Little Fender. That's a quality problem. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha I know everything. It's Hollywood history. You can do everything. Are you uninterested in anything that happened pre, like what's your kind of? I'm 11. What's the point really? You don't wanna know what led up. I'm not uninterested in history.
Starting point is 00:43:32 I don't think that there's any error that I am that I think is uninteresting. I just zone out about certain things, don't you? Right, well, I mean, maybe you're just not interested in the Oscar ceremony or whatever. Like, I like a Warchos. I Right. Well, I mean, maybe you're just not interested in the Oscars ceremony or whatever. Well, I like award shows. I read a book. I had a great book where it was just like, you know,
Starting point is 00:43:50 talked about every single year and what happened and all the trivia and all that kind of stuff. Yeah, I'm not that interested in awards. I had a really great book that told the story. Somebody say the greatest story I've ever told. The Bible. Yeah. Wow.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Do you know this book? I put it in that book. I thought it was a hotel. It is for free. It is for free. It is for free. Can you show it? Can I put conditioner?
Starting point is 00:44:13 Beable. Can I get a beable up here? Can I get a fresh beable? What every hotel you went to, you called down and asked for a Bible. I'm here. I forgot to back one. Could you bring me a Bible? Is this a Bible in every hotel?
Starting point is 00:44:28 I mean, there's no. No, it's certain. I think the the Marriott chain they do really. So a hotel I just stayed in that I don't think has a chain had it. It's such a strange point of view of that. Well, if you're staying in a hotel, you must be at one of the low points of your life. You could be. That's not how I'd respect it.
Starting point is 00:44:45 There's temptations. You strayed from home. There's temptations all around you. I see it as like, here's a general book a lot of people like. Like, it's like Michael Critan. They're just like, it's a Bible. No, no, that's the, It should be sphere.
Starting point is 00:44:57 The religions actually put them in there. The hotels don't. The religions do. No, the hotels do because the Marriott Chainson by Mitt Romney's family. Why do they put Bibles in every room? Why don't they put the book of Mormon in there? Two on the nose. There's so many religious texts you could be throwing in there.
Starting point is 00:45:16 I'd be much more interesting to open your table and see a Quran. But what is the point of view behind it? Because I always assumed it was, I always assumed it was like, let's get these people in their low point. It's not just like, hey, if you're bored, check this out. I think it does come from a tradition of that. Used to be back in the 50s or whatever, if you were at a hotel. If you're traveling, if you're traveling subject, it's like, hey, maybe don't you and your wife forget shit face drunk. That feels so 50s to like think that like that's so like a black and white sad rainy movie
Starting point is 00:45:50 at a motel or the guy's. Sam Raney. Sam Raney movie. I'm sad. I'm sad. I'm sad. I'm sad. I'm sad.
Starting point is 00:45:58 He's about to pour the bottle down. I feel terrible. I directed spy right. I'm the third Raney brother and I do sad movies. You have point. I got your point. I got your point. It feels like a scene from it's a one-for-life. Exactly. Yeah. That's what I mean. It's not really applicable now, especially when you go to a really nice hotel.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Plus I can Google the Bible into my want. Yeah. Google. How many hits does that have? How many unique hits does the Bible have? Got to be in the thousands probably. All right, look, let's take a break. War back. I have a feature that I've selected for my past. This is exciting. So we kind of talked about playing mash and I'll be radar. Colonel Biden. I always turned the channel when that show came on. I know that's that's your generation.
Starting point is 00:46:49 It's a great generation. Um, it's too brown. It's definitely dusty. It's a dusty show. I don't believe there's humor there. Um, so here's how the game works. It's called mash. It's going to tell your future.
Starting point is 00:47:00 It's the fortune telling game. What I need, who wants to go first? What's going to take around? And here's how it works. I have label at the top. I've written M.A.S.H. which stands for mansion apartment. Shack House. Yeah, which is wrong because I put houses a category. So I wasn't thinking. Okay, let's mention apartment. It's a part. That's quite a difference between the two. Shack. Shack is even worse. And it's S-H-A-Q. You live within. You live within. And then how? OK, so the categories are. Does the general come over all the time?
Starting point is 00:47:30 Same with the general, same as I'm dying. So then the categories are spouse, pet, vehicle, job, salary. And so I need Paul to name four things in each category that he would want. And then I'm going to add in one of my own that's a random one to throw it off. And it's always a bummer one.
Starting point is 00:47:48 It might as well be. Okay. So it's fun. So it's a Marcus well be. Let's get three celebrity. That'll be your turn. Wait, your turn. That'll be three celebrity.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Oh, I can't. Four celebrities. Two cruise. Then you would want to marry celebrity crushes. Shit. Do they have to be current? Do we have to reveal our actual crushes? You have to reveal our actual crushes, which will be embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Or just name beautiful people. Or you can name anybody. It can even be funny ones that you don't want or that you do, but would be unexpected like Ellen. Like she's not going to marry you. How do you know? Just give up. She's not gonna marry you dude.
Starting point is 00:48:27 I'm going to say the first person that comes to mind is Siddzee Babit Nudeson. What the heck? She was on Borgen, a great show. Every word you said is fake. Siddzee Babit was? Is that a new show? You said K and UD Sian. No, it, a great show. Everywhere you set his fake. Siddzey, Babbit, what? Is that a new show? You said KNUD Sien.
Starting point is 00:48:48 No, it's an old show. It was a Danish show about the government and it's a fucking great show. Here, how about this? I'm going to go jump to each category. So I have to think of all the people at once. So now, give me a pet that you would like to have. Meaning a specific name of a pet or just a type of a...
Starting point is 00:49:01 Oh, Ronnie. Ronnie from Jersey Shore? a St. Bernard. Okay, give me a vehicle. It could be a wagon. It could be, it could be a train. It could be anything with you drive this thing. You drive this thing. I have to say a train. Okay. Now that you mention it, give me a job. Conductor of course. job. Um, conductor of course. Um, job that I would like to have archaeologist. Sexy archaeologist. Okay, give me a salary amount that you would like to be paid yearly.
Starting point is 00:49:43 Yearly. Okay, yearly, a million dollars. Okay, give me another spouse option for yourself. It's a little spouse, I think. Rosamond Pike. Okay, give me another pet. A falcon. Give me a vehicle. A falcon. A Vespa. Okay, give me a job.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Spy. Okay, give me a job. Spy. Okay, give me a salary. Half a million dollars. Pretty good options. Give me a spous. Good option. Oh, we're going again. Okay, here we go. Is it it's not more than three?
Starting point is 00:50:20 Is it just give me one more? Okay, I put one in myself. Right, but for me. Yeah, I'm able to throw it up. I'm able to find one of these. I know. So it's not just all good stuff. Yeah. Damn. Daniel. Damn, Daniel. With white fans.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Sorry. Um, It's so, um, Kush jumbo. What the, that's a woman. She's on the good fight. Okay, Pat, they've never said her name out loud. It's wild. It's wild. I hope she doesn't have, I hope she have a good 420.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Pat, um, what I got, St. Bernard, I got Falcon. And one that I made up. I'm gonna, and one that you made up. I'm gonna say a Savannah cat. Okay, and then a vehicle. Motorcycle with a sidecar. Okay, and a job. Or he'll just buy novelist. Okay, and a salary.
Starting point is 00:51:27 $1,000. I can hear. Now tell me when to stop. And stop. Okay, I was drawing dashes on a paper. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11. Okay, so talk amongst yourselves while I do the math. Hi, Paul. How are you?
Starting point is 00:51:44 Scott, what was the number? I just said I'm good. 10, 11, okay. So talk amongst yourselves while I do the math. Hi, Paul, how are you? Scott, what was the number I just did? I'm good. 12? 11. 11, okay. Scott, why are you afraid to reveal your celebrity crushes? Cause you might work with them or something? Yeah, I don't want them to know.
Starting point is 00:51:55 I'm horny for them. Who are you not horny for? Well, let's start there. Then you can work with them anytime. I'm horny for everyone I've ever worked with. No, Denzel Washington. Hey, don't get offended. Am I?
Starting point is 00:52:06 I'm horny. Don't get offended. I'm not. That's paraphrasing a little bit. Have I told you the word? I used to not like the word horny. I used to make me cringe. And now I think it's very funny.
Starting point is 00:52:17 It's very funny. Really. And it's kind of cute. Well, we passed the sort of, you know, Austin Powers point where it was like a annoying during that. And now because people go, oh, I'm horny. And they would say it like him, not like that, but like, I'm. I think it's when people talk about hornyness in a very dispassionate way. I find that very fun. I was I hated when people actually are horny. I hate being horny. Yeah, I hate that too, but I sickens me. I hate it when people are horny. I hate being horny. Yeah, I hate that too, but I hate it.
Starting point is 00:52:45 It sickens me. I hate it when people are horny. And any time I feel like someone's horny is like, I like when other people are horny, I don't like when I'm horny. Right, so you like it when someone's horny for you? No, well, no, I don't like that. I like to be horny for other people and things.
Starting point is 00:53:01 So you like them being generally horny away from you at something? They can do it near me, but I don't want it at me. And I don't want to be a real question. Have you ever been in the room while someone is having sex? It's not, not you. This is a real gotcha question.
Starting point is 00:53:17 And you're pimping me because this is something we've talked about off my. Well, I will come and save the day. You know I'm a peeper. Paul, here is your future. You are going future your future future. You're going to live in a house. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Nice. You're into Mary to push jumbo. Yeah. I don't know who that is but congrats. You're going to have a Savannah cat. Yeah. You're going to drive a train. You're going to everywhere.
Starting point is 00:53:42 You're going to work as a subway bagger, which means that you work at subway, but you just put the sandwiches in the bags. They don't trust you with a new responsibility. Is that a for real job? No, but I made it up. And then your salary is 500K. Wow, that's a thing. For subway.
Starting point is 00:53:57 That's a thing. Okay. Let's go back. I've been there a long time. Scott, I'll do yours next. Yeah, do mine next. Okay, so we need a spouses, pets, vehicles, jobs, salaries. Okay. I'll give yours next. Yeah, do mine next. Okay. So we need a spouses pets, vehicles job salary. So give me some spouse.
Starting point is 00:54:07 I'll give you three spouses. Okay. Mary Holland, Aaron Whitehead. Ah. Ah. And. Come on, so do you. I'm interested.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Okay. And then pets. Pat. Yeah. Um, I am going to say, give me a, give me an iguana in there and give me an iguana. Give me an iguana in there. And, uh, give me another Boston Terrier.
Starting point is 00:54:38 That's the one I would really like. And then one more and then give me a, God, I can't imagine having a rabbit. Gross, a rabbit. Okay, vehicle. Vehicle. Give me an Al. Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Uh, CEO of Apple. Speaking of jobs. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh Jim Cash and Rob Hokus. Movie star. And I also would love to be like programmer. Okay, and then salary. I'm going to say $100 million, $101 million, and $102 million. Okay. Okay. And now tell me when to stop. Stop. Okay. And do you guys talk about your selves?
Starting point is 00:55:54 Oh, we get to talk about your selves again. I guess when we started this game, I forgot that I was going to have to, we were going to talk about, we're horny for. Yeah. I know. So you're, Who is Kush? Kush Shombo's on the, you ever see the good fight? It's on CBS all access. No. What am I going to start watching CBS all access? Well, I mean, this shows, I like this show.
Starting point is 00:56:16 Friend of mine recommended it to me. Sure. I got CBS all access for start track discovery. So I wanted to see. Isn't that now on Amazon now? I don't know if it's on Amazon now. Isn't that now on Amazon now? But don't know if it's on Amazon now. Isn't that now on Amazon now?
Starting point is 00:56:26 But I don't know if the new episodes are on. No, the first season. So when I started watching, it wasn't. Yeah, I know. And you got the Picard thing coming up and the Twilight Zone. Picard's coming up and I come over and watch Twilight Zone.
Starting point is 00:56:37 No, because you pooped it. What do you mean I pooped it? You pooped it. You pooped it to CBS All Access. What I said, what am I gonna subscribe, but you can't? Yeah, well see, that's the thing. I'm a CVS all access subscriber,
Starting point is 00:56:50 but you're too good for it. Don't de-horde your CVS all access. I don't hoard it any time. I will. I've got your, oh wait, hold on. Oh wait, more talk. So anyway, can you keep on talking? I got it, got you.
Starting point is 00:57:01 You are going to live in a shack. No. Your spouse is Stephanie feet. Okay. You are going to live in a shack. No. Your spouse is Stephanie Allen. No. No. I put Michael Jackson on both earless. We need every call it. Your pet is a dragon's tail.
Starting point is 00:57:15 I made that up and it's basically just like the back half of a dragon. Dragon's butt. I got terrible ones so far. Your vehicle is a grave on wheels. What? This is what you get for being a smart ass. Your job, oh my God, you really dig a lot of bowens.
Starting point is 00:57:30 Your job is Jim Sweat Wiper. Jesus, what is happening? And your salary is $100 million. Oh, I'll take it all for that. That's good for you, Mr. Money. I was gonna say, since you always think that enough money can buy happiness. I'm probably happy in that scenario.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Okay. Stephanie's a good woman. We'll be happy together. And your shack and your dragon's ass, driving your brave on wheels to your job as a sweat wipe her head. She's brave on wheels. She's a f**ker.
Starting point is 00:57:55 I actually thought that was something you said. I forgot that you did. What is it? Yeah, so don't forget you add in one of your own for each one, but you can put them in different orders just so it kind of like mixes it up. Do you mean a hearse? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:58:06 No, like I mean, I don't know. I drew a grave on my paper, so I still have that thought. Let's do the grave on. Grave on wheels. At first I thought he said grave on wheels. Like that was a thing. No, but he's like you're writing a tombstone.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Hi, I'm Grave on wheels. In the Southland, under store rooms. Okay, so what are my things? Give me a speech. Spouse, Dom Noglison. Oh, he's cool. Cute. Jeremy Piven.
Starting point is 00:58:31 What? Oh, God. Is that for real? I just got to put it out. Add Norton. Jeremy did. And then you can add in somebody. I already did.
Starting point is 00:58:40 Okay. And then my pets, I want a tea cup kit. A tea cup kit. I want a regular kit. And then a multi-poo. I want a lab or doodle. You have one, Kevin, or you want one? Oh, you have one, oh my God.
Starting point is 00:58:59 You have a lab or doodle? Okay, and then make up. Very cool. Then my vehicle. Hold on. You're making mine up. Yeah, I did. My vehicle I would like a Range Rover. And a stretch limo. And a stretch hammer. You driving it or do you have a chauffeur? I mean driven. Whoa. But then the Range Rover, I drive it. Whoa. And then you make it up.
Starting point is 00:59:25 And then- Oh, not that. Did you put the made up one on every, on the same line? No, I mixed it up. You mixed it up. So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So that's- So I wasn't even paying attention to what you were getting. I was just circling. It was fun though. And that's the game. Job.
Starting point is 00:59:47 Job. TV showrunner. Famous standup comedian. How are you coming up with these? Are you just looking at the people in the room? Now look at Kevin? Professional, um, um, professional, um, uh, basketball player. Whoa.
Starting point is 01:00:19 In the WNBA, I hope you mean, I've got realistic goals. I would never expect to get them yet. And then, um, you get one and then salary. 35K. A million dollars. One billion dollars. Whoa, that would be fucking cool. Oh, and then you made it one. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:42 Okay, and then you draw little dashes until I tell you to stop. Stop. Okay. You just speed it up if there are less dashes. So I read the second line of it. No, no, no, no. So then what you do, there's more of a math to it. You go one, two, or you know, how many dashes there are
Starting point is 01:00:56 on the, how many lines are there? And on two. Okay, so you go one, two, cross with the second one, one, two, cross with the second one. Oh, it's crossing on a circle. Oh, it's crossing on a circle. And then you keep going until there's only one in each category and you circle that one
Starting point is 01:01:05 and then you go. Whoa. So this is crazy. I know. This is fucking not swathtaping right here. I know. I'm really excited about my future. I feel pretty hopeful.
Starting point is 01:01:17 A lot of good opportunity. It feels weird to play this game now that our futures are sort of set. You know what I mean? You can't even can happen. I know. You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:01:28 You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:01:36 You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 01:01:44 You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know what I mean? You know Oh, you already have them? I think so. What is the conversation that's definitely that I would need to have in order to like... And I made a big difference. You both go, look, I just need to figure this out. I gotta live somewhere. I, you know, I don't wanna be alone. Right. You're established.
Starting point is 01:01:58 Let's just do this. Maybe they die, or, you know, maybe something happened to them at the same time, or... Or they fell in love with each other. And then you were like, why don't we just do this? Just really stick it in their faces. Okay, all right, you ready? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:12 Your spouse is, of course, Michael Jackson. Wait, what do we, what? Hey, hey, hey, where do we live? Where do they live? Oh, the man. We didn't do that. Oh, go, where M.S.H. is the time to go, boom, boom, boom, boom.
Starting point is 01:02:23 We didn't, you never saw that. I'm not sure. No, M.S.H. is Manchin apartment shopping. Oh, I saw do that. I'll go, I'm a S H at the time you go, boom, boom, boom, boom. We didn't, you never said cross out the A. No, M S H is Manchin apartment check. Oh, I said the A. Cross out the A. Cross out the A. Cross out the A. Cross out the A.
Starting point is 01:02:32 It's a mansion. You're living a mansion, okay? We're gonna have to manage with your other Michael Jackson. You live in a different place. You need a lot of space to go off and do something. I respect that. Yes, you need. Yes, his needs.
Starting point is 01:02:41 I don't know what's happening. Your pet is your, your Michael Jackson liver, the T cup kitten. Oh, drive around and range over. This is good. To your job as a TV showrunner. Oh my God. What do you make?
Starting point is 01:02:53 I annually $1. I don't need money. I have my husband's got my money. Yeah, sure. I volunteer. Enjoy it. I really, what was mother one? That's it. That's it. I wonder if you would be don't know what was mother one. That's it.
Starting point is 01:03:05 That's it. I wonder if you would be happy. Um, I think I would be happy in my situation. I don't know about you. I definitely wouldn't because I would, uh, I think Michael Jackson is a vile person. I just think it's disgusting. Do you want to know the made of ones you missed out on? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:20 Oh, yeah. You guys want to know your pet was not a roach. I got on my shitty one. Um, no. Your pet was not a roach. I got on my shitty one. No, your car was not a bird scooter. Your job was a peepy lady. That's it. That was the peepy lady got a dollar a year. You're so you didn't marry Michael Jackson.
Starting point is 01:03:41 You didn't get to have a draft on a leash. You didn't get to drive a trike. You didn't get, oh, you did get to be the subway bagger, and you didn't get the salary of $3. You're set, you got everything bad, things. But it's separate the salary. Yeah. What was this salary?
Starting point is 01:04:00 Yeah, that's actually perfect for you. You could have gotten $0 a year. Oh man, imagine if I had all that stuff. Is that even a salary? Like, could you agree to that? You would have to, you'd have to rate a one dollar. And we're willing to pay you zero dollars a year. I think three dollars a year and you will be taxed.
Starting point is 01:04:17 So sign here. Well, that was a lot of fun. That was fun. It was fun. I remember playing that when I was a kid and just dreaming about being in a mansion or something like that and then designing the mansion and saying like, oh, it's going to have trampoline. Yeah, like a slide. Scott, are you going to tell us who you horny's are off the mic? I told you I'm horny for. I told mine. Come on. It's
Starting point is 01:04:38 not embarrassing. It's great. Oh, no, it's a little embarrassing. Mine are great. No, mine are great. I'm not embarrassed of mine. Of who you're horny with? I'm not, I'm not embarrassed of who I'm horny with. You're not horny with them, by the way. They have no stake in this. They don't, but they're, they're fully with Rosamond Pike. They're feeling horny right now,
Starting point is 01:04:57 but they don't know why. That's the power of my horny is. All right. Well, guys, that was fun. We had a good time. We did have fun.
