I have the news. We announced last week, we're going to break some news. Matt, I have to thank you. But I said, Jerry, you're never going to regret it. Sometimes you've got to throw in the towel. You just got to throw in the towel. This is like three years of negotiations. I'm fully like, this is going to change the dynamics.

You are too scared to allow yourself to be excited about it. You just let me go like, I'll be all right. I just need to freak out from time to time. All right, here we are, throwbacks in the flesh. Maddie, we're back in person. Good to see you, bro. You didn't think this was going to happen. Every time it happens, I'm always like, it's happening.

Well, we do it more. A couple of things to unpack here. Number one, it wasn't just me coming. My wife, who I love. My wife. My wife. She sometimes, and I have a work trip that's up to her. Fun standard.

She's like, oh, I'll jump on that one. Me and the kids are coming to L.A. with you because she lived out in L.A., obviously, for a bunch of years. So me and the boys came, and I have the news. We announced last week we were going to break some news. Yes, it was big on throwbacks. There's a lot of, there was a lot of news last week in the podcast world. None bigger than what you're about to announce here on throwbacks, which is, what is it?

Partly because of his advice, uh, I got talked into baby number three for the untitled Jerry Bree project is happening due date February. I blame you a lot because you're like, ah, three, three kids isn't that much. It's easy to be. Boy, I'm actually, I'm very, I'm actually very responsible because one, I talked you off a ledge for about the last nine months. I'm not necessarily off, but yeah, sure. I've, I've taken you back from the ledge a little bit.

um because i live this i'm like tracking like a year ahead of you and all this so it's like i had the same worries the same skit the same doubts the same worries the same like i'm hesitant like i love our life now all these things and it's been the greatest thing ever uh it truly is a blessing it's fun it's still everything is the same you just got to keep going but i'm so happy for you guys man i know it was a long tough it's hard it's hard as we get older in our age you know yeah 45 going to be 46 when this kid's born uh and in honor You're going to be... That's what I'm saying.

You're going to be like almost like... You're going to be like 60 when your kid's like a freshman in high school, bro. Yeah, think about... I'll be like 57. Think about when... Even if it's like a little girl, when that little girl grows up to go to like prom, right? She'll be like 15. And it's going to be like, hey, someone go wheeled dad out.

They're going to have to come get me. That's how I feel sometimes. You're still young. I'm like, ah. Dude, I'm three years younger. Have her back before nine. I'm not going to scare nobody. Ages is just ages. Ages is a number, man. It's just, it's about how you feel.

It is a number. But I also thought, being that my wife is here, and in honor of the good news, I think we have to hash something out because due dates in February. There's something else that happens in February. We usually have a, we had a big presence there last week, the Super Bowl. So, which brings up a great debate of even like players in the past. I know we were talking about Van Jefferson, like famously's baby was born. The confetti came down. I'm out. Obviously not the same circumstances, but. Well, like, at what point, at what point do you, at what point if the baby's not, like, at what point are you allowed to leave to go to the Super Bowl to work? Well, we're going to ask you.

And look, she's pretty cool, but I figured, look, the Super Bowl is important for us. We had a good footprint, fanatics party last year. I think throwbacks needs to be there. This is a business now. What's more important the Super Bowl throwbacks or leaving your newborn child and your wife, like a day or two after your baby's born. See, this is where my mind goes, though. This is the family business right now.

I think you got to do it. I think you got it. If the babies before the Super Bowl, you got to go. Well, here's some fun stuff to throw out on social. And again, at throwback show on all the social platforms. So guys, girls out there, if you had to be at the Super Bowl for some work event, whatever it is, how comfortable are you leaving after your baby's born is question number one? And then number two, if you had to call in a guest host last minute,

like if you're going to be live on the fanatics right carpet again or at athletes first, whatever we're going to be doing at the Super Bowl, and my little baby is not born yet, you got to get a guest host, bro. Means you need a backup, a backup QB who could come in and light it up. As a quarterback, I don't worry about shit that hasn't happened seven months from now, okay? I'm a day-to-day week-to-week guy. As a paranoid Italian New Yorker,

I think about anything that could happen six months from now that probably won't. That's what I'm thinking about. We need to calm you down. We need to get you some supplements or something to take the edge off. Have you segueing out of that, have you started to get your fantasy football nerves yet? Like what, when does liner, because I know you're nine weeks. Oh, I've done 50 mock drafts. You're mocking right now?

How are they anything surprising? Well, the only problem is I know my draft order on my big league already because we did a, we did a full. thing out of a hat a couple weeks ago that draft is in a six so you're middle 12 or 10 10 all right I like 10 I'm in a 12 man league too or 12 team league um I'm six and this is our big this is our big league so this is the one I care about the most um so I've done every mock picking sixth and it comes out to a lot of the same type of players you're going to get this this draft is pretty these guys are pretty legit everyone drafts pretty to the cuff like

there's a couple of reaches every once in a while but everyone drafts pretty like pretty like on top of like best available or like kind of their strategy so there's no like holy shit why did you like there's one or two so like I kind of know where I'm going to go at six I've been telling my partner I'm like

we're going to get we're going to get either like Jemir Gibbs who's going for or we're going to get Cid Lamb or we're going to get like a Justin Jefferson because the first three have been like Bajon, Barclay, and Jamar Chase. And then anything after that, it's kind of like those three or four players. Like, Derek, they're kind of been kind of high.

So, like, we're going to get one of the top receivers or we'll get, like, a Jamir Gibbs. That's what we want. So, like, I'm kind of just playing it off of basically. So I've done probably 50 of those, dude. And I'm in four other leagues, too, so we won't even go there. Well, no, we're going to, I think it's time we have the fantasy conversation because I, we talked about it last year on the show. Like, I wanted to get away from it.

a little bit because I live in a betting state and I enjoy betting more than fantasy at this point because it's just a little more control but I can't sell you on an auction draft right you're just like snake draft like what is it if some people get so I was like that for years like oh oxen draft I don't want to do that it's so much better I just I don't know if it ain't broke don't fix it dude I'm in five leagues like I don't want to

I don't need a six league you still get the enjoyment out of it but you're a fantasy hater I love I love I only draft in person on one all the other ones are just online like whatever but we have group chats on on all of them I still I still get I still get like a high off my fantasy drafts

I went into a new league with some writer friends, some Hollywood types, right? Good group chat, said yes to the draft time, didn't really pay attention to when it wasn't. It was exactly when my flight was. yeah so i joined this new league i talked a bunch of trash and now i can't be at the draft you and my emergency contact matt can you draft for me and you were like uh no i said no because you don't want me to draft an auction league for you because i wouldn't know what to do well all i know i could

have said yeah and then butch botched the whole thing all i know is i did find someone who i went through my emergency contact list of people i would want to draft fantasy for me knowing I was going to be on a plane, not trusting the Wi-Fi. Everyone said no. My nephew had football camp. My best friend said, no, I don't want to do that. Everyone said no. And I got connected with someone that I've never met before.

A buddy of mine's colleague and was like, he'll draft for you. This guy knows what he's doing. We had four meetings. And you know what I summed up fantasy to? Let me just tell you. It was all, okay, these are like the five guys I like. These are the five guys I'm okay with. And here are the five guys, please, by any means necessary.

Do not draft. Please. And then that was it. I went on the flight with my kids, traveling with four kids. Isn't it? Two kids is an adventure. Yes, you just went from four to three to two. Because that's, I have, I'm like the Brady bunch now.

And I have to say, it was pretty enjoyable to be on a flight with good Wi-Fi. He was drafting for me, but I was on. You were on. We were chatting every pick out. And I want to unveil my team to you. Let me hear it. All right, auction 10 team. Ready?

Okay. Jordan Love and Kyler. Oof, okay. Oof? Oof. That's fine. You obviously didn't spend a ton of money on your quarterback. Chase Brown.

I think Chase Brown's legit. All right. We whiffed a little bit on running back too, okay? We did not get the guy that we wanted. So running back two might be Tyrone Tracy on the Giants. Where I think we won. Who were you going after? There was some name.

We were going to try to sneak Kyron Williams, but he went for a big number. That's the thing with auction. Like, some of these guys go for giant numbers. But then we went, Malik Neighbors. Yeah. And then we went, I'm on. You got two PPR machines. This is why I wanted to pitch you.

This is my real all-time adventure. I'm a firm believer that two of the offensive rookies in every draft, regardless of what round, two of them are going to kind of pop. I drafted all of them. Not the big, I didn't draft Genti. Like, I'm saying, I went with the reach, like, Bucca, am I saying that right? Ameca, Bucca, yeah. You're saying it right?

Yeah, Beast. I got Tet. I got, I got a... I mean, Tet was a top 10 pick, but yeah. Okay, but he could easily... Yeah, but he's in Carolina. He was in Marvin Harrison last year. He's in Carolina.

You know, I got golden. I got golden. So I basically have four rookies. I know two of them have got to pop. Two of them have to pop. Well, T-Mack, as you call him, not Tet. T-Mack. Is that the...

He goes, yeah, McName. He doesn't like Tet as he said that. I'm not sure Ted is even a nickname. I think you just gave that to him, but he goes, but T-Macky's, by the way. People have been calling him. He's an Orange County kid. So I didn't mean to offend him. He'll be the number one there off the get-go.

So that one has the most upside, I think, for sure. And then Abuka, I love anybody in the Bucks team just because Baker throws a shit all over the feet. Mike Evans is still doing his thing, but, like, Godwin's out for, I got Godwin's hurt, I think, for a bit. But like Abuka will be number... He might be number two, right? He's going to be number two to start of the season. I really wish that with fantasy

and I still have a soft spot for it a little bit, but I just really miss the in-person stuff, man. And I know it's so easy to draft on your phone and your computer, but like, to me, that the camaraderie was like half the battle. Wasn't it? I used to watch games against the dude I was...

Also, head-to-head? Why are we still doing head-to-head? I don't get home-field advantage. Why are we still doing... Now, I've been doing it. doing this shit for 30 years. Why are we still doing head to head? What? How often? I have the second most points in the league and I missed the playoffs because I lost to the highest points for four weeks in a row. You go by based on points or no I don't we do head to head but I'm like

wow I have a really tough schedule this year. I don't know I just think it's I loved it in the beginning I think the head to head stuff is ridiculous. You just got to appreciate it for what it is man. It's just, it's just fantasy football. It's fun. Keeps you in tune with the game. I can't sway you into an auction league at least. No, no, it's not that I don't like it. It's just I've never done it. So I didn't want to draft for you. But yeah, I have buddies that ask me all the time. I'm just like, man, I'm already in five leagues. Like, I can't have no time to do anything else.

Now, are you a draft or that like you'll take one guy in all five teams? Or do you find yourself in that awesome situation where I like, all right, I need gentie here, but he's also gonna kill me here i'm not that i'm more i i am a big i am a big like wherever like the players fall to me where i'm at i kind of like like i best on the board kind of yeah like obviously i always like i always target like i love getting josh allen dude like he's the number one guy but like if he if he's there at the end of a second round on a turn like i would get him late second round or like early third or like i love lamar too i've been a big so like you like having one in the top there's guy no but i've also but then like we have also but then like we

had Jaden Daniels last year, no one knew, but I was like, I told my partner, you knew. Well, we had, we had, who did we have? Maybe Herbert, who's been, you know, up and down. Better than Joe Burrow. But then we were like, we got Jane Daniels. I think, dude, I think this guy we might start by like week five. Like, he's going to be a star. And sure not, we had him. And we wrote him for a long time. But, yeah, I mean, I think I'm just more of like, I'll spread it out, but it depends on where I pick. If I pick in the same spot, I mean, yeah, like, There's always guys. There's always two or three that, like, man, I got, like, George Kittle in three leagues.

Or, like, Evan Ingram, I love. Like, he's a late round, 10th round pick who, like, can't still get you 80 catches. So, like, in all my mocks, I've been doing other ones, too. It's like, I'm kind of targeting, I kind of get the same type of guys. You know what I mean? My boy, Charlie O'Connell, Season 2, The Bachelor, bro. Yeah. He is one of the best drafters back in the day because his whole thing was he assumed he, we could not draft

till after Madden came out. And then he would grind Madden for five days. And he'd write down all the guys with all. He was like Al Davis. He drafted Jamal Charles three years in a row because he was 99 overall speed. Darren McFadden. He took all the Madden 99 overall speed dudes running back away. And that's who he drafted.

By the way, he won like that. It was like Chris Johnson, Jamal Charles. He had all the speedsters. Well, those guys were fantasy just. They were, but he was taking them early when people typical, like they hadn't popped. It wasn't a 2,000-yard season. Name a random fantasy player. Yeah.

Like, in the last 10 years, not recent, like 10, 15 years, that won you fantasy league. Yep. Oh, God, he's so random. I don't even know if I could think of it. Believe it or not, it was a giant's third string running back who became the starter at the end. What was his name? It's going to take me a second. He 100% won me to lead.

One for me. David Johnson. Remember David Johnson? Of course I remember David Johnson. It was like two years of like. Because that's when I started playing. I think I was like, he won me like a league outright. Do you want to know my worst, I remember my worst fantasy start of all time? I'm a big, like, I used to be anyway, like, you don't know about this guy.

I was playing Charlie O'Connell in a championship game 10, 15 years ago. And Arian Foster hadn't popped yet. No, no, he was no one. I played with him. He was a beast. I think he had, I think he finally got like 10 carries in a game the week or two. before and he had like 10 for like 80 and a touchdown

I start he didn't play one carry in the in the fantasy Super Bowl one carry and then next year he went on to become Aryan Foster like first round pick you know who did work for me too Travis Henry did some work for me believe it or not

If you said Wayne, I would just say Galman. He won me a fantasy league. And that's what I mean about fantasy and why it's what they goes. You will, if you want to win your league by week 10, you'll have to find Wayne Galman. That's the beauty of the waiver wire. You just find the pickups. When did we lose trading, though? Meaning like, when did it become like, hey...

Yeah, the trading is bullshit. I want your best running back and here. Here's my third string running back and my second or third best receiver that you're going to try to convince me is on the come up. I also, I do all those trades like are these fair trades, right? You do it in like an evaluator thing. I'm just more like how is it going to benefit an asshole in my league, which is not the way to do it, but that's kind of what I do. So the trades in my big league, we don't even trade. Like we try, but it's like it gets vetoed all the time.

ultimately too, you said something to me like by year two when we started talking about this where you were like, I just don't feel done. I know. You said I just don't feel done. like having babies and I at first didn't understand

what that meant. I'm like, what do you mean? We are done. And that and you kind of turned you turned our six year old against me a little bit. He would look at me, Jacob would go like, Dad, come on, dad. One more. He would just hear us talk about it though. I didn't really.

I think it's a great question in like, in all seriousness because I remember Josie and I's negotiation was about a year and a half. So it was a long time. It was like, and quite honestly, and I was like a hard no. And I was like, and it felt selfish, but for my reasons, it wasn't selfish, but it was still like, I just like, no, we're good, we're happy.

We're in a great spot. All the positive things, right? Like, we're working, all these things. And then she did say that. She was like, and I think she broke down and she goes, you won't ever experience this or feel this. But as a woman and as a mother, I feel it internally that I'm meant to have another child. And when she, to your point, when she said that, I was like, I actually got goosebumps. I'm like, I'm like.

damn like how could you say like one i'm in my mind i always knew we're going to have another because i'm like i'm not going to do my wife will she'll regret it and she'll hold that against me and i'll feel guilty the rest of my life and it was that it was that phrase and that what she said i was like you're right i won't know but i knew how much it meant to her and it was just a little bit of me like in our selfish world of like hey we get to do this stuff we're so just like you guys you're a good system now we're a good but that was it and jerry had said you kind of had said that too. So, like, what does that mean? Did you guys do this thing where whenever you back, like, whenever she would back off,

then you would kind of be like, well, maybe we should because that's what Jerry does to me. I would put the toe back in the water. I would not hear about, dude, I was out. I would hear about baby number three for like two weeks. I would back off. And then all of a sudden he'd be like, I like, I like this name. And I don't know why I did that to you. That was kind of messed up. But I guess maybe deep down, I was, I didn't want it to go away either. You were too scared to allow yourself to be excited about it like you didn't want to get there and rightfully so like you never know what's going to happen you know like you could try you can not get pregnant things happen and we were very lucky but you like that's just how you are in general what i will

what is it not to put you on the spot like what does it mean like as a woman to do that genuinely like because it really hit me like it's like it just you feel it in your bones in your body you say you can't yeah like i'm like it's not like it's not like I want a vacation or like a bag or something like this is this is a deeper desire and I think at any point a woman has to grieve that whether she's going to have kids or not have kids right like you grieve that part of your life being over um but I just wasn't ready to do it I mean I could have got myself there if he like truly truly if I really thought it was going to like blow up our marriage or like I could have got myself there he's like what he's like you could have told me that around

And a half months ago, three months ago. We had the same thing. I think she would have got to it too, but it was just like, I just couldn't do that. No, in the end for me, it was also like I, after all, the fear of it goes away. It's like, it is nice to have a big crew, right? To be like this big traveling circus kind of. And then honestly, at the end of it, like I looked at our kids and our oldest was like all about. I'm like, you know what?

When I'm long gone, there will be three of them. together and I guess hopefully they all get along and they're they're a tight-knit you know sibling group and I feel like in the end when my time comes down the road I'll feel a little bit better by at least there's there's three of them four and you know it's gonna be I think that was a hard part we were talking about it's like because I was the same way I was like you're so caught up in the now in the moment like now is great Renee but Josie would always be like but think about how special it would be when our kids are older and we have grandkids and there's just big family where like christmases and all of these things and i'm like i don't really want to think

about 20 years from now you know what i mean but like it does it like you have to kind of sit back and like and again well jerry jerry's go to is like i'm gonna be 95 well i do i do support that thank you support that i'm 45 years old when the baby's born i will be 46 you are going to be the old ass dad and pick up no you were by the way there's women having babies at this age come on no i know And I know I have to carry the child or birth the child, but like 45, 46. There's pros and constant. You've lived a lot of life. Like, you have a lot to offer now.

Not that you wouldn't have when you were younger, but. You know what she did too, like two things that were sort of sneaky? I don't know if Josie does this. And those of you listening, I don't know if in your relationship, your wife or your husband does this. Like, I would wake up at my normal time and there would be like four or five middle of the night DMs on Instagram that she sends me forwarded that are all these couples that have like five kids. And this is a, look at our family. We just like let it go.

And all this like on the fence about having the third, let us tell you, greatest decision we ever made in all these Instagram clips. Oh yeah. But then I would talk to a few parents of three. Most of them were like, hey, look, the third kid just kind of fits in and it's all good.

But every now and then, there's the one that's like, yo, three is no joke. And they had like a look of terror in their eyes. So that would always snap me back. I think that the, the, we have a six-month-old dog. and our boys, and we have an older son, so we have four technically, but the three, it's

been easy because she's very easy. You guys got, we got a chance to, you guys got a chance to meet her. She's been easy. And we have always been, credit Josie, a roll, a roll with the punches, go, go, go, go. You guys do have that, but the liners have that line. By the way, we love home time. We love, we love that. But like, we, there's never like a, let's not, like, let's just do, dude, the boys are going to roll, the daughter's going to roll, and we're going to make it work. And Josie's a little bit like, seriously? Oh, no. I go, babe, I go, babe, it's like, he went to Scotland to play golf. I will say, I went to Scotland. He went to sit, like, the home, the birthplace of golf. And I was like, he went. I asked Jerry, I'm like, should I go? He goes, of course you go.

I'm like, I asked Josie, Josie was like, this is, she's great. She's like, are you kidding me? You have to go. Like, you can't miss an opportunity like that. Jerry gets so many golf invites. I know he does. Is that my computer? Like, it makes my head spin.

Like, he's way more than me. When he's like, when he, I know when he's about to tell me about a tournament that he got invited. How does it go? How does it go? So, what's golf mood? Yeah, I need to talk to you about something. I'm like, I make it sound important. Where and when are you golfing?

Or like, more importantly, where? Because he gets invited to like the craziest places. Yeah, but that's amazing. It's amazing because I'll tag along for some of it. So through this podcast, I got Matt into golf and you got me to have a third baby. I feel like you won that trade in a big way. For sure. Real quick.

Crazy golf. I got invited to Patrick Mahomes thing. Paddy Mahomes. When was that May? The baby was like eight weeks old. Baby and Josie came. This is talk about going just, no, no, no, listen. It was talk about like just, and it's an easy flight for us.

Going with the flow. We got a nanny there that had babysat her best friend. So we had this. We went out that night with a nine week old. Now, granted, we ended up actually coming home pretty early because we were just over it. But like we did the very nice dinner. We went out, had some drinks like the bar, whatever. And then, and we left, the baby, I don't know, she might get mad at it.

No, it was, but just going with the flow, the baby was nine weeks old. Is that really, like, this is a little off-topic sports nerd for a second, though. When you quarterbacks get together, is it like a club, like the quarterback club, like, hey, because you know what that's a lot, like. It's pretty much. Like you and my homes, it's almost like an unspoken, like. I never even met my homes. Right. That's what I mean.

It's like, instant. There's just a respect of. Could you kind of have that with actors? Like, you might not know the person personally. Oh, we do the same thing, you know? There's for sure. Like when you're in the same room, it's like you can go up to anyone and be like, older, younger, for the most part.

Some of the younger kids don't obviously as you get older, but like all the get out of here, oh man, don't tell me nothing. It's great. And it's like, you just hang. Like, what's up? Oh, yeah. Like, you know, no, okay. This is a big part.

Golf negotiations. Yeah. Where are we on these? How are we feeling about the future of golf? Have I, how was my summer of golf been to this point? in your opinion. Like, have I abused our negotiation privileges? No, you've actually been pretty mild.

Yeah. I would say you golfed more last summer. Well, just no. In spite of like our negotiations. There's a storm a coming. Oh, I know. There's a storm. There's a storm.

There's a golf storm coming. Listen, this is important because all the guys listening. They need advice because we talk about this whole time. Like, what do you tell your wife and you need to go golf? I know it's such a silly thing to, and I wasn't basing like, oh, should we have this third baby on can I golf or not? Because that's the most selfish thing in the world. A little bit, a little bit of part of a little. But, like, I remember when our first kid was born,

they, like, my friends, when Jacob was born, I was just getting back in the golf, they're like, oh, over under three and a half rounds of golf the summer. I'm like, wait, I'm only going to play golf three times a summer that'll never happen. And I think I played like five, but it definitely is. Our first baby, and we lived in, we lived in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. When you can only play six months a year, that's terrible.

Golf in, like, Brooklyn is a lot harder, though, than Ohio. To the suburbs. Yeah. I'm not a huge, like, it's a six-hour day. Well, that's it. And he'll go to courses that are like an hour and a half away. I'm like, do you have to add three hours on to your already seven-hour day? Like, where am I going for nine hours?

Tell that about golf mood. Golf mood is. I mean, apparently it's pretty bad. No, no, no. Listen to this. Oh, your golf mood. No, his golf mood. What is life like for you?

Oh, yeah. I wake up. There's, like, breakfast's ready. The kitchen's cleaned. Like, he is. Boys are you, honey. What are you doing today? Is there anything can help you with before I leave?

Although, you know what? Your golf game must be really bad right now. It is terrible. The golf mood has changed the last few times you've gotten golfing. My golf game is in shambles right now. You know what? I know that because your golf mood has not been nearly what it usually is. All right.

Are you ready? This is really why you wanted to have you on here because this does relate to the show. It affects Matt, it affects Eddie, it affects Adam, Rich, Andrew. It affects a lot of people, including you. What's up? It arguably the biggest way. Okay. So we have our due date, February 4th, and obviously, like, third.

Not that it matters, but yeah. Clearly it does. And obviously the big thing is you just want a happy, healthy baby, you, everyone. Like, that's all that matters. So assuming that's going to happen. Mm-hmm. The Super Bowl this year is what, February 9th, I believe, is the Sunday. Last year we did our big fanatics, red carpet live show.

Where is this year? We'll get to that as far from you. This year, and we have a new sponsor about to come on, who I think is going to want to be a big part of our Super Bowl show that we're going to do. Keep going, Jerry. He got this. Spit it out. Do date February 3rd. I technically, if we were not having a baby, I need to be in Santa Clara. Santa Clara is in just outside of San Francisco. Not easy to get to.

When is it? February 9th. February 9th. Oh. I need to be, I would. Which means the show is like the night of the 7th. Oh my gosh. So it would be fly in the 7th.

So I'd be like. Super Bowl is the 8th. So no, no. Fly in the 6th. Super Bowl Sunday's the 8th. So fly in the 6th. Show the 7th. Fly right home.

Yeah. Assuming you are on time, what it to you is the cutoff of like, obviously if you don't have the baby by like February 3rd or 4th. I mean, if I have the baby. How much, yeah, like what's the timeline we're thinking here? Because this happens with players all the time. Sure. Just let her answer.

I'm nervous, man. I know you're nervous. You're talking too much. Let me think. I talk a lot when I get nervous, Eddie. I mean, I would like to make it work for you. Right. But also knowing that this is a big moment for our family.

and I don't want to push a baby out and then like you're on a plane. I agree. I agree. So like. But you, if you go in, do your stuff,

get out, we can probably make it happen, but you do know some women go later. Well, what happens? Okay. But I actually, this is on your side.

I've gone early with both the boys. He's just beating around the bush way too much. If the baby was born. There we go. Yeah. You know what? It would be so much better if he approached things this way. Yeah.

Like he talks. too much. He does. He does this with our kids. Like me, like, I'm like, just get to it. If the baby was born, say, Friday morning, maybe 3 a.m. Which is the, okay. And he, he has, we have big shows Saturday. So he has to be on a flight, maybe a red eye Friday night. So that's a day. Is that does, he just puts you on the spot. He likes to put people on the spot. But that, but that, to me, before you came, I was like, that's obviously the very last you could even get out. Because if it's after, you just can't go. But the baby. here, all your family's there.

If I, if all my family is there and I feel comfortable with how the boy, I'm honestly more worried about, like, the boys being taken care of than myself and the baby. Well, you, but, yeah, but. Yeah, but you got family, you can make it happen. We've got six months. He's nervous because we will have to get a guest host in there. By the way, I'm not nervous because I know it's all going to work out. Right.

It's all going to work out. The guest host could be fun. He won't. I just kidding. Well, we're going to start auditioning guest hosts. Friday morning, dude. I got you. I got you that extra day.

I don't think Friday morning. I don't think that's. Friday would be tough. I might have to step in. I think you'll make it. I think you'll make it. I think so, too. By the way, amazing.

You'll be tired. You'll be tired. If I have the baby overnight, you're going to be a little tired. What if I was playing in the Super Bowl? ball and you hadn't had the baby yet, you would just be like, go play in the Super Bowl, right? Yeah, I mean, this, no, like, no offense, baby, it's our third baby. I'm pretty comfortable birthing. She would let me play in the Super Bowl.

You would play, so if you were still active playing quarterback and you were having, like, your baby girl now, and it was Saturday before the Super Bowl and your wife did not go into labor yet, and you're just waiting, you're going to the game. I mean, has that, like, are there any, like, Cool stories if that's happened. I think I've heard that. Regular season games or whatever. Guys have like finished games and literally gone like right to the airport.

Like ran to the hospital. Yeah. Or well, sometimes they're on the road so they're not where their wife is. I played with a teammate who her, his wife was giving birth during the game and in Arizona. And he just went straight to the hospital. So he missed it.

But he was there. Super Bowl is like. Well, I did want to publicly take this opportunity to say I was terrified. I was scared. I was unsure, a lot of positivity from you, positivity from you, and we made the decision as a family. And I have to say, I am very excited. And I'm happy that, you know, I know it's going to be hard.

If you give me the room to do my freak out thing, we're like, ugh, like, if you just let me go like, I'll be all right. I'll be all right. I just need to freak out from time to time. Yeah, look, I'm glad you're coming into terms with it. I am. No, I'm jacked up.

We are probably going to have another third crazy boy. Like, just no. This is her hedging and trying to put out into the girl vibes out into the, right? And he's got three too. So, uh, like, I got, I got 50, 50 shot. You're even wearing a pink necklace thing. We got, I got girl vibes all over this. 50, 50 shot.

So I publicly will say I was on the fence, but I'm so happy now. And I'm so ready to go. And if it is a girl, I am just going to enter training because I feel like I need to be more physically threatening to all the idiots that are out there. So I might go on steroids, maybe. Would you care if I went on HDH steroids? Just get jacked up. Another boy, I'll just go for another one.

We'll be that family that has like five boys. If it's a girl, I want to be like jacked up. So when they see me, because Matt, you know, he got a little easy. He's like six, five. I feel like at my size, I just need to jack up. So if anyone sees me, they probably think I do jiu-jitsu or I'm like a UFC fighter. You could get to college for our ears. In my marriage, I'm the non-confrontational one.

And my wife would be like that. Josie would be right up there. She's like, can you, I'm like, if I had to, she's like, would you even, I'm like, of course I would do something. Of course he would. But, like, I don't like anything fighting like no, like, hey, none of that. I feel like your little girl is going to be the most well-protected little girl in the South. But she's got three older brothers of various ages. But at times she's like eight, she'll have a 26-year-old brother.

She'll have like a 12-year-old brother and a 10-year-old. It's just, I dare you to talk trash to your little girl. It's over for you. It's a rap. So, congratulations. Honey, I love you. So, so excited for you guys. We reunited on the pod.

and they have looked freaking phenomenal. And Jackson Dart looks phenomenal. I think what it is is you got, you got Russell Wilson, who's... throws an 80-yard moonball in there. You're going to have good quarterback play, which unfortunately you haven't had. had in the last however since Eli and yeah and in the last few years at you i don't even really

count yeah so like you just there's going to be a consistency of that position and then you have the future and the future is the kids a stud and with the right coaching that all all all all things point to them going this way instead of kind of just like what are we doing so does this matter though as a Giants fan, right? Again, like, I'm realistic and I know, first of all, they're in a horrendous division to be good in. Like, the Eagles are great. Commanders are now great. I think the Cowboys are going to be better Dax there. So they haven't beat the Cowboys in like 12 years. It's been so depressing. And the offense, there's never been big plays. There's not players to get excited about. And now there finally is, can you ride off the vibes even? of the preseason. Like, the skill may ultimately come back around. They may win five or six games, but I feel like these vibes could propel you,

at least to a good start. Just because you have a more talented team. I mean, you got to remember in the NFL, it's, there's so much parity, man. Every team is really good, right? Even, even like your worst team is still competitive and damn near every game. Maybe you win, but you lose by a couple touchdowns,

which in the NFL is a blowout, kind of. But like, yeah. like everyone is paid everyone's professional everyone's very good so um just because on paper you're more talented or like philly i mean phil's a very good team doesn't necessarily mean or equate to wins so something to your point if you have you have improvement in the most important positions um you have great leadership in the locker room or you have guys and again i we're speculating who knows um and then you have a young star in jackson dart that everyone's just fired up about there's just there there there's a pulse in the in the locker room and in the building that's

probably different from the past and what you're saying is does that carry you yeah sure does carry you it's like in anything it's like it's momentum it's uh it's energy it gets guys going a little bit more they want to come to work then all of a sudden you start the season i mean look the giants could be the commanders anytime the giants can beat the cowboys like like it's so it's they're it's like this man like when you're you just go out there and play good football so like and then all of a sudden you start winning some of those games, then you start to really believe. So, like, yeah, absolutely.

Now, it is preseason. You can't put a ton of stock into it. I think for the Giants, you're excited that you have a star in the future. And it looks fun. And it looks fun. You have a star at Ryder Receiver from last year, Malik Neighbors, who I think, I hasn't even played really as preseason writer.

He's been hurt a little bit, but he's a star. Russ, Russ is solid. It was a great deep, but we haven't had a deep ball since. Yeah, you're just funny. And imagine, like, you're scoring 7 to 10 points more a game. 14 points more game probably is what good quarterback play leads to. Dude, that's 9 and 8 to 11 and 5. Well, you know what I mean?

Here's something else that I don't know again, because it's all professional athletes. But again, bringing it back to the acting world. I've been a part of some cast, whether it's entourage or even like indie stuff where the vibes are high. everybody wants to be there everyone kind of likes each other seems like the Giants do but then you start also

here because like look if I'm not in the scene I don't really know what went on but then you'll show up to work the next day and be like oh dude badge did this scene you actually had the whole crew crying that's how good this scene was and then you start to go all right well shit

I better my scenes coming up I better kill it like you start riding off not competitive like I want to be better than you but I Whoa, Badge just did that. I better match it with a... I better just try just as hard because that word starts to get around

Does that mean Daible is maybe way better as a coach than, because right now they're like almost trying to get him out. Like, Daible's the problem. Giants have been bad for this is it. If he doesn't win the series out. By the way, he just bought himself.

If Jackson Dart plays this year, you can like have some growing pains, but like if he looks great, competitive, we're on to something. Like, let's keep him together. And especially when you draft the first round draft pick. But, I mean, he's also 37. Like, I mean, I think he just goes out there, a job he'll play all year the best thing jack's gonna do is just sit this year and learn like maybe play some maybe get some meaningful snaps here and there but like sit and learn because you have

two guys by the way if they keep three but they keep jamis they got two dudes who play a lot of football in the NFL really like jamis would be a great guy to learn from as well you know so is malique neighbors the number two receiver and fantasy football if james winston starts taking snaps because look what he did with jerry judy last jerry judey had like 400 yards and two games. Could be a lot of interceptions of two. Right, but I feel like neighbors might have a few, like 12 catches for 2.10. Neighbors are going to have a big year.

I mean, look what he had last year. He had over 100 catches last year with subpar. I'm sorry, I'm buying the vibes. I'm buying the aura. We should get out of here now, huh, buddy?
