Starting point is 00:00:56 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not like right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I say hi from across the street. Are you promoting a book? Yeah, it's cool. Oh cool. And my book is out now. The memoir, it's pretty, pretty good.
Starting point is 00:01:08 It's doing well on Amazon. You don't age at all. Thank you, man. I'm just trying to hold it together. No, don't worry, man. And then we get far more years, no. Yeah. And then we could talk about the book.
Starting point is 00:01:20 We talk about comedy. We could talk about comedy. I got a movie coming out with a full of comedians called Backians. Yeah, I know with Kevin. Yeah, yeah, Tiff Yeah, JB Gary. We was acting a fool phase on so oh my god. What a great cast. Yeah, it's just so fun Yeah, it was like we wasn't even working bro. Where was it out? What do you get you lost Vegas? Oh? God how long come on you different months? We're different month. Oh my God. Oh my God. How long? Come on. You there for a month. We're there for a month. Oh my it was so fun, though, because you know, after some days you off, we're in Vegas on the Tuesday, Wednesday, let's turn up. Yeah, yeah. You get drunk?
Starting point is 00:01:55 Puguito. Puguito drunk. Yeah. A little bit. You let lose money gambling. Do you gamble? No, I'm not a big gambler. Yeah, I didn't lose much money. I gambled a little bit. We went to't lose much money. I gamble a little bit. We went to Topgolf a lot. What's that? Topgolf, you know, you can... It's so much fun.
Starting point is 00:02:10 But I'm not a golfer, but Topgolf is dope. It's like a bar with golf clubs. Oh, really? Like, only white boys can do this, because... It's a white guy. It's a white guy thing. Black guys and golf clubs and liquor don't go together. It's a recipe for TMZ.
Starting point is 00:02:25 You feel me? Yeah. Yeah. Would you consider Gary Owen Black or Wyatt? Yeah, I think he's Black. Yeah, I think so too. Black, black, black, black, black, black, black and heart and spirit.
Starting point is 00:02:36 Yeah. Because I ain't got with Gary, and nobody white knows who he is. Yeah. I know people who like Gary. I know what he wants. And they'd be like, and you are like Gary. I know when he was in the old foods and maybe like and you are. Yeah, I know when he was in the Navy. Oh, you know, oh, you know, in the 90s.
Starting point is 00:02:51 No way you were in the Navy as well. No. No, he was in the Navy and he was doing open mics back in the 90s and I was an open micer and that's how I met him in San Diego. Right. And the interesting thing about that story, we should be, we should be doing. We are shooting. Are we already? Yeah, you want to put your head down?
Starting point is 00:03:06 Oh, yeah, we are, we're going to keep all this. Okay, cool. So the interesting story about that was that there's a David Arnold tie in with Navy. Somehow. It will hold on. I love that man so much. Yes, sir. And he passed.
Starting point is 00:03:22 And what a great guy. Out of nowhere. Out of nowhere. Out of nowhere. Like on a Wednesday. Oh my God. He did a set at the laugh, actor. He was having a great week too. And this goes to show you how we have to appreciate our lives, right?
Starting point is 00:03:34 So Dave, so I have a podcast as well. I'm top billing and he was promoting his special. Yeah. And he had called me about a stylist. He was like, you, be man, you are always dressed fly. I got to be nice. I'm doing all kinds of promotions and shit. I want to make sure I'm right. I said, listen, this is what you do. You call Okira and make sure she's going to die. You went on the right flavor. And you know, I'm saying or whatever.
Starting point is 00:03:57 So he was like, I, and I'll do your podcast as soon as I get back. Click. So I go on Instagram. I see that he had got a car You got nice little car and stuff or whatever and I think his show got picked up or something Yeah, so it was you know as a comic you when we get a show picked up or you get a special and you're just rolling You're like man finally Jesus Jesus, you know what I'm saying? Finally and I'm I'm rooting for him in such a great way and then out of nowhere I was doing a table read and I got like the weirdest texts and I was just like I'm not Lee and I'm rooting for him in such a great way. And then out of nowhere, I was doing a tabooree and I got like the weirdest texts and I was just like, I'm not opening this right now
Starting point is 00:04:30 because I got to do this tabooree and I got to stay in a character and I was like, oh man. And it's just like, we lost so many comedians, man. Like Bob Saggett. Fucking devastating. I mean, these are guys that I knew really personally, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:04:45 Yeah. You know, since I've been doing this now, what, 28 years, I guess, I've known about, I wanna say, roughly over 12 people that I really knew had their phone number. Yeah. We would like either text, talk that shit,
Starting point is 00:05:02 see each other, you know, in the airport, you know, because we're like a fraternity. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Like, comedians never really have beef. Like comedians like, man, you're fucking dope. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This guy, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:05:14 I can't start as the opposite of his existence. Yes, he's sitting there again. Well, Bobby got beef with us. Well, you're like, how? Where were we? Everybody's about to be. You've never had beef with anybody. No, I haven't.
Starting point is 00:05:23 In comedy. Wow. Whoa. I just only had a situation with somebody who was trying to steal my joke. Like, they were trying to remix it so crazy you could tell. Yeah. Well, that's beef.
Starting point is 00:05:33 Yeah, but it wasn't like, I just like when I addressed it, it just kind of got like, no, no, I wasn't, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, yeah. Yo, be man, I love you, man. I'm like, well then why are you trying to do it? Yeah. Did you think it out? Did he correct himself after that?
Starting point is 00:05:49 Or did he, okay, well, but if he was, because what happens is people, people, this is, Bobby will tell you this, are you a comedian? No, I'm not. Okay, well, if you were, this will just, when you work with comedians, they rub off on you. Oh, well, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:04 You know, like when I work with Bobby, like sexual, I'm Asian. Oh, yeah. No, no, just, yeah. But real quick, like when you work with somebody, sometimes things just, it's just the essence of that person, their energy, their whatever mannerisms. So they rub off on you, right?
Starting point is 00:06:19 So then like, I work with you and you'll see my set like eight, nine times and then you go to your set and you'll be like, hey, you'll be doing stuff that I'm doing. Don't even realize. Especially for someone like me, because I'm kind of like an absorbentron. I don't know what I'm absorbing in that moment until I replicate something where I'm like,
Starting point is 00:06:38 wait, I know that's not an original thing I just did. It came from somebody. Right, but comics, no shit like that. You know, you'd be like, dog, you really gonna do that laundromatio. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you saw, you saw, come on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:53 You just changed the lady to a man. Okay, okay, cool. And then usually it's correct, but I haven't had, you know, really. I had a friend do, I had a joke on the tonight show. He did the same exact joke two years later on the tonight show. You're a joke exact joke two years later on the tonight show. You're a joke.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Yeah, and I never said anything to that. What? He's right. He's right. He's right. I'm still now. I've never said anything to Bob, but you don't seem like the guy that would let it go. No, no, it's one by heart.
Starting point is 00:07:18 You want to get it. You got it. It's a rage in my house. I'm going to get revenge for one day. Let's call it. Let's call it right now. Yeah, but you have to beep it out. Yeah. Oh! Oh! I was at the Addison Improv.
Starting point is 00:07:29 You know how, when you're at the Improv, they tell you who's coming up. OK. Right, so they use that clip of his coming up on his thing. And I was using that joke in my app. Right, so I watched it. I was in the back of the box. I wish I could see his head.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I know. And something happened in my eye wound. You know, like I was a reptile alien. Yeah, right, right. And I went into like a rage. Right. But I was gonna call him, but I was like, why? It's already on TV.
Starting point is 00:07:56 You never... You never did on TV. What the fuck am I gonna do after that? You've seen him so many times. Yeah. I let it go. Yeah. This is a shirk.
Starting point is 00:08:04 I love you, though, dude. I love him. Back to David Arnold, though. So David Arnold, for me, was, I used to live with this girl name, Shea Matash. Oh, yeah. Way, way back in the day, Shea maloved only Black Dick. Right. Can I say that?
Starting point is 00:08:22 Yeah, you can say that. Yeah, you can say it. Because Black Dick is one of the best dicks in the world. It's the best Can I say that? Yeah, you can say that. Yeah, you can say that. Because Black Dick is one of the best dicks in the world. But it's the best. You think so? Yeah, I own one. What?
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I'll be walking around with it for a while. You know, I kind of know me. Yeah, you know me, Joy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you've never had an Asian dick. How do you know how? I never have not.
Starting point is 00:08:41 But I'm just saying like, I can only go from what I yeah, right and the rewards are mentioned right Can I defend some dicks will quit you please a little smaller bother like Honda's they last forever They don't really break down Black maybe break down Every now and then you might get your flat Yeah, you think it breaks down on her? Every now and then you might catch a flag. Right, right, right, right. So anyway, yeah, so she only like Black Dick.
Starting point is 00:09:08 And so every time, like, I got, so every morning, they be a new Black guy in the house. And this is in the late 90s. Okay. So I'm more MTV, maybe I'm coming off here. No, you were, you were on MTV. Yeah, yeah, okay, good. And then I remember asking,
Starting point is 00:09:22 just I want to bring that up, hold on now. So think of, anyway. Think of what, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Yeah, yeah, okay, good. And then I remember asking, just I want to bring that up, hold on now, so think about it anyway. Think about what it's like. And the black kicks, everybody's like, they spoke his butt. Black, they're like, every morning,
Starting point is 00:09:31 I would wake up and there would be new black dick in the morning. Yeah. So one morning was David, that's how I met David. But another morning was, oh, oh, yeah. So like, so every day would be someone new,
Starting point is 00:09:42 a new black, that's how I met black, dick, you know, that's how you start becoming familiar. From little black people. And how we travel. Yeah. Yeah, you guys traveled it.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I love it. I love it. So that's how I met David. So I met David then. And then because David was a sober guy. Yeah. And I'm sober guy. So he's helped me out, like I would relapse
Starting point is 00:10:06 and he would help me out. I just, anyway, when I found out that he passed that night, it was devastating, man. Oh my God. Because he's a great guy. Yeah, man, and you know, it goes to show you like how you do have to enjoy every moment of your life. Like, you know, there's really no kind of like
Starting point is 00:10:25 guaranteed thing, you know what I mean? Because like for comedians, and I'm sure this goes for actors as well, like we're always waiting to break through, you know what I mean? Like where, you know, people start accepting you as a great comic or people go, yo man, you on a wave or you know Bobby, man, you killed it in that movie and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Starting point is 00:10:43 And like we always were waiting for that time. And I just felt like it was so unfair for David who was such a grinder and such a comedians' comedian and pushing everybody. And he gave me tags on jokes just freely, like, you'll be. Just, you know, that shit's funny. Boom, boom, boom. He punched up jokes for me all the time.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. And then to get him see him breaking through, like, he's finally getting his, and then boom. I'm like, well, what? Yeah, because two weeks before I was driving down the street, I saw the Netflix. Yeah! You got a fucking billboard.
Starting point is 00:11:15 And I was like, yo! And I was like, oh! And I was like, oh my god. Yeah, man. And he was fucking shame, huh? All right, man. Hey, you was probably trying to jump in. You got to go black dick.
Starting point is 00:11:24 Yeah, I was like, I know it's black dick. That's a good dick. He knew it was probably John Fee. You know what I'm saying? I'm like, dude, I know it's like, dude. That's a good dick. You know what I'm saying? Right there. Pure. So my point is, and then when I found out about the thing, I just felt like it was so unfair. Yeah, I did too.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I felt very sad that it felt so unfair. His family, his kids, everything he did during the pandemic, like you know what I'm saying? Like he really locked in during the pandemic, really doing his thing. His stick was his family. And like being a dad and trying to keep it all together. And it was enjoyable to watch
Starting point is 00:11:59 because he was just 1,000% honest. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I got a chance to enjoy him in a different way too, just, you know, everyone sitting around. I'm doing my little Hollywood stories in the car and comedian was just finding ways to be funny. He found his niche and it worked.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Yeah. So, you know, shut out to David Romney. Yeah. And if you don't know him, check him out because he was a great guy. And also, here's another thing about his thing, is that since he was sober, he didn't do Coca-Cola, you know, cocaine, or, you know, he was like a clean, healthy, you know what I mean, handsome.
Starting point is 00:12:35 He looked good, fit. You know, like one of Patrice, you're like, yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't want him to die, but I mean, but you can see it, like, you can see it, like, it was very unhealthy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, but when you see a guy like David Arnold who, you know, was into taking care of himself,
Starting point is 00:12:53 had a really, really great energy about him and a fantastic smile, always remember his smile. Yeah. It's like, bella me, listen, man. I'm not dealing with you tonight. Yeah, yeah. Cause sometimes I would go on stage and just with you tonight. Yeah, yeah. Because sometimes I would go on stage and just murder that shit.
Starting point is 00:13:08 Yeah. And he'd be like, I'm not following that bullshit. Are you friends with Chris Spencer? Yes. Why is Chris Spencer? He's sort of like, is he a leader? Is he a leader? A leader?
Starting point is 00:13:18 What does that mean? Is there an heir about him? No, there's something about Chris Spencer. Like everyone knows him. And he's sort of like an elder or something. No, he's something about Chris Spencer, like everyone knows him and he's sort of like an elder or something. No, he's not an elder. He is like, he is a comedian's comedian. Oh, that's what it is.
Starting point is 00:13:31 And Chris is connected to so many people on so different levels. Yeah. From a writing standpoint, comic standpoint, doing shows, hip hop. He's had a couple of TV shows and things of that nature. So his reach is pretty vast. And, you know, he plays nature. So his reach is pretty vast and you know
Starting point is 00:13:45 He plays golf so he knows all everybody like I remember the funniest way I met Chris Spencer. Yeah was I was on MTV at the time and I was being recruited to be to replace Arsenio and And it was really weird because I was like, I don't know if I could do a late night show.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Like I'm like, young. And like I always start like late night gods or like mature gods like a kid. Like I'm like, I don't know if I could do a monologue. You know what I mean? Yeah. So anyway, so there was a show called Vib. So Vib did.
Starting point is 00:14:22 He hosted it. And he hosted it. And it was between getting that show So, vibe. So, vibe did- He hosted it. And he hosted it. And it was between- It was between getting that show and getting the Bill Bell on the show. So, basically, I had Yang Yang, Red Pill, Blue Pill. And so, I met Chris Spencer.
Starting point is 00:14:39 There was a guy named Keith Klingtskale, who, you know- Did you do it? It sounds like a baby. No, no, but he's a brother. He's clink scale. Who, you know, is it Jewish? It sounds like a baby. No, no, but he's a brother. That's he's black dick. I'm feeling like black dick, so. We travel, I tell you. Yeah, yeah, just say BD then.
Starting point is 00:14:52 BD, BD. Yeah, BD. He's not Jewish, he BD. Yeah, BD. So real quick. So he was like, Bill, man, I think this is a great opportunity, great opportunity for you, man. It's sort of like a derivative of the magazine.
Starting point is 00:15:06 And I was like, man, damn Paramount is talking crazy. They really want me. And so I end up meeting Chris, and then I end up going to Paramount, and then my shit didn't go. So that's the thing. They pay you all that money to sit there. I know. Now you mentioned golf, golf again the second time.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Do you think that that's sort of like the ticket into like real friendships in this industry? Well, I think it's one of them. I think what's cool about golf is that people get comfortable playing golf. Like because you're outside and it's beautiful and you know, it's just like a, it's almost like meditative, like you kind of calm down.
Starting point is 00:15:48 You're not in your office, you're not the big wig executive. You're playing golf and you're like, with your boys and you're smoking scars and you kicking it. They make a lot of deals in the golf course. So if you really want to come out with a line and you want to do something, you better start golfing.
Starting point is 00:16:00 I'm thinking more for Bobby. You can't golf trauma. There's two things, okay. I realize golf is one of those things, but here's another thing is sobriety. So I go to A meetings with people that are also in the business. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:15 You're not in the same environment, you're vulnerable, you're more open, right? Correct. And that's you're just hanging, and you're talking about love and helping each other. But do you think that people manipulate the system to you knowing that people manipulate the system to knowing that?
Starting point is 00:16:26 Because I mean, that's sort of like a known fact, right? Like you can meet like pretty important people in AA meetings. Well, I mean, you have to pretend to be an alcoholic. You're gonna be, that's a hard song. You're gonna be a man. Hi, I'm an alcoholic. I'm an alcoholic.
Starting point is 00:16:40 Yeah. But could you see yourself ever like getting into golf seeing as how your dad used your body as a golf course. My dad used to beat me with golf clubs. You lying. No, are you dead ass? No, that's what he won't play. That's why I won't play. So when I see a golf club, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, no, well how many holes went one two three Seven holes right right so yeah, I hear them all. Well how many holes do you have?
Starting point is 00:17:08 Well hopefully the same The extra holes oh maybe you're missing one. Oh, that's true. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, never know Maybe P you poo and out of the same hole I don't know what maybe do the same. What is it? Wait, wait, wait, stop, stop, stop. Hold on, hold on. Wait. Poop, poop, poop. What?
Starting point is 00:17:30 I don't know what it is. Why? Why? Why? Why is it you that? I don't know. That's my, if I do a special, that's the name. Poop, poop, poop.
Starting point is 00:17:38 That's a real thing, like a fistula. If you have a fistula, you can, your wires can cross and pooh can can come out the room. Oh, I don't want my poo poo No, no, no, I don't want that. I don't want that. I'm not going to be able to stay in the poo poo. Yeah, yeah Yeah, that might not be good. When women have Crohn's disease, sometimes the poo comes out of the vagina Tell me about that. It's because the colon is Tell me about that I don't think it's true. I don't think beady likes that Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So basically, the colon is diseased and sometimes it can attach itself
Starting point is 00:18:11 and fuse with a wrong area. And so that can connect to maybe the area that really. I went to nursing school. You look like a nurse. That's the nicest thing anyone's ever said. You look like you are a nerd. Like you look like, yeah, you can you look like the girl that comes in and has the soft right room temperature to room temperature tone. You're going to get better, Mr. Bellamy. Listen, today we're going to do your medication. Like you have that kind of warmness to you. Yeah, that's I can see that. Bell me listen today. We're gonna do your medication. Like, yeah, like you, you have that kind of warmness to you.
Starting point is 00:18:46 Yeah, that's, I can see that. Thank you. I appreciate that. Like a warmness to you. But also it's just like a Filipino tradition. It's like if you don't try your hand at nursing. You have to be a nurse as a Filipino. Yeah, especially.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Yeah, I mean, now Filipino kids are doing everything, but like when I was growing up, that was like fast-tracked. Yeah, I don't understand. So I was certain minorities like they are in, it's like my Indian friends, my Caribbean friends, and now Filipinos, because I didn't know that part, it's like medicine to help people,
Starting point is 00:19:20 that's a quality job. You never hear say, you never hear Filipinos say, I'm gonna be a electrician. It just never comes up. Why? I don't know. Why? I'm asking these guys why?
Starting point is 00:19:31 Well, no, there's a really, really like wires. There's a lot of you know, like, you know, like power. Light bulbs. Light bulbs. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:39 It stems from like way back, like during the war when they would recruit Filipino nurses to work here in the United States. Oh, in the war. Because you recruit Filipino nurses to work here in the United States. Oh, and the war. They can't see and ask this status thing. A status thing, yeah. And it continues to be that,
Starting point is 00:19:50 but I think the younger generation now, like we don't go fuck. We are becoming electricians. Right, yeah, you're like, have you ever had BD? You know, what's BD? I might, like, what friend was, a five years was black?
Starting point is 00:20:01 What are you talking about? Oh, that's right, he was. Right before you. So we dated for 10 years, we broke up, but we dated for 10 years. Oh, so 10 years clean together and then break up for our... We broke up a year ago. Yeah. And we're still doing the podcast together. Yeah, but we're no longer together.
Starting point is 00:20:13 We're no longer together. Put your guys or friends like that. That's Fred. Yeah. And that's dope. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's some like, yeah, Hollywood shit. Thanks, man. Hey, baby, you know we ain't work, but we work.
Starting point is 00:20:23 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you're no my shit, I know you're shit. So let's just do a show, fuck it. That is actually cute. I like that. But his BD though, he was half BD. No, if you got a half, it's a whole. It's a whole.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I have never heard of that before. That's the last. That's the last. Whoa, that's the last. That's the last. You got a whole. Whoa, so you're mixed with any B, right? You get a whole.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Yeah, yeah. If I was a quarter B, I'd be, oh, you'd be a whole B. I didn't know that. Yeah, so more about it. But if you have a little Asian, you're not a whole Asian. No, no, it's either way. You can go either way. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:21:03 Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because the thing about the black gene, like the, whoa, tell me about it. Sheen. Yeah. It's very dominant. Like it just dominates. It just comes in and just takes over.
Starting point is 00:21:14 You're asking if my ex had a big penis? No, she said, no, he said that did you have BD? And you said yes. Yeah. Five years. Of course. Yeah, it's, but could I just, can I give you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:27 So if I'm at ice cream play, you know how they're the swirls? Yeah. Sometimes they do the swirl with the vanilla and the black. You always taste the chocolate. That's so cute. Yo. You just fucking buggled my mind. You're right.
Starting point is 00:21:38 It's not a half. It's a half. It's a whole. I never thought of it that way. You're right. Anything mixed with chocolate. Always taste the chocolate, baby. Right. thought of it that way. You're right. Anything mixed with chocolate. Always mixed with chocolate, baby. Right.
Starting point is 00:21:47 You always take the chocolate out. You can't take the chocolate out. Right. So if I'm eating meatloaf or pineapple, I'm eating a, there's a little bit of chocolate. You can't say that. I'm eating chocolate. Yeah, chocolate.
Starting point is 00:21:57 That's incredible. Oh, man, that's that black thing. Yeah, yeah. What's an Asian flavor? Soy sauce. Yeah. You know what, sesame oil. Oh, sesame oil. Very overpowering. You know what sesame oil. Oh, sesame oil.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Very overpowering. If you put sesame, even a little bit, I don't think that's an Asian thing. That's what we want. I'm trying to say. What would be like a really cool Asian thing? What'sabi? What'sabi? We don't have what'sabi in the Philippines.
Starting point is 00:22:17 The Philippines is Asia 2K. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's all right. It's your eyes, come on. It's like that. What's something that would be like kind of cool, like with Asian people that would be.
Starting point is 00:22:26 White rice. No, but white rice. The thing about rice though, it's just like kind of bland. It goes with everything. It does, it doesn't ever overpower. It's so funny you just go with it. Because when I said white rice just now, their mouth has got watery.
Starting point is 00:22:41 And yours didn't. No, I don't. You yours didn't. Nah, John. You can just say right, right, right, to black people. You gotta say right, right, right, and stake. And you know, or rice and peas. Like, you gotta check it. We're chicken. You gotta throw some shit.
Starting point is 00:22:56 We always throw shit on our stuff. We always throw. And just salt. Black people, just sauce and pebbles. You always love salt. Too much salt. Yeah. I wonder why we did it. You always love salt, too much salt. Yeah. I wonder why we did it.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Yeah, you guys like gravy, no? I love it, too. I love it. That gravy is cool. Great gravy, too, like yummy gravy. Like, that's got that like really flavorful sort of vibe to it. I like to cook. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:23:19 I started doing COVID, like just burning shit. Yeah. Because you know, we couldn't go to restaurants. It was all crazy and stuff like that. So one of my favorite things that I got out of COVID was learning how to cook, like go on a food network, grab all those ingredients and try to make some shit. It was actually fun.
Starting point is 00:23:35 What'd you make? Wow, one of my favorite things that I made, I made a Caribbean salmon with mangoes and peppers. So you, and then you have to use tamarind. Tamarind now? Caribbean, salmon, with mangoes and peppers. So you, and then you have to use tamarind. Tamarind now. Yeah, man, yeah, man, like it was, but it was so yummy with bland rice. You started cooking too in the pandemic.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Yeah, potato, right? Potatoes. You got, you called yourself the potato king during the pandemic. Oh, the poto king. The poto king, yeah. Yeah. I made big potatoes.
Starting point is 00:24:03 You learned how to make big, you learned how to make big? Yeah. That's what I said. That's what I said. I learned how to bore water. I know. But I did good, you know.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I wrap it up, put it in the fucking oven, right? Right. I looked through the window the whole time and I've, because I have a light thing. So I lit up the stove. Okay, lit it up. I look through lit it up. I think it's ready. It looks good. I pulled it out, put some butter in it.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Starting point is 00:24:36 Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Starting point is 00:24:44 Boom. Boom. Boom. not a store. Yeah. It's the air fryer. Air fryer. Yeah. The thing is hard body, bro. I have air, I love hair. The air fryer can do so much shit. You, you, it's crazy.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Like you can just do stuff quick. You can, um, it gives it a certain kind of crispness. Yeah, like dog meat. I love dog meat. Oh, you do. No. I'm cool. Oh, you've got a dog.. I love dog meat. Oh, you do. No. I'm cool.
Starting point is 00:25:06 Oh, when you get a dog, when you get a dog, it cooks so fast. It does. You can make our dogs eat it. Oh, God. It's so good. We're going to get the animal people. Yeah. Bobby, let me help it.
Starting point is 00:25:20 I'm kidding. Open up your air fryer. You're equivalent to like child XCPS for dogs, because they might take our dogs away if you keep talking about eating dogs. This is a joke. There's a, you know, the stereo- I think the dog's-
Starting point is 00:25:32 I think it's a joke. You look so guilty. You look so guilty, Bobby. Look at your face. It's just a joke. I thought it was a puppy. You heard of that stereo type, though, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:25:44 But you don't have family members that did that because I do that still do it. Yeah, yeah, in Korea, my dad ate it. Yeah, so the link is like through that. Yeah, so it's real. It's all the way real. Yeah, it's all the way. But back in the day, during the Korean war,
Starting point is 00:25:58 there wasn't a lot of cows hanging out. Right. You got to eat what you got to eat. What does an Asian Korean cow sound like? Moodle. Yeah. There were no fucking, you know, cows, like, incredible.
Starting point is 00:26:10 Right. Right. Or what's a Korean chicken sound like? Oh, shit. Yeah, yeah. What do you mean chicken sound? Dukduk kaw. That's the Filipino chicken.
Starting point is 00:26:19 It's a Filipino chicken. We've gone to this. We don't know how to do it. Oh, yeah. Dukduk kaw. Dukduk kaw. You know what? Dukduk k cockadoodle do it. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah. Boop, boop, boop, boop. You know what?
Starting point is 00:26:26 You can just sound Asian as it is. Yeah, that is. Yeah, you're right, they don't have an accent. Boop, boop, boop. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Boop, boop, boop, boop. Yeah. It does sound Asian already.
Starting point is 00:26:36 It does, the way I do it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, yeah. But back in the day, it was a cheaper meat, I guess. Yeah. But like, it was available. It was available. But now now I guess there still is a industry in Korea, but I don't know much.
Starting point is 00:26:48 I don't know anyone that's eating it. Can I tell you a funny story really good? Yeah, tell me. So first time I go to, I was in Japan. I was in Japan, right? And very high in, my wife and I were traveling from, we had went to Bali and we'd come across, my bar, we stopped, and we was like,
Starting point is 00:27:11 yeah, we're gonna do a couple stops back, so we stopped. And we go to this real fly as like five star, the Japanese restaurant, whatever. And I was like, you know, I'm a foodie, so I'm like, I'm always trying some new shit and shit, I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna get the fucking duck. Oh, duck? I'm gonna get the duck.
Starting point is 00:27:29 And they said the duck. And they said the duck comes with this incredible sauce and it's gonna be live, it's gonna be dope. But more boom, boom, boom. I'm gonna say, okay, I'm getting the duck. So I'm sitting there, right? They brought the duck out. And the duck was looking at me like this.
Starting point is 00:27:44 They brought you live. No, no, not live. No, no, no, no, no. Like when I thought it was gonna be all cut up, like, you know, like this. And this, but the duck with the beak and everything. But it was, it was eyeballs. Bro, eyeballs.
Starting point is 00:28:01 I was like, yo, like the funny part, because I'm thinking, you know, in America, we used to like, this duck and you get the little drizzle sauce. I'm thinking it's gonna come like that. No, it was the duck, it was cooked beautifully, but it was right in front of you. It's like, oh shit, and I can still see him. Go man, you pick me.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Hahaha. Hahaha. Thanks bro. Thanks a lot, bro. Thanks man. I just got here. I'm dead. Did you put on those sunglasses?
Starting point is 00:28:28 Yeah. I know. That's sort of why I do respect Asians, though, because in the Philippines, we serve the pig whole. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. The whole shit. I think that it's almost like we cannot deny the reality of our food.
Starting point is 00:28:42 See? See, you see what I'm saying? Y'all. Oh, man. That's not the same, because I'm thinking of our food. See? See you, Sam. Y'all. Oh, man. That's not the same, because I'm thinking of the park. Like, when I saw that, I'm thinking of the park and like, yeah, yeah, yeah. For Donald Duck, with the same thing I'm doing with, man. I think that's what we deserve, like,
Starting point is 00:28:58 a little bit of sadness when we enjoy the flavor, because like- But it was so good. I just couldn't look at him. That's right. So I told him, I was like, please, please, can you take him in the back? You're not going to have to chop the neck up. I can't come in back and just cut it up the way I can.
Starting point is 00:29:13 I can't look at him. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wow. I remember one time, I go out with D.O. Hugley, like, that's one of my guys. He went, nicest guy in the world. Greatest guy. And he always knows great restaurants, right? So he takes us to some crazy upscale shit.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And we ordered like a fish that was like a fucking five, six pound thing. And it's like beautifully, and we cut it, and all of us can eat it because it comes out. It's so big. Wow. But the eyes and everything is telling us. So they bring about, boom, he's smoking still.
Starting point is 00:29:48 He's like, woo. Yeah. And then they cut it. And it's almost like a panseered or like a fried thing. But when you cut it and the meat, it's just soft and moist. But the outside is kind of like a nice crisp. But what, if you saw that fish, what would you do? I would eat eyes first.
Starting point is 00:30:04 Eyes first. You're going to get the eye? what would you do? I would eat eyes first. Eyes first. You're going to get the eye? Yeah, the eyes. So, okay, so fish cheeks, fish eyes, fish tails, my favorite part of the fish. And collar. Especially if it's deep fried collar. So the head of the fish is my favorite thing to boil. It is so flavorful, the cheek is so meaty and probably the softest part of the fish. And so, but the eyes, when you fry it right,
Starting point is 00:30:27 it's just a chip, it's so crunchy, delicious. It's so, yeah. Yeah, I look like I'm out for more than a minute. But it's so, I do agree that I love, this is, I'm getting my Filipino on right here. I think that, like, the tail, you right, like there's a crispiness to it, it It's like and it's somehow the seasoning is in that. Yeah, like you know, I know what you mean, but I never ate
Starting point is 00:30:50 the eyes. Okay, so when you fry a whole fish try eating the eye first because it's very it's almost like it's the saltiest part it seems like. Yeah, it concentrates the salt. Help you see the future. That's what our parents would say. That's what they would say. If you bite into it. That's what our parents would say. That's what they would say. I would say. If you bite into it with the juices, squirt in your mouth. Yeah, yeah, like one of those gum,
Starting point is 00:31:10 you know those word gums that, what? Has he done it? No, he would never. Yeah, I mean the dick. Just fish. Wait, wait, wait. You just said the wrong thing. I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:31:18 I know you've eaten dick, but I was. No, no, no, no. Well, we're laughing. Just get it together. No, what, no. You might want to clean it up. So, you know, this is a show. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:31:30 No, he think he had the bar. Yeah, I did it. Let me talk a little bit. Let me talk a little bit. Let me talk. While you guys were talking with the eyes, in my mind, I was like, do fish have dick? And then when it came out, I go, I think I've eaten the dick,
Starting point is 00:31:43 but it came out wrong. Right. Right, so I'm glad you did it. Make sure this thing's in the cell. Let me back, let me back, let me back, let me clear. This fish have dick. They've been saying some fish, they've just released the sperm and two, but they've been in the water, right? Like, like, she's forget, like, starch or fish,
Starting point is 00:32:00 two, two, I catch, yeah. Two? I shoot fish. Oh, you, I die, then I just feel full. see we get back on topic. Okay, let's go back on I want to know about the mermaid basically. Yeah, yeah, so basically like you forget that like a tiger shark is a fish Okay, a whale shark is a thing and they have digs. I know that they have very different anatomies than something like a parrot fish They for instance the parakeet fish. I know not only parrot fish can turn from female to male, depending on what the community means.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Oh, Tran, Tran, Tran, Tran. I know the hatch hatch. Yeah, do they drink Bud Light? LAUGHTER They love Bud Light. LAUGHTER What is wrong with five? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:32:43 It's with their trans fish. Yeah, like for instance, like some sharks. You learn some new everyday. I'm learning. Like you think fish is lay eggs, but some sharks, they do live births. They're there's like such a range in their anatomy. So it's hard to.
Starting point is 00:32:57 So you're basically some fish, like little sardines and stuff, that they don't have decks. No, sardines wouldn't have decks. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They would just probably release their... But they just go, and then it just gets in water and then it grabs the eggs or something. But I've seen it before for whatever reason. Yeah, yeah. Why do you know that? I don't know. It's just a random thing I've seen. And then the other thing that I've seen
Starting point is 00:33:17 is like seahorses have little penises. Oh, I love seahorses. They get it in. I didn't even know that. I saw that too. Because I saw, I saw it on my, I saw it, I saw it on my little, I have very good dreams. Yeah, no. I dream in sea horses. No, but I saw like, it was like, he has a little thing, he's like, do do do do do do.
Starting point is 00:33:35 I was like, oh shit. Oh, so they smash. Yeah, they smash. That's amazing. That's amazing. Have you seen a whale dick? Whale dick? It's an actual bone. Like, it isn't something like you know like the human penis like it blood flow causes it to engor
Starting point is 00:33:50 You can actually remove a whale bone because my marine biology professor would use it as like the thing to stir to punch in this party. It was that heart It was a bone. So y'all stirred just you wait whale dick Look at that thing dude And he's also black so he's all black. Yeah, yeah He's got B.D. Do you see see you see at the bottom of that dick is black That's true dude what the fuck Holy shit, yeah, that's a whole black dick, man. Holy shit, dude. Yeah, that's ABD, all black dick.
Starting point is 00:34:28 Look at that thing, though, dude. That's amazing. Wow. I mean, I didn't know I was gonna learn so much on your show, man. I just had no idea what I was walking into. That's fucking amazing. This is one other thing, though, about killer whales. Have you guys heard this recently?
Starting point is 00:34:45 Awesome. I'm just loving you. Like you are a wealth of knowledge. Like she just seen the bones. So quiet. And she's gone. She's killing a game right now. The animal stuff.
Starting point is 00:34:55 Yeah. Oh my god. Good. So lately there, there have been these pack of killer whales that are sinking boats off the coast. Yeah. I don't know why they're doing it though. But we do know why.
Starting point is 00:35:06 So it turns out one of, I think her, I forget what her name was, Gladys. There was an, an orca. A kid named Gladys. A kid named Gladys. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, Some white person called her glad is definitely her name could have been Lucuisia though. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It could have been anything or chinching but it was glad chinching because it's an anti whale. That's a very Not bad bad. But so she recently got injured by either one of the propellers of the boat But she sustained an injury from a vessel
Starting point is 00:35:38 Uh-huh And so what they're theorizing now is that she's taught other killer whales in her pack to basically retaliate on her behalf. And so they've been going after boats and sinking them. Whoa. So, they're like a kalian. I mean, they have like, there's a lot of missions, you know, that they have really big brains, possibly like more intelligence. Yeah, they communicate seamlessly. They're kind of scary, right?
Starting point is 00:36:03 Like mafia style. So they was like, what happened? You want me to do what happened? Yeah. So Gladys was chilling and she was like, I didn't know. So Gladys was swimming around and shit, whatever. And she was having a good time, her and her cousins, and whatever.
Starting point is 00:36:16 What happened was they was having a good fucking day. Yeah. You know, they were feeding, they were having a good time. And this big ass vessel came and hit her bone. Blue her fucking shoulder out. Oh shit. And she was hurting her. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:32 And the pack was like, yeah, what the fuck happened to Gladys? Yeah. Gladys was like, the motherfuckers, they hit me with that goddamn bone. And they didn't even say sorry. Whoa. What? Because Gladys is the sorry. Whoa. What?
Starting point is 00:36:45 Because, gladiator's the chip. Right. Everyone that come through here, we shuttin' it down. Whoa, so that's what went down. Because I've seen three different things on the internet. Ironically, you said that, where they're coming out, the water hitting, bro. I see that idea.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Not because they could come from the bottom. Right. They're coming out, they're breaching. Boom! And they ain't nothing we could do. And they ain't, it ain't a damn thing a human could do if the killer whale comes out the water and just dislikes to slam his body on your thing.
Starting point is 00:37:16 You better get in a water. But my point though is that you could do this. Just not go there. Isn't the ocean big? It's a very big. Can't they go, that's what God is family is. But that's like imagine if they travel though, that's the thing they do.
Starting point is 00:37:28 They don't just stay in a neighborhood. No, I don't know that. So they go from, you know what I mean? Watts to Long Beach. Long Beach something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This isn't Spain, right? But then there's like Orcas in Seattle
Starting point is 00:37:40 and like the Pacific Northwest. The ocean is more than we can understand, bro. These things move with temperature. These things move to feed for a certain time and go back over here and they go, you know, they're interesting. They work. I'm with you.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I'm starting to get all deep. But they're just an interesting, they have their own ecosystem like they really, really are well managed beings. They really really are the way they hunt is so organized Yeah, it's like a trip right if you get into it. I don't know why I'm going. You I'm kind of geeky Who's that old Englishman that does aton burrow and burrow? Yeah, you should do it from now on. Oh What's that David Ann? Barrow does all those animal
Starting point is 00:38:21 He's the voice over oh my god You should be the guy. You think I should do that? Yeah. You be the fucking best dude. I learned more. You might be, because I'm gonna make it more. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:32 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I would make it more. You might be able to understand it, whatever. Yeah. Yeah, the way you describe like, glad is his shoulder. Yeah. Yeah. Don't have a story teller.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Teller, dude. That's the next thing, dude. No, that's dope, Bobby. I didn't think it is. Let me ask you, I always telling you. That's the next thing, dude. No, that's dope, Bobby. I ain't thinking of that. Let me ask you, I always wanted to ask you this. And I don't know if it's like folklore, but in the 90s, when you were on MTV, Yes.
Starting point is 00:38:53 Us comics, open micers would talk, how much Bill Bell and me is making on MTV. Yes. And somebody had told me you make $10,000 a week back then. Is that true? Uh, I don't know how much I,000 a week back then. Is that true? I don't know how much I made in a week. I know that I was the highest paid. Wow.
Starting point is 00:39:12 And I was, when I came to MTV, I think I was making like 250 a year. Wow. And I left. I was at 600,000. Oh, and it's from the age? In the 90s. Yeah, because what happened was I was,
Starting point is 00:39:29 I shot out like a rocket. Like I got, you know, they gave me like a screen test kind of thing, because you got to understand I did it for like seven years. Wow. So and I got really popular. So I leveraged that, you know, you got to be like, because the other person that was highly paid
Starting point is 00:39:44 was Cindy Crawford. Shit. There wasn't paying nobody, bro, you know, you have to be. Wow. Because the other person that was highly paid was Cindy Crawford. Shit. There wasn't paying nobody, bro. I know, I was on Matt TV, you know how much I made? A dollar, right? Yeah, I made, well, first year, every episode I would make $4,000. I'm on a network TV show. $4,000.
Starting point is 00:40:00 And they got four grand a week. No. And I was like, oh, fuck. But at the time though, I'm like, you're because you're week. No. And I was like, oh, fuck, but you at the time though, I'm like, yeah, because you open micers. Right, right, right. But you got to understand, like you say coming from an open micer to making for a thousand a week, that's actually not horrible. It's not really. But like, no, it really isn't because you know, you open mic, you knew you trying to get on. I mean, I get it. But like, when should you get on? you get on, like for me, I had two things in my favor.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I was not just a guy off the street. I was already making noise, right? Yeah, yeah. So I was on HBO, Def Comedy Jam, then I got HBO young comedian, special director. Wow. With Ray Romano and Nick DeFala. I was just like rolling,
Starting point is 00:40:47 and then I got MTV. And it was like, they were like, oh my God, we need a black out of 20 that knows the music and this and the other. And at first, I was just doing MTV Jams, like all the urban top 40. And then when I was getting good at it, I was like, oh, they were like, well, let's let them do top 40.
Starting point is 00:41:05 Yeah, yeah. You know, pop, like all the pop music with rock bands and everything. So now I got this eclectic sort of diverse palette for music. So now I'm bigger than that. I'm not just, you know, the black guy over here, I'm sitting here with Kurt Cobain. I'm talking to Jen and I'm talking to Madonna.
Starting point is 00:41:22 And so that's how I blew up. So then when it was time to negotiate, get the bag. Yeah. I know, because we were looking at you going, oh my god, that's the life right there. It was super fun. Yeah. Everybody, everyone always wanted to have that job.
Starting point is 00:41:39 And it was definitely a lot of fun because it was like, how hard is it to do comedy? We're funny guys, like, you know what I mean? Imagine just like being on the beach and telling your own really funny jokes and being in your personality and getting paid for that. That's all it was. But I just had to know the music though.
Starting point is 00:41:57 So basically I could be myself, but I did have to study the music. Like I need to listen to your album. I need to know, you know, producers, you get. So you had to get sharp. You had to be sharp to your album. I need to know, you know, producers, you get. So you had to get sharp. You had to be sharp on your music. So then when you were talking, you could be fluent. I didn't want to be like,
Starting point is 00:42:10 I didn't learn shit that you didn't, you like. I want to never know. Like, I didn't learn, I didn't grunge was new. Like, what the fuck is going on doing that? Yeah. Like, this shit is new. Hey, Aisa, base, what's that? Aisa, Aisa, Aisa, Aisa, Aisa, Aisa, Aisa. Did you get to learn Anya? Yeah. Anya. Like this shit is new. He hates a bass, what's that?
Starting point is 00:42:25 He hates a movie, he hates it. You get to learn Anya? Yeah. Anya. And like, and it's more sad. What kind of music is that, Anya? But it's, it's, it, but these genres, you gotta understand. And this is why I think people are gonna really like my
Starting point is 00:42:39 book, Top Bill and this, because I'm walking you through, like it was as if a window opened up or a, like, just, just a vortex opened up and MTV allowed all this new talent to come through it because they were just doing rock. Yeah, initially. It was just, right. Yeah. And then when I got there, like like 92 they were like, okay, well
Starting point is 00:43:05 we're gonna take a little chance on Michael Jackson because Michael Jackson wasn't even on the Michael Jackson gets on then you got Madonna's on there. Then you got like you get these little cool little bands, you know, Errol Smith. Yeah, you know, yeah, what we were on it in 1992. Yeah. Wow. What a fun time. It was fun. Beautiful.
Starting point is 00:43:26 That's what we was buying records. This is what we was going to tower records. I used to be a tower records for three hours by an album. Yeah, yeah. There was a tower records in Hollywood. Right on sunset. Yeah. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:43:38 There was a virgin one, too. Remember, virgin on sunset? Absolutely. And every Monday, they would have new release. Like, I would go there every Monday. And then they could listen to the music. Yeah, you could. I talk about that in my book,
Starting point is 00:43:49 it's like that wasn't the essence of when if you was a real musical lover. That was a moment for you. Like if you love music, you knew that Fridays was getting released about six, seven albums, the new tribe, album was coming out. You actually knew like every genre that was dropping.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Yeah. And so you could go there and sample. And he had headphones like all like rolls. You remember that? And you would come up to me and ask me something. And I'm like, huh? I'm listening. You might want to check out this new album. It was like a cool community of people that music lovers.
Starting point is 00:44:24 I love that. Bill, this might not be appropriate. I don't know. It was like, it was like a cool, like a community of people that music lovers. Yeah, yeah, I love that. Yeah, that's not- Bill, this might not be appropriate. I don't know if you've already addressed this, but I'm asking because she just played the Hollywood Bowl over the weekend and all my friends went to it.
Starting point is 00:44:37 But like, did you have a thing with Janet Jackson ever? Yes, but not like you think. Our thing was just we liked each other I think like we never crossed the line No, no, no we hung out all the time Whoa and I went on to a with her and It was really interesting you know, I'm saying because I felt like Janet Had a crush on me, but like would not cross the line. What does that feel like? but like would not cross the line. What does that feel like?
Starting point is 00:45:03 It's crazy. It's been like my queen for so long, especially growing up. I think it was my humor, like I made her comfortable or something. Like she was like, Bill, you're so cool. Good, Janet Jackson. LAUGHTER
Starting point is 00:45:16 And so, you know, I'm not thinking that I, this is how silly I am. I, she's a superstar. I'm a young, trying to be a star, right? So I don't even realize that I could even get to that level because she's selling out arenas. Right. And I'm doing small theaters in clubs. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:36 And she's superstar and she calls me and says, I want you to go and tour with me. Wow. And I'm like, me. Oh my God. But is there anyone you're, have you, because you've been around a lot of dudes, right? I'm like Oh my god, but is there anyone you're have you because you've been around a lot of dudes right and famous people is there anyone that you're intimidated by or now Like you're hanging out with them. You're like holy fuck. I'm hanging out with so-and-so. Yeah, our Michael Jordan was intimidating Holy fuck you you you fuck out with him. Yeah, because Michael Yes, that's me a Janet
Starting point is 00:46:02 Yeah, so that's me a Janet. She is crushing on you. Look at her eyes. Oh, I'm so funny. And like it was just a natural chemistry. It was very nice. That's so sweet. It was very nice. And she was very kind to me. I always love her for that.
Starting point is 00:46:13 Like she was just like, she like, it was almost as if I was a little brother, but then it was always this feeling like, you know, you could get it Just a teaspoon yeah, yeah, she liked the beading who's giving you that energy. Oh Shit oh fuck that's a good question. Yeah Dude, I don't look sexual to these people. That's wrong. What do you mean wrong? You think Sarah Jessica Parker's like, I wanna fuck it, no. No, I think you're such a sexual being.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Yeah, but you, but you're not on the set. You know what I'm saying? And this is something wrong with you. Like you're dropped on your head or something. You know, I'm not the fuck at this. Something dropped on the head. Yeah, yeah. But like, just to give you an example
Starting point is 00:47:00 on why Michael Jordan was interesting because I've never felt, where there's two people, well, there's three mics that I've been around that I'm like that. Can I get some? Three mics. Three mics. Michael Jordan. Buh. Michael Jackson. Buh. Michael Bluebley. I don't think it's how you say. What do you say? Bluebley. Bluebley. I say boobly's how you say. How do you say Bluebley? Bluebley. I say Bluebley. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Is that a real guy though? Yeah. No, but it's not his Michael. It's got to be a mic. Okay, Mike. Mike Tyson. Yes. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:47:35 Bobby. Bobby for $300. Bobby for $300. Yeah. So real quick, so what I realized about them was like, that was the level of fame that I was kind of like, oh my god, like like that's so crazy. Like when you go to dinner with Michael Jordan,
Starting point is 00:47:48 or he invites you to go smoke cigars, like there's so much prep and gotta make sure this is sealed off and this is roped off and people. And this thing, God, this was the era when they weren't, there weren't phones that were recording. Yeah. But people were like staring and like they would come close to the rope.
Starting point is 00:48:07 And Michael, Mike, I love you, Michael. Great game. You want to get his attention and his eating. And I was like, Mike, how you do this shit? He was like, dude, just do it, man. I just make sure I'm back here. I have a good time. I'm gonna tell you how famous Michael Jordan was.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Well, we already know. No, but I'm gonna show you something. Just no, no, no, no, no, this was so crazy. And I thought it was some bullshit, but it was really true. Yeah. They had a fake Michael Jordan sometimes to make people walk this way. Oh, damn.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Oh, decoys. Decoys. Whoa. I do that sometimes, and they need de-coise for me. We have Dr. Ken Jeong. Right. Why am I his de-coise? Yeah, you're his de-coise.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Bobby, go this way. We wasn't your body double like a chubby lady. Yeah. You lying. Yeah, I did a break dance movie with Jamie Kennedy called Kickin' at Old School. In Canada, they couldn't find a guy with my body. They found a Filipino dancer, because I had a dance and I couldn't dance
Starting point is 00:49:10 so they got me a body double. So they got a fat Filipino girl. I love it. They had a white guy, they had a white guy be my stand in in Canada. Cause there's no brothers up there. What? No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:49:22 It was so fucking funny. I was just seeing them like this dude. I'm like, Oh, my God. Who the fuck is that? There was like, he's your stand in. It's really tough up here. It's really tough, Bill.
Starting point is 00:49:35 It's really tough. I don't find Mike Tyson that imitated because he's so nice. Well, well, not in the game. Not in the game, maybe. Not like, I knew back in the day. Yeah, I'm talking in. Mike now is like, Hey, you can't make that. Mike back then was day, maybe. Not like new back in the day. Yeah, I'm talking in it. Mike now is like,
Starting point is 00:49:45 Hey, you can't make that. Mike back then was like, I'm gonna fuck you till you love me. But when I was running to be like, he's gonna rip you. Yeah. I swear, I'm gonna hurt you. I'm trying not to hurt everybody.
Starting point is 00:49:55 I'm trying not to hurt anybody. Like when you're making a night, he's like, was so famous. Like, he was in the news every other night from doing something outlandish, like punching a guy in the face, leaving a rose voice in the middle of the street, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh Famous like I'm I'm not even I don't want to say I was famous yet. I'm popular like this popularity You're famous shut the fuck up. You're famous, but that's it's still another level
Starting point is 00:50:30 So then I was like damn you can't go to the movies no more You got to have all these security guys. You got to have all these people grabbing on you pulling on you and in certain cases in my career Where I felt that energy, it was really crazy. Like I'll give you an example. When I was on MTV, we did Woodstock. And I was, and it was live. I think it was 94. Looking up, see if you can.
Starting point is 00:50:59 And you were there. And I was there. Was it? And it rained. Oh, I remember, yeah, it was raining. It was a disaster, right. I was a disaster and so I was Live with the people And they were swarming me. Oh my god. I had to have like seven security dudes
Starting point is 00:51:16 So we could shoot because they were like My god and they're all high and they're Bell Bell and me we're in love yeah. And they're all high and they're crazy. And then it started raining so now we all turn to mud. Whoa, I'm doing this because I gotta read the uh, yeah, yeah. And we're live and they're changing. We're, Bell, Bell, we're coming from Guns and Rose.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Wait, wait, wait, no, no, no, Guns and Rose. No, Guns and Rose, you're going to, you're going to, Blime Allen. Hey, but that was Blime Allen. Wow. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Especially blind melons playing, because that's like this, but the song. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You see those things? Yeah, I did Joe Cocker. Like, look up, look up the lineup. The lineup was crazy.
Starting point is 00:52:12 But this wasn't the woodstock that like the documentary we watched, right? Well, this was it. Yeah, it was too. It was one in, it was one, the one I was at was, it was in Saga's, right? Yeah, this was the, the, the tamer of the, Yeah, this was the the tamer of the. Yeah, this was where the crowd was violent.
Starting point is 00:52:29 That was later on. No, I was at the 94. I think it was 94. 94. You got green day. Holy shit, we got that line up. I know, I know Cheryl Crow. What's foothold?
Starting point is 00:52:41 I don't know that, but Cheryl Crow. The goats. The goats go and then I know Joe Carker performed. Yeah. I know, um, go down to no, no, no, no day one. That those are like, okay, see there you go. There we go.
Starting point is 00:52:52 So I saw Joe Carker, blind melons, super slow. Night in snail, it's Metallica. Listen, look, 90s, but Carol Smith. Oh my god.
Starting point is 00:53:00 Bro, this is like white boy heaven. Yeah. And, and it was such a spiritual thing What do you mean because I think it rained on the very first one too So it was just like Jesus came with something. Oh, and so I will never forget They all started lighting candles like holding candles up at night. It looks so beautiful And it was just like mud.
Starting point is 00:53:27 And people were all assing. It was crazy. Wow. I never been around so many people that looked like they didn't know I was there. Did you drop out, sir? No, but they were like, no, I didn't. But you could tell, they were like,
Starting point is 00:53:42 bellow me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, wow. It was like they were looking at me like I was inside a bubble or something and I'm like, what the fuck? Kinda trunks is that? Wow. Yeah, and that was a scary kind of situation. And were you in a relationship then?
Starting point is 00:53:56 No, I don't think so. So you could have. I had a good thing. Yeah, I was very good at that. Wouldn't it be very good at what, BD? No, no, no, no. I was good at like having a lot of um, friends. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Oh my God. It was nice times. I'm so jealous. Yeah, no, no, no social media, no. Like, oh my God. Well, that's what I was gonna say to you. Like, I think that was maybe just like, the most perfect time to exist.
Starting point is 00:54:20 To be innocent and like explore and like, make a mistake or two, you know, you know, have like a real like real. Yeah. Yeah. Mistakes. No one's pulling it up like you can you you you you got drunk. You fell asleep in the fountain.
Starting point is 00:54:38 We'll be do. Now you would be a meme. Yeah. You know, you would get you would get rid of Q before going out with your boys and y'all like all got tore out the frame or whatever. But because of, are you in terms of a comedian? Are you because of cancel culture and because of the things that we cannot say? Are you editing your shit now? Like back in the day, we didn't really have to do that, but now are you more aware of that? I'm aware of it, but I don't want to, I don't want to edit like that.
Starting point is 00:55:04 Like I feel like we're being, I feel like comedians we should be off topic. I don't think we should, that's what we do. Like we're the voice of the culture, we're the voice of what people feel, the pulse of what's going on in the culture. And for us to be, then you're not really Bobby to me. I'm not really Bill Bellamy if I got to be over here
Starting point is 00:55:26 Oh my god if I say this so and so gonna get man if I say I'm gonna say in such a funny way Yeah, hopefully it'll make you laugh and you learn something. Yeah as opposed to me tiptoe And I don't like yeah, but I still see do's though that are being funny, right, but they get in trouble Yeah, like I'm never but I've never been like a sort of like mean or like my comedy ain't really going to do that. Like my comedy makes people crack the fuck up. Like, you know, and it just be like, yo, I never thought of it like that dog.
Starting point is 00:55:58 Like, oh my god. Like, oh my god. Yeah. Like I always think, like I'll give you a prime example of like a topic that I'll talk about. Like what like, like like I'll give you a prime example of like a topic that I talk about. Like what like, like, you know, booty calls, right? So when I created booty call back in the day, the joke came because back then it was really
Starting point is 00:56:14 what we used to do, used to call for the booty. Like, you know, you had a black book or you had a logo, you know, you had your notes, we had roller dexes back there. And you would have to flip, you know, and you had, you know, there's Kim, there's, you know, Stacy. Yeah, and you know, and so when I wrote the joke, I was thinking of it like in real terms, like, okay, this is how guys, you know, search for chicks.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Yeah, yeah. Manual labor. Manual labor, like, you know, you used to get a girl's phone number and you had to remember memorize it right and you'd be like What's your number again say it again? Now it's like a contact is in your phone. We had to work back in the day Wow, and you had to have come up with like mind games to remember her number like yeah 7483 480 or whatever right and so when I did that joke I was doing it in relative to that time.
Starting point is 00:57:07 Cut to now, you're generation, you're just swiping. You're just looking at a person, swiping to the left. You don't even have to know them. You actually have a picture of somebody you don't even know. And we can pull the full descriptor when we save there. So and so, Met here didn't like the way his, you know. He's dank. Well, I'm on the road right now and it's like,
Starting point is 00:57:29 you know, I go, what's your Instagram? And that's as simple as it, then you can see it. Yeah, but that's such an ik if a guy asks me for my socials up front, I'm like, get the fuck outta here, I'm out. Well, that's what they're doing. I'll tell you this, that's what they're doing. Okay. They're going, here's my that's what they're doing. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:45 They're going, here's my Instagram. And I DM them. Okay. Are you reading so hard? Yeah, I don't know what that is. You got it. You got it. There's a more polite way to ask a girl out and ask her Instagram.
Starting point is 00:57:55 Do you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. I've been told to you. Not asking you for your Instagram. First, I think how you do it. Exactly. Like, have a good day. It's gonna be like, oh my god, like.
Starting point is 00:58:04 That's not my first line. So get to know you. You're gonna be like, and be like, I'm like, oh my god. That's how my first line gets to know you a little bit. You're a little bit. And being like, I'm, you know, Bill, that's how my first line. Yeah, Asia. What's your IG? I don't know. I know what your name is.
Starting point is 00:58:13 I want to see you naked, huh? I'm like, I think what's your name? You know, you look like you might look good in the beginning. I know that. Yeah, that's kind of what you say, Ike, you say Ike. Yeah, it's an Ike. Yeah, that's not good. I don't like, well you said it. Yeah, it's an Ike. Yeah, that's not fair. I don't like, well, not upfront.
Starting point is 00:58:27 I could coach you a little bit better. Coach me. Okay, coach. You're crushing. You are crushing in the dating game. You are not crushing. Are you crushing? I think he's crushing.
Starting point is 00:58:36 No, but I'm learning how to do it. Yeah. You were together for 10 years. I didn't know how to do it. You did. When you were you're you're in the single life in your 50s, I'm 51, bro. Oh, that's good. Oh, you look good, bro.
Starting point is 00:58:48 That's not bad. How old are you, man? I'm 56. Damn. You look so fucking good, man. Thank you, you too. If you got it, you need a haircut, but other than that. Other than that.
Starting point is 00:58:59 And I mean, you're fantastic. Oh, thanks, man. You could good bone structure, you like that. I do. You're going to be out there in the streets killing it. Bill, what's it like to have coined the term that everyone's still used to this day? Like booty call, like it's everyone's still used to this.
Starting point is 00:59:14 It's just fun, because that's what it was meant to be. Fun, like, you know, because Bobby will tell you, when we first started doing comedy and stuff, we couldn't, we had to be so crafty to say stuff on TV. So like, you know, you do NBC, you do tonight show, whatever, you could not say nothing, they will not air your shit. So we always had to be clever on how to either say the joke
Starting point is 00:59:36 or so booty call to me was just something you could flavor for a fun bubbly, you know what I mean? So when I was thinking of, I was like, oh my, make me a booty call. Whoa. That I could say a booty call. Oh. Whoa. That, I can see that on TV. Yeah. And you-
Starting point is 00:59:49 Is that like officially in the dictionary? Yeah, yeah. And, and, and girls can see it. It's not nasty. It's not nasty. It's like, oh, I can't think I had a booty call, you know? And when I heard women say it, I knew it was, it was working.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Yeah. Because women were like, oh my God, I, I, I think I had a booty call like, I'm, I'm like, oh. So you I think I had a booty call. Like, oh, you know, I'm like, oh. So you heard it here. Yes. Bill Bellamy came up with the guy that came up with booty call.
Starting point is 01:00:12 That's insane. You coined it. How insane is that? It's crazy. I didn't know it would stick. Like, I remember one day, right? I'd be honest with you. I was just like, wow.
Starting point is 01:00:21 If I knew, you know, I would have patted it and did all this trademark shit, but I didn't know at the time. It was just writing, wow, if I knew, you know, I would have patted it and did all this trademark shit, but I didn't know at the time. It was just writing jokes and shit. When I saw- I was in a bad trademark that though. Like what is it? What is it?
Starting point is 01:00:32 It would be residual money for everything branded. Everything, right? Yeah, because like Taco Bell did Foodie call that. Oh. Oh. Oh. Yeah. Foodie call was a movie.
Starting point is 01:00:44 There's so many different things that they derivative. You fucked up. I fucked up. And so the crazy part was when I was watching Fred. I wrote it on Happy Birthday. Hey. Do you know what the, you missed out?
Starting point is 01:00:56 I missed out, dude. Happy birthday to my jam, dude. That's your jam. Yeah, dude. Happy birthday to you. And the only word, you only word that I didn't write is because of the little space when you say the guy's name.
Starting point is 01:01:09 Yes, the part you miss. Yeah, well, I mean, that's, I left that open so that you can put in your jack, feel or jot, or whatever. You are, you are kind. You're kind of. That's cool, Joe. I was clever on my part, Bob.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Very clever. Yeah. When I was watching friends, and they had it in the script, I was just like, I just heard them say it. I was like, this is the whitest, most popular show ever. And it said, oh my God, I had a booty call last night. And I was like, what? Whoa.
Starting point is 01:01:36 That was crazy. So if you had trademarked, they give you something for that. Oh, every time, every time you say it. Would they use something different? They're like, oh, we don't want to. You can't even fix it, because you can't think of nothing that sounds better than booty call. Every time you say it. Would they use something different? Or they're like, oh, we don't want to. You can't even fix it. Because you can't think of nothing that sounds better than booty call.
Starting point is 01:01:48 That's true, dude. Because it just says it. It's what it is. It's like telephone. What is you going to say? Yeah. It's telephone. That's a telephone.
Starting point is 01:01:54 It's like fucking crazy. Because it's saying it without saying it's like, bam, right in the pocket. And then the funny part was, it backfired on me too. Because when I was single, and I would have somebody come over, whatever, and just chicks me, like, am I a booty car always this like? And am I like,
Starting point is 01:02:14 am I gonna see you again, or am I a booty car? Like I always had to go through that shit, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, whoa. You spent the night, you did good. Do you ever, I like, I got to tell people, when people didn't believe that you came up with it, wherever you're at, I'm the night, you did good. Do you ever, I like, I tell people, when people didn't believe that you came up with it, wherever you're at, I'm not. No, no, people know.
Starting point is 01:02:29 Especially comedians. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Comedians know, shit like that. But people that just got it caught it in the culture, like caught it off a TV day, not gonna go backwards and find it. They just go know what it is and say it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:40 That's what it is. That's incredible. What's a trip, right? So I did um, um, what's a trip, right? So I did this movie called How to Be a Player, right? Yeah. How to be a player is mentioned. My name is mentioned on so many hip hop records because of that movie.
Starting point is 01:02:57 Wow. I just saw Nicki Minaj did a song and it was like, what you trying to tell me, you ain't no player, you ain't Bill Bellamy. Oh, I love Nicky. Oh, Nicky, thank you, boo boo. Oh my God. So many different ways they are.
Starting point is 01:03:11 It is like, how do you know what you're going to do in the culture? Like, how the hell you gonna know which thing, which joke is your like landmark? How you know which movie role is going to be the one that knocks you into like legendary status? You never know. You have never come up with anything better hurry up.
Starting point is 01:03:31 I haven't come up with nothing. That's sort of my corn corn corn corn yeah corn yeah but that's not in part of the fucking culture culture. Medtive what I'm saying what he he's saying, what Bill's saying. I have to nothing. You and my fear is like moving forward and like dating, you know, after you is that the association between just Bobby and Kaliila
Starting point is 01:03:56 is very strong. And like, I don't know if anyone can like compete with that. You guys are like, you guys are interesting. I know because I was with the girl. Because it's like, you know what's so interesting? I don't even know y'all like this. I know Bobby, but I don't know you. What's interesting is, you guys dated for 10 years, right?
Starting point is 01:04:18 How many years you've been broke up? One. Okay, here is the most interesting thing that I think you guys should, you guys should do a show based on the, just the complexity of that because we're not together but we're together but we're not. You know what I mean? You're like sunny and share or some shit. Yeah. And so, but what's cool about her is she really knows you. Yeah. And it's like your best friend kind of thing. Yeah, and She she accepts you to be who you are and it's kind of beautiful to watch like this And you have a respect for her in a way that's so insane. Yeah
Starting point is 01:04:56 Do you know to me? Yeah, he got that from not knowing every girl that I tried to link up with the bring your name up They go as go well I mean, you know, I'm a huge fan of Kalala too. It's so weird. And I'm like, oh yeah. Yeah, it's like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Her, she is like, damn, it's so hard.
Starting point is 01:05:15 It's so hard. Can I just say how I feel? Yeah, go with whatever you want. She is the perfect game to your game. Oh god, man. This is not helping me. No, but what I'm saying is, and just the, I'm an energy guy, right?
Starting point is 01:05:32 So with the energy I am, because you're like this, shh. Chaos. Yeah. Straight tsunami. Tsunami, yeah. Tsunami. You tsunami.
Starting point is 01:05:42 I'm coming, I'm coming. You come in, you come in, you come in in hard, and you might swirl left and might swirl right there. What's cool about her is she centers it, right? So I like how you guys are able to be funny together. You guys are like, the show is definitely has to have both of you guys. You're right.
Starting point is 01:05:59 It's like it can't exist without both of you guys. You guys just have this great. Thanks Bill. I think, I'm sure you know your other chicks don't want to hit it. You're the shit. No, she is the shit. You're the shit.
Starting point is 01:06:11 And you're a good person and you're like warm. Like there's this, it's like a warm energy about it. Yeah, I know. And you seem like you take your time and you think about what you're gonna say. Thank you Bill. I appreciate that. And also like worth saying, like, I really want what you're gonna say. Thank you, Bill. I appreciate that. And also, like, worth saying, like,
Starting point is 01:06:26 I really want Bobby to find someone great. And I hope that I'm somebody she can have in her life as like an accessory to knowing him better. But that's, I mean, what you, you to cheat, Co. You could, you could help her. I think so too. You could be like, if she's not intimidated by you, you could be like, bitch, I can help you.
Starting point is 01:06:43 I really could. Like, I can tell you how Bobby is and you can help. And you and Bobby's could have a great relationship and I can be your um, counselor. Sounding board. Soundboard. Yeah. Because you probably had in 10 years, you went through the shit with him. I did. Yeah. But what's sucks is is that like when I'm with a new person and when I'm trying to meet somebody, I always compare them to her. She's so great. It's difficult. Yeah, but you know, here's why you shouldn't compare them to me because we didn't work
Starting point is 01:07:12 out. Maybe something that who she is. That's different. That's very different for me. Might work out better for you. Do you understand what I'm saying? Well, just take the good stuff out. So like, Kalala, take the good bookmarks. Do, do, do, do, do, do, because those things that work for you, those are good book out. So like Kalala, take the good bookmarks,
Starting point is 01:07:25 do, do, do, do, do, do, do, because those things that work for you, those are good bookmarks. It might not be the entirety, but the good bookmarks, because you want that in your life, right? So then you take the four or five great bookmarks that you'd really like,
Starting point is 01:07:38 and then you make sure you remember those, and then you build on those, because in relationships, there has to be like, you know what I mean? Because we're all not the same, and we kind of got a gel and we move, and you know what I mean? But like what I like that I feel though, is there's an understanding here somehow.
Starting point is 01:07:56 Okay. Yeah. I got you. I'm sorry. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I'm sorry, but I feel like, I feel like I love you, never could tell you. I know, so we can't just say this. Other people have said the same thing, right? So it's like, I get it, but I feel like, Bobby, I feel like I love you and never could tell you. I know so, because I just say this,
Starting point is 01:08:05 other people have said the same thing, okay? So it's like, I get it, you know, I love her so much. Just Kona. I'm gonna call her. I hate you. Yeah, I got my own mother fucker, the land of baby. She coming here bitch or you? You.
Starting point is 01:08:21 You know, I never be so funny. I wanna be honest. I can't, you know, honestly, I'm the hour that we sat here. I thought to myself, how come, I'm not friends with this guy. This guy, you're a cool dude, man. Thank you too, man.
Starting point is 01:08:33 I can't believe you haven't done this podcast before. I did it because of you. All right. I always liked you, Barbie. I like you. I like you. You always give good energy. Like I always see you, I can see you at LaFactory this. All right. You're like,
Starting point is 01:08:48 bellow me. Bellow me. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Okay. But you're always in the quick burst. I do quick bursts. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You know, stick around it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I nut and I leave. You nut and you go. Yeah, yeah. That's my number. Nothing called. Booty call. I buddy call. But socially. But you have to, Bob, you have to get my book.
Starting point is 01:09:14 You gotta read it. Or maybe the audiobook might be better, because it's so fun. Yeah, no, I'm gonna talk. Because I do it like, you're doing that, I'm doing it. Okay, now you're gonna be cracking up and I'm gonna go in my voice and whatever. So what's the book of God?
Starting point is 01:09:25 It's top billing stories. Check out top billing, Goddard, lessons and triumph. And it's just really a great ride. Like how our conversation is today, I'm so happy I did this for you guys because you guys are like amazing, man. Congrats on the book, Bill.
Starting point is 01:09:39 This looks really cool. That looks so fucking good, does it? Yeah, and it's about like just pushing through, man. Like never giving up on yourself. I had a lot of back setbacks in my life. I lost my mom, dad, brother. Like it was just crushing, you know what I mean? And you still gotta figure out how to get through it and laugh
Starting point is 01:09:57 and take one day at a time. You know what I mean? Like with David Arnold, somebody, very person's a Bob Sackie, you know? Like these guys are good people, you know, you don't know why things happen. You know, like, well, you know, let's do the best we can while we can.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Like what people like you, you guys, be best to friends, like work together, forgive each other, you know, say you're sorry sometimes. You know, we don't get it right, we'll get right. We'll get right, we'll get right. You know, but like, let's leave love in the game. Yeah. get it right. I'll get right. Yeah, you know and but like let's leave love in the game Yeah, I love that. I love me. It's not bad. Is there any movies and stuff you want to plug the coming on? Yeah, oh, so August
Starting point is 01:10:36 2023 we got back to the strip. It is Wesley Snipes Kevin Hart Tiffany had it Love JP move Kevin Hart Tiffany had it. It's not a whole thing. It's a whole thing. Love, JB, move. Holy fuck. I love him. It's like, baby, us, well, everything. Everything. You always, you always, you always make me laugh. I love JB.
