Oh, it's a great life when two three welcome to Tiger Belly. Whoo. My name is Bobby Lee and I have Kaleila and I have Gilby and Um, what a exciting week because this coming Saturday. I get to see a leprechaun die And I've never seen a leprechaun actually
Starting point is 00:01:05 Die, you know, I mean, I know they're in charge of rainbows and they have a little pot of gold and I know that they um The Jennifer Aniston plays with them. Yes, she does and they built the railroads are here in America right with the Irish and And that Conor McGregor is gonna die this Saturday, and I feel really bad for him, but um Just talks a lot of shit and um, you know what it's gonna be a very exciting fight I'm a really I'm really like I feel the same way about this fight as I did with the Pacquiao. Um, Was it with a weather? That's his name. I Hate him so much. I won't even memorize his name, you know, but um, I know a lot of listeners
Starting point is 00:01:50 Don't even know what the fuck we're talking about and it comes in terms of fighting, but um It's it's it's a what I think it's a once-in-a-lifetime event. It really is even if you're not a fan of MMA I would suggest Going to someone's home or going to a bar and actually watching this particular fight card. Yeah, I I also want to talk about how grateful I am. It was Thanksgiving and we had a good time and We're about to see my parents. Wait, we haven't um recorded since Thanksgiving. I Don't know how we yeah, we have. Yeah, sweetie. Thanksgiving was like two weeks ago. It was no blends. It was two weeks ago You and I've had a blurry week though. Are we not we wait we see the reason the reason it's about eight nine in the morning
Starting point is 00:02:34 And then we don't wake up till 5 p.m. And then all of a sudden your days are lost and then you're like, I'm a vampire It's true. What day do you think it is today? I don't even know He just knows that we have to drive to Arizona tomorrow. That's all I know, you know and um With a raging fever. Yeah, I'm sick too right now everybody, but you can't catch it through the mic So you're fine. I don't feel well. Um, I Um, I try to convince Steve burn today to get the Kim's a comedy back together. And what did he say? I Think I planted a seed. Okay, so if you were to Kim Kim's a comedy It would be you would I'm Ken Jeong be up for it
Starting point is 00:03:13 Yes, and then you Steve burn and you would still have like two other Asians to you. No Kevin Shea. I Don't even know who that is to me He's like um, he's like Ringo. He doesn't he's not needed Did we get any other drama? We can get any other drummer really did Ringo ever write a song? He wrote I think yellow submarine and octopus's garden, you know the kid shit But I met Ringo once he was really nice. He really was I met him I can't tell you how I met him, but I didn't meet him and he was a very kind hearted Um, why can't you say how I'll come on Gilbert. Come on read situations. Do you Gilbert? Oh?
Starting point is 00:03:51 What is it you think I don't know He go oh he went all like he knew I've acted as the audience so we're all like oh Yeah, yeah, but um Kevin Shea I'm gonna talk about Kevin Shea Kevin Shea is a very talented um stand-up comic. He was adopted by white people. He's Korean and he It's funny, but I just don't get along with him and he has done so many vile things in front of me Just to embarrass me. Oh
Starting point is 00:04:30 Main spirited. Yeah, he's he's he has a hatred toward me So when he gets drunk it comes out in these weird way ways like I'll be at the improv and then he'll just come up and go Hey Ken just did six movies. What have you done? Nothing and they'll just walk away. Oh Yeah, and then one day he did that I was with a bunch of people and I kind of went I walked up to hey You want to talk about it outside? He goes no so then he went into the showroom and I walked up to him in the showroom I go hey you want to talk about outside because this is gonna stop and he pushed me. Why is he so intent on? Treating you like this like what what happened, you know
Starting point is 00:05:07 Well, I already talked about on Steve Burns podcast, but what happened was um Well, let's backtrack a little bit is I don't care what anyone says like it was my green light They got him in the fucking Kim's in the first place. Okay, let's start in the very very beginning Who's idea was Kim's a comedy Steve burn? Mm-hmm. It was Barry Katz Steve burn was Barry Katz was managing Steve burn Steve and I and Ken came up with that. We wanted a fourth guy We had a discussion and it was a green light to Kevin Shay I there was no thought about it in my head. I think that he's a really good writer. He's very funny He's a voice. He's a he has a different point of view than all of us
Starting point is 00:05:44 You know, I mean Ken and I were both raised by Koreans Steve is half and Kevin is adopted I thought that was just a cool. So you brought Kevin on Yeah, I think it was mostly me but in retrospect, but um regardless. I green-lit it, you know, and um We got him in the tours and he just has this Resentment because of the fact that I got paid more But you brought him on not only that is it more credit those who Kevin Shay is yeah It's like you the guy with the most credits and who's gonna put more Asses on those seats gets paid the most. Not only that is if I ever do the Kim's again. He's out
Starting point is 00:06:22 If I do any kind of tour he's out, but guess who's in babe? Oh Gilbert because of his disrespect You know, I mean, that's all and I hate to talk about another person that way But that's pretty foul though if someone came up to me and said what he said more than one incidents uppercut He's done that and it's it's like it's you that's so yeah He physically pushed me and it's like, you know, it's like That's some white. He's a really funny guy. He's a great writer. He's a talented guy and I wish him the best But he crossed the line with Papa How old is he now don't cross the line with Papa guys he's probably in his mid 30s
Starting point is 00:07:05 But you know what I think that we saw him at the comedy store in the entrance when a few weeks ago And he didn't say a word to you. He's still a comic. Yeah, I've never seen him on anything Well, he's still the stand-up. Oh, yeah, you know, what's crazy is that like I've literally Never heard of him up until I met you and I thought I was pretty familiar with most comics And I had never his face and even it wasn't familiar to me. I don't even know what his voice sounds like Nothing, I've never seen him on anything. You have to okay people say to me about You know that I'm not I Don't play the social game
Starting point is 00:07:43 That well like to go to a party and to mingle it up, you know but there still needs to be a degree of civility, you know and a Work sense, you know and He just doesn't have it and I think that that's his biggest problem. That's just my opinion I might be completely wrong But he just doesn't have that ability to like, you know, I mean, you do you think he's not likable there? Let me tell you something. Yeah, there are people That are like, I know that aren't really friends of mine. They're they kind of bother me in terms of just their personalities or whatever
Starting point is 00:08:21 But it's like I play a political game, you know, I mean, so it's like, you know, I'll say hi to them I'll you know, they want to do things creatively. I'll Engage, you know, but that's just in every that's not even in Hollywood. Yeah, it's life in every workplace Whether you're a firefighter or a nurse an engineer a comedian It's like look different, you know clashes the personalities and characters You have to know how to Function in a social setting and to not step on, you know toes or to not be inappropriate. That's just how you function Yeah, like when I was a kid and I open for Pauly Shore, he would do things like put his penis on my face and the tour bus
Starting point is 00:09:00 Like I'll be in this tour bus and then his penis will be on my forehead And you know, I'm a young guy, you know, I mean, he's a very big penis by the way by the bar. Yeah, how big it's in a twists Oh, yeah, it's like a roller coaster. Oh, it's a hook up hook down hook left hook right. It's left and right Yeah, it's like a new ride at I'm Six Flags. It's like I'm going up down and then loopy loop, you know It's like it's a whole thing and then it's basically an octopus It's an octopus and there's also in his penis has so many veins. It's like Jesus, man I know it's like how many veins are in that vein? Millions. So he's got a varicose penis. Yeah, it's crazy, but it's also nicely colored. I mean, it's nicely colored
Starting point is 00:09:47 Speaking of Pauly Shore, my roommate said that he told Pauly like, oh my roommate does a podcast with Bobby Lee So Pauly was like, you know what? We're gonna do our own podcast now and compete against mine Yeah, he has his own podcast. He probably has a podcast. I did it right now. Yeah. Yeah, they're doing another one I did what I did it once with him. And what's his name? Oh, Fred Durst Yeah, wait, can I you can talk about it problem with Fred Durst I did a photo with Fred Durst and Pauly. I put it on Instagram. Yeah, and she's like you got to yank that out I texted him beef with him. I don't have beef with him I just thought that it was like 90s has been and I was like, no, do you don't want to be associated with that?
Starting point is 00:10:29 I just thought that it was like a like if we I was his PR person or if I was his manager I'd be like, it's not a good look just take it down and I know that sounds really gross but I was just trying more to Protect Bobby and in retrospect, I feel really guilty for doing that because I was like whoa like, you know Even though I'm not a fan of limp biscuit. I mean, he still does, you know Fred Fred is also just I you know I don't know much about that type of music. That's fine. I'm kind of artsy-fartsy about that shit But it's like he's a really nice guy and he's really funny He really is he's nice. He's funny and every time I've ever met that guy. I've only had very good feelings
Starting point is 00:11:10 I think my thing was when I was when I was going to school in UNLV. Yeah in the Early to know it was like mid-2000s and this little biscuit was still really really big and I remember when rehab The pool at the hard rock was like this huge huge thing and he would frequent there And I remember having a fake ID and like going to the pool parties and whatnot And I just always remember him looking just an acting really like just Slimy rock star, but he's a rock star. Yeah, I know I know and it's fine like that's a life of a rock star It's like, you know booze and tits, but I think that that's always that impression always stayed with me
Starting point is 00:11:51 And I was always like, oh like I don't know I I have to admit though in when I first came to America the first two CDs that my mom Bought me were kid rock and the biscuit because she didn't know any better and she wanted to sort make us more like American eyes Yeah, it's so weird cuz she cuz my sister and I used to go to Penny Lane a lot and we used to we used to actually like we listened to a lot of rage and listen to a lot of like Like off-bands that weren't mainstream, right? Yeah, but my mom thought that oh, no We need to help our kids be a little bit more like American transition better have him stop singing Filipino songs So she bought us this big purple boombox and she bought us kid rock and live biscuit and to to
Starting point is 00:12:35 Honor and thank my mom. We listened to those CDs over and over again So I basically know every single word of that Limp is so at times there was a time in your life where you liked it. I yeah, okay Well, then then in itself, I'm gonna put you know what dude? I'm gonna fucking put that photo back on. Yeah I don't know where it is. I'm putting that photo back on baby because the thing is is that you know, I mean He's a nice guy. I've always regretted taking it down, right and I'm gonna do it And you know what even if I am a has been I'm a has been no look I I I already said I shouldn't have made you pull it down. That was really a shallow of me
Starting point is 00:13:13 Even better. You have to put it on your Instagram Yeah, hey guys, I took this picture. These are my friends No, thanks hashtag blessed Paul Carlos Macia made me Carry his golf clubs and stuff to the airport and then I remember have to going to going to his house Before going to a gig and picking up his merch in these boxes. I hated it Didn't you go to like Guatemala or like Honduras with him? He took me to Honduras with him. That's where he's from. I Thought his name was Ned and he was a German. He's he's not Mexican
Starting point is 00:13:50 Well, Bobby would know come on Gilbert. We know nothing Gilbert look at me right now. Okay, sorry His name is Ted Ned holdness. Okay, Ned holdness is his name. Okay. Okay, Mitsy sure Paulie's mom gave them the name Carlos Macia. Oh, she named him. Yes. He didn't want to be called that. Oh Right. In fact, she did a lot of name changes with people Like John Caparillo who was on Chelsea lately with me, you know, she changed his name to John campy So he had to go up as John campy for a couple years. So it wasn't his choice then. No, the one and the one day John Can't be Caparillo goes fuck it. I'm not doing it again And he he went to the thing that was already printed out and just changed it and he kept changing it
Starting point is 00:14:34 And then eventually Mitsy went senile. Did she try to ever change your name? No, but she thought I was Peter Chen for like three years They know Peter Chen is You guys all right All right You have to okay So when I first came to LA in every city in every city, especially in the 80s, right? When comedy was, you know, I mean really at its boom Every city had a Chinese dude or an Asian dude that wanted to do comedy
Starting point is 00:15:04 And they would get labs just based because of the fact that they have an accent or whatever So you had Peter Chen in in San Diego. There was a guy named Wally Wong, you know, I mean I mean, yeah, there's a bunch of them. Wow. And they just they're just these meekish You know Asian guys that don't deserve or should be on stage I mean, you can you can go up on stage and Wally's a nice guy and I feel bad for saying that but he's not the greatest comic in the country. You know, I mean Peter Chen Really weird very aggressive but also just a bizarre like his
Starting point is 00:15:40 Comebacks in the audience. He made a mob and they're they don't make any sense I'll give you an example, right? If you don't be quiet. I want to put you on the rocket ship and send you to the moon That's what his that was a sentence. That was a sentence. Yeah, that's what like if someone heckled that was one of his comebacks So like let's say let's say I'm on stage. All right, so anyway, yes, you hug on me So anyway, my mom is a ching chong. Hey, if you don't be quiet, I'm gonna put you on a rocket ship and send you to the moon You got me Right and so there's a documentary on YouTube that Peter Chen himself Made with other poor comics on they're going. Yeah, he's great or whatever. Oh, man
Starting point is 00:16:28 You have to look it up Peter. Oh, yes, the documentary documentary. Yeah, look up. I have seen it When number we ran into him, where do we run at the arc light at the arc light and he goes oppy. I agree. Hey Peter and he goes Hey, I wrote a script. Maybe, you know, because you're doing well now, you know, you could help me get it made And of course I went. Oh, yeah, sure. No, never. He's so cute. You're so cute. Peter. What's it called? You go to a rocket Rocketbone Okay, so tell us about Carlos taking you to Honduras So one day goes, hey fucker, you know, you're gonna go to Honduras. I go my village and we We took three planes to get there. Damn
Starting point is 00:17:09 Then we went on a canoe. I kid you not To get to the village There's no lights. There's no electricity. We're I had to I had to what do you call it row? Yes. I'm a rowing. Oh Wow, yeah, I'm 2627 and I'm a rowing. You're me. Yeah, I'm you right and then the whole time it's dark and then you can see like carcasses of like animals in the water And you can hear like monkey like weird animals in in the distance and I'm like I'm gonna get a pole. I'm gonna die and
Starting point is 00:17:45 Then you know who the only only other thing that I heard was Albert Carlos's brother's fiance Uh-huh crying the whole way To the canoe. Why cuz she's from LA. She's never been out of the country. She's scared shitless Yeah, and I'm going I'm like sweating it was awful as soon as we get to the do we see a man on a Pier like a wooden like makeshift pier with a fucking porch. It's not a flashlight It's like a fucking you would do black and cherry. It's a fire or whatever. It's like a like a lamp, but like no It was a stick on fire Actual just like yeah, yeah, it was a Indiana Jones stick fire, right?
Starting point is 00:18:31 Temple of doom shit. Yeah, Tiki torch. Yeah, then we go and we walk a mile into town, right? There's no electricity, right? No running water and I'm in a hut for a month Why wait why a month because that's how we wanted to be out there for and I got real animalistic a weekend. I was walking around the village naked like kids following me around They probably loved you though. Oh, yeah, I was you know, they did it. They thought I was like a mutated ponder They've never seen TV. They've never seen an Asian. They thought I was like a godlike figure Oh, that's great, right? And I remember like laying on a raft like a wooden raft in the lake going
Starting point is 00:19:09 I'm gonna live here forever because I've never felt that kind of peace before. Oh, so I had mosquito bites all over my butthole It was awful and we they skewered a pig at five in the morning one morning So like, you know Carlos, you know was raised in that, you know, and then in high school his uncle and aunt adopted him and he came to LA went to school here and the age of 19 he did stand up and And he stole a bunch of jokes and it became famous Damn, I mean his story is remarkable and I still do this day. I just want to say
Starting point is 00:19:48 to this day What what you know what Carlos did, you know is It's not defendable. It's not and I tried to defend them back in the day. Oh, yeah, what the video I know why did you go? Oh, yeah, like that because you did. I think it was obvious. Why'd you say like that though? I didn't say like that. I'm gonna do it again. So, you know, I mean, I did defend them at one point rocket moon Rocket moon and um, but but he he was a great performer Yeah, you can't really is a great performer. I didn't like that That video that he put out where he
Starting point is 00:20:29 Admits to stealing all the jokes. Do you see that one? No, and it's like really aggressive. He's like, so what? Yeah, I steal the jokes. What the fuck are you gonna do? I do it better He tries to almost like just own it and it comes off It was just an awful awful move whoever allowed him whoever said, okay, yeah, that sounds like a good idea Needs to like he needs to remove them from his life The good news for him in his life is I mean, it's not good, but it's like the good news is that he he made a shitload of money Oh, yeah, you mean and so but he still goes on a road and he still makes money You still makes money on the road. I have a question for you. Yeah, okay
Starting point is 00:21:09 So a guy like Carlos Macea who's just like the public basically has turned their backs on him and it's you know Is it is it's is it's something so Unforgivable that even if he were to come up with his own new material and come up back-to-back with three original Specials that were so just undeniably good. Is it something that we just cannot forgive at this point anymore? Well, it would almost have to be endorsed by Joe You know almost how we have to be endorsed by Joe and Bill Burr and people like that For it to go to for him to redeem himself. Okay. This is what I would do if I were his his people Yeah, I would want to work towards
Starting point is 00:21:54 Apologizing to the comedy community in a way that's sincere and genuine and starts from scratch Hire a good four or five really young good writers pay him well and come up with just one solid undeniable Special but the thing is he can write he did come up with bits that was his was his own You know, it's just mixed in with so many other people's stuff that he the thing is is this if I if I was him This is what I would do. I Would come up with an hour all on my own my my hour my specific voice Then I would call Joe. I would really want and listen dude. I'm so sorry. I was a thief for many years You really helped me see my you know, see what do you call it? My error my mistakes and
Starting point is 00:22:41 um, I Have a new hour that I wrote. I spent years working on it and I just want you to see it, you know, and If it incorporated it, you know his emitting Just dealing but also, you know do it clever and also talk about his Fertilities as a human being, you know, I mean and how he's an opportunist. Yeah, and then and then if someone like Joe and some other people stamped it as wow, that's really good stuff then I think that that could do it, you know, but
Starting point is 00:23:12 He has to do something like that. Do you think that the comedy community would forgive him? I think this listen, I mean him and Eddie Griffin and certain people and dice But dice is its own thing, but back in the 90s if you were a regular at the comedy store and you got a spot Right, let's say I had a spot at 945 on a Tuesday. You know what that meant. I'm not going up Oh, okay, you know why because you had five or six guys That would just show up and they would bump everyone on the lineup and they would do two hours And there was no manager or anybody saying that they can't do that And it was completely like ego star driven and then when Tommy came although he had his own problems
Starting point is 00:23:59 He changed all that, you know, he said you have to call in you can't go over the light and If you do you're not getting a spot Eric Eddie Griffin was banned from the club because of that fucking behavior dice start stop showing up You know, I mean, although I love dice and you know, but And because I mean they did it because they were obviously allowed to do it for a very long time And see I did it. Oh my god He would do two three hours and it was like and as a young comic like forget it It's like you're a regular, but you're not gonna going up. I had to go up at two in the morning
Starting point is 00:24:34 You know, damn. Yeah, if you had a 945 spot ask anybody You had to go up at two in the morning or you didn't go up at all So you would you would literally go you would go they would call you got a spot Tuesday Wednesday at 945 So you'd go. Oh, so I'm not going up They're like, well, we'll see which means you're not gonna. Yeah So it's like it was a really bad time for comedy back then, but Carlos was a part of that, you know So he has a lot of amends to make but I like I've said publicly I
Starting point is 00:25:06 Personally love him and he's done so many good things for me that it's like very difficult me to chastise him But I I do, you know and what he did was wrong And I think that your your take on it is just really factual. You're looking at it in a very Logical way you're seeing your your yeah, he was your friend He made some awful awful mistakes, and that's it But it doesn't take away all the good things that he did for you, but you know Yeah, don't ever be like that Gilbert. Let's deal jokes not that you know what it is too. I think the times have changed You cannot
Starting point is 00:25:47 Do that anymore fat Jewish? It's not not that just that even it's like being a star is so ambiguous now, right that like back then There was no reality star. What was that? It's like you either did movies your TV show you did some sort of a life's talented Stand-up, but now it's like so many different so many different formats so many ways of Making it that it's like you cannot behave like that In an egocentric maniacal way, you know, you have to You know, it's either change or get out, you know, and I've luckily I've never been really like that, you know
Starting point is 00:26:28 I think okay. Here's my thing. Yeah, I have a question for you I was going on a run the other day with Jessica, and we thought about this Your reputation like how do you think people see you as a comedian and do they think that you're dirty? Do you think you're somebody who's just like, you know, nothing to hide this open sort of irreverent guy who just spills all his like life details, right? Do you think that that's more freeing or do you wish that you didn't give so much of yourself and that you were taken more of like a serious actor? Not a serious actor, but you were taken more people would would see you or perceive you as a more of a serious type of like We don't really know what he's about. We only know his comedy mystery. You mean Yeah, I mean like for instance like someone who's a who's a big big give me an example like a big star
Starting point is 00:27:18 Like he doesn't have a podcast. Give me example Brad Pitt. No, that's just that's something that's too big Let's see comedy star that Um Brett Moran Yeah, for even someone like that, right? Yeah, where they're like there he has he's on undatable now He's on an NBC show NBC show Does it There's so much about you. That's just out there like in a sense, you know, Dave Cho calls it like unblack maleable, right?
Starting point is 00:27:46 Yeah, there's nothing that someone can hold over your head because I'd rather be like that I'd rather be like that or would you rather retract all of that? Yeah, I mean ultimately now it's too late. So it's like this question is it could be the wrong road But it's like listen, I didn't even want to do that at all until I did open Anthony Because the thing is is that before opening Anthony, I never did any podcast I never talked to the media at all in any kind of level. Oh When I would do radio, I would do bits like up from my act
Starting point is 00:28:19 You know, I mean and that just so I could sell tickets or I wasn't funny at all and what happened was the first time did open Anthony I walked in and there was Norton and oh be Anthony and I think it was Patrice maybe rich boss and I was really intimidated. I Was really intimidated. I walked in I got all the C's are these are the New York Heavyweights, you know, I did it and they I felt like they were doing prank on me And then I had a panic attack. I sweated. I almost cried and I ran out of theater I don't know if you know that I ran out of the studio Yeah, they were like laughing and
Starting point is 00:29:00 I left Then the next year they asked me back and then it was then I'm like, I'm not gonna do that again So I just started like, you know, instead so they did wouldn't make fun of me I would just reveal things. Oh, I see. You know, I mean and they loved it and They laughed I gotta I gotta say that I knew you from that TV and I knew you from some movies here and there, right? Yeah, I never appreciated you as a comedian or as an Entertainer at all until it's his life
Starting point is 00:29:35 I couldn't I couldn't it wasn't until I heard I saw you do stand up in person I didn't even like what I saw on the internet There's so much of your energy that's felt when you're in a room with Bobby and he's just a funny person to stand in front of And until I heard you on the Joe Rogan podcast when you were a little bit more candid when you're a little bit more yourself And I was like, oh my god, this guy's hilarious But previous to that because of the characters that you played it wasn't I you couldn't tell who you really were You were just some funny asian guy on tv or whatever I'm not doing that anymore. And also doesn't do it. It doesn't serve me
Starting point is 00:30:11 That doesn't serve me. It's like I'm gonna tell you right now. I had moments on mad I don't and I'm gonna say this because people make fun of me like you did oh hot dog And you did all these things right, but I did things on there that I literally thought in my head when I was doing I'm like, this is really good work. I really did and now people can say well, you've never done anything That's fine, right, but in my head and I literally Remember I did things that I don't think that especially anyone of my type could do all right in terms of like
Starting point is 00:30:45 Energy level and physicality and all that stuff And I literally thought you know what I'm going to become big And it never happened It never happened and I I was on like I'm the I'm asian fully immigrant parents I was on a sketch show for eight years in america, you know, I mean like when did that ever happen?
Starting point is 00:31:08 Right, but I never got any praise for it. No one ever said anything And so I just thought you know what I'm just gonna be myself Fuck this I'm because I'm I don't expecting anything from the business I'm just gonna be myself. I'm happy I'm in the moment. I'm fine. I'm completely fucking fine So it's like I think that it it it saved me almost, you know, I mean me not making it Or not pretending to be anything other than yourself. Yeah, I'm myself and is listen. I'm 100%
Starting point is 00:31:42 I feel like I'm a good person. I really do I I feel I feel for humanity when bad things happen in this world And I I I know what my character defects are. I have many And I'm not the best, you know, I mean a complete like, you know Human being but I'm trying, you know, and it's like I'm fine I know who I am. I'm fine and I've done some fucking dark shit and I'm not gonna hide from it you know
Starting point is 00:32:14 That's it and it's you know, I know it's this podcast right now. I'm talking a lot. I'm sorry No, no, no, no, I like it's good for people to hear it is your podcaster. Why it's not no No, no, this is not my podcast some days. It'll be more you some days This is a listen when I first when we first did this You wanted to do it I didn't want to do one. Oh really you had no desire I mean, I wanted to do with Eric Griffin a year ago with all things comedy and stuff But then we went to the studios and then he got busy and then
Starting point is 00:32:44 But then Colila wanted to do one. So she did one by myself by herself and I kind of guessed on it What? But in my head, it just seemed like the right fit. I'm like Working together 24 seven, right? I have the ability to get all this equipment and stuff and do it I can't kick her out the house. I can't kick her out of the house and We needed a third component and you were like literally I sort of fucking God I thought that you were a fucking douchebag Just by a look alone. Just a look alone. Yeah, you do dress a little prep fairy
Starting point is 00:33:15 This fair this Filipino fairy in my house tweeting around, you know, I mean he brought us beacle I know but listen, I mean look if we don't get offended But I really believe and this is and this is the first and last confident You'll ever fucking hear from me. Is that you were the perfect fit? You're really because you're super talented. Thank you And you know how happy he is that you are talented because for a while there He was like, well, what does he bring what does he feels like he told me he's like We won the lottery with Gilbert because we won the third guy. Isn't just our third guy. He's legitimately
Starting point is 00:33:50 Fucking talented and we only I only we only said yes to you because you're the only one that wanted to do it Yeah, because we considered somebody else you did. I said no for like a month You did because I was because he really didn't know how to operate By the way, I'm not a sound engineer So if you guys have complaints about sounds, I mean you can direct it his way, but he you can't why do you want to do it then? She asked she's like I was like, I need a friend to do it. I was like, cool I needed a friend. So the first day that we recorded offer that you were offering like me money too I was like, can I just do it out the money? That's weird. Okay here. Look because I'm not white with the first two episodes
Starting point is 00:34:25 I said it. Oh, you know what I will say this I will do your credit to your credit Gilbert. I offered this the third mic to somebody else But he would not do it for free And I was like, like he went a lot of money and I was like, wow, well, we still owe him money, by the way Yeah, yeah, yeah, but um But when you came on I look I I know how to record and hit record So the first two episodes that we did Were we had to scratch because my computer freaked out and it shut down on us like mid-recording
Starting point is 00:35:00 And I was like, look, I can't that can't be something if I'm going to be if I want to speak clearly and without worry during a recording I need a third person to just make sure my the program doesn't crash Mid-recording. So that's what that's what the only job requirement was for you to just sit there and look at the computer Right. Yeah, and then now you know how to edit Now you know how to use audition. Now, you know, how do you know add music to podcasts and do all those fancy things A lot about your guy's sexual life. Yeah Can you give us um, can you give us a fallout update bobby? Where you are anyone that everyone anyone that that's in the video games and and likes the game fallout 4
Starting point is 00:35:41 I I'm going to give it a grade right now and the grade is a b-plus There's a lot of glitches in it But they did something it's it's much like fallout 3 and new vegas But they did something a little different. There is a A sim a simulation You mean quality to it They added a feature where you build buildings and you you and people just show up It's kind of like a sims game
Starting point is 00:36:08 Yeah, people just show up and they just start living in these towns that you Build and there's trade routes and there's um You can tell people what to do like you farm and then you you know You take care of the store and you dictate you set up turrets I really like that aspect of it. Like it's like it's fun. I like building things and seeing what the Game will allow me to do and I've created some really interesting looking buildings and stuff and it's a lot of fun You know and I even have fun watching it He has he swam to an island called spectacle island and he built this huge mansion
Starting point is 00:36:43 Overlooking the ocean and he adopted a second dog And well, no, that's my that's my summer home on specter. Highland. I have my original home is um at a lighthouse Over all the the two dogs and my girl. I have a I've created a girl. Is it kalai? It's a love though. He plays with me. So that his character is me So he does a girl living with me now because he doesn't He doesn't want kalai or his character to talk to other men Or to be with any other men so he's chosen a woman for her lesbian by force
Starting point is 00:37:14 So he's he's turned me into a lesbian. Yeah, so I'll shoot like sometimes I'll see raiders It'll be all men and then two girls. I'll shoot the men and the girls will still fire at me. I'll just walk away Wow, I mean like so there's a reporter that's at diamond city And you can travel with her, right? But then it's like what I do is I go just go to my house and wait for me there You know what I mean? So she just hangs out at my house with my two dogs and my robot And she's just there for company No, she just walks around she like work on things and stuff like that and she'll just say stuff like What a beautiful day today it is but nothing she'll be in the kitchen or whatever
Starting point is 00:37:48 But I just in my head. I believe I have lesbian love scenes in the in the room Why can't they add that second life feature where you can in fact make love to because 12 year olds um play that game Oh, okay. I didn't take this into consideration kids play that game. Oh twitter question about fallout. Uh, what faction are you? Right now. I'm doing um the railroad. I'm I'm at I'm at the precipice of the game Is that a word? Yeah, like where you whatever decision I make is now somebody's gonna get hurt But right now I'm still a part of like the synths The institute. I'm still a part of the brotherhood. I'm still a part of the minute men I'm they're all good with me right now, but this next mission
Starting point is 00:38:31 It's when you know man do decide that either the brotherhood or the institute are gonna hate me, right? So it's like so right now. I'm just building houses You know, he built some really cool houses Yeah, I love it takes care of his people and his employees all have like a lounge where they all like congregate And then there's a communal area and stuff. You're strictly using this for a simulation Yeah, yeah, and she likes it because there's no screaming Right, so actually here's something that I've noticed about his um um his personality playing both games with destiny It's very it's highly competitive
Starting point is 00:39:05 It's it's you know, it's a whole lot of trying to finish a task and winning right with this It's more I could see how it's a very therapeutic game to play He is a much calmer and happier person and overall just balanced when he plays Fallout 4 And he's not he's not anxious. I rate angry like he is when he plays destiny when I play destiny with my brother and Eric He's a monster fucking fucking Loser he's a negative person. You know, I mean he's on edge all the time the n-word 52 times in a row Jesus and he called me gook. Okay. Well, it's even yeah. Yeah, you know, I mean, so it's like, you know
Starting point is 00:39:44 It's the and gook and gook and then it's like and my brother like you're crying like literally crying Go fuck you guys that you know, I mean it was like chaos, but this is a far more zen although Eric and Frank the doorman at the colombia store are begging me to come back Do you think you'll ever go back to destiny? I don't want to I really don't want to I like you. Do you have you ever since you started playing Fallout? Have I complained to you once that you're playing too much? No, oh, then you got to keep playing. You know, why why? Because you really are a nicer person
Starting point is 00:40:17 It's like therapy for you. I I after you play it and you come to bed You're calmer. You're kinder. You're more You're more available to me emotionally. Yeah, like you're more open. You're not a dickhead. Yeah on destiny You're a fucking dickhead and I lived with that for a year. Yeah You're mean. Yeah I want to win You know what I realized destiny too. It's like I you know, I have a year worth of work of armor and guns
Starting point is 00:40:48 And you're sitting there at the tower and you're like, okay. I played this 10 hours a day or whatever it might be And then you see some fucking kid walk by with with with armor that I'll never get On attain because it's just random. No, that's not random. It's just there's so much better They do they do the raids on hardcore mode or whatever Which I can't even do it on easy with my fucking dumb friends I've retarded friends, you know, I mean that don't even my brother goes in circles He doesn't even shoot his gun and it's like there's no way to do it
Starting point is 00:41:20 So it's like I sit around and I see what it could be and I found out that in destiny There's like a an you can go to mercury a planet if only the elite players can go Oh, yeah, so it's I've never even been I can't I'm not I'll I'll never something you'll never get to see now want to go You know, I what it's it didn't remind me of high school. Like I can't go. Yeah, it's the cool kids table. Yeah Could you just fart? Sorry. I thought I couldn't tell if it was. Oh, Jesus Christ. One more time, please. No, I don't have another one No, I'm two takes. Yeah, yours at least are more like controlled in kalayla's. Here's our I know why is it so, you know, you know, you've never heard me. Yes, I have heard you. Yeah, and it was fucking disgusting It wasn't even loud. It was like Jab of the hut burping
Starting point is 00:42:02 Okay, you've Gilbert's never farted press on his stomach force him to no, but um So anyways, let's see the fights this weekend and also I want to say this too is is that Kalayla and I are gonna go to phoenix tomorrow and we're gonna go visit My mom and dad and we're gonna try to do a we're going to Gilbert, Arizona with a Mormons and golf courses Yeah, and I'm gonna try to do a podcast with my mom. Nice. But we need to tell her No, we're not going to be aired. You know, that's unethical. I don't care I'm gonna tell my mom because I don't want her to edit. So when you say mom, this is just for my You know yourself for myself a diary. Yeah, it's something that I can have of you
Starting point is 00:42:43 But I just need you just to be you And we'll talk for hours. So we're gonna release it as a bonus belly. Yeah this week or next week probably next week probably Yeah, but I think that'll be fun if my dad can't talk really because he had a stroke But maybe we can get him in have him sing a song. No, no, no, he can sing a song. Yeah, yeah And he can definitely sing. I remember when we were here their last year My oh my god, this is gonna make me cry Do you remember when they put the headset of my mom? Eric Clapton
Starting point is 00:43:12 My dad growing up hated music Okay, he hates it Like who who hates music a guy that hit your brother with a keyboard That's the guy the korean kite hates fucking music. Yeah, that's who hates music. Yeah And my mom put headphones on my dad to play Eric Clapton song. I think you look wonderful tonight whenever And tears went down his face Like he heard music for the first time I saw emotional because he's dying. No, because you know what also he's
Starting point is 00:43:42 No, it's not that. I'm so sorry No, because he's rocket moon He's had a few strokes and that that actually is you when when you have some type of like traumatic brain injury When you've had strokes, there's a lot of crossover there. So it's like a lot of What he feels can only be expressed like With tears and emotion even though he doesn't intend for it to be expressed that way But because there's a lot of like, you know, the circuitry sort of gone Gone awry
Starting point is 00:44:13 So when my dad had that's common the main stroke two and a half years ago three years ago And my mom calls me Okay, let me just tell you my mom calls me two weeks before my dad had the main stroke And this is what she says early in the morning. She goes Ring ring. I go. Hello mom. She goes I go. Yeah, mom. She goes daddy He don't wake up. Oh my god. That's what she says
Starting point is 00:44:39 I scream I go fucking call my wife I mean, so I hang up like now. I'm crying because I think that he died And then five minutes later She calls him back. I go. Hello. She goes he wake up Like That's what she says. God. I go. How hard did you try the first time? Now in my head she went Oh, no, he did or whatever, right? So then two weeks later
Starting point is 00:45:08 She calls me and she goes Bobby he in hospital and it don't look good. I think he's gonna die I pick up my brother, right? And then we kill his dog Dolly. We talk about that yet? Wait, I'm I'm lost. Wait, what? They Bobby How did you go from your dad in the hospital? You killing a dog? I'll tell you. I hope there's a good thread. It's a great thread. Okay. It's not bad. I feel bad. I feel bad about it I obviously this I feel bad about it. All right I will tell you, you know, I will tell you a worse
Starting point is 00:45:39 Just a similar story to that so you don't feel so bad after that right after that. Then we talk about that disclaimer He feels bad. I feel bad. Okay. So this is before he learned to love animals Yeah, I hate when I met Kalayla. I love animals. I started to love animals Oh, I thought that was a whole lifetime. Oh, no, no, no, but I hadn't met Kalayla when this happened Okay, okay. So they were all my radar animals. He wanted to run over them. I would run out of them. I hate them It's crazy the way to see you with the cats. It's so different. Yeah, it's so different. I love my animals but anyway, so Years ago
Starting point is 00:46:12 My brother's Neighbor this old gay man. He died just abruptly And the paramedics came took the body away. Is that what they Yeah, yeah, and then he had a dog named Dolly And so they brought him downstairs to my brother and goes, hey, can you take care of this until we figure out what's going on? and So my brother goes, okay, and this dog is a bastard I mean, I used to walk in the house his house used to fucking bite my ankles and wouldn't let go
Starting point is 00:46:44 Like like he wanted to eat probably didn't appreciate the fungus put that dog that's Anyway, baby, I don't know about that. I mean if I were me right now, I want to bite your ankle I don't know about that. But anyway, so I fucking hated this thing and also it was going blind It had cancer and like lung disease and all kinds of thing. It looked like it was dead Like all the hair was gone. It was like a thousand years old, right? And my and I can't say do it. I can't I can't say it. No, no, no, Bobby. Please don't do that I'm not gonna say anything. Please. No, I can't he can't no but
Starting point is 00:47:21 So one morning I hated the duck so when I went to my brother's house and said my dad's in the hospital You know, I think this is it My brother goes, what do we do with Dolly? I go we gotta we gotta bring him to the Humane society. What is it called? Humane society. Humane society. Did you really? What are we gonna do? A fucking abiding dog when my dad's dying in the hospital Yeah, you're fucking mind
Starting point is 00:47:49 Look, I don't think that what you did is all that bad because Obviously it was sick. It had cancer. You basically put it out of its misery if it was already blind It was a thousand years old everyone. Okay, but this is what I did. My booze. I can't do it He's crying over my dad and Dolly So I took Dolly. I brought him in the humane society. I'm the one that put him in the cage I closed it and I gave Dolly a little wink and we left. Wow. Yeah You just abandoned poor Dolly in your senior year Come after Bobby Lee. That's basically how America treats their senior citizens. Anyways, true. I feel bad about it
Starting point is 00:48:20 They put him to a hold on if you're listening to this Dolly was a fucking cocksucker Bit his leg bit my legs. I'm never numerous times So anyway, we went to phoenix and um, my brother and I thought my dad was gonna die and I'm gonna tell you this right now I've never I've never cried so hard It was devastating To see him like that. It was I can't even you know Like when people say that my dad passed away, I can't even imagine it I can't imagine when people that's the way when I see like when isis just does the San Bernardino
Starting point is 00:48:53 Bernardino ship have that shit. It's just it to me. It's so I can't even comprehend Number one the act of that kind of violence and also the devastation The family members go through because it's like my poor dad like is old and he had a stroke and you know people die Right when they get old still devastating, you know But I can't imagine what people would go through if it was just some random act of violence, right? It's just so fucked up to me. It makes me so angry
Starting point is 00:49:25 That people like I hate isis so much. Do you yes? No, I don't yeah, I'm worried for you actually that's something that worries me because who I mean Yeah, because you know, we talked about this and They're you know, you're a grown person. I realize that you know, you you have your emotions in check and all of these things but you've never had a Death in the family Like that's what you said. You've never had one. You've never experienced what I have the grief of maybe like a friend
Starting point is 00:49:59 Or something like that, but a grief of a family member in that way. There's only three To me in my life that manner, right? My brother and my mom and dad. I mean, that's it I have I have one more. Yeah. Kalilah. No, no, no, I don't have to be part of that. No, you are. No, you're 100% part of that I'm sorry. You're right. You're absolutely right. I would be it would Just equivalent say I swear to god. I love you so that much I mean, no, but I get it though Like I would probably be more devastated if my sister died than if you died. Well, that's not Jesus
Starting point is 00:50:31 Look, I've known my sister my whole life Just twisted a bit. You know, but I get it like I would never dare compete with your love for your brother because that's on a different level You guys grew up together. Yeah, I mean that's that's that's like that's asking for that's being ridiculous Like I'm not one of those we protected each other. Yeah difficult times and You know, whenever I see like dudes like I'm not close to my brother Like gardo, like he's like, I don't not talk that close to my brother, right to me in my head. I'm like, how that fucking doesn't make any sense
Starting point is 00:51:04 Like I like I like I would fucking die for my brother that you know what that was What was what I found so attractive about you when I first met you was how you talked about how much you loved your brother Because everybody that I dated never had a relationship with their siblings that even compared to Me and my sister's relationship. I always thought ours was a little bit abnormal And people are always like wow you and your sister are on a different level close and I'm like, yeah, like there is not one Entity on this entire universe that I could possibly Love more right nothing like absolutely doesn't even come close And when he when he described his brother
Starting point is 00:51:41 He said the same thing like he when we first maybe in the second week that we knew each other He is I started to tear up just talking about his brother and I was like, oh my god That's exactly how I feel and I found that so attractive and I get it I get his love for his brother. I get him being just crazy It's like an extension of you and you know, he they're not talking right now They're not I'm a mad at him right now. Yeah for two weeks. They haven't spoken but two weeks. Yeah That's why we do it. We do it It's a it that's a what? No, I'm just I'm just yeah, I mean that it's gonna resolve itself
Starting point is 00:52:12 I love him. You know, I mean that that doesn't change. Yeah, you know, I mean, but I'm saying though that like when people are you close your brothers and sisters my sister are you close to her? Yes, we don't have to talk all the time. But what's your name again? I'm not supposed to say that name Good one. Oh, that's very good. I'll protect you. Yeah, but um I won't say it. Fuck you Can we give her a fault false name because I don't want to say your sister Okay, she has the same face shape as me. So go ahead. Give her shitty name fat fadge We'll call her fat fadge
Starting point is 00:52:43 Face not vagina. You said fat face not fat vagina. My sister's got a big vagina. Give her a name Uh, what what your sister? Do you feel that with her? Yeah I would die for I really I'm being serious. You would die for her. Yeah, so it's just you two growing up. I've never told her that but What tell her Okay, this is weird now. Why fat fadge? We don't we're not you're fat bad But we know that's another thing like nick yusef who's a comic that opens for me He's never told his brother that he loves he loves his brother, but he's never told him that
Starting point is 00:53:16 I don't never told my I'll never tell my why also. I know we already know. No, that's not you gotta say it You know what though? How far I'll if I did that it'd be like we don't what's your age gap only three years My my brother and I do you gotta see what what's her? Her name. Give me your give me your phone. No, don't do that. I want to text her on your behalf I'm gonna say I love you. I just want to let you know. I love you. I'll let you do a video But you guys you're only 26 too. So I think this is And she's also a girl So I guess it's a little bit different, but I think give it even a little bit more time with my brother and I were a kiss
Starting point is 00:53:50 That's love. Oh, I can't do that to her. Oh, baby. Are we allowed to say that? Oh, did I just say that? Baby, that was supposed to come in episode 50 Fuck Isis Fuck Isis. I shouldn't have said that. Why are you spewing lies Bobby? Connect. Take that. Can you take that out? Yeah, baby. Just say it's not true. It's not true. It is true, but take it Actually, yeah, let's keep I'll just bleep out that but we know it's whatever he said That's bleep out. We're not going to talk for okay. We're not gonna bleep that out, but we're gonna bleep that out But he actually bleep it out. We're gonna keep all this. Okay. Yeah, but when he comes when he comes over for as a guest
Starting point is 00:54:29 We're gonna have to ask him We're gonna have to see if we can talk about there's so many things about we know each other That I thought I already said whatever I just said and I don't think I have and I'll think he'll be happy with it Yeah, so I might bet, you know what I mean, but um Yeah So it's yeah, it's a deep love between them. It's a deep love and I find that very especially after that knowledge. Yeah Apparently it is some um somebody on twitter asked um the update of your green foot Oh, yeah, and the update of my um
Starting point is 00:55:02 jock itch basically and um the answer to that question is um, we've narrowed down the culprit Of the supposed like fungus and it's from his hands because we've had sexuality since But he's not allowed to touch me anymore. It's so sad like he can't fingerblast me Like he can't even like rub me up top like nothing. He can't he just can't touch me And down there and I haven't had any issues since so it's just just just pure penetration no foreplay And it's really making me sad stimulation. No, it sucks man But it's like there's nothing I can do
Starting point is 00:55:39 If anybody lives in LA who knows a really good podiatrist like please hit us up I need a foot doctor. I think he seriously needs an amputation at this time I don't need an amputated, but I mean, that's all I hear at night too when you're sleeping and you don't realize it is I know because it's just so fucking bad. He's just scratching. All right. I don't want to talk about my fucking green foot anymore It was a twitter question. I had to I don't care. All right And and and also when people are at that fanning his Is
Starting point is 00:56:07 You guys are very slick very slick, but our fans our baby bellies are going to dad fans thing and putting at Hashtagging him his which is very very clever right, but just stop You know, I love the guy Hey, it's only gonna help him the more they hashtag him. Well then keep doing it But don't say anything negative just hashtag his name and then get out Yeah, get in get out. He's going through a very positive thing in his life through his instagram. Have you noticed? He's crying because he's he's 2016. He's gonna get a bunch of acting work. He's crying. Yeah, I know he's excited He's very grateful. Okay. Tell me how sad. Okay. Hang on. Hang on. Yeah, I have a sincere question for you. Yeah
Starting point is 00:56:52 How enraged truly do you feel that he's copping your style? What do you mean? Weren't you the first asian guy to take a crying selfie? Yeah Really? Yes, you've never seen bobby's crying selfie. I've done. I was the first asian guy to do crying selfies First asian guy to do selfie funerals selfie funerals Were you the first asian guy to take a picture you already posted on instagram and get a closer version of that? Were you no, I wasn't there you go. He's ahead of his start. Yeah, he is ahead of the he's a trailblazer But he did I think that um, he took a crying selfie to spite you
Starting point is 00:57:29 I think it's despite I don't think it is. I don't think I don't think he thinks about me I don't think that I'm in this world and I don't think about him and let's move on our obsession needs to end My obsession needs to end. Yeah, we can we can do better. Good luck though. Good luck. Um, anyway, do we are we good? I don't know. Whatever we are. Oh, we just want to talk about some fights. What are we at? What are we at now? We have 57. That was good. Yeah Yeah, definitely talk about fights. Come on, Bobby. Who do you who do you have this weekend really quick? Rose or page van sant and your thoughts about pager. All right page van sant. Okay Is a workhorse?
Starting point is 00:58:02 She she knows how to go forward. She's relentless She doesn't have the skills Rose not my juniors One more time last name rose not many units that is correct. Oh, wow. All right. She I've seen her over the last year I've seen videos of her Do standing um arm bars from flying arm arm our bars. She's extremely also lengthy, you know She's she she's very skillful. Yeah, and I really believe right that she's gonna win I I don't I think that yeah
Starting point is 00:58:35 Unless you know, she doesn't have any take a down defense Because what what is page gonna do page is gonna go forward grind it and lock up exactly that try to get it and do ground and pound and you know, that's You know, because here's the thing with page two is that she is she'll never ever give you space, right? So even if she's eating a few shots here and there she's still gonna keep pushing forward But she just doesn't I've never seen her land. Yeah, I was watching the her fight felice harrick again Even when she has clear shots in she can she doesn't have pause on her. She doesn't have heavy hands at all I've I don't know if um
Starting point is 00:59:14 I think that stand-up wise rose has better striking. Yeah And but but page it's like how can you strike against someone who just will not give you that distance? And it doesn't matter page will keep moving forward. So my money is on page For this one. My money is on rose for sure 100 percent. We'll keep a tally of this to see who has the most right picks So, um, i'm rose your page. What are you? Uh rose You are oh really? Page is better for the UFC if she wins. I don't think so. You know what? I look at rose as somebody who who's a badass chick
Starting point is 00:59:46 She shaved her head. She looks like furiosa now. She trains in the fucking cold weather She's she is a great and she's a very pretty girl And she has a sort of a cool mysterious personality about her still very young Yeah, but 22 or 23. Yeah a lot a quick one, uh Sage north cut any thoughts on him? He's fine. I do well. We have thoughts about cody fister because we love him I love cody fister. You do love cody fister? Yes Because he's such a nobody. Oh, okay. I love cody fister. We look at his body
Starting point is 01:00:15 Look, he bobby loves him because of his body. He looks like a cold real boy looks like a guy, right? He's no muscle I know, you know, who reminds me a little bit is that you ever see there will be blood? Yes that one The preacher the preacher guy The kid that was a young like Religious fanatic the main guy, but the not daniel day louis, but the other yeah Yeah, yeah, he kind of reminds me of that kind of energy like this kind of red necky quiet But also his body doesn't look defined. It looks almost like, you know bj pens body, you know, there's no muscle really Just but yeah, and also he is but you know, he has
Starting point is 01:00:53 American heart. I know you're gonna say a heart. Yeah, well, they're both from texas. I think they both have american heart Sage What's his name sage? He's a sin babe. He's a sin You don't think he's real. He's not real. He and if he is real, right? He does steroids. He's only a kid. No way No, he was raised with it. He is almost like, um, you know, I've been drago ish Yeah, but like a machine positive and kind kind and godly and godly and a virgin. He's a virgin Oh, my god. Oh dear god Here's the one thing that my gripe would sage north cut is is that everyone thinks he is a great face for ufc
Starting point is 01:01:28 But you know what kind of fans he's gonna garner He's gonna garner like all these bible thumpers and these types of people that I don't necessarily my buddies are cody My butt. Okay. My money is on sage But the only reason I don't want him to win because I actually I want to hate sage so much But he is such a good kid. There's no way around it This is the guy who's competed in karate since he was like four years old and basically just committed his whole life to To martial arts, right? But I cannot for the life of me. I saw that embedded I just cannot stand the way his father dresses and for that reason. I hope he loses
Starting point is 01:02:01 You see his father wears jeans right with embroidered florida lee Like that is so you might as well be wearing all at hearty Let me say something right now. My money's on cody fister. What about you? My money's on sage for sure Sage, okay. I do want cody to win though. He's gonna win If he could just wrestle him down He is gonna win because you I know white dudes. I know white dudes. Well, they're both white as fuck I was raised with white dudes Okay, and I know I know the ones with resilience and american heart
Starting point is 01:02:31 Stop saying american heart and the ones that don't okay and cody fister In in a different way. He was a serial killer. I know what you like. He's like he's got a dommer I don't I have a rage in my heart. I'm quiet But I will fucking peel your skin off and make fucking shade lamps. Yeah, right? I know why you like him. Why because he loves cats and he lives with He only he only lives with a cat. You don't see his like training people who he trains with you Don't see his coach on the embedded It's just him his cat and him going to some gym in arlington, texas and his girlfriend's very pretty and he fucking fucks the shit over
Starting point is 01:03:04 Come on american next next one american heart. I hope he does get in sage's face during the weigh-ins Um, I want to talk about frankie agar and chad mendes, but body doesn't know too much about either So I guess we can just know chad mendes. I know both of them. Yeah, why why'd you say he doesn't know? No, he knows but he doesn't have an opinion. I do have an opinion. Okay, frankie edgar Okay, all right hard for sure. That is american heart. Totally what I know about frankie edgar. He's he's also He doesn't give up And he's he's resilient. Yeah, and he needs it He needs it
Starting point is 01:03:35 Go ahead. I'ma go with chad because of a full with a full camp and you know me and my wrestlers. I just love him I'm going american heart. I have I love this whole american heart train. Wow. It's a new thing Okay, thank you. I got american heart, dude. Right. Okay next The another american hero chris wideman or look rock old the model bad boy lucrod hold chris wideman I'm going to you know what? I I neither love nor hate either. I'm so neutral about this. I have no opinion it because uh Here's the thing about chris wideman the only tragedy that's happened in his life is a stop with that I hear on this forever. It's a soaked up garage after like hurricane sandy and if that's like the most the saddest thing
Starting point is 01:04:15 That's ever happened in your life. You haven't lived and with for that. I'm gonna lose. I'm gonna choose. Um bad boy Look rock. So all your new york listeners that lost their homes and maybe had some family members died from the flood No, but he didn't he was like just crying about here. My this you know I didn't have insurance and But it's okay because my family sort of comes from money anyways. Jeez Conor McGregor or jose although You first babe and you already know how I feel. I know how you feel, but what is your what do you really feel who's gonna win? in my heart
Starting point is 01:04:48 in my heart although In my heart, why I'll tell you why? Because he's been championed for a fucking decade He's been in the octagon with all different kinds of Killers Killers, you know He's fought edgar. He's fought mend. He's got fun. Okay. Oh, it bend this everybody
Starting point is 01:05:12 Okay And he destroyed the uriah favors fucking legs and that one remember that one we couldn't walk anymore Yeah, and I can't list this guy connor mcgregor is obviously gifted He's extremely stylistic He's extremely cocky though And I just don't like his disrespect It's disrespect
Starting point is 01:05:35 It is disrespect Because when you say to a guy that has been championed for 10 years that i'm just gonna run all over you and you're nothing You know what I mean? It's disrespectful And then like grabbing his belt, you know, I mean remember that during that one like press conference And then headbutting him during a face-to-face. It's disrespectful somebody who absolutely adores mike tyson I'm really surprised by what you're saying Because you love mike tyson mike tyson is infamous. No, I like mike tyson after his fighting
Starting point is 01:06:07 Not during when he was a fighter He's raping days and his abusive days and his biting the ears off of Other other people's faces days. I didn't like him. He's funny now He's nice. He's kind-hearted. I've met him a couple of times. He's a great guy But those guys are just marketing machines and I love them for that. It doesn't matter. I don't give a fuck It's like, you know what? There is a level of like of I get it. You can talk you can Muhammad Ali did it, right?
Starting point is 01:06:36 But he didn't have the disrespect for his opponents. He did. No, we didn't absolutely. He did no And he's um, that's it. I'm done. So final pick for all the fucking although all the all day My money is on McGregor. I think he is so adaptable. I think that You know, um, I'm not saying that it my my My final verdict is that look it can really go either way. I just think that connor is younger He's just so he has such A really he has such a high fight IQ so high and I think that and he also has a proven strong chin And he's been training so smart these past couple
Starting point is 01:07:20 We'll see because I my only thing with that is that when you're a champion You really take on a much heavier load than the contender and I know that josie aldo is this is technically an interim title That he's garnered but the amount of media attention that connor's doing straight-up champion media Right. So that's what I'm saying. So it's like I know I realize and also the only thing that's a this This advantage is to him too is that I think he has a tougher weight cut than aldo. Oh, absolutely And you know, he's a bigger guy. He's taller and I in between that and like press obligations. I always like fear that Here my biggest saw what happened with ronda. So you're right
Starting point is 01:07:58 And you know what my biggest fear is that we pay for this pay-per-view We're gonna have a fight We're gonna have a fight party this weekend and my biggest fear is that someone either like, you know what happened to edson barboza Was it edson barboza? Wait, what are you talking about? No, it wasn't edson barboza. It was um, The other brazilian guy the jiu-jitsu guy. It's like within the first round. He blew out his knee recently Oh my I can't think of his name. Um, but you know, I'm talking about my fear is that Something is going to happen to where someone is going to blow out a knee and some weird move in the first round And then the main card is shot the shit. Thank god. There's look rock holding wide man
Starting point is 01:08:33 Thank god for undercars and adrid damien maya and there's a lot of gunner nelson The whole even the the prelims are lucky Holloway, that's right. Oh, yeah. Um, stevensson and holloway. Yeah And that's you know The entire fight card is literally amazing from from thursday friday saturday It's just the most amazing fight weekend and I can't wait and no matter I'm not particularly like hung up on one fighter. Like this isn't a mani paki on my weather thing for me It is for me connor mcgregor. Yeah connor is your boy
Starting point is 01:09:06 I realize you have you paid a lot of money to go see him the last time when you have seen 189 Following up since cage warriors guys, you know, I did the fight companion for ufc 189. Hey, can I just say? Yes, you were A phenomenal. Oh, you're just saying that gilbert. I was so um, I didn't know that I was gonna do it Bobby was just like, oh, I'm going to the studio and then we didn't he didn't even know he was doing a fight podcast and I was like, hey, what is this? And um, I didn't even know you yet. I was dry guys I was driving back from ufc 189 and I like had not listened to the fight companion yet I put it on one of my way back to la driving and I was like, who's that girl talking?
Starting point is 01:09:44 We weren't really friends yet. No, I was like, what the fuck that's koala. That's when I texted you. I was like, uh, good job That was good. I was really shy. I didn't know I was like, oh, this is a man's domain Like I'm just gonna quiet up and like, you know, not say too much. You can make a statement here You could beat up brennan schaub In an emin and a jiu-jitsu battle I Dude, all brennan schaub would need to do is like literally blow in my direction and he would knock me out No, you go. Oh my god, my boob fell off. Boom triangle. Chuck. You're gone
Starting point is 01:10:14 My implant would fly so far across that octagon. You don't even Whoop, what the hell? Yeah, I mean those guys are great, man, but um, yeah, I'm really excited for this weekend and um I kind of want to do I feel like doing a podcast during the thing We should we know what we're gonna get a zoom and just put it on the table and You know what we don't we have a fan question unhelpful advice with barbie and kalayla rocket food This is from mc
Starting point is 01:10:45 I'm a korean 24 year old guy with a beautiful taiwanese girlfriend She's a solid 7.5 and I'm a four at best with low lighting Sometimes I don't know why she's even attracted to me except to say she enjoys my banter I like farting into the phone when we talk and I like to make her smell my balls in public Anyways, I have a problem. Listen bobby. Okay. I have a problem. There is a part of me that believes I can always do better even with my c level physical attractiveness. I say this because I feel like she's missing something She's super nice not needy smart. She can tolerate my shit understanding and all of that But she's missing like that energy and wildness you guys have
Starting point is 01:11:29 I guess what I'm trying to say is she's everything but funny But I value funny very highly It seems so rare to find girls who are smart attractive and funny. What shall I do? Is is this a grass is always greener on the other type of situation? Shall I just cherish what I already have when everyone tells me I'm so lucky to have her Women women become funnier as they get older Because what what they have in their young days is that they have their beauty which they use as a It's a defense mechanism. Also. They have power with that, right?
Starting point is 01:12:05 But as they get older, they have to develop a personality and I feel like Girls later in life become funnier. You know, I don't I think that Kalyla at the age of she's 31 Ew, why did you have to do that? She's 31. What have I ever done to you bro? I don't know you're old But at the age of 31 she's become Funnier I I mean, I didn't know her at 22, but I can you just know I just kind of I feel like I know let me tell you something
Starting point is 01:12:36 That's actually quite untrue if you met my if you knew just how riotous and crazy Like was that why you pick guys that beat you? No, I didn't know that I didn't enter those relationships thinking that they were gonna beat me. They just did that's hilarious to you It is pretty funny. The reason why you picked me now is because You have upped your fucking humor game to the next level. It's true because let me tell you that's why I'm just fucking made a fucking point And you just disregarded my shit right now. Okay, go ahead. All right What I'm saying to you right now is a factual thing ain't no fucking No, I ain't no fucking. I'm sorry my lord. All right
Starting point is 01:13:15 So that's it This chick is gonna get funnier as time goes on and let me say this right now. All right The grass isn't always greener Oh, you're gonna ask you a question then Bobby You don't think that people are just like you don't think that people have a natural funny bone like I really do think it's in your blood Your mom's funny. Your dad's funny. Like I think my dad would my mom and dad were not funny growing up They were violent. They never made me laugh and they were full of anger and rage They became funnier as they got older
Starting point is 01:13:45 All right, I became fun. I get funnier and funnier as I get older. I was hilarious as a young person though But it's like Yeah, I mean if she has Absolutely no sense of humor at all like if she doesn't watch like much like my dad didn't like music If she doesn't like comedy in general then maybe that's a problem But if she likes to laugh and she gets humor she can get you know She'll grow into it Great advice sweetheart. Stay with her
Starting point is 01:14:16 So stay with her and plus also you're 24 you have so much time to discover and to sort of you know figure out Like you're in no rush You're not 55 and just like ready to pounce and and and you know buckle down and get married you're 24 Explore more things with her if she's if she's this kind person to you if she's understanding of of the guy that you are Or for the four that you are and she lets you and she actually smells your balls in public Guess what buddy? She is funny. She is funny. That's comedy. Maybe you're that is pure comedy to me And not believe it or not not many girls would appreciate you farting into a phone. So that's a big thing I think that you are underestimating her and that you should stick around because it seems like she's a
Starting point is 01:15:00 You know, she's a treat.
