I came across this week's subject when I was recently looking for the strangest topics I could find online. Topics that could still excite and entertain my jaded brain. I wanted something different from anything we've covered in a while. And when I was mining for some wacky little gold on the web, holy shit, did I hit the motherlode. Let me just read you a few sentences from the Wikipedia page. A few sentences that made me think that the University of Cosmic Intelligence was definitely worth exploring. Beliefs of the group include that polygamy is essential for men, that the government

is engaged in weather modification and efforts to shut off stargates to alternate dimensions, and that African Americans are true Native Americans instead of being descended from enslaved Africans. The group promotes conspiracy theories, anti-vaccinationism, and sovereign citizen-style beliefs. Among Jamal's stranger beliefs are that NBA players are synthetic robots and that birds don't exist but are government tracking devices. Are you not intrigued? The University of Cosmic Intelligence. While I don't think it fits the criteria for a cult, as it's often labeled,

I do think it's a fascinating and highly entertaining American new religious movement founded by rapper, so-called prophet, and convicted child molester, Rashad Jamal White. Rashad's ideas are preposterous, hard to follow, and poorly communicated. And yet the University of Cosmic Intelligence has gained hundreds of thousands of devoted followers across social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Very engaged audience. There has never been a shortage of people in the world who are willing and able to get behind a bad idea.

Man, or a whole bunch of bad ideas. The UCI began to receive some national media attention in recent years after two followers of Rashad Jamal committed brutal acts of murder. And after a group of four followers and two other young children cut off contact with their families and disappeared without a trace back in the summer of 2023. UCI founder and leader Rashad Jamal has claimed in his videos that he was sent to enlighten and inform and increase the frequency of the planet and to rid this planet of its parasitical invaders. He has called himself the Messiah, divine insight, a god sent to earth to heal the entire planet, a planet not called earth idiots,

but Ki. Yeah, this is the planet Ki. Rashad has told his followers that black and Latino people are gods here on Ki, and collectively, that they should be referred to as the Grand Cosmic Rising Family. Before he was sent to prison, Rashad took elements of many New Age schools of thought and blended them together to form the very unique ideology of the University of Cosmic Intelligence. One of their core beliefs is that they are sovereign citizens, separate and exempt from any and all laws of the United States government, a belief hard to reconcile with Rashad being sent to

prison. Turns out he's not so sovereign after all. What is it about Rashad Jamal and his teachings that have caused some people to not only entertain some of his nonsense, but to abandon their families, move off of the grid, and form tent communities in the woods, and even murder their own mother? You might think that since August 2023, when Rashad was convicted of child molestation and cruelty to children and sentenced to 18 years in prison, the UCI would have come to an end, but you would be wrong. The UCI still maintains an active website and social media presence. They post cosmic messages where Rashad Jamal delivers via prison phone calls and his supporters vehemently deny the charges against him and believe he was thrown in prison because he has been preaching nothing but the cosmic truth.

Today we will discuss the sovereign citizen movement as a whole, how Rashad Jamal, excuse me, formed the UCI, will cover violent acts committed by his followers, Rashad's strange teachings and his recent criminal conviction in another not quite cult, cult, cult, but definitely wackadoodle and absolutely ridiculous edition of Time Suck. so we can stop paying taxes and stop supporting an evil oppressive, soul-crushing regime until they eventually come arrest us for not paying taxes and not complying with other laws and throw us all in a very real prison where officials will not give a single fuck about our nonsensical beliefs. With an overview of the Sovereign Citizen Movement to get a better understanding of one of the core beliefs of the University of Cosmic Intelligence that it has founded itself in, followed by a timeline of the strange formation and life of the UCI. The FBI defines sovereign citizens as anti-government extremists who believe that even though they physically reside in this country they are separate or sovereign from the United States. As a result they believe

they don't have to answer to any government authority including courts, taxing entities, motor vehicle departments, or law enforcement. We have some of these types around Coeur d'Alene, which I'm guessing surprises exactly no one. A lot of anti-government types in northern Idaho, and I've never met a single one who has appeared even remotely rational to me when they've gone this far. I get having problems with the government. But to think you are exempt from laws because you sign some papers is absolutely ludicrous.

Like for starters, how the fuck can you expect to drive your vehicle down a road paved thanks to tax dollars, but not feel like you should have to contribute whatsoever to its upkeep? How can you expect to ever use a hospital, even private hospitals, heavily subsidized by government money in the US? They collectively receive billions of dollars worth of help every year But not feel like you should have to pay for access to Western medical care or or like if your house starts to burn Are you gonna be dumb enough to call the fire department? I mean since you refuse to contribute to society Why should you benefit in any way from the protection that it offers? It's a fucking laughably idiotic movement You don't like this nation's laws. All right. Okay, I get it. But then the fight to go change them

leave go find some other nation whose laws you align with or or Do us a favor and maybe just shut the fuck up Like you really want to be truly sovereign Okay and maybe just shut the fuck up. Like you really want to be truly sovereign? Okay then start a bloody revolution, try and take some land for yourself, like truly take it. And then should you somehow pull that off, well best of luck. Run in a new nation where your citizens are all sovereign and they don't pay taxes to you. It's gonna be a real dystopian shit show with zero infrastructure. The Southern Poverty Law Center reports that sovereign citizens use conspiracy theories, of course they do, and false beliefs to justify their

activities, some of which are illegal and or violent. They frequently have confrontational interactions with law enforcement because of their rejection of legal documentation such as driver's licenses. For example, in May of 2010 a father and son, 45 year old Jerry R. Kane Jr. and his 16-year-old son, Joseph T. Kane, were captured on camera killing two police officers, 38-year-old West Memphis police officer Bill Evans and 38-year-old Sergeant Brandon Pottert when they were pulled over in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a self-described sovereign citizen, Jerry had no driver's license, the van he was driving

not properly registered, also had two warrants out license. The van he was driving, not properly registered. Also had two warrants out for his arrest that he was just not dealing with. Jerry got into an argument with Officer Evans while he was being frisked. Then he attacked the officer. The two started rolling down the embankment towards the ditch. Then Joe, his son, popped out of his dad's van with an AK-47 variant, opened fire on Sergeant Pottert, who returned fire before he took a ricochet to the head along with 13 other fucking bullets and then died of the scene. Jerry was able to push officer Evans away from him

and then officer Evans was then fatally shot eight times by his son would die at the hospital. Both officers left behind widows and young children. Both officers left behind widows and young children. Jerry and Joe, two fine, upstanding, sovereign citizens, now hop back into their van, sped away. Two hours later, their van is spotted in a Walmart parking lot by Crittenden County Sheriff Dick Busby fuck yeah, not even bothering with the Richard bullshit and Chief Enforcement Officer W.A. Wren.

And when these officers approach, Jerry and Joe open fire on them them as well with AKs, both officers are shot. Both will end up in critical condition in the hospital, but live. Wildlife officer Michael K. Neal responding to the brief standoff, then rammed these idiots van, preventing their escape and saving the lives of Busby and Wren. Officer Neal, fucking hail Officer Neal, then shot through his own windshield with his patrol rifle, took out Jerry Kane, killing him on the scene, then shot and wounded his son Joe. He then popped out of his vehicle, exchanged more gunfire with Joe, who was still shooting that AK. Over a dozen more officers arrived on scene

during the ongoing gun battle, and finally Joe is shot again, this time fatally, and now it's finally over. Two officers dead, two others critically wounded, a bunch of property damage, and both sovereign citizens dead over a bunch of bullshit. The two were in the process of driving to Florida when they got pulled over where Jerry was putting on some of this some kind of bullshit sovereign citizen debt elimination motivational speaking seminar that apparently fucking no one was attending. He'd been touring with it for a while and has been going horribly. He was about to go live for a while and has been going horribly.

He was about to go live with the woman he met online who was also into the sovereign citizen movement and who was involved in a protracted legal battle stemming from her not wanting to pay a $20 county dog licensing fee. Just a whole bunch of geniuses. Also on March 1, 2023, 25- 25 year old Chase Allen was killed by the police when he refused to comply during a traffic stop because he didn't think he had to comply. Because he's a sovereign citizen! He attempted to grab his loaded gun, got it out of the holster before he got shot.

Chase and his parents members of the sovereign citizen movement. So good job mom and dad. Way to get baby boy killed for just being fucking morons. His mother Diane was stopped in 2022 for driving without a registration or a license. She filed a petition against Davis County, Utah, entities and employees, as well as the former Farmington police chief and police and a police officer referring to herself as one of the sovereign people of Utah. And just, you know, filed complaints over just nonsense. The police were like, oh, sorry to bother you, Diane. Oh, guess you get to do whatever you want, lady.

It's your world. Gosh dang. You should get yourself a bumper sticker letting us know that we have no right to literally ever enforce laws upon you, pull you over. But you know, still driving our roads that you don't help pay for. Hey, is that an AK-47 laying in your backseat on top of a couple kilos of Columbia nose candy? Fucking awesome!

Which I could do some snorting and shooting, but dab nab it, I'm a citizen. I have to follow this country's cellular laws. After Chase died, the group ASN, Study Guide and University, of which Diana was an admin, encouraged members to reach out to the Farmington PD to share the chase was an American state national. That's the ASN, a type of sovereign citizen, and provide them with information about the right to travel and then it'll be like a wrongful death because you know

they never should have pulled him over because you know, he's a sovereign guy. These people are fools. The balls to send a letter to a law enforcement agency and be like, I know you have your laws and stuff but like we've done a lot of thinking about it and we don't have to follow them. Here's why. Let us know if you need any more paperwork to immediately fucking throw in the shredder after not reading it. Many sovereigns believe that they have the right to drive freely with no license or registration so long as they're not operating a vehicle for commercial purposes. That's how they they twisted things around in their head.

The sovereign citizen movement began to really gain momentum during the pandemic, of course. A lot of weird shit gained momentum during the pandemic. And according to the SLPC, the increase in disinformation around politics and health in recent years has fostered an environment where facts are challenged and conspiracy theories, such as the ones perpetuated by sovereign citizens have grown in popularity and reach. Oh they fucking sure have. Yep facts challenged constantly now. Facts considered by so many people just to be like you know just musings, just opinions. Conspiracy is now mainstream. So fun. So sad that that was

the outcome of giving a lot of people a lot of time to think during the pandemic. Like we could have come out of the pandemic smarter and more educated. We didn't. We definitely didn't. But we could have. You know, more people could have taken online college courses, worked towards various degrees, moved society forward. But instead, collectively, so many people were like, check out this lizard person on TikTok. Oh my God. Rihanna Satanic. Did you know there are at least eight states, there are at least eight states, including

Florida and Tennessee, that have now introduced chemtrail coded legislation to prohibit, quote, geoengineering and weather modification. There's no such thing as camp trails. They're as real as the earth is flat, but that's where we are now as a culture. The inmates, oh, they're coming real close to fully running the asylum. Uh, there's been a recent shift in sovereign citizen demographics with members of the movement becoming younger and more female. Uh, many now also reject the label sovereign citizen and have started calling themselves this term I introduced earlier American state

national. Uh-huh. But the beliefs and activities they're essentially exactly the same. Sovereign groups have used the power of social media to recruit more members. Recent groups like the American State Assembly and the National Assembly teach members to fill out paperwork they claim will make them sovereign and teach members how to form quote assemblies government structures that they believe are somehow outside of the US government's control that they also believe will replace the government at some point in the future. Yeah these weirdos are gonna be in charge. I'll fucking I'll definitely fucking leave

this country if these weirdos ever become in charge. Have these assemblies ever won an important legal battle to give any legitimacy to their arguments? No, of course not. Literally not once ever in history. No judge has ever been like, you know what, you raised a lot of good points. I'm gonna rule in your favor. If you take a few seconds to do a web search of do sovereign citizens ever win in court, you'll get some form of the following answer. No. Sovereign citizen arguments are consistently rejected by courts. Sovereign citizens believe they are not subject to government laws and can disregard legal procedures,

but these claims are not recognized by any court. Their arguments are considered frivolous and have no basis in law. There's a lot of these people in North Carolina for some reason. Not sure what's going on there. And check out what an academic paper posted on the University of North Carolina's website, what they had to say about these sovereign citizens. Just thought this was funny. There are few state appellate court decisions debunking sovereign citizens' arguments because

sovereign citizens almost always represent themselves and either do not appeal the trial court decisions against them or are unable to perfect an appeal properly. Also most of the arguments they make are so obviously frivolous that courts feel free to reject them without much explanation. That is such a funny way to say these people are idiots and their nonsensical arguments are not worth the court's time. So where did this movement come from? Uh, the sovereign citizen movement originated in the early 1970s. It evolved from two anti-government movements.

The first was a tax protest movement, which started in the late 60s, still exists today, uh, follows this movement have used pseudo legal and frivolous arguments to falsely claim that Americans do not have to pay federal income taxes. And look, I wish we didn't. I would love to have legislation change shit around with our taxes and somehow figure out how to provide more for citizens and also not be taxed as much, but you don't just get to like make up some documents and present that to the government. You're like, see we're done now. Just like sovereign citizens, yeah, these guys would never win any court battles.

The second movement, founded in 1971 by confused white supremacist William Potter Gale. I say confused because his own father is Jewish. Half Jewish guy, he becomes a white supremacist. Gale, just a fucking walking turd of a human, truly, formed a group of anti-government Christian identity adherents who did not trust state or federal officials. They believe people of color were not human and that Jewish people were involved in a satanic plot to take over the world. Just the classic conspiracy lore. So this guy just shits on his own family over some insanity. They identified themselves as the Posse Comitatis.

Latin for power of the country. This movement centers on the idea that county sheriffs are the highest governmental authorities. That's an interesting angle. Okay, let's put all the county sheriffs in charge of everything. Nothing against county sheriffs, but this feels like a recipe to end up like some like some place like Sudan or Afghanistan where various tribal warlords essentially just run different areas of the country. Yeah, let's just have all these counties fucking run by, you know, power-hungry sheriffs. That sounds awesome. Now this belief is based on the Sheriff's Act of 1887 which allowed sheriffs to

form a posse to assist in hunting down and arresting criminals. Christian identity is an interpretation of Christianity that believes Europeans, aka the Aryan race, even though that's not a real race, are the descendants of the ancient Israelites. It is not an organized religion, not really, might be a few backwards fucking hillbilly congregations, but not affiliated with any specific denominations. Potter's posse, as they became called, believed that they could live under common law, laws based on an interpretation of the Bible, hello Gilead, and not civil law, the actual laws of the United States. Potter's posse refused to pay taxes, filed fake property liens, and committed acts of violence against public officials. On February 13th, 1983, posse member Gordon Call killed two federal marshals who had come to arrest him in North Dakota and he became a fugitive. Another stupid shootout ensued June 3rd 1983 in which Call and Lawrence County Arkansas Sheriff Gene Matthews were both killed. In 1967, Call had written a letter to the Internal Revenue

Service stating he would no longer quote, pay tithes to the synagogue of Satan under the second plank of the Communist Manifesto. Again, look, you know, I get it. I don't like paying taxes either. I don't like where a lot of my tax money goes. I would have fucking so much more money if I never had to pay taxes. But you know, it's kind of the law. And if you don't pay it, you know, they will come after you. And they came after Gordon and they tried to get him to be reasonable for years, but

he wouldn't relent. And that led to a lot of unnecessary violence. And other law enforcement officers have also died in connection with this group. The Posse Combatantes movement died out by the late 80s after William Potter Gale's death in 1988 when he was 71. What has changed between then and now, excuse me, is the prominence of white supremacist beliefs among sovereign citizens. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, the contemporary sovereign belief system is based on a decades-old conspiracy theory that the American government, set up by the Founding Fathers under a common law legal system, was secretly replaced.

They believe that the replacement government swapped common law for Admiralty Law or Maritime Law. Many members of the movement believe this change occurred during the American Civil War. Others believe it happened in 1933 when the US abandoned the gold standard. US dollars, no longer backed by the gold standard, by gold, was instead backed by the quote full faith and credit of the federal government. According to this conspiracy theory, the government now pledges citizens as collateral by selling

their future earning capabilities to foreign investors, therefore enslaving all Americans. Sale takes place at birth, apparently, when you are issued a birth certificate and apply for a social security number. The government then uses the birth certificate to set up a corporate trust in the baby's name, a U.S. Treasury account that it funds with amounts ranging from $600,000 to $20 million. God, I wonder how much I'm worth. I hope for the sake of my ego that the government saw $20 million potential,

my little newborn ass, and didn't see me as some, you know, $600,000 sewer baby. By setting up the Treasury Direct Account, aka TDA, the baby's rights are split between the rights held by the physical person and the rights assigned to the shell account this is evidenced apparently by the fact that the capital letters yeah this is evidenced by the fact that capital letters are used to spell an individual's name on official documents which you know that makes sense right we all know capital letters do carry secret Illuminati meanings on government documents.

They're definitely not just used, you know, to make it easier to read. No fucking way. The capitalized version is the name of the shell identity or the straw man and the name without caps. Oh, that's the real name. As the child grows older, most documents will use capital letters, which means those documents, like a driver's license, marriage license, car registration, criminal records, bills, correspondence from the IRS, will pertain to the shell identity and not the sovereign identity. Do you see? Do you get it now?

You fucking blissfully unaware blue-pilled sheep will fuck. So separate from these shells. Sovereigns file documents that no one reads Sometimes signing with actual blood because they're melodramatical fuck yeah, bro Declaring themselves separate from the United States and then they have their new identity published in a local newspaper, which means absolutely nothing then per the SPLC quote To tap into the secret Treasury count that they believe exists. They file a series of complex legal sounding documents Then, per the SPLC, fraud against the government or private companies by creating counterfeit or fraudulent and fictitious documents. These sovereigns are often then prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Guess how many of these clowns have gotten $600,000 or more from their supposed slave shell account? That's right. Yeah, no, you got it. Zero. Collectively, all of their filings have resulted in them receiving $0.00 legally. Again, some of them have scammed the government, but then they pay for it. As written in the SPLC report, the weapon of choice for sovereign citizens is paper.

A simple traffic violation or pet licensing case can end up provoking dozens of court filings containing hundreds of pages of pseudo-legal sovereign arguments. Similarly, when sovereigns are angry with government officials, they revenge or the revenge most often, excuse me, their revenge most often takes the form of paper terrorism. Sovereigns file retaliatory bogus property liens that may not be discovered by their targets until the attempt to sell or mortgage their property or take out a loan. Historically, these liens can be for millions, billions, or even quadrillions of dollars. These extremists bury courts in endlessly large paper filings filled with language

developed by their movement, trying to find the right combination of words, punctuation, paper in color, and timing to get out of following the law. I got the poor court clerks who have to sift through this insanity. Hopefully they don't have to. Hopefully after reading a few paragraphs like, oh that can just put this in the paper shredder. So Mr. Leroy T. Jenkins, do I understand correctly that you are in the process of trying to take out a three quadrillion dollar lien against the manufactured home you own that rests on a lot you lease, a home you bought used for $23,000 in 1988.

In order to purchase the entire state of Missouri, secede from the union, and be county sheriff of a new nation, you'll be calling Jenkins fun and free don't tread on me land. So who leads these dipshits? No one. There's no central leadership for the sovereign citizen movement. No way these anti-establishment anarchists could ever agree on a leader. Instead, there are multiple nationally known figures who all have slightly different views. Some of them recommend committing crimes like tax

evasion, squatting, ignoring laws about licenses and vehicle registrations. And this never works out in the end. People get away with this for a little while, but it never works out long term. One of the current leaders is a woman named Mickey Klan. That's awesome that her last name is Klan. Co-founder of the sovereign organization People's Operation Restoration which believes the US government is a corporation and seeks to replace officials with sovereigns. According to one of her online bios, Mickey is an avid researcher who loves astronomy,

numerology, gematria, mythology, and the prophecy of the book of Revelation. When we look back at each of the key events that have taken place on the earth plane over the past, right when I read something like on the earth plane, I'm like get the fuck out of here, I'm done. Over the past seven years, we realize that there is an entire story being played out in the heavens above, and it is undeniably biblical. We are witnessing a true miracle as humanity rises up from centuries of manipulation and mind control. This great awakening will most certainly reign in the Golden Age,

and it will be the greatest story ever told, all caps. That's why I yelled. In human history, Mickey also has her own YouTube channel where she shares her research, current events, and ascension through meditation, wellness, and spirituality. Cool, so she sounds super stable. You'll probably be shocked to hear

that she got way into the QAnon conspiracy. What? A subgroup of these sovereign citizens have identified themselves in recent decades as Moorish sovereigns or as Moors, an almost exclusively black movement that for understandable reasons wants to separate itself from a movement founded by white supremacists, but they still want to be, you know, every single bit of dumb as their white counterparts. The Moorish sovereign movement came about in the early 90s, 1990s, and like the mainstream sovereign movement, it's a collection of independent groups and individuals.

They too have had clashes with federal and state authorities, some of which have been violent. Moorish sovereigns have also retaliated against the government through quote, paper terrorism. Many believe African Americans are an elite class within American society with special rights and privileges that put them above state and federal authority. Some Moorish people believe that a 1786 treaty between the U.S. and Morocco, the Moroccan-American Treaty of Peace and Friendship, grants them immunity from U.S. law. And it of course does not. It literally has nothing to do with immunity for people in the U.S. like full immunity from just anything with U.S. It's a treaty, one still in place actually,

that was revolved around shipping and letting U.S. ships use Moroccan ports. Some Moorish sovereign citizens merged their beliefs with those of the Moorish Science Temple of America, founded in 1913. We talked about that organization two years ago in episode 339, The Death Angels, when we delved into the story of the zebra murders, a series of racially motivated attacks and murders that occurred in San Francisco, California from 1973 to 1974, the killer's beliefs were beliefs that had evolved out of the Morris Signs Temple of America. One of the primary beliefs of the MSTA is that African Americans descend from the Moroccan Empire.

The organization was founded by noble Drew Ali, born Timothy Drew in late 19th century North Carolina. According to some sources, maybe that's why I guess there's more sovereign citizens in North Carolina today, according to some sources his parents were enslaved and adopted by a Cherokee tribe. Another source claims that his father was Moroccan and his mother was Cherokee. Hard to say what the truth is, since that guy lied just about every time he opened his mouth. Drew Ali claimed

that he met an Egyptian high priest during some mysterious, unverifiable travel and the leader saw him as a reincarnation of multiple religious prophets like Jesus, Buddha, and Muhammad. Fuck yeah bro, just all of them. He was trained in mysticism and given a lost section of the Quran. I love it when people worship a God who forgot to give all the right information to their people and then later essentially had to release like a system update for some reason. Just, ah, fuck guys. He told his online followers that black and Latino people are gods, which he referred to as carbonated beans. It sounds awesome. Sounds refreshing. Like carbonated beverages. Blacks and Latinos get those extra bubbles. Must feel so good. Meanwhile, us whites were flat. Evil. Damn it. Rashaad began preaching to his new followers about extraterrestrial beings. Started to refer to the Earth, as I mentioned up top, as the planet Ki. And started calling himself and his followers collectively as the grand cosmic rising family. When then very quickly, he didn't waste a lot of time building a lot of credibility, He goes straight to the part where he gets to have a harem.

Frishad started to espouse that polygamy is essential for men. Not just okay, not just condoned, essential. And honestly, that's what got me in. That's why I'm a member. A 23 year old University of Cosmic Intelligence devotee Damien Washam killed his mother. 61 year old Helen Nettles Washam with a quote ninja style sword. Damien's father, Hubert Washam, had left the house before the attacks around 4.30pm,

then called his wife before 7, but she didn't answer. Desmond then called him and said that, quote, Damien had killed Mommy. Hubert now, of course, rushed home and found his wife's dead body, as well as his injured son and badly injured brother-in-law. He then called the police to report the horrific scene, adding that half of his brother-in-law. His mom told him he didn't need it, that she wanted him to return it, and that may have been the triggering incident for the attack. Damien is said to have had no known mental health issues prior to this attack. He'd only ever had one minor run-in with the police over marijuana possession but otherwise no criminal record. By all accounts the 23 year old seemed to have been a pretty normal young man. Was a normal kid before that. His parents Helen and Hubert Washam had been married since 1991. Helen, a former substitute teacher, described as sweet, loving, and a

dedicated mother. Hubert said that if anything Helen nurtured Damien too much. Damien's personality and behavior changed after he learned about Rashad Jamal and the University of Cosmic Intelligence in an online chat while he's playing some Call of Duty. personality began to change drastically in the weeks leading up to the murder. because maybe it seemed like there was something disturbing going on with him that we didn't pick up on. He ordered something he definitely has absolutely no use for. I can't understand why he would order it unless he was planning to kill us all. Talking to Damien about it all did not seem to help. Damien began to spout the same beliefs shared by Rashad in his videos. He told his parents that NBA players were nothing more than synthetic robots, that babies born during the pandemic were quote ancient souls. Damien also became a vegetarian and we know how evil those shifty fucks are. And he started using metal kick bars to block the front and back doors of his family's home from the inside. So he's spiraling.

On January 19th, three days after the attack, Damien was released from a local hospital where he had been monitored following the attack because he had needed to be tasered during his arrest since he would not stop running from the evil reptilians and he was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault, possession of marijuana, and attempt to elude, as in elude capture. Damien's bond hearing, the ADA, the associate district attorney or assistant district attorney, excuse me, told the court that the attack had occurred directly after a verbal altercation between Damien and his mother. No, I mean not to place all of the blame, but I definitely think Rashad's videos didn't help. I mean he talks a lot in these videos about black people being hunted. At a February preliminary hearing for Damien, an investigator will testify that an argument between Damien and his mom over weed led to the attack. Damien said he grabbed the sword, chased his mom to the house, to a back hallway, did not recall striking his uncle, but agreed he must have done so after investigators showed him pictures of a bloody bed. Damien's public defender suggested he was suffering from mental illness. She asked the investigator questions about his mental state. Finally, it was reported that investigators in two other states wanted to speak to Damian because they had similar cases of people who committed violent crimes not long after they had

On August 14, 2022, 22-year-old Adam Simje and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Michaela Paulus, students at the University of Central Florida, were taken one last trip before returning to school for the start of a new semester. They were driving near Chee-Haw State Park in Alabama, in the boundaries of the Talladega National Forest, when they were flagged down by 20 year old Yasmine Hitter who claimed her car would not start and then at some point Yasmine mentioned that she was trying to live off of the grid in the woods.

So they had to have known she was incredibly stable. Adam and Michaela still tried to help Yasmine, tried to help her for over 30 minutes. And then when they were still unable to get her car started and ready to call it quits, she pulled out a gun and told those reptilian motherfuckers to give her the keys to their car and their phones. Her car was never gonna start. This was just like a ruse to lure them out in the woods. Yasmin then demanded they walk out into the woods with her. At that point Adam pulled out a gun he had with him for a moment exactly like this for personal protection and he shot Yasmine multiple times, almost took her out but she was still able to return fire and she was able to sadly fire fatal shots into Adam's back before she fell to the ground. Yasmine would later be found alive near

Adam with several gunshot wounds to her torso. Michaela was fortunately physically unharmed. Adam had saved her life by his doing what he did by shooting Yasmin but Michaela was of course incredibly traumatized by what she went through. The woman who shot and killed her boyfriend was not working alone. Yasmin had an accomplice 36 year old Crystal Pinkins who had been standing in the woods during the attempted robbery and subsequent shooting. Yasmin called out to her for help after she exchanged gunfire with Adam and got shot, but then Crystal fled. Michaela was the one who called 911. Michaela's mother, Heather Lambert, told a reporter for local news outlet WBRC, I don't know how Michaela didn't get shot and all

of that, but she had taken off her shirt to stop the bleeding. And she called 911 and was giving him chest compressions. She thinks he was alive for at least 20 minutes, but it took them at least 30 minutes to get there. I don't know what would have happened if he didn't have that gun on him. Fuck, how brutal for Michaela to keep him alive for so long, but it still wasn't quite long enough. And the idiot who shot him, Yasmin, hit her, was laying on the ground near Adam the whole time. Michaela is trying to keep him alive and she gets to live in the end instead of him. And what a cruel twist there. Over the next several hours, sheriff's deputies received information that there might be a

whole group of people living off the grid in the forest. A tracking team from the Alabama Department of Corrections led law enforcement to a large group of tents in the middle of the woods. There they found a woman standing near the tents identified as Crystal Pinkins. As officers ordered her to the ground, a five-year-old boy ran out of the woods carrying a loaded shotgun. Law enforcement ordered the child to put the gun down, but the child instead continued walking towards the woman before then laying the gun on the ground.

Thank God this did not go another way. This kid later identified as Crystal's son. So how the hell did Yasmine and Crystal from Oklahoma and Tennessee respectively end up in the middle of the Alabama woods when just a couple years prior they were living perfectly normal lives. Let's back up. In July of 2020, Yasmine Hitter was moving into her dorm room at Langston University, a historically black college or university in Langston, Oklahoma. She'd worked for the same company in Tennessee for nine years, never had any problems at work. Also hustled on the side, she was a go-getter. On social media, she described herself as a freelance writer and aspiring motivational speaker. Wrote a series of posts for a website called Thought Nova with headlines like, 7 Reasons to Value a Good Morning Text. 10 Ways Proving that Happiness Starts with You.

That post started with, During the current circumstances, it is easy to find yourself feeling gloomy. Not knowing when it will be safe to go to work or even to get your groceries can drive the sanest person out of their mind. It is alright to feel down for a moment but you don't have to remain there. Clearly that was an article written during the pandemic when social isolation was, you know, fuck

with a lot of people's minds. Making it easier for somebody like Rashad Jamal to warp people's minds and recruit them into his crazy worldview with his online madness. Crystal's advice included tips such as talk to someone new, enjoy the simple things, have more sex, explore your creative side, keep a gratitude journal, get a houseplant, meditate, catch some Z's, sing your heart out, and stay in the present moment. But then at some point, both women began watching Rashad Jamal's videos and they followed social media accounts focused on black sovereignty, new age spiritualism, and conspiracy theories. Anyone else, thinking of people they know,

who got into some real weird shit online and completely changed back in 2020-2021, people who by the time all the lockdowns were over, they were just deep into some real weird shit. And still to this day are not the same. I do sometimes wonder how differently the world might look today had the pandemic never happened. Like would batshit conspiracies be as mainstream as they are now? Would those eight states still have introduced legislation regarding fucking chemtrails? At some point during a pandemic transformation, Yasmeen changed her Instagram handle from Y-Eater to Cosmic Goddess. Okay, here we go.

Started mocking people who got COVID vaccines for being stupid. Talking about them being controlled by Bill Gates and all that dumb nonsense, posting pro-flat-earth conspiracy theory content. Soon, Crystal Pinkins appeared in a photo online with one of Rashad's most devoted supporters, a Memphis real estate agent who described herself as a sovereign empress. Yasmeen began resharing a lot of Rashad's videos in the months leading up to the murder and was tagged in a group photo by the Sovereign Empress. In late 2021, early 2022, Yasmine, still in Oklahoma, she's working at Walmart now, she posted on social media asking for any spiritually conscious people in the area to

contact her. In one video she said it's coming, it's getting close. I am lost myself and I need a tribe of people to gather information and figure it out together. Because that's the true way of life and getting back to who we originally were. Oh boy. Her poor family. Seeing posts like that, had to think like, well, alright, Yasmin's gone. She's lost her mind.

By March of 2022, most of Yasmin's videos appeared to have been taken in cars or hotel rooms. One of her last videos, posted April 24 24, 2022, featured her meditating and reading poems in an open field. By May of 2022, both Yasmeen and Crystal had quit their jobs. Yasmeen had dropped out of college and they're traveling together. Then in a post from Colorado, Yasmeen wrote that they had to abandon their car after a search and rescue team came for them.

They got kicked out of their hotel and they were currently sitting inside of Dunkin Donuts. She included her Zelle and Cash App information, asked for people to help her, and then she and Crystal and Crystal's son disappeared. Because the murder Yasmeen committed three months later occurred within the Talladega National Forest, Yasmeen and Crystal both now facing federal charges of murder, two counts of kidnapping and two counts of robbery each. The same month, the Yasmin and Crystal were charged and detained. Their fearless leader, God on Earth, founder of the University of Cosmic Intelligence, Rashad Jamal, formerly the artist known as Rashad Jamal White, made a special announcement.

On August 28, 2022, the University of Cosmic Intelligence YouTube channel posted a video titled, Rashad Jamal found them dinosaur bones! Dinosaur bones! Yeah! We want to see them! Dinosaur bones! They posted a video titled Rashad Jamal Stay to the Cosmic Union Address. In this video, which features a jailhouse recorded in Rashad, he claims he had been detained since May 3rd.

Why? Well, he'd been detained on charges of child molestation and cruelty to children in Barrow County, Georgia. What? A delusional, grifting lunatic, cult leader type got caught fucking some kid? No way! During the jailhouse phone call, Rashad made strange statements about calling human bodies avatars and said that humans are perfect upon conception but are injected with nanobot technology at birth controlled by social programming through sex, violence, and drugs, and movies, and music. So that's, you know, that's why he did what he did with the kid. He continued, I am a god and all of my people, the black and Latino people, are gods and we were made in the image of our Creator. Therefore, I am an extension of her or them and I am the Creator and

destroyer of reality. So I take full responsibility for all events that I've experienced through this lifetime. For this is what we call shadow work in the spiritual realm. He went on to deny the charges filed against him claiming he never and will never harm an innocent child. He maintained his innocence regarding the sexual abuse charges and claimed the allegations stem from a custody dispute He said he's not surprised that people hate him want to punish him and added it don't matter what you call me because the end Of the day Almighty God knows the truth Through his publicist Nate Robinson. Why the fuck does he have a publicist? Rashad also issued a lengthy statement to USA Today that said in part, I want to categorically state that I am not a cult leader. I am not involved in any form of cult activities and my teachings are focused on enlightenment, not control. He once again denied the charges against him, said he is falsely persecuted because of his teachings claiming,

a black activist like myself speaking out against oppression and racism never stood a chance. Dude. You're fucking you're a long ways from Malcolm X my friend. Now finally Let's hear just a bit from Rashad's most recent video as I record this. This was posted yesterday June 23rd. He's been posting almost every day recently. He calls from prison, somebody records the call, and they keep the University of Cosmic Intelligence YouTube channel going. This is the title of Rashad Jamal, the truth about Instagram models, full lecture decoded. Almost exactly an hour long.

We'll listen to less than one minute. And what's advanced to you may seem basic to them. Yes, when a bee stings you, the stinger comes out and it stays inside of you. Well, that stinger is attached to the spine of the bee. And then it started to slow down. I had a lot of, you know, like an online company like YouTube, Meta and stuff started to crack down on disinformation. But snake oil salesmen, you know, David Icke, Acolytes, so-called light workers and star seeds, they found other places to spread information that on the surface might seem harmless. You know, who cares if some people believe that extraterrestrial reptilian humanoids walk amongst us? Who cares if some people think drinking your own piss is better for you than any medicine your doctor could ever prescribe? Well, I do. Right? I care because shit like this gets people killed. People who don't get treatment for very treatable forms of cancer cancer but stay at home and die because they drank their piss instead. People who think that

their mom won't let them smoke weed or have a gun or who want them to return their fucking ninja sword because they're a nefarious, atanic reptilian. I care because ideas like these, if enough people latch on to them, you know, if they end up in the minds of our political leaders who legislate our lives, people worried about the New World Order, people controlling us through chemtrails, people who think Bill Gates and others are controlling the fucking weather or dimming the sun. You know, if enough of these people start to believe this shit, it will affect our world greatly. And I've noticed that since Meta and YouTube and other places have loosened up on policing accounts peddling blatant misinformation in recent months.

There's been a rise of places online like the University of Cosmic Intelligence. More of these creators have been popping up, you know, all over the place. Meta got rid of its third party fact-checking program in the US, April 7th, 2025. TikTok supposedly tries to monitor disinformation, yet it's all over the platform. All Google does, from what I can tell, for the most part now is put up some Wikipedia link underneath the video to, you know, direct people to supposed truth about a subject being talked about but that doesn't do shit. And that's scary. I'm not a fan of censorship but I am a fan of companies choosing to exercise the right to not subject their customers to dangerous bullshit. Like if I owned a coffee shop

and we had a community bulletin board where people could put up flyers advertising local events, I would fucking tear up a pamphlet for a Proud Boys rally at a heartbeat. I'd also tear up an advertisement for some speech about humanity being enslaved by the reptilians. You have a right to believe whatever you fucking want but you don't have a right for some other company to give you a platform for that belief. It's more important than it's been in I think quite some time to value the scientific method, to have respect for formal education, to fund scientific research, not nitpick and demonize it. It's so important to have a society full of people with good educations, people who

have been taught how to protect themselves against dangerous disinformation because if we trend in the other direction, what if we end up with a society where people like Rashad Jamal and his followers are the norm? Where they're seen by most other people as oh very knowledgeable, very wise. I mean if that happens well hello Dark Ages part 2. In his videos he began preaching that he was a divine

Rashad was convicted of child molestation and cruelty to children. The victim was the daughter of his former partner, Darshel Williams, who was dating Rashad when he founded the UCI. Darshel said in an interview that Rashad was abusive to her, began subjecting her and her daughter to bizarre rants, even before he formed his university.

After her daughter told her about the sexual abuse, she went to the police and then was harassed by thousands of Rashad's followers ever since for helping an evil, racist empire destroy an enlightened man for preaching the truth. Number four, many have accused Rashad of inciting violence with his crazy messages. In early 2022, 23-year-old Damian Washam murdered his mother

after obsessively watching Rashad's videos for months. Later that year, UCI follower Yasmeen Hitter murdered a young college student after attempting to rob him in the northern Alabama wilderness, where she had begun living off of the grid in some sovereign, citizen-esque way, also after watching a bunch of Rashad's videos. In number 5, new info, when will Rashad Jamal White be released from prison? On April 9th 2025 two photos were posted on Rashad's Instagram account with the caption free the Messiah and almost home but he's not almost home. The photo shows Rashad with his wife and appears to be

taken from inside prison. A post from May 3rd marks the third anniversary of Rashad's arrest. Part of the caption reads Rashad Jamal has been on 24-hour lockdown the entire three years. They have publicly humiliated and crucified him in front of the whole world by labeling him a cult leader and wrongfully convicting him of a sexual allegation, which was never proven in court. They then violated his right to freedom of religion by cutting his locks against his will. They shadow banned all his social media accounts, and he has been mistreated while housed

in Georgia Department of Corrections. He is the only one in Georgia prison systems being treated this way. Let that sink in. He was proven to have molested his 10 year old stepdaughter in court. The jury found him guilty. And I haven't seen any pics of him nailed to a cross

so I don't think he's been crucified. According to information found on the Georgia Department of Corrections website, if he doesn't get in any more trouble, he'll be out of prison at the very latest, May 2nd, 2040. A lot of people hope he'll be out a lot sooner. If you take a look on his social media profiles, you can see thousands of people still believe in his innocence. There's a petition on Change.org demanding a retrial, has nearly 4,000 signatures. Another petition on the site moveon.org has almost 12,000 signatures, still receiving support currently.

Luckily, I don't think it matters how many people sign them. For the moment, we at least still have judges who do not believe in Rashad's crazy ass claims. Not yet. I was struggling in my marriage, struggling in grad school, struggling creatively, and struggling with my own self-identity. I didn't like the person I saw in the mirror. I was burnt out, kept sinking further and further into depression. I felt like a burden and a disappointment. What a bummer. Luckily I'm married to the single most incredible person on this planet. She

saw the warning signs, convinced me to get help. I started going to therapy and now I can write you this message as a master in fine arts, an MFA, or a motherfucking artist. I start my first big boy job in August. I will be a carpentry shop supervisor at a local community college. I could not be more proud and thankful for all that lies in front of me. The next chapter is going to be amazing. Your show and your comedy have been a constant in my life and while I was pulling myself out of the darkness, you helped me laugh and learn. I asked for political messages so I could report anyone who doesn't think things are perfect right now to Homeland Security in the hopes they will be publicly executed for treason. Anyway, Al wrote, Hi Dan, this is my third attempt writing this. On a recent episode you opened the door for us to have a conversation about the current situation in the US. It was difficult putting my thoughts together, but a few recent events

really helped me frame my position. The first event was the preamble leading up to the 2024 election. Having an opinion different from my own is understandable. Having a different perspective is equally understandable. But this time I believe we'd gone too far. Many of us Americans became so heavily entrenched in our positions that rational conversation was too often a bridge too far.

This unbudging stance led so many decent humans to place political influencers, talking heads, and politicians on pedestals typically reserved for religious deities. These people are not demigods. I propose they are probably more fallible than the rest of us since they are completely in the public sphere. Similarly, even a broken clock is right twice a day, so even a moron has the ability to occasionally make a valid argument. Many of us fell into and many likely still find ourselves in a trap of stagnation where rationality is given to emotion and the ability to concede to a valid opposing point is comparable to admitting the tooth fairy is real.

A second event is the turmoil following the election. Decent people are being vilified for something they have no control over, such as a place of birth, or made into pariahs for vocalizing a viewpoint unparalleled to the dominant norm. Both of these factors are exactly why the United States exists. A large number of these same decent people are being detained by the aforementioned or for the aforementioned reasons. Just today a former Marine's wife and mother of two small children was detained by ICE when she was brought here as a child under asylum. If we weren't living through it I doubt I'd believe it. Finally the twisting of reality is completely absurd. I don't mean foreign states but Americans spin-doctoring to a degree that to a discerning ear even honestly

sounds like a lie. We've moved well beyond taking it with a grain of salt. For me these events are very troubling. I love my country for what it can be and deeply and I'm deeply saddened by our collective failure to live up to the idea that we're a nation of independence, freedom, and decency. We gave up the moniker of brave and our inability to face our nation's past mistakes and troublesome history. I hate having hope, but I do have hope for our future and truly want the opposite end of today's nightmare to be a better tomorrow. Sincerely, another meat sack who happens to be American. P.S. And they have their biases and they have their agendas and all that goes with being human. All of them. That goes for Trump, goes for every Republican,

goes for every Democrat. We cannot improve things overall if we can't hear the other side. If we only hold our side up as like, oh my god they're the greatest ever and the other side is the worst ever. Right? We have to like actually listen, talk, be like, okay, I see your point sometimes. Or, you know, try to get the other person to see our point. Literally the best relationship advice I ever got was when having an argument with your partner over something you don't see eye to eye on, entertain the possibility that they're right and you're wrong.

As opposed to just going in guns blazing with this attitude of like, I'm definitely right. You're definitely gonna apologize Right since reading that advice. I've had so many heated conversations with Lindsay. We're going in I definitely felt like no fucking way. She has a leg to stand on here. She is 100% wrong Obviously, and she should admit it and apologize and you know what and sometimes she has been wrong But other times I was way off base And you know what? And sometimes she has been wrong. But other times I was way off base. And most of the time we were both wrong in some ways and both right in other ways. And we would compromise, improve our relationship, get better and stronger. And I would love

to see some version of that on a national level. And I know we're all not going to agree on everything. And I know there are some things that many people very strongly feel are atrocious and there is no compromise and I understand that and I'm with you. vision. Criticize and protest them when they don't follow through. You know, apathy and disillusionment is what I think a lot of them want. And I love seeing more people of various ideologies, right, getting more involved. And actually, maybe, I don't know, maybe it's just in our community. But I've also noticed like just emails coming in and stuff. They're less aggressive. They're just more like, I don't know, man. I don't know what's going on. You know, I voted for him. I didn't vote for him. You know, whatever, either way. You know, I like this. I didn't like this. And, but now I can see some other people's points. It's less aggressive than it was, I don't know, maybe even three, four months ago or over the last, I don't know, many years.

Where seven, eight years, nine years, fucking whatever. When like if you spoke about something that didn't align with the other side, man, we would get a lot of messages that I've just never shared because I didn't want to like promote a cycle of just negativity. But a lot of stuff would just, you know, just basically being like, fuck you, man. Thought you were a fucking one of the good people. Just like, just emotional anger. And I'm seeing less of that.
