They have something called, they're creating something called algebra victory, okay? And it's a way for homeschool parents that teach their children algebra and adults algebra. They're very passionate about it. We get into a whole bunch of stuff about, you know, mathematical literacy, and ignorance and what that's all about and how it's all plays into control. Starting point is 00:05:30 Anyway, Algebra Victory.org. And so I've been working on this on and off for my whole life, or my whole adult life. And this is a new way to teach algebra that is power profoundly effective. We're building it, a system that will teach algebra online. I'll be the teach algebra that is profoundly effective. We're building it, a system that will teach algebra online. I'll be the teacher, there are over 500 videos, actually 600 videos, will be in the 81 lessons. We'll start off with an online system

Starting point is 00:05:57 that we market to homeschools, home schools, which is exploding right now. Home school parents are looking for algebra curriculum and they don't have any good options out there, especially if the kids are average. See, the way math is taught today and has been taught for, well, it's gotten worse today. In fact, let me just put it right on the line.

Starting point is 00:06:18 Math education is a disaster. It's been a disaster for a long time, going back 50, 60 years at least. And what happens is, I define what I call the math smart 10% of students. Those are the kids that are able to learn algebra. Even if it's poorly taught, sometimes they need to get tutoring. Sometimes they have a hard time. But the middle 80% of students, they wipe out. They just don't learn algebra.

Starting point is 00:06:45 Just forget it, they may scrape by, they may get, you know, whatever, they slide by somehow, but what they mainly learn, they don't learn math, they learn to fear math. They learn that, oh, I can't do this. And they get locked out of STEM fields, which is science, technology, engineering, mathematics. And so, but I know how to teach these kids. I know how to teach the average kids so that they will succeed it. This is a big subject, why it's hard to teach algebra.

Starting point is 00:07:14 It's a big thing, and I've solved that problem. And what I want to do now is to put my, make my masterpiece as an online system. And then later, so home schools will be the first, our first target for marketing, but also adult students who want to learn algebra, they can do it too. And so, and then later we'll develop more advanced, or other versions of algebra victory to reach into the public school

Starting point is 00:07:46 and private school market. We'll develop a system that trains and certifies math teachers. And so a math teacher at some high school somewhere and we'll market this two math teachers. They can go, oh my goodness, I can go get continuing education credits, which will increase my salary and become an algebra victory certified teacher. And then we lobby the school districts to accept this, and then they will buy algebra victory systems for their students to use in the classroom. And now instead of me teaching algebra, I'm there in the background, but now the teacher suddenly is empowered. And their students will love their class.

Starting point is 00:08:26 They'll have, they'll become really outstanding teachers and they'll be successful teaching the average kids. This will bring job fulfillment and joy to these teachers, a lot of whom are, they get very frustrated because the kids don't learn it. And they're given textbooks that are bad. They're never trained how to teach math. They get education courses in the university that are basically worthless. And so all of a sudden they will be empowered to be effective at teaching algebra. And there's a lot to it. There's a tremendous amount to it.

Starting point is 00:08:58 So that's where we're going with this. And we have, we need help from people and we'll talk about there's seven ways people can help and we'll get to that in the right time so I don't want to dominate the conversation here. No it's totally fine and I love what you're saying and you know this is a very spiritual show and I think what you're talking about right here is a spiritual war and part the spiritual war and that is that they are th th th th they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are thi they are they are thi thi thi thi thi they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are they are thi are thi are thi are thi are thi are thi are try try try try try try thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi thi is that they are trying to keep us ignorant. You're right. When you're ignorant, you're easily more manipulated and you fall for the tricks a little bit

Starting point is 00:09:33 more. And so when you say, because you know, my parents were both teachers and they really cared about their kids. My father took a lot of pride in teaching children business and learning how to run businesses and he would take us from our very small little town in upstate New York and it would take us to Toronto, Canada. And it was the first time a lot of those kids got out of the little city and learned that there was a big world out there and they learned how to run a business and that's very important but they nobody wanted kids to learn that why aren't we taught these things in school why aren't we taught business why

Starting point is 00:10:13 we taught math properly why we taught spelling and reading and all that stuff that's very important they're getting rid of cursive why are they doing that all this are they doing that? All this is... My law. All that? Law? Law? Yeah, they're getting rid of all that. They never talk law. Why is that?

Starting point is 00:10:32 And I think, you know, I have a very good. You know, Sam, there are two who are trying to destroy our civilization intentionally, they want everything dumbed down. And that is a big problem. It's not the only problem, no. And let's say, talk about not teaching cursive. It's not because the education, educautors don't know how to teach terthe-c Curses was taught very successfully for hundreds of years, a reading or arithmetic, but not algebra. Algebra, yeah, algebra, this is not just from the tyrants. This is not just from them. This is a deeper problem. And this problem existed 50, 60 years ago when there wasn't so much influence of the cabal and educators were more sincere about teaching,

Starting point is 00:11:27 but the problem is in the, how do you teach the algebra to average kids? It's a big, so that's a big thing. So we have two battles to fight. And so we're gonna focus on algebra first, or a number of reasons why we're doing that. By the way, before kids can take algebra victory, they have have to have to have their, and their, and their, and th.., and their, and th.., their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi. We're, thi. We're thia, their, their, thia, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thiiii.oomomoomoome, thea, theaugh, thooooooomoomorrow, thea, thea.oooooooomorrow, their theirthat. By the way, before kids can take algebra victory, they have to pass an admission exam in basic arithmetic. We will later create

Starting point is 00:11:52 a course in basic arithmetic, but there are plenty of resources out there for learning basic arithmetic. And there are literally tens of thousands of elementary school teachers out there who are quite competent in teaching basic arithmetic. But algebra is another story. I agree with you. Home schooling is very important. Like I was saying, a good friend of mine who helped change my life. She is starting a school here, a homeschool school here in Los Angeles. So I'm gonna pass on your stuff to her and see if that might be able to help her with her group. I think last time I talked to her, she had like 30 kids and it was going to-

Starting point is 00:12:35 It's a very important thing. Let me point something out. Algebra victory to today. We are planning to launch algebra victory in the fall near the end of the year, 20 to 2023. We need to raise investment money and the timing depends on on that. So that's one of the ways that people can help us if they want to invest. We're projecting very high returns. And so that's all on the website. Starting point is 00:13:16 Well, I'm going to still tell her about what you're working on. Thank you. That when it does happen, it will be something that she will look out for and love to do. Who do you think benefits from people being ignorant and mathematically illiterate? The people who are creating all these hoaxes and on scams and puppets in government that just want us to go along with the program and don't ask questions,

Starting point is 00:14:08 you're banned, your censored if you ask questions. And most people, you know, they don't have the mathematical sophistication to actually look at, read the signs and have a realistic perspective of what all that stuff means. Oh wait, all this this research is actually a bunch of garbage that was funded by people who have interest in it the the the the the the the the the the the the th. their their th. th. their their their their th. And th. And their thi. And thi. And thi. And thi. And thi. thi. thi. And thi. thi's thi's thi's thi's thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. thi. thi's the. the. the. the. the. their, their the. the. their the. the. the. the. the. ththis, oh wait, all this, this research is actually a bunch of garbage that was funded by people who have interest in it. Yes. And they're evil, evil people. It's a fraud. Like, like climate change. Human cause climate change.

Starting point is 00:14:34 The greatest fraud, well, second, now it's demoted to the second greatest fraud in the history of science. It's been surpassed by COVID. It's all the same thing. It's all these like windmills that people can't that want to fight that you know it's nothing tangible, nothing they could ever toucest. they could actually see a measurable, um, statistical results of. It's just everything is theory. Everything's based off a clip, right? It's like, oh my god, the polar bears or oh my god,

Starting point is 00:15:11 the, you know, the Antarctica is melting and all that stuff. But when you, you know, you see pictures of like Statue Liberty or Plymouth Rock and they're like over 100 years old, and the sea wall the sea levels the exact same you start to realize that everything is manipulation and the dumb people are see I have this theory that and I would love to say it to you because I think it'd be disingenuous if I didn't bring it up but my theory is that people aren't getting dumber they're just getting in saturated in useless knowledge right so like so like so like so it's that that that that that that so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it so it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's like the the the the the the to it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like it's like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like like it's the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the they, it's they, it's they, th, th is th is th is th is th is thi They're just getting saturated in useless knowledge, right? So like, so it's like, people don't know algebra, but they know who the Kardashians are dating.

Starting point is 00:15:53 And like 100, exactly. So nobody knew any of that stuff, because all we have was a newspaper and there was a little bit more integrity or maybe a lot more integrity. But now we're just getting inundated with stupid and we're drowning it. Absolutely. Absolutely. Kids can't multiply anymore, barely. So what algebra victory, when we teach algebra, we teach logical, logical thinking and critical thinking and and learning the students learn to think for themselves now how do you do that

Starting point is 00:16:32 instead of thinking whatever the system the way it is teaches people to think the way the people running in the world want them to think which is not think right which is not actually thinking and so how do we do we teach that? the algebra is true the the algebra is the the th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is th is thi thi thi the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi thi the thi thi thi the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the thea thea thea thi thi, which is not actually thinking. And so how do we teach that? The algebra is true, but it's not true because I, Mark Emerson, am your teacher. I have a degree in mathematics from UCLA, and I wrote the algebra victory course. And so therefore, what did I tell you about algebra is true?

Starting point is 00:17:02 No. That's not what it is. The algebra is thage is true thage is true thage is true thage is true tre is true tre is true tre is tre is tre is true is true is true is true. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. T. true. true is true. true is true. thi. theateate. that's thatue. No, that's not what it is. The algebra is true all by itself. The true, the algebra is true, is absolutely true. The algebra has God in it. And so what I do is I teach the students and I do this hundreds of times through the course. I lead them to a point where they look at something and then I go, oh, oh, I see. Wow, that is so cool. And now they get it, now they own it. I took them and they saw it.

Starting point is 00:17:36 It's like I led someone to a hidden waterfall. And then I said, look, and they go, wow, so beautiful. I didn't make the waterfall. Okay, I just knew the path to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get to get the the to get the the to get the the the the the to get the so beautiful. I didn't make the waterfall. OK, I just knew the path to get them so they could experience it for themselves. And when they do that, they realize, now they have a frame of reference to algebra, which is immovable. It's absolute.

Starting point is 00:17:58 It doesn't depend on people's opinions and anything like that. If someone comes along and tells them something something thii, thoomomomom, thoooo, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho. tho. thi, thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, their, their, their, their their, their their their their their, their their. th. th. th. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. they thi, they thi, they If someone comes along and tells them something ridiculous, tries to make them something that's false, algebraically, they'll look at that and go, you're wrong, or you're lying to me, because they know better. And so that's the kind of thinking that we need to build in people. It's actually easier to do it with algebra than just about any other subject. And so then it's much harder in science, it's even harder in any kind of social or political world or in law or... People get emotionally invested in these things. Right.

Starting point is 00:18:34 A few people are emotionally invested in how math works. Right. I hadn't actually thought about that, John. That's a very good point. The only emotional baggage we have to deal with is people who already took algebra and developed math fear. So I have to wash away the math fear. But if I'm dealing with kids the first time, that's not an issue. Yeah, I totally agree.

Starting point is 00:18:58 The mathematics, there's no emotions to it. It's a set result based on a set of rules and that's why I love it. And that's why I think it's great. Now, I'm not the greatest of math. I'll be honest with you, but this has my interest and it's something I will check into. I had two daughters. They're both three years old and I'm ready to start figuring out how we're going to make them super ninjas. One is super analytical, the other one is a juggernaut. So it's gonna be interesting, yeah, we get both of them to pay attention to this stuff, but I am very, very, very interesting. And as, and Mark, your dad, right, Mark, his dad, I wanna make sure.

Starting point is 00:19:35 Yeah, I'm the dad, Mark. Okay, so I, I, you know, man, I just turned 50, I'm, I'm, I'm, man, I'm, man, I, man, I, man, I, man, I, man, I, I, I, man, I, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. Um you know and I sit there and I just think of like where we are in our society and like like you have so much wisdom and there's so many like last night I'm a recovering alcoholic I went went to a sober stand-up comedy show in a giant theater last night. There was like, you know, 500 people at the show and it was such a blessing and I was able to sit down with the guys who started the show almost 30 years ago and they're now in their 60s. And I sat down and I got to listen to them talk about how much they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they, what they were they, what they, what they were they were their, their, they're now in their 60s. And I sat down and I got to listen to them talk about how much they, what they did, why they came up with this show and why it was so successful, why it lost its way.

Starting point is 00:20:34 And now why they're getting it back. And I just think of our society right now and how what I call cultural Marxism, some people call it. their that, some people call it college Marxism, whatever it is, but there's so much that's going on that is detaching older generations from newer generations and that again is being done by the powers to be because all intentional. All intentional. They want, they don't want to help you have a running start why their children get all the benefits of a running start. They don't want to help you have a running start. Why their children get all the benefits of a running start.

Starting point is 00:21:08 They don't want the masses children getting the benefit of a running start and like all the wisdom that gets passed down from generation to generation to generation. And again, with Matthew cannot do that. But you know, with culture and entertainment when they make the, you know, the little mermaid black when she was white. And I don't really care, given by itself, it really doesn't matter. That's just a fictional character. But when you put it all together and all the times of doing it, you have to ask yourself, why is it's being done? And it's being done so that you're younger generations don't have the knowledge of

Starting point is 00:21:45 older generations and they all have to start with a new new set of knowledge and that is dangerous because it is beyond dangerous Sam it's it's deadly. They actually are trying to to ruin math there there's some people Bill Gates actually endorsed this that math is racist if you can believe that. Yeah. It's like this is the new. It's like thi, thi, it's to to to to to to to to the the the their thi, thi, thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi the, the, the, that, that, that, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. And th. And th. And th. And th. And the the thi all thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi, Bill Gates actually endorsed this, that math is racist, if you can believe that. Yeah. And it's just like, this is the beginning of what I believe is the Great Lightning, and people are waking up to what they're doing because they're getting farther and farther away from logic,

Starting point is 00:22:22 right, which is mathematics in a way too, logical. It is. Oh, it is. So they're getting farther and farther away from this, and they're looking more and more ridiculous. And, you know, it's like I think most people just want to live their life and let those, you know, I'm a spiritual man. I've got my heart in my life and, you know, everyone could do whatever they want with you know with whoever they want with consenting adults that's not my my thing but you know what's being done is Milochian Luciferian dark arts on purpose to corrupt and destroy and well I'll take difference with you. No, they can't do that.

Starting point is 00:23:06 These people need to be stopped and they need to be brought to justice in mass. No, no, no. Tens of thousands of people need to be arrested. And some of them, well, I won't go into much detail, but the very great retribution has to happen. committing extreme crimes. If you bump through a class and only learn to fear it, you get no benefit, you get a negative. So now there are three

Starting point is 00:30:30 reasons for algebra mountain. Arithmetic is a prerequisite to algebra, but there are two parts of arithmetic, there's basic arithmetic and there's advanced arithmetic. Basic arithmetic is whole numbers and operations add, subtract, multiply, divide, including a long division. And advanced arithmetic is fractions and decimals. Now, if you take all of that, that's usually taught over a period of about five or six years, let's say six years, there are about 300 concepts, facts and skills that students need to learn in arithmetic. and you s- let's say six years, there are about 300 concepts, facts, and skills that students need to learn in arithmetic.

Starting point is 00:31:08 And you spread that over six years, that's an average of about 50 concepts, facts, and skills per year. Then comes algebra. Now in algebra, there are about 5,000 concepts, facts, and skills to learn. So suddenly, there's a triple whammy. The first whammy is, they got, look, they've, they, they, they, they, they, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're they're, they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they, they're to they're to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, to learn, th. th. th. they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're they're th. they're that, that, that, to say, to say, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the, thousand concepts, facts and skills to learn. Starting point is 00:31:33 So instead of going, you know, 50 year per year, if you take 5,000, that's gonna be, that's 5,000, a hundred times more. It's a hundred times faster they have to learn. And the third whammy, arithmetic doesn't involve any letters. In algebra we have X and Y, and A, and B, and C. What are the letters? There are lots of people who went through algebra and they never understood what the letters meant. And if you don't understand the letters, you completely don't get algebra at all. So this is why Algebra Mountain is there. Now how do you teach all this? It's not straightforward. I've developed a technique over many, many years at which we now will, once we have

So now about arithmetic. It turns out that it's easier to teach the advanced arithmetic, the fractions and decimals with the algebra. So I actually include that in algebra victory, which means that they only have to pass an admission exam in basic arithmetic. They don't have to know fractions or decibels. That lowers the entrance age.

Starting point is 00:32:53 Kids can be younger. If they're nine or ten years old and they know how to do long division, go ahead, take the admission exam and begin algebra. They can do it. And they just love the run around and bounce around. Starting point is 00:36:00 So we got into a spiritual commitment to this. We got into a little bit earlier. I think God is numbers. You know, I'm somebody believes that we could be living in a simulation, binary ones and zeros and all that stuff. I do believe in all that, believe the fabric of, you know, I'm very much into Tesla's numbers of the universe, three, six, nine. I do a daily, I sit down, I do a daily goals, daily, you know, grad to list, a daily goals list in nines. I do a life goals, which is 27, all this is 36 and 9s. Tell me what is your spiritual commitment to this algebra and to algebra victory? Well, let me start by telling you my spiritual background. I was raised as an atheist.

Starting point is 00:36:52 My father's religion was bashing religion. And when I was studying mathematics at UCLA, I started experiencing God in the mathematics myself. That was the beginning of my spiritual journey. I've come a long, long way from them. I do a lot of, uh, their, the spiritual commitment, I do a lot of, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, a, a, the, the the the the the the the the spiritual, the spiritual, the spiritual, the spiritual, to, to, to, to to, the spiritual, to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their their was the beginning of my spiritual journey. I've come a long, long way from them. I do a lot of prayer and meditation and studying scripture and breathing, spiritual breathing practices and yoga.

Starting point is 00:37:20 And I've been doing this for a very long time, and it has completely transformed my life. I'm a completely different human being than I was 50 years ago in on so many levels. And my heart is so expanded. I don't just don't get angry anymore. And so these are all blessings. And but the way I teach the algebra, the, we like to teach, we teach two aspects to the algebra, we call the right hand and the left hand. The right hand side, I'm teaching them how to do all the different kinds of problems. And we put it together in the flow chart with all of the rules so that they can see, oh,

Starting point is 00:37:58 I see how this all fits together. They can in the end, they can hold the whole algebra in their right hand. And so that's one part. That's the majority of the ever, that's where the problems are, the exams are. The other part, the left hand is what I call, we teach the mysteries. Now, I don't test them on this, but we teach them what the mysteries are. What happens? Well, let me ask you the problems is actually the first mystery question in lesson one. We look at the number five. Well, you see fives all over the place. Every book in the library has a page five. There's five.

Starting point is 00:38:33 I mean, I got five hands on fingers on this hand. I see you have five fingers on both of your hands. Okay. So my question is, how many of the number five are there in the entire universe? So what do I mean by the number five? See, when I hold up five fingers, or I write a numeral five on a paper or print it, or I write the word FIV out, or I say Cinco in Spanish, then all of those are representation for something that's behind them. The number five is behind all that.

Starting point is 00:39:17 The number of figures that I have here, this five, it's the same thing as on this hand. It's the same thing as the word Cinco. It's the same thing as on this hand. It's the same thing as the word Cinco. It's the same thing as each page five and every book in the library. In fact, if you go to another civilization on another planet and another part of the galaxy, and I believe they exist, then for them it's the same thing too.

Starting point is 00:39:41 Maybe they have six fingers on their hands, but the number five is sustained. There is only one number five in the entire universe, and it's part of God. The five is an aspect of God that shines through in innumerable ways, and exemplifies itself in infinite ways all throughout the universe. Eternally unchanging. Exactly. Everything in this material universe is constantly changing, but the numbers, they're eternal. Yeah, they just sit there fixed. Immovable. Yeah. And so that's, that is a mystery question.

Starting point is 00:40:18 There are lots of fascinating mystery questions. Sometimes I pose a mystery question and not I don't answer it. I don't answer until later in the course. Because I want kids to experience the wonder. Wow. I wonder about that. What is that? And then sometimes I might get irritated at me. Well, I want to know right now. I want you to wonder about it because while you're wondering about it, it's expanding your mind. It's good for you. It's good for you to have questions whose answers you don't have immediately and sit with them and wonder about it. And then later in the course at the right time, okay, let's go look at this again. Oh, and then we weave these things together in the course. It's very important.

Starting point is 00:41:01 And this helps the students to experience the divinity in the course. It's very important and this helps the students to experience the divinity in the algebra. Some of them will, some of them won't, but the ones who are more sensitive, that are more spiritually ready, we'll start to experience the divinity there. And that's very beautiful. And this is something that was more, you know, traditionally in Western civilization, obviously, you know, only the higher class would be educated, you know, going th.. thiiiiiii thi thi thi thi thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. Some the the the thi. Some thi. Some thi, thi. Some thi. Some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi, some thi. Some thi. Some th. Some th. Some th. Some, the. obviously, you know, only the higher class would be educated, you know, going back a couple hundred years, and they would learn not just strictly, you go on to this one subject and become an expert. They would learn all the subjects. And the theology was tied because they were all, you know, Christians or Catholics, obviously. And so these deep mysteries and theological implications in the mathematics was part of the discussion. And these great mathematicians in history, and you probably won't learn about it in a public school,

Starting point is 00:41:55 but some of them were, you know, theologians and talking about how to prove that God exists, and all these fascinating ideas. And there was also a rich culture in ancient India that wasn't Christian, but they were very spiritual. And they also had some advanced knowledge of mathematics in ancient India as well. Many ancient cultures. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:42:18 Many, much of the Abraham of religions go all the way back to Hinduism. There's a lot of connections between that as well. And I completely agree with everything you're saying. Now, Mark, I got a question for you, and we're gonna get back into algebra. But as somebody who was an atheist, but now has God, what is your biggest evidence for God, for you in that, made you change the way you see? Starting point is 00:42:47 lot like you. I've never been an atheist. I've always believed in God, but I had a problem, let's say at some points with organized religion and the the inserting of a man between me and God and all that stuff. And now I'm very okay with whatever makes you a good person and treat people well, make the world a better place. And again, I'm not into telling people how to live their life. I can only do mine and my connection with God. And I practice, I practice abundance, which is I give away.

Starting point is 00:43:22 I love to help other people. I try to do it every day, multiple times a day. But, you know, I've had people talk to me and they're like, I'm an atheist and I've had discussions. I won't debate God with people because I'm not really here to convince anybody of anything. I think that's your own personal journey, but, you know, as somebody who was an atheist, what do you think is the strongest evidence for God or what made you change your idea of who we are and why we are and why we're here? It's an absolutely fantastic question and I'm not sure how I'm going to answer it. So the most important aspect is that I experience God. I can feel the divinity within me and within the environment in which I live.

Starting point is 00:44:15 I experience miracles. I experience prayers being answered, sometimes not as fast as I would like. And, and it's a very personal relationship. And so, and it didn't come from anybody telling me this is how it is. It just evolved as my own experiences. I went deeper and deeper into my consciousness, especially through meditation.

Starting point is 00:44:41 So advanced meditation techniques. And being around highly developed spiritual beings. By the way, regarding organized religion, I have a spiritual teacher who's a very advanced being from India, who he likes to say that religion is like the banana peel and spirituality is like the banana. The purpose of religion when Dunmaride is to protect spirituality and to help people to develop spirituality. But there are a lot of people running out in the world hanging on to the banana peel and they don't even know the banana peel. They're just running around with the banana peel and, you know, whatever they're doing.

Starting point is 00:45:26 And so we need to, we need to recognize that these different religions, if they're legitimately founded, that's their purpose, is to get us to develop and grow as spiritual beings and become closer and more integrated with with the divine, which is our birthright, because we actually are divine beings. We are children of God. And so the question is, how awake are we to that? And that takes development, it takes maturity. Aren't you gonna mention you discovered God through calculus? Well, this gets into, oh, yeah, well, okay.

Starting point is 00:46:01 I gotta hear this, Mark please well that this was my first experience of God but he didn't ask it that way he asked it what is your strongest reason for knowing God is there I think you know the well man a god in calculus I'd love to hear it if you don't mind did you take calculus did you takulus well that I flung first grade and I can't believe I think calculus. I'd love to hear it if you if you don't mind. Did you take calculus? Brother, I flung first grade and I can't believe I got a degree in college. I worked really hard. My skill sets are a little different, but the mother of the children is super smart, so hopefully my kids will get that part from the mother and will get my wit and sense of humor from me and a work ethic

Starting point is 00:46:48 from me. So, but I am not interested in anything. I love, I love learning and I love the everything that comes along with it. And, you know, to be honest with you, sometimes I feel I hit like, I can feel me hitting this ceiling of when I'm trying to understand certain concepts, but I'm always trying, you know, to expand my mind. That's good. You know, you really enjoy taking algebra victory yourself. I think I will. It will take it's going to take some time. And as as an adult you may not have that time. I'm 50 years old and I really do feel like I'm starting a whole new life.

Starting point is 00:47:33 Like all these things that I want to do. I got sober from drugs and alcohol, started taking Jiu Jihad off Maga. I want to learn Spanish, piano. And I want to learn algebra, piano, and I want to learn algebra, man, I'll get into learning algebra. I want to learn all these amazing things. Wonderful. You know, as much as Jonathan's suggesting,

Starting point is 00:47:56 I talk about calculus, I'm just, it's difficult to do without pencil and paper or a whiteboard. And, well, Calculus is basically a magic trick that mathematicians discovered is that you can take infinitely many numbers and then do a calculation and end with a single number result from that infinite series of numbers. Yeah, it was, calculus does something that I believed was impossible. What my atheist father showed me when I was in the

Starting point is 00:48:25 ninth grade what the concept of calculus was. And I looked at it and I said I don't believe that. I said if you, you know, he talked about going step by step by step, getting closer and closer to something. And I said, well, why are you doing that? Just go right to the end point. And when you get to the end point it blows up, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th, it doesn't th tho, it doesn't tho, it doesn't tho, it doesn't tho, it doesn't thi, thi. thi. tho, thi, thi, the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. the. the. the. thea. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. tea. thea. thea. the. the. go right to the end point. And when you get to the end point, it blows up. It doesn't work. And so I didn't believe it. And then it's a calculus in high school, an AP calculus course. It was terrible. The book was terrible. They never proved anything.

Starting point is 00:48:55 And I didn't believe what was going on. And I was sitting next to a girl who was a valadolololol, I, I, I, toe, I, toe, I, toe, told, told, to, to, to, the to, to, the, the, the, to, the, the, to, the, the, to, to, the, the, to, the, the, the, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, and, and I, and I, and, the, and, the, the, and, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, to, the, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, to, who was a valedictorian, and she was always asking me for help on the problems. And then one day the teacher comes by to collect the forms and the checks for the AP exam, and it comes to me, he says, well, where's your form and your check? I said, I didn't have one. I said, I'm not taking the AP exam. He said, what, the whole class looked at me like in complete astonishment. Why aren't you taking it? And I said, well, I don't understand this. I'm going to take it over at UCLA, which I did. And I got in an honors calculus class at UCLA

Starting point is 00:49:32 with an absolutely incredible professor named Al Hales. And he started on the first day of class. And he said, we're going to start with these axioms. And he the the the the the the they, they, they, they, they, they, they, their their their, their, their, their, their, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I, th. I I, th. I I, th. I I, th. I, th. I I, th. I, th. I, th. I. I was, th. th. th. th. tho, to, to, to, told. toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I'm. I'm. I'm. t. t. these axioms and I'm going to prove everything. And he literally did it. And when I saw the proofs of those things that I believed were impossible, it completely changed me. It is mind-boggling. What he did with, I'll just give you some of the symbols involved, he did it with epsons and deltas and with existential quantifiers

Starting point is 00:50:05 and universal quantifiers and absolute values and inequalities. And with all of that, put it together in a magical formula, it was just mind-boggling. And I realized, oh my God, it is actually possible to transcend and get to what's actually at that point without it blowing up. And this this this was appeared completely impossible to me and yet it was possible and that was that was the beginning. That's amazing. That is absolutely amazing. And the way calculus is taught, most calculus students never even see those proofs. Oh well I know how to do calculus.

Starting point is 00:50:45 I take a derivative, okay, take, you know, x squared, x, x, x, x, plus, 3 x, and then I took the 3 x, and then I take the 3x, I take off that x, so you're going to get 2x plus 3 isthat it's a slope, but you don't understand where that came from or why that's true. And that's deep. I love it. And I think that's passion right there.

Starting point is 00:51:12 And I think why you're good at what you do. And I respect that. But it's not just that I'm passionate. It's because I have spent thousands thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thous thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands thousands and thousands. Tell me a little bit about that, including the explicit discrimination in favor of millionaires? Security's laws, yeah. Yeah, securities laws are indeed the gatekeeper. What are security laws for those who may not be familiar with that?

Starting point is 00:54:33 If you want to start a business and raise money from investors, then if you don't know, you will soon find out that you are going to be bumped up against these laws that most people never have any contact with. They're called securities laws, and they regulate who can sell and buy securities. And the rules are tough. And what they do is they make it easy for rich people. They don't, if you, if all your investors are rich people, it's much easier. But if you want, like what I'm doing now is I'm actually announcing a website, algebra victory.org, where your listeners

Starting point is 00:55:14 can go and they can actually make an investment. All the information is there, the prospectus is there, the investment form is there, except in certain states. And that's, what I'm doing is sort of, you're not supposed to do that. I'm working against the way they want it to work. They want to keep the big investment opportunities away from the masses. Let the rich people invest in the early stages and the companies, and most companies will get squashed because they are unable to raise the money. But if some do and they become successful, then what happens is the rich people want to get out or at least sell part of their investment.

Starting point is 00:55:57 And so then they go and they do something called an initial public offering, an IPO, where they put the stock on the stock exchange. And then that gets a big, uh big, uh big, uh big, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, a, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, their, their, their, their their their their, their their their their their their their their their their their their their, their their, their, their, their, their their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, th. the, the, the.e. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the. the put the stock on the stock exchange. And then that gets a big, big hoop law about that. And then all the average people, all the middle class people, they talk to their stock workers, oh, you get an IPO, and now you're going to buy stock when the rich people are selling. You're getting it way higher price than the rich people paid three years earlier that you didn't even find out about because the securities laws blocked you from finding out about it. So, and then the stock exchanges are corrupt.

Starting point is 00:56:35 And then what will happen if you're successful, you continue to be successful, eventually what will happen is that your company will be owned by the Routtroubles. It'll be owned by Black Rock. Black Rock or Vanguard State Street. Right, State Street and these are that are completely infested and owned and controlled by the Cabal. And then all of a sudden your company's going to be a completely different thing. So to go woke. Yeah, we'll become woke. We absolutely want no part of that whatsoever. So what we have done is we, and this is something

Starting point is 00:57:11 it's been a long study. Been working, I've been studying securities laws for almost, it's about 35 years. And we have developed a just a remarkable system that uses exemptions in the securities laws, using a faith-based organization, a faith-based non-profit organization so that we can get around them and I can actually talk to your audience right now about it, they can go to the website and invest. And if we're successful, they're go to the website and invest. And if we're successful, they're going to make a lot of money. We're projecting in the first five years that we're going

Starting point is 00:57:51 to return 20 times the investment amount. So if people invest today and we're successful, then they're going to get back over the next five years, you know, 20 times what they invested. That's 2,000 percent. That's good. Venture capitalists are looking for things like that. That's what they like to invest it. And then they sell at the IPO. They exit.

Starting point is 00:58:15 They like, the venture capitalists, these rich people, they like to talk about how many exits. How many times have you, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, the, the, the, the the the the th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, tho, thi, thi, thi, tho, tho, tho, tho, tho, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th is, th, th, th, th, th, th, th is is, th is, th is, th is than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, than, thi. is than, than, thi. is thi. is than, you, I'm the venture capitalists, you know, I've done, I've done four exits. Okay, meaning I bought in at a cheap price when the entrepreneur was trying to get started. And then I helped him be successful. It became successful. We did the IPO or maybe did a merger. And then I exited. I sold all my shares to the people who didn't have the opportunity to come in at the beginning. And I got completely out and now I've brushed off my, you know, brush off my code, okay now I'm ready to do another one. And they pride themselves on how many exits they do. I'm looking for investors who will invest for a long term. And not, you know, the goal here is not to buy and to buy something that's a good,

Starting point is 00:59:06 buy something that is going to transform mathematics education, which is a long-term project. And then we will throw off money every quarter. So we're gonna be paying, when I say that they're gonna get 20 times their money, that's money that will get set out on a quarterly basis as returns. And the way it works is the returns are paid from sales. So in each quarter we looked at how much revenue has come in from our sales of algebra victory and other products later will do geometry and other things. And then they get a part of that based on how many, well we call them charms. They invest in things called charms.. And their their their their their their their their their their they they they th. And they th. And their they th. their th. th. their their their their their thi thi their thi thi. The their thi. The way thi. The way thi. The way thi. Starting point is 00:59:45 well, we call them charms. We invest in things called charms, how many charms they purchase. And that will continue. And that's what they should do. If they need to sell their investment, there's a way to do that. But we're looking for people who are in this, because, hey, if you've keep, because it's gonna get more and more if we keep growing.

Starting point is 01:00:05 So, so the securities laws force a paradigm. They're like a, they're like a, you know, handcuffs on entrepreneurs, or they're forced to do things a certain way. And, uh, now, we're very interesting because they, they, what they do is they make us think they're trying to protect us. Exactly. Exactly. They're just, they're like, they're making it so that nobody else can compete with them.

Starting point is 01:00:37 Right. That's exactly right. Now, you know, it's legitimate. some amount of investor protection might be legitimate. And what we go by is, look, I want to be completely honest, I want to disclose as much as I can. There's some secret things I cannot disclose because some of the details about algebra victory, because we don't want the competitors to find out. But our prospectus is long. It's over 100 pages. There's an enormous amount of disclosure in there. And so people have the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability the ability to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be to be. to be. Starting point is 01:01:10 And we disclose the risks. And so you have to balance the upside, 20 times return in five years. That's the upside. The downside, the downside, there are a lot of risks. So maybe we'll return five or ten times the amount of money in five years. Starting point is 01:01:31 It's my God-given mission and I don't believe the God is it has it in, you know, me to be failed, they also, one of the reasons they do this is because if they're small companies, small entrepreneurs that have ideas that threaten technologies or markets of big corporations, the ones that are owned by BlackRock and so forth, they don't want to that competition. So they don't want to kill those. And they kill them off by security. Kill them or swallow them.

Starting point is 01:02:09 Right, or they swallow them and then bury the technology. And so it's all very evil. So to the extent, yeah, they claim they're protecting investors. On the other hand. But really they're just saying you're too dumb to to take this risk unless you're a millionaire. And if you're a millionaire, you're smart. That's how they think. Rich people are smart, people aren't rich, are stupid. And so, uh, we think that's a complete sham. And so, um, another thing is, what do the securities laws do to prevent the, uh or the crash that's happening about now. Because there's massive fraud going on in the big companies.

Starting point is 01:02:52 The big companies are committing all kinds of fraud. And what are the securities laws doing? They're violating securities laws, but they get away with it. And yet the small entrepreneur they'll come down on a ton of bricks, like a ton of bricks. I'd like to hear your opinion on the fractional reserve banking real quick. I know. Oh, that's another whole story. It's all, it's all false. But that doesn't directly affect what we're doing in algebra victory. We are accepting investments in dollars, which are federal reserve notes. We don't have we don't have alternatives to that right now. We believe that is going to

Starting point is 01:03:30 transform and change but that's not really my mission. Security's laws aren't my mission either except that I have to face them and deal with them so I was forced to become an expert on them. So so you so you how tell me a little bit about how and you might have already talked about this but if we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we th we can th we can th we can th we can th we can th th th th to th to to get to get to get to get to get to get thi thi to get to get to to to to to to to to to to to thi thi to thi to thi thi thi thi thi thi thi th. We thi thi tell me a little bit about how, and you might have already talked about this, but if we can get a little bit more on the sacred investment works, can you tell us that you would kind of bring it up a little bit, I guess if you're making it a, yeah, yeah, yeah, well, okay, typically a startup company sell stock and a stock is an ownership interest in the company. But we can't do that because we're a nonprofit. And by the way, being not only a nonprofit,

Starting point is 01:04:12 but a spiritual educational nonprofit, which is very important for many, many of the exemptions from the securities laws and also from the federal income tax laws. Very, very important. And so the way that it works is instead of shares of stock, we have charms. And we, if you, if you invest in algebra victory, you will purchase charms. The name of the company is Educational Empowerment Corporation, and algebra victory is the name of our first product. So you'll first, you purchase charms and the way the charms work is that whenever we sell any products in each, periodically, probably quarterly, then we take a portion of the sales

Starting point is 01:05:01 and we pay that out on the charms proportionally. And so that keeps it, that means that it's an expense to the corporation. We're not a nonprofit cannot do what's called in Norman. We cannot see a stock dividend. If we had a stock or we're going to pay a dividend, it has to come from what are called net earnings. That's prohibited in a non-profit. The 501c3 in Nerman rule says you know you can't pay any shareholder or person out of net earnings. But non-profits can pay their expenses. Expenses are before net earnings are calculated. That's how we do it. And so that's how we will repay the investors. And also investors have to, before they invest, they have to join our organization called Legacy of the Angels.

Starting point is 01:05:49 They have to become angel members of that, which is free and it's easy. They just have to take a vow that they are going to live their life in service of God, in the spirit of love and peace and joy and compassion and generosity. And so that doesn't mean, they have to be angels. And so that means when they get their investment returns, they're gonna use their money in ways that are good. Now, that can, you could have fun, angels have fun, okay, they can buy property.

Starting point is 01:06:21 If they do good things with the property. They can take care of their selves and their families. They have to do that. But the job of the angel is to go and spread spiritual light and love and joy in the world. Doesn't mean they don't get upset or sad sometimes, but that's their job. And so if they're connected to God, they will be doing that.

Starting point is 01:06:40 And so that is that is consistent that is consistent that.
