Starting point is 00:06:37 Honor in a privilege, what's new with you, dude? Well, we were talking a second ago. What's this new format you're telling us about? Well, it's for your fans, who, by the way, the swarm have been very good to me. Very good to me. Well, they're great. But a lot of them will say, like, hey, I'm not notes? So we started giving them, we're doing it now, it's three minute loser. Half of it is to see if I can do it, and I'm trying to tell the story as fast as,

Starting point is 00:07:10 because by the way, you get them interested in the three minutes, people go back and they're like, all right, now I gotta know the whole story. about American history for four years. It is, it is like kind of this battle that comes in with content creating because like you'll have people going, dude, two hours, what the hell? And then you got people going, why is it only two hours? And you're like, we get it all the time, whether it's this podcast or not, and I like, I love doing long form content. I enjoy it. I do too many of it, too much of it actually, but it's interesting because like you do the statistics on it, right?

Starting point is 00:07:52 You get into it, the data, and it's like, most people only listen 30 minutes in, and you're like, then why am I doing a two hour podcast? Why am I writing a term paper every week? So I can have somebody be mildly amused? But I love doing it, but it's like if it was more, I feel like the right amount of time is an hour for right now with the tension spans. But there aren't enough people that get upset if we don't do almost two hours.

Starting point is 00:08:22 You have to ask your question though, is you have to ask yourself this question is it, would you give up doing the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer the longer th? the have to ask your question though, you have to ask yourself this question. Is it, would you give up doing the longer thing just because that's what people, you know, I mean, there's an idea that maybe it's better for people to actually sit down for two hours and kind of make time for something? Because I feel like, we know, nobody, we don't even make time for dinner anymore. I rarely do that. That's the new. That's th. That's the the th. That's the th. That's the the the th. And you think that went away, by the way, if you had to put a time stamp on, because I think I was at the tail end of that because my parents were older. Well, you remember Dr. Spock came out with that, spanking your kids,

Starting point is 00:09:18 and I feel like teacher, I think, in the United States who was spanking kids. She used to take Maurice Wall into the closet every Friday and just whip his ass for the whole class to hear him in there just howling and her spanking his ass and then never after that when that was like, can we get him on the podcast? What's the kid's name? I got... I was like 91, 991, something like that. So yeah, I mean what tower is he in with a rifle? Poor guy. But then you kind of hear that story you're like, okay, that's not right either. He was bad though. I will say Maurice was bad. He was really bad. You know, yeah, there was a couple kids I grew up that were bad from the, not

Starting point is 00:10:06 we're bad, but like, just didn't have discipline. And they just grew up either like just live a chaotic life. I mean so much, as you watch your children grow up, so much of what you're trying to do is teach them to be civil and to understand there's rules to society. Just civil too. What's that? Like just civil. You're like come on just just be civil. I'm not looking for anything extra. Just give me that. Yeah, I mean, just like just understand there's there's basic rules to functioning in society and I think that's a big problem. That's why you have prisons full of people

Starting point is 00:10:48 that don't understand that. And we have like what really looks like a fatherless society. And I want to get into what you want to talk about. But I really want to ask you, how much of this, KP, do you think that we're seeing right now is actually real? Meaning, not that the clip didn't happen, but the way it's being amplified, is it real? Are we having a complete utter, just decay of society? Is it all hell breaking loose?

Starting point is 00:11:18 Or is social media making you believe that? I think social media is magnifying it. That it's guys who are like ripping people off on Wall Street. What are they love doing? They love being punished because they never get punished. So it's they're waiting for judgment day. You're always waiting for who, okay, this is what we're going to pay for this, right? This is global warming's finally going to happen on this day. Yeah, there's a lot to get into on that. It's like this desire or like we, society needs purpose. We really need purpose.

Starting point is 00:12:07 And we seek it out in so many different ways. And even if our purpose might be to inflict pain and suffering on a system that we believe has wronged us. That's wrong to your people, that is wrong all this, so you just want to watch it all burn. And in reality, you're just kind of hurting yourself in the long run and set yourself up. You end up in jail that nobody cares anymore and it kind of just hurt you in the long run. It's like this presentation that goes on. For some reason a dark, dark room with a single light that's on the stage. People just laugh harder. It's, you know, you know why strip bars are dark because nobody wants to see what anyone else is doing.

Starting point is 00:17:34 Like, nobody wants to be judged. So you'll get away. Like when, when the club first started, it was all white. And I was like, dude, it's like doing stand up in a surgery room right now. It's way too nice. You need the darkness to calm people down so they don't think they're going to lose standing in their community and he's been doing it, dude and and hopefully they will keep growing and growing because it is a club where you're there to go learn and grow and stuff like that.
