It's the biggest event they host, and I'm here with 2,500 to 3,000 fellow voluntarists, libertarians, peaceful anarchists, narco-capitalists. And to a degree voting is violence, you know, if you're advocating government, if you're voting, you know, if you're advocating that your politician gets to rob everybody and put these policies into place, then you have to suffer the bad karma that comes along with that. Now, that's not to say you can't vote defensively where it makes sense. Starting point is 00:07:48 is that in a lot of states, you know, they're voting on unauditable black box touch screen voting machines where there's no way to verify that your vote is counted. And in a lot of states, to have these mail-in ballots, where, you know, anybody can just show up at the vote counting center You know with with a couple of forklift full of ballots and swing the election And there's no way to really verify that at the precinct

Starting point is 00:08:13 the way they used to and in the old days of voting and the old days of voting you know You would cast your ballot at the precinct and then at the end of the day They would dump all the ballots out on a to to to to to to to to to to to to to to the too. the too. the the too. the too. the the the too. the the the the the the the too. too. too. too. too. the too. toe. toe. the toe. the toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. toe. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the of the day, they would dump all the ballots out on a table and count them in front of everybody in the, you know, all the poll watchers in the precinct, and then everybody would come up and would, you know, they'd agree that that's a total. And so, so in a lot of cases it doesn't make any sense to vote in an obviously rigged game. But, and you know, I'm right here in the soon-to-be free state of New Hampshire where libertarians

Starting point is 00:08:55 and voluntarists are moving to the state to roll back government. And one of the reasons they chose government is they're still voting at the local level and they they tend tend tend te te te te te te te te te te te. to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to vote. th. to vote. to vote. tho. So, they're still voting at the local level and they tend to run a fairly you know good election. So if you're voting for somebody that's just looking out for life, liberty, and property and isn't going to, you know, vote you to redistribute your income or, you know, put in their pet project, that's kind of okay where it makes sense. So I'm not against defensive voting, but I am against, you know, trying trying trying trying to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to to their their their to their to to have, you're to have, you're to have, you're their their to have a to have a to have a to have a to have a to have a to have a to have a to have, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you. Starting point is 00:09:34 Yeah, it is super interesting about the, about what is voting? Is it real? Do they are, you know, again, I've been talking about this. I do something on Rockfim, which is a deep conspiracy rewind, I call it, and we went over the 1992 presidential debate between Bush, Clinton, and Perot, and just, dude, I mean, like, the lying that was going on between Bush and Clinton. Starting point is 00:10:10 with each other and more blatantly being lied to. So it's like, I love, get into how you plan on taking over the state. What is the exact game plan? So, so the, just to give everybody a little background on the free state project. So the free state project came along in 2002 when a political science student named Jason Sorens wrote a little essay where he, you know, essentially noted that, you know, there's a lot of libertarians out there. But we're all scattered in 50 different states and were the minority states and were the minority state. And, the the the the the state, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the the the the the the the the the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, th, th. th. the, th. the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, lot of libertarians out there, but we're all scattered in 50 different states and we're the minority and we're not getting much traction when you're the minority, and that if the libertarians could just concentrate in a single kind of low population state sub 1.5 million, well he thought it would take about 20,000 dedicated activists to really move the needle on, you know, on an in an election and be able to, you know, to kind of roll back government to just protecting

Starting point is 00:11:18 life liberty and property, not any redistribution, not any, you know, social engineering, none of the, you know, the kind of criminality that DC engages in regularly. And so that idea that thi thi tho tho tho tho tho tho tho tho thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thi thou thou. thou. the. thou. the. thou. the. thou. the. thoo. thoo. tho. tho. the kind of criminality that DC engages in regularly. And so that idea caught, caught hold. And so they began organizing on the internet. And they said, the deal was that everybody signed a statement of intent. And the statement of intent said, when the total number of the group hit 20,000, then you would have five years to move to whatever state has chosen. At that point, it hadn't been, New Hampshire hadn't been chosen.

Starting point is 00:11:54 And there were some outs if you got, if you didn't like the state, if you got divorced, if you got married, and you know, like there was a whole bunch of outs. But over 26,000 people have signed that pledge. And once that idea started getting rolling, then they had a kind of a beauty contest and they said, okay, what is the easiest state for libertarians to take over? And so they had a little bit of a beauty contest. And so they took a look at everything from, you know, the amount of people that work for the federal or the state government and are depended upon government.

Starting point is 00:12:27 They looked at the, you know, the history of the people, were they independent. There were seven states that qualified that had sub 1.5 million populations. They threw out Hawaii and Rhode Island because they had a propensity towards centralized government. They came up with, it came down to Wyoming and New Hampshire and it kind of like a bake-off. New Hampshire won, and in 2003, people began moving here immediately, even though you didn't have to move until they hit, you know, 20,000. Once they picked the state, they were called early movers and they just started coming to the state. So they've been on the ground since 2003. There's somewhere between

Starting point is 00:13:11 7,000 and 10,000 plus that are in the state. There's about 7,000 people that have signed a list and said, I've moved or I support the free, I already live here and I support the Liberty Goals of the Free State Project and they're kind on a list th be th th th th th th th th th th th. th th th th. th. th. th th. th. th. thi thi thi thi thi thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thoea' thoe, thoe, thoe, tho-a, thoome, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, th. th. th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th. th, th. thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi. So, thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. So, so so somea, thi, th free, I already live here and I support the Liberty Goals, the Free State Project and they're kind of on a list, but there may be as many as 3,000 plus that just don't want to be on a list when you've got an organized crime government. And so, yeah, yeah, I mean, that's the reality of the government that we've got is that people don't want to be known as people that love freedom and love liberty, which, which, which, which, which, which, which, and to, and the, and to, and to, and the, and they.., and they. And, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I'm, and I'm, and I'm, they. And, and I's, they. And, they they their, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I's, and I's, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, they.a, the the the the the the the the they.a, they.a, the they.a, the they.s, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, they, they, theyrue, theyrue, they.s, theyr, theymea, thea, thrii, th love freedom and love liberty, which is, you know, shows you how corrupt and criminal everything is. But the seven to 10,000 people that are here, they've been organizing politically. They've got dozens of individual liberty organizations in the state, everything from the Libertarian Party.

Starting point is 00:14:03 Some of them run as Republicans or Democrats, some of them run as Libertarians. Some of them run as Democrats in a kind of reverse Fabianism where they don't tell anybody they're a free state project member and then they get in as a Democrat or a Republican. But most of them run as Republicans and most of them aren't necessarily voluinturies. I'd say half of the free state project is volu—ailiiiiiiiiiiii, theiri, theiri, theiri, theiri, their, their, their, their, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, them, th, them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them them them them them them, them, them, them, them, them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them, them aren't necessarily voluntarious. I'd say half of the Free State Project is voluntarist or peaceful anarchist, and half of them are minarchists, constitutionalists, little government, small L. libertarians. But they've been getting people elected. There's over 25 members of the Free State Project currently serving in New Hampshire House of Representatives out of around 400 elected representatives. of the Free State Project currently serving in New Hampshire House of Representatives

Starting point is 00:14:45 out of around 400 elected representatives. But there's another hundred that vote as a kind of pro-liberty block. So if the issue is, you know, more freedom or less freedom, there's over a hundred legislators, some of them Republicans, some of them Democrats that are voting, you know, pro-liberty. And then there's a number of organizations in the state that are giving a report card vote, like a report card grade, every single piece of legislation, and every single representative in the legislature.

Starting point is 00:15:23 Are you a pro-liberty legislator? Do you get an A for, you know, more freedom andthe legislature, are you a pro-liberty legislator? Do you get an A for, you know, more freedom and more liberty, or do you get an F, or are you a constitutional threat, which is even lower than an F? And they've, you know, that's one of the many, many, you know, kind of libertarian groups that are active in the state and having an impact and they've been rolling back laws, they've been getting libertarians elected, they lobbied the legislature to get, you know, there's not a in New Hampshire there's not an income tax, there's not a sales tax, but there is a business proceed tax, so they lobbied the legislature and now you can take a portion of that and you can apply it to a scholarship fund where you can send

Starting point is 00:16:05 your kids, you know, where we get kids out of the government indoctrination system into the school of your choice or even the fund can be used for, you know, homeschooling. And so there's just, there's just slowly but surely winning on the ground here in New Hampshire, getting libertarians elected into the legislature, rolling back laws and on our way to either peacefully secede from New Hampshire. Now that's not an official free state project position, that's a Etienne De La Buetti Square position, but there's a lot of people here that are openly for succession, and there have been members of the Free State Project in the legislature that have proposed an amendment to

Starting point is 00:16:49 for New Hampshire to secede from from the rest of the United States kick Washington DC out of the state. It got voted down but like you know it got introduced and so that's the kind of thing that's happening here and you routinely see legislatures at the dais of the you know of the, you know of the, of of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, of the, the, of the, of the, of the, the, the, the, that's, that's that's the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, that's that's the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the the, the the the the that's the kind of thing that's happening here and you routinely see legislatures at the dias of the you know of the the House of Representatives saying taxation is theft. You can get videos online of you know compilation videos of multiple you know libertarian representatives you pointing out that taxation is theft and you don't see that any place but New Hampshire. It's interesting, dude.

Starting point is 00:17:30 Would you, would you, would you ever go to New Hampshire? Was that ever a thought, Sam? It wasn't a thought, but it's now thoughts, now very interesting. I remember after Ron Paul really got shrewd that this was was big this was a big idea that we were all just going to go up to New Hampshire and I dude it's a beautiful have you ever been up that way? They have this event that I'm at right now, you know, there's going to be 2,500 to 3,000 you know, people here and at least 100, you know, probably 100 to 150 or people that are, you know, coming up here to evaluate New Hampshire, take a look at it. And so more and more people are moving and more and more people land here in New Hampshire every single week. You know, every single week they had over a thousand people moved in 2020.

Starting point is 00:18:54 They had a thousand plus people moved in 2021. And then those people that are moving, it takes two years for them to be able to run for office. So there's, you know, there's going to be 2,000, you know, new people that are going to get, that are, you know, starting to, you know, qualify to run for office here, you know, this year. So it's, you know, that early wave is now hitting that two-year mark and so so you know it's it's it's slowly and surely we're slowly and surely rolling back government. Starting point is 00:21:18 So nice little, that's a nice little event right there. That's a really nice. It's a blast. Super cool. So, so what is the local local of this whole thing? Like this this reminds me of that one doc on Netflix where like the the Hindu cult moves in and they start bringing it and obviously I love what you're doing. Yeah, yeah, but like what are the local New Hampshireers feel about this whole thing? So the Republicans tend to love us and the Democrats tend to hate us? And so, you know, because we're like we're, it's just pro-freedom Like, like, we're not advocating, you know, any violence or anything like that.

Starting point is 00:22:08 We're just saying that, you know, that more freedom equals more prosperity and more harmony in society. And for some reason, Democrats don't like that. Libertarians that are already in the state. But for some reason, the Democrats don't seem like us. At the event that I'm at right now, R.F.K.J. is going to be speaking. I don't understand that. He's a politician and we're trying to get rid of government.

Starting point is 00:22:47 But he's going to be one of the speakers at the event. And the head of the head of the New Hampshire Democratic Party, you know, publicly on Twitter asked, suggested that he not speak. And RFK.J. to go pound sand that he was going to speak here here here here to speak here told him to go pound sand that he was going to speak here anyway. And so, you know, the head of the Democratic Party in New Hampshire, you know, told RFK Jr. not to speak here and he said he's going to do it anyway.

Starting point is 00:23:16 So that gives you a little bit of the flavor. It's very interesting. It's very interesting. T, the Democrats hates. that. that. That's that. Starting point is 00:23:38 Like again, we've had conversations the past the past on the show about him. We don't trust any politician. I find a lot of stuff he's saying interesting, but I have zero faith in anybody following through it. But I will say this about him. You know, he seems to go places that people at his level and for what he's trying to do, don't go, like going to PorchFest, even if you say, let's say we get the 3,000, that's a pretty interesting thing for a guy to go do that. He went and did Great Carlwood's higher side chat. That to me is a very interesting move to make because I don't know how much that, and this is not the guy, I would say the same thing about this type of show, like it does not seem like that is a medium that

Starting point is 00:24:34 most people run for president want to tap into. No, you're right. No, like, I would, I could see him on Lex Friedman's show. It's not like these college campuses, which are supposed to be bastions for free speech and open-mindedness, but they're really, I mean, as closed as it gets. It is brainwashing at its finest.

Starting point is 00:25:51 It is like, if you are open-minded to hearing other parts of the discussion, what's that say about your beliefs? They're weak. You know the world is kind of a self-organizing place it produces spontaneous order and everything the government does you could get better faster, cheaper from the government does, you could get better, faster, cheaper from the free market and from, you know, non-profits and co-ops and mutual aid societies and insurance companies and homeowners associations and you just don't need government. And I think that that's the, you know, the number one question that I'm going to ask. I'm going to, you know, like, do you think that, you know, do you believe that

Starting point is 00:27:01 government is legitimate? And if, and if, and if, and if th and if th and if th and if th and if th and if th and if th and if th and if th and if thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, you their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thr, thr, throwne, thooooooooooomoomorrow, their, they.e.e.e.e. And, their, their,? And if so, you know, how does the government acquire rights that normal people don't have? I mean, you can't delegate a right, you don't have yourself. So where did the government, you know, legitimately, morally, and logically acquire rights that other people don't have? And, you know, if he can't say, you know, like truthfully, that government doesn't make any sense, it isn't logical it isn't't moral, then you can't trust him at all, because

Starting point is 00:27:29 he's not, he's going to be, he's lying to you about the legitimacy, the desirability, of the whole thing. Okay, when you say no government and you also said, obviously, I have no governments, but you also said no leaders, in a way, how do you get someone to represent America? I understand no government, but you do need a leader, right? I would say like someone to be like,

Well, well, you know, what I think is, you know, once people, you know, like get it that you can't have a legitimate government, there's no way, if, you know, if the four of us were four of us, I think there's two, three of you guys in the studio, so if the four of us are on an island, the the four the four th four th. th. th. th. th. th. He'll go and get the food and you can voluntarily, you can still have leadership, but there's no way that, you know, that, you know, that, you

Starting point is 00:29:11 know, Sam and myself and Johnny can vote to rob the other two and it be legitimate, you know, like we can't tell the other two to go pick coconuts and then it, you know look they morally and legitimately have to go do all the work while we sit back and be the government you know what I mean and so so once people get that you know like really like it really sinks in the brain that there can't be a legitimate moral government it really has been the biggest scam in history it has been the biggest scam in history. It has been the biggest scam in all of history. It's essentially been used to, you know, to tax farm and rob and control societies on a very, very large scale. And they've been getting away with it because it's the government and the media and academia working together. And they've been teaching the population that government is moral, legitimate and desirable before they're old enough to really go, hey, hey, wait a th a th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, thi, their, their, their, their, their, their, their, thi, their, their, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it, it's, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, it, and, and, and, and, and, and, th.... th. th. th. And, th. And, th. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, thi. And, legitimate, and desirable before they're old enough

Starting point is 00:30:05 to really go, hey, wait a minute. Is it really? Like, can you really delegate rights that you don't have yourself to a representative, to represent you doing something that you don't have the ability to do yourself? I mean, it doesn't make any sense. And then once you, once you understand that, then luckily, you know, kind of the good news message, book and the good news message, you know, when I'm on podcasts is that we don't need government. Like you just don't need it, like the world is this self-organizing system.

Starting point is 00:30:33 Now once the United States figures that out, and I do believe it's going to spread virally, you know, around the world, okay, I think the government of the United States is going to come crashing down and then shortly thereafter the government of all the other countries are going to be crashing down because all of these countries are running the same unethically manipulative techniques on their populations to get them to go along with something that is not in their interest. You know, they're all giving them a flag. They're all putting them in mandatory government schools. They've all got scouting programs where the kids get awards for, you know, how to be a citizen

Starting point is 00:31:13 and things like that, before they're old enough to really understand, you know, what they're, you know, what they're pledging their allegiance to. I mean, and so, so I th I th I th I th I th I th I th I th I th I th I th tho I th thi I thi I thi thi, so, so, so, so, so, so, thi, thi, thi, thi, th, th, th, tho, you thi, thi, tho, you tho, you're all, you're all, you're all, you're all, you're all, you're all, you're all, you're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. th. they're, they're, they're they're th. th. thr. I'm, thr. I'm, th. I'm tho. I'm tho. You know, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, they're all, their allegiance to. They, you know, I mean, and so, so I think that that message is ultimately gonna go viral through society, just a very small amount of people understand that right now, but more and more people get it every single day. Yeah, I think people are waking up to, I think it's, I believe it is possible to get everybody to buy into this.

Starting point is 00:31:48 I think there's going to be some serious growing pains. I mean, when you find New Hampshire, and I, this, I want to get your opinion on this. You know, because you, you know, there's some people who like defund the police and all that stuff, and then we've seen in these areas where there is no law and there is no order and just chaos is breaking out. What do you, what are your thoughts on how to deal with that? Are you okay? To answer your question, a lot of times, you know, when people say, hey, we've got to have government, take a look at what happened in Somalia, or take a look at what happened in Chaz, or take a look at what

Starting point is 00:32:29 happened in these countries that don't have strong governments, you know, there, Somalia doesn't have anarchy. Somalia has something called inocracy. And their tasks is many different factions fighting over who gets to be the government. And so there have been instances in history where they haven't had government and they've done just fine from the American Indians to the Irish to others. But you're never going to learn about that in the mandatory government school because they don't want you to know that there's an option on the menu called Anarchy, which just means no rulers, it doesn't mean no rules.

Starting point is 00:33:10 So one of the, you know, the popular misconceptions is that anarchy means chaos and dystopia. But I break down in my book, Government, the biggest scam in history, how they've literally changed the dictionary over time to make anarchy seem like chaos and dystopian. They have movies like the Purge Anarchy and the Sons of Anarchy and they you know they do these like media tricks to throw people off of the one thing that would free them, real freedom. But you know at the end of the day, you know the good news message is as long as you should be able to do whatever you want as th. th. th. th. th you th. th. th. th. th. the th. the the th. the th. the th. th. the thi. thi. their. their. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. thi. their. thi. thi. thi. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. their. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the. the. the. the. thea. thea. thea. the the tea. the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the day, you know, the good news messages is as long as every, you know, you should be able to do whatever you want as long as you're not hurting other people, but you can still have governance without government.

Starting point is 00:33:54 And so the Homeowners Association is an example of governance without government. You can voluntarily say we're going to abide by these rules. Nobody's going to paint their house pink. You can't have 20 cars in your yard, you know, to keep everybody's, you know, home resale values up. But, but, you know, if you don't like that, you can move, and you don't have to move into that housing development in the beginning. If you don't like the rules, you can live outside where, you know, where there isn't, you know, those kind of rules, but you can get governance without government. And so that really is, you know, the, you know, one of these kind of like big secrets

Starting point is 00:34:33 that you're not going to learn in the mandatory government school. So, so when we see chaos, I guess you can't control everything. Is there an understanding that maybe at some point you're going to lose some parts of the country and then they got to figure out their whole thing while you, why you figure out you, why you set up your ecosystem? Like, Chicago where it's like San Francisco, like there, everyone's talking, you know, Tim Dylan, I didn't listen to video, but it was titled, Tim, San Francisco is going to come Detroit. That's what's going to happen.

Starting point is 00:35:14 They're going to destroy the city. Yeah. Yeah, they've essentially done it. But what is, I think, more exciting is that there's a lot, you know, not just in the United States, but in other places, and I covered in the book, Government, the biggest scam in history is people are now voting with their feet and they're going to jurisdictions like New Hampshire where they're, you know, where they're rolling back government and they've already got a tiny, you know, infinitesimal government compared to every place else.

Starting point is 00:35:45 You know, New Hampshire doesn't have a sales tax. New Hampshire doesn't have a, doesn't have an income tax. It's got a business proceed tax and it's got a, you know, it has a meals tax. But you know, tax collectors showed up here at the Porcupine Freedom Festival in 2015. They got surrounded, surrounded, made fun of, and driven off, and they've never been back since to try and collect that meals tax. And so if the population isn't going along with it, then you just, you know, then you just don't have government if people don't believe in it.

Starting point is 00:36:16 And that's, and it's not just in New Hampshire. There's a town in Mexico called Chheran, C-H-H-H-C, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, that is, th-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a, th-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a, th, their, their, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, the-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-H-E-R-A-N that is tossed out not just government but the drug cartels as well. And they haven't had any quote-unquote government for over a decade and they're doing just fine. There is now a free state project in Canada called the Free Province project where they're trying to get rid of government or roll it back in New Brunswick, Canada. There is a place on the island of Roritan off the coast of Honduras called Prospera, which

Starting point is 00:36:58 has been built in what's called a special economic zone off the, in Honduras where they don't follow the same laws and rules and regulations and tax rates of Honduras. They have a kind of negotiated sovereignty and a negotiated tax rate that is one of the lowest anywhere on the planet. And so you can go to Prospera, locate your house, your business there, and you know exactly what the tax rate's going to be and the laws and it's, you know, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you, you the very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very, the, the very, the very, the very, the the, the the thi, the the thi, the thi, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, and, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, your business there, and you know exactly what the tax rate's going to be and the laws, and it's, you know, very minimal economic regulation. And so people are beginning to vote with their feet. There's a secession movement in California called the state of Jefferson, where the

Starting point is 00:37:39 northern part of Northern California is looking to secede from California in the United States completely. That's called the State of Jefferson. There's a movement in Oregon called the Greater Idaho Movement where I think is, I can't believe, I can't remember if it's Washington or Oregon, but one of those, like half the state is trying to secede for either Oregon or Washington to join Idaho. To Idaho, yeah. I think they actually voted on it. Really.

Starting point is 00:38:10 I think they, I don't know if it's happening. A couple of counties have actually voted. Yes. But certain counties have already voted. You're absolutely correct. I know California and Texas and some other states have great movements and we do speak with the people of California and the T&M as well from Texas. Legislatively were the only state that has had since the Civil War I believe. The only state that's had a bill that was a constitutional amendment for the state constitution that would have placed the dependence on the ballot and if it had passed it would have gone on the ballot and if the people voted for it with two-thirds we would have peacefully

Starting point is 00:50:09 separated from the union. So we've had that bill, it had nine sponsors including some leadership, some Republicans leadership, that's a libertarian we are here. So the independent movement is doing amazing, and then a the independence movement, the independent movement, their th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, th, and th, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and the, and thiopan, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the people, and the, and the, and thi, and thi, and thi, and thi, and, and, and, some, and, and, some, and, some, somea, and, somea, somea, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, somean, we woan, we woan, a pack was formed that they've already raised and spent thousands for candidates. What do you reckon would happen today if New Hampshire attempted to secede? Yeah, I hear that question a lot. So Howard imagine that Julie, your wife, girlfriend, yeah. Imagine Julie was beating you up really badly every day and you try leaving her and she caught you and beat you up really bad. Would I tell you to never try again? You know, you try leaving and it didn't work out,

Starting point is 00:51:28 don't ever try to leave again. Just be abused forever. No, that's about never to leave again. No, I fully think you should do it. I mean, and I support you and I would move you and I support you and I would move. is my question. Yeah, that's a good question. I don't think they would use military force. That's a last resort. We have to understand that it is a possibility. I think it's one or two or three percent, very low chance. They would actually send troops. Starting point is 00:52:10 battle against 1.4 million super-armed liberty people who know the terrain, a lot better, and they wouldn't have public support. As for public support, there. T.N.S. T. T. And survey USA, so they both found 19 to 30 percent, I believe, support for independence of people who are ready to succeed today, and then a bunch who are unsure. So a third or half are support independence, and that's going to increase every day with what DC is doing, so succession gets more popular every day. And we're working in New Hampshire on the ground too. Throughout all the states, 6% on average,

Starting point is 00:52:53 said I would support military. For New Hampshire, it was 3%, I believe. So there's no support, there's no appetite for a civil war. Starting point is 00:54:49 Right now, think about how vulnerable you are as a member, a citizen of the United States. From the police. From the police. From the police. So like right now we're a certain level of safe let's say there's a 1% chance that you know federal or state or local police will kill you and the chance of China killing us is

What stops Texas from going off on Nevada or going off on Louisiana and stuff like that.

Starting point is 00:57:10 Does that ever come in to what your your vision of the future is? Yeah, I've thought about it as far as being asked it at Q&A's when I speak and stuff and I've thought about it in the books. I don't think there's a substantial chance of states bombing each other or anything. There wouldn't be incentive for Texas to bomb Nevada because there would be killing people, hurting themselves, hurting their reputation, spending billions on the bombs. There's so many reasons, I mean I can go on and on. It's not, I don't think that would happen. But I think that the big question you're asking is, if we break up the Union will be weaker

Starting point is 00:57:47 and then, you know, China can come in and conquer us. I've heard that many times. Again, right now there are very small nations, even the few that the United States that is not protected thentrararararara Now, to be honest, the island nations that are strategic, tremendous places to be for a military, I'm not sure why. One of the things I advise people to do is just pay and use cash. You know, and so number one, you're putting more money in the merchant's pocket at the same time that you're starving the banks that are kind of at the top of the pyramid. But things like, you know, taking, you know, having alternatives, you know, flexible, spendable,

Starting point is 01:21:02 gold, silver, crypto currencies that are non-dollar den denominated that could be a life vote for a lot of people as more and more people Abandoned the sinking ship of the US dollar So so let me ask you this how do we? How do we? How do we control the rise of the Diabolically smart? Or the rise of the diabolically smart or the incredibly evil. All right, so here's the deal. So again, anarchy doesn't mean no rules.

Starting point is 01:21:34 It means no rulers. And so, you know, you still can't, you know, rob, cheat, steel, rape, trespass. But instead of there being the monopoly police, there would be armed protective services companies. You know, you'd still, you know, you'd pay probably, you know, 75 bucks, 100 bucks a month to your to, you know, arm, protective service company. It would probably be Garda or ADT or West Tech or one of these companies that are already providing armed protective services today.

Starting point is 01:22:07 And if somebody is trying to steal your property or threaten you with violence or something like that, you're going to dial, you know, the equivalent of 911 and a guy with a gun and a fancy car is going to show up to protect you the same way that you have the police today, but that guy is only going to have the same rights that you have. He can't arrest you for, you know, because you're in the middle of a poker game. He can arrest you because you're smoking a plant. He can't, he doesn't, you know, he can protect you from, he can help you protect your life, liberty, and property, because you have that ability, okay, inherent in yourself, and so you can delegate that right to an armed protective services company to exercise on your behalf.

Starting point is 01:22:54 So there's still going to be dispute resolution, which the government calls the courts, but it's not going to be the monopoly, you know, court system. There's still going to be, you know, armed protective services. It's just not going to be to be to be to be the to be the to be the to be the the the to be the the the the the right to be the the right the right the right to be the right the right the right the right the right the right the right the right the right the right the right right right right the right the right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right right rightto be the monopoly court system. There's still going to be armed protective services. It's just not going to be the monopoly armed protective service system. And you're going to get a better result because what you're going to do is there's going to be a competition for your armed protective services dollar and you're going to be able to see, okay, which company has more secure neighborhoods. Is it ADT? Or is it Garda? You know, which

Starting point is 01:23:27 company gets more restitution when their clients get robbed? Is it ADT or is it West Tech? And so, so now you've got like a market dynamic. Now, let's say one of those companies decides that they want to rule at all, okay? And so there's real, you know, there's real kind of market mechanisms that would protect you much better than you're being protected under the monopoly system that we have right now, because there's going to be competition in the market, and that you can immediately vote with your dollars in anybody that th th th th thi that that th that thi that that th right now because there's going to be competition in the market and that you can immediately vote with your dollars and anybody that tries to rob you or even if even if you're aren't like like a Matt you know how

Starting point is 01:24:52 rude the cops are to people in this country you know the second that your armed protective services company you know an officer gets rude with you you know that guy is either going to be fired you can tak your money and you can the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the the to the the to the to to to to to. to. to. to. to. And so you're going to have better outcomes and it's going to be more peaceful and more harmonious than the existing system where the police are murdering people, they steal more than the monopoly police today, steal more than all private criminals together through civil asset forfeiture today and so you're going to have better outcomes in a private system.

Starting point is 01:25:32 Let's say let's say me and Sam are out of bar. I get mad at him, he gets mad at me, whatever, we're going to altercation. I call my arm services, he calls his arm services. That doesn't seem like that's going to help each other out because they have to protect me and they have to protect him. They're going to be on my side. Right, right. Well, no, no, no, I mean, so they're going to, they're going to, you know, make sure that a fight doesn't occur. Yeah, that's 100 percent.

Starting point is 01:25:54 Yeah. Yeah. is let's say you catch Sam stealing your TV and he gets it into his house before you know you're able to stop him and you call your armed protective services company and you say hey this is the guy that stole my TV and he calls his armed protective services company and says hey uh... this guy's threatening me he's crazy i, I didn't steal any TVs, well those armed protective services companies are going to have an arbiter, they're already going to be planned for this kind of solution, and they're going to say, hey, Sam, here's the deal. We've got to investigate this, you know, can we go into your house and see if you've

Starting point is 01:26:40 got this TV, and if you go along with it and let them conduct an investigation, and if you prove that you don't have the TV, that's one thing, but if you're not willing to go along with that, they may step aside, they say, hey, look, you're not complying with the rules of our service. You know, we need to verify this, so we're gonna step aside and we're gonna let's thhe this armed thapapap this this and take back this guy's TV. And so there's ways that all of these things can be worked out and you're still going to get a better outcome with less violence, less extortion at a fraction of the cost of the monopoly

Starting point is 01:27:17 system where you know a lot of these police, chiefs and sheriffs, they're paying themselves $350,000 plus a year, you know, because it's coming out of the public's budget and the public doesn't have any say on it. Well, I think it's interesting. I'm really excited about what you guys are doing. I'm interesting to see where you guys go. And so, how do you navigate that mind, that laser field? I mean, it's a great question.

Starting point is 01:44:00 I just say at some point you have to have faith in things. Like, if you keep digging, you're going to find dirt on everything, right? I mean, if you're vegetarian, you're clearing rainforest to raise your tofu. So, I mean, you live in this world, you make an impact, right? However, if you really care about the environment, global warming, then you'll probably leap off a cliff and take yourself out of the equation and start reproducing like that. Then you're not impacting the environment and you're not impacting the world, right? I mean, that's like the negative view to the extreme, right? So how do I look at it? Honestly, even if we're skeptical about it, what I say this, so let's take the oil companies. Now, Canada, a lot of companies, a lot of countries where you can be called greenwashing,

Starting point is 01:44:48 they're pulling investments out of oil and gas out of their pension funds. So what does that mean when you don't invest in oil companies? Well, as we saw with GameStop, investment is all, it's all mindset and psychology, right? So if people what is hot, right? So if people aren't into oil companies, they're pulling money out out of oil companies, those stock prices will stagnate. They might pay a nice yield,

Starting point is 01:45:11 they'll still make a profit. But where the money's going is going in those ESG funds. And they're going to continue to attract more capital.
