Starting point is 00:05:06 Everybody's talking about it. I had people at the comedy store last night trying to ask me what they thought. What I thought, they gave me their information. I had some very interesting conversations with that. What are your thoughts? Right now, it's hard to say. Starting point is 00:05:54 And man, it was a site of the whole, bruh. So the info that I have is this ship was leaving from the port at 140 in the morning. It lost power twice. We see that in the video you could see it lose power twice. Yeah it lost power twice. So what I just found out is that when it lost the power is so usually most ports they have tug boats take the ships out into the middle of the sea and let them go. Here, yeah, here you have two pilots. These are two people that know the terrain, they know the water, and they pilot the ship out into the middle of the sea, and then they let them go from there. Starting point is 00:07:29 Exactly, so that bridge I mean I don't even know why it fell so fast that was my question. I would think because the way is built it should have been able to take that hit and maybe stay for a minute before Buffalo would't throw, but it fell immediately. One guy, he fell into the water, he was on the bridge and felt in and walked away unscathed. Unscade. And I was like, I'd walk straight to the church and gave my life of Christ right there and man. But another guy was in critical condition, everybody else, all the other six construction workers, they did. They did. Which is sad because you've got to tell these families that, you know, your husband died in a freak accident.

That's one of the most prominent bridges here in Merrill. This bridge connects what we call the Beltway. So it's like an intra-state. So it goes around the Baltimore metropolitan area. And this bridge connects the Beltway because there's a, you know, there's a land, a water divide right there. Starting point is 00:12:14 It's the only through way in and out of the port of Baltimore. So we have cargo ships coming in. We got cruise ships coming in. But now those cargo ships can't come in and those cruise ships can't come in. But that bridge down like that. So that's going to destroy an already hurting economy, right? Exactly.

Starting point is 00:12:35 It's going to destroy the economy. It's going to hurt the economy here in Baltimore. It's going to hurt jobs with a long shortening the revenue for the state of Maryland because right now we've got crew ships that can't come in. They got to get detoured to other ports. So that's going to devastate that and then on top of that, the cargo containers, the cargo ships, they can't come in to take the goods out and they can't bring goods in. So his benevolent wisdom, oh, we're going to enforce the curfew. But the way he's going to enforce the curfew, he's going to have city employees, not police employees. I'm talking about your grandmother that work at the border company. You know, go around talking about, hey kids, it's time to go in the house now. These kids'm like, bro, you can't, you can't be soft on crime in the city like this. You can't.

Starting point is 00:27:26 You know, he's just, he's one of the people that want to give second, third, four, fifth, six chances. You know, because before, like back in the early 2000s, we, it was zero toleraned. It was like illegal. Like, if you got caught in Maryland, their, thap, tha, tha, got five off the rip. You got five years off top. They started, you know, making all of that lenient. They went from heaven, you know, they went from prosecuting anything over $500 to anything over $1,000, you know, and that's if they will be prosecuted. You know what I mean? He's just, his leadership has been really bad. But what we've discovered is, if there isn't any consequences, people, people aren't going to follow the rules. So we have to have this kind of, we have to find this fine line. Like, I think that we've all agree, we would all agree that there's been a system of racism within the criminal justice department of our country and history.

Starting point is 00:29:10 Okay? Without doubt, without a doubt. And we're very sensitive to that right now. You know, it's like why I give to any of these groups that are trying to help innocent people get out of prison. Like I donate every month. So we're very conscious of that. But at the same time, we can't overstep and go, everybody that's being arrested is innocent and they're only being arrested because of a demographic they're a part of. Because that, that, we've seen that, we've seen the answer to that the the results of that and it's it's just pure chaos it is mad max chaos yeah and

Starting point is 00:29:52 that's the thing and I said that yesterday and I said it on a hotel Jesus show yesterday if you're going to you're going to paint the city got to enforce your laws that you already got on the books it's got to be consequences for the action of these children, you know, and for these adol. You robbing somebody, mugging people, you got, you got to go down. You got to get the book thrown at you, period. They're not doing that.

Starting point is 00:30:14 They're giving these kids, I call the turnstile police there are no consequences. On top of that, we used to have vocational schools here, Sam. Remember vocational schools, you get a high school, you might learn how to rebuild an engine block? We don't got that here in Boston on no more. I think we might got one or two vocational schools now. We used to have a West Side skill center that took, you know, network plus, thirty, their their their their people, their, their, their, their, their, thi, some kind of trade that go and make it in the workforce or get an entry-level job. We don't have those resources anymore. You know, they used to be free to the to the community. Next thing you know, legal mindset, he gone. Hote up Jesus. His channel got taken down. I think Chrissy Mayor might have got that. It was a lot of us that got got. Just for that, just for reacting to that ad and kind,

Starting point is 00:41:13 saying it was a great ad. Like the censorship is remarkable and it's always around the time it's election year.
