Hi, I'm comedian and historian Nashville and this is tomorrow today.
The future is now, old man.
We're here to talk to you about the crazy things being studied and discovered in labs, in archives, and in research projects around the globe.
We won't just talk to you about it, but we're going to be bringing on notoriously fun and exciting academics and other researchers to dive deep, deep into the subjects.
All the minutia.
You don't know how to sell this, do you?
No.
Did you ever even introduced yourself?
I'm Andy.
So.
That's on me.
I set the bar too low.
Okay.
Well, somewhere between our bickering, we'll be dissecting the history of these subject matters to bring you up to speed.
And we'll be talking about what tomorrow, proverbially, looks like, but we'll tell you, you know, get ready for it.
So ready for it.
Today.
Ah, I did not see that coming.
Who could have, really?
this is going to be fun but really you need to introduce yourself it's like a it's like a thing oh okay so fine
i'm andy chikone podcaster author speaker hey i speak okay as i was saying author speaker farmer and let's just say
public nuisance and private nuisance thanks so a little bit about the podcast it became clear to both of us based on our research
for our other projects.
If you know me before listening to this,
you're probably familiar with death and friends.
Oh yeah, and for my poor proles fans,
thanks for tuning in.
In our research, it became very clear
that a lot of the stuff we were reading about
doesn't make its way to the public very quickly.
If it does at all.
And if it does, it's often unreviewed papers
with some new miracle cure for something
and we never hear about it again.
I think I've heard about Alzheimer's being cured like 10 times
and then nothing again.
But maybe that's on me.
Maybe I have Alzheimer's.
Exactly.
So, we decided to take this process into our own hands.
Whatever happened to all those mice?
Oh, they're dead.
They're very dead.
Who thought letting you talk about this stuff was a good idea?
Terrible idea.
Horrible, really.
That said, here we are.
And maybe our high school history books have been updated since when we were there,
and the Korean War was just being wrapped up.
But they're probably just finding out about 9-11.
Oh, boy.
Wait till they find it about the WMDs.
The what?
Don't worry about it.
Anyways, we hope you find the topics we cover exciting.
Not only will we be talking with researchers and sciences,
but arts, history, archaeology, agriculture, and so many more subjects.
Pretty much anything we find interesting.
From polyamory to...
Just diving into the deep end, huh?
It's 2021.
We checked to see if the water's warm.
Climate change is going to make it warm anyway.
Fair.
And we'll talk about that too.
and foods and farms and...
You cannot talk about sheeps and pigs.
You mean polyammery?
Okay. Nope. We're not here. I regret all of this.
So go check us out wherever you get your podcasts.
They're listening to us right now. You don't need to say any of that.
I mean, maybe.
Maybe what?
