Tomorrow - A Message From Josh
Episode Date: November 23, 2015There will not be a new Tomorrow episode this week. The reason? Thanksgiving. Like all Americans, including the great Donald Trump, Josh is taking time to be with his family and reflect on the many wo...nderful things he has been so lucky to receive in his life. Like his bow and arrow set, that small hat he wears only on Wednesdays, and a lifetime "all you can eat" card from Dairy Queen. This week off will also allow Josh time to recharge his batteries, both the ones he uses in his pacemaker, as well as the metaphorical batteries which power his soul. Or whatever is powering Josh, because he still doesn't believe in souls even after watching "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" twice in the theater. But you get the point. We'll be back with more new Tomorrow next week. In the meantime, why not take a load off and Whip The Dip™ with your whole family? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hey, this is Josh and got some bad news, got some terrible news. I am not doing a podcast this week.
I'm taking the week off. As you may know, this is the week of Thanksgiving and like all great
Americans, such as Sarah Palin, Donald Trump. I am taking a break to be with my family to reflect on all of the many
things that I have to be thankful for to think of new and horrible things that
are going to happen to you and your family and so on and so forth. You get it
anyhow. So I will not be doing a full podcast this week and you get this
terrible short message in its place which must must be upsetting to you. And I'm sure some of you are angry.
I would expect a significant amount of hate mail
to be sent to my producer, Magnus, who is Swedish.
His email address is magnusatomorrowpodcast.com.
And he loves getting your mail.
He really does.
He told me the other day he said,
we were having a drink together.
And he said, you know, Josh,
one of the few joys I have in my life,
which is truly almost totally devoid of any joy is getting emails
from your listeners.
It really brightens my day.
Of course, he said that with a thick Swedish accent, so it was very difficult to make out
all of the words.
But the important thing is that he wants them email.
You got to send them the email, and particularly in moments of anger or hatred, like you're feeling
right now about this, no, no podcast situation.
You got to strike out.
I get a lash out and you got a lash out at Magnus.
Magnus at tomorrowpodcast.com.
Anyhow, I will be back next week with a new show, a post Thanksgiving, a very special
post Thanksgiving episode.
And I think you'll enjoy it. You know, you don't have to enjoy it. I'm not going to force you to enjoy it.
But I think that you'll find it the very least of some minimal enjoyment.
And that's what I'm here for. That's what I want to provide you with as a small amount of enjoyment every week.
So anyhow, that's the end of this message. I appreciate you taking the time to listen. I appreciate you
taking the time to listen to the podcast at all, frankly, and one of the things I'm thankful
for on this very important and special holiday is the listeners of the podcast. You guys
are amazing and awesome. And I can't believe anybody listens to me talk. So it's always
a surprise when I find out that we're not, we don't have to take the show off the air.
Anyhow, and if you, by the way, if you do like to listen, I don't normally do this, but
if you do like to listen and you enjoy what you're hearing on tomorrow podcasts, which I
will say is only going to get better in the near future, bigger and better in several
ways that I can't go into right now, but let's just say some
very exciting stuff up ahead.
If you do like it, feel free to go on iTunes or anywhere else that you talk about podcasts
and review us, give it a good rating.
I say us, it's really just me and Magnus, who's getting paid very little to do the work
here.
Anyhow, but yeah, feel free to review it, talk about it, whatever.
I'm not going to beg you, I'm not going to force you, just like I won't force you to enjoy it,
but you know, it's the least you could do for me really.
It's a free, it's free, you know, you don't have to pay for it.
Okay, I think I've rambled a bit more than I intended to here, but the important thing
is that we share at a moment.
I'll be back next week with more, and as always, I wish you and your family the very best
on this wonderful Thanksgiving holiday, and I'm absolutely certain that nothing bad will happen to you
or the people you love.
