Starting point is 00:00:00 And he flicked it out. And it landed on my front passenger seat. Hi, I'm Hilary from Reading in the UK. Hi, I'm Robin from Smithers, British Columbia, Canada. Hi, I'm back from Wollongong and I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. My name is Ryan. This is Tony Lodge. Tony just went, can I?
Starting point is 00:00:38 And I just went, shh. And Tony's lost it. No, that's fine. Oh, fuck. I was like, I won't talk then. I've already fucked it. What would you like to add? I don't even know what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:00:52 It was probably just got to be in. Remember that time when you had a thought and then you forgot about it for three weeks and then we posted it on Patreon? But then we shit it on Patreon. Now people know the thought. Yeah. Now there's this viral story because there's this Etsy witch and you can go on to Etsy and the witch will like chat to you get to a vibe and then she goes, I will draw your soulmate. Oh my God, amazing.
Starting point is 00:01:16 So she draws a picture and gives it to the girl of this and goes, this is the guy for you, she says to someone. Oh my God. A week later, she finds this exact man and now they're in love and it's all happening and the Etsy witch, it was like, she's amazing. Now, this story has blown up and gone vavavavav viral. and I think the funniest part of this story is that the guy doesn't actually look anything like the drawing. So everyone's like, oh my God, it's uncanny.
Starting point is 00:01:49 How did the Etsy witch know? Is it confirmation bias? Did she really know? Blah, blah, blah. And I think... It's just two white guys. Yeah. Like, no shade, but it is just two white guys.
Starting point is 00:02:02 None at all. They are the whitest of guys. Not too much shade, maybe. Get in the sun. she goes this is your and then she goes I found him and we're in love I mean Slay you're in love absolutely love to see it
Starting point is 00:02:14 but that's not that guy I'm not the same guy because that guy looks a little bit like that guy that Bridget thinks is too much not like enough that other guy it does yeah Glenn Powell yeah yes
Starting point is 00:02:29 where's this just looks like any guy that's just a guy and Slay once again may I pass on my congratulations legislations. Yeah. He does. The, the, the drawing from the Etsy witch. Glenn Towers younger brother. Yeah. With an ozrein. Yeah. Now, there's been some accusations made in the comment section that the Etsy witch has paid for the New York post to write this story because she's had thousands of inquiries and purchases. People were like, hi, can I, can you draw my soulmate? Blah blah. And so she's like, oh, they, there's, there's questions. But if you were going to
Starting point is 00:03:05 hey or maybe in an unsavory way set up this whole thing to you know get yourself some more business wouldn't you do a better match of the photo wouldn't you like if you if you were get this guy and then just copy him and then draw that guy
Starting point is 00:03:23 or get a completely unrelated man but do you know what I mean like if you were fabricating it anyway surely you do a better job yeah do you know I hear what you're saying yeah what do you think do you think Do you think that they've... Well, ever...
Starting point is 00:03:36 The comment... And it's like... Sorry, you just started three different sentences. The comments are like, oh my God, it's crazy. I can't believe it. The girl's like, yeah, this is amazing. And I'm like, it's not the same guy. Am I being gaslit?
Starting point is 00:03:49 That's not the same guy. That's not the same guy. They both look lovely. I wouldn't even go, oh my God. He looks a little bit like that guy. I wouldn't. It's just two separate white guys. It's just two different people.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Like, oh, well, he had two eyes and a nose and a mouth. I'm like, well, fucking. What a chance? Yeah. What a lot? But I just don't think. Should we, now that we already know our soulmates, Talk to the Etsy Witch.
Starting point is 00:04:18 Talk to the Etsy Witch. I'm a fan of an Etsy. Like, I've got, this is not which racism. I genuinely love it. And then see if she draws something similar to Bridge or Charles. Torps. Torps. Oh, whoops. Charles is not my soulmate.
Starting point is 00:04:33 He's just the thing on the side. You're just a good time. Well, you're not my soulmate, Charles, and you know that. Well, I love you and you're, you know, important to me. But you know my soulmate? That's fine. I guess you can have a friend's soulmate. Maybe that's more accurate.
Starting point is 00:04:51 A platonic soulmate. A soulmate who helps me set up my live streams. Like a soul sister. Do you know what I mean? Like that kind of vibe. So true. No. Let's do normal or no.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Normal or not, finding out you're not the soulmate. At work. If you're listening to this pod, we will put the photos of those people in the Facebook group so you can compare notes. Yeah, even though you could look at pictures of any two people and have the same information. Imagine a white guy and then imagine a completely different white guy. Yeah, that's basically it. Sarah Allen has a normal owner. Hi, Sarah Allen.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Specific shops giving you the sudden urge to poo. every time I go into a blockbuster or a HMV or any shop that has that warm plastic smell, boom, need a shit. Normal mine's Bunnings. Whenever I go to Barnings. Is it the smell of the timber, the freshly cut wood? I don't know. I think it's because I want to spend time in there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:57 And it's like my body's like, well, the clock's ticking. I'll give you 10 minutes. It's something to do. Yeah. But I do think that it's the security. of knowing that there's a toilet in Bunnings. Dude, you're speaking my language. No, I feel so comfortable in Bunnings because I know there's a toilet.
Starting point is 00:06:13 Because you know there's a toilet you can use. So that for me, I'm like, oh, I'm safe here. New blog idea. Vlog idea for Patreon. We won't give each other any other intel, but we just see who can spend the longest in Bunnings. I reckon I could go weeks. You do a Bunnings.
Starting point is 00:06:35 No, I reckon I could literally. truly weeks. Oh, but that means you'd have to illegally stay the night. And I'm not saying that to no, I'm just saying. Yeah. But like, if you rocked up. So what do you mean? Because I, I, I, I, I piss it in.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Sorry. But you don't know how long I'm going to do. So we, like, we just separately go on a Bunnings trip and then we come back and say, how long did you stay and whoever had the highest time wins? Who's going to make the podcast? I'm going to be in his Bunnings for two months. Should we do an episode from Bunnings? Could we?
Starting point is 00:07:05 If Peekees. Duck can do a fucking rave into Bunnings, we can do a podcast episode. Do you know as well that they did that rave at my Bunnings? The Preston Bunnings. I know. I've got some connections down at that Bunnings, as you know. Do you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Why is that where you met the CWA ladies? And we do our stool there. Yeah? Maybe we could do a crossover between the CWA and the Tony and Ryan podcast. You are the, you are the middle bit of the Venn diagram. The ladies at the CWA would love that song. Would they? Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:07:33 And I would love them. They would come for that. I can't wait. Wait to hang out with Brenda and... Her name's Beryl and you know it. I clearly don't know it. How's Glynnis? There's not Glynnis, but you know, Maria from the CWA, she's a huge fan of the pod.
Starting point is 00:07:50 Yeah, she watches every day. Arveh, she's my favourite. And let's do it. Let's sort it out. Us and the CWA. At the Bunnings. Hey, you've supported me with the guide dogs. I'll support you with the CWA.
Starting point is 00:08:03 We'll sell some jams or something, you know? Well, yeah, I mean, we could, but do we have to do it? We could just go to the stall. They would love to have us there selling. Fucking slinging jams. Because Maria, the tapper, she makes all of our jams, all our chutneys, everything. She makes all that. Would Bridget be able to contribute some Fijoa chutney?
Starting point is 00:08:20 Or would that be, like, would they not like that? No, it's not they wouldn't like it, but there are lots of rules. Yeah, I bet. I bet. I bet there is. Like, it has to be made in the proper kitchen and, like, because we go to like a, you know. Yeah. There's old bitties in their rules.
Starting point is 00:08:34 No, it's not out. They don't like them. We don't like them either. I'm about to say that week, we don't like it. There's a lot of red tape. Yeah. Yeah. And that's why I'm running for Senator of Victoria.
Starting point is 00:08:48 To reduce red tape for the CWA. For CWA. My number one issue. Just a bunch of tarts making tarts. Let us go. Let the tarts roll. I love bunnings. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Let's try. Let's hook that up. Do you know what's good about a? Bunnings also. Everything? Well, yeah, so true. I love the paint section because all the different color vary and you go, but which blues for you? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Which blues speaks to you? I love looking at the little cards. Yeah. It's beautiful. It's crazy how different two blues can be. It's crazy how different 800 blues can be. But like, you just was blue, isn't it? No.
Starting point is 00:09:24 Best Friend Challenge. We'll do this during the episode or is it a live stream. Yeah, to be determined. Live stream. Could we do a tapathon in? Bunnings. We're not doing a tarpathon. this year. Next year. February, book it in. Here, this is a best friend test. Think about all
Starting point is 00:09:42 the blue paints available. We have to just go and pick a blue each and try and get the same one. Oh, I love it. I literally love it. I could do it. We could do it all day. Yeah. And then we can do a pink. And then we can do a yellow. Green. Pibble! You didn't do a white, would you? Pick your favorite beige. None. If I said you pick my favorite beige, you'd walk back empty-handed. Yeah. Because you know me. We don't do beige, we do fun. We do fun. Next normal or nah is from Amanda Lee. Oh, it's not that one, sorry.
Starting point is 00:10:14 I'm going to say it's weird to read out a normal or not from a heinous f***. I thought that's interesting. Not my words. L-E-I-G-H is that one spelled. Oh, slow. Normal or nah? Listening to podcasts and audiobooks at two times speed. everyone sounds like they're having a mild emergency
Starting point is 00:10:36 but you get through twice as much content I just don't I think that we already talk too fast listening to this not two times speed would you wouldn't hear anything and listen to all I've got to say what a great example of exactly what we're talking about sometimes and it depends on which part of America
Starting point is 00:10:56 are you going slowly now on purpose I'm very much thinking about what is happening with my mouth You're not only thinking about what's out of anything in your mouth. Just what's happening to your cock with my mouth. Got a little gap in my fringe. Sorry. Are we all?
Starting point is 00:11:17 We're good. Oh, I'm fine. There's the podcast that come from the south of the US. Sure. And sometimes I'm like, yeah, got you. I think that all-American podcasts are like that for me. You want to be quicker? But I think.
Starting point is 00:11:34 think that we converse quite fast. Same. So I think it like... And if you're not from Australia, you need that little extra half a second for the accent to sink in. But if I'm listening... Like, we listen to an Irish podcast on double speed. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:11:45 You would... Nah, it just set on fire. Yeah. But, I mean, the only podcast, except for the odd, like, random business one, if you send me one, you're like, oh, this is really interesting. I'll listen to that. Yeah. Like...
Starting point is 00:11:56 Sometimes. But like, you know, that kind of thing. I'd listen to a one-off so it doesn't affect me. But the only podcast I listen to every day is Trixie and Carty and Carty. here. Of course. And I would never listen to that on double speed because they are quite quick. But also a comedy pod, I'm like, you need room for the like nuance of a joke.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah. So it feels like I'm fucking their gear. Yeah. If I listen to it fast. Twice speed's crazy. I'll give someone like a 1.2. Oh. Sometimes.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Can you adjust it? Yeah. It's like a sliding thing. Oh, I literally never done it. Yeah. So a 1.1 or 1.2 just to, you know, keep moving. Yeah. Especially an audio book that's a business book by an American yacht.
Starting point is 00:12:36 It's slow. Yeah. Yeah. But double speed is crazy. You listen to a lot of pods, Charles. Do you do fast? I don't do. I, some Americans, I do 1.25. But an audiobook the other day, I did 2.4 or something.
Starting point is 00:12:50 What? It was so slow. 2.4. Yeah, it was because I wanted to, like, read along with the, like, on my Kindle and listen to the audio book. Oh, if I was reading along, I'd be doing it. What are you doing fucking leapfrogs? reading eggs? What the fuck you're talking about?
Starting point is 00:13:04 I've heard that. I've heard that. It really sinks in hard if you listen and read at the same time. It was creativity in because what I was listening. I was doing it in the sauna in Bali. We've been out, tech, bro. No, there's a feature now. You scan the page and then that bit comes up and that's where it plays from.
Starting point is 00:13:28 That's amazing. Is that why you were talking about your audible subscription? Oh, because of their donation, the good friends of audible are hooked us up. with some subscriptions, Charles. Would you like one, Tony? I think I already pay for it. Great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:44 You already have like three. Yeah. But now I'll have two. Well, one of them will be free. It's like... How good to creativity, Inc., though? It's good so far. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:55 I'm only up to, like, chapter four. It's the people that created Pixar. I know. Because I told Tony all about it for six months. I know, yeah. No, but you guys talk about your book. That's fine. Vicki Bennett has a normal owner
Starting point is 00:14:08 Hi Vicki Who still has Easter eggs This many months after Easter Guilty I reckon I've got Easter eggs From two years ago Like they just sit in the cupboard I've got a dairy milk bunny
Starting point is 00:14:19 That stares at me every night And I go One day I'll get you When you go into your butler's pantry Why doesn't the butler just pass it to It's just called a butler's pantry I don't have a butler Sorry two butlers
Starting point is 00:14:34 Butlers It's called a Butler's pantry though It really is It's just a big cupboard Like it's just, yeah, but it's a walk-in. A walk-in in New York City? You're talking a big game for someone with three toilets. And that's all I'll say.
Starting point is 00:14:53 That's all I'll say. I put my boob on one brayer at a time and you know that. I do. Keeping your Easter egg in the freezer. Oh, no. I opened the freezer at work and found all these Easter eggs in there. Oh, no. Not a communal.
Starting point is 00:15:11 My colleague called it his chocolate crisps. Oh, that guy's going to be on the news. No, that's really upsetting. I'm just going to skip on to Tristan Williams. I'm just going to skip on to Tristan Williams. Normal or not, putting icing sugar on pancakes. I've been doing it since I was a child and the older I got, the more I realized that I'm the only one doing it. I don't think I've, yeah, I don't think I've ever had it.
Starting point is 00:15:34 We're going through a pancake phase at my house at the moment. You're fucking welcome. I love pancakes. Pancakes, fuck. Is it a winter thing? Is it a warm pancakes? pancake on a cold morning. Oh, yeah, potentially.
Starting point is 00:15:44 It's like a Sunday morning at our house. We'll either do the Dutch baby pancake or we'll just do pancakes, but then we've got the syrup and the fruit and stuff and the lemons and, but icing sugar, would they say? Yeah, I've never done icing sugar. It's too fine.
Starting point is 00:15:59 I just don't really not. It reminds me of Tony Lodge. Would it give you much, like, would it do much? It just makes me feel like it was just disintegrating to nothing. But it does. Yeah. Yeah, would it just like soak into the... Into the golden syrup.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Into the, but even into the pancakes, if it was warm, wouldn't it just like soak in? That's a narch, Kristen. But I love pancakes. I think they're a year-round food. Because I think you can have it as like a warm, like, breakfast. But also it feels like nice and zingy to have it with like summer fruit. So true. You know?
Starting point is 00:16:33 That feels normal. Okay. So unlike hand jobs, pancakes are year-round. Apple will me in my mouth no matter what the sun's doing. Who's son? Mandy. Hey, Mandy, what's your son doing? Me?
Starting point is 00:16:54 I'm so sorry. We were about to cut with it. I just have to say, if I called your mum and said that to her, she go, oh! Do it now, call her now. No, no. I don't know if I've got her number. I can call her on Facebook Messenger.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Do you want me to give you her number? Her number? I know it off by heart It feels prank adjacent You know your mum's number off my heart I fucking hope so Yeah Look those first four digits
Starting point is 00:17:28 Oof I don't get you going She hasn't answered What did I say I was going to say What's your son doing? Hey it's Tony What's your son doing? Hello Mandy speaking
Starting point is 00:17:45 Hi Mandy it's Tony How are you? Hello Tony How are you? I'm good, how are you? Good. I just had a quick question about what your son's doing. What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:17:58 Sorry, Mandy, you are. And I can't do tricks to you because I love you and you know that. Oh, that's okay. I see a phone call. I never know whether to answer it. I'm going to get tricked into saying something stupid. Oh, Mandy, I could never trick you into saying something stupid. I just have to open my mouth and it happens.
Starting point is 00:18:17 Oh, well, if I open my mouth, Mandy, you know what happens to me? Sorry, okay. I think, yeah, I think we're tired with the same brush. Ask her what happens if Mabel has coffee. Oh, Mandy, Ryan's told me to ask you what happens if Mabel has coffee. Has coffee? What does she say? What does she say?
Starting point is 00:18:35 What does she say? What does she say? I don't know. What is she saying? She's bouncing off the walls. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Off the walls.
Starting point is 00:18:48 She's funny. She cracks me up. She is good. Oh, well, thank you. Thanks for letting me interrupt you day, Mandy. Thank you. That's all right. I'm just making a cup up.
Starting point is 00:18:56 Um, so he's... Two hours later. Hi, I'm Hilary from Reading in the UK. Hi, I'm Beck from Woolingong. I'm Robin from Smithers, British Columbia, Canada. And you're listening to Tony and Ryan. I'm Massey Shire. Just been on the phone to Mandy for two minutes.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Yeah, so I've just had a quick three-hour interlude while Tony and Mandy finished gas bagging. Surprised either of you could get a wording with the other one there. Yeah, and that's the thing. The two of us, we egg each other on. How have I created a life where I'm not getting a word in? You know what I mean? Between Bridget, your mom, me, Bonnie.
Starting point is 00:19:51 Yeah. Just all these queen slaying, you know? Slade queen. Boots down, huntie. Yeah. Massive shout out to a few of our champion. Patreon. One space left to come to podcast today, by the way. One space left. Might be one of these people.
Starting point is 00:20:08 Shanice Pot. She can get it. She needs to get to Fiji. What? What was her name? She needs to get to Fiji. Slae. She nephew to Fiji.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Nez-a-neffi. I'm going to piss myself. Ari I'm going to finish his episode. Yeah, I know. It's going to take me three years to piss on these pants. Ryan's wearing a onesie. How did I get so much shit yesterday about wearing a dress and Ryan's wearing a onesie today?
Starting point is 00:20:38 The reason I'm not getting shit is because you can't see my pussy through this onesie. And it's a fucking crunching! Myrtle Turtle. Thank you, Myrtle Turtle. You'll see some Myrtle turtles when we go snorkeling in Fiji. I'll bring my prescription snorkel goggles. Please do. Kayla Jane Douglas.
Starting point is 00:20:55 Good on you, Kayla Jane. Chloe Griffiths. Love to see it, Chloe. L.J. Louise Jane Murray. Katrina Katrina Yeah Katrina
Starting point is 00:21:04 Natasha good on you Tasha hardly know Brooke Sophie Pommas and Kate Barbe Gello Raceway Tony Tony used to spend every Friday night
Starting point is 00:21:15 at Barbe Gallo Raceway I did when I had no autonomy and my parents taught me what I had to do all the time I used to go to the Barbegallo Raceway
Starting point is 00:21:21 every single Friday night my mum would make burgers and wrap them in Alfoil and we took them with us because all the other families could afford to buy food from there and we could end.
Starting point is 00:21:31 And so it looks like you bought it there. Yeah. Yeah. So it looked like my mom cared that we didn't want to fill our outcasts, but we couldn't afford to do it. So she'd buy, do you remember at like the brand black and gold? Absolutely. Like that used to get from IGA and whatever.
Starting point is 00:21:48 And they would sell like a 30 pack of burgers in the freezer section. She would buy that and like cook them up. Yeah. And you have like chip them apart with like a chisel. How many do we need today? Yeah. Yeah, how are we going? So I want to talk about some bad timing.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Okay. Because I feel like lots of things happen to me and they're all excellent. Sometimes just things happen and it's a bit of bad timing. Yesterday I was in traffic and I don't often have my windows down in the car. It's like not really how I roll. You're not a windows down girl because when you're busy abusing people on the road, you have to have your window up. Well, I don't want them to hear me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:28 And I really, I never have my windows down. And I just put them down a touch. Like, I'm talking like three inches. Is there a reason for this? And were you listening to Natasha Beddingfield? I think I was listening to a song. I was really vibe here there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:43 And he was like, yeah. I think I was listening to that fucking Dom Duller remix again, Charles, which I've just been fucking hammering in my car. No. We can't. I just know that one song. And it's just a remix from an other old song. That's what DJs do.
Starting point is 00:22:56 Yeah, but this one thing is like a cover. Not even like a foot. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I was listening to Dom Duller in the car. I had the windows down about three inches. My car is quite low to the ground. Next to me at the lights is a guy in like a Ford Ranger Raptor, like a high. Big tough man, you, big truck.
Starting point is 00:23:15 Yute. Troop. And he was biting his, like I could see him. He had his like finger in his mouth like and he was resting his like elbow on the window. And he was like biting his fingernail. and he flicked it out and it landed on my front passenger seat Oh my
Starting point is 00:23:36 No And then the light goes green And the world expected me to just move on Like you're not going to need Seven business days to figure that out So he's just going And then To it's going on
Starting point is 00:23:54 So he just goes Yeah and he did It wasn't, he didn't go, fuck you. Like, just flicked out the window. Got caught in the wind. My windows down. How many times have you had your window down in the last 12 months? Once.
Starting point is 00:24:07 So your ratio. Except for when I'm going through the drive-thru. Oh, you see. So 50,000. So your ratio of window down to fingernail received is one. It's 100%. Yeah. That is fucked.
Starting point is 00:24:20 And so I'm just sitting in the car. Oh my God. And you know what? intersection I was at, you know, when you're coming like, back towards reservoir where there's that like eight-way intersection that goes under the train lines, like next to the coast, I'm sitting there like towards my house and I'm the light goes green, this, like, takes off and I'm just like, if you drive a Ford Raptor in reservoir and you flicked a nail out of window,
Starting point is 00:24:56 look what you've done to this innocent young lass who, now has a man's DNA in her car for reasons not normal. Yeah, not the regular one. That is fucking crazy. I could not believe it. What is it still in there? Did you pick it up with your hands and throw it back out? I didn't touch it with my hands.
Starting point is 00:25:14 I had like a receipt in the, like I bought fuel. I had a receipt and I plonked it up with the receipt and I put it in the bean at my house. I didn't know what to do with it. You need to throw it out the window straight away? Take it to the police for fingerprints. Go here. Take it to the police. DNA test this and find the driver of a Ford Raptor who's flicking fingernails into females cars.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Well, I was like, is this a biomedical situation? Let's call biodome. It's a great movie. We'll watch it next week. I'm just like. That's fucking insane. I was literally, I'm like in disbelief, like looking at the... And the lights gone great.
Starting point is 00:25:58 I've got to go. I've just got to move on with my life. And how did you? I couldn't stop looking at it. And I was like, should I pull over? How do I keep one of my eyes on the road and one on this fingernail? Because I'm not just going to let that sit there unsupervised. See, that was the other thing.
Starting point is 00:26:14 What if you drive off and it falls away, then you'll never know. And then you've got some random strangers fingernail in your car. How do you explain that? Dude, who's going to ask about it? When someone comes across and they go, oh, yuck and I go, oh. Excuse me, ma'am. This is a police breathaler. Can you just breathe into there?
Starting point is 00:26:30 And who the fuck's fingernails that? I don't know. I don't know. And they go, oh, unexplained. She murdered someone. Yeah, great. Where'd you bury the body? Don't.
Starting point is 00:26:39 I would start to, I would confess to a crime I didn't for me. Yeah. We know it was you. And you go, okay. I was. I'm so sorry. Just because he's just in case. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:47 Yeah. So. That's fucked. That is fucked. Not only was it in my car, but it's now in my bin, which feels weirder and worse. You took it into your house. Well, I took it into, no, just to my wheelie bin. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:57 I didn't take it into the kitchen. Yeah, that's wild. That's private. Well, fingernails are private. That's private. Yeah. Yeah. But it was just...
Starting point is 00:27:07 That is fucked up. The timing of that. What are the chances? I know. All right, now this is a wild card. Yep. Let us know on the episode thread on Facebook or if you're watching on YouTube, put in the comments. What's landed in your car?
Starting point is 00:27:23 What's been flung into your car? What's fallen through... Is this too niche? What's fallen through the sunroof? what came in the window that's not Charles is standing there Can you beat a dirty fingernail? And it was unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:27:38 And another question, do you drive a Ford Raptor and you live in reservoir? And you look like you might be a real estate agent. A real estate agent and a Ford Raptor is not a combination you see every day. He had like a business shirt on. So I don't know, but that's just my God. I was waiting for the next part that suggested he was a real estate agent and it didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:27:58 Oh, he was wearing a shirt with a collar. Must have been real estate. No, okay. So here's my thinking. Construction manager. Maybe, maybe. But because they were driving during the day, I just assume it's a real estate agent. Name four professions.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Because it sounds like you don't know anything besides real estate agents. So real estate agent, obviously, first cab off the rank, podcast host. Yep. Lock Smith. Yep. There's one in our building. Software development. Puff. None of them are driving around during the day.
Starting point is 00:28:32 Tox is? Toops doesn't drive around. What times you go to work? Like 10? That's during the day. Is he wearing a collar? No. Isn't he?
Starting point is 00:28:41 No. Tops goes to work every day in Unicloat pants and a industry t-shirt. Really? Yeah. He's really giving up for there, hasn't he? No, he's just. I remember his first day and he had a little collar on. Did he have a collar on?
Starting point is 00:28:54 That didn't last long. I don't think he did. Maybe that was at the conference. You've seen him in a collar. First, he's giving up the collar. Second, he's letting fucking other blocs throw these, their fingernails into his fiance's car. I mean, this is where it all starts going downhill, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yeah, that's what they say. First a fingernail. Then a real nail. Relationship over. So, yeah, pretty bad timing. Might be a bit niche, but let us know if something's falling into your car. I've got to you love to see it here from Alyssa. Elissa Rudes, who says,
Starting point is 00:29:29 I've restarted the fucking blog. Great. I love to see it. I used to do a bit of graphic design illustrative work. Probably wouldn't be driving around during the day for that. No. But that got put on the back burner. The graphic designers need a big Ute?
Starting point is 00:29:44 Yeah. I thought the other day... Carry a computer around. If I had a big... iPad Pro. Would that make sense for my job? No. Is there any way I could justify that?
Starting point is 00:29:53 Well, I mean, there are times sometimes where we need to move stuff. To move stuff. Yeah. Go, yeah, I'm in production. He's got to carry some lighting rigs and cables. Gotta go to Bunnings. Probably there for three months. Tough guy.
Starting point is 00:30:07 Finger nail is still on. Yeah, it's probably not for me. I don't think so. What would you get if you did? Like the BYD shark. No, I think the... Touls his boss has that. Because I drive my wife's Volkswagen golf, I do...
Starting point is 00:30:21 Who's? And I like a Volkswagen. I've driven an Amorock before, which is the Volkswagen Big U. Oh, yeah. And they're really nice. You know what's nice the other day, actually? There was some undercover police people out the front of our house. How'd you know?
Starting point is 00:30:35 And they were in a Tuareg, the VW Tuareg, which is like the SUV one. That was nice. Tuareg? Tuareg? Tuhrig? Yeah. Tuareg? Tuareg?
Starting point is 00:30:46 Tuhrig? Whatever. But they were in that. Yeah, they're nice. Two undercover cops. What are they doing out there? They both had lanyards on and they were filling in paperwork. And as I walked out the front, they went, stared me down until I got in my car and drive off.
Starting point is 00:30:59 I don't think I've told this story on the podcast. What is that? When you and me dressed up as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey at the tennis, I came back to work that night to edit the video to get it out straight away. Oh, yes, yep. And because we're in an industrial kind of area where it's like, people don't drive here at night. It's like people rock up to work and they go home and at night.
Starting point is 00:31:23 And so apparently there's been some break-ins because people are stealing tools and blah, blah, blah. Like they know on no one's right. So they see this car driving around at midnight. And the cops are like, well, where's this guy going on? And you were wearing a bucket hat. A Gucci. Like you made a Kmart shirt into a Gucci shirt. So they followed me up.
Starting point is 00:31:41 Then I had to press the button to get into the building. So I get out of the car in short white shorts, a white polo that says, it wasn't Gucci, but said something else, wasn't it? Wasn't it Gucci but spelt G-O-O-C-H? Yeah. And a bucket hat. And the cardigan. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:56 And they go, what's going on, mate? and I went, oh, I work here, and they went, okay. Sorry, Charles has just popped a picture of it on the screen. Those undercover cops, so shout out. Yeah, well, big fans of the pod. Yep. I've re-started the fucking blog, says Elisa. I used to do a bit of graphic design,
Starting point is 00:32:17 illustrative work, but got put on the back burner with work and kids. Yep. Tomorrow I'm doing my second free portfolio building gig, doing wedding and event guest illustrations. So, you know, when you go there and you do like the little illustrations of like, the bride and groom or whatever. I love that. Isn't that so sick?
Starting point is 00:32:35 Alyssa says, I've already booked my next three paid events with quite a few inquiries in the works. I'm really loving getting back into drawing and illustrating, which is something I used to do a lot before life got in the way. So beautiful. Did you say where they were based? No, I didn't. But it's Ellie Joy Designs on Insta. I've got the link.
Starting point is 00:32:57 Charles can pop it up and think. Should we hire Allie if they're close by, like during tarpathon to do a drawing or something? That would be so fun. Coming in February, not this year. Yeah, yeah, there's no type of time. Yeah. Sorry, that's harsh news to receive. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:11 And sorry, and blame Ali. But really soon we'll be announcing when we'll be coming to a city near you. Yep, if you're in Australia. Yeah. Port Macquarie, she's best. Paul McCquiry. Okay. That is a stretch.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Is there a bunnings in Park Macquarie? Yeah. Is Park Macquarie? Um, I think... On the Tuareg. Yeah, we'll do the... Do you reckon Volkswagen will sponsor the tour and we can call it the Tony and Ryan Twereg? My love to see it is from Chloe Erickson.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Electorphones! Yes, except she did not hire Torbs. That's niche. That's niche Torbs knowledge. Torbs apply to... You listen. To Erickson. And they were like, they loved him great interview.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Didn't even follow up to say he didn't get it. You know, I reckon he did too. two interviews. Yeah. Like he got through the, yeah. And they couldn't even send an automated email to say, sorry,
Starting point is 00:34:02 but we've gone another way. Fucking pussies, eh. Yeah. I hate that. Fuck you, Chloe. Chloe,
Starting point is 00:34:08 this is actually one of the- fucking redeem yourself with this girlfriend. Yeah. And she has, because this is one of the great you love to see it. I'm a holly for Chloe. Chloe goes,
Starting point is 00:34:17 there's this coconut water and raw sea is the brand. Yes. I have seen it. Yeah. Raw sea men more like because coconut water tastes like calm. But the flavour she wants to discuss today. Yep.
Starting point is 00:34:30 Is the pistachio and white chocolate flavor. Pistachio and white chocolate coconut water. Yeah. And Chloe's very honest here. She says, I don't know what the fuck's going on there. But from the day I first tried it when I was clammy, sweaty, vibrating with the shakes because I was violently hung over. I am a changed woman.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Have we got some? Are you about to roll some out of the? the fucking fridge? No, I wish I was. But pistachos such a specific... Well, it's just had a moment with the Dubai chocolate, isn't it? So true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:06 I'm a changed woman and I've never liked back. Granted. Imagine being like pistachios. Do you know what is so funny? Is that all the times... It was in Italy, everything had pistachio in it. All the times that pistachios come up, come up and you go, pistachios having a bit of a moment, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:35:19 It's like the most famous nut on earth right now. Well, it was a year ago. And... When we're in Italy, everything had pistachio. Yeah, because we were in Italy. And everything had pistachio. It's just the Sicilian nut, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:35:34 Charles gave me, a Cisicine, nah. As if you've rolled in with this as you'll love to see it and there isn't one in the fridge. I know, and that's crazy. That's actually on me. I should have done that. That's a blight on my character.
Starting point is 00:35:44 I really want to try that because I will say I have my reservations about the chocolate coconut water and that fucked and we drank that non, we drank that more than we drank water for about three weeks. Yeah, it was crazy. Like we went to a dark time. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:35:56 And we drank not a single drop of water. Yeah, a dark time. Tell that to the color of my urine. That went through a dark time. Urine? Yeah. Urine? Urine?
Starting point is 00:36:07 Urine? Piss. You're right. Chloe Erickson said, I'm a changed woman. We need it. We need the pistachio water. It's a bit weird, just like me. Slave.
Starting point is 00:36:19 It's an acquired taste, again, just like me. Chloe, thank you for sharing a great recommendation. That's a great recommendation. We all need to get some of this pistachio. Oh, God, pistachia is having a moment, isn't it? It is. How much should bring that up more. I wonder where that's come from.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Someone should mention it more. I'm lashing out. Next Tuesday on the show, we will have a review of Biodome and Pistachio and white chocolate coconut milk. I love it. And crazy. Let's drink the coconut water whilst watching Biodome. And it'll repeat back.
Starting point is 00:36:53 It'll repeat back. And we'll report back on Tuesday. Yeah, I love it. And the reason I say Tuesday is because I believe Monday will be a special episode. Monday's a special one. Yep. Because we're reviewing biodone. That's Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:37:09 All right, love the fuck out of you. Bye. Bye.
