Starting point is 00:00:00 I've got a warning about the movie Verity. No. That's very sexy. Is it? Oh. Well, maybe this weekend, Bridgen I'll go and see it. I'll look after Mabel and I'll look after your future child in nine months. Hi, I'm Madeline from Newcastle Australia.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Hi, I'm Rose from My sister UK. This is Zach in Fleetwood from Blacksburg, Virginia, and I am here to this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Rollinsville. podcast my name is Ryan this is dr. author bestselling doctor author bestselling doctor author Tony Lodge. Thanks for clicking on us today. Yeah big dog really appreciate it. Although we do have some bad news to share in a few minutes.
Starting point is 00:00:53 Sorry in advance. Oh and before the bad news I've got a warning. Oh fuck right. She's great start to the week. About the movie of the month. Which one? A warning about the movie Verity. If you go on watch it.
Starting point is 00:01:06 No. Lily and I, legal lil, Lil. And I had both read the book and we were talking about the other week. And then she's like, oh, on the weekend she texted me. She's like, you don't want to go see Verity, do you? I was thinking about going. And I was like, oh, fuck yeah, actually. Yeah, let's go.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Someone in my house has been very intrigued. All right. Well, let her know that it's very sexy. Is it? Oh. Like was it almost awkward between you and Lil sitting there? Have you guys made eye contact sense? A little bit of this.
Starting point is 00:01:39 And then we were. went to the cinema and I was it was like Lil on my left and then just like a random chick on the right yeah they both get it so I could kind of like turn away from Lou and then I was like from the stranger on the other side of me like sex scenes or just like the stuff they're talking about there is like a bit of sexy kissing there is a sex scene and then there is a scene that they added for fun because not on the book um which Dakota Johnson is in the bath And I reckon people will be Google on that. That's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:02:14 Oh hey! Wow. Charles has just shown us Dakota Johnson. And what happens? I will say, you guys, I would Google that separately. Privately without my friend from work being next to me. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:02:26 Yeah. So that's one of those movies. Oh, yeah. That bit definitely is. What happens in the bath? She's just jerking it. Yeah. And you kind of like seeing the scenes in her mind kind of play out.
Starting point is 00:02:38 But her nipple fully pops out. Yes. Do you imagine being the righter and just being like, reveal nipple? Yeah. Like the stage directions. Nipple flying in. Nipple out.
Starting point is 00:02:52 Thank you. We need about three liters less water because we need it to be the low nip. And the intimacy coordinator comes in and goes, are you okay? We're showing your nipple. And Dakota goes, oh, yep, they did tell me that that might be happening. That's fine. And they go, show the nipple.
Starting point is 00:03:05 Yeah. She just kind of, it's really, it's a good movie. But hang out, I'm not done with a nipple yet. So because that's not in the book, that's what I mean the writer goes, oh, so we've hired Dakota Fanning. Dakota Johnson. Dakota Johnson.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Different Dakotas. We want to see her nip. Yeah. Do we just add a scene? Yeah, and they have. Exactly what happened. They went, you know what? Dakota,
Starting point is 00:03:26 Hey, Dole, I know you've just signed on for the new Amazon Prime exclusive film, Verity, based on the best selling Colin of book. Look. Nips. How are your nipples? How do you feel about that?
Starting point is 00:03:38 As great as we all imagined. Yeah. And they were. Good for her. She is so fucking hot. Good for her. Like I have a fringe. Well, not right now because my hair's really dirty.
Starting point is 00:03:46 But I have a fringe. Hey, your hair's beautiful. But seeing her makes me want a fringe. And I already have one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've seen a lot of this chat online actually.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Yeah. It's like there's a few viral TikToks that are like every brunette after watching Verity. And they're all like in the fucking mirror are like cutting their fringe off. And I get it. having a fringe feels fun. The thing about... You have to be committed, though. Yeah, the thing about doing that is
Starting point is 00:04:14 when you cut the fringe, you're still not Dakota Johnson, which is so upsetting. That is what Lil said. She was like, do I get a fringe and then realize, like, even more that I'm not hurt? Were you considering going,
Starting point is 00:04:27 yeah. If you go through our text, there is quite a lot of Lil going, maybe if I did it to the side and not full on the front, like, we've had like DNA chats about, about this fucking about the fringe. Where are you out with the fringe at the moment?
Starting point is 00:04:40 Oh, I love it. My hair's just dirty. Yeah. And I'm also... But I know that you've gone through phase where you go, oh, the maintenance and, you know, is it worth it? You just have to be good at cutting it yourself. And until you get good at that,
Starting point is 00:04:52 you will not enjoy having a fringe. Like, you kind of have to just like, fuck it up a few times. Yeah. You've got to be willing to mess your fringe up to, like, get it to a good place. Well, maybe this weekend, Bridget and I'll go and see it. And I'll look after Mabel and I'll look after your future child in nine months because you're fucking after that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Well, what I was going to say is if I come in next Monday, smoking a cigarette. We'll know what happened. Smoking a cigarette and Bridget's got a fringe. Oh, yeah. I'll know that you went to the cinema. Oh, what did you see? Yeah. So the warning for people that are going to watch Verity is that it is very horny, so don't go and watch with your mum.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And the second one is put the scissors down, girlfriend. You think you want a fridge, but you don't. You don't. Put the scissors down, girlfriend. Okay? That's good advice. Yeah, it is good advice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:48 That's good advice. I do have some really bad news to share. Yeah, fucking hell. If you're not a champion tapper in our Patreon by November 1, you can't get the 2027 Tony and Ryan calendar. Boo boo boo, boo nasty You can't buy it later You've never been able to
Starting point is 00:06:09 But if you are a champion tarpa It'll get sent to your address You can share calendar selfies And you can get the most amazing Calendar shots ever taken These ones are going to be pretty good Yeah And here's an extra bonus
Starting point is 00:06:21 About getting the Tony and Ryan calendar You don't have to have a boring spot On your wall Where the calendar should have been And you know what I throw up when I see a blank wall yeah yeah you see a blank space
Starting point is 00:06:37 baby and all right Sydney Sydney yeah oh you have to be there do you know what I mean I don't know where you are
Starting point is 00:06:51 yeah I'm not there I mean Sydney yeah thanks Charles and for all my swiftly girls you know what I'm talking about Melbourne
Starting point is 00:07:03 no she didn't do it here And it wasn't even the Euras tour. It was like in the 1890s tour, right? Or red? I don't even know what album is. Huh? Rep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Yeah. Are you guys speaking English? Classic. Anyway. Some people, it's speaking of travel. Yes. Some people from around the world have sent in some questions. Tapas?
Starting point is 00:07:31 Yeah, about the calendar. Tapas have sent in questions. Amazing. And possibly the golden ticket, which is also back this year. More details than that tomorrow. But first of all, a chef from the bear with her thick Chicago accent in the middle of a busy lunch shift has a question that they've sent in. This was not part of the brief. We talked about this before.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Okay. Say the... A chef from the bear. Yep. Chicago. In the middle of a busy. lunch shift also has a question about the Tony and Ryan calendar. Chicago.
Starting point is 00:08:14 Behind. Order up. Two, two classics and a big orange juice. Famously not what they serve at the beer restaurant. Is it, behind? Oh,
Starting point is 00:08:33 yes, chef. Yes, chef. Is a champion top of tea on Patreon? I can sign up to a patreon.com slash Tony and Ryan. Yeah. Yes. Thank you. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:08:48 Head. Um, another question's come through. This is a, um, a Scottish grandmother who's afraid of heights and she's currently standing on the top of Tarp Tower. We score a grandmother. Oh,
Starting point is 00:09:07 my, we score a grandmother, scared of heights. Oh, is Patreon do live streams. You post bonus content and you play live weird games. Oh, so high up.
Starting point is 00:09:22 That's last. A koala has just woken up from a 57-hour nap, and they're a bit confused and disorientated. Bloody hell, I've got chlamydia. And I'm bloody tired. I'm bloody hell. I'm bloody tired. I'm bloody got chlamydia.
Starting point is 00:09:52 I'm me Steve Irwin. Me too. You know? We all do. Oh, if I just want the bloody calendar, can I sign up for a month? something then fuck off. Yeah, you can. Oh, that's fucking top, mate.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Thanks. You're welcome, Blinky. I've got comedia. You've said it three times now. Yeah. It's the only fact I know. Yeah. But they all do.
Starting point is 00:10:15 People can't hold me without a license. Pisted my shots. This is a crazy person and time for them to send a question. Oh, they're busy. But a Texan cowboy who's halfway through a full body wax is then one through. Ah! Oh, howdy, pardon?
Starting point is 00:10:42 Wow! Does every 27-ta calendar include an entry to win the golden ticket? Bha! You fly them from anywhere both to Australia? Barbecue. Yeah, it does include an entry for the golden ticket. So you're a chance of winning.
Starting point is 00:11:06 And wherever you are in Australia, like the cowboy getting waxed-assed, asked, not waxed-asked, Well, both, actually. Maybe he's getting his ass racks. Yeah. Whoever you are in the world, we're going to fly to Melbourne, Australia, spend a week with us. You get to explore all of Melbourne, gets come into the studio, be part of an episode.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Yeah. It's going to be off. Yeha! Yeah. Maybe you're from Dallas. You can get on that direct flight. That is good. Bloody Qantas.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Oh, this is crazy. Oh, is it? A flamboyant magician who is mid-juggling trick as a question. It's a visual. Sorry. Apricadabra. I don't know. Can I imagine that the magician is French?
Starting point is 00:11:56 Like a mime? But obviously, that would not be talking about. Is this including flight? No, that's Swedish. They're Swedish. Is this including flights accommodation? You'll pick us up from the airport. You're sitting on the episode record and hanging out in the top tower.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Apricadabra al-Qa-a-a-zam. Sorry, magician for answering that in the last one. But yes. Yes. Oh, sorry. I wasn't listening. Yeah, I was busy juggling. I was very busy juggling. It takes up a lot of my brain cells.
Starting point is 00:12:24 I don't know what that accent is. And it's offensive to like 80 people, I mean. 80. And magicians all around. Oh, well, they didn't want me to go into the magician part. How many more questions here? Just one. Great, because final question has come through from Michael Kane.
Starting point is 00:12:41 But he's a bit distracted because he's cooking a barbecue. Oh, I am Michael Cain. And I'm at the bunker. Is that right? Yeah. Do you reckon? I didn't kill a bloody king. If I don't sign up before November 1,
Starting point is 00:12:58 oh, my sausages are fucking burning. If I don't sign up before November 1, can I join and buy it later? No, Michael Kane. Are you fucking joking me? No, I'm not fucking joking. You guys sounded like Cheryl and Barnes. I don't think that sounded like Michael Kane.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Sorry. Michael. No, you can't buy it later. You need to join Patreon. No, because I'm not, I'm not a bloody champion Tapper at the moment. I'll just add it to McCart at the merch website later. So true. No, you say no. No. No, that's not possible. Are you fucking possible? No. You can't buy it later. What'd you call me? You can't buy it later. You cannot buy it later. Oh, me bloody sausages are fucked. Patreon.com
Starting point is 00:13:50 slash Tony and Ryan become a champion tarpa by November 1 and the calendar is yours guaranteed. You don't win that. That is yours it's getting sent to you and you do get a chance to win the golden ticket. November 1 is the deadline and like Michael Kane just found out
Starting point is 00:14:06 you can't buy it later. We only print the amount for the champion tarpers who are signed up. Sorry Michael. Sorry Michael. Sorry to the Texan sorry to the koalas. Sorry to the Scottish grandma and the chef from the bear. Oh, bloody hell.
Starting point is 00:14:19 Still got Clement. Hi, I'm Rose from mine to see the UK. Hi, I'm Madeline from Newcastle, Australia. Hi, this is Zach and Fleetwood from Blacksburg, Virginia, and you're listening to Tony and Ryan. A massive shout-out to a few of our champion tarpers over at our Patreon, and I do believe that if these people are still championed tarpers, even though they signed up eight years ago,
Starting point is 00:14:49 that's where I'm up to do with the names. you'll be getting our 2020, 27th, Tony and Ryan Calendar. And a chance to win the golden ticket and a trip to Australia. Sign me up. Yeah. I'd love to come to Australia.
Starting point is 00:15:02 If you're not sure if you want to come to Australia, watch anyone but you. You will want to come to Australia if you watch a movie. That movie made me want to move to Australia and I already live yet. Charlotte Proudfoot, got in your Charlotte. Jacob, good on your Jacob. Little Woot.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Little Woot. Little Woot. Jesse la Cookey. Jesse la Cookey. Madison Lee. Slash ham. Oh, do you know what?
Starting point is 00:15:24 The daylight savings makes the days smell like Christmas. It does. Which I absolutely love. And it's making me horny for a fucking ham. Guess what we did on the weekend? What was you? We got olives.
Starting point is 00:15:36 Fuck off. A bunch of different cheeses. Little picky dinner. No, this was a lunch. But then we got mustard, like a sliced, like a cheese you would put in a sandwich. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Like a smoky cheddar. I'm familiar. Some good bread. And then we, we got a big chunk of ham that we could like cut some thick slice and we sat out of the back and had sandwiches. Nice. There is nothing better than like a thicky ham sandwich.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Thicky ham. Thicky cheese. Thicky mustard. Thicky sourdough sitting outside. Fuck yeah. Touch me on the fucking thick ham. That's nice. That's nice.
Starting point is 00:16:08 Well, lush ham. Thank you very much. Amy Lotzier. Good on your Amy. Marissa hashtag go bills and Sazzy G. Thank you very much for being part of it. We absolutely love to say it. Go bills.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Go bills. And you know where they're from? The town of? Mulholland Drive. Buffalo. Buffalo. Yep. Buffalo Bills.
Starting point is 00:16:28 Yeah. Like the murderer. Or like the football team. Oh, Buffalo Bill. Isn't he the murderer in, he puts the leash on the skin? You're thinking of Hannibal Lecter. Yeah, but isn't he called Buffalo Bill? Can we Google that?
Starting point is 00:16:44 Are you thinking of Blinky Bill? He's not comedian. Oh, that was Michael Cain. Michael Cain does not have Chlamydia Buffalo Bill is the serial killer from that movie Thank you from Salons of the Lambs
Starting point is 00:16:57 Well there you go Thanks everyone Well done That's good trivia Yeah I think I want to go to trivia Should we do that? We should
Starting point is 00:17:05 You want to go to trivia I think they do it at the keys Yeah Yeah Fuck we get a llama Last time I tried To book something with you at the Keys We need to go bowling
Starting point is 00:17:15 No we've talked about going bowling so many times Well, I message them at the keys and said, can we join a team? They said, nah, we literally locked all the teams in last week. And I was like, let us join. Why don't we start our own? Why don't we just start our own league? We could at what we just go bowling once a week.
Starting point is 00:17:31 Yeah. I mean, that's in play. Yeah. I would actually love that. What's the definition of a league? We're a league of our own. And that's what they were talking about in that movie. So true.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Lots of movie chat today. Lots of movie chat today. Oh, do you want to know something really embarrassing? Always. Literally always. Before you got in. Yep, to work. Myself, Lily and Danielle and Charles all had a conversation.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Four-way kiss. No. A conversation for about five minutes about some logistic stuff. Okay. Danielle was part of this chat and contributed to it. She asked questions. Charles answered. It was great.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Danielle then goes downstairs to grab something, comes back up and child goes, good morning. Like, unironically. And I was like, Charles, we all just had a conversation for five minutes. And he goes, fuck, we did too. Charles, you're not in the mental state to be going bowling. You are going to be terrible on my team at Trivier. You don't even know who you've seen today.
Starting point is 00:18:32 Well, let's not go today. Okay. If you can't remember who you haven't spoken to, there's no way I'm letting you put three fingers in a ball. And he's always said that. Yeah, that's my rule. In my defense, Danny did walk up like during the conversation. She wasn't there at the start of the conversation.
Starting point is 00:18:47 What was the logistics chart? Care to share? Yeah, I'll share. So a part of the calendars that we're making, we're going to be dressed up as... Which you can get if you're a German Dumbled. Mudge and Homer Simpson. Yes.
Starting point is 00:18:59 They're an iconic couple and there's going to be a lot of body paint and a lot of crazy pearls and a lot of blue hair and a lot of makeup. Ryan's giving me a pearl necklace. Yeah. And I want to make... I don't know if I've told you this. I want to recreate where Homer, like, disappears back into the hedge. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:19:15 Amazing. Yeah. And so the logistics was like, how do we do that? And I was like, do we get like a big green like duna or blanket? And like people hold it up and then I kind of just like lean back into it. Like how do we do that in real life? Well, these two tall plants, you just walk between them and we kind of like cross them over. So much easier because I was about to order a duna off Amazon.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Why would you get a duna? Like a green duna. To look like a plant. Well, I didn't think you could actually walk through a hedge, but you probably could Because if we just had them beside you and then you kind of lent back and we crossed them over your face. Yeah, that's easy. Why weren't you in the chat? Oh, well, I was and everyone forgot that I was here.
Starting point is 00:19:58 Morning. Morning time. Morning time. How's everyone going? See, this is why we should never have planning sessions without the brains of the operation, without the muscles of this show, without the bird in charge. Without the throat goat, doctor throat. Yeah, we can pop, take these.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Yeah, that's easy, right? Yeah, yeah. Because we're going to have the van. Like, we'll have the van. Who's a van? Amanda Vanstone. Fuck you're awkward. Tick.
Starting point is 00:20:29 Okay, next problem. Next problem. Christina has messaged through. Hello, Christina. Hardly not. And she says, and when someone starts a comment with boy oh boy. Oh, okay. We're in trouble.
Starting point is 00:20:44 What do we do wrong? Boy oh boy. have I got some medical comedy for you guys? Love it. If you're new to Tony and Ryan, medical comedy is when you're feeling a little bit awkward and vulnerable at the doctor or the nurse or whatever and you try to make a joke to like break the eyes. And because they are in the medical field, they're not awkward and they have heard it all
Starting point is 00:21:05 before and they give you nothing. They don't laugh and then therefore you become a victim of medical comedy. Yeah. It's a phenomenon which I coined. into the term as the official research scientist of this. And it turns out it's happening all around the world. It's plaguing tarpers everywhere. I nearly went for it again.
Starting point is 00:21:24 You know how I dropped off that stool sample yesterday? Yes. Yeah. I sent a photo to Tony. Of the stool sample. I'm going to have a look into it. I didn't say this, but I thought about it. And I was like, oh, fuck, that would have killed.
Starting point is 00:21:37 But then obviously it wouldn't. Yeah. So the stool sample's in the little jar, but then the jars in like the little bag. Yes. and then I walked in and you've made this joke before it kills every time but they hate it
Starting point is 00:21:51 I love it well yeah she's like where I was like it's in the bag and she goes like the jars in there and I was like jar I think last time though you implied that you have the shit in your hand
Starting point is 00:22:04 like because they said yeah just put the jar there and you went jar no that was for my sperm sample that's right I implied that I had red cheese sperm I mean it all It's the same place, isn't it? All ends up.
Starting point is 00:22:17 Where do you want the sample? Yeah. Put the jar over there. Who's a jar? Christina. My husband cut the tip of his thumb off while cooking me dinner last night. We took him to urgent care. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:33 We're about to learn everything there is to know about Christina's husband with this next sentence. Oh. And we're going to love it. Okay. Amazing. Because people cope with pain and emergencies and stress in different ways. Totally. This is why the medical comedy is important though, I think.
Starting point is 00:22:48 He decided the best way to cope with the pain was to be hilarious. Sounds like my kind of guy. Actually, I was like, I love this guy. That's a bit of me. While the medical team was working to stop the bleeding and asking what happened, he said, and I quote, You've heard of fingling potatoes? Well, wait to hear about my finger in basil pasta.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I mean, it's a think. because if you don't know what a fingering potato is, which Charles doesn't because he just did a face. Yeah. Like, you know, Charles, if you Google it, they're little. And not a single doctor nor a single nurse even gave a smile. Nah, you've got to give more than that.
Starting point is 00:23:33 This is a call out officially to all doctors and nurses. Yep. Give us a fucking bone. Yeah. Literally. Throw a dog of fucking bone. Like, we're feeling nervous. We're feeling embarrassed.
Starting point is 00:23:43 Like, give us a giggle. Give us something. Give it raise an eyebrow. If I go to an, and this, I haven't for fucking 10 years, but when I was into comedy and would go to like an open mic. I know you're not into comedy, man. You don't tell me twice. Oh, fuck.
Starting point is 00:24:01 What's the diagnosis, doctor? Oh, savageness. Oh, brutality's on the. I'm sorry, I need to see someone about a burn. Oh, see, even you're so much better than mine. I hate it here. What's the diagnosis? Brutality.
Starting point is 00:24:18 Where's the Burns unit? That's good stuff. That's good stuff. See, that's why I'm a doctor. I am the doctor of medical comedy. What I was gonna say was when I used to go to comedy shows like open mic nights and stuff, I would always just be like really generous with my laughing because I know that like young comics are getting up for the first time
Starting point is 00:24:38 and you just need to get that first laugh. You have to be a generous laugh. Yeah. Yeah. But that is why people should never like test gear on me because I am a generous lover. She means comedic gear, not like cocaine. Oh yeah, drugs. Don't give me drugs.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Do you test your gear on me? I'm not interested in that, but your jokes, I'll give a fucking hoof. Christina said, I don't know which was worse. Like my husband's joke or them not laughing at it. And then said it was a hate crime from both sides. And are they just busy? And they're like, what? And you're like, nothing.
Starting point is 00:25:14 Don't worry about it. Like, sorry, nah, ignore me. Yeah. And I think they got to the stage where they had to like, But they try to save it and reattach it and they got to the stage where they're like. The joke? No, the thumb. Oh, sorry, I forgot we were actually in a medical situation.
Starting point is 00:25:34 And, um, oh, so it's how much of the thumb we're talking like, below the nail? Are he thumbless? He, well, it's at the beginning. It's a tip of the thumb and now what he's got one hand. We just got a little nub on the end there. No, but the tip of the thumb's got to be this, not the whole top knuckle. Wasn't that the, the, Top?
Starting point is 00:25:50 No, but the tip, I would say is, is like that, just the very tip. I'd say from that bone. No, that's a full knuckle. That's, I don't think that's it. Christina, can you please let us know how much of the thumb it was? Tell me when to stop. When they finally. Put the time, put, Christina, put the time code in the YouTube comments of where I get to.
Starting point is 00:26:12 And that's where the thumb is. Okay, ready? Close up on this. Ready? Let us know at what point it was. That is a great way to measure. Thank you. I'm feeling creative.
Starting point is 00:26:28 Yeah, we can tell. I'm for it. But I think because he was like being a bit chirpy. Yeah. One of the doctors was like, oh, we've tried everything. We're just going to lop it off now. And one of the other nurses goes, finally. Like, shut this.
Starting point is 00:26:44 I'm just fucking. Oh my God. That is so awful. Yeah. Because you don't want to take up space, but you just get, it's just nervous chat. I just on a farm. It's just, oh, yeah. I just put my thumb.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Which finger do you reckon is the least valuable? Pinky on the left. This one. Yep. Oh, but then you can't do the shocker anymore. Yeah, I'm not on your left hand. Oh, it's so true. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:10 I can't even... So mine would look like that, like that. Yeah. I feel like is your thumb important? Oh, yeah, because you grab stuff. Yeah, that would be... Nass-like. No, I'm just working it out.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Maybe. I know, where would you put that awesome engagement ring? Well, yeah, like, but if it was on your right hand, but I'm right-handed, so that wouldn't be good. Yeah, no, I wouldn't want to lose any of them, but, obviously, it goes out saying, but... I said something the other night and Bridget was dumbfounded by it. And... What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Um, I was like, if I lost a leg, I think I'd be fine with it. I don't know. Because I think we're watching a show and it was sort of like, he didn't die. Like it was a car accident or something. Yeah. Something horrific. Yeah. And I was like, oh, like if the alternate was dying, like fucking have a leg.
Starting point is 00:28:05 I think if you're in a situation where you're like, oh, that we saved his life. But unfortunately he lost a leg. Well, yeah. But they were. And I don't know how active this person was or what they? But I was like, dude, I don't fucking move that much. You know what I mean? Like I reckon I would be all right with it.
Starting point is 00:28:19 I think like. She's like, what a big insane? I was like, yeah, but you know. Yeah. I mean, like anything, you just get used to your new normal, don't you? And now, like, with prosthetics and things like that. Like, if you could go down that path, that was, like, viable option for you. Like, people live fucking hellful lives.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Although I'd have to, the biggest lifestyle change would be I'd have to use my other leg to do horsey rides. Yeah. You'd be, just that I have the one. Yeah. Which I think's okay. But I don't mind just the other leg. Me neither. I've got to hear you love to stay.
Starting point is 00:28:58 Can we? All right. Who wants to see me give Tony a horsey ride? I'll jump on. Oh, you do both legs up. Yeah, you sit on here. Oh, on there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:11 Oh, you're not going to be able to live here on your foot. Yeah. And then I go, that's going to go ride on me for Jules. Right away across the venericoster. See you. Fun lady. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Oh, wow. I'm a quick lover. I think my foot is pregnant. Mine too. When I broke my foot, you know, that wasn't great. No. Very different, obviously, but... Happy anniversary to your rod.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Thank you. Yeah, it's coming up on a year. Yeah. Can you still feel the rod in there? You know what? It's sore today. I just goes through kind of phases. Is it because it's a bit cold this morning?
Starting point is 00:29:47 Maybe. And also, are we talking about the fact that it got real cold straight after you declared you are not wearing pants for the rest of the year? Yeah, I did wear jeans yesterday. Oh. Oh. Not on the pod. Obviously, it was the weekend.
Starting point is 00:29:59 And I'm not the way. Yeah, I did wear James. Oh, it's only for the pod. Nah, well, it wasn't supposed to be. But then it fucking hoofed down, didn't it? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:11 Well, as soon as you said, I'm like, you're an idiot. You've fucking jinxed the rest of the rest. Yeah, no, so true. Have you worn pants yet, Charles? No, not since you said it. Yeah. I can't wait for it to rain heaps.
Starting point is 00:30:20 It's got a rain heaps because I bought a new rain jacket and I can't wait to wear it. Oh, yeah. Yucky. No, good. Yeah. I hope it rains. Yeah. Yeah, nothing to say.
Starting point is 00:30:30 I've got to you off to see it here. From Molly Highland. Good on you, Molly. Good on your Molle. I was supposed to be called Molly. Where are? Yeah. We've talked about this before.
Starting point is 00:30:41 Yeah. Because of your blind, Nana. Yeah, grandma. Yeah. Bless her. All right. I have to start the fucking blog. But why is she blind?
Starting point is 00:30:50 Yeah. And I know that I've talked about this before, but my mum never believed. So it's my mom's mom. My mom never believed her. And so she'd be like To see if she would flinch and stuff Because she's like yeah And then so if she was like skipping school
Starting point is 00:31:05 She was like because she grew up in Melbourne So she's like yeah So I would just like tell my mom I was going to school but then I'd get on the train We'd go to the city and smoke cigarettes at Flinders And then get on the train and go home And I was like oh well how good Because your mum was blind
Starting point is 00:31:19 You didn't even have to like wear uniform out the house And then get changed or whatever And she was like no we did Because we just we never trusted her It's so funny to me. But as soon as your mum reveals that she can see, then it's over. Well, yeah. So she's going to save it up for that one, bun, busting you wagging one time.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Yeah. Yeah. So, I don't know, but she was blind and a beautiful, beautiful woman. Okay. Molly Highland, good on you, Molly. I'll start the fucking blog on behalf of my mom. Did you tell her she was beautiful? I never met it.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But like, because she wouldn't know. Oh, yeah, I guess so. Molly, you're stunning. She goes out and you go, yeah. Do you know, she used to go to the hairdresser up once. week and they would wash her hair and put it in a French pin, like a French roll at the back. And she would have that all week.
Starting point is 00:32:04 Really? Yeah, she would sleep on a silk pillow case so that her hair didn't like fall out of the updo. And she'd have that all week. Then she'd go back to the hairdresser like on a Saturday morning. They'd wash her hair, put it back in the thing. And Tony claims she's not from wealth. Isn't that so? Generational.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Yeah, the silk pillow case has been handed down generation to generation. That's silk pillows now on the good side. a reservoir so. Molly says my mom's always had gift giving us her love language. Like for our birthday, she'd take us shopping and she would just love to spoil us and stuff. And she's decided to start a small business. It's called styled and boxed gifting on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:32:41 And she's making like pre-made gift boxes for like, say someone in your life has just given birth or just gotten a promotion or it's a birthday. She's kind of like for her gift boxes. That's cute. Things like that. Isn't that so sweet? And Molly says She works extremely hard at her day job
Starting point is 00:32:59 She runs an emergency department Oh, you know, whatever And I would love to see her second passion Thrive as much as the first These are the little gift boxes So she makes it Like there's one there for like Yeah, someone that's just had a baby
Starting point is 00:33:12 Little crocheted like rattles Some snacks for mum and dad Bump and Beyond belly mask Like just really sweet Oh welcome 10 And there's a welcome 10% off your first one Well, we would have guessed that anyway. Yeah, we would have put that in anyway, Molly's mum.
Starting point is 00:33:27 Charles, you locked in as me. I'm logged in as me. Well, can you follow her, please? Yeah, Charles, you follow her. There you go. She'd be so lucky. Yeah. But yeah, I thought that was really sweet.
Starting point is 00:33:36 That is sweet. Well done. Good on you for starting the fucking blog, Molly's mom. Yeah. Mrs. Highland. Mrs. Highland. I assume. Liana Bruja Harderland.
Starting point is 00:33:44 Oh, Leibatur, Cabron. Yeah, Leana Brew Hedelletti. Oh. She makes nails. Well, she used to work in animal rescue. you sent her dream job but she'd like you Tony got long COVID which meant like the physicality of it like being on her feet all that like it was just like a bit much. Luckily for me mom was just the smell.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Yeah but that's why she started doing the other stuff because she couldn't do her original job anymore. Yeah. I didn't realize that. I just thought that she did the like painted fake nails for fun. Yeah, press on now. So that became a little small business because she needed to make some cash because she couldn't do the other thing.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Oh shit. So she's loving the new business. She missed hanging out with the animals because obviously that's why people would get into that. Yeah. So she started fostering and her first foster kitten Ella, um, I went to her forever home a couple of weeks ago because she was just taking care of it. And how-
Starting point is 00:34:40 It'd be so hard to say goodbye, eh? Yeah. Yeah, I know. Or my, when I was in that first time, now I'm happy to get rid of me. Yeah. He just keeps farting. Yeah, no, it doesn't pay rent and stuff. Um,
Starting point is 00:34:51 helping her get ready for her, people made me so happy. Now I have two new kittens. So rewarding to combine my two passions. Love you guys. Still listen to every episode the second it drops. Love you, Leana. Lihana, Brouha, Hardle and Liletti.
Starting point is 00:35:08 You're a fucking gem. Yeah, you love to see that. Yep. And I actually have a bonus. You love to see it for Tony Lodge. Okay. And it's vindication. Have you seen J.B.
Starting point is 00:35:17 Hi-Fi in the news? Oh, hi-fi. Yeah. As everyone DM that too? Yes. And it's just the team up of the century for me because it's obviously J.B. Highfire, which is tough for me. But the A-T-C, obviously, they've gotten involved as well.
Starting point is 00:35:31 So, you know, it's hard to see two things you love so much going head-to-head. But for me, everyone's a winner. Yeah. So basically they were selling, like up-selling this warranty. And as Tony has been right on the case, you don't need to pay extra because there's a built-in product warranty. The A-T-R-C in Australia covers you, like all that basic warranty. So when they go, did you want to up?
Starting point is 00:35:54 I'd warranty on, it's, it's already your human right as an Australian to warranty. Sorry, I fucking. So now there's a, now there's a crackdown and everyone's getting their things paid back.
Starting point is 00:36:06 And Jabby Hyper up for like a few bills. Yeah. Yeah. To pay back. And I hope you feel vindicated because you are on this train. You were out there first. You were calling them out. I don't want to say,
Starting point is 00:36:16 but I think that I blew this wide open. So wide open. It would still be sealed shut without you. I'm like a whistleblower. Yeah. Yeah. I'm like a hot, strong woman that blew this wide open. I feel like Aaron Brockovich.
Starting point is 00:36:33 I do. I think they're actually, oh, hang on. Hello, Ryan's speaking. They're remaking the movie and they want me to play Julia Roberts. It's Hollywood. I've never been. They're making a sequel to Aaron Brockovich. You're joking.
Starting point is 00:36:50 But instead of the water in Hinkley, they want to talk about the warranties at J.B. Hi-Fi. Do they want me to play Julia Roberts? No, like, you're the person. Julia Roberts is playing me. Big mistake. Huge. Yep, sending over the paperwork. Yeah. I'm interested.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Get the wig. We've got a Julia Roberts wig. Please. Now, are you telling me you can rememmerize every single person's name and phone number that got a J.B. Hi-Fi warranty between now and 2012? Wow, yes, I can. She's southern enough. I haven't seen it. Yeah, it's in, well, California.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Oh, yes I am. And I will see that on the stand. But no, it's based on me. Yeah. So, I've got chlamydia. Love you. See, see tomorrow, bye. Watch the Tony Lodge story, now on Amazon.
Starting point is 00:38:05 If Tony Lodge had a version of Aaron Brockovich, you know what it would be called? What? Tony Lodge. Tea. Yeah. Charles. You got, I'm so sorry. If you've already left, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:38:18 You don't have to come back. But I just, it. The hair looks good. It's me. Oh, shit. It was me the whole time. It was, I'm so sorry to deceive you. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:29 It wigged you out. Yeah. What were you doing? What were you doing? Oh. Acting. Playing the role of Tony Lodge. So I was playing,
Starting point is 00:38:39 Tony Lodge, playing Julia Roberts, playing Tony Lodge. And somehow didn't nail it. Love you, boo! Bye.
