Starting point is 00:00:00 Places you can get pregnant. Bath tubs in Glee. Rented wetsuits. Rented wetsuits at Urban Surf. Yeah, public toilet at the Westfield. And phone parties. Oh, definitely. Hi, I'm Shay.
Starting point is 00:00:12 Hi, I'm Everick. We're from Bluff, New Zealand. Hi, I'm Chanel from Brisbane, Australia. I'm Darren, a Canadian living in Davao Philippines. And we approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. Hello! And we've got some confessions coming up,
Starting point is 00:00:43 but the reason people tune in on a Tuesday is... Oh, just the tip... Tech Tips. Tech Tips Tuesday by Tony Titty Todge. Tony Titty Todge. Yeah. I like that.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Aren't tech tips just going off? Oh, they love them sick on internet. Yeah. I've seen them. Yeah. I've seen people like them. I look forward to Tuesday now. I go, fuck, what am I going to look to?
Starting point is 00:01:18 learned today from Tony Tech Tip Toge. Well, this one is actually something that I've learned from you over the years. Is it lightroom and how it can improve images and colors? Contrast up. Shadows down. Vinegarette. Yes. Ad to cut. Saturation. Too much. Saturation. Yes. For you, it's just a yes, no kind of thing. No, this is a tip that you have taught me over the years. I've never taken it on.
Starting point is 00:01:46 but as we have learned recently that everything is made up. Yeah. So, steal this tip. You actually can just pay for your parking at the little machine when you're driving out and it doesn't fucking matter. Oh, finally. Vindication! Oh no, we have to go to the pain now. Fucking centre at the fucking thing.
Starting point is 00:02:06 No, you fucking don't. You drive up to the thing, you tap your phone and you drive the fuck home. And it doesn't fucking matter. It doesn't matter. Yeah, hit Charles. Yes. Yes. every type of on the pod got tech tips
Starting point is 00:02:18 Everybody in the park got tech tips You've been tech tipped Yeah I have Welcome to my world sweetheart Think of all the time you spent Walking to the fucking booth It's your last chance No it's not
Starting point is 00:02:31 There's a thing on the fucking door I know I've rejected this and I've gone Against the grain And I'm like no It's more polite to do it at the thing But it actually doesn't matter No
Starting point is 00:02:41 It really doesn't It really doesn't I've gone through two paid parking thing in the last two days, like I've gone to two separate ones, paid both at the little dinky donk at the end. And when you do it the first time, you just go, oh, well, the first time I did it. Why have we been doing it this whole, like, it's so easy. First time I did it.
Starting point is 00:02:57 I was like, like a naughty little girl. I think it's on them because when they say like, here's the pay station, last chance to pay. No, it's not. Yeah, it's, it isn't. Yeah. And I just have to say it actually doesn't matter and everything really is made up. Because you can just do it at the little thing.
Starting point is 00:03:15 That's really fine. Yeah. Yeah. Remember that time when we were at South Yarra before golden ticket Tipper Jesse. Before Jesse arrived, yes. We went to set up his hotel and then that Tapa stole our car park. Yeah, she drove in. And then you mouthed off at her in the elevator.
Starting point is 00:03:31 And then she walked into the elevator and you went, oh, hi. Oh, my stancy. So when we left, I just said to the guy, I don't think the machine's working. He went, okay, just let us out. Oh, that's crazy. Yeah. I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't fare evade.
Starting point is 00:03:47 I just said I don't think the machines working. He went, yeah, whatever. I'll just open the gate. I mean, they don't make enough money, don't they? Oh, for parking? But don't do anything. Paying for parking is absolute rot. Oh, anyway, it doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:04:01 But you can just don't get the bing bong and it's fine. Yeah. This is personal growth. It actually is because I really have rejected this for so long. I don't know. But I was just like, you know what? This is a great tip for. you that I should have taken on long ago.
Starting point is 00:04:16 What's another piece of advice I've given you that you've gone, oh, geez, that Ryan really makes my life better. Charles, what are you laughing at, Charles? Probably anything can be a business expense. That's a good one. I'll take it that one as well. Yeah, Charles learned that one as well. If the ATOs are, I know fucking Charles knows that.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Oh, you fucking ease up. You know it too. What's that? Here a tough confession. Okay. Interesting. Confessions. Business expenses.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Tarpers, Tony and Ryan podcast, are sent through their anonymous confessions to tony and Ryan.com. com. And we really, really appreciate you sharing your confessions because some are great and some are not, but we're all here to enjoy together. Not like great content. Some of them are like harrowing is the not.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Yeah. Yeah. Oh, like. Yeah. Not like, oh, some are great, some are fine. It's like some are good confessions. Not good that you had to experience that. Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:18 Yeah. Yeah, that's... No, thanks for clarifying because I'm hearing it. Some are great and some are not. Oh, this one is great for the person and great for us. Oh, okay. Before I tell you this, should I put a towel down? Are you sure you don't want to wear pants?
Starting point is 00:05:31 I am wearing pants, they're just short. I'm wearing actually a onesie. Do you feel vulnerable? Kind of. I'm wearing overalls. Actually, if you're wearing this, this story couldn't happen to you. Okay. I took off my top and pants separately.
Starting point is 00:05:46 I went to the toilet easily Yeah No one thought I was a toddler today I got fingered on a train By a stranger while traveling in a foreign country Okay I've been on a train In a foreign country
Starting point is 00:06:06 Yeah You have caught the train in Italy Is you're fingered? No Why not? I was bringing once he I actually think I was doing this Oh my God
Starting point is 00:06:16 I had the most intense orgasal of my life on a train with a stranger who didn't speak English. But the French I learned in high school, some charades and Google translate meant we were able to make it work. Sorry, for those playing along at home, Tony has done the international sign for want to get fingered and a thumbs up. And they obviously went, Consent is important.
Starting point is 00:06:39 They both went, yeah, thumbs up. Wee wee wee. Wee wee. Yeah, she did a wee wee. Nah, she squirted it though. It's not the same thing. we stopped when anyone walked past us in the aisle because they were sitting next to each other
Starting point is 00:06:51 like two seats next to each other but then as soon as they walked past we giggled like loved up teens and got straight back to it I mean you don't need to speak the same language of love isn't it? Well fingering is an international language of love so true
Starting point is 00:07:04 I've been fingered on every continent that's not true I haven't been to all of them which ones let's run through them do you know I don't know what a continent is well I was going to list of and you say yes or no. Oh, okay, Slate.
Starting point is 00:07:19 Slay, yeah, I can do that. The biggest issue... I thought I needed to know both. The biggest issue with us describing which continents Tony's been fingered in is that she doesn't know what a continent is. What a great problem to us. Australia. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Sea. Asia. Yep. Tokyo twice. Yeah. Well, I've been... Once for each finger. More...
Starting point is 00:07:43 Vietnam. Yeah. Yeah. Jakarta when I was with you. Oh yeah, you fingered me there. Right above that cemetery. Hmm. May they rest in peace.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Europe? Yeah. As of this trip. Yeah. Well, I've been to Europe before. Yeah. Well, with your mum in high school. That was a joke.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Yeah. The USA. Yes. Lovely. Because Hawaii. Hawaii. Yeah. Just.
Starting point is 00:08:21 Yeah. I was like, Charles, no, that was in Canada. North America. South America. No, haven't been. And Antarctica. Haven't been. Five out of seven.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Pretty good. Could you get fingered in Antarctica? What if he got stuck up there? Yeah, you might get frost. Run the hair dryer over after. Frost bite, yeah. Or maybe it's good for the fingers, warm up. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:08:42 I'm really serious. Oh, I'm so cold. I forgot one glove. You don't mind, do you? The one finger of the glove. It's really, the visual that's really fucking grim. Yeah, it is. But it would be a good spot to put it, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:09:02 Like, say if you were doing like a... Tony, I'm about to freeze to death. Yeah. The only way of surviving. Is fingering you. You're like, oh, it's a matter of life or death. Yeah. At the end of the trip, he helped me with my suitcase.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Oh, that's nice. We made out one last time in the platform and we never saw each other ever again. That's hot. That's real hot. That's hot. That's hot. That is a great story. You should put your name to that though because you should be proud of that.
Starting point is 00:09:34 That's a cool story. I had an idea. What? I know. We should do a post in the Tony and Ryan Facebook group. Okay. And it's like, don't out yourself for what you did, but like leave an emoji. if you've had a confession read out on the show.
Starting point is 00:09:54 That's good. So we won't know. We've read hundreds over the journey. Yeah. And we won't know which is which and we don't pin it on you. But we'll not like. Because we genuinely don't know. Yeah, we don't know either.
Starting point is 00:10:04 But like, oh, it would just drive me mad because I'd be like looking at their profile pick being like, was that the hem? Are you the train finger? You know what I mean? Have you one of the hundreds of people who got something stuck in their asshole? Yeah. And I have to pretend, oh, I fell on the gardening house. Imagine if Charles left an emoji.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Like, because you've listened to the pods since it began, imagine if you had it, have you ever had a confession right now? Have you ever sent one? No. I guess anything weird that you would have done, Charles, I would just say. Yeah. Like, I wouldn't let you do it anonymously because I'd be like, guess what Charles did? It's just more fun that way.
Starting point is 00:10:39 I have one more top confession. Amazing. I love that. I hope now that you made. Oh. Oh. My dad had a heart attack, and when I went to visit him, I accidentally slept with a stranger in the hospital. It's an emotional time.
Starting point is 00:10:59 It really is. You know, like I, I actually, I get it. I booty called someone at my mom's funeral. Yeah. Yeah. They said no. They said, unfortunately. They did say no.
Starting point is 00:11:09 Yeah. That's something on. Apparently. He did say he was busy. Like, he has confirmed since that he was in fact, busy. Well, he said he can't remember what he was doing, but that he wouldn't have said no to that for nothing, which I appreciated. Yeah. That is nice.
Starting point is 00:11:27 And it's also like Charles is like that is what you would say, eh? Oh, no, like, no, like, no. Do you reckon? No. Do you reckon he likes you? Ian likes you. Oh, one other thing. Sorry I said no after the funeral.
Starting point is 00:11:42 I must have been pretty busy that night. But if I had come round, you wouldn't have had a cool story. he just would have had a great route. What all sweetheart. I love it. I'm now married, but that's okay. Yeah. He's been inside you.
Starting point is 00:11:56 That's fine. We can talk about. We're all adults. He has, yeah. We're not that day. He's been... A separate time. He's been on a train in Europe.
Starting point is 00:12:04 You know what I'm saying? Hasn't he? Yeah. But as the strange, just plays he fingered you. Oh, we actually... We actually had sex. We might have to beat this out.
Starting point is 00:12:19 I'm going to tell you, but we might beep it out. At the Raleighstone Country Club on the lawn bowl's green. No, that can stay in. Oh, okay. Yeah. Great. Thanks for the approval. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:34 And I would like in today's episode thread, someone to go to the Lawn Boles Club in Raleighstone and just take a selfie of themselves outside the club. Yeah, a bit of a thumbs up. That old bloke with the moustache wasn't the only one mowing a lawn on that. I can't believe it's still there. I mean, it's at the country club, so it makes sense. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:56 Maybe we can go there before the live show. What's he not up to? I'm married Charles. We have this. Charles isn't? He's a great guy. My dad had a heart attack, and when I went to visit him, I accidentally slept with a stranger in a hospital bed.
Starting point is 00:13:13 It's an emotional time. Yes, that's where we were up to. Yep. After a long shift at my work, I went to see Dad. he was asleep lights were low CPAP mask covering his face he would have been exhausted from the surgery and I was kind of glad to see him resting up absolutely I curled up next to him so the tapper was in the seat and kind of like grabbed his arm yep um and fell asleep as well turns out I was in the wrong
Starting point is 00:13:40 room well right room wrong floor so this guy wakes up and this lady is asleep in the chair next to him just hugging his arm. And she's like, he's like, you're my fucking wife? He goes, who are you? And the topic goes, who the fuck are you? Actually, that's quite a frightening situation. Then I walked out of the room and looked up at the number on the door. Oh, yeah, wrong floor.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Yeah, room 23, but yeah, one down. All good. Sorry, bud. My bad. So I walked downstairs into Dad's room and he's like, oh, so guess who rocked up? you're like well I've actually been here for many hours yeah I've been here for 90 minutes downstairs curling up on who I thought was you but it was just some random guy on the floor above slept with yeah not slept with yeah it's an emotional time I thought you meant
Starting point is 00:14:37 slept with like fucked Tony Lodge like get your head out of the gutter sorry we mentioned a in one time and all you can think about is fucking getting railed on lawn bowls greens that's where you're at. Comment below if you also thought that he meant fucking. Later that year, my husband, this is from the same person that, oh, um, slept with the stranger. Yeah. Slept weird.
Starting point is 00:15:07 Like, not, uh, yeah. Well, got to check. Later that year, my husband and I announced to the family that I was pregnant. Oh. Instead of congratulating me, the whole family started laughing and was like, oh, is your husband the father or was that, You slept within the hospital. That's funny.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Different sleeping, though. Different sleeping, yeah, was not penetrative sex. Hi, I'm Chanel from Brisbane, Australia. Hi, I'm Darren from Davao Philippines. Hi, I'm Shay. Hi, I'm Eric. We're from Bluff, New Zealand. And you're listening to Tony and Ryan.
Starting point is 00:15:52 A massive shout out to a few of our champion times. This is the third time that I've had to start this because it's been an absolute schmise. Alicia Noel Bray. Noel, like Bridget's middle name. Noel. Noel. Noel. Noelle.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Travis Morrell. Morale. Morale. Sever Felton. Felton. Felton. Oh, what happened to that Felton? I severed it.
Starting point is 00:16:23 Say that again? Nah. I'm all good actually. What happened? Nah. What happened? to that Felton it was severed severed felt I don't get it
Starting point is 00:16:31 this isn't severed like but what's Felton the thing that was severed but what's Felton but felt like the material explain yourself there's nothing to explain there's nothing going on up here
Starting point is 00:16:45 what's going on up there not much nothing bippo popi bippo Andrea Huppett good on you Andrea Alicia Moostico good on you Alicia Renee Sharon Sharon Kendall good on you Kendall
Starting point is 00:16:57 Victor Colico and Rob Alvarado, great fucking name. Yep. And speaking of Patreon, speaking of champion Tarpers, yep. Yeah, I got something to do. And it's also your story.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Yeah, my just said Lynn. Yeah. Yeah. No, good. Yeah. Hey, the Tony and Ryan calendar is back. If you join by November 1, you get a calendar sent to your address.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Plus, you go in the running to win the golden ticket. Oh. Now, what is the golden ticket? Great question. Wherever you are in the world, you get flown to Melbourne, Australia. That's where we live. You get picked up at the airport by us. Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:35 And then escorted to your limousine. Yes. Where we all drive to your fancy hotel that we've set up with a whole bunch of goodies and set you right up for the week of your life in Melbourne, Australia. During the week, you can enjoy our beautiful city. Heaps of tapas gives heaps of Melbourne recommendations. And you'll come into Tarp Tower for the day, be a part of an episode recording. We'll go and have lunch together.
Starting point is 00:17:56 It is a mad time. They're spending money, hotels, airfares, everything's included. So one lucky tarpa gets the golden ticket. But everyone who signs up to be a champion tarpa in our Patreon by November 1 gets the Tony and Ryan 2027 calendar. You can't buy it anywhere else. You have to do it in Patreon. If you just want to sign up for a month, get your calendar and your chance to win and fuck off,
Starting point is 00:18:18 all good. I get it. I'd love to see you in there. And I'd love to see you in the back of my limo when we pick you up from Melbourne Airport. Oh my God. Great spiel. Thank you. So last year our golden ticket tapper, Jesse, we flew him and he's plus one from Dubai.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Yep. And they hung out here. They had a great time. And a recent addition to the calendar is that if, like, the golden ticket tapper, your birthday is in the following year's calendar. Slay. So this year, for 2027, Jesse from last year, his birthday or like a date that he chooses is going to go in the calendar. And so is that for a. Yeah, well, that'll just be, and we'll just keep adding to them.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Yeah, so in 10 years, there'll be all 10 spread out. Yeah, I love that. I think that's really fun. I love that. We're also including shoe spraying week. Shoe spraying week, pipa swarming tablet. And what was the one we added last? Stacey Appreciation Day.
Starting point is 00:19:10 Stacey Appreciation Day. Sad. Sad. Yeah, good job, Charles. One thing that was included in the golden ticket last year that we cannot guarantee is that Charles will call you at midnight and meet you at a club. Yeah. Because that did happen.
Starting point is 00:19:27 with last year's gone to guitar. We can't guarantee that for legal reasons. Yeah. But he's up for it though. I totally forgot about that. Well, Jesse and Charbel haven't. Yeah. He's the best part of their life.
Starting point is 00:19:39 Did you forget about it because it was 2 a.m. And you were hammered and you're like, I won't even get an Uber. I'll walk there. You probably. I'll walk to South Yarra from Flinders Street because who gives a fuck? I wrote a live bike. Thank you. And if you don't mind, Charles will stay in the hotel with you.
Starting point is 00:19:53 That did not happen? No. Three-person thing. It was a big. hotel room. There's that couch in the other room. There was that couch. That room was a fucking good room. That was awesome. I hope that we get that room again. Same. Yeah. Well, not that exact one because Charles is...
Starting point is 00:20:05 Oh yeah. That one is closed. Clues down. Patreon.com slash Tony and Ryan. We'd love to see you in Melbourne. And I'd love to be on your wall for the calendar all of next year. Now, in every friendship, there's always one of the friends that's clearly like the cooler one. And there's always one who is less cool. Yeah. am I the less cool one and that's okay I don't mind
Starting point is 00:20:33 I'm trying to guess you up but even that asking that Am I the cooler? Oh I'm the cool one Yeah I'm the cool one Yeah, between Tony and I who do you think's the cooler
Starting point is 00:20:41 Don't ask him that That's like he might seem to pick him A favourite parent Well I'm going to let everyone know That I'm the not cool one And There was a defining moment Where I realised
Starting point is 00:20:55 I wasn't the cool one And in fact Tony and her husband, Torbs, were actually the cool guys. Oh, was it when I was wearing these overalls? No. No. No. Cool.
Starting point is 00:21:06 That's not in at all. Okay. Torbs has been going to the surfing place. Urban surf. Urban surf. I was going to say fake. It's not fake, but like what do you describe? It's like a wave park.
Starting point is 00:21:19 Yeah. So you can go there and it's like simulates, you know, ocean scenarios. Yeah. But you can surf there. But it's like you pay for the hour and you're guarantee. like X amount of good waves. Whereas if you go to the ocean, it's so far.
Starting point is 00:21:32 It's crazy out there. But it's so far from here. How many good waves per hour? Well, they can't guarantee that. You know, she weather. You know? So I think it's good. Good place to learn.
Starting point is 00:21:44 And so Torbs, after going surfing. He goes like twice a week. Apparently. Took his wet suit off and then put his swimmers on so he could get into the hot tub with the other surfers. Mm-hmm. And then I said, oh, well, he doesn't just have like shorts or budgy smugglers underneath his wetsuit. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:22:07 And the disgust. Tuddy goes, only losers wear baters under their wetsuit. Sorry. Sorry. Only losers would do that. And I go, I just assumed and she goes, yeah, you would. Do you know what it gave me? And I didn't realize how much of a.
Starting point is 00:22:27 not cool surfer guy I was. And I used to wear a lot of wooden beads and listen to a lot of John Butler Trio. That is true. You lived in Fremantle as well. Yeah. So I spiritually should be a cool dude. Cool dude.
Starting point is 00:22:44 And here I am slipping a smuggler under a wetsuit. Nah. It's not the way. But it gave me the energy of, you know when I, like when you and Charles liked laughing about how like, oh, I bet you he takes his pants all the way to his ankles at the urinal. And I was like, oh, do you not do that? And you're like, only if you're sick or whatever. Like, that was such a read.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Yeah. It's the same. Like, oh, undies under your wetsuit. Undies under your wet suit is the equivalent of pulling your pants down to your ankles. That was the energy it gave me when you guys were talking about it. That's correct. Does everyone know about this? I think so.
Starting point is 00:23:20 And so that's why like. Don't you, isn't it logistically like, isn't there a lot going on? I thought that there would be some rubbing, et cetera, but apparently no. And so all of the- What about when you're laying on the front of the board? But what would underwear do to protect you in that situation? Well, you can hold it one way or another, or an angle at one way or another. Okay.
Starting point is 00:23:43 I don't understand the mechanics of a penis. I'm so aware of that because you've tried to explain how you think boys pee and it is not funny. I just don't understand it. But- What about girls? Is there rubbing or chafing? Well, I would probably wear a bather. top at the very least because my nipples yeah that because it's so sensitive yeah um but i
Starting point is 00:24:02 know i nodded like oh obviously you're like tell me about your nipples always tell me about a girlfriend um but yeah i think on the puss i i i think i would yeah um especially especially if i was renting one oh is torbs renting a wetter like he wears his own you know i didn't even think of that oh thanks to the rental mate yeah i just rub my cock against it for a full hour Yeah, that fucking wetsuit's pregnant. Like, what if a, what if a girl then use that wet suit after? Could you get pregnant like that? I think so, because you know how there were stories about, like, who's the father?
Starting point is 00:24:36 And it turns out, like, the guy, like, jerked off in the bath and then someone else had a bath. That happened on Glee. Glee. Did it? Yeah. That's where I heard it. Must be true. It probably is.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Yeah. Yeah. Everybody on that show is a fucking upstanding citizen. Fucking hell. Everyone on that show is a really good person. Yeah. So. Quinneth Paltrow was in it.
Starting point is 00:25:01 Do you know what I mean? Yeah. So places you can get pregnant. Bathtubs in Glee. Rented wetsuits. Rented wetsuits at Urban Surf. Yeah. Public toilet at the Westfield.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Public toilet at the Westfield and foam parties. Oh, definitely. Definitely. Yeah. Although someone tried to claim that the suds of the soap would kill the sperm. How long? Like, if you got calm on you, right? And it dries.
Starting point is 00:25:32 Yep. But then like you rewet it. Does it like rehydrate and it's like good to go again? So if we... That sounds like a dumb question, but is it? But like, so if we took a fish out of the water. Tea? And then it died.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Yeah. Would you just throw it back in and it would come back to life? No. But that's not rehydrated. What's the difference? Okay. Okay. No, rewetting dried semen does not bring it back to life and make it usable.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Hang on, define usable. Yeah, what for? Cell damage. Once it dries out, they suffer irreversible damage and death. Dehydration kills sperm and dead cells cannot be revived or reactivated by adding water. Saliva. Or any other liquid. Going again.
Starting point is 00:26:22 If you are asking around having sexual activity, or ejaculation your body produced. Charles, can you write how long after jizzing can you still get pregnant? Technical term. Oh, he wrote jizzy. That's interesting. Pregnant.
Starting point is 00:26:41 Oh, Charles. You can still get pregnant after five days. Oh, so the cums live inside you for that long. That's crazy. Five days. Five days. Spirm live inside the body for up to five days. Five days.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Five days. Hang, when was that day that you, was it about five days ago that you came in and said I had sex this morning? There's still live jizzing you from Matt. Ryan, Jonathan Dunn, let alone. I'm a lady. Let's fucking keep it above. That's so freaky.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Just hanging out, probably the cafe. What do you want in flat white? Me too. So in conclusion, wet suits. Wet suits, no underwear underneath. and you can't get pregnant because it would be dead. Oh, but the water, like the chlorine and stuff in the pool would. So true.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Also, he's not coming. Oh, he loves surfing. He loves to surf every day. He's out there every day. Has a cigarette afterwards with the other guys in the hot tub. Yeah, great. What do you love to see, Tony Lodge? Yeah, just give me a second.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Speaking of pregnancy, this is from Reese Holyoke, who is actually one of our traveling tarpers. Is he expecting? No, but his partner has just had some fucking incredible news. So, Reese Holly Oaks, boyfriend, Richard, who we met at the... Crush Church. Yeah, he was there, and he's coming to Fiji with us as well. Fuck, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:07 Reese's boyfriend, Richard, has just been awarded a million dollar scholarship to study a PhD in Applied Aerospace Engineering. Sorry, what? I started across from that. Didn't get that vibe. No, that is a real. real surprise to all of us. So his specific...
Starting point is 00:28:26 I can tell you what it wasn't in, painting. His specific thesis... Yeah. Love you, Richard. His specific thesis is stratospheric-based passive radio frequency sensing for persistent maritime domain awareness.
Starting point is 00:28:39 What a smart dick. Have you ever heard more words that you didn't know the meaning of? Most A's to be honest. Resed, I'm generally not too sure what any of that means. Yeah. But I'm so proud of him and needed to share.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Isn't that amazing? a million dollar scholarship to study his PhD in applied aerospace engineering. Richard and race nice one your boyfriend's got a PhD dude. Well done. That's very nice. That is. Isn't that crazy? I'm unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Guys, genuine question. Maybe this is off their chat. What the fuck are we going to talk to him about? Oh, I think you meant like, what are we doing? No, like, what the fuck are we going to talk to this about? Like, I'm just going to be like, no, tell sweep. He's going to be like, I'm actually a fucking genius. He talked to him about the plane we came in on.
Starting point is 00:29:25 Yeah. I can. Arrow. Fiji. Arrow. Arrow that chocolate bar. That's my favourite. You know what he would be a good chat for?
Starting point is 00:29:34 You know what he would be a good chat for? You know how aeroplanes are made of metal and are heavy. Yeah. And there's no real reason that they're flying. Slay. He might be able to dispel those rumours. Oh. So,
Starting point is 00:29:53 After a full fucking pineapple, I'll be like, mate, I need you to tell me some facts. Look, sorry if I got my tina hat on here, Dick, but... I hate to slap you like to dick, but... But you know how he came here on a hunk of metal that's really heavy and supposedly it went through the sky? Yeah. Discuss.
Starting point is 00:30:11 We say things to him like, oh, the old metal bird, you know? Like, oh, the old fucking skyplane. You know, things like that. Skyplane. I suppose the fucking water plane. The airplane. You know what I mean? Oh, speaking of New Zealand.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Oh, Kyara. You love to see it from Courtney Collie. Hi, Courtney Colley. Like a collie, like a border collie, I guess. See, that's why I'm worried about Richard. What if I wolf at him? When don't get nervous, she starts barking. I'm like, what do I do?
Starting point is 00:30:54 Mine's probably not as big as achievement. No, no, we don't do that here. We don't do that. But after years of loving motorbikes, about three months ago, I thought I would go and get my motorcycle learner's license and have been absolutely loving it. The old fucking two-wheeled beetle.
Starting point is 00:31:14 That's what they're all calling it. Carry on, Ryan. Tell us about the, oaf, oaf. Well, they're getting their hours up and they're feeling pretty confident about getting their license how they're going to be just cruising around New Zealand on a motorbike. Would you get your motorbike license? I'd love to get mine.
Starting point is 00:31:29 So I, unlicensed. Oh, the scooter. I used to ride scoot. When I lived in Asia, I had a scooter, loved it. Loved it, loved it, loved it. I would love to, but I just don't know if I'd ever get around to it. I feel like it's held dangerous here. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:46 It's pretty dangerous there as well. I mean, probably up in the hills where you live. It's like a rough place to ride a bike because of kangaroos and, you know, Like, it's a scary place to... This kangaroo jumped out in front of me this morning and I missed it by like... It's fucking... It's rough.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Yeah. Because where you live now is like very similar to like where I grew up in Perth. A lot of ruse. Yeah, like I've... It's so scary. And we say scary because you hit a kangaroo, the car's going to be more fucked up than your kangaroo. Oh, the kangaroo normally bounces away.
Starting point is 00:32:18 They bounce off and go see you, bud. Good luck. I'm sorry about that. I hope you got insurance. Yeah. Thank you. Oh, no. Comedia.
Starting point is 00:32:24 You know, they fuck off. Why, they've been fucking the koalas. Oh, yeah. You ever seen a hybrid? Put that in your pouch. Oh, that'll do me for today, actually. Yeah, Slay. All right.
Starting point is 00:32:35 See you tomorrow. Love you. Love you so much. Oh, oh. You're pregnant. Tomorrow's a huge day. You are a wetsuit. So, you know how we were trying to get on the block, the renovation show?
Starting point is 00:32:45 Yes. They're not interested. I put the call out and said, does anyone have a connection? To the block. Yeah. I think to get us on the show. Well, we're just like, we need, who's, we need a, in. How do we pitch ourselves?
Starting point is 00:32:57 And so I said, do you have a connection or like a coincidence connection to the block? Is this a little bit like how in New Zealand everyone's got a connection to the Lord of the Rings? Like if you meet someone in New Zealand, they go, oh yeah, my cousin played an orc in the movie. Yeah, and everyone in America has mine to Dolly Parton. Yes. Oh, I'll make sure as a piece. Yeah. Well, let's just say, we've got some pretty good hookups for the block tomorrow. Pretty pretty good.
Starting point is 00:33:24 The top community, so look out for that. Can't be any worse than me saying the two-wheeled beetle. Love you. Well, you'd be surprised. Love you, bye.
