Starting point is 00:00:00 Warning girls, they're using Hinge as Airbnb. One of my girlfriends just messaged me. She matched with this guy. He's like, let me take you out for a date this weekend. She's like, I love that. He's like, I might need to stay over. Fuck. I would never.
Starting point is 00:00:12 You would, though. Hey, this is Leanne and Roney from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Hi, guys. This is Sarah and Ullo from the Hague in the Netherlands. Hi, I'm Danielle from Vancouver, Washington, USA. And I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. My name is Ryan. This is Dr. Author Tony Lodge and big asterisk at the top. Today is not Tony's Day. It's not. I've had a fucking shocker.
Starting point is 00:00:51 It's a Tuesday. I've been to wait for three minutes. It's got Monday morning energy. On a fucking Monday. Tuesday. Tuesday. Tony's got Tuesday blues. I do have the Tuesday Blues day. And... Does he probably run a marathon on the weekend? Yeah. Tony ordered eight and then the house. Ash Brown seemed to just fall out of your mouth before. It was really hard. Yeah. Then I did it off the floor.
Starting point is 00:01:16 Yeah. And then you've been galloping around the studio like a horse. Because I thought that would help. I thought that if I got my wrigglys out and that would help. I'd do my horsey and that didn't help. So Tony said to everyone, look at my horsey and we all said you're doing Gangdom style, which is crazy. Also, I'm here to say it's not your fault. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:01:36 Usually we come in and it's cold. Charles has fixed the heater. Thank you, Charles. It's fucking warm up here. It's fucking warm up here. It's too hot now. I don't like it. Charles has cleaned the heater too well. And I've really...
Starting point is 00:01:45 You've got a hot coffee, which is a crazy choice. Yep. I was like, I might get a cold orange juice or something. It's so fucking hot up here. I just put this jacket on. That was a mistake. Yeah. I don't have anything on under this.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Take it up. Take it up. Um, the World Cup's over. See ya. Sorry. So... Nah, do you know, it's been great. We've got some new Nova's, though.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Oh, have loved the World Cup. Really? Yep. Is the ones who party you went to? And, no, other way. Other side. So the games are at 5 a.m. in Australia. Aren't they?
Starting point is 00:02:18 Oh. Don, I know about it. Oh. And good for them. Yeah. Expensive flights, hotels are all booked, expensive tickets, people traveling around the US. It's been revealed that many men went on a hinge to find a place to stay in the cities where their team were playing because it was like two. expensive or the hotels were just booked.
Starting point is 00:02:45 This is Emily on TikTok who did a little thing. Warning girls, they're using hinges Airbnb. Fuck, I mean, I would never. You would though. Well, sometimes you need a place to stay. Or sometimes there's the end of the night and you go, it's not about finding a love interest. It's about finding a mattress.
Starting point is 00:03:05 And that's okay. I just, I would never go somewhere without a plan. And you like, you know that. I do know that. Yeah. Um,
Starting point is 00:03:11 but yeah, I could never. Though I know that back in the day, when you were like out of the party, you'd be like, I'll find something out. And again, it's not always about like finding someone to sleep with, but just like, oh, someone will offer me a place to stay or I'll get one with them.
Starting point is 00:03:22 Yeah. How would you feel about it? Because obviously in a World Cup, like, you don't know where you're going to qualify and where. And so a lot of people just have to like fly to the US and you've got to go, well, I guess we'll figure it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:32 Because if we finish top of our pool, the next game's in Mexico City. But second, it's in fucking Atlanta. Yeah. I watched a game. That sounds like it. Now,
Starting point is 00:03:41 question for, I'm going to ask all three of, ask the same question. Okay. Have you Tony in the last month been to Bali and have someone stay in your room purely for a place to stay? Well, no, I haven't. You don't ask me. Ryan, have you been to Bali in the last month? Probably two weeks, actually. And had someone stay with you just because they needed a place to stay? No. Charles. I've had someone stay with me, but they also had another place they could have stayed. Must be nice.
Starting point is 00:04:19 That's not what I heard from Ryan just then. I heard a girl in Bali, went to a nightclub without a place to stay, sought Charles a sucker. Knew that he was rich. Knew that he's rich. Knew he had family money. Knew he had his own villa. Was breakfast included in your villa?
Starting point is 00:04:35 No, it was not. Oh, well, they ate. That's what I heard. So, because we asked Charles to send us a picture of his breakfast. and he refused. And he sent a picture of a girl's vagina. Well, yeah. He didn't send a nude of someone else, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Did she not have a place to stay? She did. She was on a girls trip with other girls. And they had a villa. So how many of the girls trip did you go through? Just one. Sorry, that was. When you hear someone in the bar and they go,
Starting point is 00:05:02 I'm on a girl's trip, well, that's already happened. Well, do you remember just before we left Italy? Charles left. Charles left the day before you and I. And the hens party arrived. We were like, lucky for them. And all their boyfriends.
Starting point is 00:05:20 No, I was just like, oh, Charles has missed a real opportunity. Charles would have loved this. You know when someone passed away? You go, they would have loved that. If that was like, it was like we were in mourning. A lady named Storm who lives in New York said, well, they just sound like the coolest person I've ever heard of. Storm from New York.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Storm who lives in Brooklyn, New York. Okay. Well, I would sleep with them too. Look at these glasses They've heard the whole like The boys are using Hinge's Airbnb And she goes well let's beat them at their own game I go on Hinge when I need something done around the house
Starting point is 00:05:54 Oh so a little bit of a tip for tat kind of situation Literally Yes And she's like And she said they feel so proud when they're helpful It's so condescending and I absolutely love it Oh thank you for putting that shelf up Yeah, oh, geez, you wouldn't tall man be able to put the new battery in the smoke alarm, would you?
Starting point is 00:06:16 I'm tiny. I'm too small to reach. I'm so small. Get it. Boys are stupid. We've got some confessions here. These are top confessions. These are top confessions.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Please send them through to tony and ryan.com.com.com. Charles, what if I needed a place to stay? Would you let me stay in your villa? Yeah, you could have stayed. Okay, thank you. Was it a one-bedroom villa? Yeah. What's the price of admission?
Starting point is 00:06:40 For you. for you nothing. That's really nice. Yeah. Because you don't want to fuck me. Yeah. He's like, I'll fuck you. He's like, oh fuck you.
Starting point is 00:06:52 He's like, it's fine. You don't need to fuck me. Just leave on the couch and shut up. Yeah. Oh, all good. I'm like, I don't mind. The couch was really comfortable though. How do you know that?
Starting point is 00:07:01 Why did she make you sleep out there? No, but like, did you just, did you fuck out there as well? Do you need the name of my steam cleaning guy? It's pretty good value. You just got to. give him 85 reviews. It'll take you a while to make a few burner accounts. Does he use service barley? He would if you gave me a review. Sounds like Charles services barley. It's been a while since we've had some mild revenge.
Starting point is 00:07:27 This is a mcjerk face, self-named. Self-named mcjerk face. We're all friends here. Whenever I see a car park like an absolute cockhead, I open the fuel door on their car. Does it do any damage? No. Do most people not notice and just drive off? Yes. But do I spend 20 minutes looking at their car park with the thing popped open and go, suck up. And also sometimes you just want to do a little,
Starting point is 00:07:53 because you know how you like press it to pop it over? Yeah. Give it a little one. Yeah. You wouldn't go to the cap, though, too. Oh, no. But I wouldn't do anything. This is like I would sit in my car and go,
Starting point is 00:08:03 I should fucking do something about that. And I wouldn't because I would be like, no, I don't want to fuck with anyone. Yeah. Just give me a bit of a little. I'll let you get a bit of lip service on the way through. Yeah, with the windows up. Oh. Like, I wouldn't ever say something to someone.
Starting point is 00:08:18 Really? No, no, no, no. Like, I would do... She's very lippy with the window. Remember the other week? Very lippy. We're driving along the Georgia's road. And you...
Starting point is 00:08:29 Oh, what was the speed limit? You were dropping... It's 60 at the moment. Okay. You were dropping me back. And then the car, like, goes to, like, a red light or something. And then we catch up with them the next red light. And then you're...
Starting point is 00:08:40 You then turned to them and you're like, oh, what was that? Lucky you're coming off. I think is what happened. When you catch up to them. Yeah. Oh, was it worth it? Yeah. And you go, oh, did you have somewhere to be?
Starting point is 00:08:52 With the window up. With the window up. Yeah. Oh, my God. I'm not a sociopath. And then Charles said, what was I? I go, nothing. Nothing?
Starting point is 00:09:01 All good. It's fine. It's fine. It's fine. I should get it out. And then let off some steam. Oh, here I thought you were a bad boy. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:09:09 And you know I'm not. Let's fucking rewind. You know that I'm not. What's that? I do come back in the shower too. All bark, no bite? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But there's not even any bark.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Well, the barking is in the thing. I bark internally. That's why I have a therapist. If you have internal barking, what do you speak to someone? You wouldn't know either. I don't mind a look. And you do with this as well.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Oh, that are very condescending thumbs up. Sometimes you'll do a thumbs up. Yeah. That's fine. Torbs does that as well. So as we'll get to, a good part of Daddy Daycare. We're going to be talking about Daddy Daycare after this. Is that he's often, even against his enemies, quite polite.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Yeah. You know, when that... See you tomorrow, Crispin. Tomorrow. When that kick him in the leg. Because I will be off back to our own daycare. So you're all the best. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:10 And I like that. Thank you, Ms. Harriton. I like that. This is from Flat Patty. Also a... Or maybe that's not... Schmatt, Shmattie. Schmattie.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Schmatt, schmattie. Say you, say you feel the same. Can't get... Are we singing the same song? I don't think so. I was singing Jackie. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Can't get you off my mind. I only know the Jack, Jack, Jackie. We can tell. It was the emergency tape. Yeah. And doesn't she get around do some gigs? Jack, Jackie. Drives up from bloody Geelong or wherever she is.
Starting point is 00:10:47 Yeah. I think her name's Melissa or. What? Yeah. Because she's from Melbourne, but she does like every... Is that song Australian? Yeah, she's from Melbourne. She lives in Melbourne.
Starting point is 00:10:57 You're joking me. I would never look up. Jack, Jack, Jackie. I'm pretty sure her name's like Melissa or like a really normal name. Like her stage name is just like a re- Huh? Sue? No, Charles, not Sue.
Starting point is 00:11:12 Because this is the song. Is it not? No. Jackie, when you're touching mud. So, in the candlelight. Oh, Jackie. Actually, when you type that in, it was a video from Kiss, which you're in. It's probably that one, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I woke up with your name on my lips. Joanne. What did you say? Melissa. Close. They're kind of the same name. Oh, Joanne is the Melissa of the Jays. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:46 I woke up with your name on my lips. The way it starts as well. I know, we can't play it. Oh, fucking copyright suck my dick. Yeah. Patty. Thanks, Suzanne. From time to time, my dear husband, who I love the most, pisses me the fuck off.
Starting point is 00:12:05 It's like. And when he's been a full turd knuckle, I walk calmly to the fridge, pick up his Pepsi Max, twist the cap just slightly enough to let the gas out. Like me in traffic. I just got a little bit of gas out. His next drink completely flat. He's never figured out why. But that's what you get for A, drinking Pepsi Max over the Diet Coke.
Starting point is 00:12:31 That is exactly what I was about to say. And B, for being a turd. These are the consequences of your actions. Um, yeah, I mean, who's drinking Pepsi? Fuck, that would make me so mad. That would make me so mad. Like, recently there was a bit of a scandal in the office because I drank two Diet Coke in a row that tasted and I was like,
Starting point is 00:12:55 there's something wrong. It turns out they were expired. An old dirty batch. Yeah. So we've since gotten rid of the old dirty batch because they were not good. Yeah. But if something was happening that every time I got a drink, it didn't taste right. I would be so few.
Starting point is 00:13:08 because it would just get at you. We saw it. But it would. No, we do. Yeah. We know what it means, don't we, Charles. We just been a restock, man.
Starting point is 00:13:15 Yeah. Yeah, thank you. Something amazing has happened recently, though. Charles, what cola beverage did you have yesterday with lunch? I had vanilla Coke zero sugar. I had a vanilla Coke full shug. Full shugs.
Starting point is 00:13:31 And I was. Thanks for saying shugs. Buzzin. Worker? Yeah. Well, 600 meals of Coke. Is it the shugs? or is it the caffeine in the...
Starting point is 00:13:39 I think it's the glorious combination of the... It's the vanilla. Is there caffeine in Coke? Mm-hmm. Is it higher than the zeros and the diets? Or is the caffeine the same? Because I know you can get no caffeine. I think it's the same.
Starting point is 00:13:56 I don't think like a diet Coke has less caffeine. It's not less caffeine, sure. But caffeine is definitely a thing that you build up your tolerance and stuff. So, you know, those... I know you're not at this, but those people who are like, I'm having five Diet Coke's a day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:06 Over the time, they just, their body just gets used to it. Bridget can have a delicious, strong double-shot coffee and be like, that was a delicious coffee, I'm off to bed. That's crazy to me. Yeah, and I'm like, oh, it's 2.30 in the afternoon, I'll be up all day.
Starting point is 00:14:20 After dinner, and they go, can I get anyone to your coffee? I'm like, absolutely not. Fuck, no. Mabel. Mabel loves a coffee. No, so we were joking about coffee, because we get her a babuccino, and she loves the idea of the froth milk
Starting point is 00:14:32 and she loves going to the cafe. And because sometimes they do a little sprinkle on the top and stuff like that. Did I tell you that our boy pan like took the like took care of her to perfection? Oh, I'm, um, Eddie's. Feel good Eddie's. No, that was it called. No, that's crazy.
Starting point is 00:14:47 Sorry, I got to feel good eddies before. I forgot the thing that you fucked up earlier and that was it. Yeah. Forgetting the name of the cafe we've been to every day for three years. Yeah. So he put on a show for my daughter, Mabel. He got the sprinkles and then Mabel like had the coffee and had the sprinkles straight off the top.
Starting point is 00:15:02 And he's like, oh, that's no good because we've already had it. So he like got another thing and like mixed him in. and then like got the foam. And then you know how there's the wall of the dogs? Yeah. Like he showed her all the dogs and stuff and she loved her. And like, he's such a babe.
Starting point is 00:15:15 Yeah. But she knows that she doesn't have real coffee. And we, I must have said this as a throwaway comment once. And they like a sponge mate. They remember. And, and someone was like,
Starting point is 00:15:25 oh, Mabel, are you having like a real coffee? And she's like, no, I'll be bouncing off the walls. That is so cute. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:35 But she knows, oh, no, Bouncing off the walls. And isn't that such an old soul thing to say? Yeah. Yeah, I'll be bouncing off the walls. That is so cute.
Starting point is 00:15:45 That is so fucking cute. Do you want to know, Diet Coke has more caffeine than regular Coke and no sugar Coke. That's amazing. What? So it has 46 milligrams for like the 350 mil, whatever. Like a can? I can, yeah, versus 34 milligrams in Coke Zero and regular Coke. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:16:06 That is, but if I have a coffee, you're buzzing off of course. I am, yeah, because I only have one coffee a day. Yeah. But if I'll have a Diet Coke with dinner. You'd be up all night. Oh, I'll be bouncing off the walls. Let me make a quick call.
Starting point is 00:16:24 Oh, where are we? Hello, wife. It's husband. You're on the show. Oh, hello. This is the test. If we ask Mabel, if she wants a real coffee, why wouldn't she have it? Because she, bouncing off the wall.
Starting point is 00:16:42 love you love you love you love you oh mine was louder I'm obsessed with her and my daughter I love my family that is so beautiful can I do my life to see it early sure this morning because usually it's like who's dropping Mabel at daycare and it's like is it daddy drop off or is it mommy drop off and I was like oh like who do you want to do drop off today and Mabel goes I want family drop off. I want mummy and daddy and BJ. And we're like, I don't know if BJ can come like into the daycare, but he'll definitely come for a drive. So me and Bridget and the dog all took Mabel to daycare this morning. That is so fucking cute. And then she wanted to be carried in. So like
Starting point is 00:17:31 Bridget had her left hand. I had my right and we were like swinging her between us and like, and that's how she's so she got slung in the door. Oh, wow. Yeah. And that was my morning. That is the cutest fucking thing I've ever heard. Ironically, we threw her in and she was bouncing off the walls. Hey guys, this is Sarah and Oola from the Hagen, the Netherlands. This is Leanne from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Hi, I'm Danielle from Vancouver, Washington. And you're listening to Tony and Ryan.
Starting point is 00:18:09 Hello, welcome back. Hello. And a big shout out to a few of your friends. of our champion tapers over at our Patreon. Our Patreon is like another part of the internet where you get Tony and Ryan and it's just like this but more. Just like this but more.
Starting point is 00:18:25 Tony replies to every single DM in Patreon. I do. A lot of live streams which people are getting involved in and commenting. Mm-hmm. And the group chat. Popes off. People are making, do we like that people are making friends in there?
Starting point is 00:18:39 Yes. I feel left out. Well, then you just have to reply. Yeah, but then they're like, oh, They've started a little book group and oh, I found where from the same town. You can't read. That's okay.
Starting point is 00:18:50 I'm thinking though, because people are very into book clubs at the moment, thinking about starting one in Patreon for like, like that if you're in the Patreon, maybe we could pick a book every two months and I'll read it or something. That's a great idea and definitely not ruined my, you love to see it. So I forget what I said. Thank you to a few of our champion tarpice. Because Amanda hasn't set up a... Okay, you know what?
Starting point is 00:19:18 I'm going to have to fucking stop you right there. You've already done it you've already done it you love to see it. Now you're yelling at me about a different you love to say. I can't keep up. I just love to say so much stuff. The first champion top on my list here is my 11-year-old listens to you while she plays dolls. Probably a little bit young. Like, are you all good with your 11-year-old saying pussy?
Starting point is 00:19:37 Like, I'm just letting you know that's probably up to you. But I watched one of our oldest internet clips the other day. And we were... Did you come across an internet meme after you dialed up to the internet? And you were trying to ask me if I could do the sound and then I did a sloppy one and you said
Starting point is 00:19:56 that's what good pussy sounds like. And I stand by out of that. Stand out of there. I'll stand by out of the other. Charles, can you type in Tony and Ryan Good Pussy? I actually recently watched that video the other day. Have we just reposted that somewhere
Starting point is 00:20:09 because it came up for me the other day? And because I say, can you do it? I can't. I do it perfectly and you go, you just did it. And I go, no, I can't do it. Oh, spoilers. Oh, we'll play the clip Charles. People are gagging to know what happens.
Starting point is 00:20:24 It's not going to. Oh. I'm going to be serious. Jokes on you, Charles. You just Google Tony and Ryan good pussy. And nothing came up. Victoria, thank you, Victoria. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:20:35 Maybe you men New South Wales. Aye, aye, aye, aye. Kelly, good on you, Kelly. Lou Matt. Thanks, Lou Matt. Oh, I wonder if they know Baff. And their cousin Dore. Jordan Acacia, good on you, Jordan.
Starting point is 00:20:52 Sarah Jane Clark. Thanks to Sarah Jane Clark. Elisa Murgia, Mugia, maybe. Spencer Shields, Mika Imel, Rian, not Ryan. And Christina Nate Abbey. Thank you very much being part of our Patreon. Thank you so much. Tony last week said, and I don't really know why,
Starting point is 00:21:10 that we all should go and watch Daddy Daycare. Well, it came up because you talked about voicemails for Isabel. Yep. And then we were talking about like movies with spoilers. And I said we should go back to back in the day when we used to be like, we're all watching Blah movie next week. So there can't be any spoils. We've given you a week's notice that we're going to talk about it.
Starting point is 00:21:29 Got a deep. And this movie's from 1986. So it's actually 2003. Thank you. And the reason I know that is because someone, bit, bit, has messaged in with a question.
Starting point is 00:21:41 Oh. Wonder who it could be, anonymous. Oh. How long into watching Dr. Doolittle do you think you'd realize it's not Daddy Daycare? Even though, to be fair to who wrote this in, very fair, they both have Eddie Murphy and they both have multiple words starting with D. Yeah. I would say it's a pretty easy mistake to make.
Starting point is 00:22:05 Is it that you forgot the movie and you've just gone like, what's that Eddie Murphy movie and that's popped up? Someone's gone, oh, Dr. Doolittle. And you go, yeah, it's got the D's, Eddie Murphy. Yeah, great. Sure. So you didn't watch the movie? I watched multiple movies yesterday. So you watched half Dr. Doolittle?
Starting point is 00:22:27 I would say half, but enough to have gone. To be like, this isn't it? I mean, you see Eddie Murphy. No, I think I said. You like, I also watched Norbit. You know that movie where he dresses up sort of characters? Um, I was like, I'm watching Daddy, again, Bridges, like, I don't think you are.
Starting point is 00:22:48 Well, you know, we've got this thing set up on our thing now. Like, fuck, I don't know. Yeah, it's a thing where you type in the name and it plays it. No, but so when I finish something, it sends a ping and it's like, rate that thing. Oh. Like, I don't know if it's in prime or fucking whatever. Anyway. Right, Dr. Doolittle three.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Well, Torbs, it's Torbs's account. Like, he signed up for it. And so yesterday in the middle of the word day. Jobs texts me and he goes Busy day huh Busy I'm busy I'm a work slut Okay
Starting point is 00:23:20 And I was like It's for He goes Oh Let me get this straight You have to watch Doctor Do Little
Starting point is 00:23:27 Daddy Daycare And Daddy Daycare He goes You had to watch Daddy Daycare for work He goes Oh is that a bit Like how last week
Starting point is 00:23:35 You had to watch fucking whatever else It was during the day And I was like That one was just for me That was No That was just me watching Baywatch again.
Starting point is 00:23:44 Yeah, that was a lie, but this one is real. This one is real. And so he's just like, oh, big day, doll. Okay. Do you have an opening remark, a hot take or just a sentence that you want to share about Daddy Daycare? So I've got two things. And one is right up your rally. Please.
Starting point is 00:24:02 How crazy is it that the prime minute, the principal's assistant is Gretchen Wieners from me girls. Yes. No, I could not believe it. I was like, it's Gretchen Wiener. I like that. It was Gretchen Wiener. Is it because she loved doing the IMDB search afterwards? I was like, Ryan's going to love this fact.
Starting point is 00:24:16 You already, I was like, that's Gretchen Wiener. You see it straight away and you're like, oh. This sounds like offensive to that actress, but I, she's just Gretchen Wiener in my mind. I don't even realize or connect that she's like an actress that's probably another stuff. You're like, oh my God, Gretchen Wieners is playing this person. But then I didn't realize until I did my ID being, she's also the hot girl in not another teen movie. Haven't seen that. Oh, it is.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Interesting. Oh, is that the, it's a spoof movie of like, like, cruel intentions and stuff like that. Cruel intentions. I think Scream as well, maybe, or one of those. Yeah. But she's like, the generic. And I was like, fuck me. She's actually been in so much stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:55 That's wild. But Gretchen went, yeah. And then when she changes teams at the end. Yeah. On the, like at the cross. Hey, no, we gave everyone a week's notice. Yeah, that is true. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:04 And also the other thing is like, El Fanning is the little blonde girl. Yeah. Which is crazy. Bridget said is that one of the fannings. And I was like, I think it might be. Yeah. And she's so little and great acting. She is great in it.
Starting point is 00:25:15 Because have you watched, maybe Bridget's watched it, there's a new show that Elle Fanning's in and it's called Margot's Got Money Troubles. Oh, I've seen. Oh, I've seen. Oh, of her, yeah. Maybe it's got Nick Offerman in it as well.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I think we might have talked. Yeah. Yeah, it's a really good show though if anybody, oh yeah, it's on Apple TV. It's a great show. And also just the fact that I would be excellent children's entertainer. I think that goes with that.
Starting point is 00:25:42 But it should be said, though. Because you know at the beginning when they're doing the pitch and the guys wearing the like carrot and the broccoli suit? B-R-O-C-O-C-O-L-I. I am the broccoli and don't know why. C-A-R-R-O- and a T. Carrots are healthy for you and me. Ah. Ah.
Starting point is 00:26:01 You know how he does that? I love it. And I think I would be really good at that. How do you know that song? I have watched this movie so many times. Really? Oh, yeah. It was the first time I'd seen it.
Starting point is 00:26:12 Really? Yeah, never seen it. So, well, it's important to note as well that Charles has taken his home at very seriously. He also watched the movie. Did you? And he texts me. I actually... Oh, hot review coming through.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Hot review coming through. Sorry, we texted a lot about something else. A photo of him watching it and I forgot how good this movie is, ha-ha. And then this morning, as soon as I drove in, he goes, God, that movie really holds up, doesn't it? It does. It's a great movie. My note, my note. is just Marvin, what a guy.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Isn't he just a sweetheart? Yeah. Yeah, and he doesn't know that the hot month's trying to rail him at that day. Yeah, so cute. And I just thought everyone deserves a Marvin in their lifetime. And isn't it crazy to think that that is... Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:27:03 Steve's arm. It is the... Have you ever watched the movie Evil Woman with Jason Biggs and Jack Black and Steve Zahn, like capture a woman? I kept thinking that's the boyfriend from kissing boys in cars with Drew Barrymore. I've never seen that. He's the boyfriend. I've never seen it.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And he's. Bad boy. Yeah, but I was like, what a great actor because, you know. He's great. He's great. He's also the dad in dire of Winpy Kid. I haven't seen that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:30 No, I had sex in high school. So, I don't know. I think his joke about the flash vaporizing is the funniest is the funniest joke. in cinematic history. And they go, what's Flash's name is Tony? He goes, no, Flash's name is Wally West. And it's just so funny. But they find the signal, he's vaporized him.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Oh my God, they vaporized him. He's one of the great lines. And my final note, oh, Bridget cried, by the way. I can understand why. You know the scene? Yeah, and he goes, and I made friends. He goes, that's right, little man. You made friends.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Like when the son. Oh, no. I think for me, when he has to go back to his work and he goes, oh, if you need money, you can sell all my toys, because I just want to spend time with you. I could sell all my toys. It's so cute. My final note.
Starting point is 00:28:18 Can I just add one more? Please. Excellent line of comedy. And I thought, I reckon this is as a kid, me watching this, was one of those moments where I was like, I would love to make people laugh,
Starting point is 00:28:29 is when Eddie Murphy walks into the toilet after the kid is like, I missed. Yeah. And this, the look up to the room. Yeah. This poo on the roof.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah. Hilarious. So good. Excellent comedy. And they don't show, they just show his face. Just the face. And I go, God, that's good from him. We know what's happened.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I love that. I've got an announcement today. Oh my God, what is it? You're leaving the podcast as Taddy Daycare. Yeah. It's like, can I be like Toddy Daycare? Yeah, you come over. Well, you'll be our Marvin.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Tony Marvin Lodge. Yes. You'll entertain the kids and we'll be like, my God, what a winner. Man, am I glad we found her. I will put the suit on. I'll be, yes. She can already, in your interview, which it would just be a formality.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Oh my God. But, you know, you have to go through the process of it. What will Charles do? This will be the most technological events daycare. All of the parents will have a live stream of their kid. I love Daddy Daycare. I think it's such a sweet film. It is beautiful.
Starting point is 00:29:37 The mom is such a boss-ass bitch as well. Like, I just love it. Now, I'm going to ask you a question. Please, I love chatting to you. It's a double barrel question. A, did you know there was a sequel? And B, guess what the Rotten Tomatoes rating of that sequel is? I didn't know that there was a sequel, which is crazy,
Starting point is 00:30:01 because I think I've watched this movie more than anyone else on Earth. And what do you think the rating is of the second? Well, I reckon that the rating of the first one's got to be in the 80s. So I'm going to say that the second one's, in the 12s? I'm going to let you know that the number you just said has two digits in it and that would not be correct. What's the second one called?
Starting point is 00:30:24 Daddy Day Camp and Cuba Budding Jr. Cuba Gooding Jr. Like Eddie Murphy's like, well, I'm not doing it. And so they get Cuba. And on a high. There's not a single actor or from the first one in the second one. Oh. But they're just like, oh, yeah, this is the guy, but it's the other guy now.
Starting point is 00:30:42 and they got a 1% rating. No. 1% on Rottenmothers. 3.3 on IMDB. Charles, can you put the trailer? Oh, no, because you can't really hear it, eh? No, that's all right. Well, that is crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:59 So next week we're going to watch Daddy Day Camp. No, no, no, no, no. Do you have a pitch for a movie for a movie? Are we doing this again? Are we doing another movie? As long as, we're very clear on what it is. So fair.
Starting point is 00:31:15 I don't have time for two movies a week. Yeah. Yeah. What if it's self-inflicted? What if the two movies is self-inflicted? Because you did fuck it off. I just love that Bridget, how to say, I don't think that's what you're watching.
Starting point is 00:31:29 That's so funny. I think if you know the actor and the letters that the words start with, that it should be foolproof. Yeah. Okay. Should we watch another movie? I'll think about it. I'm going to have to think about it.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I've got a lot on. I'm trying to run a daycare and host a podcast. Oh, God. Okay, well, there's three hours every day. I've got a, you love to see it. Starting point is 00:34:04 A few weeks ago, we stumbled across the phenomenon that is old person logic. such as your nan or auntie. My auntie, you call my na. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Freezing her bills and scraping. Soaked the bills first so that no one could read where they were from and then put them in the freezer. Some more people have sent through the old person logic that's been passed on from their grandparents.
Starting point is 00:34:31 And there's some, you know how it's like, oh, grab a pen? Don't worry about the pen. No notes needed for these ones. Take no notes. Take no notes, but we'll do that tomorrow. Let us know in the comments if you've got a movie you want us to watch. Or if you want us to never do it again, that's also fine. And make sure that it's clearly defined.
Starting point is 00:34:48 What film it is, yeah. Basically, what we need from you is a title. That doesn't sound like another title, especially with the same actor. Love you. Bye.
