Starting point is 00:00:00 Males who have female best friends are happier, more honest and less annoying to be around. Am I happy? I think so. Am I pretty honest? Yes. Am I not annoying to be around? No. Hi, I'm Damarons from Winnipeg, Canada, currently in Kabul.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Hi, I'm Tammy Mayen from Snohomish, Washington, United States. Hi, I'm Annabelle from Dabwe, New South Wales, Australia, and I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. This is Dr. Author, bestselling Dr. Author Tony Lodge. My name is Ryan, and I think we've all missed a trick on a way to make easy money. Oh. You know when someone says something and you just go... Or the new thing, the new money-making scheme.
Starting point is 00:00:58 Well, it might be an old money-making scheme that we've all missed out on. Car wash. Someone DM me the other day. Mitch Golding, the one 2.4 million around the corner. Yeah. On two busy streets. Well, I said to Mitch. because he goes, should we go halves in buying this car wash?
Starting point is 00:01:15 And I said, the thing about it being $2.4 million is that it's going to make more than that on the first day. So if we invest in that, like it's basically a guaranteed earner from the get-go. Why don't we say to Mitch Golding, we'll go halves if he runs it? He would be up for that. I think I would be too. But he would do that. I think I'm in the mood to make. make really dumb decisions.
Starting point is 00:01:44 We did just talk about getting schnets. No, that's a good one. Now, the chips are awesome. Thank you. Charles, roll the tape. My friends and I used to sue each other so we could get on court TV. What? The court show lets you sue for up to $5,000, and they pay whoever wins.
Starting point is 00:01:59 So we made sure the plaintiff always won, and then we'd split the money. I played a promoter on Judge Joe Brown that sued my comedian friend because he left the show that I paid him to perform at. Promoter, Ben Palmer, is suing a performer for breach of contract. Defendant DeRulio Ledger says he had to leave the show for his own safety. The club, not even in the hood, but the whole hood was inside the club, Your Honor. But wouldn't the producers stop, like, casting you on the show? If I know anything about TV, and I don't.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Yeah, that's okay. If it was a good F, who cares? I don't think they personally, they're like, our job is to make a great show, and these guys who are comedians come on and just give us the most bogus story. Yeah. Like, they don't. care. Yeah?
Starting point is 00:02:44 You know? But like when you work in radio, you go like, oh, we can't use the same callers too much and stuff. Like surely being on TV, you'd be like, is there like... Yeah, what's going on to that comedy club? And if they're paying out, you'd think that if they were paying money out, they'd be like... Yeah. Well, I think, because I always go, how do people agree to come on here? Because everyone looks dumb.
Starting point is 00:03:04 And I think the deal is goes, hey, if you guys agree to come on, if you get fine two, grand, we'll cover the fine. We pay the thing. Yeah. So you don't get paid, but you get your, what you're worth back. And they go, oh, so we can just end this once and for all. None of us loses any money. You get a TV show.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Yeah. I love Judge Judy. Well, would you do the rounds? He goes, oh, yeah, Judge Judy's on to us. So let's hit up Judge Joe Brown. Yeah. And then I'm sure there's six or seven different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:31 I can't believe I said six or seven. I'm not doing that again. I'm not doing that again. That's a workplace safety. But there would probably be between five and eight of those shows. You know what I mean? Oh, there'd be heaps. Now, so if the two of us did this, who would be the plaintiff and who would be the defendant?
Starting point is 00:03:50 I don't know which is which. So one of us is like, this bitch screwed me over and the other one's like, I didn't do it. Yeah, but which... I don't know either. Oh, okay. I think that I would be quite good at being the one that was screwed over because I think I could be like, no, because I went to the car wash and I said that I was. wanted it and he said no. I trusted him.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Yeah. Yeah. I think I'd be good at that. Okay. So what would ask? Like, I don't think that you'd be good at hamming up like how bad it was. Mm. And so say it was the car wash.
Starting point is 00:04:25 You own the car wash. Sure. I've come to get my car washed. Mm-hmm. I've said you wash it. I'll pay later. Yep. And I don't pay.
Starting point is 00:04:33 Yeah. And I go, he came in and I've got kids to feed. And he came in and he said he was going to pay me later. And I thought, well, he's a good upstanding. citizen, you'll come back and he didn't. And I can't pay Charles anymore. What my defence be?
Starting point is 00:04:50 Your Honour. You needed to shit. Look at those rims. Is that worth the money she was charging? So you come back because they like that and you got the photo. You go look at my dirty-ass car. Actually, I would finger the dirty rims and go look at this. And walk into the court with my dirty finger and go, look at the dust on my pointer.
Starting point is 00:05:10 Well, before you do that, you have to say, may I approach? May I approach you with my finger, Your Honor. Your Honor, may I finger you? And she goes, of course. And I go, oh, the evidence. She goes, oh. And she goes, baloney. That's what Judge Judy always says.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Did she? Like, when she's like, fuck off. She's like, that's baloney. That's what she always says. Did she say that on her $400 million yacht or not on it? That was on the show, paying for the yacht. Gotcha. Good for her.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Honestly. Like. She was the highest paid person in television in the whole world for like a decade. I believe it. Can we Google judge Judy's net worth? Place your bet. What did you just say her fucking yacht's worth? I made up 400 million.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Okay. But I'm going to back that in. I'm going to say she's worth $800 million. No, that's crazy. I'm going to say, I'm going to say 100 million because that is still bananas. Imagine that being the conservative guess. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:06:06 Well, I know it's not 10. No, but as in like, as if like, oh, I'll take it easy. Just 100 mil. Just 100. Charles put it on the screen. Okay, it is a Facebook comment, but it is what a lot of articles are saying. 440 million is her net worth. Judge Judy has an estimated net worth of 440.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Are we really going off of Facebook? And who the fuck is Rick Regan? Yeah, Charles, we've got editorial standards on this podcast and you are not obliging. Don't you just Google net worth and then that fake number comes up? That's the fake number we want. And it says 440 to 480. Show us. You're lying.
Starting point is 00:06:38 Oh, it is. 47 million a year during the peak of her 25 year run. 47. She sold the rights to the back catalog for 100 million. Hang on. So she, her net worth apparently is 400 million. And she bought a boat worth 400 million. No, you said he made that up.
Starting point is 00:07:02 No, but back there it said she's got a 350. Okay. She's got 400 million. Okay. And she spends 350 on one boat. She's a lawyer, not a financial advisor. And she goes, oh, I still got 50 left over for everything else. It's Judge Judy, not money duty.
Starting point is 00:07:16 So true. She needs to call... Oh, who's a financial advisor? Dave Ramsey. Scott Pape. Sorry, I do lie, actually. Oh, for fuck sake. E. News report that the boat is actually worth $6.9 million.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Well, that feels more right. Is her boat just an empty Coke bottle floating in a pub? 6.9, like grow up, you know what I mean? I don't even get out of bed for that. You know, on Wolf of Wall Street where they're like, they, um, the agents like come onto the boat. Yeah. And he's like, it's a pretty nice boat.
Starting point is 00:07:53 And he's like, get the fuck off my boat. And he forwards him with the lobsters. I'm imagining Judge Judy. She's like running her out with the lobsters like that. It's crazy that something can be a weapon and something you'd put in a role. name something else besides lobsters that could be a weapon and eaten inside of a roll.
Starting point is 00:08:14 I like that. Beef. Because a cow could take a person down. True. But a roast beef and gravy roll could fuck me in the ass and make me pregnant. Yep.
Starting point is 00:08:28 I've got an eye you dead. That makes it worse. That makes it worse. Even less likely. What do you reckon? Kangaroo would kick you in the and a kangaroo steak is chewy but good
Starting point is 00:08:48 I think prepared well it's not chew I think it's chewy when you like buy it from Woolworths and then do it in your nonstick pan you know what I mean you've read me like a fucking book there oh well the time when I bought it from releasing cooked it on a nonstick pan and let me ask if I could add one more
Starting point is 00:09:06 very important detail was the kangaroo full price? It fucking wasn't, was it? It was quick sale. You bought it. You bought it quicksile kangaroo. And he cooked it in your fucking nonstick pan. Oh, you're joking.
Starting point is 00:09:26 I destroyed that pan in a sharehouse in Mildura. And they go, how'd you done that? And I went, I put kangaroo on it. Yeah. So it was a great price bar. I went into, I went into Coles at, in Mildura.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Yeah. It closed at seven and it was 10 to 7. It wasn't a time sensitive decision. It was a sausages, chops, fuck. Half-priced rue. That doesn't come around that often.
Starting point is 00:09:52 Yeah. It's a gourmet meat. It is. It's a premium cut. Yeah. And it's half price. Premium what? It's half price.
Starting point is 00:10:00 How hard could that be to cook next to a coleslaw that I'm going to make, make by getting out of the tub down the aisle because it's been pre-made at Coles. Yes. I used to do that, you know. Barbecue sauce, not good with kangaroo. A plum, maybe.
Starting point is 00:10:17 As you know, I'm not a big barbecue sauce girl anyway. Because you know how the weather's like gotten a little bit good recently? Like it's been a bit sunnier. I did a BB quat at home the other night. Talk to me. And I did some pork chops. But I also like marinate. some chicken for 24 hours.
Starting point is 00:10:38 It's like I made a marinade from scratch. I put all the like the chicken fly in there. And then I was like, that'll be great tomorrow night. And that was very good. And then I made... I've never cooked dinner where at 3 p.m. Stop it right there.
Starting point is 00:10:55 Yeah. Where at 3pm that day I knew what I was cooking for dinner. Yeah. And the fact that you've got the foresight to think about tomorrow night's dinner and just deliver platyms. experience is in Reservoir. Thank you. He's amazing.
Starting point is 00:11:08 Well, because I do our food shop on a Saturday normally. Yep. So I look at, like, on a Saturday morning, I'll like look at the weather and be like, oh, it's a rainy day. We'll probably want something nice and like cuddly. Oh, it's going to be a warm night. We probably want like a barbecue or something lighter or whatever. Like, that's normally what I'm thinking about when I do the food list.
Starting point is 00:11:30 I've got a business idea. And by me having an idea, I mean, Tony's just said it. Yep. in thermomix. Yeah. The machine looks at the weather and then makes recommendations based on the, oh, it's going to be a bit cooler. Why not this stew or this warm curry? Yeah, that's a very good idea.
Starting point is 00:11:51 You take care of a salad. You put some chicken in here. I'll dice it and slice it and slice and we'll have a nice little chicken salad thing going on there. That's a really good idea. How have they not done that so far? Or even just an app that's like it knows the weather and it knows recipes and it just matches them up. in your area. Yes.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Well, because it is location specific. Location specific. But yes, I did that. And then I also made a potato salad from scratch. Yeah. With like bacon and boiled egg and stuff. So when you say from scratch, you mean you went to Woolworth in Preston.
Starting point is 00:12:22 I did. I don't have to pay for parking if you don't stay for longer than 90 minutes. You go in there and you get the container of potato salad. Mm-hmm. And then you take that home. Yeah, no. So I drove in my black Audi A3. Oh, do you know what?
Starting point is 00:12:42 I think that my prepaid, what's it called? IUD. No. I've just shifted. I'm pregnant. It's just expired. No, my prepaid services from when I bought my car, I think, have expired. So I'm like, oh, I need a new car.
Starting point is 00:13:01 Oh, like all the built-in service and stuff. Oh, just leave it at Preston. Like, do you know what I mean? It's getting to the point now where I'm like, oh, don't even bother? Like, anyway, no. Can I just show you how the luxurious life of Tony Lodge just gifts outies when they're out of date? She makes potato salad from scratch and marinate's chicken 24 hours in advance. What else is there?
Starting point is 00:13:29 Thank you so much for saying that. What else is there? So I drove my car to the wall. words and I bought like a fucking spud from the ground. Three. And then I washed them at home and I peeled them and then I boiled them and then I made a French dressing from scratch, shook it in a little jar and doused the hot potatoes in that for a couple of hours.
Starting point is 00:13:52 And then I made like, it's like sour cream, a little bit of Greek yogurt, a little bit of mayonnaise and then I fried off some bacon. I boiled some eggs and I put mix out all the way through after it had been just soaking in the French dressing for a few hours. And then when we were ready to eat it, I chopped up heaps of spring onion and I mixed that through as well. I won't be able to stand for a bit.
Starting point is 00:14:20 Thank you for saying that. Because I needed that today. These pants are a light colour. They are. They are thin. And if I stood up, you would see a throbbing erection. Thank you for saying that. I did need that.
Starting point is 00:14:36 that today. I just love it. It's so fun. You know how food is just basically craft? Cooking is food craft. So true. And I'm just love it. How much did you cook? How much potato salt was there? I just did three potatoes because it's just for Torbs and I, but there's still some in the fridge. Did you get a call, Charles? I didn't. Sorry. Service not working? Just checking if I've got some miscaration. Maybe it was, Telstra was down. They haven't been recently. Oh, yeah. Oh, well, I don't listen to kiss so I wouldn't know. Telstra had been down. You are living Lovita Loka.
Starting point is 00:15:13 Thank you so much. Yeah, and I love it. It's so fun. And then I cooked the chicken on the barbecue, like skewed it, put on the barbecue. It's really good. Do you want to see a picture of the chicken? Lily and I went to an event.
Starting point is 00:15:23 I do, but Lily and I went to an event the other night and they had, it was like standing nibbles, but they had like chicken on the... Like a little kebab? Yeah, but like holding a plate and having chicken on the stick while you're standing and talking to someone. chatting to people you don't really know.
Starting point is 00:15:40 Yeah. Like I think that ass, fine. But like random people that you kind of like trying to chat with and... Can I tell you something disgusting? That looks amazing. So that's me chuky. And the marinade that I made for the chicken is that I had in my mind a memory of a chicken my mom used to make. And I've tried to replicate it for the past couple of years and that I finally got it right.
Starting point is 00:16:05 Congratulations. Thank you. Now I'm going to say something Please Then we're all just going to let that sit And then maybe go to the break Because what else can we say After I'm so hungry
Starting point is 00:16:14 Sorry we've been talking about so much barbecue Lay it on me big dog I'm looking in your eyes Lily is holding a plate of food And in the other hand Has like a fork And sort of trying to hold a skewer Or maybe she avoided the skewer
Starting point is 00:16:26 Like there was a lot happening Paper plate Paper plate Because you know when you're at a barbecue And it starts to sink in the middle Because you've got your coleslaw And you whatever Josh Garlop
Starting point is 00:16:36 from Kick It Forward fame. Western Australia represent. He comes over. I hosted Josh for his work experience. Did you? Yeah, he was a work experience kid at the radio station and I worked there. Well, he looks up to you, which is a crazy sentence because he's seven foot tall and you're five foot two. So imagine he rocks up also with a paper plate and a skewer.
Starting point is 00:16:59 Humbly. And I go, Josh, hey, good to see, mate. This is Lil. And they decide to try and shake hands. because they've just met each other. But they're all double parked like this. She's got a paper plate and cutlery. He's got a paper plate and a cabb and they almost...
Starting point is 00:17:14 Do you cheers your kebab at that point? You should not because they ended up, they figured out they both had a spare pinky finger. So whilst he's holding the kebab stick, he puts his little finger out and Lilac grabs it and shakes it for a little bit. How long did you shake it for? I don't know. I got in the car and drove home as soon as I saw that.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Hi. from Winfair Canada currently in Cabo Hi, I'm Tammy Mayan Hi, I'm Annabelle from Dubbo New South Wales, Australia and you're listening to Tony and Ryan. We just had someone risked their life for art.
Starting point is 00:18:00 So during that little half second break we decided to order food then we started dooms scrolling and then we're like, fuck. Have we not finished that episode? So we've been about 45 minutes. Yeah, shit, sorry. Sorry if there's been a lot of ads playing during that time.
Starting point is 00:18:14 Yeah, we've crammed in 73 million ads because someone needs to buy a boat. Because we decided we wouldn't be like judge duty. I'm real. Well, not that matters. You don't know that. Do you know what it feels would be like in interstellar how like on their planet it's a minute? But at home it's been 84 years. That's what it feels like for us.
Starting point is 00:18:36 That was Titanic. No, I know. but like it's been on interstellar like their planet. Yeah. It's been five minutes. But at home, like the little girl is like fully grown up. Yeah, I completely got that.
Starting point is 00:18:48 Yeah. And then you've thrown me right out and I'm like cool interstellar. And now I'm on a sinking ship. Because it's like, it's like Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It's like meme culture. You're so true. Do you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:19:01 And like the old woman thing that's like part of that. That's okay. Anyway, a massive shout up to a few of our champion tapers. who've been very patient during that break and very patient during me explaining meme culture. Sophie Van der Stratton. Thank you, Sophie. She'd be Van der Stratton down the street.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Van der Stratton. La la la la la la. Kiwi Queen X-O. Love you, Kiwi Queen. Moritz, Hurstman. Thanks, Moritz. Jazz, Alice Hurd. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Aaron Earn whatever. You can earn $44 million. $44 million. Umashley, Chelsea, Joshua Boulay and Celia Nethercett. Thank you very much being part of it. You just swallow a yawn. I saw it in your face. You just yawned with your mouth and I saw it live.
Starting point is 00:19:48 I've seen none. It was the fucking break. You just had not enough. Yeah, but I was like, I should you? I need to yorn. And then I went, no. How disrespectful to the champion taff is that I'm just going to yawn. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:00 And then. You still did. No, I caught it. I haven't known. I caught it. No, you still yawned with your mouth closed. That's still yorn. I caught it.
Starting point is 00:20:08 You know what I don't like? People that, like, do the thing where they don't sneeze. Oh, hang on a stick. I fucking hate that so much. Nothing makes me madder than that. Yeah. Torps used to do it and I was like, I can't be with you. Now he does a loud sneeze.
Starting point is 00:20:25 I'm like, yes, let it out. I know sneezing isn't great, but it's way better than whatever the fuck you call that. Doing it. That makes me, that is, that is Icktown. That is Icktown. And as someone who has recently literally shat themselves a few times, that is just asking for it. Because the pressure needs to get out somewhere.
Starting point is 00:20:45 Honestly. And if it doesn't come out here, guess what other orifices are available? Don't point you to your cock. What are you going to do? Under. Through. That moment of the real was quite poetic.
Starting point is 00:20:57 People really like that in that video. But I couldn't, I was about to do a hot take, but this is maybe even hotter because that is fucking, The worst thing that... Like, I could not agree with you more. I hate that. Overhearing someone do a half sneeze, I'm like, get out.
Starting point is 00:21:14 If we're on a plane, open the door. Push him out. Send him to the fucking high heavens. Tell me what the outside of the plane looks like. Your best line ever. Because you've already torn the house down agreeing with a hot take. Yeah, I cannot do any better than that fucking sneezing. And you know what?
Starting point is 00:21:30 Let's give it up for Charles very quickly because he did almost die. Hang on. You don't even know. Are you clapping for you? bitch. He did almost die getting the hot take stuff before. So we'll get it again next week. Great.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Males who have female best friends. Do we know any of those? According to a peer-reviewed psychological research study. Great. A happier, more honest and less annoying to be around. Men disclose personal problems feelings more with female friends than they do with male friends. That brings out an honesty. And while it's tough to bring up,
Starting point is 00:22:09 we all know that feeling of relief when you've shared a problem and whatnot. Totally. Men tend to be less competitive in friendships with women than they are with men. Excessive competitiveness can strain relationships. Yeah. Well, because I reckon like when you're friends with people
Starting point is 00:22:27 that are the same gender, same age, you're like, oh, it's easy to compare with exactly where you're at in life. Yeah, where I don't need to compete with Tony about who's the best at sucking dick. Because he's best. Because we got a gob queen. Because we both asked Charles and he said. So am I happy?
Starting point is 00:22:46 I think so. Am I? Is this a loaded fucking question? Am I genuinely pretty honest? Yes. Am I not annoying to be around? No. No, but do you know what?
Starting point is 00:23:04 The poor said so much. Diplomatic Tony Louise Lodge. No, you aren't. because I reckon there's a difference between like being annoying in a way that you're like, I cannot stand to be around this person, but being annoying in the way that you're like, that's so then. Like,
Starting point is 00:23:22 is that better? Like, they're not being annoying. That's just who they are. You know how like, but yeah, but in a way that you're like, love them turtles.
Starting point is 00:23:32 But you know when some people are annoying and you're like, if you don't get away from me, I'm going to fucking flip my tits off. Yeah. And we've done a lot of long haul. travel or stints or stay together and it's usually pretty good. And as we've gotten closer in friendship, that stuff has mattered less. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Like us, if we have a bit of a fucking skrink, it's actually fine pretty much straight away. Whereas back in the day when we didn't know each other that well, a skrink would last a couple of days. I've never heard the term skrink and I couldn't agree with its meaning more. Like just a little skrink, you know? Only 11% of people have a best friend of the opposite gender. Really? Yeah. 11%.
Starting point is 00:24:18 That is very, I would have thought it would be way higher than that. Yeah, although you, I don't know if they agree with best friend being a tier or a literal number one. So asterisk on the research study, we'll have to update them on the new findings. Girlfriends get jealous when their boyfriends have a close female friend. Yeah, that's true. But it's not why you think. Psychologist found that the girlfriends aren't scared he's going to finger her. The girlfriend is scared and jealous that they are sharing and honest with each other
Starting point is 00:24:52 and create a deeper bond with the best friend. The emotional connection. Yeah. And they get jealous. They're like, oh my God, she's closer with him than I am. Yeah. And again, you more closely compare them because you're like, well, I'm a girl. And so is she and my, is my partner closer with another girl that.
Starting point is 00:25:09 isn't his girlfriend or wife or whatever. But the thing about my life with my wife Bridgett, with my wife Bridget and my best friend Tony Lodge, Tony and I do have a deep bond, but I also do actually finger her. And we've found a way to make it work. Well, I've got a question, and this isn't really for comedy.
Starting point is 00:25:30 This is actually a bit of a genuine question. So we can edit it out if it's not interesting. Genuine question. But you also, like, for you, best friend is a tier. Like, because you've picked up lots of great mates. through your travels and like you've worked lots of different jobs and stuff like that. Do you feel like your female friendships feel different to your male friendships? Not really.
Starting point is 00:25:50 Like, so I wonder. My school was weird though. I thought it was hell normal. But like my school there was like a group of friends was like 20 people and they were guys and girls. But I speak to other people and they're like, oh, there was like the guys and there was like the girls. And then like sometimes at parties you'd all be there. But it was still like. That was probably more close.
Starting point is 00:26:09 to my experience. And even when I finished school, like I had my like couple of best friends. And it was there was boys and girls in the group. Like the girls would do stuff and the boys would do stuff. And it. Yeah, all meet up later.
Starting point is 00:26:22 And having like a boy best friend was like, oh. Do you know? One night we did have a boys night in year 11 or 12. And all of the friends you group were just like, what the, like the girls were like, are you sucking each other off?
Starting point is 00:26:36 Like what are you doing? Like they were just like, what were you doing? Yeah. Like, it's so weird to have a boys night. Like, it just seemed like the strangest thing ever. And because a friendship's just different based more on the person than their, like, and I'm not, like, not a gender issue, but like, you and Tim and Torbs.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Yep. And Charles. You know, like, four people I spend a lot of time with, right? All very different relationships. Yeah. Like, I get really different stuff out of all four people. Because Tim's gay and you don't hook up with him. But the rest of you are fucking me.
Starting point is 00:27:13 Yeah. Yeah. Luckily, I got three orifices. Charles, which is your preferred hole? Don't answer that. Just don't. Imagine if we both had the same answer. I'm like, fuck.
Starting point is 00:27:25 Yeah. I thought it was being original. No wonder. Thought that was my one. Hey, you said that was mine. I, um, I'm really shocked to hear it's only 11% people have. a friend, our best friend that is opposite sex. I would have thought that'd be way higher.
Starting point is 00:27:43 89% of the population are missing out. 69. Sorry. It was 89. I love you. Do you? Do you? I love you too.
Starting point is 00:27:56 I do. I love you too. I feel like we do have a really good friendship. And would you say that Bridget is jealous? Like we are the perfect example of this story. Well, there are often. often there are often comments on our reels and stuff so I consider that like less likely to be tarpers there may be people that have like just come across us haven't listened to the pod
Starting point is 00:28:17 don't know us that well yet or whatever that are like oh are they together surely their partners aren't okay with this it was it yeah like we go through phases if like a video goes quite big or whatever yeah and people like oh they all right with that and I'm like oh but that's how I would talk to any of my like we yeah don't know if that makes it I don't either but like it's not as if
Starting point is 00:28:40 I'm not just fucking him I'm fucking him but like it's not as if I met Torbs and I wasn't didn't have this sense of humor and then I met you that would be fucked
Starting point is 00:28:50 yeah that would be super weird I remember I've never seen someone put in more of a tough position to answer a question is when someone was like
Starting point is 00:29:01 Bridget are you okay with it and I think we're all around like said it to Bridgett? Yeah. Yep. And then she was like,
Starting point is 00:29:09 if I say it's so fine, you're like, oh, what, like, why what's wrong with me? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:16 Not intimidated about me. That's fine. But like, but if you go like, no, I don't like it, then it's like, oh,
Starting point is 00:29:21 is there trouble here? Are you scared about that? And she goes, no, I like, for both of you, couldn't care less. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Like, should be a little bit, yeah. Oh, oh, could you care a little bit. Yeah, you know?
Starting point is 00:29:31 Yeah. No, I do, I do totally not you mean. But I reckon like you and Bridge super secure in your relationship, Torbs and I super secure in our relationship. So I feel like there isn't, there's never been a time where I've been like,
Starting point is 00:29:45 oh, maybe we should rein that in. Yeah, never. Like you and Bridges, she's never been like, oh, that made me upset or whatever. Like the only thing she gets upset about was not even upset. She just goes, when you shit yourself, can you just not tell everyone? because then and you go no otherwise I would never say anything ever again
Starting point is 00:30:05 then we're at the Altham farmers market and someone comes up and she goes oh is that a friend from high school and they go oh hey mate I'm a type I heard you shout yourself again how you going and I go yeah hey did you want a photo or this is bridge this is Mabel yeah Mabel goes why's that guy chatting to dad about shitting does he know about it does he know about everyone knows maybe home in the other morning and said did you poo last night dad oh what a babe yeah she's like no did you You. It's to change your naffies every morning.
Starting point is 00:30:34 Yeah. No, she climbed into bed and I said I had a sore tummy. Oh. And she put her head on my chest, like laying like next to me and then like rubbed my belly. She's like so caring and empathy. She's very caring. I'm like, dad's got a bit of a sore tummy. And then I put her head there and rub my tummy.
Starting point is 00:30:49 And I was like, it's really cute. Probably not going to help. Yeah. The pressure on the stomach is not good. And you're also between me and the bathroom, which if shit goes wrong, which you're probably would. You're going to fly out the window. No.
Starting point is 00:30:59 Yeah. Like, you know, have you seen those things where they're sitting on like that blob in the... Where is this going? They're sitting on that blob in the river. And then two people jump on the blob and it shoots them into the sky. I was like, if you're in between me and the toilet, you could be that thing shooting into the... Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Yeah. So, best friends. Best friends and really happy about it. Thank you. Yeah. Thank you. What do you love to see, Tony Lodge? I've got you love to see here from Roe C.
Starting point is 00:31:23 They sent this on Patreon. Hi, guys. Wanted to share my love to see it because I'm really, really, really, proud of myself today. First of all, fuck yeah. I love to see that. As a sentence,
Starting point is 00:31:33 I'm proud of myself. Oh, Year of Smug. Nice one. After I turned 30, I decided I wanted to finally get my degree after failing out at 18.
Starting point is 00:31:43 I'm doing creative writing and just found out I passed second year with really good grades while working and looking after two chaotic kids. I don't know how I did it, but I love to see it.
Starting point is 00:31:55 The thought of doing anything with two kids is insane. The thought of having two kids. Yeah, just like. Stop me right there. Oh, and then I worked. Oh, and then I went to.
Starting point is 00:32:06 I know. Crazy. Charles is enough for us to do you. We are one and done. One done. Well done. We're proud of you too. And not just today, every day.
Starting point is 00:32:17 Roe seat like fucking. Yeah. I love to Roe say it. Like Rose A. Good marks at school, but that sounds like a drink now. Yeah. Rose A with my Rose A. Oh.
Starting point is 00:32:29 My love to see it, and I'm guessing you may have seen it in the Facebook group, because it's the greatest fucking thing I've ever seen. But after we did that video about most satisfying things, and I had declared my love for water pressure cleaners, have you seen this? No. This is a tarpa. Oh, crocs. Oh, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:53 Oh, shit. No pressure to get the spelling right. They are pressure washing the words tarpa for life. into their driveway and spelling life L. Oh, no, they've gone. Oh, new school, okay. Oh. Oh.
Starting point is 00:33:22 Oh, that is good. How are they pressure washing that at the end? And the stuff's not coming off. Insert Tony's moan here. Fuck yeah, that's awesome. Madeline Duncan. From across the pond. Good on you, Dunny.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Love to see it. I actually did love to say that. That is amazing. I fucking love that. Huge. The tap was the best day. I've got some more good news. What?
Starting point is 00:33:51 Is it what I can smell? Schnitz has arrived. Fuck yeah. Love you, bitch. Love you, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye.
