Starting point is 00:00:00 Newspapers, they're getting small. They're getting real thin. And you take out that Harvey Norman fucking pullout and there's nothing left. There's a fucking health section and it's eight pages and seven and a half pages are a chemist warehouse catalog. They're getting tuned. Hi, I'm Jessica from Grand Prairie Alberta, Canada. Hi, I'm Arlie from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hi, I'm Somalia from Chicago, USA.
Starting point is 00:00:21 And I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. My name is Ryan. This is Dr. Arthur, Tony Lloyd. Lots up. We got normal or not coming up, which is lots of people sending through their normal or nars. You can do that in the Tony and Ryan Facebook group.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Sorry, I did have something that I was going to say, but I've just had a flashback that I had a dream last night that I was hooking up with Dr. House. You know, like House MD. Yeah. That TV show, that grumpy guy. Hugh Laurie, yes.
Starting point is 00:01:00 How was he? Is he a gentle lover? He was. He was. He was he? Why? Have you been watching for the house recently? No, actually.
Starting point is 00:01:07 but I was house-sitting for Trixie Mattel because I just watched her house tour on her YouTube the other day because Charles sent me a different house tour and I was like, I love house tours and then I watched hers and I was... Shut the fuck up. I've been sending you house tours for years. Yeah, and I always watched them. And then he sends you one.
Starting point is 00:01:26 I always watch them. Oh, Charles sent me one. Oh, isn't it great when people send you a house tours and you watch it? How dare you? I always watch them because literally last week on the pod we talked about Andy Cohen's fucking house. tour that we'd both watched. That was just a coincidence. I always watch those ADs.
Starting point is 00:01:43 And normally if you go, new AD, I go, I know I already watched it. How good is it? Okay. Yeah. But the first one that you and I,
Starting point is 00:01:49 I didn't even know what architectural digest was until we watched that binging with Babish one. Yes. Where is he? Is he still around? I don't know. I haven't seen. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:01:58 I don't know. I haven't seen him in a while. All right. No, don't ask questions you don't want the answer to. Can you just look up? Still. He's still cooking?
Starting point is 00:02:05 Yeah. I uploaded a video a few days ago. So? Is his channel still slain? Yes. 100 million years. Oh, shit. He's so good.
Starting point is 00:02:13 He is really good. He's got his face in it now more. He's to kind of hide his face a fair bit. Yeah. Have you ever watched his videos, Charles? So his like schick in the beginning and it still kind of is, is that he'd be like, I've recreated the food from X cartoon. So it would be like the really cheesy pizza from 10 engine Ninja Turtles or the huge crazy burger from Frames or.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Right a two he sucks, so I fixed it. Like, so he used to do like his interpretations, but then he did like basics with Babish. And he would like actually teach people how to cook. And he's got, you should watch his AD. It is unbelievable. It's like he's got this like four story thing in fucking New York City. I'll stop you right there. Six levels.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Because four of them are his house. But the two basement levels are two different studio levels where he filmed. So he's got all these are different kind of kitchens to film in. So he's got full kitchen setups. in his fucking 70 floor. It's unique. Yeah, Charles,
Starting point is 00:03:11 it's not for right now, but you need to watch it. Should we pivot into the food game? I thought you'd never ask. I could make videos with my thermomix every day. I thought about this, but then it would be so boring because they're so easy to use. Hi,
Starting point is 00:03:25 guys, welcome to the video. I've pressed go and here it is. Here's a pie. Guess what we were there last night? We doing a lot of work there. Our first batch of overnight yogurt. And this morning we had, we had two cards with our regular yogh yogurt and then she, like the labna.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. The thingy. So I dare say tonight is going to be a treat. Yum. I've never made yogurt. I should in my thermi. You should. So what you do is you push the yogurt button and then you just let it do it.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yeah. I think the thing that really like I find pointless about making yogurt is that you need yogurt to make yogurt. So I'm like, just buy, you've bought the yogurt already. well it's like sourdough you need sourdough need this
Starting point is 00:04:12 need the start I need starter from Bridget actually I've got a text her mine's fucked I think ours is fucked too maybe we have to go back to the OG source of Auntie Linda yeah yeah because mine had mould on it the other day
Starting point is 00:04:23 and I was like fuck you don't have to throw this out I'll tell you know it's good and it gets real good nah that's when you need to actually throw it out anyway yes I fucked Hugh Laurie house MD in Trixie Matel's spare room
Starting point is 00:04:34 hot and he was quite a gentle lover yeah like some kisses yeah little smoochies um why has he lorry been in your life i don't know he i don't know where he came from is it just his mystique character in that show it's just very like confident and suave and cool and do you think he's cool i think he's nasty i find him like so unlikable like a real bit jerky yeah but is it that kind of jerky that you just sour but that you're like annoyingly drawn to I mean, you're the guy that fucked him. Why am I asking, why are you asking me? Yeah, no, but because Torbs loves the show house.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Oh, he would. Like, yeah, of course. It's not that surprising. But, and we've watched it before. And we got up to, and I'm not going to do any spoilers. He dies at the end. No, no, no, no. I actually, we got up to a point and I was like, I cannot watch that anymore.
Starting point is 00:05:27 It is heartbreaking. Mm. We got, for anybody, any time that I've watched it, we got up to Amber on the bus. And you'll know what that means. Is she from the magic school bus? No, that's her. Oh, she's still having a good time.
Starting point is 00:05:43 Let us know on the comments also. Yeah, are we supposed to like his character or not? I don't. But I watched up to there and I got so depressed from watching it that I was like, I actually can't do this to myself. Really? Yeah. I thought it was just like a bit of a quirky medical.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I didn't realize it was. It's really heavy. Really? I think in the beginning, like episode to episode, every episode is the same. because it's like a new case like kid comes in they think it's menager cockle it isn't he's got the brainworm like you know that's every episode of house truly that's every episode of house white woman watches tv show that is every episode of house yeah come at me if you don't agree that is true but laura nautis thought of the same yeah it's clearly that guy oh it turns out
Starting point is 00:06:33 or someone else. Same with Supernatural. They think it's this. And then, oh, no, they found this other thing and it's that. And then the next episode's exactly the same. Like, because that's just what TV was back then. Because we watched it week to week. So it didn't matter that every episode was the same.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah. But now that we binge watch TV, it's, you can't do, you don't get away with it. What's the show with the girl who solves the things? Ghost Whisperer. No. Medium. Poker face. Lady Gaga.
Starting point is 00:07:00 No, she's got red hair. and you know the crime in advance every time. She solves the orange hair. Oh, poker. Oh, it's called poker face. Oh, sorry. I thought you were trying to describe the things. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Yeah, I've watched that. I watched that on a plane. I remember. And it's, yeah, it's designed for once a week. But when you watch four in a row, you go, it's just the same show. Am I glitch in the Matrix? Like, am I?
Starting point is 00:07:29 But that show came out in 2020. So they should know better. They should. It's amazing though. The first episode is sick. The first episode's great, but then all the episodes are the same and it's a bit boring. But I also love, I love Natasha Leon. I think she's so great.
Starting point is 00:07:45 Yeah. That chick. But, you know, lots of shows like that. But then House, they kind of, their seasons get more of an arc. So you kind of like, whilst the episodes are similar, there's other things kind of popping along. You know what wouldn't surprise me? if we one day just found out that Natasha Leon hooked up with Hugh Laurie totally you'd kind of go oh yeah they're kind of both like bad asses yeah yeah like I could
Starting point is 00:08:11 see that it's crazy that Hugh Laurie is house but then he is also like one of the bad guys in the live action 101 Dalmatians with Glenn Closan it's also crazy that Hugh Laurie is not Billy Bob Thornton who's that Hugh Laurie who's Billy Bob Thornton Show me. Billy Bob Thornton. You do really not know of Billy Bob Thornton. No, who's that? Is that Tommy Lee? No, you're thinking of Tommy Lee.
Starting point is 00:08:39 He looks a bit like Tommy Lee. Who's Billy Bob Thornton? What's he in? Oh, like so much stuff. And there's also the ex-husband of Angelina Jolie. Really? Yeah. Oh, I thought that she'd only be married to Brad Pitt. Oh, maybe they weren't married.
Starting point is 00:08:54 But they had sex in the limo on the way to like the Oscars and they got out of the car and he'd just like, Can you type in, Billy Bob Thornton, Angelina Jolly, red carpet? And prepare to be grossed the fuck out. What's the most exciting thing you guys have ever done in a car individually or together? I think it was today. My favorite one in a car was today. No, just before we got here.
Starting point is 00:09:20 What is this? MTV? I'm sorry. Okay. Well, you want me to be honest with you? We've f***ed in the car on the way here. Yeah. And it was the most exciting thing. Yeah, every time it is.
Starting point is 00:09:38 What a moment in time that was. When was that? 2000. 2000. That happened before Charles was born. Maybe you got pregnant that night. That's when you were conceived. Is Angelina Jolie your mom?
Starting point is 00:09:52 Billy Bob Thornton looks a little bit like Torbs' dad. Can you bring him back up, please? Really? Yeah. I'm calling Torbs. I'm going to call him. I wonder if you'll answer What else would have you done?
Starting point is 00:10:15 He's at his job, I guess Oh, hey my love, sorry, are you busy? Hello? Are you, yeah, I'm so sorry, we're just recording the podcast Do you have one second? Yeah, of course. I've just seen a picture of Billy Bob Thornton. Do you know what Billy Bob Thornton looks like?
Starting point is 00:10:36 Yeah, fakely. Yeah, don't reckon he looks like your dad? Not really. Charles Charles is sending you a text right now with the picture that I'm looking at I reckon he looks just like your dad Angelina Jolie does not look like
Starting point is 00:10:52 Cheryl but Billy Bob Thornton looks like your dad hang on wait for the photo I'm waiting yeah sorry Charles takes a while you know inside how's your day going yeah fine miss you
Starting point is 00:11:04 has he ever slept with Angelina Jolie on the way to the MTV red carpet no just after words. Are you looking at the photo, dude? I am. Yeah, I don't think my dad would ever wear a hat like that, though.
Starting point is 00:11:22 Okay, it's not, it's not fucking, yeah, we're not sending up his fashion choices. Don't you reckon that he looks like your dad? I mean, it's like a seven out of ten resemblance, I reckon. Seven out of ten. That's pretty good. Oh, not really, just a 9.8 out of 10. If someone said I would 7.8 look like Angelina Jolie, I'd be like, well, I'm going to go home and masturbate all day.
Starting point is 00:11:44 Yeah, that'd be awesome news. I would too. Yeah. Okay, thanks. Thanks, Tobs. Yeah, no worries. Love you. Go, Hawks.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Love you, boys. Can I say something? Your husband's a fucking idiot. Can you stop banging shit up there? That wasn't me. That was the ghost again. I don't think it was. I don't think it was.
Starting point is 00:12:08 Hi, I'm Jessica from Grand Prairie Alberta, Canada. I'm Somalia from Chicago, USA. Hi, I'm Arlie from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And you're listening to Tony Ryan. A massive shout out to a few of our champion typists. I put out back to our Patreon. Billy Bob Thornton, huge fan of the podcast. Brianie Partington, good on you, Brianie.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Clayton Goggle, good on you Clayton. Love that. Crystal Zee Kofoos, good on your crystal. Emily, I love to see it, Emily, thank you. June backing back in C.B. June back in me car up into a car park. C.B. Craig Bruce. Shelby.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Shelby Thompson Yeah, Shelby coming You guys Mel Jameson, good on your Mel Shell cover and Damo Good on your Dameau Good on your Dameau Up see Damo
Starting point is 00:13:04 Yeah Go on your back Go on your back and get around At Bemo Um Normal honor This is normal honor This is normal honor
Starting point is 00:13:12 This is from Ugly Socialite 88 Beautiful It's Billy Bob Thornton Using three different razes in the shower I got one for my legs, one for my pits, and one for my bits. They vary in blade sizes.
Starting point is 00:13:29 They're different colours, so I don't mix them up. Is this normal behaviour or nah? Nah. That sounds like a lot of admin and a lot of effort. Just all in one. Yeah. Hair's hair, not anymore. It's gone.
Starting point is 00:13:44 No, I would, it's not even like, I'm like, oh, I don't fuck with that. I've never even thought about it. Yeah. Like you've just got one. It's your boss. But different shade, like blade lengths, do you need a... Oh yeah, what does that mean? Like, do you need a closer shave for the pits or like...
Starting point is 00:14:01 Oh, when you said length, I heard wits, I think. But you mean like a closer shave or a... Different blade sizes. I think that's what I meant. Yeah, no, that makes more sense. Because I guess if you were doing... You're getting a long handle out for the... That's how I'll do my back.
Starting point is 00:14:17 My squeegee. I guess like if you were doing... your pubs and you want it a long, like to let, because then you don't get ingrones. Like, but if you shave it super close, you normally get ingrown hairs. Yeah. So that does make sense. Yeah. But it sounds like a lot of that, man.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Yeah. Do you use like a disposable razor or do you have like a, like a z-z thing? I got a z-z thing. Yeah. Because that also feels different. Like you wouldn't have lots of different. Electric. Is it electric?
Starting point is 00:14:51 Well, I actually. do and I've got too many and Bridges like can you throw half of those fucking things out. Oh can I have one or take one for me pubs? What? You own a few pubs? No, like for me pews. I don't know. I don't have a zzz one. When you said for my pubs, I was like what for the Grand Imperial down the road? That's what I call it. Yeah, well, into the Grand Imperial. I've actually got heaps. You can check in, but you can never leave. But you can't check out. Like Hotel California. But you have different length. You clip like when you get a number one, number two, number three.
Starting point is 00:15:22 Like the, um, the, um, a clip on attachment. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, because if you're, because I'll like trim my chest and stuff, and that's a different length to when you like, you know, do another, or a skin. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Although should they be different areas? I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, the guy. Oh, but then you've got that real closey. Yeah. How much is that, Charles?
Starting point is 00:15:45 Oh, this one, the 119. Oh, if you want. I'll give you, I'll give you one. Do you have one that you haven't used? Yeah. It's like, like a few. Although one. Oh, because you did all that stuff for man.
Starting point is 00:15:54 A. Yeah. And I was going to say one's called the weed whacker. Like they're all named off different lawn mowers. I'll write that one. Yeah. And there's also one. The weiper snipper.
Starting point is 00:16:03 There's also one with a little light on it. So you don't nick your sack. That's their advertising. Can you type in man. Yeah, man-scape. What are like their names, Charles? It's called like the lawn mower. Yeah, the lawnmower 5.0.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Groin and body hair trim. God, they know their audience. That's great. Well, we have groins. Yeah. No, I love it. Oh, there's Ryan. Benjamin Franklin of Balls.
Starting point is 00:16:23 The Nicola Tesla of testicles, the Thomas Edison of Taint Tech, and now Manscaped has done it again with their latest innovation, the lawnmower 5.0 Ultra. Good for them. Manscape should advertise on our podcast. I think that would do pretty well. I will do a personal tutorial. No empty offers.
Starting point is 00:16:46 No empty offers. Lily. Well, because Torbs now has that thing, the bald head one. Yeah, because that's, you just kind of go around there. Would that work on my scrotum? I don't know if the skin is too sensitive though. All right. Like you pull a tie.
Starting point is 00:17:04 Oh yeah. I fucking drive to the next suburb. Yeah, stretch it right out and then I'll use that thing. That's what I'll be doing after. Sucking you all. Not before. No.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Can't get my mouth close enough. Yeah, the beard and dome bundle. Yeah. There's Torb's on that for Christmas. Well, but he already, not the manspect one, but he's got like the scene.
Starting point is 00:17:24 But it's good because every morning he just fucking zuzzle, zizzle, how you like? his bald head. I love it. I think it looks great. It does look great. Some guys look better than others with a bald head, but he's nailing it. I think at first it just took a bit for him to get used to, but now I'm like, what did you look like before? Does he do like a buff and polish? You know how you see the like, you know, real showing it up. No, but he does. So he'll do his head every day. Yeah. Which is like a foil kind of one. So it's like close. I think that's the ticket.
Starting point is 00:17:56 it's being intentional about the bald head. You don't, you can't let it just grow back a little bit. You've got to go for it. You know, who's let it grow back a bit? Who? My birth father, Joel. Has he? Oh, he looks good, Bolt.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I know. Tell him that. Oh, I will text him now. Actually, though, because. No, I love. Like me and the brothers a lot, we probably have to have a word of that. Because I reckon it's that you have to, one or the other. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:18 You've got to be to the skin. Yeah. Yeah. And so it's really good. But he has talked about how with skincare now. It's like, well, how far back do you go? I think to the top of the crack All the way back down the bottom
Starting point is 00:18:30 Like the reverse mulloch Uh Sophie J Hi Sophie J Normal or nah TV should come with two remotes as standard Because mine is always going fucking missing Cars come with two sets of keys Can't TVs double up
Starting point is 00:18:45 Or at least have an air tag built in so you can find it TVs are coming with two remotes As standard Normal or nah I've never thought about it But that is a great idea, normal. I lose mine every day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:59 Especially the newer ones are so little. They're small and skinny. Yeah. The one for the frame TV is small. That's the one that you've got. Make it four times the side. Because it falls down the crack of the couch. Do you know what you need to do?
Starting point is 00:19:10 You need to join it to like a hubcap, like when you use the toilet at a cafe. So true. And it's like attached to like a tapware lid or like a wooden spoon. Oh, me and Mabel played a fun game the other day. So I could not for the life of me find. my phone shocker i know yeah no that's okay um and it was on silent which did not help um but did you know fuck off charles you oh do you already know no so with apple products um
Starting point is 00:19:39 beep beep beep oh okay so you can just like type into google like find my iPhone and yeah and you click through the thing and even if it's on silent you can like make it make noise so i looked on the map because I was like, fuck, I'm, yeah. And then someone might be playing right now. And then, so I looked on the map because I'm like, did it fall out of my pocket at the park? Yeah, totally. And I was like, oh, it's in my house.
Starting point is 00:20:10 So I was like, maids, there's a crazy game you come in here. I'm going to push this button. She would have liked that. No, I'm going to push this button. And somewhere in the house, beeping's going to go off where dad's phone is. Yeah. And we have to run and find it real fast. Yeah, that's a fun game.
Starting point is 00:20:24 Yeah. And I was going to do it late at night because that's when I lost it. And then I was like, nah, because maybe it'll wake her up and like, you know, because I don't know where it is. Mabel was asleep. Yeah. Like the night before. Oh, I thought you were like, I was playing this game without.
Starting point is 00:20:40 The night before, I was like, oh, oh, no, because if it's loud and it's near her room, she went. So in the morning, I was like, let's play this game. Let's play this game. That's fun. And so we press it and it fucking goes off its head. And it was in Mabel's bed. And I was like, thank God.
Starting point is 00:20:56 Like when you'd put her to bed or whatever, it's like the daddy pocket. Oh my God. She's probably playing Candy Crush. Probably. She's probably up all night. Yeah. Yeah. She's probably on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:21:06 No wonder she found it real fast. Yeah. Oh, I found her. Don't know how it got in here. That's like when I've lost my credit card. Charles goes, oh, it might be here. I think I might have it. So what's that game called?
Starting point is 00:21:16 Find my. Find my iPhone. Yeah. But I could find Bridget's headphones. Yeah. Air tags. I could probably find those other. the headphones that I haven't seen for a few months. No, they're not Apple.
Starting point is 00:21:26 They're not Apple. Oh. No, the ones that I've been missing. The like ones that the little in ears ones. Oh, you've got AirPods missing. Yeah. Yeah, they make a noise. We're living in the future. Yeah. This is normal or not. This is from Lori Holding. All right. There's a sentence in this that sounds a bit fucked, but it's not meant to be a bit fucked. Um, and we're going to be mature. Okay. I'll try. Are we going to be mature, Tony? Yep. Charles, we're going to be mature? I'm going to be manure. He's fucking eight years old.
Starting point is 00:22:00 Did you say you're going to be manure? Well, come on. Let's go into this with the right mature attitude. Normal or nah, says Lori holding. Lori holding, my God. What did I just say? What did I just say? Normal or nah, writing S on your shampoo bottle and C on your conditioner bottle in big black
Starting point is 00:22:23 sharpie so you don't mix them up. I normally wear glasses but in the shower I'm fucking blind yeah tell me what are you like are you without your glasses
Starting point is 00:22:32 yeah I'm okay it's just it is harder to read like if something's small I probably don't have a and I was like oh of course you can't have your glasses on it's probably all steamy
Starting point is 00:22:42 yeah and the bottles all look to fucking they're the same brand they all look the same right so she's just like huge yet so yeah that makes sense at first I was like it's written on there but yeah yeah
Starting point is 00:22:52 now it's easy once I've shampooed my hair I just go grip that big black sea and it's all good she knew what she was doing there she knew what she was doing there probably solved she knew what she was doing there
Starting point is 00:23:20 writing on your shampoo and conditioner bottle so you don't mix them up in the shower normal or no um i don't do it but normal like i i i get it especially someone who wears glasses like if you were yeah so what you're saying is i can easily see the sea oh yeah oh it must be nice but i love esson on a sea sitting on a cow i was like oh let's just all use our imagine oh no there it is there it is there it is uh well thank you lori holding for holding that big black C. I got a lot to see it here from Tapa K.
Starting point is 00:23:58 Oh, Tony's going to be in a moment. Sorry, nah, that's okay. How are you doing, man? That's Tapa K. I'm great. I've had such a great day. Same. You know what I love?
Starting point is 00:24:09 Those blue socks. Thank you. It's a pop of colour. They go with the blue on my shoes, which I thought you would like. That's what I mean. I go, oh, she means business today. Yeah, thank you so much. She's business up top and party down below.
Starting point is 00:24:22 Yeah, I feel like it's just, fun. Yeah, you are fun. I'm fun in the sack. And you're trimming my stretched out sack with the hedged mower 4.0 in the future use the code TARP for 10% off. That's us. Have we already done it? An ad for manscaped. Yep. How the fuck did you find that child? Tapa K. Tapa K is a midwife and obviously some pregnancies are different. Well, they're all different, but some are, I guess, simple, some bit more complex. So she gets to like, real. know some families who might be, you know, a bit of trickier time.
Starting point is 00:24:56 I feel like you would get to know all of them, eh? Like you're in such a sensitive time of your life. Yeah, that's crazy. I was caring for this one couple and then our little one. They gave their baby my name as her middle name as an honour. Shut the fuck up. What an amazing honour says, Tapa K. Don't you love to see it?
Starting point is 00:25:20 That's great. Just sl like, yeah. Just absolutely slain. Oh, not. She actually knew that got a job. No, but first name. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 00:25:41 The kid's actual first name was special. Special. Or the interconvenience store. So the kid's first name is circle. Circle gay. The first name was Mary and the family's last name was Ait and Ashley. That's so funny. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:26:15 That has killed me. That is so beautiful. I've got a lot of set. This is from Millie Ashford and says, and says this is Millie from Forest of Dean in the UK. Have a couple of things to say. Firstly, chicken salt is life. She came to Melbourne 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Love chicken salt. Have a great day. Everyone else is there to say. Millie says, secondly, got home last night and as I was getting ready for bed, my partner asked if I wanted to listen to the recent Tony and Ryan episode. I said, listened but of course I'll listen again I don't mind that's nice Charles if
Starting point is 00:26:48 people watch as a couple can we get two views how's that well we've got three here because hang on to you fucking hey here we fucking go um Millie's partner said she said she already had listened as well oh and they said should we just pop it on again uncore and they watched it so they both watched it separately and then they watched it together and Millie said she's only just started um listening for the past week So Millie's been listening for years But her partner has only just started listening And he's like, oh yeah
Starting point is 00:27:17 Let's get let's get amongst it All right well if you knew here Don't be shocked when you hear a manscape rad next week And that's the first time It's the first time It's the first time It's not like we didn't You know, go back in time
Starting point is 00:27:28 That had already happened and we just forgot Yeah Yeah And that's okay But Millie and her partner Millie, love to see it It's like thanks for the three listens That's amazing
Starting point is 00:27:39 I'd say that's actually four listens How do we start splitting out those? Yeah, how's that work? Did you know newspapers? Industry chat. I do know this, but it's a very good fact. Every newspaper that's printed, the newspaper counts it as four readers. Not even one.
Starting point is 00:27:55 And did you know that radio is nothing? Here we go. How many people listen lots? Can you name one of them? No. We just say that. I don't think I've ever bought a newspaper to read it. Like, I think of, I think of it.
Starting point is 00:28:10 I only ever bought it to like wrap things up to move house. We just buy it to start the fire. Yeah. Like, I'm not, like it's just the perfect texture paper to do that. That's really embarrassing. What?
Starting point is 00:28:22 When I go to the servo and I go, can I get a paper? And he goes, which one? And I go, whatever's the cost, which has got more pages. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:32 What's the best bang for my buck pages wise? The age is four bucks and it's 48 pages. And the herald son's 350 and you get 37. And I go, what's that per page? What I'll say? Is that news? newspapers, they're getting small.
Starting point is 00:28:43 They're getting real thin. They're getting thin. And you take out the Harvey Norman fucking pull out and there's nothing left. Pull me off in a Harvey Norman, nothing left. Did you know what I saw in real fucking life the other day? I'm the first person that's ever seen this in the fucking wild. I'm going to say it with you. I'm going to say it with you.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Three, two, one. Harvey Norman OB. No. Oh. I saw in Perth the other day, Mixed 94.5 were at a Harvey Norman doing an OB. You're joking? I'm not. I never joke about a Harvey Norman OB. Who was doing it?
Starting point is 00:29:21 I was just Mix 94.5. I didn't see the host. Stigmaivo? Sure. Crazy. Crawl. Yep. Isn't that good? Anyway, what are you going on? Stellar magazine. Oh. I thought they just posted on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Yeah. Well, they pretend they're a magazine. And then I was flicking through their... I mean, he's a magazine. It's being printed. but it's it's not what is it have you seen a stellar magazine no because it doesn't no but it they do print it you've seen one well that yeah well you've seen one so you story's changing so i i get the paper for the fire and you scroll them through and you go harvey norman ad scrolling through harvey norman it's not even the right verb yeah harvey norman ad um travel ad um um who chemist warehouse furniture oh there's a fucking health section
Starting point is 00:30:10 and it's eight pages and seven and a half pages are a chemist warehouse. Got in soul. Yeah. And then it's just like a letter from the editor. I'm like, did you edit the chemist warehouse? Edited the ads. Yeah. And then on the back of it, there was like half a page and they were like,
Starting point is 00:30:23 this is Stella magazine. Print media is alive and well. Look at them. But anyway, it turns out you can buy a paper way cheaper from office works for your fire starting needs. But what kind of paper is it? Like, do you mean you've bought, bought printer paper because no
Starting point is 00:30:42 that's too expensive to burn no but it's way cheaper than a newspaper is it so a newspaper is like 48 pages for $4 yeah let's do the maths here 48 pages for $0.10 a page when you get a thick
Starting point is 00:30:57 it's 250 pages for like eight bucks and it's thick GSM it could well as be an AS color t-shirt with the GSM they're rolling fucking these days yeah fuck you look at that yeah so $675 for a 500 sheets. Charles, what's that per page?
Starting point is 00:31:17 No, divided by. Yeah, I don't know which one that is. Divided by. Well, you did a slash. What are you talking about? Yeah, slash is divided by. We've had this conversation. Slash.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Slash. Yeah. Yeah. Seven. That's not the right information. Other way around. Point one cent per page. It's one cent per page.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I'm the dumbest person on earth and that was painful. One cent per page. Yeah, that's crazy. That's 10% of the price of a Herald son. And because it doesn't have to be a good, like the thinner, the better, actually. Well, newspapers, GSM is one. But that's, but the thinner, that's what you want. Is it though?
Starting point is 00:32:04 Yes. Yep. Because I thought a thicky would get you a dense burn. No, but it might take, it might be harder to catch. Also, I tried to start the fire with the shiny section. And that was, um, state. Do you remember when...
Starting point is 00:32:17 Chemical warfare in the house. We all almost died. Do you remember when you got, like, your food shopping delivered and you're like, how good, all these paper bags, we can burn them, but you can't because they've got like a coating on them? Yeah. That was a bad day. That's such a shame.
Starting point is 00:32:31 Smoke the house out. Yeah. Mark, I was a tough one. You okay, hon? Are you all right? No. You've taken everyone. We were just so excited about the paper.
Starting point is 00:32:41 I just got so deep in GSM chat. I'm just like... Yeah. Go suck me. I think... GSM. I think I need to go to an office works and ground myself. Do you need the horse photo?
Starting point is 00:32:53 No, it's a different kind of grounding. I think that... Oh, no, I'll do it. If you want to do it, I'll do it. You can't say no to a horse phone. Okay, yeah, you're right, you're right. Oh, it's the pubes from that drink. From that cocktail from three years ago.
Starting point is 00:33:08 Again, Dr. Dick Chup. Yeah. Oh, it's not here. We're at the boarding pass for Fiji. We'll need those things. Yeah. I'm going to scan that. when they asked me for my boarding pass.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I mean to take the huge one. It's there, in your head. No. No. She's left. Not in the midst of a horse chat, Horse photo. Tony's left the set because I went to get the horse photo
Starting point is 00:33:34 and I just pulled out a middle finger and really got her. And you know what? That is on me. That is unacceptable. The horse photo is sacred. It sounds sacred and you've been during a horse photo. Yeah. Like it's a.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It's not fucking year 11 English, you know what I mean? Yeah. We got to finish the week strong. I was trying. I know. And it's, I know. It's my fault. Love you.
Starting point is 00:34:16 I'm sitting like a fucking. No, that's all right. Shut. Sharp. Oh, we're out of here. Bye. Love you, love you. Love you.
