Starting point is 00:00:00 I told my co-worker that my sister has a new boyfriend. His name is Alan. And the lady at work goes, my grandson, guess what his name is? Alan? No, but his friend has a dog called Alan. Hi, I'm Courtney from Buckeye, Arizona in the US. Hey, I'm Holly.
Starting point is 00:00:19 I'm from Brisbane. Hi, I'm Al from Redditch, England, and I approve this podcast. Welcome to the Tony and Ryan podcast. name is Ryan. This is Dr. author, bestselling, Dr. author, Tony Lodge. And I was going to say, I have to make an apology. I think it's on behalf of both of us. No, I didn't do anything. Unless it's to me.
Starting point is 00:00:51 We made an outrageous claim that London needs to lift because they don't have drive-thru McDonald's. We did both say that. We did both say that. Because we never saw any. We didn't see any. And because we heard from the Tapper that just got their license and we were like, there's no drive-thru McDonald's. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Where are you at McDonald's for plural? It doesn't roll off the tongue. Well, McDonald's E's. Well, we say Maccas's. Well, yeah, I was going to say, well, we say Macas, I'm like that. Still doesn't really make sense. Oh, there's a few Maccas's on the way.
Starting point is 00:01:22 No. It's a double S's. There's a few Macas on the way. That doesn't sound right either. There's a few Mickey D's on the way. That sounds okay. That's fine. That's fine. We did say that because remember I pitched an idea of an underground through
Starting point is 00:01:37 that you get the next train. the next train stop, they go like, next station, Maccas. Or do you order at one, pay at the next, collect at the one after? That is so funny. Thank you. And visually hilarious. And that we need to make that skit. We're going back to London.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Yesterday we were going to North California and now we're going to London. Although what happens when the nuggets aren't ready and they go, can you just pull over to the sign? And you go, no. No. Is everyone fine with that? Yeah. Does everyone mind if we just fuck you guys up for a bit? And so he goes, I didn't order anything.
Starting point is 00:02:11 I don't want to. Tapa Millie says, I confirm we do have drive-thru McDonald's in London. I know this because I tried to walk through one at 3 a.m. the other night and those McMuffickers wouldn't serve me on foot in a drive-thru. They don't like that. Me drunk walking is safer than me drink driving. Well, I mean, you do have a point.
Starting point is 00:02:32 You do have a great point. Yeah, and you absolutely should never drink drive, but a drink walk. I think they can both be, Dainty. but one is still significantly more dangerous, you know what I mean? But is a drink walker dangerous in the wrong scenario? Oh, they're, mate. Again, they are dangerous. Yeah, yep.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I don't really know why you can't walk through or drive through. Like, I actually don't understand the logistics of it. I tried to go through in a BMX when I was 15. They, well, not according to them. They didn't like that. You can go through on a horse. I was about to say the horse has been, I've heard her horses have been turned down. Oh, I thought a horse was all G.
Starting point is 00:03:12 Sorry. No. No, my brain just meant G force, horse power and just got confused. G horse. How many Jeeves was that? One horsepower. Oh, gee horse. Oh, gee horse.
Starting point is 00:03:27 Can we get confirmation on the horse? Yeah, can you go? Yes, the horse was allowed. Can you trot through? Was. Yeah, so this was the horse here and it was able to order. Oh, Gugong. Great place.
Starting point is 00:03:39 to get a home land package. Yeah, they let the horsey through. Do you have the twist? Do you have the twist? Got any hay? Otherwise, vanilla will do. They're talking about the... That's what I was talking about.
Starting point is 00:03:55 The other day, the chocolate and vanilla swirl. They're not doing that anymore. Thank you. Oh, a little horsey. The answer is yes. McDonald's at Googon. We'll serve you. Cool.
Starting point is 00:04:06 They might put a rule into it now, realizing that horses are coming through, but for now they serve. They soft serve. That's good. Thanks. So there are drive-thrues in London. Yep.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Well, fuck, Devon. I've seen one. So we've just been to Gugong and I have turned into an Australian woman. Have you looked at the house and land packages in Gugong? No, I haven't. But should we? It's a great place to live. Is it on the sea?
Starting point is 00:04:37 No, it's about 25 minutes out of Canberra. Oh. towards Bateman's Bay potentially. That's my area. And that drive is gorgeous. Yep, there's Gugong. Gung.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Charles, you're zooming in at a rate that I can't read a thing. There's Canberra. Why don't we ask the Canberra live show in a few weeks if we should move to Gugong? If we should move to Gugong. Charles, can you write that down? Oh, yeah. Oh, it's right near Gerebombia. Oh, it's right near Queenbion.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Hmm. Queenbyn. Danny, I was like, can you find a few theatres. in Cambridge. She goes, I found this one in Queenby. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:05:14 no. Oh, we won't be doing that. Too far away? Yeah, sure. Yeah, okay. A bit too far away.
Starting point is 00:05:21 She also pitched the Arendale Theatre. Is it from Neighbors? Arendales? That's Erin Barra. But no, yeah. Sorry. Yep.
Starting point is 00:05:30 I'm a home and away family. Same actually. Yeah. Yeah. So I wouldn't know. Charles is also a home and away family. His mom watches it every night. Still.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Still. Really? Yeah. Yeah. She's horny for. Oh, does she like M. She does. Like she, we were a seven household.
Starting point is 00:05:45 Oh my God. Charles, you've got to give me your mom's, oh, I'll get it off your emergency contact form. I'm going to text her about my favorites for MKR. Because I don't know what she's actually watching. She's watching the block or MKR at the moment.
Starting point is 00:05:56 Because they, they do watch the block. That's the one show online. That's on nine, that's on nine, Charles. Yeah. That's the one show.
Starting point is 00:06:03 The show is more important than the channel. Disagree. I think that's why I don't fuck with the block. Because it's online. I'm like, It's time for coincidence chat. Yay! Oh my God, I love coincidence chat. People send through their coincidences and spoiler alert, they're not really coincidences.
Starting point is 00:06:21 They just suck because this segment sucks. But the sucking is the good bit. The fact that they suck is what makes them funny. Remember when we had that first one where the chick thought she maybe went to school with someone who looked like her brother? That's crazy. It's not that crazy. That's why it's crazy. I want you to know that everyone has gone out of their way.
Starting point is 00:06:41 to put in effort to message these through. I love it. All right, lay it on me. Tony. Her name is Tony Jones, and it's not the sports reporter from Channel 9 that tried to kiss Beck Judd on the news. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:06:55 My name is also Tony Louise. I'm sorry, that video is so grossy. The video of Johnny Jones kissing. Oh, like the way that she pushes him away. This is disgusting. Fuck, it's amazing. Sorry, Tony Jones. So Jones is the last name.
Starting point is 00:07:09 Tony said, My name is also Tony Louise. What? And my birthday is also on the 18th of November. Well, not a very big fan. Which is not Tony's birthday. Not my birthday. Why, when is my birthday?
Starting point is 00:07:25 And my mum is also dead. Well, two out of three ain't bad because you're not born on the 28th. It's like. Dead mom, though. Dead mom is good. Tony Louise. Oh, no. Tony Louise with a dead mom
Starting point is 00:07:42 That's good What, yeah Any No, no chat of the year Just the wrong date Okay Just the wrong birthday, yeah That's pretty crazy
Starting point is 00:07:51 Jessica Kipling Hi Jessica Kipling Oh like the little cakes I got a stupid tattoo When I was a teenager Classic It was an airy sign And three little hearts
Starting point is 00:08:05 That I drew myself Cool Like airy's like the Star sign Star sign. Yeah. Sorry, when you said Aries,
Starting point is 00:08:12 I heard Aries Inlet. Yeah. And I was like, I go. That's pretty cool. Yeah. Near Inlet. Tattoo of the lighthouse and stuff.
Starting point is 00:08:19 Yeah. 22 years later, I meet my now husband and he asks about my tattoo and I go, it's an Aries sign and I just randomly put three stars there. My husband says, well, I'm an Ares. And so is his daughter and she's sort of become the stepmom. So now the three stars are the three of us and we're a little Aries family. That is so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:08:40 That is a great coincidence. He's a great concert. That's really nice. Oh, and how cute that he said it too, that he was like, oh, now it sounds. I'm an Ares and so is my daughter. That's the three of us, those three little stars. That is a good. That's really cute.
Starting point is 00:08:53 I like that. Melissa. Hi, Melissa. I told my co-worker that my sister has a new boyfriend. His name is Alan. Oh, hang on. Okay, told the co-worker, Hi, Charles.
Starting point is 00:09:08 My sister's got a new boyfriend. Named Alan. Named Alan. Yep. And the lady at work goes, Oh, you're joking. My grandson, guess what his name is? Alan?
Starting point is 00:09:20 No, but his friend has a dog called Alan. What are the chances? See, I told you this segment sucks. That is so funny. Because even if the end of that story was, my grandson's name is Alan. It still sucks. It's still.
Starting point is 00:09:49 not the same person. Oh, I don't think there was any implications. It was just like crazy, two people with the name Alan in this world. Yeah, whoa. I've got an uncle Alan. Might be the same guy. Might be that guy's dog. Ain't Alicia.
Starting point is 00:10:07 Oh. Tell me about your weekend. I dated a guy who had a dog called Murphy. Guess what the name of my hometown is in Georgia. Murphy? No, it's Blairsville, but there's a town just over the border from there in North Carolina called Murphy. Crazy, right? Yeah, no, I don't think I'm approving that one.
Starting point is 00:10:34 Final one is from Anonymous. Because heaven forbid. Do you really only have one more? You've got to have more than that. I've got four more than I wanted. I went to university about an hour away from my hometown. Yep. I didn't know if people.
Starting point is 00:10:53 there would have even heard of my hometown. Sure. So after class I spoke to this guy and guess what? What? He had heard of it. I've actually got a dramatic reenactment and I'm going to play both characters. Okay. I don't know what the name of the town was, so can you give me a back?
Starting point is 00:11:15 Blaisville. It's right near Murphy. Have you heard of it? Okay. Hey man, how you doing? Yeah, good. How are you? Oh, a bit nervous because it's my first day and I'm from Blairsville and I don't. I'm from Blairsville, and I don't know if anyone's heard of that. And he goes, oh, okay. She goes, have you heard of it?
Starting point is 00:11:31 Yeah. I mean, how do they write this stuff? Inspiration artist's own. So if anyone else has got some coincidences. I mean, I love them. I would love for people to. There's a coincidence chat thread in the Tony and Ryan podcast Facebook group. And with a.
Starting point is 00:11:59 in one hour of posting a new thread, we had about 200 comments. And wasn't that a real great use of my time yesterday afternoon to get the best ones? This might be on us. Hear me out. Maybe when talking about coincidence chats and saying send us in your stories, whatever,
Starting point is 00:12:18 we never actually stipulated that there needed to be a coincidence in the story. Because a lot of these... It would appear so. Because a lot of them don't have coincidence. Because a coincidence is when it's a coincidence. What we're hearing is, hey, let me tell you a story that it's kind of dull
Starting point is 00:12:38 and doesn't have a coincidence in it. So for the next round. As dull as possible for the next round. These are too colourful. But they need. And two mind blowing. My mind cannot be blown anymore. Who am I?
Starting point is 00:12:55 Tony's husband. There's only so much I can be blown in one. week. So please put your dull vanilla stories and pretend there are coincidence in the coincidence chat thread or in the comment section today on YouTube. Hi, I'm Elle from Reddit England. I'm Courtney from Buckeye, Arizona in the US. Hey, I'm Holly. I'm from Bruce Vegas. You're listening to Tony and Ryan. A massive shout out to a few of our champion tappas. Over to our Patreon. Craig Purdy, if it is you, that is you. Nice. Shannon Ruffle, a couple of ruffles on the jumper. Holly Bryant, good on your Holly.
Starting point is 00:13:46 Sonia, Sakura. On your Sonia. Funky Meteor. Love it. Naomi Keith. Sarah Bettenzoli. Betonzole. Klim Wendstrom and Kane Rogers.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Thank you very much for being part of our Patreon. Absolutely fucking enough to say it. I think that list of news. names was the top five best we've ever had. Thank you so much. Just amazing names. Thank you. There was variety.
Starting point is 00:14:09 There was highs. There was lows. There was drama. There was something funky in there. Yeah. Funky medial. Funky called Medina. If the world's going to end.
Starting point is 00:14:18 That's how you want to go. It's a meteor. Is it a good one? It's pretty funky. It's pretty funky. Yeah. Someone unironically the other day. Fuck,
Starting point is 00:14:24 I can't even remember what I was. Someone unironically said groovy the other day, like in my vicinity. Was it when one of us? may or may not have been dressed up for Austin Powers for maybe something to do with a calendar for 2027. It actually was. Though they weren't saying it in relation to you, they just said groovy. And I was like-
Starting point is 00:14:41 Because I looked groovy as Austin Powers. I don't even know if it was while you were dressed up, but it was there though. Was it where I was wearing the Cuban heels? The flares? You guys, I'm going to fucking come for this calendar. It's the closest you're going to get to a sexy calendar. Is that a challenge? We'll see.
Starting point is 00:15:00 beloved family characters. We have given clue. Do you want to give a little sneaky clue? Oh, what do you reckon? The 27 calendar is, the theme. The theme is iconic duos, mainly couples, but we said duos to get a few extra to fill out the years. So it's like some of your favorite, yeah, duos.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Sexy duos. Some sexy. There is a kissing scene. I've said too much. Someone's had to get their rig out and I'm not talking about their body. Yep. And someone had to practice a manoeuvre at a playground. And that was me.
Starting point is 00:15:43 I went on a swing. I want to know the legalities of this. I went on a swing and Ryan ran in front of me and I stopped myself and it really hurt my feet. And he said, no, it's the job of a person who's running in front to not get hit. Because you're swinging. You're swinging because every babysitter, parent, auntie, knows the joy of you push them and then when they're coming you kind of like jump out of the way and the kid just like thinks it's really funny well i didn't think you
Starting point is 00:16:08 were getting out of the way and you just mission to board it and nearly fucking did your ac out i know and it really fucking hurt but i reckon that silly town i didn't like that that was too silly for the playground for me because i thought if i hit you that's going to hurt both of us but that's i wouldn't let you hit me because i'll be like whoa yeah well should we go try it again no Oh, cool. Do you want to try to get you felt a bit? No, but now that I know to, but I didn't know the game. I thought, and I was like trying to protect you because I didn't want to fucking hit you in the goolies.
Starting point is 00:16:41 And to be fair, I just assumed you're a swinger. And I'm not. No. I don't have kids. I don't know. You're a mean potatoes girl. I am married. Polygamous.
Starting point is 00:16:50 What's the word I'm trying to use? Monogamous. Yes. Yes. The opposite actually. Oh, you're not a swinger. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:57 Yeah. And that's okay. Um, I do have a hot tape though. Yeah, have you got it there? I've got my little at. Oh, Charles, you got my stick. Touch me on the stick, Charles. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Now, we haven't been doing hot takes as often, but I think it's something that we can relight this candle whenever it needs to burn. And I have got something that I just cannot stop thinking about and I really need to get off my chest. My hot take is that hotel bathrooms need to have a toilet brush in them. You've been scorched.
Starting point is 00:17:35 Do they not? They never do. Really? They never, ever do. And I guess from like a health and safety perspective, they're like, we just don't, like, can't leap because they get, they're hard to clean. They've got full time cleaning. And is that just the cost of doing business in the hotel world?
Starting point is 00:17:54 But then so what, you throw it out every time? Just cleaner properly or something. Or have it, build a system. or something, a process to... I agree. There must be something they can do. I'm so with you. I didn't realize they weren't.
Starting point is 00:18:05 They never do. And I mentioned it to Charles and I was like, God, how crazy is it that they never have toilet brushes in a hotel toilet? And he went, right? So last week I went to like a conference in Sydney. And I stayed in a hotel and I was only there for the night. And I was like, oh. And I feel guilty because I don't want to leave.
Starting point is 00:18:29 the toilet covered in my shit because that's so gross. But also, I have been ducking backwards and forwards to Perth for some personal reasons. Yep. And I stay in a hotel, like the same hotel. But when I stay in a hotel for a few days, I don't like it when they remake the bed. I hate it. I untuck the blanket. I don't want you to come back my bed.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Do you untuck it with your hands or do you get in and you up kick it out? I do both. So as soon as I get into a hotel, I, um, untucked it because they're fucking tucked in for fucking England. Like they are like doing it for sport and they're like who can tuck it the hardest. Anyway and then so you have to like yank them out and then when I get in I like fluff it up, kick my feet up like this and I fluff up all the blankets. I get them just how I like it and I rearrange the pillows in a way that suits me.
Starting point is 00:19:21 And then they come in, they remake the bed and they tuck the things and I don't like that. So when I'm staying at a hotel, I normally leave the do not distilled. but the whole time. Yep. Because I don't need new towels. Maybe you can trade them. Huh? I'll trade you a bed turn for a toilet brush.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Oh, that's good. Don't play checkers when you can play chess. But so. Was that a saying? People say. After a couple of days. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:51 And that's, yeah, we're all adults. Yeah. This is fine. Yeah. But like, I'm actually, you know, don't want to like sitting my own shit. So fair. So just leave me a fucking toilet brush so that I can take care of my own bizo. So true.
Starting point is 00:20:04 So I get up from the toilet. I flush it. I check it, of course. And then I go, yep, zim, zim, zim, to flush it again, rinse the thing off, put the thing down. Great. What's so fucking hard about that? That's really surprised me. And it's sort of like you...
Starting point is 00:20:21 The fact that you don't know is not... Yeah, I know that's... I'm sort of embarrassed about that. Yeah. The fact that you've never noticed that is telling of the kind of person you are. Are you checking the toilet? after you've pooed, no. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:34 It sounds like you're not because otherwise you would know that there's a toilet brush or not. But maybe I should be doing it more. Because I, so I will poo, right? Or actually just either, whatever I'm doing, I will then flush the toilet. And normally that's like when I'm, if the sink is right there, that's normally when I'm like washing my hands. Or it's when I'm like doing my jeans back up or whatever. And then when it's finished flushing, which only takes like three or four seconds.
Starting point is 00:20:59 give a little glance. I always look in and go, yep, it's good for the next person. Or like, if when I flash it, there's a bit of like water comes out onto the seat. I'll wipe that down because it's not nice when you go into the toilet. It's got shitting it or water on the seat or whatever. So I always, always check it. And it's not nice to be graded by your own skid marks. So do you, because you're in a hotel room by yourself.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Yeah. And you've got a, like a queen size double bed. I think it's a king at that. you have a king what how many towers they're giving you for that oh as in the what's the room yeah um normally it's two per person so there's four in the room i'd sacrifice one of those yeah but i'm asking the king of shitting on towels yeah but just get grip one of the towers and just get it in there are there any more questions then i've got to deal with a shitty towel you put that in the when they do the towers sorry man can't stop those towels in there yeah didn't shit on did you i didn't
Starting point is 00:22:01 shit on them. No, here you go. No, the technicality is very important. There you go. But why are they not doing it? Surely they've got toilet brushes. So when you check out, when the cleaners come through, when they do the full reset, they're, yeah, yeah. Hmm.
Starting point is 00:22:19 And wouldn't they rather I took care of it as it went, because the longer you leave it, the harder it is to get off. It's like wheat bicks. Got to get in there soon. It actually is like weekbicks. Yeah. Which is why I am such. a huge advocate for putting water in something
Starting point is 00:22:33 before you put it in the sink. So true, because it hardens up and it's fucked. And you can't, but the same way, if you get a little bit of poop on the toilet bowl, it's the quicker you get, like, and if you poo and then you see it and you scoop it straight, done,
Starting point is 00:22:48 never think about it again. But if you leave it for a bit, that's a, that's a scrubby, scrabby. Can I tell you something about their male psyche, or for anyone with the penis? Sure. Here is what good motherfuckers do.
Starting point is 00:23:01 Yeah. If you see a bit of poop in the bowl. Yeah. That's been leftover. Yeah. Flemdover. No. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:23:09 Left behind. Left over makes it sound like we're having delicious leftovers for lunch. Do you know what I made for dinner the other night? This hell yum like ground brief, ground beef and, um, you won't like this. Cabbage. Like on rise. It was absolutely fucked. It was so yummy.
Starting point is 00:23:25 That's amazing. Yeah. So say, and we're not being gross here. We're just like, no, no. This is just a science chat. I come over to Perth. And I come and see you in the room and go, she's, do you mind if I go the button? You go, yeah, and you go, oh.
Starting point is 00:23:35 Do you know, instantly I would go. Yeah. Oh, I would, I'd be like, oh my God, my shit's in the toilet. I just, nothing for me is more embarrassing. But what a man will do. Yeah. What a penis have will do is they will piss on the shit to, like, wash it off. Like it's such.
Starting point is 00:23:51 The original high pressure hose. Hopefully, if you're a young enough. Does it dwindle as you get older? I think so. How's yours? Well, it depends if you really need a piss. How's your stream? Well, if you really...
Starting point is 00:24:03 Is it strong? Because that's your prostate, isn't it? I think so, yeah. How's yours? I think it's okay. How's yours, Charles? Solid. That's great.
Starting point is 00:24:11 But Charles, is it true? If you just see a little bit of something, you'll just naturally... Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's nice. It's like high pressure. High pressure, but also... Do you have to push when you... Like, do you have to go...
Starting point is 00:24:20 Maybe with age. Yeah. But it's also like warm. Oh yeah, because it's body temperature. Yeah, and it's... Oh my God, yeah, of course. It's warm. You can aim it and you, and then even if you can't get it off,
Starting point is 00:24:37 you're just softening it for the next guy and then he'll take it off. Or then the flash does it. Yeah. And so whilst I agree with everything you said, penis havers will have a crack at that. That's really nice. It's a community out there. That is really nice.
Starting point is 00:24:52 Yeah. And so I wouldn't go, Tony, what the fuck. I just, and you wouldn't even think about it. You're just like, well, obviously. Because it's like when you have a basketball and a basketball, ring and you give the guy the ball. What are they going to do? Not shoot it.
Starting point is 00:25:04 I've actually never seen you pick up a ball and not like, throw it at me, bounce it, kick it at me. And so you wouldn't go in and go, oh, I am deciding to piss on the shit. It's just nature. It's nature doing its thing. That's really beautiful. Yeah. That is a community. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:20 We are a community. That's really nice. Would you like me if it comes to Perth with you next time? Yes. For this one specific reason. Yep. And separate rooms. but then if I go
Starting point is 00:25:33 oh, toilet brush toilet brush needed you come round If you go Bip bit bit bit you You want to bring that hose with you would you?
Starting point is 00:25:40 You think a lot of yours yourself Bring that farm and size over your ear Matt So that's I made them all out I've been trying to take care of my one
Starting point is 00:25:47 Yeah Mine is a moose Did you know that they don't have toilet brushes In this hotel Great hot take Thank you
Starting point is 00:25:57 Needed to It needed to be said Got a lot to see it here From Caitlin Rigg Oh, Caitlin with her rig. I'm so proud of my mum. Oh. She was diagnosed with FND.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Oh, wow. And had to medically retire at 43 from her corporate executive badass job. Because we're struggling a bit. How old, sorry? 43. Fuck, that's so young, eh. Also, what's the name of that good bitch at the CWA? Beryl is the one that you, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:28 They're all great, but Beryl is the one. name you remember. Because she couldn't work anymore, it actually freed her up to try and achieve one of her lifelong goals. Yeah. Which was to become an author, illustrator. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:26:44 And I'm so proud of her and I'm happy to announce that on August 26th, The Adventures of Mabel and Beryl was published. It starts as a children series featuring Western Australian Animals. The book was born in Darden Up, which is pretty much just down the road from Barnbury. Daddy, yeah. If you're interested, mable and beryl.com.com.
Starting point is 00:27:06 There's some free downloads for the kitties too if they want to do some coloring in. Oh my God, Ryan. Oh my God. That is the cutest illustration I've ever seen. Yeah, and there's all the downloadable. You can get the book. But see, there's the free ones. You can do some drawing.
Starting point is 00:27:18 That's your daughter and my friend Beryl. Yep, it's definitely named after them. So, so see you can download and color them in stuff. The illustration is gorgeous. Oh, it's a little how-to guy with the coloring. Oh, I'm so embarrassed to do my love to see it after this. There's slow down, Mabel, and there's Biontime Beryl. Oh, that one's for you.
Starting point is 00:27:44 All right. What do you love to see? I've got a lot to see it here, but... Is it better than Mabel and Beryl? Well, I feel a bit embarrassed now because it's you love to see it about how much I love my husband. So, Torbs last night, he comes home, he goes, oh my God, Tony. I found a new favorite... I found a movie that you're going to love.
Starting point is 00:28:03 And I was like, oh, what is it? He goes, oh, I saw the trailer today. It's a C movie, so you'll really like it. And I was like, I was like, the one that you'd like it. That's very funny. He goes, it's called, I'm just looking at the thing, whale fall. And the synopsis of the movie is that a diver gets sucked up by a whale. He's diving.
Starting point is 00:28:27 He gets taken into the mouth of the whale, and he only has like X amount of, of oxygen left and at the very same time. Oh my God. And Torbs goes, you will love it. We watched the trailer and I was like, I cannot wait to see it. And so my love to see it is that my husband knows me so well that this stupid fucking movie, he was like, Tony will love that. And he's right.
Starting point is 00:28:49 I can't wait to watch it. The trailer is awful. It's so bad. So when you say the C, you mean like this, the C. S-E-A, yeah. Yeah. I was like, you've got a C movie. It starts with a D-L-E-A-Mov.
Starting point is 00:29:02 I'm like, what the fuck is going on? No, so true. No, I'm sorry. So, did you watch the one about the dive, the deep divers? Like, um. Longest breath or something. Yeah. But they're not, they're not, they're free divers.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, but just underwater and it's real creepy and terrifying. Because they always scored real spooky as well. But this is like a drama. It's like a action thriller kind of. Like, did you watch the movie, um,
Starting point is 00:29:30 fucking like the Blake Live. surfer movie where she's trapped on that little thing because that evil shark. Awful. Incredible. We watched this other one the other day. I'm thinking of Moby Dick. Are you actually thinking of Free Willy? I'm not being funny, but are you actually thinking of Free Willy?
Starting point is 00:29:53 No. Who's the guy with the whale? Isn't that Moby? Well, Free, are you? Have you seen Free Willy? Yeah, he jumps over the thing at the end. Yeah. Doesn't it make you cry?
Starting point is 00:30:05 Ball. I haven't watched in years because I can't. I'm too scared. Oh. Charles, I know that you haven't, but have you ever seen Free Willie? I haven't.
Starting point is 00:30:14 Can you Google Moby Dick? Oh, M-O-B-Y. That's really embarrassing, Charles. Yeah, see? The Man on the Sea. Ethan Hawks in Moby Dick. I've never watched the movie. I didn't realize there was a movie.
Starting point is 00:30:30 It was from 1956. Ethan Hawke was doing movies in 1956? That doesn't look right. It looks quite new. I don't think that that's from 1956. That must be an... Yep, yep. So that's the original one.
Starting point is 00:30:47 They've obviously remade it in the last five years. So there was another movie that I watched the day that we did the live stream. Remember when you were sick and I ended up live streaming by myself? That day, I had watched this terrible thriller movie about a hippopotamus. What's a hippopotopatose? They're in the... He's in an octopus with a hepatoma. Hip-hip, hip-h-h-h-h-a.
Starting point is 00:31:14 American's unfamiliar. Hippomatous. Hippopotamus. You're trying to say a hippopotamus? It's like... Oh, I thought it was like a hippo mix with something else and that's how... No, no, no, that's Shark Nadeau. You're thinking of Shark Nadeau.
Starting point is 00:31:28 Oh, wait, wait, hang. So the hippotopatous. So the hippotopatous... You were so far off, I didn't even know what you were trying to say. So... They're on a hippopotamus tour. And no, they're trying to say. Please don't add any more teeth to this story.
Starting point is 00:31:42 It's not hungry. This hippo isn't playing games. Because it's like hungry, hungry hippos. They're on an alligator tour like in the fucking bayou or fucking some shit. And then there's a killer hippopotamus who comes out of nowhere and they're like, ah! And there's a man in a tree. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:32:03 Can you say going on a hippopotamus tour with Tony? Hippotopatous to Tony. What'd you call me? Yeah, but the hippocropitus. Hippinopatous. Hippatous. Hippinopatous. This is crazy.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Hippamopatous. You would be really bad at a hungry, hungry hippo. No, I can say hippo. Hippamop. No. But those kind of shit crazy and animal movies, like Shark Nato, like Paran. At the end of that... Anaconda.
Starting point is 00:32:38 In the end of that movie, one of the hippos isn't doing so well. So they need to call the ambulance for the hippopotamus. So the hippo... The hippo car. Wow. What a... I thought, wow. Hippatobotus.
Starting point is 00:32:58 Can you say hippopotamus? Hippotomous. Why don't you say that? Hipomis. You know, you're thinking of a fancy dip. Hippetamus. I will never ever
Starting point is 00:33:16 be lectured by you on my ability to pronounce words. It's like hippotopatous. So I love movies like that. I love them. I think they're so tragic. Why didn't you then love what was that dinosaur war movie?
Starting point is 00:33:37 Primitive war. Primitive war that you made, that film that you start in and feature filmed. That was awful. That was not good. Primitive War is now available on Netflix in Canada, if you would like to watch it in Canada. I would just like you to know that that's a very great movie
Starting point is 00:33:52 and that everyone should watch it as much as possible. You can't even tell which parts are real and which parts are not real. I'm not saying AI, but CGII at least. you know there's some fucking something going on there's some something yeah are you looking at it right now charles i just like saw this and i was like that looks interesting oh my god charles so ryan funded that movie do you remember that chat yeah like a small part of it and you'll be glad to know i've received none of it back yeah that's all right you might because i watched it on netflix so you might get a little bit of that back um anyway i love movies like that i might love to see it was just to
Starting point is 00:34:36 being like, I've seen the trailer for the worst movie ever, you're going to love it. And I watched the trailer and I was like, I am going to fucking love that. Love that. The twist is, he gets swallowed into the whale at the same time as a giant squid. So he has to battle the giant squid in the whale's tummy. Crazy. That is pretty crazy. And he doesn't have much oxygen in you guys.
Starting point is 00:34:55 The squid? The diver. Is he a salt and pepper? So can the guy in the whale? Yeah, well, yeah. The budget was $7 million. the box office has grossed 1.2 worldwide. God, they didn't have to add the worldwide, did they?
Starting point is 00:35:15 That's her primitive war, not whale fall. So we spent seven and we've made 1.2 back. But you've got to break an egg to make an omelet, you know what I mean? Primitive war might not make that much, but maybe primitive war too. We cracked lots of eggs and got no omelets. I like an omelet, me. Except every time I try and make an omelette, it just turns into bad scrambled eggs. That's what an omelette is.
Starting point is 00:35:37 No, like, because I can't get the folds. You just got to throw it. Or then it's just like not cooked in the middle or whatever. Or it's really dry on the outside and it's like wet on the inside. Like it's not even. Yeah. We're in Fiji for podcasts away. The buffet.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I reckon by the end of the week you get your omelets down pat. Do you reckon that if I said could I have a crack that I'd let me? Yeah. If I go, could I flip one? Do you reckon? Yeah. It's Fiji. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:05 It's like Luxembourg. The rules that just governs himself. Fuck, yeah. It's like the auto bar. Yeah. Yeah. It's the auto barn of egg flipping. No speed limit.
Starting point is 00:36:14 Pugh, phew. Love you, see ya. Bye.
